Excellent cooperation and support for the confirmation of pre-booked ticket which was re-scheduled by the airline. I was informed about the changes in flight numbers but didn't know that the confirmation is necessary. I contacted Cheap-o-air and they did it.

I called today around 4 pm and was on the phone for 41 min with customer support. They transfer me 5 times to different departments and nobody was able to help me. Telling me that I did not paid for my luggage. When I purchased the ticket it said it did. Anyway they called me within 30 min the day of the purchase to tell me that and she guided me thru saying it was $90.00, now it's a chaos and I am very upset.

Poor refund handling. Purchased "Travel Protection" which protects for flight cancellation - they don't specify that YOU cannot cancel, it is only by the airline. Horrible customer service. Gave me many options - none that were helpful. "Contact airline" - which they advised only Cheapoair could assist. Told to contact Tripmate - which was stupid because they had already told me tripmate is the insurance that would open a claim if airline cancelled the ticket - HELLOO - I just told you I am cancelling the trip. "Can I help you with a booking with more refund options" - Ok, let's upgrade this ticket for more options - To then hear "oh no" it is a completely separate booking, this one is non refundable. - Why would I want another booking if this is not needed? You feel like you are talking to a wall. "Let me check on your issue". After 1 hr on a chat, they disconnected and closed chat.

I got my ticket early and price was unreal....413.00. I couldnt believe it and that is round trip..!! Unreal price. You should always look at CheapOair for your flights. They are awesome in the dealings I have had with them.

CheapOair was an awful website to use and definitely not user-friendly. Somehow, the travel date I originally selected on the first page changed during the booking process. While I understand I should have caught it before finalizing, I still don’t understand how the date changed in the first place.
The most frustrating part was that I noticed the mistake immediately and called customer service within minutes — not even 2 minutes later — yet nothing meaningful was done to help. I also purchased travel insurance, only to be told that it would not cover a cancellation or correction within 24 hours. That made absolutely no sense to me and felt very misleading. They would be able to change dates, but I would have to pay 350 more. This feels so deceptive and a total money grab.
Overall, the experience was stressful, disappointing, and customer service showed very little willingness to help resolve an obvious issue that was caught right away. I am now out $50 and do not have airfare.

This company scams you by not booking what you request. I booked 2 round trip tickets as the receipt shows, but they decided to instead make them into 4 one-way tickets all booked separately which if nothing changed probably would have been fine. But, the airline AeroMexico changed the flight times for the outbound flight which was to a time not possible for us to fly. But since Aeromexico only changed the outbound flight and as far as they knew they were only responsible for that one-way flight which Aeromexico did refund but now I have an unusable return flight that Aeromexico nor cheapOAir is willing to give a refund. I have no way to use a return flight if I could not get to the destination in the first place.
I feel confident CheapOAir did this intentionally knowing the airline often changes flights and they would still make money on the other leg if the customer can’t travel at the changed flight times. From my perspective they stole several hundred dollars from me selling me a flight I can’t use. I will NEVER consider CheapOAir again.

My experience with CheapOair was beyond frustrating and deeply disappointing. I paid extra for travel insurance believing my ticket would be protected if an unexpected situation happened. When I needed to cancel, I provided the required documentation and still had my claim denied, leaving me to lose my ticket money. Paying for insurance that does not provide the protection you reasonably expect feels like a complete waste of money.
What made this experience even more frustrating was that when I called CheapOair for help, I felt like the focus was on repeatedly pushing me to purchase an assistance service before clearly informing me that my ticket could not be changed or canceled. As a customer, I expected transparency and straightforward information from the beginning, not additional pressure to purchase more services.
The overall experience gave me the impression that customer care came second and that the priority was selling additional services and collecting more money rather than helping solve the problem. I felt completely let down, frustrated, and disappointed by how everything was handled. Based on my experience, I would never book through CheapOair again and would strongly encourage others to carefully review every condition and limitation before spending extra on insurance coverage.

First, they said they would call me back in two hours, but they never did. I had to handle things as best I could because the app is in English, and I don't speak it fluently. Second, when I called to see if anyone could help me, the gentleman who answered wasn't very friendly.

Run run away from Cheapoair.... They aren't honest with their service. You will lose money if you try do booking with them. No one is supposed to lose money at all. I need my full refund as soon as possible.

It's been surprising how much CheapOAir actually charges for every little step, including getting seats selected, checking in and getting boarding passes. Turns out not to be as cheap as it looks at first. A bit of a rip off.

I do not know where to begin. I booked a one way plane ticket for my girlfriend. Upon payment, I noticed that the last 3 letters of her first name were omitted on the reservation. I spoke with two people online. Called 3 times and was disconnected twice. I wrote letters to two different emails, both feedback and reservations. This was all within the 1rst hour of booking. I encountered people whom could barely speak English. They just stonewalled me and sent me around in circles. Have no idea if they even listened to this very minor adjustment. Now I am trapped with unrefundable tickets, hanging in limbo, unsure how to proceed. Like pounding sand.

