1560 US HWY Williamston NC 27882. RFN# **. I am having a tremendous amount of pain and suffering from past visits to this pharmacy. If it's not one thing it's another. Everything was great before these two new employees started. It's almost as if they own the place, even seems the pharmacist is afraid of them considering the fact I spoke to her and everything was fine on my status of being a customer of Williamston Walgreens, even tho Mrs. ** told me I was not to have any more prescriptions filed there. Mind you, this is like no other Walgreens in the history of Walgreens. One pharmacist, closed on the weekends, opens at 10 and closes at 6 everyday but some how still needs a 2 hour lunch break in between and 6-7 employees to run the place.

Okay so first I'd like to start with the amount of times I had been given partial scripts knowing they needed to order more of the medication. I've always been nice and calm and patient despite how many times my prescriptions are always always messed up every single time. So the last prescription before this one, I was yelled at and accused of taking too much medicine, she's shouting at me that I was lying to them and I should still have meds.... why? Because I'm Being given partial scripts and she is too negligent to figure that out herself so she speaks to pharmacist that's I had never seen there before but once.. she comes walking back to the front head down, the man pharmacist told her I was right obviously and she did not apologize or anything mind you of how humiliated I am literally about to cry.

Before I left I was told I was not to have anything filled there again. The next prescription was accidentally sent there by my doctor. I decided to speak to the pharmacist and find out what I had done to be declined service and she told me nothing just a limited supply on one of the medications and others were fine today the same "girls" I know misha's name told me I thought I told you I won't filling any of your prescriptions., pharmacist comes over, and I explain not what you told me and she fills it and says this is the last time like she's afraid of "Meisha". I'm having anxiety and panic attacks now over the humiliation I've acquired not one time but two.

If you want a garbage pharmacy this is it. You call get a recording saying call later and are hung up on. Called hours later. Same thing. Went to pick up prescription. I was the only one in line. 2 clerks behind counter. Small ** guy with glasses closed gate and told me lunch time with me standing there. Experience has shown the manager of store and pharmacist allow this kind of thing every day but this was ridiculous. This pharmacy has taken abusing customers to a new level. A pharmacy not run by the pharmacist but the techs. Can't supply receipt to verify my review due to not getting my prescription.

This company, or at least the Novi, MI location is deceptive, and engaged in false advertising. I searched online for a product before heading to the store. The site indicated the product was in stock, I could even order online for in-store pickup. My husband drove to the store and was sold a different product. When he returned home with the wrong item, I called the store to determine the best remedy. I spoke to someone who said her name was Kim. I requested that she check if the item was indeed in the store.

I was informed that it wasn't in front of her. She then assured me that they would correct it when he returned. After getting back in the car and driving back there, he was informed that they didn't have it in stock. And was not in any way going to compensate him for his time, or inconvenience. When he stated what was on the website, he was told, "Oh that's wrong sometimes." This is called bait and switch and false advertising. This company or at least this location should be held accountable for their unethical practices.

The Head P was so rude and disregarding, it's disgusting. I'm talking about: Contacting doctor when scripts need more refills or when a Prior Authorization is need for Ins. or even if doctor accidentally calls into wrong Pharmacy to call the wrong Pharmacy instead of telling me I have to call them to cancel. This is just some of the issues I had in the past year.

I'm getting sick and tired of Walgreens pharmacies. There is poor communication, prescriptions are not ready on time and staff are only inconsistently helpful. On three separate occasions I received text messages from Walgreens saying my prescription is ready to pick up. When I get to the pharmacy they have no record of a prescription being ready. Another example is the credit card that I have on file. Again on three different occasions they say they could not charge the credit card on file.

