I would have gave it no stars but it made me give one, Every time for the last 2 months getting my prescription filled has been delayed. Go to store, wait in line for hour and once again it's delayed, no notification or call. Last time I use them. Can't move or transfer my prescription to another pharmacy unless it's by the doctor, poor customer service.

This store is straight buns. I would give it a 0, but I can’t, so I give it a 1. Bimal is a narcissist who likes to steal money and convince his workers that he is in the right. Do not shop here as the people are very careless and do not follow ‘the customer is always right’ procedure.

Walgreens delays pain prescriptions and any other form of narcotic prescriptions any way they can. Every month my 80 year old mother has to stress out about getting her monthly prescriptions from Walgreens. They will say insurance issue, out of stock, or pharmacist is reviewing every single time. It makes me want to hurt someone. I want to sue them. We are changing pharmacies. Both of us!

I am a pain management patient and have been for years due to back and neck injury and MS as well. I've had it with the pharmacist at my Walgreens that I deal with. My pain med is being withheld from me going on over a month now. No, I'm not a drug seeker, I'm a pain patient that needs her medicine NOW! Do they not know of Withdrawals???? Yup going through it as I type this. Should be illegal for someone to do this to a legal pain patient! Be aware of this place.

Because many Walgreens are closed I have to drive a ways to get to pharmacy. I call early in the morning February to find out pick up for all meds—including pain meds. Advise pickup date: I arrived - all but pain meds ready so tech says has to see if pain meds in… Checked meds in but it’s 1:15 - informed I must come back after 2 pm…because lunch is from 1:30-2… Horrible service… Truly understand why ratings are so low for this location.

I was shocked at how rude I was treated by personnel at pharmacy. I had a dental implant and then drove 45 minutes to Walgreens in Ridgeland SC. Arriving at approximately 11:30 a.m. What was supposed to a normal visit turned into a nightmare. Being very uncomfortable from my dental procedure I did not feel well at all. In normal fashion, I walked up to the "pick up" counter. One woman in the pharmacy, walking past the window, pointed out into the store and, in a spouting, non-responsive manner said "The line is over there. Go stand over there so you don't block the isle." I politely abided by her wishes. While waiting I noticed there was not a placard or sign redirecting the counter line in any direction! I looked behind me, to the left and right, and there were no other people in the area, as far as public traffic.
When I was finally called to approach the window, I was then told "my prescription was there, but not filled, and I would have to come back after 3 p.m., because it would soon be lunchtime for the employees." So I left. I came back in three hours and was told "they didn't have one of my scripts." This seemed to me, unnecessary neglect, because, instead of calling me, or reviewing my file at the time they asked me to come back, they caused me to drive back a second time, still in pain. One of the employees then became spiteful and mocking angry with me when I questioned them as to why they didn't call me or communicate with me, so I could have made other arrangements. Which then I was told "they didn't have a phone number for me." Which of course they should have, because I've had the same phone number for 25 years. It seems they would have caught that at the time my script was called in..
I only learned they didn't have my number on file when I finally asked to speak to the manager. When I returned at 4 p.m., having to get a babysitter a second time, the three women behind the counter said at one point, "oh, she's the one who complained." The main pharmacist, having taking over the incident at this point, became more offensive after our conversation became escalated, stating she didn't have to fill any prescription if she didn't want to. So I guess out of spite, she didn't fill my remaining prescription I walked out at 4. P.m., having had my script called in at approximately 11:30 a.m. That morning, waiting all day with still no anti-inflammatory, nor Tylenol 3. The pharmacist called my dentist, accused me of an altercation and told my dentist they would not fill my prescription. I have forwarded a complaint to the Walgreens's complaint department, having been told by return email "it will be reviewed."
It is now the next day and have heard nothing in return, as far as an apology from district office. I will never use Walgreens again. I feel I am owed a personal apology for the bullying, aggravation, disrespect I was shown. They treated me with some sort of elderly disrespect, enforcing the old Covid mode to exercise control over the public on their terms. They displayed no regard for my pain and suffering, scoffed at my lack of understanding and inconvenience, then refused out of spite to fill the Tylenol 3 pain med.
The next Walgreens is 25 miles from my home and I have not had a chance to make the trip. Hopefully tomorrow. I hope the implant will not fail. It was very expensive and I should have had the anti-inflammatory that same day. I hope to drive 25 miles to the next pharmacy tomorrow. Coupled with some sort of power trip, I am still scratching my head at how they seemed to possess the power to tell me to sit down and shut up or you won't be waited on at all!

