The live chat online was quick and easy to use. The company worked with me to get a refund even though my reservation was non-refundable. My friend was sick in the hospital and was transferred last minute after I booked this. Thank you for caring and making my trip easier under not so good circumstances.

I had to cancel my reservation, I was going away with my friend, but her son needed emergency surgery for his appendix and I had to cancel. I had booked a non cancellation room, but there was not hassle with refund, due to circumstances. Very helpful and understanding.

This company cheated me out of $140 for a reservation that I made online and immediately canceled because it was for the wrong day. They refused to cancel the reservation even though I contacted them 2 minutes after the reservation was made when I saw the error. Bad Company. Do not do business with them.

Terrible experience with reservations. I did not know that I was booking with a third party, and I specifically asked for a booking in The Guitar Hotel over and over. And at check in I was told, "That’s not what you booked. I travel constantly and never was so dissatisfied. I will never deal with a third party again and will express my disappointment to every one I know.

I was not able to stay in the assigned room at Days Inn as I had asked for a ground floor room (travelling with pet). Upon my arrival, the hotel could not accommodate me. I was charged for the room anyway. Karen ** | Individual Sales Supervisor was instrumental in getting me the refund for the room and was in communication with me throughout the process.

The cancellation policy reads "Any cancellation received within 1 day prior to the arrival date will incur the first night's charge." We called more than 24 hours prior to arrival date, however after more than one phone call to try and sort this out, I am still being charged for the nights' stay. Will NEVER book on this site again & will recommend the same to anyone else.

Thank you for your reply. I show that one of my colleagues worked on your reservation earlier today and they were able to get a courtesy exception for cancellation and the reservation was cancelled and refund will be issued back to the account information provided on file.
Please note that refunds do take between 7 - 14 business days to be allocated back to the account information provided at the time of booking.

This company was very professional when I needed to cancel/reschedule my hotel plans. According to their policy it states there is no cancellations which is what is agreed upon prior to booking. Unfortunately I did not think I would need to cancel, but life happens, and I had to. I was assisted, and my reservations were called, and I received a full refund. Thank you!!!

My fiancé and I checked into our hotel only to find out we had an emergency and had to leave the next day for what originally would have been a 3 night stay. I called the hotel who informed me I would need to reach out to HotelPlanner. When I did, they were very understanding and said they would work with the hotel and that I would hear back as soon as possible. Within 3 days, I was told we would be refunded after they had worked directly with the hotel, which was so great to not have to go back & forth between multiple parties. I am grateful for the refund and for their customer service!

The employee who initially heard my concerns was courteous and relayed the message to the appropriate decision maker. This was an expensive mistake that was excused by this company. I am actually quite livid right now. I started with 50 rooms "booked" when I originally asked for a group room BLOCK. Then I was told during this recent convo with Esther that I needed to cancel my room bookings to move forward with a group request. thinking that meant group room block request and getting approved for it, not waiting for bids... so now I am left with nothing to show when I originally had 50 rooms. This has caused me a huge headache.
My reviews have changed because my first one was before I got the group request link. Then I realized I had to wait for a bid. Which I've already asked for a bid months ago and never got one from the marriott.. and then I realized I spent 3 hours total trying to book at Mariott and the Sheraton and have nothing to show for it, besides my time wasted with people that may not be fully trained or know their job and 0 rooms blocked. I am so frustrated. I clearly asked for group room blocks for the Marriott. Not until I canceled the rooms was I told that I would have to wait for a BID. pretty much with no gaurentee. Im sitting here wondering why my request was is so difficult?

I made a reservation on October 30 in error at Springhill Latrobe, Pittsburgh PA. Both Karen and Jessica at Hotel Planner we’re very efficient in redirecting me to Springhill, Clarksburg WV, which was the intended overnight stay destination. The original transaction at Springhill Latrobe was cancelled and is being refunded as I write. For solving my travel issue and rebooking my overnight stay, I found both Karen and Jessica professional, helpful, and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Travel Planners to others and use their services in future.

We were allowed cancellation on a room that stated no refund or cancellation because our granddaughter who is playing for IUK soccer said that they were going to be playing against Asbury University on Saturday November 9th so we hurried up and booked a room at the Comfort Inn Lexington South. Unfortunately we found out that they had to play the losing team of the Asbury/Ohio Christian match which ended up being Ohio Christian. Thankfully they were very understanding on our predicament and allowed us to cancel so where we could change locations.

