I just bought a tickets from them, and after I went to actual airline website and I found that ticket is a hundred dollar less than what they charged me. I understand fees but a hundred dollar is a bit too much. This is on top of the taxes and fees charged by the airline. Call them and try to reason with them. I got disrespected and passed around from one rep to other for awhile before they say, "Nothing we can do." I try to cancel, it's just been a few hours since I got the tickets, usually it's free within 24 hours but not with guys, if not the fees shouldn't be 100 usd, I finally was able to get 100 back. That's what they say after a few hours but a book another flight with the same time where I got extra charge for another 211 and from now on go straight to the airline itself. Don't worth it getting charged that much extra for no apparent service provided. Don't seem fair at all.

Flight to London and return - May 10 was our travel date. After making the booking I saw OneTravel had used my credit card to charge another amount just under one hundred dollars. When I dismally got through to them they said they made a mistake on the price thus the extra charge. It took me days to get a partial refund. They are not trustworthy and extremely hard to understand and tricky with their sales add insult. I will never use them again. It was the worst experience I have had in twenty years of traveling by air.

I am livid after the experience my mother and I just had. We booked our flights back in January to go to Oslo for one day and night, and then from there to go to our family in Gdańsk Poland (sick grandparents, other people we haven’t seen in a long time, etc etc etc). We get to the airport to check in for our 7 pm flight and it turns out our flight already left at 4???? We immediately call and they try to guilt us and make it seem like they sent us an email to let us know that our flight time had changed (they hadn’t, the last email they sent was the day prior sending us our itinerary, which still even now says 7 pm).

We spent over 3 hours on the phone with them, kept being put on hold and told that not only would the call be charged to us but that we would have to pay extra for a one way flight to Europe. We finally ended up having to pay for a flight to Copenhagen, then to Oslo, on top of that we had to cancel our previous hotel plans in Oslo and pay for a new one since otherwise we would be stuck in Oslo airport for over an entire night. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever witnessed and if they continue to refuse to pay for all the extra money we had to spend in the last few hours, they absolutely will be hearing from my lawyer very soon. My mother has epilepsy and the stress from this situation made her feel ill.

Recently, my wife needed to return to Ukraine, due a family health emergency. I booked and paid for her ticket, that left Christchurch NZ, with a transit layover in Sydney Australia, of 3.30 hours. OneTravel, site, did not state or list that citizens from Ukraine and some other countries require a transit visa, to pass through Australia. This requirement is listed on their site for all other countries, where a transit visa is required. At the Christchurch airport, my wife was refused passage, because she did not have this travel visa. The airline was quite within its right to refuse her, however, to obtain an Australian transit visa, an application must be made to a commercial agency in Auckland NZ, that is only open, Monday to Friday 9 to 5.

The process to be issued a transit visa, takes 7 to 10 working days, plus postage time, and attracts a charge for this service. - ( The Australian government states that a transit visa can be obtain through their embassy free, but again takes 7 to 10 working days, plus postage time. I attempted to contact up to 10 advertised 24/7 emergency response numbers for OneTravel booking agency -- but everyone had the same recorded message - "nobody is availiable to take your call, so please call back another time" -or- "The number you are trying to reach is dis-connected, please check the number and try again." So my wife could not travel. During my mounting frustration, I found an email address, to direct emergency questions to, for assistance to, but, it took 3 days to get a response.

The airline that was the on-going travel from Sydney Australia to Ukraine, did list a emergency telephone number to contact, and when I explained the problem my wife was experiencing, they noted that she would not be able to proceed with their airline. I had previously advised the NZ section of the travel, Virgin airlines, that obviously my wife's ticket must be cancelled. I also sent an email to the on-going airline "Qatar airlines" as a follow up to the cancellation. I also sent an email to OneTravel booking agency confirming the cancellation of my wife's ticket, caused by the un-advertised travel restrictions. All these cancelation advices were done within 24 hours of my wife's travel being denied. What followed was for a period of over 30 odd days, after I advised I would cancel the visa credit card charges, was a large number of "please be patient and don't cancel the debit emails, we are working on a solution to your problem".

At the end of this period, and after I had received 2 telephone calls - (they stated they had attempted to make 5 others) - I was informed, that "due to the time delays, you took to notify us of the cancellations, we believe the airlines, may not issue you with a full refund." Then came the 2nd call, in which they stated, " your refund will be only approx 50% of what you paid, but be advised this refund may take up to 2 billing cycles for us to process." It was OneTravel booking agency that caused the problem by not advertising of transit visa requirements, and it was their delays, that resulted in a refund, not being able to given in full. 2 months after the intended travel by my wife, I received a 50% refund.

Both Visa inc, and my bank, ANZ, that advertise a resolution, will be resolved within 20 working days, for credit card disputes, also failed to give any customer assistance, towards the refund, even though, they were kept totally informed of the "fiasco" by OneTravel booking agency, at all times. Conversations I have had with other independent travel agencies, say, that OneTravel booking agency is well known for defrauding travelers, but, the credit card companies, and the banks, do absolutely nothing, about it. Many airline travelers, are can also be subjected to ticket cancellation, immediately at departure time because the airlines have previously cancelled their tickets with One Travel booking agency, due the price that OneTravel charged, cannot be honoured by the airline, as it is financially un-viable for the airline to do so. They refer to OneTravel booking agency as --- "a scam ". (I cannot help but agree, as this communique so explains).

My family and I planned a nice Europe vacation for this summer, and decided to buy the cheap flights that OneTravel offered for our flight back home from Venice. We booked our flight and seats 5 months before the scheduled flight, and thought all was well until we received an email 1 month before saying that our flight was canceled. Confused and upset, we called the service and politely asked for a refund. However, we realized that this company tried to confuse us with the amount we paid, as they offered to refund and a way lower amount than what we paid for. We realized what they were doing, and yelled at the employee, Christina, for not offering the proper amount given. Feeding off of your confusion, this company scams customers by canceling their flights, and refunding at a lower amount that what you pay for. Never again will I use this service.

