The overall experience with Global Work and Travel has been awesome. It has been great having the support of a team to help with my visa, the peace of mind of getting a job and having somewhere to live. Josie our coordinator has been a great help and made the whole experience very smooth.

Everything is set up pretty straight forward an easy to follow. My coordinator was an absolute legend, extremely patient with my work schedule. I would definitely recommend Global Work and Travel to others.

Global has been really helpful from the start with relative documents for visas, flights, advice on insurance and arrival in country. As a young traveler, providing us with our tax file number, bank account and phone number saved us a lot of time, and helped with 'unknown' rules and local knowledge.

My first solo travel experience has been very comfortable and I've had opportunities to experience Vancouver, at least somewhat. I would suggest to other new travelers to plan ahead but also to take things day by day, as much as possible.

I worked with Global Work and Travel in order to kick start my summer trip to Australia. They helped me out massively setting up visas, mobile phones and bank accounts and plane tickets. Although this was helpful I did find the service slightly expensive as they do encourage you to book through them although you could find tickets for cheaper on your own. As for the job opportunities they did find me a job very early before my arrival which was nice, and everyone else I've encountered was able to find a job through Global. All in all helpful if you're unsure about setting off on your own for the first time, but for more experienced travelers their service wouldn't be essential.

The Global Work and Travel Co was such an amazing help in creating the experience I'm still having today! Josie answered every question and helped in every way to get me here, the support really got me through my first few days as a new and younger traveller going through homesickness and panic about being so far from the life I knew. My Coordinator was my first of many best friends on this adventure!

Global Work is a very inviting scene. Melissa being my Travel Coordinator made it very understanding and helpful to get my bank and SIN number sorted out. I would definitely recommend Global Work and Travel to anyone who is interested.

I would recommend Global Work and Travel to a friend as the staff are very friendly and the communication was excellent between the staff and myself over the few months before and the lead up to my trip. They were very quick to answer questions whether it was over the phone or by email and would always get back to me straight away. I do think it's a lot of money for the experience as obviously if you did this yourself it would cost a lot less but traveling on my own this was a great way to have anything organise for when I got there and a job ready to start straight away.

I've found the service through Global as nothing less than Exceptional. They have helped me get through all the stresses for a first time overseas traveler, along with the organisation for visas, passport and financial setup. I would heavily recommend others to go through Global Work and Travel if it's their first time overseas since the support from the office has been top quality.

My experience with Global has been really easy and positive so far. The communication and support is exceptional and everything has been set up and explained to us super simply so we can understand everything and have the best, non-stressful experience.

Overall experience has been good, it's good to finally get here and meet other people doing the same thing, Hannah has been amazing the whole time, contacting me and answering any questions I might have.

Mellisa is the best person ever, she deserves a pay rise, what a champ she is. Global has been very helpful with all the info I needed and set me up. I would recommend them to anyone who would like to travel!

My experience with Global has been incredible. The company ensures your safety and their number one priority is to make sure you make the most of your experience. My trip coordinator Bella was the absolute best and I couldn't of asked for a better support guide especially in planning my trip. She was patient and able to answer any questions I had and offered advice, tips and even told me some awesome places to check out. I missed my flight and she took it upon herself to find me an alternative route to get my destination stress free. My whole experience with global was worry free which was important to me and the company points you in the right direction for everything so you're never left clueless. I would highly recommend going through this company if you're planning a trip overseas.

My experience with Global has been great throughout. Everyone I have spoken to has been real friendly and very helpful with sorting everything, from visas, to what you will need to pack for your trip. The process is made easy, and everything difficult such as bank accounts were stress free and fast to set up, which would be more tricky without knowing how things work. Alex has been great with communication and making sure I had all the correct documents and everything ready for my trip, and also sorting all the travel over to wherever you may be employed or wish to see is well advised and all the hard/long sorting stuff is pretty much sorted for you :). I would recommend travelling with global, as it is easy and fast, you can just focus on enjoying the trip!