DO NOT BELIEVE those Walgreens commercials! All those Walgreens commercials promising how helpful and pleasant Walgreens pharmacy/pharmacists are did hook me and I had my most recent RX sent to Walgreens. Wow! What a bad move, on my part. In spite of those baiting commercials, Walgreens hasn’t changed in the least; gotten worse if anything. Still NO customer service. Still NO service with a smile. Still NO helpful dialog with the pharmacy/pharmacist. What a flippin’ mess Walgreens CONTINUES to be.
My RX was called in Friday afternoon. Saturday morning, I get a Walgreens email stating my RX is delayed because Walgreens wants my insurance data. I tried to get this remedied online AND via an online chat. NO help. NO success. I was told I had to call the pharmacy (??!!) which didn’t open for THREE HOURS! I waited the 3 hours. Called them at 1010am. Told the pharmacist I was NOT using insurance, so when can I pick up my RX. Pharmacist stated to give him an hour. I did. We drove up to the drive-thru window at 1115am. We WERE NOT acknowledged by the pharmacy. Meanwhile, another vehicle pulled in behind us. Both cars were ignored. We waited; saw no one moving inside. Walgreens made no attempt to communicate with us.
So, we parked and went in. When my presence was finally acknowledged, I was called to the counter and I gave my name. THAT’s when the less than helpful Walgreens employee stated, “We’re still working on it.” Which is when I stated, “Well, I called at 1010am and was told it would be ready in an hour. It’s been over an hour.” ONLY THEN did this employee actually LOOK for my RX. And what do you know? THERE IT WAS right there in front of the 2 of them, filled and in the filled bin! In fact, the pharmacy counter employee didn’t even let me know the price was less than I was quoted. So when he gave me too much change, I told him. ONLY THEN did this employee show me the price was less.
What the heck, Walgreens??1. Told me my RX wasn’t done – without looking!
2. NO dialog AT ALL from the pharmacy employees.
3. NO friendliness from the pharmacy employees.
4. If they didn’t want to work, WHY ARE THEY THERE?
Walgreens, your pharmacy and employees haven’t changed a bit for the better. In fact, Walgreens has gotten less friendly and less accommodating if anything. That’s it for us, Walgreens. We’ll not be back.

Store #4214 - Levittown PA Pharmacy has become horrible to get prescriptions. The past few refills are always for the wrong amount, or more frequently listed as partial refills which screws up planning for future medication refills and payments. Most recently, picked up a script for a 90 day supply and they only refilled 30 days. When I noticed it when I got home, I went back with the receipt, the refill slip, and the medication that was wrong and they wanted me to drive back home and return everything that was on the original receipt in order for them to credit and correct the medication quantity and rerun my credit card. Of course my credit card was hit immediately for two charges, and my refund will take days to be completed. Time to find another pharmacy.

I'm referring to Walgreens pharmacy on Howell and Ryan in Oak Creek. I've had nothing but trouble here for months. I'm on pain medication because I have a degenerative spinal disease. The pharmacists are very condescending. They treat you as though you're some kind of street junkie just looking to find drugs instead of showing compassion for the constant pain I'm in. They are constantly shorting me dosed...5 here 10 there it varies, 2 months ago they shorted me "100" doses. After I called I waited while they confirmed it.
The thing is, the bottle and the bag that the bottle came in said DOUBLE COUNTED. I just do not understand how they can mark it Double Counted in both places and STILL have it be 100 doses short! Most recently, they said they couldn't fill it because they ran out of my medication. I called the next day and the next and the next and on the 3rd day there was a new pharmacist filling in he said... I asked him to check on it, he came back and said he didn't understand why it wasn't filled the day before since they had my medication there.
The following day I called to see if the reg. Pharmacist was in, he wasn't, it was someone named Jason. I explained what had happened and I wanted to know why my script wasn't filled two days prior and he interrupted me, was very nasty and proceeded to tell me they didn't have my medication in stock and they hadn't had any in the store for 2 to 3 weeks! I said that wasn't true... I said I know you had it in stock yesterday. He kept arguing with me, telling me they didn't...then I said well someone filled my script yesterday so you DID have it...he then proceeded to tell me that he had no idea where my medication would have come from because , and again he repeated his lie, telling me I was wrong and they didn't have any information stock for weeks. This is unacceptable on SO many levels!
A pharmacist should be treating the customer with care and respect, neither one of those were afforded to me from Jason! And a pharmacist that lies to you and then tells you he has no idea where the pain medication came from is such a huge red flag. I and my family and friends and everyone else that knows about this will never do business with Walgreens again if they don't care enough about their pharmacy customers to show respect from their pharmacists and let their pharmacists know it's not okay to lie to a customer. Again, this is Walgreens in Oak Creek on the corner of Howell Ave. and East Ryan Road.

If they don't have enough pills to fill your prescription, they don't count it as a partial, and you have to pay again to get the rest of your month's pills. Their argument is that the payment is for however many pills, but they interpret that as however many pills they give you and not however many the doctor prescribed for the month. So you pay twice for 30 days of pills.

Horrible customer service when delivery goes sideways. Got a text saying I didn't answer the door when delivery guy came. Problem is, delivery person never rang bell or knocked on door. Called number from text - no answer. Tried text - no response. Called Walgreens- after speaking with customer service, transferred to local store manager, was told to call DoorDash. Called Door Dash- said no such order was placed using the order number on the confirmation of purchase email. Said to call store for help. Called back store, was told they couldn't help. Placed same order through Amazon and got items same day. Walgreens is a joke and their "store managers" can barely understand English. Not a fan.

