I found that Walgreens is a very customer first Pharmacy. I was in another state & the pharmacist was very helpful in getting transfers for my meds in my home Walgreens Pharmacy. Actually where some pharmacies can take 3 to 4 days. Walgreens was on top of it. My meds were ready the next day. Always very helpful and making sure I understood the whole process. In fact when I got home I transferred all medicine to Walgreens. The Walgreens I go to is open 24 hours. And has a drive up window. I have been referring friends & family to Walgreens.

It would be most beneficial if the pharmacists were kept at the same pharmacy longer. They seem to leave or be switched around too frequently. It seems to happen when they are especially knowledgeable and are customer friendly.

I love the local Walgreens. The employees go above and beyond to assist the customers. I am handicapped and they always ask if I need assistance and offer to take my purchases out to my car. The pharmacy is also very helpful. They know me by name, have assisted several times when there was an issue with my prescription. Walgreens makes my life easier.

The Walgreen's that I deal with is fantastic. They attempt to accommodate the customer on every level of interaction. They call one promptly when the prescription is ready, and if they don't have the medication in stock they promptly find it. And they are very helpful with finding over the counters medications!

I called in 2 refills at the South Tyler location in Tyler, TX. I am on social security and did not have enough to fill a 90-day Rx so asked for one month. They told me $10. ** is listed on YOUR WALGREENS generic cost as $12 for a 90-day supply. I also noticed many other drugs (I am on heart meds as well) were much cheaper than I had been paying. I called the pharmacy and spoke with whom I believe was the pharmacy manager and she told me that she used the price the computer uses at the time of the refill. She said "they probably need to update that." I'm furious.
How many other customers beside me compare drug pricing before moving their Rx's due to comparison, only to find out you are not getting accurate pricing. In my opinion you are using bait and switch, and I believe that is illegal, am I correct? Now when I refill the remainder of that med, how much you gonna get me for. Your site states $12 for any dosage for 90 pills-- I spent $10 today for a 30-day supply. So will it be $10? $20? I am going to check into this. I barely make it on my SS check and a part-time job and I am not going to let your incompetence or lack of caring to update this information so the public can make an informed decision.

Not only does Walgreens have the prescription you need, sometimes they don't but generally has it later in the day or next day. Also their store has a lot of seasonal and everyday products.

Walgreens is an easy to use app on the phone allowing me to scan my refill easy when needed, also the pharmacist do their best to give the less expensive drug needed to fill prescriptions, and most of the time depending on if the doctor has to approved. If not then you can go pick up your order through their convenient drive thru service within 20 min.

For the most part they are Ok. Unless you have home delivery. They send the prescriptions via FedEx which takes 2-3 days. I have meds that must be kept refrigerated. They put a freezer pac in the box that lasts a few hours. In the summer after 2 or 3 days 4 if it goes out on a weekend or holiday. My meds have heated to over 100 degrees and when delivered are radiating extreme heat!! The meds are up steamed together and are impossible to separate. I doubt they have any potency either. I called for 4 months in a row last summer and nothing was done. I finally had to switch to La Quinta Pharmacy who hand delivers upon processing so it is delivered to my home the same day it is packed and still cold.

The waiting time is bad even though there are four or more people working, the wait time is way too long. I have been to other places where are less workers and less time, and to call there and wait time is the worst. It will say there is one person ahead of you but wait time if you are lucky 15 min. wait every time I call. Things only run smoothly when one head person is working and lately they are pushing out pills when I am not ready for a refill. They just want that state to pay big bucks. Walgreens retail always had what I needed in stock, fully stocked and pharmacists were knowledgeable, helpful, kind and respectful. I use past tense b/c now, not that I'm not working and often without use of my vehicle, I'm forced to use CVS as it's walkable, weather permitting. My one "issue" with Walgreens is Mail-Order Pharmacy. It's nearly impossible to communicate with a pharmacist or a customer service rep efficiently, if at all.
On-line pharmacy has no email capability, no "Reply" button to on-line messages from pharmacist or customer service, and the Toll Free Call In Centers are confusing and time consuming due to overuse of intrusive computers asking excessive & irrelevant questions followed by getting passed around with hold times before actually reaching the correct department with a human at the phone. Because of the prior mentioned, I usually give up in exasperation after numerous attempts to contact Online pharmacy about anything be it prescription info, account or credit card changes. It's even impossible to pay Walgreens On-Line pharmacy.

Walgreens has been consistently overcharging me for my prescriptions. The last time they ignored my MFG loyalty coupon co-pay, then made me sit and wait one hr while they were supposedly trying to confirm the copay on a Sat. when I know that they are not even there. I left without my 3 month Rx & was told to return again on Mon. I know that the info is in the computer. This pharmacist decided to "stick it to me!" just because she felt like it!!! They also had another Rx mislabeled with the wrong med & refused to change it which is against Fed law. Seriously, I am worried that they will kill someone with lack of care & responsibility. I will have to call my Drs. office & have them write a new Rx. The Drs. office agrees with me: Walgreens is the worst!!!

This worked out very well. The pharmacist have a very broad knowledge base and are very informative.
I recently received immunizations there as well. Pharmacy wait times vary depending on time of day, month. At these times the wait time is one hour. The reward program is great! I have used it a lot and it saves money on your purchase items. Store hours for me are adequate, the Walgreens I frequent is open until midnight, I'm a senior and do not go out late at night. The Walgreen employees are super nice and very accommodating. If they have something that you wanted and it's out stock you are given a rain check for that item. The coupon I was using was for **, coupon states "No more than $15.00 copay, if your Ins., does not cover the RX." Walgreen's calls for me to pickup my RX, and states total due is $25.00? WHAT!
Coupon Pharmacist certification and agreement states: Pharmacist agrees to accept the reimbursement offered under this offer and not charge the patient any amounts over and above the $15 copay! SO WHY IS WALGREENS CHARGING MORE? Price gouging the patient??? And when I called back to ask for Corp. number to file a complaint, the male pharmacy manager, said "well if you call and complain, all that gonna happen is I will have to call you back." I have a chronic disease for which I am prescribed pain meds on a monthly basis. Most all of the pharmacies that I have had to go to in Oro Valley and Marana AZ have not treated me like a person. Especially one pharmacy at La Canada and Lambert in Oro Valley. I have been going there for at least two years and spending about 200 dollars a month in prescriptions. They know me and I was treated very respectable by the pharmacist Ron. Can't remember his last name. The pharmacy manager was very rude and did not want to explain to me changes in the new opioids laws. I apparently brought my prescription in three days early and needed her to explain the situation to me, because this had never happened before. In fact this was a phone conversation and she basically hung up on me with the receiver in her hand laughing. She never did explain it so I went to another Walgreens in Marana a little further away.
The pharmacist said "no problem," then I received a call from him a little while later saying he couldn't fill it for a couple more days but the same as before no explanation, and this man, can't remember his name but it was at Tangerine Rd and Dove Mountain, was very short and he just snapped at me and gave no more information. I think it's very small minded of these pharmacists to treat all pain medicine people as drug seeker. I understand that new laws have made it very hard on these pharmacists, but that has nothing to do with compassion. They always advertise to consult your pharmacists, and they make plenty of money to do their job with compassion.

