They refunded the amount which was charged additional after seeing this review. Am marking this issue as resolved.

    Original Review: July 21, 2017

Very pathetic. They charged over what they quoted in the billing forwarded to me. An additional of 20 dollar. I called and checked with bank and travels but the travel agency does not accept it as their transaction but it was their name on it.

I would have liked someone to explain that the travel agency receives a separate fee of $110.00 or more and that was part of the total. Also, I would have liked them to explain to me too about food be included, and the baggage policy. If we have to pay for baggage, or if we get 2 bags free of charge.

I booked a flight online with One Travel. When I received the email confirmation, 1minute, later I realized the date was wrong. I tried to cancel online but couldn't so I called to re-book. The price they quoted me was twice the original price, so I asked them to cancel. They charged me $50. I told them about a 24 hours free cancellation policy for airline tickets. They told me it was for airlines only, not travel agencies. I told them it was written on their site "book with confidence, 24h cancellation". They remarked it doesn't say "free". I disputed the charge with my credit card provider -- pending. I contacted the Better Business Bureau. They wrote me back: "The company is no longer in business." Well I am afraid it is, still. I invite consumers, victim of this scam to do the same. Good luck.

Horrible Experience. Customer Service reps do not really speak English, mostly reading prepared scripts. I have booked a flight 2 days ago and still not received itinerary. I asked them if they could send, they told me that it will take a minimum of 24-48 hours to resend. Why MINIMUM 24-48 hours to send itinerary email? Which century are we living in? Also, the service agent was rude and arrogant and when I requested to speak to a Supervisor, he told me, "You can waste your time if you wish". I have used OneTravel a few times before and not a problem, but then also never had a reason to call Customer Service, but this will be my last time. Customer Service, obviously not a term in their dictionary!

I bought a ticket with the best price available. After checking with every price comparing website, no one was near cheaper. After buying, I searched Google for OneTravel and these reviews came up. I was in shock and fear that I lost my money. I am happy to inform that there was nothing to worry about. I had a small problem, got answered immediately in chat and got the airline confirmation number. I don't know what most of these complaints are about, But I had good experience with them and got the best price available around and I should add that the tickets were bought on short notice.

All of our Scotland from Charlotte, NC non-OneTravel bookings were as expected without disappointment. Great trip with a huge exception of OneTravel. OneTravel is a huge disappointment. Paid for the "seat selection/insurance" and that was a waste of $29. BIG SCAM. OneTravel personnel could not provide any service AT ALL. Never got seat selections for Aer Lingus flights. I had to sweat bullets to arrive in time to get seat selection in the airport. Never got what I requested from OneTravel.

OneTravel has NO PULL with Aer Lingus and they do not know or they obfuscate the fact that Aer Lingus will not allow OneTravel to access the seating charts and select on behalf of customers. Aer Lingus locks out bookings originating from travel companies such as OneTravel. Lesson Learned. DO NOT USE ONETRAVEL. (CheapOair still under cover as OneTravel and CheapOair and they screwed me before) My advice is book directly with airlines. My sister in law found pricing as good if not better and had the seating in advance and no worries.

Onetravel.com has bad services, we will do our best to inform everyone NOT to use ONETRAVEL or KAYAK. They are headache site. WORST SERVICES ever in my LIFE! I cancelled my credit card due to their bad services as they could not confirm our booking right away. We called up their hotline hundred times and waiting for long time to get the confirmation of our flight and kept on waiting and waiting for their answer but it ended to wait for 5 hours but we did not receive any call from them for more than 10 hours.

Calling for confirming your ticket will cost you a lot as our booking still pending and they said they waiting for the verification of the card. I really don't know to whom they are verifying my card. To make the story short, I cancelled my booking and I cancelled my credit as well as my bank agent suggested to cancel immediately as they got all my informations already. NEVER use KAYAK and OneTravel if you want to enjoy your holiday.

OneTravel has horrible customer service. It was like talking to a wall. I tried calling AND live chatting. This entire issue could have been avoided if their customer service team actually understood the English language. The language barriers between myself and the agents caused a huge issue with my bank and my sanity. I requested (many times during my conversations) to talk with an agent located in the US and was never obliged. I attempted to communicate my issues with the agents and it was a complete waste of time. Terrible customer service. I will no longer be a customer of OneTravel. I'm taking my business elsewhere and I'm spreading the word to everybody I know to never use OneTravel again.

