Our trip was good but I think the stuff in the Grand Canyon is short. We were only there for an hour and we were traveling for seven hours. That is the worse part of the tour, but the rest was good.

My experience with Tours4Fun was so nice. It's very good and cheap except that the room was too small. It's one day in Europe where it used to be two days. I notice it's cheap because it's much cheaper to go from here to Europe and we would like to see more of Vatican and Rome. Everything was great. The guide, Sebastian, was very good and helped us. The hotel was nice too. I already recommended my neighbor and she's going to buy from Tours4Fun to Europe next summer.

We booked a trip to Boston during our stay in New York. We arrived at the meeting place and our trip began promptly. Our tour guide Richard was wonderful. You could tell he really enjoyed his job. He was very informative during the ride up, giving us information along the way, and in Boston he was great. This was one of the highlights of our vacation and we are planning to return to Boston to finish visiting this wonderful city. Richard, again, made our trip.

We bought our tour online from Tours4Fun. When we were in New York and wanted to go there, we went to the wrong place and were way too late for the tour and they gave us a tour for the night stay. That was really nice of them. We were running around in New York and searching for the address and thought you can get off the boat and go around in the island but that wasn't the case. Everyone was just on the boat and see the statue from far away. It would be better if you can go around and check the island and go on the statue. This tour wasn't really like the tour we thought we might have so we got a little bit disappointed.

I was actually looking into something else in the internet and Tours4Fun came up. Overall, our booking with Tours4Fun was excellent. Absolutely no problem, very quick and professional. I had to read a lot to decide which tour is good on reviews because I had time, like what is covered in the helicopter tour, the airplane tour and how they differ. But a simple thing could have been clearer differentiators, the kind of information, in one chart would have been helpful. Other than that, it was a great experience.

The Grand Canyon is a beautiful place. The helicopter ride was very expensive and that is one big concern so we went by plane and it was good. The plane ride was smooth. Pictures came out well. We actually were asked to be picked up in a hotel and they asked us to go to Green Valley Ranch in Las Vegas which is a big casino with multiple entrances. There are 20 to 30 entrances in the three-mile stretch. You enter into a ranch and you have no clue where the main entrance is.We went to the South entrance instead of the main entrance. "Who do I talk to?" I go and ask them, they were like, "Hey, that is an entrance." Because nobody is there in the lobby. I was lost.

I called them and they said, "Okay, you have 10 more minutes and I will relay the message to the cab driver." The cab driver went to the main entrance, not the South entrance. The cab driver was amazing and went the extra mile to hunt us down, the whole family who are waiting at the South entrance. That I appreciate. Maybe things can be streamlined a little bit at the start, something like a bright spot at the entrance where the lion is there. The cab driver was very nice and took us and after that, it was a smooth ride. People were polite and nice. We bought more than what we wanted at that boutique and blew up all the money. Everything was great!

A friend has taken one of Tours4Fun's tours before. I chose them over other travel sites because the price was competitive and they had a very detailed introduction of the tours. The site is easy and very straightforward. I asked a question for the customer service in the Q&A section and they responded in two days which was okay.

I had a very good experience with several tours I took just a few days ago. I took advantage of the Rewards4Fun program. It’s very convenient. I used my points to get some discounts for the tour that I booked. The one I took most recently was the tour for the Oak Alley Plantation near New Orleans. It was pretty nice and the driver and tour guide was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. Tours4Fun is very convenient, comfortable, and very nice overall.

Tours4Fun is a good tour. Customer service and everything is good. All the things are transparent and pretty well-organized. The only thing which I didn’t like is they are asking for all the guide and travel charges compulsory for each and every member. Even for kids, they are charging per member. Also, I was not part of the Grand Canyon tour so I should not give money for those days. The guide service should be complimentary so it would be some people are required, some people are not required. So it’s unnecessarily added on top of the tour package. But services are certainly fine. The quality of hotels we are boarding is the very best. The on-time service is perfect, too. So overall, I agree with my experience and I was happy with Tours4Fun.

I did two tours with Tours4Fun - one was in Grand Canyon and another one in Los Angeles. The first one in the Grand Canyon, it was from Las Vegas. I think it's too short because we were in the bus for 12 hours and yet 1 hour tour in Grand Canyon. So I don't like that and really disappointed with the tour. I was also disappointed in Los Angeles because we didn't stop in Beverly Hills and Sta. Monica Beach. We stayed in the Walk of Fame for 20 minutes, and the driver went to Mexico town. That's okay but I don't want to see that in Los Angeles. So in the middle of the tour, I took off from the bus and I made my own tour because I just have one day to see the city. My tour was $65 and I think it was horrible. I was very upset with the company.

I wasn't sure if she's directly related to Tours4Fun but the lady we had to redeem our tickets from before we joined the trip in Washington D.C., was very disappointing because she was very rude. The ticket that I printed out was not very good and I only have a simple phone. She wanted to know if the trip was really for Washington for 9 hours. There was another customer who offered to lend me her iPhone. That was just a very sad experience for me, but overall the trip, that 9-hour trip, was really very pleasant, and I told myself if my other relatives from the Philippines would come, I would still bring them to that 9-hour bus tour. It's a very nice trip.

I've been to Washington many times and I was able to compare, because last time when my relatives came, we joined the Cap on, Hat off and I thought that it starts a big loss. With Tours4Fun, it was a guided tour. The driver was really very knowledgeable. He knew we had to go to the Library of Congress. He told us what to see, what to expect, what to see more. He was really very nice, I enjoyed every minute of it. Even the White House, we had to see only the back, I saw Washington DC in that 9-hour trip, basically everything that needs to be seen, and it was a very beautiful experience. I look forward to the trip to Mount Rushmore and Yellowstone this coming March or April. I have invited my two sisters and a nephew for spring break. I've been telling my friends that the next time we tour, we'd be joining Tours4Fun.

We've just completed two tours, one 3 days from LA round California and one from LA to Las Vegas and Grand Canyon. Both times we were with Asia-America tour company. The first, no complaints except the pickup from the airport was not there to meet us and we had to make a panicked call to the company to remind the representative we were waiting at LAX! The second tour was much more problematic. Without being informed, we discovered that one of the night's accommodation was switched from Las Vegas to a remote, very basic Indian reservation-ranch close to the Grand Canyon. There was nothing to do, or even TV!!! Why weren't we told? We'd planned to see a show that night in Vegas! On returning to LA, the transportation back to the hotel was a shambles and we had to wait almost 2 hours!!! We were most unhappy with this apparent disregard for customer service from Asia-America company. Come on, guys, sharpen up your act! These dramas spoiled an otherwise enjoyable trip.

We understand that you felt some of the sightseeing stops arranged as as part of the itinerary were very brief, but please take into account the duration of your tour (2 days) and the fact that your tour required a drive from New York City to Washington D.C. with the itinerary schedule having certain time constraints when visiting less popular locations. Normally, the tour is set up to spend a little more time at the more popular locations, but the tour guide may decide to shorten the sightseeing times at the less popular locations in favor of spending more time at the more popular sights depending on how closely the tour follows the schedule.

This tour was not too bad. I would have rather been told we spend the majority of the time on the bus and not much time in the city. I felt rushed the entire trip when it should have been my vacation. A time to relax and have fun! I am satisfied with the trip but for future I think you guys should let the people know there is a lot of time on the bus and not much time in the cities. This is a trip of a lifetime and if the timing was coordinated better I think you could get a lot more business. Also on the description for the hotels it says you stay in 4 star hotels the entire time. From what we stayed in I find this hard to believe. I am sure you have good relationships with hotels but they were not that nice. And a major thing was they were in the middle of nowhere each time. I was curious on why that was. Overall the trip was good. We saw a lot and I loved that I got to step my foot down in a lot of places! Thanks for the opportunity and I hope this helps your companies in the future!

Only issue was that from our seats on the plane, the propellers were in the way for picture taking. We were in the 2nd seat back and had no choice over our seating as they seated by weight and handed us a seat assignment before boarding. The windows for these seats was not as wide either.

I was going through many sites and just checking where I can get a good deal on my tour and I found Tours4Fun. The online purchase was a good experience. Though it was sometimes very hectic, I didn't have any problems throughout my tour. I took a few tours in San Francisco and New York tour, which was good. I felt that sometimes the tours are very hectic because there was a rush. I can understand that there is very little time to cover all the places which are mentioned, but we had very little sleep. We were getting up at 6:00 in the morning and we were just dumping ourselves in the house at night, 10:00 or something like that. It happened in most of the tours. There's not much time to relax or to chill out. I can understand that it's the format of the tour and there's nothing much you can do unless you change the tour plan.

Also, we didn't really like the tour much. The microphone sound was kind of bad. You cannot hear everything well in the back of the bus. And they're very strict with time and that doesn't make me feel really warm or welcome to the tour. Maybe it's China's culture or western culture, but they could be warmer with the tourists. On the upside, tour was very well scheduled and they can really show you the most important places. You don’t waste time seeing these parts that are not really important. They picked the most important places in the cities.

This was by far the worst tour we've ever taken. First they "forgot" to pick us up at the appointed time. By the time they sent someone to get us to join tour, the tour was delayed and the rude bus driver acted as though it was our fault when they are the ones who didn't pick us up. About a 1/2 hour out of Las Vegas, he announced we'd be getting back later than planned "so if anyone has tickets for a show tonight, you'd better get off the bus now." The driver was rude to many others on the trip during the day, telling us if we weren't back on the bus in 15 minutes he was leaving, and finally, at the end of the day, instead of dropping us off at the hotel as he was supposed to do, he let us off a block away and my husband who has trouble walking had a difficult time getting back to the hotel. The Hoover Dam & Grand Canyon were wonderful, but we would never use or recommend Tours4Fun in the future.

Our tour to the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam on Nov. 15, 2014: The trip was going well until our tour guide left one of the tourist behind at the Grand Canyon, even though he did a so-called head count. Fortunately, the lost tourist was found only because we stopped by the nearest town to have lunch. However, it does not excuse his actions and should have been professional if not considerate that the tourist was a foreigner. My second complaint about our tour guide was the lack information about Hoover Dam and his lack of historical significance of the site. As an American I am extremely bothered by the tour guide's lack of interest in our National Historical Sites. Lastly, our tour guide show minimum respect towards us by clapping his hands and ordered us to the bus on the way to the Grand Canyon on the first rest stop. TOURS4FUN Deluxe 8-day USA East Coast /Canada. My family of 3 just returned from this tour. I feel this is the most neutral place to add a review. The problem with this tour being that Tours4Fun commissions the local NY company and in this case it was Ritz Tours that sent the tour guide. You are either in luck or in very bad luck depending on which tour guide runs your tour. Whether you enjoy your tour or if it is a nightmare will all depend on the guide. We were one of the VERY FEW English speaking, our group was large 57, and predominantly Chinese nationals.

