If I could give Negative stars I would. I paid 1000$ to get my truck fixed and running - it was towed in with a no crank no start problem. The battery was changed, the electrical systems checked then the spark plugs and fuel system changed and cleaned -- one week later to the day my truck wouldn't start, same problem, when I called I was told I would have to pay for towing and that I would have to pay to have it fixed, so in other words no warranty past the parking lot, I won't even go into the crappy customer service I was presented with when I called and like always there was no manager on duty. No one there could help me. I will never use your service again and I'm canceling my accounts with you. I should have never used your company in the first place, expensive mistake. I will also tell everyone I see to do the same.

I've been a customer for 6 years and over the last 2 years I've dealt with the downward spiral of service and quality of their work. Recently They misdiagnosed my vehicle and sold me on complete shocks & Struts without needing them, then had to go back 5 times for them to fix the shocks and struts they installed that I didn't need. It was upper and lower arms that were squeaking (back is still squeaking). I had other mech work done from another mechanic and he noticed that Big O had unbolted my Catalytic Converter for some reason and never tightened it back up, I've had tools left in my engine compartment after having service work done by them, and not 1 time in 6 years have they ever held an actual appointment time.
Most recently I had them check my brakes, I was told my back brakes were at 30%, so I set an appointment, they couldn't fulfill the appointment time, so I went elsewhere, had them do the back brakes, and lo and behold it wasn't the back brakes, it was the front brakes, so my vehicle is now having the fronts done today! It always something with them. This is a very brief run down, honestly too many to detail on here, I should have stopped doing business with them 2 years ago. I've been speaking with a Corporate Manager, I have videos, pictures, emails, and text messages to back all this up. I would definitely consider going somewhere else for your vehicle Maintenace until Big O Tires takes a better look at how their stores are managed.

I bought 4 tires for my car and printed the appt confirmation. Big O installed different tires, inferior to the ones I actually bought, and they confirmed their error. Then they said they would order the right tires and charge an extra $100 for shipping, and refused to refund the $50 deposit they charged me for the wrong tires. I spoke to the manager and got my $50 back, had them remove the wrong tires, and said I would buy tires somewhere else in the future.

Extremely irresponsible shop that doesn't even deserve 1 star. This was in Page, AZ. Worse place I've ever had do an oil change and replace 4 tires. After getting my car back, I heard a really loud noise coming from the driver front where my tire was. I looked and saw a purposely cut the fender well cover. After arriving back to Phoenix, I brought my Honda Pilot to two different Big O Tires and they both confirmed it was purposely cut. One place even admitted they often do that but should get the owner's permission. I called the corporate office twice in the past week as they need to fix what they broke with no return call. Jimmy, from Page Big O Tires first said they would replace it and pay for it, then called and said they would not. I'm very unhappy with this matter that is still unresolved and will continue to contact corporate until they replace the part that the worker had cut as it makes a very loud noise when driving.

BEWARE. CHARGED FOR WORK THAT WAS NOT DONE!!! I took my Jeep in for an oil change. They called and said my Jeep needed an alignment, engine filter, radiator flush, and some other items that totaled $1900. I had them do the alignment and oil change only for $200. The next day when we went to change the engine filter we noticed the oil filter was never changed. I went back to complain and found out they charge me for work that was never done. I got a full refund. If it wasn’t for us changing the engine filter I would have never known the work wasn’t done

Okay let me start with saying that I went to Big O Tires off of South Maryland in Las Vegas. That whole building I hate to say is nothing but scammers. They take your money and do not do the work. They said they did an oil change in my car and they didn't took my money and now my car is ruined. I went back to them to let them know that I know that they didn't do my oil change that I have proof that they didn't do my oil change. They said, "Oh no no it's something else. It's not the oil change." Remind you I had no oil in my car. They tried to cover it up by fixing my VVT cylinders and then call me to tell me, "Oh the engine locked up. You have to come get your car." Remind you I drove my car to them. That location has been caught before doing some skinny stuff and now they're doing it again. I need somebody to reach out to me because this is crazy how they're doing people.

The Manager (**) worked miracles in finally being able to find out what the last issue was - the CLOCKSPRING. Holy COW! Not sure how he was able to figure that one out, but I was overjoyed when he called me to let me know that my car was done and ready to go home! And I even got a ride from a long timer for this Big-O - ** made sure I was taken to and from the shop to my home. These are a great group of hardworking guys! Thank you SO MUCH!!!

They were more than apologetic and refunded my money through making me deal and now have me back as a customer! Very nice customer service from the beginning and I recommend their services to anyone!

I went for oil change and alignment. One person told me the alignment was not needed at all, it was pulling because I need 2 new tires so I said ok just do the oil change today. They insisted car needed fully synthetic oil which I declined.. When I paid they had done the oil change and the alignment. I was told by another associate the alignment was really bad and they performed the service that I was just told was not needed at all. Of course I paid. I didn’t argue. This place is out to totally rip people off! I don’t know if this was becasue I was female but lesson learned, I’m never going to Big O Tires again!

Went there on Sunday August 21st to have a tire repair. While they were removing tire off of wheel they damaged the rim. Rim is off of a new car with less than 10,000 miles. So talk to manager on Monday the 22nd and they said send them pics and they will get wheel taken care of. Few weeks went by and never heard anything from them so I called the store and the manager that I talked to denied talking to me and lied about his phone number. When I gave him the cell phone number I text and have pictures of text where he said they would take care of the wheel. Now I got passed on to the district manager. His Name is Dan and same old stuff.
Long story short finally got wheel over to them, so they can send off to have professionally repaired and I go and pick the car up and look at the professional repair job and it looks like they took the tire off and employee took wheel around back of shop and spray painted wheel over, spray all over the outside of the wheel. No Dan won’t answer phone and return calls. Have contacted Big O Tires corporate and just get the runaround there and the complaint line, so wouldn’t do business with them they won’t repair the damages they do to your car. Added pictures of damage and the spray paint overspray.

DAY 9 WITHOUT a car because They Lied Cheated & destroyed my car. Putting THE WRONG PART ON MY CAR KNOWING it WAS the WRONG PART to their negligence. Now My CHECK engine light is on and it's NEVER came on in this car EVER. I'm not sure how they broke my catylitic converter but the cameras will. I maintained my car to pristine condition. Walk in and what needs to be done it was a simple yet expensive job.
Big O points out my front drive shaft propeller is about to break & quote me 775 & say w"We are really booked & might not get to it today, but could have it ready by tomorrow." I left, didn't make it and I had it towed to big O the next morning. They said "Don't worry we CAN GET IT DONE TODAY but it might be toward close." I waited with them from 11 am till they neared close. 6 hours later they call me in for BAD NEWS... THEY POINT OUT TO ME THE PART THEY ORDERED was TOO BIG.. Won't FIT and needs to BE AN ORIGINAL PART ordered from infiniti.. Tech gives me the GOOD NEWS that I hadn't damaged ANYTHING ELSE (the only honest one; small skinny guy). I'm baffled by the fact it took them the whole day to notice they ordered the wrong size?
Here's where it starts getting crazy.. They say the ONLY WAY to get this PART IN ALL OF AMERICA is if we order it from infiniti and it's the infiniti in San Jose California.. The part was 1400 and would take 7 DAYS to come and this is just for the part. THEY SAY THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE. The TECH brought me under, EXPLAINING TO ME WHY IT WOULDN'T WORK.. showing me where the size would not work.
HE THEN SUGGESTS I GO GET THE PART FROM a JUNKYARD or find it somewhere and bring it in and they would install it. THE TECH HAD ME TAKE PICTURES OF EVERYTHING, comparing the 2 Shafts etc. so I wouldn't make the same mistake they did. I found the part online and it was coming from CHINA, I get a call from BIG O the next day saying "WE HAVE GOOD NEWS. We took it to our guy. He sized it right and we made it fit right on." This did not sound right. When I asked for the receipt for that shop that "sized" it he said "They didn't charge us so we didn't get a receipt.."
NO WORK ORDER?, NOT even a EXPLANATION? HOW was the part that was to big to fit put on? HE gets mad at me for asking normal questions about the SAME problem I took it for but NOW Upon turning it on it ROARS, something that had NEVER happened. Randomly he says I'M NOT PAYING FOR A NEW CATALYTIC CONVERTER; I NEVER MENTIONED anything about that, he hangs up in my face, calls back saying "Come in we're going to fully refund you." Making me ask what else did they break and what did they do that they're willing to call me back in to refund me such a large transaction??What else did they break? My car's check engine light LITERALLY turns on as I'm on the phone with him and I tell him I won't make it I ALSO have VIDEOS of me driving it all week before I came because I was showing it to other shops..
SO there's no way around what you guys did, for a few thousand at the expense of me and my car? So you don't look bad you lied cheated and stop. I will take it to infinit, I will find out what you guys did and if you don't want to help in resolving there's also many avenues. I will be reporting to The State AG BBB and if the local news is interested in this il send them the story to..
To those who didn't get to hear me talk, now you can get the REAL story as to what happened the guy who refunded kept INTERRUPTING andMicheal's disrespect went as far as telling me "You're not welcome to Big o.." Why, because they broke my car and I asked how?? They would RATHER THROW me and my car under instead of RESOLVING an accident they made...

