This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The floors were stained and the lamps were missing light bulbs. The Windows peeled and so did all the furniture. As soon as I walked in I wanted to leave and it smelled like poop. I was afraid to put my hair on the bed. I was also scared to go in the pool. There is no elevator so you have to carry your luggage up 2 flights of stairs. The only good part about my stay is that I was only staying 1 night. We will never be returning to any Days Inn hotel ever again. I recommend you do not stay there you will regret it immediately!!! This place is disgusting and I have no idea how they remain open.

My husband and I moved here after living in our car for 7 weeks. The experience has been horrible. I am told every day I will have to move out for one reason or another. I have guest and family over to see me. They have told me they could not go to the pool with me. I have my disabled son living with me and they try every day to make us move out. This is franchised by Indians, horrible people to deal with, charging me $1 for toilet tissue... The list goes on. I will never recommend this place, has left a bad taste in my mouth...

I made reservations through Expedia on Friday night, July 29th at Days Inn at Hampton VA. When I checked in they asked to verify my Debit Card. We checked out Saturday morning. On Monday, Aug 1, I was checking my bank balance. I was shocked to see I was overdrawn because Expedia took $98.75 and Days Inn took out $75.37. Monday morning I called Days Inn and they said they will take care of it. It should be back in my account 3 or 4 days.

On Monday Aug 8th I still had not received the credit. I called Days Inn again. They told me they had put it through on the 8th and I would have it in my account the next day. Today is the 9th. Still nothing. My bank has not received any credit. In the meantime I have had to put a claim into my bank to get the overdraft taken off. I really think that I should receive the night free for all the trouble I have been through. I am also contacting Expedia with the same complaint. We left early and did not get a receipt.

We had paid for a room at the Days Inn in Leigh Valley Allentown, PA on July 10, 2016. Our stay was to be on my grandson's 7th birthday after a day at Dorney Park. I had all the confirmation paperwork with me. But when we arrived, exhausted, at the hotel they had sold our room. The attendant at the counter had no interest in explaining himself or looking at our confirmation numbers. There was a big party going on that was spilling out into the lobby and the parking lot. I stayed at the desk for several minutes but was getting nowhere with this clerk. I even offered to pay cash for another room but he said they were fully booked.

Our party consisted of the 7-year old birthday boy, a young lady who was a high-risk pregnancy, and myself who suffers from severe white matter disease which causes strokes and also COPD and was due for a breathing treatment. I could see the car from the lobby and a few patrons from the bar were starting to bother my daughter (the pregnant one) so I was compelled to leave the desk. We Sat upset and in complete despair. I had planned this out so well. This was so unexpected.

We decided to try a hotel down the road. And again, they were fully booked, and they told us we were not going to be able to find a room in the area because of a sporting event that was going on in town. This is when I knew we were in real trouble. We searched a few more hotels, in hopes of finding one room but they were all full. We were so exhausted from Dorney park that driving home seemed out of the question. We got lost. Pulled over by a police officer because my daughter had directions in her hand while driving. I can't read due to the stroke disorder.

Finally a nice security officer at the last place we stopped drove ahead of us to the exit that would take us home. I worried all the way about my daughter and the baby she was carrying. My grandson was in tears because he overheard my daughter tell the officer we were lost. And I was becoming more and more in need of a breathing treatment and rest. When we got home, I called the man who sold us the Dorney / Hotel package and he was very nice and gave us all our money back. But the hotel would not return our calls.

Finally when they did, they were snippet about the situation and said, "You got your money back so you're all set, right?" Well no, that's not right. What about ruining my grandson's 7th birthday? What about putting my daughter at risk? What about the law you broke by not providing us with a room? Yes, the law states, if you prepay, the hotel is obligated to make sure that you get one. Even if they have to drive you to a more expensive hotel. It's the LAW. So, I asked for free 2 nights stay at their hotel. And, get this... the girl says to me, "We're not in the business of giving away hotel rooms". Well you certainly could have fooled me!! You didn't have any trouble giving away mine.

I would never risk staying at a Days INN again. I can understand making a mistake, but it's the entire attitude about the whole situation that bothers me. They just could care less. What if that was your family? I wouldn't risk it. There are much better hotels out there. That actually follow the rules and the laws and actually care about their customers.

So I book a reservation at 5 pm Monday, Aug 1 - Tuesday, Aug 2. My flight arrives Monday evening at 11 pm. At that time I begin to try and call the hotel to be picked up from the airport and I get an operator telling me that the number is not taking phone calls. I try another three times and still get the same message, so at this point I'm confused, irritated, and tired. I called the Days Inn customer service number and they attempt to call and there is no answer for them. So now I'm pissed because I'm tired and ready to go to bed so I demand to talk to a manager. Well they connect me to a line that rings for twenty minutes, ultimately there is nothing that they can do for me. SO I had to pay $25 for a taxi and book another room for $80 at a different hotel and now Days Inn are refusing to give me my money back. They will get no more of my business in any state or country and I will slam their name any chance I get!

DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT go to Days Inn at Southern Hills off 91st S Lewis here in Tulsa, OK. I have NEVER been treated so poorly in my life. It's hard enough being ** out here nowadays and being a married lesbian just adds to the hate. I go to check out like I've done a million times, the clerk states she needs to go check my room. Cool, I've never seen that before, but no biggie right? Negative! She comes back telling me there is a hand towel missing and my card will be charged. Now mind you, I pick up my room before I leave. I know the life of a housekeeper because I've been one before. I tell the clerk I know for a fact there was only 1 hand towel when I arrived. She tells me I'm welcome to go back and check. Of course I'm going to go back and check (FYM?). I bring ALL the towels down and count each one with her. Then she switch up and say there should have been two.

"Look here, you better call ya manager because you not about to play me." This entire time I never cuss her out (even though I wanted to). I realize we ALL have a job to do. However, the manager states he will waive the fee, but I'm banned from coming back to the hotel. I asked why? She couldn't give me a straight answer. I haven't done anything wrong. My family was quiet, we were not disruptive, we never smoked in the room (it was a non-smoking room), we abided by all of the property rules. The entire reason we were there was due to the power outage (yes power is restored now) due to recent storms. The person before me checking out was a ** male and DID NOT have his room checked when I checked in and the same as I checked out (which is why I thought that whole process was weird).

If you are ** and especially ** and apart of the LGBT family, relatives, friends, associates, eye hustlers, whoever DO NOT give this hotel your business!!! It's a shame that the owner is Indian (Middle Eastern), which is also a minority in America, and you still feel the need to treat my wife, my son, and I that way. We are all human in the end. You bleed red, I bleed red. Please share.

When I came down and told a front desk person (a woman) about the blood on my foot and told to clean better the room.

On the night at 1pm 06/30/2016 I saw something crawling on my pillow and when I tried to catch it run fast but I caught and look at it was a bedbug. I checked under the pillow and found one more and two more on the pillow where my daughter was sleeping. She woke up and started to look so frustrated to see them. I went downstairs to front office and it was closed then I ring at the window. The girl came out and I showed her. She gave me a key from room 302 to move in. We moved to 302. In the morning I spoke to a manager who called himself Michael and told him about bedbugs on what he said he would call an exterminator to check the room for bedbugs. I told him that my daughter did not sleep all night because she was so upset and frustrated about bedbugs so the manager said that he will waived fees for one night.

When my friend joanne and I stayed at Days Inn in Gatlinburg, TN on April 10-12, we had a problem. We could not get out of our room. I called front desk and after a time there was 5 people trying to get the door open. If there had been a fire we would have been dead!!! Finally after 2 1/2 hours later they were still working on the door. I got the idea of taking off the hinges, which I did. The owner, Ken, said he would give us a free breakfast and comp us two (2) nights for our trouble.

When we left the next day I was told the computers were down and that it would be taken care of. My mistake was leaving before it was done. I had faith that being Days Inn I had nothing to worry about. I was wrong!! To this day I have not seen any refund, which would amount to $182.33. I disputed it with Visa but They can't do anything about it so I am turning to you for help with this. It is just his word against mine. Please let me know what you can do about this and if I don't hear from you I will follow another course of action. Thank you.

Granted we knew what to expect in a 2 star Hotel but was doing the event a favor. Which is why per our rider nothing less than a 3 star Hotel is acceptable. However I did not expect the Hotel to also have dishonest employees working there. I have left some of my personal items - clothing in the bathroom. I started calling the night I returned home and given an answer that my call would be returned because the rooms were put out of service till housekeeping went in. That never happened, I had to call every day with a different story every call.

My 5th day is when I finally spoke with the General Manager and she assured me that she would find out what was going on and would call back the next day. The call never came the next day so I had to call back and she never got on the phone, only the receptionist to say the general Manager is away from the desk and they did not find any clothing in the room. I finally called Customer Care and was informed by ** she very concerned with my issue and I would receive a return call by 6/23/16. Hello!!! It never happened! Needless to say as I am typing this I am back on the phone on hold of course waiting for Customer Care to pick up. I have been on hold now for over 30 minutes. This place literally sucked. We travel all over the country for our self employed business... I have neck issues, hip issues, fibromyalgia and arthritis. We sleep in the truck a night then try to find a decently priced room for us and my dogs... 40lb Bassett Mix, 12lb Chi mix and 4lb Yorkie (who was up ALL night long because the lady RIGHT beside us had 6 CHIs that barked all night long) to get a hot shower a good night sleep before hitting the road again for 24 more hrs. The floors felt like they had 1/2 inch of grease on them... The hot water wasn't even lukewarm and the cold water was lukewarm. So much for my hot shower which I waited to get until morn because my body aches and burns and wanted to wash all the nasty from the gross room. WHEN WERE THE COMFORTERS WASHED LAST???

So I packed up, washed up and my boyfriend goes to check out and complain. Manager's lame ass excuse was "can't have the water too scalding and if you want to complain... I can give you 20% off or I can charge you $30 per dog...” because we only paid $30 for one dog. We said we had dogs... $30 per dog for a room that my dogs may "catch" something in?? I could see a deposit but not $90 for 3 dogs all over 5 yrs old (that don't weigh 60lbs together) is ridiculous and so is your customer service… so you're telling me the lady right next to us is paying $150-$180 A NIGHT just for her dogs? I will start charging "our" customers more now because you want to charge me and I will let them know Days Inn is the reason for it.

So I didn't get a hot shower OR A GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP. And you sir, didn’t make it right with us either… I will never stay at a Days Inn anywhere and you sir HAVE YOURSELF TO THANK. I ALSO always leave a tip for a maid service but you obviously don’t have one. Instead of trying to make it right you want to try to screw me. Thank you for NOTHING. And next time when you screw your customers... YOU SHOULD AT LEAST GIVE THEM A KISS. If you want a miserable stay, my friends go to this place.

My wife and I have been exclusively staying in the Wyndham Hotel Group the past three years since retiring and receiving a generous 20% off AARP discount. We find the Travelodge brand adequate though we find the Days Inn brand, when a Travelodge is not available, lacking, if not troublesome. I had booked an overnight room for my spouse at the Days Inn & Suites, 24400 Mission Blvd, Hayward 94544, for a May 9, 2016 stay. My wife received Room 207. Returning home the following day, May 10, 2016, my wife was itchy; subsequently, my wife and I discovered three bites around her navel. Upon close inspection, we determined the three bites are bedbug bites.

As a result, we contacted the Alameda County Vector Control Services District and our credit card company, reporting the bedbugs. Though in an-away-from-the-street room, my wife reported loud bus and truck traffic at night, difficulty in sleeping. In the evening, she had noticed an abandoned large cardboard box between the parking lot and the office. The next morning, 6:30 a.m., an apparently homeless person sat next to the large box, consuming a cup of coffee. She did not feel safe on the hotel's property.

We didn't have 2 towels in the room but you know it was only one GOD made He is the only one that is perfect.

We went up to front desk about 1 in the morning and the front desk lady by the name Karen gave us another even though she said that housekeeping had the laundry room locked. She went and got us one out of the dryer. She fixed the problem and did it with a smile. Even though the evening girl wasn't friendly Karen made everything good because one thing goes wrong don't mean everything else is wrong. People think before you write a bad review. I booked a room at the Days Inn in Santa Cruz CA. On Expedia.com prior to my arrival. When I got there at about 9 p.m. I was tired. The person in the front office was rude comma and held me up for 45 minutes. Because of an error on their part. He was not apologetic. I was tired and I just wanted to get my room and go to bed. When I checked into my room it was too late to use the hot tub. Because they close it at 10 p.m. And I wanted to use it before I went to bed. I was told I would be charged $25 for a charge. The man told me that he charged my debit card for this. When I check then the next thing I know there is no hot water in my room. I tried to call the front office. No answer.

