I had such a great experience booking my flight through this website! Everything was smooth, clear, and easy to use. The prices were very reasonable — even cheaper than many other sites I checked. I really appreciate how transparent they are about the total cost, with no hidden fees or confusing steps. The booking process was fast, and I received my confirmation and e-ticket almost immediately. Getting to my destination was fine, no trouble. Coming back was a problem. You sent me an email about checking in to get my boarding pass. The link took me to the KLM website, which prompted me that I couldn't check in on their website for the flight and directed me to KM Malta Airlines website. After numerous failed attempts to check in with a confirmation number, flight number, etc., I finally gave up and called Support for help. I was then informed it is not possible to check in online, for some reason. I'm disappointed that I wasted two hours of my day trying to check-in when it's apparently not possible to do so with this airline. I tried using the booking confirmation number (**), the flight number (KL3398), and the e-ticket (**, with and without the /25). I'm doing a thumbs-up for Recommend because the first part was easy.

My sister and I have been using CheapOair for about three years. We have been very happy with the service. Never had a problem with our flights. We have always let the airline pick our seats. This time we received a call with the offer of sitting in front seats on all our flights. We paid $100 for trip from MBS to Miami. I can't tell you how much this will improve our trip, it's very hard for my sister and I to navigate to our seat when we are in the middle or back of plane. With our luggage and carry-on, and having walking problems, we thank you for the offers and the great customer service.

I always had good experience with the agents at CheapOair. They are so professional and patient, and it is well worth it to book with these agents as it takes the hassle from you trying to go through the different airlines to find cheaper tickets. With CheapOair, they do all the work for you. All you need to do is put in your billing information and it's done. I would absolutely recommend them to my family and friends.

The service I received was outstanding. I have been using Expedia, but the help I received through CheapOair was much better. I will be back for future airline business. When I began booking my flights online, I stopped when I was selecting seats because I had to book different flights for different family members and I thought it best to use the toll-free number to make sure all of the arrangements would work. I was not disappointed. Not only did they provide better service, but they also reduced some of the fees.

I was charged a cancellation penalty within 24 hours of booking, under the pretext that the airline had charged it. First, they made it so difficult to cancel. I had to chat with an agent after clicking cancel and confirming cancellation. The agent then goes on to ask multiple questions about the reason for cancellation, trying to convince me not to cancel. And when that didn't work, they stated that the airline would charge a cancellation fee.

Very good customer assistance. During the booking, I experience difficulty in getting the right schedules, email issues, payment confirmation. The agent has spent more than an hour trying resolve the issues for me and did that in a very polite way. I recommend anyone want to have a good travel experience try out CheapOAir

It was fast and the price was right. When I access the website, I could have access directly to what I was looking for and I was able to book my car really fast. It was even faster than writing this review. Hopefully I will be able to pick up the car I just booked and that there won't be no bad surprises. In the past I had rented a car. It says mileage free and when I went to pick it up I had to pay per miles. Hopefully I won't have to do this bad experience again so the service was good and fast with CheapOAir booking.

This was my second time booking through CheapOair, and I regret it more than ever. They make promises they don’t keep. I paid extra for a flexible flight option and other add-ons, but when I needed to make a change, none of it was honored. Their so-called flexibility is a complete illusion. I contacted them 20 days before my return flight to reschedule, and not only were they rude, but they also tried to manipulate the situation. One agent claimed, “I’m on the phone with the airline you’re flying with, and they’ve approved a discount on your flight change fee,” only to quote me $380—a ridiculous amount. It felt like a scripted gimmick designed to pressure me into paying.
There are many more frustrating details I don’t have time to share, but here’s the bottom line: book directly through the airline. You’ll avoid the stress, the deception, and the middleman tactics that CheapOair thrives on. I will never book with them again, and I actively discourage friends and family from using their service. If I hear someone considering it, I make it a point to warn them.