I've booked a reservation on 29/10/2019. In the confirmation email, I found a typo in my guest's name and I would like to update it. I've tried to contact customer service again and again using different way (email, phone, live chat, facebook messenger). But still no response for over a week.

I had booked a room with doubles bed (email confirmation says doubles) through my corporate site but when I showed up at the hotel, they put me in a room with a single bed. I had to pay the difference at the hotel to "upgrade" my room. When I contacted HotelPlanner about this, they said someone will call me to resolve. A month went by with no call back so I reached out to them again, they were quick to tell me to keep waiting and that tickets are answered in the order they're received. After that, since August (it's been months!) I've emailed them, called them to get a live person (no one answers), and left them voicemail for callback - all NOTHING. No response. I'm super shocked, this is horrible - you should avoid this company because they'll clearly avoid you if there are any issues.

When I quoted the cancellation date on my confirmation, that person sent a request for a supervisor to be in contact with regards to completing my request. I was contacted by the supervisor, Karen, within the time I was quoted and Karen completed my request for cancellation and refund without hesitation. I used your website through a the UCT Website to book a room for an upcoming trip. The room was booked at an excellent price, with a no cancellation, until I pressed confirm then found out the booking was in USD. Once the exchanged was charged the room was crazy expensive. I immediately contacted your customer service dept, via online chat and was helped by Karen **. I explained to her what my issue was, she was very understanding, told me she would get back to me in 24 to 48 hours with a resolution. To be honest I didn't expect to hear back but lo and behold I received an EMail from Karen telling me she's been able to get me a complete refund. While trying to create two separate reservations with two different arrival dates I erroneously booked and booked one room for two nights rather than one night. Immediately realizing my error I sent an email, which was also immediately responded to. The problem was reviewed and the booking and charge was changed to one night. She reached out to me and gave me a number to call directly. I did get help, but the entire process wasn't complete. I was hoping to find hotels available for a room block. This service not only didn’t provide hotels with the criteria I was looking for (they have guidelines when signing up), I have since been harassed by spam emails claiming to be from an employee, Sonia **. I have received emails nearly daily for several months from 7-8 different email accounts. I have asked to be removed from contact lists, to speak to a manager to no avail. This service was not worth the effort they are now causing.

I erroneously booked two nights at a hotel for my cousin's wedding when I only needed the Saturday evening reservation. As soon as I pressed process, I realized my error. I immediately called the support line and was encouraged to contact the hotel directly. Because it was the weekend, I wouldn't hear from them until the next week. I called the hotel and they approved the cancellation of the two-night reservation. I then followed up with an online chat. A couple of hours later I received confirmation that they would refund my stay. Fingers crossed I get the refund!

On Oct. 23rd, I reserved a room at the Holiday Inn in Bakersfield using Hotel Planner to check into the hotel the following day, Oct. 24th. I received a Status Email claiming my reservation was “Awaiting Confirmation”. The next day, my husband and I drove the 3 hours to the hotel, and when we arrived, we found out we did not have a confirmed reservation, but luckily the manager found us a room, which turned out to be nearly $40 dollars cheaper so we were happy. My husband decided to call Hotel Planner to let them know they never confirmed our reservation and to ensure they wouldn’t charge our credit card as we ended up booking and paying the hotel directly.
The agent, a woman, was not only very rude and argumentative and insisting in charging our credit card, she also hung up on my husband! The manager at the hotel also tried to reason with the woman and again, she refused to budge. It would have been very interesting to know what would have happened if the hotel was booked and we couldn’t have gotten a room and you had already taken our money. I will never ever use this company again.

Thank you for your email. We have contacted the property in regards to this booking issue. After validating with the hotel, we found out that this reservation has been cancelled by the hotel and they have provided a room to the guest under walk in. This is due to hotel internal issue that they were not able to find this booking upon the guest check in and only found it after. As to avoid double charge to the guest, we have cancelled this reservation as well and refund 100% of the booking value. Regards, Customer Experience Group

I had reserved 2 rooms at the Days Inn Wyndham in Rockingham, NC for Saturday night Oct. 19th, 2019. We were returning from Daytona Beach Fl, but had to leave a day earlier than planned due to impending foul weather. (We were on motorcycles). I called to change my reservation from Sat night to Fri night on Friday morning. Was told that they would have to contact the facility in NC to make the change and someone would be contacting me by phone later in the day, most likely after 1 PM. No one ever called, and the desk clerk stated that no one had contacted them earlier.
I call the 877-830-4771 number while I was in the lobby of the NC motel. I was met with much resistance from the male that answered the call with regard to changing from Sat to Fri check in date. Were it not for the excellent help of the desk clerk, I was led to believe that I could not change the date and would lose the money already paid. I will not book any future reservations through your agency.