So I walked out to the front desk, and the man tells me that I need to move to another room. Which was fine with me. When I checked into the other room the fixture in the shower was broken and there was no hot water there either. So I was moved one more time. At this point I was exhausted and went to bed. The next morning I went online and booked one more day. When I went out to the front office to confirm this they told me my card was declined and I would not be able to stay that night.

When I ask them why they told me because it was declined for the pet fee. I argued with them for a minute. Then I went and called my bank. There was money on my card, and no reason for them to have question this fee when this was finally resolved. I went out to use the hot tub, and it was broken and not hot. They told me they would probably bring someone in to fix it. At the end of the day there was still no hot tub. When I called the office they said that they would have someone come and fix it in a couple of days. By this time I would be gone. They were rude and I did not enjoy my stay. I would not recommend the Days Inn 2NE1 to anyone...

Upon entering our room #631 we got wet feet at the sink, as there was a leak in the sink drain pipe. Then we found the toilet didn't flush. We didn't complain about this at night as it was 10 pm and we just wanted to go to sleep. During the night I was bitten by bed bugs. There was no question that they were bed bug bites, as I have had the unfortunate experience of being bitten by bed bugs in European hostels. The pattern of bed bug bites is quite familiar to me. There is a series of bites in a row, each about half inch apart. This we did complain about to the owner the next morning.

This is serious stuff as we could have brought the bugs home with us in luggage or our clothes. A bed bug is a horrendous problem and not easy to get rid of. We demanded a partial refund for our problem. The owner refused, claiming we were trying to scam him for a free night. My wife threatened to stay in the lobby all day if he didn't give us some satisfaction. Finally he gave us a 50% refund. Okay, then he said he would have us blacklisted at Days Inn. Fine there are many other hotels we stay. We don't need Days Inn. Oh, by the way minor complaint in comparison: the orange juice at breakfast was obviously watered down.

I booked a oceanfront room with balcony a month in advance because that weekend in Miami Beach was busy and hotels were filling up quickly. I received a confirmation email and confirmed 3 times by phone. While travelling, I confirmed once again, to be certain our room would be awaiting when we check-in at 12:30 am. When we arrived, the rude receptionist said our room (and several other rooms) "didn't have electricity" and we had to move to the Holiday Inn down the street. It's 1 am and we are tired; my wife, daughter and I then drag our luggage to the Holiday Inn. The equally rude receptionists put us in a room. This room had a view of a wall and the bathroom fixture is loose.

When I returned home, my bank account showed 4 days billed instead of two. This caused two $35 overdraft fees. I called the Days Inn manager (Martin) and voiced my complaints. He led me to believe via email that I would be compensated with Wyndham Rewards. Martin isn't responding to my emails, so I'm on Consumer Affairs and the BBB. I would bet, the Days Inn sold my room and other rooms for a higher price. Stay away from the Days Inn Miami Beach!

Now I'm being forced to check out, with no place to go, on such short notice, and I have my children with me, because I stated that I was on my way to the Atm machine to get the money, to pay for my stay. I didn't like the way I was approached, and yet still held my composure, until the manager began speaking to me, as if I were her child. I am careful to always be respectful to other people, but because I don't always say what's on my mind, doesn't give anyone the right to approach me, in a negative way, and expect a positive response. I may be forced to check out, but God sees all things, and I've done nothing wrong.

Days Inn Motel - Tappahannock, VA. This Days Inn is 1 mile from my home. First time reservation with them was when my neighborhood lost water due to a pipe leak. I called my local Days Inn and asked about the rate. Was told that for local citizens there was a lower rate for emergencies. Arrived and was given a key, drove around the building, put key in door, opened and there sitting on the bedspread was a 300-lb naked man. I screamed and closed the door. Back to office for new room and clerk laughed about my encounter -- was not funny! Showed me the only other room available -- no air conditioning. I left.

Christmas weather on the river here was horrible and I could not drive to visit family 60 miles away. Lost my internet and then the telephone and used a cell phone to call the Days Inn once again. Told them that I wanted to reach my relatives via internet and they assured me there would be no problem. I checked in about 9:00 pm and logged on but within the hour I lost the internet connection and never got to speak with my son in Minnesota or sister in Georgia or relatives in Richmond, VA. Checked out at 5:00 am, did not get a receipt but the fee was appears on my credit card log (12/28/15 PURCHASE AUTHORIZED ON 12/25 DAYS INN TAPPAHANNOCK VA **). Wrote a letter to the local Days Inn, but did not receive a reply.

Checking my account, I noted the hotel charged me for the room on my card after I paid in cash. Next time I traveled to the area, I stayed at the hotel again. I supplied the documents to the manager/owner asking him to refund or correct the charge to my card. He seemed willing but never corrected. I called Days Inn main complaint service to get results as now a month has gone by. They were going to send me a email to supply the documents which they did not do. Called the hotel again and owner asked me not to call again and hung up. Recommend DO NOT STAY at a Days Inn. At least NEVER give them your card info! Sorry private owners.

Visit with family for holidays - first room, #224, mold growing on carpet under sink, slow drain, mold in bathroom on tub faucet. Called Front Desk, they offered to relocate us which was nice. We had already changed clothes before we noticed and the beds seemed fine, so we waited to change rooms the next morning as we were staying a total of three days. Next room, #222, was better but there was mascara on the mirror, hair was on the counter, nasty crud on the coffee maker, water in the coffee maker, a bug in the coffee maker, fridge had cola or something sticky inside, dust was around all of the baseboards where the carpet had a gray appearance, the maid NEVER came to make the beds or bring fresh supplies.

When I went to the Front Desk, there was some kind of security booth where you pick up a phone and wait for the people to come to the front. It took several rings of the phone to get them to come to the front. While I'm standing there, I notice customer names, room numbers, receipts stacked right in front of the window. The man that came to the window was apologetic that the maid didn't come, gave me some wash cloths, and I just took them upstairs. If the beds weren't clean, I would have left, but for convenience we just toughed it out. It was New Year's and Macon motels are usually filled with the party scene so we opted for the small town stay. I try to be fair, honestly and I've never even put anything on this website. But this is honestly in need of change - the whole motel needs to be cleaned and updated.

I told them they would need to accommodate and IMMEDIATELY the front desk receptionist becomes defensive and told me to "calm down before she called the police." Am I supposed to be calm with BED BUG BITES!?! I asked for a refund for the "general manager" Jose to tell me it's going to take 3-5 days to refund, and I needed to leave or he would have the police escort me out. I asked for the corporate information and Jose said he was the boss and refused to give me that information.

I have Bed Bugs on camera and they were infested all over the headboard and crawling all over the walls. I stepped in the room, laid on the bed and immediately was attacked. THIS HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE!!! I SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN TREATED LIKE THIS!! THESE EMPLOYEES HAVE NO COMPASSION. I was not offered another room. I was not offered any accommodations. The first room was dirty and smelled funny, so they moved me the second room, which was worse than the first. The walls had been repaired with a different color paint, the carpet was filthy, the furniture was 1970 at best, and it was totally different from the picture they showed on the website. The drapes were all wrinkled like they just took them out the dryer, the iron was missing, it took 3 hours for them to bring me one. It was a room from the Bates Motel I swear to god.

I stayed on the phone from 730pm to 130 pm, trying to get my money back to no avail. They wanted to put it back on my debit card, which would have taken 7 days at least. Mind you, I prepaid them 60 days prior and then they wanted to charge me a cancellation fee. I was only staying 3 days and it was for my 14-year-old son's Christmas present. Again the place is a 29.00 room at best, so stay away from 5858 International Drive Days Inn.

I stopped in the Days Inn Motel in Muskogee, OK needing to get some work done on the (Internet). There's a BIG SIGN outside that says Free WiFi. So I pay the $49.99+ tax to get a room. Well get the room and find out there's 5 router signals that pick up but later to find out that none of them hold signal for longer than 5 min. So now I'm getting upset cause I have work to do and then I go complain to the front desk "Head Mgr." His response was like they never have problems. This is an extended stay establishment, so I asked around and the response from multiple tenants was "they always have problems with the Internet".

So then I wait a few minutes or so to see if anything changes. Well it did. It wasn't the Internet though, it was the person at the front desk. Now it's a lady and I must say she tried. She sent me to 3 different other rooms where I still couldn't get it. Then she says, "Well sorry I can't give you a refund. You'll have to talk to the Mgr. when he gets back in the morning." So now I'm pissed off cause he won't be back till time for check out! Moral of my story is, I was misled by a big sign that said Free WiFi. It is another form of false advertising, otherwise I never would have gone. I was just actually paying to use their WiFi but I got jipped. Never will I go back again, should've went somewhere else. Days Inn Oceanside, CA - Carmello Dr. I made reservations on October 9, 2015, for a stay over Thanksgiving... Plenty of time for my special request to face the Marina or beach. I was assured that my request would be put in. I told the man I would make reservations elsewhere if I could not face the water, anywhere except the parking lot. I was assured again that my request had been noted and that every attempt to make that request would be granted. I called the day of my arrival to let them know that we would be a late arrival, and to make sure again that our request was noted. I was told several times by the person who answered the phone that there was no note. I told her to then put a note. She then started to tell me there would be an extra fee to face the Marina or ocean, and I was not told that over the phone on October 9, 2015. She then told me that no smoking rooms even faced the beach or Marina.

So I was blatantly lied to, and misled, just to get a room there because I told him I would make reservations elsewhere if I could not face the beach or the Marina... So in order to get my reservation, he lied to me. Then when I asked to speak to a manager, I was told no manager would be there until Monday. I called Corporate Office only to be told I would have someone contact me to resolve the situation by December 3rd. Resolve the situation? Resolve what? I'll be gone by then and our special weekend, that we CANNOT GET BACK, will be over!!! What resolve is there in that? So, now we are stuck with a room we don't want, looking at what we don't want, and there is nothing we can do about it! How about that for customer service? Customer gets screwed again!!!

Wet towels that should have been replaced were left. No attempt to straighten the quarters was made. When I called the front desk to advise them of this, "Cheniqua" asked me if there had been anything left on the bed that wasn't made. I told her no.

Then she asked me if we had put the Do Not Disturb hanger on the outside of the front door. I told her no, and that BOTH sides of the hanger said Do Not Disturb, and since we wanted maid service we left it off. Not sure what either question had to do with anything. Our experience was at the Days Inn, located in Butler, Missouri. It began during check in. The price that we were quoted and king size bed that was offered in that quote was not honored. It took five minutes to finally agree on a price that was still more than what we were quoted on our way to the hotel. We were in town for a funeral and got there just in time to leave for the visitation. We did notice right away that the comforter was dirty on one of our beds, as we were not given our king size bed but two queens. The manager offered to wash our comforter for us. After returning from the visitation, we pulled down the sheets in the bed and first spotted what appeared to be pubic hair. We then proceeded to pull back each layer of the bed and discovered a bedbug (we weren't sure at first but after researching later we did confirm that it was a bedbug), excessive stains, and a lot more hair! I mean a lot!

When bringing this to the managers attention, he offered to move us to a different room. He took us to look at the room and it was worse than the first room. He then proceeded to show us another room. That room was just as bad as the second room. Keep in mind, each room we went into we pulled down the bedding layer by layer in front of the manager, who witnessed the awful sites. The third room that the manager opened up, he wouldn't even let us in (after turning the light on, he said, "Oh, not this one"). He then proceeded to show the final room that we looked at, and that too was just as bad as the others. When asking him how in the world this happens, he stated that they were not responsible for cleaning the mattress pads, therefore some hairs and such get transferred to the sheets. Seriously!?

Keep in mind that this is a very small town offering only two options for a place to lay your head. One was a hotel (Days Inn), the other was a motel (Super 8). The manager then shook his head and hands and said, "I will give you a refund and you can go stay somewhere else." We accepted the refund, went to the only other place, and woke up with three bites on my leg (guess we didn't get out of there fast enough). We will never stay in another Days Inn again because of this experience. Actually, also because of the other hundred comments on this site that prove that this happens all of the time, in different states, all being Days Inns! It definitely pays to read the reviews beforehand.

At first glance, the room appeared ok. The only thing I noticed was the chair at the desk looked kind of worn (torn at the top in the corner). We (husband, son, grandson and I) noticed a couple of Mosquitos, but just sprayed the mosquito spray we purchased for our trip. This seemed to have stopped the Mosquitos. Later that night, my son (12) went to the bathroom, he saw a bug and jumped up off of the floor. Our 17 year old grandson disposed off the bug in the toilet. I asked him what kind of bug, they didn't know.

