I had a great experience with the staff @ Mavis Tire in Hatfield. They are very courteous and friendly. The staff members that assisted me were willing to go the extra mile to answer my questions and provide excellent service.

Had a warped rotor from previous work at another garage. My wife called this service station to see if would repair, and Charles the manager was very courteous and accommodating. Next day, I had brand new rotors and brakes are fantastic. Very pleased and definitely recommend.

Dropped car off at 10:00 am and was told it would be ready before 4:00 pm. We got a call around 12:30 pm that the car was ready. The new tire was mounted and the others rotated quickly and without any issues. The price was good and the service super quick. Even though it looked like they were very busy.

Placed online order for 4 new continental thru Contact Tires with Mavis. Had them installed today 11/18 at the South Amboy location. Techs were very professional. Excellent work done... Perfect balancing, installation plus alignment. Car rides like brand new. Will always recommend.

We have purchased tires, brakes and just about everything through Mavis. So far, I'm very satisfied with them. I used to go to Sunrise Highway in Bay Shore, then I moved to the one on Montauk Highway. I get a lot of customer service there and their manager was awesome.

THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT ALONG WITH THE GREAT PRICE I RECEIVED TO FIX MY TRUCK. That alone gained you guys a new customer. My truck had a rattling noise which the tech found immediately and the price to fix the issue was less than I expected. Keep up the good work.

State and emissions inspection went without a hitch. I went online to make an appointment late Fri eve for an appointment the next day (Sat) but was only able to reserve a time for Sun (they are open on Sun nice!). I showed up on Sat and they had no problem taking me right then. Within less than an hour, I was done. No "surprise. "You need x, y, z work done to pass inspection." The wait was pleasant in a large, clean waiting room with a clean bathroom. The manager and workers were easy going and accommodating. I highly recommend them.

Another great experience at Mavis. Took me in last minute and got me out in a timely manner. No pressure sales, and solid recommendations on what should be done. Will be back to have my wife's car serviced next. Thanks to Pat the service manager.

I've been to Mavis Tires before and they do a pretty good job. Their quotes also seem to be reasonable. I had one real issue with my truck that I just haven't been able to get diagnosed that I'm still trying to deal with. But other than that, things are pretty good. I'd recommend them.

I went to your shop, because of the excellent work and customer service I always receive from the store manager and all of his service crew. He keeps your store clean and always in pleasing conditions. They always give me and I feel that all of the customers the very best service of any repair center in town.

Went in for car inspection. When I arrived I was greeted like two young men with "good morning and how may I help you?" I went in for inspection of my vehicle. I was there less than 20 minutes. I was extremely surprised. I would like to thank both of those young men for their good customer service.

I generally do all my auto mechanic work and I am well versed with vehicles. I know how much parts cost and how long a project takes. I have found that Mavis does an excellent job and charges a fair price (I have had 3 vehicles worked on at Mavis). I would highly recommend them. Also, they do not oversell or push products or services. The entire team are friendly and professional.

I'm a new customer to this shop, and James made sure to answer all my questions and make me comfortable with the service process. While there for tires he let me know my brake pads were very low (which I did already know), and he didn't try to sell me new rotors when I didn't need them (as did the last shop I was at). Obviously, I didn't have that service done there, and will certainly not be going back there. James gave me an up-front vehicle evaluation, and an honest price quote. The staff at Mavis is courteous. They addressed my needs expeditiously. I am grateful this location is in close proximity to my home. Only wish Mavis would have loyalty perks for their patrons who use their services like a percentage off after so many oil changes or even better, a free oil change after a number of visits. On another note, coffee machines may be nice in the wait area.

As usual, inspection time came around. On my way home from church I noticed Mavis Tires open, so I stopped in. It was great day there as usual!!! I was in and out!!! Mavis never lets me down. Clean, comfy and timely!!!

With the warranties on tires and brakes a person can't go wrong. Also the employees know what they are doing and work on your vehicle as if it was their car. My last visit was very good - pleasant conversation about the different brand of tires and the mileage you can get out of it. I learned a lot.

Stay away, save your time, your car, and your money. My kid and I could be dead because of them. I took my car for an alignment and when I was on my way home I noticed the car is not turning left. I took it back to them and they told me I brought it in like that. Just wow.

