I like the fact that the Westgate Resort had several pools. It was child-friendly and not too far from other amenities. The location wasn't bad at all, coming in from New York. The staff was absolutely stupendous. The food’s pretty good. There was one place in particular I was interested in but it was under renovation.. I can't wait to get back.

From when we went there, we liked the accommodation that we were in. And it's pretty much more so with my husband than I. We liked the fact that the facility was very clean, and by having allergies, we don't care too much for a lot of carpet on the floor, so that was a plus as well. The people there were very nice and considerate, so we enjoyed that.
I got into the hot tub, and I walked through to the exercising room. I thought all that was good, especially with going into the exercise room, and also into the building where you had to have a card in order to get in. Anybody just couldn’t walk in, so I liked that.
We went into the Starbucks place. We also ordered something from there. It was very good. And the price was good too.

We made the reservation through booking. We chose Westgate because of the placement of the resort. We like the view from it and the place, in general. The staff was friendly when we checked in and out. The whole stay was a good thing. We are thinking about redoing it again in the future. We went to the swimming pool, the infinity pool. The water park and the service there was amazing. Even the people there were friendly, because there was a thunderstorm, and they refunded us because we entered, then the storm started and they stopped. They refunded us, which was fair and good service. We also tried the restaurant there. It was good. Everything was awesome. So, we will recommend it to anybody who wants to visit the place there.

Westgate Resorts is fun and very family-friendly. We enjoyed all the activities that were on site. I would definitely be coming back. I like all the amenities they had and how everything it came with was included.. I like the on-site activities too. They have a pool. They had wine glass paintings and tie-dye shirts. They have on-site mini golf, chess, and little fun activities. They have on-site barbecue pits that were gas, electric, which were a plus too. The staff are very helpful and nice. Also, I also enjoyed that the suite that we had came with everything as far as napkins, tissue, mop, and broom. The washer and dryer was a plus as well.

I enjoyed the swimming pools. I spent a lot of time in the pool, chatting with other people. I also enjoyed walking. There were some stores very, very close that I could get food at.

My experience at Westgate is always amazing. I feel like I never have to leave the resort. I get to relax. All their swimming pools, the rooms or the condos, are amazing. It's always my favorite place to go. Checking in is very easy. You pull up to the building, and go to the counter. And they check you in. It takes five minutes.
The food is good but I wish they had a few more options. For instance, the restaurant sometimes has breakfast and sometimes not. I just wish they always had breakfast, and that there was another restaurant on site. There's only one restaurant on site, Draft. It's a bar and grill, which is great. But other locations, like the one in Kissimmee, have an Italian restaurant. It would be nice to add another eating option. For those of us that don't wanna leave the resort, we would have something else.
I've used the spa for manicure/pedicure services. We spend most of our time at any one of the seven pools that they have, or hot tubs. We love mini golf, paddle boarding, bowling, pickleball, and basketball. There's always something to do. My kids look forward to it every year.

The Westgate location is very good. The room was fine but the drain for the tub didn't drain very well, so there was always ankle deep water on the shower. We had a handicap. It was kind of hard pushing the wheelchair up the ramps, but we managed. I wish they had handicap service.

My son and daughter-in-law had an amazing experience at Westgate and it was referred to me. It was a great getaway. The check-in process was very nice, including being able to say when we were estimated to be arriving. It was explained that it doesn't guarantee anything 'cause you just never know when the last people left and with cleaning the room. But everything was really nice. Geo was very, very professional, very polite, and even sent text messages and replied any time I had a question. Overall, everyone had a great disposition. The checkout process was practically nothing. Because we had the option, we were told to either leave the key in the room or take it to the front desk. But I wanted to get a copy of the printout of our charges.
I was concerned about the Jacuzzi tub. In our room, there’s this metal thing that was barely even on. It was not even screwed on. It was set in place. So, that would probably need to get replaced just for safety purposes for someone. What I did is I took that metal thing and put it outside the tub, on the edge so they could see that it was not affixed.
The type of silverware and glasses was high-end. I was actually very impressed. We were pleased because the bathroom was nice and spacious. The bed was very firm, which is perfect. We actually had a great night's sleep. My husband liked the couch as it helped his back.Because I like to cook, I brought certain things with me not knowing what they had. In the kitchen, the basics were there. I ended up cooking most of our meals. Now, I know when I go there what I'm gonna have to pack. I brought my own knives because I'm particular what I would use 'cause you never know. I like very, very sharp knives. But for basic cooking things, there’s no rubber scraper. There were plastic things because there were two nonstick pans but there were not sufficient types of measuring spoons or dry measuring cups.
I was fine and was able to get around it. Besides, I also pre-measured everything that we brought. For oatmeal, I pre-measured it at home and put it in a Ziploc baggie. But someone else who might be flying in, they're not gonna be able to bring all those sorts of things. And so, it might make their stay much more enjoyable if they had extra things.

We stayed at Westgate, River Terrace. It was very nice for the price. We understood that it was a little bit lower price than some of the others, but they had everything that we needed. It definitely was in need of some upkeep. But everyone was very nice and helpful.
The check-in was fine, except we're older women. I'm on oxygen. My sister-in-law is on a cane. So, our issue was where we were going to be. We had to walk up a ramp to get to the elevator and then had to go up to whatever floor. When we said, "Wow, that's gonna be really hard," the lady was just a sweetheart. She said, "Well, how about a room on the lower floor? I think we've got one." So, they were able to give us a perfect room right where we could park our car so we could go right into the room. It ended up being just perfect for us. We appreciated the fact that they were able to change things up right away. It made it very, very easy for us to just go in and out of the room. They were very willing to step up with anything that we may have needed. In fact, the one lady, when we came in that night, actually helped us unpack the car and move the stuff into the room. They were very, very nice.
However, they only offered coffee in the morning and a little, teeny yogurt, and some type of wraps, Danish. That was the only food there. Unless you went to the vending machine, but we don't do that. So we went out to eat and that worked out.

I recently returned to Westgate as I’d been there before. The service was great, especially this one guy, Miguel. He was driving around a golf cart. He had informed me that they could take us anywhere on the property, which I didn't know, as no one ever told me that. But he was really friendly and informative. We did the activities in the resort. We didn't eat at the restaurants though as I utilized the kitchen. The amenities are good. But the movie selections are geared towards smaller children. I went with my 14-year-old. So

I love the location and I like the amenities. The thing that I'm seeing that's going wrong with it is cleanliness. Our bathroom had hairs in the shower. I had to clean all that myself. The floor didn't feel like it really had been swept or mopped.
This particular trip was for our grandkids. We went to one of the little events they had for children. It was supposed to be a little arts and crafts thing. First of all, nobody showed up on time. When they did show up, they just dumped out a bunch of Easter eggs. This was last month so Easter was way over. They just gave us markers to color them and that was it. I didn't think that was very well-planned out or it just seemed like a waste of time. I was looking around at the facility. This place would be really awesome if it could be revived,if it had pickleball courts for the adults. A lot more people would be interested.
We had pizza and it was terrible. The pizza was really not good at all. We had Starbucks and that was fine, every day. I really loved having that right there by it. The game center prices were really high. It was like $3 for a game. If we take kids to a place like that and they want to play several of the games, we would spend a lot of money. That was just a little bit over the top.But I love the pool area. It was very nice and clean. The towels out there were really clean. I could see that they were trying to make improvements to the ground. So, that was nice. I was glad to see that. I think more flowers around would make it a little bit more inviting. That's the second time we've been there.
The hotel beds were comfortable. I love the size of the refrigerator in the room. That was really nice. And personally, I would rather have some type of chair in the room as I would that little table because we just don't have anywhere to sit down beside on the beds. Other than that, I love it there. I just hope that it starts going up instead of continuing to kind of go down.I like the facility and I love that it's gated. There's some good things there. But I'm not sure I will go back unless it improves.

Westgate is a very nice place to be, right on the beach. I really enjoyed my time there. You're allowed to have dogs there. The only thing about it was that there's no restaurant actually at the hotel. You have to go out of the hotel and down the street to a restaurant. I was actually hoping for something right there. But it's in a spot where you're close to restaurants. There is a lot of activity that goes on during the weekend in the area at the moment. The lazy river is very nice. I did not get to go into the pool but the tiki bar is nice, too. Everything was fine. The staff was very busy taking care of the rooms constantly.

We just went to Myrtle Beach and we had an amazing time. The room was absolutely beautiful. All of the events that Westgate did with the kids and the adults and the dancing up by the pool was really fun. Everything was clean and the staff was wonderful.

We had been there before and we liked it. We just walk across half a block and we’re on the main strip. It's nice to sit by the river. However, this time, the amenities weren't all that great. The restaurant was closed. We didn't like that.
The staff was great. They were all friendly and nice. If we needed something, they got it for us. However, they didn't clean the rooms every day. Actually, they didn't do it any day we were there and we were there for three days. And that's the way they do it. You just go get something if you need it. I didn't like that. That was another reason I'm not gonna go back.

There was an indoor water park in Gatlinburg area and I got a decent deal to to stay there. Check-in was fairly quick and seamless. People at the counter were very nice. As far as it goes, it's up there as far as being very easy and pain-free. The customer service was very good. The amenities were excellent. The pools are by the cabins. They were very nice. The water park itself was very nice and clean. They always had fresh towels.
The food was not great, but it was pretty good. We went to the Southern Comfort bar and grill. Their signature drink was an old fashioned, which is what I drink most places I go, and that was horrible. I sent it back. I told him that it was not really an old fashioned. The first one I had was actually decent. But the one that they brought after that and the one following that was very subpar. If you're gonna brag on something as being your signature drink for your restaurant, that should probably be on point.

Westgate Resorts popped up with a very good price when I was surfing the web for hotel places to stay. Checking in was nice, and the ladies at the front desk were perfect. It was around Easter time then, and I was glad they did have something for the kids like the Easter egg hunt. That kept them busy. As for myself, I was satisfied with going in the hot tub in the pool. It was the second time we were there, and I enjoyed both times.

Checking in and out at Westgate Resorts was real simple. They were waiting for us, and the reservation was there. I had a couple of different options for dropping off the key. I could go to the front desk or I could leave it at the front gate.
The location was excellent and really convenient. We made three turns off of the main highway, and we were there. The place was really secure and pet-friendly. The pricing was convenient and fair.

I had a great time with Westgate. Checking in was super easy and they were very accommodable. The compressor broke in the first room that we had and they accommodated us right away. They even upgraded us to a two-bedroom apartment.

Someone I know had stayed at Westgate. We went there with my children for my daughter’s birthday. We went there for the water park and the amenities. Both Check-in and Check-out were easy. I didn't even have to go to the front desk to check out. The kids participated in activities like the Easter egg hunt. I'm getting ready to book again for Myrtle Beach.

I stayed at Westgate a lot as a child. I definitely would recommend them. Reservations were seamless. We used the pool and the mini golf, and there was a kitchen, so we cooked. Recreational activities were great, too. The facility that we stayed in was a little bit outdated, though. There were cracks in the wall where it had been painted over, and there were little bugs. But other than that, it was perfect.

We were looking for an oceanfront property and found Westgate. On the website, the rating was not as good as any of the other more expensive places down the road, so we were skeptical about it, but we went there and it was astronomically better than the rating they gave it. Louis was the one that checked us in. I just walked up to the counter and gave him my piece of paper and we were done in about five minutes. It was very easy.

The resort's food options were good. We tried the Mexican place and the one near the ice cream by Starbucks. We visited the water park, and it was enjoyable. There were a lot of people, and the crowd was big, but for that area, I think it’s fine.
There was an issue with the lift. It kept opening and closing all night, and we kept hearing a ding every few minutes. It was slightly disturbing our sleep. We were busy, so we didn’t tell the staff at the time, but I mentioned it in my review.