Walgreens refuses my prescription because my doctor is Mexican! I just returned from surgery. I must say it was a real, live adventure. Upon discharge, the doctor ordered me to get a blood pressure monitor, but she forgot to write the script or to reveal her identity or to give me her business card. She must have known that Medicare would pay for the blood pressure monitor if they had a faxed script. So I called Walgreens and they said my primary doctor has to write the script. I responded that my primary doctor is Mexican & I live in Ensenada, Baja California & I love living in ENS. They said they couldnt accept his script. So I called the surgeon in SD, and his office refused to write the script because a blood pressure monitor has nothing to do with urology.
I called my cardiologist in Oakland and the secretary said Id have to come in for an appointment. That would cost me 6 times the cost of the blood pressure monitor plus dragging this old carcass thru the border, to the airport, to Oakland and all the way back! Some people think Im crazy, but I LOVE my Mexican doctors. Obviously, Walgreens does not approve of Mexican doctors. They just told me to return to SD to some care unit and have them write a script. That would cost me a lot of effort and at least 100 dollars, much more than the blood pressure monitor would cost. Walgreens hates Mexican doctors, but I love them.

Only answer is that this is a clear example of how these companies work with the pharmaceutical industry to gauge customers. Walgreens should be ashamed and people should stop buying from them. I can't even tell you what has gone wrong with Carpentersville Walgreens but it is the most ridiculous unprofessional incompetent and they're not about customers at all. The Walgreens in Laurel MD on 600 Washington Blvd, Laurel, MD 20707 has terrible customer service. Today, I waited 10 minutes for my prescription (**), and I still didn't get it because of the ** (don't know his name), said, "Can I help you." I informed him I had been waiting for 11 minutes now and he had already asked me to wait for a few and then he tells me it was five people in front of me. Granted, I was the only person in the drive thru on today. Destitute service and I decided to go to CVS and stop getting my prescription from Walgreens in Laurel. This is not the first time sitting in line for over 15 minutes or longer. I know Walgreens don't care, but I do.

Pharmacist would not fill my prescription because she was questioning the number 2 in the date written by the doctor. She claims the two does not look like other 2s in the prescription. My prescription was due, there were no other issues other than the 2. When I asked what number she thought it looked like, she said she did not know. The date written was 2/24/2017. Which was the day I tried to fill the prescription. The 2 representing the month was the concern. Her name was Fazia and did nothing but give me a hard time. What gives her the right to be Judge and Jury? She claimed she would have to call the doctor to verify the date. Since when is a pharmacist a writing analyst?

Let alone asking me that in front of other people again very unprofessional. I went into Walgreens to buy a birthday card and some flowers for my sister in law's birthday which is today 2-17-2017 and when I took them to her she was thrilled until we took the wrap off of one bouquet and the petals started falling off realizing they were DEAD!!! I looked at the other bouquet that was still wrapped and realized they were also dead!! I was very upset!!! So I took them back to the store and they proceeded to give me a hard time even though it had been only 20 minutes from the time of my purchase and returning to the store!!!
I wanted my money back and they told me I could choose another bouquet. I told them I wanted my money back and didn't want dead roses. That I would go to Conn's and buy fresh roses from there!!! They truly are unprofessional and rude!!! I dealt with the manager and cashier not the cashier that originally helped another one and she was also very rude!!! Is this the way they treat paying customers!!! Because I will never walk into that store again!!! They've lost my business forever!!!

Walgreens makes customer pay for cashier incompetence. I made the mistake of purchasing a 3pk of $10 Amazon gift cards from Walgreens (I usually buy them from CVS) for a graduation gift in June. The grad recently told me that when she tried redeeming the cards in Dec., she was told that the cards never got loaded from the cashier. I never thought to think of keeping the receipt after a few months because this has never happened in the approx 200 times I have purchased gift cards in the past.
Simple mistake, but this mistake now cost me $30 that went right into Walgreens pocket because they refuse to now load the $ on the cards that the grad returned to me. I was told that they toss their records after 90 days and that THERE IS NO RECORD OF THEIR PURCHASES AFTER THAT. I totally call BS on this. I was able to provide them the exact date of the purchase as well as the statement from my bank that showed the charge but this still wasn't enough. So now Walgreens has $30 of my hard-earned money with me having nothing to show for it. Bottom line: I should have went to CVS. Thanks for nothing Walgreens, I will be sure never to make such a mistake of shopping in your store again.

About early 30th or under. She looked at the prescription then told me she will not fill out this prescription, I wondered why and ask her. I know the insurance will pay for it. I am on Medicare, Medicaid and Humana, been with Walgreens for some years and always have the same prescription. For 7 years, and she tells me she will not fill this prescription, again I ask her why not, she mentioned something about the **.
I told her yes, every little plastic bottle I have has the same name on it. ** a substitute for **. And I have more than 40 bottles saved... She blabbered more about something. I could not understand her. She would not fill that prescription. By now I got mad. And told her what I thought. She is crazy and never never work in any pharmacy again. She can kill a person. While she tells them she will not fill that prescription. I told her she is not a doctor that she has the right to tell the customer that she will not fill that prescription. That woman is nuts, and should be fired at once. And never work at any pharmacy again. I never never heard of anything like this before. At any pharmacy.
If she does not get fired. She will cause lawsuits against Walgreens, and the customer is right, Walgreens the loser. Having to pay out millions of dollars. While one worker for Walgreens pharmacy decided, she will not fill that prescription.. I left and went to the Walgreens pharmacy 1606 Del Prado and in less than 20 minutes had my prescription filled. That woman is a danger to the customers who need their prescription badly, and she refused to fill a prescription. If that woman does not get fired at once, I will write this complaint all over facebook and more. No idiot like this should work at any pharmacy. She is a danger..

I've always for the most part, have used The closest Walgreens to wherever I live as my pharmacy. I have never had an issue until this past year and I need help! I've been using the Walgreens in Deptford NJ off of Cooper and Delsea Drive for many years. A new Pharmacy Manager was hired and now, she's caused major issues. A few months ago, I call as usual to see if my blood pressure medication was ready for pickup, she answered the phone. I know it was her because she has a very heavy accent. She was very rude and abrasive on the phone, I tried to stop her and get a word in. When I did that she hung up in my ear. Needless to say every single time I've gone into the store, drive through or call she was very nasty and abrasive with me. I spoke to the Store manager & I also called Walgreens Corporate Offices and filed a complaint.
Now the nightmare begins!! I had foot surgery December of last year. The day before my surgery I was in a minor fender bender with another car. My son who is disable was in the car with me. I go to the emergency room to have myself and my son looked at. They did X-rays on us both. The ER doctor was shocked at my X-ray. He showed them to me & discovers I have 4 discs in be spine that are almost completely deteriorated. I took the paperwork to my primary physician, where they determined I had a bone disease. He referred me to pain management. Long story short, she began to get worse. My pain management dr put me on medication and when I take my script in if she's working she will say they are out of stock or don't have what The Doctors (not me) prescribed!! I reported her once again to her manager.
Long story short she called my primary Physician who has been my doc for more than 6 years. She told him I would get my medication early at times. If it's too early, why would they refill my medication? She tried to paint me as overly taking my medication (retaliation for me reporting her). I cannot write a prescription nor can I fill or refill it. My urine is checked every single month by pain management. I am not a drinker nor do I or have I ever used street drugs. If it's too soon, why give it to me & if I'm prescribed too much medication (in her opinion) the doctors have me these medications. I do not own a prescription pad. Needless to say, my doctor of 6 years dropped me as a patient as of yesterday.
I went into Walgreens and obtained a printout of my medications and the times and dates THEY refill them. She is causing a nightmare in my life. Now it's becoming her personal vendetta against me. I need help because now this situation of retaliation is flying out of control because of this Pharmacist!!! Could someone please help me. As I know, everything is documented and there to view in plain sight!! I cannot write a prescription, I can't put myself on medication. Why is she so involved with the medication that my doctors have me on? Someone must contact me. I need help!!

