    My experience at Westgate was very good. The price I got was good as well. I like that the unit was one bedroom. They had a kitchen and everything was equipped. I'm a Chef and was cooking everything. I really love that they have grills and if we needed anything, we called, and they brought it in. I really love coffee and it's one of the biggest reason I went there. I like Westgate Resort Hollister. It's better than home. It's very clean and has a very good view even if it didn't get a good view. The boys like to see the lake.

    I used Booking.com to book Westgate. When I got to the property, I got the gate code and got in to get my room keys. It was all super easy. When we checked in, the rep was super nice and pleasant. Explained everything, all the activities for the kiddos and the amenities. That was really good. And check-out was super easy as well. The kiddos did the Sharpie art, and they enjoyed the indoor pool, the hot tub, and the games under the pavilion. The location is convenient too. It was an eight - nine minute drive there to the strip. I wish there had been a convenience store a little bit closer. But outside of that, it's a very nice property they've got branching out there.

    I liked the location of Westgate. The check-in and check-out were easy and quick. We also went swimming and did the water park. The water park was good. The pool was a little on the colder side, but it was cold outside. Otherwise, the experience was great. There was construction going on, but the resort was beautiful. The scene that we had from our room was amazing. We had a great first time there, and we will definitely be back. I would highly recommend them.

    Several different options came up on a Priceline search. We were given a choice of three, and the system selected Westgate Resorts for us. It was very well located, and both checking in and out were excellent. We enjoyed the room, and the facilities were very good. But the room wasn't quite as clean as it could have been. The cupboards around the stove were still a bit greasy from the previous user of the room. Also, the shower pressure wasn't as strong as it could have been. If it had been a bit stronger, that would have been nice. We were only staying two nights, so it didn't matter that the room didn't get serviced every night like other hotels. For two nights, it was fine.

    We've gone to Westgate Resorts for 20 years. It's where our home is but I’m not happy with it, and next year we're not going. It's getting too big. You're a number, not a person anymore. We've complained about the internet for years and Westgate hasn’t done anything to change it. You call to get something, and it takes hours to get it. They said that the units would be updated every five years, but they haven't been. We stayed in ones that were the same as 20 years ago. It's not the home we started in. They used to be picky on who they let in there and now, they let anybody in. I don't even feel safe there anymore. The amenities and activities are good, but it takes you out. They offer good things to do, but since we go during a busy time in March, there are a lot more people. If you don’t get there right away, it’s hard to find a seat because there are too many people.

    The first time we went to Westgate Resorts, we liked it a lot. The staff was phenomenal. It was easy, and they're always there to help. Also, the food is very good. We went to boat rides, horseback, and the swamp buggy thing that almost killed me, but it was fun. Our grandkids have been with us to the one up in Myrtle Beach and River Ranch. We were at River Ranch for a night with another grandchild, and it was excellent. However, River Ranch doesn't have much around it other than River Ranch, which is fine. The rodeo and new water park are phenomenal. We've also been to the Gatlinburg.

    That was my second time at Westgate Resorts with some friends, and I love it. Checking in and out was super easy. Everybody was kind. We're all happy with that. The food was good. We tried to reserve at the restaurant, but it was Valentine's Day so it was sold out. We enjoyed the tours and the boat. Everything was super clean and comfortable. We also love the style of the rooms. We stayed in a tent the last time that we went. This time, we tried the hotel, and it was good. We plan to go again next year. A big baby group.

    Choosing Westgate Resorts was a value purchase. I was looking for a nice place that wasn't too expensive. There were nicer places, but they were also more expensive. There were cheaper places, but they weren't as nice. I was there with my wife, assisting her mother who lived in a care facility, and it was near to the Westgate, so for us, the location was excellent.

    Checking in was prompt, and Westgate's receptionist was very pleasant. They had all the information they needed from me, and we got checked in within a few minutes. It went smoothly. Also, the bed and room were comfortable. The little sink, refrigerator, and microwave setup was perfect for a four-day stay for two people, so there was sufficient room in the closets and drawers. I would stay there again if we needed to.

    I had a conference being hosted at the Westgate Resort. So I booked there and the people that I interacted with at check-in were very friendly and helpful in giving directions. The room was great. The location was very accessible for the conference that I was staying at. The one issue I do recall from it was that the water wasn't exactly the hottest. There were some issues with that and other people were mentioning it as well. Other than that, it was a good experience. I would definitely tell friends and family to consider Westgate.

    We were out there on a soccer trip, and Westgate Palace was our recommended hotel. Checking in and out was an easy, friendly, and a great process. Our kids were in the pool, and my wife and I were in the hot tub. We went to the little restaurant thing there every day for eating breakfast. Also, we went to Universal and Sea World. Westgate was a very nice hotel. Great location. We will be back. I'd recommend it.

    The people at all the Westgates that we went to were very, very friendly. The first time that we experienced the Westgate was at the town center in Orlando and we enjoyed it. As soon as we got into our room, we noticed that the tub was not washed. So, they brought somebody right away to take care of that. They moved us to a different location without us even asking for it or they just moved us. So, we liked that. They didn't take a while and it got done right away. We went to the Westgate in Tennessee as well for the same reason. It was amazing as well.

    We tried the new one recently. It's somewhere in Orlando again, and that one was nice. The only problem that I had was the last day that we were there, we requested to extend an hour. They gave us the hour. But there were two occasions where we felt that somebody went inside our room and we weren't sure why. There was no cleaning staff 'cause when I went in the last day it was 9:30, and we had the room till 12:00 or 11:00, somewhere around there. And I went to use the restroom because the girls were outside in the pool area. I just heard somebody open the door and then closed the door, slammed the door shut. So, then I walked out, called my husband, started panicking because I'm a panicky person. When I told him about it, we went back up. So, he checked and this time the door was left wide open. So, I don't know what had happened. But I did mention it to them and they were gonna look into it. Other than that, I'm still a fan of Westgate.

    We had visited the Westgate Resorts 17 years ago with family and stayed for a week or so. My dad was a veteran and he came through the Veterans Vacation Club. We really enjoyed it. So, we were looking for someplace to just have a short stay en route to Naples. I found Westgate and it was a good price. I booked it through Extra Holidays, which I am a member of. The check-in experience was very good. We were a little bit early, but the fellow who checked us in was able to get us a room earlier to check in. What we thought was described on the website of what we were booking turned out to be not what they were showing. We thought we were booking a one bedroom suite with a partial kitchen.

    It turned out that it was just two full beds. He said, “What they say, sometimes these extra booking companies don't portray it exactly right.” He said, "I have an upgrade I can give you." So, he gave us an upgrade. It wasn't a full kitchen, but we had a microwave and a little bit bigger than hotel size refrigerator. So, it was all that we needed. It was good. We're only there for four days. Overall, everything was fine while we were there.

    I searched online for a decent deal for a quick stay in Orlando, and Westgate's rates were good. The place also looked nice and had good reviews. I was able to book something, but the app was not very intuitive or integrated. When I book something, I get an email, but it doesn't show up in the app again. On every other hotel app, I book and the reservation shows up. I had to re-add my reservation.

