The process was smooth and easy. The price quoted on the search was actually the price I was booked with any of those annoying extra fees being added as you go along. (I'm not talking about the seat fees or luggage fees.) Took less than ten minutes to book the flight and get my confirmation e-mail that I could use to look up and verify directly with the airline.

This is a scam site. They show you one thing on the screen, once booked, they change parameters. I booked/selected a room with two guest one room. When the actual reservation doc came, it says one person. This is scam all over.

This is my 2nd experience with CheapOair.... and this time it's really bad.... Long story short... Few minutes, as I completed the booking, I received a call from a representative of cheapOair who, from the very first minutes, began insistently describing worst-case scenarios if I did not purchase insurance. Even after I asked about the price and stated that I was willing to proceed with it, the conversation continued in an aggressive and intrusive manner, and my attempts to politely interrupt were ignored. As a result, the interaction left a very negative impression and significantly affected my mood; I believe this type of communication reflects poorly on the company... This is how, I do not see any reason to give you more than 1 star.

I made two Air Line reservations with Daniel on 22nd of January 2026 from the reservation department. Then, on the 23rd of January 2026 I called back and asked for him to book another Air Line ticket. I did not want to make the 3rd reservation with a different agent because of Daniel is very courteous, understood what I wanted, explained to me about the rules and policies, benefits of having insurance, etc.

Booked a trip 3 weeks in advance. Prepaid hotel, but had to pay a second time checking in. Getting support from Cheapoair is impossible. I don't enjoy having my vacation spent trying to find out why my planning results in me being charged an extra thousand dollars.

I was charged ESA fees without my permission and when I requested the refund, I was informed that I will lose my seat. The seat selection should not be charged as long as I am not requesting special seat.
The seat fee was $19.95 and a seat was requested on the outbound flight and was done by the customer during the booking process. At this time he has spoken with an agent regarding his expressed concern and this matter has been closed.

Cĥeapoair starts out at a great rate then go to get your tickets and you pay a high rate to sit on the plane and pay for a carryon bag and to get a soda or water and a small snack extra 210 Dollars on Breezeway Airlines one way. Then the way back on way back cost for seats on two different planes was 220. For two people around trip of over a thousand dollars from Charleston SC to Las Vegas NV. I’m very disappointed. I have used Cheapoair for many trips but am losing my trust in them. My husband and my daughter are scheduled to travel together from Dubrovnik to Florence in April with connection in Vienna. We received an email that the flight from Vienna to Florence was canceled and we were offered the option to book a later flight same airline later that day. We accepted the changes for both travelers but only my daughter was moved and not my husband. I have followed up several times with no response except a bot that says someone will be back in touch. I am nervous that they are still not booked in same flight, please fix this. Maybe people shouldn’t rely on keeping a family together for a trip with this company. Can’t recommend you until this gets fixed

Today I got a phone call from one of the supervisors and made it all clear. And tried to help me. So I'm very happy with their service. That at least they listen to their customer. I Called and a long wait line, line dropped while talking with the agent and nobody called. I called again and waited long for the agent, told the agent that I received an email saying "pending service request". So told him to send (email) about my booking reference number. The agent said that while I was on phone with him that he already the email, checked my email and it's still not there. Poor Customer Service.

Reference my booking I was in process of buying baggage, Website somehow charged my card for baggage purchased which I do not want. I raised my problem same time and also sent email for refund of excess baggage purchased but still waiting for answer. Your support will be needed to rectify this problem. Regards.
We have reviewed the booking and see that you credit card was declined for baggage except for 2 legs of the trip. We are not seeing that Cheapoair charged you double. If you booked seats on Frontiers website we would not see that and you would have to speak with them directly.

I had one of your representatives call me on Friday trying to make me pay for seats ($110). I told them I’m prepared to get free seating at check in. She said that I had to buy them in advance, which is a lie and considering to take this further. If your business ethic is based on lying I will take my business elsewhere I future.

The airlines do at times over book the flights, and if you do not have a seat assigned you would have to be placed on a standby list, so that is why we do offer the assistance just in case.