His answer was: "Oh I am not going inside to shop for you, and besides you will have to come inside of the store because this will take time and you are clogging the line." I was shocked! I was there for less than 2 min and he already was telling that I clogged the line. I responded to him that I could not go inside the pharmacy because my daughter who is sick and with fever is with me in the car and that is the reason that I am using the drive-thru. I also said, "It is ok I won't buy the ** just let me pick up her prescriptions, I will go buy ** someplace else". (There is a CVS pharmacy close to my house.)
So he got so mad at me and he insisted that I need to come inside, I said no and he yelled to me: "Do whatever you want, but you have to move out of the line!" I stayed there and finally another young men came to tell me that I need it to move my car and do the line again. So I did and waited there for another 30 minutes, while the car in front of me took 25-30 minutes and I never see him being asked to move his car to the end of the line. The call was taken by a pharmacy tech, a girl, whom after listening to my explanation only said that it was a brand name vs generic name. I tried to explain her that the name of the medication I've been taking for almost 4 years was for a different condition than the one I was provided with, she kept interrupting me omg'd in the background. I even told her I was a health provider and I knew about it, she simply hanged up on me.
When I went personally to the store they were very polite and they explained to me it must've been someone at the "central" where they take the phone calls. They found out I was right and changed medication. My concern more than the bad moment this technician gave me is that a poor knowledge from a person that is supposed to know about it could lead to a patient to accidentally take a wrong medication with not a happy ending for neither patient (intoxicated or dead) nor Walgreens that could end up being sued...

On 1/18/2017, I went to Walgreens in Rockingham, NC to pick up a call in prescription. As I walked to entry to be waited on, a customer who was sitting was called to get his prescription's. The pharmacy tech, Hunter started ringing out the gentleman and it was taking awhile to make the transaction. I was standing there for about five minutes or more and a vehicle pulled up to the pickup window. Hunter gets on the intercom and tell the customer, "someone will be right with you." I had just come out of recovery 1 hour before from a procedure (EGD) and needed the medication for esophagus irritation, and I was still somewhat drowsy. He finishes up with the gentleman and without even acknowledging me after standing there for that long, goes to take care of the young lady at the pickup window.
Finally another tech comes up to the window to wait on me and of course, there was issues with my prescription as it has been since I transferred my prescriptions over to Walgreens in November 2016. This was due to the fact that CVS, my previous pharmacy lost the contract with TRICARE, Express Scripts, and I never had the issues that I am experiencing with Walgreens. I don't know if its this particular store or the entire chain is this way.
Getting back to my point on Hunter, I don't normally judge people, but I happened to noticed that the young lady that was at the pickup was **, and after he finished with her, he came back over and quickly waited on the guy who came up behind me after when I was standing there, who happened to be ** and I made a comment to him about the drive thru must have priority because I had been standing here for a while. As Hunter was waiting on this individual, another car pulled up to the drive thru, he looks over and did not acknowledge the lady as he did the first lady, I looked over at her and noted she was mix race.
I don't know Hunter, but companies do not need people like that dealing with the public on a daily basis, especially when they are representing the company. After having numerous issues with my prescriptions and the TRICARE system with Walgreens, I am moving my prescriptions to another pharmacy and probably never shop at Walgreens again. It's too bad you can't leave zero stars for a rating!!

We each left the pharmacy with a Walgreen receipt that showed that there was no copay and the insurance covered $234.39. About one month later, they billed both me and my wife different amounts for the shot. (Remember we both had the same insurance). After talking with the pharmacy we found out that the statement they made was meaningless. They can choose to bill any amount that they wish if the insurance company refuses the claim. (Remember, they checked on their computer and the coverage was complete!).
When I called the insurance company, they said that Walgreen had done their billing wrong! They billed as a medical procedure instead of as a pharmacy claim. (Did Walgreens change their business model from pharmacy to medical store??). To follow this to a obvious conclusion, Walgreens can tell the customer there is no charge and that their injection is covered by their insurance and then turn around and charge the customer anything they want! Anybody get a bill for $50,000 from them yet?

I would like to tell my story of what happened to me when I go to Walgreens Pharmacy, when one particular pharmacist is working. First, about three months ago I was in the hospital for kidney failure, and thanks God so far everything looks like it's going to be O.K. I wanted to visit my best friend in Georgia over the holidays, so I asked my insurance company for a vacation override, and they said yes to it. I was able to pick up all my prescriptions I needed, but there was one from Walgreens that I couldn't get because of that pharmacist I was referring to. It's a class three medication and she refused to fill it unless the doctor would call her, but the doctor was out of the country. I asked her why does she always give me problems when I come here. She said it's her discretion to either fill the prescription or call the doctor to get approval.
Let me add that I did call my insurance company up already and had the O.K. to get the prescription early. I said "That's fine. I will just ask the next pharmacist who comes on duty next to fill the prescription." This pharmacist left a note for all the other pharmacist to not fill my prescription, and I do have that in writing. She had no right to do that, it's against Walgreens' policy. She always causes me so much problems that I usually get this prescription filled from another pharmacy, where I have to pay much more money to get it filled, but it started to get too expensive for me to do that any more.
Also, when I get my prescription this pharmacist will not take it from me unless it's the 29th or 30th day, again this is against Walgreens' policy for a pharmacist to refuse to take my prescription. I even said to her "Can you please just take it and I will pick it up on a later day?" I am stressed out and I will probably lose the prescription and she refused. Every time I go to Walgreens and I see this pharmacist it puts a knot in my stomach. I've been through a lot over these last few years, and when you're asking your friendly neighborhood pharmacy just to do their job properly to make life a little easier, you can't even get the assistance you need.
I would like to say that I was able to get my other prescriptions filled earlier from other pharmacies without any problems, and one of them was a class three medication. Also, I called Walgreens the next day and explained what happened yesterday, and they told me to come in and they will take care of it. I had my mom go to pick it up so I could start to pack, and I got a call that my prescription was denied. I asked to speak to the pharmacist and asked what happened, at first they said they never spoke to me, but then I asked "Are you guys crowded right now?" and she said yes, and I also asked "Are you the only Walgreens open today around here?" and she said yes. I told her how do you think I know that because I called and you told me it would take a while to fill the prescription." They finally admitted that I called, but wouldn't fill it due to that note from that pharmacist.
I really have no clue why this pharmacist hates me so much. I never caused her any problems, but this pharmacist caused me too many problems. Actually now I'm scared to go into the store after this. I called corporate three times and they were very nice to me. They said they would have the manager call me to discuss the situation.
The manager called me and got my side of the story, but the ironic part was that this pharmacist was on vacation now and she would talk to her when she gets back. Also, the most disturbing part to this situation was the pharmacist who does not like me, said to "bring the prescription with you to Georgia and get it filled there", but the prescription was made out incorrectly. I could of been in another state where I most definitely wouldn't be able to get my prescription filled, and the sad part is that I think she new the prescription was made out incorrectly, and I would of been in a lot of trouble. Would somebody please tell me what they would do to solve this problem. Like I said I'm more than petrified to go into this Walgreens any more. Thanks for anybody's comment to help me solve this problem.