Had my '17 Hyundai Elantra serviced, December 22, at this Big O Tires and one of their technicians got oil on my headliner. The manager, Adam, had his tech clean my headliner. He scrubbed it so hard that it ruined it. I spoke to the Adam and told him they need to come up with a solution to remedy this situation. He took pics and said he would see what he could do. Upon calling him back, he said he could refer me to Derby City Upholstery, Gary **, and he assured me he would do a good job. I am told it cost $500 to replace my headliner.
I went to Derby City Upholstery in January 23 because I trusted that they would not refer me to a bad company, but also I wanted this to be an easy solution without any difficulty. It was a nightmare from the beginning. The headliner looked lumpy upon install but Gary said that would smooth out over time, it did not. He did not re-install 2 of the small headliner lights properly, one he did not re-connect the wires to it. Gary came out to my job 3 times to do repairs on his work, but he stood me up 6 previous times, no calls/texts. Now the headliner is coming unglued/falling down. Gary has been difficult to deal with all these months, he over promised & under delivered.
A year warranty came with the headliner, but Gary refused to honor it.. Even if he did, I DO NOT want him touching my car ever again! Gary also damaged the roof of my car from the inside so I have 2 small dents that were not there before that you can clearly see was came from the inside that must have been caused from a tool he was used. Big O Tire referred me to this Upholstery company, and they are liable for the problems I have encountered as I would never have gone here had they not referred me. I am a single mom who does not have time for all of the grief and stress this has caused me. I contacted the manager Adam about all of this and was told they are not willing to do anything else for me.

I do not have the invoice in front of me as I am away from home at this moment. But my brakes still will have a caliper activate when I’m accelerating down the road,,, this is the first thing I ever noticed when I knew I had a problem with the car and after having all that work done to the car, it still does this and now there is a new problem occurring which I wonder if that could be a result from extremely hot brakes!!. I have been stranded multiple times on interstate with my children to pull over and wait for brakes to cool as they were excruciating hot.
I called and spoke to Shawnee store. Said my vehicle is not under warranty because Big O had sent my vehicle to Ford to have the ABS module fixed yet but they cannot provide any paperwork saying that Ford of Shawnee had done this work plus Big O. Shawnee is the one who sent the car to Ford to have this done,, Big O did take care of that cost whoever did it,,,,I would think they would warrantee it since they sent my car there. Ford Shawnee has told me multiple times they never touched my car. They never put an ABS module on it. They did not do this work. Yet nobody can show PAPERWORK that this was done.
Also, Big O will not look at my car anymore due to the fact, they say not under warranty because Ford worked on the ABS module, which there is no proof they ever worked on it. There is a lot of hearsay and yet no proof that Ford dealership Shawnee ever four on the new abs module in the first place. I have no idea who actually put on abs, I want all my money back!!!! I am going to have to buy a different car because of all this!!! I keep getting ignored and they can’t seem to keep the brakes from getting excruciating hot and having the caliper stick when accelerating!!!
This has endangered myself and my children as we have to pull over multiple times on interstate!!!! Very dangerous!!!! Plus after they put on the abs module I assumed I would have a safe vehicle so money was spent on a new starter and new ignition,, another 1000 put into my car,, I planned to use this car at least a few more years and was going to give it to my daughter!!!! Plus one time when the car was being fixed at the Branson Big O location they put on the wrong size of rotors and the wrong size of pads!!!! This ruined our spring break and we had to waste tickets to a theme park because of this break down!!! I have had a lot of fear driving my car because when this happens, it is very scary driving higher rate of speed on the interstate.

Do not go to Big O tire on Eagleridge in Pueblo, Co. I went in for a basic oil change and to get new tires. I left the vehicle there. I drive a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek. I was when the car was ready to come get it. I go in the store and the manager Geoff let me know after the alignment (which we did not ask for) the car was running weird. It was shaking and acting like something in the transmission is messed up. The car has never ever had problem. So my husband drive it one block and it was bad. We took it right back in and they found out what was wrong. They drained the CVT transmission fluid instead of the oil and topped off the oil and left the transmission fluid empty. It's a mechanics daily job to do a basic oil change. Do not trust this place or their mechanics.

I have had an awful experience with this location of Big O. It started with them putting the wrong tires on the truck. They replaced them and corrected the mistake but the alignment was off on the truck. I brought the truck in 3 different times in the 10 days or so after the initial alignment, each time telling me it was fixed. The truck was pulling to the right. Finally in the last visit I was told the alignment is straight but they were having trouble getting the steering wheel to be perfectly aligned as it was slightly off to the left. Fine I said. I spend way too much time there already for a simple tire change. Now, I have two front tires that are destroyed because the alignment was never actually fixed.
I went in on Monday 6/12 and spoke with Gil ** about the situation and asked them to replace the tires. He told me he would order the tires and talk to his GM and for me to come back next day. Gil didn't even look at the tires to see the abnormal wear. I go in on Tuesday 6/13 and speak with Gil again. All he tells me is the GM never showed up and he doesn't control the GM's (Blade I believe) schedule. He would call me when the GM gets in which would be shortly. Never heard from him. So I called same day around closing. Was told GM never showed up. I call again Wednesday 6/14, Gil tells me they want tire rotation records but won't tell me why knowing full well a tire rotation will not fix a bad alignment and instead of having 2 destroyed tire I would have 4.
Gil tells me he will let his GM know and call me back. Nothing later on Wednesday or Thursday from Gil. So I call again this morning. They are not going to replace the tires that are ruined because I was lied to about the alignment being fixed, because the tires had not been rotated. Again all this would have done is destroy all 4 tires because this is not normal tire wear. 5 days of constantly contacting the location for them to do what was right as the tire damage is clearly caused by a bad rotation. Picture is posted of the tire. Which again, no one in the store even bothered to look at. Obviously will not be going back to this location. The GM also runs the location at Cave creek and Rose Garden, which has been GREAT to me, but has now also lost my business. It's just one customer to them so I know they wont care but don't put yourself in the position of additional expenses by going through this location.

Did an alignment at the SPID location in September 22 with a Groupon that was advertised heavily online. When it was completed the counter person Isabel told me that the printer was down and they couldn’t give me print out to show that the alignment was good now. I paid the additional shop fees and was given my receipt. My vehicle still seemed shaky but I work out of town and don’t use my car much and was leaving that week so I didn’t think much about it. I have been back in town for last two weeks and using my vehicle and I can really notice to shake now.
I brought it in today and asked about the 6-month warranty that is clearly listed on the receipt from Big O Tires and the manager Pete looks it over and tells me there is no warranty on Groupon purchases. I let him know that that was not something that was told to me and it clearly shows on receipt it has a warranty. It doesn’t show any Groupon exclusions or promo exclusions. He told me too bad it was a Groupon. When I asked for his name he told me and said to complain to corporate office. Bought all my vehicle tires and the warranty / flat repair from Cameron Park Big O. My wife's car had a tire with a leak. She took it to Big O Cameron Park where I bought them. It was 4PM, they close at 6PM. Big O said they didn't have time to check. She said she didn't mind waiting, as she had time and things with her to pass the time. She didn't say they were argumentative, but it seemed pretty close based on her account of events. She told them she could leave it and pick it up the next day. They finally agreed to just check the tire. Went from too busy to, we'll check it now. Weird. Anyway, they aired up the tire and told her everything seemed fine about a half hour later.
Shortly thereafter the low pressure indicator came on again. Same tire. I took the car back the next day. Explained what happened, must have been the same guy because he said he remembered. I told them they needed to check again. And hung out where I could see them complete the work this time. Low and behold they found a nail this time. Pretty shady way to do business in my opinion. But hey, that's just me.
Tire was actually repaired this time and no issues with that tire. At least when they do the work it's ok, but now have to wonder do they really do it when you aren't watching. It was clear they didn't the day before. Which brings me to another issue with the same Big O. I took in another vehicle about a year later (most recent issue which prompted this review). Different vehicle, another nail. This time they told me they didn't have time to deal with it when I arrived the first time. I said I'd come back the next day. They said that would be great. I show up the next morning and they seemed irritated to see me. Regardless, I told them what was up (again, bought the tires there and the warranty).
One of the guys came out looked at the tire for about 10 seconds and then said I needed to buy a new tire. Now I know I'm not the expert, but the nail was in the tread, not the side wall and they didn't even bother to look any further. I have had shops in the past warn me it may be an issue that requires replacement vs repair before they looked at it, but then they took the wheel, pulled the tire and told me it actually could be repaired. This guy didn't even bother. He just went straight to the new tire solution. I said I'd pass, he walked away with a parting shot of "suit yourself." After using Big O for tires for the past 10 or more years, and putting their tires on at least 5 vehicles, I can guarantee it will never happen again.

The Big O shop was already closed for the weekend. 5/23/22 I took my vehicle back and was laughed at by Brad because big o corporate would not do anything about my complaint and I was told by Mark I didn't pay cash. I got a loan. I felt horrible and used by a group of men who said they test drove the pick up and did not know where the no brakes was coming from!

I have been searching for Michelin tires for my vehicle for some months, and was pleasantly surprised when I search Big O's website and was told inventory indicated they had the tires, and the site allowed me to book an installation appointment. The appointed day came, and I decided to call in order to confirm that the tires were indeed at the location and ready to be installed. When I spoke with an employee at the location, I was told they did NOT have the tires, and had not had that tire for quite some time. He then began to pressure me to come in anyway and buy what they had on hand instead.
This is a sleazy bait-and-switch tactic that is below any reputable company. Big O has proven it falls into this category by allowing its website to sell product it does not have and then coach its employees to attempt to sell something else. Shameful behavior on the part of Big O. I will definitely be buying my tires elsewhere in the future.