Disclaimer: My long stressful experience is written in details down below. But let me just tell you all how this company, all the process including the booking, name changing, cancellation, and refunding, as well as mistaking some credit card accounts and amounts is very very stressful. You might be lured into their cheap price, but once you want to change ANYTHING, everything is an additional fee and it is very hard to reach them! I thought they were something like a scam because they never check the email and respond back, and every single part gets connected to different departments and you have to tell your story on and on each time. They are not responsible and takes advantage of you (especially when you are not fluent with English! I had to translate this whole process for my family because they would look down on them!)

On Jun 16, 2017, I made a reservation for me and my 3 friends and tried using my card for the payment but it failed due to account amount limit so my friend used her card. By the way, I have sent a similar email to tlc@onetravel.com however they never replied back to us even though on the website it said to email them when questions are needed.

On July 3rd, 2017, I called the OneTravel company wanting to change one of the passenger to a new passenger, so I cancelled the seat of one of my friend and paid 150$ of cancellation fee. But in the end, I had to cancel the rest of 3 people as well, so I also paid 450$ for the rest of the cancellation fee (the total amount of 150$ and 450$ is 600$ and this will be paid to the OneTravel company on July 26th, 2017 due to credit card system). So the total refund amount for 4 people, 876.68$ was refunded to my friend's card out of 1471.88$ the total flight expenses. Which means that the cancellation fee is subtracted from 1471.68$-876.68$=600$. Then, the cancellation fee is taken by the company leaving my friend with the refund amount of 876.68$. Also, instead of 1471.68$, about 1535$ was charged from my friend's account!

However, another 600$ was charged for the cancellation fee in the beginning with no refund to my account. When I made a phone call to the company’s billing department, they told me that from a card that we never paid with, a total amount of 1,090$ was charged and a refund of 876.68$, leaving with the amount 213.6$. I don’t even know what this 213.6$ was charged for and not returned as a refund as well. Also they told me that from my card 150$ was charged, and 450$ was charged (when I made a cancellation call and went through this process, but above it’s already shown how this 600$ is taken from my friend's account leaving with the refund of 876.68$) And another 381.6$ was charged for the flights when all the flight expenses were charged from my friend's account!

This company has a major system error with this calculation as well as amount procedure for each account for our cards. The amounts that were actually charged from our card accounts (checked by the credit card bank for the amounts) are different to what this company is saying that was charged. And due to this major error from your company, we need to get a reply from them to cancel on the 600$ that will be processed to be charged on July 26th, 2017. As well as a confirmation and apology for this mistake and this stressful process of cancelling, refunding, account mistaking! But they haven't even read the email still after days and days!

Really bad experience. Did a booking online, received booking confirmation and all the details, but then a day and half later they send me an email that there is a problem with my credit card. Couldn't verify some personal data with my credit card provider. I did change them so that they match, but then started the problem. First they said my ticket increased in price 600 us$. I said I see it online at similar prices, but they said there was nothing they could do.

After some back and forth, I asked to cancel it, and boom, miraculously they said they could keep the price (she said she asked her supervisor). But then I had to go again through the verification process, and again they couldn't verify my personal data with AmEx. After asking the guy to check multiple times, he was able to verify them. Long story short, really bad customer service. I thought I had the booking, and went ahead and booked hotels etc, and then had to spend really long time on the phone resolving their issues.

Incident #1: Booked a flight and received a confirmation email saying in green letters right at the very top that my reservation had been confirmed along with my flight information. Showed up to the airport only to find out the airline had no reservation for me. When I called OneTravel they told me that after I made my reservation, and while my payment verification was being processed, that the price of the flight had changed so I needed to rebook. No one ever contacted me in any way, shape or form to tell me this. Incident #2: Extremely steep cancellation fees. Cancelled an international flight. Received a confirmation email saying I would be charged a $250 cancellation fee. But, they also ended up charging me an additional $174 on top of that. So I paid a total of $424 for a flight I never took. I didn't even get any kind of partial credit for a future flight.

In both cases, I called to speak to someone in customer service. Like many companies these days, they outsource their call center to a foreign country where there is a language/accent barrier in order to save a buck. Both people I spoke to were extremely rude to me. They actually argued with me. I was never given a clear explanation on anything or made to feel better as a customer in any way. It was hands down the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my entire life and that is not an exaggeration. After seeing the number of complaints on the ConsumerAffairs website and other negative reviews online, it blows my mind that a company like this could actually still be in business. Do not deal with these people. There are way better options for you elsewhere.