I have purchased a round trip premium economy airplane tickets for overseas three months before my departure April 16th 2018 from a internet travel agency called OneTravel. My Southwest Airline connecting was delayed and I missed my overseas flight at that day. When I called the OneTravel customer service a service rep with very heavy Indian accent English right away he ask me to give him a credit card to charge $500 so I can take the next flight to overseas but, when I asked what flight or what class and do I get to have refund or at least partial refund of my airplane ticket he spoke to me the English that I really don't understand then he put me on hold for over 20 minutes until I was totally frustrated and hung up and purchased a new airplane ticket from the airline. After this incident I will never trusted the internet travel agency again. I rather purchase airplane ticket directly from the airline or local travel agency.

In looking into your concerns I find your reservation booked through us for travel between San Francisco and Hong Kong. for April. I believe that your Southwest flight may have been booked elsewhere. We show no agents opened your reservation between February 1, 2018 and today May 17,2018 when I opened the reservation. Could you possibly have contacted the airline instead of our office or is there a different booking that I should be looking at?

I placed 3 flights with this company and at the end I realized the prices did not include baggage and seats. Since I am flying with my children I wanted to be prepared, so I wanted to cancel these flights and book directly with the airline. I booked three flights more than a month away and I canceled them within three hours of paying and they charged me $100.00 to cancel the flights. $100.00!!! It is absurd and ridiculous that they would charge for a cancellation within 24 hours. I would NEVER recommend this company to my enemies let alone someone I know. You will have better luck and save money by booking direct with the airline that they are offering discounts for.

Updated on 05/30/2018: I wrote a review a couple weeks ago about my experience of them ripping me off. After I wrote the review I will say that a manager did call me and agreed to refund all of my money including the "restocking fees." While I am still not happy with the policy I do appreciate that they accommodated me and in return I wanted to revise my review. Look before you purchase. When I ordered my flights from the airline direct, the cost was about $100.00 more, but I was able to choose my seats and add my luggage, which was not as easy on the OneTravel website.

I didn't know what to do, stayed with that window, thinking that I have already exposed my card details.

1 minute later a lady with an Indian accent called from the US number, and said that she is sorry, the flight is not available anymore at this price, but I can still book the same flight for 1,200 US$ (342 US$ more!!!). Or I can fly with another airline, for cheaper, but the flight duration is longer. I asked "How it is possible that the flight was available 5 minutes ago, and now is not?" She said "The flights can change in 1 second". She still tried to sell me more expensive ticket, which I refused. 5 minutes later I booked the same flights directly on Turkish Airline for much less money than she was trying to sell to me. Nowhere on the site did it mention US funds for this Canadian air travel. My credit card was billed in US funds and I of course paid MUCH more than I would have if I had booked directly with the airline. When I asked to execute the 24 cancellation only 30 minutes after I booked the flight I was told it would be $50 per passenger to cancel. When I asked to price match, they said they said they would not match the price due to the price being Canadian - of course I would have expected the exchange rate with a fee to be considered, but no... so I am stuck with tickets that cost over $100 more per ticket than I would have paid if I had booked directly with the airline. Well my luck changed as I needed to have some surgery and it was to be done on the day after we were to fly out. Saying to myself that purchasing this insurance was a good idea. What a nightmare it turned out to be. I had to file a claim with all the documents which I did.

They only covered about half the amount I spent on the trip. I had the booking company telling me it should be 100% coverage but also had the insurance provider telling me it only covers the airfare. I had them telling me you need to get in touch with the booking company and the other telling me you need to get in touch with the insurance provider. I've been back and forth with them both for over 2 months. The last call to the booking company they told me a manager will call me back in 2 hours! It's been 2 days! Try to call there and talk to the same person, never happen! If you are buying a trip protection plan, ask them the full details of the plan and to also send you an email with the plan. Good Luck!

When dealing with this third party travel booking site, you will find the absolute cheapest air fares. BUT Beware! They will not bother to tell you that you will be paying hidden charges. I am ashamed to say that it took three vacation bookings to realize how you are not really getting what you paid them for. I was attracted to their very reasonable cancellation insurance. I suppose I never took the time to read all the fine print. I see on the blog -847 complaints about OneTravel - that the insurance they offer is not worth pointing off the agreement- as they Never honor the agreement. My first bad experience was the first airline booking with Sata Air. The four travelers paid $55 to OneTravel to book our four seats on the plane. When we checked in our seats had never been reserved and we forced to take terrible seats in the back of the aircraft. When we attempted to contact OneTravel seeking a refund, this group would never respond to our e-mails.

The next trip - in March 2018, we got apparently very good airfares through TAP Airline. However, when we checked in, we had to pay an additional $125 per checked bags ($440 each way for the four travelers) even though the information supplied by the OneTravel website regarding luggage on TAP indicated the first checked bag was free. The Tap check-in people told us the carry-ons and the first checked bag are free for normal passengers, but not for those who purchased discounted fares through a third party travel agency. They also told us that our third party ticket provider was obligated to inform us that the luggage was an additional charge; they provided us receipts for our luggage charge, so we could seek a refund from our OneTravel ticket provider. We have sent our complaint to OneTravel and they have never responded! It appears we may have to go through the court to get results or at least a response from this operator.

The other couple traveling with us, had booked a hotel for two night on our way home to extend their vacation. But early in the vacation, they experienced a medical emergency that made the vacation extension impossible. They advised OneTravel by E-Mail of their situation, cancelling the booking and asking to be refunded. OneTravel did not cancel the booking nor respond to their e-Mail. They are very frustrating to deal with- their contact phone numbers listed on the website does not work from Portugal. I hope this report will help others from being duped by this deceptive travel provider.

“SKETCHY” doesn’t even begin to describe this company!!! We had a family emergency in Puerto Rico right after Hurricane Maria. As soon as we heard the airport was re-opening we went online to book our flight. Onetravel came up with what we thought was the best price. Unfortunately we booked through them. It took us several times of putting in our credit card info to only have the next screen come up that said “that flight is no longer available”. Of course every single time it happened the price kept rising. We finally got one to go through. We THOUGHT we were good. We got our email confirmation right away only to find they changed the dates on us. Our dates were NOT flexible.

We immediately called and spoke with an agent. She told us she could change us to the correct dates for an additional $163. We asked to just cancel the flight. She told us she could cancel the flight for us but there are no refunds. So much for their “Book with confidence” slogan! You can book with confidence, they will cancel you if you need to within their 24 hours, but don’t expect them to refund your money!!!! The girl asked what we wanted to do. Our choices were cancel the flight and lose our $400+ that we already paid OR pay the $163 charge to change to the correct date.