    Westgate has friendly people and they're very close to Disney. The rooms are good too. Everything seemed upgraded. Having two bathrooms was nice and the kitchens were nice as well. The resort had lots of amenities too. We saw a couple restaurants on site and a place where it looked like they had activities. We also saw the game room and my son made me go in there, which was fine. We were on vacation and he said, "Oh, there's arcades." I said, "All right, let's go."

    I went to an international builders’ show, and Westgate Resorts was one of the selections that I found on the list. I did everything online before I got to Westgate. Then when I got there, they had all my stuff ready. When I left, I left the key at the gate, and everybody was happy. I ate at the grill there and the food was great. The service was great, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I was pleasantly surprised at how large the unit was that I occupied. There was a separate bedroom and a separate living room, a dining area, a kitchen, and bath. It was considerably more than I expected it to be. So, that made it a good value for the dollars I spent. Everything was clean. The resort was in very good shape. It was a pleasant and relaxing experience.

    I was looking in the area proximity to where I had business, and Westgate was a good location. I wanted to be off the strip but close enough to it, and I didn't even know they had a shuttle which was very cool. We took full advantage of that. Check-in was very easy. It almost felt like we were getting checked in by a personal concierge, so that was great. We did appreciate that. Also, we weren't competing with a lot of other people, but the attention to us was great during check-in.

    The main thing for me was the amount of room that I got for the cost. The only disappointing thing was that we weren't staying longer because that was clearly a room that we could have cooked in. It was a very nice room. There was a kitchenette with a bar, a counter and a full-size fridge, and that made it very convenient if we had wanted to get groceries. There was a separate dining room area. It wasn't like a little corner of a room. We had an issue with the hot tub that was in the room and somebody was there immediately to fix it and help us out with it. Any problems we had were addressed immediately. We didn't take advantage of the on-site food options, but we did check out the convenience store for snacks and things. So when we had a sweet tooth, there were plenty of options available to us, and the gift store was nice.

    The reservation and check-in process was fine. It was accommodating. The manager did upgrade our room, which I appreciated. The thing I wish they had was a little more of a buffet for breakfast. That was the only issue I had with Westgate. Because, normally, if I stay at another hotel, I always pick the buffet breakfast. They don't necessarily have to be free, but they don't have a selection. They only have that coffee shop. I do like the restaurant though. The grill that they have there, we enjoyed that. Everyone was satisfied with their food. And the football game was on, so everybody was happy with that also. That was a fun time.

    However, the pool was too cold. The other issue I don't like about Westgate, they need to invest in an indoor pool. Because it was actually freezing. They had the water area on, but it was too cold for anyone to be out there. What I did not like is that the housekeeper forgot to put the little coffee packets that were complimentary in our room. They said they were gonna bring two up to us, and just brought one. And one is never enough for me. 'Cause I like to make my coffee in the morning. Other than that Westgate was convenient and fun, comfortable rooms, spacious.

    We stayed at Westgate a few years ago in the past with my husband and we liked the fact that the location was right on the monorail. So I was going with my sister this time and she's never been there. So we decided to stay there again. The check-in and checkout process was good. Their customer service was fine. The food was awesome, too. We tried several different places within the Westgate, and we were very happy with all of them. However, they need to update their current hours so everybody knows what time they're open and closed. We had a really hard time getting the correct schedules for the different restaurants. We went online, and it would say they were open till 2:00 p.m., but then we would go down there and find out that it's closed.

    I saw Westgate Resorts through a website and did a bundle for my flight and my stay. It looked really nice for the price and it was. It was clean. We enjoyed every minute of it. The weather was a little chilly when we were there, so we weren't able to use the pool, but it was very nice. We went in the shop and bought a few things. The children's play area and children’s waterfalls, although we weren’t able to use it because of the weather, were very nice as well.

    I liked the size of the room of the Westgate resort I stayed at. I booked it online through Priceline. I had never been there before, but I went through the pictures and all the amenities online. The check-in process was very easy. We got in pretty late, so I was a little worried about that but everybody was so nice. It was so easy to get to everything at the resort. We stopped at the market that was there. It was great and we got a few things there. We weren't there for too long. I wish we could’ve stayed longer to view everything that was there. We also went on the paddle boat. We were gonna go down to the pool, but we didn't have much time. We were pretty much out for the whole day every time we were there. We really had a great time. I've been telling everybody to go book with them.

    The girl that took care of me during check in did a terrific job. She was very quick and precise. She showed me where to go and how to go, and was very good. It was fantastic. We ate in the main restaurant for two nights, and it was extremely good. The waiter was fantastic. There were five of us at the table, and he was right on the ball. But the following night, the waitress wasn't really up to par. She was a little slow and got quite a few things mixed up. The food in the resort was average. The only thing that was missing was condiments for the coffee. There was no sugar or cream. So, I had to go out for coffee. I really enjoyed my stay in Westgate and they allowed me to have my dog. But overall, accommodations were terrific.

    Westgate's location was really good. We had to go to the conference center, so it was a quick drive there, which was really nice. We also liked the pool and the water park. The reservation, check-in and check- out processes were easy peasy. As far as food options, I only ended up going to the ice cream parlor, but that was fantastic. I did enjoy the customer service via texting. They were super accommodating that way. It was nice that we didn't have to run down to the front desk every single time we had a question.     I received a timeshare phone call years and years ago, and we went ahead and took advantage of that. We never bought a timeshare, but we constantly just look up Westgate to stay at now. We stay at the one in Kissimmee which we find to be the best one. It's the best bang for your buck. Westgate has really good pricing in terms of the cost to stay and it's a very well-kept property. The rooms are spacious and the amenities on the property is great as well. It has all the amenities you need. We love staying there and we stay there all the time. The location is perfect. It is very well convenient and close to parks. I made a mistake and booked the one off International Drive, and when I got there, the receptionist made a phone call, took care of us, and booked us a room over at Kissimmee the same day without a problem.

    The food options that were available were surprisingly good as well. We went to a Mexican restaurant that's on premises, and it was great. Even walking around outside was nice. They have this little area where it looks like you're walking through a little city, and they had music playing and games outside for the kids. My sons played basketball and they enjoyed that too. It was a great overall experience.

    We liked Westgate Resorts' availability, price, and amenities. Checking-in and out were very good, especially the check-in. I liked the hotel's size and its natural beauty.     Westgate Resorts is totally different from other places. I came across them at the car show every February and before that, I never knew about something like that in the middle of Florida. Now that they have the big water thing, they're going to attract so many different people. My check-in experience with them was excellent. Their rooms were old but nice. It was a little bit different this time, looked like somebody upgraded some things in the rooms.

    But there were no provisions for handicapped guests. My wife is handicapped and I had to call months in advance for our reservation. Thank God for Tony Abreu who got me into that 300 building because there were no elevators or walk-ups. I walked right into the room with my wife in the wheelchair. She has a walker and a wheelchair. But I couldn't go up the stairs because they had no elevators. They also had very few handicapped bathrooms. That was why we got a good room like that where she could go.