The sales people are awesome and I love my rewards. I have been with the same Walgreens for over 20 years. Though the pharmacy could use a little more people skills because their staff are rude at times. Also, it doesn't always have certain medicines on hand and it can take more than a day to get it in. Many times I could only get partial refills. It would seem that they could keep a closer eye on their stock.

January 12, 2017 I left the emergency room at 4 a.m. The next day I went to drop off scripts. I went thru drive thru to the lane for drop-off. There was 1 car in pickup lane. They left. I had already sent me scripts the employee left and I was sitting there for 5 mins. I press the call button several times. I blew my horn several times and nothing. After sitting there for 5 mins a car pulls up in pickup lane and they come immediately to take care of them. I blew the horn and yelled, "I've been waiting for 5 mins you need to take care of me." The man in the other car rolled down his window, cussed me out and said he didn't care how long I was waiting there. She had literally put my scripts to the side and grabbed them to process now.
When she came back to tell me the wait time I said, "Well I also need to pickup the other meds." Unbelievable what came out of her mouth... "Ma'am you will have to go around and line up in the other lane, which by now we're 3 cars lined up." I was livid. She said, "Well if you don't want to do that you can come inside." I told her I wasn't going into no lines. I go inside and she proceeded to take of the other drivers so even though inside I went to the counter I had to wait. I complained to the manager but it was like talking to the wall.
Today the 14th I go to pickup the meds that supposedly was 2 hours. I unbelievably waited 1 hour in drive thru with only 2 cars in front of me. The car in front after waiting so long to get to window waited a while and I imagined he was upset and left. I get to window to get even more upset. The lady at window was on the phone, then she left started talking to someone else like I wasn't even there. I was not going to leave. I get home and noticed they only gave me 2 of the 3 I dropped off and she didn't say anything. I called them and the person that answered said, "Well it looks like they didn't even push it through to process. Do you want to come get it." I said, "After waiting an hour no. I will get later." They said they'd call. Still waiting.
I've been with Walgreens for over 10 years and I have never gotten such bad service. So bad that I have decided to find another pharmacy. They put me thru hell. I got an anxiety attack, nervous and felt aggressive. I suffer from bipolar disorder and haven't been balanced so it could have gotten really ugly.

Shopping experience on January 3 and January 5, 2017 and before. I am a customer at Walgreens since 2011 and have noticed since approx. 2 years that the pharmacy at Park and King is desperately understaffed. Walgreens tries to alleviate the problem by using floaters or part-timers some of which are totally inexperienced, rude and have no idea of how to deal with customers. If Walgreens tries to give a chance to uneducated people they should to say at least provide some training in social behavior not even speaking of product knowledge which they lack entirely.
The other problem that I can see lies in the process of "auto refill". Order refill works as long as there are refills authorized by the doctor. If there are no refills left a link is missing to inform the pharmacy staff and/or the patient to ask the doctor to send new prescriptions. To provide this link should be no problem considering today's technologies. Since this link does not exist at present the patient has no choice but to review all of his prescriptions with the pharmacy either by phone or in person at the end of each month even if he is on 'auto-refill'.

On January 2, 2017 between approximately 630 and 730 pm I just got out of the emergency room and we will I dropped off a prescription at the window and was told it was a 20 minute wait so I parked my car and went inside. It was just my seven-year-old daughter and I. When I went in the store I noticed all the Christmas items were on clearance so I went direct to the clearance aisle and started to purchase some of the clearance items. While I was over there I noticed a very large deck of cards that were open on the counter and said to my daughter who loves playing cards, "look at the size of these. Maybe we can find some in the box."
I yelled to employee across the way and asked if he could help me find some that were in the box. He said no "this is Christmas stuff. This is all we have. If it's not here it's not gonna be here." I said "OK". As I went to walk away I found a pack. I asked him if he would mind if I count these to make sure they're all here? He said "no. Go right ahead." While I was counting these cards his manager came over started to harass me telling me that he has to throw them away. Anything that's open is going in the trash. I said "I'm counting these to make sure they're all here. I will purchase them. They are 70% off. Not a big deal if they're not all here."
He proceeded to tell me, he doesn't mean to be rude but he's not selling me the card and if he has to remove me from the store he will. This is exactly how it went. No word of lie. My seven-year-old daughter stood there in horror telling him, "my mom wants to buy those cards for me!" He then again repeated he's not selling the cards. I said to him "these are not open. I just want to make sure they're all here because the other ones were all over the place". He proceeded to be rude again and tell me that he will have me removed from the store.
At that point the other coworker who was also young by the way came over and was pointing out candy wrappers and things opened on the top shelf of the aisle I was in, assuming... I believe, that I may have open these items and left them on the top shelf open. They start talking amongst themselves in a lower voice laughing and giggling like children. I pick up my phone and I say "I'm calling your corporate office." As I pick up the phone to call corporate he grabs the playing cards I just placed down to make the call and pretty much marches away quickly. My daughter standing there not having a clue what just happened or why this person had just treated her mother this way, and disregarded anything she said at all. Now I live right next-door to this place and I have to go in it daily.
When I told him I was calling the corporate office, he pretty much told me to go ahead, so apparently they can get away with treating anybody however they feel. This is a Walgreens on Center St. Malden Ma. I have never been so appalled in my life. Which made no sense to me because it was a tier one, controlled substance drug. I was given some ** backwards explanation and didn't have it filled. I ordered a total of 65 cards via online because I like the convenience of picking it up when it is ready but it turned out to be more of an INCONVENIENCE!!!
On my way home, after I picked up the cards which I spend more than $100, I felt like counting it since it was not as heavy as I expected and sure enough I was missing 24 more cards. I had to go back to Walgreens and at that time I had to wait for a while for somebody in charge of photo to help me. Then the person who took care of me was the one who did the processing and he told me that the reason was probably when their machine got "jammed" and the rest were not printed.
My question is, so if it was missing more than 20 cards, how come I was not notified? When I picked it up, the box showed 59 and I paid for 59 cards, the least they can do is make a note in the box that only certain numbers were printed. When I came to pick up my order, the machine was working so nobody even bothered to print the rest that was missing. If you are a responsible person, you make sure that the count is right before you put it in on file ready for customer pickup.
I am a very reasonable person but I think this is not acceptable!!! I did not even receive an apology for the inconvenience. I do not expect one, it's just that I planned my day thinking I can just go in and out to pick up my thank you cards then went to buy chicken for our lunch that my daughter is waiting at home. I placed an order on Walgreens.com on November 30, 2016 for 7 bottles of shave cream. As someone who shops online frequently from a variety of retailers, I was surprised when I did not receive a shipping confirmation email within 24-48 hours (the email I initially received confirming the order stated my item would be shipped and arrive to me within 1-3 business days. Obviously that was a lie. This is where my horrendous experience with Walgreen's customer service team begins.
When I called customer service on December 2 to find out what was going on with my order, I spoke with a rep named Brenda who initially responded to my query with, "You just placed your order," followed by a chortle. She claimed not to know what was going on nor could she give me any information as to when the order would ship. I asked to speak to a manager. The manager, slightly less clueless than Brenda, assured me the item would ship out the following day and said most customers received their orders within 24-48 hours of placing them. She said something about a technical glitch and that their systems were updating. No apology was given for the delay nor could she give me a date as to when I would receive a tracking number so I could check on my order.
The next day came and went and my order never arrived. I was starting to get anxious, so, again, I contacted customer service. The rep I spoke with, once again, said something to the effect of "It's processing. I have no idea when it will ship." There was no explanation as to what was happening or when it would be fixed. I imagine the rep just shrugging their shoulders as if to say, "It's not my problem." Again, I spoke with a manager. This person was even worse than the first manager. She claimed that the system was totally down (for 2 days in a row?) and that she had NO idea when anything would ship but seemed confident that the order was packed and just sitting in a warehouse. She said, in a very frazzled and irritated voice, "I can call down to the warehouse and see if they packed it yet and get back to you." Surprise, surprise, I never heard back.
The third and final time I called, I was told that the order should just "show up" at some point and that the system was still down. I was told to wait "a few days" and then to call back. Are you serious??? I guess everyone assumed I was in no rush to receive my order and would be perfectly content to just sit around waiting. Again, the promise in the email was 1-3 business days.
I am currently waiting to speak to a rep via live chat and I am told that I have a 48 minute wait time. I contacted Twitter earlier in the day and they said "Sorry we don't deal with online, here's their number." It's becoming comical at this point. I have to say that it's been a long time since I've dealt with such incompetent and rude customer service from a company. Judging by the number of complaints I see online, I'm not surprised but I'm honestly dumbfounded by how willing the people I spoke with were to just blow me off, give me complete misinformation and/or outright lie to me for the sake of getting me off the phone.