Why is this website giving my updates about a flight on tomorrow with Spirit Like it's still on? They need to get their computers in sync with each other. Spirit flights are DONE WITH idiots... They are sending me emails like Spirit Airline is still in business and I can go to Ohara tomorrow and Fly. WHY WHY WHY?

Won't use them again. They did complete my reservation, then sent me several messages a day telling me to check in and then never letting me check in. Finnair was the carrier but the flights were operated by American, and CheapoAir told me to check in with Finnair but Finnair told me to check in with American. American told me to check in with Finnair. I "chatted" with CheapoAir who took much of my time running me around in circles, when I finally got a human on the chat they said I had to check in at the airport. I wanted to get a seat assignment in advance though. So then I chatted with American, got a live human, got no help, then chatted with Finnair, got a live human, who finally helped me. So basically much wasted and irritating time getting to someone who could help when Cheapo gave me bad advice. SAME THING HAPPENED ON THE RETURN TRIP. Utterly useless. No cheaper than any other platform either. Don't use them.

I purchased the cancelation fee and was declined for my reimbursement. I am sorely dissatisfied with CheapOair. No longer a fan. The online chat refused to help me with reimbursement when clearly I purchased the cancelation fee just in case it was actually needed and it is needed.

Hi. After booking, in just 5 min, I found out that one of the traveler had incorrect name. Wile booking there no option to enter names at all. I was logged in my account, so I assumed that tickets will be on my name, that all. There was just one option just go straight to the payments. So I did that. After reading my reservation printout, I found wrong name on one of the travelers. I asked agent to fix this right away.. Unfortunately he was not able to help me. I had to pay penalty for cancelation, 100$, and do new booking. At this time there was clear option to enter names, and passport info. So, BE VERY CAREFULLY by using this website. They charge You money for website page mistakes. And, I am not making this up. I am working with computers for my lifetime, and I do know what I am doing.

Complete scam. I was pressured to hurry and disconnected after receiving a quote for main cabin flight. When he called back, he switched it to economy but did not tell me, and he rushed me to pay. American Airlines told me they overcharged me by $150. And then my flights were not main cabin and not flexible in case of emergency. And I had an emergency! I called CheapO over and over again. But they disconnected the calls. I had to buy an additional flight from the airline. Customer service has had me on hold now that I am back for hours. Never again.

In February I booked a flight to Europe and my flight is in May due to medical reasons. I had to cancel and they do not give you a refund. They want to charge you a thousand dollars to reschedule a different date. Unbelievable, terrible service. Do not buy any tickets from Cheapoair. They really suck. What a ripoff.

Warning to travelers: I booked a flight through Cheapoair and my experience has been extremely stressful. My ticket issue remains unresolved, customer support stopped responding, and I missed my planned return because of the situation. I made multiple attempts to contact the company but could not get clear help or a resolution timeline. Before booking with this company, I strongly recommend researching recent customer experiences carefully and considering whether you are comfortable dealing with delayed or missing support if a problem happens. I am still hoping for a resolution, but I want other travelers to be aware of my experience.

How do you deal with Cheapoair? You run ... as fast as you can and find another provider. They managed to force an authorization on a credit card that was declined by looking at the history of bookings to locate the CCV and Expiry date. I purposely input the wrong CCV and expiry to buy some time to confirm details. Now it's been at least 13 hours trying to deal with a reservation and the tying up of funds on a credit card. No one seems to give a rat's butt about anything. You tell them you don't have cell service when in the USA and they offer to call you there. How frustrated can a company make you. What they did was Negligence in my mind. Credit card details are private and not shared ... They are given in trust for that transaction only. Being on hold for 1.5 hours to speak to someone - then they transfer you to someone you don't need to speak to. Is this the meaning of: Get your customer to pay more and expect less?

I had booked a roundtrip flight per the booking number #**. The confirmation requested seat selection, which it didn't have, and baggage which I had already paid for in the original booking. I asked online with a rep about the confirmation and I was told that everything was done and I would receive a booking pass emailed to me. I didn't receive that, but received an email telling me that I hadn't finished the process and the ticket price had gone up. So I ended up having to have this booking canceled and rebook the flight with a increase in cost of $200. I think this was very unfair to me especially since I asked specifically if I needed to do anything else to complete my transaction and was told no. I had to rebook my flight with booking #**.

Chat function does not have people who respond to your questions. I didn't get a boarding pass and my first and middle names are one big name. Nobody helps. Waited 10 minutes after they connected and didn't respond to any message. Like are you there?

Disappointed this time, just a name change and they ask for $100.00. Everything is getting too pricey. They offer me better seats if I buy extra package and that didn't happen either. Not the best customer service this time. Too many transfers to different departments and nothing got fixed.

I paid for baggage both ways but it is showing I only paid for my bag going to SJU but not returning. I know I paid 35 dollars to SJU and 45 Dollars back to MCO but it isn't showing the return to MCO charge.

I was confused because I was given a 6 digit confirmation number but my email was telling me a booking 8 digits. I was going crazy thinking AI had messed me up. I felt like a the biggest idiot. The agents do a great job at Cheapoair. Thanks again!

