I always get great service and advice. I have used this facility for over ten years. Mavis staff Dante ** is professional and always knowledgeable of the products he recommends. I have always highly recommended Mavis on BROADWAY, BRONX to all my family and friends.

I made an online reservation for 9:30 am and my car is still not ready at 2:00 pm. I just needed 2 snow tires and an oil change! The manager said that walk-ins are serviced before reservations. Then why do they advertise that they accept reservations if they aren't going to honor them!!! Another time they scratched my new car during an inspection. I will not frequent this Mavis ever again!

I recently purchased 4 Cooper snow tires for my 07 Toyota. The Assistance Manager, Raymond was very helpful. We ordered the tires. Two days later, we made an appointment. All on time, tires mounted, balanced. Waited no more than 30 minutes. Out the door, happy New Year!

I was pleased with service I was given. Although they didn't have the tires on site they were able to get it from their nearby dept and install them without me having to return.

I went to Mavis on a Friday night at 5 pm with a flat tire but in dire need of all four tires needing to be replaced. I walked in and Victor helped immediately. He suggested 4 tires for me and told me he would be happy to put them on although the wait would be a little bit. I really didn't mind and the wait was not bad at all. There was a nice area to wait for your vehicle, they even offered my son pizza. I paid much less than I expected. I absolutely would recommend them.

As usual Frank consulted with me on what had to be done. I agreed to his recommendations and they were carried out. By my estimation I saved on repairs and left completely satisfied. Thanks MAVIS!

The sidewall on my front passenger tire was damaged and needed replacement. My spare tire blew out in a pothole on the way to the service center. Although it was one minute before closing time, Christian (the Assistant Manager) realized the urgency of the situation and had my tire replace in no time at all.

I believe Rashawn primarily assisted me. I hope you realize what an asset to your company he is. He went ABOVE and BEYOND what I would expect any employee to do to assist a customer. He is phenomenal. I also had a brief encounter with Mike, he too was wonderful. I don't know how you got so lucky to get the employees you do. I am very pleased. VW dealer said I needed a $179.00 tire. Mavis found a nail and fixed a slow leak. If I needed a tire Mavis had it for $100. Mavis is the best.

Anthony and Jay at the North Buffalo location were both highly attentive, extremely courteous, exceedingly professional and, most of all, infectiously positive. The website was very easy to navigate, my confirmation was emailed promptly and the visit came in eight around the estimate the website provided. I wish I could say the same for the competition but was effectively blown off by Pep Boys then made to feel as if I'd done something wrong and finally insulted via email. Mavis was much more than a positive experience - it was a breath of fresh air.

I recently purchased 4 Michelin tires for my SUV from Mavis Discount Tire. I wanted a very specific Defender series tire that 5 tire stores in my area said were out of stock and they couldn't get them for me. Mavis said they had what I needed in stock. Turns out they had three but were able the get a fourth tire in a couple of days. They kept me informed and delivered the goods as promised. Also, they were cheaper than what the other folks in town quoted for the tires they didn't have!

Excellent service and Raul was very helpful in my decision on what tires would be best for my car. Also provided me a one year warranty on my tires.

The service I receive when I am at the Mt. Sinai Mavis is outstanding! I am always treated respectfully by Lorenzo and his staff, and I always know when there's work to be done they will stand by their work each and every time. Lorenzo is always very helpful, and will see to it that any work done is appropriate and done right the first time. I bring all my family's cars there, and recommend Lorenzo to all my neighbors, friends, and family!

Matt the manager sold me a wrong sized tire and replaced an old tire a year ago. He refused also to work with me as I am fairly destitute and a senior citizen... The tire they replaced on my vehicle could have ruined my differential gears as was explained to me by Dolson Tire and Auto repair... Mavis does not help people in need and their work at best is poor. They do not stand behind their work, are rude and insensitive to the needs of the public. They sent me out of there with a danger piss tire situation...

When servicing car, we tend to take it to a place and people we trust. At the end of the day, it is us who are responsible for selecting the car repair and maintenance shop and while we aren't the ones who are accountable for the services we received, we are the ones who have to live with them... With this review I want to acknowledge my trust and gratitude to the Cole Muffler/ Mavis Tire company for delivering consistently exceptional service and quality for past 10+ years. I not only purchase my tires, brakes, and exhaust components but also get maintenance and any related work performed by Mavis professionals. I have heard both good and bad things about Mavis but I decided to try them for myself. In my experience the workers were very helpful and professional. I appreciated that I didn't have to spend twenty minutes saying "No thank you" to any "recommend repairs" I went in. Got my tires on (at a great price) and didn't have them trying to sell me a ton of other services. It was a great experience and I will be going back for any service I need that they can provide.