Wish I had checked this company out a bit before I tried to book a flight through them. Everything seemed like a typical internet experience. Entered all my info for my flight including my dates. To my fault I did not notice that the return flight date that I chose was not the same on their itinerary and found this only after I had booked the flight with my credit card. I called to explain this and to change it to my original dates. I was told it was not available. I could barely understand the foreign speaking agent and said that I wanted to cancel the order (less than 24 hours). Bottom line is that canceling is going to cost me a couple hundred + dollars. Never to return to this company or ones that look just like it (cheapoair). If they make a change to the dates you select they need to make it a big deal and say that they have done so.

Since last many years I am booking my hotels and flights through Expedia or Priceline and I never had any bad experience or false commitment from them. This was the first time I thought to change my vacation booking from OneTravel. I booked my air tickets through OneTravel from Zurich to London and return from Paris to Zurich. Before finalizing my booking I called customer service of OneTravel to make some clarifications about baggage policy. It was confirmed by customer service that the fare being shown on website includes one carry on and one checked in bag for each individual.

Fortunately, I checked later on airlines website, but my booking was showing no checked in bag included in our fare for all four of us. Then I again called customer service OneTravel and the agent reconfirmed me that your fare includes one free checked in bag and one carry-on bag for each and she emailed me the baggage policy. And she said Airlines sometimes make mistake and she will call airlines and will call me back, but she never called me back.

I called again to OneTravel and the agent put me on hold to make his supervisor talk with me, but after 20-25 minutes holding phone was disconnected. Next day I called again OneTravel customer service and they were not accepting their fault that they have misstated me that fare includes free baggage even I have proof of email where they reconfirmed me inclusion of free checked in bag. They transferred my phone to Accounts Payable to explain them my situation and AP said me that they don't handle this type of issue and rolled me back to Customer service.

So they were rolling over the ball towards each other and was wasting my time. So ultimately I gave to waste my more time and decided never to go with OneTravel. And I have decided to pay additional for my baggage out of my pocket. And altogether it will cost me much higher than the fare being shown on Expedia including free baggage. After having my experience with OneTravel, me and my family and friends have decided never to go with OneTravel in future.

At this point, they told me that changing my ticket would cost over $463 USD, therefore I purchased another ticket with Air Corsica directly at $390 (370 Euros). Air Corsica informed me that I did not need to cancel the unused reservation booked via One Travel and advised me that I would get reimbursed for my original ticket by OneTravel.

Upon my return home to New York City, I called OneTravel and they gave me the run around plus lied about not being able to give me a refund or a credit because I did not previously cancel my ticket. When I called, they said I made the mistake but they could reschedule it and found another flight for another $55 which still seemed reasonable so I said, "Fine, do it." After he had done the change he tells me that unfortunately because it is a discounted rate I cannot check a bag, which is insane! My guess is that I would probably have been able to check a bag anyway since there is no such thing, but I decided all this scam was already too much so I canceled the flight for $50 an hour after I made it. And there's a fee for Travel.com 14$ too for agent service that pop out of nowhere in my credit card. Also be careful on USD dollars and CAN dollars!!.It's really a SCAM!! They then go through the process with you asking many questions and then ask for payment details on the phone. Turns out they are not CheapOair and are a company calling from India and not to be trusted with cc info nor with validity of the tickets they provide you a link to get online. Their booking not recognized by the airline and I can't add baggage, so will be overcharged for it at the airport. I text chatted to one of their employees who was no help at all. Just told me to call the airline to sort it out. I will never use this company again. I was caught out. I advice to first check the airlines web sites as I usually do. They surprised me by asking for $25 fees for a change that was made within 10 minutes from the booking. I told them how unclear it was from the site and asked if I can cancel and rebook instead. The response was that I can do that for $75. I shared that I have never had such a request for change or cancellation fees within less than 24 hours from the booking. I was passed to a manager which was even more rude. He told me that I now cannot get the $25 cancellation fee and he is only going to charge me for $75 because I am not gonna be happy anyways. Eventually I was forced to pay the $25 but I will never use this site again due to the rude outsourced customer service that they use and taking advantage of human errors to charge extra. We have used OneTravel for years now on our family trips flying once to twice a year. I have had to use the insurance we bought once to change a flight and the only trouble I had was understanding the agent (that gets really irritating- they ought to have people who can speak and understand their customers in the area they are serving). I have their app on my phone and it shows where the gate is that we need to get to prior to the flight, where the plane is and the ETA, and it keeps track of all your trips which is really handy when you have a few upcoming. The tickets have always been there at the kiosk when we get there and there have never been any issues. We've upgraded seats at the last minute, used kiosks and ticket agents without problems.

