0 stars. I was sent several confirmation emails to an itinerary for a flight that doesn't exist. I have an email from OneTravel the day before my flight, saying flight tomorrow confirmed, and a wrong itinerary to the flight which actually purchased and no longer exists. No notification my flight has been changed, no updated flight times to my now 8 pm flight (instead of 7 am). HUGE inconvenience, waste of my time and money for driving/making new arrangements.

The price was less than other sites. BUT there is a service charge (which I didn't realize until I had booked the flight). I'll probably check them next time I need to book, but I'll make sure about the service charge before I confirm.

This is the most incompetent company I’ve ever dealt with. Besides every customer service rep giving different information, and no one seeming to understand how to solve any problem, just waited 21 minutes on hold to ask about a credit card I was approved for (but haven’t received) only to be told I wasn’t transferred to the right department. Of course the rep said “ma’am, you will only have to hold another 2 minutes to be transferred to the right department “. It’s been 10 so far. I would rather pay more for the ticket than go through the stress or frustration to save money. Go w/ CheapOair. They seem to be more competent and the prices are just as reasonable.

First of all, every time that I use OneTravel, I am added again to the spam emails. So every time that I their service, I receive more emails and I have to unsubscribe once again. Secondly, because of some price change on their end during my purchase, my booking did not go through while I was at the airport and I had to wait at the airport for 7 hours and pay $100 more for my flight. Additionally, in order to resolve the issue I had to call their customer service and it took an hour to resolve, stacking up $30 for me to make this international call.

I don't know European airlines and had to book a flight from Copenhagen to Brussels. So I went to OneTravel and found a good flight for my wife and I. I bought "flex flight" as an insurance. Wife couldn't take the flight and OneTravel refused to cancel or give credit for the flight. Then I looked at my credit card statement. They had taken four different amounts out of my account - one for each of our flights, a an amount for their own commission and another fee that the woman in their accounting office was unable to explain what it was for. In total, however, they were taking an extra 50% of what the airline was charging them! Next time, I will go directly to the airline.

This was my first time using OneTravel. I booked flights to Seattle to see the Rolling Stones ($511 pd on my credit card) however concert was postponed and I had to cancel my flights ($100 cancellation was pd at that time on my credit card). I then had a credit on my account for the full original amount to apply to new flights when booked. I was also told that when I re-booked I would have to call them (not do on-line) and pay a re-booking charge of $125 per ticket ($250). When I got my invoice after speaking with an agent I saw that I was charged $450 not the $250, I questioned their billing dept and was informed there is also a $100 per ticket agency charge when you book over the phone. So a $511 trip has now cost me $1061. Obviously I will not be using them again and thought I'd let everyone know that this is what happens if you change your tickets. I would of been better of to just not show up for my original flights.

I was not aware of this and it was may clearly explained to me. No I've been ripped off and it's too late as I authorized her to bill my card. I was told the $900+ was the cost of the airfare. It was not. I'm a disabled senior and not a seasoned traveler. Again ripped off.

My wife purchased a ticket back in March 2019 for a trip to El Paso Tx.... Was told the ticket was confirmed. Well, she checked her email and got a notification that her flight ticket was canceled. I called them and this is what the representative told me... Her ticket was canceled because she got it too cheap and that she could not get a new ticket now because every flight was “Sold Out”. The representative was so Very Rude to her, he just put her on hold and turned on the music. Anyways, I found a ticket for about $100 more than the cost they quoted her. It’s a shame we can’t leave a Minus Star for them because I would definitely leave a Minus 5 Star Review.

Cheap? Yes. You get what you paid for. In my experience, this travel agency does not take into account connecting flight requirements. During my last three flights using this agency, there was insufficient time to get to my connecting flights. True, the airlines would book me on next available flights, but in the last instance I spent 24 hours in five airports and five airplanes due to missed connection. Adding icing to the cake, the trip interruption insurance they sold me refused my claim when I was unable to make my return flight due to a storm. The cost is not worth the risk. I do give them high grades for customer service. Very nice people helping me deal with problems they caused.

I reserved with them for my husband and myself as I saw it was a good rate. Then as I did not take their flight insurance, they called me right away and were insisting that I needed it and kept telling me they would put in on the same card and would barely let me talk. I had to put down the phone and then they were calling me back again. They have a note on their website for any changes in the names. So only after you book they tell you the names have to be exact as your passport or it will not be valid. So I called about 3 days before the trip and they started out being nice but then got rude and said I should not have waited so long and that they would charge $75 each to put on our middle names. So I told them why they didn't tell me this before then and hung up. They tried calling me back. And I had no problem at all at the airport. This has not happened to me with travel providers before. I will never use them again for sure.

Used OneTravel to look for some flights, bought the best option that was presented to me which had 1 stop, with a clear message that cancellations can be done in the first 24 hours. I later found a much better flight for cheaper that was nonstop on another website- I tried doing it on OneTravel website and it found it (I don't know why it didn't recommend it to me in the first place), and when I tried to book it I would get an error. After 30 minutes of wrestling I gave up, went to the other airline website and got the better ticket.
When I called OneTravel later to cancel, they charged me a fee and I have still not got a confirmation that my refund is done. So I am out several thousand dollars and at their mercy. I have used OneTravel in the past, but will never do it again. Their customer service is not helpful and obviously don't care about retaining customers or about the customers' time or money, they are no longer a reputable professional company in my view. Never again.

The guy I spoke with wouldn’t shut up and let me talk. He kept asking me if he could help me with something else, I said, "No you didn’t help with this issue." Then he just kept making excuses. I am so frustrated. I will never use this site again. I ended up paying about $$45.00 per ticket more than what the site said it was and had to deal with a rude customer service agent. I selected two sets of round trip tickets on OneTravel’s website. Yes, the ticket prices posted were very good. After completing the purchase, OneTravel posted my itinerary. The connecting flight for our return trip was for the day following the first part of the trip. I called and received no explanation, acknowledgment of flight plan discrepancy or apology. These folks are well trained to deal with dissatisfied customers, following a scripted response heavily accented by their primary language (which is not English). I was told the only way to get the same day return connection flight I had chosen on their website was to pay $250 extra per ticket, which I said was unacceptable. Cancelling within the advertised 24 hr. cancellation window would cost $50 per ticket. I could change all the flights to the second travel day (the day of the second half of our return trip) for an additional $140 per person.
I asked how it was they could change my chosen and paid for flight plan and expect me to pay more to actually have it available to me. No response to that, merely a recycled “broken record” of what my options according to them were. The woman kept warning that I was in the last minutes of my 24 hrs to make changes or cancel. In the end, I told her I’d changed my mind, I didn’t trust them, and I would keep the arrangement as it was. I told her it would be cheaper to stay overnight than any of the options she was offering. She became a bit agitated, even offering me extra time to think about it, and then angry when I declined her offer, basically hanging up on me. So, I seem to have gotten the inexpensive ticket prices, with the slight inconvenience of staying a night in a hotel with airport shuttle service. STEER CLEAR OF THIS AGENCY is my advice..I certainly will.

I went in to book a flight with this company this morning. I chose my precise dates and times carefully as my flight has to correspond with my cruise dates. The rate was wonderful and I was extremely happy until I hit submit and the payment went through. Once I received the itinerary it was 3 days off from the dates I chose. I called and spoke to a representative that said the rates chosen were for flexible dates. I told her that there was nothing that indicated the dates were flexible. I booked for the 22nd they gave me the 19th. I told the lady I wanted to cancel since I did purchase the trip protection. She stated it would be 50.00 per ticket to cancel. I told her no way. She then stated she could try to get the dates that I asked for. (Imagine that.)
She came back to the phone and said that those days would be an additional $400.00. I told her that the company is using dishonest tactics. They give great rates and after you pay the dates mysteriously change. I asked for a supervisor spoke to Demetri. He cancelled my flight and told me it would be 3-14 days to get my money back. This is absolutely ridiculous and I will be reporting them to the BBB if my money is not in my account in 3 days.