I went into this pharmacy to get a flu and covid shot today. The technician was polite but incompetent. We were the only customers there for shots and it still took her 45 minutes to call us up to get our shots. When she attempted to confirm my identity, she claimed I had the wrong date of birth. She claimed she checked 3 times (physically left the room and came back 3 times) and said yes, the date I was citing was incorrect. She said I should leave and check with my insurance company! I protested and she finally gave me the shots. I was not charged but I am sure I will get a bill because she was clearly looking at the wrong record. At home I confirmed with my insurance company and Walgreens customer service that my date of birth on their records is correct! I will never trust Walgreens again with my medications! Incompetent isn't even close!

The person in a hateful manner stopped attending to me and began attending to two ** people and began to speak badly of me when I was in line and told me to come back another day. I don't know what to say about Walgreens. It seems like it's allowed for these pharmacies to play with your health especially when they're withholding your antibiotics for days after you've already had your doctor call in the medicine. My family has MRSA and we have breakouts and you guys just prolong us getting well while we're continuing to touch things and spread more germs so I guess that's allowed here in Florida other states try to stop it but you guys enforce that we can contaminate as many folks as possible because you don't have time to fill their medicine.

I’ve been a customer of Walgreens for years, and get all my prescriptions filled at their pharmacy. Well for the second time, I fell through their cracks. I was on a 90-day refill for my blood pressure medication, where they take care of filling it, and letting you know it’s ready. You have to take blood pressure medication every day for the rest of your life. Their incompetence has now brought me to 4 days without my medication, and being the weekend, it’ll be Monday before I can get ahold of the doctor. My blood pressure this morning is 190 over 112…not good. I asked for a 3-day emergency refill, which they’ve given me before while waiting on approval, but they will not give it to me now while waiting for approval.
I’m so disappointed in Walgreens, and their 90-day automatic refill, because this isn’t the first time this happened with them, I’m seriously considering moving to another pharmacy. At any rate, I won’t be letting them do the 90-day refill, I will be taking total charge of calling in my refills, because they aren’t capable. Think twice, and a third time before you get onto Walgreens' 90-days automatic refill, because it’s not a good thing when you run out of your medication, and they could care less.

How can one change a management that doesn’t care! The CEO earns (not sure if ‘earn’ is the right word) over 70 million a year while the working staff averages 40 grand and they are severely understaffed. An hour wait on the phone and a minimum of 30 minutes in person is insulting to customers and the paid staff is helplessly overburdened but management doesn’t care. In many areas they are the only game in town. How to correct this potentially fatal situation (people have passed out in line waiting for their prescriptions)? FIRE the entire management and reduce pay for upper management. Will that happen? NEVER. Walgreens is to comfortable underpaying and overworking staff as well as treating customers as serfs. Sadly no help for this too big business with too many rich upper management positions.

When I went to pick it up I was told it is out of stock and would be available in 3-5 days. They refused to see if it was available at another location to bring it to that one. I only use Walgreens because it’s conveniently located near where I live. I have to say that in this past year of using the pharmacy with the many medications I’ve been on some of the TECHS are very rude and short went on the phone. I use the app to fill scripts, but sometimes the app doesn’t load, and there isn’t a selection of answer to a question that I have so I need to speak to a real person. The wait times have been astronomical on Top of it.… I completely understand that the pharmacist and the technicians are completely overwhelmed, and I would love to just be able to use the app, but I find myself not being able to always have a simple question for instance, in case a doctor sends in a medication that’s a duplicate I have one that’s being filled in.
The next is being reviewed by insurance. I don’t really know what to do about that because sometimes my doctors have sent in multiple orders so that I don’t have to get doctor's approval so for instance, if I have a medication, I’m usually take. I don’t have to call every single month to get it filled… Pharmacy and Spring Lake New Jersey.
I have dealt with some of the sweetest technicians so helpful so kind but my recent I have been hung up on, spoken to was shortness of patience because my question I was asking the woman didn’t understand what I was saying so she hung up on me. So I had to call Weight online, again on hold for assistance and ran into the same problem once again, I’ll repeat myself. I understand how overworked and overwhelmed. My insurance covers one of my medicines for 90 day supply for $25. They have a stipulation that you are only allowed two less than 90 supplies in a year before you have to pay full price...which is $1277 per month. My insurance says that only CVS and Walgreens are in network so to get the $25 price for 90 days... I have to shop at one of those two stores. Walgreens decided to change their policy without informing us on how they dispense medicine, and last pickup only allowed me 30 days. Said that it was a problem with my insurance.
I called insurance they said no issues there.. all is good, nothing changed. Walgreen texted that this month's supply was in and ready for pickup but instead of $25 it said $1277.99. I called insurance and again they said... no it should be $25 for one month or three months, either way and gave me a number for Walgreens to call if they said any different. Back to Walgreens to pick up a 30 day supply and they say it's $1277.99... I told them that I had just got off the phone with insurance and they said that isn't right and you need to call this number. They would not call the number the insurance provided and instead read me a policy that said Walgreens has decided to reduce 90 day supplies to only dispensing 30 day supplies to help with shortages... and they would not call the insurance.
Either way.... the price through my insurance is $25... 30 days or 90 days... but I can only get 30 days twice in a year before it goes to full price so Walgreens, being one of only two in network pharmacies has caused a huge financial burden on me. This also happened to my wife three months prior and she had been fighting with them and without medication for 90 days. They were not forthcoming with this policy change and kept saying call your insurance company, they are the problem... when in fact that was a lie. They never communicated to us and kept blaming our insurance... Insurance kept confirming no change to coverage or cost. What a terrible company.