I've been going to Mavis Tire for about 10 years now. They have a combination of good prices, convenience, and selection. I recently did a regular maintenance such as oil change and tire rotation. Their service is good and I've been happy. When I bought tires there, they've steered me in the right direction. They used to push things a little too much. They always wanted to add brake fluid but more recently, they don't do that so much.

Easy appt and was allowed to come a bit earlier as well. Service was friendly, professional and all done within a timely manner. Very grateful to Justin who provided assist with locating a coupon I couldn't find. Thanks much again.

I have been working with a local tire company that's just down the road from Mavis and didn't want to deal with them anymore because the manager and service have changed so I gave Mavis a try. The crew there was excellent and the manager was great. The service was good. I've taken three different cars there. I brought my son's car there and we put a set of four tires on, a tie rod, alignment, ball joints and lower A-frames. My daughter has an 04 Focus that's been there too.

The East Windsor staff has got to be the nicest group of men. Very nice, very friendly, and willing to explain what is wrong with your vehicle. Adam runs an A+++ store! I definitely will recommend this location as I've been a customer at different locations for years.

My experience with Mavis the past three years have been fabulous. The service has always been great and the waiting time fair especially at my Rockville Mavis center with Mgr Tom **! When it comes to tire service at Mavis, the tires are of great quality and perform well. Auto service and inspection are also great and left me with the satisfaction to recommend others to come to Mavis for excellent service and savings.

Everyone that I dealt with was friendly, courteous, and helpful. The service recommendations, costs, and options were clearly explained. The cost of the parts and labor is generally lower than Mavis' competitors. I have used Mavis for services on both of my vehicles over the past few years. I have no complaints regarding the cost or quality of their work. With one exception (which was due to the delivery of the wrong part), the work has always been completed by the original time estimate. I am very pleased with the cost and quality of the work, as well as the top notch customer service that I have come to expect from Mavis.

Not only did it take less time than was quoted but the service was beyond reproach!!! From the young man that did the work to the personable manager!!! There just isn't enough good things I could say, other than, this is the ONLY place I will allow to work on my car and I recommend them to friends and strangers, alike!! I went to Mavis Tire on Main St in Madison NJ because my front left brake was making a whining/squealing sound. I told the customer service guy I was bringing it in for replacement brake pads. When I returned to the shop (quick service, too), they told me that the brake pads were fine but the rotor was misaligned. If they had replaced the brake pads as requested, I would have been none the wiser. (Could have been scammed, in other words, and WAS NOT). AND, they fixed the issue for no charge. Honest service. Awesome.

I brought my car in for a tire because I popped a curb a while back. I do business with Bill regularly & he mentioned that I would need to replace all of the tires soon - I gave them the OK to do all four and it was done in an hour. The car rides perfect!

The customer service at this Islandia location was outstanding. Shawn, the service manager, was polite and professional and explained a lot to me. They were able to replace my brake pads and rotors in a very timely manner on very short notice. The price was fair and inclusive of parts and labor so I felt secure leaving my car there that I wouldn't get ripped off. I highly recommend this location of Mavis!

I visited Mavis Discount Tires three times. First time I went there was to put air in my tire. One of the employees came out and offered to put the air in the tire for me. I was surprised because that hasn't happened before, to me anyway. The second and third time was to repair one of my tires. Received the same courtesy as before and fast service. Mavis Tire is local and purchasing from them is convenient. There's a couple of tire suppliers around here and Mavis is the easiest way to get my tire serviced or changed. I've dealt with them a couple of times when I bought a tire and had one repaired, and they were always great. I never had a problem and the guys were very pleasant and very respectable. I made an appointment, they took care of what I needed and I went on my merry way.

We do all our service at Mavis Tire. They are reasonable compared to other tire suppliers and the quality of the tires that we've purchased from them has been good so far. Their reps are very well and very attentive to a lot of the issues we have. The manager there is very well up to par too. He’s particularly keen to asking what needs to be done there. I went in for a brake problem. At the repair shop Mike had my car moved into the shop. When they located the problem he came and got me to show what the problem was. After the repair before I paid them he told me to take the car out for a drive to make sure it was repaired correctly. And it was, he gave me a lot of information as to why I had a brake problem. From now on I will go back to them.