Our unfriendly, hostile and grumpy guide SIMON whom not once in the 8 days ever smiled and always seemed harassed, impatient and totally unapproachable. Either he had no customer interaction ability whatsoever or hated his job! From Day 1 we knew we were in for a tense visit when he first met us at the hotel, never bothered to even greet us by name or show some interest. Everything was brusque, methodical and oh so impatient. The only good thing about him was that he studied his facts and was able to impart knowledge both in Mandarin and English. Personality wise, he was unpleasant to deal with. Always stern and showing greater bias towards the Mandarin speaking nationals from China. God forbid if you happened to not hear something he was explaining in the bus and asked him again - he would yell at you (the way a teacher yells at a classroom of bad kids) and after humiliating you in public, he didn't even dignify your query with an answer!!

His manner towards us was like a pet owner and his dog. When he wanted to summon you, he clapped his hands wildly and furiously, no verbal acknowledgement, no address by name - just furious clapping - like a master calling his dog. When he dropped you somewhere, if you chose not to join the optional meal arrangements (for which I am sure the Tour Company gets a 'cut'/commission for bringing in customers), he would leave you in the sink hole to figure out where the hell to find a place to feed your family. It was only because I am so thick skinned I asked him all the time where we should find our food. If you didn't dare ask, you can go starve and spend minutes looking for food.

One time we witnessed him yelling at a foreign couple who asked him a simple question about 'what building is that' when we were in Washington. This outburst was witnessed and heard by many, I felt so angry that as paying tourists, he was allowed to treat them like dirt. My family then decided we would NEVER approach him for queries, instead we would ask the locals (Americans) around us if we needed information, or the rangers or anyone else! ANYONE ELSE except him. How bad is it when your tour guide is so intimidating and hostile that you don't even dare approach him if you have any query?

In the end he got his comeuppance. THE ONLY day we ever saw a tiny hint of smile (a tiny hint) was the last day when he came around collecting his total tip from each person per family per day for 8 days! That was the only time he ever smiled slightly. He didn't know what he was in for. My belief about tipping is this - you tip because you believe you have received good service which warrants a tip. NO COMPANY has the right to dictate to you a mandatory tip per person per day (in our case it was $7 X 3 = $21 per day) X 8 days if you feel service has been compromised. My family along with some others refused to pay him the full amount and we had our justifications for doing so, he did not deserve it. Some others endeavored to tell him straight out why they would not pay him the full amount. In the end I would hope he learnt his lesson, that it takes more than just spitting out facts to tourists without having the rapport to make yourself approachable.

There are too many other incidents during this tour to fill a book, and the guide was only the tip of the iceberg. I would advise all travellers going on this Tour Company to not be taken for ransom about paying the 'mandatory' tip amount should you feel service was not up to standards. As for myself, we will not consider travelling with this company again - in future, I will look at more expensive tours with a English speaking groups with tour guides who treat you like a valued customer, not a hindrance. I would never have signed up had I known the big group would be predominantly cliquish China nationals.

One pro about the tour: we were placed in generally acceptable hotels, although 1-2 were sub standard, majority were acceptable and met the bare minimum. At least there were minimal toiletries, spacious rooms for us 3, and hot water! Finally: someone should tell the bus driver to clean the windows everyday start of tour. By day 3, the outside screens were so filthy you couldn't see properly outside the glass, by Day 3 you could not take photos of passing scenery since the windows needed to be washed down.

I was unhappy with the overall experience. It’s not about the trip. I tried to cancel the trip but I was not able to cancel it, seeing that I had to fill up all the forms and that was in a location where I didn't have internet connection. But they said that I should fill up the cancellation form, without which I’m not getting my money back. So I didn't go for the tour but I ended up paying the entire money for the tour. It was almost $600 and I have been sending mails after mails. The first person told me, “Send me a mail and we can take it from there.” I sent a mail and they sent me a document saying that I didn't necessarily have to complete the documentation for canceling the tour. I clearly said that I do not have internet connection and I was not able to do it. In spite of that, they didn't give me any response on that. They didn't even hear what I was saying. It was an unusual situation, I met an accident and I couldn't make it to the tour. I was telling them I couldn't make it to the tour and nobody was ready to hear what I was even trying to say.

Me and my travel companions are so disappointed from the travel agency that is taking care of our tour. We booked 6 Days East Coast trip. The attitude of the tour guides it's just terrible and they are speaking mostly Chinese. We are students that came on an Exchange program "Work and Travel" in the US. That trip was the time we are supposed to have fun - it turned to a nightmare. Instead of having fun we have just hassle. We feel also discriminated because they are treating better the Chinese people than the Europeans. It's a Chinese company.

The tour guide said that they are native so they check in first in the hotel. It started the first day. We were picked from Chinatown. Terrible bus driver got lost couple of times and we were dropped off last in our hotel but it was closer than the other hotels. We booked a night tour to New York that was supposed to start at 7 p.m. We got in the hotel 7:30 p.m. They didn't wanted to give us any time at the hotel to rest and we traveled 13 hours before we got to New York, so we were tired. It was their mistake that we got late. I asked if I can stay in the Hotel and get my money back. They said they won't give me the $25 back for the night tour. So we went on that night tour.

It was supposed to be 3 hours but two of the hours were on the way to the hotel and back in the hotel. We had like 10 min to check on the Rockefeller Center and 10 min to check the Hudson River. The tour guide didn't allowed as to eat and drink in the bus and we didn't had any time to eat something when we were at the hotel. The English of the guide was so bad and he wasn't prepared. He actually didn't knew where are we going, his mic wasn't working so I didn't learned anything for the sightseeing that we visited. The tour guide name was Jessy.

On the way back the driver got lost again so we got 1:30 a.m at the Hotel and we were supposed to get up at 5 a.m. The departure was in 6 a.m. They don't want to wait even for 5 min. They said they'll leave everybody no matter what. But that rule doesn't apply for everybody. On the second the tour guide was Bella. We didn't wanted to visit The Intrepid Museum - that is an optional tour - but she said we are obligated. She said she already bought the tickets. When I said we aren't and we aren't going to do it, she said if we aren't going, we aren't allowed to get on the bus and she knows that our hotel is 42 miles far away from New York. You can imagine how the girls that are travelling with us felt.

That's not the kind of attitude that I expect when I'm going on an organized trip. The tickets for the Empire State building are $29. That's the price there and also what your website says but they charged $30. The AC in the BUS doesn't work and we spend more time in that bus than sightseeing and in the hotels. That Bella isn't also prepared for the sightseeings that we visit. For example today She said, "That's Lincoln Memorial. You have 40 min." That's it. Today she left two boys and two girls and they weren't late more than 5 min. So they have to take a cab to the next destination, but they didn't knew the address of the Hotel or anything else. We don't get informed about that.

After I saw what happened, I asked her about the address of the Hotel. She told me the name and she told me to google it to find the address. This is ridiculous. At the end there were a couple of Chinese guys that were more than 5 min late but she waited for them. This is discrimination. She also told us that we have to take at least the half of the remaining "optional" tours. We didn't had any joy in that trip so far just disappointments. And I was supposed to pay $48 to be treated like that. The least that we want is to be refunded for the guide and for that short night tour, the first night that was $25. We were brought for dinner only to Chinese restaurants in Chinatown.

One day Victoria Tour from Vancouver, Canada 8/31/2014. We made reservations for 9 people and were told to wait at the Chinese Culture Center in Vancouver Chinatown. We had a one-way ticket since we had reservations for a hotel in Victoria and from there to Seattle via the Clipper. According to the information received we were told that we could carry a suitcase and a carry on luggage (We just came from an Alaska Cruise). When the tour guide arrived with a small bus he refused to let us get into the bus because he said that tour did not allow any luggage in the bus. I had a copy of the E-ticket with the information about the luggage. He was surprised and acted like he did not know anything about the luggage. After a heated discussion we told him that we were calling the police for false advertising and we would not move. He called his boss and they sent us in a big bus and split our luggage among several small buses.

The guide asked for a tip of $8 US dollars for the additional work of handling the luggage in the buses and we paid him $72.00 for all the members in the party. We visited the Butchart Gardens and then the guide left the rest of the people in the bus in a restaurant for lunch and told our party that we had to go with him to downtown Victoria to meet the other buses with the luggage. He drove like a crazy person a high speed and saying that he did not know how to do it and be back to pick up the people at the restaurant. At the end, we were left in the middle of a parking lot in downtown Victoria with our luggage and no other indication of where to go. We were not offer any orientation about the downtown of Victoria like your brochure said. Our party included several senior citizens one of them over 84 years old. We believe that you have to review the information that the Vancouver office has about this tour because they do not want to honor the contract that you are selling in your website.

That time Mina was the tour guide and she was good. We liked her. This time the tour guides are very unfriendly. We didn't enjoy this at all. There were different groups, 15 groups, on the West Coast tour and they would make us wait in the bus for one hour for another group to finish. It was crazy. When we were doing the East Coast tour, they were supposed to take us to the White House, but we didn't even get close to the White House. My parents kept saying, "Have we been to the White House yet?" I kept saying no. The White House was miles away in the background and they just pointed to it. I talked to the tour guide and he was so upset with me. He said, "This is how we do our tour. Don't tell us what to do." This is the main focus when you go to DC, right? The White House! I was so sad. That might be my parents' last tour to the US because they're so old. From now on, I'm not going to go with them. Tours4Fun contracts someone to do the tour for them.

I was searching for a motor coach tour and Tours4Fun came up. The dates and amount of time available matched with the dates that we had available. We were already in Paris at the time and called the company before I booked because we were leaving the tour a day early. They told us to make a memo of that when making the purchase, and we went from there. I never received the e-ticket and it turned out it wasn't necessary, but we were able to finally get that when we were in Paris. It worked out fine.

The service was great. The sites that we saw, the places that we went to were very nice, but our tour guide was not. Our tour guide spent all of his time telling us how the Church was at fault for all of the world's problems, that if we got rid of all the teachers, we would solve all the educational needs. It didn't go over very well. I'm an ordained minister and my wife is a credentialed teacher. And then as soon as we got off the tour, he would point out five different things to do and disappear until the bus would pick us up...

I would never want to have the same tour guide again and we would only book future trips with Tours4Fun if we can find out who the tour guide is. Evidently Tours4Fun charters out with different agencies and those agencies use their own tour guide.

Several months before our vacation to Vancouver, BC, we purchased what we thought was a very good buy on the internet from Tours4Fun. At the time of booking and up to the time of our tour, we did not realize that Tours4Fun is simply a travel broker that sells tours much like Hotels.com sells rooms. The problem is that Tours4Fun does not rate or set any standards for the products or the companies that provide them. The biggest problem is that unlike hotel rooms, when you sell tours and packages that include transportation, it can be deadly and at the least can result in a waste of your time and or an awful experience.