Too many options at the end. I was given an $11 credit, but it wasn't added when I checked out. This is a good app, but it can be a little daunting for a senior. I like that I can check different airports and was given the option to have travel insurance. I think the basic ticket should allow you at least an under-the-seat bag. Most of us can't afford to buy clothes when we get where we're going. I also think it's ludicrous how nitpicky you've gotten with charging for everything. The upside is, at least I have the option. Bring back the food. I'm traveling all day and don't have enough time between flights to get something to eat. I can't afford to buy your food because of all of the upgrades.

My experience using this site for booking a flight was efficient and quick! I was presented with more options than I anticipated were available to me. The additional accommodations that were offered were car rental, hotel and even insurance options to make the traveling experience smoother. I booked this flight as a present to my niece and to make memories with us during the holidays, and I was able to do so for little to no sacrifice to my budget. I was lucky enough to be helped by Noel. He was excellent. I mean I couldn't believe the level of service he gave me. He was patient, professional, knowledgeable, humorous and warm. He secured 8 tickets to Europe with a lot of moving parts to consider. I'm truly amazed CHEAPOAIR sounds like the service might not be high level but it was. Very, very, very difficult website. This morning we began planning and I wrote a simple summary of dates and times that we were considering. This evening I went back to the same website and everything had changed. I felt I was in another world. I called the phone line and was asked if flight prices were going up and the woman said “every day”. I was able to get a new set of flights and confirm. This all took all day and I am now exhausted. Horrible!

The airline determines the pricing and all other travel agencies and the airline all pull from the same inventory, so it can change all the time as the fares get sold out. We appreciate the feedback.

We had a good experience with Agent Keller. He was very friendly an professional. Keller took a lot of time answering our questions. I loved the fact that he stayed on the line to verify all details. Everything is likely to be okay, except for the seat selection fee, which is initially listed as $0.00 but automatically increases to $19.99 once a seat is selected. I really don’t understand why the system does this. Please have the system corrected if there is an issue with it.

Been using CheapoAir for years. For my requirements and the airline I use consistently it's performed very well and I can always get help by phone when I need it. I like their layout and that I can see available seats before I book. I also like that it shows alternate dates with lower prices.

Booked a flight thru them from Toronto to Barcelona for what l thought was a good price, Went to do my on-line check-in only to find out l have to pay $176 for each checked bag. I was NEVER informed of this charge at time of booking, nor is this mentioned in any of my paperwork. What a shock. So much for a reasonable fare. Buyer beware.
We have reviewed the reservation and this was booked online and not with an agent over the phone. The bag policy is listed directly beneath the flight details highlighted in orange, and again once the flight has been chosen and displayed on the second booking page. You have to click on the link to review the type of bag you will be taking as the bag cost are charged separately because we do know if you will have bags, or carry on or etc. There is also over weight bag charges as well. Our apologies for the inconvenience.

I was able to select my seats which is very important to me. He explained my layovers, and what to expect as far as how long, and where.

As a person who doesn't do much flying I'd have to say that the app helped a lot to inform me of what size of carry on and other options. They also sent me a notice when I was supposed to check in for my flight. I did it all online.

I’ve had the worst experience with CheapOair and want to warn others not to trust them. At first, everything looks fine when you’re booking—the website seems professional, and the prices appear reasonable—but once they have your money, their customer service completely disappears. I tried reaching them several times for help with my booking, and it was a total nightmare.
The phone numbers barely connect, emails go unanswered, and when you finally get someone on the line, they’re rude and completely unhelpful. Each time I called, I got a different answer, and no one took responsibility for anything. It honestly feels like they only care about getting your payment and nothing else. If you ever run into an issue, you’re on your own. I would strongly advise everyone to stay away from CheapOair—they are not trustworthy and have the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. I keep warning people! Believe me!

Austin helped straighten out an issue with my ticket. The flight is not until November, but I decided to secure seats as I have done in the past on American. I had been charged for selecting seats for a flight in November. Not knowing that I would be charged, I called and he handled my request to refund the amount charged. He was great!