I checked around and have seen that Mavis Tire had the best prices and service going. I bought tires, oil changes, and had inspections. They do great jobs. They put new struts in the A frame, and did quite a bit of work for us. The place is nice and clean, the representatives were professional, and the service was very good.

I'd purchased a new set of tires earlier this year (2016) and also got a warranty on the set. The tires held up very well until I noticed my tire pressure light appear a couple of times; indicating that there was low pressure on the tires. After putting air in them the light came right back on. So off to Mavis I went to find out how I can resolve this issue. Turns out there was a hole in the tire wall on the rear driver side. The service guy recommended a new tire. I waited for about an hour; my car was ready and I can't say how happy I was to get my Prius back working so that I could resume my hectic life. Thanks guys. I was very pleased with the service provided by Mavis Discount Tire in Syracuse, New York. I just got a flat tire about 30 minutes prior to bringing the car in. I called AAA and they referred me to Mavis Tire and gave me their address. I used my GPS to find your store location. Luckily it was within a mile of where I was located. I was there by 9:05 and my car was finished by 10am... very impressive!!! Thank you Mavis Tire.

A zealous bunch. This Mavis in particular sticks out to me because they explain what your car damage can potentially come from and how to prevent it within the realm of what they are fixing of course. Also very patient and give discounts where they can.

Randall and Bob were very helpful. Tire was leaking air slowly. They found the leak quickly and patched right away. They checked brakes and found that they needed grease. I was told the were dry and if taken care of they would last a lot longer. Thank you very much.

Everybody was great start to finish, stayed patient with me when I missed my appointments and continued to work with me to find a time that I can come in and not have a long wait. I purchased two new Tires for my 2006 Honda Accord. Your associate Tommy was very helpful in explaining the pricing and insurance program on the tires. I was very satisfied with your product and the waiting time and was impressed with the overall service and professionalism of all your employees.

I'm not really pleased with Mavis. The first time I went to them, I just took my car to another shop. They told me that what was supposed to be repaired properly was not. Mavis tried to issue me a partial refund. And then the next time my fiancé take my car to them, they didn't tell us that the battery needed to be recharged. We’ve been in Mavis for more than an hour trying to figure out what the issue was ourselves. On top of that, the car was supposed to be getting ready for inspection. They told us that they checked the car out but they didn't because there's a power steering leak and they hadn't put transmission fluid in it, even though I paid for the transmission flush. That's the most recent. I will never go to another Mavis ever again. My mom won't be using them and anybody I know that I've told about it won’t go to them. I would rather pay the extra money and get better quality.

I love coming to get my car serviced here because the work is always done right. Mike is great to work with. He always tries to find me the best price and makes sure my car is done on time.

I had flat tire earlier in the week and I took my flat tire for fixing to STS. The service person at front desk was very courteous. He collected my information, gave price estimation and promised to call when the tire was fixed. And the call came around promised time so went back. They installed back the tire just in few moments and off I was gone. Everything was courteous, reasonably priced and done in promised time.

We were out of town, had a tire go bad on us and were recommended to this location by an AAA service technician. The service manager at The Mavis tire store was extremely helpful. The work was done and finished in the time period he told us it would be. We were very appreciative of the service provided.

Should get zero stars. I got to two Cooper cs3 tires installed and asked about getting an alignment at the same time. Quoted 157 ish. After it was done now 240 ish. Ok wow so they go "oh well alignment is 80." I wouldn't have gotten it done if I knew that since it wasn't off at all. To my knowledge it was a check and fix if needed. "So hey we can do it for 200 ish", they say. I'm not happy but nothing I can do. I leave and my car is pulling to the left. Bad never did before. I call of course they are closed. I email them get told to bring it back or take it to a different place. I tell them I'm busy for a few days. End up taking to a different Mavis/sts. I don't tell them who did the alignment before them and oh boy do they say it's off and it must be pulling bad. We basically agree it probably was fine before Mavis touched it.