Tours4Fun seems to sell a lot of tours from Super Vacation Canada, a Richmond, BC based company that dubs itself "the largest Chinese tour operator in North America". The very day of our tour (a Super Vacation Canada tour unknowingly purchased from Tours4Fun), a motor coach chartered from Western Bus Lines by Super Vacation Canada rolled over and crashed on the Coquihalla Highway south of Merritt, BC. All 56 passengers had some type of injury and required hospital care. So what does this have to do with my review? A lot. The day long tour we booked through the Tours4Fun website turned out to be a Super Vacation Canada tour.

Our day started very early as we were told to meet at the bus in front of the Chinese Cultural Center in Vancouver, BC. at 6:45 am. We boarded an older Prevost motor coach that appeared rather well maintained. The coach left our meeting place and we were told that we were to have two stops to pick up passengers who were on our tour and other tours. At the final pickup, we were told our tour group would transfer to another bus. As it turned out, the other bus was a smaller 24 passenger "mini" coach.

Of the twelve passengers in our group, 8 were English speaking and 4 spoke Chinese. We were never told in advance that we were purchasing a tour from a Chinese-owned Canadian company that caters primarily to Asian market. Our Asian driver spoke English as a second language, was very difficult to understand when he spoke English. In fact, to the point that it was so annoying that most of the English speaking passengers simply stopped trying to hear what he was saying.

It did not help that our driver held the microphone so close to his mouth when speaking that any large pothole could have resulted in the swallowing of the same.

Speaking of potholes, the short wheelbase "mini" coach rode so rough that my wife's back is still sore days later. I suspect that Super Vacations Canada does not have a very good maintenance program for their fleet. New shocks were certainly in order. Our tour was booked as eight hours from Vancouver to Victoria, BC and back. It did not take long to fall an hour behind. Of course no itinerary was supplied so we were never sure if we were on schedule or not. When I complained that the equipment was uncomfortable and the ride was unacceptable, the driver simply said nothing.

For $12.00 we could eat at a Chinese restaurant north of Victoria or there was an A&W across a busy 4-lane street. We selected the A&W and as it turned out, it was the right decision. Another couple from our group ate at the Chinese restaurant and said the food was not good and looked worse. They had photos to back it up. After lunch, our tour of Victoria consisted of our driver dropping us off in downtown Victoria for an hour of self tour.

At our last stop we were informed by the driver that he would be collecting the driver service fee of $8.00 per person before we boarded the ferry for the trip back to Vancouver. We were surprised to find this was written in the e-ticket we printed out and had to be paid in cash. This was the first time in 30 years of travel that we were held hostage for payment of a tip. When we told the driver of our displeasure of not only the shakedown for the tip but how awful the tour was, he said his company Super Vacation Canada sold cheap trips and you get what you pay for.

The crowning touch was the two Chinese passengers our driver picked up on the return ferry and announced he would drop at the Vancouver International Airport on our trip back to town. This unscheduled stop cost our group another 20 minutes on top of the hour we were already running late. In the end, our 8-hour tour lasted 13 hours. All but three and a half hours were spent in the bus or on the ferry.

The long and short of this is that we would will never purchase from Tours4Fun again and recommend that anyone that books a tour of more than a day never book online though a broker and only book from a reputable tour company such as Globus, Trafager, Caravan, Tauk. There are at least 10 or 15 tour companies with outstanding customer service and only operate or charter equipment from top rated motor coach operators. I would not include Super Vacation Canada to be among this group of trusted suppliers.

I'm not familiar with the Grand Canyon and I booked a helicopter tour and a jeep tour through them and because the name of the tour is North Rim Tours I thought that it would leave from the North Rim. When I realized that that wasn't the case that it was leaving from the South Rim I emailed twice. I didn't have phone service because there wasn't reception at the Grand Canyon, which I didn't know. So, I got a hold of the helicopter company and they gave me another number and I called and I left at least two messages. No one ever returned those calls because I realized you can't drive to the South Rim. It's too far.

In turn, I was trying to cancel it or at least get credit for part of my tour because we still wanted to do it at some point. That didn't happen so we lost $600. When I talked to the helicopter, the woman who ran that and the lodge we were staying at, they said that it happens a lot. I was really frustrated. No one would return my call and no one would answer the phone, even though in the email it said that they had somebody manning the phones 24 hours a day. I left a message and I even got the phone number from the helicopter agent. I would have liked to have talked to a person. Buyers beware, all great deals on Tours4Fun are not equal! Tours4 Fun subcontracts their trips. While one company may provide the services that were advertised, you might end up with the company we were unfortunate to get. Our trip From Hell would require too much space to describe in its entirety, so I will only give you the highlights. Apparently Itinerary is only suggested and can be changed without any regard to the passengers. We were looking forward to going to Niagara Falls on the first day and seeing the light show at night. This did NOT happen. Instead we went directly to Montreal. Our one and a half day stay in Montreal was the best part of the trip. Unfortunately we arrived there in a small shuttle bus that only sat 14 people. My legs were crammed up on the wheel-cover the entire trip. From there it was all downhill!

Our next stop was in Toronto. The Itinerary said we would only be there one night, but we stayed at the worst hotel we have ever been in for two nights. I have enclosed pictures to show the filth, mold, and rust in the room. Unfortunately, you can't see the awful smell from the heavy smoke in our non-smoking room. Prostitution is also legal in Toronto and we saw plenty of it at this hotel. Even the waitress in the coffee shop advised us to be careful since there was no security at the hotel and it was unsafe to leave anything in the rooms. Several calls and e-mails to Tours4Fun resulted in NO change even though we stated that we were fearful for our safety. To say that this is comparable to a Sheraton is a joke! When we questioned the driver, his comment was that the trip was cheap and if we wanted something better, we should have paid more! Tours4Fun sets the price and this is what they offered!

Our stay in Niagara Falls was all of three hours on the last day. No light show at night, no overnight stay, just a mad rush to see it all before our eight hour drive home in a shuttle bus with no bathroom. I won't describe the ride home except to say that the bus was stopped twice by the police for various traffic violations and passengers in the front said that the speed of the shuttle bus exceeded the speed limit to the point that we were all fearful for our safety.

I've gone to Europe for 20 times on our own but it's our first time taking a family tour to go to see a lot of places. And the only thing I liked is I can see a lot of places, but everything else is not good. We landed in the morning. The driver picked us up and he got lost and we were so hungry and we just wanted to go to the hotel, but the hotel won't check in till 3 o'clock. The hotel was terrible with no hot water. I even sent a complaint the first night in Paris.

The quality of the tour depends on the tour guide. In Paris we had a great tour guide. Then when we got to Italy, we had a lot of issues with the tour guide. But overall the bus tour was very good. The bus driver was very good... and safe. But it could be better on dining area -- not going to the same area. We stop at the freeway just to get 40 minutes, wait on the line to get our dinner, and then rushing out to the hotel at 7:30... it doesn't make sense...

I chose Tours4Fun because of the schedule and the location that we want to go. Should I go back again? Probably not. But we love it. We love all the locations we were able to see...

The good thing about the tour is that the inn that they choose is nice and clean. Plus the entire trip start and end time is correct. As correctly described by other guests, the tour is rushed in every aspect. Long line for the restroom but you have only 15 mins, restaurants stopped at being always fast food chains and Chinese buffets. I wish they would spend some time researching and tell us what other restaurants were around the same complex. However, the fact that they rush the sight-seeing, especially for this tour, is disheartening. The time spent in Yosemite was way too short. It was not even worth it.

The bus started to depart at 9:20 am, took a break at Casa De Fruita and Merced and stopped at the first Yosemite sight at 3:30 pm. We then spent only 15 mins each at El Capitan, Half Dome view (next to El Capitan but where you could see Half Dome from far away), and Tunnel View. We spent 45 mins at Yosemite Falls. All in all, only 1.5 hours was given to explore Yosemite. Then they drove for 2 hours to Park Inn in Fresno. We arrived at a Chinese buffet at 8:05 pm, jumped back on the bus at 8:55 pm and checked in at Park Inn and 9:15 pm. Yosemite has so many things to offer and spending 6 hours on a bus just to see it in 1.5 hours to me is totally not worth it. If I had known the detailed itinerary in advance, I wouldn't have purchased the tour.

I found out about Tours4Fun when I searched online and tried to look for some kind of good deal. I just booked that and made my payments right away and then I received a call from a representative asking me what’s my last name and stuff. I feel weird because when I fill up all those payment information, my name and stuff, there’s a section asking for last name so I was just curious why they still have to call me and to confirm.

Anyway, I got picked up from a certain location in Vegas in one of the hotels. After the pickup, we have to go to a tourist center and get all those brief descriptions about what’s going to be in the tour and stuff before we check in. When I checked in, the lady had some trouble looking up my booking. I showed the email confirmation to them and then the lady said she cannot find my booking. But within 5 to 10 minutes’ time, everything got solved. They found my record. But I feel weird because they have trouble finding my booking and I made my reservation a month ahead. But in general, the tour was fun. I just love it although it’s too hot there in Vegas. Everything went smoothly and everything is good. People were very friendly even at the tourist center. The driver was very nice, too. I highly recommend the South Rim Grand Canyon tour instead of the West Rim.

My parents went on a 10-day tour to the Yellowstone National Park. The online purchasing experience was good, fast and without problems but there were lots of problems when the tour started. First of all, my dad never knew that it’s a Chinese-conducted tour. So there was a language problem there. He knows English and of course, another mother tongue language but this tour, the guide was only talking in the Chinese language even when they requested him to talk in English so they had no idea what was going on. That was a major issue. Secondly, wherever the bus stops, they always pick Chinese restaurants and Chinese stuff, what Chinese people like rather than considering what the general mass would like. Those were two major things. And then the third one, there was a big issue on one day, on the 13th. They put another person in the bus and there was no seat available for that person. So what happened was the guide was just standing in the bus, sitting on the stairs throughout the journey. And suddenly, near some Walmart, the bus driver stopped and there was a big fight between the guide and the bus driver.

My parents and all the passengers were out of the bus for three and a half hours in the open sky, outside 100 degrees, just watching the driver and guide during the fight and they were just having some hard arguments. And then that day, they had a major problem. They had to do at least eight or nine hours of traveling on the road and because of this issue, they reached their hotel room at 11 in the night. So they couldn’t see anything else. And the Stratosphere that day on the Las Vegas tour bus route was so bad that my mom was severely in pain and my dad, rather than just enjoying the Stratosphere, was running for Walgreens and CVS to get her medications that definitely she can get them the next morning and start the travel again. And I was super angry and I couldn’t do anything. I’m sitting here and they are traveling. My mom, since the day she has been back from this tour, has been complaining about the backache. My mom said she would never ever go in any bus tours again.