I was impressed. Roma was such a relief. I had booked wrong and she helped me reschedule the right way. So patient and sweet. She walked me through every step from cancelling my first purchase and book the right one. Very attentive and very knowledgeable. It is one thing when you call and don't expect much help. I was tricked about this company. I bought a ticket and paid $586 and the rest is a monthly payment on affirm, when I cancelled my flight on September 22. I paid $186 for cancellation but they didn’t give me my refund because they said it’s not refundable. I know they you cancel it 24 hrs before the flight, I lost $586 & $186

I had the best customer service rep. He made sure I got the best deal on the airline tickets I purchased. He was friendly and very helpful in explaining every detail with me, (we even had a little laugh when I gave the wrong year of my husband's birth). I was giving a total different flight on a different day< AFTER I had paid. Then trying to call CS and unable to understand the man helping me. He charged me to change saying "if you cancelled this booking it would take you many days to get your money". Basically, saying he could do it over the phone. Sure he could after he charged my CC may different fees. Thanks a lot.
We have reviewed the reservation and when you booked online you booked the wrong date. We offer "alternate" date options which are highlighted and do say if you want to save money we can offer you an alternate date, this is what you clicked on. This is mostly for those who want a cheaper price, and are flexible with their travel dates. So when you called to correct it, the date you originally wanted is more expensive so you had to pay the fare for the date you actually needed. We regret the inconvenience to you and will reach out to you if there is anything further we can do.

Booked yesterday and still not received response via email or phone. I am outside USA, in Argentina so US number not working to call. No, 1800 number for me to call. I sent my call back temporary Argentinan phone phone number via BOT chat. No response. Been a day. No human chat available. Bot chat does not allow free typing messages. Only preset messages can be clicked. This does not cover the question. Only options are call back in 3 hours or 24 hours. No option to call back now or any time. It asks for call back number. I sent my Argentinian phone number but no call back received. Been a day. I downloaded the app but is useless to get any response. I'm still not sure if I have a flight today or not.Do I need to book again? If yes, please let me know via email or phone.

I tap on a flight that booked for the wrong date but the same time for the flight that I needed for the next day. Which the 3rd party website says 24 hour cancellation. This FALSE advertisement for which I called to switch it to the correct date. As soon as it popped telling me I booked for a different date than what I put in for what I wanted. Read that again. I was told there will be a cancellation fee. What? Website says 24hr. Cancellation. Not true. Pending on the airline that you book it your cancellation is not free.

Horrible customer service. Go straight to the airline. Always doing extra charges. Fare rules are vague. I would never use them again. Every ad is fake. I would have expected better service, but it's just a 3rd party broker. Chat feature is slow. Always upcharging.

I have used Cheapoair many times and have flown only business class. On this occasion after to go to Dubai and Phuket and return to Canada imagine that I was charged an additional 300.00 for seats. I will never use this service. This company has been a joke. Now I employ over 100 people. Cheapoair is an example of what not to do. Going forward they have lost a great customer and great ambassador for their company.
You can also contact the airline directly who charged for the seat assignment as this is their policy.

This was one of the worst booking experiences I’ve ever had. While the flight booking initially appeared smooth, the real problem started with the refund process. Customer support was unresponsive, policies were unclear, and getting a refund felt nearly impossible. I strongly recommend avoiding this website for flight bookings.

Everything was really, really good. We always use you guys with our travel needs, but this time we are experiencing some trouble with our bags. We clicked on view our booking and verified that we were each allowed to check-in free, but we just got to the airport and we had to pay $600 More because they said our second bag is no longer free. The bad part is unless something happens with our booking we are gonna have to pay another 600 when we come back on the fifth. I wonder if there’s something you guys can do to correct this or if we can get refunded. At least make it so we do not have to pay the 600 coming back again. Please we really do like using you guys for all our travel needs and we have been doing a lot of traveling.
Unfortunately baggage is determined by the airline directly and you have to abide by their policies. If you clicked on their website and you were allowed 1 free bag each, than if everyone had a second bag you are responsible to pay that going, and coming back. The upto date bag policy is listed on the airline website and if you are on multiple airlines you have to go by all the airlines policies. If you think you were over charged by the airline you need to speak with them directly.

I am not happy, my change went from $114 to almost $170. A fee for booking online and a fee for booking through CheapOair that was not disclosed. I will never use them again. If I had known, I would not have booked with them. Expedia is so much better. They let you know about all cost prior to booking.

The agent was thorough and professional. He was very careful to make sure our information was correct and lead us smoothly through the process of buying our tickets. Your website itself would not allow us to two travelers. And also did not recognize that we were seniors. It was good that you had a phone number on the website so that we could call and talk to this skilled agent, since the website was not working properly. (We are a “verified buyer” but I don’t know how to access the receipt. Isn’t the booking number adequate?)

