Westgate Resorts was beautiful inside and outside. It was clean. It was dog-friendly, which was helpful because we have a little dog. The rooms were very spacious. We had a suite, and it was gorgeous. Oceanfront, open concept. You walk in the kitchen, the living room, and the bedroom was over to the other side. Also, the people were very friendly, polite, organized and attentive.
The only issue we had was when we walked in, there was water from the refrigerator, but they sent one up right away to tend to that. We had left the room, but they communicated through a text message that they would send someone up to deal with that. I told them I had already put towels down to clean it up to absorb the water, but if they could send someone up to see, make sure that that wouldn't be a continual problem, I would appreciate it. And they did, and they left more towels sitting on the counter for us. They took care of the problem and cleaned up the wet towels, and left me with more towels, which was great.
The only drawback was they have a place on the premises. There are three towers. The food options were a place in one of the other towers. It was a bar and grill, and there's a pizza place. There wasn't a huge option for amenities. But outside of that, we enjoyed our stay. We just had to keep going across the street to use Friendly's for breakfast, or we would stroll to find a place to eat because we weren't aware of the other place until we were getting ready to leave. But as far as cleanliness and customer service and location, it was great. The cost was good and the room was nice.
My only experience prior to that had been down the road at another location where you couldn't walk across the floor because the carpet was damp all the time, left our feet black, and the service was awful. Couldn't get blankets. But this location, we were happy. We would pay again to stay there, without question, because we enjoyed our stay there. It was a very nice resort.
When I stayed there, I sent my family pictures and showed them our room, our location, the inside of the lobby, everything. It's clean and the people are polite and attentive. We didn't wanna have to feel like a burden when we put in a request for something or asking for anything. They never made me feel like that at Westgate. We don't wanna go on a vacation and have to feel we were just another number. They didn't make us feel like that. I told my daughter, “This has been great. Our stay is great.” It was an amazing stay.

I liked the amenities that Westgate had to offer. It had a lot of different amenities. Primarily, the pool was a big thing we took advantage of when we did our stay. We didn't stay there long enough to enjoy everything, but they had crafts. They had horseshoe pits. They had volleyball net. If you were going to be there especially with a family, they had a little miniature golf. It would have turned out really nice for a bigger family and if we were there longer. There wasn't any place to eat on site, but there were some local restaurants that weren't that far away. And they did have some rooms with balcony. That was what geared us over there.
As far as customer service, we were treated with a lot of respect in the lobby. The receptionist was very knowledgeable, and we liked it all the way around. We stay at hotels quite often. The girl who helped us at the desk acted very professionally and she was easy to talk to. Once in a while, I'll get somebody that's not that easy, but she was very polite. We made our reservation. They set us right up. In the future we would definitely consider using them again for a stay. They're on our list. For the price, they were right on.

When we checked in, Westgate had everything ready. It was very easy. We were a group of 10 and they took us straight to our teepees. The food and restaurant selections worked for us but it wasn't over the top. They had a nice steak restaurant, a to-go window for pizza, a little ice cream shop, and a smokehouse grill where you order things then you take it to your table. But the teepees are 100% amazing. There was a full bathroom, full shower, and even a bidet. The bedding was deluxe - very comfortable and clean. Two people stayed in each teepee and all of us have not stopped raving about it yet. It was a top-notch experience.

The check-in and check-out processes were good. We did the shuffleboard and the miniature golf in the resort. The location of the resort was good. It was very convenient. I would stay there again.

My husband and I were talking about going to Dude Ranch and how that was on my bucket list. The reservation process with Westgate was wonderful. The Dude Ranch was very close to the house. The different food options and the amenities were fantastic. The only thing I was disappointed in was the whole time-share thing. We were like, "Okay, this sounds fantastic. We need to go ahead and do that." And then we came home and realized that funds needed to be moved around out of CDs that don't mature until late this year and late next year. So, we needed to retract our offer, and the rep said that we had a 10-day rescission, and they didn't give me all my money back. They told me, "That's fine, don't worry about it."
I have a family vacation planned for next year and they told me, "Well, for $1,900, we'll rent you exactly what you were gonna buy. We'll send you a certificate for that and all the paperwork for that. And you just pay the $1,900. Then you can find out when your kids can go and we'll get you booked." That never happened and nobody returned any of my phone calls. I gave up. I tried too many times. There are other places I can take the kids for a family vacation. It doesn't have to be there. I just really liked the facility. Other than that, I've recommended Westgate to tons of people.

We purchased at Westgate Smoky Mountains about 20 years ago. We were very happy for many years. But about 11 years ago, we took our daughter and 2 young grandchildren with us. They talked us into doing the tour, which meant (unbeknownst to us) that we would be taken back to where they would try to sell us a bigger unit. We told them upfront we were happy with our unit and did not want to purchase anything else. We also told them that our daughter and grandchildren were waiting on us at the waterpark. They said they had to get a manager just to get us to sign that we didn't want anything else. The manager came and wouldn't give us the papers until he gave his spill and just kept talking. I finally just got up and walked out. We only went back a couple of times over the next several years and exchanged the other years through Interval International.
We did go back a few years ago, and I told the concierge that took us to our room that we did not want to do the tour. He was really nice and said they just wanted opinions of owners on their newest rooms, and he promised that we could just sign the papers that we didn't want to purchase anything else. Well, he lied. And he brought in Matt, that also lied and wouldn't let us go. And I know he lied because I had met Amanda (whose mother was an original higher up in the company and now Amanda was a higher up) on a cruise. I had told her about my previous experience and asked a lot of questions. She said that should never have happened. So, I knew things Matt was telling me was a lie and I told him so.
Well, I had also asked our concierge earlier if we could change rooms because people above us sounded like they kept rearranging furniture and running and who knows what until about midnight, then started again about 7:00 in the morning. He said they would see about it at that meeting. After I made it clear that we were not going to buy anything bigger, Matt told me that they could not be changing our room because what if I complained about the next one. If I could give them our room back (since they don't seem to appreciate owners of the smaller units that purchased in the very beginning with them), I would give it back. But of course, they don't let you and if you quit paying the maintenance fees, they will turn it in on your credit report. And we don't want to mess up our 830 credit scores. I love the area, and I love the room we have, but I can't tolerate them not listening to us and lying to us.

I was there for 7 days at Wild Bear in Tennessee. When l got there my room was ready. The only problem I had at that time was the room had nowhere that l could eat at. Later on during the week l had housekeeping cleaning my room. I did not pay attention to my cleaning clothes l bought with me until that Friday. That’s when l discovered my clothes were gone. House keeping had stolen my clothes. I was very upset. They did the proper things but that’s not the point. They stole my clothes. If you stay there make sure you check your clothes every day. The rooms were clean. They just have thieves as housekeepers.

I like the Westgate brand and I like the properties. The customer service is always great. As soon as you walk in the door, they greet with a smile and they make sure they’re attentive and that you have everything that you may need on the property. If you need something, you can just pick up the phone and call them and they'll provide it for you. Usually, we go to the pool or we'll go to the little water lagoons. I walk through and see all the amenities that they have on their properties, because each property has different stuff. But being a Floridian, I get a lot of $99 packages, but I can never take advantage of them because I know there's a time share walk-through or preview involved. That's the only thing that I do not like about that. But other than that, the pricing is fine.

We like Westgate Resorts' affordability and that it is family-friendly. Our kids did the water park, the mini golf and the activity center. We did the arcade and the movie theater as well. We had a wonderful time. The staff was also wonderful and the food was excellent.

The reservation process was real quick and easy. I called them and it was a good two hours that we sat on the phone going over different prices and rooms. She was helpful. It's a nice place that Westgate got going on down there. The food was good. The pools were beautiful. The shipwreck was good. It was nice.

Checking in was very smooth and nice. They were really nice there. We really enjoyed the interaction with the people that we had. They were very helpful if we had any questions. The ones that we dealt with at the front desk were great all around. We got a single room. It was really nice when we got there. It was clean. The bed was very comfortable. They made the hand towels on the left-hand side of our wall hanging up into an elephant. Westgate was very friendly. You do not have to worry about when you were there as the security at the bottom of the hill where you come in makes you feel safe.

Checking-in was really nice. The lady gave me all the information needed and the smell, I don't know what that fragrance is that they use, but that smell was so amazing. In the room, we had two queen beds with the patio area and everything was suitable for us. It was not too big, but it was a nice size for a family of four. Also, the food options was pretty good. I like the fact that everything was right there and we were able to order stuff and they'd bring it out to the pool area. The only thing that I can say that I didn't like was one particular pool guy. He was trying to close the umbrella at the table that we were sitting at while we were sitting there and he was closing other umbrellas at the tables where people had their stuff at and people were sitting. We told him to not close ours and he ended up not closing it, then proceeded to bother an older couple who said they have a timeshare there and went and told security on them. Security just talked to him. But I just feel like that was the only thing that I didn't like.

The people at the hotel were so friendly and my husband left the resort two times -- there was really no need. There was a coffee shop where we could get breakfast and we would go in the morning, get a coffee, get something to eat, and just sit and watch the water. There was a restaurant that was attached to the time shares and that was a restaurant. We walked over there one night. We would have lunch at a bar gazebo that opened at 11:00 and we would order lunch and eat there.
There were so many pools and there was the ocean. We had an ocean view. Every day, we would go on our deck and we would have coffee and watch all the people that were picking up seashells as the sun was rising. It was beautiful. The room was very nice and clean. The only thing is it would have been nice to have a chair inside the room, being that we're senior citizens and it would have just been comfortable for us. Otherwise, the room was impeccably clean. We will come again. That's how much we liked it.

I had a good experience with Westgate. The check-in was fast and I didn't wait too long. The checkout was a self-checkout and I just gave back what I checked in with. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel was very nice and clean. My kids enjoyed it well. They didn't go into the splash pad because it was a little bit colder but they used the hot tub and the pool a lot. Plus, we went paddle boat riding. I loved that too. That was the first time I did that and it was good that Westgate had that option as well. The location was good because my daughter had a cheerleading competition and Westage was just 11 minutes away. We were able to get there, come home and have lunch, and go back for the second part of her competition. She has cheer again this year so, we're looking to go back for the location and for her to do her cheerleading. I also recommended it to other parents that it’s the place to be.

Westgate's customer service was great. Everybody was friendly. Our room was nice. The reservation process was quick and easy. I was able to find everything on their website. They gave us a QR code with our room tickets. We were able to scan and find the amenities. They had pools. They had a spa, too, but I only was able to do the pools. As far as the cleanliness, it was good. It wasn't dirty anywhere. We had a great experience. The kids enjoyed it. I enjoyed myself.

The check-in process at Westgate was smooth and everyone was very cordial and accommodating. The first time we came, we didn't know anything and we wanted to eat. There was a young lady behind the desk and she gave us a bunch of menus as well as a few recommendations. We still eat at one of them right now for our shrimp and grits. And it's always good. The last time, we just came and stayed. It was great. A young man was very kind and we talked about the Knicks in the playoffs. We had a great room and the renovations are tremendous.
I like Westgate. It’s the best place that I stayed at in Williamsburg. If you wanna be in a good location, with a Dunkin Donuts right across the street, a supermarket right to your right and all types of restaurants right to your left down the road, you're in a place where you can walk as well as use your car. If you don't feel like using your car, leave it at Westgate. There's a nice Thai restaurant right to the left that's amazing. The location and the upkeep of the place make it second to none.

Checking in to Westgate has gotten a lot better over the years. I used to dread it because we'd be in the hot heat waiting to get checked in. My daughter is the owner and I'd get my own room and I have other family that would meet us and we'd all get rooms, and it took forever. The rooms are awesome. It’s perfect and the only thing that can make it any better is some small appliances. When my kids are out and about, I'd like to bake a cake. I live here in Florida and I take that stuff with me. But if it was there, I wouldn't have to take it. On the other hand, I get it that when you're on vacation, not everybody wants to cook.

I was looking for a beachfront hotel or a condo, and Westgate had what I needed. The check-in and check-out were very easy. I made my reservations online. The day of, I got an email from them and I was pre-checked in. Everything seemed to be clean and neat, and everybody was friendly and courteous. The resort's location was very convenient. There are a few restaurants around, and the amusement park was across the street.

Westgate seems like a comfortable, safe environment to stay and enjoy yourself. My experience with them was fine. When I made mistakes, they corrected them. They were very helpful. The room was also very comfortable. The bus and the security were available and the housekeepers were okay as well.

