My partner, Enoch **, and I both of accounts. Sometimes he rents. Sometimes I do. But we both have had great experiences with the app and owners. We will continue to use Turo over car rentals. The owners have been amazing and responsive. The cars have been clean and in great condition.

I had a fantastic experience renting a vehicle through Turo. I have already recommended it to both family members and friends. Some had never heard of Turo before. I rented a car for two weeks. The vehicle ran smoothly with no problems at all. I will use this service again when I travel. Thanks for the great experience.

My Turo Trip started okay until 8 miles later the car broke down and I fought with turo for 2.5 hours to get me a lift. It wasn't until I missed my meeting, lost my job that I finally got to a replacement vehicle. I am very disappointed in your app and I am very disappointed. I wasn't offered a discount or return for the poor service.

I've rented from the renter before and the car was in pristine condition both times. He was also very flexible with me being a bit late returning the car. By far my favorite experience with renting a car especially due to the price and overall location of the pick up and drop off.

The first car we had the engine light came on on the first day then we got a second car and the keys were in the car, but for some reason, the car locked automatically. I don’t know what the deal was there. It’s a brand-new car. The host said it should not happen, but it did. The experience was not the greatest terrible experience.

Beautiful car inside and out, with amazing and fun features. I had a great time driving the Kia K5! Our host, Daniel, was quick to respond to questions and very helpful. Pick up and drop off were convenient. Would definitely rent this vehicle again, highly recommend. Thanks for a great trip!!

The car was super clean and fun to drive. It was a new experience for me driving an electric BMW. Laura was very quick to respond and overall a very sweet person. Would definitely rent from her again. The app is easy to use. Can’t wait to have many more experiences using Turo.

This was such a fun car to drive and VERY well-maintained! The top was so easy to put up and down and for 2010 vehicle it had a lot of options including heated seats and a push-button start. Also, the host was very flexible and responsive. Highly recommend this vehicle for an amazing drive through the mountains of New Mexico.

The fees that Turo charges for a rental is sad and dishonest. The fee is already on top of the daily charge. I will be purchasing a vehicle in the near future and will never use Turo again because of these practices. I’ve already let my friends and family know of the not to use this service. During the time many people are struggling to put food on the table Turo is gouging customers.

We loved the car; loved the host--he was SUPER helpful. I HIGHLY recommend this rental! Pick up and drop off were smooth and I could not have asked for a better, cleaner or more fun vehicle. Way better than a traditional car rental. Our host even checked in to make sure we didn't need anything, which was also great.

The car we used was very clean and maintained. The owner was in touch and kind, he also checked up on us to ensure everything was ok. The system gave me some issues in posting the pictures of the car but other than that no other issues. The ease of changing drop off time was great, the reduced fee for insurance was amazing. I will use again if needed.

Carla communicated easily and was able to give us a hotel recommendation for the first night! We took word for it and it was great! She was Very easy to get ahold of. The entire trip was so easy due to the backup cameras and other lane departure reminders….just comfortable and clean car that felt safe to drive!

It was a great car very clean, smelled good. Directions to the car on point. It was very easy to find. Not far from shuttle bus stop. The whole rental experience overall was great. Communication was great. Anytime I had a questioned, it was answered within the hour if not right away.

This is my fourth or fifth Turo experience and like all previously it was flawless and exceeded expectations. Easy to use everything as advertised. So much easier than regular car rentals and with extra service and no lines to wait in.

Using the platform was very easy to do. Made contact with the host and was very pleased with the results. The car was in good shape exactly what I needed for my trip. I will be using this platform again in November. Again, everything was as advertised and hope that my next adventure will go just as smoothly as this one has.

William/Stuart were very communicative and responsive. The truck was meticulously maintained and clean. Received many compliments and shared William/Stuart's information with family and friends. They have a few other vehicles that I'm sure are just as well maintained as this one. Looking forward to working with them again in the future. Thank you

Overall everything thing was great great host! I didn't have any issues that bothered me. The car was great on gas and I really enjoyed it! I would most definitely use it again or try any other car the host has to offer. It was easy to get ahold to the host if I needed any questions or anything. I think that it was awesome that the host had extra offers to offer such as thing that we would need for the beach! I wasn't expecting that. Yes it was great! Everything.

I love everything about Turo,, it has been a very big help inconvenience for me business family wise or just to get out for the weekend. It’s a very good experience to have. The hosts are very wonderful. Every host I have had. I have had a very good experience with customer. Service is very respectful and helpful as well. I just love dealing with the whole company all the way around.

Great service reliable the application. It’s a very simple to use and it does allow you several options that are very useful based on your means. This was my first time Turo and I compare prices. I actually did save over $100 in about a week average rental. I highly recommend Turo, whether you are on vacation work or you are needing to rent a vehicle for Fun there are selection guidelines and variety or all great great choice.

Had a great trip!!! Host was EXTREMELY nice and friendly!!! Dropped the vehicle off to us at the airport, which made things EXTREMELY easy for us. Car was VERY clean and well maintained. We had no issues during our trip, nor was there any issues dropping off the vehicle. Great experience and I would do it again!!!

Updated on 10/11/2024: Initially I gave my trip 5 stars as I found the car I needed. I picked up from the airport, paid the parking fee as agreed and was on my way. The car was perfect. The day before the trip ended the check engine light came on but I believe it just needed an oil change. I let Alex know and continued my trip. When I returned the car to the airport spot agreed I informed Alex so he wouldn't incur a charge for being there too long. However days later I received an invoice for tolls which I expected and another for the parking at the end of my trip, unexpected as it was 4x what I paid to pick up the car. When I questioned this Turo just took the money out of my account without an explanation. That's not good business practice, a simple explanation was definitely warranted.