We ordered some sandwiches for the beach, but we didn't dine at the resort. They're great, but this is just a small, very tiny thing. I went in there hoping that they sold roast beef or turkey sandwiches, something for on the beach, and they had nothing like that. The sandwiches we got were good. We got the Chicken and avocado sandwiches. So, they were fine. Everything else was absolutely perfect.

What we paid was a little higher than I expected, but I completely understand that. They’ve kept the property super clean, and they need to pay their employees. Everyone was friendly. It’s definitely a place we’d return to and go to the rodeo and do things like that next time.

We stayed at Westgate for one night, check-in and check-out went great, the room was very nice and clean, and it was convenient for us. The bathroom facility was fine, except the shower height was too low for me. But cost-wise, it was the right choice.

We wanted to be oceanfront, and Westgate came up on my Choice app, but we were there for one night, so we didn't do any other activities. Everybody was very friendly and the room was good. Only issue I had was the shower wasn't all that awesome. Other than that, we had a pleasant time and a great experience, and we’re going back there.

We go to Orlando all the time for my kids’ spring break or just vacation. I was just Googling and it pulled up different resorts and hotels. I chose Westgate because of the amenities, the price, the location and very good reviews. Their customer service was A1. When I notice that I'm getting treated well, I do recognize that. Every question I had, and I had a lot of questions, there was a response back in under five minutes. They went above and beyond.

I went to Westgate for a conference. The amenities in the resort were gorgeous. I liked having everything right there and I liked the bar I went to. I did have a few issues. When I checked in, they didn’t give me a map. There was also no TV channel guide or general information in the room.

We chose Westgate because of its location during our trip to Gatlinburg. It was within walking distance to downtown. The check-in was very simple. They let us choose a late check-out since I had to be in convention with my son the day we checked out. They offered a small continental breakfast and what we had was good. They were pet-friendly and very accommodating. We did not do much in the resort because this is the smaller of the resorts. It has no indoor pool, and everything was outdoors. We just stayed in the room while we were there. However, the property needs to be upgraded. It's older and needs some freshening up.

This is our second time staying at Westgate this spring. The first time, we swam, because everything else was under construction and there was nothing else to do. The pool was very warm and very clean. The second time, my husband and I played Skee-Ball. Check in was a little slow. It seemed like they took a long time on their computers, and then I had to sign a jillion things. I like the updated rooms. The first visit, I loved that there wasn't carpet in the rooms, but our feet were all brown from walking on the floor. They looked very clean, but they might need to change their mop water more often. The second time we stayed, they put us right by the dumpster. It was right behind our car. I got a really good price on the room, but the resort was not full. It wasn't very appetizing because the dumpster was less than 100 feet from where we walked out of our room. If I paid a premium price for that room, I would have been disappointed.

Westgate was under construction on some of the amenities. They were still building a bowling alley and something else. We didn’t use the pool, but there was a place to buy pizza and other food, and there was also a Starbucks there.
We stayed there for two nights. The rooms were very well kept, and we didn’t have any problems. It was a beautiful place to stay, and we had a good time.

I’ve known about Westgate in the past because we used to own at their Florida location. Recently, I came down for a family gathering at Westgate. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, and the location was the main reason we spent most of our time outside the hotel. Their customer service was good, and I was impressed with how well they kept the properties clean. As for the price, with everything going up nowadays, it was okay.
The rooms were nice and clean, though they don't offer a lot of channels. Then again, I get that you’re really just there to relax and sleep, not spend much time in the room.

I’ve been to New York multiple times, and this location was great, very central and close to Times Square, the tour buses, and everything else. The staff was friendly, and we liked the little bar and the Starbucks downstairs. We really enjoyed our stay.
The check-in was great and everyone was super friendly. We did have some loud neighbors, but that wasn’t Westgate’s fault. In New York, we usually go out exploring most of the time anyway. The beds were comfortable, and it was good. We’ll probably stay there again soon with my two older boys.

For best value and convenience, go to Westgate. We had a great time at Westgate Pigeon Forge. The staff was top-notch, and we had no issues at all. When we got there, they accommodated us to a different room that was just a two-level apartment hotel. We didn't want to be on the top level, and they gave us a room at the main level, no questions asked. The room was smaller than we expected but it fit what we needed, it was clean, very well kept, the food was fantastic and well-priced.

Checking in at Westgate Resorts was simple, and checking out was even easier because we could just leave our stuff at the gate. The food options were great. We got pizza a couple of times on different nights, and it was good. They make them right there, homemade. It’s not just a frozen pizza.
The location was fine. The price was right. We went down to play golf. We played seven different courses in the six days that we were there. They had a basketball and volleyball court, and my son played around with other kids.
I’d say everything about it was great except for the Wi-Fi in our room that did not work. We called a different helpline, and they never got it resolved. They said they’d call us once they did, but it's not a big deal since we have cellphones these days. It would have been a nice thing to have working.

The location where our room was was decent, and the place was clean and pretty well kept up. My sister-in-law has a timeshare with Westgate Resorts that's why went there. We used the pool and the hot tub, but those were really the only activities we did while we were there. The people with us had some issues with their door, but maintenance was there within a half hour or so to fix it, which was good.
The worst part about the whole thing was probably the check-in. We showed up at 4:00 and they told us the rooms weren't ready and that it would be a little bit. We left for about two hours, but then they called and said, “Well, we couldn’t get that room ready, so we’re getting you other rooms.” That was a little bit of a pain in the butt.

I had a beautiful time at Westgate. I normally stay at Westgate in Orlando, but because I was going for a rodeo theme, I found the Westgate Rodeo Ranch. It was a perfect match for what I was looking for to celebrate my birthday. Checking in and out was very easy, and I had no problems at all. They had great food options, like the barbecue. They fit the resort, and everythng was perfect to me. We went to the saloon, did the Swamp Buggy, and attended the rodeo, which was amazing.

Everything about the stay was great. I’m skeptical when I go do tourist things and thought it’s going to be rinky-dink, but I was pleasantly surprised. I chose Westgate because they worked with my bank for discounted prices. They had a water park and it was supposed to rain, so it sounded like a good idea for my daughter.
The room was in good condition. We just had one of the light bulbs start to go out, which is not a big deal.
I didn’t think the arcade was gonna be worth much, but it was actually a lot of fun, every bit as good as one on The Strip in Pigeon Forge. They had tons of prizes and a variety of games. We enjoyed the couple of hours we spent down there. My wife and I had a good time playing the chance games and winning a bunch of tickets for our daughter.
We didn’t do the putt-putt, but we met a lot of people there who did and they enjoyed the course.
There was a lot more to do than I thought there was gonna be in the water park. The only bad thing at all about our stay was just us getting sick and not being able to order what we wanted at the water park. They were out of three-quarters of their menu, which is pretty substantial - no wings, salads, nachos, ranch. Maybe it was just a bad day that we went.
We got an order of fried pickles, my daughter’s favorite, and ended up getting food poisoning. It was the day before we were gonna go home, so we spent the whole day in the room sick, not wanting to get anybody else sick. They sent me a survey after my stay, and I put everything down on there, so they should be aware of that.

I love Westgate Resorts. The one in Orlando is the one we’ve been going to for years. I like to go there because my wife and I enjoy it. It's reasonably priced. I could go elsewhere, but the people there are nice and are more than helpful.
I also like it because I like to cook there. I have everything that allows me to cook because my stomach doesn't allow me to just keep eating out. The facility is right downtown, so you can also go to Italian restaurants or whatever you wanna have. I also like the resort because it has Banana Cabana, where we can walk to have cocktail and snacks. I like the Drafts pub for hamburgers and beer.
At the front desk, Christina is just fabulous. I can't say enough about her. This year, she helped us with a small issue about a booking.

We used a booking website app, and Wesgate had the best price for seven people, so we went with that. The check-in and check-out process was great. The pool was great. We wanted to do the hot tub, but it was out of season and closed. We had breakfast at the resort on Sunday, and the options were good.
The only real problem was the internet and the microwave. They got somebody to put another microwave from another room, so that worked, but they said the internet was not going to be looked at until it was Sunday, after we’d already left. We didn’t get credit for that.
I was looking forward to the mini golf, but the course was torn down. They were doing a lot of construction there to revamp stuff. They’re remodeling on that particular property, which I’m looking forward to on the next visit.

We were bringing my son for spring break and Westgate had a water park. We wound up not even going to the water park because we stayed for only a day. But the hotel, I love the room. That was the most important thing for us was the stay was very comfortable for us. Checking in and out were fine too.

We booked Westgate for my son’s baseball tournament. Some other parents had stayed there previously and recommended it so we all just chose to stay there. The check in was good and quick. I was in line behind three people and it moved along so there was no delay.
I had two room accommodations. Last minute, I decided to stay on Friday night so I called in to add another night. I was in one room category on Friday and then a different room category on Saturday. I checked in and out but that was me because I didn’t wanna leave at 4:00 in the morning. I just wanted to go head and stay there again. The only thing was the toilet chain was rusted and wouldn’t stay up so it was just constant running. I told front desk about it and they replaced the handle.
The very next week, I was working in Vegas and I stayed next to the Westgate, which I was assuming was the same company. The first day was check-in so I didn’t really have any of my coworkers with me. I went by myself and I was trying to find somewhere to sit down. They offered pizza and wings. It was a little court area where you could see all the sport TVs. It was nice to just have an open seating area. It also had a sushi place but they weren’t serving sushi that night and that’s what I was going for. It was like an Asian bistro and it was good. They have lots of options and I ate at those two places while I was there.
I would recommend Westgate. The Vegas location was fair priced and the Branson one really accommodated us. They made sure that all of us were together. We were all over the place, on different floors or levels. But they put us in the same building and in the same floor. We were all next to each other. We hung outside in the parking lot ‘cause it’s a two-level one-building type. So we had all our baseball chairs and we hung out there and ordered some pizza for the boys.
The website is good. But it was almost like it was with a tournament where it was linked. Once we clicked on Westgate, we only had two choices a room. It was easy but I was not used to doing things like that ‘cause I do travel a lot.

The check-in and check-out process at Westgate was really easy. I had a really positive experience. The restaurant there was the best bite I had on my entire trip. The only thing I would complain about is that the walls were really thin. We were on the bottom floor, so we could hear everything that was going on. Our neighbors did laundry at midnight, so that kept us up for two hours. That was the only thing I would complain about.
Other than that, they were super accommodating. I was with my boyfriend and he was on crutches and they were able to get us a room where he didn't have to go upstairs. The trolleys were also nice. We just went to the pool at the resort, but we didn't do anything else that they provided. We were just there for a couple of days and we were mostly in town.

I took my son, daughter-in-law and the grandkids to Westgate River Ranch and we had a great time. We did everything from horseback/pony rides, to fishing, to rock climbing, and the Rodeo was exceptional. We ate at the barbecue place and the food was good. It was a little expensive, but that's the world we live in now. The only eyesore that left a little negative thought was one of the bathrooms had mold and mildew on the shower door and the tile, which was not very sightly and sanitary either. The other thing is the foldout couch had no bed linens, no sheets. We called it in, they delivered the next morning, so we worked through it, no big deal. But it’s something they can look into going forward. Everything else was very positive.

I've been an owner at Westgate Resorts for years. The process of checking in and out was easy and excellent. Everyone I encountered was absolutely nice and helpful. I had a great experience. I loved it.
One thing is that they should make the recreation activities known before check-in because they texted me while I was there, but I was already doing something else when they said they have a movie night, ice cream social, or something like that. If I would’ve known in advance of my stay, then I could have put it into my itinerary.

It was just a quick trip to Florida. I chose Westgate because of the price. It was under 100 bucks a night, and I got a room with a huge living room.. I had a living room, a kitchen, a dining room, a patio, a jacuzzi tub, and two bathrooms.
I found that the rooms actually look way better in person than they do on the pictures, so I even told the people at the front desk that those photos didn't do them any good.