My experience with Global Work & Travel has been fantastic. Every step of the way there has been constant support, especially before I arrived in Canada, there was always someone on the other end of the phone or email. Since arriving in Canada the support has continued, the introductory orientation in Vancouver was brilliant. Very informative and super friendly. The staff are super helpful with every aspects of the trip and are always quick to reply with any question that you ask. Going overseas is scary but having Global Work and Travel was a reassurance that was greatly needed. I would highly recommend this company and am very happy that I found them.

Global Work and Travel has been very helpful in helping to organize my working holiday and to make sure that I have everything I need and that it is all organized. Although it is a bit more expensive than traveling by yourself it is super helpful and the staff is very friendly and offer a 24/7 support which is super helpful especially if you get lost. Global Work and Travel Co. are great for first time travelers. Very helpful and gives you a security overseas (good to let mum and dad know). If you're someone that wants to go overseas and meet people then this is the company to go with. Within the first day I met lots of people from the company and had a great time in London. They give you lots of in's and important things such as sim cards, national insurance numbers and bank accounts. Kirsty and Katy were great and really helpful! The flight organiser was less helpful and was very generic, was very expensive so I decided to do my own flights. Great company!

The help/customer service I have received while with The Global Work & Travel Co. has been amazing, the people I’ve had help from have been extremely helpful throughout the whole process and are quick to help with any inquiries I have. Our orientation was run by Kirsty and she was wonderful.

I flew into Brisbane airport at an unholy time in the morning (it was around 6 o'clock). My fluctuating mood and smell did not help the situation. However to my delight, The Global as promised had sent a driver to come and pick me up, he was informative, chatty and generally nice (he didn't mind the smell). Upon arrival to my hostel, the driver bid me farewell and helped me with my bags. The hostel that The Global had booked me into was simple and met my needs entirely, the people and the staff were friendly and helpful.

My trip coordinator Chloe was extremely helpful throughout this process. Although she became my trip coordinator about halfway through planning my trip, she stayed on top of things and helped me feel comfortable and prepared to go abroad.

Kirsty, has shown extreme professionalism and courtesy in explaining everything we need to know in an easy and simple way to follow! The orientation cleared up a lot of doubts and queries that I had before coming here and allowed me to relax.

Kirsty was amazing, so helpful and made everyone feel very comfortable. She had loads of information about the UK and Europe. Kirsty made the whole process of applying for everything we required for our stay and was very happy to answer any questions we had.

It’s so reassuring to know that all the hard work is done for you or they provide you with a easy to follow guide to get things done. It makes what can be stressful and time consuming, so easy and allows you to focus on the fun.

A great introduction/orientation that was very informative and gave me a good head start into the life I'll be now living. E.g understanding of tips, great things to try while I'm here and also how I should present myself to better the Canadian experience. Alex motivated us to get the harder things out of the way quick so we have more time to enjoy our stay here. Overall pleased that I have her as my trip coordinator. Would recommend having her.

Working holiday, with Global Work and Travel. Kristy was wonderful, she answered any questions we had, and answered questions I didn’t even think about asking. She helped us step by step on how to set up all the boring government stuff I never would have thought about!

Kirsty was wonderful! I couldn’t ask for anyone better to answer all of our questions for us! She was very kind, and fun and made the orientation go by pretty fast. I’m very excited to start my adventure in the UK, and Kirsty made me even more excited! I appreciate everything she has helped us with while figuring everything out!

Just finished my orientation and all in all, the staff were super friendly and welcoming, especially Chloe. They were very helpful in regards to information, only one small complaint which is when it came to booking flights they were really awkward about me booking my own flights but all together, good stuff. :)

I am very happy with Global so far as everything has gone smoothly from my pick up at the airport to my orientation and getting my bank and tax file number sorted and also the easy set up with an Australian phone even though it was hard to insert the sim card but it's ok. Chloe helped me. I would recommend Global to anyone as it's just that feeling of extra security plus they had my interview sorted weeks before I arrived in Australia and yes I got the job so I had no money worries to think about which is good as I can chill for a week and know my savings have only got to last a week. Chloe was great at the orientation. Very friendly and helpful. Once again thanks guys.