The reservation with Westgate was super easy. I did it online and then checked in when I got there. The resort's location was fantastic. It was within walking distance. It's great. The people that were there were very friendly and helpful. We had a great time. Unfortunately, the restaurant that's attached to the building was closed.

I requested a cancellation within few minutes after booking, but they weren't helpful at all. They were charging me for the first night plus taxes. Again, this request was literally minutes after the booking. Not anyone, including manager, would want to waive it. I guess they needed the money more than I do.

I have kids and I like that Westgate is family friendly. I love the reservation check-in and check-out process. It was really good. As far as recreational activities, we did the water park, the pool, and the mini golf. We rode on the little swan boats. When we went down, it was Mother's Day weekend, so we weren't going down for the attractions. Everything is there, so you really don't have to go anywhere. The staff was helpful and nice. Rooms were clean. That's my favorite place.

Westgate Resorts was a great value and had everything that we needed. It looked to be the best deal pricewise for what was offered in the location that I needed. Checking-in was quick and easy. Standard hotel check-in, waiting at the registration desk, swipe in a credit card and given our information, and told us after that, go meet with the concierge at that desk. That way they could direct us to where we needed to go since it was a big place. All of my staff interactions were great. Great customer service, very responsive to everything. The room was perfect for what we needed. The furnishings were a bit dated, but that's not something that I was there for. Also, the on-site restaurant was very good. They had great, upscale bar food. That was the only place we ate at.

I love everything about Westgate Resorts. I love how clean the rooms are, the beds, how everything is so convenient, so close from Disney. The price is excellent for the quality of the rooms. It's very good. A new lady that they have who work the night time shift is excellent. She went up far from her job to help me, make sure that my stay was pleasant. I got sick. I ate something. And she was on top of that. She was awesome help. It's great for the resort. Everything was okay with my staying there.
I like the pools. If I would change something, I would have the little cars in the front, those that drive you around the resorts in case the people want to go back in the other resorts in the back. Because I went in the back by in the big bus, in the big bus. So it's more convenient. I live in Jersey and we're looking for warm. We wanna feel the weather.

Everything was smooth and the only thing was when I was checking out, the door closed and I wasn’t able to use the key. So, I had to go to the desk. But the staff was helpful. Westgate could have a dine-in instead of having to-go. That would make things easier. It would have been cool too if the pool opens until 12:00 because of the weather and the time of the sunset.

My experience with Westgate Resorts was great. The resort was in the middle of everything and everything seemed good about it. The location was very convenient 'cause it was in between Universal Studios and Disney Springs plus between gas stations and restaurants and a Walmart. It was really good. The check-in and check-out process went by very smoothly, too.

We've been in Westgate twice and our first time there was two years ago. It's a great location. There's always parking right in the front and it’s extremely convenient. The lobby is large and spacious, and the rooms are clean and quiet. You text when you're about an hour away so the staff are waiting for you when you get there. The check-in process is easy and the staff are always nice, pleasant, helpful and friendly. We don't ever have to complain about anything there. They show us the activities calendar, go over the location of the room and talk about the pool.

It was a nice experience overall. Reservation was awesome. I did it online, then I went on the front desk. They were friendly, helpful, the whole 100 yards. When I called, I first said, "Perhaps." I stayed four nights. When I called for coffee, they were courteous and fast. Price-wise, the room that Westgate Resorts gave me was in the middle. We did mini golf. Everything was super, and I will go back with my entire family.

I stayed at a Westgate resort before in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and it was very nice. Then, on the trip that I took back in April of this year, the group that I went with picked the Westgate in Tennessee. The lady who checked me in was very knowledgeable and she let me know of the amenities that the resort had. It was a quick process. Everybody was very friendly and the room was pretty nice. It was clean and the size was awesome for the three of us. We ate at the restaurant there and the food was good.
We did the water park and I don't really like water parks, but I enjoyed it. We came as a group and we were supposed to all be together, but everybody was late booking their rooms and when two of our members were somewhere else, they offered to drive us up on the golf cart in order for us to get there. So that was cool. I told everybody that they should go to that resort.

Westgate is great. I choose them because of the rooms and the style in which the facilities are set up. There are outdoor activities for the kids. It's family-oriented. I've stayed there many times with my family and extended family for gatherings. It's a prime area in terms of real estate because they have a lot of outdoor stuff to do there. They have a lot of stores there as well, like Walmart and food stores. So it's real convenient for people who are traveling with family and kids. When I used to stay there before, there was the transportation to the park. But that has since gone away since COVID. The transportation was convenient for the people that are staying there. But other than that, everything else is fine.

Westgate was the least expensive. The check-in and check-out process went smoothly and they were very courteous. The entire experience was great. They were attentive and everything was clean. So, I was happy with our staff. We stayed at the Wild Bear Inn. We did all kinds of stuff while we were there. We did a lot of sightseeing. We did a lot of shopping. We were there mainly for the car show, the Rod Runs. They have one in the spring and one in the fall. The resort's location is fine. Everything is right there on the strip of Pigeon Forge.

The staff at the first Westgate resort we went to were very friendly. It was the one here in Florida, the River Ranch, and it was phenomenal. I live a lot of months here in Florida and I never knew about the place. The food could be improved a little bit. The steakhouse that they had was closed really early and it wasn't open on Sunday. So, that was bombing.
A lot of the activities in the resort were really good, although the time to do them or to reserve them was very limited. For instance, we couldn't do the hayride with the dinner included because I had to reserve by 2 o'clock, but I couldn't check in until 4:00. Other than that, the rodeo was really nice as far as the show was concerned. But the bull riders were a little pathetic. It was fun to watch, but I've been to better. Also, I didn't really see places to go out outside the River Ranch. It's pretty far out where there's really nothing attractive to do around. But the place itself had a great ambiance. It was very calming, so you really didn't need to go out. All the activities were before 5 o'clock or before 4 o'clock, which was okay. After that, then you just chill out and rest, which was what we were looking for. But if you're more of a party animal, there's really not much after 5 o'clock to do.

I texted the Westgate Resorts number that was sent to me. They had text back and forth that day before I traveled there. I sent them a text saying, "Hey, I'm an hour out." They said, "Okay, we'll be right here." Easy check-in, check-out process. We had a place that outlook the lake so sitting out on the porch in the morning, drinking coffee and at night was the only thing that we did at the resort.

The people who checked us in were nice and made sure we had anything that we needed. And if we needed any help with anything, they gave us a way to get in contact with them. The room had all the towels and all the coffee in individual packages. The next morning, we woke up and used those and the staff were kind to make sure that our consumables were refilled for us. The room was clean and there was nothing wrong or out of place. I would tell friends about the view that I had when I stayed at Westgate.

Everybody was friendly during the check-in and check-out process. Everybody treated us spectacularly. We also ate one night at the German restaurant that was located inside. It was nice. Considering there are no other options right there, about a mile or a half mile down the road, a little bit more American food on the menu would be great. But what we ate was good. I was also expecting to walk into a horrendous hotel room and I did not get that. We were pleasantly surprised. We were very pleased with the accommodations.

We were looking for a place that was close to stay at, and we wanted a water park. Westgate has a water park. We were also just gonna need a couple of days. I booked the reservation online. Then when I got over there, I went up to the check-in desk, got checked in, and got my instructions and the map of the place. For check-out, I just had to go up to the desk and turn the keys in. It was very simple. The resort staff was good. They had a really good variety of food. That was a nice plus there, having everything on site. We did the swan boats, the paddle boats, and we walked around sidewalks and rode the train.

I've been a Westgate owner for over 25 years and my last stay in Tennessee was great. There was amazing food and I liked the gym, the resort, the staff, and the check-in process. The pools were all clean as well as the apartments. It is what Westgate should be and not all the resorts are like that.

Westgate is not super expensive and they have a lot of amenities that the kids like. We did the water rides and the pool. We did bowling as well and the arcades, which weren't too crowded. I like an intimate setting. We get to enjoy it. Also, the lake view by the mini golf is beautiful. The resort is off the highway and there's not much traffic around that area. Westgate usually offers out-of-state residents a discount and it'd be cool to apply that to Florida residents as well. They also usually have these seminars which are not offered to Florida residents again.

I texted Westgate back and forth because I was driving quite a quite a bit of distance to their property. They were very open and I drove right to it. The check-in and the check-out process were very easy and the reps were very friendly. The location was away from the hustle bustle and was next to the lake. The reservation check-in and check-out process at Westgate was smooth, easy, and there were no delays. It was a very pleasant experience at both check-in and check-out. We also went to the restaurant for breakfast on three occasions and it was very good. We also found the location of the resort to be fairly convenient. It was right on the tram system, so it made it easy to get downtown and get around. We had no problems getting around from there.

We did the adventure park and it was age-appropriate for younger kids. But my kids are 12 and 13 so they're outgrowing a lot of the things that they have there. Since we were frugal and ran a budget, I didn't have my kids doing all the other things that Westagte had that was ala carte that costed money. There was the shooting and the disks in the sky, but they were too young for that. We didn't do the air bow. It was about $45 a person. We didn't do the horseback riding. That was a lot.
We were only there for two nights. But what we had and what we did worked perfect for us. It was great. We were very happy. If I had a problem, the staff was good. The only thing was that they said our firepit was gonna be lit on a certain time but it wasn't the first night. Then I called the next day and they did have somebody come out and light it earlier. But besides that, everything else was great. It was really a nice, refreshing getaway. It was perfect weather for us. They said they're building on to do more treehouses but that's a little bougie for us. The camping thing really seemed to work and we really, really enjoyed that. By the way, next weekend, I'm going back to Westgate in Orlando. I've never been in that one before. I drove past it. So, we're gonna see what that's like. I'll be there for three nights.

The property managers were friendly and attentive at all times. It is self-catering but a good amount of laundry and dishwashing supplies were provided, as were coffee pods for the Nespresso machine. The apartment was well set up with everything you’d need for a comfortable stay.

A friend of mine told me about Westgate and I took my kids there last year for my birthday and Mother's Day and I fell in love with it. I went to the resort and spa and the people there are super friendly and everybody is so welcoming. No matter who it is that we come across, they're always so nice and asking if we need help. Whenever you need service or room service, they always respond super quick and they always get everything to you.
I like that it has multiple pools and there's a lot of things you can do. It's not enough time in the day to get everything done. Also, it's always clean and it's a great location. It seems like everything is right around the area. It's real beautiful out there to me. The food is pretty good too. We went to a little restaurant that they have there and also got pizza from the little convenience store they have in there. I love every little detail about it. I'm gonna go back next month for my birthday again.

The check-in was great. It ran smoothly. The staff was good. The room was lovely. It was very convenient with the stove and the spacing. I was able to cook there. I also used the washer and dryer outside of the room that I share with a roommate. It's great that they had the restaurants there. However, I did not get a chance to eat there. I also like the way they ended up having certain activities scheduled. We got a chance to do the smores and I enjoyed it. They had staff there that ended up greeting us as we came. It was like a little fire. The staff was very professional and courteous. They were speaking with everyone and engaging. I like the facility and I would definitely come back to that location again.

Our experience at Westgate has always been good. The staff is really nice. The room is also really great, except when we got there one night, we didn't have hot water. The great thing is they have texting, so I just texted them and the staff immediately came up and fixed the water heater. I really like that. Westgate is a great resort, and we enjoyed it. We used the public golf and hot tub, and it was fun. We played Shuffleboard too. It was a nice weather and a good weekend.

I'm a big traveler and within the last two years of me doing my traveling, the Westgate at Myrtle Beach has been the best hotel. The staff was friendly and when I first got there, I was greeted by not only the people at the front desk, but the other people. Then, I couldn't find my room. I found one of the maids who was in Tower 1,000 and she walked me all the way to my room in Tower 2,000. Also, they tell you what's going on around the area and gave me discount passes to the restaurants that was on my side of my tower. There was a little minibar/club right across from my room and I was able to see the beach. Right across the street was a Fun World for kids we took advantage of. Downstairs was an arcade center and they had different pools for family. Everything was there. I literally had to just go downstairs. It was a good experience all around at Westgate.

Check-in with Westgate Resorts was good. But they tried to sell us stuff we were not interested in. They wanted us to buy into them. If we were not interested in that, why would they keep on going? Just let me check into my room and have a good time. Other than that, the rooms are very nice. The kids loved the water park. You would enjoy the staff. Anytime we called and needed more towels, they were on it. We enjoyed the experience there. If you wanna take your grandkids there, they would have a ball.

