No, can’t do that, we need the prescription. I tell them they have the prescription literally in their hand. And then they give it back to me stating they can’t hold on to it. SINCE WHEN?? Dropped off a prescription (different time) they didn’t have it in stock, but this time held on to it and ordered it. “We will order it and have it here Friday”. We had difficulty determining when the only pharmacy--Walgreens in our town, Bridgehampton, NY, had flu vaccine for seniors. Many frustrating phone calls (left on hold) later, we went the the store and waited more than an hour without confirmation that we could get our flu shots. We had to wait in line with maybe 20 people and not very good social distancing. The pharmacy is in the back of the store and the ventilation is poor. If we don't go to restaurants or bars due to COVID, why do we have to wait like this for flu shots, with even their availability confirmed once we are in line waiting? Why don't they have you sign in and wait in your car til they call you?

Then they claimed that my insurance did not cover a flu shot, but I knew that it did and kept insisting. Finally, they agreed. I had a new card, but my husband had only his old card. They would not verify with our insurance company. If this was for a high profit prescription drug, they would have called to verify. Shame on Walgreens that charged my husband $61 for what should have been free. Now I have spent half a day trying to get a refund. My insurance company agrees: This store is "very nasty!" Walgreens says that it will take 6 to 8 weeks for a refund. They stole from us: $61 plus my time to solve this injustice and my peace of mind! This chain deserves to be put out of business! I arrived at the family and waited in line for two people who were at the window and when it was my turn the two people who were attending told me that it was already closed. I informed them that the website did not report this closure, even though the windows were open. And in a rude way they told me that they had already closed. My prescriptions were already paid for and they only had to give them to me. I had to spend over $300.00 to go to a Emergency Room for our lack of customer service.

I had a Sanofi coupon and called to run the coupon. The Pharmacist Sam B run the coupon and said no co-pay and I requested for 3 months. When my son collected the medication it was only one pen for one month. The label shows ** 3 MLS - quantity 3 (rec'd only 1 pen). Refill left 1. I called the pharmacist and, he was very very rude and stated that he was running the ** for one month only and it went through even though I requested for 3 months. He never communicated to me back anything. I requested him how can we solve the problem as my husband is going out of town.

First he stated call back after 2 hours and then he stated call back after 3 hours and then he said, "You can only get after a month." I asked him, "Can you process this right now while you are spending more than 30 min with me talking," without accepting his mistake of processing and he could help other patients who need the help. But he stated that, "I am paid hourly and I get my pay every 2 weeks so I do not care for how many patients I help daily." That sounds to me that he is not the pharmacist meant for patients and for the company.

I do not recommend or give one star for this experience from this pharmacy. I strongly recommend the management looks into the worst negative attitude of the employees especially this pharmacist who talked to the customers or patients when there is 6 major pharmacies like HEB, Target, Walmart, CVS located within 2 miles. I strongly recommend HEB pharmacy for any of the needs if the insurance accepts. They are very approachable, polite and very sensible.

They have no idea of your health and have no right to make such an assumption. Something needs to be done that doesn’t allow them this leverage on judging buyers. I ran into a lady that used to work at Walgreens and now she is with another pharmaceutical company, she said the difference is night and day. Apparently their workers are treated poorly as well. I am always amazed how these drug dealers who sell to anyone, can get away with it but going to a doctor and getting a prescription, leaves Walgreens to make a judgment call. Unbelievable.

Right before the lockdown order for my state, I placed an order with Walgreens for a blood pressure monitor. I am high risk and going out to check my blood pressure is not very smart. After a week, my Walgreens order was still "Processing". They did place a hold for the amount of my order on my card. I contacted customer service requesting to cancel my order so I can purchase my monitor somewhere else. I am Stage 2 and need to monitor closely. I was told by Walgreens customer service that my order cannot be cancelled.

Their order processing is automatic, once you place it, you can't cancel. That is a lie. I have cancelled a Walgreens order before. I did explain to the customer service representative that is essential for me to have a blood pressure monitor and Walgreens is keeping my money hostage. I was advised by Walgreens to go to a hospital to check my blood pressure. In the middle of an epidemic, high risk is told by a pharmacy to expose themselves to a deadly virus instead of cancelling an order. I do not have the luxury of purchasing a second monitor while Walgreens has a hold on my original purchase amount.