Good service. For CheapOair what do I do with my points. It’s unfair I cannot use them for tickets and baggage. We should have some way to apply discounts, otherwise what is incentive for me to come back to CheapOair. Hope you consider this for my next booking.

DO NOT USE!!! I have used them a number of times with no issue but this time I had to cancel a flight. I had even bought their insurance. My flight was canceled- they charged me a fee!!!! That I had to pay out of pocket for! Then, I did not get a refund, I received a credit. Fine, I travel a lot. I go to use said credit- I am on their website looking at the fares while talking to the agent (They won't let you book online and use your credit. You have to 'call them') and they give me a flight price- looks like what I see online- and I say, "Ok now take my credit off it" and I get 'that is with your credit.' WTF. THEY TRIED TO STEAL MY CREDIT AND WANTED TO CHARGE ME ANOTHER FEE! I called in 3 times- 2 times they promised someone would call me back. I GOT NOTHING.
I ended up calling the airline and telling them what this company was doing and the airline refunded me my money. I will NEVER use them again. Thieves and liars. Oh, and gaslighting!! "Oh, you must he looking at USA pricing"- no I absolutely am not. I'm not stupid. "Oh, you're looking at a different flight level." I will NEVER use them again.

These people are crooks. Don't book through here. They have the habit of changing your after you purchase the date you bought. It just happened to me. Booked a flight for the 16th of December. When I got the confirmation, it was for a different date. I called immediately, had to rebook the flight with a customer representative, was charged again and was told that would get a refund for the first booking. I just got a $9.99 refund when I paid $240 twice for an 1 hour flight, am going to take legal action against these crooks. Don't believe what I say, just look at the previous reviews, some needs to stop these crooks
The customer booked an alternate date option that we offered because it was cheaper. Refunds take a few days, as it is not an immediate refund. The $9.99 he got was a charge by us and we can control when that get's refunded.

Nicol was amazing to work with. He was able to rescue our trip. We had to cancel our existing reservation and rebook for tomorrow. He arranged the cancellation, processed a refund request and advised what our refund would be. He was able to book us on another airline for tomorrow and got us a break on the price by staying 2 more nights at our last stop, He was very kind and patient and most helpful. He answered all my questions and gave great suggestions.

Every time I use this service it's been great, very informative and no problem. So, sadly trip protection is terribly misleading and I will never use it again. It implies that if you need to cancel that you can receive a refund or credit. It lists all the same things separately as if they’re are different reasons….Leading one to believe that they are different circumstances. I’m not rich and it’s so unfair for the airline to do this.

I called a previous ticket, I have been expecting a refund from the portion from Cheapoair for almost a month now and I have not received it. I have made several calls to this and I have been told to be patient but come on. I need my money. United Airlines returned theirs within a week.

Tried to purchase a ticket for $1,125 using affirm for financing. The transaction was suddenly "declined," the ticket was "out of stock." I ended up finding the same ticket again and the price of the ticket jumped to over $1,600. I got a call a few seconds after this happened and was offered help on booking. I accepted the help only to find out the "help" was for booking a more expensive ticket. I check back the same night and the price went back to $1,125 even though on the call I was told that the price hadn't updated to the new one yet. CheapOair is doing a bait and switch scam, DO NOT purchase from them.

It was a very great trip. No problems. Took us to relax and enjoy the beach. Our second true vacation. Price was perfect. Travel times were ok for where we live in Idaho. We are used to small planes. Wish our first leg from Salt Lake to San Diego would have had USB plug ins.

The Customer Agent that I spoke with was very helpful and very concise in his requests for, and responses to, my questions. My contact was initiated by an e-mail concerning an unsuccessful booking, containing instructions to call the Customer Service Team. In order to save a few dollars I booked through this app. Luckily, I reviewed my tickets in plenty of time before the date of my flight because my last name was completely wrong. I used the chat option to request the name change (my last name was placed as my middle name the last name was “English”). After several minutes, I was informed that it would cost me $125 to change the name on the first flight and $75 to change it on the second. Mind you, the flight isn’t until January. The cost to change the names was almost as much as the flight! When I asked if I could cancel the flight I was told it would so no good because they will only issue credit to the name on the ticket. I was told this was a “major change” and that’s why it cost so much. I decided to deal with the airline directly and the issue was resolved in less than 24 hours and for free. I will not be using this service again.