We thought Westgate Resorts was something new. My husband and I decided to try them because the resort looks nice. Checking in was smooth and wonderful. There was quite a bit of a line. We knew it was very popular because we waited for a while, but the counter was full. The staff that checked us in were so informative, upbeat, and wonderful.
We had a little bit of an issue with the pizza place, but it wasn’t their fault. Their printer ran out of paper, and there were a few orders ahead of us that they didn’t know about. But otherwise, the food was fantastic and good.
We did like the adult pool. Our room was very nice, cozy, and clean. We were very happy with the price. We were shocked by what we paid, we thought it would have been more for what we got. We enjoyed it. We’ll be back there again on our next vacation.

I like the way Westgate Resorts is as set up apartment style. The people there were very nice. It was my second time staying, and I loved it from the first time. Check-in was quick and easy. It was a breeze. The rooms were perfect. Everything was set up just nice. I love the fact that they had things that you can use as far as cooking, cups, and things like that.
We only stayed overnight, but the check-out was even faster than checking in. The staff were very attentive. I needed some more covers. I called down there and they came right up right away. Anything that we needed, like getting the TV to work, they sent someone right up, got it jumpstarted. So, yes. Communication with them was awesome.

We chose to stay at Westgate Resort for a basketball tournament because everyone on the team was saying they wanted to stay there, and we had children from the team with us. When we got there, the line for check-in was long and it didn't move relatively quick, but whenever I finally got up there, the customer service was good. The room accommodations were nice, too.
The only thing is they really need to work on the parking. We weren’t able to park close to the building because it was mostly just a lot of handicap spaces and maybe three regular spaces. We had four children, so it was just a lot to bring up all our stuff.
Other than that, it was decent. We ate at the restaurant and it was good, and I’ll stay at Westgate Resort again.

We were traveling for a competition so I went online looking for a location close to the Orange County Convention Center where the competition was. Westgate Lake was not far from the location and a family stayed there who had a good experience. After looking at everything that was at the resort, we decided it was better for us. There were activities that my daughter and I were able to participate in throughout the day so that was great.
Our experience was very nice. From the time we arrived, everybody greeted us. They took us to our room and the room met the expectations. But the air conditioner may have stopped working. When we realized it, we phoned in to maintenance. They came out within 30 minutes and they said it was froze. They were gonna work on it to get it to defrost and the air started back working.
Also, I didn’t realize at first that the room was gonna have a jacuzzi in the middle of the bathroom. That was a shocker because we didn’t know it was gonna be there. But it had everything we needed. I enjoyed having at least a mini fridge so if we went to eat, we were able to bring our leftovers back and put them in the refrigerator. The microwave was a great because we were able to warm up our leftovers and eat later on that night.
I also like the lanai area. But I wish we had two chairs instead of one because both of us really couldn’t sit out at the same time unless we shared the chair. But everything was updated. The bedding was updated and the bed was soft. I had multiple pillows to choose from. The bathroom seemed to be more updated than the room itself. The only thing was the water pressure may have been all the way up when we flushed. But it would just take a longer time for the tank to fill back up.
The bellman was the first one we came in contact with and he was very helpful. He wrote down some helpful numbers for us. Even though he told us it was in our packet, he didn’t mind giving us the additional number.
We ate at two of the restaurants and both times, we had great experiences. We went to the store a few times and they had more stuff in there. We visited everything. My daughter had a hamburger one day, wings on another and pizza at the pizza parlor.
Everybody we came in contact with was helpful. They didn’t mind telling us how to get around the property. One person even brought a map and showed me where I was and where I needed to be. They showed me how to pull it up on my phone and kept it there. I didn’t realize I had gotten a text already telling me that I can download it and have it up so that was very helpful too. I’ve already referred them to friends. I have another daughter that plays volleyball and she has a tournament coming up in June. I’ve already given the information to everybody on the team.

The check-in with Westgate was all good. I registered and did everything online, so it was pretty much set and waiting on me when I walked in. I told them my name, they handed me my key and I went on to the room, which was very nice. We’ve stayed there twice before we became a member.
Everything was good, and they had great service. The people and security were great, walking around and checking on everything. I had no issues and no problems. They have a restaurant connected to the hotel, but we did not eat on-site.

We wanted to go out west to a dude ranch but it's such a long haul that when my friends found a dude ranch here in Florida, we said, “Great. That's for us.” They were fine once we got there, but like everything nowadays, you get multiple emails. I don't want a relationship. I just wanted to go to the thing and rent a hotel room. But everyone involved with it was very polite.
I went horseback riding, that was fine. The lady running it was fine. We both did skeet shooting. They called it trap shooting, and that was fine. The guy giving the lesson was wonderful. We rode in something called the swamp buggy, and that guy was very knowledgeable. He told us a lot of stuff about nature. Those three things were all a big hit, and that’s really why we went.
We also liked the rodeo because they didn't have calf roping, and no animals were being treated harshly. It was bucking broncos, and they were fine like that. Then people were riding around on horses. There was bull riding, but it wasn't harsh on either the bull or the rider. We thought we might have to leave during the rodeo if it was too harsh on the animals, but it was not at all.
They have some kind of a rib place, grill by the river, and we didn't think so much of the food there. The ribs seemed overdone. It's a dude ranch, so it's supposed to be real basic. Even though it's supposed to be down home and funky, you had to wait on yourself at the grill. You had to put it on a tray and eat off a paper plate. But the restaurant food was very good.
The hotel room had one main light. It was high up in the air between the two beds. It had two lamps on it, and you couldn't turn one off. We had a person in each bed, and you couldn't read without the other person being flooded with light. The thing was so high up. When you're lying in bed and trying to read, it's shining right in your eyes, so we found the room was not very comfortable.
It had a good bathroom and a nice little kitchenette. The beds were comfortable. The towels were hidden under the cupboard, but we finally found that. We called and said we needed more towels and pillows. That was the other thing. There were two queen beds, and they gave you one pillow for each bed. Mostly, it was the lighting that was really tough. For what we were paying, $180 a night, it's a very stripped-down hotel room. Tile floors and nothing fancy.
We would recommend, and we did recommend it to friends. We loved the open space. They said that ranch is 1,700 acres and it butts up to 8,000 acres of preserve. The best part was the open space, and the help were all extremely polite and nice. We had booked for four nights, and on the last day, it was raining. It was supposed to rain all day. We went down to the desk and said we were gonna go ahead and leave that morning. They said, “Okay. We won't charge you for tonight.” That was very nice of them.

It was really great location for us. It wasn’t Westgate’s fault that construction was really bad right where we were, and we found a way to work around it. Checking in was a little difficult. We wanted to be in the same place together, and they had booked different rooms than I did, but in order for me to be the same location, they needed to downgrade my hotel room, and I wouldn’t get any of my money back even though I was getting a different room. They said the room that I had was hard to get and they didn't like to give those away. So, I was surprised that they weren’t willing to give me the difference between the room that I got. I wish it was clearer when I was booking my room, so I could have avoided that and saved my money since I didn't stay in a nicer room anyway.
There are some aspects of the room that need to be upgraded. The sliding door was very hard to move. Every time I would try to move the blinds, they would break. So, just some minor upgrades. But I left my AirPod behind, and they immediately sent security to retrieve it, and mailed it to me in a very reasonable time frame. The hot tubs are located in very convenient places, and even though it was a chillier weekend, the heated pools made it comfortable for the kids to still enjoy a little Florida weather, even though it wasn't as warm as expected. It was unseasonably cool the time we were there, so the heated pools definitely made it easy for us to enjoy ourselves while we were there.

We stayed at Westgate for our late anniversary/Valentine's getaway. It was the first one that had an availability and it seemed like a really nice place. It wasn't cheap either. We were going for nice, not cheap. Checking in was quick. They had a queue, but it moved very quickly, so it wasn't bad. Granted we didn't spend much time in the room, when we did, it was just in the evenings to eat dinner or to go to bed, and it was a very comfortable bed. The kitchenette was perfect for what we wanted, which was to cook for ourselves and not eat out every night. Overall, for what we did, we were very happy with it.
We've actually told several people since we've been back where we stayed and they said the price wasn’t bad even though to us being from East Tennessee, it was very expensive ‘cause it was $550 for three nights. It was a little bit pricey for what we're used to 'cause we live in a fairly rural area. But for the amenities that you'd get there if you were actually staying on the resort, the theme parks, and the fact that they did have shuttles going to them, that was pretty cool.
We did have an issue with the shower. We'd showered prior, so we knew how to do it, but it was giving us a problem. They came as quickly as possible and fixed it within seconds because it was apparently some kind of safety mechanism that we didn't know until we got them out there. We apologized for having them out needlessly, but they were cool. So, no issues with them, no issues with the actual room, no issues with anything. Everything was perfect.

My wife booked our stay with Westgate, and we picked them because of ease of use and location. Disney World, Universal, all that stuff that we did is all right there. The location is awesome.
Their staff was polite, responsive, and respectful. I didn’t have any negative experiences or concerns. The food options were good, though a little pricey, but for ease of use, everything was good. Also, they had the grocery store, or ‘market,’ all in one place, so it’s pretty nice to be one and done.
We got to do pretty much everything—swimming, bowling, golf, the water park, and everything that’s there. It was well worth the money. Though I didn’t pay for it because I had rewards points, it was free that way. Other than that, pricing was pretty comparable to everything else in the area.
My only complaint was that we went with a group of people, and we were the first to check in. We got the room we booked, but it was far away from all the main restaurants and swimming pools. We asked to be moved closer, but the only way was to upgrade rooms, and it cost me $600. Then we found out everybody else in our group who checked in after us got upgraded for free even though they had booked the same exact room as us.

My daughter rented a room at Westgate in Kissimmee, and we stayed there, too. I was gonna go by myself, and I didn't really want to because I knew I was gonna spend money on food, and I couldn’t afford it. My wife wanted to come along, and when my friend heard that he upgraded it to a massive two-bedroom and it was nice. He also brought his family with him. He was just trying to help me get away for a weekend.
We ate breakfast at First Watch and my wife enjoyed it. I'm big at watching UFC, and they had tons of ESPN sports on in the restaurant. I asked two different workers if they could turn it on, and no one turned it on. But maybe they considered UFC violent. We went to one swimming pool, and it was closed. We went to the other pool, and I'm not picky, but there was a tree over the Jacuzzi thing and leaves were in there. They had people there walking by, looking like they were monitoring the pool and needed to pay attention to that tree over that spot to take out the leaves regularly. They had some kind of lake event that we were gonna check out, but the lake was closed.
The biggest thing for me was the parking. That was a Debbie Downer for me. They didn’t enforce the handicap parking very well, and it was free-for-all, park wherever you can, so I had to park far away just to get a spot. And then the check-in line was long. Everybody was checking in, so I get it, and the line was moving, but it was borderline. It needs to be a little bit more efficient. But they're good ‘cause I left my debit card at the restaurant, and I noticed it a week later. I called, got through the security, and they had it. So, I drove up there and got it. My wife loved it. It's a good place and they have events. I used to do Uber and Lyft years ago, picked up and dropped off customers there all the time, so they got a great thing going on.

I travel for work and go to Orlando a few times a year. The company I work for puts us up at Westgate, and usually it’s pretty good. On my last two trips, it was more hectic. It felt more crowded, with newer staff and more issues with the rooms. I’ve already had to switch rooms three times this year. I’ve been there three times, and on one trip alone, I had to switch rooms twice.
They have a small pizza place and a sandwich shop, which are good. Most of the time, I drive up the road to Publix or Walmart to buy food because I’m usually there for 10 days or more. I cook in the room, which is the main reason they put a lot of us up at Westgate.
The staff is always great. The room issues and things being a little screwy are problems with the resort itself, but the staff is always amazing. The front desk, service staff are all very helpful and friendly whenever we need anything and during the check‑in and check‑out process.
They’re familiar with our company and know when a group of us is staying there, so they work with us really well. I recommend Westgate all the time. I’ve even stayed there outside of work, just on vacation with my wife.

