On 10/25/2017 I made a reservation with "OneTravel" and requested an aisle seat for reservations from DEN to ATL to BOS. They accepted my card and 2 days later I was informed that my card was unaccepted for the requested seat but it had been accepted in its entirety for the total cost. I called and requested they cancel the charge in that I had made reservations direct with the airline and was seated where I requested. I called my credit card company and asked that the charge be disputed. "OneTravel" told my credit card company that the charge was not refundable and hence they would not credit my account. Hence I was billed again for a charge that I never incurred.
When calling "OneTravel" and describing the problem they would transfer me to a number that rang and rang and after 40 minutes of waiting, there was never any answer hence I hung up. Upon seeing the charge on my recent bill, I was able to contact their billing department and they gave me lip service and have done nothing to alleviate the problem. To protect my good credit rating, I will have to pay the unconscionable charge and will never use "OneTravel" again. Caveat Emptor!!

I booked with them flights from San Juan to China, paid and when I was returning from China my ticket was cancelled by them... A very unpleasant and costly situation. Imagine yourself in China without a return ticket. I ended paying to reactive the ticket, paid twice for the same. When I reached home they refuse by all ways to reimburse the second amount paid. Customer service in India or Mars hardly speaks English. A nightmare. Don’t book with this company. The attached images shows that I paid $874.66 for the air tickets that include flight HU7961 on Oct 26, 2017 seat 50D and I was billed 1330 yuan about $202.00 to take THE SAME FLIGHT ON SEAT 36D...very bad from OneTravel...

I used onetravel.com to book a discount airfare. I didn't realize, however, until after receiving my confirmation that the dates for the low-cost fare had been changed by the website. I saw their 24-hour guarantee, so immediately called their customer service desk. After over 90 minutes on hold and talking with two men who barely spoke English, I was able to cancel the flight, but then they charged me a $50 cancellation fee, and another unspecified charge of $65.94. DO NOT USE THIS SITE!

The next morning, I woke up to get a notice that the itinerary was cancelled and the price of the ticket had gone up. When I tried to call customer service, I got transferred around, cut off and finally transferred to an automated survey. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Booked a round trip ticket from Atlanta to Tampa, upon completing they changed the flight dates when I called them (they all have heavy accent and act like they don’t understand what you tell them) but can tell you how you can pay lots more to change the dates to what you intended to purchase. Buyers be aware. They will change the dates on your bookings. Pay attention to small details before you complete your transaction.

I got a phone call from OneTravel customer service. The representative mentioned that he wanted to see how he could resolve the issue and listen to my recommendations on having a better customer satisfaction in the future. I was happy to hear that they are trying to improve their services. He listened to my comments and mentioned that he will relay my observations to the respective department. He also offered to refund the $50 they had charged me as an act of good faith. As I thought that I could remove my review, I told the representative that I agree to remove it. But It does not look like I can remove the review; only to add a resolution to it. So, here I am writing another one on the good customer service that I received from this representative who called and tried to rectify the problem in a fairly professional manner.

I was looking to purchase a ticket and were surfing the net. Once I entered my information in One Travel, I got a promotional email afterward that was giving me the chance to use a $30 promo for my purchase. That was a good incentive for me to go back to their website. I found a ticket right then but was not very sure. However, as I saw that they had '24 Hours Cancellation" I decided to lock it in until the next day and then decide. Even opening the tab for more information, it did not say anything about a fee. So, I started booking. During the purchase, where it asks for the promo code, I copied/pasted the code they sent to me, but the price did not change. As it was getting very late at night, almost about 2 am, I decided to book and then call tomorrow and let them know that the promo did not work.
The next day, I realize that I booked my ticket prematurely and best to cancel within my 24-hour window and then once I know better the best date of my departure, re-purchase. When I called, the agent told me that I have to pay a $75 fine. That was the first time I heard that I have to pay. Not only no airline charges when you cancel, even HOTWIRE does not!!! I told the agent that I did not see that they charge, and he said at the bottom of the page, before you hit purchase, it mentions that the ticket can be canceled for a fee. Of course, I was not very happy about this total nonsense of a charge. I did an electronic reservation without any agent being involved and less than 10 hours afterward I was canceling my ticket and they wanted to charge me this amount for what?!
When I complained about the clear visibility of the fee being charged and it is unheard of that for a $529.00 tickets, there'll be a charge of $75.00, he put me on hold and then got back to me saying that his supervisor approved of a discount of $25.00 so they charge me $50.00! I was not really happy but I did not want to waste more of my time. I am writing this review so hopefully, other people read it and don't make the same mistake that I did. The other sites seem to be more accurate and fair.

Horrible experience. While booking a holiday trip for my family of 4, the website did not allow me to type our complete names so we decided to book and call immediately for help. The first person was rude and the second arrogant with a very thick accent and told us they had to cancel the flight tickets and pay a 300 cancelation fee and then rebook another flight at a different price. They charged around 160 fee. Better to buy directly from airline. Be aware.

I had the misfortune of going onto the OneTravel website to book a flight from Washington Dulles airport to Orlando international (very specific request for non-stop flights). It showed me the first flight at a reasonable price and I booked it only to find on the confirmation itinerary that it was leaving from Washington National and not Dulles. After half an hour on the phone to try cancel this mistake which is due to a rubbish website, they charged me $50 in cold blood. I was fuming and could not get past the Indian call centre to speak to someone in charge of the site. If you're ever tempted to book a flight DO NOT EVER use this one.