The car was amazing. It ran nice and was very interesting. I love the car in so many ways ac, heated seats, and very smooth. I loved every minute being in the car. It saved on gas as well. It wasn’t a gas guzzler. It made my evening and day so much easier. I had no issues whatsoever with the car.

Sad to say there should’ve never been a wait to get inside the vehicle. Months leading up to the day of pick up I received a text the vehicle was no longer a TURO Go, so I left it alone. I get to the vehicle and waited an hour to get inside. Never booking a vehicle without the Turo go option.

I was booking a last-minute trip to Denver and back for a conference, and conventional rentals were sky-high in price. I found a great car for a third of the price here and had a great experience from start to finish. I loved the car we were able to get, the renter was friendly and very communicative, and the trip went off without hitch!

Host at your own risk!!! My very first Turo renter took my 9 month old Ford Bronco rock crawling in Moab and drove it through muddy flood waters... It was returned with both flood and physical damage to the degree that it required 28 hours of restoration work and multiple new parts. My total loss on this is in the thousands in addition to my own time spent trying to restore the vehicle. Turo forces you into an arbitration process that requires a long-drawn out process to resolve disputes, which could last between 4-6 months while you lose money daily not being able to use/rent your vehicle.

Hi Kirk, my trip was Great! I gave a 4 star because my car wasn't there when I got there. My schedule and errands were to start as soon as my time requested. However, that didn't happen. I asked for another car and the young man said he had one but it needed to be cleaned, washed and gas up. That was another 15 mins I had to wait. Even with them saying it was being cleaned I had to clean the inside. As far as the car, general maintenance you do need new wipers, shake when I press on the brakes, and rain only make it sway from side to side. But I'm happy.

All good experiences from searching/selecting vehicle on Turo app, communication with the host, setup the pickup location and instructions. Host took all the pictures of vehicles ahead of time and posted on the app, made it really quick to pick up the vehicle. Van is in perfect condition. I returned the van exactly as I picked up, full tank of gas, clean and within 500 miles.

Great car and just as described. The rental process was smooth, and the host gave excellent detailed instructions on how to pick up and drop off the vehicle. They also informed me of any issues that pertained to the vehicle before I picked it up. I would definitely rent again!

It was very bad because I never found a place to park and leave the vehicle and they charged me $55 dollars to my card. They hold me more responsible than the owner of the vehicle for not having a definite parking space, that is an issue they should consider better before allowing a car on the app.

Private owner rental has become my go to for convenience and the expanded options. An SUV in Alaska that seats 6 and a 4x4 Jeep in Kona were easily secured through Turo. The process was smooth and the owners were extremely accommodating to the varied situations. Cars were delivered to within a few steps of where we arrived. Highly recommend.

Everything went perfectly. Hector was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The car was immaculate and in perfect condition. The pickup and delivery was very easy and there were no problems. Hector was very helpful when we had some difficulties figuring out how to use some functions of the radio. He was prompt and courteous with his replies and assistance. It was a very good experience.

I enjoy using Turo cause it allows me to drive cars. I would never be able to afford and or find at a rent a car. I do car shows every year for charity and Turo allows me to find these exotic cars I can display. Turo is very convenient for me.

I rented a 2024 Toyota Corolla for my week in Orlando. Getting to the car was easy, a shuttle picked us up right where we were told it would. The car was clean and ready to go. All features worked properly. Returning the car was as simple as dropping it off. Wonderful rental experience.

Joe is a awesome host! Thanks again! The vehicle is in perfect condition and comfortable clean and full of gas at pick up. Perfect for driving around on the island. Easy and convenient up and drop off process went smoothly. I definitely recommend joe to everyone who visits the big island!

We rented a Mazda from Fathi and the car was in great shape, drove well, very clean. We were happy with the experience and Fathi was very accomodating. We needed to change our times for return at one point and Fathi was quick to respond and help us adjust our schedule. Very good experience.

Picking up the vehicle was convenient. I arrived with my GoPro and two witnesses to inspect the vehicle. There were issues with marks on the tires, but the owner resolved the issue instantly which was great when it comes to meeting our needs. The owner stayed in contact if necessary and drop off was time efficient.

The car was fine, my birthday coupon was helpful :). The guy was had very good communication. I will always use Turo for my vehicle needs. Send more coupons :). It was a pleasant In city use for my needs.

Angela and her husband (sorry l forgot his name) are great to rent from. Great communication from beginning to end of trip. The day I picked up the car it was hot, the car was parked in the shade for me. This is just the was they do everything always doing a little extra and super nice. This is the second time I have rented from Angela and will continue to do so.

Turo has nice cars. The process of talking to the host is easy and efficient. The Turo app makes getting a car easy and fast. The car owner was friendly. I liked how I could pick up the car from the most convenient location. Overall, I was quite pleased with my car and my trip was fabulous.

First time using TURO. Was nervous being a first timer but everything was great and easy. Quicker than waiting at any car rental place and standing there for hours. Our car was clean and actually had a new car smell to it too. Neo the owner was easy to work with. All comm was thru messages. I would have liked talking directly to a person but this was easy enough.

Awesome car, clean, smooth ride and great miles to the gallon. The host made everything simple from the pick up location as well as the drop off location. I highly recommend host Elroy if you're ever in Atlanta area and need a rental that is reasonably priced and reliable vehicle. Thanks again!

Overall Turo is a wonderful idea. It’s great to have a wide variety of vehicles on short notice. The fees are a little steep only for short reservations though. If you book 30 days it’s actually a VERY impressive deal. Overall I’m satisfied with my results thus far and plan to continue booking with Turo.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with your company’s customer service and the unethical business practices that I have encountered. From my recent experience, it is clear that the burden of proof unfairly falls on the renter, which is not only unreasonable but also reflects poorly on the company’s commitment to fairness and transparency. It seems that hosts are given preferential treatment, while renters, who rely on the platform for a safe and trustworthy experience, are left in a vulnerable position without proper recourse.