I had reserved a hotel that offered free cancellations and when I went to cancel only like 5 days later I was told I was unable to cancel. After numerous phone calls and several left messages (which half of the messages were cut off and not submitted) and 10 days later I finally got some one to e-mail me. When I fist spoke to Jessica she could not give me a timeline as to when to get a PHONE call back to discuss my issue. NO ONE ever called me... No ONE ever answers the phone and I was constantly on HOLD with NO ONE ever getting on the phone.

They charge $37 in extra bogus fees. They show this extra charge at the end of the booking page, so that it is not obvious before clicking the reserve button. Then, they hold you to the non-refundable policy in a rather mean manner. From a $78 to a $115 a night room, there is a big difference.

After this third party booking site incorrectly chose a smoking room for my reservation, they are refusing my money as I wasn’t able to stay at the hotel. Now they are not returning several phone calls and lying about what the hotel told them. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THEM! They will give you the run around and not respond via phone call.

Thank you for your review. I was able to locate your reservation in our system and I do show that an agent was previously assisting you with this matter and they were in contact with the department and hotel on your behalf as we can only process a refund per the hotels confirmation.
Per our departments initial contact with the hotel they spoke with Erick at the property who advised that you utilized the reservation and that no refund would be issued and at the time the department was not able to process a refund as the hotel advised that it was used and they were not providing approval for the reservation to be refunded.
Our agent followed up with the hotel directly and was able to speak with Pat and Ashley advising of the matter concerning your reservation and we were advised that they would look into it and reach back out to us so unfortunately we were awaiting the hotels update.
Today we were able to follow up with the hotel and have our department reach out to the hotel and Pat was able to verify that the room was not used and provided approval for the reservation to be refunded and as such we have processed a refund from our end that will be allocated back to your account. Please note that refunds do take between 3 – 7 business days to be allocated back to your account.
So we do apologize to you for the length of time that it took to get resolved but with your particular reservation we were at the mercy of the hotel as without their approval for refund we could not have issue a refund on our end.

Made a reservation for at Intercontinental The Barclay for 3 persons (2 adults / 1 child). Confirmation came back as 1 adult only. Checked with the hotel directly who confirmed the room type booked was only suitable for 2 persons maximum and 3 person booking were not allowed. Queried this immediately with HP who said it was their mistake and would cancel at no cost. We then received a cancellation charge of £400.76. Queried this with HP and they stated it was in the T's & C's - we pointed out that the HP portal allowed for a 3 person booking, when the was maximum 2 AND we had already been told they had admitted their mistake and would cancel at no cost.
We also supplied conclusive proof of the incorrect booking and a video showing the HP portal still allowed incorrect inputs to evidence our claim. We keep getting fobbed off with BS responses and have had no resolution. Customer "service" is a joke with stalling / deflection tactics designed to frustrate. All we want is our money back and an end to this ghastly experience.

I went to cancel a non refundable booking for myself and there was nowhere on the booking that showed where I could do that. So I went to the online chat and Karen ** was the support agent who assisted me. I told her I knew there was no refund but that I thought the hotel would want to know we were no longer arriving. She cancelled the booking and contacted the hotel advising I was ill and unable to travel. She was able to get a full refund for the amount we had pre-paid. I had an issues with my laptop and as I was making my reservations my laptop locked up - but I did not realize my reservation went through the system. I did not receive a confirmation email from Hotel Planner and assumed the reservation did not go through the system. Then I made reservations directly through Holiday Inn. When checking into Holiday Inn the receptionist indicated I had 2 reservations - I reached out to Reginette ** and she rectified the issue for me. I have asked numerous times in numerous different ways to have my property switched as I no longer work at Hyatt House Parsippany/Whippany and I have had zero response from the travel agents and service desk. They can email me over and over in regards to their commission and that seems to be the only time I receive a response except I no longer work at the property they are trying to receive commission for so I cannot help. I had the same issue when our previous Sales Manager left at Hyatt House Parsippany/Whippany and overdue bills kept being sent to her email after numerous complaints to remove her from the account completely. There is no communication or assistance when the property needs help only when hotelplanner wants something. Due to this lack of communication Hyatt House Morristown has been losing out on leads as I do not have access to my own property and I have been here for over 2 months now.