Lastly and the most important thing is my parents paid almost $700 per person and they found out that other people paid $350 per person. So it’s almost half the price and still, they’re getting their best treatment because they are Chinese or something. After finding that, they were more annoyed. They’re like, “Wow! First of all, we are paying more and still we are not getting the things that we want.”

They are just visiting me from India and every time they come to the United States, they take one tour. This was the first time ever that they had a bad experience. It was really bad overall.

I was very satisfied with my online purchasing experience and the customer service team. Also my recent trip was fair and the location was wonderful. But I actually was not exactly pleased with our bus driver on Tours4Fun. We were extremely late getting back and there seemed to be delays at every single stop. When we were getting ready to make the final return trip from the canyon back to the hotel, there was a family that we had to wait for at the beginning of the day. It was very late and I certainly don't blame the bus driver for that; he has no control over them.

We were like two hours late getting back to our hotel. It made for a very, very long day. And it was 112 degrees out, we're all hot and tired and wanna get back home. The bus that we rode on was brand new and the driver kept reiterating the fact that he was just getting used to it because it was a brand new bus, and he just seemed to be obsessed about the screen and the microphone and things not working.

Once again, when we were finally ready to leave the Canyon and go home to the hotel, he's still messing around with the microphone. I said, 'Coach (he had said for everybody to call him Coach), can we get going now?' And he bit my head off; he was extremely rude to me. He said, 'Just a minute!' I said, 'Well, we're very late.' And he just gave me this look like he just wanted to punch me. He said, 'I have no control over when these people get back on this bus.' I said, 'Well, we're all here now.' And he said, 'We'll leave in a minute!'

I actually was going to send an online comment about this because it was like he had no control, like we would make some minor stops and he had no control about getting these people on the bus. In the morning, the one family, I think they were at least a half an hour late. Things happen but it's just to the point that we just gotta go. You can't make 60 other people wait for 2 people. And so, it just escalated all day long.

At the end of the day, it was obviously getting to everyone and I did not appreciate that at all. I don't know the entire detail of the party that was let out at the hotel ahead of us, but the essence of it was that when they were getting off, he had said to them something like, 'No tip?' And they said no, and he said, 'Fine, I'll just work for free then!' First of all, you shouldn't have to ask for a tip. My mom left a tip for the three of us; I would not. I would have not left him a penny.

I don't know what type of thing that they'd need to have it a little bit more organized as far as the actual stop at the Canyon because it's the one family, they went on a helicopter ride, and so we were sitting on the bus for over half an hour just waiting for them. I think we were at the Canyon for a total of three to three and a half hours.

We just came back from this trip yesterday, and want to give few heads up and share some experience. I don't know why there is only good review in this website; I guess they might screen it. But I will re-post it if they do so.

    1. The seat is small and it's very uncomfortable for tall people... and I'm not tall, just 5'10. And basically you will have to sit in the bus more or less 10 hours once you leave New York.

    2. Be ready to be stuck in the boarder when reenter US, it took us 4 hours to pass the boarder.

    3. This trip is not a good choice if you have young kids. Since you will need to wake up @ 5 am most of the trip days and expect to get to hotel after 10PM every day.

    4. Most of stop is full of bus and you have to line up for washroom. For men, it's ok, we do it quick. But for women, it's hard. Most of time, you have to wait at least 20 minutes to use the restroom, and 30 minutes in some cases. Most places they stop less than 1 hour to do the sightseeing. And image if you have young kids if you can put your kids back to diapers, that may help a bit.

    5. Because of insufficient time to use washroom, many people are forced to use the restroom on the bus. Be sure to ask your bus driver clean the restroom from day 1, if he is not willing to do so. Tell your tour guide you require changing to another bus. The whole group in our bus is suffering the smell of urine, only because the lazy driver refused to clean it. They outsource the bus and driver, so even the tour agency is not clear how the bus driver profession ethics is.

    6. Most of the meals are not included which I can't complain since it states very clear in the description. But you should know this: you can find something better very easy in walking distance. I'm not saying the food option they provide is bad; just that you can have more option for yourself.

    7. You will stay in different hotels every day, and most hotels are 3 star hotels. The only thing is AC is not central control, they have the AC unit by the window so, people sleep next to it may get freezing, or the other side of the room will feel too warm.

    8. And as most hotel in US and Canada, the breakfast is optional. However, since you will need to check out hotel 5 am, 5:30 or 6 you will not have time to eat anyway. You can wait to eat at the first stop or buy something the day before so you can eat on the bus.

Our tour guide Angie is very nice, friendly and willing to help and accommodate to your need. She is the only thing we like from this trip. Even we met some very nice people from around the world, but this will be our first time and last to join a bus tour in US, because we prefer our vacation more relaxing instead of running after the clock all the time, not even mention the filthy environment on the bus.

Originally purchased 5-day east coast tour of Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore Harbor and Washington DC. After arriving in Boston to begin tour, we were grouped with others as part of only a 4-day tour of New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore Harbor and Washington DC. It was only after returning to Boston at end of day four that our driver took the time and effort to get us to a hotel where we could join a Boston day tour the next day. This Boston day tour did not include a Boston harbor cruise that would have been available with the originally booked tour. Our driver/tour guide was friendly and knew the streets of each city very well, but his English still needs much work. Thankfully my wife and mother-in-law are Chinese, so at least they could understand everything that he said.

    Update 7/30/2014:

It turned out that our originally booked tour was actually a 4-day tour plus a day tour of Boston. As a result, our time in Boston was less than it would have been if it had been part of the 5-day tour. So we did not have opportunity for the Boston harbor cruise. Way too much of the tour time was spent just getting to Harvard and MIT campuses. Part of this was due to on-going construction; perhaps the daily itinerary could be changed to allow for this. The bus driver/tour guide spoke English very well, but his knowledge of American history was a little weak.

The bus driver/tour guide for the 4-day tour was friendly, helpful and knew the various routes very well. But his "bilingual" skills need improvement; specifically his English. However, my wife and mother-in-law are Chinese, so they were able to understand everything he said. For most stops on the tour, enough time is allowed for a basic "walk-through"; but you must keep moving. If you want to spend extended time at any location, will need to return on your own at another time. Even without any prolonged traffic jams along the way, need at least 9 hours on the bus between Boston and Washington DC or vice versa.

Something you should be weary of from Tours4Fun is that the website is very deceptive. Although it is affordable and the hotels are decent, the tour is Chinese operated and we were the only non-Chinese speaking people and nearly thought we'd been scammed due to a botched airport transfer.

Here's our story: Based on rave reviews on their website and the good price we booked our 7 Day Los Angeles - Las Vegas - San Francisco tour months in advance and sent through our arrival details. Arriving at Los Angeles LAX there was no one at arrivals to greet us, Tours4Fun's emergency number didn't work and we thought we'd been scammed. Eventually we got hold of the hotel and they helped us with a number. After 3 hours and walking through 4 Terminals at LAX we found a Tours4Fun representative, but they didn't speak any English!!! Only Chinese.

It turned out Tours 4 Fun is a Chinese Tour Operator. The tour is conducted 75% in Chinese and 25% in English (by 25% English I mean only logistics "Get back on the bus in 15 minutes"). Food stops are all Chinese Buffets and some of them are not clean at all (grime everywhere and filthy carpets).

Other than not being able to speak the language and the filthy carpets we enjoyed our tour and for that price it could be overlooked. So if you're willing to be your own tour guide, don't go on the tour to make any friends (purely because of the language barrier) and don't mind filthy kitchens (or scout for your own food places), you should be just fine.

I am very disappointed and would not recommend this tour to anyone. I did 3 day tour of Niagara Falls and Washington DC on July 7, 2014 with my wife and 3 elderly parents. When I booked this tour I got an itinerary that included Niagara Falls-Thousand Island-Washington DC. I clearly told them over phone that I will leave the tour on July 9 in Washington DC. They were okay about it. But when we started the tour after an hour we got to know that the bus was going to Washington DC first. I asked the tour guide (who was very rude and totally careless about the passengers) about it. He told me to call customer care. I spent more than 40 min over phone asking the customer care how can they change the tour plan without letting us know. They told me that I have got wrong itinerary from them. I had no option but to go ahead with their tour.

Tour guide spoke very little English. Restaurants that we stopped at were always Chinese buffets or fast food chains and tour was rushed and hardly saw anything. We ate late and got up early in morning. My father who is a diabetic suffered a lot throughout the tour because of this. There was no communication, no coordination between the driver and tour guide. At one point driver got in to argument with other guests and refused to take bus further. On day 3 we had to rent car by ourself and we came back to DC that’s just because they gave us wrong itinerary and did not tell us the tour plan in advance. Tour guide and customer care raised their voice on us all the time. We felt pressured all the time. I would not recommend this tour to anyone.

The booking process was smooth and easy. Email responses came quickly. Tour date May 2013.... I neglected to place a review last year!!!!

On the two day trip to Niagara Falls last year majority of the passengers were Indian and Chinese. My daughter and I were the only African-Americans. This was not an issue for me.

The tour guide was hellish... She treated the Indians with disdain and was very rude to them. She raised her umbrella to an elderly Indian couple who got 'lost' on Watkins Glen and did not arrive at the end in time. She screamed and had a fit and complained that they threw the schedule off.... All we had left was the Night View at the Falls. She demanded that they apologize to the other passengers.... The elderly gentleman refused to. She threatened to throw him off the bus.....

I was appalled by her behavior and I supported the gentleman when he refused and reprimanded her for being rude to him. I was incensed when a younger Indian guy encouraged the older guy to apologize.... I could not understand how he could be such a 'suck up'. The tour guide's focus was sticking to the schedule... She did not care if we had a good trip. She favored the Chinese people.... After all it was her own people..... However she was terribly rude to the Indians and she completely ignored my daughter and I.

If the tours were intended for Chinese/Oriental people only, then Tours4fun should let us know, so we spend our money elsewhere..... The bus driver was very pleasant and the bus was comfortable.... We had a movie on the trip back.

I left the tour with the impression that it was good but could have been great if we had a better tour guide. I put her behavior down to a bad personality..... However based on the reviews that I have read today i now wonder if it wasn't more than that. The bus driver was very pleasant and the bus was comfortable.... We had a movie on the trip back.