My experience with OneTravel was frustrating and one of the worse examples of customer service that I've ever experienced. Civil Unrest in the country I was traveling to caused me to cancel my flights. When contacting OneTravel to see what options I had was horrible. First the customer service agent did not speak English fluently. At one point, he asked me, "Why are you calling"? To make a long story as short as practical, the fees associated with cancellation added up to more than the ticket price. I would owe them more money!!! I sat on hold for 15 minutes, then hung up on. It is very easy to use their website to book a flight but just hope you don't any reason to talk with them.

After more than $500 in change fees I still have not received a correct new booking for the earlier return flight plus my departing flight was also changed to a two day departure which messes up getting on the cruise ship on time. Avianca has not canceled the flight but was pleased two hours. For this reason I was for this reason 15 hours in Lima y 15 hours in Bogota, before arriving at Boston. My original flight had only 2,30 hours delay. I do not have enough space to write all the setbacks I has for them and their greed to sell more than capacity of the flight. I found the two persons I had to deal with when making necessary changes to my itinerary, to be professional, businesslike and effective. The only thing I did not like was that my fare escalated significantly with the changes. However, I understand that this may have been unavoidable because airline fares are not rational in how they are set. But at the same time, one is at the mercy of OneTravel because one is at that point a captive, i.e. having paid a non-refundable fare, it is obvious that the customer can't say "oh never mind, I'll check some other sites to see if this new fare is comparable with what I could get elsewhere". So perhaps a little more assurance that the new fare is still the best available, would be nice.

Only what matters to them is money. I purchased a flight ticket from Vienna to Toronto. The flight was provided by TAP and was slightly cheaper than other airlines. However, they forgot to mention that checked luggage was not included and that I would have to pay 80 Euro for each flight. When I called them to complain, the supervisor speaking to me was totally arrogant and not trying to resolve the problem at all. Still repeating that is airline policy. He told me that I should have checked on the TAP website before I made the booking. Well, then I would not need to book the flight with One Travel... Never ever use them again.

My husband and I decided to use OneTravel.com to buy inter island tickets from Tahiti (PPT) to Bora Bora (BOB). We started the purchase in Sep 2017 and the trip is in Feb 2018. For each segment of the purchase we took screenshots. Throughout the whole purchase the departure and arrival were correct. However, as soon as we hit confirm, Onetravel.com changed the arrival destination.
I have screenshots that show that my travel is confirmed from PPT-BOB. However, when the confirmation email was sent to us the flight had been changed to PPT-RFT (Raiatea) which is a completely different island. It is not what was purchased. Then they advertise free cancelation within 24 hours. Right away we called and were in the phone for 45 minutes with them and they refused to cancel the transaction and told us they would charge us to fix the flight destination... Which they screwed up... Or they would charge us a cancellation fee!
Then we disputed the transaction through CHASE and the bank says that there is nothing they can do because the company has a NO REFUND policy and that they cannot give us money back on a service we already received... WHAT THE HELL!!! First of all NO REFUND policy is good if you have been given what you bought to begin with and we have not. Second the trip is in Feb 2018, so how have we already received the service? This company does not even deserve a 1 star. If I could give them a 0 star I would. I am not happy at all with this company.
This trip was for our 18th anniversary. It was suppose to be fun and this company so far has turned it into the trip from Hell. The stress of trying to figure out how to get where we need to go for the hotels we have reserved is unbelievable. I do not know why this company is allowed to operate. I am adding the screenshots in sequence. At the top of each screenshot you will see the time it was taken. You will see that even after the confirmation was sent it said PPT-BOB... Right up to where it asked us to pick our seats. Then the flight was changed after we purchased the flight... I do not have the money to pay an attorney but if it is free then sure have them call.

Long story short, the one thing that I’ve been looking forward to as the year comes to an end, was a family vacation. While online I booked my Flight on Tuesday, December 5 to travel December 17 and return on December 22. It wasn’t until I received the itinerary that I realized my flight was booked for December 17-December 19. I immediately called them to fix the issue. All I needed was to change my returning flight to December 22. I talked to one gentleman who told me, “we didn’t make a mistake, you did, so now you have to pay an additional $300+ to change your flight”. Another gentleman said, “why don’t I just cancel your flight, wait 7-10 days for the money to be placed back on your card and try again”.
After dealing with very poor customer service and horrible attitudes, I finally was able to speak with a manager. The manager “tried”, but his suggestion was not helpful at all (being that I used money to purchase the tickets and would not be paid again until that Friday). He then tells me, "You have 48 hrs to make any changes." I also purchased the travel insurance that came with it, but that wasn’t even useful. I called American Airlines, they couldn’t switch my ticket because it was done with this third party system OneTravel.
All I can say is never again!!! I will always book my flight with a reliable website (i.e. American Airlines, Delta, etc). Not only are they a third party system, but they have horrible attitudes across the board. I never write reviews on companies, but I just want to warn someone else before you make the same mistake I did. Never book with them, NEVER BOOK WITH ONE TRAVEL, BOOK YOUR FLIGHT DIRECTLY WITH THE AIRLINE OR A MORE TRUSTWORTHY WEBSITE! I am honestly livid and disturb by the poor quality of service OneTravel displayed.