I made a username on the OneTravel site, and have been accumulating points towards discounts. The only thing with their site I haven't liked is the charging for seats that they do as I have long legs so I end up paying an extra 15$. Even with that, it beats the airline prices as I can't get the same discount going to the airlines direct... I've tried with their pages up right next to OneTravel, so I'll pay 15$ for my leg room and we have flown American Airlines using OneTravel for the last 3 years without anyone problems or issues.

My experience with OneTravel was absolutely TERRIBLE to say the least. More than 24 hours prior to my flight I called to get assistance to add middle names to our tickets, the representative on the other end was so incredibly rude and gave me attitude about why I didn't call weeks before to change it. On their policy, it says that they are supposed to be able to help you 24 hours before your flight on anything that you need assistance with. This man then proceeded to tell me that there was no way he could change the names on our tickets and because we didn't have our middle names, it would be impossible for my friends and I to board our plane. He gave me the ONLY option to cancel my flights and to purchase new tickets, so that we could add our middle names. Each ticket was twice as much as what my friends and I had originally paid for. We found this option to be very deceiving and did not choose to go this route.

In my years of flying, I have NEVER not been able to board the plane with a missing middle name. This man kept pushing for me to cancel my flights and was so inappropriate and rude on the phone. After 2 hours of this man's inappropriate behavior on the phone and declining this option, he had the audacity to call me the NEXT DAY (the day of my flight) WITHOUT my permission to try once more to cancel my flights and purchase the more expensive ones. Just to be clear, my friends and I were able to board all our flights WITH NO PROBLEM. My experience with this representative gave me the impression that all they want is to suck out every single penny from you. They could care less about any issues that the customer has. I had to cancel a trip, which was easy. I was sent an email cancellation with the information about using the credit. I was charged $100 for the cancellation and I can only use the credit with Air Canada, which I am fine with. It also states that I will be charged $300 per person to use the credit for rebooking a flight, which seems way too much, but that is not the major issue. I have contacted them multiple times, using multiple methods. I have called and I have also used their online chat. My girlfriend has also contacted them, since we are trying to rebook a flight and we keep getting differences each time we contact them.

We have been told that we need to book by a different date in which my email tells me, and their explanation is that the email has a mistake in it. If I were to make a mistake I would have to honor that mistake, yet they will not. We have also been told a different time that we need to spend a minimum of $1400, not including the $300 per person charge they are going to take from me to rebook. Another time, we were told that the flight has to be outside of the US, which is fine, yet when I try to book it from BWI to Toronto, I am told that it can only be to the country to which the original tickets were for, yet nowhere in my cancellation email does it state that. The only explanation I got for that one is, it is subject to availability. Below, I have copied and pasted my cancellation email that I received:

Also, we did purchase the cancellation insurance, which is a scam. You have to go through more hoops with a completely different company. If you for some reason decide to use OneTravel, do not buy the cancellation insurance, it will not do anything for you, except take money out of your wallet. All I want to do is just use my money that they have to rebook a flight, on the days that fall within the time frame they stated that I can book by (8/19/2017), to a destination outside the US with Air Canada. I just never thought it would be this difficult. I feel that it is made this difficult so you will not use the credit and they will make money from you for free.

This company is crooked and does not care about its customers. Its customer service will give you the runaround until you get so frustrated that you want to give up. Do yourself a favor and use a different company like Orbitz, Priceline, or Hotwire. I have not had any problems with them like I have had with OneTravel.

I purchased a round trip ticket from Atlanta (leaving on 2/25/2017, via Houston-USA, Manchester-England) to Singapore (returning on 3/2/2017 via Seoul-S. Korea, Los Angeles-USA). I started in the morning of 2/25/2016 trying to check in with United Airlines for a connecting flight to Houston leaving at 14:24 p.m. Got a message that flight was cancelled. I went to Delta Airlines website and saw that I was put down on flight 2204 to Houston leaving at 15:05. Tried to check in, Delta won't let me. Called Delta. They said they have no control over tickets to call the travel company. Called One Travel that had me on hold about an hour while communicating with United Airlines. They came back saying there is nothing they can do and send me back to Delta.