My choices at this point are: risk my life and go to a clinic to check my blood pressure, stay home and hope I will wake up tomorrow, sacrifice my food budget and order from somewhere else. I cannot express how disgusted and appalled I am by all this. Thank you, Walgreens, for playing with my life. So my wife picks up two prescriptions for me on her way home from work a while ago. These are both scripts that I've had for a few months and pick up on a monthly basis. When I need one of the insulins I open the bag to find it is the wrong prescription (right med, wrong delivery method). I don't have the needles, syringes or training to draw and inject this insulin; nor do I have a scipt for any of the materials since I have never had it before.

Since I am leaving for work, my wife says she'll take the wrong medicine back to the store and asks for an exchange to the correct insulin. She is told, "Sorry we can't do that, we'll fill it again and charge you the $500+ again!!!" I get home from work Saturday and she explains what's going on, it's already late so I wait until Sunday morning to call pharmacy and try to straighten things out.... I am lied to, disrespected and insulted to the point where I raised my voice as I was constantly talked over... Please tell me how is it ok to steal from a customer?

How is it ok not to verify that a script being filled is correct or what the customer needs? Whatever happened to the pharmacy checking with the person picking up the meds that they understood what they were getting and how to use it? Apparently this location doesn't need to be bothered with Customer service, responsibilities or doing the right thing, they'll do what they want, when they want, and charge you double for it. When you try to call for help, they treat you like crap, blame it all on the doctors office, then blame it on the doctors office and you. Not one time ever even coming close to admitting they have a part in the process much less actually having blame... Well guess what Walgreens, I DON'T HAVE OVER $500 for another refill... So I'll just go without my insulin for another day until my doctors office is open on Monday and I can get them to train me on how to use this vial and call in a prescription for the materials to someone else.

I am DONE being a Walgreens customer, over 10 years of loyalty is GONE in a single morning. This is far from the 1st time in the past year that mistakes were made, information was not given and we've received poor customer service. Far from the 1st time we've had to ask the Manager to get involved as mistakes were made. But this time for the Manager to continuously talk over me, treat me like a child, speak down in a condescending tone, refuse to answer questions and consistently repeat it's all the Doctor's fault without listening to anything I asked... I don't care if it is the closest pharmacy to us; it'll be worth it to driving a little further, I am sure that Publix, CVS, Saraland Pharmacy or McConaghy Drugs would all like to have our business each month and not treat us like crap.

I am a Diabetic with an implanted ICD Unit in my chest. Called in a prescription for one of the 4 medications I take for Diabetes. Picked up prescription the next day. Did not notice I was two (2) bottles short. These pills come prepackaged 30 pills per bottle from the pharmaceutical company. Called Walgreens and advised the on duty Pharmacy Assistant of my discovery with no results. Went to the Store the very next day, spoke with the Store's Assistant Manager and he stated when they reviewed the film, it (film) showed that the Pharmacist placed 3 bottles of Meds in the bag. I told them that apparently something happened to the two bottles between the time the pharmacist filled the prescription and my pick up the next day.

Due to the fact that this medication is very expensive I am filing a Police Report. The clerks who work in this particular Walgreens were kind enough to vouch for my integrity which I very much appreciate, but someone took two (2) bottles of my prescription out of the bag before it was given to me. I feel that since both my wife and I are long time Customers of Walgreen they should have been willing to replace the Meds and offer to investigate this offense. It reflects poorly on the store, the Manager and everyone who works there. I was always taught, "ONCE A THIEF, ALWAYS A THIEF." Walgreens creates a pleasant environment. You don’t have to walk across large parking lots and dodge cars and search for spaces before you can get into the store. They have a place that’s laid back where you can pick up your medicine, a few groceries, some toiletries, your developed photos and a birthday card for a family member with relatively no hassle. I just love the convenience and overall feel of the store. Love the smiling workers too. The prices are always fair and competitive and they have a pretty good rewards program for repeat customers. Just a pleasant place to go to get a lot done in one stop.

I said yes if he could find a second one of a item that only had one on the shelf. He went and found the second item for me and brought it to me. I was asked if he do do anything else for me? I then overheard him asking another customer what he could do for that customer. So friendly and helpful. The cashier was also so nice and friendly. Great customer service and care shown. I made an appointment, spoke with the pharmacists as I need to take a 1 hour ferry to get there, showed up for my appointment and then: The pharmacists says "I'm sorry, we can't give you the vaccine."! I said why, she says "Because you are over 55 years old. We have an agreement with our internal company doctor (weird) that says we can't administer many of the vaccines to over 55 year olds". The pharmacists further said that she could give me the actual shot and medicine and that I could take it to my own doctor and they could administer it. There were two types of Meningitis vaccines available, Walgreens refused to administer either one. It wouldn't have made any difference even if I had brought a prescription to them. For those of you who are older, or hope to be older someday, AVOID Walgreens. Age discrimination is no fun!