They hang up on you or put you on hold WITHOUT RETURNING. If you call back they don’t answer because they have Caller ID and recognize your number. I proved this by calling back on another phone and was answered. The whole staff should be fired….

Last week, when it was not filled on time, I finally got a phone call thru to them. I asked where is my monthly pain meds and the response was they forgot to order it. Order it (in caps), I have had you fill this prescription for approximately 60 times. Every 30 days, like the Government mandates. I even ask for it to be filled 3 or 4 days in advance because I realize your incompetence. I am about to move to Walmart, next door. I used to support Walgreens. It was a great store to pick up a variety of items. The quick turnaround time of refilling prescriptions was excellent. I have noticed over the past year that my local Walgreens now takes at least 3 days to refill a prescription. It comes from a distribution center and not at their location. It never used to be this way. Their prices are really high now, on everything. They have become the most expensive place to get prescriptions from. I am now looking at other options. No wonder this company is closing over 1000 stores. They are too expensive and people are looking elsewhere.
When I called my local Walgreens today to find out when my prescription would be ready, as I had called the refill in before 8 a.m. 3 days ago. The person I spoke with was rude and told me that's just the way it is and kept telling me I'd be notified when it was ready for pick up. This is actually the first rude person I've spoken with at this branch. However, I am not convinced that my call wasn't transferred to a call center. I'm disappointed by this negative turn in customer service and the high prices. They will be losing customers, which means my local Walgreens may close also.

On two visits there, he was told that they didn't have the prescription and that ** could be bought over the counter for $20. We have Medicare, Tricare and our Doctor sent a prescription for ** which would be charged to either Medicare or Tricare. Why didn't they say that they would call our Doctor if the problem was a missing prescription, or tell us they were out of stock if that was the problem? Instead, some pharmacy clerk gives us an off the cuff remark that we can buy ** over the counter for $20! So what - if I have a valid Doctor's prescription and I've got Medicare and Tricare coverage, why would I disregard the prescription and dig into my pocket to pay for something for which I'm already covered and have a prescription? This is totally rude and inconsiderate of the patient and their health needs. It's almost as if they own the place, even seems the pharmacist is afraid of them considering the fact I spoke to her and everything was fine on my status of being a customer of Williamston Walgreens, even tho Mrs. ** told me I was not to have any more prescriptions filed there. Mind you, this is like no other Walgreens in the history of Walgreens. One pharmacist, closed on the weekends, opens at 10 and closes at 6 everyday but some how still needs a 2 hour lunch break in between and 6-7 employees to run the place.
Okay so first I'd like to start with the amount of times I had been given partial scripts knowing they needed to order more of the medication. I've always been nice and calm and patient despite how many times my prescriptions are always always messed up every single time. So the last prescription before this one, I was yelled at and accused of taking too much medicine, she's shouting at me that I was lying to them and I should still have meds.... why? Because I'm Being given partial scripts and she is too negligent to figure that out herself so she speaks to pharmacist that's I had never seen there before but once.. she comes walking back to the front head down, the man pharmacist told her I was right obviously and she did not apologize or anything mind you of how humiliated I am literally about to cry.
Before I left I was told I was not to have anything filled there again. The next prescription was accidentally sent there by my doctor. I decided to speak to the pharmacist and find out what I had done to be declined service and she told me nothing just a limited supply on one of the medications and others were fine today the same "girls" I know misha's name told me I thought I told you I won't filling any of your prescriptions., pharmacist comes over, and I explain not what you told me and she fills it and says this is the last time like she's afraid of "Meisha". I just left Walgreens Pharmacy on Pontchartrain Blvd in Slidell. Window drive thru Clerk Norah was very rude and unprofessional. I am still in disbelief and hurt trying not to feel like a victim but knowing quite well I was victimized, can someone help me. Here’s what happened…..after waiting in the drive thru for what seem like an hour wait, I was instructed by Clerk, then Mgr, then not sure if it was a Supervisor to drive back around or come into store. If I didn’t then they would call the police to have me removed from line/window. What started out as simply picking up my 17 yr old disable great, great Niece medication turned into a horror show.
I believe I approached Clerk at drive thru window with ‘hi I'm picking up, gave name and bd.' I did have to repeat things several times because for some reason she couldn’t hear me. Sidenote, I am passed 71 yrs old and thought it would be other way around, me not hearing her. The Clerk located all the medication then proceeded to verify my Niece address. She then said since there were two separate addresses in the system I would only be able to receive the one order that the insurance had been verified. I then said, if you have the insurance for one, it would be the same for the other medications. The Clerk insisted unless I could show insurance card she only would be releasing one medication. This didn’t make it sense to me.
As I am trying to wrap my brain around this back and forth, the Clerk then threatened to get her Superior. That person basically came in the middle of things, assuming no insurance and proceeded to tell me unless I leave and ho around again, that I was holding up other Customers, she was calling police on me. I then proceeded to call my husband who was able to supply them with the needed information. By then a third person got involved and took my second order, the one needing address/insurance verification. Since anyone was refusing to take the insurance info now that I had it, I said I guess I will take the first order and come back another time. Also by now they were insisting the second order wan’t ready for pickup. It was all so confusing and degrading.
I went there just to pick up my Niece's medication. Interesting not my Husband has encountered this same type of rudeness, threatening behavior over the Clerks not willing to do their job and this one acting as if she really did not care to be working let alone to assist customers. You guys have all of these locations open and empty CVS now all of rite aid is going to be empty and you have locations that are empty. But everybody wants to complain all of the empty buildings that's sitting around Dayton rotting away. Several years ago you stopped taking CareSource but now miraculously you take CareSource again. I will have all of my prescriptions not come to your locations ever. I will never use you unless you are open on a Sunday. You are not Chick-fil-A. You're not for church so open your locations since you want to buy every rite aid location. You will never receive my business. I will go to a mail order pharmacy before I ever use you. You're lucky they don't have a zero because I would give you zero instead of one star.