I visited the location in Manhattan! I was there from January 27, 2025 until February 16, 2025. I never received my reward points for staying that long! I did appreciate my housekeeper for cleaning my room every day because after 12 hrs of work I needed a clean room! The hotel staff was rude at the front desk.

I've always come to Westgate, because I love the service and the atmosphere there. This is one of my favorite go-to resorts. My experience has always been good. Our last visit, however, was a little hectic because we had to wait out in the hallway for 45 minutes. When we got to our room, I couldn't get in because, apparently, the door was locked from the inside. There was also hair in the hot tub area. It wasn't thoroughly clean, so we ended up having to switch over to another suite.
Other than that, I have no complaints about Westgate. The front desk representatives and staff have always accommodated my needs. The atmosphere and the service at their tiki bar is also good. I love the whole environment and just being able to be away and relax. The price is pretty good and worth it. Their website is also very helpful and easy to use.

We had a great family adventure at Westgate and we loved it. We were going to Disney World and then Cocoa Beach, and my son and I came up with Westgate Cocoa. Neither of us had ever been there, but it sounded like a great place, so we went there, and it was a great decision. The only issue we had was it was a bit hard to figure out where to park, but we worked that out. The whole staff was awesome. They were very friendly, helpful, the service was very good and engaging, it made us feel at home, and the rooms were terrific. We went out to eat, so we didn't eat dinner there, but we partook in the bar happy hour and the food was great. We could walk across to the beach, we played miniature gold down the street, so there were lots of fun things to do. We had a fantastic time.

We went to the rodeo at Westgate River Ranch. We had some friends going and we’ve always wanted to go there so we met up with them. Checking in was easy. The line was long though so maybe they should have more people there to help check people in.
Its’ a real kid-friendly place and there’s nothing wrong with that. But I didn’t really see any adult entertainment activity amenities except for a pickleball court there. If you don’t have a family, there’s really not a whole lot there to do than just enjoy the surroundings which is nice.
We enjoyed the rodeo a lot. But there were a lot of trash around lying around on the ground yet nobody’s picking up. And that was after the rodeo and after events, there were bottles and garbage along the streets even after a couple of days which was surprising.
But overall, it’s a nice place and we had a wonderful time. Their price is more compared to some places, but others don’t have all the amenities that were at Westgate so their price was fair. It’s definitely worth going for a few days especially the time of year we were there.

Would never recommend and I will post this anywhere I can find. They do not disclose MANY things. They give you a "thumb drive" and no paperwork to look over without people standing over you. The prices we were quoted for a week's stay were a lie, something I couldn't check because I couldn't log into my account until I received everything in the mail, how convenient!! They are NOT willing to work with you if circumstances change, so many lies! Just DON'T!

Having stayed at various Westgate Resorts multiple times, I've always enjoyed my visits, which has kept me returning as a loyal customer. My interactions with the staff have always been positive, adding to the pleasantness of my stays.
During my most recent trip to the Smoky Mountain resort, I found the food options at the hotel restaurant to be quite satisfactory, and we make it a point to visit each time we stay there. I recently stayed at Westgate Resorts and had a great experience as a loyalty member. My latest visit was to their location named the Leisure, and I was there just last week. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth, and the customer service was excellent. During my stay, I participated in some resort activities, such as using the pool area, and found them quite enjoyable. If a friend or family member asked about my visit, I would definitely recommend Westgate Resorts. Initially, I rated my stay 4 stars but upon reflection, I'd give them a 5 since there were no significant issues during my visit.

During my recent stay at Westgate resorts, I found everything to be quite satisfactory. As a returning guest and an owner, I've always appreciated the consistency of their service. My first experience was at the Westgate villas in Kissimmee, and this time, I opted for the resort on Turkey Lake Road, which was an equally pleasant experience.
What stands out about the Turkey Lake Road location is its proximity to various conveniences. It is well-situated near stores and amusement parks, which adds to the overall convenience of staying there. Although we didn't visit the amusement parks on this trip, knowing that it's so accessible is a great advantage.
The children particularly enjoyed the water park, which was a highlight of our visit. One suggestion for improvement would be to extend the opening hours of the Starbucks on site, as my son remarked that it closes too early.
Overall, my experience was excellent. I would rate our stay a solid 5 out of 5, underscoring my satisfaction with the amenities and services provided by Westgate resorts.

I have stayed at Westgate Resorts before and chose them again for a recent stay. I like the resort because it offers a lot of activities and a nice ambiance. However, the check-in process at the location in Orlando was terrible. I had to stand in line for 35 minutes, which was very frustrating. The rest of the experience was excellent. The spa was fantastic, and everything else met my expectations. But due to the long wait during check-in, I opted not to go through the check-out process and just left the keys in the room. Overall, I would rate my experience a 4. The only reason it isn't a 5 is because of the lengthy check-in time.

The first time I stayed at Branson Woods was because of the good price on rooms that gave me a suite. We've got a young child who goes to sleep long before I do. Plus, I liked it so I wanted to come back. I had a good experience. Everybody was super friendly, explained the layout of the land to me since it's got multiple cabins and then sent me on my way to my room. It was fast, seamless, and friendly. I liked that there was a Starbucks-type place right there and I got texts about activities. The location of Westgate was convenient. It wasn't far from any attraction but it was also just off the beaten path, so it wasn't congested with traffic. It was right next to everything without being on everything. It was nice.

Westgate was fine and the check-in and checkout process was very easy. It was just that the staff kept locking the door so I kept having to get new keys. But they were very friendly. The restaurant was great and Westgate had a pool area and a couple of lounge areas. They were clean. I have a 10-year-old that we went for cheerleading competition. So, it was perfect. The location was reasonable.

The resort's location was convenient in relation to local attractions around town. We also ate there, and it was good. The resort staff's attitude was positive, and the check-in process was easy. Their facility was under construction though, so we did not use it. The pool was not a fave. It was pretty dirty.

We checked in at Westgate and the process was very simple. The location was perfect and were very happy with the rooms. We booked with another couple at the same time and we thought we were staying at the hotel, but then they put us in separate condos. So, it would have been nice if we would have been at the same one. But they were right next door and we had one car. So, that worked out.

Westgate Resorts has incredible customer service. There was never a request that wasn't fulfilled immediately. The booking online was easy enough. The check-in process was great. We got there a little early. The room was ready, so that was great. The room was incredible. It was everything we could have wanted. I upgraded to the room with fireplace and the Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom and our balcony. We had a great balcony that was overlooking the ski, Après area, and the bottom of the mountain there in the Canyons Village. There was a burger bar that we went to the first night. There was a very nice steakhouse on site as well. And right outside the doors, there were some options as well.
We were in Park City, Utah. The accommodations for skiing there were incredible. We were able to rent our skis inside the resort. There was a ski valet that took our skis to the bottom of the mountain. When we wanted to go to another side of the mountain, there was a shuttle that was available to take us to where we needed to go. There was an indoor pool that looked very nice and refreshing.

I was in the area for the NFR and I chose Westgate because it was conveniently located close to the convention center and had a tram to get there. The check-in and check-out process was excellent, characterized by quick and friendly customer service—truly a no-fuss experience. I was particularly impressed with the food options, especially the gluten-free items on the menu at the Italian restaurant. I would honestly consider staying there again just for that. However, I did find the staff at the small shop in the hallway to be somewhat pushy, reminiscent of used car salesmen, which was quite off-putting. They seemed to be targeting the wrong audience and followed me even after I declined their offers. Despite that, I'm considering returning next year.

My stay at Westgate Resorts was quite satisfactory. I needed to stay there because of an event with the Pop Warner football league.
The check-in and check-out processes were nice and smooth. The food at the bar was enjoyable, which was a pleasant surprise.
The resort was very clean. However, the elevators moved quite slowly, which was a minor inconvenience. Besides that, I have no complaints. Overall, I would recommend Westgate Resorts.

I visited Westgate years ago with my family, but this time, I was there for a cheer competition. The check-in process was easy; the staff were courteous and did their job. During my stay, I enjoyed a great room, which was like a small suite with a bed and a little refrigerator, perfect for my daughter and me.
We didn't have the chance to sample much of the on-site food besides grabbing Starbucks one day, as we were mostly out and about. Overall, the property had a lot to offer. It was clean and comfortable to stay in, so I would definitely recommend my friends and family to go there.

I recently stayed at Westgate Resorts in Kissimmee, having previously visited their Orlando location. My check-in and check-out experience was smooth, with only a short wait time of about 10 minutes. I really enjoyed the property overall. Although I didn't participate in the swimming activities, I engaged in other enjoyable experiences.
During my stay, I dined at the Mexican restaurant and another spot in front with the games. The food at both places was very good, and next time I plan to explore the rest of the dining options. The resort's website was easy to navigate and I’m glad they're on the phone. Overall, my experience was very positive, and I would definitely recommend Westgate Resorts to a friend.

During my recent stay at Westgate Resorts in Las Vegas, I had a truly enjoyable experience. A coworker had previously recommended the place, and I must say, it lived up to the praises. The apartment I stayed in was impressive, featuring its own jacuzzi and a variety of activities to do around the resort. One of the best conveniences was the shuttle bus service, which allowed me to get around without needing to drive—bookings for pick-up and drop-off were straightforward.
Checking in and out was seamless, though there was a $200 deposit required for room insurance, which is standard for most hotels now. Fortunately, I found the staff helpful, especially when there were any issues, such as a problem with the room key.
I spent some time by the pool and made use of the ping pong table available. Although I didn't partake in activities like arts and crafts or golf due to my busy schedule in Vegas, these options were available.
I felt very secure during my stay. The requirement to show identification to enter the facility was reassuring, adding an extra layer of safety. It's comforting to know the area is well-monitored, allowing for peace of mind both around the resort and when leaving the property.
Overall, I would rate my experience 5 stars, as I plan to return in the summertime when the weather is better. The service and security contributed greatly to the value of my stay, making it a place I'd happily recommend to friends.

I like the availability of Jacuzzi tubs at Westgate Resorts, which is a big plus for us. During the check-in process, I encountered no significant issues; everything went smoothly. However, when I first arrived, the air conditioning in my room wasn't working, which was inconvenient. Fortunately, after notifying the staff, a technician came out and fixed it within an hour, which I appreciated.
Since we live nearby, our stay was more of a staycation, but the recreational options available were appealing.
One hiccup I faced was during check-out. I mistakenly left my phone in the room after already being instructed to leave the key inside, which left me locked out. While it was a bit frustrating, security eventually came to assist. I would suggest the resort revise this policy and perhaps allow guests to return keys at the front desk instead to avoid such issues.
Overall, despite the few bumps, my experience was positive, and I'd rate my stay at Westgate Resorts as 4 out of 5 stars.

I stayed at Westgate Resorts, mainly because of their competitive rates and the absence of parking fees, which was important since we had two cars. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, and we found the room and amenities satisfactory. The location was convenient for our needs.
However, while planning another visit, I noted that the rates had escalated significantly, reaching up to $800 per night, which I found unreasonably high. Despite this, during our stay, even though there was some remodeling happening, it didn't interfere with our convenience. We appreciated being able to grab coffee early in the morning before our departure. Overall, I was quite satisfied with the experience and would rate it a 4 out of 5.

I stayed at Westgate Resorts for a couple of nights. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and without any issues, just like a regular hotel experience. I found Westgate through the internet and chose it as it seemed like a suitable option.
We were mainly there to see the Christmas lights in the area, although I didn't notice if the resort itself had any Christmas decorations or a tree.
Our accommodation was in the cabins, which were clean and comfortable. Overall, my experience with Westgate Resorts was excellent. If a friend asked, I would tell them it was a good stay, mainly due to the cleanliness and comfort of the cabins.