Later, between 1:30 and 2:00 a.m., my husband went to the bathroom. When he flipped on the light, he said he saw a few roaches. From that point on, I stayed up to keep watch. I apologized for waking my husband up 3 more times when I saw roaches go behind the television by way of the cabinet door. There were little black bugs that appeared from time to time. When opening the drawer between both beds, some kind of black bug ran into the drawer. He ran so fast, I couldn't tell what it was. Ants periodically appeared over by the wash sink. Also, don't ask me where they came from, but the Mosquitos came back this time with a vengeance. I called the front desk and told we would not be staying 3 nights and would be checking out first thing in the morning. I also told her why and her reply was "OK".

When we checked out in the morning, I went through every piece of clothing and luggage we had to ensure none of these creepy crawlers hitched a ride. It's possible that the critters may have come in through the vent in the bathroom which didn't work. I thought it was against regulations to have a bathroom without a window or a working vent in the bathroom. I asked for the manager for the 3rd time and was told he hadn't made it in and no one knew when he would be in. I also informed the morning front desk clerk of the many bugs and roaches in our room. Her reply was "We've been getting a lot of complaints about that." Clearly, the manager nor the staff see this as a problem.

Judging from our horrible experience and the other comments I've read, "Days Inn should be Shut Down". Oh Yes, wouldn't want to forget the name of the "Missing In Action General Manager Bryant **" per the cards at the front desk in Forrest City, Arkansas. Our visit was August 12, 2015. In order to go to the other side of the room the partner had to stand to the side and let the other go by. Beds were small for 2 people. The cover of the bed was stained, not the comforter but the top quilt.

One tiny piece of soap for two people to wash the face and take a shower. One little bottle of shampoo. Breakfast area was small, 3 tables and not much to choose from. The price for this 2 rooms # 228 and 230 (our sister and brother in law's) each - $ 152.99 plus $ 18.36 for taxes. So each room $ 171.35. The hallways smelt musty.

Sister-in-law's TV did not even work but we should have complaint. We just wanted the night to be over and leave this place. Lobby way too small, one sofa and on the other side the cleaning ladies were sitting taking their break. So from now on back to the Hampton Inns. Clean, good breakfast, and nice good sized rooms. Checked in @ 3:00pm August 7, 2015 & checked out August 9, 2015. The shower/tub was filthy with pinkish-colored soap scum that was so thick that I scraped it off with my fingernail. The tub had a black ring around it about 6 inches up from the bottom of the tub, and also had black crusty-feeling gunk in its corner. The corners of the floor were nasty; one had dirt caked about an inch out into the floor, the other had a spider web…spider included. The vents did not work in the bathroom either, and the sink had not been cleaned, the soap dish was nasty & had hair in it. The electrical outlet was attached to the mirror directly behind the water faucet... Not very safe in my opinion!

The refrigerator had close to 2" of ice frozen over in it; the top of the inside of the freezer compartment had green stuff on it that looked like mold; and there was old food that had been left in the bottom part of the fridge; the outside seal had mildew all around it. The phone did not work, the carpet was dirty, and the weather stripping was gone from under the door and leaving a gap large enough for small critters to crawl under.

At precisely 3:00am Saturday morning, some man used a key to unlock our door and opened it! He was slipping his fingers around the edge of the door attempting to open the security latch when my husband screamed at him, at which point he yelled something back angrily and left. Management said no one else had a key besides us. But that guy had a key!!!

I purchased cleaning products, & scrubbed the tub and shower myself so we could use it, and defrosted the refrigerator & cleaned it out as well. The pool was closed (we were told by someone that the health department had shut it down a week or so before our arrival). The ad online said a "full breakfast " but it was "continental breakfast," and there was so little of even that food set out that we went to a restaurant to have breakfast.

I complained about all this to the manager, requesting a different room, but was told there were no more rooms available. I feel that they should have reimbursed us part of the room fee, but that didn't happen. As a matter of fact the customers were lined up in the lobby to add their complaints to the list. We will NEVER EVER EVER STAY AT DAYS INN AGAIN!! I will never give this hotel chain a recommendation again, and will advise my friends to stay away too!

I was visiting my sister with my mom and granddaughter in Colorado Springs Colorado. We were given Room 120, well my mom has her companion dog she takes everywhere. It's summer so we need air conditioner. Checked the control to turn on A/C and didn't work. Next I check bathroom and pulled curtain back in shower. There was a clump of black hair on soap shelf came out. Felt a drip and there was a drop of water on ceiling. Used toilet, finished and no soap. I called desk to tell them about issue and to change rooms. We go to front desk address issues, staff at location expressed that there were no more rooms with double beds so they gave us Room 138 with large bed. I had employee come into bathroom and lifted up toilet seat, inside toilet was dirty. Pulled shower curtain and bathtub had more hair than first room.

We left to visit with family. Returned to motel, I took washcloth with shampoo and cleaned toilet bathtub and floor which I as guest shouldn't have to. This morning I took washcloth to front desk before eating continental breakfast to show staff at desk, employee put in baggie. The only plus here was the breakfast was damn good. Joann who cooked it and I told her it was good while talking about unsanitary rooms and forgot pool area unsafe as in steps on pool are loose and cigarette butts on floor in pool area. I can't even rate this a 1 because not only dirty but unsafe and the only way I would stay here is if I was kidnapped and held hostage. I stayed in other Days Inn and they were clean and nice so what happened WOW and my family seen this so my mom will be writing her own review.

We stayed at the Days Inn in St. Cloud, MN on July 24-25, 2015 and was absolutely disgusted that the Days Inn would be logo/name would be associated with this hotel. There were some skeptical looking people drinking and smoking in the parking lot right by the front door, the parking lot was full of potholes and the building looked like it needed a complete overhaul. Little did we know once we checked in it wasn't just the outside of the building but the ENTIRE building.

We had 3 rooms (116, 119 and 125) and each room was supposedly non-smoking yet that's all you could smell in the rooms and hallways (we had to go out and buy Lysol and room fresheners to get rid of the smells). The lamps were falling apart, the mattress was horrible, it was just an old AC in the wall that half worked and mix match of furnitures, 2 dining room chairs to sit on and put your suitcase on (really!!!). The ceiling was falling apart, the carpet was disgustingly gross (we never took our shoes off - no way were we walking barefeet), there were no extra pillows to be had as they had no room to store extra pillows. We did check the mattress for bed bugs and thankfully there were none.

All rooms only had double beds or king bed and we told Priceline when we were bidding that we needed 3 rooms with 3 people in each. What part of a double bed is NOT going to fit 3 people in each room did they not get? We had to upgrade one of the rooms to a King (the only one they had left) and put our son between us, the other 2 rooms we had their kids stay with friends who were at the AmericInn. If we hadn't of prepaid thinking we were getting a decent hotel (Days Inn are normally great) we would have packed up and moved over to the AmericInn. We will NEVER book with the Days Inn no matter what location and we travel a lot with sports (baseball and basketball) and we will be sure to tell everyone of this disgusting hotel that Days Inn is associated with. You should be ashamed of yourselves allowing these kinds of hotel to represent you and giving false advertisement to people.

By the time we checked on Sunday my asthma was out of control because of the smoke smells in the room and bathroom (bathroom curtain smelled like an ashtray) and I didn't sleep for fear of someone trying to break in, the ceiling falling on top of me or worse yet "bugs". Oh and the pool was a disgustingly green/yellow color so we didn't allow the kids to swim or get in the hot tub. Very very bad experience in all of our years of travel.

Who can keep up such a pace for 6 hrs straight? As a weakened cancer patient I dare not confront them & management does not wish to call the police. I feel trapped with no means of self defense. My complaint is strictly with the franchise owner Shirley. All of my services while staying at room 123 in the Days Inn Riverside Tyler Mall located at 10545 Magnolia Ave. in Riverside CA have been peaceful, maid service is very well. I give one star of the attitude of **. There was a noise complaint with me that my children were banging on the wall at about 6:30 pm I believe. Shirley came to my door and as I opened it she told me I needed to stop the banging. I told her "I have my kids but I will do my best." My kids haven't banged on the wall, they were playing with the phone that I told her I had disconnected so they couldn't make any calls. That was the closest thing to banging I could think of.

She processed to tell me that the people next to me have cancer and don't want the noise (I wouldn't think they would want that information told to a complete stranger btw. So I believe it's safe to say she has no respect for other peoples privacy.). Then that she has 2 sons and I need to control my kids. At this point after being insulted as a parent I told her that I couldn't stop my kids from being kids. She responded by telling me I was refusing to control my kids by saying that when I had just told her I would do my best. She then said I needed to keep them from screaming. They never screamed but one of my kids tripped and started crying. I have no problem with the actual complaint or the people now referred as having cancer however my issue is only with the way the owner spoke to me she was very rude and short with me.

I do not believe this location to be a family friendly place. I went up to the office after getting my kids to sleep and asked for the site number and her information and she refused telling me that she was the owner. The most I got was her name. It could have been a normal conversation. She never introduced herself when she came to my room, never asked me about the complaint or anything of a friendly nature. I have been at the hotel for a few days now and this was the first and only complaint so I really don't understand being treated like I was and to avoid another run in with her when my kids cry I leave the hotel. I wouldn't recommend this location to families with small children.

Well I used to think that Days Inn was an upstanding hotel chain. Boy was I wrong. I booked a Days Inn room at the Days Inn at 1920 East Higgins Road, Elk Grove Village, IL. Online, they only show you a picture of the lobby area, which looked pretty good. But when I got there, I was in total shock. First I never knew that Days Inns were motels too. There is a reason why they only showed the lobby -- it's their best feature. My first night I found a spider at the top of one of the beds. I killed it and went and I complained about it. I was told that I couldn't be moved until Sunday.

I didn't move but wished I had. My sheets were not changed in days, until I complained about it. My bathroom was dirty with hair all over the shower walls and poop smudges on the toilet seat and the lid was down. They put fresh, dingy wash cloths and towels in the bathroom but never cleaned it. How can anyone do that? I complained about that and they came right away. I guess they had to when they knew they were wrong for not cleaning it in the first place. All they did each day was leave the towels and wash cloths and made the beds (not change the sheets) and left the room. The carpet was filthy dirty and I do mean filthy. My white socks were black as the street after walking on the carpet. Water in the sink smelled rusty. Couldn't use that.

My mom fell in the bathroom on the slippery floor. There is nothing on the floor to keep you from falling. The mist from the shower makes the floor slippery. They need to put non-slip strips on the bathroom floor to keep falls from happening. If my mom had hurt herself, I would have had a lawsuit filed. Needless to say I put up with too much and cut my stay short. Never have I experienced such treatment from any hotel/motel. Motel 6 and Super 8 motels are far better than the Days Inn I stayed in in Elk Grove Village, IL. Days Inn will not be on my list of go to hotels nor will I ever recommend them to anyone. Not even my enemies. Not a happy customer. Let's see what will happen.

Furthermore this female housekeeper and her African American helper were talking outside our door while our door was wide open. No should have to sleep on anybody's dirty sheets. Later she said to him that she was collecting info for the labor board on numerous labor law violations she was previously interviewed about but at the time refused to discuss. We traveled to Florida for vacation on July, 2nd 2015 and after long time ride (around 4AM) we decided to stay at one your hotels near Hwy. 95. We picked Days Inn Tuberville located at 7835 Myrtle Beach Hwy, Gable, SC 29051. The lady who assisted us was nice and gave us a room right away. Upon arrival to our room we realized that the room clearly was not ready for the next guests. Due to our fatigue from being on the road we decided not to make an immediate complaint.

In the morning we were preparing to get back on the road and decided to grab breakfast since we were advised breakfast is served between 6:30-9:00AM. I came downstairs to get something for my kids between 8:45 8:50AM and there was nothing prepared. I asked 2 of your employees Ms. ** and Ms. ** (behind the desk) if I could get something and this is where my issue began. They addressed me very rudely without any empathy and stated there was no more breakfast available because it was close to 9AM. We paid $89.95 for one night and the last thing I really wanted to argue about was breakfast!? I asked for a manager and the employees fearlessly answered that she is in the hospital.

This seemed unacceptable to me and clearly gave them an impression that they could treat customers any type of way without any disciplinary action! I told them they shouldn't be acting like this because working in the hotel means providing customers with constant hospitality and helping them with their requests. I didn't get any answers while Ms. ** continued looking at her computer and totally ignored me. After my request I finally got a business card and left but I realized that I forgot to ask about the employees names and returned. When I came back Ms. ** totally changed her attitude and became nicer.

