After getting the tires they charged me for mounting, balancing and deposal fee. I told them that I have had the unfortunate plesure of having tires swapped before and never been charged these extra fees. He asked me where I bought the tires? I told him San Diego County. He said well all franchises are differen't and this is the way it was and if I didn't like it I could go back to San Diego for replacement.

When I returned to shop, Gary on phone with friend extolling the virtues of Michellin tires. Did not tell me that Big O tires rated A in traction and B in heat. Found out later that for less $ I could buy Michellins with 80,000 mi. warranty and cost was less. Next day, Gary was off. The tires are used so I'm stuck with them Did see on the net that specific tires had a 30 day trial period. I was not told that. My tires are not in that category. I was mislead and I needed tires because of the radial belts exposed, I would jeopardize myself and others if I drove on those old tires.

When I took my truck back in to Big O Tires in Hanford for them to put my chrome wheels back on, Chad the manager said don't worry Sabrina I will deliver your stock wheels and tires to your house in a couple of days so that you won't get your truck dirty. I thought that was nice only to find out a week later the store closed and my wheels were gone without notice or attempt of contact.

I phoned Mike Beaumont, the Vice President of Big O Tires in Bakersfield, where the same owner Mr. Richard Dimaggio ownes several other Big O Tire stores, to inquire about my property. Mike Beaumont told me, oh well you did not pick your property up within 48 hours which is store policy and we are not responsible, besides I did not see any Expedition wheels and tires. However, Mr. Beaumont also said Chad said I failed to come pick them up. My wheels and tires that Big O Tires stole from me were valued at approximately $1475.

Mr. Beaumont was very rude and did not care about me losing my wheels and tires then advised me to take them to small claims court. This is the second time that Big O Tires has closed in Hanford withing one year, leaving customers like myself in situations that could have been avoided.

Upon getting my truck back from the last rebalance, I was told by the Big O tech that my driver's front was "as close as I could get and if it shakes real bad the only choice is to move it to the opposite rear corner."

So what Rigo had done was put two 1/4-inch spacers on each side so that the rim would not hit the caliper leaving very little thread to tighten the lug nut. Tayyeb said he would let me trade my rims in on some that would fit correctly. He showed me a couple of sets of tires and rims on one set I was going to have to pay $1,600 and on the other $900. I told him I could not afford to pay more than $500. He said that since my tires were used he could not give me much on a trade. I told him that it was his manager's fault for selling me a rim that was not for my truck, putting my family and myself in danger. He said okay that was all he could do.

This morning I go out to leave for work and it is pouring rain and I happened to notice that the tires look low. I stop in a gas station to fill them. They all had about 20 pounds of pressure in them. I of course got soaked. I should not have had to be worrying about air in tires that are less then a year old with not many miles on them. I will never deal with Big O again and wish I could give these tires back with a full refund and go somewhere where there are better work ethics and people care about the work they send out of their business!

The replacement tire was around 80.00 and required me to miss a day of work as Discount had to order the tire. If I send the tire to the manufacturer for replacement I will have to pay for the shipping.

The last time I was there they took my front tires off and replaced them with my rear tires which were in excelent condition. They refuse to replace the bad tires they sold me. What can I do? Louis said that they would only replace them due to road hazard, such as a flat. I am driving on unsafe tires due to this company.

After 14,000 I notice a bad splitting along the bottom side of the front driver side tire, so I became worry and called Art about it and said it will be pro-rated for normal wear and be replaced. Since I am now in Nevada and I felt that it will be dangerous to travel the tire long distance, I decided just to deal with another Big O in Las Vegas.

I was disappointed when the manager told me that I bought an old outdated tire based from the DOT number of the tires. One or two were 5 years old and the others were 6 years old that should not be sold as new. After the final inspection and evaluation of this other tire manager from another Big O, it was then suggested and concluded that I actually bought a set of used tires that may have been driven already between 6,000 to 7,000 miles. That then now made sense why that sudden abnormal wear. This Art are still insisting that he had sold me a set of brand new tires w/c also indicated in the receipt.

I tried to be reasonable to pay some cost for the exchange but he became so defensive and firm that I have to pay whatever the other Big O dealer are now charging me for replacement. I paid $550.50 plus $200 on a supposed-to-be brand new tires that he claimed before was $300 each a year ago.