My booking was for a morning flight on December 3rd. I was informed that the flight was canceled and that I would be rebooked on an evening flight. I was told that my seat fee would be refunded, and I was promised an aisle seat. However, I was randomly assigned a middle seat instead, despite clearly explaining that I have a frozen shoulder and that it is very uncomfortable for me to sit in the middle. I have made numerous calls to customer service, but unfortunately, they have been in vain. In May 2025 I cancelled a flight because of my father's death. I was charged a $118 cancelation fee for 2 tickets. I received a credit from the airline, and was told by Cheap'Oair that I would need to book thru them to receive the airline credit. The letter said there would be $0 in fees to do so. However, a week ago I booked flights using the airline credit and was charged $100 per ticket to book new flights. They claimed it was changing the original booking, but I cancelled the original booking. The agent lied to me during the booking and never told me that $200 of the cost was fees.

Please keep in mind that CheapOair is reasonable if absolutely nothing goes wrong. In my case I got really sick on a family trip with a horrible respiratory illness. Our upgraded tickets were purchased initially for $1400 (not cheap and not to first class) but I had to get home. So we asked CheapOair for assistance and received none. We had to buy two new tickets for $1100 on the same airline (American) and were cramped into horrible isolated seats. The customer service rep did not care. No energy to argue. Should we have purchased insurance probably. However, this is a rare situation and you would hope for a little more helpful assistance from CheapOair. Be aware of the robotic responses from their customer service department. No empathy, compassion or assistance. They got their cut for reselling tickets. BTW I had Covid.

I am totally frustrated that I cannot see my whole trip on your website. I am traveling DFW-LHR-JNB but I cannot find the arrival and departure times in LHR so that I can arrange to meet my brother in the airport.!!!! VERIFIED BOOKING #*--I haven't determined how to do -5 stars for this company. We booked 3 flights to Japan with them at same time. The experience was beyond terrible for all of us. We purchased with extra payment option to make changes on departures or arrival--they now say all changes needed to be made before initial leg of flight and unchangeable after initial flight--return changes???? They made mistake and misspelled name wrong with airlines and 1 ticket was cancelled. Cost me additional $ 1200+ to purchase another ticket and they may reimburse but wife left and they couldn't get me on another flight for 9 days for which I paid extra. CheapoAir said we cancelled flight but we didn't as Cheapo made the name mistake.
Biggest problem was insufficient time in Tokyo to transfer from international to domestic flight. 1 hour 20 min not possible to go through IMMIGRATION and CUSTOMS and then take bus to domestic terminal--had extreme difficulty with all 3 flights. Tried to change return flight for son due to family issues but won't allow even though we purchased insurance. All legs of flights for all of us have been a disaster. I tried to rationalize with agent and manager at Cheapo about issues with minimal results. Terrible company. Watch for extra useless charges.

Very bad experience, selling me supreme support package for 200$ I did not ask and refused to cancel it along with ESA FEE, PLUS SELLING ME A TICKET FOR CHILD WHO IS 1 YEAR OLD. I was told that manager will call me after the customer support refused to cancel ticket all together or cancel parts I did not buy. However, manager never calls me. CheapOair has been my go to for a flight over a decade, however, things has changed. Very bad customer services overall. Not satisfied at all.

No support, there are hidden prices that comes later when passengers go for check-in, asked for further payments, and also my flight was cancelled. Just one hour before flying, we needed to be aware of all charges on the time of booking so we could compare the charges with other airlines.

Worst airline ever, don't travel with them, they should teach their customer service agent on how to talk and behave. The customer service agent was constantly cutting me off on the call and very dis and she was very and he was very disrespectful. I accidentally booked my flight a day after my parents flight and my parents have some medical issues and they are not changing my flight according to my parents' flight date and sadly my parents have to live without me and there would be no one to accompany them. This could have been avoided if they would have changed my flight date and let me go with my best and it's just a matter of fact that these airlines customer service Helpline are worse than the hospitals.
We have reviewed the reservation and see that you did call to make changes after 24 hours from the booking date, therefore the new fare to travel within 24 hours of your original travel date included a change penalty and the new fare totalling $665.00 which you denied to pay, therefore the flight could not be changed.

The guy name is Wade. He was great and helpful, patience. He called me back when he said he was. And waited for me to get all the information. He provided suggestions on the tickets and helped me find a cheaper flights for my mom who is in Haiti even though I did pay for it immediately.