I have been a customer for over 40 years but NOT anymore! I had my 2011 Challenger RT in at the Meridian ID store where I had them install 2 new tires on the rear and rotate my 60% tires to the front. I had them do an alignment on the car as I just installed new struts and shocks on it myself as the old ones wore the front tires out. I told them I was planning a trip to AZ in a few days and in fact went on the trip. My wife and I both noticed a vibration in the steering wheel that just kept getting worse, by the time we got to Pheonix we knew it needed help! We went to a Chandler, AZ Big O Tire store to have it looked at. The manager there told me that the store in Meridian, ID missed that my tires were separating the cords and not road worthy, and were beyond the age date of 2115 production?
He said he would do nothing to help me, no spin balancing and no re-alignment work on warranty, he said he would not touch my car! He further told me I need 2 new tires but no talk of an alignment being re-done. I was taken into the service bay to have this told to me and saw my car up on a rack, being as I am a retired mechanic I saw the wear in the inner tire surface and that my toe-in was set wrong! By now the vibration had also caused my front rotors to heat up and warp due to the bad alignment job so the front end shook some when braking as well! I had just put new brakes on the car 3 years earlier.
I then left them and found a Discount tire shop and had them inspect my front tires, they said that there was nothing wrong with my tires but the wear on the inside and that I needed a new alignment done! I was referred to Greulich's auto in Tempe, AZ and was able to get an alignment done there. They did a great job and most of the vibration was now gone as I needed to drive home. Big O Tires' incompetence and lies and lack of warranty has now cost me new tires, new front brakes and a 2nd alignment job! Never again will I trust them!

Had to take my 2000 Ford F-350 crew cab long bed dually in after they put new tires on the back and realign the vehicle. The vehicle as you drive down the road you're turning the steering wheel a quarter of the way each direction just to keep it straight down the road. I never disagreed that it wasn't a line. But it still has problems after they turn around told me, "Oh well the tires were overinflated." Well you're the ones that inflated it to the manufacturer specifications on the side door. So like reduced pressure on it and I pull trailers. And said that's all the problem was. Well the front end is still loose maybe in a line but it still loose. And told me my tires pressure was all the problem was but it's not inflated to the manufacturer specifications.
Well I will be calling MFA come Monday because the store is in Columbia Missouri on the Business loop and I will be calling the headquarters and letting them know what experiences I've had and the problem is still wrong here that it wasn't loose before they did the alignment. Even though the alignment was off it was not this loose. But you know what the customer service advisor at the desk was a real ** about it even when I walked in the door. Tell him there's a problem here. He thought it was just in the back tires since that's where it was. No it's the front loose.

My daughter had her oil changed at Big O Tires at the 700 Englewood, Kansas City, MO location on 1/24/22. On 2/3/22 the "check oil" light came on and before she could get pulled over to do so, the engine started smoking!. She had the car towed back to Big O Tires and found out that the oil leaked out and blew two holes in her engine. Big O started an insurance claim on the problem, but the insurance is saying since there was dirt on the bottom of the car that MAY have been what caused the problem so it is not their fault.
We had the car towed to a Honda dealership and their certified mechanic checked it out in detail. He has proof that the oil drain plug was not installed with a washer/seal so the oil leaked out over the 8 day period. We have presented the evidence to the insurance company AND Big O Tires, but neither will take a second look at the claim. It is over $10,000 to replace the engine that was ruined by a mistake that Big O Tires made and won't take responsibility for.
The worst part -- when my daughter called to tell me about the smoking engine (1:15 am on the side of a Hwy, freezing temps), she was terribly upset. I calmed her down and told her that Big O Tires would step up and take care of their mistake. They talk a good talk, promising all kinds of things, but have literally done NOTHING to rectify the situation. It has been 3 weeks. My daughter is without a car and Big O Tires is turning a blind eye to the havoc they have caused. Phone calls don't get returned and it takes 5 days to get a response to an e-mail. Unbelievable and unacceptable service from ANY company, especially one as big as Big O Tires.

On the 20th of Nov. I had made an appointment at 1:00 PM for a Synthetic Oil change at your Folsom Ca. location. I checked in and was told it would be about 60 minutes to get done. I waited 60 mins and then 15 mins more and another 15 mins, Finally they told me the car was ready for me. I drove home to get a call from Big O that they forgot to reinstall the cover that goes under the transmission and to come back to have it installed. I drove back to Folsom. That took 15 mins then waited about 15 mins to have the part put back on the car. On the way home I heard some scraping noise. When I got home, I looked under the car and saw that the aluminum transmission cover plate was hanging loose and would hit the ground if I hit any bumps in the road.
I called and asked for the manager. He said his name was Hadar N. I told him that I was afraid to drive it back there because I felt it was a SAFTEY ISSUE and that I was concerned that the part might come off while I was driving and could hit a car behind me or damage my car. He assured me that it would be safe to drive it back. I started back to Folsom again, Every time I heard a scraping sound I would slow down even more. Before I got halfway there I had people honking at me because I was leaving a trail of sparks behind me. I pulled off the road and looked under the car. The whole aluminum plate was dragging on the ground. I drove it the rest of the way at about 10 miles an hour, when I got there, they put it on the rack and the part was all torn up.
Hadar N the manager told me they would order a new part from Honda and would call me when it came in. I called. He gave me a time to arrive and I did so. When the car I hope was finished properly, Hadar N the manager handed me my keys and said "ALL DONE". No apology or for anything to cover for my hours of lost time or the fact that they put me in Harm's Way by having me drive the car after I told him the part was hitting the ground and scraping. Not to mention no apology for have a person that is supposed to be a mechanic work on my car that cannot even attach a simple Aluminum cover plate without screwing it up. I filled out a Customer Contact form for Big O Tires with all my contact information and had never gotten any kind of a reply. I will never do business with that company again.

We purchased new tires from Big O 3/19/2020 and have had problems since. I have to fill one of the tires up at least every other day. We bought 4 new tires here and have had nothing but issues with them since day 1. 3 of the 4 have had to be filled with air constantly. Took them in to figure out why, and dealt with nothing but rude technicians treating us like we were trying to get a freebie because we expected our tires, which we paid a lot of money for, to hold air properly. 12/2020 one of my tires lost all air -while I was driving. I had one completely flat tire and one with only 16 psi. The tech told my husband that I hit a curb and kept driving- without even looking at the tires.
After my husband challenged this, they took it in to see what was actually wrong. They said that there was corrosion on the wheels and the beads didn't seal and I would need to pay for a new tire - when I purchased these tires, they told me there was a 2 year warranty- but now saying there isn't. We came to an agreement with Tyler. The guys at Big O are so bad to deal with. I have been filling one of my tires up every other day and 2 others about once a month. Because they have refused to fix this issue properly, my tires have uneven wear. Big O has been a nightmare and is causing significant mental and emotional distress due to me having to stop constantly to fill my tire back up with air, so I am not stuck on the side of the road again due to my tire going completely flat.

We purchased 6 tires for our RV. At the time of purchase we were told they did not have the valve stems required for these big tires. A few days later when we were prepping for a trip, we found that 3 of the tires were very low on air. We took them back to Big O and were told they indeed DID have the correct valve stems and they replaced them. While we were driving, one of the valve stems blew out and caused the middle tire of the triple axle on one side to blow out. Damage was caused to the underside of our RV, the side molding, and also the 2 tires next to the one that blew. At this point, it has only been a few weeks since we bought the 6 new tires from Big O.
We brought the blown tire and told the Manager what happened. We said we wanted 3 new tires at the very least since the faulty installation of the valve stem caused the problem. The Manager ordered the 3 new tires. He said he would at least be able to replace the 1 brand new tire, but he had to check upstream if he could replace the other 2. A few days later, we returned to the shop because we had not been contacted yet. The Manager told us that he was not even going to replace the 1 tire!! And, he wasn't even going to contact us to let us know.

She told them this they then told her there was a small leak but the stuff her dad used to charge it isn’t as good as theirs. So she let them charge it at a cost of $160. It quit in 3 days. Expensive lesson for her.
Fast forward a couple months. My son's car started acting up and stalled out on the road. We took it to Big O’s. They said it needed an alternator. So we pay $600 for the new alternator. Now 2 months later the car is acting up again in some of the same ways and check engine light came on. My husband took it to AutoZone and got the code for the issue which came up as a timing problem. So my husband has us take it back to Big O. They came back saying the valve gasket cover was leaking oil into the alternator. Never even checked what the code came up for and told us that would be $950. They should have noticed the oil all over the old alternator and looked for the problem but did not do that. I would never advise anyone to go here for anything you need a mechanic for.

