As far as my local store goes, the guys from Mavis Tire are honest and their service is reasonably priced and fast. They're also close by. Mavis purchased a private company that I used to do business with and some of the same employees work there now, so I trust them. Also, their representatives are great guys and really try hard to make sure that everything's right to my satisfaction.

I was so impressed with the customer service at this Mavis. I called an hour before they were closing to ask about getting a wheel alignment. The man who answered the phone... name started w/ a S... sorry, I don't remember his name... was so kind. I asked if there was time to do a wheel alignment because I was going on a long trip the next day. He said if I could be there in 15 min, they could do because it takes about 45 min to do. I told him I would try, and if I couldn't, I would do the day after tomorrow. He said since I was going on trip, I needed alignment, and they would wait for me to arrive even if it was longer than 15 min. Amazing customer service. Everyone I encountered there was very friendly and kind.

Took my car in for an oil change and they over-torqued the drain plug causing the oil pan to crack. They attempted to convince me this was a normal problem with Honda's because they use an aluminum pan. Took it to another garage for repair (didn't want to throw good money after bad) and the all three mechanics there agreed it clearly was torqued on too tight (Called two other shops including Honda, they concurred it is NOT a problem with the pan, they drain plug was over-torqued).
More evidence they don't know what they are doing is they used a regular steel washer on the plug when a compression washer is called for. This means they didn't use an OEM filter since that washer comes with them. We are in the process of getting them to stand behind the repair ($600) but their position is it wasn't their fault. Manager "Steve" refused to give his last name or the last name of the district manager saying "it's not relevant." Run. Do not. Walk away from this business.

The store manager was the person I dealt with and he handled things expertly both times I was there. Purchased 4 new tires for a 2011 Charger. Driving away from Mavis after tires installed, back left tire flew off. Lee, manager at Mavis store in Ledgewood,NJ had car towed back to shop. After speaking to Lee and Mavis customer service, we were told Mavis would pay for damage to vehicle and for rental while vehicle was being fixed. Also was told both by Lee and customer service that car would be towed to a place picked by us. Gave all the info to Lee as to where we wanted the car fixed. First they tow the vehicle to the wrong place. When it finally gets to the right place, tow truck driver leaves with keys. A week later we get a call that the vehicle is fixed and the cost is $3000.00 and as soon as Mavis pays, we can pick up the car. This is on a Monday.
Call customer service and tell them. Was told ok, someone will get back to us. No calls on Monday. Tuesday morning call customer service again. Told ok someone will get back to us. No return call. Call again, told the same thing and again. Wednesday 4 more calls and no return calls. Thursday I call and told them I was not hanging up till I talked to someone in charge. Finally got to speak to a regional manager, Jeff. Was informed by Jeff that they never approved the charges and wanted to know why we towed the car to the place. Had to tell him that Mavis towed the car after asking where we wanted to go to get it fixed (have it in writing that they would pay for repairs). Said he would make a call and he assured me he would call me right back. He never called back. Friday morning called customer service again... reminded them that my car has been ready since Monday and they are paying for the rental until I get my car back.
Was told they would only authorize $1500 even though the bill came to just under $3000.00. Told them No, they were paying the whole thing. Was told they had to try to get approval and they will call me back. 3 hours later and still no call back. Call customer service again (by now everyone there knows my name and the story) and was told they would pay the whole thing even though they never authorized the work but since I was a valued customer they would pay it. Valued customer??? Never once have they ever returned my calls, called me back when they said they would and tried to get out of paying for the damage they caused!!! Like I would ever set foot in any Mavis shop again!!

Apparently Mavis does not know how to do an oil change. My car began to produce huge amounts of smoke coming out of the hood two days after getting an oil change. Brought the car back and they say the error of their ways and tried to clean my engine, while downplaying their error. Next thing I know my car dies in the middle of the road, had to get towed and the cause was oil all in my alternator and connections. Very disappoint in Mavis. Now I can't trust my car anymore. Over the weekend, the Regional District Manager, Carlos, contacted me requesting that I bring the damaged tire to the Mavis location where my tires were originally installed. As luck would have it, my parked car was hit the same day Carlos contacted me (a neighbor believes my parked car was hit by a snow plow from the "Bomb Cyclone"). The accident resulted in damage that could have been misconstrued as the original tire not being defective, but caused by the accident. I promptly filed a police report to note the date of the accident and called Will, from Mavis, asking how I should proceed given this untimely information. After Will spoke with Carlos, I was told to bring in the original tire. I dropped it off in the morning to Thomas, for the tire to be inspected to see if it was defective. Thomas didn't tell me the results of the inspection, not did I ask, but he did tell me to bring my car in that afternoon and my tire was replaced. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I appreciated the prompt response and the resolution was fairly seamless. I am still going to request a refund for the patch and temporary tire change from when my tire blew and will update this review with my response ($60), if this site allows. Overall, I felt as though Mavis handled the situation well.