I saw Tours4Fun on the internet and it had good reviews. I checked it out and just went for it. Purchasing online was very easy. It was a great experience. The only problem is they don't have too much options. They have option on vegetarian whenever we get down but the tour guide should know where you get the vegetarian food. On the bus, they tell us there is a McDonald’s and Chinese buffet but not much else even though are other restaurants nearby. It would be nice if the guide knew so that we don’t waste time. They should make a list of all vegetarian restaurants so you don’t spend your time looking around and then having to eat your food really fast to be on time back at the bus. In your trip there are people coming from China also and they don't have knowledge of food, but since you give variety of food in Chinese they should also do the same for other options. There are people coming from India who are vegetarian and they don't have any options if you don't tell them. It's not that difficult. Since you are taking the same stops everywhere, you should have the list of the food items there. Tell the guide so they can tell the guests next time. Other than that everything was nice. Their Rewards4Fun program is also good.

I learned about Tours4Fun from Google and from my uncle that took it once. Purchasing online was pretty quick, and I didn't have any problems with it. I did Tours4Fun from New York to Boston. I had fun. They were on time and it was pretty good. We had two tour guides there - one English and one Spanish-speaking. They were really knowledgeable. I was really impressed by that. It was worth it for the price. I'd certainly book another trip with them.

We just completed 6 day East Coast tour covering New York, Boston, DC, and Niagara falls. I will not recommend this tour if you do not speak Chinese. In addition, there are other issues. The tour guide and operation had created too tight schedule without having sufficient time to enjoy the visit attractions. And, cost of attractions and service charge far exceeds the tour price you pay upfront to book the tour. Tips are fixed but you pay even if you do not like the service. They do not accommodate any special situation.

My family came from Korea to visit. I was searching for tours on Google and I found Tours4Fun. It was really great because we had so many people going. The other tours had higher price, but with Tours4Fun, all of us could go and enjoy because I could get tickets at lower price. We chose the Disneyland tickets. Disneyland was kind of far because we live in LA, but it was easy to find. The tickets we had were nothing different than other tickets that they’re selling in the actual Disneyland. We got to go in first; we didn’t have to wait for the line and that was great because there were a lot of people. We spent all our times in there. My family had a great time. It was very fun and we got to enjoy a lot of things.

I was googling for cheap prices on Disneyland tickets when I came across Tours4Fun. They were $20, maybe $25 cheaper per ticket and purchasing from them online was easy. We bought the two-day Park Hopper pass, Disneyland in California. So then we go to Disneyland and give the tickets. In the beginning, I was a little nervous because the tickets came in the mail and I wasn't sure because how can we save $20 and nobody else can save $20 per ticket? They were, “Can you come over here?”, and had us aside. They just needed to take our pictures for the tickets but it was fine. We had a great time.

We don’t go on a lot of vacations but I haven’t even really looked and seen what else Tours4Fun have for vacations. I called their customer service one time because one tour they had on the website said nothing was available. I talked to them about it and they said yeah, that tour wasn't available. They were professional, courteous, spoke well, explained why that tour wasn't available and everything was good. Overall, Tours4Fun has been easy to deal with.

The credit card was new and had only been used 3 more times with reputable merchants, e.g. GEICO, and Costco.

Product: 7-Day Bus Tour to Mt. Rushmore & Yellowstone from Las Vegas. I am very disappointed in the tour. We spend 7 stressful days riding in a cramped bus and were rushed everyday to hurry and go to the bathroom or eat. We had poor accommodations in several locations, ate very late each day and started out very early in the morning. The restaurants that we stopped at were always Chinese buffets or McDonalds. The majority of the passengers could not speak English so we were not able to make new acquaintances. The first day we did not get to have dinner until after we stopped for the day (after 8:00 p.m.) and then were told that we should walk across the street to a grocery store and buy ourselves a dinner and breakfast for the following morning because we would leave before 5:00 a.m. The tour guide spent more of the time talking Chinese and explaining things to them. I would not recommend this tour to anyone.

Being the only two non-Chinese on the tour, my husband and I were not informed of all that was going on. Could not use bathroom on bus even after 2-1/2 hours without a stop. Movies on bus was violent and toxic. Our complaint about that was ignored. We didn't know what to buy for a breakfast and lunch at a Chinese grocery in Chinatown. We were told motels didn't serve breakfast when in fact every one did. Motel while visiting Yellowstone was a 2 hour drive out of the park and then had to come back the next morning. NOT ONLY A WASTE OF MONEY - BUT A WASTE OF TIME! This review is for the Washington DC, Baltimore and Philadelphia Tour but it looks like all their other tours are also horrific based on other reviews. My advice? Catch the Megabus instead. It's cheaper and more humane. I go on tours regularly and am simply appalled by the standard and service Tours 4 Fun offered myself and my travel companions. We were looking to receive a complete refund due to the lack of professionalism and basic human services the tour company provided. After sending numerous complaint emails and requests for a refund, we received a $30 refund from the company, which equates to under $10 per person (note that each of us paid over $80 for the tour). I WOULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS IF I COULD.

Toilet breaks - we were told that we would be stopping regularly for a toilet break (every 1-2 hours). This did not happen and we had to wait up to 4 hours just to use the bathroom. The onboard toilet bus was locked and passengers could not use it. The bus windows were so tinted that we could hardly see outside!! The bus was extremely dark inside. The tours were conducted by bilingual speakers (Jennifer and Lynn) whose English was very poor and difficult to understand. The content of the little amount we could understand was often incorrect. We were only notified after payment that this tour would also be delivered in Chinese. If we had known this prior, I doubt we would have signed up to this. The bus had holes where cool air traveled from outside. These holes were attempted to be covered by napkins. My window was completely covered in salt damp (which could not be removed as this was in between two windows) and therefore my view was impacted - I could not see out my window. There were bugs in the bus. The bus was not clean. We felt pressured by the tour operators to join the additional tours (e.g. Washington DC cruise and the Fort in Baltimore).

On 3 January 2014, we participated in the Tours4Fun travel van to Woodberry commons premium outlets. The van transporting all of us was hosted by "Eastern Bus Services". The original pick up time was suppose to be at 9 AM. However, since there was a recent winter storm, I called the company to see if the trip was still going as planed. When the operator answered the phone, he said, "I don't know, call me back in 10 minutes." I called back 10 minutes later. (I don't know why they felt it was MY responsibility to find out if the planned shifted. I feel they should have tried to contact me and others.) He said it has shifted 1 hour and the new pick-up time was 10am. The driver arrived at 10:05 AM with this old bus.

Inside the bus there is this sticker that we have to give $3 tips to the driver and it's mandatory! I never knew tips is mandatory, especially with the worst service I have ever experienced. The weather was very cold and to make the experience worst, the heater was not operating even after repeated attempts to inform the driver that ICE was forming on the windows. I called the company and then they too talked to the driver, I assume in an attempt to get the heater working. The drive there encompassed about a 1.5 - 2hr drive in a freezing cold vehicle. The driver of the vehicle did not have a reasonable command of the English language; however, if you spoke Mandarin communication would likely have been more successful. There are zero communication from the driver to passengers. In the middle of the road, suddenly the bus stopped and we had to change VEHICLE(!!!) with no explanation whatsoever and the vehicle still has no heater. No coordination, no communication, no discount book. Nothing in this tour was considered good at all.

After returning to Manhattan, the driver would not drop us off at the original pick-up point. After calling the company, they too said that it can't be done because it is a one-way street. Although true, we could have circled a block before to get around a one-way road intersection. What makes this worse is there are several persons from other countries which did not speak Mandarin and did not understand English very well. It took me to actually explain to them that the driver and then the company REFUSED to drop us off at the same place in which they picked up us up at. Next time, I will use a different company or rent my own vehicle, depending on the amount of people... It just might be cheaper and will definitely have less of a headache. I will never recommend this company to anyone I know, even if I hated them.

I took an escorted tour from Tours4Fun to Canada. The cost was approximately $300 for an escorted bus tour including hotels. We had to pay additionally for attraction tickets which totaled $218 plus a tip of $7 a day for guide ($28). The advertisement said the hotels were comparable to Holiday Inns which they were not. Two out of the three hotels were dumps (dirty and filthy). Two were in the middle of industrial areas and there was no where to go at night. You could not leave the tour as the bus was always moving and the hotels were not booked until that evening. It was like being held hostage. The ad said the bus had a bathroom. We were not allowed to use it as they kept it locked, and we were on the bus a minimum of seven hours a day.

The tour escort was not knowledgeable about the places visited. We were only at each place 60-90 minutes which was not enough time to see anything. It was a ripoff to have to buy tickets to these attractions. At night we were always dropped off in the local ChinaTown to eat. We could not go far as we had 75-90 minutes to be back on the bus. Every time we were dropped off we heard that bus could not park here and be sure you are back on time. Two days in a row we had to be up and on the bus very early. Saturday at 5:30 am (on bus) and Sunday at 6:00 am. That was not mentioned in ad at all. I do not have a good head for distances and did not realize everything was so far away.

According to the cancellation policy of the company, it will be 10% reservation fee charged if one cancels the trip 32 days or more in my case. When I booked my trip, there was no such thing as RESERVATION FEE option provided. It tells you how much it will cost for your trip, and pay the whole cost on online if you want to confirm the booking. As soon as I found the problem, I cancelled it immediately and called the company, but there was no one to answer the call (sure it was still office hour at Pacific Time at 5:30 pm during the week).

Since I can't get anyone answer the call, I sent a cancellation email to the company after that in the same evening. When I got hold of someone in the office the next morning, Ribby, the girl who answered the phone told me that it will be 10% deduction for the total amount I paid on my credit card, but I told her that there was NO such thing as reservation fee in the company's booking system. She sounded not helpful at all and kept repeating the same words. I feel that the company has no intention to improve its booking system and the staff needs more training on how to deal with its customers. I have talked to the manager Eric. He is a little better in communication skill, but he insisted that there is nothing wrong with the online booking system and there will be the same NO clarification on its RESERVATION OPTION set up - please be aware that the COST OF RESERVATION IS THE SAME AS THE TOTAL COST OF THE TRIP (included is the optional fee like meal plan) when you make booking with the company and if there is problem, don't expect any help at all!

We went to 2 days trip to Niagara with this company, and this was one the most horrible tours we ever went to. Don't waste your money or your time with these people, All you get out of their tours is stress. They don't tell you the itinerary or schedule until the very last minute, so we basically never knew what was going on. The tour guide we had - Kai- seemed nice in the beginning, but then turned out to be unbelievably rude. The trip included the boat ride on Thousand Islands. On the way there, Kai told everyone about a package for $94 that includes all the tickets to attractions, including the Thousand Islands boat, Niagara Falls Maid of the Mist, movie, some show and shuttle bus.

We didn't want the movie and the show and asked him if we could get all the tickets we wanted (Thousand Islands boat and Maid of the Mist) ourselves, instead of buying the package with him. He assured us that we could. There were tourists from Spain and Italy with us on the bus, that we became friendly with. When we got to the Thousand Islands, the European tourists and us went to the ticket booth to get our own tickets to the boat. We were denied the tickets, and were informed that the boat was for group tours only, for the people coming with the buses and only tour guide could get tickets for us. We rushed to the tour guide and asked to get the tickets for us. He agreed with unhappy face. We followed him to the ticket booth (he collected $20 per person), and he got very nervous because we went with him, and started to yell that he cannot get tickets to the boats for us, since we were following him.