Delta send me to Singapore Airlines that confirmed the cancellation and offered me the next day flight. I told them going for a 2 days workshop and cannot miss the entire first day. I offered to purchase the Delta segment from Atlanta to Houston, no positive answer. Called Delta supervisor, explained the situation and purchased myself the ticket to Houston ($296), assuming that I will be reimbursed after trip completion. Delta supervisor call me back around 1:15 pm 2/25, on my way to the airport. She told me she finally got a hold of the supervisor of the travel company and she said Delta also cancelled my return from Los Angeles to Atlanta apparently because One Travel cancelled it. She said to call One Travel from Singapore so they can fix it but she also said that One Travel got a lower class ticket after cancelling the previous one, probably to save money.

Arrived in Singapore on 2/27/2017 and luggage got lost. Received luggage on 2/28 afternoon, after multiple calls to Singapore airlines. On 3/1/2017 I started calling (from Singapore), Singapore airline to upgrade my return ticket and confirm LA segment. Was told I cannot do it because of a lower class ticket purchased by the travel agency. Called Delta to confirm flight from Los Angeles to Atlanta and was told that they cannot confirm my booking but only 4 hours before the flight. All this because of a lower booking class ticket purchased by One Travel to save money. I had to take the chance and fly back to LA not knowing if I have a return ticket to Atlanta, or not.

Upon returning to Atlanta I requested from One Travel reimbursement for my Atlanta-Houston trip and also for lowering my booking class ticket. After multiple calls they referred me to Suzanne **, from CheapOair that promised to collect the fee from the airline (charging $25.00) and requested submission of all documents that were provided on 3/13/2017. They reimbursed some booking fee of $50.00. As of today I did not receive full reimbursement (except the booking fees) from either One Travel, or Singapore Airlines (for the lost luggage after faxing a baggage claim request on 3/4/2017). I am still here waiting and hope will get a response.

They double charge you if you want to change your ticket, they will double charge you without telling you over the phone, and they will still charge you for changing and charge you higher than the regular price for the new ticket. Got into the ugliest service with this company. Had to call 4 time to get my itinerary changed back to normal waiting times (not 28 hours for a single layover). When calling the third time to find out if they took care of the change I got the answer that the airline is not working during the day (Pacific time) so I have to call in 4 day to check again if they were able to confirm the ticket... Insane - the ticket was purchased 7 months ago and confirmed. In just 2 weeks before the flight back they are telling me that they don't have the confirmation for me and are replying with the "excuse" that the airline is not working during the pacific daytime. I had to "fight" with them for a week to get the ticket confirmed with just 7 days before the flight back... Ohh yes and something with a flavor at the end... For some reason all their Indian call center personnel have English names, really?

Crooks. Thieves. Scum. I fell for the oldest dishonest trick on the internet. I Googled the name of the airline company I wanted to purchase a ticket from. I wanted www.mokuleleairlines.com. When I got the list from Google, I clicked on the very first link which happened NOT to be the link for the airline's official website, but a OneTravel link that was disguised with the name of the airline company I wanted (www.mokulele-airlines.onetravel.com). Long story short, I ended paying $40 (28% more) through OneTravel. All this time I thought I was making my transaction on the Mokulele Airlines official website.

OneTravel's website advertised "24 hour cancellations", leading me to believe it was going to be free had I have to cancel. When I noticed I felt like an idiot, I called to cancel, but they wanted a $50 cancellation fee. (The fine print that I had not read before buying my tickets says that cancellations within four hours get a coupon for another purchase through OneTravel, and between 4 and 24 hours, the cancellation fee is $50). By the way, when you call customer service, they answer as "Cheapoair", so I bet you Cheapoair.com is another bull crap third party with crooks trying to steal from you.

The site takes my credit card information and states that I will get a confirmation from American Airlines for the ticket I just booked. I never received a confirmation email from American Airlines. I receive my travel itinerary two days prior to my travel and check the details. It tells me for baggage that I can check 1 bag "free" and have a "free" carry on.

When I get to the counter American Airlines says my one bag will be $25 dollars. Then they book my connecting flight in Charlotte, NC 30 minutes apart from the time we landed, except for our flight got held up at the gate so we had to wait and depart by steps and then walk to get inside the terminal and my gate was completely on the opposite end. When I arrived at the gate stated on the ticket, the gate was changed and by the time I arrived at the other concourse they had boarded and close the door. With Delta, I get the notifications via text and email IMMEDIATELY. OneTravel also charged my card an additional $24 for I guess using their site. I will never use OneTravel again, I'm running back to Delta and will gladly pay the ticket price. American Airlines was not great on service anyway!