    With the annual gun show that I like being held at Westgate Resorts, it was a privilege to stay there. Their booking process was very good. I usually call for a lot of booking things and making appointments instead of using a computer, so I called Westgate up, got right through, and got my room. Unfortunately, the rooms that were reserved for that particular show were all sold out. That's what I get for waiting a week or two before the event to book. Other than that, it was very smooth and nice. I enjoyed it.

    The room I got looked like it had just been refurbished, but I don't believe it had been. That's the standard that Westgate upholds in their room presentation and it's lovely. It's a bigger room than I have in my house. I also upgraded a little for what I thought was a nominal fee. I went from the first five floors up to the 18th and had a beautiful view of the city out the window. It was very nice indeed. While I didn't use the casino or any of the resort facilities, I ate at Benihana when we arrived, then I turned in. The room was beautiful and it had a wonderful view.

    We went out for the antique gun show that was at the main Westgate motel, and it was full. When I went on that site, they showed me that the one at Flamingo Bay was available and that they had shuttles up to the main one, so I chose it. I actually liked it much better than the main Westgate. The location was great, because it was away from all the glaring lights and hubbub. I really liked it. Also, I thought for the price, it was really good. The check-in and check-out went smoothly as well. They were also very accommodating.

    We were looking for camping, but we're scared of it. So, we thought going to a resort was the best option for a first time. Checking in at the Westgate Resort was very easy. Everybody was good. As far as the activities, we did archery, mini golf, the rodeo, and we did the adventure park there for the kids. We fished a little bit, but it was cold when we were up there. So, we were gonna do the dune buggy thing but we didn't. The experience was very nice. We upgraded to the glamping tent and it was gonna be 37 degrees when we woke up Monday morning. So, the heater was a great thing. They had little carts that came with coffee in the morning. That was very good. Also, with the glamping tent, you get your own bathroom with a key card like in a hotel. So, I would highly recommend that.

    We went to Westgate Resorts for a family trip to Gatlinburg and it was most enjoyable. The resort was fantastic, but a couple of nights were disrupted by people next door, including a screaming kid at six in the morning. The main issue was soundproofing between units. You could hear everything, even someone coughing. I talked to other members, and they said the same thing. I had to shut my bathroom door just so I wouldn’t hear a baby screaming. I was exhausted.

    At one point, something was burning, and later there was a drill going off, and I had no idea what was happening. I went to the front desk instead of calling and the guy there was very nice, but nothing was done. I asked if there was work being done and whether there could be any kind of adjustment to the cost, and there wasn’t. He told me that next time I should call so security could handle it, and then they might consider helping me out. It was frustrating, but it is what it is. I moved on and tried to stay positive.

    Checking in and out was perfect. I did a lot of things online, so it was expedited. I didn't have to sit there and wait too long for anything because everything was already set. My experience with the staff was very complimentary and personal. The breakfast selection wasn’t great, although I loved the French toast. And Westgate had newly built chalets that were way at the top and when we went there, it was very nice. They had cookies that were fresh out of the oven. It was a wonderful presentation.

    I enjoyed the Lazy River and the Kids’ Corner because I have grandkids. It’s a very nice feature that you just drop your kids off. I didn’t leave my grandkids here, but it was great. We hung out in Pigeon Forge and the arcade, and I had a massage. It was good money. The resort’s location is very convenient and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I loved Westgate. It’s one of our go-to places.

    A family that we dog-sit and house-sit for gifted us a flight, the resort, and three days at Universal and Walt Disney. Westgate was the hotel resort that they chose. Both the check-in and checkout process was great. The check-in was better just because I actually got to talk to a person and interact. Sebastian was fantastic. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He also interacted with my son to make sure we felt welcome. They let us check in a little early because our flight got in early.

    We went to the bar and grill and the burger was delicious. We liked the little market that was there. The ice cream was delicious. But we weren't really a fan of the pizza. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't that good for what we paid and we waited 40 minutes for it. We also went to the pool, hot tub, and the basketball court. We've never stayed at a hotel before with a basketball court, so that was pretty cool. We were able to shuttle back and forth from Universal. We had an Uber for Walt Disney. But other than that, it was just an awesome experience overall. It was a fantastic stay. We will definitely be back one day.

    We spent five hours sitting in the car driving from place to place trying to find a hotel because when we arrived at the original hotel that we had reservations, it was not to our preference. We left that place not knowing all of the other places were booked. So it was a blessing in disguise for us to be able to get in Westgate. We were driving around since 1 o'clock and we didn't get to check in until 8 o'clock. Their customer service was excellent, friendly and caring. They offered us the only thing they had available. They accommodated us. It wasn't the right size what we needed. It was for four ladies and that it was just a room with one king bed. So I made a bed on the floor and Westgate accommodated me with as many pillows as I needed to make a bed, and also blankets and sheets. They gave everything I needed to get comfortable.

    There was a little refrigerator in the room and somebody must have left something in there because when we opened the door, it was spoiled. We reported it and the housekeeping was able to clean it. They came as quickly as they could. We slept only an hour and a half and were gone the whole day to Silver Dollar City and came back and slept. We slept really good. The ladies were pleased with the room even though it was a little tight. They were very happy there. What Westgate did for us was awesome.

    Westgate didn't charge us for the second day. We checked out after 12:00 and at first, they said, "I'm sorry. We have to charge you both days because it's after the checkout time." I told them it was no problem. So I ran to my car and then I came back to ask them, "Could we view one of the cabins?" I've never seen a cabin and hadn't seen the cabins there, but they were booked. They didn't have any to show. Then the rep said, "I'm glad you came back. I talked to my manager and we decided we're not gonna charge you for the second day." That was awesome. So we won't complain about pricing at all.

    A few years back, I had a conference with my job and they booked Westgate Resorts. I liked the place, it was clean, had a lot of activities for the kids and for people to do on and off the resort. When my grandkids wanted to go to Disney World, I said, ""Let's go to Westgate.”

    They had sent me everything to do online and so when I got there, all I had to do was just show my information and give them my driver's license and give them my confirmation number. It took about 10 minutes. The staff really kept to themselves. Every time we came out, they were walking on the ground, picking up trash, and cleaning up. But when they saw you, they made sure they spoke and had a friendly smile on their face. When I needed help to find something, they were able to tell me where to go.

    Instead of an Airbnb, I would recommend the resort since the resort is private and it has a lot to do on it. We paid for the pool, but they have a private pool. I love that the pool had the little thing that was two levels. Then they had the little ice rink where the kids could go out and skate. And then on the back part of the pool, they had where the kids could play checkers. They also had karaoke and the big Connect 4. Those were nice activities where I could just sit back and have a couple of drinks and watch my kids while they were in the arcade.

    The bathroom is 10 out of 10. My mom is in a wheelchair and she was able to sit inside the Jacuzzi without falling. She was able to sit inside the shower on the little stool that we had brought. It is a bathroom for handicapped, I love it. The rooms and the kitchen were nice too. The kitchen house was connected to the dining room and the patio. We were able to cook while the kids sat on the balcony and ate breakfast. I loved it.

    Checking in and out were very quick and easy. It was nice that we were able to get in a bit early. We had a two-bedroom with a kitchen, and we liked it. However, the dishwasher’s inside was in a bad condition and didn't work. Everything was rusty. Plus, I'm used to a softer mattress but the mattresses there were so hard. Other than those two, everything was very nice.