Making the move overseas to London can be pretty overwhelming but going through Global Work and Travel co with Kirsty has made everything so much easier. From the very start Kirsty gave us all the information we needed and kept us updated on where everything is, and what else she needs. It has made is a stress-free experience and I would definitely recommend it to anyone considering moving overseas.

It's been super easy. Kirsty has helped out so much, was able to come in early to be get a SIM card before my orientation. The accommodation and airport transfer was super easy and Katy was super helpful with getting a job. Super easy and relaxed with a great font of knowledge.

It is my third day in Vancouver and so far it has been the best experience ever. Global has made it so easy for me and has guided me the whole way. Hannah my coordinator is awesome and really helped me with any questions or any doubts I had. I really recommend Global, one of the best things I have ever done.

The global work and travel co was the most amazing service ! It gave you reassurance and a feeling that you were safe and everything is under control. You get designated a trip coordinater and mine was unbelievably great and went above and beyond to make me feel reassured and getting the job I was after! couldn’t recommend them more.

It has been extremely efficient and easy. Great staff who are always are willing to help at any time. Moving to a new country can be intimidating but with Global it becomes a great learning experience, with constant guidance along the way.

Global has been helpful with things once I arrived - getting picked up by hostel, social security number, bank account etc. Pricing for flights/insurance was very overpriced and they failed to check my profile once I uploaded my own flights. An overall okay experience.

2013 was my first ever experience with this company. Since then I have used them for 2 more working holidays! I can't believe how easy they made it from the very start! So after reading some of the reviews I'm definitely not surprised and am still shocked that this company has such a high rating. I like many others felt misinformed and pressured into making an on the spot decision. To start from the beginning, I had sent a request email to gain information and enquire about a quote. Within 48 hrs I was contacted by a young and enthusiastic salesperson who was keen to get the ball rolling. This should have been my first red flag. After babbling on for some time he told me that I'd need to pay a deposit up front to secure my spot. Going by other reviews, this seems to be their hook to drag people in.

Would definitely recommend to anyone to go through Global! Josie was so helpful through every step of the process and was so quick to reply to all emails and questions I had (which was a lot). It’s so comforting having someone with you every step of the way and that is genuinely excited for you, especially as the experience can be a little bit daunting and scary at times. Everyone at the office in Vancouver is so lovely and helpful.

Experience was fantastic with the company and I always felt that I could call and talk to anyone openly and without judgement. Josie is amazing and so helpful with questions and just to talk to in general.

I stupidly called them back in 2013 and I was hassled every day to pay the deposit. I was told I would never find a job over in the UK as the economy was really bad (I found one in 4 weeks). I was told that they would organize everything for me, they would even do my visa application and organize a bank account for me. I was sent the contract and I read over it and I had a few issues with it mainly being the fact that I couldn't book my own flights and travel insurance. I said this to the girl at GWAT and I was assured that it was an old contract and that had changed and I could arrange my own flights. I am very stupid because as I came to learn with this company to make sure any dealings you have with them you get in writing as they lie to you over the phone.

I am so pleased with the service and help I have gotten from Global Work & Travel. Alex is very welcoming and helpful. It made the transition to Canada very easy. We are so happy that we went through this company. We couldn't have done this without her!

The Global Work and Travel Co looks really good, I messaged them to inquire more information as I was interested in work and travel overseas. After I talked to them they asked if I wanted to put a deposit down, they called me every day asking me to book with them for about a month. Once I finally decided to book with them they took about $700 and directed me to their booking area. I decided to go over at the start of 2018 and they said that was okay. It's now March 2018 and I still haven't received any more information about it and have not been overseas with them. So be careful as their main aim to take your money. They do not have your interests at heart even if it seems like they do.

The team at Global Work & Travel have been incredibly helpful in every aspect. They have given me the confidence that I needed to pursue my dream of a working holiday in Canada. I was assigned an amazing trip coordinator who has helped with any questions I had regarding my travels, I highly recommend Global and their services as they have been a great team of people to work with!