We stayed at Westgate Resorts because they offered a complimentary military weekend. Initially, one of the rooms smelled quite moldy, and the shower wasn't working. However, the staff responded to our complaint efficiently by switching our room, and the rest of the stay was pleasant. The customer service was excellent; all the staff members were very kind. The only area that could use some improvement is the parking situation near the check-in area. Overall, I would rate my experience as very satisfactory.

I have stayed at Westgate Resorts a few times, mainly when I'm in the Kissimmee or Orlando area. The check-in and check-out process is usually seamless, though at larger resorts, there can be a bit of a wait. My most recent visit was to a smaller resort, which did not have the amenities I'm accustomed to at larger locations. As a result, I didn't take advantage of on-site dining or activities and found myself exploring options outside the resort.
One issue I encountered was with housekeeping. We realized the bathroom hadn't been serviced upon arrival, and there were dirty wash rags hanging in the shower. I ended up cleaning it myself, which was disappointing. However, this was the first time I've encountered such an issue during my stays with Westgate, and overall, I still find their larger resorts to be great.
I would recommend Westgate Resorts overall, although the location I recently visited wasn't as impressive. I would rate this specific visit a 3 out of 5.

My mother in law, Sister in law and I went to the one in Orlando and it was absolutely fabulous! We did everything online. Westgate Resorts confirmed everything online. But when we got to there, they said it was too late for us to check in. We had to go down the street to the next one and they found our reservation. They transferred us. It was amazing. They were helpful. The food was good. I like that they have a shuttle too. I thought I had to walk to the restaurant from where our room was, but they had a shuttle.

The check-in and check-out processes at Westgate were smooth. The room met our expectations; however, the thin walls made it challenging to deal with noisy neighbors for a couple of nights, affecting our sleep.
We dined at the resort a few times and found that convenient. The location was ideal for us, close enough to the activities we planned outside of the resort. Having access to a golf cart made navigating the area pleasant as well.
Overall, despite the noise issue, our experience was positive, and I would give Westgate Resort a 5-star rating.

I recently stayed at Westgate Resorts in November, and it was a fantastic experience. We booked our reservation about six months in advance. Despite concerns after a hurricane hit the area, the resort was unaffected, and everything went smoothly. We called ahead to confirm our booking before making the 17.5-hour drive, and even though we arrived a couple of hours late due to bad weather, they accommodated us without any issues. The check-in process was quick and hassle-free.
During our stay, we enjoyed the spa services and took a tour of the resort, which added to our enjoyment. Although I wasn't familiar with the local attractions as it had been over 30 years since my last visit, I found the location to be very convenient. I had a really fun time.

I chose Westgate Resorts mainly because of its location on the lake, which I found very appealing. Additionally, they had availability that fit our schedule, even with our last-minute planning. The reservation, check-in, and check-out processes were all straightforward. I booked online, and once we arrived, everything at the desk was handled smoothly.
Regarding food options, we didn't actually eat at the resort. They had a little store, but we didn't do anything with that. As for recreational activities, we didn't participate in any on-site activities like pools or spas. I chose Westgate Resorts because it was conveniently located close to where we wanted to be, and the price was reasonable. The room was large, more like a suite, which was a plus. The check-in process was a bit slow; we arrived early, and sometimes you can get in early, but this time it was slower than expected. Check-out was fine, though.
Regarding food options, there weren't many within the resort itself, but there were a lot of restaurants in the surrounding area, which was quite convenient. The resort offered various recreational activities like a pool and tennis courts, but we didn't participate in any.
The location worked out well for what we were looking for. Overall, everything was fine with our stay at Westgate. I would give my experience a solid five stars.

My recent stay at the Wild Bear Inn, part of Westgate Resorts, was satisfactory. We chose it primarily due to its convenient location. The reservation, check-in, and check-out processes went smoothly without any issues.
As for dining options, there was a restaurant on-site, but having dined there before, we chose not to eat there during this visit. I'm not certain about the availability of recreational amenities like pools or fitness centers, as the weather was too cold for us to explore those options.
One notable issue was the bed height in our initial room, which was around 3.5 feet high. It was difficult for my wife, who is 4'9", to get into bed without assistance. Fortunately, after raising the concern, the staff moved us to a room with a standard-height bed the following day. I believe providing step stools would be beneficial for such situations.
Overall, I would rate our experience at the Wild Bear Inn a 3 out of 5. While it's labeled under Westgate Resorts, it felt more like a standard motel rather than a resort experience I've had elsewhere.

I had an exceptional experience with Westgate Resorts, which is my favorite hotel. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else due to their consistently friendly service. Although I don't usually dine at the resort due to the food prices, I enjoy participating in their recreational activities, such as the pool and fitness facilities.

During my stay at Westgate Resorts in November, I was impressed with the overall experience. I chose Westgate because they offered so much more than a regular hotel, with convenient on-site restaurants and a reasonable price. The check-in process was smooth; although we arrived early from New York, they accommodated us promptly. Additionally, they upgraded us to a one-bedroom suite upon our return from a cruise, which was a pleasant surprise.
We dined at the on-site Mexican restaurant, Los Amigos, throughout the weekend, and it was amazing. For recreation, we enjoyed activities like the swan ride, which was fun. The staff was helpful, and everything was extra clean. The only issue was a crossed phone line when trying to call for extra towels, but maintenance promptly resolved it.
Overall, I'd rate Westgate Resorts 5 stars. It's a place I would consider returning to in Florida, especially with the available water park, which would be great for my kids.

I recently stayed at Westgate Resorts and chose it over others because we like the location and the pricing offered. Checking in and out was very easy, which is always a plus. Although I haven't tried any of the food options or participated in recreational activities like the pool or fitness spa, I appreciate the convenience of staying there as it's about 2.5 hours from our home near Williamsburg. It's a great location for when I have doctor appointments.
The rooms are consistently clean, which is important to me. Overall, I would rate my experience a 5 out of 5.

I chose Westgate Resorts because of Becky, who is in charge of marketing. I’m with the Purple Heart and have worked on some memorials at Westgate Resorts, and they offered me a reduced price for accommodations, which was wonderful. The reservation, check-in, and check-out process were very smooth. As for food, we only visited the snack shop next to the hotel, which was similar to a convenience store. I found Westgate to be quite upscale compared to other places I’ve stayed in Branson. Dealing with Becky and Tiffany at Westgate has been outstanding; they are truly top-notch. Overall, I would rate Westgate Resorts highly, and I definitely recommend them to others.

The check-in and check-out process was pretty quick and easy. When we got to the resort, the gate guard was nice and friendly, but she did not give good directions at all. It was dark, so we couldn't see where to go and she said, “Just go in and go to the right, and somebody will come get you.” So we did and we sat there for about 15 minutes and then finally, we saw a golf cart way up ahead, so we drove up to it, and we asked, “Are you supposed to take us to your site?” The guy said, “Yeah, that's me. She should have sent you over here.” Other than that, it was very good. Everyone at the front desk the whole time was very friendly. The resort is pricey, but there's a lot to do and it's really pretty.
We ate at the coffee and donut shop and it was good. We also got pizza and it was good too. We did the airboat ride, which was great. We did the rodeo, which was really fun. The saloon and the line dancing were great. We were really happy that it was family-friendly. We also did archery. On our first day at the resort, we went down for the airboat ride and we were early, so we saw the game room and put $40 cash in the machine to get the card that you need to play the game. We put the money in, and then it popped up a message saying that the machine was out of card. So it just took our $40.
We reported it multiple times. We went to the front desk and they sent us to the activity center. The activity center said there was nothing they could do about it. We needed to go to the front desk. So we went back to the front desk. They said, “No, go to the activity center.” Then they told my husband, “Oh, it's a third party company. There's nothing we can do.” So I said, “Well, let's go back over there tomorrow when there's a different employee working and see if we get a different answer.”
When we went back, a girl gave us the number of the third party company. She said, “Oh, yeah. This has happened a bunch. You're like the 40th person to come in here and tell us.” I said, “So then why don't you guys put a sign on the machine saying “out of order”, or a sign on the game room door because you can't use the game room without the card? So why do you let people keep putting money in the machine?" She said she tried but she got yelled at.
Three weeks since we were at Westgate, I called the number they gave us for the third party company which goes to a gentleman's cell phone. I've called and left three voicemails. But no one's ever called me back. So I called the resort and told them, and they said they were so sorry. The staff said, “My supervisor just got in. I'm gonna explain this to her and I will have her call you back. It'll either be me or her, but one of us will call you back today and get it resolved either way. So you'll hear from one of us.” But we never heard from anyone. We wanna go back to the resort but we're not going back until we get that $40 because we were so disappointed in how it was handled.

We went through Priceline and we looked at Westgate and we liked it. The price was very good for our stay. The check-in was fast and very professional and the hospitality was great. When we walked into our room, it had no odor and it was very clean. We enjoyed the whole stay at Westgate. They had a building where we could get coffee and the only thing that was disappointing to that was that they closed at a certain time. And I did not see any vending machines. But other than that, it was great. I would recommend Westgate. When we come back, we're heading back up there again. I like the security. The reps check you in, make sure that you arrive and you're tagged to get in and out of the property. They're super friendly. We went and saw the Christmas lights and it was very nice and relaxing.

My daughter's a big rodeo fan, so we went to Westgate for her birthday and everything was good. Everything was there and the food was good. We did the airboat ride, the karaoke, and everyone was super nice. A couple people asked me how it was ‘cause they went there when they were really young and didn't know if it was still like it was. I told them that they should definitely go and everything was smooth. The price was legitimate and good. I lost track of the days, and we booked too close. When we first looked, it was very budget-friendly, but because we didn't know how many people were going, I didn't know which route I needed to go. Still, the price was worth it.

I enjoyed my 1 week vacay in Myrtle Beach. It was quiet and peaceful. Staff-Manager, Teresa, helped us out when we needed to extend our check out time on our last day and she did it with a smile. Deborah, in-house sales, was funny and informative. Kudos to the Starbucks crew, delightful! Overall, friendly staff. Rooms-nice waterfront view in bldg 1000. Everything that you need in a kitchen was provided. The only complaints -unpleasant smell coming from bathroom drain & the rug in living room could have been cleaned. Overall, enjoyable stay and we would visit again! But for the 2 negatives mentioned, I would have rated venue a 5 stars.

The check-in process at Westgate was very easy. The ladies up front took very good care of this. After a few minutes, we were checked in and got to the room. All the people who have worked there were excellent. The first room that we stayed in was small, which was fine with me. Loved the fireplace. The wife wanted a bigger room because we brought our grandsons up later during the week. They let us move to a bigger room. But the maintenance guy said it was one of the older buildings that they have and the only thing in that building is there's no water pressure. And there was nothing that they could do to fix it. But the facility was nice and it was in a great location. Easy access to the town. It's off the main strip but I like that. Getting in and out was easy as pie. We enjoyed it. The restaurant was closed, though. They said it hadn't opened up after COVID. So we had to go out to eat.

Checking in was quick and the staff was courteous. We had one main room with the bigger bathroom, bedroom, living room, and kitchen. It was very nice. Then we had the adjoining room that had a bathroom, bedroom, and kitchen and dining area. It was very clean. Westgate is a good place and we enjoyed our stay there.

Everything about the whole trip was perfect, from the time that I booked the resort to the time I got finished and drove out the gate. Everything was so simple. I would like to do it again in the summer time when it gets cold and I can get out and explore the hot tub and the swimming pool. I'm older and it was too cold for me to get out. But as far as my room goes and the booking experience and the little grocery store that was there, everything was perfect. The girl that checked me in, the guy that gave me my parking deal, and the little girl at the grocery store were all really friendly. The next time I come, I'll definitely stay there again, but only this time I may take a cabin. Where I stayed at was in a little section called Building 1, and it was so quiet. It was great.