We came on a Sunday so it wasn’t as busy as it usually is on Saturday when we’ve been at Westgate. So it was easy. We’ve been there at least three times. One year, we had an issue getting in and another year, our friends couldn't get into the unit that they own so we had to wait and wait. But it's been decent. They’ve stepped up their game because this year, we ate at that new Italian restaurant and it was great. It was reasonably priced. We ate at that draft before. Usually, we don't eat there that much but some of our group had young children so it was nice not having to leave the property. They have a water park there at that Westgate and it was fun. I wasn't pleased with the check-in. I was told the wrong information when I booked it and it was a little bit frustrating. I was told a couple of things and when I got there, it was told to me that that wasn't the case. I was disappointed with the service. Also, when I was there during spring break, there was only one restaurant open and a general store where you could get stuff. But the pizza place was closed and there was a saloon that they didn't open. There weren't a lot of places to eat there, that were open anyway, and a lot of the parents were wondering why. The facility itself was beautifully taken care of. They had plenty of things to do for my son and we had a great time. But I would tell others to be sure of which part of the resort they actually are staying at and just get a real clear picture of that so that when they get there, they're not disappointed.

It's convenient to go to Westgate Resorts. During the reservation and check-in, the lines were a little long, but they were pretty efficient once you got through the line. We stayed there for two weeks and the weather wasn't the greatest, but we got to go use the pool and I enjoyed most of the amenities. We liked the putt-putt, too. But they didn't have any fishing boats ready you could go out on. Despite that, we had a good time and the room was nice. The people were also very kind to us.

I went to Westgate for one night, and check-in went smooth. The only thing is I asked specifically if the room I booked has some mirrors behind the bed, and the cashier over there said, “Yeah. That building, the rooms are like that.” When I went all the way to the back, there were no mirrors in the bedroom. I texted the text system and they said to go back to the front, but I was already tired. I thought, “You know what? I'm not gonna deal with that.” The room wasn't the one I expected, but it was good.

Westgate Resorts was convenient and we can't wait to go back. I had gotten the room off Priceline, and they told me that the room that I had reserved originally on Priceline wasn't available, so they upgraded the room without charging me. There was a long line at check-in, but it was 12 o'clock almost whenever we got there, so there was a lot of shuttles arriving from the airport. Everything was so fast and everybody was very nice. They were doing renovations at the time but everything was clean. They came and took the trash. We had soap and everything to wash our clothes. We didn't even wanna wash our clothes, but we ended up washing our clothes because the stuff was there. We had pizza and sandwiches at the mall strip. We had drinks at the bar too. We were satisfied even with the prices. We were expecting it to be super expensive.

I enjoyed my time at Westgate Resorts. I was there for my graduation at Full Sail University. The staff members were very nice and helpful. There were no waits. There were available staff to help out, to move the line along. It was quick. Even with the return of the holding fees funds, I got that back quickly too. The property was beautiful. I enjoyed my walks there. I spent some time at the pool which was also nice and very kid-friendly. I was very comfortable.
Disney World was not too far. The location was very convenient to other stores. The room came with a kitchen and there's a Walmart right down the street. If you're into walking, you can definitely walk from the suite to the Walmart. If you wanted to catch an Uber, it shouldn't be no more than six bucks because of how close it is. There is also a 7-Eleven. Whatever you needed, it was right there in the area. I recommended Westgate Resorts to a friend that was talking about staying down Miami. She inquired about where I stayed when I was in Florida. I told her Miami is about three hours away, but it's definitely worth staying there especially if they wanna travel to see other things.

When I checked in, I had a new person surrounded by a bunch of other new people, so it took a little bit of time. But it wasn't an extended amount of time and it was fine. The resort staff were very attentive and even the ones I wasn't directly dealing with were friendly. They were going out of their way to acknowledge me and see if there was anything they could do for me. I wanted to go to the heated poolside bar, but it was closed for the winter. So, that's understandable. Most of the outdoor stuff was closed too. I would recommend Westgate Resorts to people who like to do the condo thing. It was very clean, nice and in a good location to everything else. I have a favorable opinion of it.

The Westgate unit we have, which is one of our older units, has been in our family for 35 years. I inherited it from my mother. We used to go out as kids and pick oranges in the grove. The one thing we noticed that changed was that check-in was much quicker and easier now. That was really nice because we've had times when we had hours waiting to check in. The only thing is, we've been going down there all the time, and we didn't realize they had a dog park. So, they could have some more dog park signs but it was nice to learn they had a dog park.
As far as the room, they had an update. The accommodations were wonderful. Everything that we needed was there. It was very clean, and they were great at bringing more towels because we extended our stay. We took advantage of almost all the restaurants that were right on site. The Mexican was not my favorite. We were a little disappointed in it. Drafts was wonderful though. Overall, the staff was wonderful. It's a wonderful place. We did have friends visit there, and they were really impressed.

We stayed at Westgate Resorts before and enjoyed it. The lady was well-mannered. But they had way too much cinnamon in the air. I'm allergic to cinnamon. I told them about it and, “Can't do much about it.” Also, the beds were too high. I had to jump up to get on them. I'm 6’ 4” and my wife is 5 foot. I had to build a pedestal out of her luggage so she could step on it to get up on the bed. They were way up in the air. I felt like I was on the top of a bunk bed. Also, they could use a bigger TV. Wake up early and have fun.

I tried to do the timeshare presentation, but Westgate Resorts denied me. But I liked what I read about that resort. So, I booked two nights. The staff and the check-in was amazing. And there was a lot of people. It was a great time. I like the location because there was Whole Foods and that's like very me. And I loved my room. I wish the pools were more for adults. There were several pools. Why are there gates around all these pools? Other than that, I loved my stay. I had such a good time.

We were looking for a glamping trip and Westgate was close by. The check-in process was simplistic. We texted them and let them know when we were gonna be there within an hour of arrival. And then when we got there, we went into the lobby. We got a luxury teepee package. I bought it for my husband as a Christmas present, and my other girlfriend did the same thing. So, it was like a couple's trip, and we each had our own teepee, so it was spectacular. The package was all-inclusive. So, the events on the ranch came with the package we bought. They were very well done. We did the rodeo, which was on a Saturday night. We did mechanical bull riding, horseback riding, skeet shooting, paintball, and the escape room. The guys went fishing, and we did an airboat ride and miniature golf. It was grown-ups playing in a kid's world. We were four grown adults having the time of our lives. We were very pleased with it.
We tried different food options. One of the food options we tried right away was the one where we could order meat and we could grill it on our grill in front of each of our tepees. They brought us baked potatoes that they had already cooked. They brought us filet mignons, and we had vegetables, condiments, salad, and bread. They brought it in this big basket to our campsite. They light the fire for us, too. They brought us smores packages. It was super-duper cool. Plus each teepee had its golf cart to get around the resort. The teepee was incredibly roomy. It had a couch in there, and it was divided. It had a tripartition. There was the bathroom, the bedroom portion, and then the living quarters. We had a deck on the front porch with two chairs and a cooler, because they would come and put ice and snacks in the cooler each day. They did a very good job.

My experience with Westgate was very easy. The only problem I had was the computer went down for a minute for the payment process. But it was okay. It didn't delay more than a minute or two. They gave me the information that I needed and they were helpful as well. The room was way better than I expected, and definitely, I would choose to go there again. The room was spacious and comfortable. The utensils were there and the fridge was working too. The couch and seating were also good.

We stayed at Westgate in the past and have been very pleased. I saw those two weeks there and we jumped on it. The price was extremely right. In the past, it seemed like everybody was so strict about check in saying you can't check in until four o'clock. We were moving from one resort to another, so I went over early, and the young lady behind the desk was so nice. She said, “I think we can make it work for you,” and she did. I tipped her handsomely and we ended up with a lovely two-bedroom suite on Lake Sid there, and the ducks would come and visit us every day. The check-in couldn't have gone any smoother and quicker.
As far as the room, it looked like the inside had been renovated, but outside, it looks like it still needed some new windows, a new door and a little touchup here and there. Otherwise, the lake was breathtaking. They had their Christmas trees lit up at night, and that was impressive too. We love the Italian chop house. It's a little pricey, but it is good. We went there our first night and pigged out. We had a bottle of wine, and it was great, so I'd recommend that to anybody.

Westgate Resorts sent a text and said, "When you're on your way, let us know." That was new because of COVID. I did, and it was a very smooth transit. The laundry room door was off the hinges. But I didn't report it. The room was decent enough for what we needed it for. It was clean and spacious. When I called to request the extra pillows, it was delivered to my room in a timely manner. It was a very nice place to stay. The property is decently kept. I've stayed there before. If you're snoozy and you gotta have all five-star accommodations, it isn't the Westgate Lake. I'm sure they may have a different property. But when I'm there, it's with children and it's fine.

We go to Tennessee a lot and the resorts they have down there were really beautiful. The check-in has been very, very easy. That's why I keep returning to the same one. But they don't have a lot of food there. They did have a restaurant and I was hoping for that. But they never reopened it. I've done Dollywood and I really enjoyed that. My friends and I have done the sky lift. We've loved that. I also loved the roller coasters. The Sky Fly has been wonderful. I absolutely love the customer service. Donna and Kristen have been amazing. I seem to always get them. But just love them to death, which is another reason I continue to go back. They've been very accommodating.

My daughter, son-in-law and grandkids gave us a vacation at Westgate at Christmas time for January. We had no hot water in the first room we had so Westgate switched us the next day to another one. The room was a very nice, safe place and they had everything you’d want. We went to the restaurant and we also ate at their store where they serve pizza. Westgate is a great place to go to because everybody is nice. The place is well-kept and if there is a problem, somebody will take care of it right then and there.

The resort in Nevada was perfect for us. I was there on business, and it was not far from anything I needed. Plus, the staff was very friendly, and the resort has a fitness center and a pool. There's also a huge chess game in the area and my wife and I played it. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and we were very happy.

They have a good price. Everything was fairly well in our experience with them. As far as check-in, it was smooth. We left 12 hours early because of the inclement weather coming in and they were able to refund me a whole day. I was grateful for that. As far as the location, it's right there downtown and everything was within walking distance.

The staff were all pretty helpful. Everyone was very good except for the people outside who gave you your skis. I had two different rooms. For the first half of our trip, we stayed in a big suite, four-bedroom, for our whole family. It was older style but fulfilled our needs pretty well. It took us a while to find some of the stuff. More trash bags would be nice because if there was that many people staying there, you can go through trash a lot. Other than that, it was all right. The second room was a lot smaller. The design of the room was rather hard to manage. I didn't like it as much.
We tried the Draft Bar and it was one of the worst places I've ever eaten at. It's like American grill but they didn't have olive oil. All of the kids options were all fried. I asked if they could grill the chicken instead and they said no. There was no healthy option for children at all. We mostly cooked at the place because of that. The other resort was good. The Grand Summit Hotel had some good food options there. One thing about Westgate that I didn't like was that they didn't have daycare in the place, so we would go to Grand Summit.
Westgate did have the kid room, which we utilized, and that was nice. But the kids have to be with the parent. In an ideal world, the reason I choose one of these resorts and why people choose it mostly is because I've got young kids and they can't really ski full day yet. So I need to put them somewhere and they don't have that at Westgate.

We needed a hotel in the area for two nights and when we checked-in at Westgate, the process was very smooth and easy-peasy. They had very friendly staff and the stay was pleasant. We got a clean and warm room. Plus, nice beds. Also, the location is in downtown Williamsburg. So, it was close to where we needed to be.

I enjoyed the stay at Westgate. It was a beautiful property, the cleanliness was really good, and the staff was great. I got in from my flight early and check-in is at 3:00 or 4:00 but they had a room ready for me at 11:00. The only complaint that I have is guests were letting their dogs poop on the property and weren't picking it up. Also, I regret that I went when it was raining and I didn't get to enjoy the water park or the bike riding. But I would definitely go back and I would recommend it to friends and family.

Westgate Resorts is accommodating. The check-in and check-out process at the Orlando, Florida location was fast because we got there early. When we went to the one in Branson, it was snowing and we got there late late ‘cause the road wasn't that good. But they worked with us. Also, somebody was on a desk and gave us other stuff that we can use. Instead of buying tickets from outside, we could get tickets from there. As far as the food, the Orlando location has everything. The one in Branson didn't have anything, but they have list of stuff that you can order. They can deliver it to the room but we were on the road most of the time.