I searched a lot of airlines to find a cheap flight and Cheapo Air lived up to its name. I could only afford to pay a certain amount and Cheapo Air came through. I am very grateful for this. Also, the customer service representative that I spoke to was very courteous and answered all the questions to my satisfaction. I called to cancel my flight and asked if I will get a credit. Since I'm not sure yet what day I will travel. I called the customer service thru 6467384933. He said yes I can cancel and get credit but there will be a $50 cancellation fee. I changed my mind and decided that I will go online and find a different day. He said I have to book with him. There is no way that I can change online. But I insisted that I will try. He was so pushy and insisting that I book with him instead because his price is better than online price. I hang up.

The experience was horrible. They charged me an extra fee that I never asked for. Then fought with me about a refund of the fee. Went to cancel my trip because they tried charging me extra, so they then charged a cancelation fee. Waiting for a call.
We have reviewed the reservation and see that you booked this online, and at that time you added the insurance, the seats, when you clicked on it that was the authorization to charge for the products. We also have a service fee and that was shown to you during the booking process of $28.06 and also it is listed in the terms and conditions you agreed to pay. At this time you have been refunded for insurance, the service fee and seat charges and the tickets. Any further assistance you will need to speak with an agent at 1-646-738-4820.

I have a ticket through CheapOair that’s connecting to my other flights. They keep changing my flight and will not refund my money. I would recommend not flying with this company. When your flight is changed, they will only change your flight and not let you cancel and get a refund. I will never fly with this company again. This company definitely doesn’t seem to care about its customers. So I will no longer do any business with them. It even said you could except a new flight or cancel and get a refund which they said they won’t do.

The agent that worked with me had the patience of a saint. He took his time and really made sure that I understood the booking and my options for getting all the things I needed to have a successful flight experience. Just visited with customer service trying to get help with my flight I purchased to Japan. They changed my flight from Austin TX to San Francisco by way of Seattle. they turned a direct flight into a extra 10 hours of lay over in Seattle in middle of the night. The flight I was on was still able to get on but now the cost was 8500.00 for two added to my cost already. Never trust CheapoAir, I have used them many of times. I asked for assistance and what I get is, overcharge and treated like dirt, on their whim.
We have reviewed the reservation and the airline that you booked on is Alaska airlines and Japan airlines. Cheapoair we are the travel agency and have no control over the airlines schedule changes which occurred in September. Once you accepted the schedule there are no "free" changes offered. So when you called to rebook the cost that was quoted was $800.00 a person so I am not seeing $8500.00, please reach out to the sales office again for further assistance.

I was about to visit my son on his birthday at Norfolk NAVY base in Virginia, Nov 16-19. Two weeks before the fly, he contact me, they transfer him to Maine, for 6 months, for security duty. I contacted CheapOair to see what I can do with my ticket. No one was able to help, because it was the most cheapest ticket, and I didn't purchase insurance. Be happy with my $329, this was a last time I was using cheapoair.
We have reviewed the reservation and the fare rules. You purchased a BASIC ECONOMY fare which is the lowest fare, but also the most restrictive. We did provide the fare rules during the booking process, also we automatically provide the next upgraded fare with less restrictions which allows you to make changes, cancel and hold a future credit for a year but it cost more. Unfortunately we are the travel agency and have to follow the fare rules put in place by the airline you booked on.

Couldn’t fly back home because CheapOair misprinted my name. They couldn’t modify it even 2 hours before flight. A simple change could from changing name from Fnu to my real name would turn this review better but this was my first time bad experience.

My experience with Cheapoair.com was not just disappointing — it was genuinely upsetting. When I booked my tickets, I hadn’t selected any seats yet. But shortly after, a Cheapoair agent called me and urgently pushed me to choose seats immediately, warning me that my children and I might not be seated together if I didn’t act right away.
As a parent traveling with minors, that terrified me. No one wants to imagine their children sitting alone on a flight with strangers. Because of that fear, I made a quick decision and ended up paying $600 just to ensure we would stay together. Only later did I learn that the airline would have provided free seat assignments — especially for families — and that this pressure was completely unnecessary. I felt misled, manipulated, and taken advantage of during a vulnerable moment.
When I called Cheapoair to explain what happened, hoping they would understand and refund the charges, they coldly told me it was “too late” because I didn’t contact them within 24 hours of the reservation. It didn’t matter to them that their own agent pressured me into buying something I didn’t need. I walked away feeling powerless, frustrated, and honestly heartbroken that a company would use a parent’s fear like this to make money. I will never use Cheapoair again, and I hope no other family has to go through this kind of emotional and financial stress.