When I called to report this serious incident; I was told by their pharmacist Donna "too bad! I caught it, so it's no big deal!" Now - month 2, I'm told I don't meet their "good faith review"? I do meet it. There is a PDF of this form online. I reviewed it and both my doctor (of over 16 years) & I meet or exceed their bullet points & questions.
I am an RN and take my medication management very seriously as does my dr.! I found also found online this "good faith review" is based solely on problems that only Walgreens has experienced in New Mexico r/t medication abuse in that state. But, I live in NJ and have never had a problem getting the medications filled that I need for management of severe chronic intractable nerve and muscle pain! I have dealt with only two pharmacies in all that time. I have tried many alternative meds and procedures to no success. These meds make the difference in me being able to live a bit of a normal life with my family and being bed bound. Yet Walgreens... who made a very serious dispensing error on my first month with them; is now saying I don't meet their "good faith review"!
Walgreens is judging me on things they know nothing about yet cryptically saying I don't meet their standards! This is prejudicial, unfair and unprofessional. I now have to call the original insurance company and go through a probable very stressful process to get this resolved. Why am I, a legitimate chronic pain patient being subjected to a form/policy by Walgreens based on situation with a state thousands of miles from me! I drop off my prescription at Walgreens, I show up an hour later to collect it, pharmacist in front of everyone (very busy many people standing around) tells me he will fill my prescription this time but do not expect to have him do it again. I was totally and completely mortified. He treated me like I was a drug addict that wanted these for fun. This jackass had zero idea why I have this prescription filled every two weeks. He had zero idea why my doctor decided I need them. He could have cared less.
At a time when multiple doctors are struggling to get my pain under control and to figure out exactly where the joint swelling and pain, muscle weakness and severe pain (among other symptoms) are coming from and my inflammation numbers from my lab results are extremely high this insensitive, stupid, arrogant and I assume lazy man also that is supposed to be part of my health team now made it so I am mortified to walk into a drug store. I am assuming because there is a narcotics problem in the country that there is a lot more paperwork to fill my prescriptions. It is NOT my pharmacist job to embarrass me and make my depression worse by singling me out and acting like I am a drug addict when he has zero background on me.
I do understand the drug companies in this country have created a problem for millions of people with pushing pain meds. I would have understood his concern if he had taken me aside and ASKED me about why I needed this medication. I would be happy if he could think of another choice for me or if he had ANY input on how to stop what is happening to me. None of those things happened!!! This Walgreens pharmacist was rude, arrogant with a holier than thou attitude. His attitude was one of not giving a crap about his patients where Walgreens goes on and on about how much they care about their patients. What a crock of horse manure. Walgreens is not the corner of happy and healthy. They are a cornerstone of greed and self interest.
If anyone else is suffering from high inflammation rates, severe muscle pain and weakness where your large muscles feels like someone poured concrete in them and you have joint swelling and pain (including disfiguration of joints) that shows up in all joints at some point but moves between them, inflammation in your fascia, skin sensitivity yet you have no definitive diagnosed autoimmune disease can you post here? Maybe we can get a working group together to find commonalities and maybe sort out how to stop whatever this is.

My partner and I went to Walgreens on Cass Rd in Joliet last Friday, November 25th, 2016. We ask if it would be possible to refill his medicine (which is very important not to miss a dosage) that night. They told us that our medicine will be ready today, Monday November 28th, 2016 in the morning. I asked the clerk if our medicine was going to be ready for sure, and she said "YES". However, today I call to double confirm and the pharmacist in charge told me that she wasn't aware of it. That she was going to begin to submit my prescription for tomorrow at 2:00 pm. Should I trust the pharmacy of Walgreens at Joliet again? I don't think so! Lack of negligence, organization, and the pharmacist unfriendly tone voice, is helping me to reflect and reconsidering if I should go back to Walgreens.

Main Street Pharmacy had wonderful people capable of filling prescriptions. It was purchased by Walgreens. Then Walgreens proved to be unable to perform the task of filling the prescriptions that were on file with the pharmacy they purchased. Also the people employed there are not capable of understanding the difference between a 30 day supply of a medication taken 3 times daily and a 90 day supply of a medication taken once daily. I must come to the conclusion that these poor people do not know how to read and therefore should be nowhere near medications or the distribution of any medication as an interest in public safety.
I can only warn people and hope no one else gets hurt (one may say it's ironic but I do not see any humor in their lack of intellect since this has forced me to be non-compliant with my medication for about 4 weeks now). All I can do is ask: Why did Walgreens "expand" with this purchase if they are not capable of providing the service?