I clicked on a link from an email to check in and cannot find anywhere on the website to check in. So I tried to use the chat link and got no response from the chat bot. So then I clicked on 'chat with live agent' and no one answered. So finally I called the phone number and was told I had to check in with the airline itself. Thank you for a colossal waste of time.

I’ve had one of the worst experiences of my life dealing with CheapOair, and I feel it’s important to warn others before they make the same mistake. Do not trust this company! They make everything look smooth and reliable at the time of purchase, but once they have your money, the reality becomes completely different. Their so-called “customer service” is practically non-existent, and it feels like their only real goal is to get you to buy a ticket—after that, you’re completely on your own.
When I first came across CheapOair, I was drawn to their seemingly competitive prices and user-friendly website. The booking process looked simple enough, and the confirmation email arrived quickly, which gave me a false sense of confidence. Unfortunately, that was where the good part ended. Not long after purchasing my ticket, I needed assistance with a simple change—something that most reputable travel companies would handle easily. That’s when the nightmare began.
Trying to reach their customer service was exhausting. The phone numbers either didn’t connect or kept me on hold indefinitely. When I finally managed to speak to someone, the representative was unhelpful and clearly not trained to solve problems. Each time I called back, I received contradictory information, and at one point, I was even told to “call the airline directly,” which completely defeats the purpose of booking through a travel agency. Emails went unanswered for days, and when responses did arrive, they were generic copy-and-paste messages that showed no real intention of helping.

This was the first time I used CheapOair and it was the worst experience ever. I will never ever use this company again. I had to threaten them was seeking legal advice because they charged me $125 for a fee and nobody I mean, nobody could explain to me what the $125 fee and after speaking to about a dozen people, nobody could tell me what it was for and then all of a sudden I threaten them with seeking legal advice, demanding names, and numbers and addresses to send to my attorney and then all of a sudden I’m getting my $125 back so needless to say, I will never use this company nor would I ever ever recommend them. It was the worst experience ever.
We are not finding a reservation booked with us, the email you gave did not locate a booking, and you did not provide the confirmation number. For assistance you need to speak with the billing department for they can tell you what the charges are.

Took my money and changed my flight date without my authorization. I had a date that I need to be somewhere and you took that option for me without my authority. I like something giving back to me some kind of remittance. You took precious time away from me.
We see that you have spoken with an agent regarding your expressed concerns. Looks like we offered you an alternate flight that was cheaper, but it did have a different date and you chose the 17th and must have overlooked the date which was highlighted. Disappointed that CheapOair would not refund me my checked baggage fee since I was no longer bringing checked bags. I booked with CheapOair and not the airline directly. The suggestion to check with the airline was absurd since I did not pay them.
Very sorry for the recent experience. When you secured the bags on our website, that payment goes directly to the airline even though it was done through our website, and the airline charged your card and they are the ones that got paid, so you have to request it through them, but most bags fees they do not refund.

Very poor business practices and terrible customer service. I canceled my trip less than 24 hours after booking a trip that was over a month away and was charged over $103. I have been a loyal customer of CheapOair for the last 10+ years and I will never book through this website again. The agent I spoke to on the phone was rude and unhelpful and the rules regarding trip cancellations are shady as the website says you can cancel and receive a refund if this is done within 24 hours of booking. Really disappointed.

I booked 2 round trip tickets from Jacksonville Florida to Indianapolis Indiana on American Airlines. The cost of each ticket was $276.00. I was charged an additional $494.00 for seats that I never selected and never approved the charges on my credit card. I found out only when I received my credit card bill. I called them many times and they referred me to the airline. I called American Airlines and they said CheapOair is notorious for this type of activity. I was told if I disputed the charges I would stand the chance of losing my entire ticket. This type of deception is uncalled for. I plan to pursue this situation further.