We were completely shocked as he got on the boat and left with the rest of the group, while 12 of us were left on the shore. He just took off, leaving us speechless. According to him, we could buy our own tickets, and that was a lie. The tickets we could buy were for the 2.5 hrs regular tours they had, while the tour our group went to was only 1 hour long so we would have missed the bus. Now I regret we didn't take that tour. It was probably better for us to miss the bus and just stay there on our own, than to continue our journey with these terrible people.

We arrived to Niagara around 10:30, and were offered to take the falls night view tour for additional $25. The hotel we stayed in was very far from the falls, so the charge of $25 was for the shuttle. We rushed to the Falls, because the guide told us the lights go off in the park by 12, so we have to hurry. The shuttle bus was a mini van, so we had to split into 2 groups. Only one mini van showed up, so the other group ended up waiting outside the hotel for an hour for nothing and then just go back to their rooms. Next day, we rushed through the park by the Falls, and then to the boat. Kai wanted everybody to stay together as a group and was very worried if you did a step to the side from the group. It felt like a school field trip with Kai as a teacher. It was ridiculous. Plus, the fees for everything except the bus round trip and the hotel. Also they were late all the time from the beginning of the trip. If they said we were leaving at 11, we would leave at 11:20 the earliest. Will never buy any tours from them again, and recommend everybody to stay away from Tour4fun. It was not fun at all.

When I was claiming about this, they said that the tour guide told them that we stay in Yosemite for 1.5 hours. He was lying. I told the customer service that they should ask other travelers too, because the tour guide was lying. Also for the tour of the Grand Canyon is the biggest fraud that I ever experienced. They DON'T TELL YOU ON THE WEB SITE BEFORE YOU BOOKED THE TRIP, that if you go to the South Rim and if you don't pay extra $170.00 for helicopter ride, you would NOT SEE THE GRAND CANYON. The tour guide tells you that in the bus, one day before visit of the Grand Canyon. And they're constantly telling you that the tour guide inform you about the visit of Grand Canyon, but I told them that I don't need those information in the bus, I need them before I pay for my trip. They don't care. And when I ask for my money back they just ignore me.

I booked for my relatives the 3 days 2 nights tour to Niagara Falls and D.C. The tour guide Katie charged each one of them 92.5. The ticket for Maid of the Mist was only $15, but she charged them $25. When I argued with her, she said the fee included transportation bus and shuttles and parking for two attractions (Watkins and Power Vista). Yet my relatives were on the same bus and never took any shuttles. Since the trip was to Niagara Falls, the fee paid for the trip already included such transportation bus and hotel. The attractions was free without ticket. The web said the admissions to attractions was optional, but Katie collected the money for she knew the sightseers were from foreign country or other states and travelers usually did not know the attractions were free. She lied to the travelers. Also the web said if there was any extra expense to be considered, it was the tip to the tour guide and suggested $7 for each person. Katie collected $8 from each person. 3 days she collected from each person, $24. So, $92.5 minus the ticket $15 for Maid of the Mist, and tips $24, Katie forced each to give her extra $53.5. My 3 relatives was deceived by Katie $53.5 x 3 = $160.5.

Where could we get the money back? This is my first time to book tour through Tours4fun and the miserable is that after my relatives came back from Niagara Falls they are going to 2 days one night trip to Boston with Tours4fun after rest for two days, and it is too late to cancel and get the money back. I require authority concerned to investigate the case and suspend Katie's license as a tour guide, if she has one. When I argued the second night with Katie through phone text msg, Katie insisted she did not over collect the money. She gave false info the first day by telling them to visit three attractions and collect all the money. Some did not want to go, and the bus drop them off far before they arrived the attractions. However the 3 attractions such as Power Vista is free of admissions. Katie collected money once the first day on the bus and made the travelers thought those attractions needs admission tickets. Also the attractions were not listed on the Tours4fun web, and thus the overcharge fee $160.5 for my three relatives should be refunded by Tours4fun.

Our Chinese tour guide was Ian who doesn't speak English very well. We booked as one Filipino group. He doesn't update us on the daily itinerary or where we're at or how long to get to our destination until we told him to do so. When we asked him he would refer us to the itinerary emailed by Tours4fun. At the start of the trip he told us not to use the bathroom - that if it is an emergency we have to let him know 15 minutes in advance - how can you do that if you get diarrhea after eating at a Chinese buffet which happened to several of us on our first day in Vegas. I agree with the other review that something can be done with the odor. They're just lazy to clean up - that's part of their job.

Now with the driver - he is very unfriendly and won't even say good morning or hi. He seems to be very unhappy and should not be in this business. He should join the ice truckers to Alaska. We are almost all retired and senior citizens. He won't help us with our luggage in the morning instead he is already seated on the bus - his name is Ted **. When I asked what his name is, he just pointed to his shirt and said nothing. How rude of him, he doesn't deserve our service fees. They should change this rule that service fees are mandatory - that's why they don't have any incentive to improve their service - they'll get their money anyway.

Also, while at Grand Teton instead of volunteering to take our group picture, they stayed with the group and 2 of our friends had to do it, even after calling Ian to take our picture. With Lassen Tour, the driver and the tour guide would line up all the cameras and take our pictures and not be with the group till you invite them to join - they have manners. One of our friends even took the responsibility of the daily seat rotation and Ian got the nerve to get mad at her after a slight confusion on our last day - how ungrateful.

I could compare C&J Express/Sea Gull Holiday with Lassen Tour and GotoBus, they are the exact opposite - very courteous drivers and tour guides - that at the end of the tour they become your friends, not with Sea Gull. We all can't wait to write reviews. I'm sure you will be hearing from the rest of the group. If ever we'll join a tour again in the future, don't assign it to Sea Gull Holiday, we'll cancel out. Hope you can relay my frustration to Sea Gull management down to Ian and that unhappy Ted **.

Canada/East coast tour: In the fist hour of the tour, Frank (his nick is Kung Fu Panda), the Chinese Tour Guide, would collect the lump sum fees in CASH only ($241/Adult & $160/Kid with the exclusion of "Niagara Falls by Night", which he decided to skip) for the Optional Attraction/Excursion Tickets, without the introduction of any Attractions/Excursions. So, we just blindly gave the money without having a chance to ask how much each of the Optional Attraction/Excursion cost, or to choose what Attractions to go or not to go (like any other tours), or what made up the $241/Adult and $160/Kid... Then during the tour, if you decide not to go or unable to go to some those Attractions/Excursions then he would not refund the money.

On top of all this, the current exchange rate is $1USD = $1.05CAD but he made us exchange $1USD to $0.95CAD. That translates into another at least 10% lost on exchange USD/CAD. During the tour, if you were lost and calling his cellphone, he would not pickup the phone (even when the bus driver called him to tell him the pickup location, he did not pick up the phone and we ended up walking on the heavy rain to the bus. We all got very wet...). You had to figure out how to go back to the tour bus yourself. That was how dishonest, how rude, how bad he was on our tour. But at the end of the tour, he still collected his mandatory tip of $7*4days/person = $28/person.

The tour was supposed to start on Saturday morning at 8.00 am. We were told to be there latest by 7.40am. So we rushed and took a cab from Penn Station just to stand there an hour in the rain, waiting for the bus to come. It kept going on like this. Whenever we were supposed to be somewhere at a certain time, we were at least 20 minutes late, pretty annoying after a while. When we finally arrived at our destination, with at least 2 hours unnecessary delays, we had little time to take the boots trip and grab some food for dinner. After we were back in place where we were supposed to meet, we couldn't find anyone. We kept calling the tour guides just to become an unhelpful answer.

After almost 20 minutes after wandering around, we finally caught up with them, just to see that at least 70% of the group was still missing. After at least one hour of waiting (again), the tour guide decided to call the bus driver now to come, just too bad that he was stuck in traffic after they let him wait for so long. So that took at least another 30 minutes until we were finally in the bus, but still waiting for other people. Our hotel was at least an hour away. The excuse was that there wouldn't be any other hotels close by. We passed at least 20. We arrived at the hotel around 12:30 and were supposed to be up by 7 am again. The hotel itself was just disgusting. They admitted that they just booked it the day before and that they totally forgot that it is the Memorial Day weekend and everything else was booked already.

The hotel was under construction. The hallway on the first floor had molds. The rooms were dirty. The ceiling had several water stains and so on. We were promised to be in an inn compared to a certain standard. We even looked it up in the internet before. I don't care what kind of weekend it was. If I take the same tour like other people and pay the same price, then I deserve the same standard or at least something where you don't have to be afraid to get bed bugs. The tour continued, with a little delay in the morning, of course. When we were supposed to head home, the most ridiculous thing happened. Everybody was on the bus in time, ready to go, besides one family. We waited over an hour and 30 minutes for them to arrive.

I still don't understand for what reason somebody would wait that long for some grown up. It wasn't a school field trip. We are not responsible for them. But the tour guides were responsible to make sure that the people who were on time will be back at the promised time. Because of that, I missed two trains, had to pay another cab and was home by 12, when I was supposed to be home by 10pm. This whole trip took away all the awesomeness of the Niagara Falls itself and I'm very disappointed that a thing that's supposed to be so great is now always connected with that horrible trip.

This company appears to also be Tours For Fun. If not legally related, they are clearly cooperative. If you go on a tour with this company, you will do what the group does and it almost definitely will not be what is advertised on the website. I accept this is largely due to crowd control reasons. It's not the company's fault that one family overslept one morning, causing our entire day in NYC to be derailed. What you do will be optional, but be impractical to do anything else. Each event will be under 45 minutes, including major landmarks like the Smithsonian.

There are others who have said there are hidden costs to the tours. I'd like to second them, but also point out that they are on the website, just hidden at the bottom of the second tab after several inches of small text. It took someone from the company showing me over the phone before I could find it, but it's there. They also appear to either filter or add fake reviews to their website - the level of gushing compliments does not match what I've read on message boards (after taking the trip).

I am by no means a close-minded person, but it's always best to go on tours with people who enjoy the same things you do. If you book a tour with this company, be sure you enjoy visiting the Chinatown of every city you visit; eat dinner family-style at almost predominantly Chinese restaurants; and massive amounts of shopping at high-end outlets. One pleasant part of the trip was the ease of navigating Times Square on New Year's Eve. It's great to have a local show you the ropes and get you home safely afterwards.