Getting to my destination was fine, no trouble. Coming back was a problem. You sent me an email about checking in to get my boarding pass. The link took me to the KLM website, which prompted me that I couldn't check in on their website for the flight and directed me to KM Malta Airlines website. After numerous failed attempts to check in with a confirmation number, flight number, etc., I finally gave up and called Support for help. I was then informed it is not possible to check in online, for some reason. I'm disappointed that I wasted two hours of my day trying to check-in when it's apparently not possible to do so with this airline. I tried using the booking confirmation number (**), the flight number (KL3398), and the e-ticket (**, with and without the /25). I'm doing a thumbs-up for Recommend because the first part was easy.

My sister and I have been using CheapOair for about three years. We have been very happy with the service. Never had a problem with our flights. We have always let the airline pick our seats. This time we received a call with the offer of sitting in front seats on all our flights. We paid $100 for trip from MBS to Miami. I can't tell you how much this will improve our trip, it's very hard for my sister and I to navigate to our seat when we are in the middle or back of plane. With our luggage and carry-on, and having walking problems, we thank you for the offers and the great customer service.

The service I received was outstanding. I have been using Expedia, but the help I received through CheapOair was much better. I will be back for future airline business. When I began booking my flights online, I stopped when I was selecting seats because I had to book different flights for different family members and I thought it best to use the toll-free number to make sure all of the arrangements would work. I was not disappointed. Not only did they provide better service, but they also reduced some of the fees.

I was charged a cancellation penalty within 24 hours of booking, under the pretext that the airline had charged it. First, they made it so difficult to cancel. I had to chat with an agent after clicking cancel and confirming cancellation. The agent then goes on to ask multiple questions about the reason for cancellation, trying to convince me not to cancel. And when that didn't work, they stated that the airline would charge a cancellation fee.

It was fast and the price was right. When I access the website, I could have access directly to what I was looking for and I was able to book my car really fast. It was even faster than writing this review. Hopefully I will be able to pick up the car I just booked and that there won't be no bad surprises. In the past I had rented a car. It says mileage free and when I went to pick it up I had to pay per miles. Hopefully I won't have to do this bad experience again so the service was good and fast with CheapOAir booking.

This was my second time booking through CheapOair, and I regret it more than ever. They make promises they don’t keep. I paid extra for a flexible flight option and other add-ons, but when I needed to make a change, none of it was honored. Their so-called flexibility is a complete illusion. I contacted them 20 days before my return flight to reschedule, and not only were they rude, but they also tried to manipulate the situation. One agent claimed, “I’m on the phone with the airline you’re flying with, and they’ve approved a discount on your flight change fee,” only to quote me $380—a ridiculous amount. It felt like a scripted gimmick designed to pressure me into paying.
There are many more frustrating details I don’t have time to share, but here’s the bottom line: book directly through the airline. You’ll avoid the stress, the deception, and the middleman tactics that CheapOair thrives on. I will never book with them again, and I actively discourage friends and family from using their service. If I hear someone considering it, I make it a point to warn them.

Too many options at the end. I was given an $11 credit, but it wasn't added when I checked out. This is a good app, but it can be a little daunting for a senior. I like that I can check different airports and was given the option to have travel insurance. I think the basic ticket should allow you at least an under-the-seat bag. Most of us can't afford to buy clothes when we get where we're going. I also think it's ludicrous how nitpicky you've gotten with charging for everything. The upside is, at least I have the option. Bring back the food. I'm traveling all day and don't have enough time between flights to get something to eat. I can't afford to buy your food because of all of the upgrades.

Very, very, very difficult website. This morning we began planning and I wrote a simple summary of dates and times that we were considering. This evening I went back to the same website and everything had changed. I felt I was in another world. I called the phone line and was asked if flight prices were going up and the woman said “every day”. I was able to get a new set of flights and confirm. This all took all day and I am now exhausted. Horrible!

Everything is likely to be okay, except for the seat selection fee, which is initially listed as $0.00 but automatically increases to $19.99 once a seat is selected. I really don’t understand why the system does this. Please have the system corrected if there is an issue with it.