Calling their Customer Service does little or nothing at All! (Had been doing both for 2 months and NO HELP) I finally realized how to work their 'system' and wish to share with you: Go Directly to Store Manager and tell them to call District Rep immediately with your complaints/concerns. District Rep will call you in a couple of days - tell them! IF, District Rep blows you off - demand to speak with their boss and tell District Rep to contact them immediately and call you! Boss did call me back, pronto and compensated me with a Visa $150 gift card - not enough but better than nothing! I refused the first offer of a Walgreens gift card as I will never step foot in any Walgreens again!

I have been a regular Walgreens customer for over ten years, not always the same one due to moving a few times but I have always used one close to my home. WALGREENS in Bridgeville, DE has recently had a change in their head pharmacist. Her name is Jessica. She will no longer fill my pain medications because SHE has determined the QUANTITY is too dangerous for me, WHAT THE HELL!!! Pharmacist are NOT doctors, and she called me in the back office and explained that my doctor is not doing what is best for me and that she will not partake in filling this amount of pain medication.
For over a year I have been getting that amount filled along with all my other medications. So she has decided she can fill my medicines BUT not my pain meds. I have been taking these pain meds for a long time and they are what allows me to have a decent quality of life. I am not suffering anymore, I can shop, walk without much pain, and ride a bike and work out a bit.
She has no idea what goes on with me and my doctor. Since when does a pharmacist have the right to dictate and come between a pain specialist and the patient? This new pharmacist told me that unless my pain specialist decreases my amount of **, she will no longer fill my prescription. This is so WRONG in SO many ways. I have always have Walgreens the benefit of doubt in some of their many legal disputes, but no more.
Customers need protection from WALGREENS, they are way overstepping their bounds in the private lives of their customers. WALGREENS should be sued by what they are doing to me. They are not doctors and should have no right to do this to me. Maybe I will seek legal advice, maybe if enough people come forward we could get a class action suit started.

I snatch the prescription out of his hand and told the little rude kid I would go somewhere else. I went to Rite aid and they filled my prescription immediately with no problem in 20 mins.
I will never go to any of your stores again. I have been going for 10 years now. And through the years the pharmacy staff has change from management to technicians and cashiers, they know exactly who I am and treat me like family. And I enjoy that. And any issues I encounter such as medicare issues or the medicine not being ready by the the promise time, they always seem to care and try to correct the problem.

I have been having problems with clerks not being available in the photo department at both Walgreens in Yuba City, CA. Today, I went to the Walgreens on Colousa Hwy in Yuba City. No one was working in the photo department. I selected all my photos. By that time, there still was no one in the photo department, so the poor young girl working up front had to dash over to help me and still try to hold the fort at the front by taking money for purchases. She called three times for help in the photo department and no one ever responded to her calls. So, she had to keep running back and forth to help me in that department.
I have noticed that you have people working in photo that do many other things other than helping customers in the photo department. Why is that? You certainly make enough money on your prescription drugs to pay for more employees and yet you are working the few that are on duty to death! That isn't fair to your employees, and it isn't good customer service for your customers who have to wait, and wait for help. If this was the first time I have had that problem in the photo department, I wouldn't be writing to you. But this seems to happen in your other Yuba City store on Harter Rd as well and I shop there more than the Walgreens store on Colousa. You expect too much and cheat your employees and customers of what they should expect to receive from you.

I went in to refill my medications on Nov. 2, which my bottle said, they would not fill it because I came in late. I go by my bottles not when I picked them up. The location of this store is in Madisonville, TN. The lead pharmacist is Paul, I called corporate and they are investigating this matter. The customer is right and the assistant tech asks why I am complaining about 52 miles both ways to my home, and it costs money to come back to the store to get my meds, that he travels 100 miles one way to his job, I told him that is not my job and I'm disabled, and should have gotten my medication, and it's not my fault that the wrong date was on the bottle.
Walgreens has in-store rules and will not fill but every 30 days, there is so many drugstores that will fill your meds if it's that close as to not put the customer out. They judge the customer as being a drug addict or they are selling it so they are trying to get their drugs early. I am 58 years old, have RA, severe nerve damage, and have been burned over 85% of my body, and I go pick my drugs up on the date my bottle reads, period.
It is a inconvenience to me and others that need their medications and have to struggle with the pharmacy to get our drugs because of drug addicts or drug dealers. I am on pain medications also and they would not fill for me, because I was a new patient and they were not accepting new customers, I'm not new. I have been a customer for years and years. They choose who they want to fill for and what medications they want to fill. I take 2 Schedule 2 drugs and they did not want to fill for me. Walgreens is a problem pharmacy and the store makes up the rules as they go along.

I am writing to make certain that pharmacists when they make mistakes resolve their errors in an ethical and compassionate manner. On Friday, October 28, 2016, I took 3 prescriptions to the Walgreens in Tustin California. The place was like a circus and it was topped off with a digital billboard with your name and your disposition posted for the world to see in violation of HIPPA Law. That disturbed me as I felt like my privacy was being violated and I asked not to be posted on the board. However, I was pretty much ignored. There was no way for them to reprogram the board and allow for someone to be truly private.
Then I gave them my husband's prescription and the lunacy started. I was originally told they would fill them and they took them and I sat down to wait. Then I started getting called to the windows for more information. Apparently, they needed more information about my husband's diseases to be able to fill the medicine. I am a nurse practitioner and I explained some of the intricacies of his diagnosis but since a Pharm.D. is not a medical doctor nor a nurse practitioner I really did not approve of them knowing his personal information.
Then I sat down to wait again. All the while observing my name posted up on the digital billboard which I had been anxious about. Then I get called up that my medicine is ready and while I'm standing in line to pick it up I get called by the pharmacist to be lectured. She complained that It is Friday, it is nearly 5:00 PM and the doctor's offices are closed and she could not confirm everything on the prescription by a phone call at that time. These prescriptions have been filled repeatedly and a nearby pharmacy Walgreens but the digital age has not come to the computers just to their billboard.
Then I'm handed a bag by another group of people with my prescription and am called to another window to be lectured a little more. She was distraught that The DEA visits there frequently and I should be more careful and I should take these prescriptions to only one pharmacy. I should not be there and they are refusing to fill them. All the while I'm already holding a bag in my hand. They gave me the hard copies of the Prescriptions back and I left. I had barely got my seatbelt fastened and into my car when my son was startled by a pharmacist beating on the driver's side window like a rabid wolf. I screamed; he jumped - we were both startled. She was demanding the prescriptions back. I told her no and that I was offended by the way I was treated inside the store. But that was after screaming, "Get away, get away", as she clearly disturbed me being there at my window.
This is 10 years of treatment for PTSD from domestic violence screwed up in one fell swoop. She demanded the hard copy of the prescription that they had returned because they had actually filled one of the prescription which I didn't even realize. I explained to her that I was extremely offended and felt that I've been treated very uncivilly and with no compassion at all in the store and felt that to be Chased to the car was a little out of line. She was to irritated to listen to anything. I gave her the hard copy and was really glad to leave there. I have never been treated like that anywhere and don't ever want to be treated like that again.