In second day I called them to check the cancellation status, they told me they didn't cancel the ticket as I didn't like to pay the service fee. We ended up buying tickets on another airline to connect to the rest of our reservations. Six weeks and several communications later, OneTravel actually asked us to call One of the airlines they had bought our tickets with. Their customer service appears to be in India. In each communication, the response is the same: give us 3 to 5 business days.
I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told one would call within 24 hours. More than a week later I got a callback from the supervisor's desk. OneTravel has basically refused to refund us until they get a refund from the airline they bought the ticket from which is not even the airline with whom the flight was apparently canceled. Because of this, I incurred a premium charge of nearly $200 on top of the original ticket price as I was forced to rebook with another airline. OneTravel.com did not assume responsibility and only refunded me the original ticket amount.
About 3 weeks later, I through my poor judgment booked with them again and after providing my credit card info and receiving a confirmation email, didn't think about it again, for a flight the next day. OneTravel.com then sent an email stating that they needed to speak to me. I called them and upon answering their questions, was told the ticket was confirmed. After not seeing another email, I got concerned and called them, at which time, they told me that the ticket wasn't issued and now there was a premium of $67.21 to pay in order to get the ticket. Not to mention they charged the 100.00 on the spot however I still haven't received a refund. This is how this company treats the military... Also American Airlines was no help because it was booked with a 3rd party. Don't use this company stick with Skyscanner or Expedia or the airline itself.

I was willing to pay another $300 for rebooking but they’re asking me for another $700+ for it. Customer service sucks!

I am writing this review to warn people to not use OneTravel to book flights, regardless of how good of a deal it may appear. The booking process actually went smooth and gave us the correct flight dates that I submitted. The first issue was that OneTravel has a feature that allows you to reserve specific seats on a flight. It shows a seating chart grid and you can select a seat(s) to reserve. I was still debating on if I wanted to reserve seats and clicked on four total seats (for two different legs) and figured I would see how much it costs and decide from there. Well, there was no "Checkout" or "Review Order" page. It automatically charged me using my PayPal information the site had conveniently saved. That was shady to say the least. It was an extra $115, but I decided to let it go.
And then it seemed every few weeks prior to our trip I would get an email from OneTravel saying the flight times had changed, and that I pretty much had to accept these changes or I would lose these tickets and not get a refund. The real stress occurred when we arrived at Prague airport to begin our flight path back home. The airport had no record of our flight reservations for the first leg, only for the second and third legs of our path home. It made no sense how the airport only received part of the three-flight reservation from OneTravel. I desperately showed the staff member an email with our reservation and ticket numbers via OneTravel to no avail, and then could not get in touch with OneTravel on the phone.
The Prague airport staff saved the day and worked us into that first flight after everyone else had received boarding tickets, and we were able to make the rest of our connections. But sitting in a foreign airport with no flight reservation and no sense of what was going on was extremely stressful. When I tried to contact OneTravel after the fact, I repeatedly brought this up to multiple OneTravel agents who either dodged my questions or refused to acknowledge what I was trying to convey. To add to the insult, none of the flights had the seat reservations that I paid $115 for through OneTravel. I think OneTravel knew they screwed up because before I even asked they gave me a "partial refund" for less than a fourth of the $115.
I continually asked how I could only get a partial refund when they did not provide any of the seat reservation service and if not for the kind people at Prague airport we would have been stranded in a foreign country with no way to get home other than completely re-booking a new flight. OneTravel seems to be okay when everything goes to plan. But based on my experiences and what I am reading, you are screwed if anything needs to be changed or if a mistake occurs that needs to be corrected. They use customer service agents who seem to have no communication pathway to upper management and speak poor English, and I'm sure they do that on purpose to generate a buffer between them and the massive amounts of complaints. Even if the flights are super cheap, please don't get cute. Book through the airline directly, or a reputable site such as Expedia or Travelocity.

I purchased a ticket to go to my home country DOMINICA for Christmas to surprise my mom on 9/13/2017 through OneTravel. Literally 5 days later Dominica was directly hit by Maria a CAT 5 hurricane and was completely destroyed. My mom lost her roof and then her entire house during the storm. Dominica was left 90% damaged with not a leaf left on a tree, and 95% of roofs gone. Since then I have sent for my mom to come up to Florida and live with me since she is now HOMELESS. I do not intend to spend Christmas home anymore since I NOW HAVE NO HOME IN DOMINICA. I reached out to OneTravel to explain this situation to see how they could assist and their response was that my ticket was NON REFUNDABLE and they don't care or acknowledge natural disasters! They didn't offer me a credit, they didn't apologize, they expressed no sympathy for what my family and I are going through.
I asked to speak with a manager and I was hung up on. Also the ticket I purchased through them also takes me through San Juan who was ALSO DIRECTLY HIT by the hurricane and in the process of rebuilding and recovering. I then decided to call my bank and asked if I was able to charge back this purchase due to the circumstances and they were willing to assist. YESTERDAY I received a VERY NASTY call from a claim specialist from ONE TRAVEL. I explained the situation almost in tears as this is truly a devastating experience for my family and I. And without even apologizing she begins to tell me how I am going to lose this chargeback because they see no proof or evidence and this purchase is non-refundable. I pleaded with her, told her I have no home to go to, she's not even giving me a second option. She's just flat out telling me I have to keep this ticket.
She told me that One Travel has done all they can to help the victims of Hurricane Irma (which BTW I also experienced because I live in Miami, FL). I quickly corrected her and said my ticket is from San Juan to Dominica BOTH places affected by Hurricane Maria and I found it extremely insensitive and rude what she was saying to me. In cases like that a company needs to have certain procedures in place to help those who have lost everything and don't even get me started on customer service. She got me so angry yesterday I had to leave work early shaking and crying.
I have never experienced a hurricane like this and I have also never been treated like this in my life. Something has to be done about the fact that these companies are so money hungry that they will deal with people this way in a time of need like this. And what airline company DOES NOT ACKNOWLEDGE NATURAL DISASTERS... smh. Shame on you! I will NEVER be using your services again!!!