The best customer service and cost. The least wait time I had over all the other similar business mega stores. You seem to care much more for your client's concerns and are much more respectful.

I had to take my car back because the mechanic didn't put my spare tire back. And when I took car back, it took 30 minutes to put tire back in compartment. I was told 20 minutes.

Mavis/Port Jefferson Station just did a great job changing two belts on my wife's Nissan Altima for $145 that Pep Boys, across the street, quoted at approx. $260! You can actually watch them work on your vehicle so that you actually know they inspected the brakes, suspension, etc. instead of trusting some check marks on a receipt. No more Pep Boys for me. Thanks Mavis!

The work on my catalytic converter was quick and they helped me out by giving me a warranty on my muffler. 10/10 would recommend to every.

With nearly 75K on my 2011 Sonata I believed it was time for new brake pads. Imagine my astonishment when the service writer informed me that I should wait another ten to fifteen thousand miles before replacing them since there was plenty of pad left on both front and rear. Where do you find that kind of honesty in the car servicing business. They've got a customer for life!

I went to Mavis complaining of a strange sound coming from my brakes. The manager Brian and mechanic Lynn went above and beyond to pin down the cause of my problem and get it fixed. I have never gotten such good service at any auto repair shop. Their prices were extremely fair, especially given the amount of time they spent working on my car. I HIGHLY recommend this location. I will be bringing all my cars there when they need service.

They changed my engine mount on my Ford Focus because I had a terrible shake in the front end of my car and when they changed it the problem went away. And that's the reason I dont take my car and truck to anyone else because when you work on people's car or truck they get it done right the first time.

Had a flat tire - pulled into Mavis tire center. They repaired the tire. There wasn't any reference of buying tires or any other service. They were quick and professional. I would go back for other service related issues. As well as recommend them to anyone else.

I bought 4 tires at Mavis Tire on W. Ridge in Greece, NY on the 13th of November. They said they would do a spot check to see if I need an alignment. They said I do so let them do it even though the tires they took off were wearing fine and the car wasn't pulling or even drifting at all. Then when I left, I noticed the car was pulling to the left. So I came back the following Monday. They worked on it and when I left, it was still pulling. I called a Mike ** (spelling could be off) and he said "Go to Mavis on Maiden Lane and ask for Bob." So I did and I never talked to Bob. Someone else helped me and worked on it and again it drifted to the left. I called Mike back this past Sunday and he said "Go back and make sure you talk to Bob" so I did. They worked on it again and it still drifts to the left. I don't know what to do. Should I have Bob in the car with me so we both can see it drift to the left?

I continue to come to Mavis Tire in Franklin Square because of one reason. I trust their service manager Russ. He has consistently provided tire and brake service to the vehicles I own over the past 4 years. Nobody's perfect, and with any car repair there are issues but Russ has always been a person who has made things right for his customers. I don't write reviews for anyone but he deserves it.

I had Mavis in Cold Spring, NY replace my exhaust system, oil change, tire rotation, belt tightener, pulley and belt.

I have become a permanent customer of the Dansville Mavis Tire. It is very hard to find a car repair shop that you fully trust. Mavis Tire has become that place for both of my vehicles. The only negative thing is the lack of a coffee machine for customers.

My husband hit a severe pothole that damaged two tires. Luckily, we had purchased the road hazard warranty (only $12 per tire). The team at Mavis Tire handled this very professionally and replaced both tires with a pro-rated cost based on how much of the tread we had used up. It was very reasonable and I was happy with how efficient they were. I only waited an hour and a half and I had brand new tires. They rotated them at my request.

Mavis on Rt 55 Poughkeepsie by Apple Valley Mall - The staff is always extremely helpful, honest about needed repairs, and schedules without overbooking. They fix/maintain all 4 of our vehicles in a timely fashion. Answer all questions in detail or actually show us the physical problem that needs to be fixed before we commit to spending money on any major repair.

Everyone I spoke with was friendly! Quick service! Louis was great, took time to explain to me what was going on! I would definitely recommend friends and family come to this shop for service! Louis kept other customers updated on the status of their vehicles. It's obvious that he cares about his customers and wants to make sure they leave in safe vehicles!

I was helped greatly. I was told my inspection would be within an hour and within 10 minutes they inspected my car. My inspection was good and the young man that serviced my car walked me to my car after the inspection just to go over the fact that in a couple of months I would need to get new brake pads. MAVIS ON HEMPSTEAD TURNPIKE in BETHPAGE, NY is the reason my son's engine seized. My son took his 2012 Mazda in to get a simple oil change and they screwed up. Someone didn't screw something on right and the same day all my son's oil leaked out of his car. We immediately took it back and they fixed and filled the oil tank back up. The manager apologized, said it was entirely their fault and if we had any problems at all they would accommodate us. He explained he has insurance for these kinds of mistakes and if anything were to happen to the engine they would take care of it.