On each occasion I have asked them to update the credit card information. They supposedly go through a process but the next time I try to pick up prescriptions and charge it to the card on file I get the same message that it can't be processed. To me this is inexcusable, especially in a computer age in the 21st century. I don't know whether this is a technical issue or a staff training and incompetence issue at the corporate or low-level. I just know that I'm getting tired of the incompetence and poor customer service and I will no longer use Walgreens as my pharmacy

Walgreens in general is great. My issue is the Walgreens on Red Bud Road in Calhoun, GA. Their store employees and managers get a big ole thumbs down for customer service. The word NO must be in the training format 100x’s. They are so unhelpful and unwilling to clean up their own mistakes. I stay away from this location but needed a few things and it’s conveniently on my way home. I’ll never make that mistake again. Customers are important. But you wouldn’t know it here.

She never took my name but said someone would call me back and that never happened. This occurred at 1215 West 43rd Street, Houston, TX on 09/17/2024. And to add to this, the still open pharmacy was not well staffed to begin with. So now it’s incredibly bad. It’s the customer who suffers in all of this. Find another pharmacy.

Where do I start? 1. We almost never get scripts the same day. Once we had to wait 2.5 to 3 weeks for my Dad's heart meds. And when I aks for same day, like when I was at Urgent care of ER, they are like at the end of the day! What! I don't feel well, hurt and just want meds and go home. They always say they are short-staffed and hiring...but for an entire year?! They absolutely do not care. 2. The staff that work there are sassy and have these huge, horrible attitudes, save one of the pharmacist, which is their only redeeming quality. 3. One girl that works at the drive-through window breaks HIPPA, EVERY SINGLE TIME, when she sees me, she already knows who I am (because I've complained about her, more than once) and she doesn't say hello, or goodbye or anything. Not a word of greeting, then she states only one med is ready or whatever the case may be that day, with a smirk to boot! I'm so tired of these guys.

I've been wanting to move but I have really bad issues with my back and am a pain patient and my doctor said before moving, make sure the new pharmacy is taking new pain patients or I won't be able to fill my pain meds. At this point, I'm willing to take my chances and just move. I just cannot afford the stress from these people. I am of the mind of even reporting the pharmacy for breaking HIPPA. They should be verifying who I am every single time before discussing my medical information, regardless of whether she may think she knows me. Coming from the Medical field, I know this for a fact because this was always discussed on a regular basis.

If I could have given a less than "1" score, I certainly would. The staff is confused. The service is inefficient. The medication delivery time fluctuates, while customers do not receive phone calls informing of delay for the Walgreens Pharmacy's new "controlled substances". The hold time on phone calls is literally over 1 hour, and time lost - even when dialing 'need for emergency service' is over 3-4 hours, and still nothing can be done until the next week when they presumably receive their orders, and presumably inform the customer. A pathetic attempt at serious big business efficiency.

I absolutely refuse to tolerate the racist and discriminatory treatment I received from the pharmacist and incompetent pharmacy staff today from the Walgreens at 7851 Caton Farm Rd., Plainfield, IL. I have overlooked some of the nonsense in the past because most of the people responsible for filling order were high school students and I did not want them sabotaging my meds. However, that ends now. After witnessing the behavior of their supervisor, I can understand why they act the way they do. It's a clear lack of leadership! It was completely unacceptable for them to partially fill my order two weeks ago stating I will recover the rest in a few days. So upon my inquiry the pharmacist tells me that I have to wait until he decides to give me the rest of my order and that will be next month. Which means I have to pay again for something I have already paid for.

Additionally, the pharmacist had no right to yell at me when I questioned the service I was receiving from him and his unprofessional staff. The staffs smirks and giggles to include the Pharmacist were completely inappropriate, and unprofessional. Furthermore to add insult to injury I was shocked when the pharmacist told me to go somewhere else because I'm not wanted there. This kind of treatment is reminiscent of the 70’s, and it's absolutely unacceptable. Pharmacist and staff must have forgotten that they are there to serve all of Walgreens customers with respect, not just a select group of people.

