    We found out my wife's grandmother was on her death bed in Florida and we purchased a plane ticket from Allegiant on a Friday night to take off from Syracuse the following morning. We purchased the insurance in case we needed to cancel the flight. We found out my wife's grandmother passed away late Friday night. We called the number Allegiant gave us for the flight insurance. We could not speak to an actual person and the voice recording said we needed to provide a death certificate. After her body was brought back to NY from Florida and we had the services we were able to obtain a copy of the death certificate. We submitted needed docs and were denied because they did not receive the paperwork before the flight. Spend the extra $50 and stay away from this horrible, pathetic excuse for an airline!

    Today was so sad especially coming from who you depend for all your plans. I'm so disappointed it was my 1st time flying w my mom and bf and when we arrived from the minute we arrived we received attitude. Starting with I tried telling you but you have an attitude. Instead to proceed to charge me person was confused kept asking for phone tickets with a horrible accent, when he has the prints right in front of him. He didn't charge us the bags let us get passed security and while we approach gate a girl tells us again we need to pay for the carry on. I had my purse and a small luggage. When we approach the exact same guy who greeted us at front and was rude was back there too and rude to us again. And he tells the girl, "No let them go to Dora," like Dora had a malicious plan. He had a bad accent that was not clear, bad baggage communication.

    Dora was to check us in plane and tells us again you need to pay for luggage. I never understood why first guy kept not charging us and let us go thru. The lady Dora said, "I was told from the moment you walked in you had attitude." My mom said, "How did you know?" She yelled at my mom and said, "You're not traveling. Step aside." I was so anguished and freaked out I didn't know what to do. She told me, "Your bf and your mom are not traveling, you can if you want." After my bf was already cleared and in the plane sitting after supposedly he gave them attitude... She goes to the plane to remove him and told him I said he was going to act bad like we are in preschool. She tore my dreams and plans, made me spend a lot of money and to top it off after I left I called to see if I could get a refund, was told I had attitude and they couldn't refund me. Apparently the worker left a nasty comment on top of how we got treated me.

    I'm very sad and disappointed in humans. Don't bother with the airline if you can go somewhere else. They lost a client. My bf said, "Fine if you can't refund at least issue me a voucher to use another time." And they said no. A big fat no. Wow. I'm literally crying. The photo was before that nasty interaction w the airline. After they charge a pretty penny is not like it was free. Of it was Dora's money and his minion with a bad accent.

      I had a very disappointing experience flying with Allegiant, especially as a parent traveling with two kids. The flight attendant we dealt with was rude and unhelpful, which made the whole situation more stressful than it needed to be. Traveling with children is already difficult, and a little patience or basic courtesy would have made a big difference.

      What frustrated me the most was paying extra for a carry-on bag, only to feel like there was no real benefit to doing so. If customers are paying for carry-ons, there should be a fair and organized process that actually prioritizes those bags over non-paid items. Otherwise, it just feels like another fee with no value behind it. Overall, this was an inconvenient and disappointing experience for our family. I expected a basic level of customer service and organization, and Allegiant did not deliver.

      Terrible. Was upcharged $400 in bag fees because they messed up what I selected on my ticket order, and all they could do was give me a $150 travel voucher to upcharge me on the next flight.

      We have been a long time card holder member and love Allegiant Air. Anytime there is an issue whether it’s cancelling or changing a flight they are amazing. Their personalized care in customer service for Allegiant cardholders members such as us are rare in today’s flight industry. If you fly Allegiant get the card become a member. You will not be disappointed!

      Always fly Allegiant to Florida. Attendants are hit or miss, mostly a miss!!!! Extremely poor attitudes, short and abrupt with answers. Never accommodating. Plane is filthy! Wish we had another choice!!!!

      We paid for the bundle to get assigned seats. We had those seats when we checked in online for boarding. The Allegiant staff did not ask us to move seats. They made us. When I told them we paid for certain seats, the flight attendant rudely said "enough is enough" and made us move. They are refusing to refund me the amount we paid for the bundle to get assigned seats. Our family was split up.

      I must say the best experience I’ve had and please show this review to the employees! I flew out of Allentown pa to Sarasota, Florida and from the people at the counter to the sky caps, the plane people, and the baggage people, best flight to and from. Your employees are wonderful, the plane ride excellent and you people did an excellent job! Loved my trip and your airline much better than Delta, JetBlue, or United.

      We're supposed to leave Cedar Rapids at 720 pm on 2/23/2026 to Fort Lauderdale and we didn't board until 8 because they were late. And then they had us wait on plane saying there's something wrong with plane and mechanic would be just a little bit. Another hour after that, they tell us to get off the plane because mechanic still not there. It's 1031pm and we were told we can't leave and come back in, because airport is closed. However we just watched a damn Casey's Pizza go in the gate. So I guess they are eating as we are stuck here with everything closed and still waiting.

      We recently made an honest mistake by booking a trip in Feb instead of March. After holding over an hour on the phone and finally speaking to someone, we were unable to get very far and would have lost out on a lot of money. We drove to Clearwater (PIE) and actually went to the counter where we had the pleasure of dealing with John **. He made a phone call for us without hesitation, and we were able to cancel the Feb trip and book the March trip! He was wonderful to work with! Thank you John for your help and making it so easy for us!!