The customer service on check-in goes very smoothly. Also, that one has a pool and it would be good if you had kids. We come, wanna hang out at the beach, and hit local restaurants. It works. That hotel has been converted from an older motel. So, it's okay. There's no carpeting in the units, which makes sense because there's a beach nearby, but that also means that those upstairs, the noise carries well. That could be annoying. Last year, we did an owner's update and received gift cards, and within a year, we went to spend them only to find that they had expired. The resort said, "Sorry, there's nothing we can do about that," which is annoying because they were the ones that gave it. But thankfully, the company that provided them issued new cards, but to have the resort say, there was nothing they could do about it was annoying.
The food options were minimal because the kitchen was small, but we were okay. They were just not equipped in that location to have a large selection. What they have is good. It's just a small selection. Some of the other resorts have full-service restaurants and this one's was like a tiki bar with a small kitchen. They would do chicken wings, salads, and burgers. But the bar staff that runs the tiki bar were awesome. They had the right amount of chattiness with customers. They would take the time to get to know you, to know what we drink, and to make certain that we were satisfied with stuff. Both of the gals that have been there for a while have been there for several years, and they are fabulous.
Westgate Resorts tries to get us into the owner's update and upsell us on another week. The product could sell itself, but then if it did, they wouldn't have pushy people trying to get them to do a timeshare. And when they do a timeshare update, they would say, "This will just take like a half hour." But it would take an hour or two. And the whole game of getting to us and, "Why would you like to do this? What's your dream vacation? And blah, blah, blah." And they talk to us and get their manager to come and tell us what they could do for us. The sales process is sleazy.

We tried Westgate Resorts for one time and liked it. And I like that location where Westgate Blue Tree is because they got a lot of things within walking distance. After I got the reservation through Interval International, Westgate was very helpful, cordial, and courteous. I was treated very well. We had a two-bedroom deluxe. And it had a lot of room. It had exactly what we were looking for, and it made it easy to stay there. Also, they had four pools. So if the weather was better when we were there, we would have spent more time at the pool. But I enjoyed staying there very much. There's a number of Westgate locations there. So if you've got one in the area that you wanna stay in, I would stay in one. Earlier in the year, I got a room and it was a two-bedroom for some neighbors that like to go down in December to golf. So, I got them a room there and they enjoyed it too. They said it was very nice.

I previously went down on vacation, and the hotel that I was staying at was across from Westgate Resorts. The prices were reasonable. From the time I arrived there, even entering in, and when I went up to make my reservation, the customer service was excellent. They told me about the amenities and that they had to offer. And I did not have to wait long for the check-in process. They were friendly.
I loved my room. Since I was coming down there, my kids and I had dinner early Christmas. And it was the first time my mom and I spent time together. When we walked in, my kids loved it. My mom and I had our own bathroom, and my kids had theirs. I just loved the expressions on their faces. And I loved how clean the room was. I've been telling everybody to go there. It's worth it. Everything that you need is there, especially for someone like me. I love to have everything at an arm's reach.

The check-in is easy and quick and the amenities in the room are good. Also, they have good activities. We went to the one on the water park, one that had a karaoke one, and we're gonna go to the one on the River Ranch and Rodeo on River Ranch location.

I saw on Facebook where Westgate Resorts got three nights and four days. I subscribed to that through Epic Travels. When we got there, we began to enjoy ourselves. I enjoyed even the check-in. They had plenty of people at the front desk. I didn't have to wait long. All I had to do was show my ID and my card that I used. Everybody friendly and it was wonderful.
We did the villa which had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a balcony. When we went out, we went to the restaurants. It was good. There was bar in it and it was nice because we ate outside under an umbrella. We took the kids to the game room and they had fun in there as well. We got a chance to go to the water park and the lazy river. We also took the kids to the pool and the playground then we went to the store on site. We also rode the train. The only thing I didn't like about the train was it didn't stop on every side. When we went to the seminar, we decided to invest.

I stayed at Westgate Resort and turned turned down the offer to buy a time share. I was offered a vacation package for 945.00 for four stays which I purchased. I was given vacation traveler booklet with the booking info, Only to realize later on that the paper it was was only four four consecutive nights. Thanks Westgate.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We used the pool and all the slides. They had a concert and some games in the lawn to celebrate military appreciation. We went to the movies too. They cater in breakfast and it was good.

Everything went smooth. I was in the marines for 20 years, and Westgate Resorts gave me a free stay 'cause it was part of the Westgate Resorts Military Weekend. We did a 5k run there. We've accessed the pool before, and we were on the tennis court for an event. They had a field where they had a concert as well. They have different guests, and it was more of a country rock kind of theme this year.
This year, we paid to upgrade our free room. We've stayed there in the past and it's a mixed bag with the regular rooms. People could get a room that's not nice, one that's okay, or one that's not good. If people get more of a higher level room, they're gonna be more satisfied than getting a basic room. For the upgrade fee, we paid 500 for the weekend, so it was two nights. The pricing was fair for what we got for the size of the room. It was a three-bedroom villa and it was really nice. They put us in a nice corner room where we could be away from everyone, and I was quite happy about that. I don't think the food options are good, but the resort's close enough to the local attractions.

The Westgate Resorts in Orlando is in a perfect area. You could go to different restaurants and shopping areas. Anything you wanted, you could get. The walking course is fabulous. The staff was very receptive.

Westgate's customer service tends to focus on its clients. Everything was smooth. They do have security check-in gate cards, so I feel like it's a secure location. It's a great location. If you’re going to Orlando area, being from Tampa, it’s a good stopping place if you had to do anything over there in that area. As far as the food options, they had something for everybody. It was enough. They do have a few restaurants on location and restaurants within a five-minute drive. At the location, they do have good food selections. I did basketball, riding the swan boat, the dog facilities, and dog park. Those are some of the amenities that I’ve partaken in. Westgate does a good job. For the space that they have, they do a good job of making you feel welcome.

My most recent experience was very good. They do a lot for the military and they had a military weekend, free-of-charge. The reservations are good and the staff as well.

Everyone was nice at Westgate Resorts and the trip was good but the water park was a huge bust. They were renovating the water park and nobody ever told us that. When we arrived, the water park was only open from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and it messed up our entire stay because we had to plan our whole trip around those hours that the water park was open and have time to go and shower before going to dinner or going somewhere else. So, it was a huge inconvenience. The zipline was closed because of the season but we did the putt-putt and the park because we have little kids. And then, we would shop at the gift shop.
My in-laws brought their therapy dogs and they're very well behaved and well trained. When we took them outside or when they would take them outside, other people were not picking up after their animals several times. One of the times, my in-laws walked outside at 12:00 in the morning and it was dark, so they couldn't see. They stepped in poop and apparently, their dog stepped in poop too. When they brought the dog back into the room, the dog ran up and got on the bed. Then the phones wouldn't work. It was going in and out when we tried to call them on the landline. Thankfully, we were able to find another room. Where we stayed, it was two rooms conjoined. So, there was a phone in the closet in the other room. So, we hooked that up and we were able to get a good connection. So, we complained. It was 12:05 and they didn't even bring out sheets until 1:30. And that was after we had a call back down there.
I get that it's early in the morning. You don't wanna knock on the door. But if somebody is waiting for sheets to arrive, you would think you would at least call them, knock, do something, and let them know that the sheets are there. The staff simply set them in the hallway. That was not good customer service at all. We had already said people weren't picking up after the animals. Had we not given that information, I could see, but we had already told them that. Also, other animals were trying to attack the other dogs, like my in-laws’ animals.

Smoky Mountain was one of our favorite vacation spots and we love Westgate Resort. I love the big log cabin. We normally come around Christmas time and it's so beautifully decorated. It's close to everything too and we can go toward Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. It's a short drive especially if you go all the way up to the top of the resort and then down the mountain. That's convenient when traffic is bad. The lodging is very comfortable and we feel like we are home away from home because they have a great kitchen setup. We travel a good amount and they have a better quality bed. The bathrooms are nice and the unit we stayed at last time was luxurious. We chose Westgate for the comfort, location and all that they offer.
Checking in and out went very smoothly. They’re a very large resort and when we came, we knew that we were not gonna just walk right up. But it went very quickly. There was always somebody from the welcoming team who engaged with us while we were in line. The last lady we had was easy to connect with so we enjoyed chatting with her. The reps were very informative, friendly and efficient. You're in and out.
We ate at the restaurant that’s right by the welcome and we enjoyed it. It was good. We only ate there once because we like to eat at other places and we did a lot of the dinner shows too. We had great service and it was quick for the volume that they had that evening. We were served and waited on in a very timely manner. I would encourage people to book. This is the second year that we've come to Westgate at Gatlinburg and we wouldn't stay anywhere else. When we look at availability, we see what's available on their end and plan our vacation date around that because we love it. It’s very clean and we enjoy staying there.

I didn't like it feeling like a setup to hear more about the reservation. Because it was, go over to this desk or we couldn't move until this person came and got us to go over to this desk. I should have a choice. And if I say no, I shouldn't have to hear somebody else. Westgate Resorts could use a different approach. Because it's like, "We want you to wait right here before going or this person is gonna give you this other information." But they know what it is. Just tell me what it is or I’ll tell you, yes. I get that they're doing their best to sell. However, it's like a setup to me. And I didn't have an option to say, "No. I don't wanna go over there." I gotta listen to this deal. I've already paid my money to stay here. So, that's a bonus. Let me choose other things that I wanna hear. Other than that, the room and accommodation was great.

My parents have a timeshare and I stayed there six or seven years ago and went back. My mom did the check-in and I just walked in and showed them the ticket. They gave me the room number and explained everything to me. For the check-out, I dropped the keys and headed out. The scenic view from the cabin that we were in was nice and the amenities were pretty cool, although I didn't use any of them. Also, the location is very local and convenient.

We got rained out the whole week we were at another resort, and we were looking through online. I wanted my son to have a play area and a swimming pool. I looked into it and saw Westgate Resorts. The check-in and checkout process was awesome. The lady at the counter was very helpful and nice. She upgraded our room for us because we initially just got a one bedroom. Our son is one and a half. We didn't mind him sleeping with us but she was, "Oh, I'll just upgrade it for free and no charge." It was spectacular. The upgrade was from one bedroom to a two bedroom. She didn't have to do that, but it helped us because the crib could be in the other room.
We love the room. The only bad part about that room is, when you went in the main door, it squeaked on the bottom because they had a thing for snow or rain. Our one a half year old sleeps in a crib, and that was the room that we picked right there. It was hard getting out of the room when he was sleeping. As far as the food, we did order out and it was really good. I had a steak sub and it was really good. We got appetizers and pizza. The pizza was superb. The appetizers were a bit much for what we ate of them. The staff was awesome. Even the security guard was very nice. She was helping us find our room number. Although they gave us direction, I'm a tad slow. So, I wasn't positive where I was going but the security officer outside helped us.
Our experience was phenomenal. We really enjoyed that place. That kitchen was awesome. We love that kitchen. It was an open concept and we loved it. It was huge compared to the other resort we were at. We walked in and we were like, "What? Are you kidding me? We would rather stay here for a week than the other one." We would highly recommend Westgate Resorts. Our one and a half year old got to play out on the little patio type thing every morning and every evening. He loved it.

My best friend has timeshares at Westgate and she gave it to me as a birthday present. I just pay the fee. The reps made sure everything was great. I was given an upgrade but all of a sudden, they didn’t have one. But someone canceled and they gave it to me so that was nice. I loved it. It was a great experience too and I'll do it again.

Arrived at hotel to find a nasty hidden resort fee "surprise" of $141 for 5 nights. The Priceline reservation showed "paid in full" and if a resort fee was required upon arrival it would have been showing on a separate line item. The desk clerk gave me all sorts of attitude upon checking in and checking out about this as if I was stupid. A manager promised to refund 2 of the 5 days because of the inconvenience and said he would note my account. He never bothered to get back to me.

The resort staff is very courteous and they dress appropriately. The resorts are clean and they have nice amenities. We use their Putt-Putt golf and the swimming pool. If there's a volleyball net, we use that too. But I wish there were more locations on the west coast. Everything seems to be in the Orlando area.