We rented a Jeep in Kona, Hawaii and the experience was seamless. Easily booking, pick up, and drop off. No need to rent from traditional car rental companies when Turo is available. We have always had great experiences with Turo. Can't wait for our next trip and what kind of car we can pick.

Turo has a great selection of vehicles at a variety of rates. Rental car agencies have just become so blah blah blah. Half the time you don't get the vehicle that you reserved! And they start out "hey this is a killer rate" and then nickel and dime you for every additional driver, want you to buy their super expensive insurance and overcharge you for fuel. Turo has none of that. You get what you book and you get what you pay for. This was my second rental with Turo and each car owner communicated well. The vehicle was at the airport in a parking lot so you do have to take care of the parking fee. No big deal. I highly recommend Turo as an alternative to traditional car renting.. Just like I book most of my accommodations on Airbnb! Welcome to the new economy!

I would recommend anyone who needs a rental car with no hassles to use Turo. It is very affordable and convenient without having to worry about getting overpriced or having to have a major credit card. I will definitely recommend my family and friends! Mr. Kevin ** is a great host.

We had a great trip in the jeep! We explored the island in style. The ride of the jeep is well. It’s a Jeep so don’t expect a luxury vehicle but the views we got with the top down made up for feeling a bump or two. I would recommend this Jeep to my friends and family!

My experience with Brandon's Honda Civic was very pleasurable. The Car was very plush and ran smooth. The communication with Brandon was on point and willing to give assistance in any way. I would recommend this car to all my friends visiting Vegas. The pickup and drop-off procedures were clear and simple.

Host was great. I'll be using them again hopefully. Vehicle was gorgeous, everything was easy and I’ll use them again. The unlimited miles was great, price was awesome, ride was smooth and I’m happy I was able to leave my car there while I drove theirs. They made it so easy and outstanding.

I rented a Turo vehicle in July for our trip in September and was disappointed in the correspondence with the host and cancelled the car. I called Turo and they helped me find another vehicle and cancel the other. I am very pleased with Turo and my next host for the rest of my trip everything went seamlessly so I would recommend Turo to anyone wanting to rent a vehicle.

The vehicle was well maintained and clean as well as odor free. Upon arrival host met tight on time and it was a smooth transition from the airport departure. The vehicle was also well documented with images. The car was easy to drive with great gas mileage. The communication was great from host! Also very easy drop off! I would definitely recommend this vehicle.

The trip itself was okay. But now I am being charged with fees for things I did not do in or to the vehicle. I am being accused of smoking in the car. I don't smoke. And I am also being accused of scratches to the vehicle when the vehicle was given to be in bad shape, smelled bad and was filthy

My experience was great. Their cars are clean, their maintenance on their cars are excellent. I appreciate their customer service is excellent. They are the best out of all the rental I have used through Turo. I truly have no complaints. The hosts are the best. 5 stars ratings. It's worth the money you spend.

Our host Alec was great. Communication was very clear and concise, and the vehicle, 2024 Chevy Trax, was very nice, and it was very clean, and it was just as described in the add. I would definitely consider using this host and vehicle again if it is available.

Had a pleasant meeting with the host, was very happy with the rental, the overall service and the ease that the app provides to get a car to your standards and drive the way you choose to. No deposits makes things easier as well. I'm happy that there is a platform like this one so that I can pick the car that I want, not just fit into a box like the other rental services.

Turo was fantastic to deal with - great communication and good selection of vehicles. The car we rented was just as described and we loved having the hybrid vehicle to drive around Glacier NP. And we probably saved a couple of hundred dollars in the process. We would rent from Turo again in a second and recommend the service highly.

Great pick up at SFO, accurate bike rack, vehicle in perfect condition. Pick-up and drop-off went smoothly. Only negative a lot of extra fees for airport drop off and pick up. Bike rack as extra worked perfectly. The car was in excellent condition and host also. App booking also ok.

Wish they had more vehicles to choose from in my city. But overall, I like using Turo. It a great app to be able to rent cars and not hand to deal with rent a car places. It’s convenient and you have a much larger variety of vehicles to choose from.

Great overall experience. The vehicle was very nice and clean. I only ended using the vehicle for about 100 miles, but it served the purpose of getting us to and from our family's house for our visit. The shuttle service at Denver International Airport was not the best, but we managed.

Our host was excellent, communicative, kind, and respectful. He followed through with all of his services and promises. The vehicle was clean and drove well. We got decent gas mileage and had no problem with navigation. The best part about the whole encounter was that we didn’t have to wait in long lines and deal with the big company/Corporate procedures. This was my first time using Turo and Ivan provided an excellent experience. The vehicle was clean, gas tank was full, and he even left some bottled water for us. Communication through the Turo app was easy and Ivan was very responsive. It was such a good experience, I would definitely use Turo again. Super fast and easy experience! Much easier than going with a rental car company, and less expensive too! They had great car options, great pricing, clean cars. Was exactly what we needed without all the unnecessary stuff. We only needed it for getting from point A to point B. It did the job for us! Would definitely go with them again.

Turo is extremely easy to use and they keep you updated with everything you need to do and know! Their prices are way better than rental car companies by far! Just note when searching make sure to put your price range you’re looking to spend because if you do that there is so many options and of course the older the vehicle the cheaper when it comes to fees and insurance!

Russ has a great selection of vehicles and we are glad we chose the 2018 Nissan Armada. Great vehicle and great overall experience renting from Russ. We enjoyed renting our car from Turo in Las Vegas. The host was very attentive and accurate with her description of her vehicle. The car was clean and in great shape for the age. It totally suited our needs for enjoying the Vegas life for a few days. We would totally rent this vehicle again.

