Travelling overseas for the first time was scary but having Maria to help with every step made it super simple. Anything I needed she was able to help me within a timely manner! Very happy with my experience using Global Work & Travel.

Maria and the Global Work & Travel team were great! Very welcoming and comforting to know friendly faces we can contact in the country! Maria specifically has been a great help in organising our trip as well as being easy to contact with straightforward information and answers to our questions.

Global were very helpful throughout the moving process. Eimear constantly kept in touch and has been continually checking in to see if there is anything she can help with. Any questions I had or request for recommendations were quickly tended to. Global Work and Travel covered everything involved in moving and were able to give clear instructions about getting to Canada.

The team at Global made organizing my Canada trip an absolutely breeze! Took away so many headaches, consistently assisted with any questions and took a lot of stress off my shoulders before and since arriving in Canada.

Eimear my arrival coordinator has been amazing throughout my process to begin my journey to Canada making me feel at ease about any stresses I had in the moving process. Eimear was very welcoming and friendly on my arrival to Canada for orientation. Eimear continues to be a great help answering any questions I may have throughout my stay. It is really nice having Eimear as an arrival coordinator as she is such a friendly person but also we have the connection of both being Irish.

Julie-Ann has been by my side through this whole process & made this experience as an AU Pair absolutely amazing. She has been so accommodating & helped me through any challenges I have had to overcome in Italy. I would recommend Global Work & Travel to anyone who is looking for an opportunity to travel the world, make friends & have the whole process be stress free!

I used Global Work & Travel to become an au pair in Paris and it was a great experience. Everyone who works there is kind and accommodating, especially my au pair coordinator, Julie-Anne. I had some trouble with getting my visa on time and Julie-Anne was able to assure me that everything was going to be okay and that I would still be able to go to France even if I was a bit late. She listened to me and was very helpful with explaining what to do. I would definitely use Global Work & Travel again!

Global were of the utmost assistant upon me deciding to embark upon my Canadian Working Holiday Visa. Their experienced advisors put me at ease from the start by answering any queries I had. They've been there after I landed in Canada and went to my destinations during winter and summer and have always been good in getting back to me with any questions I've had so far while abroad. The Getaways inclusion which is new this year is also superb as it meant I got to see Vegas and the Grand Canyon which was an experience to say the least.

I signed up with Global in April 2022 for a working holiday trip to Canada. Along the way, I was assigned Maria as my arrival coordinator, and we have been in frequent contact since, organising my trip for the past few months. Maria is an enthusiastic and friendly person who helped make the whole process much easier for me. She provided me with a range of information and suggestions about things I should do and see in Canada. Maria helped secure me a job on the mountain with Sunshine Village in Banff, with staff accommodation, which I am very grateful for. I am loving my trip so far and am excited for the future. It has been a pleasure working with Maria and I definitely recommend her! :)

It's nice having the peace of mind a coordinator with my journey in Canada. My coordinator Maria has been great introducing me to Canada and all the differences in culture. I've already met tons of new people from Australia, Europe & all around the world.

Planning to move your life overseas is very stressful, however with the help from my Trip coordinator Julie Anne I was supported throughout the whole experience. I was provided with guidance and support at any hour of the day which made the overall experience stress free.

I came to Canada with the help of Global Work & Travel Agency. They are helping me make my dreams and goals come true. They made the application process and the whole moving process a lot easier and made me feel safe in a foreign country, thousands of miles away from home. I can rely on my coordinator Eimear, who has been helping in any way she knows and can, gives me advice and is my rock! Couldn't do it without her. :) Absolutely would go with them all over again!

My travel coordinator, Tiare, has been so helpful and kind throughout this experience. She has answered all the little questions and queries I've asked and really made us feel welcomed and valid. She has been there to help 100% from the start.

Do NOT arrange your working or volunteer trip with Global Work and Travel. They charge huge amounts of money for NOTHING. $1800- for promises that never materialize. $1800- for 4 nights in a hostel that you can book yourself for $20.00 per night!! They promise to help set up jobs, assist with visa processing. NOT TRUE. They were not even aware of the cost of a working NZ visa. Was told 280- and was actually 455-. Only contact was from sales person looking to sell flights and over priced travel insurance. They insist on full payment up front, claim to have a generous cancellation policy, but when trying to get a response regarding cancellation, we were stalled until it was too late to receive even 50% of the money back. My daughter saved for 18 months only to lose $1800-. It is NOTHING but a hard sell travel agency. DO not fall victim to their pushy sales tactics. They offer NOTHING for your money.