One Travel and its sister company CheapOair prey on the unwary customer with clever marketing that presents them as a lower cost alternative but their fares are no better than those of comparable provicero. What makes One Travel truly different is their Third World quality customer service (wait times of 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours to get a representative on the phone for standard service and additional fees to get, in theory, faster service.) When calling or using the chat feature, dishonest attempts to prevent you from cancelling a reservation by claiming that a “service change team member” is working to resolve scheduling conflicts generated by carriers that they know cannot be resolved or callbacks they will never make or indolent follow up with carriers. All of them only leading you waste valuable time waiting or reaching back to them until it is too late for you to book a better alternative with a different providers to then being offered a higher cost solutions as your only option. (Twice the original cost in our case.)
Do not be foolish. Cut off any contact with them. There is no reason to have to pay for customer service to get normal customer service from somebody whose job is to deliver customer service as part of the sale of a product. If you want to use one of these services, use a well established relatively respectable firm like Orbitz which does not cut corners on staffing and technology in order to compensate for a business model based on high volume with low margins (which explains the catastrophic customer service and dishonest assurances).
This was our first and last use of this outfit. Frankly I would not trust anyone that does business with them either unless I knew them beforehand as I would not distrust them just based on their relationship with this company. I will be filing complaints with the State Consumer Affairs Department in Illinois and NY. Fortunately I kept it the chat transcripts. Somebody has to stop these people. Let them spend at least as much time answering the complaints as they made me waste on them.

As we were traveling with a small child, I asked for a supervisor. I was then transferred to an equally unsympathetic and arrogant individual, again with a poor command of English. This individual intimately provided the Delta confirmation code, ostensibly (and implied by him) to be able to directly select a seat assignment. I was unable to seat through Delta either. Save yourself the stress and use any other company! I booked round trip tickets to Peru a couple months before my trip. I kept getting text messages saying my flights have been changed and to contact the company immediately. I was receiving emails and they were changing my flights to ones with layovers that were way too short (less than an hour for international!) I would call and wait over 1/2 hour and no one would pick up. The one time I waited about 40 mins and someone did, they told me they could not help me! I ended up having to contact LATAM directly and they were able to change my flights correctly and confirm my bookings. Much more helpful.
I also did not receive any emails the day before to “check in” or remind me (nice for peace of mind). I honestly went to the airport hoping for the best, knowing I will never use this company again. Once I got to the airport all of the seats I confirmed weren’t saved and so I ended up in seats I didn’t want for super long flights. They are trying to tell me that I booked it that way. I have booked many round trips to LA and have never booked the wrong locations and the first time I use their site (and searching flights from YVR to LAX) this happens. Now I’m being told that I have to pay another $1000 to change the flights for the difference in flight prices and a $200 fee each person for changing the flight locations. That’s pretty much like getting a new set of tickets and losing out on the tickets I got with them (because they are non-refundable). This site is a joke and the “customer service” is horrible. I would extremely advise people to not ever use this site.
Now after reading all these reviews, seems like they are money scammers. I am at a loss what to do. I’m literally out $1000 because of their wonky booking site and their crappy customer service people who don’t have very good personal skills. Just rude and very hard to understand. If I have to get new tickets, I will NOT do it through them to change it because then they are just making money off me for the original tickets and then the extra money the charge for the change. They could have changed the flights for me and I would have paid the extra airfare but being charged $200 per person to even do the change is a money grab for sure. Such a scam company. No more than 15 seconds after I finished the booking, I received a call saying I needed the middle names on my tickets for an international flight. They went ahead and added them (as apparently I wasn't able to do so at this point). Afterwards informing me that the charge for them to add the names is $85.00 per person AND I CANT GET THE SAME FLIGHT.
I specifically chose that flight because the layover was in Toronto where I have family who were going to meet us and spend an evening with us before our 11 pm departure. The service rep didn't listen to my concerns and kept cutting me off and telling me it was all procedure. I understand there being a fee, but I would expect that if you're going to charge me just shy of $300 I would at least be on the initial flight I chose. Honestly, I would give half a star rating if it was an option. Absolutely, the worst customer service I've experienced in quite some time!
After waiting for 45 more minutes, I was finally able to speak to a manager. Unlike the rep I was speaking to, the manager was quite pleasant. She was able to change my flight to a better one than I had originally. Although I wasn't refunded any of my $257 it made it bearable that I at least get to visit my family. I don't agree with the amount charged. I am going to change my rating to 3 stars and strictly because the manager I spoke to showed empathy and put effort in to resolve things for me. It seems that he didn’t know that on one site there are option to change for many different currency. It's not the first time I bought it on US site. Maybe he tried to send me the message for I don’t use US site anymore?
When person on phone wasn’t helpful I try to send email to finally understand the actions that they made. They told me what “you had already been assisted”, basically they say, "What do you want?" If I would have been assisted would I write them? They think I have nothing to do? My brother is very sick. I want to go to see him maybe for the last time and they are making fun. They don’t want to admit that they made mistake and now they just want to get rid of me, it’s probably normal for them to charged extra not everybody checking, and not everyone are calling them back. They don’t care about customer - one customer more one less big deal!

Thank you for the care to keep us satisfied.

It is been for me two days discussing the possibility to change dates after bookings, and the fare rates provided were very high (~600$) more than the cost of the real ticket!! Changed my mind and thought of cancel the full booking! But the charge by default for OneTravel is 200$ to START the process of cancellation PLUS cancellation fees of the airlines. (That is higher than the fare provided if you are booking with the airline directly!) It ended-up to cancel or change. I will lose a range of 400$-600$! This is insane. ALTHOUGH I AM CANCELLING BEFORE more than a month of departure!!! I decided to keep the booking as is and change my plans! But I have regretted so much that I booked with OneTravel and will never recommend it or do it again!

This site is a scam disguised as a genuine site. Do not use it, cheap is expensive. They changed my flight 2 times, it affected my work schedule and peace of mind. Please contact the airline directly and tell them no one is authorized to act on your behalf and send them confirmation from OneTravel. Bad bad business ethics. Not with the savings. They pull you in with cheap prices and then change prices while you are in the booking process and already committed. These are unscrupulous agents in a foreign location, they probably hold your money and negotiate prices down and keep the difference. Beware!!!

We are travelling from Halifax to Quito, Ecuador tomorrow March 1st. Attempted to check in online and had issues. The originating airline mentioned it was due to OneTravel. I called American Airlines and then LATAM Airlines to find out why we couldn’t get seat assignment and LATAM told me that the company hadn’t verified our tickets and we wouldn’t get on the flight in Miami. I have now been on the phone and am still holding with OneTravel to sort this out (1.5 hours). They seem to take it very casually and assure us it is all sorted out. It was just a fortunate coincidence that I decided to call LATAM directly. I have dealt with OneTravel over the years and not had this kind of issue. If you have schedule changes our advice is to make sure the ticket has been confirmed with the airline after you agree to the changes.

I am most disappointed with OneTravel when using them to book a trip to Colorado. They double charged me for seat assignments and when I questioned it they threatened to cancel the ticket. They also included additional fees that were not displayed when I booked the flight and only after payment did they add them to the price as a separate charge. I sent an email to contest the charges but no response. Only when I had my credit card dispute the charge did they respond, again with threats to cancel the reservation. The customer service agent was very rude and aggressive on the phone and repeatedly made threats with no offer to negotiate. I will never use OneTravel again and would discourage any others to not do so as well. Ultimately there was no savings after they added another $100 to the total cost. Very disappointed...

But it all went great. When I booked the flights the customer service reps were very helpful and went over all information several times to make sure names and dates were correct. They also helped pre book our seats as I have little kids. I decided after our trip I would write a review and our trip went great. Both flights were exactly as booked. I was looking for a round-trip flights to Lyon, France for my husband, infant, and myself and only wanted main cabin seats that allows checked bags. So I went on their website, booked main cabinets, picked my seats, put in all the information (credit cards and passenger info); but the site said my transaction couldn't be completed. That is when a representative from OneTravel called me. The rep said she could help with booking.
I made sure to specifically confirmed with her that I am booking main cabins that allows me to pick my own seats. She also said they will waive the $32 travel assistance fee for people that over the phone instead of online. Since I was a customer for over 10 years, I constantly get emails with coupons. So I told the rep that I want to apply some of these coupons. But she said "don't worry, I already applied some coupons for you that provides me lower than normal prices."
Later when I got my email confirmation, I realized I didn't pick my seat and figured I would just be able to pick my seat on the website when I log into my existing registration. But it showed that I had economy seats and would have to pay an extra per person to select my own seat. By the way, the charge is also over $300 for economy for the same flights through other competitive sites. I called to tell them that these are not the seats I wanted and ask them to please cancel. I found out from my credit card transaction that they charged me the higher priced flights, $32 travel assistance fee, and $150 cancellation charge.