    The people were very friendly. The pool and facilities were very nice. I like the little lazy river, and saw a lot of families using it. I wish it was warmer, though.

    The location was very good for what we needed. Waffle House was right there, and a lot of things were in walking distance. At checkout, we just left the keys in the room.

    Westgate Kissimmee was only 20 minutes away from Disney, where our grandson’s high school band was marching. I'm not good at the technology end of this stuff, but it was easy to make the reservation online. Once they got it, they kept me informed. Then my phone crashed, so I had to contact them to get all the information ‘cause I lost it all, and they sent it while we were talking. Checking in went very smooth. Everybody at the resort was very friendly and accommodating, but Sarah, the young lady at the front desk, went above and beyond. We decided to stay, she booked us an extra night and gave us almost the same rate we got for booking the other three nights. So, I can't complain. The place was awesome and they treated us very well.

    We really didn't get to use too much of the resort and we wanted to, but we were at Disney for two days and then we went to Orlando to see our granddaughter over on that side of the state. We just ate our breakfast there and we ate out the rest of the time. But from the way Sarah described the resort and the guy that tries to set you up on the tours, they said they had a lot of different things there like bike riding, this, that, and the other, but we weren't able to take advantage of that. We hated to leave ‘cause we had access to the main resort, but we didn't get to do it, which was unfortunate.

    The only issue we had, which was not an issue, was somebody had locked the safe when they left. They sent security up to try and open it, but it wouldn't open, and they said they’d bring in a locksmith the following day. I told them we were only there for a few days, and I was just letting them know it didn’t work, so they could take care of it. But the room was fantastic, and the accommodations. When we got back, we told everybody about Westgate. Even the people in the band and the chaperones we were hanging around with, we were telling them we had a very good rate, very good accommodation and the place was very clean too.

    Westgate Resorts is awesome. They have what I look for when I go to Orlando. The process of making the reservation and checking in and out was a breeze. They got the Draft Bar, which is the best food on the property. When we’re in the resort there’s always something to do, like the water park. Where they're located is convenient too because they're around everything.

    Everybody is happy and respectful. You can flag any one of the golf cart guys down and get a ride. When they see a vehicle moving around in there, they give the right of way to the customer. They put their customers first. Not all businesses do that. I referred people to them, and I’m pretty sure they had a good time. I don't have anything bad to say about them.     I was looking for a staycation to celebrate my husband's birthday, as we are locals living just a short drive from Orlando. Also, I have a five-year-old daughter, so I was looking to do something like stay somewhere that also had activities and something that we could do. I used ChatGPT and Westgate Resorts popped up. I grew up right down the street. I live in Doctor Phillips, so I've always passed by Westgate or by Turkey Lake but never stayed. It was our first time staying and we loved it. We had the best time.

    I booked my stay from the website, but I called about the water park because I wanted to understand. There was also a loyalty membership, so I was confused about that. I called and spoke with someone. I asked if there's any way that we could get a view for my husband's birthday. I wanted to make it special, so I requested that. But when we got there, we did not have the view. When I told the front staff, they showed me where the building was, and I said, “It was away from the lake. It wasn't in front of the water park.” When I said, “When I reserved, I had asked for possibility of having something maybe close to the water park or something with a view,” they immediately put us in the best view. It was a lake view plus the water park, so I was so happy with how they took care of it. I called back to ask if I had to pay for it. They said it was a complimentary because it's his birthday. The customer service was excellent. I was very impressed.

    The only issue we encountered was the washing machine, but we were just staying for a few days, so it wasn't a big issue. We told them that the washing machine had an issue, but they took care of it well. When I messaged, they were responsive. They messaged that maintenance would come, and I told them that we were checking out so it wasn't an issue. We only had the issue the day we were leaving, because we wanted to wash the towels. We had used towels, so I thought I would put it in the wash because we had a washing machine there, but it wasn't draining. Other than that, everything was great. We liked the room. Everything looked modern and the beds were comfortable. We ate at the pizza place, and we got ice cream. The pizza was delicious and the ice cream was great. We also ate out. It's local and I drive, so we visited Restaurant Row and Sand Lake.

    We had never been to Branson and the Westgate was in a good spot up there. So, we decided to stay there. It was really nice. It had tons of amenities. As far as the check-in, I walked in there and I did wait in line for a few minutes. Then I went up there and our room was already ready. We happened to get it an hour before, which was great. Our room was nice, clean and in a good spot. The only thing is I gave a deposit for our room on 10-15, and I still have not gotten that back.

    When we were getting the parking pass from someone, she gave us a voucher to use on breakfast for that Friday. We just wound up leaving sooner. I had already given her $20, and it was like a gift card that she was gonna give me if I attended the breakfast. We didn't get to attend because we had to come home due to emergency, but I'm sure it would have been great. Everybody was very nice and very helpful. The Westgate we went to was super. It had everything on site. If my daughter wanted to do all kinds of activities, there were tons of them. They had an indoor pool, a splatter room and a bracelet making area, too. The splatter room was very interesting for her. I would recommend it for people with families.

    I found Westgate Resorts when planning a birthday celebration for myself and my boyfriend in January. Both of us share January birthdays, so we were looking for something special near Orlando since we live in Ocala. Westgate's offerings at a reasonable price caught our eye, and attending became a tradition. We go back every year for our birthdays in January. We've also taken my dad for his birthday twice. I use that most of the time.

    They have a nice little water park there and a lazy river. They have a small water park for the kids too, but they also have stuff for older kids and adults to do. They have a tiki bar, spa packages and all types of stuff from what I've seen. We are considering trying the spa packages for our birthday coming up. We ate at the Drafts Sports Bar and I was surprised at how good the food was. We also tried the ice cream place.

    I usually stay on International Drive when I go to Florida. But the hotels out there aren't it. I stumbled across Westgate Resorts. After looking at the photos, the price wasn't bad. It was cheap. I got a good deal. We wanted to try it out and see how it goes. Everything I did was online. It works fine. The app, not so much. It was glitchy.

    Everybody's friendly and helps out. They would text me throughout my stay and ask me how everything's going. People walk around all day cleaning. That place is beautiful. It had everything. There was bowling, arcade, a pizza joint, an ice cream shop, market, and a coffee shop. They had an actual restaurant. We had lunch and dinner there the same day. We did the paddle boats. They have a water park, but they close earlier. We tried to get in and they close at 6:00. It was crazy. They had mini golf. There were seven different pools. They have an adult-only pool. We walked on a wooden walkway out to a big tiki out in the middle of the water. We sat and watched. They use it as an entertainment center. They have a spa and hair salon, but I couldn't get an appointment. They were booked. I'll probably go back. We're looking at a 10-day trip next year with the kids.

    We've known about Westgate for years. One of the nice things is that they offer rooms available through Expedia and Hotels.com. Going online and renting a room is easier for us. On our most recent stay, the check-in was good. Nothing was slow. They had everything ready to go, and it was just a matter of getting through the line which wasn't that long. The front desk staff was polite and she did her job. We stayed in a room that my wife had selected. It was clean. I'm a Realtor, so I'm very observant of things, and I observed that the laminate flooring seems a little older because it was curling and peeling away in certain areas like at the seams.