Two days ago, on January 2, 2018, slightly less than 8 months later, the front left tire blew out while driving 50MPH along the FDR Drive in NYC. This car has been driven very carefully since receiving the new tires. There was no impact or puncture but the tire was flat. Upon further inspection, the damage was on the sidewall of the tire. This is unacceptable. The tire was either defective or there was negligence during the installation. I am now concerned about the other three tires. I wrote to customer service two days ago to register my complaint and have not received a response.

Why such a disparity in pricing a simple item like a battery? Long Beach says they have to see the car, I don't know why, the car's been serviced there before; Island Park is $129.99; they have also serviced the car; Massapequa Park is $110, also serviced the car; and, my son had his replaced at Franklin Square for $90. 45% difference? How much price difference would there be if I needed 4 tires, brakes, and an alignment?

I had purchased tires from Mavis two years ago. They just opened up near me and I figured I'd try them on and I liked them. They’ve fixed a few flat tires for me, and they’re great people. I would definitely recommend them to anybody. In fact, I already got 40,000 miles on my new car and probably within a year, I’ll have to get tires and that’s where I’m going to go.

Made an appt to get 2 tires and wheel alignment. Received a confirmation from shop about tire appt. Went to shop and was told 2 hours later that they didn't have my tires and the wrong ones were sent. The rep Tried to sell me another set but I declined. Earlier the same thing happened to another customer while I was checking in. The rep told me that my correct tires were not available by any Mavis shop. I was told that when I ordered the tires I was speaking to a sales rep not at the East Windsor shop and that it was a call center. I find it wrong that a company can operate this way. Will advise all to stay away from Mavis in East Windsor NJ.

I’m on the verge of never using them again. I had gotten tires ten months ago. At the beginning of the year right around Thanksgiving, I took the vehicle in for an oil change. I had a squeak at the back of my car, so I asked them what the squeak was. They came out and said that I needed two front tires and I needed an alignment but when I got the tires then, I asked them about the alignment. They told me I did not need one which I thought was very odd. So I had spent about $700 earlier in the year on tires. Then they said that the squeak was due to struts and shocks. I got 160,000 miles on the car.
I ended up going out of town that weekend and got a rental so they could work on the car. So $1,400 later, I had struts, shocks, oil change. We negotiated only paying for the two tires for what I used mileage-wise so I didn’t have to pay the full price for the tires. However, the squeak is still on the back, so I took it back to them again and asked what the squeak was. Somebody else put it up on a lift, looked at it and said that it was the bushing. I asked if it needed to be fixed at that time and he said "No," unless the squeak annoyed me that much. I would have it fixed on my next change oil.
Now, I feel I’ve been screwed that I spent $1,200 on shocks and struts on my vehicle. The day after they did the oil change, I kept smelling something so they spilled oil all over inside which I still smell. They said that they would wash it but I don’t want them spraying water in it. The temperature has been below freezing for over a week, so I’m waiting for the temperature to get a little warmer to take it back to them and to let them clean the engine compartment. When the last guy looked at it because of the smell, he found nuts sitting up there around the edge where they took either the struts or shocks. I am not happy with their service right now. I will go back and I’d give them one more try for the next oil change and for them to fix the squeak and the bushing.
I also told the manager that he needs to find out which techs worked on my car the last two times I was in there because I don’t want those two guys ever to touch my vehicle again. Right now, Mavis is a really bad word in my household. The manager said that he would wash it the next time and it is going to take only a few minutes to let the car cool down a little bit. Whenever I have time, he was willing to work with me. They pulled into the bath, washed it right away and sent me on my way. He knew I was pissed. I really felt that I did not need struts or shocks because my car is not driving any differently than what it did before that.
In addition, the control arm was making a clinking noise, so they lowered it, and the noise stopped. But the tires got screwed up because the alignment wasn’t done right. I’ll accept the tires and the oil changes but the struts and shocks were almost a $1,000 alone. I just made the first installment on the Mavis card. I really have a bad taste in the mouth for them so they will not get good references from me, at least not the location in my town.