Booked a flight thru them from Toronto to Barcelona for what l thought was a good price, Went to do my on-line check-in only to find out l have to pay $176 for each checked bag. I was NEVER informed of this charge at time of booking, nor is this mentioned in any of my paperwork. What a shock. So much for a reasonable fare. Buyer beware.
We have reviewed the reservation and this was booked online and not with an agent over the phone. The bag policy is listed directly beneath the flight details highlighted in orange, and again once the flight has been chosen and displayed on the second booking page. You have to click on the link to review the type of bag you will be taking as the bag cost are charged separately because we do know if you will have bags, or carry on or etc. There is also over weight bag charges as well. I’ve had the worst experience with CheapOair and want to warn others not to trust them. At first, everything looks fine when you’re booking—the website seems professional, and the prices appear reasonable—but once they have your money, their customer service completely disappears. I tried reaching them several times for help with my booking, and it was a total nightmare.
The phone numbers barely connect, emails go unanswered, and when you finally get someone on the line, they’re rude and completely unhelpful. Each time I called, I got a different answer, and no one took responsibility for anything. It honestly feels like they only care about getting your payment and nothing else. If you ever run into an issue, you’re on your own. I would strongly advise everyone to stay away from CheapOair—they are not trustworthy and have the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. I keep warning people! Believe me!

Austin helped straighten out an issue with my ticket. The flight is not until November, but I decided to secure seats as I have done in the past on American. I had been charged for selecting seats for a flight in November. Not knowing that I would be charged, I called and he handled my request to refund the amount charged. He was great!

I’ve had one of the worst experiences of my life dealing with CheapOair, and I feel it’s important to warn others before they make the same mistake. Do not trust this company! They make everything look smooth and reliable at the time of purchase, but once they have your money, the reality becomes completely different. Their so-called “customer service” is practically non-existent, and it feels like their only real goal is to get you to buy a ticket—after that, you’re completely on your own.
When I first came across CheapOair, I was drawn to their seemingly competitive prices and user-friendly website. The booking process looked simple enough, and the confirmation email arrived quickly, which gave me a false sense of confidence. Unfortunately, that was where the good part ended. Not long after purchasing my ticket, I needed assistance with a simple change—something that most reputable travel companies would handle easily. That’s when the nightmare began.
Trying to reach their customer service was exhausting. The phone numbers either didn’t connect or kept me on hold indefinitely. When I finally managed to speak to someone, the representative was unhelpful and clearly not trained to solve problems. Each time I called back, I received contradictory information, and at one point, I was even told to “call the airline directly,” which completely defeats the purpose of booking through a travel agency. Emails went unanswered for days, and when responses did arrive, they were generic copy-and-paste messages that showed no real intention of helping.
What makes this experience even worse is their complete lack of accountability. They make promises they don’t keep, and they refuse to take responsibility for mistakes or miscommunication. It honestly felt like I had been scammed. Once your payment goes through, they simply stop caring. I’ve dealt with many online travel companies before, but none have been this unprofessional or careless. In short, CheapOair is not a company you can rely on. Their business model seems to focus on getting sales rather than providing genuine service. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, stay far away from them. Learn from my experience—do not trust CheapOair!

This was the first time I used CheapOair and it was the worst experience ever. I will never ever use this company again. I had to threaten them was seeking legal advice because they charged me $125 for a fee and nobody I mean, nobody could explain to me what the $125 fee and after speaking to about a dozen people, nobody could tell me what it was for and then all of a sudden I threaten them with seeking legal advice, demanding names, and numbers and addresses to send to my attorney and then all of a sudden I’m getting my $125 back so needless to say, I will never use this company nor would I ever ever recommend them. It was the worst experience ever.
We are not finding a reservation booked with us, the email you gave did not locate a booking, and you did not provide the confirmation number. For assistance you need to speak with the billing department for they can tell you what the charges are.

Took my money and changed my flight date without my authorization. I had a date that I need to be somewhere and you took that option for me without my authority. I like something giving back to me some kind of remittance. You took precious time away from me.
We see that you have spoken with an agent regarding your expressed concerns. Looks like we offered you an alternate flight that was cheaper, but it did have a different date and you chose the 17th and must have overlooked the date which was highlighted. This option is for those who maybe flexible if the original dates they want are more expensive.

Disappointed that CheapOair would not refund me my checked baggage fee since I was no longer bringing checked bags. I booked with CheapOair and not the airline directly. The suggestion to check with the airline was absurd since I did not pay them.
Very sorry for the recent experience. When you secured the bags on our website, that payment goes directly to the airline even though it was done through our website, and the airline charged your card and they are the ones that got paid, so you have to request it through them, but most bags fees they do not refund.