I booked a flight to Pennsylvania, but instead of going to Philadelphia, it will go to Pittsburgh. Tried to change location or get some credit to apply to fix the mistake. They would not give credit so, I would lose 1,200 I paid already and be recharged a whole another amount on top of the money I spent for nothing.

While booking my flight online I opted for the upgrade to allow me to select my seats and have 1 free checked bag for each of our 4 family members. After several attempts to make this choice I resigned myself to the basic economy class tickets. I then paid an additional $491 to select my seats, but there was no option to purchase a plan for checked bags. I can only assume it will cost me an additional $400 for 4 checked bags.
A few days later I was contacted by phone to purchase a travel protection plan for $263 with a company called TripMate, and told I could cancel within 10 days for any reason for a full refund. After researching various travel protection plans online I found a more competitive product. I called 9 days later and requested to cancel. I was told I would be issued a full refund and that a manager would also contact me within 24 hours. They either never called or when they did, tried to resale me another product. I filed a grievance with my credit card company and they refunded the $263 to my account, yet on CheapOair's website the charge for the $263 still appears on my booking number. Why?

I booked a hotel room through CheapOair and the listing clearly stated “free cancellation until May 17.” However, when I tried to cancel on May 6, they suddenly wanted to charge me a $33.28 service fee plus a $25 cancellation fee. This is misleading and not transparent. If a booking is advertised as “free cancellation,” customers should not be surprised with hidden fees afterward. Experiences like this seriously damage trust in the platform. I recommend everyone read the terms very carefully and keep screenshots of the booking conditions. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing.

We would not have known you were booking the wrong dates, as this was done all online. We display the flights, dates you have chosen and if you got the wrong ones it could be you selected alternate date because it was a cheaper price. Very sorry for the inconvenience.

I booked a round trip flight with you guys and when I called Frontier last night I was told I only had a one ticket. I had to pay double for the return flight. This had really upset me. I will never use you again.
We have reviewed your reservation and you booked this back in March. The ticket was booked on Spirit on the outbound and you booked Frontier on the return so you never had a roundtrip solely on Frontier airlines. Now that Spirit is no longer flying you have to purchase a new oneway ticket on the outbound. We see you have already been assisted.

I booked a flight for June 20 and I continued checking and paying before I noticed it got booked for the 19th. I immediately got a text saying you give me a different date so I called and was told if I wanted to change you would charge me twenty dollars to cancel and then 84 dollars to book the next day. I feel like you tried to scam me out of over 100 dollars so I said I would keep the mistake flight. I will be skeptical to ever use your service again!

For some reason, the itinerary information provided by CheapO Air is always incomplete. It does not show our connection information or seat assignments. For the 3 of us that are traveling internationally it is crucial to keep an eye on ALL of the information relative to our trip, especially since it is out of our control and frequently changes.

I am searching Flight from North America to Asia on the official site of Cathay Pacific this afternoon and found a suitable itinerary in Business Class at a reasonable price of CA$8220. When I get to the payment don't know why it jumped to CHEAPOAIR... I am thinking if price is right, I don't mind which company I booked with. Then I filled all info and check one more time with the date and flight time and PAID with my credit card. I received email confirmation as normal but when I tried to book seats in advance and found I was assigned seat 58G on my first flight from Toronto to Taipei it is definitely not Business Class.
So I checked my email confirmation and found the itinerary does not indicate any class neither Economy or Business. Lucky, I found it within hours then I called Cheapoair and the staff replied my booking was at high-end Economy class, NOT BUSINESS but not explaining how the cost of CA$8200 was made up and suggest me to upgrade to business class by paying extra CA$8800.
It was a SHOOKING to me, it was definitely a SCAM SCAM SCAM. Naturally, I asked for cancellation and refund as my booking is within 24 hours. Finally, it was cancelled by paying $50 fee, which is also a bad, inappropriate practice. The booking experience had been VERY BAD. I hope travellers to share this real incident happened and stay away from CheapOair.

We booked a flight with Cheapoair and noticed when we received the confirmation that my wife's name was misspelled. We called and asked them the correct the mistake, but they told us that we had to pay $200 to make the correction claiming that it wasn't their agent who made it! Anyone who has talked with their agents know that they speak little English with a heavy accent and have serious problems spelling names. In addition, the background noise is intolerable! We will never book with them again!

I have used CheapOair for many trips in the last few years and have been pretty satisfied. This time it is the complete opposite. I was notified that my return trip was changed but before I could make sure I could be picked up at the different time I tried to select the flight I wanted and the link no longer worked. I tried there email me link, nothing. I tried calling and was told the selections would be emailed to me. Nothing. Now I'm getting ready to leave in a week and have no idea what my return trip is going to be. I have to arrange my pickup and my house/dog sitter but CheapOair is not helping me. I hope they see this and help me make the arrangements. I'm not confident it will happen though

In addition to the ticket charge, I was charged $40 as a platform fee, which is unacceptable, and I must get that refunded. You are in the business of selling tickets, and you are paid commission by airlines, but charging platform fees in front is not legal. Also, it was not disclosed to or clear to the customer at the time of ticket purchase. I paid $40 as the remaining balance of the ticket, and not as platform charges. Also, the company, even when airlines offered baggage, the ticket company started marketing baggage, hiding the actual baggage allowed by airlines!
The fees are disclosed and also mentioned in the breakdown of the purchase, it is also disclosed in our terms and conditions that you acknowledged it when you clicked the box "acknowledged". It is not illegal to charge for our services as many online travel agencies do! Airlines stopped paying commission to agencies over 10 years ago and the fees pay for processing your reservation and maintaining any changes to it until your vacation has been completed and includes 24/7 assistance.