I've gone through three tire exchanges with Mavis and they've been good. Their reps didn't snow job me and actually took me out to the mechanic and showed me the fault. He also told me that it's not worth just getting the tire and I need to get stabilizers underneath. He explained it to me and I was happy about that. However, on the second tire exchange that I had, I asked them for four new tires, which they gave me, but one of them was not the same tire. It was only brought to my attention at a tire rotation. I went back to Mavis recently and told them that and one of their guys told me that I should have brought the car back and they would have corrected the issue. I was annoyed at that because they shouldn't have made that mistake since it was their job. But they told me that that won't happen again. They also gave me what I asked for at a decent price. They fixed it timely as well and got me a cab. It was good public relations.

I have a new car and bought my first set of snow tires from Mavis on Central Ave in Albany on 12-5 17. A few days later, I checked my tire pressure from the car diagnostic screen, and the front tire was low and the rear tire was reading 10 lbs. higher than normal. After checking, I ascertained that the sensors got screwed up from the installation. When I called Mavis and requested to get them fixed, I was basically told, "good luck" we're really busy right now. I drove in first thing the next morning and was promptly waited on. My vehicle was pulled back out of the garage in a few minutes. When I asked the mechanic how everything was, he said he "topped it off" and walked away.
I was given NO paperwork, so there is no trail, except a voicemail I received back from Mavis which I am saving in case I need proof. I immediately checked my tires and the front tire was still low. When I asked about getting air put in it, they said the garage bays were all full, but I could drive a few miles down the road to the next Mavis, which I did. They have no outdoor air hose and they were extremely busy, so I left. I will NEVER buy tires from them again, never recommend them. I would pay the slight difference more to avoid the AGGRAVATION, LOST TIME, INCONVENIENCE, and POOR SERVICE. NEVER AGAIN, DON'T GO THERE!

I received a call from the manager of the Whiting Mavis tire store that my car was ready but, there was a slight mistake made. They had put on the wrong make of tire. They had put on Pirelli tires instead of the generals I had asked for. The manager said he was sorry but would discount the Pirelli tires by $5 each if I agreed to leave those on. I said ok but I wasn't happy about THEIR mistake. I then went to pick up and pay for the tires that were put on my car. I left the store and on the way home the low tire pressure light came on so I immediately returned to the store and let the manager know. They proceeded to check all 4 tires and they were okay. They then reset the light using a code reader and said that should fix it. Saturday the light came on again. I checked the pressure in all tires and they were correct.
I returned to the store on Monday to have them go through the same routine again only to have the light come again a few minutes later. The manager asked me to return on Wednesday as he would be there and have his own code reader there. I returned as asked on Wednesday morning, but that manager was not there but two different guys and were not knowledgeable of the situation. They said they would get it in and see what was going on. They got the light out, however that evening the light came back on. On Thursday afternoon I returned to the store and the manager said he doesn't know what else to do! I told him if he had to, to replace each wheel sensor if necessary. He said ok, bring it back tomorrow morning and he would see what he could do! I think this is as far as it should go. Their rate in town got me looking into purchasing from them and they got the job done right away. Getting their service is convenient, too. I brought my car in and when they said they could have it done, I told them I’ll pick it up the next day. I thought it was going to take the whole day but it was done in two hours. Their reps were very helpful and they took care of me, my girlfriend and my son with his car. The guys there were courteous and always willing to help. If I couldn’t pick my car up for the night, they put it in the shop so it’s not sitting out.
Also, when they did an oil change for me and they felt I waited too long, they gave it to me for free. They’re very conscientious about my time, which I think is really good. They sit in there saying they’re worth $75 an hour but they’re also saying that my time is worth something, too. And every time I've been there, even if I don’t have a coupon, they always tell me that there’s a coupon for the service that I just got done and they apply the coupon to the service.
So they have great customer service. They should also do inspections but they’re not doing New York State inspections and that opens them up to losing loyal customers because now someone’s going to go to another auto repair place to have them look at their car. And if something’s wrong with that car, then they have to get it fixed. And that other repair shop is going to steal that business away from them. Whoever I took to mess it all up and charge me $852. I was like wtf. All of this because Mavis tire couldn't change a lug stud the right way. Smh worst business to take your car...