    As far as food accommodations on the site, we did not eat there because it was late. They were about ready to close when I got there, but they were able to get us a couple of slices, which we were fine with. Oddly enough, we went in the little grocery store that's right to the pizzeria because my wife wasn't feeling well. I figured I could get her some tea. There was this tea that they carried there that we had never seen, and it was really excellent. As a matter of fact, my wife just ordered a box of it from Amazon. It's called Prince of Peace Ginger and Honey Crystals. It's something that you sprinkle into the water and let it dissolve. It was very strong, and it's good for sore throats, which was what she was having when we had arrived.

    There was a little plaza, too. It's a shopping area, and it's got higher-end stores, and it's a higher-end community. It's about a five-minute drive from Westgate. They got like mom-and-pop places. There was a Venezuelan restaurant, a Peruvian restaurant and a Middle Eastern. There was a little bit of everything. There was even one restaurant that was like a dessert place called Peach Cobbler.

    It was our second time coming to Westgate. Our in-laws go there all the time with their camper. We usually either camp, or get a little cabin with them. The check in process was super easy. The girl gave me a lot of information about the restaurants and stuff to do there. She was great. Everything was perfect, including the grocery store, the pizza place, and the coffee place. I didn't go to any of the restaurants because we were only there on Thursday and Friday, and a lot of them weren't open or we just didn't have enough time. But the water park and the petting zoo were great. The wildlife on the property was great too. We loved it there. We would definitely plan to come back.

    At Westgate Resorts, everything is situated on one location. Reservation and check-in was absolutely great. The only issue I had was some of the amenities did not stay long. We wanted to go to the karaoke. It wasn’t enough time.

    There were two restaurants. When we were out on Saturday, there were other stuff, but there wasn’t that many, so we went to the Spanish restaurant first. They seated us, but it looked like there wasn’t that much service, so we got up and left and went to the other restaurant next door to it.. We sat outside and it took a while to get served. The hostess was a bit abrasive, but then she became accommodating at the end.

    We did the water slide, the pirate cove. So we did go into the water park. We spent almost all day there.

    A big thing was they only had one elevator working. The other one was broken. The persons who were there prior to me said it’s been like that for a week. That was another thing.

    Their staff is good, though, and we will be back maybe at the end of the year.

    My sister owns property at Westgate Resorts, so we decided to go there. It wasn't a good experience at all. When I got there, everything should have been set where I did not have to pay a deposit. But I had to pay a deposit at 3:00 in the morning and I did not have it. I had to wait until I could get someone to send me the money in order to get in the room. That was from 10:00 to almost 3:00 in the morning.

    The reservation was already made and it was already determined what I needed to pay. But when I got there, it was a different amount. That was not the greatest situation when talking to the staff about it.

    Besides that, the food option was okay and the resort's location was convenient. I probably would have a better situation and consider going back if they improve on their check-in and honor the price that was initially promised.

    I stayed there a couple of years ago and had the most awful experience. It was my first day checking in and got my room. Went down to get a drink at the bar and played on the machine. I was there for maybe and hour enjoying myself because I have not been to Vegas in a long time. The person sitting next to me informed me that my drinks should be comp because I've been playing on the machine. I didn't realize that that was a thing because I have not been to Vegas for quite some time. The issue started when I asked the bartender if my drinks was comped and she said no because I haven't been playing. I told her that I've been playing for more than an hour, so how could she have not known that. At the bar you can not sit there unless you are playing. They have a sign that said so. If she thought I was not playing why did she allow me to sit there.

    I asked to speak to the supervisor to see what the reason why my drinks was not comped. This supervisor was very rude and will not hear my complaints. When I asked him why my drinks was not comped he reply "because I said so". I told him "that is messed up" and next thing I know there was 6 security guard surrounding me. They harassed me at the bar and decided to kick me out. I had a room there and they kicked me out because I asked a question that they have no good reason for. They knew they are wrong and decided to ban me from the hotel for life. The worst hotel experience in my entire life. I am so glad that my son no longer wrestle because he loves the tournament there.

    We’ve actually been staying at Westgate for a long time. We always go out there. The check-in and check-out process was great, and the customer service at the location was exceptional. The food option was also good.

    The only complaint I would have is for the Westgate River Ranch. Most of the things are only open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the stores and everything else. So, while you’re there, you’re kind of limited on the hours and time you can do things. The last couple of times I’ve gone there, I haven’t been able to go in the stores there or do the escape room or the fun things that the families can do, because they either didn’t have enough people working to open them, or it was off times during the week when I’ve gone, and they weren’t open. So, I’ve missed out a lot because of that. But everything else is great.

    Westgate Resorts had the prettiest brochure on one of the booking sites. I was down in Arkansas for a week, doing all the sightseeing and had a wonderful time. And I can guarantee that Westgate Resort is one of the nicest hotels, granted it was a little older than some of the nice new ones. The room accommodations were the most pleasant.

    I stayed in a very nice spot down in Florida for a couple of nights. It was about as old as Westgate’s place. It had spectacular views, but it was just a hotel. It made me think of a Westgate down on the Port Canaveral, a little south where you could still see the rockets, piers and everything.

    The Branson resort was nice too. Outside of staying in Chicago 20 years ago, that was probably the nicest place I’ve ever stayed at. We made a couple grilled cheese sandwiches and I just sat out on the patio and admired the view. We missed the boat and didn’t get to see it out in front because it was rainy one day. But other than that, it was absolutely perfect.

    We booked Westgate Resorts for the first time through Priceline and it was a reasonable price. The location was fabulous for Disney. Just two miles and we’re on property which was great for us. We were usually in one of the parks and we just needed a clean place to lay our head that’s close and where we don’t have to deal with the hectic traffic. We didn’t use the amenities so much other than the pool and the hot tub, but we enjoyed our stay. The resort was comfortable and clean. The staff has been wonderful, very polite, kind, and helpful. We had no problems and were very happy with our stay. We’ve come back and stayed there many times over.

    The only drawback we found is that it is an older condo community and there is no elevator. My husband is older. We do see them, though, doing a lot of upgrades and they have been very good about putting us on the first or second floor. I would definitely recommend them. We love staying there

    I stayed at Williamsburg and that place is awesome. I love the fact that the parking was right out front of the room. I wouldn't call it a room. It was more like an apartment-type thing. I really enjoyed that aspect of it. Although, I wasn't able to use any of the amenities, the fact that they were there prompted me to want to return and bring my wife with me. There's a lot of stuff that you could do for fun.

    I loved the location. It was not far from New Kent and Richmond where I need to stay. I didn't wanna stay in the big city of Richmond. I liked being in the outskirts and I like the fact that I was only 20 minutes away from the beach.

    When I got in, the staff was very welcoming. The instructions were easy. They explained to me the parking situation. The staff was very courteous when I was there. The only time I requested anything is garbage bags. I walked right out there, I said, "Can I get some extra garbage bags?" And they handed to me right away and they said, "If you got garbage, just leave it out front. We'll take care of it for you, sir." I really enjoyed my stay there.