The stay with Westgate Resorts was very nice. We were in a gated community. It wasn't anything where it had rowdy people, where fights would break out, or cars were broken into like when staying at a regular motel or hotel. It was very good there. Nobody bothered. People spoke. They had people there that had timeshare and people that were there for a couple of days, just like my wife and I. It was very good. I would go back there to stay. We enjoyed ourselves down there.
I tried some of the food that they had on the resort. At one of their delis, my wife got what was supposed to be a chicken salad. It didn't have onions and tomatoes. It was just lettuce. She just threw the strips of chicken on top of the lettuce. And it was $17 for the salad, which was garbage. The only other good thing that they had was the pizza.
The only negative thing that we had in the unit that we stayed in was we were on the bottom floor, where we had a Jacuzzi in the center of the room. Water dripped down on top of us through the ceiling, which is on somebody's nasty bathwater, and washed down whatever was in between those ceilings. But when that started happening, we were on our last day. We were checking out that morning anyway.

I've stayed at Westgate before so I know about it. It’s a very nice resort and the location is great. I was working at the convention center so it was perfect. It wasn't right in the middle of everything but it wasn't far. The reservation and the check-in and check-out process were very simple and easy. Everybody was very friendly and for a female single traveler, I felt extremely safe. They originally gave me one room but since I was traveling alone, I asked if they could move me up closer and they did without a problem. They were very accommodating. The girls who checked me in were amazing and the guys on the golf carts were helpful. I love everything about Westgate.

Everybody at the Westgate resort was very nice and polite. My husband and I had a really great time. We plan on coming back. We loved everything about it. We went to the saloon and the rodeo, and the food was good. We had a delicious breakfast the next morning. We were only there for a night. We didn't have enough time. So, we wanna come back up and bring our son with us.

I've been using Westgate now for about seven years. I was looking for a room and they popped up with a deal and we took it and we've been using them ever since. As far as the resort, I like the peace and the quiet. The security is top-notch. My wife and I go there on our birthdays to decompress and relax and it's perfect for that because the rooms are fully-loaded. We can just go out and buy groceries. We don't have to go out a whole lot. It's very peaceful. It's very quiet. There were a very few incidents, if any.
The only thing that's cropped up, and there's really nothing Westgate can do about this, so I'm not blaming them, is just the marijuana smoke, and there's nothing you can do about that. It was just the laws are changing. You can't smoke in the room, so everybody smokes on the terrace. So, if you're trying to sit outside and enjoy yourself, sometimes you kinda either gotta deal with that or you gotta go inside. Other than that, the resort is very nice. I love the location. They've got a ton of pools, which is nice. They usually comp us to go into the water park. So, we do try to take advantage of that. We don't have kids, but we'll go just to watch everybody else have a good time. The restaurant they have on premises is very good. Overall, the amenities are very nice.
Their staff is aces. We have yet to run into anybody in that place that either doesn't have a smile on their face, doesn't greet you with a good morning or have a nice day. You can sometimes tell if a person had a bad day or if there's something going on in their life because sometimes they're just not pleasant for whatever reason. I've yet to run into that there. They are always pleasant. If you call with an issue, which there had been far and few between, they are very apologetic.

I knew Westgate Resorts was a good resort and the price that I saw when I looked on the booking engine was reasonable. It was a good choice for me. Checking-in was quick and painless. When I first got there, the front desk clerk was very friendly, and told me to let them know if I needed anything. I also received a couple of texts throughout my stay. When I responded, they responded back just as quick. It was unusual. For the price, the accommodations were very good. I will go back there for sure.

I booked a package and Westgate was the most affordable option for us. We arrived at the hotel a little bit earlier, but they had the room ready. Everything went smoothly and as expected. I got text messages about the recreational activities they have on site, but we were there for a National Premier League event for soccer so my son and I were constantly out and about. The location was very convenient. It was only 15 minutes away from the field. I also liked that there was not a lot of traffic there. The only recommendation I would have for the hotel is to make sure they mop the floor. It was dirty.

The check-in and check-out process at Westgate was easy. I was hoping to pay extra and get a room with two bedrooms like a condo, but they said they didn't have that available. I also ate outside. I didn't know they had a place to eat there. That was the one bad thing. They didn't tell us anything about the resort. We walked around and looked. We hardly could figure out where the pool was and they didn't give us a lot of information about what was there. The pool was under construction. To get to it, you had to go through a construction area, so that wasn't very good. All I did was walk around and I didn't even get to go to the pool because we weren't there that long. I wasn't impressed with the concierge. But the rest of the staff was pretty good. Plus the location of the resort was very convenient. We also got a really good price on it.

We have stayed at Westgate at least three times now and we feel that it's quiet and relaxing. It's not overcrowded as some other resorts are and we really can enjoy the amenities versus having the hassle of fighting for a beach chair or something with other people. The check-in and check-out process was very smooth and the staff are very accommodating. You can tell that they care about the place and making sure that it's safe and clean. Even with turn of staff, you can tell that the mission stands in regard to accommodating guests and cleanliness. Also, the recreational activities were suitable for our family. My son enjoyed the basketball court and they have a pickleball court and a nice little fireplace and grills. It's very homey.

Westgate Resort was really good and we were very happy with that place. We were able to check in like we thought we should have been able to. We went into the spa every night and it was great. Even though there were other people there, we weren't crowded in it and it was big. So, we really liked it. We went on a trip through four different states and stayed in six different hotels, and that was, by far, our favorite. They went above and beyond the call of duty.

I used a third-party app, so I didn't book online with Westgate, but there wasn't a problem. The price was a little bit higher than I anticipated, but the staff were good and helpful. When I asked the lady who checked me in for an renovated room, she was able to accommodate me with that, which was really nice. The room looks more up-to-date. We ate at a couple of the places and the food options were good. I've also stayed at multiple different Westgate locations before. I like the convenience of them.

I like the activities, the community, and the amenities that Westgate offers. Making a reservation as well as the check-in and check-out were very smooth. However, I was encouraged to complete a timeshare and I was told that if I completed the timeshare I would have a late check-out when I left so I can have time to enjoy the resort. But that was not given so they did not extend my check-out time and I had to go to the front desk and explain to them what I was promised. It took 30 minutes of dealing with different people but eventually, I got the check-out time extended. I also took advantage of the game room, which was really nice, and some of their specialty shops. I ate at Draft and that was okay, then most of the time was spent at the Disney Park, so I was exhausted when I got back.
I would recommend my friends to go to a Westgate resort, but I would tell them not do a timeshare presentation despite any reward that they promise you. When I did that, I felt like I was harassed and they could not take no for an answer. They were trying to sell their products and they were very aggressive. And when you would say no, they'd get someone else to harass you. And when you'd say no to that person, they'd get a third person to harass you until you buy the product. And if you choose not to buy the product, they'd get upset and make sure they take 2 hours of your time. Other than that, I got a good deal from them. When I went on their website, it was quite easy to use, but I used to be a computer teacher, so I'm kind of tech savvy. If I didn't know what I was doing, it could have been a little challenging going from here to there and trying to figure out what I'm looking for.

I like the price and location of Westgate. They were also really friendly and great to work with. We came in late at night but they let us in. They answered any questions I had as well. I am on a keto diet, so their food options were not good for me. But for a normal person, it was great. I have told others they need to go set up a reservation for them 'cause Westgate is a great place. The only thing was a lot of the plug-ins did not work, so I couldn't charge my phone.

I've had a Westgate Travel Club membership for about five years. When we went to Palace, the staff were very accommodating and did a great job. I had a group and Westgate got us all on the same floor, which was nice. My team was impressed with the place, and they were shocked that I brought them to that nice of a place. We spent a couple of afternoons out of the pool and the hot tub. While the food bar was a little limited, we were there for a trade show, so it was nice to grab coffee in the morning and be on our way. We didn't use much of the food part of it. Overall, we had an excellent experience.

I stayed overnight at a Westgate Resort. I did Priceline and it was a good price. I had also stayed there once. Checking in was not a problem. I just came in through the security, up to the desk, and found my way to the room. As for the food, we mostly ate off but we had a pizza one evening, and it was good.

Normally l like to end with the good, but in this case there's not much, so let's start with The Good... My wife and I stayed at Westgate Resorts in Gatlinburg between Oct 26 - Oct 30 and the Smoky. It's did not disappoint. It was beautiful, Cades Cove was spectacular. Oh, WestGate. The room was nice size, full kitchen, balcony. The views from the top of the property was excellent. We didn't eat at their restaurant but the food smelled good. They did have a free shuttle to take you into Gatlinburg, the wait was a bit long though.
The Bad... The reservation said the room had a DVD player, it did not. Just a hole in the wall under the T.V. We had to call maintenance because the refrigerator sounded like a bad engine trying to start. It never got fixed. All the air conditioning and heating units were right outside our bedroom windows. The hot tub at the top of the property was hot, but no jets. So it was a bit like taking a bath. Their bar at the same location, which was open, closed without notice for the rest of the season. Very disappointing. And now for...The Ugly...
On day two around sunset my wife and I were walking down the road on the way to the resorts market. We crossed the road in front of the security booth and a 10 seat golf cart stop sideways in the road. I noticed the the guy driving was looking over his shoulder. When my wife and I passed in front the dummy stepped on the gas and hit me in the leg. I slammed my hands on the front of the cart and he stopped. His response was "my bad". Which did not sit well with me and then his next comment was most people use the crosswalk, a simple apology would have taken care of everything. But he felt after hitting me, a "my bad" was a sufficient apology.
I went into the lodge, and stepped up to the front desk looking for a manager. His name was David. His response was "We can't make him apologize." and I'm busy." He then commented "you need to go back to the security booth and file a report, and locate his name". He wouldn't do it and would not send anyone down with me. Basically no apology from David as well and I had to do his job. The security booth pulled the video footage, found his name and saw the same thing I was reporting. I was told I should hear back with in 24-48 hrs. This never happened. 3 days later we left for home with a piece of paper with the report number and 4 names to call. I called one name "Keith S" no return call.
I called and did speak with Waldemar **. Both in the Department of Safety and Security. His response was just as bad. No apology, they can't make the driver apologize and said they will make the guy driving the golf cart take another course in driving after all the double talk Waldemer ended by saying they have done all they will and can do. Westgate should be ashamed of themselves. Lack of effort, and rude. Westgate Resorts is a joke at best, an unsafe place to stay. There are so many other choices to stay from 4 start hotels to cabins, B&B, camping. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Westgate. It's not worth it.

I gave myself two days to go to Disney and picked Westgate to spend the night. Shannon and Chaz from the front desk did everything they could to make my stay fabulous. They started me on a great roll. When I got to my room, I couldn't figure out how to unmute the remote control. A staff went to my room and he was so gentle and kind. He showed me that I had to push it up instead of pushing it down. Then I met Margarita who's a supervisor. She gave me a ride someplace. Oscar gave me a ride to my car too. I also had a great time with Jeff, the manager. I told him how much I liked everything. I wanted to go to the water park, and they let me have an early check-in so I could go to the water park ‘cause I had to see my favorite band at Disney that night. They gave me a map, which I completely couldn't read, but they showed me where to go. There was also a morning person that was nice when I checked out.
They asked me to do the timeshare thing. A woman brought me over, and she asked me how long I was staying. I was only staying overnight and because they were not that crowded, they didn't have it the next day. I'm from Vegas and I know timeshares. I don't do them. But I was disappointed that I didn't hear the timeshare presentation which shows what a great time I had at Westgate. I was treated like a queen. They have hospitality and hospitality is so much better than customer service. They greet you like you're coming into their home. They like their job ‘cause everybody was smiling. You can't fake that with everybody.