Less than a week later every time I was back with a flat tire and it was a nail/screw...etc that caused a hole and they missed it. We don't drive this Suburban in the mountains very much and certainly not 4wd type of roads. Mostly pavement driving. People, please, please avoid going to Big O Tires in the FH. I took my car in to the Ford dealer because I was hearing a noise coming from the wheels. $80 later I was informed that the tires I had purchased at Big O a year and a half ago were all cupping and that's what was causing the noise. I took my car to Big O in the FH where I purchased them, and they informed me that they were not going to honor the warranty on the tires because I couldn't show proof that I had the tires rotated. I told him that I rotated the tires at my Brother's house who has a lift and they said that wasn't good enough. I spoke with the Owner JJ who rudely said the only thing that would cause this cupping was not rotating the tires or bad shocks and they would not honor the warranty on the tires. When I told him that Ford said the tires were bad he got upset and kept repeating himself.
I went to pick up my car and was informed by the employee Juan ** that I had to sign a document before he would give me my car back. I also asked him if he had rotated the tires and he said no, that they don't rotate tires that are cupping. He also said that on the back of my original invoice was all the exclusions. When I showed the original invoice that had nothing on the back pages to Juan he said he didn't want to talk about it. He then conveyed to me that I had told his boss to ** Off. I informed him that I would never have said that and he told me I was not going to get my keys until I signed. I called the YCSO and they never showed up. Then JJ the owner showed up and I asked him why he would tell his employee that I had told him to ** off and he said he didn't tell him that.
Anyway, in order to get out of the place I finally signed the invoice. The YCSO never contacted me and it was almost 6PM. (YCSO contacted me @ 6:20pm.) Last year while travelling in my RV pulling my Suzuki SUV in Utah, I noticed a huge puddle under the front of my Suzuki. Thankfully I was right next door to a Big O tire store. The people there were great and diagnosed the problem that the axle that I had just replaced at the Foothills Big O was not properly installed and was about to fall out. Wow, I was sure glad I noticed the front differential leaking. Could you imagine what would have happened if the axle had fallen off? Which it was just about to happen. The total bill over $800 was covered by Big O because they said it was improperly installed. When I returned to Yuma the Owner of the Foothills Big O didn't want to talk to me about it.
I have 4 vehicles and have always bought my tires and had all my cars serviced at Big O Tire. I have always defended the company because I figured that things happen and have had good service at other Big O tire shops. I have never in my life been treated in such a manner as today. This was it for me, I should have listened to all the other folks that have had terrible experiences with JJ and Big O Tire. Please take your vehicles to some other tire store in Yuma. This place is Bad!! So now I have to replace all my tires with less than 18K miles. Don't believe it when they want to shove a warranty down your throat or give you 4 tires for the price of 3!

They finally came back with a 'Quote' that called for replacing every single gasket on the entire engine + numerous other repairs such as spark plugs/wires and coolant service.
The total service quote (#**) was for $1401.72. They wanted me to leave the truck for repairs. I refused. I then added UV sensitive additive to the oil that is meant to highlight oil leaks. I drove the truck for a week and then went to the local Chevy dealer. The only oil leak they verified with the UV light was at the oil plug---a $5.95 replacement. I left a detailed sheet on the exact problems and what I wanted corrected. Also, I asked that no tire dressing be applied as it splattered both sides of the Jeep after the initial visit. After several emails and not even one response from the company I decided to go ahead with my reviews.
I brought my 2008 Toyota Camry to Big O tire on 11/24/2020, I actually had it towed there. It had gotten hot and I had previous work done here before with no issues so trusted this was a reputable establishment. I called the manager Troy to let him know I had it towed there and asked him to check it out. He gave me a call back afterwards and said the radiator was cracked and that’s why the car overheated. He said it would be around $980 but with the Black Friday deal he could do it for $930. I thought that price was high, but I don't know a lot about cars and had to have the car so told him to go ahead. He said bring it back Friday to make sure nothing else was messed up. My daughter was driving it at the time so I had her run it by Friday and he said everything was good to go.
My daughter continued driving the car and then started having issues again. She took it back to Troy and he said the spark plugs were bad so he reached them all at a cost of $165.00. Daughter keeps driving the car and it starts driving weird again so she takes it back to Big O and Troy said there was an air bubble in the line that he popped and it should be fine and sent her in her way. Later than afternoon I got a call from my daughter and said she was stranded and the car would not start. I told her to call Troy and I was on my way.
I arrived with my daughter and popped the hood and noticed liquid glass splattered all over the engine. I didn’t realize what it was at the time, as I’m not a mechanic, but noticed it didn’t look normal. Troy sent 2 of his employees who plugged something into the car. They got it started and revved the engine for about 5 mins more minutes, white smoke coming from the back. The codes were reading a misfire for spark plugs (we just put all new ones in). The older guy asked if I wanted to drive it back to the shop or did I want him to. Not know a thing about cars I said I didn’t want to drive it. This was the Saturday before Christmas. Had to call Troy Monday to see what was going on and he said he had some stuff he was going to put in my car and hoped that would fix the problem, but never really said what the problem was.
We called him all week long about the car and kept getting the run around and finally Christmas Eve he said it was running and he would leave it out. We go to pick it up and it won’t start so here we are on Christmas Eve and can’t get the car home so had to call a tow. Took it to a referral mechanic who said the head gasket was cracked and the heads blown. He said it should have NEVER been driven when the white smoke was coming out and that the white spots was a clear indication there was a serious problem! He said they put stop leak in my car that made a massive mess and caused more damage to my car (I have the pics). Mechanic said they put enough stop leak in my car that would be for a 8 cylinder vehicle...way too much!! He said they should have never put stop leak in my car yo begin with, the issue NEEDED to be repaired!
I called Troy and all he said was that he could only warranty the parts!!!! I had to redo everything Big O charged me for and pay that labor all over again plus a bunch more work and damage caused by big o. Now I have more than double what it should have cost if the work was done properly and that additive wasn’t put in my car. Still having issues. Going to have to pay $800 to have a heater core put in cause the stop leak ruined it. Big O did a flush but didn’t help it at all. Because of this company I am now over $3200 in repairs in a 2008 Toyota Camry...and still having issues with my car that only had 85,000 miles on it when I took it to Big O!!!

Please don't be the person who just shakes your head yes when they tell you your rotors are in need of resurfacing. They are very likely taking advantage of you and for lack of a better word they are liars. The Phoenix Foothills store played this game with me. I told them (as I usually install brake pads myself) that I originally asked to put ceramic pads on the vehicle, and was insulted they tried this tactic with me. They also put the cheapest pads (steel composite) on my vehicle as I refused to be taken advantage of having my rotors resurfaced. I pulled the pads off, replaced with quality ceramic and put them on their counter telling them they can keep them. Just to let them know that I knew what they did.

My two front tires vibrate when cold and vibration is less after few minutes driving I explain to the clerk. They took the truck and after over an hour they returned it. They said balance was “out of wack.“ They give me the key, I went to the car and look at the tires. I see it has the same old weights, came back and told them, "How come you said you did balance cause it was bad but you didn’t put new weights?" They start making excuses and totally changing the story. Anyway, I don’t think they rebalance the tires. Maybe cause it was gonna be free and they were not making any money. They just make me waste my time.

The problems at my local Big O store started when I was called about a "loose" TPMS sensor in my tire. Going to the store, I had to explain that the TPMS dash light never illuminated and the sensor was in pristine condition, so not only did I not hear it rolling around the tire while driving, it was not damaged consistent with rolling around. They put it back in when replacing the tires. The service manager never called to let me know the vehicle was ready as he said he would. I called because it was getting close to closing time and I needed the vehicle. The TPMS light was illuminated and the manager said it would go out after a few miles.
A week later t was still illuminated. Clearly they broke it removing the old tire and didn't want to pay for it. It took another two trips to the store to get them to replace the TPMS and again, they didn't call (as the manager said he would) when the vehicle was ready. When I paid for the tires, I asked if this was six months-no interest. The manager said it was. When I received my first credit card bill, there was interest. I called the credit card issuer and they removed the interest but said I needed to go to the store and have them call to have it "coded" as 6 months-no interest. I went to the store (again) with a copy of the invoice and notes of what needed to be done. The manager said he would call at the end of the day. Next month - same thing - interest charge.
Clearly they are a bait and switch operation or incompetent or BOTH. I didn't mention that when I drive to this store, I gave to pass a Pep Boys and Discount Tire. Three months later, I'm still trying to get this resolved, Big O Corporate is no help, the store is useless, the credit issuer has done what they can do, but can't keep removing the interest when the store won't follow through.

I regrettably purchased a new set of tires for my Jeep Wrangler at the BIG O TIRES in Bakersfield, CA on Ming Ave. When I arrived they treated me just fine and were helpful in choosing a tire UP UNTIL THEY HAD MY MONEY. THIS IS WHERE THE NIGHTMARE BEGAN, when they installed my new tires they broke 4 of the studs where the wheels were mounted. They never checked their work for safety and allowed me to leave that shop in that condition. Thankfully I noticed my tires rubbing as I was leaving so I parked and MY JEEP NEVER LEFT THE LOT THE ENTIRE TIME. I walk inside to inform them of the issue and they tell me to pay for spacers and that will fix the issue that they should’ve checked before I attempted to drive away and possibly be fatally injured when I lose a tire on the road.
Once I told ERNESTO (the BIG O TIRES’ manager for the Bakersfield Ming location) the issue, they lifted the Jeep up and checked the tires, upon inspection of the tires I was standing there as they checked them and noticed they completely broke 3 studs on my rear driver side wheel and Big O completely ignored it. I told ERNESTO of what I saw and HE NOT ONLY TRIED TO BLAME ME FOR BIG O’s BIG MESS UP, HE EVEN TRIED TO CALL ME A SCAMMER AND SAYS, “How do we know you didn’t bring it broken?” He then asks the Tech that worked on my Jeep if he noticed them broken when he worked on it and the Tech says “I don’t know”, obviously trying to mask their scandalous ways of taking advantage of customers who already paid.
In the end, I had to argue and present my point in order for Ernesto (the manager at BIG O) to do the bare minimum and fix what the shop broke. They ended up only partially fixing the problem and lying about it. There was 3 wheel studs stripped and broken by BIG O TIRES and they only replaced 2 of them just to get it on the road and out of their hair. They lied to me of course and said the whole problem they created was fixed. Of course because they didn’t want to accept fault Ernesto even had the audacity to get belligerently in my face and say they’re gonna fix the problem this one time as a favor to me, as if they didn’t just break it!
I spent 2,000 on new tires with BIG O TIRES so that the management can harass me and make me feel helpless of the situation just because they already had my money, also once they knew of the problem they created it took them 2 days to fix it because they said they had other customers coming in, when it should be first come first serve. When I came early in the morning to pick up my Jeep from the shop I noticed BIG O wasn’t even open yet and they left my Jeep outside in the parking lot overnight with the windows down. If I wasn’t busy with work and it was worth my time I would definitely sue them for damages and suffering. Do not buy tires from BIG O TIRES on Ming Ave in Bakersfield California. Once the manager Ernesto had my money I was no longer of any importance. This is a warning to all.

