Poukhoni did an excellent job assisting with my hotel reservation. He was patient with a few complications that arose during the process. The hotel booked the last room before the transaction was completed. Poukhoni found us a similar room in their sister hotel.

After a very unfortunate and truly poor hygienic experience at the Holiday Inn on the shoreline, we need a room at 1AM. I am thankful there was availability for the next day or day of. However, the AI representative turned a 15 minute transaction into 40+ minute back and forth. Specifically misunderstand numbers. Wish I was able to speak to a live person.

Extremely helpful, polite and thorough. Saved me a lot of time by not having to contact each property. Besides the amenities, it is a pet friendly hotel. I would definitely book a room through this service again.

Very poor. The site showed the correct hotel, but they booked at a neighboring hotel. We needed pet friendly and the one booked was not. The rep would not take my member number and promised the best rate. Had issues canceling to go to the correct hotel. Then find out they only issued a voucher and not a refund. Website was making me believe I was using the correct one, but this was not the hotel website. And the final price was significantly higher than what I paid when I got to the correct hotel. Will continue to argue. Have a 1 star because 0 not an option.

I was misinformed on the room required. I had asked for deluxe king and stated on confirmation. But when verifying with the hotel was told a standard king was ordered. This was not what I wanted to cancel reservation and still charged for 1 day for a room not requested.

Marcus lied and deceived me, ruining my family's vacation and costing me over $1,000 more than was necessary. He guaranteed me I would be refunded when I revised my itinerary, a lie. He told me I had an ocean beach front which I do not. He confirmed 15 times I would be refunded and the room was what I wanted and it’s not! He’s either incompetent or a complete asshole! He should be fired from his position immediately. Wonder how many other family vacations he ruined over his tenure working there. I should be reimbursed 100% for what he did to us. Absolute disgrace!

Truly the worst experience! They would not let me amend my reservation, so I booked the correct reservation with a voucher they gave me over the phone. When I got the hotel the reservation was cancelled by hotel planner, leaving me with no reservation. I had to rebook at the front desk. It's been a month and I've yet to receive my refund. I've called their customer service department more than 30 times and still refund. At this point I am out $540.

Hotel Planner booked my reservation over the phone when I would have much preferred to speak directly to the hotel. I made a reservation over the phone with Hotel Planner and was unaware of the cancellation policy and cancelled it 22 minutes later and was surprised to see a charge of $517.76 on my credit card and a credit back of only $115.77.
I called Hotel Planner several times and left messages for their support team and did not get a call back. I called again and was able to start a ticket that goes to an escalation team, that team is not available to take calls they only respond via email and it takes 24 hours up to 4 business days to get a response. So basically I feel this is an unfair situation and I was unaware of the cancellation policy keeping one night no matter the reason for cancelling and does not consider the advance notice. It feels like the Hotel Planner booking system is in between being able to speak directly to the hotel when there are complications with a reservation.

Do not EVER book through Hotel Planner! They are deceitful because they never clearly identified themselves as a 3rd party booking company. The prices I paid for a two night stay at the Villa Roma in NY was 45% HIGHER than what the hotel would have charged directly. The representative did not clearly state they did not work directly for the Villa Roma and could not explain why the rate on the Villa Roma web site was lower than what they charged. Do not be fooled. This company should be investigated by the US Dept of Commerce and Better Business Bureau.

After a week in Dallas for business, my flight back home was canceled on Friday 6/19/2026, due to weather delays. I rebooked a flight for Saturday morning. I was struggling to find a hotel room, extremely tired and frustrated. Then I called and Andres took my call and found me a room out of two available at the Spark by Hilton. This was the most difficult room reservation. I have ever made the gal. I was talking to was very illiterate and couldn't understand anything. She really tried my patience. I had to hand her off to my wife, and then she got cranky at her then she said, "I am having trouble with your reservation. I'm going to connect you with a specialist when we were connected." We were transferred to a voice recording, and it said it was all booked. This was very difficult.