Ms. ** didn't change anything and become even ruder than before while I was asked for information. She didn't want to give me her name, even after I had asked her multiple times. The issue with breakfast and the unfinished room wasn't an issue anymore at this point. My biggest issue was the lack of customer service received and the attitude your staff shows towards their guest. I would really appreciate a response in regards to this matter. I normally would not take the time to write a letter like this, but I was so upset that I felt I had to contact you. I will remember the customer service I had at this Days Inn next time I am choosing a hotel to stay in.

As soon as I saw the pictures of the Los Angeles-Days Inn Airport South Bay/Lawndale ("Days Inn Lawndale") property assigned to me at the Priceline ("PL") website I knew I had made a mistake in booking through Priceline. Given the parameters I had set for my 4 night stay, Days Inn Lawndale was the only hotel Priceline offered me at $85.00 a night. And according to PL terms and conditions of use, I was locked in. Post hotel assignment, I read mixed reviews of Days Inn Lawndale at the PL website and now conclude they are written by either Priceline or the Days Inn Lawndale owners.

There is no way this establishment should qualify as hotel. The room I was assigned is dark, dank and smells of mildew. The elevator is a dark, coffin-like box that smells of urine. My 86 year old mother and I checked in and checked out the same night. I want to go on record as stating that the attendant who requested and recorded my credit card and drivers license information at check in did not return that information to me when she checked us out. I have no way of knowing how or if Days Inn Lawndale may use my information.

In my opinion Days Inn Lawndale tarnishes the integrity of the entire "Hotel" industry. This motel-like establishment reminds me of the TV show scenes in "Miami Vice" or "Cops" or "Law & Order" where police officers were filmed chasing down and apprehending killers, drug dealers, pimps and hookers. At best Days Inn Lawndale should be listed as a road-side motel. I would not recommend the Los Angeles-Days Inn Airport South Bay/Lawndale to anyone but especially to a family or single women. I believe I should be refunded the $340 PL charged me by the Days Inn Lawndale. Finally, Priceline should be ashamed to offer Los Angeles-Days Inn Airport South Bay/Lawndale to Priceline subscribers, and should remove this property from its website roster.

Fourth: Lousy breakfast... midget muffins that were not even fresh! Bread that was hard... not fresh either! So I stuck with a banana and a yogurt... since the cold cereal was not very inviting! After staying here... we will never return. It sure brings a BAD NAME to the Day's Inn where we had stayed before in other places. If you care about your Days Inn name... please look into this place... because it sure brings down the Day's Inn name! WE WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE!!! I thank you! We recently stayed at your Ogden Utah location. My laptop computer was stolen from the room. It was not left out in plain sight. When I contacted the front desk to report this I was told that nobody on the staff would take it. I said I would call Ogden City Police. I was told to do whatever I felt I had to do. I filed a report and the police officer returned to the room about 4 hours later with the computer. While we had been gone from the room the maintenance man had entered the room and taken it.

According to police this person was on parole for burglary. When we talked to the owner/manager he told us he knew that the man was on parole but thought it was for drugs. He said background checks were too expensive to run on employees. I had to have the computer reset to factory settings and lost many important files. Needless to say we WILL NEVER stay there again nor at any Days Inn property. Sad this had to happen. Sadder still is lack of cooperation of the hotel staff to rectify the problem from the beginning.

I called for room prices - was given a total price of $291.54 as my total charge for my rooms. Repeated the price back to the girl and was told "Yes that is correct. $64.00 per room per night." I then said "OMG that's a lot cheaper than what another hotel wanted to charge me." I then told her the other hotel was wanting to charge me $583.00. She even said "Oh my God that's high!!!" Well stayed at the hotel. DAYS INN on Gwenedale Ave in Baton Rouge. Well the hotel is under construction and a mess. The room next to mine was being remodeled. Very loud! All our faucets leaked! AC was not keeping room cold. No I did not report any of this because the room service guy rudely walked into our room because we asked for extra towels. And was angry for having to do this. We requested another pillow and never received one!

Well when we left I returned to the front desk and asked if there was anything else I needed to do and was told no. Well when I checked my bank account they charged me twice. So I called and spoke to the rudest person ever. She was the one that gave me my original price. I then explained to her what had happened. She then informed me "Well maybe you misunderstood." I said, "How could I have, I repeated back to you the price you gave me." She then in turn put me on hold. I think this is when she realized she made the mistake and gave me that price.

Well she came back on the phone and tells me "Look you ** I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR YOU!" I said "Excuse me!!" She continued to curse at me and hung up on me. Well yes by this time I'm very angry! I called back and told her she was being the **. And I told her I was contacting a lawyer. She again cursed at me and hung up! I had another person call and question her about the charges. Her answer to them was "Oh that's correct. We raise our rates when we have something going on."

Well I called this morning and spoke to the manager, her answer to me was "Well why didn't you read the paper before you signed it?" I said "Because you told me it was for security for the rooms." And as quick as I signed it she pulled it from me. I then asked about why I never got a receipt? She said "Why didn't you ask for one!" I said "Why should I have to ask?" I am in the process of taking legal actions against these people!!!

Absolutely dirtiest hotel room I have ever seen. Have taken pictures I would like to submit of accumulations of dirt and dust on walls, molding, and counters as well as layers of dust around edges of floors throughout room. In addition lamp shades are crushed and broken, turntable plate is missing from microwave, and comforters are riddled with holes from cigarette burns. Is this the Days Inn standard? DON'T THINK SO!

Ruined my 50th high school reunion staying in this filthy room tonight. Have stayed at many of your sites over the years and always was pleased, but this has ended my Days Inn stays. Thank heavens there's a McDonald's next door because I would not trust that even the coffee pots at breakfast have been cleaned within the last 6 months. This hotel is a health hazard and needs to be closed for cleaning and renovation. A Super 8 is a Hilton compared to this site. And to think I paid $68 to stay in this room. You encourage saving energy by not having new linens and towels everyday. But, you waste it by air conditioning the window rather than the room. I had to keep the air conditioner coldest and high cool 24/7 to keep the room comfortable. Check out the picture. Surely, there has to be a track that you can put the top AND bottom of the curtain that will be able to draw back...or... how many people do open the curtain? I will admit that the air conditioner was ALSO archaic, but a new one wouldn't have solved the whole problem even if it was more efficient. In April of 2015 I checked into the Days Inn on West Market street Bloomington Illinois for a weeks stay possibly longer for work. On the 5th night I was awakened at 3 am by a paper rattling sound like mice. I turned on the light but didn't see it. I went back to sleep. After I got up to get dressed for work I saw the mouse in my room. I told the clerk who asked if I was scared and said they have traps but never opened them. I watched the mouse go out under the door of my room. Nothing was done.

The next morning I was awakened again by mice running all around my room. They got into my lunch bag and my food and consumed it. They were running around on the desk, the chair, the dresser, around the tv and on my clothes I had laid out. I watched them for an hour and took a video. I showed the video to the clerk and told him they have a problem there. Then I checked out. How disgusting to have mice in your room of a national chain hotel and was paying $437.00 week for single room.

UPDATED ON 05/01/2015: Checked in for a 3-week stay while working in the area. Motel was not in best of condition but ok just to sleep. The Indian couple at the desk are very difficult to understand, barely speaking English. The first day they cleaned the room, made the beds. From then on we never knew if we would get trash pulled or clean towels and washcloths. They expected us to empty our trash and put it in the hallway along with dirty towels and they would pick it up and leave clean towels so they wouldn't wake anyone who was sleeping. Some days the trash wasn't picked up from hallway some days we didn't get clean towels and wash cloths and they never made the inside of the room or changed the sheets.

One day I came in from work with no towels or washcloth to shower with. I called front desk who told me no housekeeping. I said “you are telling me I can't have clean towels and washcloth!” She said “yes you can have more, can you come and get them.” I replied “no I can't come and get them.” I was paying them $425.00 a week and they wanted me to do their job for them!

Then he told me that it would be $30 at 12 noon if i wanted to stay a night there. Then I'm sitting outside of my non smoking hotel room smoking a cigarette abiding by the rules and a maintenance man comes up to me and tells me I'm not allowed to smoke outside of my non smoking hotel room. This is by far the worst hospitality I have ever received staying in over 90 hotel rooms in a year with my business I have never been treated like this before the room was filthy the dust on the TV it's so thick I could write my name in it.

After speaking to management about the situation the front desk told me to tell that to the next customer. I've never wrote a review before but that made me change my mind. As I'm sitting on my bed in the hotel room writing this review I decided to get up and open the door and I see a police officer's vehicle driving through the hotel parking lot. I would recommend sleeping in your vehicle before sleeping at this hotel. This all could have been avoided at the very beginning when I told the clerk I have lost my wallet on the plane so all I had was my pocket change and I was on a tight budget so when he told me I had to pay $30 more and I told him I would go somewhere else. He should have let me go somewhere else instead he waved his hand in the air and acted like he was going to help me instead he had made his hotel a big disappointment to me and to everyone else I tell the story to.

My experience is with Days Inn - 4935 W Monkhouse Dr, Shreveport, LA, is so much more than disappointing. Everything looked dirty and unkempt! Even the white sheets were terribly wrinkled, a greyish brown color and didn't seem fresh at all. We awakened on the morning of March 13, 2015 (after the second night on a road trip of 8 nights, most at a different place in a different city) with some sort of insect bites on our necks. When we reported to her that the orange juice machine was producing light orange-colored water, she said it was because the machine was empty. We did not feel there was any need to report these conditions to the front desk because if Days Inn's standards had been satisfactory, a room like the one we used would never have been rented to ANYONE!!! Now Davis, CA is a college town so hearing partying at motels did bothers us. I noticed that 2nd bed by window was broke I mean I sink in so I talk to the front desk clerk and let her know bed's broke. It took 3 days till they came in and change box spring. I did complain but since the day I said bed was broke started with clerk mentioning to us in the morning when we were eating breakfast that there was complaints of noises she said from our room. I told her what noises? Basically you can tell they did not want us there cause of our kids. Our lil one has condition that he is hyper and can't control it. But always we in bed before 10 pm.

We noticed that in the third building we stayed doors were always unlocked. We caught someone trying to open car door and I went to check outside. I notice female that attempted to get in our car was under the stairways in building due to door staying unlocked. The other two building you can't access w/o card to room. Maid never came to check what we needed, I had to ask. I told front desk I need clean all beds and towels and all he said is, "Well when you see her you can't ask." I noticed that it's quiet and you can hear anyone in their rooms. Maids I caught in room next to us eardropping on us.

I mean this is bad and I paid for what? For them to give us a bad experience and to find out we had to leave cause there was complaints of domestic violence. I told lady in front desk, "Are you kidding me?" I told her, "Lady if there was an issue why weren't cops called?" She said, "I don't know." I told her, "Look, County Yolo is paying for this room and they check on us. Check room our living condition." So they gave us two hours to pack up and leave or cops be called. I was pissed. I work out of town, my wife every weekdays Monday-Friday drove me to work and kids to school. We go to room 4 pm. So from 7:30 am-4 pm be gone and have to be stressed more cause motel was worse experience. I'm at Motel 6 down the street and wow they are great. No breakfast, smaller room but so much privacy.

No one from either Days Inn or Motel 6 made any attempt to contact me to reconfirm my reservation. As far as I was concerned I made my reservation and everything would be fine. We asked for a manager and of course one was not available. All of a sudden a room became available. There were 3 of us plus a dog. We were not going to share a room as 2 rooms were reserved.

We found a Days Inn further away from where we needed to be and we told the front desk person "Ricky" that we were leaving. He smirked and said he'd need to check to room to make sure they can reuse it. He came back and said ok and when I asked about my refund he said since we were in the room longer than 10 minutes he would have to have the refund ok'd by the manager. I said “You mean the manager who isn't there?” He laughed and told me to "call back" in 10 minutes to see if the refund was approved.

We are now 2 hours into this mess and had enough. As I was leaving I said "this place is a ** joke" and he yelled back at me “NO YOU'RE A ** JOKE”, laughing the whole time. We checked into the other Days Inn and I was charged more than what my reservation said it would be. I emailed corporate and that was another joke. Days Inn only cares about the money. Once they have your money they're done. If something goes wrong, there's a problem, they don't care at all and will NOT go out of their way to help you. They just want to "blame" the other guy. So because of incompetence on the part of Days Inn AND Motel 6, I am out money with no recourse. Lesson learned. NEVER STAY AT DAYS INN OR MOTEL 6.

I urge you to stay away from Days Inn. I tried repeatedly to find out why they would claim I was smoking in the room, but received only curt replies. The particular place this happened to me was in Grandville MI, so please stay away from this motel especially.