I canceled my flight due to the higher prices after I tried to change the dates of my trip planned to be at the end of August 2026. I called customer service, and it was impossible to communicate with the agent due to the language barrier. Now, I don't have more options, just to receive the credit and fly with the same airline and the worst of everything is this condition "When booking a trip with your airline credit, you will be responsible for any CheapOair service fees, applicable airline change fees of $210.00 per person, and any difference in airfare" basically I waste my money, please be aware before to buy tickets it's not any guarantee.
When purchasing on our website the fare rules are displayed at that time directly beneath the flight that gets chosen before ever submitting for purchase. The booking was done on April 21 online and you have 24 hours to make any changes or cancellation for a refund. The customer called two days later and the ticket was no longer refundable as 24 hours had passed. All airlines, and travel agencies make you pay any fare difference when you go to rebook, that's just standard, Cheapoair fees are mentioned in our terms and conditions that you acknowledged you read when you clicked the acknowledge box. People are a joke. Called to change date of flight that was booked over a month away from. Now and was told I had to pay an additional $390 fee to do so. The original ticket was $285ish. They said it was a change fee and when I told them their change fee was more expensive than booking another flight and that I felt that is what they were doing was told that is what the airline tells them to charge but after contacting the airline and finding out that is false the guy that spoke very little English said that what I was told by the airline was wrong.
He then stated I can go to their site and book another flight and pay again and made no effort to help in any way. I have booked over 200 flights in my life and have seen and been told some crazy stuff but this place takes to cake for screwing people out of money. I told him why would I book another flight with a company that isn't doing anything to help with the flight already booked other than wanting to charge a so-called fee that was more than the original ticket. Assisted before they are a joke and will never book with them and leaving this review in hope that it helps someone else from falling for their joke of a company.

I did not want the "Protection Plan", but it was somehow added without my knowledge, because the item was not listed when I was making the payment. This is a cheating business practice. The detailed breakdown of charges should be itemized for client's final review before confirming the payment.
The reservation was booked online Apr 8 at that time is when the insurance was added. You have 10 days from the purchase date to call and cancel it and request a refund, which has been now 3 weeks. Our apologies for the inconvenience.

Absolute nightmare!!! I reserve Tickets early so they could be cheaper. They booked me with Turkish Airlines after a few weeks of booking the tickets. I found out that we have to change our plans on travel. I called requesting airline credits. I was charged a $220 cancellation fee, and I was told I couldn’t use the airline credits with the airline directly when it came back to rebook the tickets. I knew I had to pay the fair difference, which had gone up, which is fine but they tried to charge me another $135 additional fee plus more taxes and fees.
I also lost the aeroplane seats I had ordered in order to be near my kids as we fly. I asked them if I could rebook directly with Turkish Airlines. I was told I could, however now they are telling me I cannot, and I have to rebook with them, long story short. I asked them to send me the recording of the phone call and they refused. They are rude. Their accent is very thick and you cannot understand and they talk fast, so with someone like me who has extreme anxiety, they can get away with anything. During the phone conversation, the gentleman kept telling me $35 is the airline rebooking fee or his accent was so deep that’s what it sounded like. I even stated it in the phone call, I said $35, he said "Yeah." Now they are telling me that they reviewed the phone call, and the agent had said $135. This is not OK.

Very poor customer service to date. Airline supposedly changed itinerary. However you can’t get through to CheapOair to coordinate: and when they call you can’t understand them or they magically have a bad connection and can’t hear you.

It’s an overcharging price causing by misleading website. I had chosen the round trip dates on the very top of the website as May 14-May 17, however at the bottom has several options that leads to different dates of flight back, that’s why I have to changed my flight date back to May 17 from May 19, 2026. I got charged a round trip ticket of $296.80 plus the changed ticket of $185 while the insurance charged of $41.38. So all of this round trip ticket cost me $523.18!! When I asked customer service Sharon loc: PNQ she said if I want to cancel I will get the refund in 7-10 business days for $481.80 plus $23.18 insurance refund only! And I have to pay another $75 cancellation fee!!! This is very ripped off!!!

I love CheapOair but every time I try to buy the tickets, someone call me from CheapO and try scam me. I have been scammed before, but not this time. I was booking 3 international tickets, and the prices it gave me was very good so I jumped and try to book it, but it did not go through because the price went up by 100 that's when that agent calls me and tells me the process went up 800. I was looking on my screen, that it was only 100, but she was saying 4700, where on my screen it was 4000 and some change, not sure how they can do that. I don't know if they really work for them or what, but very poor experience with the agents.