This all happened within 16 MINUTES!!! It's not like it was the next day. It was SIXTEEN MINUTES. Oh and like others have said…Beware of their extra charges. This $450 ticket ended up costing us over $800 once they added all their fees on there. This company is a TOTAL SCAM. Don’t get sucked in. Spend the extra $50 up front from a reputable company. I booked 2 return tickets for my sister and her husband and these guys confirmed the tickets and charged my card. A few days later, the flights are canceled for no apparent reason and these guys had no shame in not even informing us. This is the worst kind of experience, I have ever seen from an online travel agency.

We booked a vacation package with OneTravel and shortly thereafter got an email stating that our credit card was declined. No way! Checked with the credit card company and card was not declined. Called OneTravel and was told that the hotel part of the package had increased $800. Do you authorize that charge? NO! We ended up checking Orbitz and it was about $30 more so we booked the vacation with them. A couple days later I find out that OneTravel charged me for the airline part of my trip. They are now trying to tell me that they cannot refund me. I thought my credit card was declined so how did that go through? They have NO idea. Luckily, I can just dispute the charges with my credit card company and show them the letter that says they declined the charges, which they didn't!

I purchased airline tickets from this company and unknowingly when I booked my flights for my ENTIRE FAMILY 6 tickets total I also agreed to a “cheaper flight option” where they will email you cheaper flights around the dates you booked to get you the lowest rate and your flight will be changed to that instead of what you originally booked and you receive an email and you must decline that alternate cheaper flight within 24 hours. I have never heard of this or was aware that was a possibility so was not checking for any email notifications for this and received several emails a day with deals they have so this email went unnoticed to me. I went to print out my airline tickets since I was supposed to be leaving in two weeks for our vacation. I then realized the date on the tickets was not the dates I had booked. Both departing and returning flights were different and I was changed to a one day flight returning the next day.

When I contacted this company and spoke to several representatives all of which barely spoke English and were very difficult to understand I was informed I unknowingly agreed to this “cheaper flight” option and that I could possibly change the dates to what I originally booked with a 200.00 change fee and the ticket difference fee which averaged in total to 5,000.00 along with what I originally paid for the tickets...

With that being said there were also no available flights for the dates I needed since we were going on a cruise in between the flights. They told me there was no possibility for a refund whatsoever even with the circumstances. I now am out 1700.00 and have no flights and I had to cancel my entire family vacation because of this which was paid for as well. This company is a scam and NO ONE SHOULD EVER GO THROUGH THEM! You will get taken advantage of and their customer service is appalling!!! I’m out so much money because of this company and just devastated as well as disgusted.

This was the most horrid experience. Their business model is BAIT AND SWITCH. You spend time picking out flights (be careful because they might have switched your dates) and then when you click on buy tickets, the price goes up $200. You call them and you get persons with heavily accented English who speak very fast. They tell you one thing and then all of a sudden they tell you something else. I found the same exact flights directly through American Airlines for more than $200 less. They are not to be trusted. Use them, if you like, to find flights but then call the airlines DIRECT!!!

It's my first time with this agency and I'd to give out warning. So far, I've heard this crook is running two traveling agencies, another one is the "Cheap..." I called to book three seats for myself and children in advance for summer out-of-country. It was seven months in advance thinking it would be cheaper. It was so hard to understand that lady on the phone. From the very first day that I paid, the tickets online would show two seats confirmed and one seat "pending." Two months had passed, They emailed me to ask if I could change the flight. I was okay with that thinking everything appeared to be the same.

Then I went on their responded email to check the new tickets from the new flight only to find that one of the seats was still "pending", except this time its email linked to the "suggested seats selections". I selected thinking it would be like other airlines that would offer these steps after payment. After clicking to select the seats, the page went on to include the selection fee right away. I was pissed so called the agency and asked why our ticket status was still "pending" and what's up with the seats.

The lady with heavy Indian Accent told me that to get it confirmed I need to pay extra $60 something. I was so angry but went on and asked of how much it would be for the cancellation fee. The lady said it would be @200 each and I was supposed to pay upfront to them right away, and then I had to wait for the refund from them for another cycle of credit card. I told her this whole ordeal was just a ripoff. She asked if I had any more questions, I said yes but I would email to them so that I could make a case later on. I emailed right away, and the answer came in another day that all of my seats were confirmed but I would need to contact the Airline myself to confirm. How about that?!! Anyway, please go somewhere else or book through your trusted agency or the airlines directly.

    Updated review: Feb. 8, 2018

On 2/3/18 I wrote a scathing review about the very disturbing ticketing purchase process with OneTravel/CheapOair. I was charged for items that were not revealed during the purchase process - routine seat selection and a service charge for booking the flight. To add insult t injury, in the two days following the purchase I got multiple emails from OneTravel alerting me that one or more of my reserved seats (for which I was charged $19.99) were no longer available and OneTravel reserved the right to assign the seats at the gate.

I also received an email alerting me to a change in my flight itinerary. The header to the email advised that I was "required to read and confirm." However, when I clicked on their link to see the revised itinerary, it would not connect through and each time resulted in a dead end, only heightening my concerns about their reliability of OneTravel. I responded to the unpleasant experience by writing the review on 2/3/18 to warn other potential passengers.

On 2/4 I was called by their customer service department to "resolve my complaints" and was refunded for the elusive "enhanced seat selection charge" of $19.99 and also refunded $20 as a gesture of good will toward the service charge. I am grateful that OneTravel did the right thing in this instance. I suggested they make all charges available to the consumer (upfront and visible) so that the consumer could be fully informed before completing the purchase process. I also alerted them to the fact that the link from their "required reading" emails about itinerary changes was not functional. I am hoping that our flights booked through OneTravel/CheapOair will not experience any additional problems and our travel will be smooth sailing from here on in.

    Original Review: Feb. 3, 2018

On Feb 2, I booked two rt tickets on United to Florida for myself and my husband through CheapOAir/OneTravel. I was prompted in the process to pick my seats, which is standard when booking flights, and I selected standard seats - no upgrades. I then bought travel insurance for $27.90 and then completed the charge to my visa card. Immediately, the ticket charge was posted to my account for the tickets (448.00). At the same time, another charge was made to my visa account for $91.80 with no description or explanation for the charges.