Booked a room at Days Inn, International Drive, Orlando, FL for Dec. 12 & 13, 2014 through Travelocity for my participation in the AKC Eukanuba Championship Dog Show. This is probably the largest dog event in the country and this Days Inn was directly across the street. I checked in, went to my room, and carried 3 loads of dog show stuff into the room. Walked the dogs and got into my jammies. I received a call from the desk stating they do not allow dogs. There was no sign in the lobby stating this policy nor was there anything on the Travelocity link for this hotel. I was told to leave the hotel - no offer to find me another room nor to help me pack and reload my car. The middle-eastern man that I spoke with at the desk was extremely rude to me and tried to refuse to authorize Travelocity to refund my money. I will never, ever darken the doors of a Days Inn or any of its affiliates and I will make sure that my dog show friends across the country know of this experience.

Days Inn in MIddletown NY - Booked a room in the hotel where I have been staying during hunting season for the last 10 years. Was never given a confirmation number while on the phone. When I arrived at the hotel with my brothers, I was told there was no reservation and that I needed the confirmation number I was never given. They refused our stay or to find us a room, saying the hotel was booked, but the parking lot was half empty. When I continued on about trying to make this right since this was their error, they told me that this was a private hotel and they have the right to refuse anyone they want. They were very rude at the desk, and were raising the price of the room as I continued on asking for a room.

It smelled of cigarettes, the curtains did not close all the way and we were on the 1st floor. It was noisy. After the first night we went to the front desk and told the desk clerk we were checking out. We told her why. She told us that was the worst room they had that they let dogs stay in that room. We told her we wanted our money back. It was 203 dollars. She said they didn't charge our credit card yet so they would only charge us for that night. The problem is when paying online through Hotels.com my card was charge for the whole amount ahead of time. I told her that. She said, "Oh now we don't do that." Well not sure they know what they are doing but I was charged. I have the receipt showing that. So far all your company offered me was 25% off my next visit. Well I want my money back. Stayed at the Days Inn near Busch gardens in Tampa. We arrived 1 hour past check in time with a reservation, the manager told us our room was still dirty and she would call my cell phone when it was ready. Over 2 hours later we went back to another employee who got us right into a room. The only good thing I can say is that the room was clean so the housekeeping staff was doing a good job. The furniture in the room including TV was old and in very bad condition. Lamps not working, phone and TV remote both broken and non functional. The crowd hanging around in the daytime was questionable but the crowd when we got in late was downright frightening, I would have left during the night but was afraid to load the car. Prostitutes and drug dealers were operating in plain view in the parking lot. We went for Howl-o-scream but the hotel was the most frightening part of the trip.

This hotel was 2.5 stars, I usually won't take anything less. This hotel was nasty, floor was dirty with hair, bedding had hair and disgusting, old 1995 TV with 100 of fingerprints, coffeemaker was rusty and the carpet was gross.. so bad we had to take the blanket off the bed to walk on the floor. I informed the front desk, they said I was stuck because I went through hotwire. The next night I went through hot wire, stayed in Meriden CT at the comfort Inn and it was 2.5 and it was great.. lived the room, the people. It should of been a 3.5 star rating. Days Inn refused to give my money back and even held $20.00 for 7 days.. they should be inspected by the health department. It was like staying at a Crack house. My wife is an amputee, right leg, and in a wheel chair, so I requested one of the rooms to be handicap. Expedia told me that they could not guarantee me handicap rooms and to call the hotel direct and explain what I needed, which I did. I talked to someone at the hotel and told them what I needed and was told that they would have one of the rooms be a handicap room. Upon arrival at the hotel I was told that the handicap rooms were all taken but there was no problem as they had an elevator to get to the second floor where our rooms were.

The room was not made for wheel chair and was tight to get around. The bathroom had a shower in the tub, no grab bars, and no way for my wife to get into. The toilet was a standard low toilet and no grab bars which made it very hard for my wife to get onto and off from. She wound up with big bruises on both arms from struggling to get on and off and to get dressed. I understand that by booking through Expedia they do not guarantee handicap rooms but I feel when I talked directly with hotel and explained my problem and was told no problem that I would have a handicap room I should have had one. If I had known there would not be one available I would have canceled the reservation and tried something else.

My Fiance and I booked at the Days Inn Miami North the night before we were going on a cruise. Had we not been so delayed with our flight into Miami, we would have never even stayed the night!! However, after a VERY long day sitting at the BWI airport, we just wanted to get into a bed and go to sleep so we could go on vacation. Well, this location is nothing short of an hourly roach motel and I would NEVER EVER stay there again personally nor would I recommend it to anyone else!

The room was DISGUSTING! We had a ROACH run across our nightstand as we were turning off the light for the night. Our toilet would NOT flush, finally the maintenance guy comes with a plunger, plunges out the toilet, leaves NASTY toilet water all over the toilet seat, floors, etc... We had to go up to the front desk to ask for extra towels so we could clean up the bathroom ourselves!!! Only to continue to NOT have a working toilet... we had to use our garbage can, fill it with water and pour it down the toilet to get it to flush!!!??

We were then given 2 free breakfast coupons for our issues?? REALLY? You honestly think we would EAT in that hole? I think not! We got out of there as fast as we could!! We didn't even wait for the FREE shuttle to the Port of Miami.. We opted to pay another $30 and got the heck out of that hole as fast a possible! I called the 800# that very next morning while we were awaiting to board our ship, I was told someone would get back to me. A Mr. ** who is classified as the "Director" or Customer Service answered my complaint and stated they were willing to offer me a 50% discount? This was not good enough, we want 100% back! He was then VERY RUDE, took back the 50% discount offer and we have not heard a word back from them since...

This place is SHADY!! DO NOT STAY HERE! ! We have since contacted the Corp. Office but doubt we will ever see our $$ back again.. Lesson learned. I guess. I am allergic to mold and this place was so gross, I actually got sick from sleeping there!

Then after four days, we paid for an additional day but suddenly we were told to either pay the manager another 200 dollars or we would have to leave because he did not like dogs, did not want them there, and said people were suing him for 'allergic reactions'!

We never received our 100 dollars back AND they have put a lien on our bank account for 200 dollars although we paid the initial bill and left after the original four days. Aside from that, there are drugs, cigarette smoking (signs say 'smoke free'), Spanish only speaking cleaning personnel who spend much of their time sitting in the gazebo (blue shirts in photo) Internet practically non-existent and 'back in 10 minutes' signs for hours in the office. Even the local police indicated to me that it had a criminal element.

We were asked to sign an agreement stating that we would not smoke nor bring pets. I told the clerk she did not have to worry about us because that was the reason her hotel was selected. Upon entering our room, we were met at the door with cigarette smoke. There were also ashes on the lamp. We went to the front desk and expressed our concern. We were given a second room that also had cigarette smoke, the lock was broken and the lights didn't work. The clerk went to check the third room. She sprayed air freshener, but forgot to spray the bathroom, which smelled like smoke. The paint was peeling off and the comforter had cigarette burns. I went back to the clerk and asked for a refund. She told me that she could not give me one because I paid in cash and because I stayed too long while checking-in. I explained that we had been moved 3 times.

I asked for the manager and was told that he would not be available although she had been calling him the entire time. I was told that I could go to my room and he would call me there. I asked that he contact us at the front desk. She told us he would not be in until Monday. I asked who was in charge and her response was no one. I asked for the corporate number. She told me that they were probably closed and I wouldn't be able to contact anyone. I did reach someone who said that they would share my concerns with the manager, but I could not be guaranteed a refund. I ended up having to stay at a friend's house and currently the situation has been unresolved.

We got up the next morning to an onslaught of bugs - not just little ones either! When my husband went to complain to the manager and request our money back for the second night, the manager was EXTREMELY rude and in your face. He informed us that everybody has bugs and there was nothing he could or would do about it. He also informed us that without a doubt, we would not be getting our money back for the second night. When we told him that we would contact the corporate office, he told us that he didn't care.

We were picking bugs off of each other at breakfast that first morning! We went on to discover that there was debris in the sink, a pill from a previous tenant on the floor, and a spider web in the shower. We went and bought our own bug spray and stuffed towels under the door the second night. It made things tremendously better. We basically lived out of our car, not wanting to contaminate everything we had with bugs. The best part of the stay was the little old lady who checked us out the second morning. She was very pleasant and polite. The whole reason we were there was because of a family funeral. This did not add pleasant memories to the experience. We saved the bugs to send to the corporate office. I would rather sleep in the car than endure anything like this again!

Worst customer service at Days Inn, Abrego Street in Monterey, CA. From the moment we arrived, the manager asked me for my last name while talking in Indian on the phone with some else. He pulled my reservation sheet and asked me to sign and after signing it, he literally threw the room key on the counter, while still on the phone with his Indian friend. Very rude. After driving over 10 hours, I just left to find my room. The room was across the street in another building. Even though I requested a ground floor room when I made the reservations back in January 2014, we got a 2nd floor room. I had also requested extra towels but there were only 2-3 towels in the room.

Just as we finished bringing our luggage in the room, the manager came to tell us that the room below us, #306, was complaining that we were making too much noise. We told him we were just getting installed and invited him to come inside to see that nothing strange was going on. He then said we were too many people but we explained to him that half the people there were my sister and her family, who were also staying in the room next to us. We were just greeting each other.

Later, I went down to the office to request the extra towels we did not get. Again, he was on the phone talking Indian to somebody. This time he hanged up and was very rude to me telling me that I had too many people in the room and gave me 2 towels. He said my reservation was for 2 adults and I clarified that yes, it was made for 2 adults and 2 children. That at the very last minute, our niece came along and that I would gladly pay the extra charge for her. I wanted to take care of it right then on but he said we could take care of it in the morning. He clearly did not want to deal with me so he could go back to the phone.

Next thing, he calls us on the phone, literally yelling that room 306 was complaining again that we are making too much noise, that he could not take that anymore! Told him we were taking showers and getting ready to go to bed, that any noise from this was not intentional. He kept yelling at me and ordered me to go to room 306 to apologize to them and to assure them that there would be no more noise!!! I could not believe it! I told him no, that I would not do that and that he should be the one talking to them. He kept ordering me and his yelling went even higher. He said that if I did not go to 306, he would call the police. I told him we had not done anything against the law and that if he felt he needed to call the police to call them.

I did not know that walking and taking showers in your room was illegal. He kept yelling at me really upset when I finally yelled back at him and told him to go ahead and call the police and hanged up. He came with the police and asked us to leave. We were all wearing PJs. He said he spoke with his manager and Days Inn would refund our entire reservation if we leave. The officer said he was not there on behalf of either side, just to inform us that Days Inn has a right to refuse service to anyone and that Days Inn would refund 100% of our stay. I asked what if he didn't, as he has been unreasonably rude & unfair to us. Officer said they will refund us and not to worry about it. 11 days later, no refund has been made.

DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL!! The customer service was the rudest, most unwelcoming ever and the rooms are old and dated. Towels are as thin as paper, so are the walls and floors. In retrospect, we were glad we left. Things happen for a reason. Found great quality customer service at Casa Munras next door and no one complained for us walking and taking showers in our room.

The a/c did not work properly, no hot water (barely above room temperature then), no working phone in room and the room smelled. I noticed the smell walking down the hallway to the room. I figured the room would smell a lot better.

Within an hour I decided to check out to get my money back. Their repairman went up and came back to tell the clerk that room was ok and no damages. They refused to give back my money. I insisted on getting back my money. She called someone named **. He would not give me his last name, but he screamed in the phone at me.. "You are not getting back your money and leave". I asked him to repeat himself slowly so I could make sure I understood what he had just told me. He repeated a second time but louder. His accent was hard to make out the first time. I asked again for his last name. He again refused. He said it was none of my business what his last name was.

I went outside to the parking lot to call the Collier County Sheriff Department for help via 911. Their clerk has enlisted customer at the front desk to threaten me with obscenities. Deputy ** arrived in about fifteen minutes. He said to me basically to sue them and there was nothing he could do after speaking to the front desk clerk. The deputy returned back to me in the parking lot. He aggressively and in a commanding firm and in a disrespectful voice with his hand firmly on his pistol and rubbing it repeatedly said to me, "Sir did you not hear me, I will repeat myself three more times. Don't you speak English, where were you born, are you a citizen?" I guess he thought because I was Black and in Collier County that I must be an illegal alien? There was no reason from to question my citizenship. His supervisor is Sgt. **.

I told the deputy that he has put me in fear of my life by rubbing his pistol so many times. With deputy rubbing his pistol I immediately raised my hand and told him that I am disabled veteran and disarmed with a walking cane. He said to me. "I can rest and rub my hand pistol and rub it as many times as I like." I told him touching his pistol was totally unnecessary.