Service is great and convenient. The service manager was really nice and asked me if I wanted to do a tire rotation for free. Of course I agreed. Overall, great new convenient place.

I went there for an oil change and they were extremely fast and professional. They also checked all my fluids and tire pressure. Very happy with the prompt service and value cost of labor. I will keep coming back.

Snow Tires purchase and mounted on wheels. Some of the invoice information is incorrect, **, miles 30,305. Taken in and service performed in a timely manner. When a different price came up, price was adjusted to the quoted price given. Everyone I encountered was efficient and friendly. I would and have recommended other I know to check out Mavis.

Mavis inspected my car thoroughly and it passed the NYS inspection. Although my tire tread depth was getting low I knew it was still within guidelines. The technicians at Mavis pointed out that I would need new tires soon but did not pressure me into a purchase. They did point out my rotor wear and suggested new rotors but again did not pressure me into a purchase. I opted for the brake service and the car is good as new. Thank you Danny and staff!!!

The fellows who work at Mavis in Auburn are the most respectable people I have ever had to deal with. I had just received my car back from a dealership after they "fixed" an oil problem. Mavis looked at it and found a significant oil leak.

The workers at Mavis tire in Selden were very nice and great workers. I explained my problem and they figured out what was wrong. Their prices are fair and reasonable. Chris was the one who helped me out a lot. Very knowledgeable and respectful.

The service received at your Transit Road Store in Williamsville NY was exceptional. The service manager went above and beyond to help me with my purchase, get the tires into his store and install them exactly like he promised. This is hard to find today. The only improvement I would suggest is in your call center. Everything I was told was incorrect. There were several other customers in the waiting room with me and we all shared the same experiences of your call center.

I have used this location a number of times for service on my Honda and have been very satisfied with the services provided. The staff is always kind and courteous.

Robert, the service writer was pleasant and knew right where the drinking cups were when I was drying up. Scott was who I spoke with initially and did what he said he would. Tim and Tony aka Anthony both did excellent work and I can't state strongly enough what a change in the way my Sequoia now drives. It's a 2005 with 96,000 and it drives like new! Had oil change and snow tires mounted. They keep me appraised of what was going on and had my vehicle ready when they said they would.

Today's visit was due to me needing an oil change, getting my first tire rotation (with Mavis) and having a question answered about my dashboard. Mr. Henry ** personally oversaw the work I needed done. After further inspection he informed me that I needed new spark plug and struts. He showed me the faulty spark plug that were in my car; two of them weren't even for MY vehicle. All of the staff at Great Neck are professional, courteous and I will keep going to them.

I have been going to Mavis on Sunrise Hwy. in Bay Shore for as long as they have opened. The service has always been courteous, fast and at a reasonable cost. I would not take my truck any place else to be repaired. Tommy is a great service mgr.

When I took the car in the brakes were screeching and the brake light was coming on and off. Also tire pressure light was on. They consulted me on the brakes and explained the warranty. I okay them to put on brake pads. And one of the tire valves was loose. They repaired it and placed caps on the ones that was missing. All of this was done in a considerable time. I will be returned on sunday for them to install an air cabin filter.

We went to Mavis in Wappingers just to get our oil changed and rotate tire. Regular maintenance. The guys found an issue with the axle and immediately fixed the issue. Chris (the manager) went above and beyond and has earned our business as well as our recommendation to many others! Service Manager Mr. Michael ** and mechanic Roberto did excellent job on my truck 04 Trailblazer. All 4 new rotors and all 4 brakes, job done in less than 1 hour. Thank you Mavis for this good people.

I had a strut/spring replacement done, after much work done to my car and all new parts put in, one of the major new parts was defective (unknown to them). I was offered an immediate replacement at no extra cost to me and sincere apologies for my inconvenience. The matter is being handled immediately and to my satisfaction, I would not go ANYWHERE ELSE again for these types of repairs!

All my cars GMC, Ferrari, Xterra and Dodge - They are always on point, concerned and affordable.

Was happy with the tire deal for type of tires vs. what was previously installed and the price, even without rebate was a great deal. Actually paid less than the previous install from a few years ago. Add in the rebate and I made money on the sale. Work was done correctly and in a workmanlike manner. I had both rear wheel bearings replaced on my Toyota Highlander at the Batavia, NY Mavis tire shop. They did the work quickly in about 2 hours and were also very friendly and professional. Their prices are great when compared to other repair shops in this area, and are quite a bit lower than any of the Toyota Dealers that I contacted. Highly recommended, professional repair shop!