I booked with The Global Work and Travel Company almost a year ago and they have helped me a lot over the time. They help set up bank accounts, tax codes and help get you jobs that help towards the 88 days agricultural work. I've emailed a lot of questions and been helped each time.

I had an excellent experience for the company Global Work and Travel Co. The only thing I would change with what I went through was the push-tactics of obtaining me to join. I called for information originally - and my hesitation was greeted with an intense amount of almost aggression. After that however, it was nothing but smooth sailing.

Orientation was packed with information which has made the experience a lot easier than if I were to do it myself. Staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend Global Work & Travel to anyone interested in working overseas.

Global Work and Travel have been extremely helpful from day one. They have answered all questions that I had to ask and have been very assertive the whole time. Everyone you speak to is extremely friendly and keep in contact regularly. They also made me feel very at ease when I arrived in Australia - even though my plans changed, they helped me to find different travel to suit where I wanted to be. As soon as I have been in contact with Global Work and Travel everything has been explained to me in detail. Any questions, any queries I have had, they have been there to answer. As soon as we arrived in Australia, we had transfer waiting for us at the airport which took us straight to the Hostel we were staying in. We had our orientation the next day, all of our sim cards, tax numbers and cards have been sorted, so have felt settled and at ease as soon as I arrived. THANK YOU GLOBAL WORK AND TRAVEL.

I would wholeheartedly recommend researching and organising your own working holiday. I thought that booking through an agency would alleviate the stress but that's all I've been doing since I placed my $700 deposit. I told the agency from before I placed the deposit that I'm a night shift worker with a 60hr week and contacting me is very difficult and would definitely only be able to take calls after midday as I finish work at 6am most days, otherwise via email would be fine.

I truly am grateful for Global's support for helping me start this epic journey I've always wanted to do. They walked me through step-by-step through everything I needed, kept it simple for me, and made sure I was getting everything done on time. If it weren't for them, I probably never would have started this great journey going through Australia, then Asia. They really made everything clear for me, and now I feel like I'm well informed and can work and travel in any country I want thanks to them. The team is awesome, with a great positive attitude and it was fun all along working with them to accomplish this dream I've always had. Thanks Global!

I’ve been traveling for the last 4 months and am so thankful to have a job straight away. Kirsty was super helpful with getting settled in the UK, making sure we know how to get bank accounts and how to go about using the NHS. Super helpful and now I can’t wait to get started!

They have also been so helpful with all of the information they have given me about things I need to know before entering Australia and also information while being out there. The staff are really friendly and very very helpful in any situation you need them and they are always a call away if you need them for anything such as, accommodation and setting up your phone whilst you're out in Australia. I would recommend Global Work & Travel Co to anyone that's thinking about a lifestyle change or just want to take a year out of what they're currently doing.

Everyone has been very helpful for the past few months and I would recommend it! Everyone has been very nice and friendly. They helped with accommodations and work which was very stressful to think about upon arrival.

I have had so much good advice from the team especially Katlin, she has been more than helpful sorting out my opportunities and getting me the best offers. In the orientation Katlin was very welcoming and made me feel a lot better about everything because I did have doubts but now I feel so much better and at ease.

I give The Global Work and Travel Co five stars because they've done everything they said they were going to do, were always in touch with me, and I can't currently think of anything they could have done better. The downside is it is pricey, but the price is reasonable since they do help you out for an entire year. It is up to other people to decide if going with Global is right for them, but I can say that this company is legitimate and they do what they say they will do. We signed up with Global Work & Travel Co. over a year ago for our 2017-2019 work experience in Canada. From day 1 it was easy process, great communication and took off the pressure. Closer to the time Alex was amazing and in contact with us regularly to see how we were feeling and making sure we were all organized. I would recommend using the Global Work & Travel Co. for your working holiday experience, it takes out the stress out of everything and makes the trip more easy and enjoyable.