He got my license, went to the front desk clerk, then to his car. A few minutes later he issued me a NO Trespass citation. He ripped my copy out of his ticket book with the top part torn off. I asked him to taped back on the top part. He said to me, "You must be kidding, all you really need to read is the citation number".. and he pointed it out to me. He did not let me see the names of my accusers or the people signing the citation. Then a second officer arrived, the first deputy asked for my social security number and where I was born. I refused to give out that information. The deputy refused to push me for that info. They both ordered me off the property. I need help getting back my money. I am on social security, work part time and have a small Veterans disability pension. I left the property without my $153.

I made a reservation about week before for the date of 6/14/2014 on a Saturday. My confirmation number was ** , and I called on 6/10/1014 to confirm the reservation. I talked to a very nice lady, I asked about the the couch in the room, if it pulled out into a bed. She put me on hold and checked. She told me yes, then I mentioned the room occupied three people and asked if I could have four guest in the room and she said yes for an extra charge around $10.00 (Right now I was paying 133.??/total bill $143.12). I asked her to add the fourth guest and I let her know it was going to be a late check in. She said she add the notes and ask if there was any room request. I said, "No you have helped me, thank you!" I was so excited everything was in place! For my boyfriend birthday I planned a weekend at Schlitterbahn and a hotel room at days in a 1 King Bed Room Smoking allowed;1 King Bed Smoking Room with hot tub, free continental breakfast, free Wi-Fi and refrigerator. Maximum occupancy: 3 people added one more guest!

Having a blast at Schlitterbahn, we left the park around 7p.m. and headed to Days Inn. When we got there I gave the clerk my name and i.d. He gave me two room keys for room 116, bottom flour around the corner from the office. I went to the room and see a regular size room with a bed and a chair. NOT WHAT I RESERVED!!! so I let my family know it's not the room and not to start unloading. I went back to the office and told the clerk this is not the room. I described the room that I reserved and he got very rude and argued with me. That they don't have rooms with fold out couches, I told him I called four days ago and talk to a lady. He aggressively ask what was her name, I did not remember it but I know I called. Then condescending asking me what number did I call. I told him that doesn't matter. I made a reservation for a king size room with a hot tub over a week ago and was charge $143.12 on 6/11/2014. I showed him the charge from my phone.

Then he continued to argue with me telling the rates for that day...what does that matter. I reserved the room a over a week before, paid in advance and the rates online is what I paid and correct. Then he said I can't give you your money back but I can give a cot for no charge, normally they are $25.00. At this point we are very angry, he continues to argue with us about the room and said he was trying to help us with the cot and we are not working with him. WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO SETTLE FOR A ROOM I DID NOT RESERVE, I WANT THE ROOM I PAID FOR. He said he wanted to look at the room and ask us for the fourth time if we wanted the cot. My boyfriend said, "No this is ridiculous" and asked him for his name. He did not have a name tag on and he denied us with the information. He went to the room asked my family if there was anything in the room, they said no and he closed the door with attitude, still being very rude! He came back very condescending saying "Since you won't let me help you, I will give you your money back and you can go some where else. GOOD LUCK FINDING A PLACE!" I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED AND TALKED TOO HORRIBLE FROM ANY HOTEL CLERK!

I found my print out of my reservation and I told him I will not settle for less than what I reserved he looked the paper and said that he did not have our room anymore. I told him I did not cancel my reservation and want my money back. He finally changed his attitude and proceeded to give me a refund. I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN THE WAY YOUR CLERK HANDLED THE SITUATION AND I FEEL LUCKY THAT I EVEN GOT MY MONEY BACK. NOBODY SHOULD EVER HAVE TO FEEL THAT WAY. I would appreciate if someone would contact me concerning this situation. At this moment I will never recommend Days Inn as a Hotel to trust. I would rather pay extra for a replicable Hotel.

I booked this hotel through Agoda.com and was an early booker to get better price. I also received a booking confirmation number that stated my booking was non-refundable. I received e-mail from Booking.com on the same day (March 04) saying my credit card payment could not be processed. As I booked through Agoda.com and did not receive any e-mail from them, and why was Booking.com the one that e-mailed me, resulting me to consider Booking.com e-mail as a spam e-mail. Till recently (2 days before my trip (March 19), I received an e-mail from Agoda.com that my booking was cancelled due to no response to their email (whose e-mail?) regarding credit card payment couldn't be processed, and I needed to contact the hotel if I had any questions. I was curious of why booking was not honored and at very near time to my trip as well to get it re-booked.

I called at 8.15 pm on March 19 and was received by a gentle lady front desk agent and was directed to another very rude male Front Desk that needs to learn and be trained on how to provide better quality customer service. I was asking why my booking was not honored and he asked what my name was and I said my name and as my first and last name **, he asked if it was true. I said "yes" and he changed the reason of my cancellation was not because of the credit card payment can't be processed but because I did not provide my address.

I have been booking so many hotels from either Agoda.com, Tripadvisor, Expedia, and many more better deal website, and I always followed the booking procedure and that was how I managed to get my booking confirmation numbers. So this problem of not providing the address and using it as an excuse to not honor the booking and not only that, he told me it was not his problem as I did not book from the hotel and I needed to contact booking.com. Once again I clarified, I made the booking from Agoda.com. Then he said, they were the same company. How would I know, they were from the same company? And also I wanted to retrieve back my booking and he said, it would be impossible with the same rate I booked before and I needed to make a new booking.

He used the " kick the ball" strategy to avoid providing me with better solution as I protested that it wasn't my fault but he wouldn't listen and kept blaming on me for not giving respond within the time-frame. If I may ask, why not the hotel contacted me directly for confirmation instead of Booking.com? Why can't he as the customer service try to resolve my matter knowing that it was not my fault not to provide address when booking as it wasn't asked when I made the booking? What is the different to wait till I arrive to check in and request to provide my ID and address or contact me directly to my phone? How does Days Inn management train their staff? Is this what you called a customer service using "kick the ball" strategy?

Due to this bad experience, I reminded everyone not to book at this hotel and beware of the customer service you will receive. I, myself, will not book this hotel anymore. I made a protest to Agoda.com and they are willing to rebook for me for this hotel but I refused and had already booked another better quality service hotel. They offered solution. As a hotel associate, try to learn from other hospitality company. Good luck with anyone who choose this bad service hotel. This male Front desk needed to be sent back to the hospitality school to increase his performance or this hotel will lose more and more guests and had a bad reputation. I felt sorry for his co-workers that work with him as well.

We got to Rayne, LA after driving from Nashville Tennessee area about 8:00 pm and were given room 116. When we found the key didn't work so we walked back to the front desk. The woman walked back to the room and let us in then we found that the heat/air had no knobs so we walked back to the front desk.

The woman told us to try room 220 and the room was filthy i.e fruit loops on the floor, the mattress was falling apart, the cover was torn so you could see the foam and it had stains from god knows what, the carpet was really dirty and looked like they only vacuumed seasonally and not close to the walls, also one of the electrical wall outlets was missing the cover. The lights above the bed had 1 light bulb missing. But we were so tired we just wanted to sleep then in the morning we went back to the front desk to complain about the filthy room and one of the housekeeper woman cleaned at room 116 and I had to turn the heat on with pliers and the room was filthy we asked to speak to the manager and was told that he would be at the motel by 9 am.

We called the Days Inn corporate phone number to put a complaint on file. We waited till about 11:30 am then left the motel to visit the grand children and celebrate at a new years party and got back to the motel at 12:30 am and our key would not unlock the door so we went to the front desk and a man came to let us in the room. January 1st at about 8:00 am the manager called our room and we told him that we had called the corporate office to complain and he told us that we would have to leave the motel which we had already decided to go to another motel about 4 miles down the road. The manager refunded part of the money. They had charged on our credit card and we left vowing to never stay at a Days Inn motel again because it was the worst experience we have ever had at any motel.

Made a reservation for my mother 12/22/13 for the local Days Inn in Brewerton, NY. Got the reservation confirmation email. Later that night she goes to check in. I had met her there to make sure it went smoothly. Clerk says "we do not have a reservation under that name" I explain I have an email confirmation. She says "oh, you used to 800#, that explains it. They just cancel reservations sometimes by mistake". The place is a ghost town anyhow so she check in my mother and honors the price. Now, when I made this reservation, the people at 1-800-225-3297 asked me for my card. I explained I can't use this card for billing. My mother will pay with her card when she checks in. I was told that was no problem and the card was just to hold the room. So, next day I am checking my banking and noticed a hold of $230.52.

I call the 800#. I get a rep whose English was so terrible I could not understand them. He transfers me to customer service. They have no idea what's going on. Very snotty on the phone. She says she will direct me to corporate. I get connected to the Days Inn in Brewerton, where the girl gets very defensive, claims she is the one that checked my mother on last night. Says I had made 4 reservations and she was nice enough to cancel 2 of them with no penalty. I asked "what about the third? I only made one call and made one reservation." She says..and this is the kicker... "Wait, you only have one room? I checked you in for two rooms."

I said, "if you were really there, you would remember that there was one woman checking in, you handed her one key and checked her in for one room." Now, I do recall a scent of marijuana and her eyes being red, so maybe that had something to do with it. I'm not judging, but it may explain some of this. So she continues to talk in circles, changing her story, etc. End result is I cannot get my bills paid because of this credit card hold. I will be stopping in tomorrow morning 7 am to talk to the manager, Jessica. Of course, I can never stay at a Days Inn again, but they had better release the funds on my credit card. I sent an email to corporate because getting circle jerked by foreigners on the phone for an hour obviously didn't help. I'll follow up with any resolution.

Made reservations this year for my fiance's birthday, have stayed here before. The weekend before her birthday, we had a tragic death in the family with the loss of a younger brother. I called on Monday, 9/23/2013, to cancel the reservation for 9/27/2013-9/29/2013 and reached customer service. They put me on hold and said they needed to call the hotel. I waited for 5-6 minutes. The lady came back on and offered me condolences, stated she spoke with the hotel and that the reservation was canceled. I would be sent an email.

I didn't think anything of it as I needed to help with funeral arrangements for Thursday, 9/26, and forgot to check for the cancellation. Last week, I looked at my bill and was charged for both nights and filled the "contact us" form online. An agent named Bertha ** contacted me by phone stated she would refund the money once I sent her the statement verifying the charge was on there. She emailed me stating that.

"As we discussed, please send me a copy of your credit card statement showing the charges and I would be happy to reimburse you. Please ensure to remove all personal credit card numbers from your statement. You may e-mail the documents to Customer.Care3@wyn.com, fax them to 888-565-7707, or mail them to the address below. Please be sure to include your reference number ** on all pages of the copy of your statement or hotel receipt. Days Inn Customer Care PO Box 4090 Aberdeen, SD 57401."

I emailed the docs on Oct 7, 2013 and called today, 10/11/2013, spoke with Stephanie about this issue and how I heard nothing on it. She looked at the account and stated that the case was closed due to the fact that it was "online reservation and could've been canceled by any agent". I explained to her again what happened and now she's "looking into it". Just a shady way to do business. I have stayed at this hotel before and I have had issues but this takes the cake. How do you tell someone that you will refund money and then close a case, not notify them and have a customer service agent just be rude? I will never again stay at a Days Inn or affiliate. They are a cancerous group that apparently needs all the money they can get.

I now have to explain to my corporate office why I turned in a form for funeral pay and why there is a charge for a hotel stay in Chicago on my corporate card. That's awesome because that's all I need right now.

So I got another room and that room, the sliding glass door was broken off, the stopper was broken in the sink, the toilet was clogged, and all the people from the motel next door (Comfort Inn which was owned by the same person) were in the pool which they were told to come and use it which brought over about 30 kids and 18 adults. Beware! This hotel has bugs! This is a very low budget hotel. You have to pay when you check in instead of when you check out. The elevator was out of order. I booked two rooms for two nights. Both rooms were dirty and poorly taken care of (outlets and fire alarm falling out of wall, dusty everywhere, dirty lamp shades, holes in blanket, mattress foundation falling apart to name a few). The decor was very old and outdated. The bed was hard. The sheets were stained and very old. They only use flat sheets to cover the bed. The room smelled nasty.

I asked for new sheets and they were dirty and old as the ones on my bed. The other room was the same as the first; only this room had bugs! We were there less than 2 hours and wanted to leave. They would not refund our money (their reason was because we spent more than 30 minutes in the room before we voiced our complaints) and we spent two hours debating this matter with 2 ill-mannered and disrespectful clerks. Since they told us to speak with their General Manager, we had them change our room.