I have had the mechanics to do maintenance before but after they recommended the tires at Mavis, I got four new tires and I asked Mavis if they knew where I can go for other things. They said they all did that there so they did the first job which was the struts and they did it great, so I went back for everything else. They also redid my entire suspension system with new straps, new control arms, ball joints and tie rods. Then they did an inspection, an oil change, my air conditioning and my heating blower motors as well.
The one I went to has got great guys too. Once, a part came in late and even though it was not their fault, they still offered me a rental car. I said it was not necessary as I have another car, so I had a friend pick me up. The guys were willing to go over and above. Mavis Discount Tires - Thornwood NY - I brought my car in for front and rear brakes. As I'm leaving I notice the brake pedal very soft - almost goes to the floor when you try and stop. I brought the car back and they tried to bleed brakes again to improve braking. Better but not perfect - I'm told to drive it for a while and see if it gets better (???). The next day my emergency brake actuator fails (mysteriously). I bring it back and the manager says he can't fix it but bring it to the dealer have it fixed and bring him the bill so he can reimburse me. I do that and get the report from the dealer and it states that they fixed my car and by the way the brakes that were put on are not OEM brakes (hence why the car does not stop as well) - which is what I paid for.
I go back to Mavis several times and am told on no less than 4 occasions by the manager Charlie that my reimbursement check is on someone's desk at corporate waiting for signatures - you should have it any day now (I haven't even brought up the fact yet that I paid for OEM parts and didn't get them - one thing at a time). Finally get a call from the regional manager stating the failed part was not their fault as there is no way to prove it was and they are not reimbursing me anything. After fighting about it with him over several calls I decide at this point to just ask for a credit on the original work done since I didn't get the OEM parts I paid for anyway and I would deal with the dealer's charges myself.
At this point he tells me no because when they state OEM parts they sometimes mean OEM "comparable" parts. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. If all this wasn't bad enough I find out that out of all the people working on the cars at this shop - only one of them is an actual mechanic - go figure!!! You can get the similar pricing from local actual mechanic shops who have knowledgeable people and can service your vehicle properly.

I went to the Mavis Discount Tires at E Hanover Ave, Morristown on 9/21. I had a flat tire, they take in my car. I walk back to my office. They call me and tell it's fixed, I go back walking and take my car. The guy tells me they found no nails, it was leaking because of the corrosion in my Alloy wheels, which he said happens in all the cars. They did bead sealing for this.
Few days later I found out it's still leaking slowly. I go back to them on 9/26 by 5pm, they said, "We can't repair now" and filled up air. I go back to them on 9/29, drop my car and request for a ride to office, got a straight no. I go to pick my car, they said they found a hole on the side wall. Which I am sure they made that in their process. I tell the guy at the counter, how they treated me until now, and now they tell me I have to get a new tire. He ignores me and tells, "Do you want a new tire or not, if you don't then leave".
I talk to the manager and tell him how they treated me all along. He said often times, "We don't find the leak, customers come 3-4 times then we find a leak, it's normal in my business". I was shocked, because this guy made me drive with a hole in the tire for a week, if it really existed the first time I came. Or they got that hole and not taking responsibility for it. I told him, "What if something serious happened", he tells me, "We don't go in what if, and we don't care until something happens".
I decided to leave them and get repairs somewhere else, but the way they were treating me, like I am some irrelevant cheap slave. I decided to get this man straight. I said that they damaged my tire and they should replace it. Manager says he won't, then waste my 1 hour and says goodbye rudely and goes into the workshop. The guy at the counter says, "We will refund the labor we charged not the whole amount".
I ask to talk to the manager. The counter stalls telling me he is busy. I can see he is doing nothing. I persist then the manager shows up, I tell him, "Why are you treating me like this is 100 years earlier", he said he is not having that conversation. I said that, "You treating me like it's that time". He said that, "You're thinking like that". I said that, "Yes I am thinking because you're treating me like that". Then he tells me that he will refund all the amount I paid him for his service (which he apparently failed at, even now). I said, "What about the tire". He said, "You can purchase from here or do it somewhere else". I said, "You're paying for it, because you made that hole". He said, "No I am not paying for anything, if you want the charges you paid back take it or leave, I am not talking to you anymore". And he bails out on me the second time.
At this time I am like, next time they might kick me out. Now the counter guy gets rude on me and starts telling me, "You need the money or not, if not then leave, your car is outside". I ask for the manager, the counter guys says he is busy (I see him doing nothing). I persist again then he shows up and says, "I spoke me regional manager and he said we will sell you without our profit and no installation charges".
The discounted price on my Michelin tire was $170. I was so pissed at them I didn't wanna buy from here. I said, "Pay me the discount money and I will buy it somewhere else". He said no and said, "I don't wanna talk to you anymore" and bails out on me the third time. In between the conversation with the manager the counter guy laughs at me. Ultimately I couldn't take them anymore and took the charges I paid for and left.