The guy I spoke to, Jason, gave me an "estimate" less than one third the total final cost. He kept calling and adding on extra parts and slipping in extra costs for things I had already covered with him. When I told him I was fed up and wanted to back out, he said "Too late, it's done, pay the bill and call your lawyer if you dont like it." Well, it's a lot cheaper to just warn everyone I can to steer clear. There's plenty of other, better, more honest shops I can take my car to.

The Short: Poor quality of work, poorer customer service, unprofessional staff, and long wait times.
The Long: Most people (like myself) are not mechanics. We need trustworthy, high-quality, and reliable auto shops to provide care and maintenance for our vehicles in a timely, convenient, and professional manner.
Big O Tires on Fillmore fails on all fronts. My 1-star review shares the same problems in a long line of Fillmore Big O Tires 1-star reviews - namely, poor quality of work, poor customer service, unprofessional staff, and long wait times...
Poor quality of work: I have had to take my vehicle in for the SAME failed flat repair three times... and it is flat again for a fourth time! On my second visit on 10/19/2020, they said the tire wasn't sealed correctly when the initial patch was installed. *The tire started leaking that same night. On my third visit on 10/24/2020, the assistant manager said the initial patch was installed incorrectly by his techs. He even mentioned that the quality of work depends on the techs he has in that day, and that recently he has had a lot of poor techs. (How is a customer supposed to respond to a statement like that!?!?!) *I took the vehicle for the first drive out since the repair two days later only to discover it was completely flat.
Poor Customer Service: I called Fillmore Big O Tires immediately upon discovering the flat tire and asked to speak to the assistant manager. I explained that this was the third failed flat repair attempt by Fillmore Big O Tires. I explained the difficult situation their poor service has put me in (had to cancel multiple meetings, physical therapy, and still have to pick up kids from daycare in the evening in bad snowy weather). He said they would "get it sorted out" if I could bring it in. I asked him to pay for a tow truck. He said "I can't pay $99 for a tow truck. It's a free service." I told him it was poor customer service and he lost a customer that has done business with Fillmore Big O Tires since 2015. I even went so far as to explain the massive hole in his logic: if a fast food chain offered free food that was undercooked and caused food poisoning, 1) who's responsible? and 2) do you think customers will ever buy from their menu? No!
Big O Tires doesn't offer free flat repairs for no reason - they offer it because its good business! They capture more customers when they offer something free. That also means their free services/products must represent their quality of work and integrity as a business. Otherwise, no one will buy. The assistant manager did not demonstrate an understanding that the quality of his free service actually matters. Just because it is free doesn't give the business an excuse to avoid owning their mistakes. Good businesses understand that customer service is highest priority. I do not believe Fillmore Big O Tires understands this principle. The absence of this mentality is what puts businesses out of business. You lose lifelong customers.
Unprofessional staff:
- Staff cuss in front of customers (most recently the assistant manager swore and complained about a distributor right in front of me).- They take your phone number if you drop your car off so they can call you when it is ready to pick up. From the last three visits to Fillmore Big O Tires, I have been called zero times.
- The assistant manager has a sign by his station saying he has a medical exemption from wearing a mask during Covid. Fair enough. However, two other employees on 10/24/2020 were working in the lobby, helping customers, etc. without wearing a mask. They didn't even have a mask around their necks.
Long Wait Times: Each of the last three visits, I was told my flat tire repair would take 1 hour. Each visit took a minimum of 2 hours. One even took 3.5 hours.
I will be going elsewhere for all vehicle needs moving forward. I also cannot recommend them to anyone. I will even recommend people avoid Fillmore Big O Tires. Auto Shops are a dime a dozen - people deserve business that cares for their vehicles!

I have used the Big O on Crismon in Mesa many times in the past and although they were expensive I felt they did a good job. Recently I purchased a used BMW X5 and felt it needed an alignment. When I took it to Big O the first words out of his mouth was that it would be a specialty alignment as it was a BMW. He wasn't even sure they could do it. I talked to a guy the next day who said they could do it and that it would run $100. I set up an appointment for the following morning.
The next day when they got it up on the lift I was called back so they could point out some parts that would need to be replaced. In all honesty, I suspected as much and was prepared to have them replaced, I also had an idea of the cost. Unfortunately, their estimate came back way high, $1400 for something I knew would only cost $150 for parts. I asked them to lower the car, that I would do the work myself and when complete I would bring it back for the alignment.
I ordered the parts and in my garage, I took two and a half hours to replace all the parts and some addition parts as well. I took my car back to the Big O for an alignment. The guy at the counter now tells me they don't make appointments, it's first come first serve and the tech starts at 8 am. So I was there early to make sure I was first in line but now the estimate was $149. He said it was because it now has replaced parts and that's the way they have been doing it for 7 years. I would challenge that if he didn't know I replaced the parts would it still be $149. I'm all for company's making money and I understand their overhead is high but I felt this whole pricing shell game was completely dishonest. I personally will find another place to do work on my cars.

2013 HONDA CIVIC ( for teen son's car)- only gave one star because I had to: 10/04/20 came in for oil change and TPMS (put new sensor on tire); I asked for diagnostic test; they said they only need to do vehicle inspection for 24.99 since check engine light not on. Big O said I needed coolant flush, shocks, and struts. I paid $1743. 10/07/20 car had trouble starting. I had to press on gas three times and never had to do that before. I noticed no oil change on receipt and TPMS light was back on. I took car back, ordered oil change again and TPMS light removed again. Asked them to do a full diagnostic check AGAIN but this time for free.
The next day 10/08/20 they said they don't think anything is wrong with car. It starts just fine. Maybe the battery is weak. Big O said car is ready. My teenage son picked up his car. They charged me for oil change; made no recommendation for battery. AGAIN, they only did vehicle inspection, but did not charge for it. They DID NOT run the $130 one requested. Today: 10/10/20 car needed jump start. Check engine light "check emissions system" is ON and oil percentage is 60%; and TPMS light is back on...
I had NO check engine light on this car; and no issues starting car; I came for an oil change and tire sensor; I paid $1800 for things they said were needed to have the car running better so my son will have reliable vehicle and now I am scared to drive the car and may have to take time off of work to find out what is wrong with the car/ and/or pay for additional repairs. FYI: I was in there the 09/26 for my car and gave them $1,200 worth of business on my car to make sure it was completely ok; I got an email on 10/08/20 saying that they recommended steering and suspension repairs. WHICH THEY NEVER RECOMMENDED; so I needed additional work on my car and you DON'T TELL THE CUSTOMER??? They don't care to make sure work is done correctly. When I paid BIG money for their services. DO NOT USE BIG O TIRES. I would give 0 stars if I could. I took my car in to Big O twice and told them about a really concerning noise and shaking that was happening in my car. The first time they charged me $350 and claimed to have fixed the problem, but didn't. I took it back in, they said they definitely fixed it this time and charged me $700. But it still wasn't fixed. I had a friend ride in it with me (who isn't even a mechanic) and he immediately knew what was wrong with it. I took it in to Big O one last time and told them what my friend said was the problem. They looked into it and then agreed with him about what the problem was.
My friend literally gave them the answer after they failed twice to find it themselves and he's not even a mechanic. They then told me it would be around $3000 to fix. The value of the car is around $5000 so it's not even worth fixing at this point. I never would have spent the first $1000 if I had known that fixing the actual problem would cost me $3000. Now I'm out $1000 that I could have put towards a new car. Big O did not care in the slightest that they charged me $1000 and didn't fix what I wanted fixed. Do not take your car here!