The new room sheets and pillow cases were also dirty. The desk clerk took me into the storage room to get new sheets and pillow cases. We went through at least 10 sets before finding one without stains. The General Manager came in at 10 am and left before 12 pm for the day. We had somewhere to be by the time she came so we called to set up a meeting. We called multiple times within an hour and she did not answer even though the clerk said she was there. We rushed back from where we were to catch her before checkout time and she was already gone. We had the clerk call her. I spoke to her on the phone and explained what happened and about the bugs. She told me that her hotel has no bugs and because we stayed more than 5 minutes (this is not a mistype she said 5 minutes) in the room that we will not get a refund.

My mom had a cup full of the bugs she collected from her room and showed the clerk who verified it to the GM. We also went back to the room with the Head of Housekeeping and she, with her own eyes, had seen the bugs in the room. The GM was nasty and only gave us 10% off the room with the bugs! Beware! Don't stay here!

I made reservations for my family and me on Thursday, May 09, 2013, through the 1-800 number listed on the Days Inn website for the Days Inn located in Lanham, MD. I spoke with a gentleman named Hayden. He assured me that I would receive my corporate discount, there was a pool (due to me telling him my kids love to swim), the hotel had complimentary breakfast and that payment would not be required until checkout. I called ahead of time to see what time check-in was, and was advised then that I had to pay upfront. I advised the lady that I was told something different. Her response was, "Well, I'm telling you differently."

When I got there I was checked in by the manager. He also informed me that I had to pay up front. I advised him that was not what I was told I went down the list of things that Hayden told me and he informed me that none of those things were true about the hotel. We got on the phone with customer service who advised me no matter what I was told, it was up to the individual hotel and manager, so there was absolutely nothing they would do for me. I asked the manager for some type of compensation because the only thing that was true was that I was able to get my corporate discount. He said absolutely not that I had to go with their rules. My money was not available on that night because I was banking on what I was told during the reservation, so a friend of mine paid for the first night.

During the wait to check in, there were two fights in the lobby. The first was a young lady complaining about the same thing I was. She was told the same thing and argued a great deal with the staff. They didn't budge for her either. The other was between what appeared to be a young couple. The male became loud with the young lady, and even began abusing her physically. All guests who walked through the lobby asked the hotel staff if they were going to call the police and they informed us that they were not going to. I expressed to the manager my concern for my kids' safety. I was about to get my kids and girlfriend out of the car and didn't want them to experience what I saw.

He picked up the phone and told me he was going to pretend to call the police, to see if that would make them stop. Well, that didn't! A staff member tried to intervene and the gentleman threatened him as well. The couple finally stopped on their own. It was a horrific scene. I didn't know if the guy had a weapon on him or not, but the staff just stood there watching. They appeared to be more concerned about making money than making sure the young lady was okay. They never once checked on her. I didn't feel all that comfortable, but it was late and I needed to get my kids in bed.

I was told to pay for the second night when my family and I got back in for the night. It turned out that I couldn't stay because according to my bank, the hotel staff ran my card 3 times in the same day for 3 different amounts, therefore locking my card up. My family and I had to leave. They made us pay $25 to retrieve our stuff from our room. It was a horrible experience. I will never stay at another Days Inn again, and I have told everybody I can think of about what happened. I want to be compensated in some way. I'm taking this to corporate.

I checked in at 1:45pm. I recently had an apartment fire and had been staying with a friend. I wanted a day away with internet access (my friend had none). After being assured that there was internet access, I paid the $77.80 fee and went to my room. At 2:30pm, I attempted to connect to their internet. After being unable to do so, I called the tech support line. After 2 phone calls lasting approximately 20 minutes each and waiting the time between calls for the system to reset, I still had no internet access. When I went down to the front desk, I advised the desk clerk I wanted my money back and I was told they would reset the internet for the room and to wait a half hour (I gave them 45 minutes).

I went back down to the front desk and they themselves call tech support. After I stood there for another half hour, I was told they were working on the problem and to give them an hour. (I gave them an hour and a half.) When I (again) went down to the front desk and told them (again) I wanted my money back, I was told the GM said I had been there too long and she was not refunding my money. Total time spent in the hotel was five and a half hours; three and a half of which I was told to wait by the staff working there.

Holding personal property as collateral: I stayed at this hotel several times, and I had planned to stay the day. I had to leave my laptop and some other personal items of mine in my room. I left the room on the morning of September 10th, 2012 and became ill and had to go to the emergency room. I was in the hospital on and off for the entire week and was unable to go pick up my personal belongings from my room. As a result, when I was able to pick them up, I was told that I had to pay a rack rate of $47.51 in order to retrieve my things. At that time, I did not have the money and told them that as soon as I do, I will be back to pick up my things.

On October 2nd, 2012, I went to the hotel to pick up my things and I had the $47.51 that I was told to have in order to retrieve my belongings. But everything changed at that point. The management was giving me a hard time and went back on their word. They are demanding me to pay $250 in order to retrieve my belongings. I was lied to and deceived by the hotel employees and management. They are giving me until October 16th, 2012. If I do not have the money by then, I will lose my computer.

I am currently self-employed. However, I need my laptop to do my job, and I am currently looking for employment as well. I currently do not have $250 available to pay to get my computer. I am extremely upset because my laptop has valuable information on it and I have never left my computer out of my sight. I have had the computer since 2010. I am a tax accountant and a student. There is tons of personal confidential information on my computer. All of my programs have pass codes. Nevertheless, I do not let anyone touch my computer ever.

I and my boyfriend stayed the night at Days Inn to get some sleep. We paid $74.88 for a one-night stay. We went to bed at 9:00 p.m. because we had to leave early and had a long drive home. We were on vacation… The lady in the room above us was making a lot of noise, and we could not sleep; we complained to the front desk, and they went up and told her to be quiet. A half hour later, she started making noise again. In the morning after lack of sleep, my boyfriend complained about it again to the desk clerk; and all we received was an “I am sorry” and that was it. We feel we should be given some type of compensation because we were there to sleep and we couldn’t. I wouldn't recommend Days Inn to anyone else; the service is not first-rate there…

On July 10, 2012, my husband and I checked in at Days Inn, 1987 N. Broadway, Lexington, KY. There was blood on the bathroom wall and black slime on the shower curtain. It wasn't much so my husband said he would just clean it himself instead of calling the front desk. After he cleaned this, I said we should check the bed before we unpack. When we pulled the cover back, there was blood on the mattress pad. It was on the top and side. As I turned around, I saw that blood was also on the wall and ceiling. This was too much to let go. We could not stay in this room!

I called the front desk and told them the problem. She sent the manager. He looked at everything and took us to another room. He apologized and gave us a ten dollar discount. I don' think we should have paid anything, but we accepted the discount. The new room was much better, but still not very clean. At least, there was no blood. The fridge in the first room was also dirty. I also didn't like having someone watching over the Danish at breakfast as if we were going to eat too much. At other continental breakfasts, we served ourselves. Here, there was a lady serving the Danish as if there was a shortage. This is not the first time we have had a bad experience with Days Inn, but it will definitely be our last, because we will never stay at Days Inn again

My stay at the Days Inn was a complete nightmare! To start, it took 30 minutes to check in. We got absolutely no sleep as there were prostitutes below our window yelling and chanting all night as well as our neighbors in the rooms next to us. The next morning at 7 am, I went to the lobby for coffee and while I was standing in the rain drinking coffee and smoking my cigarette, I spoke with a front desk associate and told her I got absolutely no sleep and needed a different room as well as a smoking room as I was uncomfortable being outside in that neighborhood.

The associate did accommodate my needs and said she would switch my room to the back of hotel and give me a smoking room, and I told her I was unable to switch at that moment since I was leaving to take my daughter to a softball tournament but would be back at 2 pm. I arrived back at 2 pm and switched rooms but time was limited as I had to have my daughter back to the softball fields, so we just took our belongings in the room and dropped them and left again. We arrived back at hotel around 8:30 pm and as soon as we started unpacking and getting comfortable, we realized our room was filthy with stale pizza under the beds and stands, dirty wash cloth in between dirty sheets. The bath tub was a disgusting yellow mess and the inside of the microwave looked as if it had never been cleaned. And so, I proceeded to the front desk to request clean sheets and an ash tray as there was none.

The manager wanted to switch my room again but since we were completely exhausted from our long day at the softball fields, I told him I would just change the sheets. I went back to my room and did so as well as scrubbed the bath tub. The next morning at 7 am, our in-room phone rang. It was a young lady at the front desk saying my credit card was declining the room payment and so I went to the front desk and gave her my card to run. It declined again. She then asked if I had any other cards and I told her no, but I would go to the closest HSBC bank and get the amount they needed and asked her how much I owed for the rooms. That is when she said, "You do not owe for the rooms; you owe $200 for smoking in the non-smoking room." I told her I did not smoke in the no-smoking room, and she stated that I did and she went up and smelled it in the hallway. I again told her that I did not. She then said, "Well, are you going to pay the $200?"

I said I was calling customer service first. I proceeded to my room, packed up my belongings and gave the room keys to my daughter to check us out as I loaded up our vehicle. While my daughter was in there, that young lady pointed at her and said, "This family right here are **." My daughter was so embarrassed. She left in a hurry, that lady chased behind her with the receipt yelling and screaming with every obscenity gestures. We got in our vehicle and as we drove by, I grabbed the receipt from her while she was screaming and yelling. When I arrived home, I called my bank and realized she made several attempts to withdraw $200 from my account but was declined. So then she proceeded to phish my account and took $100. I must also add that she called my cell phone 5 times to harass me. When I finally did answer, she again was yelling saying she got $100 and I owe her another $100. I asked her to please not call my cell phone again.

I called Days Inn Customer Service and gave my complaint to a tee, but it was dismissed as a "he said she said" case being that young lady told them my children harassed her which is very untrue. I even called the hotel that night and spoke with a lady who was more professional and had some class and she stated that, that lady had no right charging us and that she didn't even work the day she said she smelled the smoke! But, the manager and customer service took her side and I lost out all around with false accusations. I read comments on their website and many people said their non-smoking rooms smell of smoke terribly, so if you are a smoker and get a non-smoking room and they see you smoking outside, be ready to be targeted and charged! I will never stay in a Days Inn hotel again!

I arrived back at the room later that night tired from my flight and the day, and I laid down in one of the double beds in the room. I woke up around 5:30am, to my surprise my bed was crawling with the bed bugs. I looked at the other bed and they were crawling on the comforter, on the pillows and the bed was infested with bed bugs. I notified the night person and they switched me to another room. I got to the next room and I pulled back the comforter to expose the sheets. I took a shower and came back out only to find a few more crawling around in that room as well.

I went back to the front desk and I was switched to the second floor on the opposite side and this time there was nothing in the bed, or so I thought. I have bites all over my arms, legs, back, feet and on the top of my head. Thank you, Days Inn, for ruining my stay and until I can stop itching from the numerous bites, my weeks are ruined as well. I surely hope that none of those critters found their way to my home to infect my house and family also. Never again will I, my family or anyone that I know, stay in this hotel chain ever again.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. We checked in very late on Thursday, 5/17/2012. On Friday morning, we were woken up by a bunch of rowdy construction workers. After complaining, the manager said he would take care of it. The next morning, the same thing happened. Only this time, I confronted the bunch as well as the manager. These guys were smoking, throwing trash all over, flicking cigarette butts on the parked cars below. Once again, the manager did nothing except that he wanted me to move all my things to another room and be further inconvenienced. When I mentioned calling the police, he told me that I could not do that because the construction company was a big client and if I did, he would make me check out. I let it go of that for the time being.

On top of that, our room was never cleaned the entire time we were there. The housekeeper, who didn't speak English, translated that we had a 'Do Not Disturb' tag on the door when, in fact, we did not. We left the hotel by 8 a.m. each day since we were there for a Civil War reenactment. When I was loading my car on Sunday morning, 5/20/12, the rowdy workers were jawing nonsense at me. I also spoke with the head housekeeper and asked her about why the room wasn't cleaned. She explained to me that the housekeeper thought my room was part of the construction crew and they didn't get their rooms cleaned. When I confronted the manager while checking out, he made me feel that I was at fault for everything. I explained to him that he needs to be in control of the hotel and be sure that the guests are happy which he did not do.

I also asked him why was I put into a room that was next to a bunch of rooms occupied by the construction workers; that was the first mistake. He kept yelling at me that he offered to switch rooms which is not the answer I wanted to hear. He then asked me what I wanted. I told him that I should not be charged at all. He told me that I was crazy and proceeded to cut the bill in half. Still, I am not satisfied. This hotel is at the New Market Battlefield and is a disgrace! I have informed the New Market Battlefield Association as well as the New Market Visitors Center about this place.