I had the worst experience ever. The price looked cheaper at first, but the service was absolutely terrible. There was zero customer service, zero communication, and the staff were very rude and disrespectful. I was overcharged and felt completely scammed. When I asked for help changing my ticket, they refused to assist me. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t recommend them at all. Just charge me to cancel my ticket. I booked my tickets not even 20 minutes ago.

Money Hungry CheapOair Service. This is my first experience with CheapOair and it would be the last one. For the flight from CMH to JFK, I ended on paying $2839.55 even after booking three months in advance. When I see the details on receipts, the cost for airfare is $1800 which is expected for 3 people, but rest is for the CheapOair service.
I got two times schedule change notice. On first time, the change schedule won't fit on my schedule so, ask to change the time. For they charged me $540 which was even not my mistake and second time schedule change, I planned to cancel but you never had luck to change from either app or in person. From app, I tried 4-5 times, when I hit cancel, it gives message somewhat like serving high priority, try again in 2-3 days later.
So, I tried calling the real agents (all **), first one transferred call to scheduling team but phone call hung up with same kind of message in voice (this time). The second one told me he is making note of it and get callback in 48 hours from scheduling team. Waited for 3 days (72 hours) but no callback. And the funniest thing is with hopeless trying to see how the app reacts if hit accept the schedule change, and BOOM got CONGRATULATION message that my booking was confirmed. This so hilarious, MONEY HUNGRY CHEAPOAIR.

Why on am I getting this email on my Spirit flight # 1017 on May 3rd when I got a message from Spirit that ALL flights from Fort Myers to Detroit have been cancelled. Spirit told me that I need to book my trip to Detroit on a different airline and that I will be refunded for the complete price of the original flight.
Sorry for the confusion the flight is cancelled and looks like Spirit is refunding their ticket back to your directly.

The additional items are all optional such as trip insurance, bags that you added on Frontier and would have been charged whether this was booked with us, the airline directly or another website as bag fees are mandated by the airlines. We do see that you spoke with an agent regarding your expressed concerns.

A horrible experince. I booked my flight to return from San Juan Puerto Rico on April 16, I was unable to leave on April 16, 2026 so switch the date to April 18. I booked on my cellphone I by accident booked a carry on and checking luggage. I immediately called because of the error and CheapOair and Frontier both refused to refund the money for checking luggage which I don't have one. I explain that it must have been an error. They charge $59 for the baggage all of the add ons. Told them that it was an error because it was hidden fees and the Frontier refused to refund my money. I told them I will not bring a check-in bag because I do not have and a supervisor refused to get on the phone. I will never fly Frontier or book thru CheapOair.
Very sorry for the recent experience you had. As a travel agency we have no control over airline policies, and only Frontier can refund the monies as the bag fee is paid directly to them and not Cheapoair, but we do see that it is nonrefundable.

The flight was change to a different city with no layover time, will never use this browser ever again. There is no other options available apparently, no-one cares. Then when you try to call the CheapOair they transfer you to a general message, and it's a basically a dead end, Do yourself a favor, do not use them.

I purchased flight earlier today. Paid to select seats early. I've called twice so my girlfriend and I can sit next to each other. Next to each other, not behind or in front of each other. I purposely made reservation 5 months in advance to avoid any problems. If this cannot be done now, just refund my money, and I will try a different company to handle our trip. After the airline cancelled my original flight, CheapOair automatically booked me on a different flight on days that did not fit my schedule. Impossible to contact them to decline offer and resolve the issue. Finally had to dispute the charge with my credit card company.
The customers concern has been addressed and the reservation was cancelled with the airline and a refund was processed.

I just booked my flight. I am very disappointed that my flight will cost me$123 more than advertised because that is the cost to bring any suitcase. Who travels without a bag? No one. Yet I was charged $123 to bring my suitcase. I had already paid for the flight, otherwise I would have gone with a different airline.
As a travel agency we have no say in the cost of the bags. The airline that you booked on determines that cost, and we do display the bag rules that there is an additional cost before you purchase the flight. Very sorry for the inconvenience.

After I book my flight online, my ticket was pending, but I receive my booking number when I called back. Asked them, "Why you’re not sending me my ticket." They told me, "The airline didn’t confirm your flight. You have to cancel it and rebook with us with a higher fare". That was a big scam. Never buy again from CheapOair. Be careful people.

I have had a good experience booking flights with CheapOair from previous trips to Asia. The fare to Los Angeles was surprisingly low in my opinion for a last-minute trip to attend an auto race and visit a museum. I trusted CheapOair from other travel sites that show up.

Was really bad the second leg flight from Atlanta to Philadelphia, didn’t ask if wanted drinks and all they was worried about was picking up the trash, how you gonna have trash if you don’t get a drink or a snack, and the stewardess sat in the exit row and stretched out. I bought a ticket from CheapOair for a long flight to Europe and paid for the cancellation Insurance. They said I had 24 hours to cancel, and did not give me the seats. After I paid I got an email where I was able to select the seats...Surprise!! Only the last seats were available and no together with my husband. I called to cancel the flight next day after work. They said because it was 26 hours after buying it I had to pay $500 extra to cancel and get my full refund. I asked for the Insurance I paid in case of canceling it and they did not accepted it and did not refund me the Ins fee. I will NEVER again consider CHEAPAIR or recommended to anybody.