Very poor business practices and terrible customer service. I canceled my trip less than 24 hours after booking a trip that was over a month away and was charged over $103. I have been a loyal customer of CheapOair for the last 10+ years and I will never book through this website again. The agent I spoke to on the phone was rude and unhelpful and the rules regarding trip cancellations are shady as the website says you can cancel and receive a refund if this is done within 24 hours of booking. Really disappointed.

I booked 2 round trip tickets from Jacksonville Florida to Indianapolis Indiana on American Airlines. The cost of each ticket was $276.00. I was charged an additional $494.00 for seats that I never selected and never approved the charges on my credit card. I found out only when I received my credit card bill. I called them many times and they referred me to the airline. I called American Airlines and they said CheapOair is notorious for this type of activity. I was told if I disputed the charges I would stand the chance of losing my entire ticket. This type of deception is uncalled for. I plan to pursue this situation further.

Do not use this site. They talked me into buying travel insurance and now I need it and they can’t help me or do anything about it. Made me wait in hold for over 30 min to tell me to pound sand. Insurance site even asks if this is a travel agent as they can most definitely do this for their customer but refuse to do so.
We've reviewed the reservation and see that you booked this online and at that time insurance was added. Also, the insurance is for medical emergencies, lost and damaged bags, and delayed flights, it is not for a change of plans or date changes as your request was. We provide the entire PDF file for your review to go through it, and if it is not what you need, you had 10 days from the purchase date to cancel it for a refund. Our apologies for the inconvenience.

I believe CheapOair is one of the best in customer service. Everyone does a great job at CheapOair but I would thank the gentleman that sold me a ticket to Washington DCA. He was extremely helpful and patient and above all a professional customer service representative. I can’t say it enough how grateful I was meeting the representative that helped me but, all is I pray he gets the promotions he deserves. He’s such a wonderful person after I told him that I missed my flight in the morning he got concerned and scratched everywhere to find me a cheap flight ticket to DCA. Thanks my man.

Worst company out there for airfare and car rentals! When I went to rent my car, they tried to trick me into buying their insurance. That’s why they were so cheap. They had me use Ace rental car out of LaGuardia. Worst rental car company there is. Told me I had to bring my declaration page for my own insurance to be able to use it. I’ve been renting cars and traveling for years and never had anybody tell me I needed to bring that. Just a way to trick you into buying their insurance. When I told him no, and that I wasn’t gonna rent their car I went over to Enterprise and rented. They kept my money anyway. I got no car and no money back! Two worst companies out there. Do not use CheapOair whatever you do and never use Ace car rental!
Very sorry for the recent experience, We have reviewed the reservation and this was booked online and not with an agent. We offer many other car companies to choose from, and the insurance is strictly insurance sold by the car company and their policies, and not Cheapoair.

My whole trip including seat selection was booked and paid for through Affirm. Now 3 days later, CheapoAir is sending me messages that they are trying to charge me AGAIN for seat selection and that my card has been declined. So I get on CheapoAir Chat and start talking to someone and never hear from them again.

I have been traveling with cheapair airlines since 2018. I only use CheapOair airline for international and domestic flight. I’ve been overseas over eight times using this travel agency. I like their professionalism and their economical price. For my last minute flights, and my flights months in advance this agency is very reliable and flexible. I’m a professional and it fits my lifestyle perfectly.

I got into a chatting with a customer service rep by the name of Adelmo to request a cancellation. He is extremely slow. I told him I wanted to cancel. He goes " I will check that for you." 20 mins had passed away...I was still waiting and asked 'why is this taking so long? He goes "it takes time to look for cancellation policy of the airline." I advised him to go to the airline website and read the policy. He goes... There is no policy, what the hell is it? Having this lazy guy working for your company is a definitely minus for your company !!

We worked with Norman (I believe that is his name, my memory at 80 yrs isn't perfect anymore). I had tried to book my flights on line myself, but received a message that my flights were no longer available. I was ready to give up then because all of the other flights were to pricy (I guess I took too long to book and our tickets were sold out from under us!). It was then that I received the call from Norman offering to find affordable flights for us. He was very helpful and patient and was able to find and book very reasonable tickets for us by using different airlines for our Departure from and Return to PHOENIX. We are so pleased with the service we received, and will be happy yo use the services of CheapOair the next time we fly!
