I needed 2 front tires and didn't have much time. I was in and out and the guys were very friendly and professional; it didn't seem like they were trying to sell me something I didn't need. I've got nothing but good things to say about my experience. The guys really helped me out of a jam.

I went into Cole muffler to fix a loud muffler. The staff were honest and repaired the exhaust with some clamps and I was out the door in less than an hour. They could have easily said I needed a new muffler and pipes and I would have wasted a lot of money. I always go to Cole's for brake and exhaust work. Thank you.

I purchased 4 tires and had them installed on my vehicle. Base on my previous experience with Jason and his team, I was very confident that They would again surpass my expectations yet again... Great job Jason!!

I own two vehicles which I bring to Mavis for oil changes, tires, brakes etc. Their prices are good as well as the service. The management and staff are professional and courteous. I highly recommend the Deer Park (Commack Rd) location.

7/29/2015 9:30 AM. Appointment was made to patch, not plug (specified) a Michelin tire that had a thread embedded screw. Tire (off car) was brought to Mavis store (Greenwich Riverside and had to be left for 4 hours). (Job should take 20 minutes at most). When wheel picked up, obvious plug was used with nipple protruding from thread. Call to service manager Omar ** resulted in his saying it was "patched". Obvious lie. We asked for email confirmation and got one supporting plugging, no admission of misrepresentation, no apology, no responsibility taken. In fact he claimed that he did not speak with my wife and I can "think what I like". Find an honest tire dealer somewhere else.

I had my car fixed at Mavis Tire on Monday July 26. My car needed a lot of front end work. I was so pleased with how informative the front desk folks were (especially Tony). He provided me with options and worked to get me the best price. My car drives like a dream (no kidding). I'm grateful for the professionalism of Mavis as well as their expertise.

I was extremely pleased with the quality of service and genuine concern for the well-being of my car and my safety while driving it. I came in thinking I needed to buy new tires. The attendant informed that I didn't need new tires, just air and took the time to show me how to tell when they need replacing. The other attendant who was pumping the air showed me a nail that was sticking into one of my tires causing the air to leak. They repaired my tire, put air in the rest of them and I ended up spending way less than I thought I would. The honesty was refreshing and the service was great. I feel like I can trust them with my car and not to charge me for unnecessary work... especially as a first time car owner.

Steve the manager and Aubrey the technician was very courteous professional and very good at what they do! So much so I'm bringing my good car... my 1988 300 zx turbo tomorrow to work on it because they're trustworthy.

Went in to Mavis to see what the noise was in the right front wheel. We were helped by Chris and John. They were great. Had the suggested work done. Drove off and had to call within 5 mins. The same noise was there. We had asked for Mavis to drive the car first and they didn't. Called and John told us to come in the next day and he would take care of it. We went in early the next day, John wasn't there, and asked Mavis to again drive the car. They refused. But was told it must be the motor mounts and we don't work with motor. Asked again to drive the car. Still they refused. So now we are off to another garage.

Customer service with speed of service is just outstanding! I have brought many family vehicles to the Huntington location through the years, all ranging in condition, year of purchase, and body type. They have proven time and time again to be trustworthy and reliable. I have never been refused service, even without an appt, no matter what the time we arrived. Once at closing in poor weather conditions, they took the time to look at my car and do whatever they could to help me to get back on the road safely. They didn't even charge me for the minor repair to my tire and it was well after closing by the time I left! Who does that?

The Mgr. Mike was very knowledgeable and friendly. He assessed the parts needed and spoke to Dave who performed a very professional installation of the parts. The service was quick and the quality was first rate. Thanks Guys.

I had to get my brake pads and back rotors changed. I was allowed to bring my own pads and rotors and it didn't cost me too much for them to put it on.

We received 4 new tires and we were in and out quickly.

I think they was fair and did a good job. The price was fair. They were very polite.

Installed new catalytic converter, muffler and tailpipes. Truck was completed as estimated. Price was reasonable. Joe and Mike were very courteous. I've used Cole Muffler in the past for custom fabrication of exhaust systems for both of my classic cars and will continue to use them in the future. Terry is an artist when it comes to pipe fabrication. Very satisfied.

I called Dunn Tire and Tire World to price compare. They both quoted me $26.99 for the same job. You guys did for $14.99. I appreciate the fair price and it will keep me coming back.