I put my airline name and put in what I wanted, price seemed good so clicked and then realized US dollars. Thought "oh no", I live 5 miles from my airline in Canada. Why would I pay US funds? Immediately called my bank to cancel before it went through my acct. They suggested changing my card #, which I did. Didn't think anymore about it. I later had my card put online and noticed the amount in US funds. Never having rec'd an itinerary, couldn't figure out who to call.
Called my airline who asked several questions, got permission to tell me who I was dealing with. It was OneTravel. Called them, was sent to 3 different departments, the last one in Ukraine. Personnel were very polite. One gentleman gave me my itinerary. Will was needed. Was told the appropriate dept would contact me next week. Called my bank with info. They said wait until end of week and if no call they would investigate. No call! Investigation came back with no results in my favor.
Tried to change dates with OneTravel, but they wanted to charge over $300. US. They hadn't put our names in properly and wanted to charge $150. US for that. Finally we called our airline, who weren't worried about the names. We decided we had to take the trip or lose our money. They basically charged us for nothing. Could have saved $600 US by calling my airline. You can't cancel your flight with OneTravel, and get charged for any change, yours or theirs. SCAMMERS. Someone getting rich doing nothing for you. It was even charged at a different time. Then when we needed a simple name change... it was absolute hell. Call the airline directly for fights. It's the same deals. I absolutely do not recommend ever using OneTravel for any reason. The people on the other ends of the phone do not speak very good English and are downright rude. I'm very upset to discover that a roundtrip flight I've booked on September 9, 2017 was altered by company & now they refuses to cancel or refund me. I will be going to News networks & social media. I booked a flight for departure from Orlando, FL on Tues. 11/21/17 @ 8:10a to Philadelphia, PA with an arrival time of 10:33a. My return date was booked for Sun. 11/26/17 @ 6:15a & returning to Orlando approximately 8:45. Now this was made more than 2 mos in advance. On the morning of Sat. 10/14/17 around 10 am, my boyfriend asks, "honey, when are you leaving for Philadelphia again?" My response was "huum, let me check my confirmation!" So going into my saved emails, I opened for the first time my Booking Confirmation from One Travel. "What!" I said in shock. "How did this happen? I need to call right now & get this straight!"
To make a long story short & after several 5-10 min holds & tickets are non refundable, I threatened to go to social media & major news networks. The company called me back & offered to make changes for a $99 fee, I declined. I was put on hold again, then was quoted another fee of $45. I declined that as well & declared I am not paying for a scam you all are trying to run. After being placed on another hold, I was told someone would call me in 30 minutes. Instead I received an email stating to call them back in this matter. Another series of holds where now each rep I was speaking with was not customer service friendly. The last offer was "let me place you on hold while I work on changing the dates but there will be a charge for changing the times." Now I am here!

A few hours later I got a second Email from the OneTravel, asking me to contact them because they needed to verify verbally my credit card information.
I immediately called OneTravel and gave them all the information they asked for. Then, they were calling my Chilean bank to verify if I am really the cardholder. Since my bank executive speaks Spanish and no one at OneTravel was speaking Spanish they could not communicate with each other. Because of that, OneTravel asked me to send them another Email (from my business Email account), indicating who I am and authorizing charging my credit card.
I sent that Email immediately but did not get any answer during several hours. Therefore, I decided to call them again and, to my unpleasant surprise, they told me that the flight is no longer available (!) and, to make it more sarcastic, they offered me an alternative flight which would have cost more than 400 US dollars (my booked flight would have cost 90 US dollars). In the end I had to buy a bus ticket in order not to get stuck. In a nutshell: OneTravel is really unprofessional, they made me lose time and my flight and only by luck I was able to get a bus ticket (which will be now a 12 hours ride instead of a 2 hours flight). We booked our flights from Burma to Nepal with a layover in Malaysia only to receive an email out of nowhere three days later saying that our refund for $433 has been processed. Not only had we never requested a refund, but the refund was only for a portion of the total cost of $706. Not only did the email claim we were receiving a "refund" they actually charged us an ADDITIONAL $433!!! My partner called them immediately and as of the writing of this review he has been on the phone for over an hour and is STILL on hold! He has spoken to at least 4 different representatives each more incompetent than the last, was disconnected, had to repeatedly explain what happened, and still they seemed to not understand what was going on, could offer no explanation for the randomly canceled flight, why we were being charged again rather than refunded, and continued to resist giving us the full refund of over $1,140!!
He spoke specifically with a man named Garvin (or something like that) who continued to argue that we had gotten what we paid for. We did NOT purchase a flight only from Malaysia to Nepal as we have NO intention of going to Malaysia. The reason we went with OneTravel is because THEY are supposed to coordinate between the different flights, instead Garvin told us WE would need to call the airlines and figure it out! Only after my partner threatened to call his bank to cancel and refund these fraudulent charges and report OneTravel to the Better Business Bureau did we receive meager compliance.
All we want at this point is to have OUR $1,140 returned to us immediately. It's ridiculous that the flight was cancelled without warning or reason, we were then charged rather than refunded, and that now after nearly 1.5 hours on the phone with these people they still have no clue what's going on and lack the basic competence to issue a refund for a trip THEY ** up. As a result of the mandatory evacuation for Hurricane Irma in Southern Florida, my wife and I were recommended by our hotel to fly out by Thursday evening. In addition to this recommendation, we were told the last available flight out of Ft. Lauderdale would be around 8:30am Friday and were concerned our flight would be canceled, rendering us having to stay in Florida through the hurricane. We rebooked our flight to LAX for Wednesday from Jacksonville, since it was one of the only available remaining flights.
Seeing that the evacuation was a necessity, our initial agreement to being charged $272.80 for the flight change was out of having no other options at the time. However, seeing that JetBlue, whom we flew with on our new flight (JetBlue Flight 1678 and Flight 323), has made a public statement saying they would not charge for flight changes, we were hoping our charges of $272.80 would be rescinded. Thank you for considering our request. I look forward to hearing back soon.