After several very frustrating phone calls over the next 24 hours with OneTravel "customer service" agents (not so much), all who were extremely difficult to understand and not helpful in providing any kind of explanation (annoyingly polite but clearly not there to help), I was able to finally discover on my third call today what was included in the mysterious charge of $91.80: $26.70 for travel insurance (check), $19.90 for "enhanced seat selection"!!! (I simply picked a standard seat when I was promoted to do so with no indication of a surcharge), and finally a $70 "service charge" for booking the tickets online through OneTravel! I was reminded by the agent, however, that I had been given a "generous" discount of $26.00 off the service charge so in fact I only paid $44 for the privilege of booking online with "NotSoCheapO" Air.

I tried to cancel the charge for my "enhanced seat choice" but after the agent kept me on hold for five minutes he came back to let me know that charge was non-refundable. The long and short of it is that I feel ripped off and scammed all at the same time. The only additional charge I was made aware of was the travel insurance - the other two charges were never mentioned during the selection process nor at the time of making the final purchase. I called United and they said had I made my reservation through them directly there would have been no online service charge nor a charge for routine seat selection. I have never run into such a duplicitous and fraudulent online travel service as OneTravel. They should be sued and put out of business. I would recommend that no one ever use them - I certainly will not and will urge everyone I know to avoid them like the plague.

When I spoke to a supervisor he just kept going around and around about my checking the box on their website and saying that how their company works. I did other researches, and I could book the same itinerary for $555.00, but I didn't since the prices have increased. I checked my email, and I received an email from OneTravel stating to call them because they have better "unlisted" prices. I thought that I will get even a better deal, but unfortunately, after spending a good amount of time on the phone with a representative who barely spoke English, after all, he offered me a ticket with the same itinerary, for the amount of $768.00. That's a difference in price in the amount of $255.00.

What a crook! Instead to lower the price for the previous inconveniences, he added $255.00 more. I told him that I could book the flight for $555.00 immediately, why I shroud pay $768.00? I used onetravel.com to book a discount airfare. I didn't realize, however, until after receiving my confirmation that the dates for the low-cost fare had been changed by the website. I saw their 24-hour guarantee, so immediately called their customer service desk. After over 90 minutes on hold and talking with two men who barely spoke English, I was able to cancel the flight, but then they charged me a $50 cancellation fee, and another unspecified charge of $65.94. Buyers be aware. They will change the dates on your bookings. Pay attention to small details before you complete your transaction.

I got a phone call from OneTravel customer service. The representative mentioned that he wanted to see how he could resolve the issue and listen to my recommendations on having a better customer satisfaction in the future. I was happy to hear that they are trying to improve their services. He listened to my comments and mentioned that he will relay my observations to the respective department. He also offered to refund the $50 they had charged me as an act of good faith. As I thought that I could remove my review, I told the representative that I agree to remove it. But It does not look like I can remove the review; only to add a resolution to it. So, here I am writing another one on the good customer service that I received from this representative who called and tried to rectify the problem in a fairly professional manner.

    Original Review: Dec. 24, 2017

I was looking to purchase a ticket and were surfing the net. Once I entered my information in One Travel, I got a promotional email afterward that was giving me the chance to use a $30 promo for my purchase. That was a good incentive for me to go back to their website. I found a ticket right then but was not very sure. However, as I saw that they had '24 Hours Cancellation" I decided to lock it in until the next day and then decide. Even opening the tab for more information, it did not say anything about a fee. So, I started booking. During the purchase, where it asks for the promo code, I copied/pasted the code they sent to me, but the price did not change. As it was getting very late at night, almost about 2 am, I decided to book and then call tomorrow and let them know that the promo did not work.

The next day, I realize that I booked my ticket prematurely and best to cancel within my 24-hour window and then once I know better the best date of my departure, re-purchase. When I called, the agent told me that I have to pay a $75 fine. That was the first time I heard that I have to pay. Not only no airline charges when you cancel, even HOTWIRE does not!!! I told the agent that I did not see that they charge, and he said at the bottom of the page, before you hit purchase, it mentions that the ticket can be canceled for a fee. Of course, I was not very happy about this total nonsense of a charge. I did an electronic reservation without any agent being involved and less than 10 hours afterward I was canceling my ticket and they wanted to charge me this amount for what?!

When I complained about the clear visibility of the fee being charged and it is unheard of that for a $529.00 tickets, there'll be a charge of $75.00, he put me on hold and then got back to me saying that his supervisor approved of a discount of $25.00 so they charge me $50.00! I was not really happy but I did not want to waste more of my time. I am writing this review so hopefully, other people read it and don't make the same mistake that I did. The other sites seem to be more accurate and fair.

Horrible experience. While booking a holiday trip for my family of 4, the website did not allow me to type our complete names so we decided to book and call immediately for help. The first person was rude and the second arrogant with a very thick accent and told us they had to cancel the flight tickets and pay a 300 cancelation fee and then rebook another flight at a different price. They charged around 160 fee. Better to buy directly from airline. Be aware.

First the customer service agent did not speak English fluently. At one point, he asked me, "Why are you calling"? I found the two persons I had to deal with when making necessary changes to my itinerary, to be professional, businesslike and effective. The only thing I did not like was that my fare escalated significantly with the changes. However, I understand that this may have been unavoidable because airline fares are not rational in how they are set. But at the same time, one is at the mercy of OneTravel because one is at that point a captive, i.e. having paid a non-refundable fare, it is obvious that the customer can't say "oh never mind, I'll check some other sites to see if this new fare is comparable with what I could get elsewhere". So perhaps a little more assurance that the new fare is still the best available, would be nice.

However, they forgot to mention that checked luggage was not included and that I would have to pay 80 Euro for each flight. When I called them to complain, the supervisor speaking to me was totally arrogant and not trying to resolve the problem at all. Still repeating that is airline policy. He told me that I should have checked on the TAP website before I made the booking. Well, then I would not need to book the flight with One Travel... Never ever use them again.

My husband and I decided to use OneTravel.com to buy inter island tickets from Tahiti (PPT) to Bora Bora (BOB). We started the purchase in Sep 2017 and the trip is in Feb 2018. For each segment of the purchase we took screenshots. Throughout the whole purchase the departure and arrival were correct. However, as soon as we hit confirm, Onetravel.com changed the arrival destination.