We liked Westgate's price and where it was. It was close to us. We were moving, and in between, we needed a place to stay for two weeks. The reservation check-in and check-out process were marvelous. The food options were nice. The restaurants were nice. They do happy hours. We enjoyed that. I truly loved the whole time we were there. The place was beautiful. There were things to do in there. It was exceptionally nice. I would stay there again in a heartbeat if I had to.
The staff was excellent. They went out of their way. They were very nice. I haven't been to a place like this in a while and I travel. I was out of one thing and they were like, "No problem." I like the way that they connected with you because I got a text from them. I said, "Well, there's a text." I just tried it. I sent out a text back to the lady who texted me. From then on, we just texted. I don't know if that was what we were supposed to do, but she didn't say, “You're not.” She just said, "No problem. We'll have them over to you as soon as possible." They came right over with it. Everything was so smooth and easy. The people were so kind and genuine.

All the people that we worked with were very friendly, super helpful and very kind. It was a very good experience. The food options were minimal but what Westgate had was good. We enjoyed eating at both the little marketplace and they had a food truck on site. The location was convenient, which was what we were looking for. We were in Las Vegas and it was an off-strip location. If people were looking for something similar, I would recommend them staying there based on the location, the price, and the friendliness of all the workers or the employees that we dealt with. As much as we enjoyed staying there, I like staying right on the strip at a casino hotel property better. But if we wanted the opportunity to stay off-strip again, I would go back there.

The first five times we came to Orlando, we were paying off the timeshare. We got so comfortable at Westgate Resorts and it was familiar to us, and it was in close proximity to the town center and parks. We like the town center the best. My son and I took my three granddaughters out there and we had a great time. The kids loved it. They loved to stay.
When we went in the past, we would have the villas with the kitchen and the laundry room. So, the more recent was more cramped, but the whole family wasn't able to go because of jobs. We usually bring 10 people, but because it was such a small crowd, we decided to do the studio thing. Plus they wouldn't gonna charge me. And it was a spur-of-the-moment thing. So, that helped out, especially with the park prices going up. But we had a great time. The food is pricey, but you could get almost anything you want. The variety is there and the quality is good. We love the town center there. They have the water park and they keep adding to it, and the restaurants and game room. There are a lot of things for my everyone to do on the complex as well as a nice place to stay. We've been going there since 2001 and we always love it.

The Westgate Resorts hotel is a good place to stay in if someone's going to visit Williamsburg, Virginia. My daughter and I were touring the college and that was the closest hotel that had good reviews. We stayed there for one night, and everything was great. The room was a good size, and it was clean.

Westgate Resorts gave us a free room. It was nice. One man walked with us and showed us where we had to go. He offered to bring our luggage. I had a king with the Jacuzzi. We had it for one night then I brought the kids back the second night. The rooms were expensive that weekend. It was bike week. We did the trail for Halloween. The kids wanted to go to the water park, but we never got more information on the water park so we didn't let them go. I didn't know if we had to pay a fee for the water park. Also, the check-in process was horrible. The lines were extremely long. I was in line for over 40 minutes.

I had a great time with with Westgate Resorts. It was convenient. The location was close to Universal Studios. The resort looked nice and family-friendly. The overall stay was great. But some of the accommodations on the resort could have been free. We had to pay for most of everything that was on the resort. That was a little underwhelming.

I enjoyed my stay at the Westgate. It felt like I'm at home. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I also like the atmosphere. It's very nice. On both check-in and check-out, the process was quick and easy. I was very happy with the food. There were varieties that I can choose from. They also gave me a restaurant coupon for $10. I was doing some stuff around town. I had adventures. I'm very satisfied with the local attractions. I rode on a monorail. It's very convenient as well. You just walk out and you're right there. I love that they put a monorail. It was a lot easy to get to.

We had a great time at the Westgate. The process was easy when you book online. When you just come and straight in, it's a long line. The location was great. I was in Orlando. So, it was nice. I grabbed a little bite before I left. It was nice. They were selling stuff at the Westgate for a high price. Their food was high. It's like $4.50 for a drink. The overall cost was great. It wasn't that high for a room.

I like he location of Westgate Resorts. Checking in and checking out were super easy. It was fantastic. My wife and I were there for a work retreat. They had everything planned out for us. The location is amazing. The views from any room are amazing. Our view was fantastic. In fact, my brother and sister-in-law are getting married in Park City and the airport's an hour away. So, I recommended they get a hotel room for the night and tell them to stay at the Westgate. I really liked it.

Very nice place to stay. We were very happy with our room which was basically a mini condo. The resort had a lot of amenities and I would definitely stay at a Westgate Resort again. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.

They called us to take a look and see what they have to offer and I loved it. It's a nice hotel and they have everything there. We were at the one in Vegas and the check-in and check-out were super easy. It felt like it took me two seconds to do both. Also, we had Benihana's and we had breakfast at one of the restaurants. We tried just about every restaurant they had there and everything was perfect. We also hung out at the pool, had a few drinks, and played the slot machines for a little bit. The pool experience was exactly what we wanted and needed.

We had family members that went to Westgate and we had an opportunity to join as well. Our kids loved it. The location is very convenient. It's close to the parks and to the beach. There are a lot of activities to do. They have 14 different pools, movies, putt-putt and several restaurants now and they're all really good. They've improved a lot. We rode the bikes and we did the paddle boats. They're starting to plan activities on the weekends and the evenings with outdoor games and different things, depending on the season. We had a great time when we were there. The reservation was easy. We booked online, for the most part, 'cause we have the same week, and got there, stood in line, grabbed our keys and we were good to go.

The reservation check-in and check-out process with Westgate was smooth. We notified them about an hour before we got there, so when we got there, everything was ready for us. The resort staff were available and friendly. They answered our questions and there was somebody was there to give us directions. But they didn't have healthy food for me. They had salads but there wasn't a dinner menu at the resort that we were at. Other than that, the location of the resort was excellent. It wasn't too far and it had easy access to all the attractions. I like the fishing activities and that was a highlight for me from both times we went. The resort had access to fishing and the river boat which we paid for. One of the fishing places was on the resort itself while we drove to another point to reach the other one.

We went to Westgate Resorts and the presentation was good. We felt comfortable with it, so we got it. The overall experience was good. They were a great help. And the location was good. Back in 2007, I was meeting my brother down in Orlando, and I had nothing better to do. So, I went on a tour. I saw the Westgate Lakes, fell in love with it, and knew it would work out perfectly for my grandchildren. For check-in, I usually just check in ahead of time and walk right up, they give me my key. I have not had any problems with any of the staff. However, in Orlando, they were not all that professional. But the staff at Tennessee and the River Ranch were wonderful. I can't wait to go back to the River Ranch and Tennessee. I'm very satisfied.

They're a very nice resort and they treat you well. So far, every time I've used them, it's been seamless. I've had bad experiences checking in at hotels before and I haven't had that experience with Westgate. The staff members are very informative and ready to stop and help. Both times that we used Westgate Resorts, it was great. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. The food options were very good. The restaurant at the Smoky Mountain Resort was really good. The food and the service were good. We did the water park, and then we used the pools and the fire pits. We did ziplining and golf. It was a great experience. We enjoyed it very much.

Westgate Resorts had the best prices during the time, and the best value for what I was looking for. The young lady at the desk was very friendly. The staff had to bring me some additional towels after my granddaughter got into the pool. And everybody was friendly. The spa and pool were great. We went to one of the little events that they have for the children where they made slime. And we played on the park. That was one of our goals. If we went down there again, we would at enough time that we could stay and use some of the additional amenities and save some money rather than going to the theme park. The room was fantastic. It was a new room. It got remodeled. We only had one issue with it. The water pressure was not that great. But it was workable. I'm easy to please, so I didn't make a fuss about it because all the other stuff worked well.

Every time we walked past these two desks at Westgate Resorts, those people descended on us like hawks, asking us if we wanted to get $100 in free credit for food. We had to sit through a 90-minute presentation about timeshares. Except the time that they offered it, we couldn't do it. And they would only let us do it if we were a couple. My husband probably would have sat through it and got the information and said to me, “Is this something you wanna do?” But because I was in the conference, they wouldn't let him go. It had to be both of us.
A lot of people were there and going to a conference. If their significant other was there and they were willing to go, why wouldn't they let them go on behalf of both of them? The shower had multiple heads on it but they didn't work well together. I've been at other hotels that have more than one shower option and work more succinctly together. But the food was good. We ate at Benihana's and at the steak place. Also, my husband had a massage and said it was good.

It was very pleasurable from the check-in all the way through the check-out. Any staff at Westgate Resorts that we encountered was kind and helpful. All of the meals we had at the different restaurants, particularly at the Edge, were fine and very enjoyable. My husband enjoyed listening to the music and having some drinks at the bar in the casino area. He felt that the bartenders were knowledgeable and made the experience pleasurable. And I love being able to see Barry Manilow.

Westgate Resorts had a promotion, so since I had a vacation come up, I went ahead and tried it. The one I went to was in Florida. The customer service was good. They had a lot of stations that were open. We arrived there at 9 o'clock at night so I went through the line quickly. They were top-notch. However, the resort lacked the amount of EV stations that they had. They normally had two stations. They were very old and hard to operate, so I had to go to the Super Tesla station down the block, which is five minutes away. They need to get upgraded. They need some EV stations out there.
The water park was expensive. It paid for itself, but it was a bit up in price. That water park needs to be advertised as an additional price. On the website, it's not advertised as that. If they were to do that, it wouldn't be a surprise to the guests. Because when we got there, I thought we could go in. No, $25 a head. But they provided us with discount tickets to the Boston Lobster Feast, which was another 15 minutes away.
It's a big resort, so I didn't get the chance to do the paddle boat. That was far away from the water park. So, I went to the gym. I couldn't believe that this type of resort had a Smith machine in there. I worked out for a few, and that was the only amenities I utilized while I was there. Upstairs, we got some breakfast. The only thing I got was a virgin piña colada. It was so-so. The bartender was new. She was in training mode, so it wasn't up to our standard. But the rooms were spectacular. Everything was clean.

I play a lot of card games, and one of them is called Flesh and Blood. I went to Westgate Resorts for the national championships, and the venue was nice. The food options were decent, but a little pricey for what they were. Overall though, it was still good.

The Westgate Resorts in Las Vegas was very convenient, and the check-in and check-out process was very easy and streamlined. We arrived late at night so there were no other customers there. Also, I was pleased with where we were. We still needed the taxi, but it was in the middle of everything we were looking to do. One of the days, we got the monorail tickets and rode a train around. It got confusing in some of the other hotels when we got off and on, but since we had cellphones in our pockets, we couldn't be too lost for too long. I had a good time all-around with Westgate Resorts as well. We did the pool. They just had one pool that had a nice cabana we could rent, and there was a bar and grill out there. It was nice. We also did one of their restaurants and I was pleased with the food, but then we ate out a lot.

We agreed to a 90 minute Congress to lower our price of our room for two nights ..we spent over two hours and was escorted out the back of the building only to be told at 5 closing time that we did not complete the tour so we were being charged the original amount..no food places were open. The pools were closed and it basically was the biggest waste of money and time.. No one seems to be accountable to resolve an issue. It's all just pushed off to another department and none is on the same page as I can tell. So frustrated and mad I spent my weekend like this and got overcharged...Beware.

We went to a scrapbooking event at Westgate Resorts' Branson location. It was very accessible. If you were going to Branson proper to go to the shows, you would have to have a vehicle. But for what we were doing, it was very convenient. We were about four doors down from where the event was. We made the reservations online and everything was good. The resort staff was good. They were all very professional. It’s a nice place. I did not know they had Famous Dave's right there, but what we ate from the caterers that were affiliated was good. The scrapbooking went very well. They had an issue with their ice machines. They would bring ice to us in bags. They were very accommodating. I wanted to go to the swimming pool badly. It looked very nice, and the prices were very reasonable. Overall, Westgate was a good value for the money. They have nice rooms.

I had a good experience with Westgate. There was only one experience that wasn't good and I reported it. They had a driver that was hitting the bumps really hard and driving too fast. Also, the food options weren't too good. I went out and got food. Another thing was my cabin was a front cabin and I would rather have had a back one where I could just see the mountains. The people around me saw bears, but I didn't.
Other than that, I like the trolleys. They can take you to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge and that was a plus because normally when I go to Pigeon Forge, I have to drive around. It was great that I didn't have to drive to places. I did water aerobics at the times that they offered every morning and I really enjoyed that, even though I had to get up early to do it. I did the hot tub Whirlpool every night. The hot tub was great after a long day of walking places. And overall, I really enjoyed myself. The service was great. I would definitely love to go to Westgate again.