I checked my booking on the Level Airline website a few weeks before my trip and the seat reservation did not show up. When I arrived at the airport for my flight, I was placed in the middle of a row of four seats. Response from OneTravel was horrible. They did not accept responsibility for the problem and blamed it on the fine print with the "travel assist" service I purchased to reserve the seats. On the flight home, I had the same problem. Don't book with them, stay away, and use your hard earned money somewhere else. And most of all, do your research in the booking company as well! We lost $1,600 AND still have to pay an extra $1,000 for a new ticket. I believe CheapOair and them are the same agency. When you call the number given, half the time they answer this is CheapOair. I will not be leaving this alone, I will be contacting every single number available and will try my best to get money back. But I repeat AVOID THESE IDIOTS LIKE THE PLAGUE!

I wanted to book a flight from Philadelphia to Detroit, because I received a promotional email from OneTravel. After completing the required information on their website, I continued to click the "continue" button, I suddenly discovered my card was charged $354. I was waiting the confirmation page stating my card would be charged, with a breakdown of the charges, so I could make a decision whether I would accept or deny the charge, that never happen! The airfare was $123, the baggage fees were $231, it cost more for my baggage to fly, than me! I called customer service (located in India) and was informed there was a $50 cancellation fee. I protested, informing the representative that I never viewed the confirmation page to authorize the transaction. I immediately called my bank to dispute the transaction. My funds were returned. Because of the way One Travel's website displays information, I would not recommend using the service. It is deceiving!!!

Each flight ticket cost me more when I had to fly as they gave me crappy airlines that I had to pay for meals (international flights usually include meals), seat selection and baggage fees. These added cost are not revealed clearly to us when tickets are purchased. I ended up paying a lot more than what I anticipated for each flight ticket. This travel website is a fraud. However the ticket fare may be low, please do not buy from this travel website. Trust me, you will avoid a lot of headache and hidden costs that are not revealed to you.

I purchased a plane ticket with travel from Eugene, OR to Sweden. There were three legs to this ticket. The first leg was Eugene to Portland (approx 100 miles). The next leg was Portland to Iceland and then Iceland to Sweden. We had to make a last minute change to the first flight (which we could have driven) and it cost $997.50. I could buy 10 one way tickets to Portland from Eugene for that price. They really took advantage of a last minute emergency - SHAME on them.

First, I have had several reservations with One Travel. On one, the airline altered my layover in MSP from over an hour to 40 minutes, making it doubtful that any delays in departure to MSP, or taxiing or deplaning delays in MSP would mean I and my luggage would not make my international flight connection to AMS. In the process of changing that first flight to earlier flight from FSD to MSP, unbeknownst to me, they altered other legs of my flight which were unrelated to my MSP problem. Now I have a layover time in Ams changed from 2 hrs 45 minutes to one hour. This is a very iffy connection in Shipol. Again any delay in departure, headwinds over the Atlantic, taxiing, or departure delays plus Schipol's security checks mean that now I very likely will miss that flight connection to Bucharest (OTP). If they had not altered that other leg unnecessarily I would have had a comfortable layover in Schipol of 4 hours.
They just transferred a problem at one airport to another. At the time of the change the agent did not tell me there were other changes to my itinerary, nor that they would refuse to make another change to correct the unauthorized changes. This was compounded with the difficulty of communicating through a non-native English-speaking agent. I now have 2 1/2 months to sweat out more unauthorized changes to my flight itinerary and whether I can make that connection at Schipol in Amsterdam.

I found OneTravel extremely helpful when I was a full day late arriving at the airport for my return trip. I was in Asia and my flight home had 3 legs. It was impossible to resolve the problem at the first airport, and, luckily, the staff there allowed me on the first leg in spite of not having a ticket (for that day). When I got to Seoul, I was told that I had to call OneTravel and have them take care of my problem. I called and a gentleman, with an American accent, rebooked me. I was expecting to pay big time, but I was not charged a cent. I have booked with them before, always booking online, without using customer service, and I've not had any problem.

Only problem is: at our stopover in Los Angeles we only have 78 minutes to collect our bags, recheck them back in, clear immigration, clear customs before we board the plan on the way home BUT here's the real catch (yes it gets more bizarre) Air New Zealand gates close 75 minutes before our departure so in effect that only gives us 3 minutes to do all the aforementioned. So we rang OneTravel to get these arranged without them reaching into our wallet but they are like, “Nah we are going to take your moneys inside then we come to the table and talk about sorting out your problem that we caused in the first place.” It's a several hundred bucks trap waiting to happen. We worked for hours (like 10 between my wife and myself) to change a ticket, and when we finally got the airline to change it (for a $180 fee, WOW airlines, I will write a second review for them), they could not print us a receipt or the modified itinerary, and OneTravel didn't have record of the change. So, we could get no proof of the change we just paid dearly for, and the US Passport office wanted to see that proof. And at every step of the way they kept saying, "It is not possible". Well, what is possible is that I would hope they will get banned from doing business in the US. We don't need these ineffective charlatans.