I contacted The Global Work & Travel CO. with very short notice as I had made my decision late to travel to Canada for a ski season and they managed to sort all of my work, accommodation, flights, insurance and assisted heavily with my visa and setting up a bank account, social insurance number and phone number once I landed. they are very involved with their travelers and strive to find you the best job and experience tailored to your preferences.

Amazing stepping stone to start travelling. Without Global I wouldn't have had the confidence to take the step on my own. They help you with everything in orientation; Medicare, tax, job opportunities etc, takes all the pressure off and you can enjoy your time instead of worrying.

I had a very good experience going with The Global Work & Travel Co. I didn't understand how to go about starting a new life in Australia and when I looked online and found Global they made the process for me not only easy but enjoyable. They were quick to respond to my questions about the company and very honest about the funds I would need in order to make my travels in Australia probable.

The orientation was very informative and helpful, the staff were very clear and were great with their knowledge and have made me feel very confident in going through this whole experience, but also knowing that I'm never stuck and they are always there to help. The orientation was a perfect start to my working holiday. :)

Use the wonderful Global Work and Travel people to your full advantage, that's what they are here for! I have had such a positive experience with the UK team who have made my transition here absolutely seamless! Special mention to Katy and Kirsty, no question has been too big or small. Don't do things the hard way, get all the information you need beforehand, enjoy your time and make the most of your journey!

I strongly recommend NOT going with this company. It's a huge scam and it's not worth your money. They lie to you and will tell you things like "you're running out of time" to sign up when actually, there's people constantly signing up and there's no deadline. They do this so you don't have time to look at the reviews and see how actually horrible it is. I've talked to several people from Global and noticed they don't actually give you the job you want or they want to give you a job that's completely out of the way and you end up wasting money on travelling. With the amount of money it costs they should be able to find you a decent paying job in a location that you request. However I could have saved so much money by figuring everything out by myself. They also should have been able to pay for more than 4 nights accommodation. You're better off finding a job by yourself. With the exception of a few things to assist you on, they are really no help at all.

Before arriving it was great having Kaitlin close by to contact and email. Now being here it is great having the reassurance of the company to help me with anything and everything. Also I have already met so many people and it's only day two.

Global Work & Travel co have been very helpful. It all started with a inquiry online and a phone call. From the start they have given a lot of information and have been within communication reach throughout. Coming from the states rather than England they have been very accommodating. Everything ran smoothly on arrival. They are quick, reliable and very helpful.

Everything has gone really well with the booking experience, and is great now we are here. The trip coordinator has always checked that we understand everything and has always been very helpful, and has given us lots of information in the orientation.

Very happy and feeling well looked after. Things I was not too sure about have been cleared up and like I said I feel very well looked after and it's taken a lot of the stress of travelling away.

The experience has been great so far. Kaitlin has been very easy to deal with and get information to and from. The job search has been a little hard for because I have an interview at a job I do not want.

The experience so far has been really good, it is reassuring to have the support from the company when you are unsure. The company also provide discounts and free vouchers to parks which encourages you to also see new places.

Working Holiday to Canada - I have only been in Vancouver for 2 days and 2 nights and so far it's really nice. I have been staying at the HI downtown and it's a great way to meet people especially if you are traveling by yourself. I had my orientation with Global and it was a really good information session where I found out all the important info I needed to get started for my work in Banff and sorting out a bank account and SIN number for tax.

Everything has been perfect and well explained, even if it's a stupid question. All very professional.

I have been very happy with the level of service that global travel has provided for me. They have taken care of me from the day I landed in Brisbane. I would like to thank Olivia my travel agent for being the best ever :) and everyone else behind the scenes... thanks again!!

Totally awesome. No matter how silly the question might be, they are always there for you with an answer. Always ready with great advice and suggestions for things to do. Even helped me out to get a dentist when I arrived. Would recommend 150% to anyone.