I am sending this email to you to express the horrible experience staying at Days Inn. For the last 6 years, I have traveled for business and have never had such a bad experience. I reserved a room through CheapoHotels at the Days Inn. When I arrived, they checked me in. The room that they had given me was near a stairwell. There was a wall that blocked my complete door to the point that I could not see the parking lot. I went back to the front desk and talked to the manager. He stated they only had one other room available. He gave me the number of the room to see the location.

When I went to see the other room, there were 6 men that had tattoos from head to toe barbequing in the parking lot with coolers full of beer. The room the manager wanted to give me was upstairs from these individuals. There were people hanging around outside smoking and doing all other illegal things. I went back to the front desk and told them that I did not feel safe as I am a female traveling alone. Amar the manager assured me that it was a safe place. I went upstairs to unload my luggage. As I walked in, there was a room key on the floor by the bathroom, so I decided to try it on my door. The room key that I found opened my room door. I went back to the office and reported it to them. They kept assuring me that the keys are deactivated. By this time, I felt that I was not safe, thinking, “Who else may have a key to access my hotel room?” Again, I went into the office and turned in the keys and told them that I was not going to stay in the room. The female at the front desk took the keys and asked me if the beds had been used. I told her of course not. I walked into the room and immediately went back down to the office. She said, “Good, because then we cannot rent out the room to anyone else.”

This all happened within 30 minutes of the time I was there. I asked them for a refund of my money since I was not staying where I was not safe. They advised me that I needed to contact CheapoHotels to get reimbursed. I called them and a female said I needed to go back to the hotel and get their approval and if the manager approved the request, they would give me back my money. So when I went back, the lady at the front desk called him and he told her, “Yes, that would be fine.” I then spent another 45 minutes waiting through CheapoHotels to give them the information. They then sent it to another department and said they would contact me. I was contacted today through a voicemail that they would not refund my money. Not only did I have to pay for another room that evening, but I could not access my debit card thereafter throughout my trip.

This part even gets better. I was unable to use my debit card for many purchases while I was on travel. I got back today and received an email from my bank stating someone had accessed my debit card information from a merchant on 04/11/12 and it was not an employee of the merchant; therefore, the bank closed my account for fraudulent debit card activity. I leave Saturday, 04/14/12, for another week of travel. Not only have I been inconvenienced with having to pay additional hotel expenses, but now I have to wait ten days to get another card in the mail. This experience has been the worst travel experience I have ever encountered. I have spent over 3 hours of my time today to resolve this issue with no resolution. The customer service number keeps hanging up when I ask them for corporate office numbers or addresses. I am therefore contacting the appropriate federal and state agencies that can take action against and who will investigate my concern, including the OSHA, for the safety of hotel guests.

I originally rented the room for 5 nights, and I was quoted a price of $168.00. Upon entering my room, I smelled mold. However, I decided to unload my things and settle in. After a while, I took a shower and noticed that the water did not go down the drain. Then, I looked around the walls and saw what appeared to be mold. Immediately, I contacted management who agreed to move me into another room. Within seconds, a man came to show me another room.

The new room seemed ok at first. However, you can see it was the same poor quality as the last room. The bottom of the mattress was exposed which seemed torn and old, and my allergies bothered me throughout the night. I knew I couldn't spend any more nights at this place. These rooms were obviously poor quality. The following day, I contacted Hotels.com and explained my situation. They told me that I would have to have management get in touch with them, which I did. I put the manager on the telephone as I was checking out, and she made it clear that instead of charging me $36.99 for the first night, she was going to charge me $45.99 for the first night because I was not staying the additional 4 nights. Not to mention, she wasn't the nicest.

I'm filing this complaint, because the refund for the rest of the nights have not been credited to my credit card and for my trouble, I should not be charged at all. Both Hotels.com and Days Inn grossly over-exaggerated the quality of these rooms, and I was deceived. Therefore, I want to be fully reimbursed.

We booked a smoking room at the Days Inn at Lake Charles, LA and upon arrival, we checked in and obtained our room keys. We walked into our room, set our first round of bags on the bed and immediately noticed the no smoking sign. We went back to the lobby before unloading any other bags and asked for the smoking room which we originally booked.

We were told that there weren't anymore smoking rooms left, then the guy who checked us in gave us two styrofoam bowls and said to use those until the manager came in because she knew where the rest of the ashtrays were. We came back to the room, finished unloading our bags from the car, got settled in and after about twenty minutes after returning to the room, the phone in the room rang. I answered it and a woman replied back saying that she was the manager and that since we were in a non-smoking room, we had to go outside to smoke.

We didn't have a problem with that but wanted to let her know that the guy gave us the bowls to use in lieu of an ashtray for the time-being and that we have already smoked. She immediately became irate, yelling at me to tell me that she was going to charge me extra for smoking in the room. I was trying to remain calm as I told her that the guy who checked us in, said that it was ok. She then kept yelling so much that I barely could understand her. I told her to stop yelling at me and then she started yelling at the guy who checked us in.

At the time, my partner could hear her yelling at me over the phone from across the room. My partner came over and took the phone from me and said, "ma'am, I beg your pardon but I can hear you yelling at him from across the room. He then went through the same treatment from her regarding the same conversation and when she started yelling at the guy at the front desk again, my partner told her that not only was it unprofessional to yell at a customer, but even more unprofessional to yell at an employee in front of a customer. She interrupted him while he was saying that and my partner said, "ma'am, will you please be quiet for just a minute and let me talk?" She said, "no, you shut up!" My partner then asked if he could speak with her district manager, then she said, "yes, you can" then hung up the phone.

We then contacted Days Inn via their 800 number, they took the information and were very polite and helpful, except when we asked if we could not be charged for the additional smoking fee (we didn't contest the room charge, just the smoking fee).

We were told that the manager could charge us whatever she wanted and would more than likely charge us the fee. We asked for a supervisor and were quickly transferred. The supervisor confirmed unapologetically that we would probably be charged and there wasn't much we could do even after the investigation that they would do is completed.

If there wasn't any smoking rooms and we had to smoke outside, that would have been fine, but don't give us something to ash in, tell us its ok to smoke in the room, then treat us like we were doing this out of malice and charge us for it.

I was staying at the Days Inn in Jonesboro, AR, for two weeks because I was working in Jonesboro on a construction project. Towards the end of my stay, I noticed that some of my medication had been taken from my bag as well as my Mp3 player. I talked to the front desk girl and she told me that she would look into it. I never heard anything else back from them. I will never stay at a Days Inn again.

The front desk clerk was rude and inappropriate. I felt absolutely harassed, I was not greeted as a guest but as if I was a miscreant of sorts. The instant I walked in the doors, I was no longer a customer but trouble, I was never greeted or welcomed. Without reason or cause, I was reprimanded upon sign and was sternly told that there was to be no loud noise or partying or additional visitors. I was here on a mini-vacation with my boyfriend. All I needed was a getaway and not a lecture. I was then told there was to be absolutely no smoking in the room, which is why I chose a non-smoking room to begin with. Then I was informed that there would only be one room available, that it was the only option and I was under the impression that I either could take it or leave it.

My boyfriend went to the front desk lobby for complimentary coffee the next morning. He was also harassed by the front desk clerk. He was also reminded that there was to be no smoking, not even on the balcony of the room. There was no need at all for this rude behavior. It was a bit excessive at this point. To top it off, after housekeeping came by the next day, I noticed that they had not even vacuumed the floor, or bother to replenish us with more plastic cups (which we had used up for our beverages and toiletries). I had a bit of makeup that had smeared onto a pillow that was still there. Is it standard practice to change the sheets/pillow covers daily or after each guest? Then as I used the facility the next day after housekeeping, I noticed on the bathroom floor there was a toenail clipping, which was neither my boyfriend's nor my own. Where did it come from and where was it swept out of? I am upset at the treatment I received and cannot believe a company would allow its name to be represented in such a horrible manner.

First, the Days Inn's webpage is very misleading. I was planning to go to Hilton Head Island for the Thanksgiving Holiday. I went to the Days Inn homepage. I found the hotel I wanted, and picked out the room and the days. Usually, hotels require a credit card to reserve a room and for late arrival. However, I have always had the ability to cancel a reservation. I travel a lot. Everything looked routine. So, I provided credit card information and contact information to reserve the room. You are not told that the entire amount of the stay will be charged and that this is a nonrefundable and non-cancellable charge. I was under the impression that I had held the room and that I would be charged when I checked out. The Days Inn website is very deceptive about letting you know that they are charging you the full amount of your stay taxes included.

That same day, I happen to be paying bills through my bank account. I noticed a charge for $352.89. It showed Days Inn contact information beside the charge. I called the Days Inn reservation 800 number and asked to speak to a customer service rep. I explained to him that I just wanted to reserve the room and that the website didn't clearly explain that I would be charged the full amount and that the charge was non-refundable and non-cancellable. The customer service rep. was extremely rude. He said there was nothing he could do. I told him that this was not right and that this was an unsavory business practice.

Days Inn virtually tricks you into doing this type of reservation. Also, I stated that it should be stated upfront in big bold type what type of reservation you are making. He maintained his level of rudeness. I told him that I wanted to cancel the reservation. He refused. I explained that I would dispute the charge and asked to speak to a supervisor. I was disconnected. I contacted my bank and they tried to dispute the charge.

However, during the week of Christmas my bank re-initiated the charge. I was away for the holiday. December is an expensive month for most people with presents, etc. However, airfare, hotel, rental car, and activities were all paid for or included in my hotel package. It was next to the last day of my vacation. I had about $400 cash in my bank account, which would have lasted until my next pay period. There were some miscellaneous charges that you incur during traveling, for example; meals. However, there was more than enough in my account to cover the charges. Then the bank re-initiated this charge from Days Inn claiming that Days Inn would not cooperate. Because I incurred this additional charge, my account became overdrawn and I incurred additional overdraft fees totaling $68.

I had a confirmed reservation guaranteed with credit card for Days Inn Miami International for November 13 to November 18, 2011. Confirmed rate was $85.46 for the first night. Due to international air delays, I arrived at 2 AM next day. The front desk attendant said I had no reservation but I showed her a screen capture of my confirmed reservation email. Then she said motel was full but she could let me have a no-show’s room for $159.95 plus taxes. I accepted—me and my wife are seniors and it was late.

When I arrived home I noticed in my bank statement they also charged me $93.46 from my reservation's credit card for the same night they charged $159.95 plus taxes. I was asked to complete an online survey about my stay and I reported my claim. The next day I received from a no-reply email saying the $93.63 didn't appear on his computer. I then tried to contact the Wyndham people (owners and managers) through their contact web page, but it couldn't go through until I changed to a US address. So not only I was charged $253.58 for a written confirmed rate of $85, but Wyndham or Days Inn will not accept any type of feedback online.

I booked this room online for the rate of $39.99 plus tax and upon arriving, I was told by the very rude manager "Bill" that I booked a smoking room, which I did not. I told them to switch me to a non-smoking room and he said, "I have to charge you more money." Trying to talk to "Bill" was a losing situation. He would not budge and he thought he was always right! This so-called manager would not cut me a break and the hotel wasn't even full. I even went back online to check to see the rate for a non-smoking room and it was still the same rate, $39.99. I am going to file a formal complaint with Days Inn. He does use this line a lot, "This isn't Motel 6." Trust me, Motel 6 around the corner is a better place to stay than here. Please don't waste your time!

The pillow cases were disgusting. They smelled like they are 3 weeks old and they haven't been washed. The pillows itself needed to be thrown away. If you look behind the furniture, especially the bed, there is so much dust and dirt! I'm not even exaggerating. Also look under the microwave, it's very disgusting. I saw a roach come out of the table. Nasty. I assumed that this place has bed bugs because I had hives and bumps and I was very itchy the whole stay. This was my worst hotel experience. You're better off staying at Motel 6 or in your car. Don't believe the positive reviews or any of the online pictures. This place needs a total overhaul. I did not get the rate that was online and I've been a Wyndham Rewards member for awhile.

I'm over 60 years old female, on moderate budget and am traveling for business. First the water in the bathroom was very hot only, so I had to go to another room to take a shower. The curtains were so wrinkled that they didn't even cover the windows. I took them down, asked to have them ironed and they were never put back within the 4 days I was there. I forgot a robe and house dress in the bathroom. After calling at least 10 times and being told that it will be shipped, my valuable pieces finally disappeared. The manager Monique herself hung up the phone on me after giving me the complaints line #. Complaining is useless since they are individually owned. I can't do anything about the loss of my clothing at all. Would you recommend this hotel? Report this review,