Then after I went to back to walgreens.com and wrote a review of the item to say they sent me a substitute item, they added insult to injury by not publishing the review.

I’ve used Walgreens for 10+ years with the same prescriptions every month, although with new health issues, more medication is prescribed. I broke my back in 2004 and have had three major back surgeries. My entire spine is titanium (rods, screws, pins and bridges) and currently much of the hardware is broken in the lumbar region. During this time I have battled follicular carcinoma with complete thyroidectomy and Stage IIC melanoma. Needless to say, I take a lot of medication for various health problems. Pain unfortunately is one problem I suffer with daily and it is not only debilitating but also extremely depressing. Because of the opioid crisis, it seems all patients suffering neuropathy, spinal stenosis, osteoarthritis and every other pain related problem, are automatically treated as drug abusers. They have ZERO empathy or compassion for customers anymore.

You’d think after many years they would have my medical record, but even so, I’m treated like I’m just abusing pain medication. It’s sad, it really is. The depression 90% of patients develop due to living in constant pain isn’t enough, they just add on to already feeling life is worthless. I only pray insurance companies due what’s right and cover natural therapy, which I understand is proven to help patients who suffer with chronic pain, and do away with these pharmacies. Seems they only care to profit off of the declining health of patients while also demeaning those same patients.

I will rejoice in the day these companies are gone and natural remedies are available. I would never recommend Walgreens to anyone. I also filed complaints with corporate and the Better Business Bureau because how they treat REAL patients is inhumane! I guess the president cracking down on the opioid crisis has hurt their business so they’re now taking it out on authentic sufferers, and I don’t blame him for that. I blame the pharmacy for showing their true colors.

The pharmacist said she did not know if the card would help. She would have to key the card in and was rude about it. There was not a soul in the parking lot. I was told 30 minute wait. I waited hurting and went to pick up my prescription. She told me $69 for my medication.

I couldn't believe that because I had been prescribed this before and it was $30 max. I asked again and she said $69. I got mad at this point because she knew she hadn't entered my Good Rx card. She even had it in my prescription bag like she had applied it. I couldn't afford the $69 and she let me leave knowing she hadn't even tried to give me a discount on my medication. I filed a Complaint with the Mississippi State Board of Pharmacy. I encourage anyone else to do the same that feels they were mistreated. Their phone systems, if you tried to call, I tried three times and each time I weighed on average 45 minutes to an hour find me. When I get to customer on the phone I got disconnected. When I call the main phone number for the store I was told, "Come on inside. it might be easier." And now their drive-thru to pick up your meds is down. Can't go through it. I asked for a manager that represent the whole company in a whole to contact me. They contacted me but it was a computer system asking me how I rated each situation. Walgreens, Groton, CT, Long Hill Road location. Every month this Pharmacy location seems to believe they have a right to delay or withhold medications that they believe a customer shouldn't be on. Every month I get a notification saying I'm delayed for UNTRUE reasons. Because I was nice enough to authorize a partial substitute with an off-brand once due to their stock issues, now they do it all the time and sometimes the whole script, I ask them not to anymore and they say because I authorized it now my doctor has to tell them to no longer substitute it.

11/07/19 they leave a vm saying delayed and need authorization from the doctors, I call the doctors and they deny this or any contact from walgreens, 12/04/19 Walgreens vm delayed for insurance issue, contact insurance and again UNTRUE and ALREADY CHARGED, I contact walgreeens and they SAY they are REALLY DELAYED because they were delayed FOR LIES last month so now I'M DELAYED to pick up this month, they don't care if it's paid for already, they hold it based on last month's pick up date which THEY DELAYED! My doc now had to call an change the script!!

12/28/19 Walgreens delayed for insurance issues again UNTRUE, I called and spoke to Andrea the pharmacist on 12/30 who tells me that it's REALLY DELAYED cause my doctors called "per Ashley" and told them not to fill it until the 11th, WHAT! I call the doctors and they say that's not true, they call walgreens and walgreens never says to them anything about Ashley the receptionist and instead tells them that THEY WON'T give it to me because I have to finish the first script in full WHAT! This was a change to the last script given to me the month before because I'm pregnant and they were making me sick and throwing up so this is a different medication and a specific medication and brand!!