My expenses, based on double occupancy, were: Ticket price: $829; Coupon found online: ($50); Additional expenses (including food, attractions and ~$25 to use NYC public transportation): $734.96; Bus ticket to get to/from tour location: $39.99. (Keep in mind that my boyfriend and I are college students on a tight budget. Food was not for lobster, etc. but for McDonald's and Quiznos in a lot of cases) - Total: $1,603.95

If you do all the tours mentioned, this could easily be $100-$200 more. Bottom line, you don't get what you pay for and it would just be nice to know the price tag upfront.

Tours4fun is a big con tour agency. They outsource most of their tours to a Chinese tour company called Seagull Tours, which is an even bigger con agency. I recently took a tour of LA, Las Vegas and Grand Canyon with a group of 10 people. Each paid around 600 dollars for the 6-day tour, excluding the flight ticket and meals. When we booked the tour, we were told that there was complimentary breakfast. But when we reached the hotel, we were told that we needed to pay for breakfast. The tour group was mostly Chinese and so was the tour guide with a heavy accent. First day accommodation was provided at Howard Johnson Fullerton, which was a filthy hotel. The rooms were dark and damp and dirty. We ended up changing our room twice. Next day we were taken to Disneyworld with a Chinese tour guide, who was reluctant to explain anything in English.

The following day we were asked to be ready to leave for Las Vegas at 7 in the morning, which we did. However, the bus, which was taking us to Vegas had several pick ups scheduled in various parts of LA and it took us 3 hours before we left LA. By the time we reached Vegas, it was 5 in evening. The drive, which otherwise takes 5-6 hours, took nearly 10 hours. The Stratosphere Hotel where we had our stay was average. Our tour included a trip to south rim of Grand Canyon, but the tour guide forced us to pay 300 dollars per person to visit the west rim. He kept convincing us of south rim being far from Vegas. Why was it not told to us while booking the tour? The tour guide kept threatening all the time that if someone didn’t reach the bus before the deadline, the bus would leave.

Finally, he forced a lunch buffet on us and asked us to pay 11 dollars where the actual buffet cost just 9 dollars. He also convinced that the buffet would be multi-cuisine but actually it was tasteless Chinese food, which tasted stale. The meat in most of the preparation was raw. When we complained about the quality of the food, the guide behaved as if it was not his business. We were coned of our money and got ill treated at several occasions. I will never ever book a tour again with Tours4Fun or Seagull Travels.

Tours4Fun 7 Days East Coast: US with Airport Transfers (2 Nights in New York and D.C.). Our tour date was 9/12 to 9/18 (7 days) and our tour guide is Linda. The good parts are the hotels booked were nice and comfortable, and time management was good. The main problems faced were the optional attractions were enforced as mandatory. We felt cheated that we were not told that a lot of attractions were optional. Our guide did not inform us clearly that these were optional attractions. In fact on day 1, she even lied that these were mandatory. The truth came out only during mid-trip, when we started off from Washington to Niagara, and she started to collect the money for the attractions.

Optional dinner was forced as mandatory. We were cheated onto believing that the dinner arranged for us was mandatory. This happened 3 times during the trip. Each time we were taken to Chinese restaurants. We felt uncomfortable eating on a shared table with other members of our trip. We felt the food was mediocre too. The third was bad English. The guide’s English was very bad and this ruined most part of our trip. We felt a little out of place, given that the majority of tourists were Chinese and we were not.

The actual tour bus company that took me on this 8-Day Yellowstone National Park, Mt.Rushmore, Grand Canyon West Tour was C&J/Seagull Holiday. Let me just say, it was not what I expected. Although we visited many sights, we were rushed at everything. They will not let you use the restroom on the bus, but make restroom stops about every 2 hours. This may sound reasonable; however, know you will not be the only tour bus making these stops so there will be a huge line, and you will be timed. If you are late to the bus, they will make a big deal about it. Things would be easier and smoother if they would just allow people to use the restroom on the bus. There are ways of dealing with odor, and they can empty waste daily (they just choose not to). All stops/breaks are timed, with the least/minimal time allowed.

Restroom breaks: Everyone from the back of the bus will rush to the front of the bus because they have had to hold their bowel movements for so long. There will be a long line to use the restroom. You will be given minimal time to release yourself and cannot peacefully do your business. Meal breaks: these are usually split for using the restroom and eating (30 minutes to 1 hour max which may sound reasonable, but not when you're fighting with a large group of people including other busloads of people who are trying to do the same thing). You are told to not wait until the last 15-20 minutes to use the restroom because there will be a line. However, when you eat, you tend to drink. Even if you used the restroom first, you will most likely need to use it again around the time you'll be leaving to get back on the bus (but you will have to wait another 2 hours to release yourself).

My diet and water intake seriously lacked the entire trip. If you are not a snacker or fast eater (both of which I am not), you will lose about 5 pounds from this trip. A few times, we were told to provide our own breakfast/dinner via groceries. Two nights in a row, we were to get our own dinner/breakfast by walking in the freezing cold (17 degree weather) to stores that were not as close as they made it sound (tour guide said walking distance, the rest of us say it's more like taxi distance). Sightseeing: Again, your allocated time will most likely be split using the restroom and taking pictures. You will be extremely rushed to the point where you cannot fully enjoy the scenery (some stops will require some walking time to get to the desirable spot). Once you get to the spot you' like to get pictures of, there will be a mass group of people trying to take pictures also. As you're struggling to get in a picture, you also have to be aware of the time you need to walk back to the bus. You will be rushed, rushed, rushed.

Grand Canyon: Do not, I repeat, do not do the helicopter/boat portion of this. It's about $200 a person, and absolutely not worth it. I would have rather gambled with that $200 (and I'm not even a gambler). You will be rushed onto the helicopter, which will fly you down the canyon (it doesn't fly over much of the canyon, it's merely a transportation vehicle to bring you down the canyon). When you get down the canyon, you will again be rushed onto the boat. The boat will move into the middle of the river (which isn't a significant distance, probably the equivalent of 1 block or not even). The boat driver will take turns taking pictures of your party and the other parties on the boat.

You will spend about 15 minutes on the boat, then you will be rushed back onto the helicopter. You can find a better experience down the canyon for that price on your own, I'm sure. This was a huge waste of money and time in my opinion. Huge. You will get a meal voucher with your entrance to the Grand Canyon. My advice, use this meal voucher at Guano Point, not Skywalk/Eagle Point. At Guano Point, you will get some yummy BBQ and will be eating outside near the edge of the canyon (great view!).

Extra fees on the bus: There are extra fees collected on the bus which are for the national park entrance, and Grand Canyon entrance (this is mentioned in the exclusions portion when purchasing your ticket). However, there is one more fee that they do not tell you about. That fee is what they call a service fee. This fee pretty much goes to the direct hands of the bus driver and tour guide. It was $56/person, so in total, they collected over $3,000 which is split in half for the bus driver and tour guide (at least $1500 each). We pretty much paid their salary with that fee. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is not good business practice. How are you going to charge a $56 service fee that was not even in the exclusions portion at time of purchase? Why are we paying their salary for them on top of what we paid for the tickets? My opinion, these companies are taking advantage of tourists who don't understand where their money is really going.

Hotels: This is the one thing that was decent. The beds were really comfy. However, I heard that our group's hotel accommodations were better than other groups. So, I suppose it just depends on your luck with which group you belong to. I spoke to some exchange students on a different bus (still C&J/Seagull Holiday), and they mentioned similar issues as I mentioned in this review. It was very hard for them to enjoy their trip. The people who I was able to communicate with on my bus had the same issues too. This trip was not relaxing or fun. I would not recommend this trip to anyone who is looking to have fun. If you just want to see with your own eyes (and don't care for enjoying yourself) before you die, you could probably do this tour.

Otherwise, I would recommend you just fork over a bit more money and do your own personal trip to enjoy yourself and the scenery. I'm not sure how the other tours that Tours 4 Fun provides are like (I'm assuming different tour bus companies provide different experiences), but based on this tour itself, it's not Tours 4 Fun. It's more like "Rushed Tours 4 No Fun."

I returned from a two-day trip on Saturday, 8/18, from NYC-Philly, Baltimore, and DC. We were not allowed to use the restroom on the bus as the tour guide claimed it would smell, so why is there a bowl on the bus?! Overall, the trip went well, but the rudeness and lack of respect of the Chinese for our country is appalling. I have been to China eight times before and was aware of the manner they prefer to make their own rules and want everyone else to adhere to that! The tour guide, Scott, was excellent even though his English was not the best and the driver did a great job also. I wrote a review very similar on the Tours4fun website and to my surprise, they never posted it! I had suggested that they try having an American guide that is bilingual in Chinese and English and see if things would be different, but no response at all.

I must commend Scott as he did leave two women and their kids at the Air and Space Museum in Baltimore as they were late in returning to the bus and it took time away from the rest of us for our next journey that was a boat ride on the Potomac. Scott did call them and left them a message where to meet us and they did finally appear, but the Boat Tour said tough luck as they were late and they are also on a schedule and left without them, and instead of one hour we only had 45 minutes. Then having a very inconsiderate person and his girlfriend taking turns to put their knees in the back of my seat during the entire trip was not very comfy for me, but I did explode and the guide spoke with them in Chinese and they stopped it. I know if I had done the same thing in China, I would have regretted it as it showed the lack of respect to us Americans. For what we paid, it was well worth it but I wasn't fond of being extorted to pay a mandatory daily charge for the guide and driver. The hotel we stayed in was stunning and it actually surprised me.

It's should be Tours4Upset not Tours4Fun. My complaint is about tour # 2-110 (3 days: Solvang - Hearst Castle - San Francisco - Stanford - Yosemite). This is our first tour with Tours4Fun Company and we had a very bad experience, from the beginning of the tour to the end of the tour.

Our 1st bad experience was when the bus broke down while we were in Solvang town. Because of this, our trip to Hearst Castle had to be cancelled. We had an old, filthy bus without permission to use to restroom the whole 3 days while we're on the bus and it's a tour with 8 to 9 hours’ drive. Our 2nd bad experience was when Tours4Fun stated on their website that we'd be provided a bus for our tour with restroom, TV and etc. This was not true. It's such a big hassle when the bus driver didn't allow any of the customers (including seniors and children) to use the restroom because they said the bus would smell very bad for the whole trip. The bus driver even locked the restroom, so none of us could use the restroom. I think Tours4Fun Company should warn the customers before they book their trip about using the restroom on the bus.

Our 3rd bad experience was when their tour guide (Austin) didn't warn the customers to be on time at first. As a result, we were behind the tour plan (because 2 customers showed up at the bus at 7am, instead of 6am). If I was the tour guide, I'd leave those 2 customers behind, and call the main office to report the incident without interrupting other people's time. Everyone was very upset about this! Again, we had to wait for another 1/2 hour when 2 other customers showed up late again while we went to Stanford University.