I was given another tire and then started back on my way. Within a week of the incident, I started losing pressure every week along with a second replaced tire.

I am a new driver. Have only had my car for 5 months. Unfortunately, I noticed that the car had a weird noise. I know nothing about cars so I asked my bf's dad about it and he said it was definitely the left back break and that to fix it, it should not be more than 400$ (he used to do mechanical work). Today is a Sunday and I found Mavis Discount Tires on S Salina St. (Syracuse) open so I went there with my bf. I was greeted by Jeffrey, the manager. He said I could leave and he would call. When he calls me to give an estimate, he told me that I needed to get the back AND front fixed breaks and I that I needed a new caliper for the back left break and it would be 950$ total. (I thought it was only the back that needed fixing mind you).
I told him I considered that to be very expensive, so he said that with a discount he can bring it back down to 875$. So I asked about fixing ONLY the back left break and he said that the back caliper was stuck so maybe he could try to unstick it and if so then it would be 650$ to just fix the pads and rotors. So then I literally asked him if he was over charging me b/c I was a woman and did not know anything about cars, to which he tried to explain that anywhere I take it, it would be around that price. I know that to be untrue b/c my bf showed me a receipt of the time he took his car to another shop and for the front and back pads, rotors AND caliper the total was 376$. I told Jeffrey I would talk to my bf about it and call him back. My bf immediately said I was being overcharged.
My bf and I headed back and we showed Jeffrey the receipt from the shop my bf had gone to. Jeffrey kept to his story, explaining that the amount he was charging to fix the caliper, rotors and pads was reasonable. I said that I would rather take it somewhere else that would give me a fair price for it, b/c I am a student and thus, am not economically stable. This is where it gets frustrating for me. It seems he really wanted to make the sale b/c he then says that he would do everything for 375$. I was very reluctant and I even spoke to him about this. I told him that I did not want him to do this if he thought he would not do a good job b/c he was upset about the whole situation.
My goal was not to get this done at a unfair low price. All I wanted was for him to be straightforward with me and give me a reasonable price. He said not to worry that he would do the front and back for me, and I asked him if he would fix the caliper as well for the 375$ and he said yes. To make sure, I even asked him again to confirm that the 375$ included changing the caliper, pads and rotors, and again he said yes.
My mistake was not getting this in writing. I left and he said he would call me when it was ready. When I went back he just asked me for my card. I have been to another car shop for an estimate and I remember they printed the receipt out so I could read it and sign it and pay for the services so I thought it was weird that Jeffrey just quickly asked for my card without letting me see the paperwork. So I asked to see it and he turns the computer screen around b/c he had not printed it and shows me that the front and back brake pads and rotors were fixed but no caliper.
So I asked him, "What about the caliper?" And he said he couldn't fix it for that price (the 375$). I reminded him that he confirmed to me that he would and he flat out said that he never did. Obviously, it is his word against mine and there is no actual proof that he said that he would indeed fix the caliper as well as the pads and rotors for me at this price. I was unsure of what to do so I just gave him my card and paid for the services and left.
This is such a lamentable experience for me b/c of the lack of honesty. If he would have told me that he couldn't fix it for that price from the start, then I would have gladly just brought it somewhere else. So now I have new brake pads and rotors, but a faulty caliper, for which I paid almost 400$. Not sure what to do about it now. I should have known once he charged me 950$, then 875$, then 650$, then 575$ to finally 375$ that this was going to backfire on me. What ever happened to being professional and honest workers? I was taken for a fool today and due to this I do not plan on going back to a Mavis Discount Tires store.