I am happy with the price of my booking but the process is very confusing. When I selected my departure flight, I was given two options: Economy or Basic. The difference between the two was Economy allowed a carry-on and personal item, as well as seat selection; Basic only allowed a personal item and no seat selection. I chose Economy because I wanted to bring a carry-on. For my return flight, I chose Economy as well. When I went to the payment page, under my departure flight baggage information, it indicated only a personal item was included.
When I called the customer support line, things got even more confusing because the prices were higher than I was seeing on my end. Ultimately I booked online and took pictures of each page which defined what was supposed to be included per the advertised flight details, but who knows if the airlines will honor it once I'm there. After booking, there was a final note under my booking confirmation which stated the Frontier "carry-on" is defined as something that will fit under the seat, which in the past has been considered the spot for the personal item. So I am even more confused as to what will be acceptable. I guess all I can do is wait until my flight to find out. To be continued...
The bag policy for Frontier airlines is as follows: You can find the exact information on their website as far as the cost goes. Carry one is 24 inch bag that goes in the over head bin and there is a charge, personal item is like a purse, small back pack, or computer bag so don't get those confused carry on and personal item are two separate types of bags. Basic economy does not allow any bags or seat assignment were economy allows you the option but for a cost.
Frontier Airlines’ baggage policy allows one free personal item (max 14”x18”x8”) that fits under the seat. Carry-on bags (max 24”H x 16”W x 10”D, 35 lbs) and checked bags (max 62 linear inches, 40 lbs) incur fees, which are lowest when pre-purchased during booking. Fees increase closer to departure and at the gate.

DO NOT! I repeat DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are scam artists. We had an emergency come up and I notified them weeks in advance! I was told I would have to pay to get a refund! How much sense does that even make! $200 for cancelling. $61 refund but I have to pay $15 for the $61 what am I missing! I will NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. Airlines will give you a partial refund of about 80% of what you paid. Mind you my ticket was the same price as what I got on here but this company offered Affirm which I needed to use at the time! I wish I would have just gone through the airline because this is hogwash!

I saw on the screen as I was putting in the inappropriate boxes that said to call them and they would help me get a less expensive rate than what was on my phone already. I did that and they disconnected me three times and then the last person that I spoke with stopped responding altogether and I sent multiple messages asking if they were still there. Horrible Customer Service! Honestly if the right had not been what it is I would be using another service! It was disgraceful!

I totally like the CheapOair.com website. Options are plenty and easy to use. Have used several times on domestic and international flights. I hate with a passion the automated calls right after and attempt to upsell additional items. These same options were present when I place my purchase and declined. First it is outsourced to another country and they can barely be understood. Once they started I immediately did I'm not interested. They kept pressuring me to buy the upsells. As I was one the phone I received a notice from my bank for a suspicious attempted charge to my card I had on file with cheapoair.com. It was for some your of baggage protection which I did NOT elect. And it was blocked by my bank. With these types of deceptive tactics to this level I'm seriously considering stopping using cheapoair.com. It wasn't about the $18. It was about the pressure and deception.

I have been a loyal customer of CheapOair for quite some time. However, during my recent flight booking experience, I was extremely disappointed with their practices. The same seats were labeled as “preferred” or “popular” seats and priced higher, even though there was no real difference. When I realized this and tried to cancel, I was told that cancellation was not allowed. I then asked about canceling and rebooking, but was informed that I would have to pay a penalty fee. As a result, I ended up keeping the reservation for those so-called “preferred” seats. On top of that, I was charged an additional $71 for seat selection. Fortunately, after filing a complaint, I was able to get that $71 refunded. Overall, I find these kinds of charges unreasonable and misleading for travelers. Based on this experience, I do not plan to use CheapOair again.

CheapOair lives up to their name. They are cheap and no help at all. If you have credit. Forget about it. They will rob you blind. They refuse to give you back your money or purchase new flights with it. They'll tell you the airlines have a penalty for rebooking. Which will cost you the same amount as if purchasing directly from the airline. I regret using them. I used them for many years but it's getting worst. Now they outright rob you.

The website was okay, but the chat person, Gussie, was not. She basically couldn't help, just told me to check with my bank, which I did right then, but then she said to check with my bank again and to call the next day. I did phone the next day, and the man I spoke to was excellent, but when I tried to leave a review saying that I was satisfied, the call was ended.

Creating a booking is easy and fast but we need human interaction if it comes to customer service over the phone. It takes more time before you get someone to join the phone call. Please, I have been victimized by Saudi Airlines due to a sequence ticket. I lost even my return flight, I wish that CheapOair will take this in count to create a pop message to alert the user to know what is the consequences and having that type of ticket have it will be a risk factor. Whoever arrive late to first flight automatically you can almost lose everything, including your return ticket.