My employer recently switched to a different insurance plan, and when I went to pick up my prescription Walgreens said my new insurance wouldn't cover my medication without prior authorization from my physician. I needed my medication so I paid out of pocket, and Walgreens said that after my physician gave my insurance company prior authorization Walgreens would reimburse me. My medication cost me $280 out of pocket, whereas I normally pay $30, so a reimbursement was important to me.
I spent a week getting my insurance company to accept my doctor's prior authorization, and I thought I was good to go. However when Walgreens ran my prescription the insurance company's system still wouldn't cover it. I knew this wasn't right, as my insurance company said it'd work, but I also knew the only way to fix it was for Walgreens to talk to my insurance company. Unfortunately my insurance company's phone system had a one hour hold time, so I thought I was out of luck.
Walgreen's pharmacist at my local Walgreens stepped up for me big time and called my insurance company and waited an hour on hold to clear things up. The lead pharmacist was very rude to me and said that he would have to call my doctor to verify the prescription.
After about 2 weeks I finally called my doctors office and I got an answer and was told that they have been verifying prescriptions which I was told by the lead pharmacist his calls were getting ignored. I explained to them that this pharmacist is refusing to fill my prescription until its verified and I went to walgreens myself and demanded they call them. The pharmacist got the voicemail unfortunately. I tried to be nice and explain what I was told by my doctors office but he was just completely rude and standoffish. I said to him why wasn't this done when he had the prescription verified when he was calling and harassing my doctors office? He didn't have an answer to my question. I know they were making more ** excuses.
Then I asked about why my copay card for one of my meds isn't showing up and he said "oh there was a glitch in the system and it couldn't be entered in and we gave it back to you" which was a lie. I was at the Walgreens at 7:20 pm at the 2575 Broadway NY, NY 10025 location. I made a complaint about a man who I believed at the time to be a shopper. This guy who is described as ** male about 6 ft with a white tee and burgundy jeans and dread locks with a scar on his left side of his face and had a beverage in his hand appearing to be under the influence of some type of substance who followed me from the entrance to the escalators, catcalling me and did it again when I came upstairs with my items to pay for them. I gave him the finger and went on the line. He kept looking at me and pacing around where I was and walking in and out of the store while I was on the line and I felt unsafe so I told the cashier who is described as a light skinned possibly ** male with salt and pepper curly hair.
The man I made the complaint about approached the counter next to me and said "so now you're going to make a complaint about me?" And walked away stating that he will stab me in a low tone. I asked the cashier if he heard what he said and he said yes and he asked if I wanted him to get a manager. I asked the cashier to get a manager after he told me that he's working there but not as a Walgreens employee. I asked the cashier was aware that I can press charges for such a threat and he said he was aware. I then told the manager and the guy came by to the cash wrap where we were and asked the manager if I was complaining about him and he was laughing. Then he told the manager that I was being suspicious by walking in with a mean face and that he was not catcalling me and stated that's why I don't have a husband and that I better get out of the store before he embarrasses me.
The manager said, "Ok, ok, no problem," sounding very nonchalant about what just took place in front of him and the complaint I have him. Then I heard the guy tell me that I'm racist multiple times in front of the manager. I asked the manager, "Does he work here?" The manager said, "Yes but he's not a Walgreens employee and some other company sends him to work in the store," while having a vacant look in his eyes and if he just didn't care. I asked if he thought this was appropriate for his customers to be treated this way and he even seemed afraid of the guy himself and said that he'll make sure he doesn't come back to the store again. I told him "I'm not shopping in this store anymore" since the people that work there clearly don't care about customer safety and allow their customers to be sexually harassed and be threatened with bodily harm on the sales floor and I walked out without my items I intended to purchase.
I was so stressed out and fearful that I didn't even get the name of the manager on duty or the cashier but I know it was around 7:20 pm and the manager was a ** male as well on the chubby side around in his 40's. The fact that he was rude and refused to treat me with some kind of respect is upsetting. All he had to do was count his inventory. The fact that a tech took this prescription out of another basket was also denied. The pharmacist at 11420 Fortuna Rd, Yuma, Arizona is very unprofessional.

If I could give "0" star rating I would. I have never received such unprofessional service at one pharmacy in all my life. The pharmacist, Brandon **, at the Walgreens at corner of Lem Turner Rd and Dunn Ave in Jacksonville, FL has shown unprofessionalism more than once to me and other family members. After many incorrect filled prescriptions (wrong dosage from old prescriptions), auto calls from Walgreens that my prescription was ready but drove to the store to be told the prescription was not ready, and days in delay of having my prescription filled because the pharmacist is contacting my doctor for verification, I call my doctor's office and they have NOT had a call from Walgreens pharmacy. Every time I call Walgreens customer service, I was told someone would call me back within 2 days. Sometimes someone would call, sometimes not. When someone did call it was...Brandon **, pharmacy manager.
He would be rude, careless about the situation, and very unprofessional to the point of wanting to argue with me. So today when I voiced my frustration about auto refill medication filled last week (still sitting there, I had not picked up due to doctor appointment at end of week) but my doctor changed dosage, so I waited to pick up new dosage prescription. No, he said they are waiting for verification from my doctor about dosage. BUT they have my auto refill prescription (lower dosage) ready for me. I questioned the simple knowledge of this making sense and that is when he told me I 'insulted his pharmacy knowledge" so he told me he was printing my prescriptions and I could take them somewhere else to have filled. He also stated "Walgreens will no longer fill your pharmacy needs". He hung up on the intercom phone.
When I buzzed back and he answered, I asked for my prescriptions and was told "Your pharmacy can contact me and I will send them over". I told him he said he would print them and give them to me. He said I heard him wrong. I had someone in the car with me to verify that he did say he would print them. He told me to leave the drive thru. I said I would once he gave me my prescriptions. He then had the "acting store manager", Ms. **, who got on the intercom and told me to move my car or she was calling the police. My guest was getting upset, as was I, with the rude service and the personal threat. I left and will NEVER return to Walgreens. I called customer service to file a complaint and was told the store manager would call me within the next 2 days. I called my insurance company, BCBS, explained the situation to which she gave me CVS as an option.
Plus my prescriptions at CVS will be cheaper than what I was paying at Walgreens. Walgreens will not go under just because they lost my business but hopefully losing my husband, children, parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and everyone else I can tell business something will happen. I would hope that Walgreens would reprimand Brandon ** for his unprofessionalism and Ms. ** for her threat.

Awesome company. If I did have an issue in the past, the customer service department satisfied the problem. Much better pricing than I can get in brick and mortar stores. Reading some of the complaints makes me think people are not very reasonable especially thinking they will "investigate" non-deliveries and credit card problems. If you see a charge that should not be there, simply dispute the charge instead of being a detective. Things happen. I just wish they would continue their 5% back, but will still keep shopping from them.