I asked for quotes to only Olds and they gave me quotes to everywhere but Olds. Hotels in Red Deer is 40 minutes away. We have a shuttle service to Olds, why would anyone drinking go to Red Deer? Why would you even consider this ok? Awful and I’m so disappointed I had to share. I have sent 2 emails asking this to be fixed, they don’t respond to any of my emails. Awful customer service. I want an explanation but nope. Maybe this will help.

We had made reservations to stay outside of Boston and learned that the subway system is down for repair in the area we were traveling to. There are 6 in our party, all seniors and we knew that we could not manage our trip very well with this situation. We called to cancel, if possible, and learned it might take a few days. I had a good experience with customer support. My partner and I had double booked a hotel. I was put in contact with Karen to try and get a refund. She was able to contact the hotel and get a refund for us within 24 hours. I am very grateful since I could not afford to double pay! We went through their site to get the wedding rate, however the taxes + service fees were $150+ for a one night stay. So just keep that in mind.

We stayed a one night stay in Vaughan Ontario. The taxes and fees added onto a $135/per night fee came to $183!! This was not spelled out clearly by Hotel Planner.com. Then the hotel double charged me and their rate with the Canadian exchange came to $124.!!! Karen ** from hotel planner was diligent in her follow up and resolution of the double charge by the hotel but now I realize I spent almost $60 extra dollars (!!) by using this website instead of booking directly. DO NOT USE this website as you will end of paying so much more! I couldn't be more disappointed.

Per the information that you provided in your review, we were able to locate your reservation in our system and your reservation was booked on August 5th, 2019 for the Residence Inn and at the time that you booked your reservation you agreed to the rate and policy terms at the time of booking confirmation.
The hotel in error mistakenly billed you directly for your reservation and upon notifying us of this matter the hotel was contacted and noticed their error and issued a refund to you for the incorrect charge allocated.
Unfortunately rates for hotels fluctuate on the daily based upon various reasons. We were able to verify that you were provided all information including the total amount for the reservation and policy which was disclosed to you prior to booking your reservation and you did agree to the rate and total at the time of booking - no deception or information was withheld at the time of booking.

At first, I thought this would be a useful service for booking room blocks, and they did help me find a few good deals. BUT, their internal communication process is severely lacking, such that even if I don't end up booking a room block I have been researching, I get repeated e-mails, texts and phone calls from the regional sales rep asking me what hotel I booked. Clearly, they have no way of telling the difference between when you have requested a quote and when you have actually booked and completed a stay. That should be THEIR responsibility to track, not mine. Repeated requests to stop contacting me have been fruitless.
In one situation, they provided me with a quote from a hotel that, when I contacted the sales manager to request a contract I was told the hotel was fully booked. I re-contacted HotelPlanner.com numerous times to ask for help in finding another property and received no response. I ended up going out on my own and finding a hotel, THEN got repeatedly harassed by the regional rep asking for details on our stay with the original hotel -- the one that was not able to accommodate our group. How do they not know when a quote request has proceeded to a contract and then through to an actual hotel stay?
I originally enrolled in this service to save myself time and money, and it has done neither. I find better deals negotiating on my own and I don't have to deal with late-night phone calls from agents, asking about hotel stays I never booked, just so they can get their commission. Terribly disorganized and unprofessional. There is no mechanism I can find on their website through which I can unenroll from this useless "service". I have made a request to unenroll through their live chat option, and I will wait to see if that is honored. I have blocked all the various regional sales reps on my phone and e-mail -- something I've never had to do with a company that is supposed to be serving me. The "service" is not useful to me, and I have now spent more time trying to unenroll from this service than I ever saved using it.

Below is the email message I finally received from HotelPlanner complete with misspelled "sencond," "you" that should be "your," "right" that should be "write, and "serviced" that should be "services." I finally received this email after months of HotelPlanner's completely deceitful practices. They first put me into a smoking room at a sold-out hotel in Lexington, KY, when I emphatically reserved a non-smoking room due to my severe asthma, and then at the next hotel in Campbellsville, KY, they changed me for a 3-night stay when I only reserved and stayed 1 night.
For the last 3 months I was lied to, insulted, slighted, snubbed, passed around, and ignored by HotelPlanner's staff including Charity **, Esther **, Reginette ** and manager April at **, not that she ever answers her phone or returns voice messages! This rude band of thieves should not receive another hard-earned dollar ever. All of them should be fired.
BEWARE: When making travel plans DO NOT ever use HOTELPLANNER.com! "...Just wanted to advise you the sencond night of you reservation has been cancelled with a refund... It would be greatly appreciated if you could please visit “Hotel Planner Consumer Affairs and right a review and some feedback on the serviced you have received from me."