My sister-in-law was a timeshare owner and she did a trip for my husband for his birthday. We liked it so much, so we asked her if they have any other ones that we can pay. I love it because the place is very nice. It's quiet, relaxing, and very clean. When we call on anything we need, they are there for us. The staff was great. The only thing that they didn't tell us was when we were ready to leave our room, there was a cleaning lady next door and we told her that we needed that room cleaned. She said we have to call the office but that they were probably not gonna do it because there was something about 10 days. They never mentioned it and we thought that we can get the room cleaned every day. We didn't get the room cleaned at all during the whole six days that we stayed in. I wasn't too quite happy with that one. Other than that, I'd tell others that they should stay at Westgate. It's a nice place to stay and the best part was they had the shuttles where they take you to The Strip and to Fremont.

The rep, Ace, that booked my reservation, he got me a free upgrade through his supervisor, which was so awesome. He got me an early check-in at 12 noon. I told him that this is a one-nighter getaway for my niece and nephew that are 10 and 13 and, without me even asking, he put our room right close to the arcade and the indoor pool. When I checked in, Ace was actually there and he said he got us a free upgrade. We had a private Jacuzzi on your balcony. I was thanking him and he said to thank his supervisor. We loved sitting in that Jacuzzi. It was one of the first things that we did. He did all these extra things without me asking.
They got breakfast at the little deli place and the food was wonderful. Also, the indoor swimming pool was super-duper nice. We might not have even done the arcade and the indoor pool because the resort was so huge that if he wouldn't have thought to put our room close to it, we would have been walking around that whole huge resort trying to find the pool and the arcade. They offered us a free shuttle to take us to the downtown Main Street but we just kind of wanted to hang out at the resort.
I’ve stayed at Westgate before. I stayed at one in Orlando and the one thing that I really love that's different from other hotels is they have the washer dryers in most of the units. Most of the time, they also have the kitchen. For the same price as just a regular hotel room at a resort, you're getting a kitchen with a fridge, microwave and it's fully stocked with utensils and plates. I really love Westgate!

I booked Westgate through the Hotels.com. It looked like a beautiful property for the number of days that we needed it and it was a perfect location. My husband was going to the convention center for a FABTECH convention and it was only 10 minutes from there. The check-in and check-out process was very good and the girl was very nice. The food options were too pricey, though, so we went off property. Then, we went to go play putt-putt that they offer there and we have to get the golf clubs from the little marina thing where the little boats are, which was closed so we couldn't do that option, and it was expensive to do the bowling.
Also, I went to go to the wave pool and they wanted $25 per person for the wave pool and the lazy river. Part of the reason why I booked that property was that I could do that during the day while he was gone only to find out when he came back to the resort early, we were told it was $25 apiece. I wasn't gonna pay $50 to go into a swimming pool. I wasn't pleased with that. That should have been included with the part of the property that we were staying at, not an extra amenity.
The other thing that I had a complaint about, which they took care of at the front desk, they were charging $20 a day for a resort fee and they gave a little card with the resort fee included. It included toll-free phone calls and Wi-Fi. But who does not have a cellphone now and everybody has Wi-Fi on their phone so why am I paying for those? It had four or five things that you're paying for that make no sense whatsoever. I contested that in the time of check out and they did remove that. It didn't even include a bottle of water in the room. Even hotels that charge resort fee give you two free bottles of water. Other than those, the unit that we had was absolutely beautiful. We got the lakeside view, which was beautiful to watch sunsets. I would highly recommend it but people need to know before they go there that you're gonna pay $25 to get into the wave pool and it says bowling alley, but there's an enormous fee for that.

A timeshare is the best thing we've done in our lives. We aren't tied to go every year. We could also bank it and take it, at different times. But when we stay there, we go quarterly. When we stay for a long weekend, it would be a discounted rate because we're owners. Westgate Resorts is a perfect vacation spot. It's our home away from home. We live two hours away. We go there when we can on weekends. And we stay there on vacations. We pick up the phone if we had a concern or anything was wrong in the unit, and within minutes, there would be somebody knocking at our door. It's quick, friendly and clean. This has been our experience since 2002.
The restaurants are wonderful. The shopping there is good. The food store that they have on is more expensive, like a resort type prices on the food in the marketplace. But the restaurant is very reasonable and it's delicious. The help is number one. We have done everything that they always had for all the years. The water park is fantastic. We don't have to leave the property. As owners, we don't pay to have to go in. They have lockers.
Utah was the best vacation we've had. Smoky Mountain, Tennessee, was also amazing. We would look out and would be like on the cliff of a mountain, and looking down, it was extraordinary. There's one in New York City that they have. It's like a hotel. We were upgraded with that. It has been amazing. They are so helpful and nice. They don't expect anything from us. They were always surprised when we tipped them.

I was looking for places to stay in Pigeon Forge, and I looked at everything, and the prices were crazy. I've seen Wild Bear and we liked how it looked and the location. I even found something cheaper than Wild Bear, but they didn't look the safest, so I chose Wild Bear because I liked how it looks from the pictures and the reviews. Our experience at check-in was wonderful. We got there really late at night, and Brianna showed us how to get to the room and gave us the keys, and she told us about the restaurants and the gas station next door. So, it was awesome.
The accommodation was perfectly nice. I liked how there were extra towels there already. I liked how we didn't have to ask for anything, and I liked how clean everything was. The Westgate resort is a really nice place to stay. It's safe, it's clean, and the price is perfect for how the room would look like. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone that asked me to go to Pigeon Forge.

I was looking for a pet-friendly place to stay in Pigeon Forge. I've been to Pigeon Forge many, many times. I saw Westgate was redecorated. They bought it out from whoever the hotel was before. My husband and I and my little pet and my best friend and her husband and her little pet all decided to stay there. Doing the reservation was extremely simple and easy. There was a lot of explanations with all the offers and how to register for the rewards program.
I loved the new flooring. The beds are a little high, but that's fine. They were very comfortable. The bathroom had a little bit of maybe a urine smell, but it's pet-friendly. I totally understand. Totally understand. I always take Lysol spray with me everywhere I go anyway. Sprayed it in there and it was fine. It might have even been the bottom of the shower curtain that might have had a sour smell. Other than that, loved the room. It was 100% clean. I loved how spacious it was.

Front desk was great to work with. Everybody was nice and welcoming. We pulled a trailer down with a motorcycle, and I was nervous where we gonna park it. The receptionist even called the maintenance guy. The maintenance guy came around on a golf cart and took us around and showed us exactly where to park. All the room was nice. It was unexpected. I didn't realize we rented one of the loft rooms, but that was my fault. I accidentally did it. But it was neat. It was a nice room. So it all worked out great.

I saw Westgate online and I liked the way it looked. I work at Baptist Health so I booked it online and I got a discount through them. The check-in wasn't too bad but they didn't have our rooms ready when we first got there. We went to get our package tickets for shows and by the time we got ready to walk in, which was within 10 or 15 minutes, they had the room ready. The room was great. On the bar top though, there was a coffee spill that wasn't cleaned up. We've just been there so when they go in and see everything, and there’s nothing on there, they probably don't even clean it. There were also drippings of condiments down the cabinets.
My husband didn't want me to pack any food because he said I don't wanna cook on vacation. So, we got up on Sunday morning and he needed food to take with his medicine. So, I went to the store. The little six-pack of doughnuts was $3.49 apiece. So, that was a little extravagant. It was pricey up there at the store. But Westgate is a nice resort. It's pretty and I like that you have to go through security. It's not like being in a hotel where your car is just parked out there and anybody could break in. Also, the location is great. It's so close to the Strip and all the shows and shops.

I got emails from Westgate and they offered just a little lower price. We were going to Branson so it worked out to use it. We got a nice condo and I liked the location. It was away from all the busyness. We were right by the woods and used the pool a lot because it was very hot. We were happy with our stay. We had a one-bedroom condo with a living area, kitchen and bathroom. It was all we needed. It was great and we loved it. We liked the kitchen. We went out sometimes but we were able to eat in our room when we wanted to.

Westgate was chosen by an event I went to. It was the first time I've ever been there. The people there were all very helpful and friendly. What surprised me first, right away, was it was a cashless place. I had brought extra cash for the event, but they only took debit cards or credit cards for everything. We got the smaller suite with just the coffee pot, the little refrigerator, and the little kitchenette thing. It had a sink and a microwave. If we would've known better, we would have gotten the upper room because it had two bedrooms, and they have a stove so you could prepare a meal there. There was just one bed in our suite. I shared that room with friend of mine. We had the king-size. We had plenty of room. Plus, there was a pull-out bed.
There was one event we had to cancel because of the weather. We didn't get to have the s'mores. We were gonna have a campfire and s'mores. We just had a meeting and all the different speakers and games. It was a lot of fun. The only thing is that they had ordered sandwiches from a different place, and we could not eat them in the building. We had to go outside to eat because we did not get them from Westgate. That was the only kind of disappointment. If the event is gonna be there next year, we plan to do that. The event was a woman's retreat.

My friend stayed at Westgate Resorts before and when I stayed there, it was complicated. They offered me one thing and then gave me another one. The reps put pressure on you. Every time you go there, they wanna sell and force you to buy something. And I'm not down with that. The customer service guy was nice but not everybody was good. The price was also terrible.

My daughter goes to College of the Ozarks in Branson, Missouri and when I was looking for hotels at one point, Westgate popped up. I stay there because it's in a gated area. I stayed at a $160 hotel one time with my husband and my kids, and I could hear the guy next door beating his wife. So ever since then, I like the gated area a little bit better. I just feel more comfortable in there. Also, it's in the middle of Branson so you're close to everything.
We make our reservations with Westgate online and the process has been fine. It's also easy to get in and out of the hotel. But every time they ask if I want to listen to the presentation, I always say no. That kind of makes me feel a little guilty, but that's just their job. Other than that, I've been having a perfect experience with their employees. The rooms are very good and always clean. Once in a while, I can find a deal and I get one of the deluxe rooms which I love. I want to go to one every time, but it's hard to find those deals. In January and February, there are pretty good deals because Branson shuts down a lot of their shows. But on other times of the year, Westgate can be a little pricey depending on tourist time.

The Westgate Resorts in Tennessee became our favorite. I never had an issue in Orlando, and Tennessee was even better. It was that whole feeling like they have known me for years and that was my first trip there. I've used one of my credit cards directly through Westgate Resorts and it was a simple booking and check in. Always the friendliest and helpful people. The location itself on top of a mountain, it's amazing. Also, it has always been accommodating. Nice and clean rooms. When I've had an issue, which was usually minor, it was taken care of as quickly as possible. One of the TVs wasn't working. By the time we came back from eating lunch, it was already done. Westgate sent me a text saying, "It's done." We're already planning another trip for next year to go to Gatlinburg and we're planning to stay in the same resort.

We've been going to Williamsburg for 40 years. We go every year and we're planning on going down in December for a few days and staying there. But we always stay over in the hotel part. It used to be the Princess Anne and they refurbished it. Checking in is very easy because I usually give them all the information. And I pre-register or I give them the card number. So, all I do is go in then they say have everything and lets me sign the document.
We had one issue with the TV and the one guy who was out there tried to figure out. My husband wanted to watch a ball game, but they didn't have a package to get the ball game. And I tried to tell my husband that but their rep couldn't tell him. Other than that, they've always been helpful and very accommodating. They don't force you buy a timeshare when you're there and I love that. They just want to make your stay great.
I like the rooms over there. When we first started going, we would get one of the little cottages. But when we had our kids, we had to get bigger beds, so we ended up in the back section there with the two double queens. It's roomy and the beds are very comfortable, which is a big thing for me. It's a nice place to stay in because back there it's quiet and off the street. We never had anybody making a lot of noise. There's also a little porch where you can sit on and they always have a little glider chair sitting out there or we bring our own and sit out there.