I just made an international flight reservation through OneTravel for my dad. I had never heard of OneTravel, but since I saw the "24 hour cancellation", I went ahead and I figured my dad did his own research (which he did not). After I booked the tickets, my dad realized that the names on the tickets were a bit different since my aunts have 2 middle names and the order on the tickets were different than the order on the Visa. We wanted everything to match to prevent complications down the road. I called after 10 minutes of booking the tickets. Was told that they can't just do a name change and needed to cancel and return the tickets to the airline and rebook for me.
I was put on hold for 5 minutes. The guy came back to the phone and told me there was a problem. He said that after he returned the tickets, he can no longer book them since they are no longer available. But wait for it, there are some tickets available at a later time. I told him that I am currently on OneTravel's website and it shows 5 seats available. He said it's because of my cookies. Told him I already cleared my cookies. Then he said it's because the airline might have different deals, but on his computer, it's real time information. That's some **! I am looking directly on their ONETRAVEL website. At this point, I was irritated. So he put me on hold again. Magically, when he came back to the phone, those original seats are now available and I had to pay $50 per name change. I had to do it within 4 hours and after 4 hours, it will be $75 per person. He was using the urgency scare tactic.
I told him since it has the 24 hour cancellation, cancel it for me and I will rebook myself. Well well...here comes some more bullcrap! YES...you can cancel within 24 hours, BUT IT IS NOT FREE!!! This is a deception!! If you're gonna say cancel within 24 hours, then you need to tell people there's a cost. Priceline, Expedia, etc...have 24 hour FREE cancellation and they advertise as such! If you do not allow 24 hour FREE cancellation, then CLEARLY state that and don't mislead people.
Back to my story, I was beyond upset and told the agent to leave my tickets alone and do not cancel them. I would need to discuss with my dad first. I repeated myself 3-4 times to make sure the tickets were not canceled and we weren't charged for anything. He confirmed with me that nothing was canceled. Interesting right? I thought he had returned the tickets to the airline and wasn't able to book for me on the same flight before. These people need to realize that people aren't stupid.

This company is engaging in unethical theft. They book flights on major airlines, then notify you the day of the flight that your reservation has changed, and then, when you call, they say the flight is cancelled when it is not, but what they have done is cancel your reservation and state that you have done so, but we did NOT cancel a flight, and they said we can't do anything and there is no refund, even though we purchased the ticket with insurance. The airline can't help because it wasn't book directly with them, so you eat the cost of your ticket, and wait... They are more than happy to offer you a flight out on same day, but the original $120 ticket they just cancelled and stole your money for is now a ticket available for $780. CRIMINALS!
Not only will I never buy an airline ticket through Expedia, Orbitz, CheapO, etc. again as these sites led us to this criminal fraudulent company, but I am writing the Better Business Bureau and every major hub website to let them know they are sending customers to someone who will take their money, book a flight, cancel it, not refund your money, and try to rip you off a second time. My very strong advice is to avoid this company at all costs; you may think you’re saying money but in the long run it may cost you. I bought an international ticket for my daughter to travel to the US from Australia and Cheapoair.com, (Onetravel.com) was the cheapest, so I booked it through them. Inadvertently, (and I genuinely don’t know whose mistake it was), her name was recorded incorrectly. Her middle name was included as part of her last name. When I discovered this, I wasn’t overly concerned as I assumed I could call and just get it changed. WOW, was I wrong. OneTravel were totally useless in every regard. After several long and unproductive calls, (with people who could hardly be understood because of strong, I think Indian accents), they said there was nothing they could do and I would have to call the airline to get it sorted.
I then called the airline, (Qantas) who were very friendly and as helpful as they could be, who said they had no way of helping and that this was my travel agents’ problem and that they could make the change quite easily. I ended up talking to Qantas several times as they were my only source of intelligent information on the subject. I kept calling OneTravel who continued to tell me they could do nothing, which was of course a bald-faced lie. I talked to supervisors, one of whom told me to cancel the ticket and start again. “This was the only way it could be fixed.” Doing this would have meant significant extra costs.
I then recalled OneTravel for the umpteenth time and refused to hang up until they helped. They then finally after much cajoling and frankly yelling and threatening on my part, said that if I sent a copy of my daughter's passport to them, their ‘Waivers Team’ could fix it, (just to remind you this is after telling me multiple times they could do nothing). I immediately sent them a copy of her passport and a week later received an email asking for US $100, but giving me no clue how to pay it. I then of course called them back (to the only number I could find - their reservations number) only to be told that they couldn’t help me and they would put me through to their ‘Waivers team.’ 40 minutes later I was told that the agent in the Waivers Team assigned to my case wasn’t there and they would call me back. I pleaded for them to give me the Waivers phone number, but they refused. Of course, I received no call.
I called them back the next day and the person I talked to told me he didn’t have the ability to transfer me to the Waivers Team, which of course was another lie. After a heated argument I asked to talk to his supervisor at which point he suddenly found a way to transfer me to the Waivers Team as a “once off never to be repeated transfer.” After another lengthy discussion with the Waivers Team he took my credit card details and said he would make the change, which was completed within 48 hours. After months of arguing and lengthy expensive phone calls and many hours of my time, it was done; what a debacle! Avoid this mob at all costs!

I do so, and find out that my flight went from $214 to $375.
I called the next day to get my fare back, and was informed that there was "nothing they could do" because fares are "subject to change." I BOOKED MY FLIGHT AND RECEIVED CONFIRMATION, THAT SHOULD BE GUARANTEED. When I called, they also tried telling me that my card was declined due to insufficient funds (which was **- I had just paid my credit card to zero, as I do monthly), and when I spoke to a manager, SHE tried to tell me it was because I entered my expiry date incorrectly.
Now, they did call me later on the 23rd to inform me that there was a problem with my card, but I never received that message due to the holidays and I was heading out of town. So, I give them that credit. But, them trying to lie to me and tell me it was my fault or my credit card's fault (called Mastercard, they never got a charge from OneTravel nor rejected any) and not taking any responsibility is unacceptable. I booked tickets for my grandmother's US visit. Initially only the visit plan to the US was finalized but for paperwork two way ticket was required. So I wanted to purchase the return ticket with the option of cancellation and/or changes. That was the reason. Instead of booking online I called OneTravel and explained the situation to the representative multiple times. The representative told me if I purchased a plan it'd allow me to cancel, change date or flights altogether as needed. Thus I purchased the plan he offered me. Later I found a relative returning to back via different flight on a different date. I tried to get my grandmother's flight changed to the same one. Understandably, I thought it'd be easier for my elderly grandmother to go back with someone than by herself.
When I called OneTravel I was told the situation was not like what the representative had initially told me. I was told change or cancellation would not be possible by one representative, later given details of insurance company to call which I did. The insurance company asked me to file a claim which required complicated justification. I called OneTravel again and then was explained how insurance worked, how airlines had policies etc. I did not require lessons on that. I very well understand how companies including airlines have policies. Later I talked to a supervisor who told me flight change would be possible but I would have to pay the fees. What was the point of me paying for the initial fee which I was told would allow me to make changes?
My concern here is OneTravel representative lied to make me pay extra which is straight fraud. Now instead of taking responsibility and correcting the mistake OneTravel is trying to exploit and use the situation to extract more money. I am tired of talking to representatives who don't have much authority and just simply say what they are told to. I was rude because of the frustration but I didn't get helpful responses from the beginning from representatives either. I have a fair ask, I shouldn't have to pay the change fees because of the lies or lack of training of the initial representative.