I made a reservation through A third party (Hotels.com) but since I’ve been stranded before by believing that was enough, I called the hotel directly and they had no reservations in my name. I was deceived into thinking I was talking directly to the hotel I wanted to book, when in fact I was talking to a third party. When I realized this I went directly to the hotel phone number and their rate was $110 cheaper than what you charged me. I have since cancelled, but am now out $24.98 for cancelling this reservation. This is a scam on your part and a way for you to make some easy money from unsuspecting customers. This is why I try to book directly with a merchant so I don't get taken by companies such as yours. And by the way, when I questioned the rep about why the amount was higher, she started talking about third parties, not admitting that she was a third party herself. I'm incensed that I was taken advantage of, and to think you run your business this way makes my blood boil. Never again.

I called to get a park, sleep, and fly. It was confirmed that is what I paid for, when I checked into the hotel that was not the case. Not only was the hotel more expensive through this website I had to pay for the parking and shuttle service once at the hotel.

Made a phone booking today at approximately 20:04 CET with an agent named Carlos for 4 people. However, the confirmation email I received shows the booking was incorrectly made for 1 person in a different room type. I called back exactly 30 minutes later to cancel it upon noticing your error. Other agent (support only in English!) explicitly confirmed on the phone prior to booking that cancellation was free of charge and carried no penalty until one day later. I demand an immediate cancellation with zero charges, as I was misled by your agent and the service confirmed does not match what was agreed.

I wanted to make a reservation at Chicago Lake Shore Hotel. They did not have the amount of beds I needed so Mohsin, the agent who served me found another hotel with discounts and queen sized beds I need for $200 less and 4 miles where I wanted to stay and complimentary breakfast. He was understanding of my needs and very helpful ion lowering the price.. KUDOS to Mohsin!

I just booked a room July 3-5. I was told I had to pay upfront due to an event happening and minimum rooms left. I was charged 257 usd. My friend just called Wyndham and booked her room and it was 205 usd!! And she didn’t have to pay now. I am so sorry I booked this way.

Marilyn was fine but your AI system is absolutely horrible. I will make sure I don't stay anywhere that I have to use this reservation system again. I spent way too much time "speaking" to robots and being rerouted to different robots just to extend my stay at Newcastle Lodge and Covention center a night. It was extremely frustrating.

I specifically asked for early morning stay today June 15 (2am - 10am) and the representative knew this was exactly what I needed but proceeded to book me for June 15 (3pm check in) to June 16. The hotel is fully booked and now I am sitting in the lobby waiting for day break without the possibility of sleep due to your representative error.

This agent waited til I went to bank to secure payment for the room. After payment completed I was informed that room was no longer available but a higher rate room was. I demanded my money returned to my bank which ended in a request to talk to her supervisor. I feel there were other options available but not presented or offered to me. My only option was to pay in full with no refund

Angelica (Angel) was very courteous, professional from the beginning of the call. As the call continued it was apparent how helpful and informative she was. She outlined various options for us and when I mentioned I was on a waitlist for a knee and hip replacement so was concerned about pre payment she asked about anyone in our party being a certain age. From there she was able to support is with a couple of exceptions given our circumstances which I really appreciated.

Terrible customer service. I was assisting a family member with making a reservation and later canceling it. Despite being told that the reservation had been canceled, I will be disputing the charges with my credit card company. I strongly advise others to think twice before booking with this company. When I called to resolve the issue, my calls were disconnected, and my concerns were not addressed professionally. The lack of communication, accountability, and respect for customers is extremely disappointing. I expected much better service and integrity from this company. Unfortunately, my experience was frustrating and unacceptable.

Everything was great. My ONLY issue was when I asked if there was a deposit I was told no. When I got to the hotel I was told I was responsible for a $100 deposit. I had to give them $100 cash on top of my payment and taxes. I leave at 4 am tomorrow and am hoping there is no issue getting my deposit back.

Jomar could not have been more helpful or professional or kind! I have an emergency concerning my daughter and I have to fly across the country as she is in the hospital. Jomar helped me with every detail from extra blankets in the room to whether or not I could get to the airport to the hotel and also help me find out if there was a bus to the hospital and even the cost of the bus. I called the Hilton Garden Inn to make a reservation and was told there were no available rooms, so I asked if there were any nearby hotels. The person I was talking to named Harminder, said he was looking and found rooms at the Holiday Inn approximately 1/4 mile away so I said that would be fine. He never informed me he was on a booking site. I assumed it was another property owned by the same people that he worked for so I booked two rooms one for myself and one for a co-worker.
There was some confusion with names and I had to spell them multiple times. When we arrived it was a hassle getting the co-worker checked in because he had misspelled their name and the hotel was Miles from where I requested to stay. The whole experience was very unpleasant due to Harminder misrepresenting the location of the hotel, misspelling of the names and not informing me that he was using a 3rd party booking service rather than with the hotel directly.

