I started my solar project with their salesperson, Cortland, who was initially very helpful and responsive. He provided all the information I needed, and after about 30 days of review, I decided to move forward. The first issue came when the system I originally agreed to was changed—missing four panels. To their credit, they corrected this and included the panels. However, that was just the beginning.
Installation was then delayed by nearly three months. At that point, my once-responsive salesperson was no longer available—on a $50K project. I eventually contacted the owner directly and even asked if the company was going out of business due to the lack of communication. He assured me they were stable and offered to reimburse two months of my electric bills. After that conversation, the project finally started about a week later.
Unfortunately, the delays continued. The team had to stop work because they had obtained approval from the wrong authority (the City of Palm Springs instead of the tribal authority, since I’m on leased land). This caused even more delays. The installation crew itself was excellent—the best part of the entire experience. After about four months of delays and issues getting final approvals, I was finally placed on the SCE solar plan. To my surprise, my electric bill is now higher than it was last year without solar. I received only a $9.50 credit for producing 980 kWh—far from what was promised. I have documentation showing what my expected bills should have been, and this is not even close.
I’ve since tried contacting the salesperson—no response. I’ve called the office multiple times and keep getting told someone will call me back. No one ever does. If my company operated with this level of customer service, we wouldn’t stay in business. At this point, I’m considering legal action to resolve this. Bottom line: Once you sign, they disappear. I would strongly advise against using this company.

My roof and solar took 6 months. The roof had to done twice, the first roof was done with substandard materials. They did agree to redo it, But the process was on a snail pace. The project manager was difficult to communicate with and I never had a project plan or any idea when they would show up or finish the job. I'm sorry but I could never recommend this company.

They came to fix two problem panels. Then found I needed to reconfigure all the panels. Then found I needed to fix the roof. Then when nothing worked they found I needed new cables that I never needed before. Then when the rain came I suddenly had two leaks in the new roof. And of course every step came with an invoice for more $$$$. And while all the parts were still under warranty, it still cost me over $11,000. Would NOT recommend.

Though they have some very lovely ratings, the truth is you are not buying from Sunlogix but rather from Sunnova, whose ratings are less than stellar. Look them up and read the ratings. One would think that if you're buying from a particular company, that it would be their sales team doing the selling. That is not the case. We were sold, by recommendation, by a lovely-looking and charismatic woman named Sandra. That's not who you are really buying from. My best recommendation is to have a lawyer with you to read all of the fine print. As slick as the team of salespeople are, be wary. Not to be trusted. Just another disappointment in sincerity and honesty to add to my list.