Your pharmacy staff has got to be the rudest and most impersonable people around. I finally decided today that I will not EVER, NEVER use Walgreens for anything, especially prescriptions. I loathe coming in to pick up prescriptions we need. They never greet you nicely- no "smile", no "how may I help you" Just snarls for bothering their day. My most recent encounter was today. My son got his wisdom teeth pulled and 2 prescriptions were sent in at 7am. We called the pharmacy shortly after 9am (when they opened) to verify before picking up. The person was rude then and said it will be at least an hour. Of course I gave them plenty of time because I have this problem all the time and went in hours later at 2:15pm. The employee practically yelled at me for bothering her at all with the prescription request. She said when we called in, we only mentioned 1 prescription not two and it will be a minimum of a 45 minute wait for the other one.
Mind you, my son is now without meds now for 8 hours because your staff is mean and horrible. I was in Walgreens a day earlier (about 5:30 pm - 7/22) for my daughter's prescriptions that were called in at noon and one was in stock and the other was not. I kindly asked if I should just check back the following day or wait a couple days and the employee would barely speak to me. I asked again very kindly with a smile and he just snarled at me and said it should come in. Flash forward back to today when I was there for my son, I asked the employee about an update for my daughter. She said almost yelling at me- "it's not here. I don't know when it will."
The sad thing is that we are a military family and have limited choices for pharmacies with our insurance so we have been stuck with Walgreens. I made calls today and found another pharmacy (not Walgreens). They filled the prescription in no time flat. They were helpful and friendly. Walgreens will no longer be a problem for us as we are cutting off any business. I have also let my friends and family know as they have multiple issues with Walgreens as well. They will be switching ASAP. Glad I will no longer have to deal with a company and employees that hate people, military and veterans.

Make sure you verify with your insurance company that they are covering a prescription. My local store manager told me there is a glitch in their system causing it to think insurance is covering when they are not but they apply some kind of manufacturer coupon to make it look cheaper when nothing is going to your deductible. See the image I uploaded showing they say insurance covered part of it when I called the insurance company and nothing was applied to deductible and they covered no part of it.

I went to a Walgreens 10563 Park Blvd Seminole, Florida 33772 pharmacy because I ran out on Insulin Pen needles and was a long way from home and this was the closest place to go. I went in explaining that I need to get a few needles to take my Insulin shot as my blood sugars were reading over 300. I inquired about purchasing as well if they had a few so that I can take my Insulin. The gentle whom was working behind the counter had no customer service concern to ask any one for assistance or even to see if they had spare needles or direct me to purchase a box. He just kept asking if I had a prescription when I was standing there with my Insulin pack with medication in hand.
My Dexcom beeping due to blood sugar reading high. I then stated thank you for no assistance and if a result of me passing out in the Store will get them to assist. I then looked up the closest CVS pharmacy and I was assisted with no issues or concerns and they also made sure that I was able to get my shots before leaving their store. Caring for client's health and well being should come first. But the level of assistance I received today I look at Walgreens in a different manner.