We are very disappointed with Hotel Planner. Granted when booking the hotel I incorrectly put the wrong amount of days, so I called 2min later after booking to modify the dates, and we are being put through hoops. They told us they will escalate to the hotel and call us back, we have yet to receive the call-3 days later. We just called them and the front desk rep put us on hold and told us the Manager contacted the hotel and they refused to make the modification. When we called the hotel, the front desk supervisor told us no one called. This is our first time booking through this third party, and last time!

Booking date: 09/05/2019 Reservation confirmation #:** I was calling to make a book for me and my friend from 10/20/2019 to 10/24/2019. The operator told me the total price is $319.96. After double-checking the price, I consent this payment. However, the actual total shown on the confirmation email is $434.19, with the "Tax Recovery Charges & Service Fees" to be $114.23, which is incredibly high! The normal tax shown on their website is only $35.72. If I had been informed about this high-charging fee before, I would never book it! The problem is that, they didn't mention this fee at all throughout the phone call. I have asked the price twice and they just mentioned the original price. I've called them three times, and they refused to admit their mistake. When I requested to reach for their manager, they made an excuse that their manager is not available. And they said it is non-refundable and I can't get my money back. It seems like a fraud, doesn't it?
The customer services is awful too. I request the full refund many times, but they just tell me they can't do that because of their 'policy'. That's ridiculous because they didn't obey their 'policy' to tell customer the actual charge before I made the payment. One of the operator said 'Our previous already explains the policy'. Come on! It's not until AFTER the payment when I contact the customer service when they explain the policy, and they mentioned NOTHING about the service fee before I made the payment.
I request to talk to the manager, and they ask me to wait two hours for the manager to be available. When I made another phone call two hours later, they asked me to wait until such manager is available. Besides, they persuade me to give up since 'you will just receive the same answer'. I will NEVER give up until I get the solution. I'll try all method I could including the lawsuit. The operator is dodging and so is the manager. Do not believe them.

Made a booking online at their site on July 25th for Sept 16 in Tucson. I reached out to them on that date as the hotel couldn't find my reservation, I was told they were researching. ON Aug 8 I followed up again and was told that my RESERVATION WAS CONFIRMED. It was just too early for it to show up. I've check back every other week and was told not to worry. This morning I got an email from Sarah ** in their customer service dept who I have been emailing since July and she said the hotel is refusing to honor the booking and that I need to cancel it and go find another hotel. NO OFFER TO PROTECT ME FROM THE BOOKING THEY CONFIRMED! 8 AUG. "Good Morning, Please be advised that your reservation is confirmed and the hotel will have it we are just waiting for it to be finalized. Thank you for your patience!"

In early July of 2019 I called a Delta hotel reservation line, no rooms were left so the agent suggested a sister company (Clarion) which I never heard of before but I trust Marriott properties. I booked the room. It was for my family reunion in Michigan. I later find out that Clarion hotels are not affiliated with Marriott at all. The agent lied just to get a sale! I later found out that I was booked through a third party (Hotel Planner) and was trying not to give me my refund. So I called August 7th and told my story. The agent said she can cancel it and I would receive my refund in 7 days. Me and my fiance booked a new hotel and went to the family reunion.
Now almost a month later I receive a email saying I'm not going to receive it. Oh, I was also informed I could speed up the process if I called the hotel myself so I did. The reservation was cancelled so quickly Clarion had no record of it. Needless to say, I didn't stay at their property and I'm still without a refund. I called today and the customer service sucks. This company will go through lengths just to get a buck. I got bamboozled and I promise I will spread the word that Hotel Planner are unprofessional and crooks!!!!