Very frustrated with this organization. Spoofed legit hotel and mislead me on room despite my very specific questions. Representative asserted that she knew room's location but she did not, or she flat lied to me for sale. Felt stupid when I checked in to hotel I know quite well, learning that I had been diverted through agency away from actual hotel res system. Had to pay to ‘upgrade’ at hotel to get actual room I originally thought I had purchased, despite having paid appropriately in the first place.

They said they don't give military discount. Or they wouldn't give me block rooms I was calling about for our get together. In almost 200.00 dollars in taxes. I will not be using this service or hotel again. At less Holiday in Hilton treat you better and try to help you more.

Sagar was excellent at helping me book the very room I wanted. He was efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. We have stayed at this cottage several times in the past, before the hurricane. The updated room looks amazing. And we can bring our 2 dogs and dock our jet ski. We love fishing in our “backyard.” Looking forward to another wonderful time in Siesta Key. And there are lots of shells to be found across the street at the beach!

I called the hotel, and the call was taken over by HotelPlanner.com. Within two hours, I called back to cancel the reservations. I did not receive any refund, even though I purchased the refund protection plan for $75. I was informed I could cancel the reservation if my plans changed, but I was not informed that I would have to provide legal documentation for the cancellation reason. I would not recommend anyone use the service voluntarily. Carefully check the call to make sure it has not been hijacked by this service. I will also be making a consumer complaint with the Minnesota Attorney General's Office to get these kinds of predatory services banned. Reviews for the teak refund protection policy have a theme of customers being denied claims even with the proper documentation.

I am so pissed off right now! You completely scammed me! I asked if I was calling the Sylvia hotel directly and I was told yes, so I booked the room but something fell off. After booking with you, I checked the phone number I called against (which appeared on what looked like the legit Sylvia hotel website) the directory for the Sylvia hotel and found out it was a different number. The cost of the room should’ve been $380 total with taxes and fees. I have been charged by you $520!
When I asked why it was so expensive, you told me it was the taxes and fees on top of the room charge.. What you didn’t tell me was that you are not the Silvia hotel, you were falsely representing yourself. I want my money back!!! I will be taking this up with the appropriate authorities. I have spoken to the legit Sylvia Hotel front desk and they tell me that you pay Google extra money to show up as a legit website. They have been trying to get it stopped, but so far have been unable to. This is so corrupt!

Hi Marjorie, you were pleasant on the phone and helpful, however, I asked you two or three times for a roll-in shower because I am in a wheelchair. You said it was only available with a king-size bed. I have an older lady with me. We gave up having a two-bed unit so I could have a shower. This room has a bathtub in it, which I can’t use. Now I have to sleep in the same bed as this woman and can’t shower in the morning. I’m not very happy about the situation. I am traveling to California from Wisconsin. We are too tired to look for another room. I am unable to transfer onto the chair into the bathtub. This sucks.

AI system deceived me and told me it was a "live" agent. I kept asking for a live agent because I knew it was AI and it lied to me. Then it took my CC and charged me when I was only doing a hotel a room with it. It would not refund me. I called to get a refund and held on for 45 mins and it hung up on me. I emailed them next and no response. I have proof of all of this. I finally cancelled with the hotel who said I get a full refund. They said to have this Hotel Planner even call them and I cannot get anyone on the phone and the one and only time someone answered it was a non English speaking person and they put me on hold for 25 mins and hung up on me. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CC. You will be ripped off. The Hotel manager is also furious with the way they treated me....

#1 phone number was listed as, and answered as a direct number to the hotel...obviously I see now it was not. #2 I was told early check in was no problem. This was my first concern as I travel with my elderly mother. As I thought I was speaking directly with the hotel, I offered to pay for early check in. I am now sitting in the lobby of a hotel, with no access to bathrooms or beverages with an elderly cancer patient and no room available. I guess on the plus side, Denilson was pleasant to speak to?