I have screenshots that show that my travel is confirmed from PPT-BOB. However, when the confirmation email was sent to us the flight had been changed to PPT-RFT (Raiatea) which is a completely different island. It is not what was purchased. Then they advertise free cancelation within 24 hours. Right away we called and were in the phone for 45 minutes with them and they refused to cancel the transaction and told us they would charge us to fix the flight destination... Which they screwed up... Or they would charge us a cancellation fee!

Then we disputed the transaction through CHASE and the bank says that there is nothing they can do because the company has a NO REFUND policy and that they cannot give us money back on a service we already received... WHAT THE HELL!!! First of all NO REFUND policy is good if you have been given what you bought to begin with and we have not. Second the trip is in Feb 2018, so how have we already received the service? This company does not even deserve a 1 star. If I could give them a 0 star I would. I am not happy at all with this company.

This trip was for our 18th anniversary. It was suppose to be fun and this company so far has turned it into the trip from Hell. The stress of trying to figure out how to get where we need to go for the hotels we have reserved is unbelievable. I do not know why this company is allowed to operate. I am adding the screenshots in sequence. At the top of each screenshot you will see the time it was taken. You will see that even after the confirmation was sent it said PPT-BOB... Right up to where it asked us to pick our seats. Then the flight was changed after we purchased the flight... I do not have the money to pay an attorney but if it is free then sure have them call.

Long story short, the one thing that I’ve been looking forward to as the year comes to an end, was a family vacation. While online I booked my Flight on Tuesday, December 5 to travel December 17 and return on December 22. It wasn’t until I received the itinerary that I realized my flight was booked for December 17-December 19. I immediately called them to fix the issue. All I needed was to change my returning flight to December 22. I talked to one gentleman who told me, “we didn’t make a mistake, you did, so now you have to pay an additional $300+ to change your flight”. Another gentleman said, “why don’t I just cancel your flight, wait 7-10 days for the money to be placed back on your card and try again”.

After dealing with very poor customer service and horrible attitudes, I finally was able to speak with a manager. The manager “tried”, but his suggestion was not helpful at all (being that I used money to purchase the tickets and would not be paid again until that Friday). He then tells me, "You have 48 hrs to make any changes." I also purchased the travel insurance that came with it, but that wasn’t even useful. I called American Airlines, they couldn’t switch my ticket because it was done with this third party system OneTravel.

All I can say is never again!!! I will always book my flight with a reliable website (i.e. American Airlines, Delta, etc). Not only are they a third party system, but they have horrible attitudes across the board. I never write reviews on companies, but I just want to warn someone else before you make the same mistake I did. Never book with them, NEVER BOOK WITH ONE TRAVEL, BOOK YOUR FLIGHT DIRECTLY WITH THE AIRLINE OR A MORE TRUSTWORTHY WEBSITE! I am honestly livid and disturb by the poor quality of service OneTravel displayed.

We ended up buying tickets on another airline to connect to the rest of our reservations. Six weeks and several communications later, OneTravel actually asked us to call One of the airlines they had bought our tickets with. Their customer service appears to be in India. In each communication, the response is the same: give us 3 to 5 business days.

I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told one would call within 24 hours. More than a week later I got a callback from the supervisor's desk. OneTravel has basically refused to refund us until they get a refund from the airline they bought the ticket from which is not even the airline with whom the flight was apparently canceled. So we are still out $1200 and OneTravel does not seem to be concerned about customer satisfaction at all. I will drive before I book a flight with OneTravel again.

Booked ticket from Sofia, BG to Chicago, USA 3 months ahead of time. Two weeks prior to travel, they sent me an email (no phone call) that my ticket was canceled by the airline Air Berlin. Because of this, I incurred a premium charge of nearly $200 on top of the original ticket price as I was forced to rebook with another airline. OneTravel.com did not assume responsibility and only refunded me the original ticket amount.

About 3 weeks later, I through my poor judgment booked with them again and after providing my credit card info and receiving a confirmation email, didn't think about it again, for a flight the next day. OneTravel.com then sent an email stating that they needed to speak to me. I called them and upon answering their questions, was told the ticket was confirmed. After not seeing another email, I got concerned and called them, at which time, they told me that the ticket wasn't issued and now there was a premium of $67.21 to pay in order to get the ticket. I was told I can get credit for a year, but will have to use the four tickets for the same people. Not satisfied at all.

OneTravel has been very good at follow up on our January flights. Our only complaint rests with the airline's flight changes that impact us. Longer wait times at airports for connecting flights. Also, an early departure from Orlando, Florida to San Francisco is changed to an ungodly time of 615 a.m. While I don't blame you for these changes, we are just not happy to leave home at 315 a.m.

Not to mention they charged the 100.00 on the spot however I still haven't received a refund. This is how this company treats the military... Also American Airlines was no help because it was booked with a 3rd party. Don't use this company stick with Skyscanner or Expedia or the airline itself.

I am writing this review to warn people to not use OneTravel to book flights, regardless of how good of a deal it may appear. The booking process actually went smooth and gave us the correct flight dates that I submitted. The first issue was that OneTravel has a feature that allows you to reserve specific seats on a flight. It shows a seating chart grid and you can select a seat(s) to reserve. I was still debating on if I wanted to reserve seats and clicked on four total seats (for two different legs) and figured I would see how much it costs and decide from there. Well, there was no "Checkout" or "Review Order" page. It automatically charged me using my PayPal information the site had conveniently saved. That was shady to say the least. It was an extra $115, but I decided to let it go.

And then it seemed every few weeks prior to our trip I would get an email from OneTravel saying the flight times had changed, and that I pretty much had to accept these changes or I would lose these tickets and not get a refund. The real stress occurred when we arrived at Prague airport to begin our flight path back home. The airport had no record of our flight reservations for the first leg, only for the second and third legs of our path home. It made no sense how the airport only received part of the three-flight reservation from OneTravel. I desperately showed the staff member an email with our reservation and ticket numbers via OneTravel to no avail, and then could not get in touch with OneTravel on the phone.

The Prague airport staff saved the day and worked us into that first flight after everyone else had received boarding tickets, and we were able to make the rest of our connections. But sitting in a foreign airport with no flight reservation and no sense of what was going on was extremely stressful. When I tried to contact OneTravel after the fact, I repeatedly brought this up to multiple OneTravel agents who either dodged my questions or refused to acknowledge what I was trying to convey. To add to the insult, none of the flights had the seat reservations that I paid $115 for through OneTravel. I think OneTravel knew they screwed up because before I even asked they gave me a "partial refund" for less than a fourth of the $115.