My trip was good. I had a small issue finding the correct charging station for my electric vehicle but my host was very responsive to my needs and was able to help me navigate through my situation. She stayed on the phone with me until I was able to safely locate a station to recharge. I am pleased with my decision and I enjoyed my trip. From the beginning the individuals that own the car were very communicative. Also, it was so easy to pick up the vehicle. I just wanted to say thank you for the great customer service. You were all polite and offered us to go back to them. It is awesome to see great customer service and understanding what the customer needs and once hats off to you and your family for a good business.

My wife and I rented the car for a 10 day trip to the Tetons and Yellowstone National Park. We drove over 1000 miles across the parks. It was a perfect vehicle for us. We had a super easy pick up and drop off. Stephen make everything easy and was a pleasure to work with.

Rental vehicle was washed, clean inside out, smelled good. The pick up was seamless, Aurora the host is so cordial and professional. She represents Turo in a very positive, responsive light. I also recommended my daughter which she rented a vehicle a couple of weeks ago while she was in town. I also recommended Turo to my friend Gloria. She rents a vehicle from Turo in California while on Business trips. She loves the more economical price point, convenience, and overall system in place for renting a vehicle.

The customer service was on an excellent level. The pick was very easy and the host Ruben was excellent. Although, they was slight problem in the end but it was resolved by Turo and I thank you guys and I can’t wait to rent again in a couple of months for another road trip.

The RAV4 worked out great for our trip. It was an easy pickup at the airport in Kona. Got us everywhere we needed to go. Car got great mileage, plenty of room for our luggage and was convenient when we needed room for 4. Drop off was simple as well. Would recommend.

I love the ease of renting a vehicle through Turo. There is no more wasting time in long rental car company lines. Once you locate the car, you load your luggage, take some pictures of the vehicle, turn the key, and you're ready to enjoy your vacation! It's the best!

Always love renting cars when I need them from Turo. Saves you the deposit these outrageous rental car companies wanna charge you. You can pick any car you want which is always nice. My son and I planned a trip to Spartanburg, SC for the BMW Driving Experience. We wanted to rent something that we have not driven in the past, so we rented the Porsche Macan. The car was great. The host was very responsive and easy to work with. All in all, an excellent trip.

The host was very detailed and timely in his communication. Car was exactly as described. Smooth, pleasant experience. Directions were very clear. App made it easy to communicate and check details. Good selection of vehicles, range of prices. I do wish additional drivers didn't have to create an account to be added. Should have them as a part of my account/profile. Not everyone wants to have an account.

I was able to rent Tim’s 2019 Tesla model three in Reading, California. First of all, I could not believe the car was a 2019! It seemed like it was brand spanking new! It was in practically mint condition. It could not have been more convenient and easy to get the car from TIM. He met us at the airport, right as we came out from baggage claim, there he was with the vehicle right at the curb. The car worked splendidly with no issues… And of course because it’s a Tesla, it was a lot of fun to drive! The return was ridiculously easy- drive to airport, park, leave card key in glovebox, hit ‘lock’ - done. As good if not way better than messing with the rental car counter! I’d rent from Tim again without hesitation!

Hello. I have used this site multiple times due to my car being in the repair shop. I understand the admin fee the first time but if I need to extend the rental I do not feel it is fair to be charged the admin fee again. I think you should just pay the fee for the rental because this last time I had to extend the rental multiple times meaning I paid between 150 to 200 dollars in admin fees.

2024 Subaru Crosstrek car was very clean and parked in the airport parking, directions to the car were easy to follow and find. Instructions to access the vehicle were easy the owner opened the vehicle remotely with instructions on where the key would be found. I would highly recommend renting through this agent.

The car owner met us on time and gave us the car at the airport arrival gate. The car was as advertised, clean and well-running. We dropped off the car at our airline departure gate and the owner was there to receive it. All operations and messages went very smoothly.

Overall, great experience. We unexpectedly needed a rental for a week and Turo was the best deal out there as well as the most convenient in regard to picking up and dropping off. Communication was excellent throughout the rental and return process as well. I’ve used Turo before and I would use them again.

I was charged for a late fee that never happened. I returned the vehicle in a timely matter and I was charged an insane amount. This is horrible customer service. I do not have a receipt on when I returned the car because the owner of the vehicle has it. I have no proof and they are not getting back to me. I will never use Turo again and will be sure to tell others.

Was easy and quick on app to find what we were looking for, easy to read instructions from host. Very quick responses to any questions we had. In My opinion much better experience than car rental companies that we have used in past and I believe better pricing for what we were looking for.. Very happy with overall experience was very positive process.

You should list the location in mileage distance not Zip code, you have to book before the location is disclosed, most of the time it comes up 1 hr from me, so I end up cancelling. I've been using the same host to rent last 4 times I rented, but when they don't have a car available, I run into the location issue.

I started at this new company this week, and I needed to get a ride to get to the carpool/Warehouse where my new company vehicle was for me to start my work week. It was a breeze. My driver was safe and a good conversation while he navigated me to the new Vehicle.

The Jeep was a perfect match for my visit with my son. Nice ride and very clean inside and out. Communication with Stefano was on point and the pick up and drop off was flawless. He gave me very clear instructions and was flexible with a few changes in time that were made at the last minute. I highly recommend Stefano's Jeep.

Definitely would recommend booking with Turo. All my experiences been phenomenal including the host I rent the vehicles from. Very professional nice and responsive. If there ever was any issue Turo wasted no time to correct and accommodate.. I will continue to book through Turo and recommend to others that’s traveling and save the hassle of renting from other car rental companies.