I had loads of help from Global Work and Travel and they made my first solo trip come true which was amazing. There is a few downfalls Though. I feel like I didn’t get enough information about the place I was visiting. I got told that 800 pounds wouldn’t have been enough for my flight there and back so did that myself and got flights for my budget. They did take a lot of the stress away like when you paid for everything they sort the Insurance out which help take stress away from me. They didn’t contact me as much as I would have liked especially throughout Covid as I’d already paid for most of everything and I would have to contact them. My travel Coordinator got changed three times so found it hard to email and get in touch with someone that could help. I did have an amazing time though and I’m definitely want to return there.

The whole process was better than ever, I had the help I needed and when I had a question they gave me an answer, 10/10. I'm very happy with the service and glad they didn’t miss a beat. Can’t wait for my trip!

Tiare at Global was fantastic throughout the entire of process of my move to Canada. From filling out forms to answering every question I had, she was always on hand to assist. The transition to adjusting to life in Canada has been made so easy and stress-free by the guys at GWT and I couldn't recommend them enough! Thanks guys!

Nichola, my trip coordinator has been absolutely amazing and helped me with questions every step of the way. She made the whole process so incredibly easy and everything lined up with what she'd said once I arrived. Three days into my 4 weeks studying and I am having the best time. Would absolutely recommend giving it a go, such a wonderful way to travel!

I have had a good experience with Global Work and Travel. A lot of swapping with my travel coordinator which lead to some lack of communication and confusion although once I was assigned Julie-Anne my experience significantly improved. She has a vast array of knowledge and experience in travel and Au Pairing and was able to put me at ease and make me feel safe during a tricky situation whilst I have been abroad. I felt she genuinely cared about my safety and happiness while Au Pairing.

Global Work and Travel have helped me on my exciting journey to Canada from Australia. They were extremely helpful in all aspects of my trip, including sorting out my visa, passport, flights, insurance, etc. I'd like to particularly thank Maria who was my travel coordinator. She helped me with any questions and concerns I had along the way with fast and friendly responses. She helped me find an amazing job in Revelstoke and continues to assist me along the way as new job opportunities arise. She met me with a warm and welcoming smile when I first arrived in Canada and taught me the basics on how to live comfortably during my stay in Canada. A huge thank you to the entire team at Global work and travel!

Jennifer has been the best travel coordinator you could ask for. She has helped us every step of the way. During the orientation on the day we arrived in London, Ross also introduce himself, he made us feel extremely welcome and comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Really laid back but very informative, every question answered. All members of staff extremely helpful, full of knowledge and easy to talk to. Made travelling to a different country has been made so much easier and no stress involved. Could not thank them enough.

I had a great experience with the travel agents at global work and travel. My agent David was always very patient and kind and answered all my emails and calls straight away. I was always kept Update with all informational regarding my flights. I was very happy with all the help I received.

Jennifer was a fantastic help to me. She made sure everything went smoothly upon my arrival and took away the stress of being in a new country. Her orientation was so helpful as she explained to us the ins and outs of living in the UK. My first work experience was not what either of us had expected, and when I told her I was upset and wanted to leave, she promised we would figure something out. I’m so happy she has my back, I know it’s also a huge weight off of my parents' shoulders knowing that the team at Global will do everything in their power to make sure I have a good experience working abroad and that I am safe and taken care of. Jen from Global was great, she helped along the way the entire time. Answered all my emails in a reasonable time considering the time differences. I was overall happy with my Global experience and I’m now living life abroad. Jen kept in touch with me often and it was a pleasure to meet the team in their awesome building in London.

The experience with traveling to Japan and learning Japanese was good. I enjoyed coming back to Japan while studying for the N3 test. I am looking forward to reusing the program before the test next year. The time, effort, and constant adjustment was good. The only issue was getting the visa set up prior to leaving (adjustment). Other than that, it was very solid.

Not worth the money, the actual pastoral help they give you on your trip is next to none. They essentially just upsell you everything and apply a LOT of pressure and time deadlines for you to pay out, over charge for flights insurance, phone plans, etc., etc. For the money you pay they really help you with very little. Read the small text. 6 month obligations for work placements, very strict about sticking to those contracts in order to ‘keep the company's reputation’. Majority of placements will be with big corp hotels where they treat you badly. You can do so much better on your own, just have the confidence to get out there and you’ll meet loads of people in the hostels you stay at and find places to stay without them! You don’t need to pay them thousands for the little help they give. I promise you!