Do not use this site. They talked me into buying travel insurance and now I need it and they can’t help me or do anything about it. Made me wait in hold for over 30 min to tell me to pound sand. Insurance site even asks if this is a travel agent as they can most definitely do this for their customer but refuse to do so.
We've reviewed the reservation and see that you booked this online and at that time insurance was added. Also, the insurance is for medical emergencies, lost and damaged bags, and delayed flights, it is not for a change of plans or date changes as your request was. We provide the entire PDF file for your review to go through it, and if it is not what you need, you had 10 days from the purchase date to cancel it for a refund. Our apologies for the inconvenience.

He was extremely helpful and patient and above all a professional customer service representative. Worst company out there for airfare and car rentals! When I went to rent my car, they tried to trick me into buying their insurance. That’s why they were so cheap. They had me use Ace rental car out of LaGuardia. Worst rental car company there is. Told me I had to bring my declaration page for my own insurance to be able to use it. I’ve been renting cars and traveling for years and never had anybody tell me I needed to bring that. Just a way to trick you into buying their insurance. When I told him no, and that I wasn’t gonna rent their car I went over to Enterprise and rented. They kept my money anyway. I got no car and no money back! Two worst companies out there. Do not use CheapOair whatever you do and never use Ace car rental!

I got into a chatting with a customer service rep by the name of Adelmo to request a cancellation. He is extremely slow. I told him I wanted to cancel. He goes " I will check that for you." 20 mins had passed away...I was still waiting and asked 'why is this taking so long? He goes "it takes time to look for cancellation policy of the airline." I advised him to go to the airline website and read the policy. He goes... There is no policy, what the hell is it? Having this lazy guy working for your company is a definitely minus for your company !!

We worked with Norman (I believe that is his name, my memory at 80 yrs isn't perfect anymore). I had tried to book my flights on line myself, but received a message that my flights were no longer available. I was ready to give up then because all of the other flights were to pricy (I guess I took too long to book and our tickets were sold out from under us!). It was then that I received the call from Norman offering to find affordable flights for us. He was very helpful and patient and was able to find and book very reasonable tickets for us by using different airlines for our Departure from and Return to PHOENIX. I had the pleasure of having Francis to assist me with my ticket purchases. I was making reservations for my daughter and granddaughter on a trip where they are traveling back to the US from South Africa. You can blame my age, but I could not recall my granddaughter's birthday and neither could I reach anyone at 1:30 AM in the US nor my daughter at a remote, Wi-Fi-challenged location near Durban to verify that date of birth. So Francis offered to stay with me on the call for as long as I needed to go through whatever I needed to go through to find that detail. He could not do without it to complete the booking.
At long last, after hanging up with Francis, making several futile phone calls in the US and abroad, I remembered where I had stored away a folder which had my daughter's biographic details, having been the one not long ago to prepare and file the application for her passport. Who was still there waiting patiently? Francis. There without a hint of ill temper or professional impatience. He turned what was to me an embarrassing and irksome episode into just another normal encounter with a customer who needs help. Pray that all Customer Support personnel and representatives are just like Francis. So, I thank him.

I have used this company to purchase flights on a regular basis. I can often beat the prices on the actual airlines' websites. I buy one-way tickets most often so that my entire itinerary is not impacted in case a change needs to be made. I’m flying today with this company to Berlin. This is my first and the last time I’m using this company because for checking in I was charged $30 for my carry-on bag. I was charged $120 so this is the this way so that means I have to pay all that when I’m coming back back so my ticket it’s not $900. It would be almost $1300 so these hidden fees is not fair and especially I talked to agent.

We provided the bag policy for your review in two different areas prior to purchasing the ticket, it appears this was overlooked. Also, you can always check on the airline website prior to arriving at the airport 24 hours before to check in and add all those bags as it may be cheaper ahead of time.