So I went in to get my brakes done, because my steering wheel shakes I knew I needed rotors for sure, and check what a knocking was in the drivers front. I told him I was diving to Alberta and back and wanted it to be safe with my girlfriend and son along for the ride. I asked how much does he think around $500? He said no not that much. So I was extremely surprised when I show up to get my car and it’s $430 for two back rotors, no pads or anything and also no idea what the knock is.
After picking up my car I notice there is a seatbelt warning, I went back the next day as they asked to make sure my lug nuts were tight. I mention the seatbelt warning and they say I need to do it in my settings... as if I didn’t already try that. I would have really liked a phone call about spending that much on just rotors when I was already quoted $600 for all new pads and rotors in Duncan. So I am stuck with a seatbelt warning light, a knock in my front end that he was at least honest and said he has no idea what it is, and a ridiculous bill for two rotors. Will never go back again! I also picked this place because I have a flexiti card which it states Big O Tires is a merchant I can use my card at, he stated he doesn’t. If I could do zero stars I would. First I dropped off two new tires and two new rims to get mounted. I got there at opening before 7:00AM. The man at the counter told me he would call me when they were done. No call, so I called at noon, he told me they were done. I got there in about 10 mins to pick them up. I picked them up and dropped off two more new rims and tires to get mounted. I called at 3:30 PM to see if they were done, he told me no, but they are in line and will be done before close of business and that he would call me when they were ready. I never got a call, so I went there at closing, not even started. When they finally got done they loaded them in my car.
When I got home I noticed both of my new $325.00 a piece rims had gouges in them. I hopped back in my car and got back there about an hour after closing. I showed the counterman them and he told me to leave them for the Manager the next day. Then I noticed the center caps were not installed. I told the guy they were new in the box rims. We went and dug through the dumpster. Sure enough, the boxes and the center caps were in the dumpster. I didn't get a call the next day.
Again, I didn't get a call the day after that, so I called and talked to the Manager. He told me those gouges were normal. I told him I have been getting rims done for 40 years and never had mine gouged. The two I had done in the morning were not gouged. He told my I got lucky to not have the two in the morning gouged. Can you believe what he told me? I should expect to have my $325.00 a piece rims gouged. I told him I had at least 20 sets done by that store with no problems. He said I was very lucky then. I guess these people are not skilled at all, just lucky every now and then.
I paid $152.00 for four tires to get Mounted and balanced. I could go a lot cheaper, but they always did good by me, that is why I was a repeat customer for a long time. I have 7 cars, always need tires. He also told me if I bought a steak and brought it to a restaurant and they didn't cook it right, would I get a new one. Well if you are paying $152.00 for a professional job, hell yes! He also told me, since I didn't buy the rims from him he would not take care of me. What difference does it make where I bought them, he charged me a service fee for brand new very expensive rims.
When I asked him for corporate's number, he wouldn't give it to me. He said when I come to pick up the rims, it's on the wall. He also told me it's better if I don't come back there anymore. Fine with me, as long is he is still Manager, no worries there. There is a Discount directly across the street. I can not express how bad the customer service is there. I tried calling corporate, was on hold for 55 mins before an announcement came on saying they had technical difficulties. I guess Big O just don't care. If you use them, make sure they don't mess up your wheels. If they put new tires on your rims that are on the car they will be gouged and they are not responsible for that. Can you believe that logic. This is the Manager! Unbelievable.

I took my 2010 Ford Ranger to the Big O in Santa Cruze, CA. It needed new tires and brake work. No problem. They also suggested some other services which I agreed to. In the end, they charges me for a cabin filter (a 2010 Ranger does not have one). They said our mistake. The bad news gets worse. When they turned the front rotors, they crushed the grease caps and grease leaked out - I don't know why they even took them off as it's not necessary! They also destroyed the boots on the outer tie rods. Sadly I can't prove this as I don't have before pictures, but the Ranger had less than 42,000 miles on it. I was just happy to get out of there with some cash in my wallet and my truck back.
Flash forward a couple of months - the right front tire was bouncing too much so I took the Ranger to the Big O on First Street in Livermore. There was no one in the store (Coronavirus) and the two mechanics I saw in the shop were doing nothing. I went inside and when acknowledged, told them that the right front tire was either out of balance or out of round. I presented the bill from the Big O in Santa Cruze and was once again asked what I wanted. I again said, "Would you please check the right front tire and it bounces at highway speeds and I think it is out of round or out of balance". I was asked if I was going to leave the car. I said no, I did not have a ride and would wait. I was told an hour and a half to two hours wait. I still don't know why - no one was doing any work.
About an hour later, I was told I needed a front end alignment, my outer tie rods replaced and a tune up. Oh, there was nothing wrong with my tire, it was with the tie rods or it needed a front end alignment? Based on 4 years ago I needed new tires and thought I'd splurge and get new rims. I wanted to go from 15 inch rims to 17 inch rims and put the widest tires that would fit without modifications. You would have thought I was speaking alien. The salesperson did not understand plus sizing at all - nor what I was asking. This was actually a good thing as I stuck with new tires only (from a different dealer) and save a grand. I'll never go back to any Big O.

I had my vehicle towed to the nearest dealership, the technician there said the drain plug was not put back properly and all the oil spilt out and the engine seized, totaling my vehicle. I called Big O and was referred to their insurance, Acuity Insurance, an insurance company which has a poor reputation among insurance professionals. I am very displeased with the service I've received over the last few days after a blow out tire on the highway. I was on hold for over 35 minutes with one store to be told that they had my tire in stock (after calling multiple stores). After a 30-35 minute drive on a spare (donut) the tire wasn't even the correct tire. I left without getting my tire repaired, I wasted both my time and gas driving and in addition this was occurring with an extreme alignment (heavy pull) issue from the blowout. I called a different store to order the tire, replacement was scheduled for 2 days later. I call the store (where I scheduled for my tire to get delivered) to get an update and again was left on hold for 15 minutes just to be asked what I needed help with after explaining to the first person who put me on hold.
Furthermore and of MORE IMPORTANCE, I experienced multiple sales reps informing ME of inconsistent info which honestly didn't seem to be of any concern to them. I was told by two different reps that having a difference of tread on my tires would not be a concern. I was then told that having a different type of tire (which has a different pattern of tread) would not be a concern. I was then told that having the same depth of tread with a slight difference will be ok, but anything more could damage or mess with my AWD system.
The fact that MY SAFETY NOR FINANCIAL MATTERS are concerns for Big O Tires representatives, is a huge issue and is more than just a customer service complaint issue. Consumers need to be aware of this type of service, it's not ethical nor consistent with their motto! As a consumer, I walk in expecting service and knowledge that I obviously don't have. It's clear that most of these reps have neither the customer service needed nor knowledge or expertise to extend out to their clients. I will NEVER return to Big O Tires.

Not a good experience at the Fort Collins Big O Tire store. Brought in my Lexus SUV in for new tires and alignment. Waited over 2 hours for the work to get completed, longer than expected. When I started the truck, a loud alarm sound went off and several traction warning lights (VGS, VSC) came on. I went back into the shop and talked to the manager about the issue. Several Big O tire employees tried to figure out the issue. The end result was the SUV was not drivable and needed to be towed to the dealer. The dealer found several problems: VGRS actuator assembly failed and the Spiral cable assembly was broken (in neutral, steering wheel would spin around making the SUV un-drivable). Total cost of repair $4990. This is not right, the SUV was in good running condition prior to bringing it to Big O tire, while in their possession something happened to cause the SUV to be un-drivable.
I tried several times (over 4 weeks) to resolve this issue and come to a settlement with Big O tires, but have not gotten a response. Only after writing a review did Big O Tires owners contact me. After two meetings where they spent much time trying to convince me that they did not cause any damage we walked away VERY unhappy. These owners do not care about customer satisfaction. In November 2019, while in the middle of moving to a new city, I got a flat tire while driving on the interstate on a Monday night. When I went to Big O the next day (Tuesday), they said they didn’t have our tire in stock, would “put it on their next order,” and should have it by Thursday. We asked if they could substitute a comparable tire, but manager Mark would not approve the request and said we would have to pay for the new tire unless it was the exact tire we purchased before.
We called on Thursday, no tire. We called Friday, no tire. We called Saturday and again asked them to honor the warranty and just get us a new tire, as we had been driving around on a spare tire all week. They refused. My husband is currently at the store still trying to get ANY tire put on our vehicle so we can get back to packing and move this week. I consider myself a very capable mechanic.
I checked multiple times for ANY movement in end links, tie rods, or ball joints. Nothing showed wear or sloppiness. After he test drove it, he told me that he thought the noise was coming from my brakes, rotors, etc. He put it up on the lift and removed the tires and said I also had a busted/broken caliper and that the rotors, brake pads and caliper needed to be replaced. I asked if he was sure this was the problem and he told me yes it would get rid of the noise that my truck was making. I paid $654.53 to have the work done.
Maybe 1-2 days later I hear the same sound again. WTH! I paid $654 and my truck now sounds worse. I took it in again, told Kevin that my truck was making that same noise. He again took it for a drive and said he could not hear it. I told him that I brought my truck in because of the noise it was making and paid too much money to be having the same issue. He told me that he couldn't hear anything and to keep driving it. Again the noise and I bring it in again and tell him of my truck making the same noise. His response to that was to drive it and to let the sound get louder and then bring it back in to him to fix it.
Well the sound has gotten louder and when I called Big O to let Kevin know they tell me that Kevin does not work there anymore and that they do not have any mechanic at the Brooklyn Center location where I had taken it before and that I can take it to another location to have a mechanic look at it. So being 25 miles from my home I was forced to purchase two more tires from Big O Tires and I will be contacting corporate to report the dealership on Pecos Road in Henderson/Las Vegas Nevada where I was not only treated poorly but robbed blind. Stephen ** at the front desk helped me like he was my best friend, yet he didn't know me. I needed new brake pads, rotors, 4 tires & a few more repairs done but I only had a certain amount budgeted for today, which wasn't enough. Stephen kindly offered to help me fill out 2 different credit apps to see if I qualified so I could have everything done today? Sadly I didn't qualify so Stephen went even further & asked the mechanic in the back if there was anything he could do to lower the price? He came back & said they're able to resurface 1 rotor which saved me a lot of money. I was going to walk to my bank to withdraw the money needed since my car was already up on the lift. My bank's only 5 blocks away, but Stephen said, "No, I can take you in the company truck really fast." So kind & helpful! I will be bringing my car back for any & all services needed in the future. I should have learned my lesson a few years ago, but I guess I didn't. I sent my daughter to Big O Tires on Rock Springs in Las Vegas, NV. When my daughter got home she saw that the right rear hub csp was missing. They told her that 2 of the clips were no good, so what did they do, put the hub cap back on and told me that it probably fell off when she was driving. I asked why did you even put it back on in the first place knowing that 2 clips were no good. Couldn't get a straight answer from the manager who was Michael ** and they charged her for Tire Protections $44.72. She did not request that and was not asked if she wanted it.
This happened to me a few years ago. I contacted the corporate office and got a refund. I contacted Big O Tires at Rock Springs and was told to call the corporate office. I have been calling the corporate office since 10/10/18 and leaving message after message for someone to call me so this $44.72 can get credited to my credit card. I guess they leave me no choice but to contact my credit card company to have this charge reversed. I even left a message stating that "this is the corporate office and why is there a recording?" Someone should be answering the phone.