I wish I had of seen the real reviews before I signed up, I would never recommend this company to anyone. I joined and paid a lot of money last year to go to the UK and be an au pair. I left in October and worked for a beautiful family for 7 weeks. Whilst they were a lovely family there was a lot of problems which previous au pairs have complained about which The Global Work and Travel Co. "conveniently" left out. After I left the family early December of my own accord to stay with a friend in Wales for 2 weeks to look after her children, I never heard from this company again, which was very disappointing.

My experience with Global Work and Travel has been great so far. I had initially signed up for the working holiday in Canada but due to visa issues I was given the chance to switch to the Australian one. All the staff were really helpful and switched me without any fuss or trouble. I would definitely recommend Global Work and Travel to anyone, it gives you such a great opportunity to see and work in different parts of the world.

A great team of people that assist you to get all travel adventures sorted. Everything is well organised and contact with the friendly staff throughout the process was great. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Global Work and Travel. As with all the time and organizing to prepare a trip, they made it seem easy and effortless.

So since my initial decision to go work and travel Australia, Global have been amazing and so helpful. Obviously there is a time difference and therefore a delay with a response but always have responded to any query and questions that I have had. Put a down payment on a trip a while ago, now because of school I can no longer go. This company refuses to give me my money back, it looks like now I'm out of $600 and they couldn't possibly care less about my situation. They expect me to find someone to cover my trip, because apparently they're too busy scamming people to do so themselves. It's a shame company like this still exist. No customer service whatsoever. This company is a scam, please dont waste your hard earned money here. I intend to file a complaint with the BBB regarding this company's practices.

From the moment I phoned up to book the trip to the second I arrived every aspect of my trip was arranged and sorted through Global, they give you all the information that you need and provide professional and clear instruction on every aspect of the trip from applying for the visa to the little things like how to get to my first job opportunity. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Upon arrival in the U.K the support was amazing. Orientation was really in-depth and extremely helpful. Everything was explained such as how to activate your phone number, set up your bank account and how to get around on the public transport. A lot of questions were answered and questions were encouraged. Felt really secure and safe and extremely supported.

Using Global Travel was a great experience and perfect way to travel for people who are first time travelers, like myself. They helped me out to the fullest extent and the transfer from home to Canada has been a breeze. Everything is organised and prepared as soon as you step off the plane! Been very informative (info of the town, country, where to go, how to get around). The most helpful part was help with the Visa when to apply and what to do, as it seemed quite confusing. Cool discounts. Global is very good at accommodating the type of job you would like, and try to find either the best job or location for what you would like to do.

A few hours after arriving in London for my UK working holiday, I was welcomed by both Katy & Kirsty at the Global office. They explained absolutely everything I needed to know, without me asking many questions. Wouldn't have been able to do this without the team!

I arrived on the 25th of April 2017, I had my orientation appointment today. The staff are fantastic, so helpful, I had my job all organised long before I got here. I would definitely recommend Global to anyone thinking of taking a gap year, or who just wants to do some travelling and see the world.

I have been contacted regularly and well supported throughout this experience. As a young, solo female traveler it has been extremely challenging to commit to such big dream to come over to the UK to travel and work. I have had amazing support and flexibility from all the staff members. Arriving at the office, I have been greeted with opened arms and warmth, reassuring me that I am capable and that I have "back up" and that I won't be completely on my own.

It was my first time moving away from home and I decided to take the leap and do it in the UK. Going through Global Work & Travel has been a huge comforting and supportive experience. I have sent hundreds of emails double checking everything, changing my mind and every time the support from the team (especially Kirsty and Katy) has been amazing. My first day arriving in London was definitely overwhelming but once having my Orientation at the GWT headquarters with Kirsty I felt very comforted and eager to start the adventure with the team by my side! This experience made us feel a lot comfortable with traveling, especially as this is our first time traveling to Canada. Fast responses throughout the few months were great, we found all our questions got answered quickly and we were very satisfied with the answers. I would actually give 2 and a half because I am not dissatisfied though nor am I satisfied. For the price I paid to be a part of this, I don't feel that the help supplied is worth the trip, also with the extensive contract and rules in place that keep customers from being able to back out after paying and not being able to get their money back. Although aside from that, I am here... I wouldn't have made it here without Global. I will mention this company to others, but I will not openly recommend it.