I continually asked how I could only get a partial refund when they did not provide any of the seat reservation service and if not for the kind people at Prague airport we would have been stranded in a foreign country with no way to get home other than completely re-booking a new flight. OneTravel seems to be okay when everything goes to plan. But based on my experiences and what I am reading, you are screwed if anything needs to be changed or if a mistake occurs that needs to be corrected. They use customer service agents who seem to have no communication pathway to upper management and speak poor English, and I'm sure they do that on purpose to generate a buffer between them and the massive amounts of complaints. Even if the flights are super cheap, please don't get cute. Book through the airline directly, or a reputable site such as Expedia or Travelocity.

Travel one has called me and rectified the situation. It turns out that one of my tickets were refundable to which they promised a refund and they offered me a credit to the second half of my ticket which I can live with. I just wanted to be treated like a person and be given some sort of solution and customer service and I got that.

    Original Review: Oct. 18, 2017

I purchased a ticket to go to my home country DOMINICA for Christmas to surprise my mom on 9/13/2017 through OneTravel. Literally 5 days later Dominica was directly hit by Maria a CAT 5 hurricane and was completely destroyed. My mom lost her roof and then her entire house during the storm. Dominica was left 90% damaged with not a leaf left on a tree, and 95% of roofs gone. Since then I have sent for my mom to come up to Florida and live with me since she is now HOMELESS. I do not intend to spend Christmas home anymore since I NOW HAVE NO HOME IN DOMINICA. I reached out to OneTravel to explain this situation to see how they could assist and their response was that my ticket was NON REFUNDABLE and they don't care or acknowledge natural disasters! They didn't offer me a credit, they didn't apologize, they expressed no sympathy for what my family and I are going through.

I asked to speak with a manager and I was hung up on. Also the ticket I purchased through them also takes me through San Juan who was ALSO DIRECTLY HIT by the hurricane and in the process of rebuilding and recovering. I then decided to call my bank and asked if I was able to charge back this purchase due to the circumstances and they were willing to assist. YESTERDAY I received a VERY NASTY call from a claim specialist from ONE TRAVEL. I explained the situation almost in tears as this is truly a devastating experience for my family and I. And without even apologizing she begins to tell me how I am going to lose this chargeback because they see no proof or evidence and this purchase is non-refundable. I pleaded with her, told her I have no home to go to, she's not even giving me a second option. She's just flat out telling me I have to keep this ticket.

She told me that One Travel has done all they can to help the victims of Hurricane Irma (which BTW I also experienced because I live in Miami, FL). I quickly corrected her and said my ticket is from San Juan to Dominica BOTH places affected by Hurricane Maria and I found it extremely insensitive and rude what she was saying to me. In cases like that a company needs to have certain procedures in place to help those who have lost everything and don't even get me started on customer service. She got me so angry yesterday I had to leave work early shaking and crying.

I have never experienced a hurricane like this and I have also never been treated like this in my life. Something has to be done about the fact that these companies are so money hungry that they will deal with people this way in a time of need like this. And what airline company DOES NOT ACKNOWLEDGE NATURAL DISASTERS... smh. Shame on you! I will NEVER be using your services again!!!

I put my airline name and put in what I wanted, price seemed good so clicked and then realized US dollars. Thought "oh no", I live 5 miles from my airline in Canada. Why would I pay US funds? Immediately called my bank to cancel before it went through my acct. They suggested changing my card #, which I did. Didn't think anymore about it. I later had my card put online and noticed the amount in US funds. Never having rec'd an itinerary, couldn't figure out who to call.

Called my airline who asked several questions, got permission to tell me who I was dealing with. It was OneTravel. Called them, was sent to 3 different departments, the last one in Ukraine. Personnel were very polite. One gentleman gave me my itinerary. Will was needed. Was told the appropriate dept would contact me next week. Called my bank with info. They said wait until end of week and if no call they would investigate. No call! Investigation came back with no results in my favor.

Tried to change dates with OneTravel, but they wanted to charge over $300. US. They hadn't put our names in properly and wanted to charge $150. US for that. Finally we called our airline, who weren't worried about the names. We decided we had to take the trip or lose our money. They basically charged us for nothing. Could have saved $600 US by calling my airline. You can't cancel your flight with OneTravel, and get charged for any change, yours or theirs. SCAMMERS. Someone getting rich doing nothing for you. It was even charged at a different time. Then when we needed a simple name change... it was absolute hell. Call the airline directly for fights. It's the same deals. I will be going to News networks & social media. I booked a flight for departure from Orlando, FL on Tues. 11/21/17 @ 8:10a to Philadelphia, PA with an arrival time of 10:33a. My return date was booked for Sun. 11/26/17 @ 6:15a & returning to Orlando approximately 8:45. Now this was made more than 2 mos in advance. On the morning of Sat. 10/14/17 around 10 am, my boyfriend asks, "honey, when are you leaving for Philadelphia again?" My response was "huum, let me check my confirmation!" So going into my saved emails, I opened for the first time my Booking Confirmation from One Travel. "What!" I said in shock. "How did this happen? I need to call right now & get this straight!"

To make a long story short & after several 5-10 min holds & tickets are non refundable, I threatened to go to social media & major news networks. The company called me back & offered to make changes for a $99 fee, I declined. I was put on hold again, then was quoted another fee of $45. I declined that as well & declared I am not paying for a scam you all are trying to run. After being placed on another hold, I was told someone would call me in 30 minutes. Instead I received an email stating to call them back in this matter. Another series of holds where now each rep I was speaking with was not customer service friendly. The last offer was "let me place you on hold while I work on changing the dates but there will be a charge for changing the times." Now I am here!

I immediately called OneTravel and gave them all the information they asked for. Then, they were calling my Chilean bank to verify if I am really the cardholder. Since my bank executive speaks Spanish and no one at OneTravel was speaking Spanish they could not communicate with each other. Because of that, OneTravel asked me to send them another Email (from my business Email account), indicating who I am and authorizing charging my credit card.