Booked wrong dates wanted to check in after midnight on 5/30 and get later check out same day 5/30. Spend lots of time on phone and after a rep answer got disconnected somehow, called back say on hold, till eventual they said no 1 was available and said they'd have some one call back when available. Well I'm very upset. I got ripped off. They told me it would be the better price than any online place I would book it. They charged me like $3,400 and I went online and I could have got the same thing for $2,000. Very upset. That's what they call him Chase Bank and have this taken off my Visa. Have a private client with Chase.

Made reservations for 2 rooms. One room needed 2 beds and a pull out to accommodate 3 men. Was told I had 2 of these rooms. On check in this was not the case. This hotel does not even have a room like this. Ended up getting another room because we needed 5 beds total. Why was I lied to. So frustrating and now over budget.

First of all, I called thinking I was speaking with someone directly affiliated with the hotel I was inquiring on. I started my conversation by stating that I did not want to book with a third party service and inquired about the advantages to booking with the resort directly. Muskan told me that booking with the property directly (with her) was better because all of the taxes and fees would be included (including the pet fee), whereas booking through a third party would result in hidden charges. I completed my reservation without hesitation because she continually misrepresented herself as someone working for the property at which I wanted to stay.
When I arrived at the hotel, I was informed that the reservation was actually made via booking.com (which if not at all how I thought I was spending my money) AND there were additional fees due before I would get our room key because Muskan had blatantly lied when we spoke on the phone. I am very upset with the interaction I had with this representative and your company and am angry about the misleading and the misrepresentation. I will be reaching out to someone for assistance in making this right. I would give you zero stars if I could, but it made me leave one.

Representative lied and said he was the Hilton Garden Inn, which he was not told us the room had a hot tub which it did not. That’s the only reason we came here and we had to pay $70 more than what we supposed to have to pay and still no hot tub there’s not even a hot tub in the hotel we will be suing.

Enquired with this company about a group booking, prices they came back with were ridiculous. Told them I didn’t want to proceed. Didn’t get a reply. 2 days before I actually went to the city planned (via another website) I was receiving reminder emails from Hotel Planner about my reservation. The morning of my arrival, I was receiving emails welcoming me and to let them know if I needed anything. I emailed them several times to say I didn’t have a booking. After I came home, I even had emails asking how my stay was, would I leave a review for the property (that I’d never stayed in). Today I receive another email about not making a group booking for a while. Seriously you’re wasting your own time and potential customers time. Read your emails! Let’s hope you didn’t reserve 8 rooms for me which I didn’t want.

This person deceived me. I explained and confirmed more than once that I needed two rooms, each with two double beds. He said that was not available but he had a room with two bedrooms and each bedroom had two double beds. I asked him to please confirm them more than once which he did. Scammed me by telling me that the room I was looking for was no longer available and I had to pick a more expensive option but when I got to the hotel they said that that was not true and I realize the original estimate with tax he provided was less than I was charged.

This reservation was very painful at best. After more than 90 minutes I still was unsure if I had a room at all. The AI is a pain in the ass! After 90minutes, ai never got the spelling of my name, email address and phone number correct…even at the end of my call. I asked numerous times to be transferred to a ’live person’ which never happened. And the couple de gras, I was overcharged for the reservation x4 after requesting (from the beginning of my call’ for a USBC contracted rate…unresolved and unresponsive. I finally cancelled the reservation and found lodging from another vendor. A terrible experience and waste of time! The other vendor had everything done in 20 minutes and was accurate to the dot.

I tried to make a reservation online, which became very difficult. It didn’t like any information I would put in and it was throwing back to the beginning, so I decided to call the local number of the cove, and it was very nice. The first I spoke to was in detail about everything and listened to everything. I had to say I’ve stayed at the cove many times. She has put me in a decent room. I hope we will not know that till June 3 through the eighth, but I’m sure if she did such a great job on the phone taking my reservation. I’m sure she will make sure that I get a very nice room.

I was going to book online, but she answered my local questions and I decided to just book with her on the phone...old-school!

I clearly requested booking for ONE NIGHT from May 15 to May 16, 2026. When I received confirmation it was booked for May 16 to May 17. I had to rebook it for correct dates. It looked like AI was doing booking and did commit mistake. I should not be charged for two bookings.

I was looking to book a hotel and called what I thought was the hotel number for let's say the Embassy Suites. However, it was not until I received a bid email that I became aware that I was speaking to a hotel planner. HotelPlanner should identify themselves as being such instead of displaying deceitful business practices. So glad that I did not give up any sensitive information.