The reservation process was annoying due to the fact that first, my wife had to pay upfront money. Then when we were about to check in, the receptionist again requested a credit card to hold some money. I didn't like that. The resort was just like any other resort. I wasn't impressed.

I would book at Westgate Resorts again. It's a good resort. All of their amenities were nicer than some of the others. Also, the staff was nice. It was my first time being there. I had multiple questions and I kept calling. They always had an answer for me and they were polite and friendly. Checking in didn't take long. Other people checked in as well. But the line moved fast because they had multiple workers and checked out to drop the key in. That was great. I thought I would have to get up early to stand in the line and check out. But the drop-off by the gate was good. Also, the food was good. The only place I tried was the pizza place that was inside of the little store. I also had some of the ice cream, which was also good. I went by the pool. I also did the little paddle boarding. Those were also good.

My reservation for my stay at Orlando's Westgate was made through the Vacation Traveler's Club for Saturday, September 2 - Saturday, September 9. We received this booking because we were not ready to purchase a timeshare from Westgate and wanted additional time and experiences before making such a big decision. Through the booking process my husband spoke to numerous people about the check in time as well as any further responsibilities required of us, such as another presentation, a sales pitch, etc. We were told every time check in is at 4:00 pm Eastern Standard Time and there are no further requirements. I live in TN and I planned my morning and drive time around check in. I woke up Saturday morning at 3:00 to leave my home at 4:00 am. This would put my family in Orlando around 1:00 to enjoy lunch together at Tijuana Flats, pick up the groceries we'd need for our stay and check in.
We arrived at Westgate at 3:30. A little early; however many people were already checking in with us. A young man helped my husband (We didn't get his name). He was kind and explained our room is not ready yet but it is before 4:00. "We'll let the staff know you're here, and you'll get a text when your room is ready. At that time you can pick up your keys from our concierge desk." He did say the room should be ready by 4:00 as that is check in and if we would like any updates to come see him directly. (Wish I got his name - wonderful customer service).
We hadn't received a text message by 4:00 so we returned. The line to check in was even longer, and we didn't want to wait in that line or cut ahead of another family. We approached Guest Services where we were told, "We can't help you, we only schedule tours here." I thought that was extremely odd as directly across the lobby there's a desk/area for tours. Maybe Westgate should correct their signs or help their employees know what they do. Nonetheless, she told us to go stand behind the family he was currently helping. The same gentleman wasn't able to help us, but a lady by the name of Genesis did. She pulled up our reservation and said housekeeping is done but the room needs to be inspected now. It should be done within the hour. Do you not trust your housekeeping staff or why are we inspecting the room? She apologized and sent us on our way. I found that to be extremely poor customer service but let it go.
With groceries in the car (in Orlando in 90 degree heat, my child, and my sister - which if you're wondering after this experience she won't purchase a timeshare either) we decided it was best to drive around. It's either waste gas or waste food. We drove around Westgate property for an hour. Found our building. Found numerous staff members standing outside of the building every time we drove by. 5:00 rolls around and we haven't heard an update. I am furious. I feel like I've been getting the runaround and lies for the last hour and a half and I'm done. My husband and I walked into the lobby and were immediately asked what we needed. My husband responded, "We're still waiting on our room, we really need to know what's going on and when we'll be able to get into it."
She directs us to a young lady at concierge desk. I don't remember her name but she is from Puerto Rico. She was struggling to find our reservation and asked another woman to come help her. Unfortunately, I don't remember her name either but she's from Colombia. The woman from Colombia was able to find our reservation and said "yea your room is not ready yet". Callous, cold, unprofessional....I said okay. "What time is your check in?" She first ignored the question and spoke to my husband. I asked again. She then looked at me and said 4:00. I agreed, "Yes the website says 4:00 and what time is it now?" Again, she ignored the question and spoke to my husband. I asked again. She simply looked at me. No response. I told her what time it was. It was shortly after 5:00 (exactly what time I do not remember now). I proceeded to explain the situation we were in and my frustration.
This employee from Colombia continued to interrupt me and speak over me. I asked her to not interrupt me. She continued. I slammed my hand down, open palm, on the counter and said, "Do not interrupt me!" At that she walked away!! Horrible Customer Service! Not only did she leave a co-worker who needed her help she walked away from a customer. Had she stopped talking for one minute and listened to me, I would have asked for a manager. She didn't even come back with a manager or anything! She completely walked away. No resolution. No communication. Nothing. Terrible. I cannot believe Westgate allows their employees to treat people that way. The young lady from Puerto Rico listened, showed empathy, did not interrupt, had a caring tone, and pointed me in the direction of a manager. She took the time to listen! That's all the woman from Colombia needed to do.
Jeffery was the manager we spoke to. I realized when speaking to Jeffrey that Genesis, the lady from earlier, is also a supervisor. Genesis leaned over and asked, "Their room still isn't ready?!" Jeffrey looked at her and asked in return, "Why wasn't this room given to them?" "I'm sorry, what!?" Genesis, a supervisor, could have done what Jeffrey just did for me an hour ago! I said all of that to say worst check in experience ever and ultimately it was because of the woman from Colombia and Genesis why I will not be purchasing a timeshare. I understand I shouldn't have responded the way I did, and I own that; however the nonsense from Genesis and then the unprofessionalism from the concierge desk is unacceptable from an employee representing a business - and Westgate allows it!
This experience was shared with Westgate while we were there. All they did was lower the price of a timeshare to try to get me to buy. Pathetic. They don't care how you're treated. Moving forward with that, on Sunday my husband received a call confirming our appointment for Tuesday. The appointment we were assured wouldn't happen. My husband explained Tuesday will not work and we're pretty upset, we won't be purchasing. At that time he was told we just need to come in, share our experience, sign some paperwork declining, and the paperwork has to be notarized. The appointment was moved to Monday at noon with Gamma. That was all lies, too. We did have to sit through an hour long sales pitch, after explaining multiple times we are not interested. Gamma pulled in a second person to try to sell to us. It didn't work. She didn't ask about our experience at all.
We had to remind her we've had an awful experience with Westgate already. If you're told I've had a terrible experience already (in one day) that should be the first thing you ask about. Not showing me all your properties and benefits. Again, not actively listening to your customer. I see where the front line customer service representatives get it if the upper management can't figure it out. To top it off, Gamma insulted my husband! He is a writer, and one of the top writers and sought after writers in his topic and what he does.. She had the audacity to ask how it is living with him because writers are kind of psychotic and coo coo. Are you kidding me?! This isn't Secret Window with Johnny Depp. It's real life and my husband! Furthermore, the gentleman she brought over said Westgate doesn't partner with the Vacation Traveler's Club anymore ..But wait, there's more!
The third person that came to my table (yes they are that pushy and really don't listen) offered me another week through the Vacation Traveler's Club! Comical. Listen fellas, if you're going to be dishonest, at least collaborate better. By the way, when that entire charade was done, the only document signed was one stating we took a tour. Nothing was signed saying we declined and nothing was notarized. Sketchy? Lies? I think so. So now, to the room. We stayed in room 5551-A in the 5500 building. A two bedroom condo with a view of Disney. First thing we noticed was the air conditioning unit and the hot water. Every time the unit came on there was a loud pop or thud kind of noise. It was difficult to ignore and if you're a light sleeper....Well you can only imagine. I'm guessing the hot water heater is tankless as it took 10 - 15 minutes to get any hot water.
I was shocked to not have a smart TV in an updated room.. And the guide situation was a mess. Along with that, the coffee maker. In an updated room I would expect to find a newer coffee maker. Not one that makes the fire alarm go off! Yes this old janky coffee maker set off the fire alarm. That was the only thing in use at the time it went off and I stopped using it after that. The dishwasher filter was absolutely disgusting. I thought the rooms had to be cleaned and inspected? This filter hadn't been cleaned in months. There was a white slimy film on it, food and hair stuck in it. Mold growing.. and yes all of that spraying on your dishes. Yummy! I cleaned it. If you can look past all of that, yes the room was nice. The large whirlpool tub was wonderful.
The amenities are okay. Multiple pools. It'd be nice if the water park stayed open later. It's nice to have the variety of restaurants; however, don't advertise room service and delivery because that isn't true. Also, the restaurants may want to update their menus. We tried to order pizza and couldn't call to order it, we had to go down there. What we wanted (based on their menu online) was no longer available, their menu changed. They had printed menus but nothing updated online. It's easier to update online than print all those. The grills were great but a little sketchy. The knobs were so loose and falling off you couldn't tell if the grill was actually on or not. Not safe, especially for a gas grill. Will Westgate do anything about this experience or just say another apology and use this for training?

Westgate Resorts gave us a choice of the different places we can go. We have a package where we have every other year full-time thing. Then I also had signed up for the Westgate Cruise & Travel. We've used it every year. They have a number of things there on the site. We've gone primarily to Westgate in Kissimmee Florida. Westgate Towers is what it's called. They've got the pools. They have recreational facilities there for children. We participated in the exercise gym. We've gone to different resorts. Each one has something unique to that particular location.
Westgate did have a resort in Mississippi once, but that one closed. It was in Tunica, and that was close to where I grew up. I grew up in Mississippi. The very first time we used a Westgate property was when we did the Tunica location because I was going home. That one was right off of the area where the casino is down in Tunica, Mississippi. My wife was not in favor of this because she thought it was a rip-off. The reason why I bought it was because I wanted to travel and I didn't wanna pay the regular freight for travel cost, and Westgate has fulfilled all of my needs as far as that is concerned.
We were gonna go to Hawaii and we still haven't got that done, but that's because Westgate doesn't have a property in Hawaii, but they do kind of piggyback off of other resorts. So, you can go. In general, I've been very pleased with Westgate. It's been a good purchase. Three years ago, my wife and I drove all the way to Park City, Utah and we enjoyed that. I played golf out there. Everywhere I go, I play golf. I played golf in Cancun this year. That wasn't Westgate property, but it was Westgate Cruise & Travel. We would have never gone there had it not been for our purchase of this Westgate thing. We enjoyed the heck out of that. S

The reservation process with Westgate is easy and the reps have everything ready for you when you go to the desk. It’s not losing time. I've been in two locations and both of them are in Orlando. I bought the property for 33,000 but it’s more expensive now. They gave me that price during the pandemic when I visited them the first time and they held on for me for two years.
The apartments are beautiful as well as the other amenities but the food options are very limited. The one on Lake Road has a nice water park and I enjoy seeing my kids enjoy. So, for the water park, the amenities are good. They have a sauna and massage. They got the whole nine yards. I went to the spa and had a good time with my family. I recommend people to buy a timeshare because it’s 526 a month plus 1300 every year for maintenance. But it’s worth it if use them more than five times a year. I have unlimited reservations. I can go any time. I have to call one week before, reserve and they’ve my apartment for me.

I really loved Westgate Resorts. Everybody was helpful. I enjoyed the food options. They have salads, chicken, and buffalo wings. They had a range of options. We went swimming, we went to the water park and the activity center, and made bracelets with my daughter. We went to the smores, but they ran out of the chocolate and the Graham crackers, so we got a burnt smore. I wanted to do the paddle boat, too, but because the hurricane was coming, they didn't allow that. I enjoyed all the activities I did.

Have been LIED to multiple times from 80-90% of their employees. Every presentation we have attended ended up being a seminar on lying. The Resorts are pretty nice but our Maint. Fees are getting OUT OF CONTROL. WG Cruise & Travel is a BIGGER scam than the resorts though. DO NOT book anything with WGCT as it is a nightmare and extremely aggravating. We were asked to upgrade to get free resort and cruise certs and did it. Lol, Resort dates are never available when we want to use them, hotels are usually cheaper on Expedia, and HOLY FREAKING COW what a nightmare trying to schedule a cruise. Just for giggles went out to EXPEDIA and again FOUND CHEAPER PRICES. This is started to become slightly comical to me now but it still very upsetting. We work hard for our money and wished we would have found a more honest company to do business with.

PLEASE DON'T STAY HERE! They don't care about their guests! They are forcing us to check out in the middle of HURRICANE IAN!! They didn't accommodate my kids and my family for even 1 day!!! They didn't even allow us to check out late!! They are greedy and ruthless and will leave you out to die unless you pay thrice the amount at which you booked their room!!