I pleaded with her, told her I have no home to go to, she’s not even giving me a second option. She’s just flat out telling me I have to keep this ticket. I found it extremely insensitive and rude what she was saying to me.
I then wrote ONETRAVEL a very lengthy complaint to which a manager called me back and offered me a partial credit, partial refund. Well that was too good to be true. I should have just ATE the credit because here I am again dealing with once again HORRIBLE customer service. I called and rebook my ticket to Dominica a year later using my credit, I received a *ticket confirmed* email and even paid an additional $180 fee to make up the amount and get everything booked.
Fast forward to the day I am returning from my trip Oct 30, I get to the airport only to discover that there is no seat for me on the flight due to my ticket never being paid for. When I asked the ticket agent to elaborate he tells me that my ticket was never paid for by ONETRAVEL and was therefore canceled. I immediate pick up the phone and call ONETRAVEL, after going back and forth with an incompetent agent who could not find my booking I finally got a manager on the phone who was able to find it immediately. He then proceeds to tell me the reason my ticket was not booked was because my credit expired so no ticket could be booked with it… “Huh?” I had confirmation emails and great email proof that I had a booked ticket even though he said he sees no such emails in the systems.
I then proceed to read the emails to him to which he responds “Ohhh I see them now”. This went on for about an hour all while I am standing in the airport, my flight is now on the ground and now the ticket agent is holding the flight while ONETRAVEL figures it out. The agent held the flight for 30 mins and when he couldn’t hold it anymore he stated that he could get me on the flight to Antigua but the flight to San Juan was full because my seat was never held by ONETRAVEL.
If I missed this flight the next flight out wouldn’t be for another week. I needed to get off the island so I paid $340.66 to get out of Dominica. When I got to Antigua the flight to San Juan was of course full and they advised me that the only thing they could do is send me back to Dominica, not happening. I then had to purchase a ticket from Antigua to Miami for $648.93. I AM ANNOYED!!! When you book and pay for a ticket the last thing that you expect is to show up to an airport and not have one!!!
I get back to the US and immediately call ONETRAVEL to explain the situation, right away they let me know that this has been sent to a manager and that they need me to allow 72 hours to investigate… That 72 hours lead to 5 different managers, now going on 35 DAYS. Every time I call I have to speak with a different manager, explain the case all over again, then I am asked for more time.
Finally a manager called me back and said that they would be willing to refund me $340.66 but not the rest because the airline booked me on a full flight. IT'S BETTER THAN THE FLY YOU COMPLETELY DID NOT BOOK ME ON. This isn’t my fault, it's not the airline's fault... IT'S YOUR FAULT and I would like to be reimbursed. Such an inconvenience, and unnecessary stress when traveling. People give their money to you and trust you for a service and you let them down this way. It isn’t cool. 35 days later all this stress and I still cannot get an inch of customer service or someone to sympathize with me on this and do the right thing! You should be ashamed of yourself as a company and a brand and stop stealing your customer’s money!!!

I have booked 2 tickets for my wife and I to CA from Boston in OneTravel. However, when I open the email for the purchasing the flight tickets confirmation before 3 days earlier of the flight and found that my wife's first name in the confirmation email is shorter. Then I have called the customer service to make the correction. The first representation in the OneTravel customer service is a female and told me that it needs surcharge $75 to make the name correction. Then I have called the customer service of the airline. They have told me that it is very easy to make the name correction, but you have to go through agency, OneTravel. Then I called back to OneTravel, the second people in OneTravel has told me that the surcharge is $150 to make the name correction. I am very frustrated.
The surcharge is not the same in the company. That is the OneTravel does not have the clear surcharge policy. Also, the second agent in the customer service of OneTravel also told that even though I have paid the surcharge they may not make the name correction. And then I called back with another agent, this agent has good attitude and call airline customer service. After I have waited for half hour and he has the response that he can not make the name correction even though I would paid the surcharge due to airline's policy.
In the second day, I have called the airline customer service again. It takes 3 minutes to make the name correction in the airline with ticket of the flight back from CA to Boston without any surcharge. For flight ticket from Boston to CA, which is from another airline, after I have told them my experience with OneTravel, the customer service in the airline also has made the name correction without any surcharge. When I have talked to customer service in OneTravel, they are in India not in US. They have very bad attitude. The customer service in both airlines are in US have very good service attitude.

And when I called them, they just told me “so, did you want to change or cancel?“ Yes! The way they worked on me. One more thing, they never told me “I need to pay the service fee“ and they took me more $80. They just told me how much I need to pay and pay more for the ticket. When I booked each ticket I made sure to do it back to back to make sure I could get the seats together. They even charged me for the upgraded seat. After I was finished, I received an email that the seat for one of my people could not be guaranteed and to call to get it reserved in another seat. When I called, they told me I was given another seat but it was not the upgraded seat. I was not offered a refund or explanation. They were rude and did not want to help me in any way. I was fortunate to find out 2 days before or I would have just appeared at the Cyprus Airport with NO FLIGHT!! Then, when I contacted them, they kept saying they would offer me options but NEVER got back to me with any alternate flight so we were stranded in Larnaca, Cyprus with no flight back to Heathrow - which we had paid for. I would gladly have paid the difference if they had only cared enough to find another flight to get us back to London but they obviously do not give a damn about their customers and should be shut down before they take advantage of other innocent, unsuspecting people.

This is Laara who posted a few reviews back. After two weeks, I DID get all my money back, except for the $12.00 service fee ($16.00 CAM) which they told me I would be charged. So I take it back -- they are not liars and thieves and I apologize for the name-calling. (Someone called me re: that review, to tell me there was still an amount coming to me, although it had not shown up in 'pending' or on my card for another few days after this call.) It WAS a very frustrating experience to deal with this company and their service representatives, and for the way they broke up the charges for flight and car rental into about six separate transactions each, some of them showing up as 'pending', others going straight onto my card, and I have no idea what these amounts represent, then refunds coming in different amounts and at different times, appearing and disappearing until the process was over.
When I added and subtracted all the amounts, I was satisfied that in the end, I had been charged only a service fee. So I am grateful. Still, I don't want that experience ever again. Throughout this experience, I got very nervous that they had my credit card information and -- is there a term? -- I would call it Credit Card Abuse, what they did. And they misled me by telling me the amounts were in Canadian currency, when they were not. So I apologize for my earlier review, but I'm pretty sure they won't apologize for the extended period of anxiety and fear they caused me!

When I booked my flight and rental car, I was assured (I asked at least three times) that the cost was in Canadian funds. When the amounts immediately appeared on my credit card, I was charged in American money. For me that's another 28 cents per dollar (+450.00) so I called right away to cancel. The refund came back in various smaller amounts, and new charges kept showing up in the "pending" area of my credit card. I phoned again a day later to question this. I was assured that all the money (except for a service fee of $12.00) was on its way, I just had to be patient. A week later it looks like the activity has stopped and when I add up all the debits and credits, they have kept $38.00. I will not deal with them again -- SO RUDE on the phone -- but my guess is this is how they make money -- by lying and cheating people. Don't deal with this company. They don't give a ** about you.

As I was a Candian, living in Canada, buying a ticket for a Canadian Airline, to and from a Canadian city, I was choked to later find that the ticket price was in foreign currency (US $ of course). In addition, they charged me for seat selection and travel insurance, neither of which I knowingly signed up for. (All in the fine print apparently) They suggested that I should have used OneTravel.ca, (who of course was not the link). After an hour on the phone, they agreed to remove their service charges only. I said I need a flight for the 1st to the 5th. I then booked the flight then, a car reservation for Aug 1st to the 5th. Enterprise airport car rental, asked me to send them proof of my flight reservation. That's when I noticed the wrong dates. I then got in my car and drive there.
Long story short, I attempted to get a refund and although they were unable to produce a date from the call they took no responsibility and were not willing to refund me after I finally had a enough of the inhumanity speech, I then let them have it. They bonded me around and still no resolve and in order to get a refund I would have to lie and expose my friend's personal information. To receive $220.00, which I am not willing to do. My advice never go for the cheaper ticket and lesson learned. Have them repeat your dates, so you know that you both are on the same page. When you have an emergency, Breathe first and then make your arrangements. People will take advantage of you in a time where you need help. Today is 9/18/2018. P.s this is not a one???

My friends and family moved to Leon Mexico, GTO, and I have been 3 times before so I do know where I am going. During these lengthy calls with a service rep I told her I need to travel to Leon Mexico Feb/2017. Replied, "Ok you changes planes in Dallas TX." That should have be it. But I never got an email. Calling them several times. Now this is the stupid part, service rep says, "Monterrey MX." l said, "No no Leon MX," "Yes yes I know." Me, "Ok why are you saying Monterrey thinking this is in France." Not sure. I told my Mexican friend he said, "No no that's far," I know she's nut.
Again I called back. LEON MEXICO city Monterey, getting paid in head. Now this happens several times. Again she says it... WTF, now I'm brainwashed believing that's the name of the airport but not before. I leave Feb 23/2017 @ 9;45 am. On flight I was actually having permission of a disaster. "Dallas there's no flight to Leon today." Very very pissed. How can they actually be so stupid to send me to wrong state. My friend said it was to at bad road to drive. So I buy another ticket for about $700US. I went to use my CC. Would not work. I call them. I said I paid it all off, "yes but you're 2 months late." I'm stuck here. I had to use my spending money. May I state I was just getting over a con brain infection and this was not good. I'm on ODSP. I then bought a ticket for next day, had to pay for hotel, food and taxi who actually tried to kidnap me. I arrive next day very distressed and had an effect on my vacation.
I was to stay 1 month but running out of money. I left in 2 weeks later. I also called them when I was there, no help. On return few weeks I started calling them, they lie really bad and promise to follow up. Months go on and l remember about the tapes. I listened. I hear Monterrey and me saying, What ** wrong with you?" Now the manager stops it, "you see you said Monterrey #87** ya don't want to go." Later I asked to her and get copies, they don't have. They to keep tapes 2 yrs. I CLAIM FOR ADDITIONAL AIRFARE DUE TO THE MISTAKES 700$, HOTEL 125$, FOOD 50$, LOSS OF ENJOYMENT OF SHORTEN TRIP 1000 per week x $2000, $2875, $417.75, $3292.75, 1 yr annual interest @ 5% 165.00 == $3457.75.