I found Westgate on the internet and liked the looks of it. The check-in was awesome. It didn't take no time. They were really fast and courteous, and real friendly. I love the room. It was like a little cabin room. It had the two double beds and bathroom. It was really nice. I was surprised they had that many food options. It was really, really nice. It was like you didn't have to go anywhere. You could stay right there. They had pizza, barbecues, snacks, ice cream. Then they had our breakfast that we could go to. You have to go through a security gate to get in, and I really did like that. We felt safer that way. It’s one of the best places I've ever stayed.

Going to Westgate is convenient. It’s right there in Gatlinburg. We did a little of everything when we went there - sightseeing, riding around and looking at the animals. You can walk the distance to a lot of the local attractions. However, the room was a little dated. It had a musty smell to it, but that was because of the air conditioning unit. But it was clean which is all that matters to me.

I've stayed at Westgate several times and I like their location in downtown Gatlinburg. Checking in was always smooth. The room was good. Everything was fine. It's a clean place. It's good stay there. But I did not eat anything there. Every time we walked down there, the place was closed.

The spa resort out there in Turkey Lake is nice. It's bigger than all the other ones I'd seen. They have more activities and seven swimming pools around the location. I like the activities too. They got the little swan boat thing, and you can ride out there. They got the bowling arcade for the kids. They also got different fish-named pools and coral reefs. The water park is in the middle. There's a lazy river and three water slides.
My biggest problems with Westgate are checking in and receiving my deposit. With me reserving, my trust fund pays for it. I go there every year and has done it four times. They would tell me on the phone that I was good to go and that everything was paid fully. But every time I check in, they'd tell me they didn't receive the whole amount of the money. If I reserved five days, they would tell me I only paid for the first night. Then I had to stand there for an hour, waiting for it to get situated, calling and emailing each other back. My trust fund has to get on the phone with them. I was there last month on the 6th through the 9th of September and I just received my deposit back three days ago. They say it's 7 to 10 days but that was a whole month. Also, they call and offer me food and all these special gifts. But when they find out I'm a Florida resident, they tell me it's not for me. But other than those, they're great. I'm ready to go back for Thanksgiving.

I looked around on Expedia in terms of closeness to the Universal Studios. Westgate Resorts was one of those that was most conveniently located. It looked like it was a reasonable price for the amenities. It was the size of the room. I went up to the front desk, got my keys, checked in. And for check-out, we dropped the keys off in a box at the first floor of the elevators and that was it. Breakfast was the only meal that had there and it was fine. Some other places will have an icemaker near the elevator. Other than that, the place was good. It was clean. Everything was very well done there.

The first time that I stayed at a Westgate Resort was when I just got on Expedia and did my flight and hotel, and it bundled. We had such a good experience the first time that we went back down the second time, and we just booked to stay there again. They gave us two free passes to the water park, and it's always super clean and the staff is always wonderful. So we had a great time. We ate at the sports bar and grill, and they had homemade smoked pork, pulled pork, and ribs, and it was delicious. The time before, we ate pizza and it was good as well. But the barbecue was phenomenal. It was wonderful.
The resort is in a good location. We went downtown to where the Ferris wheels was at, and it was a 10-minute drive with traffic, so it was good. Westgate was very informative. The unit that we stayed in this time was on the lake side, so we could actually see some of the fireworks from Disney. Two sets of fireworks went off. So that was pretty neat because we stayed on the front side the last time. But everything was wonderful both times we stayed there.

I liked the cost of the River Terrace and my stay at the resort was perfect. I was very pleased and I would go back. The best part was the customer service. I received a text from a real person every day asking me if there was anything they could help me with and I couldn't believe how they reached out to me every day. And when I'd walk by through the lobby, they would stop me and ask. They also knew me by name. That may not be a positive thing because people tend to remember me anyway. But it was a great experience. My sister traveled with me and we went for a car show in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

I like the previous experiences I've had at this Westgate location. The location is also very convenient. The staff is usually always very helpful and friendly, and the room is always clean and organized. This last time, they advised us that there were renovations going on, and they put us into a non-renovated room, but they also advised us that they are planning on renovating all the rooms soon.

Their attitude has always been good. They've done everything that they can to get me where I wanna be. When I have specific requests, like when we were gonna go down at the end of October, they went out of their way to do it. Their location is very convenient for the things that we like to do. Overall, I've had a pleasant experience. They've been real low on doing the things that they had promised that they were gonna do. But it's my understanding that they've got a new owner. So that's a hope we have.

My wife was going to the EMS conference. It was happening at the Convention Center. We went down early for fun and stayed at the Westgate Resorts. They were trying to do the time-share thing. However, I knew what they were doing, so I wasn't super interested. It was a great resort. We used the spa and got massages, and that was phenomenal. The Sports Book was a ton of fun. We were thoroughly happy with everything. I loved it. The check-in and check-out process was easy, and the rep was very helpful. We had a personal room. My wife wanted to keep the room because she was staying for the extra. They were very accommodating and they made it all work out. They were very good at the front desk. I had a great time.

The whole check-in process at Westgate was easy. Everyone was nice and welcoming. Every single time I walked through the door or out the door, we got greeted and told to come back. It was a good experience. That was the best experience we ever had. The rooms are very clean and nice too. They come clean up after. If you don't have to sign on and want them to clean up, they will. But if you don't, you just put the don't disturb. It worked out well for us because it stayed clean. And with having a two-year-old and trying to enjoy vacation, that's the hardest.

We went to Westgate when they had a deal on the amusement park. In the beginning, it was a little difficult with the check-in, but it was okay. The food options are expensive though. We ended up doing a mixture of going outside of the resort and purchasing food and cooking our food. It would be good if they would have more food option on the premises.

We had a conference at Westgate and everything was fantastic. Everybody I encountered was very helpful and pleasant. The room was great. Most of the food was pre-chosen by our conference director, and it was good as well. The only thing I found a little bit off was the lack of oxygen because of such a hike and I'm used to being closer to sea level than up in the mountains.

I was recommended Westgate by a friend. I really enjoyed it, and I'd tell people to go. The check-in and check-out were gorgeous, and everybody was super nice and treated us very well. The bar, the adult pool over by room 60 and the grocery store they had were very nice. The coffee was great as well.

We found a deal online and went down to the Branson location. The staff was very friendly. They showed us everything we needed to know. But they didn't have very much food options in the morning so we went out to eat. Also, we paid for the internet but there was a big storm down that blew it out. It didn't work and we have a teenager, so he was not happy about it. But Westgate reimbursed us. That was our first time there and we would go back.

We like that Westgate is in a good location, away from everybody. It's also a whole lot easier with them than when we go to Vegas or Mexico. It was in and out. The room was gorgeous. It's rustic-looking, but modern. We went to one of the smaller pools in the resort at the back. It was clean and had plenty of seating. It was tucked away, quiet, and had plenty of towels. We also ate at the pizza place which was all they had open at the time but it was better than Domino's or any of the other pizza places.

We've been to Westgate twice, and we've had a good time both times. Everybody was friendly and the location was very clean. I like the glamping and the way that it was set up. It was really relaxing. There was a bonfire and we did s'mores and had a couple of beers. We also went to the steakhouse twice and to the pizza place. The food was good.

My experience with Westgate was really nice. Everything was up to par for me - the stay, the customer service. I like the amenities that they have - the restaurant and the pool. The check-in and check-out process was really smooth and easy. I was able to check in early, which was something that I like, because typically, other resorts and hotels don't allow that. My check-out process was the same as any other. Very smooth and quick. We used the pools. We went to three different pools. We used the fitness center too. We did the mini golf and we went to the game room as well. I would definitely come back. However, the traffic around the area puts you in a place where it takes you a little bit longer to get to the attractions. But it's really close. Also, we attempted to go to the water park that was on site. However, they had a lot of closings for some odd reason.

My cousin owns a timeshare with Westgate. We went and when we got there, everyone was so welcoming. The gentleman that was outside helped us take our luggage out of the car. We got inside and checked in with no problem, then they helped us to our room. It was amazing. We were in one bedroom and I tried to book another night, but we had to move to a studio unit, which is a smaller room. We got to experience both of the rooms. Everything was clean and when we needed linen, they were very helpful. They brought it up to the room.
The food options were very good as well. They had a coffee shop and a restaurant with different foods inside of it. We were able to order. My children loved the burgers and the fries from the restaurant. It was an overall amazing experience. They did not even wanna go home. That was our first time bringing my family to experience those. We're gonna come back soon, and hopefully, when I come back, I'll be able to purchase a timeshare myself.

The check-in and check-out at Westgate went great. The location of the resort was great as well. It was right in the center of everything. However, we went through a third-party and we didn't get to enjoy some of the benefits that they offered, which blew. But other than that, everything was great.

Everybody greeted when I went to check-in. There were people at the door who showed me where to go to check in and I checked in with no problem. Also, the room was perfect, although the food options could be a little more. It's a good area, though, especially if you want to go to the attractions -- Disney and Universal, and even if you don't want to leave the property, there's a lot of stuff to do. It was an overall good experience.

We have a membership with RCI and there was a promotion they had sent out. However, that particular promotion did not work out for us. We started exploring Westgate and decided that's where we wanted to go. The reservation, check-in and checkout processes were smooth, and everybody was very friendly and nice. We had a lot of day tour things, so we weren't there a lot, but we were really impressed at how clean and beautiful the grounds were. It was nice that it was in a security area. We felt very safe. The rooms were comfortable, everything we needed, and clean as well. If we needed anything extra, they were right there. There was no waiting for anything. It was great. We had pizza one night and it was a bit pricey, but it was good. The location was perfect too. We had a rental car and we could go anywhere. It was quick and easy, and we really liked it. We would definitely recommend Westgate Resorts.

Between me and my family, we've stayed at Westgate Resorts five times, and we've always liked it. The check-in process was good. I gave them my card, then I went to a separate desk and they asked if we needed to do any shows or needed any tickets with anything. I told them no, we were just gonna enjoy the amenities at the hotel. They told me once again about the activity center and the pool area. There's hiking too. The accommodations are great. They're very clean and cute. We stayed in condos before as well. I've told my family that it's a great location. It's well priced and in a gated community, so it's safe. It's also budget and family friendly, and they have friendly staff.

Years ago, I planned a vacation and stayed at Westgate. Ever since then, when I go on trips, that's where I stay at. There is a Drafts Restaurant that's right there and I eat there all the time when I go. They also have a Starbucks on-site, but it didn't open up as early. But the resort is nice and clean. It's a perfect location as well. I get a chance to do an early check-in and everybody is pleasant. I've been at the Westgate in Myrtle Beach four times and the room is amazing. I've enjoyed it. The only thing I wish they could get is a screen for the sliding door.

I went on a family vacation and we stayed in a Westgate. The check-in and check-out processes were positive. The resort we stayed at was a golf course. It was down the road a bit. So, we didn't eat there because it was a hike. We're in the pool every day. Everything was very nice. The rooms were beautiful. Everybody was really kind and nice. Anybody you saw that was working there was nice. Customer service was excellent. It was a very good experience.

We've stayed at Westgate Resorts before several times, and it's next to the aquarium. That's a big interest to us. It's central to the district in Gatlinburg where we can walk. It's a nice place. My wife did this thing through a booking service, and it turned out not to be as good as we’d like it. But the check-in and the check-out was good. The room was a ground floor with a little balcony over a yard. It was pleasant.

My daughter was diagnosed with cancer and had to have surgery. Her hospital is in Orlando. She ended up staying in the hospital a couple of days longer than expected. So, we had to extend our stay a couple of days. It was an easy process, with the front desk lady helped so much with that. We always marvel at the comfort of the beds and pillows when we're there at Westgate Resorts. We threaten to steal the pillows every time, but we don't. We wrote down what the brand of the mattress is. The next mattress we're gonna buy, we're gonna get that one.