I sent that Email immediately but did not get any answer during several hours. Therefore, I decided to call them again and, to my unpleasant surprise, they told me that the flight is no longer available (!) and, to make it more sarcastic, they offered me an alternative flight which would have cost more than 400 US dollars (my booked flight would have cost 90 US dollars). In the end I had to buy a bus ticket in order not to get stuck. In a nutshell: OneTravel is really unprofessional, they made me lose time and my flight and only by luck I was able to get a bus ticket (which will be now a 12 hours ride instead of a 2 hours flight). Not only had we never requested a refund, but the refund was only for a portion of the total cost of $706. Not only did the email claim we were receiving a "refund" they actually charged us an ADDITIONAL $433!!! My partner called them immediately and as of the writing of this review he has been on the phone for over an hour and is STILL on hold! He has spoken to at least 4 different representatives each more incompetent than the last, was disconnected, had to repeatedly explain what happened, and still they seemed to not understand what was going on, could offer no explanation for the randomly canceled flight, why we were being charged again rather than refunded, and continued to resist giving us the full refund of over $1,140!!

He spoke specifically with a man named Garvin (or something like that) who continued to argue that we had gotten what we paid for. We did NOT purchase a flight only from Malaysia to Nepal as we have NO intention of going to Malaysia. The reason we went with OneTravel is because THEY are supposed to coordinate between the different flights, instead Garvin told us WE would need to call the airlines and figure it out! Only after my partner threatened to call his bank to cancel and refund these fraudulent charges and report OneTravel to the Better Business Bureau did we receive meager compliance.

All we want at this point is to have OUR $1,140 returned to us immediately. It's ridiculous that the flight was cancelled without warning or reason, we were then charged rather than refunded, and that now after nearly 1.5 hours on the phone with these people they still have no clue what's going on and lack the basic competence to issue a refund for a trip THEY ** up. We will NEVER use OneTravel again! TERRIBLE company! HORRIBLE customer service! And at this point I feel ready to report them to the Better Business Bureau. Got fraud!

I am writing this regarding a reimbursement for our JetBlue Flight 701 on Friday September 8 at 9:30 am from Ft. Lauderdale to LAX. Our confirmation number was **. As a result of the mandatory evacuation for Hurricane Irma in Southern Florida, my wife and I were recommended by our hotel to fly out by Thursday evening. In addition to this recommendation, we were told the last available flight out of Ft. Lauderdale would be around 8:30am Friday and were concerned our flight would be canceled, rendering us having to stay in Florida through the hurricane. We rebooked our flight to LAX for Wednesday from Jacksonville, since it was one of the only available remaining flights.

Seeing that the evacuation was a necessity, our initial agreement to being charged $272.80 for the flight change was out of having no other options at the time. However, seeing that JetBlue, whom we flew with on our new flight (JetBlue Flight 1678 and Flight 323), has made a public statement saying they would not charge for flight changes, we were hoping our charges of $272.80 would be rescinded. Thank you for considering our request. I look forward to hearing back soon.

I keep receiving emails that OneTravel cant assure me when payment will be refunded due to reasons beyond their control. This is completely unprofessional behavior, bordering on deception by a US based company & US is supposed to be the showcase of the world for professionalism, regulation and consumer protection.

Updated on 09/24/2017: I have already described my experience. It was regarding "No hope of refunds from One Travel" against canceled flight tickets despite Insurance Protection against cancellation. After sixty days of ticket cancellation, against my reminders, I started getting standard letter from OneTravel stating that they cant keep their commitment on time frame for refund and will update me fortnightly. They were regular in sending same letter - must be auto-generated, waiting for me to get exhausted to point of giving up.

I approached Nevada Consumer Affairs by email and provided details. They accepted my grievance and assigned me a complaint number. I informed OneTravel. I received 75% of USD 3126.43 that I had originally paid. I have lost big money but I am happy that 75% could be salvaged. To all those who are suffering at the hands of OneTravel - NCA is our God. Please approach them. They are sensitive and respond to emails within 24 hours.

This is the worst travel agency I ever had used. 2 months ago I booked two tickets. From today, 20 days ago they noticed me that the flight routine has changed. And what do you guys think, when new tickets came? 9 HOURS BEFORE OUR FLIGHT!!! All the time we tried to contact them and every time they just told us that will be all ok. Well it isn't!! How is possible to pack in that short time, and catch the plane?!? For all you who are looking this page to book some flight, or anything else, please just go to next agency! For your good.

I will most likely file a fraud claims through my credit card company against OneTravel. I have phone logs and emails. This is the worst experience I ever had. I will never book or even visit this site again.

I booked two tickets from Los Angeles to Barcelona on Level Airlines through OneTravel.com. Reserved seats are not included with this low-cost airline, so I went through OneTravel four months before my departure to reserve seats and paid the fee for the seats. I checked my booking on the Level Airline website a few weeks before my trip and the seat reservation did not show up. I called OneTravel to verify, and was assured by the person who barely spoke English that my reserved seats (window and an aisle) were assigned in the system and there were no issues.

When I arrived at the airport for my flight, I was placed in the middle of a row of four seats. Response from OneTravel was horrible. They did not accept responsibility for the problem and blamed it on the fine print with the "travel assist" service I purchased to reserve the seats. On the flight home, I had the same problem. OneTravel's solution to the problem was to refund the fee paid before I had to dispute it with my credit card company. I've worked with many travel companies and airlines over the years. This is by far my worst experience. If you are considering using OneTravel for anything, I urge you to look elsewhere.

Called again to straighten out; was charged a fee for booking change. Got that confirmation back, new flight 6 hours later than we agreed. Called them back; they wanted another booking change fee. Just spent over an hour (mostly on hold), but finally got it straightened out. Very stressful. I'll go directly through the airlines next time.

Do not EVER use this booking company. Ever!!! They scammed us out of $1,600 for 2 airline tickets. They will be rude, obnoxious AND give you attitude such as "What's the big deal, just pay for a new ticket. It's not as expensive as the first." And yes I said that word for word! Even the airline the ticket was "purchased" with, when they heard who it was booked from said they see it often with this agency, and many many people are scammed through them!!!! When you call, they don't even speak English and it's tough to understand them as it is. Even though we purchased travel insurance they didn't refund anything! Oh I lie, it was only $50 "credit" for future bookings. AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE.