Andrea then tells me that I SHOULD HAVE INFORMED THEM THAT I'M PREGNANT...WHAT!! And that I can’t have a script that is there waiting for me which is **, WHAT! Who the he!! does this idiot think she is that customers should have to disclose to them medical conditions! A Yale New Haven prenatal specialist sent over that script but yet this glorified pill dispenser is telling me she somehow knows more than the kind of education a Yale baby doctor would have!! She doesn’t know why it was prescribed NOR SHOULD SHE!

I dare Andrea to call this ACTUAL DOCTOR and tell her that she needs to explain to Andrea why she prescribed that for me and tell this specialist that they should have told Andrea I'm pregnant cause I would love to hear what this ACTUAL doctor would say in response!! What kind of a narcissist do you have to be to think that customers to walgreens or doctors have to tell you their medical issues before they can have a script so that you THE PHARMACY can decide if the script is accurate!!! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO VIOLATE A CUSTOMER'S PRIVACY, you have no right to hold my medications because you were unaware of my medical issues, you have no right to hold my medications until you find out why they were prescribed!!

The days when you would worry about getting your script or wondering if insurance would cover it GONE, now your biggest concern is if walgreens' pharmacist who wanna play DOCTOR think you should be on the medication because if they think you shouldn't be on it, they will delay them, hold them, lie to you, put you through hell every month or just not give them to you AT ALL! My pregnancy is high risk and if I end up in the hospital due to stress or from not having the medications that walgreens are playing games with every month which is easily proven by all the “delayed” voicemails for lies, I will come for walgreens!!

I've been with the same doctors for 10 years and this same pharmacy for 10 years, 4 years ago this place was staffed with the most amazing pharmacist and assistants and now the ones here are wannabe DOCTORS and NOT in any way that would help a customer, huge difference compared to 4 years ago when I probably trusted those pharmacist more than my doctors.

GoodRx had a coupon at a very reduced rate at Walgreens Pharmacy. I went by to check with them and see if it was good. The pharmacy said she didn't know for sure but it should be good. I had to transfer my prescription to their store. After doing that I went in to pick the script up and it was approximately 5 times what the coupon showed it should cost or over $300. The coupon said $68.

After some checking online at the actual Walgreens website on picking the prescription up it shows it was billed to my insurance. They are not in that program and they wouldn't honor it. That's why they said it was $300 and it was a combination of data that was entered by both the pharmacy that transferred the prescription and Walgreens. They purposely did not want to fill the script. They wanted to leave it with whoever two blocks up the road which is Walmart where I've gotten it for years wanted and they had a temporary pharmacist there. Neither one of the two places helped did this like it should have been done. You're calling the insurance. They were basically, "Dennis if you need to go to the emergency center go there. If your sugar is 500, just go there. I don't know what we can do with that. They should have filled the script." I have gone to Walgreens for a while and have been on the same medication for a long time now. When I walked up to the pharmacy the tech was at the counter looked at me, did not say anything and walked away. Finally after 10 min of waiting there I hand them my prescription slip and asked how long and they said it will be at least a week before they get it in and would not see what they could do about it sooner. So when I asked them to call another Walgreens to see if they have the medication they refused to and told me to pick a pharmacy and stop bouncing.

I was shocked at her rudely telling me this and I responded with, "I have been at Walgreens for a while. Yes, I have used a different Walgreens location because the regular one did not have my medications," and she rudely said that is unacceptable and I'm not allowed to do that. I said I was under the impression all Walgreens are connected and that you can go to any Walgreens and she told me that I'm not allowed to and I have to suck it up and wait till whenever that exact Walgreens has my medication.

I kept asking for her to call another (keep in mind the pharmacist is just standing there not helping or saying anything). She told me to have a seat, it will be about 30 minutes for her to call another Walgreens to ask if they have what I needed. And she rudely walked away and as I sat there and watched her she never called so I called the other Walgreens just for curiosity if it would be 30 minutes and left to another Walgreens (the one off east Florida Avenue and San Jacinto Ave in Hemet) and immediately when I walked in they were extremely helpful and went up and beyond to find a Walgreens that had the medication I needed.