My experience with Global was amazing. They helped me a lot with everything I needed and understood my priorities and requirements. Alex my coordinator in the Canadian office was extremely helpful and made everything soo much easier. However, between missing flights and having cancellations I've been running ragged and it's been a massive headache. They've got me somewhere to stay right off the plane and a job opportunity just a day after I landed. So overall I'm really grateful for their hard work.

Trip to the UK - My experience was excellent. The orientation was very thorough and also very helpful with lots of little local tips and tricks given to help with public transport. Handy tours were also provided to help see all the sights tourists want to see.

Landing in London -- I loved knowing when I come here that I get help with absolutely everything and knowing that I won't get stuck or in trouble, or have a problem with everything. The staff will help even if you need direction.

My experience so far has been absolutely wonderful so far! I've only been in for a day, but the time I've spent has been effortless. Global has made my transition into Australia everything I hoped for and more.

The long story is underneath but the short version is this company is horrible awful. They ripped me off stole a bunch of my money and did not help me at all. I've now been on my working holiday for nine months with zero help from them. No job I've had or apartment I've stayed in has been provided by them. Just don't do it, man.

Alex was faultless with the help she gave me. Quick to reply to messages and emails and was always happy to assist with any of my needs. She was very knowledgeable and informative while being relatable at the same time.

I couldn't get a refund after I found out I couldn't do my trip. This was TWO DAYS after I booked, and I only paid the deposit. Why couldn't they just refund my money. This is abysmal. $700 of my money is now floating around in uncertainty because I definitely don't want to do anything with this company. If you cancel you lose it. If you got through with it you have to pay and additional $1300 and then everything else. You basically pay $2000 to these "people" and they do nothing to deserve it.

What a wonderful adventure so far; and I owe it all to The Global Work & Travel Co. With the constant assistance and guidance, I truly had no difficulties in my travels. As a plus, included airport transfer, 5 nights accommodation, and orientation prior to employment, I am more than confident to be where am I. I also have the confidence to not only travel to my new employment but also to explore the UK, and Europe. I am very thankful for all the positive staff; from the recruiting process, to the travel concierge, to the lovely working holiday staffing.

I am an Aussie working and traveling in Canada. The way Global works, is that you pay over $1000 upfront, just for their "services". After that, you're required to book EVERYTHING through them, like insurance, visa and flights, all of which is not included in the initial price. If you choose not to book your flights and insurance through Global they do not have to "help" find you a job or place to stay. I worked for an airline for 4 years and was more than happy to book my flights myself as I am very experienced in the industry. However I chose to allow Global to book my flights so that they would help me find a job. The flights were unnecessarily expensive and I could have booked much cheaper flights myself with the same amount of luggage and travel insurance.

Global have been fantastic with me. I had a few problems before arriving and Olivia stayed in touch with me throughout the whole time and arriving. Olivia has supported us in finding jobs and helping with directions and setting up everything. I couldn't recommend any other company more. Global have been fantastic.

I booked through Global in August and they have been absolutely fantastic with me. So helpful and supportive throughout. Had a horrendous experience travelling from England to Australia first time round due to fraud of a passport in early December. Global were so helpful and concerned of the horrendous time we had in China. Finally arrived in Australia on New Year's day 2017 and had job interviews within the first week of arriving. My coordinator has also been helping look for adventures that may interest me etc. Looking forward to more support throughout my working holiday from Global. Excellent way to make dreams come true with ease.

The staff have been extremely helpful and friendly. A lot of useful information on various parts of Australia, trips, cool things to do and places to visit has been helpful. I have already received a phone and help with arranging my tax code. Global Work & Travel have covered everything you would think of when relocating to another country. They have been super!

Global have given me the confidence to go ahead and do something I had been hesitant to do on my own. Their friendly and competent staff have been very helpful and informative and have guided me through the processes that I would have found difficult and off putting on my own.