Disclaimer: My long stressful experience is written in details down below. But let me just tell you all how this company, all the process including the booking, name changing, cancellation, and refunding, as well as mistaking some credit card accounts and amounts is very very stressful. You might be lured into their cheap price, but once you want to change ANYTHING, everything is an additional fee and it is very hard to reach them! I thought they were something like a scam because they never check the email and respond back, and every single part gets connected to different departments and you have to tell your story on and on each time. They are not responsible and takes advantage of you (especially when you are not fluent with English! I had to translate this whole process for my family because they would look down on them!)
On Jun 16, 2017, I made a reservation for me and my 3 friends and tried using my card for the payment but it failed due to account amount limit so my friend used her card. By the way, I have sent a similar email to tlc@onetravel.com however they never replied back to us even though on the website it said to email them when questions are needed.
On July 3rd, 2017, I called the OneTravel company wanting to change one of the passenger to a new passenger, so I cancelled the seat of one of my friend and paid 150$ of cancellation fee. But in the end, I had to cancel the rest of 3 people as well, so I also paid 450$ for the rest of the cancellation fee (the total amount of 150$ and 450$ is 600$ and this will be paid to the OneTravel company on July 26th, 2017 due to credit card system). So the total refund amount for 4 people, 876.68$ was refunded to my friend's card out of 1471.88$ the total flight expenses. Which means that the cancellation fee is subtracted from 1471.68$-876.68$=600$. Then, the cancellation fee is taken by the company leaving my friend with the refund amount of 876.68$. Also, instead of 1471.68$, about 1535$ was charged from my friend's account!
However, another 600$ was charged for the cancellation fee in the beginning with no refund to my account. When I made a phone call to the company’s billing department, they told me that from a card that we never paid with, a total amount of 1,090$ was charged and a refund of 876.68$, leaving with the amount 213.6$. I don’t even know what this 213.6$ was charged for and not returned as a refund as well. Also they told me that from my card 150$ was charged, and 450$ was charged (when I made a cancellation call and went through this process, but above it’s already shown how this 600$ is taken from my friend's account leaving with the refund of 876.68$) And another 381.6$ was charged for the flights when all the flight expenses were charged from my friend's account!
This company has a major system error with this calculation as well as amount procedure for each account for our cards. The amounts that were actually charged from our card accounts (checked by the credit card bank for the amounts) are different to what this company is saying that was charged. And due to this major error from your company, we need to get a reply from them to cancel on the 600$ that will be processed to be charged on July 26th, 2017. As well as a confirmation and apology for this mistake and this stressful process of cancelling, refunding, account mistaking! But they haven't even read the email still after days and days!

When I called OneTravel they told me that after I made my reservation, and while my payment verification was being processed, that the price of the flight had changed so I needed to rebook. No one ever contacted me in any way, shape or form to tell me this. Incident #2: Extremely steep cancellation fees. Cancelled an international flight. Received a confirmation email saying I would be charged a $250 cancellation fee. But, they also ended up charging me an additional $174 on top of that. So I paid a total of $424 for a flight I never took. I didn't even get any kind of partial credit for a future flight.
In both cases, I called to speak to someone in customer service. Like many companies these days, they outsource their call center to a foreign country where there is a language/accent barrier in order to save a buck. Both people I spoke to were extremely rude to me. They actually argued with me. I was never given a clear explanation on anything or made to feel better as a customer in any way. Before finalizing my booking I called customer service of OneTravel to make some clarifications about baggage policy. It was confirmed by customer service that the fare being shown on website includes one carry on and one checked in bag for each individual.
Fortunately, I checked later on airlines website, but my booking was showing no checked in bag included in our fare for all four of us. Then I again called customer service OneTravel and the agent reconfirmed me that your fare includes one free checked in bag and one carry-on bag for each and she emailed me the baggage policy. And she said Airlines sometimes make mistake and she will call airlines and will call me back, but she never called me back.
I called again to OneTravel and the agent put me on hold to make his supervisor talk with me, but after 20-25 minutes holding phone was disconnected. So they were rolling over the ball towards each other and was wasting my time. So ultimately I gave to waste my more time and decided never to go with OneTravel. This is false. Air Corsica said that with the type of ticket I purchased, that the fee to change the ticket should have been $70 Euros and not $463 USD. I will never use this corrupted agency again. Please beware.

I used the website to book flights (multi-city) and while having difficulty, I was interrupted by a phone call from OneTravel. A very polite service agent helped me through purchase and strangely I never hit a Purchase button when I received email that I had a confirmed flight. I did note that the Terms and Conditions state that cancellation is possible within 24 hours but when 4 hours later, I went to cancel, I was told there is a 50.00 fee. This was not clear or even stated within the section on cancellation. One must look under fees separately to find that detail. More and more, I realize that these companies are not worth dealing with, and I am trying the airline websites. If I have to pay a few dollars more to cut companies like OneTravel out of the mix, I will do that. In this case, Alaska would have saved me $100.00 on my flight.