I booked a hotel online and then learned that the hotel I booked had a government rate. As a government employee it was important for me to get that rate. I first chatted with Asia about my hotel reservation rate. She was unable to help but forwarded my request to Sarah. Somehow a link for hotel planner bookings was added to my sons website on wedding wire. The couple didn’t place it there nor their wedding planner. It had their names on it and the hotel where guests were planning to stay for their wedding. It had all the info about the wedding date the ripe of rooms and a rate with hold letters stating book hotel with a picture of the hotel.
When I placed my booking through they however the hotel stated that it was not correct, I was not on the wedding list and I had hooked through the wrong party. No credit would be counted for the couple. Advised I call hotel planner. My first phone call was with an extremely rude woman who told me under no circumstances was it refundable and I should have read or watched what I was doing. She would not even give a supervisors name or forward me to anyone when I explained what was going on on the website.
Finally she relented as I was having to be very persistent and gave me another number to call. This was all in May. After this call, no one returned my calls. I finally starting emailing. It was not until August and until Reginette ** became involved, that anything started materializing. I would like to thank her again for resolving this matter and mostly for keeping me up to date on any progress or even if there was no progress to report, she kept in touch. Thank you for crediting my card for a full refund. How the link appeared on the website still has not been answered but they were able to remove it so no one else made the mistake of using it.Sincerely Linda Kittle

Thank you for your review regarding your hotel reservation. We were able to locate your reservation in our system and we do show that it was booked via the wedding website provided by the Bridal Couple. At the time the bridal couple was creating their website they utilized the prepopulated hotel links provided with the wedding website for their guest to reserve rooms.
If the bridal couple has a block of rooms allocated with the hotel directly it is the SOLE RESPONSIBILITY of the bridal couple to provide that information on their wedding website and to provide specific instructions on how their guest can reserve within that block of room either by calling the hotel directly or using a link that the hotel provided to the bridal couple to share with their guest which the bridal couple DID NOT do upon initially creating their website as they utilized the prepopulated hotel links that are usually reserved for overflow of rooms if the block is full if they had a block with the hotel.
I do show that our reservation specialist did assist you in getting this reservation cancelled and refunded despite the nonrefundable policy and I do show that a full refund was processed back to your account.
Once again I do apologize to you if any of our agents were rude to you but they were following protocols as nonrefundable reservations cannot be cancelled.

Both times I've called into support and contacted chat has been a fairly smooth process. When wanted to update the names on the reservations, HotelPlanner rep called the front desk for me. When wanted to make several un-confirmed reservations, a different HotelPlanner rep helped me separate the reservations so that I could edit as necessary. Overall, so far so good.

Family wedding and reservations were made. Severe illness prohibited my family to attend. Would not discuss at hotel for risk of either side of family overhearing an issue with room discussed. My rep that I was assigned to tried really hard to get me a refund. It wasn't her fault the hotel wasn't complying. Charity was great. The process just took way too long than expected. However in the end I received my refund!

Refund - Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa. Third party incorrectly handled my hotel reservation for destination wedding next year. Charity ** was very instrumental in making sure refund was handled. I received an e-mail and phone call from her on a Thursday, assuring me that this charge would be taken off my charge card in 5-7 days. This amount (over $2000.00) was removed from my account three days later! Don't know what she did but I am grateful she did it.

Karen ** has been absolutely amazing. I booked a hotel room for a wedding coming up in a week, at the last second I could no longer attend the wedding and needed to cancel my room. I previously called the customer service line to get a reimbursement and had a bad experience with the employee on the other line. I then proceeded to email and explain my situation. Karen took care of me right away. I went from never wanting to use HotelPlanner again to being a loyal customer because of Karen.

I was amazed at the quick response I recieved from the Reservations Specialist team. My issue was expedited because we the tournament we were scheduled to play in canceled on us last minute. I made a change to my existing reservation only to find the next day that the change did not "stick". I have called repeatedly and have now been on hold for an hour without resolution except that I'll be charged for the extra night.

Thank you for contacting us. We were able to locate your reservation in our system and the type of reservation that you booked was a "Pay at Hotel" reservation meaning that any modifications to your reservation is made directly with the hotel so it would NOT reflect on your receipt that was booked in our system.
I was able to follow up with the hotel and I spoke with Front Desk Agent - Courtney who advised that your check in date was amended to check in on August 22nd, 2019 and that you will only be billed for 3 Nights - you will have to retrieve the reservation receipt from the hotel directly that will show the amendment to your reservation as it was amended directly in the hotels system.
As you are still in house at the hotel you are more than welcome to visit the front desk and they will confirm that information for you and provide you with the necessary documentation as the change was made in their system.