    The room was very clean, very organized. Matter of fact, I took pictures of the Westgate, sent that home to my wife, and I said, "Check this out." The price is very good considering the stuff that I got. I was very impressed with that. I was like, "Wow."

    My job has discount programs for certain areas, so I used Westgate’s website. The West Lake location was a nice place, and it was a reasonable price for the stay. I was expecting the room to be cleaned and the towels changed but they didn’t do that. I was told I have to request it. I went to the restaurants and the game room, and they even have a water park. But they charged separately for it. You have to pay every day. If you just pay one price while you stay there, it would have been a fair value.     Westgate is a comfortable, familiar place that we like to go to for a staycation. We usually bring our own food or go out to eat. Their customer service is always sweet in the lobby or if I ask for a later check out, they've always been accommodating. Westgate is comfortable and roomy, and there are a lot of amenities that you don’t even need to leave the property. Over the years, we have used the tennis court, playground, arcade and all the pools. Westgate is top-rate clean, even in the Jacuzzi area and the sauna. The website is tricky and makes you think you're renting something for that price, and when it comes to it, it bumps it up. So, it's not transparent. When I ended up booking, it was double what I thought. The prices are high, and I wish they would give locals a better rate.

    I've been coming to Myrtle Beach every year for the past years with my family and friends. I’m used to the area. I normally stay across the street from the ice cream parlor. There were so many of us, we got the two-level house, actually smack across the street from Westgate.

    It was just me and my godsisters traveling this time. We got a hotel oceanfront view at Westgate and it was good. We had to exchange rooms because there was a lot of sand in the first room. Everything worked out, all the amenities, the excursions that we wanted to do were nearby. Being able to have access to the beach was really nice.

    Checking in and out was easy. They have made it where it's over the phone that you have to communicate. But I checked in on the phone an hour out of being there. When I walked in, everything just went accordingly. The only issue was the exchanging of the room.On top of that, because of the inconvenience, they gave me a $100 credit.

    I would utilize Westgate again because it's right there smack in the middle of everything as well. We all had a good time. It’s panning out to be one of the hotels that is nice as well as oceanfront, but still affordable.

    Everything was good. I wish I didn't have to leave early because of one of my grandkids. Other than that, the site is beautiful. The people that work there are beautiful and very respectful. They treated me right. I had to leave Sunday morning because of an emergency.

    The room is beautiful, roomy with enough space. It fits for everything in there, from the Jacuzzi on down. Everything is nice and clean. I left it just like I bought it.     I wanted to go to Las Vegas but didn't want to be around all the casinos. I took my grandkids so I needed something family-friendly. I saw that Westgate was on the outskirts. I like that it was well-kept and very clean. It's a little condo type apartment. So, instead of having to go out to eat all the time, we were able to make something there. The staff was really attentive. Someone kept texting me. Everything was really nice and there was the pool downstairs.

    The room was good except for the internet that was bad. It didn't work. You can connect to it, but you weren't going nowhere. If you try to open up a browser and go anywhere, it’d say, “No connection.” I reported it and their response was, “Well, yeah. It's kind of weak in that area.” To me, that wasn't a proper response, but we were hardly in the room anyway, so it didn't really matter. The one that we went to is a nice place to go, especially if you have kids, because it has a water park.

    This trip to Westage Florida was for my grandson, and I wanted to take him to the rodeo. And we had a great time. The room was clean. Everything was as promised. The check-in was great. The only thing I would find a tiny bit of fault with is the concierge that we dealt with had an English speaking issue. She was very fluent in Spanish but she couldn't speak English. And I don't speak Spanish, so we had to interpret with hand signals. And you don't expect that from a concierge. I think you could put that somewhere else but not at a concierge, right? At least not with a backup.

    Other than that, everything was perfect. The people at the rodeo were awesome. The restaurants were terrific. The staff was terrific. I remember Joe who was the manager in the steakhouse and he was fabulous. Our waitress a couple of times was super great.

    My grandson loved swimming in the pool. That was very nice. The rodeo was fun, and very cute. It was hot. We were there in a very hot season, so I would probably go back in the fall and it would be even more fun if it was cooler.

    We went to Westgate with a softball team several years ago, and we enjoyed it because we felt safe. Our softball girls were 14 and under at the time. They're 16 and 18 this year.

    I reserved the room online at first, called and made my deposit. When I got there, it was just a breeze. It was a done deal. I didn't have any issues with anything. We were there for a week. They were helpful with anything we needed and on the spot. If we needed towels, they were in there within the hour. So, it was awesome.

    The room was good. There were two beds. The whole softball team was on the same side, so we got to interact with each other in the evenings. The parents got to sit around and talk and the kids went and did their thing, but it was all one side of the unit. It was just really good accommodations for all of us.

    If you want to go to a very comfortable, more of a home setting situation, or if you want to feel safe, Westgate was the place to go because I felt we could be safe at any time. Our girls could go and play volleyball, go swimming, and we had no worries. It was the best.

    We went to Westgate Resorts at Branson Lakes. The check-in process was very drawn out. There were two customer service agents. Both were with a customer that was clearly having a very difficult time. There were two people having very, very bad days, and that left 4 people waiting to check in for a very long time. It took over an hour to get checked in. It was no fault of the staff, but there were only two people working. But leaving was super easy.

    Our room was fine but the floor was dirty. It had been swept. There wasn't anything visible, but our feet were all dirty. So I had to mop the floor. And there were no towels in my room. In general the room was very clean and nice. It smelled fresh. Everyone that we encountered was pleasant . Except for the floors being dirty, everything seemed clean, like the walkways, the elevator, the lobby. The pool was fine.

    I stayed at Westgate Resorts 10 years when was it was still rebuilding. Initially, I stayed in a location that was nice, but the rebuilding ones were even better. I chose the one in Orlando over the one in Kissimmee. The experience was quite pleasant, as the staff made me feel comfortable and were very accommodating. Whenever something was missing in my room, a quick call resolved the issue with prompt service. My accommodations varied with each visit; sometimes there was a jacuzzi and other times not. My last stay was in June, and everything was satisfactory except for the bed. It felt different from previous stays—firmer and somewhat hard, as opposed to the usual comfortable sofa bed. As for dining options, the resort primarily offered fast food like burgers, and the marketplace seemed to be shutting down, which diminished some food variety. However, if you had lunch by the pool, the experience was wonderful.

    My family and I go to Westgate Resorts every year. Check-in was generally smooth, despite a small hiccup when a lady cut in front of me. The staff quickly handled the situation by helping me without much delay. As for the room accommodations, I was quite pleased. The room seemed upgraded since our last visit, and I loved the decor, jacuzzi, and kitchen appliances. Everything in the room was up to par for a relaxing stay.

    However, I did face a couple of issues during this visit. Typically, my family and I are placed close together within the resort, but this time, we were scattered across different areas. While I understand that accommodations can't always be altered, it was disappointing that we had to walk more and couldn't rely on buses or go-kart rides as conveniently as before. Most attendants refused rides, except for one exceptional staff member, Christian, who stood out with his willingness to help. This kind of customer service was sorely lacking among others, unfortunately.