I wish I did my research before I booked with them! But we were in a tough jam and needed a ticket asap and they were the cheapest at the time. Which as the say going, cheaper doesn't mean best! Don't book with them, stay away, and use your hard earned money somewhere else. And most of all, do your research in the booking company as well! We lost $1,600 AND still have to pay an extra $1,000 for a new ticket. I believe CheapOair and them are the same agency. When you call the number given, half the time they answer this is CheapOair. I will not be leaving this alone, I will be contacting every single number available and will try my best to get money back. But I repeat AVOID THESE IDIOTS LIKE THE PLAGUE!

I wanted to book a flight from Philadelphia to Detroit, because I received a promotional email from OneTravel. After completing the required information on their website, I continued to click the "continue" button, I suddenly discovered my card was charged $354. I was waiting the confirmation page stating my card would be charged, with a breakdown of the charges, so I could make a decision whether I would accept or deny the charge, that never happen! The airfare was $123, the baggage fees were $231, it cost more for my baggage to fly, than me! I called customer service (located in India) and was informed there was a $50 cancellation fee. I protested, informing the representative that I never viewed the confirmation page to authorize the transaction. I immediately called my bank to dispute the transaction. My funds were returned. Because of the way One Travel's website displays information, I would not recommend using the service. It is deceiving!!!

I bought tickets for 4 itineraries. Each flight ticket cost me more when I had to fly as they gave me crappy airlines that I had to pay for meals (international flights usually include meals), seat selection and baggage fees. These added cost are not revealed clearly to us when tickets are purchased. I ended up paying a lot more than what I anticipated for each flight ticket. This travel website is a fraud. However the ticket fare may be low, please do not buy from this travel website. Trust me, you will avoid a lot of headache and hidden costs that are not revealed to you.

I purchased a plane ticket with travel from Eugene, OR to Sweden. There were three legs to this ticket. The first leg was Eugene to Portland (approx 100 miles). The next leg was Portland to Iceland and then Iceland to Sweden. We had to make a last minute change to the first flight (which we could have driven) and it cost $997.50. I could buy 10 one way tickets to Portland from Eugene for that price. They really took advantage of a last minute emergency - SHAME on them.

First, I have had several reservations with One Travel. On one, the airline altered my layover in MSP from over an hour to 40 minutes, making it doubtful that any delays in departure to MSP, or taxiing or deplaning delays in MSP would mean I and my luggage would not make my international flight connection to AMS. In the process of changing that first flight to earlier flight from FSD to MSP, unbeknownst to me, they altered other legs of my flight which were unrelated to my MSP problem. Now I have a layover time in Ams changed from 2 hrs 45 minutes to one hour. This is a very iffy connection in Shipol. Again any delay in departure, headwinds over the Atlantic, taxiing, or departure delays plus Schipol's security checks mean that now I very likely will miss that flight connection to Bucharest (OTP). If they had not altered that other leg unnecessarily I would have had a comfortable layover in Schipol of 4 hours.

They just transferred a problem at one airport to another. At the time of the change the agent did not tell me there were other changes to my itinerary, nor that they would refuse to make another change to correct the unauthorized changes. This was compounded with the difficulty of communicating through a non-native English-speaking agent. I now have 2 1/2 months to sweat out more unauthorized changes to my flight itinerary and whether I can make that connection at Schipol in Amsterdam.

When the itinerary came in my email, it has one stop to Orlando and so I called explained what happened to a OneTravel agent. The agent said that I can have it canceled for a $50 fee. I told her that I didn't receive what they advertised in their website which was a nonstop flight. Here comes the craziest response you have ever heard... The agent said the non-stop flight is for your first flight to the transit (Orlando)! Tell me guys, is there any way to make it to your next transit flight without a non-stop flight! Why aren't they being sued? How long are they going to collect these fees? I am convinced this is part of their business model. Let's do something!

I found OneTravel extremely helpful when I was a full day late arriving at the airport for my return trip. I was in Asia and my flight home had 3 legs. It was impossible to resolve the problem at the first airport, and, luckily, the staff there allowed me on the first leg in spite of not having a ticket (for that day). When I got to Seoul, I was told that I had to call OneTravel and have them take care of my problem. I called and a gentleman, with an American accent, rebooked me. I was expecting to pay big time, but I was not charged a cent. I have booked with them before, always booking online, without using customer service, and I've not had any problem.

Imagine this: a flight booking that goes from Edmonton, Vancouver then Los Angeles before arriving in New Zealand. Only problem is: at our stopover in Los Angeles we only have 78 minutes to collect our bags, recheck them back in, clear immigration, clear customs before we board the plan on the way home BUT here's the real catch (yes it gets more bizarre) Air New Zealand gates close 75 minutes before our departure so in effect that only gives us 3 minutes to do all the aforementioned. So we rang OneTravel to get these arranged without them reaching into our wallet but they are like, “Nah we are going to take your moneys inside then we come to the table and talk about sorting out your problem that we caused in the first place.” It's a several hundred bucks trap waiting to happen. Wow! Thank you WrongTravel! (in my most polite sarcastic voice) Lesson for the day: Don't Travel with WrongTravel aka OneTravel.

OneTravel is a bureaucratic soup of subcontractors and subcontractors of subcontractors that offer zero in the way of customer service and instead throw up roadblocks every step of the way for any change you would hope to make. Their call centers are staffed by idiotic automations that have no compassion and apparently no brains. We worked for hours (like 10 between my wife and myself) to change a ticket, and when we finally got the airline to change it (for a $180 fee, WOW airlines, I will write a second review for them), they could not print us a receipt or the modified itinerary, and OneTravel didn't have record of the change. So, we could get no proof of the change we just paid dearly for, and the US Passport office wanted to see that proof. And at every step of the way they kept saying, "It is not possible". Well, what is possible is that I would hope they will get banned from doing business in the US. We don't need these ineffective charlatans.

OneTravel.com has list of things to decline on the way to check-out but somewhere in their very fine print is a service charge. The service charge does not appear in your shopping cart or as part of your total. If you have a credit card that lets you see what is being posted to your credit card in real time, you will see what was in your shopping cart and then you will see an additional fee. Deal with the airlines directly - these guys are dishonest. Reading reviews of OneTravel.com, it looks like I got off easy. Reading other people’s review OneTravel.com has even worse things in their portfolio of tricks.