Like many other consumers are asking here why this company is even allowed to exist or continue to do such a fraud business. What they are doing is a scam to honest consumers who are looking for a decent air ticket. And guess what they take advantage out of that.

My experience started when we booked an air ticket online (ONETRAVEL) to Mexico going thru Canada as a transit for couple hours and I called ahead of time if everything was fine and they said "you are good to go and well set for the trip" without mentioning that we needed a transit Visa to Canada. After we went to the airport the airline agent said "these people from ONETRAVEL are crook and their only goal is to sell you to the ticket online in anyway they can, so call them and let them know it is illegal to sell air tickets to passengers who are going to Mexico transiting thru Canada for couple hours without informing them that they need a transit visa."

I did talk to them 3 hours before the flight and they said at that time "sorry and we apologize for the inconvenience and we will either refund it or get you a voucher for your next trip". I have been waiting for three weeks after not answering phone calls and e-mails. I do not know what their shady billing department is ALL ABOUT? I finally got an e-mail saying sorry the airline declined for refund. Anyway, I will dispute the charges with my credit card because I consider this kind of business as a scam and fraud. Obviously very stressed, I was able to get a wifi signal at a restaurant and get in contact with One Travel customer service representatives, who told me that my credit card had not been able to be charged, but it was no problem, I could simply buy a ticket direct from the airline there at the airport! I had not received any email or notification whatsoever that my payment had not been successful, and therefore had no idea that I was not booked onto this flight.

Looking back, the only thing I can see is that the booking confirmation email had 'pending' in the Eticket number box. So I then spend the next 10 hours in the airport attempting to find and book a reasonably priced flight to my destination, which ended up being 50% more expensive than the flight I had originally booked months earlier (at least I believed I had booked it, considering I received an email titled "booking confirmation"). This was the poorest customer service I have received from any kind of travel booking company, leaving me in a vulnerable situation in a foreign country with no flight. I feel sorry for my brother because NOW he has to travel ALONE. I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND OneTravel to anybody!!! I work on an International School with almost 1,000 students and all my co-workers were happy for me, now they are mad and telling me that is not fair. These are agencies that just care about making money!!! They are NOT COMPASSIONATE at all. They don't even deserve one star, THEY DESERVE 1/4 Star but I don't have the option. Worst online ticket purchase EVER: Advise to my friends... Never buy tickets or services from this company. I bought a ticket from OneTravel, but then had a problem and was always receiving emails from CheapOair https://www.facebook.com/cheapoair/, https://www.onetravel.com. The thing is they had a problem with my payment method (credit card that works for everything except their site) and sent me an email about that asking to get in contact either by email or telephone. Because I was traveling I sent them an email about this including other phones where they could contact me... After my email I received a ticket asking not to purchase other flights because my tickets MIGHT have been issued and they were not going to reimburse the money. Ok, I was fine with that since I had no reply to my email from them about payment problems.

After that, 2 days before the trip, I received an email from them saying that the ticket was CANCELED AT MY REQUEST!!! I called to let them know that I contacted them by email with no reply and they offered a ticket. Some 320 dollars more expensive or similar prices for OTHER DATES... I had to buy similar flights in another website at 300 dollars more than the original reservation and sent them an email complaining and asking them to take responsibility of this since they asked me to get in contact by email or phone (as stated in their email), I did do so by email and THEY NEVER ANSWERED...

I had two supervisors getting in contact by email and phone telling me they were going to review the situation until one day. They stopped answering emails and it is impossible to contact those supervisors by phone. If I try their phone number, I get CS agents that know nothing about this. So, as much as I buy a lot of air tickets, reserve hotels, etc... Will stay away from ONETRAVEL and CHEAPOAIR and will do as much as possible so others do not have this terrible experience. They do not even mind giving you and answer on this claim... #worstservice #Cheapoair #Onetravel

We did talk to them and they said "we will check the recording & we will call you back." And they gave us the day they will call us. No one called and then we called back and they repeat the audio the they we were asking price & everything. We will never buy a ticket from this site. It seems like they were gang bangers and prostitutes. There was 3 cars with broken windows. I had $3,000 dollar wedding rings and $1,000 cash and paper work. The hotel was trashed. So I look at the reviews and they were the worst. So I called back just to get another room. They said they have to cancel and refund my money in 14 days. Plus they have to re-book and pay again after they took $280 dollars. So now I have to wait for refund and pay another $300. I've called and called and talked to 10 people of all departments and they give me runarounds. My experience...do not travel with OneTravel or CheapAir. It's the same company out of New York. It's been 16 days and still no refund yet so I am going direct to corporate.