The Global Work and Travel Company is a company that draws in people of all ages and says that they will guarantee work overseas which could be true to some extent, but they demand money upfront. My son was involved in a traumatic accident and at this moment is medically unfit to work or travel and has depression. When he received the call he couldn't believe his luck. Their main concern was if and when he could pay the initial deposit and then the monthly payments. They did not ask of any medical or criminal background. Yes maybe he should have disclosed this himself but he is suffering depression from the trauma. I asked in good faith if The Global Work & Travel Co. could refund his money as he has medical bills and is only on a Youth Allowance but SURPRISE SURPRISE I got NO RESPONSE AT ALL.

So this company is basically like your average bad relationship. They're nice and 'helpful' when originally signing up, but as soon as they get a hold of your hard earned dollars, it's like they don't exist anymore. I had originally signed up with The Global Work & Travel Co. back in February 2016 because I was dying to go to Australia, but was terrified to go without a security blanket in case one of those horror stories you hear came true. It all seemed too good to be true... that's because it was.

Kaitlin was very informative and professional. She informed me on all basis of living and working in Australia. She showed us that we have a solid support group and that we will always have someone willing to help us.

I paid $1600 for my Italian account and $3600 for my Thailand account. Flights were not included. I was young when I originally signed up for my Thailand account and was hustled into paying my $500 down deposit. Before leaving for Italy I was given the wrong directions to get my visa which made things stressful... that and getting me assigned with a family was the only service that was provided for me. It's difficult to keep in contact with this company especially since they go through employees like dirty underwear. BUT, if you have not paid the down deposit or full amount they make more of an effort to be accessible to 'you'.

Global has been a very helpful safety net for me as a traveler so far. It has been great to have someone there on the end of the phone at any time if you need and to be given all the information you need to get started. Lauren, Olivia and Daniel have been especially helpful to me especially.

My experience this far has been a positive one. I have been looked after and a job opportunity was presented days before I arrived. Which I unfortunately could not take. The company has still continued to help me with jobs though. Also the Hostel free stay has been a huge help and a good way to meet new people.

I cannot stress enough how disappointed I was with Global Work & Travel. Not only do I think they need to be shut down, but the owners thrown in jail. Read the fine print! This is essentially a company that does nothing. You heard it, absolutely nothing, except take your money and run. I pretty much paid $1000.00 to be picked up from the airport in Gold Coast, Australia and have a one week stay in the worst imaginable hostel. There was no job offer other than farm work, which is incredibly easy to find on your own. They'll try to talk you into doing your farm work to extend your visa for another year, and so they can forget about you and move on to the next backpacker. The orientation was nothing more than a slideshow of Australia... I found myself scrambling after only a few days to try and figure out what I was to do next. All in all, I ended up getting a bus out of the ** hole they call Surfers Paradise to Coffs Harbour, and the rest was history.

Global have been very helpful in setting everything up on my arrival. I look forward to starting my work and enjoying the experience. All members of staff are also very friendly and approachable.

So it's not even been 24 hours yet but everything as promised by the GWT has been on point from landing at the airport and meeting your smiley transfer driver to checking in to the accommodation and then meeting the GWT for the orientation the next morning. The ocean view is amazing in surfers paradise and your weather is beautiful. The staff that are assigned to you before your trip and when you arrive are very helpful/organised with the information/support you may need moving to a new country.

As discussed in various phone calls with Global Work and Travel staff, I was promised an internship with a well-known company. After weeks of forms, applications and phone calls, I was told that I was only eligible for internships with NGOs as I am not doing an internship for credit points/uni. I wish they could have told me earlier to avoid weeks of wasted time and energy. The company wanted to charge upwards of $2,700 for this... something that could easily be avoided by just applying directly. Luckily, I was able to receive a refund for my down payment. My guess is that there are many out there who haven't. My other advice would be to not fall for their high-pressure sales tactics - take time to think about it rather than putting down the $800 deposit in the first phone call.