I will be calling corporate in the morning to report that store and I will be calling my insurance company and report them as well so others can hopefully have a better experience than me. Ultimately I went to the Walgreens that the 2nd Walgreens found for me and sent me to and they were extremely kind and helpful too! So not all Walgreens pharmacies are bad. I just hope that the Walgreens at 1661 West Florida Avenue Hemet Ca 92543 gets properly dealt with so no one has to feel belittled, disrespected, demeaned, or any other negative feeling due to those employees.

I signed up for a Walgreens Account to track my prescriptions and check NO Promotions. 6-7 promotional emails a week. 4 call to Help number. Each time "we are sorry will stop in 10 days or less". Never did!!!! Had them close the account and guess what....that night a got a promotional phone sales call. All indications of a Company going down for the count.

Since Rite Aid in our town became Walgreens we live in a nightmare. Calls, calls, calls, if you don"t answer the phone - voice messages... You do not listen it? Right!!!! Text messages one after other. You have to send some text back or make a lot of moves doesn't matter what your plans are. Tonight I have to go to work overnight but who cares? They keep calling, sending text and voice messages etc. No it even is not connected with your prescription ready but some junk that is not interesting to me at all. Now instead to be sleeping before to go to work I am, pissed, must to do calls to the pharmacy to ask them to remove my cell from reminder list, 1000 first time already. You think I didn"t do it before? You are mistaken.

I've ordered a few things through Walgreens online before with minimal issues (people at the front couldn't figure out where the packages were), but this most recent time has made me decide never to purchase anything online through them again. I recently purchased a scale for shipping purposes back on September 27th and the email said that it would take 3-7 business days to ship to the store. I waited and waited and never received a 'delivered status' email or phone call. I went in on Oct. 14th and the cashier clerk said that it was still being shipped. I checked my tracking status and it showed that it was delivered to the store but was being sent back?? So I called the Walgreens help number and spoke with someone and they said that it must have been a glitch and that I should receive it the following Monday. Never heard anything.

I checked the tracking status the following Tuesday and it said that it was shipped to Georgia?? (I live in Chandler, AZ). I called the Walgreens help number and they said that they couldn't give me a refund that I would have to dispute it with Paypal Credit (who I bought it through). I called Paypal credit and they said it could take up to 60 days to get a refund. LONG story short. Don't order online through Walgreens- they're not consistent and will not refund you if your packages are never delivered.

Customer service is non existent at this branch. Had a prescription for the little blue pills and Walgreens advised insurance would not cover and the cost would be $392 for 22 pills. I advised I would need to do more checking. Went into goodrx.com and purchased this prescription for 12.28 from CVS - a saving of over 375.00. As a side noted Walgreens was listed on goodrx.com at 135.00 - something their staff never mentioned as these greed merchants wanted 392.00. Of course I purchased and CVS and went back to Walgreens to speak to pharmacist and store manager. The manager was a nasty, lying ** woman who refused to take any responsibility and said depends where pills made and they have various contracts (of course all BS). Walgreens wants customer loyalty but they show no loyalty to the customer. Their business practices are despicable and borderline fraudulent. If you use Walgreens you cannot trust them. Used goodrx.com.

Not sure what the point of having computers is if you don't know you are out of vaccine. Am 70 years old and need high dose vaccine. Put my age on on-line appt and found out they have been out of high dose for a day. I do have better things to do.

Walgreens at Forbes Dr Martinsburg WV has pharmacy technicians who dont like veterans and discriminate. I am over 60 yrs old veteran who has had serious injuries and have been on pain management for years. This Walgreens has some new staff in pharmacy and now won't fill my prescriptions saying they don't take out of state Doctors. I know for a fact non veterans from the same doctors office with similar medications are still getting their prescriptions filled. We are in WV Panhandle and are 25 miles close to 3 states. This has caused me hardship they are my neighbor hood Walgreens, why subject us veterans to this discrimination.

I go to the Walgreens at 10:30 this morning. The one on East Lamar Alexander in Maryville, TN. I got my items, about $20 worth and go to the register only to be told the registers are down corporate wide and no idea when they would be back up. No one told me this when I came in nor did they tell me when I was shopping. Amazed there is no plan B to accommodate customers when this happens.

Don't bother with appointments. They don't make any difference. When you get there you go to the back of the line, period. It doesn't matter how much in the future you make the appointment, you still go to the back of the line.

Walgreens bought up the RiteAid chain. Our local RiteAid continued on, as is, until recently. They closed the doors for about a week and reopened as Walgreens. RiteAid always had two pharmacists on duty, well-known to the community. They changed so many things they didn't have to. There was only one employee from the RiteAid staff - and it wasn't a pharmacist. There was less staff and only 1 pharmacist.