Got car towed to this station because they had a new Dunlop in stock to match my other 3 new tires. They checked it all out, did the repair and communicated details. Great experience at this shop. I called in the morning and everything I was told happened...thank you.

This shop did a great job for me on a Sunday(!!) when I needed assistance installing a new battery that another vendor couldn't install because my old one was leaking acid. Who knew a tie shop could do this?! They took me right in and got the battery done within 15 minutes. Very pleasant staff. Highly recommend!

Purchased 4 new Michelin Defender tires (235/65/16's) for my 06' Grand Marquis in August 2015, along with an alignment. After 3 months and 12,000 miles later, I love them. My first choice was the Continental TrueContact, which is a very high rated tire and desirable for mostly highway usage (which I do daily). I found the atmosphere of your Albany, N.Y. Shop (downtown Central Ave location) not only to be very professional in service to the vehicle, but also well versed in selecting the proper tire for the driving conditions/style of the customer. And extremely courteous, displaying excellent people skills, always answering questions WITHOUT negative attitude.

On 9/25/15 I brought my teenage son's car in for 2 new front tires and a alignment. This was 2 days after we had the whole front end replaced. Last night 10/13/15 my son noticed that there was about 1 1/2 in of cord showing on both front tires on the inside of the tire. No alignment sheet was given to me at the time of service and based on the wear of the tires one was never done. The store manager told me that it was due to an inferior tire that we purchased, tires that he recommended. He advised me that he was going to replace the tires for "free", do another alignment and provide the printout of it and replace 3 studs that got stripped in the process. According to the invoice that I signed, there is a 30-day limited warranty on labor plus a 90-day warranty by the manufacturer. I was not getting the work for "free". I paid for it and got inferior work to start with!

I have had my very old Saturn SL1 services at Mavis in Great Barrington several times over the last year. Each job was priced fairly or discounted in some way, with incredible service/turnaround. Expert manager Kenyatta keeps things running smoothly. I recommend Mavis to everyone! Thanks a lot.

I needed to do comparison shopping for my 84 year old father who unexpectedly had to buy 4 new tires to pass inspection. On a fixed income, we needed the best price. Jim from Mavis was AWESOME. He made sure we got the best price, tires & service.

I know people read this thinking that these people must know someone that works there. I do not. I shop around and seen Cole Muffler had an ad for tires and looked it up online and then seen that they were with Mavis. I then called and got tires 1 year ago. Fuzion touring tires good tire, good price. I got 33k miles and they were still would have passed inspection with 5/32 left but got a nail in them. Due to the price and the fact that I have a Subaru I opted for 4 new tires so I called Mavis after looking online again and they gave me the regional tire guy. He gave me a price over the phone which was cheaper than I thought and got me an appointment in 1.5 hours. I got the Crosswind 50k tires and inspection. They inspected my car and were thorough and did not try to sell me anything or tell me something needed fixing.

Always have a good experience at your Riverside, CT location. Chris is always courteous and nice to deal with. Tire needed was ordered fast and the job was done in a timely manner.

Scott and team were able to diagnose problem and provide me a quick resolution at an extremely fair price. Jeremy, Scott and team, you guys really take care of your customers. Never change the mindset of keeping your customers needs top of mind.

New tires and other work done quickly and expertly.

I have been here three times and these guys are 3/3, 100% success and customer satisfaction rating. They are knowledgeable, fast, and they are really willing to help and work with you. I went yesterday for an oil change and tire rotation and something's came up and I found out I needed shocks on the back. Normally you'll go to a place like Jiffy Lube and they try and sell you 15 additional things when you're just there for your $22 oil change and a car wash.

Mavis people were incredible, hard working, to try to get 427542 parts I needed so I could drive out of there. Store was crammed full of people, everyone worked perfectly under pressure. They gave me a ride with my two dogs to the train. They found the parts overnight and car was ready next day. Amazingly on Columbus Day weekend.

I pulled in at 5:45pm with a flat tire, and Matt & his crew had two new tires on my car in less than 45 minutes!! No hassles, no bad vibes, just excellent service!!

I am writing this note as a community service to warn people about Mavis Tires in Haverstraw, NY. This is not a random rant to bad mouth this company. It's to save any person that is considering taking the car for a service at Mavis Tires NOT to even think about going there. Do NOT take your car there. I repeat DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR to a Mavis Tires in Haverstraw, NY. You CANNOT trust them. They are not reliable at all. Such a horrible service. Bad management. I took my car to the Haverstraw store, Saturday, September 3rd 2015. I got 4 new tires, and paid for alignment, which by the way it was NOT cheap at all. After more than 4 hours, the car was done according to them. Not true, since I had to come back the next day. So obviously they didn't do a good job. To my surprise, right after leaving, I barely drove 20 minutes and notice that the steering wheel was shaking a lot.