I had all 4 tires replaced from former NTB at the Arden Hills location in July 2017. I have 15000 miles on them with one tire rotation. I came for a simple rotation and oil change. They did not have a filter. They are telling me that the front tires are bad due to infrequent rotations. He also wanted to tell me issues with my rack and pinion. He kept trying to sell me 2 tires and said they are not under warranty. He also wanted to charge for the unlimited tire rotation I have. After 2 hours of nothing getting done, I told them to put the old oil filter back in and get my car out of the garage. He wanted to charge me for the oil with a dirty filter. The next day I see a poodle near the driver side wheel. And where I park my car at night has no spots. It looks like a boot of some sort was cut and is now leaking. They are crooks. Horrible experience. Never go to Big O Tires. I'm guessing they'll be gone in a year or two.

The tire has no external evidence of anything that would cause it to go flat, no holes or anything. I don't understand. Brought my smart car with less than 17,000 miles to Big O Tires Redding Ca for a basic oil change. Never any issues with the TPMS indicator on my tires until after the oil change was completed. Three weeks ago I had Firestone replace my brake pads and that is the only work I have had done on this car and they removed the rim and there was no damage at that time. I called Big O after low tire warning on the drive home immediately after the oil change and they said to bring it back so I did. They just reset the TPMS indicator light and said it was fixed and said they did rotate the tires and balance them free of charge on my first visit and they must have forgot to reset it.
I drove away and the light came on again and now my rear tire is losing air. I inspected the rim and noticed it’s bent and I also found out that they were not supposed to rotate the tires on my car as it states on the door panel as the front and rear are different sizes. I brought it back again and they said it’s not their responsibility and did nothing. I informed them that by rotating my tires they caused other damage on my suspension and they asked me to leave.

Made an appointment at the Skyview store and the manager there told me they were already running an hour behind and it would take over 2 hours to balance my tires which is all I needed at that point as I rotated them myself because they were wearing down in the front. I then went to the Liberty store and the manager there told me he would take care of me, but after 2 hours of waiting he told me he couldn't balance my tires because he would have to put weights all the way around the wheel. In late December 2017 I took my vehicle to Big O Tires for new tires and an alignment. Shortly thereafter (next day) my right rear axle seal developed a severe leak. I took it back to them but once the vehicle was on the lift it was evident that the leak had developed prior to my visit, it was just coincidence that it became severe immediately following them doing the tires. I am an automotive technician myself and am fully capable of the repair myself. However it was a week before Christmas and I had family coming in 2 days. I did not have the time to do the work myself and I needed my vehicle operational, so I had little choice but to pay them to do it.
The work was performed, and about 2 weeks went by and after my family left town, I noticed my axle seal was leaking... again. So I took it back and they told me that it was leaking because the axle was scored and needed to be replaced but that I had chosen not to replace it. I told the guy at the counter that nobody had ever contacted me regarding the axle needing to be replaced and I have the paperwork from them that proves that. Furthermore, I asked to see THEIR copy of the work order which I quickly took a picture of as it too proved that nobody contacted me about the axle.
I received a call from the store owner the next morning who was very nice and said he would take care of everything but that he had to source a used axle and that would take about a week to get, which I was ok with. I got my vehicle back and everything was fine for about 3 months, then I began hearing a rattle noise from my rear suspension. Upon further investigation, I found that my parking brakes (which was also done as it was damaged by the axle seal leak) were assembled completely wrong. One side wasn't even attached (the rattling) and the other side was pieced together wrong and was jammed and engaged.
Furthermore, it was evident that the person that performed the work was aware of the parking brake malfunction that he caused, because his remedy was to fully loosen the adjustment on the un-jammed side (which is why it became unattached later on) and also the cable adjustment was literally hanging on by 1 thread. The parking brake left their facility teetering on the edge of complete failure and the guy that did the work not only knew it, but was the one who put it together wrong to begin with!!! I contacted the store owner and again he was very nice and offered a refund for the failed work because I stated that I felt the work from his store was not something I could trust. A refund was issued and I went on my way.
Now another 3 months have passed and now my tires are wearing uneven (vehicle needs alignment). The vehicle is a second vehicle and has only had about 4k miles put on it in the last 7 months, since the alignment was done. So Big O Tires has failed for the last time. I have been buying tires from that store for nearly 20 years but I will NEVER go back there again. With a 100% failure rate of MULTIPLE jobs performed... it's obvious they employ incompetent mechanics.

So when I took my car in a couple days later, they could not get the tires off of my car and said I needed a key. And since I didn't have a key they wanted me to take it to a dealership to buy a key. I first encountered Big O tires in the Yuma Foothills about 20 years when I took my RV in for some routine tire maintenance. My vehicle was damaged while at their shop and after a very heated discussion with the owner, she gave me a $100 "settlement" for the damages. Turns out that was less than half what the actual cost was. I said I would never go back to them.
Last year, I had a flat on a rear dual and decided to try them again as I didn't want to drive 17 miles to another dealer on a flat. They said they couldn't repair the tire because it was 6 years old (I always replace any tire when it hits 7 years). Then they said the rotors were beginning to crack so I told them to replace them and any other bearings, seals, etc. that needed to be done. Total was over $4300 including 6 new tires. Yesterday (5/29) I took the vehicle back for routine balancing and aircheck. I was told I had an oil leak in the front bearing seal.
This was supposed to have been replaced last year and the part appeared to be brand new. Again a very heated discussion with the shop manager and they refused to stand behind their work from the previous year. The manager and another employee were very rude and totally lacked any experience in good customer service. I now know that I should have followed my own advice of 20 years ago. I will NEVER do business with them again and will tell my many friends to stay away from Big O.

Two and a half years ago, 35,000 miles ago, I paid Big O Tires in Draper, Utah $600 for a set of 4 tires for my 2014 CHRYSLER Town & Country minivan. They told me that the tires were warrantied for 80,000 miles. I had them rotated every 5,000 miles at their location. The tires were loud, not smooth-riding, and had really poor traction. I thought that it was the price I had to pay for the 80,000 mile life-span. They hydroplaned in a moderate rainfall here in Salt Lake City yesterday so I looked at the tread. The 2 front are down to the “wear-bars” and the rear are close behind.
The Big O in Draper manager said he can't warranty them because it looks like my van may need an alignment. Funny, I told him, "You haven't mentioned that the last 5 rotations." I expected half-off on a replacement set (45k out of an 80k warranty). Instead he offered me a price on a set of new tires that was $160 more than I could buy them for elsewhere. Ironically, the Jiffy Lube next to this store is the only other shop I've ever had trouble with. I wonder if they’re owned by the same person. Neither will ever see another dime from me. Scam scam scam!!! I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT ** LUCK WITH BIG O. I had my van tires rotated (at The Austin Bluffs Colorado Springs CO store) and within a week my brake pads wore out and ruined my rotor. When I told the manager that ALL He had to say was... If we are busy we DO NOT look at anything BUT if it WERE SLOW they look at brakes, suspension, etc to try and make more business. WHAT a crappy way to run a company. I swore never again but decided to try years later at a different store (off of Omaha and Powers Colorado Springs, CO) because my truck needed an alignment and they were the only ones available, (now I know why).
First off they hooked up my truck to their alignment machine did the work (supposedly) with only an after print out, so I have no idea what they did. WHO DOES AN ALIGNMENT WITHOUT A BEFORE AND AFTER PRINT OUT??? IDIOTS THAT'S WHO. Oh yeah, did I mention I am a long time diesel mechanic? I rebuilt my entire suspension parts on the front of the truck and my alignment was better after all that than after Big O worked on it. My tire on the passenger side started wearing badly after Big O touched it. They said I never came to them for an alignment but finally found it. Hooked up my truck and said yup both sides are toed out and that I must have hit a pothole. HOW THE ** DOES A POTHOLE KNOCK BOTH SIDES OUT??? HOGWASH I say. Then was offered the same $30 discount to fix it, BS.
He said, "Can you leave it or come back at 12:30" that day. I said yes, then the mechanic starts whispering to the manager about having to move it from rack to rack to work on it due to the jacks being broken on the align rack and I should go somewhere else because they did not know when it would be fixed. Talk about a BRUSH/BLOW OFF!!! The old owner would have never done this. DO NOT EVER WASTE YOUR TIME WITH ANY OF THEM. THEY ARE SHISTERS!!!