We finally came up with Virgin Atlantic tickets - though we had to make a stop that we wanted to avoid along the way. We were thrilled to fly Virgin Atlantic. Many of the airlines offer poor service and aren't accommodating to our child with special needs. Virgin has been one of the few exceptions. After booking the flights, we called Virgin to make arrangements for travel with our special needs traveler. Much to our horror, we discovered that the flights sold to us are Virgin Atlantic "operating" as Delta which is code for we are really flying Delta. What??? How does that happen? To sell a ticket on a flight masquerading as another airline entirely? 3 of our 4 flights are apparently set up this way. We are trying to follow up with this questionable practice.

I needed to purchase a one way ticket for my son, age 14-1/2. Given the rules of different airlines, this had to be done by telephone. I had the base ticket price from a normal internet search in front of me, then called OneTravel to make the purchase. They charged an extra $93 they could not give me a clear reason for, but as I say, I had to purchase by telephone. At the airport I found that since he was not 15 he could not change terminals from his first to second flight - so I needed to fly with him - a last minute $380 ticket for myself. Then for the second flight we had not properly been charged the $125 unaccompanied minor fee so we paid this in transit. Thus in total I paid $978 for my son to come home for freshman orientation rather than $380 if I had the ability to purchase his ticket normally.

I am angry at myself for staying on the phone more than an hour with the woman from OneTravel in India to complete the purchase rather than hanging up and purchasing his ticket directly from the airline - who obviously would have been better informed about the rules. The woman I spoke with repeatedly tried to tell me I was paying too much for the ticket and needed to have him fly through a bigger airport which would have left him with a 20-minute layover to change flights. Now that would have been an added nightmare! At least I was there to sort things out with the airline people during his layover. Can you imagine if he had been younger and on his own? In the end I sorted things out on my own, but the airline people were quite disgusted by the negligence of OneTravel to have sold us this inflated and wrong-headed ticket. They kept muttering why didn't the travel agency read the rules?

Since they were not able to make this happen, they cancelled her tickets. But when I looked in her account, they still took the money.

I called the company and asked why did they take her money if they cancelled the tickets. They said they didn't take the money. According to them Kenya Air took the money and we were told to get the money from Kenya Air. When I asked them for contact information, they said they didn't have any -- no phone number and no email address.

I asked why it would take so long, the bank told me that OneTravel is refuting the charges! Really? First call I made they told me it would be $2.000,00 to change my flight that was bought for $850. I called back later to double check with another person because I could not believe that was right, and since they only have ONE PERSON working per day, that was my only option.

Now they say they can't change my flight. They say the company doesn't allow it (HOW?!), I called the company twice and they confirmed me it was up to Onetravel to make the change. They have no excuse, they just say the company is denying it even when I spoke to the company already. I asked to speak with a manager and they said THERE IS NO MANAGER. I asked to speak with someone above him and he said he would transfer me to customer services, and then HUNG UP ON ME. ** scam running from India. I wish there was a way to shut this company down. How come so many people have being scammed by them and NOTHING HAPPENS?

Endless time spent waiting on hold to get simple information. Then they told me I'd have to contact the airline, and it was Expedia's number, and of course Expedia didn't know anything about the matter. All customer service will be through an Indian call center, and they'll try to sell you a car rental or hotel room. My ticket, which supposedly came with cancellation insurance, was non-refundable AND non-changeable without a fee the size of the ticket! The "customer service" will hang up on you, and refer you to the airline for answers, because THEY don't speak Spanish! I SO wish I had read this page before I bought... oh well. Incidentally, Sky Airlines has a non-working website, doesn't return or respond to emails, has maybe one person answering the phone, and has a local Chilean phone number. And they don't speak English. I don't even know if they're a real airline.