I have been using CheapOAir over the years but I am not quite satisfied with the details provided in my booking confirmation this time. I do not see any details of the no of bags allowed - Carry-On, Personal item and Checked bags in the booking confirmation.
The details are not on the confirmation we email, but was provided to you during the booking process directly beneath the flight details on the availability page, and again once you have selected the flight and the type of are you want. There are links to the policy highlighted. At this time you can log into your reservation on the airline website and add bags if you haven't done so. Very sorry for the inconvenience.

Customer service is nonexistent. No info about "travel protection" until after you buy it, then CRICKETS. Never again using CheapOair. The airlines do not honor any upgrades when a flight is rebooked for whatever reason.

Weather forced my original flight to be cancelled the night before I was to leave. Had to cancel entire booking and re-booked entire trip. Your agent did a fantastic job working with my wife to get everything arranged. Took a little longer than usual, but they got it done. We even got the price difference refunded to us. Delta Air Lines had several issues but nothing due to your service. Thanks for all you did! I will be sending a review to Delta about issues I had with them. But those are probably management issues as the pilot/flight crew/stewardess’s and folks at the gate were great.

Hours After paid, received message Luftansa flight at 8:50pm cancelled, now take United next morning around 8am connecting with Air India in EWR. Received message again, "Air india will be late and you will miss connecting flight from Del to Hyd." Now saying take the 8:50pm luftansa again.. Lost 2 days of work already in this mess.. Cancelled it. You got the booking. Look into it. You will find photos and receipt there as well. Told customer rep to cancel and refund.
We do now that when the airlines have schedule changes it can be an inconvenience. As a travel agency we have no control over the airline operations, but can pass along the options. For cancellation and refund request, that must be done with the agency as request are not accepted through a social media site.

I was so happy and excited when I finally got through with my ticket purchase. All that, turned to anxiety when I realised that my booking was done twice and two different credit cards were charged for two tickets in my name. A complaint was made this morning via telephone and I was told that the credit card ending with ** will be credited for the amount charged within four to seven days. I am still seeing two itineraries for the same dates and destination booked in my name. Please can you give attention to this matter urgently so I can know which booking I should keep? I purchased my airline ticket through CheapoAir based on their advertised commitment to monitor fares and help customers secure the best available price. However, after completing my booking, I received a notification in my email about a significantly lower fare for the same flight. I promptly contacted the CheapoAir support team to address the matter and requested either a refund or a credit for the price difference. Unfortunately, my inquiry was ignored, and no resolution or follow-up was provided. This lack of response and refusal to honor the advertised price-monitoring promise is deeply disappointing and falls short of the service expectations CheapoAir promotes to its customers.

The airline changed my itinerary, and I do not want the proposed alternative. I've asked Cheapoair for a cancellation and a full refund 5 days ago - and I am still waiting for a confirmation. This is terrible service by Cheapoair.
As per the documentation we are waiting for the airline to provide a waiver for a refund on a non refundable ticket. We do apologize that they are taking longer to reply, but it is also due to them being over -whelmed with the middle east situation and getting those people home safely. Here’s a strong, clear, and impactful review you can use: I had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with CheapOair. After selecting our flight and proceeding to payment, their system populated the wrong travel dates after we clicked the payment button—an error on their end, not ours. When we immediately reached out to correct the issue, they refused to take accountability. Instead of fixing their mistake, they charged $75 per person just to cancel, and added additional fees that ended up costing my family $300 extra on a $631 flight to Orlando. That is unacceptable.
The customer service was dismissive, unhelpful, and showed no willingness to resolve a clear system error. There was no accountability, no flexibility, and no concern for the financial burden placed on customers. This company feels like a complete rip-off. I strongly recommend booking directly with airlines or using a more reputable service to avoid hidden fees, poor service, and situations like this. Rating: 1/5 – Would not recommend.

Been trying for days to speak to an agent on the phone and when one actually answers their accent is so bad I can’t understand what’s being said and they get mad and annoyed when asked to repeat themselves. I need to change the dates of my trip and is becoming an utter nightmare to accomplish task. Next time I’m getting my tickets directly from the airline.

I was in the process of booking a flight and all of a sudden it said I was booked and they gave me a booking number. I thought they would take my payment information after that but instead I started getting emails and texts that it was done and I looked in my bank account and they took a bunch of money out of my bank account without me even giving my payment information. That's stealing, along with extra fees that were not told you about upfront. I would suggest never using CheapOair and I have to.
Please contact Cheapoair billing team. Not sure how this is even possible if you didn't enter the credit card, the expiration date and the security code. Our website would not have known any of that, and the billing address for the card.

I was very disappointed in the fact that I was not told that the plane ride and the service fee were separate charges. I was also disappointed that it took so long to get somebody to talk to about it. When I thought I have paid I found out that I hadn’t paid because I got a horrible email that said there was a balance due. Had you told me in advance had CheapOair told me in advance? I would have not been surprised and disappointed.