    The main pool area was unusually packed when we visited, leaving us without enough tables or chairs since people were reserving spots by placing towels. This kind of crowding was a new experience for us. After parking challenges, where I had to leave my car far from my room because nearby parking was full, things became a bit more frustrating. Having shared all this, the room side of the Westgate experience was delightful as always, but the service and logistics left some room for improvement this time around.

    I was drawn to Westgate after considering a timeshare there. My overall experience has always been positive, leading me to take advantage of their offerings once again, especially through my government program.

    Upon checking in, everything went smoothly, as it usually does with Westgate. They placed me conveniently close to stores, restaurants, and parks, just as I requested. This added to the comfort of my stay. The room itself was remarkable, akin to a spacious condominium. It featured a jacuzzi, a large shower in the master bedroom, another room with two queen-sized beds, a fully equipped kitchen, dining and living rooms, and an enclosed balcony with a screen. It was truly outstanding.

    Sadly, I couldn't finish my stay due to a family emergency, prompting me to leave two days early. Despite this, every aspect of my stay, from check-in to the accommodations, left a great impression. They even had convenient food accommodations like ice cream shops and a small market with basic essentials. The pizza place within Westgate was particularly delightful, making incredible pizzas, which stood out for me, a self-proclaimed tough critic when it comes to food.

    We wanted accommodations as close to the end of the Strip as possible. My overall experience was wonderful – the rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and the attached tavern served excellent food. However, I'm disappointed due to an unresolved issue with Westgate. A $50 incidental charge was placed on my card on June 28th and, despite being informed that the amount would be released, it has yet to be refunded to me. It's been significant time, during which I've called and emailed multiple times but haven't received a satisfactory resolution. But other than that, I love the hotel.

    Westgate Resorts was conveniently located close to an event I planned to attend, which was the deciding factor for me. I arrived at the resort quite late at night and appreciated the seamless check-in process. I'd received several text messages encouraging me to pre-register to make check-in easier, but I found that regardless of these steps, the actual check-in only took around five minutes, making it a painless experience.

    Interacting with the staff during check-in was straightforward and quick. The accommodation itself lived up to expectations. Although initially disappointed that our unit was on the ground floor with a view of the parking lot instead of the water, I found it convenient for quick access to my car. This turned out more advantageous than anticipated.

    The resort offered a variety of entertainment options, such as an arcade, a few dining spots, and mini-golf, all of which were quite enjoyable. Well-placed nearby amenities like Whole Foods made off-resort grocery shopping easy, even though the resort has its own marketplace where we grabbed snacks.

    There were two minor downsides: the water park was smaller than expected, appealing mostly to young children, and the lack of modern smart TVs. Being used to streaming services, having only cable felt outdated. Additionally, charging our devices was cumbersome, as outlets weren't conveniently accessible near the bed.

    Overall, the resort met and exceeded my expectations with its value, convenience, and fun activities. It wasn't a five-star luxury resort, but for what it was, I'd certainly recommend it to friends seeking a similar experience.

    I made the choice to stay at Westgate Resort after having a pleasant prior experience there. I had to be in town for a funeral, and knowing that the rooms had been renovated only added to my decision to stay.     I like that Westgate Resorts have a wide array of amenities on-site. The room I stayed in was updated, very clean, modern, and offered picturesque views. Although there were many activities available, I chose to relax instead. The standout part of my experience was the exceptional customer service.     Traveling from Louisiana, I asked my wife to find us a nice spot to rest overnight, and Westgate's offerings stood out. The resort provided numerous activities, from volleyball to mini-golf and multiple pools, which appealed to us.

    As a Westgate Las Vegas owner, I was appalled at this disgusting property. It is NOT a resort, by any stretch of the imagination. Booking reservations in Gatlinburg via Westgate is VERY DECEPTIVE. My wife and I called the Smoky Mountain property for a reservation. When we arrived (June2025), they told us we were at the wrong resort. We were at the River Terrace. When we pulled up to this place, we were shocked at how rundown and disgusting this place is. Yes, the location is fantastic, but this is NOT worthy of being a Westgate property. Also very deceptive are the 'resort amenities'. Advertises two pools, which is not true. Only one small pool to accommodate more guests than it can handle.

    There is no on-site dining option, though they lead you to believe there is. It's been closed for years. Rooms are a nice size, but very dated. Everything about this place screams 1960s, but without the charm. Need ice, go in search of a machine that works. Pleasant staff, some more helpful than others. The first night we were there, we returned to our room and there were 5 police cars and an ambulance. The police were on our floor trying to talk someone out of a room. Again, this is not a resort, but an overpriced budget hotel. I am ashamed to be a Westgate owner now.

    From when we went there, we liked the accommodation that we were in. And it's pretty much more so with my husband than I. We liked the fact that the facility was very clean, and by having allergies, we don't care too much for a lot of carpet on the floor, so that was a plus as well. The people there were very nice and considerate, so we enjoyed that.

    I got into the hot tub, and I walked through to the exercising room. I thought all that was good, especially with going into the exercise room, and also into the building where you had to have a card in order to get in. Anybody just couldn’t walk in, so I liked that.

    We went into the Starbucks place. We also ordered something from there. It was very good. And the price was good too.

    My experience at Westgate is always amazing. I feel like I never have to leave the resort. I get to relax. All their swimming pools, the rooms or the condos, are amazing. It's always my favorite place to go. Checking in is very easy. You pull up to the building, and go to the counter. And they check you in. It takes five minutes.

    The food is good but I wish they had a few more options. For instance, the restaurant sometimes has breakfast and sometimes not. I just wish they always had breakfast, and that there was another restaurant on site. There's only one restaurant on site, Draft. It's a bar and grill, which is great. But other locations, like the one in Kissimmee, have an Italian restaurant. It would be nice to add another eating option. For those of us that don't wanna leave the resort, we would have something else.

    I've used the spa for manicure/pedicure services. We spend most of our time at any one of the seven pools that they have, or hot tubs. We love mini golf, paddle boarding, bowling, pickleball, and basketball. There's always something to do. My kids look forward to it every year.

    My son and daughter-in-law had an amazing experience at Westgate and it was referred to me. It was a great getaway. The check-in process was very nice, including being able to say when we were estimated to be arriving. It was explained that it doesn't guarantee anything 'cause you just never know when the last people left and with cleaning the room. But everything was really nice. Geo was very, very professional, very polite, and even sent text messages and replied any time I had a question. Overall, everyone had a great disposition. The checkout process was practically nothing. Because we had the option, we were told to either leave the key in the room or take it to the front desk. But I wanted to get a copy of the printout of our charges.

    I wish I could have taken advantage of the fact that it was our anniversary. I didn't know I should tell them and that they had special things for anniversary stuff, that you could have an extra room.The website doesn't say that. It would be nice if that's updated. So, they gave us these $5 complimentary for the different things that they have going on. The problem is that we were going to places during the day so we were unable to take advantage of those. I returned them and let them know, "Thank you," and they could share them with someone else instead of us.