We'd expect to spend time at least 1 hour for each place. But we got to spend only 15 minutes in Palace of the Art, 20 minutes in Stanford (no wonder the 2 customers were late, because they tried to find the restroom.), 1/2 hour in Lombard St. It took us 15 minutes to walk to Lombard Street, less than 5 minutes for picture taking, and another 10 minutes to walk back to the bus. The tour guide told us that we would not have time to spend in China Town, so it was up to us to decide whether to spend $25 each person to join SF City tour with them or to wait 4 hours in the City Hall by ourselves for them get back to pick us up after the city tour with other customers. The tour guide should have asked the customers first, which tour we want to go (China Town or City Tour)! Instead, the tour guide decided for us.

Our 4th bad experience was after the 2nd day tour in SF. We headed to Clarion Hotel. This was the worst hotel I've seen in my life. There were blood, stains on the bed sheet and the pillows. There were ants on the bed sheet and table. The air condition smelled really bad when we first turned it on. When I told other travelers about my room, they said they experienced the same things. Our 5th and 6th bad experience was when the tour guide took off before the customers. Every tour guide is supposed to leave after the customers, after the bus is empty! He wrote down the customers’ drop off location lists; gave it to the bus driver named George (the one that locked up the restroom) and took off without telling anyone. It's required everyone to tip the tour guide and the bus driver, $6 per day x 3 days = $18 per person per tour. Such a bad service, none of them deserved that. You should read its policy first before booking for any tour. I suggest that you should only tip them when you're at your drop off location. Don't let them take your money first. This is a very bad experience that our group of 5 and other people have with Tours4Fun.

I have a group of 30 people for a Napa/Lake Tahoe tour. Before I paid, I called them up and they had responded to me by email that they have a bus that can accommodate the whole group which was really very nice of them. I made the payment and they emailed me back that they appreciate the prompt attention. A week after, they emailed me again and said that the tour is not available anymore because the extra bus that they added for our group was actually given to another group in which they had received the payment earlier.

So I called them up and they explained that it was a first come, first serve basis and that they paid first so they got the seats. These customer service people are very rude and they don't seem to understand that they had confirmed us for the extra bus but they gave away our reservation to someone else. I have all their email correspondence and I gave my phone numbers, both the landline and cell. If they have some concerns about their customers, they could've called and informed me about the situation. But they just don't care. They waited for days before emailing and informing me that the reservation is cancelled.

I have just returned from over 3 weeks of holidays in US. I have purchased 2 tours from Tours4fun over the internet. The experience was very poor and while I do not expect any compensation, I would like to warn other future travelers about the problems they may encounter.

There was no information whatsoever that the tours are bilingual. We only got it in small print once we have purchased the tours but not before. All 4 guides we had to deal with spoke badly broken English. With their poor grammar and bad pronunciation it was impossible to understand them on many occasions. When we were leaving the bus, quite often English speaking people had to ask the guide again what are we doing. Over 10 English speakers I talked to had the same problem. Quite often, we could not even decipher the names of places and attractions until we actually got to them and could read it somewhere. For example, Wall Street became "Washie". There was a guide that spoke perfect English but he was never on our bus, all 4 guides we had, were simply bad. They could have been great in Chinese, which was another language offered, but they should never guide tours in English.

Our buses were fitted with 60 seats and many people had to touch the seat in front of them, as there was simply no room left. They had very poor air conditioning. I have taken fast pace tours before but the tour, which 30% of the time forces you to wake up at 4:15 am, is just too much. On both tours we had to spend over 10 hours on a bus on multiple days. One tour that started in Las Vegas was delayed for 1.5 hours with no information or apologies. Imagine people waiting and wandering what is going on and if they missed the time or place. The only good comment I have about the tour is that the standard of the hotels was quite good. It is however too little to make your holiday even remotely good experience.

My family of 5 signed on for the 7-day Yellowstone/Mt. Rushmore Tour from Denver, Colorado 4 months before the actual tour. It was a disaster before day 1. I called the operator of Tours4Fun the day before the tour to confirm my reservation. I was told to meet at the fountain at Denver as on my itinerary .We arrived the day before since the earliest flight from SF would arrive in Denver at 11am. We did not want to miss the tour which started at 11:30 am. The itinerary and operator stated that if you did not arrive by 11:30 am on the day of the tour, you will miss the city tour and you would have to transfer from the airport to the hotel and join the tour the next day.

When we arrived at the Denver Airport, the fountain was nowhere to be found. I called the operator again, and this time, they told us to meet at the Burger King/Panda Express on the second floor. At this time, they told me that we were to meet the tour guide and he would have a Seagull Tour Flag. I told them that I did not sign up for that tour. I was assured that it would be the same tour.

The day of the tour, I called the tour guide to let him know that we were on time and that we were at Burger King. He told us to stay there. Later, he called and told us that we were to meet on the first floor where the old fountain used to be. We arrived before 11:30am. As I spoke to him, he asked if we ate. Of course we did. We were ready to go on the city tour. The tour guide then announced that we will be at the airport until 12:30pm, so that the other travelers could have lunch as we waited for the others to arrive. We didn't leave until 12:45pm. What a waste of time! I could have 1) arrived that day of the tour and 2) save on one night hotel bill for 5 of us.

In addition to this, my itinerary stated a Coors Brewery Tour. I mentioned this to the tour guide. He said we would not be going. What? The Coors Brewery does not allow bus tours for the last 5+ years. Tour4Fun knew this, and they continued to add it to their itinerary to sound good. The reason I chose to start at Denver for this tour was because of the brewery. My other choice was to start at Salt Lake City. Not only was the Coors Brewery on my itinerary, it is still on the Tours4Fun website for the following tours: 85-2936, 85-2944, and 85-3103.

I called the operator for Tours4Fun at the airport and complained. No results after 20 minutes on my cell. We were really pissed. The tour guide has told them to take it off the tour website many times for the last 5+ years. What a big disappointment for the 3 boys and my husband! What a way to start a tour!

Even though we are Chinese-Americans, we were treated as second/third-class citizens. We were hardly spoken to. He put us down when we corrected him/or had right answers. Our hearts went out to the English-speaking travelers. The tour guide did not translate all the information to English. He also did not translate certain information to the Chinese (Mandarin-speaking). That is, the bus drivers spoke English on the microphone and asked everyone to "make sure you clean your area" (trash, paper, etc.) before leaving the bus for the day.

We were in the front seats and heard the driver asking Allan ** to translate. He refused. After a couple of days, the bus was a mess. At this time, the guide announced the same information, and I yelled out, "Translate." And he finally did. It was not the 9 English-speaking travelers who were making the mess; it was the others.

The tour guide would speak very lengthy in Mandarin and short in English. More information was given to the Mandarin-speaking travelers. We do understand Cantonese/English and a little Mandarin. We knew it was a multi-language tour, but we did not know it would be so unbalanced. The tour guide had religious comments that were not appropriate. Not everyone believes and should pray to God/Jesus for better weather. Religion and politics should not be on the tour agenda. One person spoke up and said, "What if you don't believe in God?" That person believed in Buddhism. That person was offended.

The guide had limited control on the bus. The groups of Mandarin speakers were so loud. I asked them to quiet down, especially when he was speaking. I could not hear him. He moved us away from them. I finally spoke up at one point and said, "I cannot hear you because too many people are talking." After a couple of complaints, he finally spoke to the group. I told him I would take more action if it continued.

Due to his choices, we had a very limited visit at Jackson Hole. One place I was looking forward to. We were supposed to eat lunch at Jackson Hole, but we landed up at one of Yellowstone's cafeteria. They were not expecting this tour bus. We were allocated 40 minutes for lunch, and because of the bad service, we did not leave for over one hour.

We were 2 hours behind as we left. We were always in a rush and would arrive at the hotels so late that most of us did not eat / ate at 9-10 pm. Most of the food concession closed at 10pm or earlier. We could not enjoy the hotel facilities/town. Some of the hotels were very shabby--limited hot water, sheets were worn out, and the rooms did smell. Two hotels did not have any elevators. Thank goodness, the boys were able to carry my suitcase up the stairs for me. Ramada Inn and Holiday Inn were excellent, but we're unable to enjoy the facilities due to late arrival and early wake up.

We had a great opportunity to tour the Mormon Temple. No such luck. According to the Seagull Tour, the sister of missionaries would give a tour of the ground, but of course, this was not taken advantage of. We were there so early (8:25 am- 9:05 am) that nothing was opened. Even the visiting center was closed (opened at 9:00 am). As we left at 9:05 am, the sister of the missionaries were all lined up on the sidewalk welcoming the tour buses. This is one of the major attractions in SLC. What the **!

Important information was not given during the tour: Deadwood-Midnight Saloon which is Kevin Costner's casino/restaurant, History of Wild Bill Hick and the casino he played in which is where he died, Calamity Jane, Glenwood Springs where Doc Holiday died whose grave was within walking distance as some travelers went to the hot spring for an hour, the Denver Buffalo Bill grave/museum, US Mint, Eisenhower Tunnel, and the famous ski resort in Aspen/Vale for we drove by the slopes and town.

Food was bad. Chinese buffets. The agents must get a kickback. BK, Subway, Wendy, Supermarket, McDonald's. We were able to have 2-3 decent meals.

Good that 4 breakfasts were included, except many early risers ate their share and bagged food to go. Not much for the later eaters.

$40.00 for 4 tours was not worth it. We did not go to one, and the tour guide said he would return the $10.00 per person, but he has not. I have contacted Tours4Fun. Everyone should get back their refund. That's $50.00 for my group. Will they pocket it? I just received a voice message from Jay from Tours4Fun. He said we did see the Salt Lake. I told him that there was no admission fee/entrance fee. We went to the bathroom and saw the lake from a pier. The tour guide told us that the museum was closed and so were the facilities. I know I will not see my money at all. That was a ripoff.

The tour collected $40 x 58 passengers= $2,320.00. I believe that the 4 tours would cost only about of the collection. One tour (SL Lake) was a bathroom stop/ standing on a lookout point to see the lake (no fee/no admission). One can do better on your own. Tour guides gave a very brief introduction and used the CD for visual on the bus. At the site, he gives you 30-40 minutes for you to walk on your own and back to the bus. This tour was mainly a self-guided tour. Not enough time was given to see the presentations (film/rangers' tour) and free tours at the sites.

The driver, Chris, was excellent. He drove very well. Supplied water if needed for $1.00. Keep the bus very clean each day. He spoke to everyone. Chris stored and removed our luggage daily for us. In our opinion, he worked harder than the tour guide.

Word to the wise and be warned: Do not book with Tours4Fun/Seagull Tours. Spend a little more money and do your research. There are travel companies who are worth the money, and they're honest and fair and have excellent tour guides who know the information. Also, they provide decent food and lodging. (e.g., Ritz Tour/AAA are excellent.)