Criminal crooks. Thought we was getting a really good deal. Was told we had three years to take the five vacations. We paid $300 down out of the 1295. Found out a couple weeks ago that four of them had to be taken in 18 months. That’s not what I was told when I got them. You have 10 days to cancel. This was done in April so therefore they say they can’t cancel it. I am not making my other payments and they will not refund my money so don’t do it. I told them they are gonna get nasty reviews because they’re not willing to refund my money.

After taking home the package they provided, I checked the info and It didn't was how they present. I called day after the contract sign to cancel and they didn't know what to do to processes a cancelation.

My wife and I were approached by Westgate employees and told we would attend a 90 minute sales presentation and for our participation we would receive a 3 day/2 night vacation and $120 gift card. My wife and I had time and decided why not, what's 90 minutes. This was one of the worst decisions we EVER made. This presentation went on for over 8 hours. After numerous attempts at leaving and telling Nick we couldn't afford to pay the down payment, he continued to try and sell to us even going as far as putting our $120 gift card and telling us he would pay half of the down payment if we came up with the other half. He also told us it was illegal what he was doing. He literally pocketed our gift card and money we give just to try and get it over with so we could leave. After going to the final paperwork we finally had an opportunity to let upper management know what was going on in which we found out we didn't need a down payment. Westgate is a horrible business. This ruined our last day of our honeymoon being stuck in a room for 8 hours. NEVER AGAIN!!! KEEP FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!

Westgate has been a nightmare to be involved with. We feel misled by this company. We have reached out to them requesting to cancel the contract with them. We have been sent to collections. We have waited for ages for a response from Westgate. When they do respond, all they say is this is a contract and essentially we signed it. They claim to have reviewed our concerns and complaints but have not given an acceptable solution to the issues.
Most recently, we received a letter from them apologizing that we did not agree with them and stated they will give us the same answer any time we reach out to them. For that reason, we are reaching out to you. Please lead us in the right direction for some assistance. This is not something we can financially continue to contribute to. We aren't interested in owning with Westgate any longer. They have been increasingly rude to us and trying to pressure us into upgrading. The fact that a company can't recognize that the economy has changed and people are struggling is disheartening. Please assist. We are looking forward to your response. Thank you.

We were offered huge savings on our tickets to Anakeesta. Overall we saved about $200! We went to view the property in the Smokies/Gatlinburg. We had breakfast and met with a person that showed us the resort. We were not ready to purchase at this time. No high pressure, in and out in the promised time frame. Great experience and we will do this again when we come back next year!

Dealing with the customer service is a nightmare. FINAL STRAW.... This is why I wrote this review. I asked a simple question of what number to call if I did not receive a refund. At that time Travis, the customer service rep told me that I should have received it. So I asked again if there was a number to call if it wasn't there. Again, he said I was refunded. I said, "Ok. But if I go back and look at my bank account and it is NOT there, can you give me a number to call?" He said, "YOU would have to contact your bank." I explained to him that his company does the refunds, not my bank. AND HE HUNG UP ON ME!!!! Thank God I cancelled. This was the 4th time I dealt with their awful customer service.
First time they booked me a month early. Second time they increased the rate over $60 a night for a 6 day stay because the price now increase and they could do anything about honoring the first rate. The second rep (who was kind) told me she was looking for a new job because the system is a nightmare and she could see where the first individual booked it wrong. But was still not able to honor the price. Third time. I told the rep the price increase was too much and I needed to cancel. I could not understand her. Which made the conversation complicated. Final was with Travis.... and I just wanted to make sure the reservation was cancelled since I never received a cancellation email from rep #3. I did get an email when I cancelled the one for the wrong month from rep #2.
If you truly record your calls, like it states while you are on hold. LIsten to the call with Travis at Approximately 1:58 CST. I called the 1-888-808-7410 number after attempting the other local numbers that kept me on a loop of punching 3-4 numbers before taking me back to the main menu. Those looking for relaxing stay....Find a different company with better customer service that won't stress you out. Kind regards to those who read this post.

Saturday, March 27th: Water on the floor of the Master Bathroom and had spread from shower stall into the toilet closet. Water on/in the jacuzzi tub. Called Housekeeping and maintenance came with plunger thinking it was a clogged toilet. Figured out it was not and didn’t know what the problem was (thought maybe housekeeping spilled water and forget to clean up). Maintenance requested housekeeping to come in and clean up water. This was completed 1.5hrs later.
Sunday Night, March 28th: At 1:15am, we were woke up by the sounds of running water coming from our Master bedroom shower. I investigated and found that there was running water coming out of the light in the shower and more water coming out of the ceiling above the jacuzzi tub. I called Housekeeping and they sent a maintenance worker to investigate. He said it must be a plumbing issue and that he would go upstairs and tell the people to stop using the shower and/or tub because of the issue in our room. He also said that he would contact the plumber in the morning to work on the issue.
While we were standing in the kitchen area, we both heard running water coming from the locked door that houses the mechanical unit (furnace and AC unit). He opened that door to find the ceiling had partially collapsed and there was standing water under the mechanical unit. He said this was a serious issue and it would be taken care on Monday morning.
Monday, March 29th: We decided to go to the beach this day, because we assumed the maintenance workers and plumber would be in and out of our room fixing the problem. When we arrived back to our room at 6pm, there were no notes or voicemail left for us and the floor was yet again wet. I called at 7pm and they said a maintenance person would be right down as this was a high priority. After 30 minutes, no one had arrived. I called again asking for a manager and was told that ‘Manny’, the manager would be down within 10 minutes to see what was going on. Manny never showed.
At 7:45, a maintenance worker showed up, again with a plunger, to resolve the issue. After seeing what we were talking about, he filled out a form using his phone describing what was occurring and that a plumber needed to resolve this issue in the morning because of the safety concerns. He stated that we should not use the master shower or jacuzzi due to electrical shock issues until this was resolved. He did not have a key to open the locked mechanical closet and apologized for this but said they would look into it the next day.
Tuesday, March 30th: By noon, we had not heard anything from the resort and no one had shown up, so I again called and asked for a manager. After a 10-minute wait on the phone, I was told that ‘Carlos’ would be arriving at my suite to see what was going on as, they can see online that an issue has been ‘filed.’ We wait the day and still no one shows up. Tuesday evening as we are eating dinner, we hear water leaking out of the locked closet and again call. Maintenance sends someone down, who again does not have a key to the closet but says a plumber will need to fix this issue and says something is already on file about this. He cleans up the mess with towels and leaves.
Wednesday, March 31st: We wake to water running out of the light in the master bedroom shower and out of the ceiling into the jacuzzi tub. And now there is mold and bubbles in the paint on the ceiling from where the water has leaked through. Now mind you, we have NOT USED OUR OWN SHOWER OR THE JACUZZI SINCE MONDAY.
We feel that these issues and the fact that they were not resolved in any way for the safety of the occupants puts us a great risk. In every step of the process to try and resolve this issue not only for us but for future occupants, we have found that there is a lack of concern, follow through and communication from every person we’ve spoken to. Not only is the customer service aspect lacking but the housekeeping aspect shows little care and motivation in making sure they do a job to completion with a focus on cleanliness (i.e. floor soaking wet with standing water when we arrived, lightbulbs not working, handprints on the sliding glass door, telephones with no directory of resort listings, etc…).

Check in was late. We got our room keys to our 2bdrm villa with jacuzzi tub. Upon entering room smelled damp like mold. Floors were wet. I have a family of 8 so this smell was crazy. Now it's after 10pm and half way through our showers and baths raw sewage started coming up through the drains and toilets. The smell was horrendous???. So I go back to Welcome Center and request new unit. The 90 minute tour was 4 hours. No one cared about our stay. Only making money. I do not recommend. We were given $75 in Westgate vouchers but that's nothing when we have 8 guests and a drink there is $5.

We first visited the Westgate Lakes property in Orlando because we were gifted a trip by our daughters. While there we were told to attend a one-hour meeting to learn more about ownership with their company. No matter how many time we told the staff during this meeting, which was far longer than one hour, that we did not want to make a purchase because we were on the verge of retirement, they kept pushing. After 4 hours, we felt that we had no choice but to accept one of their offers and give in to their demands. When we returned home, we discovered that we did not own at the Lakes property, but the staff had switched our purchase to the Westgate Palace location without our knowledge or consent.

We booked a stay at the Westgate Resort in Gatlinburg for a 4 day weekend with their promotion discount as long as we attended their 2 hour sales pitch. After reading the reviews we decided to cancel our reservations. So far in one day we have called 3 times and have no such luck at getting the booking canceled and getting our money back.

Originally visited Branson and bought our second time there. We recently spent Christmas in Myrtle Beach and upgraded (as we are starting a new family tradition). Our experiences have been excellent so far! We have 2 bookings already this year: Valentines in Branson, and a Summer vacation in Mesa, Arizona. What I recognize already is to make it worth it you need to plan ahead, and pay more toward your principle on the mortgage. So far so good!

I have owned a lock off unit at Westgate villas and resort in Kissimmee for many years. Last year I noticed the rooms were dirtier than usual. The carpets were filthy. This year the carpets were black with large black and sticky dirty spots in both units. There was blood and other bodily fluids on one mattress and there was no mattress cover concealing this filth. I was disgusted. When I complained, someone dropped a mattress cover at the door and left. The cable went out, and it took two days to repair. I sanitized the leather couches, and they were also filthy. Someone shared with me that there was very little cleaning being done. I told them in their review that I would never again upgrade my units and if this continues, I will rethink my active ownership.

We have had nothing but terrible experiences with Westgate Resorts from the beginning. When we met with the sales staff, they neglected to tell us about maintenance fee increases, taxes that we were responsible for, or the true nature of the loan that we were roped into. We sat down to sign the paperwork and were never given the opportunity to read and understand the paperwork that we signed. To make matters worse, every time we visit one of their properties, we are subjected to the same high-pressure sales process as the first time. We have tried to contact Westgate directly to resolve this in a professional manner, yet they have never bothered to respond. Stay far away from this company! They are unprofessional and unethical!

Complaint Summary: The biggest issue we’ve had over the years is that the HOA/Maintenance fees continue to rise. We were not told that these fees would continue to rise every year and would not have agreed to purchase if we knew this from the beginning. We have had trouble booking a trip when we are able to go. We have tried several times to book a vacation and it never seems to be available when we are looking to vacation. When we try to book and find a time to go there are many other fees to pay on top of the HOA fees we already pay to them. We were told we had, “unlimited,” vacation opportunities open to us as owners. We were told this was an investment; however, it has only caused us and continues to cause us financial stress & harm. When we chose to vacation through Westgate Resorts in Mississippi- as we were told we could do- the resort was EXTREMELY run down & disgusting.

We first visited their Kissimmee location to use a unit that was owned by a family member. Upon check in, we were told that we had to attend a mandatory meeting. We left that meeting believing that we had purchased a rental property that would allow us to make a substantial income only to find that to be untrue. Since then, we have continued to ask questions about how this would work but no one has ever answered our questions or even attempted to address our concerns. We even asked an employee how we could file a formal complaint, but no one would give us that information. Beware of any interactions you have with this company. It is very difficult to get a straight, honest answer.

My family and I stayed at Westgate Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC. On 10/09/20 -10/11/20. We Arrived at 9:50 pm. I thought I was in Motel 8 or Motel 6 instead of a Westgate Resort. My family and I were subject to excessive strong inhalation of Marijuana odor on the first night at a rate of $174.44 per day. The next day 10/10/20, at approximately 7:00 pm. It was the worst. I was so disappointed that I had to call 911. The Myrtle Beach Police Dept. to control the Marijuana used at the Resort. Also, there were NO ACCESSIBLE Parking - No types of Parking available. Just coming home from a weekend getaway for my son’s 16th bday. Came across this resort that advertised $99 for a 3 night 4 day room just had to do the 90 min tour. I jumped on it because it just worked for us. We stood at the Westgate Orlando and upon arrival to our room it had a bad mildew/Mold smell. I complained about it and I’m not a complainer. They sent housekeeping to the room with a spray to wipe the counters. I was to happy at the time and was ok with that. I figured the humid Florida weather was the reason for the smell. Everyday walking in the room the smell was still there. Smelled like a damp basement.
Now this is where it gets interesting, Sunday comes around now me and my husband sit through 2 1/2 hours of them trying to sell us a dream. I was told repeatedly to have a open mind. I did, I heard what they had to say but I wasn’t interested in paying for a room that I would barely use and my first impression wasn’t the best of the place. Fast forward after repeatedly saying no, now here comes the attitudes. Back to the room I go and had to find this horrible smell and we found it. The wall by the refrigerator was covered in black mold. The whole wall.
Now I’m freaking out because of course, I find it the last day we were there. We slept in that room 3 nights breathing that in. I will place a complaint everywhere I can because to act like I was crazy for smelling something that I knew was there was not right. Westgate what a freaking joke. You sell families a dream that puts them in debt and you can’t even handle the rooms. Get it together. Don’t ever stay at room 6035d at the Orlando lake location.