I call or “Chatted” with them from @12:30 until @5:30 and have gotten nowhere. Once again they blame the airline. Booked an airfare on July 9/18. Received my credit card bill and it was $122.34 more than on my ticket. I called them and they said it was converted to US funds. I said I am not flying to the states but flying within Canada. They said it was a US site as it was .com. When I booked my flight, I went to CheapOair and it brought me to this site. I did not see anything about being charged US funds. Very disturbing. One would think when you are in Canada and looking for a site it would come up with a Canadian site not an American one. Guess it is the wonderful world of internet. I could see if I was travelling to the states being charged... just makes me angry. When arriving at the site, it should state at the top that you are being charged for US funds... just another scam to make more money... shame on them! Will never deal with them again.

Please do not, I repeat do not ever book with this site. They charge fees for everything. I mistakenly booked my flight for the wrong day, my fault. I wasn't paying attention, but mistakes happen. I called the company to cancel, they instead pushed me to just change the dates. Originally they couldn't find me a similar flight on my preferred day so I attempted to just cancel the flight. They stated it would be a $75 charge to cancel. Uh really? The whole purpose of booking on the flight was for the cheap rate so that would defeat the purpose. So I decided to look long and hard to the next comparable flight and rate and found one with the longest layover in history, smh but still changed the flight. I wasn't satisfied though.
So, I then decided to continuously look day and night for the prices to drop for the price match guarantee. I finally found another flight for cheaper, I looked on the airlines website and it was even cheaper than what was listed on OneTravel. So, I called them again, attempting to change and they said it would be $50 dollar increase. Are you serious? On the site it says something completely different. Don't you guys have the updated prices in front of you? I then tried to cancel again, and this time they said it would be a $50 cancellation fee. Why does it keep changing? Anyways I explained the cheaper price on the website and then on the airline site, finally they decided to refund me the cost of the ticket difference, but not without a stupid fee included. Not worth the hassle. I won't ever get caught slipping booking on this type of site again.

Called One Travel back to change this in less than 10 minutes of booking, they are now going to charge me an extra 99.00 dollars, yet on their site the same date and time is the same price as what I had paid. Yet they said you can cancel 24 hours within booking time for free. Yet you still have to pay cancellation fee! What gives with this. What a ripoff.

Ok, leave it then but found missing middle name - can't help anything unless pay money. (Myself, booked and travelling, first time of this kind of problem).
Booked a ticket 2 months early and paid for a seat for long flight and they'd confirmed, Then got an email that canceled the seat and refund just 4 hrs before departure time. A friend also noticed middle name is missing couple day before departure date, they helped nothing but money and best advice they gave was cancel (they will refund less than half what he paid) and buy another ticket/same date time with over-priced, hella load of help. (My friend booked himself all the time over 14 years and his first problem).
Domestic flight, booked morning flight, got confirmation email with evening flight, called and explained, nope, can't help anything unless pay money. (Myself, booked and travelling, first time of this kind of problem). So, I asked please cancel my booking and don't charge me 'cause within 1 hr, not my mistake and their technical problem or maybe their mistake with purpose or I dont know 'cause too many coincidences in many bookings. I didn't realize early I was booking with a same company, I just Google and chose a lowest price and they are usually lowest. Finally I learned, maybe they bait lowest price and scam people. Reviewed July 3, 2018
Back in February 2018 I was booking an international travel for the entire family including all grandparents. I tried to do it online but because of the infant involved in different itineraries with different adults I couldn’t book it online, so I called OneTravel. After over 2 hours on the phone agent assured me that all tickets are issued and all I have to do is call the number provided and add the infant to the reservations. Prices that he quoted to me were higher than what I saw online, however I thought this happened because infant was added.
To my surprise when I called to add the infant I was told that it will cost me $180 for each itinerary. I said, "No thank you," and called in to cancel all reservations as all bookings can be cancelled free within 24 hours right? Wrong! I called 40 minutes later and cancellation fees were $75 per passenger per leg of travel, in my case $1200. When I said: “how is it possible, you advertise free cancellation?” The agent told me: “Do you think agents time is free?” I asked to be connected to the supervisor and started to look at fine prints and of course found the cancellation fees. However I also found that they will match the cheapest price within 24 hours of booking. And my price was already higher than on other sites as I thought it was due to infant. The agent was able to match some of the prices but not tickets with the infant as she said it’s not possible because she is adding the infant manually and it is not the option.
So after another 2 hours I thought that this booking from hell is over, nope not quite there yet. In the middle of May I wanted to send everyone copies of itineraries for the upcoming July trip and noted that there is no infant on any of the tickets. Called the airlines and they confirmed that none of the reservations has infant. Called OneTravel and they said that for some reason the infant reservations were cancelled by the airline. After several weeks of going back and forth with airlines and OneTravel, listening for the entire initial call, doing a three way call with airline and OneTravel, OneTravel admitted that they did not book the ticket correctly and are willing to help me with the reservations.
Finally in June I received a phone call saying that infant was added, however infant's name was spelled incorrectly which I informed the agent immediately. Agent said: “Well now it is whole new issue,” and she needs to call me back. 10 days later of unreturned phone calls to direct number provided, I called the main line again and agent assured me that everything will be fine and all what he needs is copy of infant's passport. The first trip was scheduled on Monday July 2, 2018. Was emailing agent every other day, no response, was calling the main line and was heard that agent is working on it and they will get to me shortly.
Finally on Friday June 29, 2018 I received a phone call from the same agent who was not responding to my emails saying that he is still working on it and will update me shortly. Oh, and forgot to mention that every time you are calling OneTravel they have to connect you to the supervisor and wait time can be from 20 minute to over an hour, sometimes you just get disconnected during the supervisor's review of your case and nobody will call you back, although they are asking for a good call back number.
Around 6 O’clock on Friday agent called me back and told me that there is nothing can be done and he is done dealing with those airlines. They can issue me a refund for the infant tickets. Well the issue with that was that the only way to buy an infant ticket is to purchase new adult ticket with infant added again. No need to say that I spent all weekend to resolve this, the final answer was that name can be changed at the airport. Went to the airport 5 hours prior to departure and was informed that name could not be changed, they can issue the ticket as is and it will be up to TCA to let us in on the flight or not. Thank God, TCA did let us in and we are finally there, but name for upcoming itinerary in August is still not changed and I’m not sure if we still be as lucky crossing the border.
Last agent to whom I spoke on Sunday was absolutely rude saying that he did so much for me going above and beyond his duties and I’m not appreciative and understanding. Because I kept saying that I was told by the airlines that I cannot change the name at the airport. Offered me cancel a ticket for refund, said that he does not have last name or direct extension. He even called me on Monday July 2 asking if we were able to change the name at the airport. When I said no, and it will up to TCA to let us in or not, he said he will call me back to ensure that we are on the flight. Did receive a phone call from someone else later and I asked him just to take care of the name change for next booking. UPDATES – none.