The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Twice now I paid for my prescription to come same day and when you call they just give a bunch of condescending excuses, even to the point of almost blaming you. They obviously don't have same day prescription service, so why lie about it and charge customers for an express service they know they can't deliver. Honestly every last Walgreens across the world need to be closed down. They treat your needed prescriptions like it's candy we just have a taste for, and not the fact that some people really need their medication when they refill it. This is not just at one Walgreens, but everyone that I've used. Also, calling the corporate office to complain is also just a waste of time.

On or about June 8 I called in a refill for my heart medicine. The woman on the phone tells me my prescription is blocked. I reply I'm holding a bottle in my hand that says I have 2 refills before October 2024. She says no I don't have any refills but did I want them to call my Dr for refills. I was confused but say ok. Next day I get a text my med is delayed. They are contacting Dr. Then I get another text saying no reply from Dr. I figure maybe Dr. don't want me to have the medicine anymore. A few weeks later I'm getting bad heart palpitations about to go to emergency room. June 27th I called Dr. Office. Dr. office left me a voice mail that I already have refills on my meds.
I immediately call the Walgreens pharmacy and tell them what the first young lady said that I don't have refills and I disputed that I did and I have text messages. This time they put me on hold for quite a while, this lady comes back and says, "We will get right on it." I said, "You ignoring I should have had my refills three weeks ago and was about to go to emergency room for heart issues." I get a text about 90 minutes later my medicine is ready, it was late in evening.
The next morning I go pick it up then talk to the pharmacist about complaint. He tells me it was a computer glitch and nothing they could do about it. So they had to look at the hard copy of my prescription. I ask why didn't the lady look at the hard copy when I originally spoke to her and disputed I had 2 refills left? Then he says the prescription I had in my hand was New. I said no it is not a new prescription. I have a voice mail from my Dr. and they didn't issue a new prescription. The pharmacist just turned and walked away from me. I told him I'm calling the corporate office. Definitely Negligence. Somebody obviously keyed in the prescription wrong and left out the refill information. When I called it in on June 7th or 8 I questioned it. Originally they should have checked the hard copy at that time.

Walgreens store at 3901 Oaklawn Blvd in Hopewell, Virginia. Store is horrible. Most meds take 2-4 days to get filled. Worst store I have ever dealt with. No pharmacist, bad enough the pharmacy is closed on Sundays. Open Mon - Saturday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. No back up pharmacist. So if pharmacist is sick.. nobody can get their meds. I have a heart condition and just had knee replacement. Online it said one was ready, good right ? Check to see about other meds, it said 3 were ready. Check again. It says work in progress and that they are running behind. Check again. Only one was ready. Spent total of 2 hours waiting on my phone waiting for someone to pick up. It was their usual. There’s 4 or more callers ahead of mine then the recording said one caller ahead.
I finally got through to the manager. What a rude, mean, mouthy lady she was. Very sarcastic. She finally said no pharmacist there and check back on Monday to see if the pharmacist is there. I asked to transfer my meds to another Walgreens pharmacy, she said no and to go to the ER. I have no car and couldn’t drive even if I wanted to because of knee surgery. She tried to make this my fault.
By the time I hung up I was in tears. I’ve been told about the management there and now I know what they mean. Neighbors told me how nasty that manager was. She said I’d know there was no pharmacist if I looked at the door sign. I said how can I know this. So there is no back up pharmacist when they are sick. My opinion.. fire that woman manager and use it to hire a backup pharmacist there. A person like her in her position knows to not to take her bad day anger on me or any other customer. I called the Corporate headquarters and put in a complaint. Maybe the corporation should send out “how did we do?“ Maybe that will wake them up.

My latest experience with Walgreens made me tear out my hair. I called in an RX to be filled. The pharmacy told me it would be ready in an hour. When I went to pick it up, I was told that they had already given it to me. What they had actually done was they gave me four tablets because they were out of this med. So, when I went back to get the rest, they refused to give it to me, saying that I had to use up all of the partial prescription (they claimed that they had given me five tabs), before I could get the rest. Mind you, this is a prescription that I have taken for years, and is not a controlled substance.
I argued that they had only given me four tablets. I then asked to speak to the manager, who rushed past where I was sitting, and spoke to the desk person whom I had been dealing with, and rushed past me again. So I sat there, not knowing what was going on, and finally the desk person told me they were going to look at a camera recording to see if I had received four or five pills! So I sat there fuming for a few moments, and the desk person (I'm not going to call them techs because they're not), said to me, "Has anyone talked to you yet?" So I was so angry, because I'd already been there for an hour, and I'm not well, that I got up and left.
Fortunately I had some extra tablets in my emergency bottle in my car. I don't ever want to go back there again. They made me feel like I was some sort of drug addict, even though the medication is simply **. Completely fed up as this is not the first run in I've had with them over stupid, absurd "rules" that they make up on the spot.