This place is the worst. They move my room three different times because of the service and by the way no bellhop so you have some of your luggage by yourself. Been waiting three hours for a remote. This hotel went down the drain to the point that even the manager can’t help. The people working here are very lazy and Lisa from housekeeping is the worst. I waited two hours for a remote and then found out she just put it in 13 minutes ago. They can never get another dollar for me so I hope you think about it before you come here.

Time Shares are always not what they say they are. Promises are made and broken all the time. But right now during this National Pandemic, This particular time share does not want to help the customer in any way. If you are in a state that is under quarantine and you can not go to the Westgate vacation, they will not make any accommodations to help you. They will still make you pay an additional fee, after paying your HOA fees and threaten to "put you in foreclosure" no matter what your circumstance is. I have owned here for over 30 years and never really been happy with the resort. But unfortunately you are locked in. Very disappointed with the customer service that they provide.

Good morning. Maybe this email has no concern to you. I'm a healthcare worker. Who decided to take his children on a getaway. I'm currently staying at the resort. I checked in on 06/25/2020 a little after 3pm. I bought groceries. Put them in the refrigerator. We went to the pool. Came back around 6pm. Children were hungry. Went to the fridge and found out it wasn't working. I called the front desk. They sent a maintenance guy up almost 30 to 40 minutes later. He came supposedly he said the issue was fixed. At 830 I checked the refrigerator again and it still was not keeping the items cold. Now it has been a little over 5 hours that my groceries has been in the refrigerator not being chilled. I called the front desk they said they will send someone up. They came. Acted like I did something wrong.
The guy kept telling me to take the things out of the refrigerator but I couldn't because of the door that cant be open all the way due to the fact the other guy was unplugging it. Then in rage he just grabbed the refrigerator and dragged it out from the kitchen out the villa. Around 9:30 pm security came, did a report and took pictures of my receipt. Then he came back at 10pm. Said that they will reimburse me but has to take all my groceries. Which is fine. They were all bad anyways. Then on 0626/2020 at 830am. I did not hear anything from anyone and was concerned that my kids would wake up and not have anything to drink or eat so I called the front desk. I spoke to the manager and he said he will find out and let me know. I waited a hour and got no answer. I called back at 930am and said the head of security will be contacting me. I explained that there is no food, no drink and I have little children. He just apologized.
I called security then spoke to a lady. She said that he will not be coming in at 2pm and he is aware of my issues. So that means I have to wait until 2pm to get a answer or wait to feed my kids. We came here to be stress free and get away from the world and all its issue and I only been here one day and have anxiety. Nothing was done to make sure we were comfortable or accommodate. This is unacceptable and for a resort to have such a good reputation and big name no one cares. I did pay money for this vacation. It was not free. Like I said in the beginning of this email. This will probably be brushed off or not even read. What big name company cares about the little people. I put pictures to show the drag mark on the floor and how all my stuff was just put out.
Today is 06/27/2020 and I have not heard anything from anyone. This email was forward and sent to different people but got nothing in return. I guess we dont care if my children got anything to eat or drink. I had to go out and buy more food and spend more money. Like I said big companies made their name already so why care about the little people.

We started small with Westgate. We purchased one year and returned the next for our first stay. WOW! We were surprised to see that the rooms we saw at purchase were nothing like the rooms we were given when we stayed there. WE were told that if we do not like the purchase, then Westgate will buy it back. NOPE. They never buy back. We were promised that if we purchase a better room, for a mere extra $10,000 then we will like that place/room better. Now we return the next year and that new room is worse. No privacy. We hear kids crying all night, we hear making love in the next room, we hear coughing and spitting by a sick person in the next unit and we hear dogs barking all night. So we complain and now they promise a better place, just purchase upgrade for another $10,000. This goes on and on until now we have purchased and paid for upgrades and have $40,000. in this resort.
Lies, Lies, Lies at every upgrade. We get no rest at these resorts. I have tried (5) and they are all alike. Westgate Resorts use absolutely NO NO NO privacy insulation. If they build it, you will receive no rest or privacy in your room. What you purchase never looks like the rooms you are shown when you purchase. Now you want to sell and the $40,000 you have spent and the housekeeping (that went from $300.00 per year to $900.00 per year) totals a bundle... You can only get about $5,000 to 6,000 offers to purchase your property. (If you can get that.)
We tried to rent (Lies they tell you). We finally found someone to rent our unit. They called Westgate to verify that we do indeed own a property there, and Westgate stole our renter. They offered the unit to them for much less than we offered so we lost the rent. The lady was kind enough to let us know what Westgate did. Westgate stole from us. Dishonest people. My best advice if you are thinking of purchasing from Westgate Resorts...RUN RUN RUN.

To be quick to the point, you will have a good time and admire the possibility of being able to have a nice vacation in a lovely place as you like which is the furthest thing from the truth and to be plain, it's cheaper to save for a vacation versus being financially tied to a contract that you WILL not exercise at your convenience but will be obligated to pay no matter what at the end of the day and should you expire, your next to kin will then be held responsible so it's cheaper and less stress in the long run to just save for a vacation and be done with it..

Dont book a room here using Hotwire because you will be without a room unless your willing to pay twice.... Once the reservation is found 12 to 24 hrs later they will not refund you the full amount...

Very rude and unethical behavior from front desk and from Corporate customer service. They all lied in many occasions and in many different ways to cover up their inefficiency and mistake. Based on the lies they threatened us to extort more money. They promised stuff which they had no scruples of ignoring. Not that I cared after what they put us through. A very horrible experience in all my close to 60 years of experience. I will definitely not recommend anyone to go there. They are plain cheaters.

I had a terrible experience with Westgate Resorts at The Villas in Kissimmee Orlando. I had roaches in the apartment sheets and blankets dirty and smell. I had an emergency, I couldn't make the tour. They would not help me reschedule it. I'm very unsatisfied with Westgate Resorts. They charged me $300 extra for missing the tour.

Place was nice, day 2 started off bad...We had a idiot named Josh ** call our room trying to sell us tickets to a park. Calling our room and disturbing our getaway for money. It seems petty that guests aren't allowed to sleep due to bad judgement and weak leadership. And when I brought it to the managers attention he just said, "We have a lot of people here named Josh." No apology! Awesome Resort that needs better leadership in customer service!

These people suck you in with an offer for an attraction pass or cheaper hotel rate then hold you hostage for a 3-4 hours sales pitch. Bully tactics anyone should be able to see through. The resort is nothing to write home about. Trumpian and sad.

Absolutely the worse I’ve ever had. Pool bars and activities stop at 7. Room keys work half the time. You will feel dirty just walking into your room. Might as well be a 1 star motel 6. Terrible. Checking out to take my family elsewhere.

Initial response was positive with contact numbers provided in an e-mail and a explanation of what I needed to do to ie; phone them and give details of my credit card for the repayment to be made. Maybe my fault but I was unable to contact them on any of the numbers that had been provide, so I replied on their e-mail that I was unable to contact them by phone and I asked for them to contact me. By the next day and not having received any notification I again sent the e-mail along with some additional text explaining that my bank were now charging me overdraft charges on my account and I provided both my mobile and landline numbers for them to call me. Still three days on not any type of communication from them at all. It's disgraceful and wholly unethical that they have my money and are making no attempt to get it refunded to me.

This tour was the biggest waste of time ever! And they lied about the whole thing. We were promised a gourmet breakfast, $100, and that it would only take an hour and a half. It took 3 hours. The food was disgusting! The place was dirty and loud. My $100 was on a gift card that read $0 balance when I tried to use it. The person giving us the tour was rude and obnoxious and they didn’t want to take no for an answer even when I said I couldn’t afford it. This place is absolutely horrible. DO NOT GO!!!

I have been coming to this resort for 11 years and this is the worst experience I’ve ever had! Once you buy as an owner, they no longer care about taking care of you. Don’t fall for the high pressure sales, run away! There is better service meaning cleaner rooms and response to customer requests from an inexpensive competitor. Orlando Florida Westgate has definitely gone downhill and not sure why. My first room was very dirty. For example, the sheets had stains and hair on them. The dishes were put away with dried food on them. There was a chicken bone under the bed left from a previous person. I had to persist on several occasions to get anyone to make things right, no one reaches out. Next time I come to Orlando, I will definitely not stay here!

It was during Hurricane Irma, and the electric power was lost the next morning after arrival. The check in/out staff did not return to work the next day. It was pure pandemonium became apparent. The city of Orlando issued an order not to leave until 6 pm. I left anyway and returned home.

I stayed with Westgate Myrtle Beach with my husband, son, and mother for 3 nights. We got there and our room had already been rented. They upgraded us to 1 bed and a pull out queen couch. We had 2 queen beds reserved. The queen bed had full mattress so the frame caused bruises on my mother and son. There were other people’s hair in our bed. The staff was very unfriendly (other than maintenance) and they overcharged us and I had to bring it to THEIR attention. No apologies for that and no one asked me how my stay was so I filed a complaint on the BBB. They responded with I should have said something while we were there and that they weren’t going to do anything. I’m not at all surprised. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my enemies. Horrible company, and I have only just begun to complain.

When I was in Vegas October/20196 and I bought this travel club package. I was told I could use it on my vacation in the Mediterranean that I planning to do it this year. I make down of $ 2.100.00 dollars and start pay $ 162.50 a very month. They give me $ 3.000.00 dollar card that I could use for my vacations. Now that I made the reservations. I am told I cannot use this card. When they told me that I can used as cash as part of my payment. So far I pay $ 4.862.50 for this package. But since I am no able to use the $3.000.00 dollars card I stop the payments. I am very disappointed with this company and I am requesting my money back and cancelation of contract.

Rooms are disgusting, found bugs. Rooms are so outdated and dirty. Staff were so clueless and not willing to help in anyway. Manager was nowhere to be found and we kept getting the runaround. Will NEVER stay here again. Will warn people of this misinformed info on their website. Please do your thorough research before booking. Save yourself the headaches! It’s not worth it at all!

We stayed at this resort about 4 years ago, and we were quite impressed. We decided to stay there again. It was a mistake. There were so many things bad about the unit we stayed in. This place is going downhill. Here is a list of things that were not up to par. The dishwasher wasn't even secured to the cabinet, when you opened the door to put dishes in, the whole dishwasher would tip forward. The sink faucet was really loose, not connected well to sink. The TV would only stay on for a while and turn off, this happened throughout our stay, told the front desk, and someone came, and said that if you don't move around the TV will go off ??? WHAT??? Light above sink in bathroom would come on like a night light. Called twice on that, they had to replace the whole light 2nd time around.
The shower had mold in it, I even took an old toothbrush I had to see if it would come off, and some of it did. It was around the walls, the door and floor. The shower would leak onto the bathroom floor. The Jacuzzi jets inside were black, which to me means all the plumbing inside would have mold. I would never go into this tub. The light socket on one of the lamps was not secure, it looked broken. There were cigarette burns on all the counters and tables in the whole unit. And the unit smelled like cigarettes! The furniture was all scuffed up. No condiments like salt and pepper, which I wouldn't even think of bringing. We won't be staying at the Las Vegas Resort in any future trips to Las Vegas.

Don't know where to start. Promised a free vacation upon the package I bought for many more. Room isn't what was promised. In 4 days one person came to change the bedding. We called for someone to check on the washer and dryer. Promised free wifi and received nothing. Even when paid it is garbage. No signal anywhere on the facility. No cable channels. None of the water rides are free like promised, no gym facility. I was kicked out because I had no member card. Then told pay 5$. Upon the crazy fees and ticket prices. I had a sour experience of Florida and even worse of Westgate. They didnt even let us know we had a complimentary breakfast. You always get what you pay for and nothing is ever free even if it's written on the dotted line.