I just left Walgreens Pharmacy on Pontchartrain Blvd in Slidell. Window drive thru Clerk Norah was very rude and unprofessional. I am still in disbelief and hurt trying not to feel like a victim but knowing quite well I was victimized, can someone help me. Here’s what happened…..after waiting in the drive thru for what seem like an hour wait, I was instructed by Clerk, then Mgr, then not sure if it was a Supervisor to drive back around or come into store. If I didn’t then they would call the police to have me removed from line/window. What started out as simply picking up my 17 yr old disable great, great Niece medication turned into a horror show.

I believe I approached Clerk at drive thru window with ‘hi I'm picking up, gave name and bd.' I did have to repeat things several times because for some reason she couldn’t hear me. Sidenote, I am passed 71 yrs old and thought it would be other way around, me not hearing her. The Clerk located all the medication then proceeded to verify my Niece address. She then said since there were two separate addresses in the system I would only be able to receive the one order that the insurance had been verified. I then said, if you have the insurance for one, it would be the same for the other medications. The Clerk insisted unless I could show insurance card she only would be releasing one medication. This didn’t make it sense to me.

As I am trying to wrap my brain around this back and forth, the Clerk then threatened to get her Superior. That person basically came in the middle of things, assuming no insurance and proceeded to tell me unless I leave and ho around again, that I was holding up other Customers, she was calling police on me. I then proceeded to call my husband who was able to supply them with the needed information. By then a third person got involved and took my second order, the one needing address/insurance verification. Since anyone was refusing to take the insurance info now that I had it, I said I guess I will take the first order and come back another time. Also by now they were insisting the second order wan’t ready for pickup. It was all so confusing and degrading.

I went there just to pick up my Niece's medication. Interesting not my Husband has encountered this same type of rudeness, threatening behavior over the Clerks not willing to do their job and this one acting as if she really did not care to be working let alone to assist customers. Walgreen Pontchartrain shame on you. I did not deserve to be treated in such a harsh manner let alone being threatened with calling the Cops.

Your pharmacy staff has got to be the rudest and most impersonable people around. I finally decided today that I will not EVER, NEVER use Walgreens for anything, especially prescriptions. I loathe coming in to pick up prescriptions we need. They never greet you nicely- no "smile", no "how may I help you" Just snarls for bothering their day. My most recent encounter was today. My son got his wisdom teeth pulled and 2 prescriptions were sent in at 7am. We called the pharmacy shortly after 9am (when they opened) to verify before picking up. The person was rude then and said it will be at least an hour. Of course I gave them plenty of time because I have this problem all the time and went in hours later at 2:15pm. The employee practically yelled at me for bothering her at all with the prescription request. She said when we called in, we only mentioned 1 prescription not two and it will be a minimum of a 45 minute wait for the other one.

Mind you, my son is now without meds now for 8 hours because your staff is mean and horrible. I was in Walgreens a day earlier (about 5:30 pm - 7/22) for my daughter's prescriptions that were called in at noon and one was in stock and the other was not. I kindly asked if I should just check back the following day or wait a couple days and the employee would barely speak to me. I asked again very kindly with a smile and he just snarled at me and said it should come in. Flash forward back to today when I was there for my son, I asked the employee about an update for my daughter. She said almost yelling at me- "it's not here. I don't know when it will."

The sad thing is that we are a military family and have limited choices for pharmacies with our insurance so we have been stuck with Walgreens. I made calls today and found another pharmacy (not Walgreens). They filled the prescription in no time flat. They were helpful and friendly. Walgreens will no longer be a problem for us as we are cutting off any business. I have also let my friends and family know as they have multiple issues with Walgreens as well. They will be switching ASAP. Glad I will no longer have to deal with a company and employees that hate people, military and veterans.

I reply I'm holding a bottle in my hand that says I have 2 refills before October 2024. She says no I don't have any refills but did I want them to call my Dr for refills. I was confused but say ok. Next day I get a text my med is delayed. They are contacting Dr. Then I get another text saying no reply from Dr. I figure maybe Dr. don't want me to have the medicine anymore. A few weeks later I'm getting bad heart palpitations about to go to emergency room. June 27th I called Dr. Office. Dr. office left me a voice mail that I already have refills on my meds.