I had a huge problem with my brakes, and was over a 100 miles from my home. The crew at Milford, PA are awesome. I Brought in my rental car on a Sunday morning, they explained everything to me and replaced the rotors and pads quickly and for a very reasonable rate.

I went to Mavis tires on Sunday morning, and they were busy. The customer service rep. was very nice, and he accepted to do the oil change without any problem. He was reliable regards to the time, and the technician was so professional regards to work ethic and he kept the vehicle clean. He used the seat cover plus the nylon mat, so he protected the car from any grease if he has in his work uniform. Please keep the hard work, and your work ethic.

I needed tires to pass inspection. After being told by a dealer that I needed to spend over $600 for all four tires, as well as other things that I didn't need, Mavis put on two tires and only charged me a fraction of what the dealer wanted to charge. Thanks Mavis!!

The most horrible experience ever! Both my husband and I took our vehicles in on Father's Day. We were the very first customers! We were told both vehicles would take no more than 2 hours. 6 1/2 hours later and many "you need these parts" added to our bill we complained and were discounted 20.00 each! Also never given the refund information on buying all 4 tires. My car tire reading was: front tire air pressure was 40/41, backs were 26/29 now I just spent 1700.00 and my tire pressure should be perfect in all tires at 34! My alignment was so bad that I literally had to take it the next day to get it redone!

From the moment we walked in and we're pleasantly greeted, to the time we picked our car up, the service was above and beyond. From Jim at the desk to the nice gentleman who serviced our vehicle, we were updated and clearly informed of all that went on. We would rate a 12 out of 10. Superiority in the customer service department. Will definitely return and recommend.

By my recommendation it shows that I was very pleased with every aspect of the service and the professional attitude of everyone I dealt with at the facility.

I had a very nice experience dealing with a manager named Vlad. My car was taken in right away. I had all 4 brakes replaced and inspection done within less than an hour. Staff is very polite. I will come back and recommend my friends and relatives to use this shop. Next door there is a mall where you can do your shopping while waiting and have some food. All in all it was great!

Great tire price, even beating out other Mavis store in area on same tire. Able to bring the car down immediately for tires. Was not aware at the time that I also needed back brakes and rotors. Offered to personally bring me in back and show me how rotors were chipping away. Best experience was the customer service I received from all employees. Would not hesitate to bring car there again.

After going to different shops in the Watertown area, I find that Coles provides consistently good quality of work at fair prices. I have never seen them try to oversell services. The managers and mechanics are knowledgeable and will go out of their way to satisfy. It is hard to find a shop like this. Maybe that's the reason they are always busy. Unfortunately, they do not take appointments. It is service on a first come first serve basis.

They were great. Kept me informed of the whole prices - gave me a fair price from the get go. They explained to me other work I may need in the near future but not a necessity right now but in the near future, and also gave me a quote for that work to be done.

I have had nothing but excellent and reliable service from Mavis whenever I need anything done to my car, from new tires to oil changes to NY State inspections, to brake jobs. The service dept. is reliable and prompt, and very accurate when they estimate the time to complete the job, as I always wait for my car since I live a distance away.

The right rear tire on my Yukon XL had a very slow leak and needed air about every other week. The dealer was unable to find it, even with the wheel submersed in water. I was on my way to grocery shop and the tire pressure light came on again. I have dealt with this Mavis shop many times over the years and was just going to add air to the tire. I was pleasantly surprised to see they were less busy than usual and were able to take me in right away. They found a fine steel wire in the tread and repaired it at what I considered to be a very reasonable price, $20.50 including tax. I highly recommend the Mavis tire shop at 1598 State Street in Schenectady.

Went to Mavis in Canandaigua with no appointment. Had a tire that was losing air slowly. I also needed new tires in the very near future. Explained to them what was going on. They offered to take a look at it. They asked me what brand of tire I was looking for and I explained to them I really didn't know. With the vehicle I was driving they recommend some to me and showed me a tire. Explained all of the benefits of that tire. It was the best knowledge based service I have received in a long time. They had to order in the tires for my car but had them the next day. Worked around my work schedule and got me in. I have to say there is a noticeable difference in the way the car drives. There is a lot less road noise and it seems to drive nice. I didn't know tires could make such a difference but clearly they do. I would highly recommend this location to anyone that is in need of tires.

The gentlemen that handled me from the management staff to the ones that place the tires on my car did so in the most courteous and professional manner. Although I have friends that can work on my car at a more inexpensive price, I will always come to Mavis because of their professionalism and expertise.