I will NEVER return to any Big O Tires locations. I took my car in on March 15th for some regular maintenance on my car. Oil change, tires balanced and rotated, as well as an alignment. My car was in perfect working condition prior to my visit. Immediately upon leaving my car was not acting right. My steering kept jerking. It was a particularly windy day that day so I just thought, “Oh it must be the wind” and took it home. Today, March 19th, I was driving it to work and I was driving my car straight while the steering wheel was being held at a 25 degree angle. What? I literally just had an alignment done. Then my car jerks again and metal began grinding on metal. Luckily my work is just a mile from the shop so I immediately drove it right back to the shop and told them to take a look at it. I was told that my CV axle, lower front arm, and ball joint all needed to be replaced to the tune of $540.
I find it extremely suspicious that my car was in perfect working order BEFORE I took it to them to be aligned and to have the tires balanced and rotated. I also find it extremely suspicious that the exact same thing happened to another google reviewer just six days before me! (I had not read that review until after I already took my car in...had I read it before I would have taken it elsewhere) I do not believe that this is a coincidence at all. I believe they messed up my car. I expressed my concerns with the owner who insists that this was not their fault. He offered for me to watch video surveillance of them working on my car in the shop as if that would ease my mind. Simply seeing someone work on my car doesn't show what we would need to see.
He said that they "should have done a more thorough inspection" but that this is "just something that can happen and is in no way even related to getting tires balanced and rotated or getting an alignment." He said it's like "going to the doctor because you have a cold and them not knowing you have cancer." Insisted that they are "not related." I call BS on that. The CV axle, lower arm, and ball joint are all completely related to tires and alignment. They were perfectly fine before and if they weren't then it's something that should have been caught while the car was being worked on, especially less than a week after the same exact thing happened to someone else. I called their corporate office and all they did was take note of my concerns and refer me back to the owner.
The owner refuses to take responsibility for this. He claims that these things can happen at any time and it was just a coincidence. I called several mechanics around town to get quotes on the repairs to see if I could find a more reasonable price. Every single mechanic I spoke to that inquired about my predicament thought the situation "doesn't sound right" and sounds "very fishy." They were all shocked to find out that I was not in a car accident and this happened out of nowhere immediately after getting maintenance on my car.
One mechanic told me that they "must have left something loose." Another mechanic told me "for the steering wheel to be driving straight with it turned at a 25 degree angle AFTER getting it aligned tells me that either the tech or the machine used to align your vehicle messed up." Another mechanic told me that the CV axle, lower control arm, and ball joint failure after getting it aligned by them is "absolutely related." So after speaking with other highly rated local mechanics, I am certain that this was either done intentionally or happened due to their negligence and incompetence. So what was originally regular maintenance on my car has now turned into hundreds of dollars in repairs. But you can bet your bottom dollar I took my business elsewhere.

Big O Tires in Columbia, MO is horrible. They “forgot” to tighten the lugs on the wheel on my tires after I paid for them to replace and rotate. Their “mistake” is negligence and has cost me over $50k in medical bills and surgery so far. I asked the manager to have their district/area manager call me. No call has ever come. Paid for the full service of my engine. They claimed to do so. Same night looked under the hood and found out they didn’t check anything. Went back that same night, they checked it and said “yeah it looks like they missed a couple things” and told me to come back the next day because they didn’t have time to do the job they were already paid for. No refund offer for not doing the work either.
Paid them twice to do an alignment on my vehicle. Each time they said they did and got it as close as was possible (still in the red on all tires). Said my frame must be bent, wore tires out quicker than it should so I had to buy more. Took it to a different shop, it aligned perfectly. I was assisted by one of my co workers who put my donut on my car. I drove back up to Big O Tires again... At this point I am very unhappy with my services. They took my tire and came back out to show me the tire. They told me it was a nail in my tire and that was the problem. At this POINT I'M PISSED OFF!!! My choice of words was not very nice. I know I am a woman, but I'm not that damn DUMB when it comes to cars. I know for a fact, if a nail was in there I would've had a slow leak not a ripped up tire. I picked my car back up at 5:30 P.M. Drove to work and my tire went FLAT AGAIN on the side of the highway. Once again one of my co workers come to highway and put my donut on.
When I got off work I drove my car to a different Big O location in Jefferson City. They were very nice and I appreciate their service. They put a brand new tire on my car and I drove home. When I stepped out of my garage my tire was back flat again. I called them and they told me to bring my car back so I did. I picked my car up at 5:30 and I drove to work this evening. I'm currently waiting until 5 A.M. when I go to break to see if my tire is flat or low. I will NEVER use that store location.

The store person saying there could be this much variation depending on the day of purchase? I don't know that this is a reasonable explanation of a price variance of 15 dollars a tire.

But I didn't have time to wait, so I came back. The manager comes out and tells me he can't remount the spare tire. I told him they made a mistake by not moving the sensor. I will never go to Big O Tires, again. After showing some concern about the service I was receiving, they then said that they would finish the work. I checked one star because that was the lowest rating. But as far as I'm concerned, that was a too high of a rating.

After having a bad experience at this place a while ago (which is a whole other story...) I decided to give this place another chance, mostly because they are very convenient to my work. I made an appointment at 11 am for an oil change. I arrived at 10:58 am and they took my info and keys and said it would be about 30-40 minutes. I asked about a place to get lunch and walked across the street for pizza. I returned at 11:55 and thought it odd that my car was parked in the same space as when I left. The employee was about to ring me up and was looking high and low for my keys/paperwork when he finally checked in the 'back.' He came to me and said, "I'm sorry but they haven't gotten to your car yet."
Wow... then why did I take the trouble to make an appointment and specifically ask them if it could be done in an hour? After calling work to say I was going to be late, I had to ask how much they were going to take off the bill. The employee told me the 'most he was authorized' to take off was $10. I lost more than that in wages for the extra 50 minutes I spent sitting and waiting. And rather than offering to make things right, I HAD to be the one to suggest knocking something off the bill. I think more like 50% ($17) would have been more like it.
As I was sitting waiting, I heard 2 other customers who were bringing their cars back after experiencing problems with tires they bought there as well. Seems I am not the only one who has experienced problems with this place! Apparently much more concerned with $$$ than customer satisfaction. Should have been smart and learned my lesson the first time.

We bought Big O Tires for our Honda Accord at the Louisville Colorado Big O Tires. The warranty is for three years and ends in January 2018. My daughter took the car to Montana. While there one of the tires was rotten and had a flat. She went to a tire dealer since there was no Big O Tires in Billings Montana. The tire store said that all the tires were rotten and that Big O did not clean the rim before putting the tires on my car. Poor quality tires.
We brought the tires back to the store in Louisville CO and they will not stand behind the warranty. They said the problem is our 2006 Honda car and it caused the tires to rot. What?? The warranty is not up until January 2018. I have never had such poor customer service. I may take some legal action since this is so unbelievable and I have the testimony of the tire store in Montana. They will confirm the problem was no proper installation, did not clean the rims and that it is not my car causing their tires to rot. Do not buy tires at Big O. They do not stand behind the warranty.

Special ordered tires from Alan (BIG O tires, Carson). His guy installed them to the best of their ability but the tires were very rough riding, like square tires on the freeway. I had them checked out and found them out of round and poor balancing, one tire possibly bent rim but that was proven to be a bad tire shake. Yellow and red dots misaligned. Possibly defective. Ask Alan to check them out and fix or replace. He looked at them, said he would call Pirelli. Never heard back from him. I called again but he was mad because I contacted Big O Corp. and complained about his fake receipt, with no return policies and hand written invoice numbers. I waited 2 more weeks for him to do something with these tires but he did NOTHING.
So I went to AMERICA'S TIRE, they found there was obviously something wrong and I have the statements to prove it. I asked them to install 4 new tires and I returned the 4 others to Big O. Alan wouldn't sign for them so I took a couple pics and left them there, then filed a dispute with Discover. So now Discover denied the dispute because they need proof the tires were returned. I wasn't alone, I had a friend with me as a witness but Discover calls his letter and my pics hearsay. Highly unprofessional, irresponsible service and techs. Where do I begin? Last Monday on January 23, 2017 I went to Big O Tires to have both of my rear tires replaced due to low tread wear. This was the first time visiting a Big O as I usually use Discount Tire for my tire and suspension needs. I was assisted by the Store Manager, Jaime, who quoted me the price of the tires and informed me that it would be between 1 and 1 1/2 hours for them to finish.
After an hour, Jaime notifies me that I have some "issues" with my vehicle and starts trying to feed me a lie about how my power steering pump is going out which can be seen by the color of the fluid. He also informs me that they spent about 20 minutes tearing my dash apart to access my cabin air filter which "needs" to be replaced even though it was just replaced about two months earlier. Basically they spent one hour tearing my vehicle apart just to try and upsell me with their BS. Now for the good part...
Today as I was driving home from work, my brand new tire on the right rear blew out. I contacted the Big O Tires that replaced the tires a week ago and spoke with Jaime again. He tells me that I would have to buy a new tire because I declined the road hazard warranty. This would make sense if it was NOT still covered under the manufacturer's warranty and since there are no foreign objects in the tire, it should be replaced at no cost to me. Jaime didn't want to listen as I quoted the warranty directly from their invoice and had no intention of using any form of customer service.
Unfortunately Big O Tires has lost a customer straight from the get-go. I will be going to Discount Tire tomorrow to replace the bad tire. I will also be sending the failed tire back to the manufacturer and if it is discovered that a foreign object was placed or accidentally introduced into the tire during installation, I will proceed with litigation for business negligence. I would NOT recommend Big O Tires to anybody since, in my opinion, they are more concerned about upselling than customer service.