When I paid for the ticket with my credit card it was the right day, I verified like 5 times to be sure. When I received the confirmation and notice that it was on 14 to 19 of July, I called them to change it. I talk to 5 different people and nobody understand what I was saying. When I finally talk to the manager he said me that I didn't notice in 24h so they cannot do anything for me. They said I have to pay 635$ US to make the change. But at first it was 200$ for change... they also charged me for seat, they charged me and extra 14$, 2 times. And they never said me why I have to pay this. I made the unfortunate mistake of not checking out this complete scam of a travel service before going down the dark hole of deception that they are. As with another reviewer, I made the reservation for a specific date online, and got a very favorable price so I went ahead and transacted the purchase, only to find out after receiving my confirmation via email that it was for the wrong date. They claim it was what I did online, but I know it was not, and it was actually reading about this tactic they use on another review that I actually noticed it.
When I called, they said I made the mistake but they could reschedule it and found another flight for another $55 which still seemed reasonable so I said, "Fine, do it." After he had done the change he tells me that unfortunately because it is a discounted rate I cannot check a bag, which is insane! My guess is that I would probably have been able to check a bag anyway since there is no such thing, but I decided all this scam was already too much so I canceled the flight for $50 an hour after I made it. These guys are out of control and the authorities should really look into this, but in the meantime, this is the small part I can contribute.

We have used OneTravel for years now on our family trips flying once to twice a year. I have had to use the insurance we bought once to change a flight and the only trouble I had was understanding the agent (that gets really irritating- they ought to have people who can speak and understand their customers in the area they are serving). I have their app on my phone and it shows where the gate is that we need to get to prior to the flight, where the plane is and the ETA, and it keeps track of all your trips which is really handy when you have a few upcoming. The tickets have always been there at the kiosk when we get there and there have never been any issues. We've upgraded seats at the last minute, used kiosks and ticket agents without problems.
I made a username on the OneTravel site, and have been accumulating points towards discounts. The only thing with their site I haven't liked is the charging for seats that they do as I have long legs so I end up paying an extra 15$. Even with that, it beats the airline prices as I can't get the same discount going to the airlines direct... I've tried with their pages up right next to OneTravel, so I'll pay 15$ for my leg room and we have flown American Airlines using OneTravel for the last 3 years without anyone problems or issues.

My experience with OneTravel was absolutely TERRIBLE to say the least. More than 24 hours prior to my flight I called to get assistance to add middle names to our tickets, the representative on the other end was so incredibly rude and gave me attitude about why I didn't call weeks before to change it. On their policy, it says that they are supposed to be able to help you 24 hours before your flight on anything that you need assistance with. This man then proceeded to tell me that there was no way he could change the names on our tickets and because we didn't have our middle names, it would be impossible for my friends and I to board our plane. He gave me the ONLY option to cancel my flights and to purchase new tickets, so that we could add our middle names. Each ticket was twice as much as what my friends and I had originally paid for. We found this option to be very deceiving and did not choose to go this route.
In my years of flying, I have NEVER not been able to board the plane with a missing middle name. This man kept pushing for me to cancel my flights and was so inappropriate and rude on the phone. After 2 hours of this man's inappropriate behavior on the phone and declining this option, he had the audacity to call me the NEXT DAY (the day of my flight) WITHOUT my permission to try once more to cancel my flights and purchase the more expensive ones. Just to be clear, my friends and I were able to board all our flights WITH NO PROBLEM. I was charged $100 for the cancellation and I can only use the credit with Air Canada, which I am fine with. It also states that I will be charged $300 per person to use the credit for rebooking a flight, which seems way too much, but that is not the major issue. I have contacted them multiple times, using multiple methods. I have called and I have also used their online chat. My girlfriend has also contacted them, since we are trying to rebook a flight and we keep getting differences each time we contact them.
We have been told that we need to book by a different date in which my email tells me, and their explanation is that the email has a mistake in it. If I were to make a mistake I would have to honor that mistake, yet they will not. We have also been told a different time that we need to spend a minimum of $1400, not including the $300 per person charge they are going to take from me to rebook. Another time, we were told that the flight has to be outside of the US, which is fine, yet when I try to book it from BWI to Toronto, I am told that it can only be to the country to which the original tickets were for, yet nowhere in my cancellation email does it state that. The only explanation I got for that one is, it is subject to availability. Below, I have copied and pasted my cancellation email that I received:
Also, we did purchase the cancellation insurance, which is a scam. You have to go through more hoops with a completely different company. If you for some reason decide to use OneTravel, do not buy the cancellation insurance, it will not do anything for you, except take money out of your wallet. All I want to do is just use my money that they have to rebook a flight, on the days that fall within the time frame they stated that I can book by (8/19/2017), to a destination outside the US with Air Canada. I just never thought it would be this difficult. I feel that it is made this difficult so you will not use the credit and they will make money from you for free.
This company is crooked and does not care about its customers. Its customer service will give you the runaround until you get so frustrated that you want to give up. I started in the morning of 2/25/2016 trying to check in with United Airlines for a connecting flight to Houston leaving at 14:24 p.m. Got a message that flight was cancelled. I went to Delta Airlines website and saw that I was put down on flight 2204 to Houston leaving at 15:05. Tried to check in, Delta won't let me. Called Delta. They said they have no control over tickets to call the travel company. Called One Travel that had me on hold about an hour while communicating with United Airlines. They came back saying there is nothing they can do and send me back to Delta.
Delta send me to Singapore Airlines that confirmed the cancellation and offered me the next day flight. I told them going for a 2 days workshop and cannot miss the entire first day. I offered to purchase the Delta segment from Atlanta to Houston, no positive answer. She said to call One Travel from Singapore so they can fix it but she also said that One Travel got a lower class ticket after cancelling the previous one, probably to save money.
Arrived in Singapore on 2/27/2017 and luggage got lost. Received luggage on 2/28 afternoon, after multiple calls to Singapore airlines. On 3/1/2017 I started calling (from Singapore), Singapore airline to upgrade my return ticket and confirm LA segment. Was told I cannot do it because of a lower class ticket purchased by the travel agency. Called Delta to confirm flight from Los Angeles to Atlanta and was told that they cannot confirm my booking but only 4 hours before the flight. All this because of a lower booking class ticket purchased by One Travel to save money. I had to take the chance and fly back to LA not knowing if I have a return ticket to Atlanta, or not.
Upon returning to Atlanta I requested from One Travel reimbursement for my Atlanta-Houston trip and also for lowering my booking class ticket. After multiple calls they referred me to Suzanne **, from CheapOair that promised to collect the fee from the airline (charging $25.00) and requested submission of all documents that were provided on 3/13/2017. I didn't realize I was booking through OneTravel because of the way I entered my query for a flight. But anyway, I did it. Come to find out (later that day), their flight was WAY more expensive than I could get if I booked from the airline's website (which I thought I was on to begin with). They are horrible... Wanted to charge me $100 to cancel... That's what they call a "nominal charge". I got them down to $50, but I plan to let everyone know every chance I get. DON'T USE THESE CROOKS.