I went to the Tesla Supercharger Station on Friday morning and got a notification that my front passenger tire was flat. It went quickly from 30 psi to 1 psi. Apparently, the tire was in poor condition before the Trip. Turo should more actively make sure the cars are ready to go so that next time, I won't be losing 5 hours on my business trip.

The host was very helpful and polite. He even met me when I bought the car back....Plus the car was like brand new inside and outside... Very clean....It was just like in the picture that I saw on Turo... That's what I like....Not cars that are all beat up and dirty and stinky...And looks nothing like the picture on Turo.

Turo is the best site to rent an EV. Generally a great selection of Teslas and other EVs. The continued expansion of the TESLA supercharger network eliminates range anxiety. The Feedback website for Turo is a pain in the Axx.

My most recent Turo experience was as amazing. The host was excellent and made everything smooth. I have used Turo a few times and it’s been worth it every time. I will continue to rent using Turo. I love that you get a specific car that you pick. Picking up at the airport is also much easier than going to a typical rental company.

This car pickup was easy to go to! He was very communicative and gave great service! The only downside to it is that it smelled like cigarettes or of another substance. Not too sure! But other than that enjoyed the car and the things it offered. Hope to be able to use more cars in Turo! Really enjoyed taking some leisure time!

As usual it was great renting Hakeem’s Jeep Wrangler for a 3-day getaway. The vehicle was freshly washed & in excellent mechanical condition. I also returned it as I received & look forward to renting Hakeem’s Jeep Wrangler in the future!! Hakeem’s keeps his vehicles in excellent shape inside & out, the communication is excellent.

Trip fee price was ridiculous. I rented over a month and never got any days free or anything for renting so long for so much a day. For customers that rent back to back it should be some type of rewards we receive. I spent over $3300.00 between this month and last month and only received $39 off 1x.

I had already left a review but worthy of another! We had an extremely well cared for vehicle and a very nice host. We will look for Winston again the next time we get to SW Florida. Airport pickup and drop off is a bonus. Gives one more time to enjoy vacation.

The Genesis G80 is a fantastic SUV. The SUV is roomy and comfortable. The cruise control is excellent. It was very easy to pickup and return. I would definitely rent the GV80 again. The ride is smooth and the road noise is manageable. My wife and two other adult women were very impressed with the legroom and comfort of the seats.

Everything was easy with simple instructions. As a pilot flying into different locations, I find Turo to be an outstanding service. This was my 6th 'rental' and look forward to utilizing the service again. Thank you to my host, who has always been very cordial to work with. One day I may even try a muscle car!!

Marcus is very responsive. The truck I rented was spotless and very easy to find. 1500 miles was included in the rental. The only surprise was having to pay for parking to pick it up. Though the truck is 2 years old, it looks, smells, runs, and feels like a brand new rig! I will rent from Marcus again!

I have used Turo several times over the last couple of years and we've had only wonderful experiences. We've taken out-of-state trips and local trips and both the hosts and cars have been amazing!! Customer service is always amazing and the cars are always well kept and running great. I have never worried about having car trouble while in a host's car. We will definitely continue to use Turo.

Turo has been a great way to rent unique vehicles that wouldn't otherwise be offered by the corporate car rental chains. Both of the vehicle hosts have been stellar and so have both vehicles! It was very easy to set up a car and the second one even picked us up and dropped us off at the airport in Hawaii at 6 am! Over above and beyond!

This host insists on having guests pick up & drop off the vehicle in a parking lot which can only be accessed by exiting the airport & walking outdoors. This policy not only exposes the guest to the elements but also creates a potential safety issue, especially if pick-up or drop-off takes place at night. This policy also requires the guest to pay a parking fee which could easily be avoided. I have used other hosts at BNA who are more than willing to deliver the vehicle directly to the arrivals lane or to a parking garage where the guest can be dry & feel safer. I suggested to this host that they should consider making the pick up/drop off experience safer & more customer friendly.

I spent 15 minutes straight trying to complete a process to rent a car and was stuck at the point where you have to take a selfie and a scan of the front and back of your driver's license. I eventually gave up and resolved to try again at a later time and by the time I tried again, the car I wanted had already been rented out so I had to begin a whole second search for a car

This is the second time I have used Turo, and they do not disappoint. I rented a 2017 Subaru Outback from Zachary. The car was delivered to Ted Stevens Airport and was waiting for me upon arrival. Car was clean, fueled up and ready to go! We did not experience any issues at all. Fast, easy, and convenient is the best way to describe the whole experience. I will definitely use TURO again.

The convenience is compared to none. The cost is affordable, selection of cars is awesome. Website is very user friendly. As well as the owners of the vehicles have provided me a positive experience thus far! Kudos to Turo! I would recommended all my family and friends. Keep up the good work!

Dan was very professional, great communication. The drive was great. Family had enough room for our mini adventure. Only thing about the car. There are no other usb or c type charging ports in the back. Only in the front. But we managed and had long charging cords. We had a bit of a drive with kids in the car with their devices.

Hello, I am still waiting for Turo to contact me after my nightmare with my last Turo rental. I spent $330.00 of my own money because Turo kept contacting the wrong Tow company and after hours of 'No Show", I called a Tow truck on my own to come tow me. I also had to contact an EV charge company to charge the battery. I want to recover the $330.00 from Turo. I literally dealt with this issue for over 12 hours on one of my rental days. I extended a day because of the lost day I had with this Tow issue and Turo charged me for this makeup day which I still don't understand.

Let me start by saying thank you This was my First time booking through Turo and Donnell was excellent. His communication was great and I appreciate him for allowing me to book with him. I look forward to booking again. The car was clean, drove smooth and Donnell made it super easy and convenient.