    I was concerned about the Jacuzzi tub. In our room, there’s this metal thing that was barely even on. It was not even screwed on. It was set in place. So, that would probably need to get replaced just for safety purposes for someone. What I did is I took that metal thing and put it outside the tub, on the edge so they could see that it was not affixed.

    The type of silverware and glasses was high-end. I was actually very impressed. We were pleased because the bathroom was nice and spacious. The bed was very firm, which is perfect. We actually had a great night's sleep. My husband liked the couch as it helped his back.

    Because I like to cook, I brought certain things with me not knowing what they had. In the kitchen, the basics were there. I ended up cooking most of our meals. Now, I know when I go there what I'm gonna have to pack. I brought my own knives because I'm particular what I would use 'cause you never know. I like very, very sharp knives. But for basic cooking things, there’s no rubber scraper. There were plastic things because there were two nonstick pans but there were not sufficient types of measuring spoons or dry measuring cups.

    I was fine and was able to get around it. Besides, I also pre-measured everything that we brought. For oatmeal, I pre-measured it at home and put it in a Ziploc baggie. But someone else who might be flying in, they're not gonna be able to bring all those sorts of things. And so, it might make their stay much more enjoyable if they had extra things.

    We stayed at Westgate, River Terrace. It was very nice for the price. We understood that it was a little bit lower price than some of the others, but they had everything that we needed. It definitely was in need of some upkeep. But everyone was very nice and helpful.

    The check-in was fine, except we're older women. I'm on oxygen. My sister-in-law is on a cane. So, our issue was where we were going to be. We had to walk up a ramp to get to the elevator and then had to go up to whatever floor. When we said, "Wow, that's gonna be really hard," the lady was just a sweetheart. She said, "Well, how about a room on the lower floor? I think we've got one." So, they were able to give us a perfect room right where we could park our car so we could go right into the room. It ended up being just perfect for us. We appreciated the fact that they were able to change things up right away. It made it very, very easy for us to just go in and out of the room. They were very willing to step up with anything that we may have needed. In fact, the one lady, when we came in that night, actually helped us unpack the car and move the stuff into the room. They were very, very nice.

    However, they only offered coffee in the morning and a little, teeny yogurt, and some type of wraps, Danish. That was the only food there. Unless you went to the vending machine, but we don't do that. So we went out to eat and that worked out.

He had informed me that they could take us anywhere on the property, which I didn't know, as no one ever told me that. But he was really friendly and informative. We did the activities in the resort.     I love the location and I like the amenities. The thing that I'm seeing that's going wrong with it is cleanliness. Our bathroom had hairs in the shower. I had to clean all that myself. The floor didn't feel like it really had been swept or mopped.

    This particular trip was for our grandkids. We went to one of the little events they had for children. It was supposed to be a little arts and crafts thing. First of all, nobody showed up on time. When they did show up, they just dumped out a bunch of Easter eggs. This was last month so Easter was way over. They just gave us markers to color them and that was it. I didn't think that was very well-planned out or it just seemed like a waste of time. I was looking around at the facility. This place would be really awesome if it could be revived,if it had pickleball courts for the adults. A lot more people would be interested.

    We had pizza and it was terrible. The pizza was really not good at all. We had Starbucks and that was fine, every day. I really loved having that right there by it. The game center prices were really high. It was like $3 for a game. If we take kids to a place like that and they want to play several of the games, we would spend a lot of money. That was just a little bit over the top.

    But I love the pool area. It was very nice and clean. The towels out there were really clean. I could see that they were trying to make improvements to the ground. So, that was nice. I was glad to see that. I think more flowers around would make it a little bit more inviting. That's the second time we've been there.

    The hotel beds were comfortable. I love the size of the refrigerator in the room. That was really nice. And personally, I would rather have some type of chair in the room as I would that little table because we just don't have anywhere to sit down beside on the beds. Other than that, I love it there. I just hope that it starts going up instead of continuing to kind of go down.

    I like the facility and I love that it's gated. There's some good things there. But I'm not sure I will go back unless it improves.

    Westgate is a very nice place to be, right on the beach. I really enjoyed my time there. You're allowed to have dogs there. The only thing about it was that there's no restaurant actually at the hotel. You have to go out of the hotel and down the street to a restaurant. I was actually hoping for something right there. But it's in a spot where you're close to restaurants. There is a lot of activity that goes on during the weekend in the area at the moment. The lazy river is very nice. I did not get to go into the pool but the tiki bar is nice, too. Everything was fine. The staff was very busy taking care of the rooms constantly.

    We had been there before and we liked it. We just walk across half a block and we’re on the main strip. It's nice to sit by the river. However, this time, the amenities weren't all that great. The restaurant was closed. We didn't like that.

    The staff was great. They were all friendly and nice. If we needed something, they got it for us. However, they didn't clean the rooms every day. Actually, they didn't do it any day we were there and we were there for three days. And that's the way they do it. You just go get something if you need it. I didn't like that. That was another reason I'm not gonna go back.

    There was an indoor water park in Gatlinburg area and I got a decent deal to to stay there. Check-in was fairly quick and seamless. People at the counter were very nice. As far as it goes, it's up there as far as being very easy and pain-free. The customer service was very good. The amenities were excellent. The pools are by the cabins. They were very nice. The water park itself was very nice and clean. They always had fresh towels.

    The food was not great, but it was pretty good. We went to the Southern Comfort bar and grill. Their signature drink was an old fashioned, which is what I drink most places I go, and that was horrible. I sent it back. I told him that it was not really an old fashioned. The first one I had was actually decent. But the one that they brought after that and the one following that was very subpar. If you're gonna brag on something as being your signature drink for your restaurant, that should probably be on point.

    I stayed at Westgate a lot as a child. I definitely would recommend them. Reservations were seamless. We used the pool and the mini golf, and there was a kitchen, so we cooked. Recreational activities were great, too. The facility that we stayed in was a little bit outdated, though. There were cracks in the wall where it had been painted over, and there were little bugs.     The resort's food options were good. We tried the Mexican place and the one near the ice cream by Starbucks. We visited the water park, and it was enjoyable. There were a lot of people, and the crowd was big, but for that area, I think it’s fine.

    There was an issue with the lift. It kept opening and closing all night, and we kept hearing a ding every few minutes. It was slightly disturbing our sleep. We were busy, so we didn’t tell the staff at the time, but I mentioned it in my review.

    I was searching Westgate looked attractive. The pricing seemed right, and it was right on the beach. It had some of the amenities that I was looking for. So, it just sort of all came together. It's fine. Perfect. The staff there was great, I have nothing but compliments for them.

    A family member of ours has a fifth wheel property at Westgate Resorts. We brought our own food since we were celebrating a holiday weekend. We basically hung out with them and went to the farmer’s market on Saturday and Sunday. They had two that day. There was a pool, and they’re building a water park. We did the petting zoo and went out to see the horses.
    The only thing was that we tried to go to the saloon, but it’s not open during the day. It doesn’t open until later. We drove around the property in their golf cart and visited the stores. Everything was very nice.

    What we paid was a little higher than I expected, but I completely understand that. They’ve kept the property super clean, and they need to pay their employees. Everyone was friendly. It’s definitely a place we’d return to and go to the rodeo and do things like that next time.