I just bought 2 tickets, everything looks great. I called a representative to confirm everything and I found out that it was an extra charge because I chose the seats! It's an overseas fly, when I chose seat for the first fly I saw a charge, and was agree, the for the other 3 flies a window showed 0.00 charge. The amount on screen didn't showed me a total. I proceed to pay. So now I was charge 400 extra dollar because I choose the seats!! Beside that the representative was rude and keep telling me that I have to read the emails, how? If I didn't confirm anything, he didn't care about it' just telling me the I should read everything, something that I did. Well I will just pass this experience with all my friends and family to stay away from this app since they have extra charges under the table after you pay.
We've reviewed the reservation and see that two of the segments you booked "preferred seating" which comes at a higher cost and it was for 2 people. The pricing does show up when you click on the seat to book it, and also the cost does get displayed before hitting submit. Unfortunately the seat fees are non refundable and that is an airline policy for Air Canada. Also, it is best to book a seat, if the airline gets oversold and you don't have a confirmed seat you do go on the standby list. Regarding the agent, we will review the conversation as we do not tolerate rudeness.

The experience was pretty much non-painful. It went pretty quick and would be even faster if you guys weren't constantly trying to cram extra stuff down our throats. Just put the extra options on a side panel that a person can click on IF they are interested. (All those extra windows opening up trying to sell add-ons is ridiculous.)

There was a problem with my booking and they were difficult to work with. Then even though I rebooked within one hour, the cost of my ticket went up by over a hundred dollars. I got screwed. I understand that they have rules and regulations, but even if they aren’t flexible, they could have at least held the price. They claimed it would be free to charge, but failed to mention the fees involved then just deflected the issue.
Thank you for reaching out, we have reviewed the reservations and see that you called to change the name on the original booking which required a complete cancellation and rebook. Once the tickets are issued, name changes/corrections are not allowed. When the agent went back to book the flights, the fare had gone up as the fares are not guaranteed as the fare does get sold out, and also based on availability, so the next available price would have to be booked.

I have used CheapOair many times through the years and they have frequently saved me money, when compared to very similar flights offered by other comparison sites, and by the airlines themselves! In one case, when I called the CheapOair help line, I was informed of an even lower price than I had found in my own comparison search, and the rep then booked the flight for me!

Please don’t book anything with CheapOair. I had bad experiences with this site. Customer service doesn’t help you at all. If you buy fly protection on your fly. It just going to be another extra expense. They don’t apply it when you need it.

They charged for EVERYTHING even sending me a bill to add a pet travel fee and I wasn’t traveling with a pet. Then charged for seats. It didn’t give the option to just wait till the day of flight. Charge for bags. Charge to check in online. Who does that?!?! Never again!!!!

Absolutely disgusting service by CheapOair. I literally booked my ticket and accidentally spelled my passenger name wrong by missing “N” in Brandon (Spelled Bradon). Called CheapOair- their response- buy the coverage, cancel the ticket and pay cancellation fee for $200. Spoke with some guy and second representative name Marci. I get it you make money on commission but getting this low just to fix spelling error is absolutely disgusting. I wouldn’t recommend this site to anyone.

Our seeking reservations for Miami/Havana round trip was first day by multiple airline websites. Within 24 hours fares took a great leap higher with much less available. They claim they had a problem running my card, then they told me to call my bank, and Citi said they never received a request, but there is no problem on their end with my account. I called CheapOair and they kept passing me off to different people. Finally, this lady said she will rerun it in a few hours but the price may have gone up. Do I still want it (Take it or not)? Well, it was $80 more, but I checked today and it is the same price I was originally ($80 less) told. I was scammed, I think. I was going to buy several other trips, but I need to find someone I can trust.

I am 77 years old and not as quick with computers and iPhones, and the service representative whose name is Ignatius (hope the spelling is correct) was patient, kind, and allowed me to have plenty of time to explain my situation. We spent at least 30 minutes on the phone call. He helped me book my flights, and he made me feel comfortable in my choice of tickets and protection coverage. I cannot thank him enough for his hard work and kindness towards me. I would give him my highest rating. He deserves a raise in pay. He is exceptional and just plain outstanding. CheapoAir change fees are very high. For a change due to a broken leg, cost almost 1/3rd the price of the ticket. So a $1500 ticket the change fee was $400 per ticket. This was per ticket per person. You ask for a supervisor and they will not give you one. You ask for an email address and they will not give you one.