I had a coupon for Mavis and they got my brakes done. The parts are good quality even though they're cheap, but I watched the guy cool off for 20 minutes before he got started on my car when I was just sitting on the bench waiting. It took three and a half hours for a 15-minute service, so I wouldn’t go back in that branch. But in the other place, they went out of their way to get a part for my convertible that they didn’t have and to get it overnighted. Then I also brought my truck there to get a shackle replaced. I needed the truck for the next day and they put me in front of a bunch of other people and did it in only an hour. They’re good people.

I went without an appointment after I saw there was a screw in my tire and it was slowly losing air. This is the second tire that had a screw in it after I took a trip to Kingston. They took my car right away and fixed the screw hole and rotated my tires. I was in and out in an hour.

While the price was not cheap, all the work done by Mavis (STS Metuchen) was fair, reasonable, and necessary. This was a 14 year old car with 90,000 miles. It needed some work on suspension, tires, and hoses. I am glad I took it to STS because they found the problems, explained everything in good detail, and did the work in a day. I went back the next day for a fix engine light and they fixed that right away no charge, it was a side effect of the other work they had done. Highly recommended.

The staff of South Plainfield's Mavis Discount Tire was so courteous and professional. They delivered a high degree of specialized service with a genuine smile. Danny, the manager, guided his staff with grace as he kindly delegated instructions to ensure that the customer experience was that of high quality. Danny provided an accurate depiction of the services that were REQUIRED and those which were merely RECOMMENDED. When my wait time exceeded that which Danny had originally quoted to me, he discounted a portion of my total.

I stopped at Mavis with a vehicle my wife drives 99% of the time. It is a newer vehicle that she often gets serviced at the dealership where she bought it. She has had a tire that kept going soft that twice the dealer told her was a wear factor and that it needed to be replaced. I kept telling her to go to Mavis so finally I was home so I took it down there. Within 10 minutes the manager walked out showing me a nail. Amazing what you find when your main concern is service not selling things that are not needed.

I've been going to the muffler repair shops for many years. Then I went to Mavis Tire for car repairs. They explained what needed to be done and what they suggested that needed to be done. I wasn’t really blind walking into anything. I would recommend them.

Your manager Albert was professional and diagnosed the problem in a timely manner. Everything went smoothly even though the place was busy and in the middle of a huge tire salvage tire pickup. Everything went well and I was most satisfied with every aspect of the service, work and timeliness of the work. Albert and his support staff are excellent. Ben is also good. Took my truck in for NYS Inspection. Service rep pointed out my rear brake pads that were worn considerably but still within inspection standards. I authorized replacement of rear pads and the price was very reasonable. The guys had the truck done in short order and I'm happy to say I had another good experience with Mavis. I'm a retired auto tech and service manager so I can appreciate the way they operate. Great Job!

Excellent service - Oil change, rear brakes, new battery, rotate tires, replace wiper, muffler and exhaust pipe, wheel cylinder.

I've always been going to Mavis for anything to do with tires, tread, or alignment. Any tires that I buy, I only buy from them. I've been going to them for about 30 years. I've only had one negative experience in the last year or two. The rest have all been very positive. When they moved to South Road, Poughkeepsie, I've been going there since. However, I now favor going to Parker Avenue because I had a flawless experience with them. The people at Parker Avenue look out for me, and if I need something done, they always find a way to get it done even when they don't have a lot of people there. I appreciate that they jump through hoops for me. They help me out in a lot of ways. Nothing but good things to say about Mavis Parker Avenue.

Mavis Tire has a stable staff there. Whenever I go, they’re always nice to me and they try to do their best to take care of me. However, I was a little disappointed this last time but it wasn’t the fault of the folks behind the counter. I didn’t have the number with me, I needed an oil change, so I called and I found later I’ve been attached to the corporate number. They quoted me a price but it wasn’t correct. So when I got there and my car was up on the lift, then they looked at what they actually had to put in there, it’s been doubled what I’ve been quoted. They quoted me 24 bucks and it was 45 bucks by the time I left. It was a bad error on the corporate side but my experience with the local guys has been positive.