Pharmacist should not be allowed rely on a pharmacy tech to verify prescriptions or input prescription details into computer system. This is the second time Walgreens pharmacy tech assumed the prescription was for the person that dropped off prescription. Tech never asked for birthdate. Tech called wrong doctor. She only spoke with a secretary of doctor which information given did not apply to the handwritten script of person on that script. This resulted in a discharge. The handwritten script from doctor to patient that was to have meds filled was not notified at present time of the mix up of customers other than script was not filled because it was altered. Lol.
I am blown away by the cover up that this so called tech and pharmacist went to to save their own jobs. In trying to figure out what actually happened I was not allowed to see the script nor did I get an explanation from the pharmacist or tech of Walgreens. I believe there has been enough time gone by for tech and pharmacist to fix their notes and come up with a story to the secretaries of both doctors that has made me look like a criminal and discharged and the person that dropped script off that's all he did and he also got discharged.

On 08/10/16 I purchased Renuzit air fresheners that where advertised on sale in the circular at $.89 each. A coupon savings was advertised in the circular in most Sunday papers. The manufacturers coupon read, buy 4 air fresheners and get 2 free. The cashier could not get the coupon to work and then called an assistant manager for help. The assistant manager could not get the scanner to accept the coupon so she went to the general manager for help. The manager was too busy and would not come out to assist us. Went to Walgreens at 29th St and Gage Ave in Topeka Kansas. There are NO HANDICAPPED CART! If Walgreens cared about the elderly handicapped shoppers they would provide them, I know that they can well afford them. I think that Walgreens makes a lot of money from elderly and handicapped people.

My insurance only allows me to purchase medication at Walgreen only and Walmart only, therefore I'm stuck with these two stores. Walgreen is closest to me. I have had horrible experience with them to point that I will change my insurance in open season in order to be able to have a choice of using different pharmacy. They have terrible customer service. They are not attentive and if you want to speak to the pharmacist, you need to wait on line for at least 30 minutes which then they will hang up on you. The maker of the medications they have are low quality and they are very limited in choice. I cannot wait to stop using them when I change my insurance. This is monopoly when consumer has no choice. When you have to continue putting up with bad service and low quality medicine.

Walgreens has messed up numerous medication fills. My most recent problem started back on June 1st. They over filled one (1) prescription and under filled another. Then they had the nerve to use MY once a year vacation refill to fix the problem. Now I'm short on my medication, and the problem is still going on. The pharmacy manager Bryce refuses to admit they counted wrong, even when I brought the medication in for proof.

I went there to pick up my order, and was told I can't pick them up because they are passport photos. If your policy is that we can't print them, notify us before we process the order. I am not happy the experience. I always have pretty good image about the Walgreens but not anymore!

Let's face it. We all at times do use cash to pay for things and at times we can't find the receipt for some of those things that either are defective after purchase or if health and beauty or a pharmacy over counter item may not be working or you're allergic or it isn't what you had thought. But in today's world most retail stores make you feel lesser than when you don't use a reward card or find your receipt. It becomes management discretion which almost always you're told "Without receipt can't take it back" or "Without receipt I have to give you the lowest selling price." That is not what it states on the return policy on walgreens.com.

Walgreens in Vallejo has been a source of ongoing aggravation (wait time always about 40 minutes to an hour) for us for years. It is the closest pharmacy to us so that's why we have been putting up with it but today's experience pushed us over the edge. I dropped off an urgent antibiotic script yesterday afternoon. Half an hour wait in the driveway was asked to leave a phone number that would be called within an hour or two when the script is ready. We confirmed the number twice. No phone call still 24 hours later. So I call. The automated system tells me there is no script waiting to be filled neither is a script ready. So something went wrong. I push zero to talk to someone holding on the line for 30 minutes. Losing patience, I drive to the pharmacy. The pharmacy is CLOSED!
Mind you, this is a 24 hour Walgreens! We are being told by Walgreens staff (and I am still on the phone on hold at this point!) the pharmacist went to lunch and will be back in 45 minutes (!). I call the Walgreens corporate office, also closed because it is Saturday. How are we supposed to get our script? It is dropped off with no way to get to it. There was a phone number in the window that said if closed go to a certain other Walgreens, which is a 45-minute drive and a bridge toll away.
Would they send the sales people who are selling candy or make up to lunch? Of course not, because then I can just go around the corner and get that stuff from CVS. But the pharmacy I am dependent on I cannot get that dropped off script elsewhere. Very dissatisfied. I submitted an angry email to corporate. Not looking forward to having to go to this pharmacy again later tonight and waiting again in line, just to be told the script was not filled (as we know from the phone message). So, more likely, TWO trips while someone is needlessly suffering. What if you are an elderly person who had to pay someone to take those trips? They make so much money from their pharmacies and are not staffing with a second person on a Saturday? Unreal!

Hardly ever would I make a complaint unless it needs change. This store experience was the Worst I ever been through. What a shame outlook for this company. They were very rude, unprofessional, and unpleasant. I made a purchase on my (Visa debit) gift card. Not thinking about returning an item I threw away my gift card, it was all used up. So, I decided to return the item I bought because it did not work. When I went to the store and return the item the cashier was pleasant but needed an override from the manager so she can give me back cash.
The manager Jamie came over and started the transaction and says she can't give me cash. She was rude and didn't even want to hear me or her cashier. I ask her for Corp number she doesn't want to tell me then when she does it is the customer survey number. So finally I find it on the phone with her cs number and she won't even listen to them. She gives me a store credit at the end. I was late after an hour of being there. Been waiting for a call back from the DM, still nothing. I call talk to the asst. He called someone called me back and said to come to the store and he will TRY to return my money. I said "try??? I'm not wasting my time if you can't." I get to the store, he returns my money and then decides to tell me that the method of payment for next time will be how it get returns... In front of customers and employees.
I'm totally humiliated in front of the store. I responding to him that he will not talk to me as a child and what makes him think I would Ever return to this store again. And ask for the district manager name and he refused to give it to me till the end. Hopefully by reaching out to the public will help others who been treated bad by this store will speak up.

I was informed that the prescription would be filled the next day. The next day, as I am handicapped, I requested a friend to pick up the medicine at Walgreens. A few days later I noticed that one small tube of medicine, ** was charged $300.34. I went online and discovered that with the free coupon the price was $81.57.
We called Walgreens Pharmacy at Powerline Road in Pompano Beach, a number of times to request a refund of $218.77. The manager of Walgreens Pharmacy denied the request on the basis that the time elapsed was more than 6 days. I have reduced mobility and often I am dependent on others to do things for me. I've been a Walgreens Pharmacy satisfied customer for over 10 years and of Walgreens for 29 years. Attached is my Senior Dividends Card code number **. I hope that the circumstances above described show my good faith and that you will be able to refund $218.77.

Recently I had a medication filled at my local Walgreens. Found the number of pills was less than half the amount supposed to be in the bottle. I called customer service, whereupon I was informed they had verified the count prior to me picking up the medication. Unfortunately this is not the first time this has occurred, and in both instances it was pain medication. Their lack of interest in my situation was increased upon their flippant attitude, insisting "they" were right, and I was the one who was mistaken. Thank you for your time, and I hope this will be of some assistance to others.