So far the service received has been good. I had issues with a seat upgrade I had paid for but when I called the number the lady on the phone quickly took care of the situation. Everything costs more...a ticket, and email, a change... so be careful on that front. Prices are good though.

I bought my ticket a month before flight. Few days later I called to make sure I put correct DOB because my eyesight is getting worse. The agent on the phone said I made a mistake and said he did correct it. On the eve of my flight I tried to check in just to learn the DOB was still incorrect. I called the airline, they told me to call CheapOair agents who told me again to call the airline.
Few minutes ago I was chatting with Cairnis who wrote the DOB was corrected on the side of the airline and resent the itinerary to me. Itinerary does not show DOB, otherwise I would have found that earlier. I tried to check in again and of course, the DOB is still wrong. Your agents tell me -- mostly in heavily accented English, which is hard for me to understand, as I am a foreigner too and comprehend better standard spoken English -- that I have to call the airline or go to the airport counter and show them the print out of what the itinerary. Thanks, it was my last time ... I got a lesson and learned it.

Lots of hidden fees they don't tell you about... not saving much or anything at all after all the fees take place. They advertised the price you see is the price you pay.. which that was determined to be a bunch of lies... better off just booking directly with an airline next time.

Any additional cost are "optional" like support packages, insurance, and pre-check in which are not mandatory so if you add those options that can increase your final cost. Then there is the arline who charges for seats and baggage and that is displayed underneath the flight details so that you can review before you purchase, and those fees would be charged regardless if you booked with us, or the airline, or another company.

During my booking experience during my booking experience with CheapOair, I encountered an issue with the Affirm virtual card and nearly gave up on my reservation. Fortunately, I received a call from a CheapOair agent named Nelson who was incredibly helpful, patient, and dedicated. He guided me through the entire process of paying with the Affirm virtual card. I learned that I had not activated my plan, but Nelson took the time to ensure that my payment was successfully processed. Thank you so much for being such a dedicated agent!

I have been totally satisfied with my booking of international flights on CheapOAir. The app is easy to use. One time I had to contact customer service while out of the country and it was also super easy to get an issue addressed. Turns out it was my fault (lol) but they were totally cool. I just used them again to book another flight. P.S. I found their search process gave me what I was looking for quickly and accurately (e.g. lowest fares with best flights). I recommend them.

We will NEVER use CheapOair again! We booked flights for 6 and they emailed a "change" to us and when we called to accept the change we were told that flight didn't exist. We cancelled that flight with difficulty. We arrived at airport to fly home and was told that we had no connecting flight and they couldn't contact us because they didn't have phone or email, even though we received an email the day before telling us to check in to a non existent flight!!!! Had the ticket agent not questioned our final destination we would have been stranded in the airport overnight!!!

Booking with CheapOair is my favorite! They have the option of making payments overtime which allows single parents to take a trip and not have the hassle of having an overload of money. I appreciate paying later. It works for my best interest. The agent called me to make sure I’ve added everything to the trip that was necessary including insurance. Terrible service. Before I booked the trip it shows only one stop in my way back, after I did it it shows that I have to go from one airport to another in the same city and it will be on me in another country, I have to get a transit visa, no more than 30 minutes after I made the reservation I called this CHEAP company and they want more than 200 dollars to cancel the reservation or get another flight and pay more than 200 dollars x passenger. That's so ridiculous.

Made a reservation by telephone and it took over one hour. A hidden fee of $109 was charged for this transaction of which I was not aware until I looked at my charge card statement. Within 24 hours I called to change the reservation to a different departure time. Although a rate was given on the web site agent tried to charge over $300 for a change. I finally canceled and even this took a long time and agent tried to charge a fee until I pointed out that website said free cancellations within 23 hours. Again a service fee of $109 appeared on my credit card statement. Nowhere are service fees mentioned on agency website. I will not use this agency again.