I immediately call the Walgreens pharmacy and tell them what the first young lady said that I don't have refills and I disputed that I did and I have text messages. This time they put me on hold for quite a while, this lady comes back and says, "We will get right on it." I said, "You ignoring I should have had my refills three weeks ago and was about to go to emergency room for heart issues." I get a text about 90 minutes later my medicine is ready, it was late in evening.

The next morning I go pick it up then talk to the pharmacist about complaint. He tells me it was a computer glitch and nothing they could do about it. So they had to look at the hard copy of my prescription. I ask why didn't the lady look at the hard copy when I originally spoke to her and disputed I had 2 refills left? Then he says the prescription I had in my hand was New. I said no it is not a new prescription. I have a voice mail from my Dr. and they didn't issue a new prescription. The pharmacist just turned and walked away from me. I told him I'm calling the corporate office. Definitely Negligence. Somebody obviously keyed in the prescription wrong and left out the refill information. When I called it in on June 7th or 8 I questioned it. Originally they should have checked the hard copy at that time.

Walgreens store at 3901 Oaklawn Blvd in Hopewell, Virginia. Store is horrible. Most meds take 2-4 days to get filled. Worst store I have ever dealt with. No pharmacist, bad enough the pharmacy is closed on Sundays. Open Mon - Saturday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. No back up pharmacist. So if pharmacist is sick.. nobody can get their meds. I have a heart condition and just had knee replacement. Online it said one was ready, good right ? Check to see about other meds, it said 3 were ready. Check again. It says work in progress and that they are running behind. Check again. Only one was ready. Spent total of 2 hours waiting on my phone waiting for someone to pick up. It was their usual. There’s 4 or more callers ahead of mine then the recording said one caller ahead.

I finally got through to the manager. What a rude, mean, mouthy lady she was. Very sarcastic. She finally said no pharmacist there and check back on Monday to see if the pharmacist is there. I asked to transfer my meds to another Walgreens pharmacy, she said no and to go to the ER. I have no car and couldn’t drive even if I wanted to because of knee surgery. She tried to make this my fault.

By the time I hung up I was in tears. I’ve been told about the management there and now I know what they mean. Neighbors told me how nasty that manager was. She said I’d know there was no pharmacist if I looked at the door sign. I said how can I know this. So there is no back up pharmacist when they are sick. My opinion.. fire that woman manager and use it to hire a backup pharmacist there. A person like her in her position knows to not to take her bad day anger on me or any other customer. I called the Corporate headquarters and put in a complaint. Maybe the corporation should send out “how did we do?“ Maybe that will wake them up.

My latest experience with Walgreens made me tear out my hair. I called in an RX to be filled. The pharmacy told me it would be ready in an hour. When I went to pick it up, I was told that they had already given it to me. What they had actually done was they gave me four tablets because they were out of this med. So, when I went back to get the rest, they refused to give it to me, saying that I had to use up all of the partial prescription (they claimed that they had given me five tabs), before I could get the rest. Mind you, this is a prescription that I have taken for years, and is not a controlled substance.

I argued that they had only given me four tablets. I then asked to speak to the manager, who rushed past where I was sitting, and spoke to the desk person whom I had been dealing with, and rushed past me again. So I sat there, not knowing what was going on, and finally the desk person told me they were going to look at a camera recording to see if I had received four or five pills! So I sat there fuming for a few moments, and the desk person (I'm not going to call them techs because they're not), said to me, "Has anyone talked to you yet?" So I was so angry, because I'd already been there for an hour, and I'm not well, that I got up and left.

Fortunately I had some extra tablets in my emergency bottle in my car. I don't ever want to go back there again. They made me feel like I was some sort of drug addict, even though the medication is simply **. Completely fed up as this is not the first run in I've had with them over stupid, absurd "rules" that they make up on the spot.