Customer service said it was because the flight sold out in the two minutes it took me to book it. They said that was the current price. I had them on the phone when I checked again and the same flight was still available on their page. They said it was a glitch. Refreshed the page and the same flight went up to $119.00. This led to a debate about fluctuating prices. I refreshed it again and the original $86.00 flight showed up.
They would not honor their web pricing and it took a lot of effort to cancel the flight that took me two minutes to book and 45 to cancel. They said we would need to pay for new tickets on a different airline, and wait for a refund from the original airline, they couldn't transfer the payment.
I was assured by the customer service representative AND his supervisor that the refund was processed. I did not book a new return flight with them, I contacted another airline directly and booked through them, which saved $40. After FIFTEEN days, I was still without a refund. That was weird to me because I have never received a confirmation like that and I thought they were nice. Well, when you call them to fix it, they charge you $75 fee (the ticket was around $100) just for adding a letter that now I am super sure they did that on purpose to charge you more. They even call you and email asking for you to pay that fee. My sister made a mistake with a name (and she admitted she did it wrong), called American Airlines and they fix it for free. We booked our flights back in January to go to Oslo for one day and night, and then from there to go to our family in Gdańsk Poland (sick grandparents, other people we haven’t seen in a long time, etc etc etc). We get to the airport to check in for our 7 pm flight and it turns out our flight already left at 4???? We immediately call and they try to guilt us and make it seem like they sent us an email to let us know that our flight time had changed (they hadn’t, the last email they sent was the day prior sending us our itinerary, which still even now says 7 pm).
We spent over 3 hours on the phone with them, kept being put on hold and told that not only would the call be charged to us but that we would have to pay extra for a one way flight to Europe. We finally ended up having to pay for a flight to Copenhagen, then to Oslo, on top of that we had to cancel our previous hotel plans in Oslo and pay for a new one since otherwise we would be stuck in Oslo airport for over an entire night. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever witnessed and if they continue to refuse to pay for all the extra money we had to spend in the last few hours, they absolutely will be hearing from my lawyer very soon. Recently, my wife needed to return to Ukraine, due a family health emergency. I booked and paid for her ticket, that left Christchurch NZ, with a transit layover in Sydney Australia, of 3.30 hours. OneTravel, site, did not state or list that citizens from Ukraine and some other countries require a transit visa, to pass through Australia. This requirement is listed on their site for all other countries, where a transit visa is required. At the Christchurch airport, my wife was refused passage, because she did not have this travel visa. The airline was quite within its right to refuse her, however, to obtain an Australian transit visa, an application must be made to a commercial agency in Auckland NZ, that is only open, Monday to Friday 9 to 5.
The process to be issued a transit visa, takes 7 to 10 working days, plus postage time, and attracts a charge for this service. - ( The Australian government states that a transit visa can be obtain through their embassy free, but again takes 7 to 10 working days, plus postage time. I attempted to contact up to 10 advertised 24/7 emergency response numbers for OneTravel booking agency -- but everyone had the same recorded message - "nobody is availiable to take your call, so please call back another time" -or- "The number you are trying to reach is dis-connected, please check the number and try again." So my wife could not travel. During my mounting frustration, I found an email address, to direct emergency questions to, for assistance to, but, it took 3 days to get a response.
The airline that was the on-going travel from Sydney Australia to Ukraine, did list a emergency telephone number to contact, and when I explained the problem my wife was experiencing, they noted that she would not be able to proceed with their airline. I had previously advised the NZ section of the travel, Virgin airlines, that obviously my wife's ticket must be cancelled. I also sent an email to the on-going airline "Qatar airlines" as a follow up to the cancellation. I also sent an email to OneTravel booking agency confirming the cancellation of my wife's ticket, caused by the un-advertised travel restrictions. All these cancelation advices were done within 24 hours of my wife's travel being denied. What followed was for a period of over 30 odd days, after I advised I would cancel the visa credit card charges, was a large number of "please be patient and don't cancel the debit emails, we are working on a solution to your problem".
At the end of this period, and after I had received 2 telephone calls - (they stated they had attempted to make 5 others) - I was informed, that "due to the time delays, you took to notify us of the cancellations, we believe the airlines, may not issue you with a full refund." Then came the 2nd call, in which they stated, " your refund will be only approx 50% of what you paid, but be advised this refund may take up to 2 billing cycles for us to process." It was OneTravel booking agency that caused the problem by not advertising of transit visa requirements, and it was their delays, that resulted in a refund, not being able to given in full. 2 months after the intended travel by my wife, I received a 50% refund.
Both Visa inc, and my bank, ANZ, that advertise a resolution, will be resolved within 20 working days, for credit card disputes, also failed to give any customer assistance, towards the refund, even though, they were kept totally informed of the "fiasco" by OneTravel booking agency, at all times. Conversations I have had with other independent travel agencies, say, that OneTravel booking agency is well known for defrauding travelers, but, the credit card companies, and the banks, do absolutely nothing, about it. Many airline travelers, are can also be subjected to ticket cancellation, immediately at departure time because the airlines have previously cancelled their tickets with One Travel booking agency, due the price that OneTravel charged, cannot be honoured by the airline, as it is financially un-viable for the airline to do so. They refer to OneTravel booking agency as --- "a scam ". (I cannot help but agree, as this communique so explains).

When I called the OneTravel customer service a service rep with very heavy Indian accent English right away he ask me to give him a credit card to charge $500 so I can take the next flight to overseas but, when I asked what flight or what class and do I get to have refund or at least partial refund of my airplane ticket he spoke to me the English that I really don't understand then he put me on hold for over 20 minutes until I was totally frustrated and hung up and purchased a new airplane ticket from the airline. After this incident I will never trusted the internet travel agency again. I rather purchase airplane ticket directly from the airline or local travel agency.
In looking into your concerns I find your reservation booked through us for travel between San Francisco and Hong Kong. for April. I believe that your Southwest flight may have been booked elsewhere. We show no agents opened your reservation between February 1, 2018 and today May 17,2018 when I opened the reservation. Could you possibly have contacted the airline instead of our office or is there a different booking that I should be looking at?

I placed 3 flights with this company and at the end I realized the prices did not include baggage and seats. Since I am flying with my children I wanted to be prepared, so I wanted to cancel these flights and book directly with the airline. I booked three flights more than a month away and I canceled them within three hours of paying and they charged me $100.00 to cancel the flights. $100.00!!! It is absurd and ridiculous that they would charge for a cancellation within 24 hours. I would NEVER recommend this company to my enemies let alone someone I know. You will have better luck and save money by booking direct with the airline that they are offering discounts for.
Updated on 05/30/2018: I wrote a review a couple weeks ago about my experience of them ripping me off. After I wrote the review I will say that a manager did call me and agreed to refund all of my money including the "restocking fees." While I am still not happy with the policy I do appreciate that they accommodated me and in return I wanted to revise my review. Look before you purchase. When I ordered my flights from the airline direct, the cost was about $100.00 more, but I was able to choose my seats and add my luggage, which was not as easy on the OneTravel website.

I can’t believe that I used online page to buy my ticket on beginning of last year 2017 and in December 2017 OneTravel emailed me that the airlines had stopped operation and I have to go directly to Santa Barbara. I bought an airline ticket through OneTravel.com. However, I could not use the ticket due to the hurricanes in the Caribbean in 2017 because my cruise line changed the ports of call. I called Onetravel to request in writing that the air tickets were non-refundable and that I did not receive any future travel benefits from OneTravel so that I can claim a refund. They refused to send me such an e-mail. I asked if I could explain the situation to a supervisor, they placed my call on hold TWICE for over 45 minutes. I am never again dealing with them if they cannot simply write an e-mail saying my ticket was non-refundable and they did not credit my account in any way. Horrible company.

The window changed, and message "We don't sell flights from the chosen city or airport"!!! appeared. I didn't know what to do, stayed with that window, thinking that I have already exposed my card details.
1 minute later a lady with an Indian accent called from the US number, and said that she is sorry, the flight is not available anymore at this price, but I can still book the same flight for 1,200 US$ (342 US$ more!!!). Or I can fly with another airline, for cheaper, but the flight duration is longer. I asked "How it is possible that the flight was available 5 minutes ago, and now is not?" She said "The flights can change in 1 second". She still tried to sell me more expensive ticket, which I refused. 5 minutes later I booked the same flights directly on Turkish Airline for much less money than she was trying to sell to me. Scum, 100 percent scum. I would give them 0 star rating, if I could.

I have just booked a flight with OneTravel. I am in Canada and I booked a flight on a Canadian airline for a flight within Canada. Nowhere on the site did it mention US funds for this Canadian air travel. My credit card was billed in US funds and I of course paid MUCH more than I would have if I had booked directly with the airline. When I asked to execute the 24 cancellation only 30 minutes after I booked the flight I was told it would be $50 per passenger to cancel. When I asked to price match, they said they said they would not match the price due to the price being Canadian - of course I would have expected the exchange rate with a fee to be considered, but no... so I am stuck with tickets that cost over $100 more per ticket than I would have paid if I had booked directly with the airline. OneTravel is out to get you.

I made trip reservations to go south for a few weeks this winter and purchased the trip protection plan. I asked the salesperson what this protection covers and they told me 100 percent of the cost provided it was a covered reason. I was told this by other agents as well. Well my luck changed as I needed to have some surgery and it was to be done on the day after we were to fly out. Saying to myself that purchasing this insurance was a good idea. What a nightmare it turned out to be. I had to file a claim with all the documents which I did.
They only covered about half the amount I spent on the trip. I had the booking company telling me it should be 100% coverage but also had the insurance provider telling me it only covers the airfare. I had them telling me you need to get in touch with the booking company and the other telling me you need to get in touch with the insurance provider. I've been back and forth with them both for over 2 months. The last call to the booking company they told me a manager will call me back in 2 hours! It's been 2 days! Try to call there and talk to the same person, never happen! If you are buying a trip protection plan, ask them the full details of the plan and to also send you an email with the plan. Good Luck!