Very friendly and fast. I just bought 2 new tires for my car and needed a place to mount them. I stopped in to see if I needed an appointment. They did it right then and I was on my way in less than 30 mins. I also noted that the rest of their prices for services were very reasonable. Great experience.

Very pleasant experience with the Mavis crew in Rocky Point NY. I took my wife's car there for brake pads not too long ago and thought I'd bring my car for the same thing as well. Once they started, they saw I needed additional work done. The staff got in touch with me right away and explained what they saw, what needed to be done and why. They also showed me the replaced part at the store, (e-brake shoe) and why it needed replacing. All without fleecing me on an already expensive shoe and rotor job on all four wheels.

I would like to express the exceptional service I received with Mavis. I've always had excellent services from the multiple Mavis locations I've been to and my recent visit to the new location on Route 82 in Hopewell Junction did not disappoint. Chet and Chris were amazing to deal with. They were honest, sincere, patient, and very knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the issues and highlighted other service that need to be complete. I never felt pushed to take any new service recommendation, but was given detailed explanation as to why it was recommended. Overall, the turn around time to get the work done was excellent and I felt the overall pricing was extremely competitive. Exceptional service and Mavis (especially Route 82, Hopewell Junction) has a very long term customer going forward.

I went in for an oil change and Randal and Anthony answered a lot of my question about my car I just got. It's a 1992 Oldsmobile cutlass supreme S. Gave me a regiment on what it would cost me to get it fix and running right. They were very honest and pleasant about it. You don't find too many mechanics that tell you the truth.

I think that Mavis Tires on Rte. 9W in W. Haverstraw is a WONDERFUL tire company. They always do an amazing and QUICK service on my tires. Car is always done the same day no matter what time I bring it in. I am so impressed with this location.

The store manager, Sal and one of the mechanics, Tony were courteous and very professional. They showed me what needed to be done and explained why. They answered all my questions. I received exceptional service for a very reasonable price. A competitor had quoted a 50% higher price. I won't go anywhere else.

I thought I only needed rear brake pads replaced because it sounded like metal scraping. All wheels were checked, manager came out and told me the problem and took me in to show and explain the issue to me and told me what needed to be done.

I very rarely put my classic vehicle in the hands of anybody. ** the tech who worked on the car and ** and ** were extremely professional and courteous and caring. A marvelous experience. When I seen the torque wrench come out to tighten the nuts on the wheels and not just an air gun it blew me away.

** at Rocky Point always take care of me when I walk in. I work 50 miles from home and the guys know I depend on my car to get to work. I get oiled changed every 6 weeks and the guys get me in and out fast. I currently have 4 cars one being a classic 1974 mg midget and the guys have done my oil, tires, and helped out when they can. I do a lot of my own repairs but the guys pick up when I can't and always willing to help. Great bunch of guys and a great shop. Thanks ** for all the help.

I use Haverstraw Mavis very often and I am extremely happy with the service they provide, I am a cautious customer and Mavis is definitely the auto shop you want to go to for your repairs. Unlike other shops Mavis prices are standard, other places make up prices as they go along, plus they never try to sell you something you don't need and they are not pushy. I usually deal with the Service Manager ** - he is very polite, honest and a pleasure to deal with.

Mavis in Tarrytown is the best. They are honest and fair. I have not had an issue yet. ** and his crew are great. I couldn't ask for anyone better. They work with you and look out for you. As a woman, bringing your car to a shop, they have your best interest in mind. They do what they say they're going to do and they don't cut corners! That alone brings repeat customers. They have one in me.

This Mavis is fairly new. The facility is new and modern with a very nice area for small children. The staff I dealt with ** were professional and personable car and service professionals. The wait was as expected and the pricing was beyond exceptional. I had contacted Firestone for a belt change. Firestone quoted me $130 and they will not allow you to buy your part and bring it in for installation. Mavis allowed me to buy the part for installation. Total cost $70. Labor for installation on struts, $125 for both (provided the struts at $135 dollars each). Firestone, $900, must have them purchase from the dealer. Saved more than $600 going to Mavis. Very knowledgeable car care professionals. I highly recommend.

I went in to buy new shocks and ended up buying a 4 front and back for $670. Told him all I wanted is a smooth ride car to bumpy. Drove car and car felt worst than ever. Went back and told him why it's riding so hard and he said "they high performance shocks and high speed turns." I told him "why would you give me that if all I wanted was a smooth ride?" and he reply "these are the shocks we sell." SMH. So now my car rides like crap and am out $670.