I have one mission now: to write everywhere and warn others not to use this platform. They have hidden fees, are extremely expensive, and their airline baggage fees are not clearly transparent. This platform is the worst. I lost almost $300 for nothing because I trusted them and believed they would be fair. This was the first time I put trust in a company like this, and they ripped me off.

I'm very disappointed with this website. As soon as I was done booking my flight, I received a phone call from a gentleman who I could not understand but wanted to charge me $4.95 for me to get my boarding pass. I informed him I didn't want to be charged for a boarding pass and would get it at the airport. He was not happy with that answer. I will use a different site from now on. It re ridiculous to be charged for a boarding pass that come through email or text.

I prepaid to purchase my aisle seat but we were reassigned one aisle and one inside. I chatted with customer service about getting my $ back and was told there was nothing they could do. Why offer the seat selection for a fee if can’t fulfill. False advertising.

Easy booking. No bull fees less than $26. Very fair. Saved way more than that using Cheapoair. I would recommend using them to anyone who wants to fly to their destinations at a cheaper rate. They offer hotel and car rentals as well, but I did not need those services.

Cheaper is not better, by the time you finish paying for all the extras you end up paying more. It's best to read between the lines, and deal directly with the airline you wish to fly with. Extra for baggage, extra for your seat, extra for a carry on. Plus the booking fee. Not worth it.

Purchasing airline insurance with this site doesn't give you what other sites do. Instead of giving you online options, you have to cancel and file a claim. It was difficult to hear and the call was dropped 2 times. The agent called back and completed the call. I was surprised by the small additions and differences in charges i.e. choosing your seat or printing the boarding pass. Also the total was $1.46 more than stated. All small amounts, but it appears very unprofessional. Not having heard of this company prior, this all added to being skeptical that it was a legit service company. Guess I'll hope for the best.

Very strange that you are misleading your customers on every SMS that sending. You offer your useless apps that customers can not use for the any flight information. Seats information are not available, gate info also missing, check-in impossible through your apps. WHY customers can use it?

I booked a ticket for my husband to fly with me from August 30th and coming back September 2nd but when I got the confirmation, it showed my husband departing August 31st. I immediately called. I thought it was my fault. While on hold, I booked another ticket for my son to leave on September 2nd and return on September 5th with me and my daughter. When I get the confirmation, it says he returns on September 4th. My husband was helping me confirm EVERYTHING and then we made the purchase. This time it showed him coming back on September 4th. We wouldn’t do that because he will miss the funeral. There is something wrong. I still suspect this s designed to charge people more money which is an evil gaslighting. I would recommend that all customers take screenshots before making purchases with CheapOair. This is wrong and I’m going to report them.

We do not change any flights once reservations are made as that would be a disaster to our business. It took over 30 minutes to check in, had to go to the American Airlines website to get boarding passes. The virtual assist only wanted to sell me my boarding passes. Than after I was checked in with the airlines and also printed my passes, CheapOair notified me I could check in.

I've used CheapOair several times over the past year for both business and personal travel, and overall it's been a solid experience. The website is user-friendly and makes it easy to compare prices across different airlines quickly. I've saved a decent amount compared to booking directly with airlines, especially on international flights. Their customer service team has been helpful when I've had questions about bookings or needed to make changes. The booking process is straightforward, though you do need to be careful about the add-ons they offer during checkout. I appreciate that they send confirmation emails promptly and keep you updated on flight changes.
One minor issue I've encountered is that sometimes the cheapest fares have very tight layovers that aren't always clearly highlighted upfront. The mobile app works well for managing bookings on the go, which is convenient for frequent travelers like myself. I've never had major problems with tickets not being valid or bookings getting lost, which seems to be an issue some people worry about with third-party sites. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is that their refund process can be a bit slow, and customer service wait times are sometimes longer than I'd prefer. For routine flight bookings where you want to save money and don't need premium customer service, CheapOair does the job well. I'll continue using them for my travel needs, especially for leisure trips where flexibility isn't as critical.