I wish I could give less than 1 star. My poor experience with Turo was completely avoidable and, in today's app driven era, almost unbelievable. For those who have not rented with Turo in the past; it is a vehicle rental app with listings driven mainly by single private parties who lend their vehicles out, through the app, to registered users. I was the renter in this instance. I needed a passenger van, larger than a minivan, so that I could travel on vacation with myself, 3 other adults, and 2 children in car seats. We rented the car 6 months ahead of the vacation and had everything to be packed ready according to the size vehicle I rented. The Turo app charges the balance owed on the rental a week ahead of time (note that this went through without issue).

I have used Turo now several times in several different states. The prices are always cheaper than if I used a rental company. I compared the Turo price with a car rental company for my first three or four trips. You have more flexibility when renting from Turo and the vehicles have always been clean and exactly as described.

Turo has been nothing but a hard time since booking with them. I will not recommend people to use Turo. This has cost me so much and they close your account with false accusations. Turo hold people deposit with misinformation. When you call they don’t give you reason. No one email you and they keep.

I will recommend a friend and family. It's a good app to rent From and the hots is a great person and a good app. Not too Pricey. It's just right. All the car are in good shape to rent. Get you where you got to go there and back.

Great communication, great durable van for 8, and overall good experience. Easy to deal with and nice to trust what people say when they promise things. Ease of drop off and pick up. Ease of what to do and what was needed. Vaughn communicated and answered all of my questions well. He met us at our resort and we dropped off at the airport which was nice and easy.

All but one time, Turo is the most convenient rental platform available and I love it, I will continues to use Turo as long as it’s around. I will definitely be recommending Turo to friends and family, and it’s very affordable and can work to your budget depending on trip time.

When we realized we needed a bigger vehicle for our trip, this car fit the bill. It was great as we were able to put down the third seat which gave us plenty of room for the knee scooter one of us needed. Great gas mileage and some really nice things like waters and garbage bags. Highly recommend Ember!

Our host and Turo were professional and helpful. The Turo shuttle at Lihue Airport was confusing to find because it was late at the airport and we couldn’t find a helpful airport employee on the sidewalk. Perhaps more signage. The drivers were great and drop off location were conveniently located. Car was as described.

The cars are a great deal, easy to rent, no dealing with rental agencies that rip you off and only take certain payments. Hosts are super nice and very helpful. Would totally recommend it to anyone. They also do a deal that if you rent 10 times you get a discount.

The Pick up and drop off process is easy and simple and convenient. I have nothing to complain about my host. He was great and clear with instructions. But the extra fees almost made me cancel my reservation. Extra $85 delivery fee and then $37 trip fee. Most likely, next time I rent a car, I will book it with a big rental company. Once again, my host and the car were amazing.

Car was clean and good working condition, though there is a light on the dash that we could never figure out what it was indicating. We probably should’ve gone just a bit bigger as the addition of luggage and the chairs and the umbrellas made for a very tight squeeze to and from the airport. If the chairs have been bad chairs versus, bigger chairs it might’ve been easier. We are recommending to a friend as well for their next trip.

I’m grateful for the great communication with my host. The only snag I had with pick up and drop off was using the app to lock and unlock the vehicle. This definitely added extra time and frustration to the process. I tried contacting Turo using the chat feature and it didn’t work. Eventually the host was able to unlock the car remotely but it definitely was a source of frustration.

Had no issues with our rental with Turo. The website is so easy to use, there are no hidden fees whatsoever!! Everyone I have rented from made things easy as well. We have scheduled easy drop offs and pickups. The ability to pay and communication with whom I’m renting from is super easy.

I have used Turo when traveling to different states, when my car has been in the shop, for long trips to the mountains or just because I wanted a fun car for the weekend. It’s been great! I’ve never had one issue with a car or owner and I recommend it to my friends all the time. It’s awesome!

I have used Turo now probably about 5 or 6 times in many different locations around the US. Honestly it's always so easy to book and get the car. All of the rentals have been great as well as their owners. It's hassle free and you don't have to deal with rental company's charging all the extra fees. I'll continue to use Turo for all travel car needs.

App was simple to use, would highly recommend for anyone on a trip that wants to avoid the hassle of dealing with a rental agency. This is my 3rd time using Turo and I will continue to book with them in the future for convenience.

Turo is ok in the clutch. They have vehicles available when needed. The rates are reasonable however the extra fees be as high as the rental which outrageous. As much as I rent vehicles Turo don't give back to me as a consumer ie. coupons or discounts. I do recommend Turo over any other rental company due to the fact they don’t ask for all the extra documentation and deposits.

Updated on 09/25/2024: I received calls from a mediator who spoke really bad English and seemed not to know what he was doing. He did say the claim would be solved in two days and then I would receive a decision. It took a week, they sided with the host. I may be out 4 or 5 hundred dollars now. I will not use Turo again, customer service is horrible, maintenance is dependent on the host. This host is not renting out a spare car, it’s a business. I will not recommend to anyone to use Turo. I feel like I got ripped off. I don’t even know if they received my side of the story.

The car was great. Pickup and drop off went smoothly. The car was clean and had plenty of space. The car even has a carwash service included so you don’t have to worry about finding a vacuum cleaner that works. They have plenty of them at the car wash location that you can use.

No hassle renting. Host available if needed very helpful and accomodating during check in. Price is right, car clean and well maintained though what I chose is a little older. Location is very convenient, easy to find, very safe and no hassle picking up and returning. I definitely would rent again.

The van was exactly what we needed. Worked very well for our group of 8. Plenty of room for seating and luggage. We drove it to several national parks. Comfortable and was very clean. The van was easy to maneuver. It would not fit in parking garages but we had no problem with that. This is our second experience with Turo. Would definitely recommend this service.

