Had no problems searching flights and booking was easy with good directions. I will use this site again the fact that the site has feedback such as how do you want your boarding pass, information on luggage and items allowed and not allowed and a phone number to call if I need information.
You think you are getting a great deal. You found the tickets you want and you go ahead and book them, great! NOT. They could not confirm our flights, I called the company 6 hours after purchasing the tickets ($2000) and I was told their company was working on it. Give them 2 hours. This same sequences of events occurred 3 more times over 48 hours…. THEN after my final call they tell me they couldn’t book the tickets, and asked if I was open to going different days. I informed that that these dates are very specific. They finally told me they going flight but we wouldn’t be leaving at our original time of 6:30am - they only had flights available at 8:45pm. I reluctantly agreed thinking I had no choice.
2 hours later they still hadn’t managed to book that flight. I requested they return my money as I would going to book directly through the airline. They told me it was take 7-14 business days to refund the $2000 they charged my card for airline tickets they could never get in the first place and they do not care, they just kept passing the blame to other departments. Please please be warned before booking anything with this company. Especially if you have saved just enough for the trip!
The confirmation of the airline should be faster, to guarantee the purchase of the air ticket immediately, also the cancellations should be faster and have more customer service centers, on the other hand you have good offers of air tickets.
Thank you for the help and suggestion on my friend's luggage to be protected on their travel on June 2023. The total amount for the insurance of baggage has been lowered with the help of the CheapOair representative. Thank you for the team of CheapOair.
Everything as expected, could be a little better geared towards the Business traveler. I did not see the area to add the frequent flyer of airline this time for this flight, or maybe I missed it. Too many confusing add Ons that are not very clear especially insurance types. Baggage claim for reimbursement after 96 hours.
This company double booked me 2 flights by mistake and charged me for both And assured me that they only booked me one flight. I called Cheapoair on Feb 28th because I found a flight on their site that I was interested in online and it would not let me put in my infant's information for the flight. I called and the rep said took all of my info including credit card info and tried to book the flight. She came back on the line several times and in the end said she was unable to book the flight that maybe it was no longer available.
This flight was only $901 for my family and I and it was with Play airlines. The cheapoair rep then proceeded to book us on an Aer Lingus flight that was for the same dates and to and from NYC to Dublin, but this flight was much more expensive for $2,700. And so afterward I noticed all of these emails from play airlines saying that we have a flight with them. I contacted cheapoair and the reps there assured me that I did not have a flight with Play, ONLY Aer Lingus. I explained that I was even charged by both airlines. Cheapoair assured me that that was not the case and that if I was showing a charge not to worry it would drop off because I didn’t actually have a flight with them. And so I called Play airline to get the charge taken off but they said that I did have a flight with them and that they could see that I personally did not book it they could see that the third party booked it.
I have been going back and forth since then with cheapoair to make this right and they insist that they did not book the flight even tho Play airlines said otherwise. I have screenshots that I was on with the cheapoair rep when the Play flight was booked and I have them in chat saying that the 3rd party booked it. How can you double book and double charge someone and not fix it right away?!
I paid for a seat from JFK to Madrid and I was given a seat from Pittsburgh to JFK. A one-hour flight instead of a 7-hour flight. Trying to get this resolved developed to hours on hold and eventually I was told to take it up with the airline. I am still dealing with it. I have been a customer of Cheapo for 25 years and have never encountered such buck-passing and bad service.
They had told me that the baggage would have to be added afterwards and that they would send me an e-mail concerning that within 24 hours. I did not receive that e-mail, so I went to my trip - Volaris and it did not contain any baggage except a personal item. But they said I could add luggage now, so I did. So I think I no longer need additional assistance. Thank you.