My issue is still not resolved. I have had the most frustrating experience with CheapOair. The airline I booked keeps changing one of the flights and when I try to reach CheapOair, they are absolutely unresponsive. Their chat indicates that they are very busy and their phone lines are never answered. You will always get a standard message about being very busy and to call within 7 days of my trip. That is nonsense. And if I get lucky to talk to someone, they will want to transfer the call to the "itinerary change" department and that call abruptly ends because the transfer does not occur. Be very cautious before you purchase a ticket through this online travel agency. Never again will I ever deal with this outfit. Chances are you will be frustrated.

Eldon (agent) was very helpful and courteous. He made suggestions regarding possible options and alternatives that would have lowered the cost. I was not able to change the dates for my flight because of conflicts on my end. All in all, I am quite pleased with the interaction.

I have never used CheapOair and won’t again. Have virtually spoken with several “agents” about cancellation of first half of trip with Spirit Airlines due to fact they changed departing times x3. I asked for confirmation email regarding this and never received one. Finally my funds were returned BUT 2 weeks later I am still getting emails “confirming my outgoing flight with Spirit”.

Part of my family (4) were unable to travel due to a medical emergency. Since Avianca Airlines promises to return the funds in emergencies like this, I sent medical certificates and everything they asked but they refused to honor their promise. Those of us (5) who were able to travel did not get the seats we paid for ($188) and, of course, we did not get the money back. Cheapoair and Avianca kept throwing the ball at each other and simply kept the money. NEVER AGAIN.

Too much pressure & email asking for more $$ for unnecessary insurance. They want me to buy insurance in case the airline goes bankrupt. Constant pursuit to get your money. This is a difficult business to get out of your life after purchasing your tickets.

Your direction for booking through the internet are easy to follow, especially for me who as an oldy is not an easy task! The price are acceptable although they could improve. The charges for the carry on luggage is not fair especially when the inflation in the USA is causing economy deprivation in low and middle class family.

The ticket was very expensive. The Cheapoair took advantage. I don’t recommend booking from cheapoair. This is my last booking from cheapoair. The raisin I booked today cause it was emergency. I have been customer to cheapoair for a long time. I find out that this airline take advantage of time. Not helpful at all.

I booked an international Airline ticket last July 9 2025 for an August 14 2025 flight. I also purchased a seat selection from CheapOair which showed “CONFIRMED SEAT” but when I got to the Airport and checked in, the Airline denied my seat choice even after showing the Airline agent the Cheapoair Seat Confirmed selection. I purchased a Window seat 29J for the 15 hour flight and the Airline gave me a middle 40E seat, I felt I got scammed here paying for a service that I did not get.

When booking the flight, and then paying, you are not aware that there will be many additional charges. There should be information explaining that there is going to be a charge for protection, charge for an actual seat on the flight you just booked and paid for as well as an additional charge to bring clothes in a suitcase to war during the trip! When you find this out, you have already made the commitment for the flight. More information has to be available before booking.

I book a ticket for my wife and to cancel it after 30 min. They want to charge me $75 while it is said you have 24h to cancel your booking. The cancelation should be free as it is said on the website. This is really unfair and it has to be fixed. That is not a good way to treat customers.
We will look into this, as some fares do not have the grace period and depends on the fare rules.

Dont ever book through them, and I mean ever!!! It's better to go and book directly through the actual airline. I tried cancelling my reservation within a few hours after booking it and the representative tried to charge me a $100 cancellation fee per person, that's $300 for cancelling the booking after a few hours of booking it. Every other airline and company gives you 24 hours to cancel for free but not CheapOair, they are just hungry for money and will do anything to make an extra buck. Extremely disappointed!!!!