Not only is Turo cheaper than renting through old school box store rental chains, it allows the renter to enjoy almost any car they desire. If you want to “try” a certain vehicle out before purchasing or you just want to check a driving experience off of your bucket list, Turo works for that as well!

Turo has been nothing but amazing to me! They helped get me out of a couple situations where my vehicle was not working I need a vehicle. Don’t get my kids to school. I need to work. Prices are usually even better than normal rental car places… but every once in a while, you will find the prices shoot up pretty high. The car runs great! The host was friendly. It was a very easy check in and check out. I like the the convenience of being able to easily check in and provide my info in advance. I will rent again in the future. The car is not that good on gas but overall good. The price was reasonable.

Turo is very thorough with this app and they approach each transaction with great attention and punctuality..The Hosts are very communicative with attention to every detail dealing with their vehicles..I’m a loyal customer and probably won’t rent again with those other big name rental companies unless out of town with plane vacations.

I was charged additional fees after my booking by the host that were never agreed upon. He charged us for parking before and after we picked up the vehicle. We never agreed to these terms. I reached out to customer service. Customer service asked me to send in documentation and I did. Customer service replied 6 days later after several prompts just to tell me that they will not refund any charges. I am highly disappointed and will never use this company again unless this particular issue is properly addressed and rectified. I'm happy to provide more information.

Would use Turo again. This is the 2nd time we have used Turo. Affordable with nice, clean, well maintained cars. Easy to book, pick up, and drop off. Communication was great with renter both times. Better option than regular rental agencies. Next time will be a red car maybe a convertible.

So far so good. I have had no problem with this service. And for the same price of a rental car company you can get that fits you. I went to Las Vegas and wanted a 4 wheel drive with a top that comes off found it. Rental car companies didn't have.

The car I rented from Scott had multiple issues. I did leave him 5 stars anyways as I did not want to hurt his ratings. He rented me a car with a leaking tire, grinding and squeaking brakes, and the worst issue was a really bad smell coming out of air vents especially on the hot humid days when I had to use the AC. Maybe mildew/mold in the vents but I am not sure. It made me almost sick after the first real hot humid day and I quit using it for the remainder of my trip. I've rented many vehicles the past few years and this was by far the worst and hard to deal with. All of my other Turo rentals have been good. I am still happy that you are an option for renters.

The host was very nice and helpful, friendly and took his time to explain everything. Had 5 other cars that he rents out. When I had a question he answered it. It was raining and we stood in the rain talking. The car was clean inside and out. Would rent from him again.

Great experience. Only downside is the trip fees, they are so high! A traditional rental place is more practical but if you don’t have options this works out. Just a lot more expensive, unfortunately. Had the trip fees been lower I would’ve booked longer and more frequently. I did like the car though and my experience personally was a great, just costly.

The vehicle was very easy to locate. The exterior and interior were clean and well taken care of. I had no problems driving it where I needed to go and was able to extend my drop-off time to later in the day without problems. If available, I would try to use again and I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone who is looking for a vehicle to use in the Chicago area.

It was so much easier to rent a vehicle through TURO than traditional rental companies. Not waiting in line to pick-up the car is the best perk. Our car was waiting right outside the front door of the airport. I also like being able to confirm exactly what car I will be driving in advance.

My experience was great with the host, he was there from the time I picked the car up to the end of the trip but when it comes to Turo, I did not have a good experience with them and I will not be renting from them again. They need to explain the insurance a little more and if you have full coverage you should not have to pay anything and it sucks for the host because he was great.

Host was good at responding. Car was new, walking distance from home, and in excellent mechanical condition. Sometimes I like to return cars a little earlier and even the night before to not risk any damage caused by street parking it in Los Angeles but I am not always able to find hosts that can accommodate which is totally fine.

Charles, our contact was responsive when booking, picking up, and returning the vehicle. Would definitely recommend him. Made our trip around Detroit and Ann Arbor so much fun. The process was so much easier than using a car rental company. Being able to pick up the car right as we exited the terminal was perfect.

I rented a beautiful Mustang convertible for a visit in Tampa and using Turo was absolutely worth it. The car was waiting for me in the airport parking garage so I did not have to shuttle to an offsite car rental and wait for hours like I’ve previously done. My host, Casey, was very responsive and gave a lot of details for checking in, during trip and the drop off. Way more convenient and less expensive than traditional car rental companies.

I have used Turo 3 times now. The very first time, there was an issue with the vehicle and my trip was literally that day but turo found me a replacement vehicle within 30 minutes. I love using turo especially since there's no $300 deposit required that you have to wait 7-10 days to get back. The vehicles and hosts I have had have been wonderful. I rented the same car twice from a host and both times have been excellent.

When I showed up to pick up the vehicle I reserved for 9/1/2024, it would not unlock. The owner walked by and let us in. In retrospect, allowing him to do so was a huge mistake, as I was not able to document security photos accordingly. The entire trip went smoothly. However, when it came time to return in the car, there were no instructions on how to charge the vehicle or what the expectations were. When we picked up the car, it was charged to 86%, which is below the required charging requirements. We returned it with approximately 30% of charge, but the owner reached out and said that we owed him a fee for much lower than we had actually returned it for. He also inflated the charge that he had left the car when our trip started.

Using smoking policy to charge people smoking fees with old pictures from his gallery car was smoked in previously before I rented. He sent in inaccurate evidence and I still was charged, he sent. Pictures of 2 different doors and told them it was raining. Also why is the ground not wet.

I appreciate the Turo Customer Support team for guiding me through the dispute. Both reps were pleasant and timely, and they gave me instructions and reassurance on my questions. I am very disappointed with the Co-Host, Jefferson, from my recent reservation for wrongfully accusing me of not refueling the vehicle I rented for 4 days. Sadly, I will not rent through his car service in the near future.