My first two initial visits for really great mechanics are wonderful period. Came back in after 2000 miles on my truck after it was aligned due to my tires wearing extremely badly on the outer edge. Manager at the times that I need to speak to add about the tires and see what they're going to do. Week went by no word from Ed. No call. Call the shop and if it go and asked what they were going to be doing they said they will not be doing anything as I have a lift on my truck. This was not stated when I first signed up to have my truck aligned with them.

Steve and Kurt were great. They got me in and out in a couple of hours like they said, and the mechanics were good and efficient.

I came in to inspect my car and was checked right away. They took my car for a spin to see if everything was ok then put it up in the air. Then they dropped it, put the computer on it and that was it. The manager was very friendly and let me know what my car is going to need in the next service. Such a nice guy.

Mavis responded and quickly resolved my issue. I wish communication with managers had been more forthcoming. I feel this was just a case of human error and would definitely recommend them and use them for future work.

I like that Mavis Tire is local. I've purchased tires and did oil change from them among other things. So far, everything has been great and we have really good service here in Catskill. Their reps and technicians were very polite and helpful.

Tom treated us awesome from the second we walked into his store in Geneseo, NY. His philosophy of "Great Service First" is refreshing in todays marketplace. He acted like a trusted advisor instead of a salesman, and we are impressed. We will definitely recommend these guys to anyone.

I gave this store a 5 star because my experience for the first time going there was great! The staff was very friendly and appreciative for your business. I did give an overall of the appearance and 8 just for the simple fact the building itself is an older building. Thank you Mavis Tire employees. I will be back for future business.

On July 12, we brought our car into Mavis. Mavis of East meadow at 2139 Hempstead Turnpike. They did an oil change, checked brakes, tires, front end, alignment. They then changed out 2 shocks and did the wheel alignment. He told us he checked all the wheels, axles, everything. So, I guess you don't take responsibility for a misdiagnosis? We were advised the tires may need to be replaced but all else looked ok. I had advised them we heard noises, like rumblings. They said that was because of the alignment being off and there was some oil on the tires but nothing of concern. Also, when doing an oil change you need to make sure you change out the screws.

Fast, friendly and good prices. Highly recommended.

The waiting room/showroom area is a bit small but other than that they many bays and got the work done quickly. They did offer additional services but I never felt bullied or forced like I do at other places and they took no for an answer.

Firestone is nearby, but I tried Mavis this time because online tire prices seemed good. They were and the service was good as well.

Becky and Chris at the Wantagh location was amazing. And Mike off of Hempstead Tpke was so accommodating and professional. Had a blowout. They put the spare on at no additional cost and referred me to Wantagh which had my exact tire. Amazing.

I went to Mavis for a brake work. I liked it at first. I had the back brakes done and then, two months later, I decided to go and have my front brakes done. I was then told that I need all new brakes. I told them that I just had them do the brakes two months ago in the back. So then, the mechanic goes and looks at it again, "Oh, they're good." I go, "Yeah. They're good now because you found out they're new." I'm very dissatisfied with my experience with them.

I’ve been going to the same location when it was Monro for a while. It became Mavis Tire but the manager of the location stayed the same. I've had great jobs in oil changes, transmission fluid and normal maintenance items from them. I also bought Firestone tires for my car around five years ago.

Fixed bracket on exhaust very quickly. Very satisfied, would recommend and will continue to take my car there. They were friendly, professional and courteous.

I got a part of my car appraised and an oil change at Mavis Tire and my car sounds so much better and my oil change is good. Everything has worked a lot better with my car now. The people who work at Mavis have been very nice and professional and are very good at their job. They got me in and out in a quick amount of time. Also, the assistant manager was amazing and very helpful.

I've been to Mavis Tire in the past and it's technically just a walk from my house so I can bring the car there and walk home. I had my tires, state inspection, and mufflers serviced there and I get really good service. They are excellent. I have a great experience every time I go there.

I've been using Mavis for tires, oil changes and mechanical work for quite a while and the quality has been fine. The techs are always neat and the place is clean except for the landscaping which needs a lot of work. I've always shopped there but ever since they went to Mavis from Cole Muffler, though, their shop rates have gone up a lot. It used to be $62 and now it’s up to $89. A little is okay but 50% is a lot. I don’t like that. Now, I'm looking for another mechanic.