I called at 1 pm to inquire about the delay and was told car is up on rack now, should be another 20 minutes. I then arranged to be dropped off and await the few minutes until car is ready. When I arrived vehicle is in bay but no one is working on vehicle. After about 20 minutes I asked why no one was working on the car... It's supposed to be ready now I was told. It hadn't even been started. "We were busy" I was told. I asked why they lied, I could have stayed home.
So after this debacle I am paying the bill. I ask why they were charging me more for parts than they have listed on website. They checked website and said I was correct... yet they still overcharged me. Said I would need to speak with manager. At that point I did not see anything good coming out of a convo with Manager. I had ordered 4 tires & made an appointment online on 7/2/17 for next day. When I called the Cherry Hill store to make sure that the tires were available, I was asked to change my time from 1030 to 1300 (for them to pick up the tires). When I arrived at the store at 1300 on 7/3, I was told that they was "a little backup" with the schedule. I then decided to leave the premise for lunch with my wife. The assistant manager informed me that my car would be ready by 4pm. Upon my return at exactly 1600, I was shocked to see that my car was on the lift in the middle front bay with 4 original tires removed. For the next 30 minutes, I witnessed 2 cars in the next bay being serviced, and nobody ever laid a hand on my car.
Meanwhile, several "new" customers entered to have service done while they waited. At 1630, I finally approached the assistant manager to question the reason for the lack of action on my car. The answer from the assistant manager was that "we were busy. You left your car here, and we had to work on people who waited". I was furious with his response, since I had made an appointment for 1300, and was told to return at 1600. What was the sense of making an appointment? Even when I left the premise, my car should still be ready by 1600 as promised by the assistant manager. I waited another 30 minutes upon return at 1600 and nothing was done to my car (while other vehicles were being serviced).
I made him aware that it was supposed to be ready by 1600, and nothing was done even after I returned. I took a picture of my car as proof. Soon after that, the assistant manager actually took his jacket off and assisted in doing some work in the garage. At 1705, my car was finally driven out of the garage. Even with an appointment, it took over 4 hours for this company to change 4 tires. There are half a dozen of tire stores in that area. Also, the customer service did everything they can to please me. Jeff, the manager of the place, went out of his way to help me and get me the best price.

We've used Mavis four times now (three at our local shop; one while traveling). In all cases they have done the work quickly, with an accurate estimate, and with a great attitude toward customers. Many big shops lack any combination of those features. It's great to have a repair / tire place that we're comfortable going to. Also, pricing has been competitive with other local retailers. It's not my most important criteria though - that's why it's listed down here at the end.

I’ve been using Mavis Discount Tires for years. I purchase tires, get oil changes, get inspections and any general maintenance done there. The guys are really great. They know their product and they go out of their way to get you in and out as quickly as possible. It’s a convenient place to go and it’s very local to my home.

Very unprofessional and overpriced. SCAM! They told me my car had issues it didn't have. I thought it was an issue of location, until I spoke to the regional manager in Northern NJ and realized the incompetence runs uphill in this case. Best to be avoided with so many other options out there.

Mavis Tire has a good name and reputation, and their reps did a good job and were helpful in every aspect. I had Cooper tires and a brand new one from another brand. They are excellent. They've been running for more than three years and my other ones have been running since last year. I've also had the brakes for three months and I've had no issue with them. I also got routers from them, too. The best thing about them is they're open seven days and on Thursdays they have late hours but it would be better if they have another day for late hours in their store. Other than that, everything is good and I recommend Mavis to everybody.

I had a gas leak and Mavis is the only place I will take my Jeep. They are wonderful there. We have been using them for over 5 years and I trust them whole-heartedly. They are fair and reasonable and do not rip you off. The technicians are fabulous, especially Colby. I only trust Mavis with my Jeep and my husband feels the same way with his Jeep. They are friendly, fair, and go out of their way to take care of you. They took me to work and when my Jeep was done... delivered it to my workplace. I love this place and never have to worry when I have an issue. I am a customer for life!!! I highly recommend Mavis for all your car needs. I brag and send customers your way ALWAYS!!! You guys are my heroes! And Jesse is also just as fabulous! She is a very good fit for your organization! She is a keeper!!!