When dealing with this third party travel booking site, you will find the absolute cheapest air fares. BUT Beware! They will not bother to tell you that you will be paying hidden charges. I am ashamed to say that it took three vacation bookings to realize how you are not really getting what you paid them for. I was attracted to their very reasonable cancellation insurance. I suppose I never took the time to read all the fine print. I see on the blog -847 complaints about OneTravel - that the insurance they offer is not worth pointing off the agreement- as they Never honor the agreement. My first bad experience was the first airline booking with Sata Air. The four travelers paid $55 to OneTravel to book our four seats on the plane. When we checked in our seats had never been reserved and we forced to take terrible seats in the back of the aircraft. When we attempted to contact OneTravel seeking a refund, this group would never respond to our e-mails.
The next trip - in March 2018, we got apparently very good airfares through TAP Airline. However, when we checked in, we had to pay an additional $125 per checked bags ($440 each way for the four travelers) even though the information supplied by the OneTravel website regarding luggage on TAP indicated the first checked bag was free. The Tap check-in people told us the carry-ons and the first checked bag are free for normal passengers, but not for those who purchased discounted fares through a third party travel agency. They also told us that our third party ticket provider was obligated to inform us that the luggage was an additional charge; they provided us receipts for our luggage charge, so we could seek a refund from our OneTravel ticket provider. We have sent our complaint to OneTravel and they have never responded! It appears we may have to go through the court to get results or at least a response from this operator.
The other couple traveling with us, had booked a hotel for two night on our way home to extend their vacation. But early in the vacation, they experienced a medical emergency that made the vacation extension impossible. They advised OneTravel by E-Mail of their situation, cancelling the booking and asking to be refunded. OneTravel did not cancel the booking nor respond to their e-Mail. They are very frustrating to deal with- their contact phone numbers listed on the website does not work from Portugal. I hope this report will help others from being duped by this deceptive travel provider.

“SKETCHY” doesn’t even begin to describe this company!!! We had a family emergency in Puerto Rico right after Hurricane Maria. As soon as we heard the airport was re-opening we went online to book our flight. Onetravel came up with what we thought was the best price. Unfortunately we booked through them. It took us several times of putting in our credit card info to only have the next screen come up that said “that flight is no longer available”. Of course every single time it happened the price kept rising. We finally got one to go through. We THOUGHT we were good. We got our email confirmation right away only to find they changed the dates on us. Our dates were NOT flexible.
We immediately called and spoke with an agent. She told us she could change us to the correct dates for an additional $163. We asked to just cancel the flight. She told us she could cancel the flight for us but there are no refunds. So much for their “Book with confidence” slogan! You can book with confidence, they will cancel you if you need to within their 24 hours, but don’t expect them to refund your money!!!! The girl asked what we wanted to do. Our choices were cancel the flight and lose our $400+ that we already paid OR pay the $163 charge to change to the correct date.
This all happened within 16 MINUTES!!! It's not like it was the next day. It was SIXTEEN MINUTES. Oh and like others have said…Beware of their extra charges. This $450 ticket ended up costing us over $800 once they added all their fees on there. This company is a TOTAL SCAM. Don’t get sucked in. Spend the extra $50 up front from a reputable company. I purchased airline tickets from this company and unknowingly when I booked my flights for my ENTIRE FAMILY 6 tickets total I also agreed to a “cheaper flight option” where they will email you cheaper flights around the dates you booked to get you the lowest rate and your flight will be changed to that instead of what you originally booked and you receive an email and you must decline that alternate cheaper flight within 24 hours. I have never heard of this or was aware that was a possibility so was not checking for any email notifications for this and received several emails a day with deals they have so this email went unnoticed to me. I went to print out my airline tickets since I was supposed to be leaving in two weeks for our vacation. I then realized the date on the tickets was not the dates I had booked. Both departing and returning flights were different and I was changed to a one day flight returning the next day.
When I contacted this company and spoke to several representatives all of which barely spoke English and were very difficult to understand I was informed I unknowingly agreed to this “cheaper flight” option and that I could possibly change the dates to what I originally booked with a 200.00 change fee and the ticket difference fee which averaged in total to 5,000.00 along with what I originally paid for the tickets...
With that being said there were also no available flights for the dates I needed since we were going on a cruise in between the flights. They told me there was no possibility for a refund whatsoever even with the circumstances. I now am out 1700.00 and have no flights and I had to cancel my entire family vacation because of this which was paid for as well. This company is a scam and NO ONE SHOULD EVER GO THROUGH THEM! It's my first time with this agency and I'd to give out warning. So far, I've heard this crook is running two traveling agencies, another one is the "Cheap..." I called to book three seats for myself and children in advance for summer out-of-country. It was seven months in advance thinking it would be cheaper. It was so hard to understand that lady on the phone. From the very first day that I paid, the tickets online would show two seats confirmed and one seat "pending." Two months had passed, They emailed me to ask if I could change the flight. I was okay with that thinking everything appeared to be the same.
Then I went on their responded email to check the new tickets from the new flight only to find that one of the seats was still "pending", except this time its email linked to the "suggested seats selections". I selected thinking it would be like other airlines that would offer these steps after payment. After clicking to select the seats, the page went on to include the selection fee right away. I was pissed so called the agency and asked why our ticket status was still "pending" and what's up with the seats.
The lady with heavy Indian Accent told me that to get it confirmed I need to pay extra $60 something. I was so angry but went on and asked of how much it would be for the cancellation fee. The lady said it would be @200 each and I was supposed to pay upfront to them right away, and then I had to wait for the refund from them for another cycle of credit card. I told her this whole ordeal was just a ripoff. She asked if I had any more questions, I said yes but I would email to them so that I could make a case later on. I emailed right away, and the answer came in another day that all of my seats were confirmed but I would need to contact the Airline myself to confirm. How about that?!! Anyway, please go somewhere else or book through your trusted agency or the airlines directly.

On 2/3/18 I wrote a scathing review about the very disturbing ticketing purchase process with OneTravel/CheapOair. I was charged for items that were not revealed during the purchase process - routine seat selection and a service charge for booking the flight. To add insult t injury, in the two days following the purchase I got multiple emails from OneTravel alerting me that one or more of my reserved seats (for which I was charged $19.99) were no longer available and OneTravel reserved the right to assign the seats at the gate.
I also received an email alerting me to a change in my flight itinerary. The header to the email advised that I was "required to read and confirm." However, when I clicked on their link to see the revised itinerary, it would not connect through and each time resulted in a dead end, only heightening my concerns about their reliability of OneTravel. I responded to the unpleasant experience by writing the review on 2/3/18 to warn other potential passengers.
On 2/4 I was called by their customer service department to "resolve my complaints" and was refunded for the elusive "enhanced seat selection charge" of $19.99 and also refunded $20 as a gesture of good will toward the service charge. I am grateful that OneTravel did the right thing in this instance. I suggested they make all charges available to the consumer (upfront and visible) so that the consumer could be fully informed before completing the purchase process. I also alerted them to the fact that the link from their "required reading" emails about itinerary changes was not functional. I am hoping that our flights booked through OneTravel/CheapOair will not experience any additional problems and our travel will be smooth sailing from here on in.

On Feb 2, I booked two rt tickets on United to Florida for myself and my husband through CheapOAir/OneTravel. I was prompted in the process to pick my seats, which is standard when booking flights, and I selected standard seats - no upgrades. I then bought travel insurance for $27.90 and then completed the charge to my visa card. Immediately, the ticket charge was posted to my account for the tickets (448.00). At the same time, another charge was made to my visa account for $91.80 with no description or explanation for the charges.
After several very frustrating phone calls over the next 24 hours with OneTravel "customer service" agents (not so much), all who were extremely difficult to understand and not helpful in providing any kind of explanation (annoyingly polite but clearly not there to help), I was able to finally discover on my third call today what was included in the mysterious charge of $91.80: $26.70 for travel insurance (check), $19.90 for "enhanced seat selection"!!! (I simply picked a standard seat when I was promoted to do so with no indication of a surcharge), and finally a $70 "service charge" for booking the tickets online through OneTravel! I was reminded by the agent, however, that I had been given a "generous" discount of $26.00 off the service charge so in fact I only paid $44 for the privilege of booking online with "NotSoCheapO" Air.
I tried to cancel the charge for my "enhanced seat choice" but after the agent kept me on hold for five minutes he came back to let me know that charge was non-refundable. The long and short of it is that I feel ripped off and scammed all at the same time. The only additional charge I was made aware of was the travel insurance - the other two charges were never mentioned during the selection process nor at the time of making the final purchase. I called United and they said had I made my reservation through them directly there would have been no online service charge nor a charge for routine seat selection. I have never run into such a duplicitous and fraudulent online travel service as OneTravel. They should be sued and put out of business. I would recommend that no one ever use them - I certainly will not and will urge everyone I know to avoid them like the plague.