I booked a flight JFK - LIS for July 2023 (#**) and got a Iberia Airline confirmation email (# **) on March 1, 2023. I even confirmed the booking on Iberia website next day. On March 4th, you sent me an email that there was an issue and I missed after so many emails we received every day. Today I got an email cancelling the flight. I called and you offered $250 more flight or change the return day.
You claimed an issue with my credit card (easy to say!) but if I really had an issue, the airline confirmation would not go through and indeed there is no charges in my credit card. I truly believe Iberia system was not working properly (because I tried to buy straight with them but I was unsuccessful) and spilled on you. Now I am stuck with a non-refundable separated ticket from Memphis to NYC and no flight to Lisbon. Great, isn't it?
Making the reservation selection was fast and simple. This was less confusing than the avanca site. I was able to easily select my seat preference. Information about other charges was clear. Information about carry-on and checked bags was clearly explained.
The experience has been positive and easy so far. No fuzz. Easy comparison with available dates and alternative choices. No hassle logging in via different computer. We shall see if the customer service is as good when I need assistance. Hope for the best.
I booked on 2/16/23 on CheapOair flying from San Diego to Vietnam, and when I went to the San Diego Airport on 3/05/23 to check in, the Hawaiian airline ticket agent tried for 2 hours until the checking closed but could not issue the boarding pass for connect and I think that because my middle name was not in my itinerary, so I suggested me to call CheapOair to rebook the flight to add my middle name.
I called to rebook, and the agent rebooked and charged me $500 on top my $1140 of my original fare, and she told me she can't add my middle name but if I call the Asiana airline to add that. And after booking, I called the airline, and they told me CheapOair was the one to book my ticket, so CheapOair has to take care that, and the airline can't, and said CheapOair should call the airline not me calling the airline. So I have been calling at least 10 times (all the calls when to India), and to ask them to help me to add my middle name or give my $500 back if they can't do that but they either refuse to give my $500 or hung up their phones even that the rebooking was only 10 hours ago and the fly is 2 days later. I would never ever book through them again, and highly recommend you the same thing. I can't believe this is the way they treat the customers.
I bought ticket from Tokyo to Yangon from 6th March. I got the mail from the agent that the airline has changed the travelling date. So that I try to change my new date flight by online but the chatting is not work at all, it repeat saying the information I sent is wrong. So I have to call to the agent by phone, first the ** man answer, it's really hard to understand his accent and I try to say I want to change my date, he said I can change only one day before and after the actual flight date, otherwise, I will be charged, and he keep me hold on the line and another girl answer, she said there is no flight on that day. The flight is on 9th March and it will cost 350 dollars. I said I cannot pay for it because the airline change the flight. And she transfer again to another guy, I have to hold the line again and this guy again take along time to enquire, finally, he said the airline will call me directly.
I am waiting the call but it never coming. So I try to call the airline directly and tell them all the story. The airline help me and charge me nothing and change my flight date easily. This agent does not take any responsibility and need to contact overseas phone call these day, I can't believe it. The trip.com is much much better, my husband ticket can change easily online with no charge. This overseas call take me over half an hour and sure to cost me a lot of money. I am not willingly to buy from this agent again.
I had very bad experience with this agency once while ago and after they kept calling me to fix it, I told to myself, everybody needs second chance and again I bought another ticket to come to Turkey and after I bought the ticket another agent called me. Said that to me, "If you pay another $40.00, it means you will get high priority from our agency and in case if you want to change the date of return we will get not to better but also get the best best option to change of return from our agency."
Unfortunately when the times come and I wanted to change the date of return, not only I did not get the best but also I've the worst option, this agency as I've got from my first experience and from my first sight all are lie, liar, this CheapOair agency making money dishonestly and unfairly from you to fill their own pockets, it's better to buy ticket from the airline directly instead to buy from them. THE funny thing it was I already paid about $1300.00 for the ticket and I just want to change the date, the agent says to me, "You pay another $900.00 dollar to change the date."
This was the best and best option after they charge 40.00 for the stupid priority. I can buy another ticket for $900.00, and I do not understand this nonsense of $900.00. What it is exactly, is it the penalty of changing the date, or what it is exactly, usually airline has penalty very cheaper than this stupid and nonsense of 900.00. Anyways, I change my mind. Some people do not deserve second chance and I will go to buy another ticket directly from airline. And when I come back to United States, I will report this agency to attorney general and I am going file complain against them. I do not like them. Do not buy ticket from them. So far it has been good, We will let you know how it is when we have went to our destination and back home. We are scheduled to go to a conference. We booked a car and our flight thru Sun Country and I we got our confirmation thru CheapOair.
CheapOair has refunded me the price difference after I contacted CheapOair for the price difference at CheapOair's website during 24 hours. I am satisfied with the action CheapOair has taken and will consider to buy air ticket from CheapOair in the future.
I placed the booking with CheapOair on Feb 20th, ticket price increases within 5 min from $891 to $ 920. The next morning on Feb 21st, I found the same ticket same flight and same schedule's price is $ 891 again on CheapOAir and another company offers even lower price. I feel that CheapOair overcharge customers based how long is the the time customer look at the ticket while the airline charged the same ticket with same prices from Feb 20th to Feb 21st. I don't like the feeling to be cheated or played.
So far so good. Was easy to book but haven’t taken the trip yet. Will see when the time comes. Not really happy with all the junk fees added but it seems all sites do that. Hopefully I can download my tickets to my phone when the time comes.

I decided to go with and chose CheapOair due to price and the service that they provide. Out of all the others that I could have chosen, CheapOair was by far the most reasonable and by far having the best prices.
Customer service was excellent in assisting me in changing my itinerary as my previous choice the layover times were too short. The rep called and explained the other option which I accepted and then shortly the confirmation email was sent.
I had an awesome experience using this service, it was quick and easy to use, it made picking a flight quite simple, I plan on using this service to book my next trip, and recommend it to my friends and family.
It was so easy to make a reservation - I didn't understand about the seat arrangements, so therefore I will check my seat arrangements when I arrive for my flight - but the rest of me making my reservation was not a problem....Keep up the good work!

Flight schedule convenient short layover. Unlike my previous flight long layover and undergo custom inspection. Almost missed my connecting flight to San Diego on Feb 8, 2023. I have been using your services for a long time. I only wish that any credits we have would not expire. Maybe put into a account where we can accumulate them. I understand that the pandemic took us all by surprise. Yet here we are trying to get back on track.
When I receive my booking confirmation and I went online on your website, I was not able to select my seat for the Iberia and Finnair flights. The American flight I was able to select my seats. I have contacted your team several times on trying to get my seat selection and still have not been able to do so. I sent in a complaint to your customer service team and have not received any feed back.
Recently I have had a booking with CheapOair (# **) and I have same issue: the service of selecting seats. In reality, CheapOair staff can't select seats? In both booking, I can see only the last flight within 4 flights (of a booking) have the seat number. The other flights (3 flights of a booking-because every booking have 4 flights, 2 for depart and 2 for return). The bad thing is: when CheapOair intervene to select seats, I can't go onto Airline website to choose by myself, even the airline let customer do it for free... In the booking ** (from Seattle to Vietnam) and the booking **, the same issue. I just wonder, if CheapOair intervene and the thing become more hassle like that, why keep charging the service Seat selection???
This has been resolved.
Did not see there was a cost for carry on baggage until everything was done. Not happy to have to pay all this money to carrying my own luggage. I'm 65 and haven't traveled in a while so don't know if this is a normal thing now. Soon I'll have to pay for the air I breathe on the plane.
Our apologies for the inconvenience, but yes that is the norm for travel and has been for several years. Airlines do charge for seats, and baggage in most cases. We did provide the baggage policy for your flights during the booking process, in case you wanted to reconsider you could back out of the booking before entering credit card information, or submitting for purchase.