This Honda Civic was fun to drive, got excellent mileage, and was always easy to find because of its beautiful bright red exterior! Carlos was an excellent host who accommodated my needs every time by giving me the option to pick up and drop off the car right at the parking lot at Palm Springs.

We needed a minivan for family visiting from England and using Turo was a perfect solution. The experience was very positive and the price was very competitive (much cheaper than going through a car rental company). Highly recommend! Daniel was easy to work with and very responsive and car worked out perfectly.

Angelo was very communicative, and the car was great to drive. It also had great mileage, so we didn't need to fill it up that much. My only qualm is that I did not realize that extending a reservation by even a minute means that you are charged an extra day. Otherwise, I would have kept the vehicle. I wish that would have been communicated to me (as the app did not show "additional charges" when I requested the extension). All in all, Angelo was great but the Turo platform is meh.

The car had got impounded from a traffic stop and due to that happening you guys closed my account I don’t understand why but please update me ASAP because this is a very big inconvenience for me not being able to book Cars due to the impound so if you guys can update me that would be great.

Quick, convenient, and a good experience. This booking really helped me with getting to school and running errands. I do however have issue with the young driver fee not being refundable. I’d understand if it was just on hold in case of an accident or something, but the fact that it’s just a fee taken no matter what is age-ist.

The owners I have worked with have been great. Nice cars. Easy pick up/drop off instructions. Excellent communication! Turo helped me when the car I was to get the next day, was stolen. They found me another owner and car, Turo even paid the difference between the cars. It was seamless, they took care of everything. A++++++

If you want to Host Turo & place your own car on their app don’t, I found out it’s very bad idea, Turo doesn’t protect your car what happens after it leaves your hands. I have almost new vehicle & there was so much soda dropped on the seats that it almost damaged the modulus of the car and when I call Turo the outcome was horrible. They say that there is not enough dirty that is visual on the pictures so they decline my request. They don’t see dirty but they can’t what Soda can do or any liquid to the seats. What a genius customer service. I have to pay almost all the earnings to detail shop. Don’t trust Turo.

The owner charged me for a full tank plus a fee but I returned the car with the same level I found it when I picked it up. Communication was also hard since he never responded. I kindly ask you for a refund of the 40.50 he charged. Thank you very much.

Renting with TURO is great and cheaper than other rental car. You may go contact directly to owner. Clean and well maintained. This is the 3rd time using TURO to rent a vehicle. You no longer have to wait in line at a car rental agency and hope you get the car you wanted. You get the exact vehicle you chose, and you paid for. I've never had any issues with using TURO. It's so easy and convenient to use.

Great experience and Justin was outstanding to work with. Car was perfect for our trip. Our first Turo experience one year earlier was not great with over-inflated tires on a much older car. Decided to pay a bit more for a newer car and this changed our experience with a Turo rental.

The host was pretty nice and hospitable but the car did have some reliability issues so I ended the trip early. It was shaking pretty bad while stopped at idle, the steering wheel, seat and pedals basically the whole car then it was not shifting correctly during moderate acceleration. They claimed the car was driving as it should but their mechanic determined otherwise. Then gave me a negative review even when proven right.

My drive was fine. The car was fine and the host was Super, I am disappointed in Turo. As a large company refunds need to be released much sooner than your 7 day waiting period. 2-3 days is the standard. Even 5 days max. There is no excuse other than moving funds around during a 7 day period and for others with Apple Pay. I feel sorry for how long their waiting period is. This is a shameful tactic.

I have used this service extensively, it is very convenient and easy to get a car quickly. You do pay more than an average rental company, but you have the convenience of finding cars near you that you can access easily. And no down payment hold on a card like the rental companies do.

Johnathan has always been very helpful when renting from him. Ive rented multiple times and he has always exceeded expectations. Cars are well kept and are great for long or short trips alike. It's been great having such a reliable transportation connection when visiting. I would highly recommend using Johnathan for your rental needs while in the anchorage area!

We arrived to Chicago O'hare earlier than expected, contacted Luis even though we were early, he rushed to the airport and picked us up right at our arrival door, he helped us load our luggage and we were off! Vehicle included ipass which made it easy on the tollway, even though it was a 2011 it ran like brand new. I have used Turo before and have had great service, this was above and beyond being picked up right at our exit. Vehicle was clean and ran great! Extended our trip by a day, smooth communication with Luis, drop off was easy, parked in lot D and left the keys in the lock box, Will definitely use his services again.

We loved the Outlander we rented from Dylan. Such a clean, nice vehicle. Dylan was great to communicate with. He responded quickly to any questions I had and he was very flexible. I would definitely rent from him again and recommend him to all my friends. Can't wait until my next trip.

John (owner), was great great to deal with. This is the second time I’ve rented from him and he could not make it any easier. The entire process from start to finish was a breeze. John checks in to make sure all is well and there are no issues. His cars are in great condition and extremely clean.

We had some issues with the tires, which were just a coincidence and not the car owner’s fault, but it was really nice to be able to message back and forth so easily. He was always very quick to respond and give assurance. Everything worked out and it was a great trip.

This was my first time using Turo so I had so reservations about how it would go. I arrived at the airport and found the car but was never given any type of access code so I was unable to get into the car. After a few unsuccessful attempts to contact the host, I called the Turo help line and they were able to help and get me going on my way. From that point forward everything was a positive experience.

We rented a beautiful suburban from Juan through Turo and the car worked out perfectly. He was very helpful assisting us to upload our photos and driver's licenses. He was very communicative and easy to work with. The only suggestion I would make is to park the car near a terminal bridge. We had to run with our luggage in driving rain to find the car that was nowhere near the terminal bridge.