CheapOair won’t refund even though they have been refunded by the Airline. 2 hours on hold to talk to someone with next to no understanding of the English language. Never ever use CheapOair. I tried to booked a flight through CheapOair on 3/13/2026. When I finalize the booking **, 4:06pm (CST) I was taking second look of alternative flights which may have better schedule. The user interface is very confusing that does not explain the line by line changes to the fees and charges. I ended up with ** not evening sure how I got there with an inflated fill. I call the 6467384933 4:08pm (CST) to revert the change as it was unintentional. My question is either "yes" or "no" if fee can be dropped because it was caused by misleading interface. The representative is very rude and refuse to answer my question. The entire course was just less than 10 mins. Bad technology, bad process, bad people. CheapOair apparently does not have any clue about Consumer Rights.

We are frequent travelers, and this was the worst experience we've ever had trying to cancel a flight wihin minutes of booking. We were unable to cancel online and had to use customer service. We were charged a large fee (per person) for cancelling the flight and then another fee for cancelling the car rental. Traveling is stressful and expensive enough without the hassle and headache of being on hold for hours and then getting charged exorbitant prices to cancel.

Bad customer service, hidden fee charges. Never buy tickets from here. I recently purchased tickets for a flight and when I tried to cancel the flight within the 24 hour period because of all the hidden fees, they said it would cost $95 per person to cancel. Not worth it. Go with another company!

I don’t understand why I’m having such a hard time to cancel this. My return flight was canceled and I was told I could cancel everything and now I’m having a hard time trying to cancel everything. I do not want to have to wait until seven days prior to my departure, which is May 18. I need to cancel it right now and fully refunded.

Your company is a scam. I didn't make the reservation, so why won't you give me a full refund? I just made a reservation - they can't see my credit card and the name on the reservation isn't even mine.
We've reviewed your reservation and there were 2 reservations booked and both have your name on them Rui Tao. One was cancelled and the other you wanted to make changes to it, but the cost was more than you wanted to pay. Travel is for today so if you change your mind you will need to call the travel company to have it changed.

I selected specific dates for a flight and was shown options with flexible dates. I didn't realize this and selected the wrong dates. I contacted them immediately to cancel, and they still charged me a cancellation fee for each of the four tickets. At least I can say that the customer service representative was very kind and tried to find me other tickets, but the options weren't suitable.

Booked a flight on 4th March 2026 for 23rd March 2026. Flight cost 432.99. The airline canceled the flight. I request a refund and spoke to a supervisor Sbil who advised me I will get a full refund but I got a email on 8th March 2026 stating a refund of 412.90. called and spoke with several agents who quoted same amount of 412.90 but after I explained the situation they advised me I will get the refund amount of 20.09. On 10th March I called and spoke with a male agent who advised me the 20.09 was raised to be refunded. However when I called and spoke with another agent by the name of Cassandra she advised me that ONLY 412.90 refund was raised not the 20.09 only on one call a agent stayed on the call and tried to get me a supervisor. My call back number is **.
The refunds are done in two separate transactions because the $412.00 is the airline ticket, and the $20.09 is the non refundable service fee, which as a goodwill gesture is being refunded.

First, I created my itinerary and clicked to book it. Then I was notified that the price had increased by $100. How could it increase in such a small time frame? At this point, I am exhausted for looking for flights, so I pay the extra money. Then within two days, I'm alerted that my flights had changed and I now have 3 stops instead of 2. I specifically sought a 2 stop route as I have extra luggage and wanted to lessen my chances of loosing something. So that's why I give 2 stars out of 5. Not a great experience and I haven't even made it to the airport yet.

The gentleman was very nice that assisted me on getting my ticket. He noticed that I had tried looking at the website multiple times, and ended up calling me and helped me out. The only thing I was not happy about was while I was entering my payment for my ticket, the price had changed and it would not allow me to have it reduced to the price I was already trying to pay for. So I ended up having to pay more for my ticket.

Very disappointing experience. The staff seemed unprepared and unable to provide basic information. Communication was difficult, and the customer service was extremely poor. If you need help or clear answers, don’t expect to get them here. Definitely needs major improvement.

The only concern was when I was trying to book the flight halfway done, I had to open a new window to check out and verify some information, the window on the CheapOair app with my selected flight closed out. So I had to start all over.

CheapOair gave me competitive rates and made my experience relatively easy. The website was very good, but person on phone tried to raise the ticket price. But website did honor the lower ticket price.

Used CheapOair to book a flight, could not book through separate airlines for optimized prices, everything was an added fee, then got past the payment page and had to go back and redo everything because they suddenly could not book my economy flight on the flight that I chose that had room on it (according to their website). Had to go back and book a more expensive flight, convenient. Then had to pay extra again to get my boarding pass? 0/10 would not use again. Horrible experience and with the inability to mix and match flights/added fee to get your boarding pass, it's actively worse than just booking through an airline themselves.

Ridiculously long hold for chat and call. No option for customers to cancel themselves through the portal. A 24-hour cancellation policy with a fee of hundreds. Non-refundable. Be aware. They are extremely difficult to talk to and to get a cancellation, even when they are busy. The manager never responded, even though they promised to call within 2 hours. I had to wait until the next day and keep requesting chat and a call. Never again doing business with them.