I'm concerned as they tell me it can take four weeks for the refund to appear in my account. Got into the ugliest service with this company. Had to call 4 time to get my itinerary changed back to normal waiting times (not 28 hours for a single layover). When calling the third time to find out if they took care of the change I got the answer that the airline is not working during the day (Pacific time) so I have to call in 4 day to check again if they were able to confirm the ticket... Insane - the ticket was purchased 7 months ago and confirmed. In just 2 weeks before the flight back they are telling me that they don't have the confirmation for me and are replying with the "excuse" that the airline is not working during the pacific daytime. I had to "fight" with them for a week to get the ticket confirmed with just 7 days before the flight back... Ohh yes and something with a flavor at the end... Crooks. Thieves. Scum. I fell for the oldest dishonest trick on the internet. I Googled the name of the airline company I wanted to purchase a ticket from. I wanted www.mokuleleairlines.com. When I got the list from Google, I clicked on the very first link which happened NOT to be the link for the airline's official website, but a OneTravel link that was disguised with the name of the airline company I wanted (www.mokulele-airlines.onetravel.com). Long story short, I ended paying $40 (28% more) through OneTravel. All this time I thought I was making my transaction on the Mokulele Airlines official website.
OneTravel's website advertised "24 hour cancellations", leading me to believe it was going to be free had I have to cancel. When I noticed I felt like an idiot, I called to cancel, but they wanted a $50 cancellation fee. (The fine print that I had not read before buying my tickets says that cancellations within four hours get a coupon for another purchase through OneTravel, and between 4 and 24 hours, the cancellation fee is $50). By the way, when you call customer service, they answer as "Cheapoair", so I bet you Cheapoair.com is another bull crap third party with crooks trying to steal from you.

My experience started when we booked an air ticket online (ONETRAVEL) to Mexico going thru Canada as a transit for couple hours and I called ahead of time if everything was fine and they said "you are good to go and well set for the trip" without mentioning that we needed a transit Visa to Canada. I did talk to them 3 hours before the flight and they said at that time "sorry and we apologize for the inconvenience and we will either refund it or get you a voucher for your next trip". I have been waiting for three weeks after not answering phone calls and e-mails. I do not know what their shady billing department is ALL ABOUT? After my email I received a ticket asking not to purchase other flights because my tickets MIGHT have been issued and they were not going to reimburse the money. Ok, I was fine with that since I had no reply to my email from them about payment problems.
After that, 2 days before the trip, I received an email from them saying that the ticket was CANCELED AT MY REQUEST!!! I called to let them know that I contacted them by email with no reply and they offered a ticket. Some 320 dollars more expensive or similar prices for OTHER DATES... I had to buy similar flights in another website at 300 dollars more than the original reservation and sent them an email complaining and asking them to take responsibility of this since they asked me to get in contact by email or phone (as stated in their email), I did do so by email and THEY NEVER ANSWERED...
I had two supervisors getting in contact by email and phone telling me they were going to review the situation until one day. They stopped answering emails and it is impossible to contact those supervisors by phone. If I try their phone number, I get CS agents that know nothing about this. So, as much as I buy a lot of air tickets, reserve hotels, etc... Will stay away from ONETRAVEL and CHEAPOAIR and will do as much as possible so others do not have this terrible experience. They do not even mind giving you and answer on this claim... #worstservice #Cheapoair #Onetravel

We purchase 7 tickets from and we ask for ANA airline. But they connect our flights with United Airline that we did not ask them. Also we request we need a flight that we can carry two luggage because we are going back home after 11 years. It's hard to carry one luggage with kids. Now we are paying extra for extra luggage. We did talk to them and they said "we will check the recording & we will call you back." And they gave us the day they will call us. No one called and then we called back and they repeat the audio the they we were asking price & everything. We will never buy a ticket from this site. That's why people check the reviews before they buy ticket - that thing I did not do before. Very, very bad experience.