I've been going to Mavis, located at 500 Hillside Ave. New Hyde Park, NY 11040 for many years. In all those years, I've never had a problem with my car after they've repaired it. Reliability is essential to me. Not long ago, I had a problem with the dome light in my car. It would not turn off. I took it to Mavis, and they were completely honest with me. Apparently the back door on the passenger side wasn't shut properly. I've found them to be very honest as well as reliable, on several occasions. As a woman who drives alone, I am very conscious of the maintenance on my car. I feel confident when I bring my car there for servicing. I have recommended them to a number of people over the years and will continue to do so. I also purchase my tires there. I'm very appreciative of their policy to stand behind their products and service. I had gotten a flat tire, and when I brought it in, they stood behind their warranty. I highly recommend them.

I have no complaints. I recommend Mavis to anyone who needs that type of service. They are very curious.

I am so pleased with the customer service I receive at Mavis Tire in Rhinebeck N.Y. I take my cars there because I am very comfortable with the quality of service I receive each and every time. The guys there are very courteous and happy to answer any question I might have. I would be happy to drive a much further distance to get quality service and good customer service. Lucky for me I don't have to!

Every time I am there no matter how big or small the job, I'm treated the same as everyone else. The service is quick and just. The people there are beyond concerned for your comfort with your time there and care to your car.

I changed tires and Mavis gave me price better than internet shops like Tire Rack and TireBuyer and no shipping charges. My wheels were not equipped with tire monitoring sensors so I bought and brought 4 new TPM sensors. Mavis shop at Vails Gate did not charge me a penny for the installation and programming of TPMS at all. When I returned next day and said that seems to me two tires do not keep air pressure well, Mavis with no arguing in a very short time fixed it.

Brought my car in to have Mavis check the tires as I thought I had a slow leak. The manager ** made sure to let me know it would take a few hours and said he would call when the car was done. I got a call about an hour later from ** and he let me know the issue and asked what I wanted to do. He wasn't pushy and let me make the decision. I felt very confident with what he had to say and did get my car back in less time. I would highly recommend Mavis!!

This is the only place I will bring my vehicle to. I have been to several different garages in the past. Always to be treated as if I didn't know anything. Once I started going to this Mavis I have always with the exception of 1 time (which was immediately addressed) been treated with the utmost respect. Had my wipers replaced, they didn't take the plastic off. A few hours after, l was caught in a rain storm. Had to pull over in the pouring rain to remove the plastic. They never gave me price quotes on the tires. I just assumed they were giving me the one on sale, they gave me the most expensive.

My teenage son hit a pothole and destroyed one of the tires on my wife's new car. The Mt. Kisco Mavis team got a matching tire ordered, had the vehicle on the rack and ready to go while the tire was en route. In and out amazingly fast once the tire was delivered from their warehouse. A perfect match, and great customer service. There is a reason why I continue to use them even after I have moved out of the area.

I brought my son's car in because of a noise it was making. I left the car, after they inspected the car, I was told we needed bushings, new shocks, front end alignment for a total of $1099. I said I'd have to think about it and took it to a local mechanic… It was the ball joint, that was it, $450. If I did the $1099 in repairs at Mavis, which did not include what the actual problem was, I would have put my young "new" driver son in danger. I had my son's car fixed by the local mechanic, the noise is gone, the car is fixed without the unnecessary repairs Mavis wanted to do. Not sure if this was lack of experience on the mechanics end, or that fact that I am a woman and won't know better… and just have it fixed. I will never have a car repaired without a second opinion. I think everyone should do that, feeling this place is no different than going to a Midas or a Meineke (always selling you things you don't really need but telling you that you need it).

My older car was serviced by Mavis Tire/Cole Muffler in Watertown, NY yesterday May 28, 2015. I am completely satisfied with the service they provided, the time it took to complete, and cost of the repairs. They could have easily done more work but were honest saying that it didn't need to be done at this time. It is service like that will draw me back and make me recommend them to friends and family.

I have had awesome service with the Webster, NY store. I have brought to them the 3 vehicles I have had and they were always very quick, knowledgeable and fairly priced. I wouldn't ever bring my vehicles anywhere else for service. They are always accepting walk ins and try to get you in as soon as possible, and it is always quick.