The sale was misrepresented. I asked multiple times if this was a 3rd party booking the reservation. The representative lied. She also booked the wrong room...with a king bed only.... Very upset Marriott customer.

I cannot believe this robot tried to tell me she was a real person and denied she was a robot. It was a terrible experience. She couldn’t understand anything I said. I had my son help me and she couldn’t understand him either and kept calling him my name. It was very frustrating. Then we finished the reservation and the room was no longer available… I wound up getting a more expensive room. Overall it was frustrating.

I made reservations over the phone for two adults at Hampton Inn Boston Logan Airport Chelsea for mid-July. Anna was very helpful and even mentioned discounts that both my friend and I could take advantage of. Anne was professional, courteous and knowledgeable and made it easy to make the reservations.

Seemed like I was talking to AI. Very difficult trying to schedule a hotel room. Could not understand what was being said when information was being read back to me. The process took much longer than it ever has. If I need to I will just find a different hotel. We stay at this hotel probably 4 - 5 times a year. But I will not struggle to make a reservation. Hope to talk to a human next time!

I only got a partial refund which was not outlined when I booked this reservation in March for May. I understand that now it does say a partial refund but it did not say that back in March when I booked. I think this is completely unfair.

I first gave Linday a good review. But as I checked my confirmation, it seems she made a big mistake. She gave me 2 accessible rooms which would be on different floors. And she put 1 adult in each room. I told her it was 6 people. 2 adults and 2 children on one room. And 2 adults in the other room. Had to call the hotel to have it corrected. Your reservation person told me he was going to cancel my reservation. I told him not to!

I feel scammed after booking with this site. I thought I was booking direct with Marriott, as this is the first thing to pop up when Google searched, but I was clearly wrong. I was told that my preferred hotel was full, but they could get me into another room with their partnering hotel. I reluctantly accepted, as I thought I had no other choice. After a few confusing phone calls, and about 45 minutes waiting on the phone, I went to the Marriott app where I was informed that there were in fact rooms still available. I was lied to for what I can only assume was to get me to stay at one of their preferred hotels. Upon requesting a refund, they requested "evidence" of my need to cancel. Just do yourself a favor and book direct. This company does not make things easier, nor do they intend to give your money back without an act of god.

If I’m going to talk to AI, I don’t want it to try and sound like a friendly human. It’s way off of natural, fake polite, fake happy, fake, fake, fake. I’m asked to rate how “she” did. “She” does not exist! She” is code. Your code is weird and off putting. I’d rather talk to a crabby human than this unsettling facsimile of an ** woman. Also, your programming kept telling me my Gmail address was “@G Gmail.com". Hard to confirm a correct email address with an extra, incorrect letter. When I informed your programming I needed accommodations for two people it jumped in, with fake enthusiasm (so gross) and thought said my “sister” would be joining me. Sister? Nope. My husband. I’d rather, and usually, book online but I needed to ensure I’d get a pet friendly room.

I have had numerous tries to change my reservation. I can't get a refund to a new card because my old card was stolen. They said it would be compromised. I feel that I have called numerous times with misinformation. I'm still waiting for a voucher that I've never received yet to reserve after my surgery. I appreciate this, thank you.

John did not give the correct answer to a question- this is the correct hotel but he didn’t even work there and also said breakfast was included (wasn’t). It was 25.00 when I went to the counter to ask about it. they said he didn’t work there and that has happened a lot of mis-information- very unhappy about this booking - The hotel staff were very nice and apologetic of John’s mistakes

I made this reservation. Hermal made this reservation for 2 nights for 400 dollars. l asked for senior discount and I was told all rooms with senior discount were booked. La Quinta said there are no set room with senior discount. The total for my stay was 249.24 not the 408 that I was charged.

We are coming up to Silverthorne for birthday celebration and Mother’s Day this Saturday and Sunday, May 9 and 10th. Michael was very helpful at getting us the rooms at the indigo for my wife and myself and my son. My other son lives down the street so everything seems to be convenient and we appreciate it very much and hopefully we’ll stay there again someday if all works out because it’s kind of hard to get rooms in that area these days but anyway thank you Michael for a spectacular job and maybe we’ll meet you someday.