Started reading the reviews on this company and WOW. All of the reviews are correct. My flight was canceled and needed to be home for a dr appointment on that Friday. So I figured I would leave on a Wednesday to be home in time. My flight was canceled. So as I am waiting in line for a new flight I was told there was not a flight out of Tampa Florida to Detroit Michigan until late Friday night. So I ended up going to Orlando Florida and getting a flight back home on Thursday night.

So I have called to get a refund on my ticket thru these people and now they want a letter from my Dr that said I had to be back here to see him. Not only a letter but a book that contains my medical condition. Advised that is not their business, she advised me that I won't get a refund for anything. Advised I would get a attorney, she said just said "fine," they still need my medical records. Advised I also would not fly through them again with insurance again didn't seem to mind. Really are these people a joke or what? Now why people write bad reviews on them. Just a bad experience with the insurance company for my first time I have ever flown.

One of the worst experiences I have had talking to their customer service. Every agent transfers you to other agent and none of them will solve the problem. This all started when I had to cancel my reservation last year and after fighting almost a month they gave me the credit of $2500 and told me to book my new reservation within 1 yr and "use your credit." When I called them to make a new reservation, they hung up on me 3 times, and for the 4th time, they said "you will have to pay a difference of $1200 on top of the existing credit of $2500."

When I check on their website, the actual price of the ticket is $1750. Yes, they were charging me $2000 more. There is no way you can trust on these agents on what they were saying. They have got, TOM DICK and HARRY sitting in Mumbai or Delhi saying they are talking from New York, **. I have lost my $2500 and every hope of them giving me a decent ticket. If you want to stay away from travel difficulties, book directly thru airlines or use American Trusted Website to make any type of bookings.

I was shopping to buy an airline ticket for my mom from India, HYD to Newark in Expedia.com. That site compared prices with various websites. I thought I got a good deal in Etihad for my mom. It happened through OneTravel. I was not suspicious, as it is through Expedia. But after paying $1,315 for my mom's ticket they gave us fraud confirmation number. When my mom called Etihad Airlines, they said no reservation was made on her name. When I called OneTravel from NJ, those guys said, I need to pay more for them to send us the e-ticket. They didn't say this when I initially book the ticket. Then I got suspicious and went and read reviews. Very bad reviews. They are frauds. I realized this after 2 days. By then they charged my credit card. I immediately called dispute department of my credit card and disputed the charges. Now those travel agent is after me. I STOPPED PICKING UP HIS CALLS. DON'T TRUST THEM. THEY ARE FRAUDS.

Horrible experience. I paid $51 extra for insurance protection. When I tried to cancel or change my flight a couple minutes after I booked it, they told me that I was unable to do it. What is the point of paying the $51 of travel protection? It clearly says "Trip Cancellation" before you book it.

So... I never write this sort of reviews BUT given what happened today I must!! This is a scam and those of us complaining here are not just a bunch of disgruntled customers but actually Fraud Victims; my story goes like everybody else's... Flight booked, confirmation received... BUT then hell begins. See all other reviews. Had to curse and swear to get my tickets cancelled without penalty. When I actually woke up was when during one of about 5-6 "verification calls" they started to ask me questions that are specific to those used as banking/credit card security questions. Wow! And this was after they managed to trick me into even sending them a photo of my credit card front and back.

Well after the outright "phishing" for security details related to my card account I did pull out... But bear in mind that Payment Fraud Prevention is my actual profession!!!??? So man are these guys clever. Now luckily due to my profession I have access to some research tools which indeed confirms that this is indeed… A ONE MAN BUSINESS RAN FROM INDIA by a well-known criminal. Basically their idea is NOT to sell airline tickets. The setup is merely a front TO PHISH FOR PERSONAL DETAILS!!! This is not a travel agency at all. The guy runs several other online stores in all different fields JUST FOR PHISHING! Avoid at any price. And yes I am confident to reveal the above facts. Thanks to the intel I have been able to dig up as a fraud professional myself. Again even I fell for it but hey ho…

Purchase tickets in mid-June for traveling in August. Called them in late July for seat assignments but was told the reservations was canceled by the airline 2 days after booking (I was charged the same day for the ticket and their service commons)! They said their support team going to fix it immediately. After one week and spending hours with them, nothing done! Finally dispute the charges and rebook different flight (higher price since the time was closer to departure). DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I have used OneTravel for a couple of years. This year I have had one problem after the other- mainly due to the service center. The staff, which is obviously based in India, does not understand name spellings, and it appears English. It caused me to have a cancelled hotel booking for no obvious reason and another booked under my middle initial.