They made a second attempt to charge my credit card a short time later that went through that time but still showed up as separate charges (1 from the airline) (2 from OneTravel). When I spoke to a supervisor he just kept going around and around about my checking the box on their website and saying that how their company works. I didn't book a flight in the website because the seat sold out before I could complete the transaction and they phoned me back to "help me out". Stay away from this company and their shady business practice of keeping information from you until it's too late. Save the hassle, money, time and book through the airline directly.

I was only trying to purchase flights because I thought I had found a good deal. After hours on the phone and it started 5 minutes after I filled out the credit card info to pay for an order. I will highly recommend you trying somewhere else for your travel needs. I have heard that this company is also owner of another company called cheap travel or cheap airline. Crooks I tell you... Crooks.

Agent "Gary" went beyond the call of duty to resolve my issue, a mistake that I had made in the spelling of a passenger's name. He was very polite and helpful through the process which was lengthy due to computer problems. I have used "OneTravel" before and have been very satisfied with the service offered. Thank you "OneTravel".

I thought that I just book a round trip fare for $513.00, and I was waiting for the online confirmation. Instead of the booking confirmation, I received a message on my computer that the ticket was sold already and is no longer available. I did other researches, and I could book the same itinerary for $555.00, but I didn't since the prices have increased. I checked my email, and I received an email from OneTravel stating to call them because they have better "unlisted" prices. I thought that I will get even a better deal, but unfortunately, after spending a good amount of time on the phone with a representative who barely spoke English, after all, he offered me a ticket with the same itinerary, for the amount of $768.00. That's a difference in price in the amount of $255.00.
What a crook! Instead to lower the price for the previous inconveniences, he added $255.00 more. I told him that I could book the flight for $555.00 immediately, why I shroud pay $768.00? He said that the tickets are booking fast to that flight! Of, course, the crooks and thieves are always finding excuses. Recommendation: Don't buy tickets from One Travel! We have to show to this Travel Agency that the customers are smarter than them! There are other "few" honest Travel Agencies there.

I must say, OneTravel/Cheapo air did contact me and resolved this situation. They have refunded the $600 for the bereavement fares for my clients. Thank you very much, my faith is restored
Original Review: Jan. 25, 2018
I recently booked flights for 3 family members to go to their father's funeral, from St. Thomas to Atlanta. I was charged an agency fee of $100 per ticket, so the total OneTravel agency fee was $600! I was not informed that they were charging this exorbitant fee to book bereavement fares to their father funeral. I do not recommend them and will never use their service again. Total rip off! Look at the tickets - there is no mention of the $100/per ticket agency fee!

I bought a flight via OneTravel for a flight from Krabi, Thailand to Bangkok, Thailand. The airline, ThaiLion, canceled the flight. I called OneTravel to let them know of the cancellation on November 11th and after they refused to look into it themselves I forwarded the email from ThaiLion to OneTravel on November 29th. After many unprofessional and misleading conversations and emails with their reps over the course of 2.5 months they still claimed that they were waiting on the airline to confirm. It's very clear to see that the flight was, in fact, canceled. I spoke with ThaiLion and they said that they confirmed this months ago with OneTravel.
Yesterday I finally emailed OneTravel customer solutions and threatened to go to the BBB. This morning I have an email with them offering me HALF of what I paid to be refunded in 2 weeks. They never follow up with me. I have to prompt them by calling and waiting on hold for 30 minutes to be transferred to someone else and start the process again. There is no accountability within this company. I advise against purchasing with them. I was actually able to book another flight myself days before flight after the cancellation for a cheaper price. You don't save money and if there is any trouble, you are on your own and out of your money.

Buyers Beware of this scam outfit out of Las Vegas. Once you book with these scam artists, they will continue to submit charges to your credit card company at sporadic intervals which makes it very difficult to keep track. Just got a notification from my credit card company that they have submitted for another $70 baggage fee. They also added a $79.22 fee for who knows what. Then they charge another $10 fee for processing your $70 baggage fee. SCAM. This outfit needs to be challenged for their unethical practices by some authority. They (Debra) could not justify the fees.

I am among the many passengers who followed the link for checked in and baggage fees and it says 20kgs but when we get to the airport, we were charged tremendous amount. We were all surprised, especially if you are coming abroad with lots of baggage. OneTravel is giving false info or hope to all the customers. No choice but to pay. It is a broad daylight highway robbery!

OneTravel Company is a fraud company. If somebody want to use this side be advised that you getting in a lot of problems. Me and my husband purchase vacation package from December 30 to January 6, 2018. This vacation never took place because when we came to the Aquamarina Beach Hotel, they said that reservation canceled. No language at night in another Country (Mexico). We did not know what to do. We were looking for the place to stay. Because it was on the 30th of December all hotels were booked. We found one for the amount of $750.00 a night. I spoke with the representative from OneTravel on January 7th after we finally came back. On January 19, 2018 I called again to find out what about our refund. I was put on hold for three hours and then they disconnect me. If the Company will not refund our package we are going to the court about this matter.

Do not book with this company. I booked a flight and there was a hidden fee of $19.90. As soon as I called and complained they refunded this amount. They are hoping people won't catch it but my Visa Credit Card company sent me a potential fraud email. They stated it was a fee to select my seat but that fee had already been collected by the airline.

When I booked the flights, I thought I was getting a deal of $1300 and 5 connecting flights round trip. 3 flights later, I was in Europe and found that all my colleagues paid $850 round trip with non-stop flights! I was exhausted and frustrated, but thought at least my way home will be easier. Nope! 8 hours of transit, 15 hour layover, and another 21 hour flight? Once I got to the foreign country, of which to switch flights, the airport tried to send me to a hotel. I am a female in a foreign country, alone, I am not leaving the airport!
I was rejected by the lounges because my flight was so far away, I chatted with OneTravel, thinking it would be a simple solution where they would understand my frustration and try to make up for it. Nope again! They instructed me to call. After 4 explanations and 4 authentifications of who I am, I was finally turned away by a manager who seemed to have an attitude (everyone else at least faked that they cared, but "couldn't" help). I would never pay to work with this company again. If you ever book here, just remember you are not getting customer service, or the best price! So what is their function? I would give it a big old Zero if that was possible.

She dont get it. LEON MX. So now she convinced me I'm dumb. It's the name like JFK... I arrive in Dallas. I have to buy new ticket. Cost 700$ US and credit card did not work even though I paid it off. And a hotel $100, and this is true cab driver kidnaped me to the Mexican border. It's true. I booked my flight in September. Paid 1000$ for 3 people to Montreal-Cali-Vegas. Everything went through. They called me 2 days later telling me that I owe 89.90$ for the seating. I was ok with it. I asked to pay in a week. When I got paid and I paid it they said my credit card accepted the payment. At this point I thought all was good... I'm a week from my trip. 2018-01-26 is the day I leave which is next week Friday. I called to check when I need to be at the airport and they told me I owe them the 29.99$ then the same lady told me I owe the whole 89.90$ and then processed to say I paid it in two payments.
I requested a manager. By the way they all barely understand English. They sound like the call center in India. The manager said I can pay whenever after arguing for a while. I told him it's a week away. Why wouldn't they call? His excuse is because they expected me to call. If I didn't call in I wouldn't even know the card didn't go through and they were fine with that. He took the blame after said he will add that to his training. Doubt it will happen.

If you give me the price in Canadian Dollar, I expect the exact amount listed and on my invoice debited from credit card! Not less or more! And there is no service charges listed, don't ** charge ** I'm not aware of. And then when I call them, they just pass you around until the call drops!

I would have given this company negative stars if possible. This travel company booked me a flight from Bangkok to Seattle, WA through China. What they DID NOT tell me was that I need to get a $150 visa IN ADVANCE to take this flight. They expected me to apply for a $150 visa, for a 6 hour layover. How does this make sense to anyone?! I called several times and they were no help at all. I ended up buying a last minute flight, while in the airport, and it took me 71 hrs to get home after $1000+ additional costs. After a 2 hour phone call, they refunded me $12.95. I was also unable to recoup any costs through my travel insurance, because it was an error on OneTravel's part. I cannot believe this company is still in business. Complete scam artists.