Automated telephone answering is inherently obnoxious, but at least the RiteAid process was efficient. "For the pharmacy, press 1; For store hours, press 2; For press 3" and so on. Walgreens has switched to an answering system where a bot asks you why you're calling and doesn't even repeat what you've said so you know they've interpreted you correctly. This is very challenging for a hearing impaired person like me. Both the voice of the automated speaker and the waiting music was grating on my ears. When I finally got the pharmacy clerk on the other end, she was hemming and hawing as she looked up my prescriptions. It had already been almost a week since I picked up the first of four prescriptions. I wondered what was going on.

When I arrived at the pharmacy, only the pharmacy clerk was there. I had to wait about 20 minutes for my order because the pharmacist was giving a flu shot. The line behind me was growing. (I think this might have been one reason why RiteAid had two pharmacists on duty.) When the pharmacist came back and released my prescriptions to the clerk, it was only 2 of the 3 remaining, and the clerk said that they didn't know when they would get the other medication. This is not an improvement. I went to write to Walgreens about my experience and when I finished I saw their caveat that my message would become their sole property, and that did it. I cancelled the comment and vowed to find a better way to express my dissatisfaction.

I have been using Walgreens for quite a while because of the convenience of the drive thru. Every month it’s a guess as to if they will have my pain meds in stock. I start getting antsy about it a week before they are due. Often I have thought perhaps I was shortchanged on the count, maybe 1-3 pills but I figured I screwed up somewhere, how? I didn’t know. The last time I got it filled, it was a new pharmacist and he called me at 4:30am to tell me the script was ready for pick up. I did notice that he put the pills in a smaller container than usual, but I just figured his choice. I’m so trusting, but I shouldn’t have been!

I am very careful with my pain meds and keep them hidden even if it’s only my husband and myself here most of the time. I noticed when I went to fill my weekly dosage pill boxes (I do 4 weeks at a time) that I am short 20 pills!!! I think the pharmacist got to 100 and for some reason stopped counting. I don’t know how to fix this, it would be my word against him. This month I will count them when refilled and with a witness. If I’m short again, I will file a complaint and change pharmacies. Anyone else ever have that problem? Ugh!!!

Last night I called the pharmacy I've used for at least a decade to refill a couple prescriptions. When I dialed the number, I was automatically routed to Walgreens Pharmacy's voicemail/automatic refill system. Thinking I'd dialed a wrong number or that the lines were crossed, I tried again, with the same result. Then I thought maybe it was a glitch with my landline, so I tried with my cell phone. Same result, twice. I then called Walgreens pharmacy number and explained my plight to the girl who answered. She transferred me to her supervisor, who confirmed that Walgreen's had bought out my pharmacy, and I could refill my prescriptions at any Walgreens pharmacy.

My former pharmacy had two stores in my city, so I called the other one today. They said that it was unfortunate that they'd had to close so suddenly, "leaving the staff high and dry, and hurting a lot of people." I asked if I could have my refills filled at their location, and she told me that unfortunately, some customers had tried that and Walgreens "threw a fit," saying that they should have the first chance to serve my pharmacy's former clients.

So I reluctantly had my refills filled by Walgreens today. When I went to pick them up, the lukewarm employee told me one of the refills was only a partial refill because they'd run out of my medication. They gave me enough for five days, and I have to go back to get the rest. I suddenly remembered this happening to me at another time in my history with Walgreens, and just a few minutes ago, I read someone else's review that revealed that it seems to be a common problem of Walgreens.

I'm already missing my former pharmacy, where I enjoyed such warm personal service they greeted me by name when I walked through the door, and immediately went to get my prescriptions. Rarely were they ever out of my medications. As soon as these prescriptions have run out, I will ask my doctor to direct future prescriptions to the other location of my former pharmacy. Oh, the clincher to this story is that my refills cost me a dollar more at Walgreens than they did at my former pharmacy.

My son has a shoulder surgery today. I was told at surgery center I had to drop off the medication prescription with him in the car. I get to the first Walgreens. Wait for over 20 minutes for the lady to say they don't have it in stock and I need to go to another location. I asked if she could check which store would have it in stock and she told me she could not give me that information over the phone. I was standing in front of her while she was holding the prescription in her hand. When I told her this she started not being able to understand English (Meanwhile she had no problem talking with other customers before me). Long story short I have now gone to 3 Walgreens with the same result.