In order for them to get this med I have to take them to get lab work done monthly. Yesterday family member spoke with female who said the meds needed were ready. Male pharmacist who I spoke to today said no they not, because he was only the person there all day. Oh yes. He did try to give me some medications that were not needed. Before I paid for them I asked if the monthly medicine needed was included, which is was not. So, if he was only person there and did not speak to my family member, why did he have bags of unneeded meds ready for pick-up?
I asked how we can fix this so I only have to make one trip. He told me we need to call and speak with someone. Again, I was called a liar when I said they did. He kept talking over me as tried to explain my what I have experienced for more than a year. I stated in the past I have stood there as the call was being made. I have my family member ask if the medicine is in, because often it is not. We have been told yes, but when I get there and they tell it is not. As I was talking he took the phone (I was outside in the drive thru) away from his ear! Naturally I am enrage!!!
Why is it so hard for Walgreens, who is in the business of handling of medications, to follow through??? Why I does this place insist on wasting my time! I feel very bad for the ill people who have to pick up their own meds. You would think being in this business they would have compassion. After being notified my prescriptions are ready I picked up and brought the bag home only to find 2 of my heart meds are missing. They had the order to refill for a week or so before they were ready.
So I called and they told me they tried to call the doctor but they never heard back..Meanwhile I have like one day's worth of these meds that I just can’t stop taking because they didn’t follow up on my order…that’s their job. So I called my doc's office and had them refill my scripts myself, which If they had called the day after they say they got no response I would have called. When I asked why they never mention that prescriptions were missing when they hand me my sealed shopping bag full of meds, they told me I need to assume the responsibility for my own meds, it’s not their job. I’ve been going to Walgreens for years. This is mostly because of the locations of the pharmacies, as many of them are close to my home. And I have to say, overall my experiences have been awful. And I’m not saying this based upon going there once or twice. I’ve gone there hundreds of time. And it’s no exaggeration to say that about 90% of the time there have been “issues.” Average wait time in a line of two to three people is about 20 mins. Everything is so slow: from the processing, to the tech having to speak with the pharmacist, to the tech/pharmacist checking out products that have nothing to do with a pharmacy at the checkout! Why do they allow patrons to check out non-Pharmacy related items?! To make the process more efficient, tell customers that you can only check out pharmacy-related It; anything else can be purchased at the register at the front of the store.
Another issue is that there have been many times when Walgreens simply does not have Medication in stock. And without exception, every time this has happened the response I get is, “that item is out of stock, It won’t be here for a few days.” There is no attempt by the pharmacist or tech to search other Walgreens Or even give a partial fill The medication. I simply have to wait sometimes 3 to 5 days until the item is back in stock. How and why this happens is beyond me. I get that you might run out of medication‘s that are in high demand here and there, but the medication I get are not high demand, nor are they Unpopular meds. Another issue is that of staffing. There’s usually one tech and a pharmacist on duty, no matter what time of day it is. Almost almost every Walgreens I’ve gone to is woefully understaffed.
And another Issue my Walgreens is horrible Based upon my experience, several times that the pharmacy staff simply can’t find my medication. It gets placed in the wrong bin, or is missing entirely, and they have no idea why. Needless to say, this is very upsetting. If it were possible, I would never again go to Walgreens to get medications. My hope is that many, if not all, medication will be able to get through the mail. And given how incompetent Walgreens is, I’m sure that they will mess this novel method of getting medication’s up royally. So much so, that other Beth companies will soon overtake Walgreens and they will hardly exist. Fingers crossed. And sure, there may be plenty of reasons why the above mention things happen. But the bottom line is, I don’t care. I would never recommend Walgreens to anyone— Ever. Their pharmacies are sloppy, unorganized, inefficient, And borderline negligent regarding keeping medication stocked.

Walgreens Children's Cold, Cough & Runny Nose, had a Major Problem: Can not open bottle after first time use. Can't even cut open, can't hammer open, can't boil open, and multiple people tried opening it with nothing but a few drops coming out and that was with putting a screwdriver under the edge of the bottle. Cap upper part just spins, but nothing can open the safety cap.
Next Problem: Called Questions or comments number at 18664672748 on 13 March 2024 at 9:31 pm EST, which the CSR instructed me to go back to the store I bought it from. I had already explained I bought it a month ago, with only one usage done and now it won't open. So I explained that again, and that I have to pay to catch a ride share or bus back to that store and there is no guarantee that they will replace it or give me my money back, plus it's been too long. I don't have the receipt anymore. So my sick child has to suffer through the night (No pharmacy is open in my community now. Even the grocery stores are closed) because Walgreens isn't standing behind their products.
I have never bought any cough medicine from Walgreens and I never will. Walgreens got my almost $9 for 4 oz of meds this time, but they will never again it. The worse part was the CSR didn't care at all. That attitude of, just go back to the store was foil. I had to ask him if there was an email address to send my complaint about the product. All he gave me was a phone number (**) and send text a picture with the lot number, expiration date, my name and address. That person just texted back to just push down on the top and twist. They clearly wasn't listening because that didn't help.
After 2 hours of pulling at it with the edge of a table the outer part came off. Another 30 minutes, a screwdriver and hammer later the bottom top came off. So Walgreens would a bottle severely close itself after only one dosage? Why Walgreens couldn't the CSR answer my question by calling the number listed on the medicine? Why was I sent a question telling me what to do when I clearly stated that method didn't work? Walgreen's has never been a good pharmacy and it has only gotten worse.