New tires, oil change, wheel alignment. I would highly recommend the Mavis Discount Tire location in Fishkill, NY. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. Dominic took the time to explain which tire would be the most cost effective and durable due to my long daily commute. Chris and Kevin made sure I understood all the charges involved before proceeding with the maintenance to my vehicle.

I had purchase several set of tires at was formally STS of Westfield NJ, and had service warranties on my tires. I purchased a spare tire for my son, and had to have it repaired under the warranty I had purchased. I had dropped the tire off one morning to pick it up later that afternoon on my way home from work. I was shocked to find that the tire had a huge plug sticking out of the tire and that it was not patched. I was very upset, and told that, "We are Mavis Tire now and we don't patch tires, but we use plug them here instead." They ruined the tire and voided the MFG. warranty. Not only did they ruin the tire, they lost a customer.
I had called corporate and told them what happened, and they said that's their policy, that they are doing well as a company, and never had this complaint, and "We must be doing something right", and that's the way it is. I advised them that their policy goes against most MFG. warranties, and someone is going to get hurt and I was told, "So be it, thanks, but you don't have to use our services." I said, "I had a tire warranty, and your company is not repairing the tires under the MFG. warranty correctly. Sorry, Good bye!" Very upsetting. Very cold!
Now, I learned from this now, I will only use a TIA certified dealer. I have to say, the service manager was out that day at that facility, and when I went back to talk to him he apologized. It's more upsetting that Mavis Tire has not changed their policies and bad for the consumer safety. I don't use Mavis now and have to have my tires serviced at a certified TIA locally.

Mavis Tire is local and I've had good experiences with them in the past so I went with them. I've gone there a couple of times, and recently, for brakes and motors, and then for new tires and had good experiences with both. The repairman talked to me, explained what he did, and was very good.

Don't come to Mavis Discount Tires in Pocono. On the phone they give you one price and after you put the tires they charge you whatever they want. Many extra fee and the wheel balance the worst and after I left the place my tire sensor went on the worst worst place.

I've shopped at Mavis before and I go there because of their fair pricing and location. I have four different cars and I have their Michelin tires. The last one I purchased has already been two years ago. My last visit there was for a car inspection. Their service has always been top-notch and they've been helpful in terms of callbacks.

When think about service for your vehicle steer clear of Mavis, Mount Sinai. Their manager Ciro is very unpleasant and their staff in general is not friendly to their customers. You are better hiring a Craigslist mechanic than the quality of service here!

Sometimes, their services are limited such that they cannot fix old things like find and replace tires, round alignments and brakes. If you want to do something more detailed and comprehensive, they cannot run that because it's out of their scope. Those are the things that aren't good, but I don't blame them for that. Besides, the things I've needed so far worked for me.
Not long ago, I had them switch tires, replace struts and do some alignments on the same car. The tire is great but the struts that they have, they're all lifetime warranty but it's not of the best quality. My struts broke and had been replaced once but now they are broken again which I have to go back for. It's not candy coat quality of service. It's the quality of the product itself. I haven't had a chance to go and I hope they're not gonna give me a problem on it. However, most of the time, all of my issues had been resolved. I cannot complain. They're great and I'm happy to have them there.

All my previous dealings with this particular MAVIS store (Jericho Tpke/Denton ave) have been positive. Thus, when I needed this FL car to be made roadworthy, I didn't hesitate. Normally I deal with Matt, but Steve (new?) proved to be courteous and competent. I needed 4 tires, definitely, and Steve recommended the Pirelli's. Caleb shook his head at the leaking front struts and recommended new ones. Done. Then he did a NY inspection and a brake and steering flush and took it for a test drive. I was there for 5 hours but I left with a 100% safe car. This is why I am a repeat customer!

I have to say that I have been with STS-Mavis for 12 years. We have always received great service on our vehicles. We have had issues where we needed to bring the vehicle back for something a part that they received may have been defective. Nick and his staff have always made it right!!! As long as we reside here, we will be returning to Mavis in Kerhonkson. The cost of purchasing a new car is out of this world and as long as our vehicle are maintained and serviced, we will have them for a long time. Thank you to Nick!!!