Usually as any relationship in life everything isn't perfect, but today I called into put in my regular refill and Pat the pharmacist tried to make me feel less than. She 1st stated I didn't fill my prescription at Walgreens, then stated Walgreens doesn't take my Insurance, when for years, I have been using discount cards and paying out of pocket. Then she continued on to state why are using Walgreens, anyway, I stated because my husband pays out of pocket for my monthly prescriptions with me having sickle Cell, my husband ask me, "Why is she interrogating and Gas lighting you."
I then check with my Doctor and she states, "Why are you questioning yourself," I state because this pharmacist is really trying to tell me she doesn't have refills for me and I didn't in the past or now use Walgreens. She advised to call back and express 1st the inappropriate unprofessionalism with her asking inappropriate questions. Then, ask her to check the date my Doctor gave me of last filled prescription. She stated she will call me back (the pharmacist Pat) and when she called me back changed every tune except an apology for trying to Gaslight me and down me as a patient. This is why some patients get horrible service, because some of the people in charge of our safety has no bedside manner and instead of owning up to their mistakes, choose to make us feel less. Hopefully Walgreens on J clyde will help the pharmacist and employees have more empathy for patients with health problems. Now I have to move on because according to Pat pharmacist my business isn't a factor or of any importance. Sad.

The devil is trying to push my buttons. God bless. Go somewhere else for your care,.

Walgreens Pharmacy in Covington KY. From the get go when I went to pick up my prescription, the attendant, a lady with a rather dry demeanor, looked at my bag and made a sound of surprise with her mouth in front of other customers, then proceed to ask me if I was aware of the price, like maybe I can’t afford it. There was a mistake in the prescription and the price was exaggerated, I tried to explain that was the second time filling out that prescription, but she, rather than apply a little bit of empathy or understanding and to find out why the discrepancy, she walked away and call the pharmacist, dismissing me; she didn’t want to deal with me.
The pharmacist, this evening, also came with an attitude and I have to remind him not to be that way because I was a paying customer who came to fill a prescription and nothing else, I was not using social services or insurance, so the attitude was not necessary, only then he try to help and I completed my business and went home with a bitter taste in my mouth for the way I was treated. I observe in this lapse of time how the lady who dismissed me treated other customers and she was smiling to the other people and jokingly calling one of them “troublemaker”. This is my last prescription at that Walmart in Covington, KY which I visited for many years not just for prescriptions; also won't even set a foot in that store for the rest of my natural life, I can promise them that, I am not going to use my money for them to treat me without respect or compassion. I called once again and daughter-in-law who brought a printed copy. After 3 hours of driving back and forth she told them these weren't professional photos anyway. I never needed one. I have been a Walgreens customer for over 20 years. I use to pick up my Rx from the store but was annoyed with all the text messages daily to pickk up my meds. So I called the store and asked the pharmacist to mail me the 2 prescriptions that I had. He said ok but never got the mail and still the text message to pm up my medication. Went to the store and asked why my request was not processed as promised, the technician with an attitude didn’t have an explanation.
So I thought to give them one more chance and this time many weeks before running out of my meds I placed an order on Walgreen’s.com, one item was shipped within a couple of weeks but the second item showed “received“ but stayed in received status for days and weeks, I called to find out why is not moving to processing and shipping, the person answering my call said we are running behind and I should have it by the 11th of January. Today is the 11th and NO medicine. I called to follow up, again very unprofessional person answering the call. I wish I could give Walgreens a zero star

I have been seriously ill with the flu. Tuesday, January 2, the ER doctor called in the prescription. When we got to Walgreens, they were closed. Closed because the pharmacist was a “no show” according to the girl inside. She suggested we go to the other Walgreens. It took over 4 hrs, almost to closing time to get the prescriptions. I will NEVER, I mean NEVER, use Walgreens again. My husband had a $20 coupon. Since they only filled part of the prescription, he couldn’t use the coupon; then he went back in because they didn’t include all meds ordered by the doctor. Well, he could have used the coupon but your workers are so terribly incompetent that by splitting the order, he had to pay twice and could not use it either way. **.

They are the most disgusting, hypocritical and dishonest company ever! Their $35 free shipping is a brazen and thorough lie. Once you reach $35, it always says the item exceeds the total free shipping limit and it will automatically add the same shipping cost, if not more. It doesn't matter how light or small the extra item is. And they often have false deals, like this olive oil in clearance for example, if you add some in your cart and try to check out, it will always prompt a message saying you can't buy them regardless of the quantity.
There's one time I ordered some toilet paper from them and it advertised one equals 4 regular rolls. I only realized it's a total lie when the item arrived. It's only like 25% larger than any other roll I've seen in my life at best. Their agents were so shameless that they just denied the issue when confronted with solid evidence. In addition, their app discount coupon never worked when I try to check out, no matter how hard or how much time I try.