06/15/2024 Store #9093. I just came from Walgreens and once again I was told to come back after they said meds were ready yesterday. Thought I would write a review while waiting. Pharmacist came to window and kept telling me I was wrong! I pick up meds for an ill family member on has been on a special med for years now. In order for them to get this med I have to take them to get lab work done monthly. Yesterday family member spoke with female who said the meds needed were ready. Male pharmacist who I spoke to today said no they not, because he was only the person there all day. Oh yes. He did try to give me some medications that were not needed. Before I paid for them I asked if the monthly medicine needed was included, which is was not. So, if he was only person there and did not speak to my family member, why did he have bags of unneeded meds ready for pick-up?

I asked how we can fix this so I only have to make one trip. He told me we need to call and speak with someone. Again, I was called a liar when I said they did. He kept talking over me as tried to explain my what I have experienced for more than a year. I stated in the past I have stood there as the call was being made. I have my family member ask if the medicine is in, because often it is not. We have been told yes, but when I get there and they tell it is not. As I was talking he took the phone (I was outside in the drive thru) away from his ear! Naturally I am enrage!!!

Why is it so hard for Walgreens, who is in the business of handling of medications, to follow through??? Why I does this place insist on wasting my time! I feel very bad for the ill people who have to pick up their own meds. You would think being in this business they would have compassion. I will be having a long talk with my family member about changing pharmacies. I don't have time for all the back and forth or the rude staff.

When I get to the store, the employees act confused as if they don't see the refill in the system. They offer to place the refill again rudely and insinuate I am too stupid to use the app, and the process continues. So I called my doc's office and had them refill my scripts myself, which If they had called the day after they say they got no response I would have called. When I asked why they never mention that prescriptions were missing when they hand me my sealed shopping bag full of meds, they told me I need to assume the responsibility for my own meds, it’s not their job. I’ve been going to Walgreens for years. This is mostly because of the locations of the pharmacies, as many of them are close to my home. And I have to say, overall my experiences have been awful. And I’m not saying this based upon going there once or twice. I’ve gone there hundreds of time. And it’s no exaggeration to say that about 90% of the time there have been “issues.” Average wait time in a line of two to three people is about 20 mins. Everything is so slow: from the processing, to the tech having to speak with the pharmacist, to the tech/pharmacist checking out products that have nothing to do with a pharmacy at the checkout! Why do they allow patrons to check out non-Pharmacy related items?! To make the process more efficient, tell customers that you can only check out pharmacy-related It; anything else can be purchased at the register at the front of the store.

Another issue is that there have been many times when Walgreens simply does not have Medication in stock. And without exception, every time this has happened the response I get is, “that item is out of stock, It won’t be here for a few days.” There is no attempt by the pharmacist or tech to search other Walgreens Or even give a partial fill The medication. I simply have to wait sometimes 3 to 5 days until the item is back in stock. How and why this happens is beyond me. I get that you might run out of medication‘s that are in high demand here and there, but the medication I get are not high demand, nor are they Unpopular meds. Another issue is that of staffing. There’s usually one tech and a pharmacist on duty, no matter what time of day it is. Almost almost every Walgreens I’ve gone to is woefully understaffed.

And another Issue my Walgreens is horrible Based upon my experience, several times that the pharmacy staff simply can’t find my medication. It gets placed in the wrong bin, or is missing entirely, and they have no idea why. Needless to say, this is very upsetting. If it were possible, I would never again go to Walgreens to get medications. My hope is that many, if not all, medication will be able to get through the mail. And given how incompetent Walgreens is, I’m sure that they will mess this novel method of getting medication’s up royally. So much so, that other Beth companies will soon overtake Walgreens and they will hardly exist. Fingers crossed. And sure, there may be plenty of reasons why the above mention things happen. But the bottom line is, I don’t care. I would never recommend Walgreens to anyone— Ever. Their pharmacies are sloppy, unorganized, inefficient, And borderline negligent regarding keeping medication stocked.

Can't even cut open, can't hammer open, can't boil open, and multiple people tried opening it with nothing but a few drops coming out and that was with putting a screwdriver under the edge of the bottle. Cap upper part just spins, but nothing can open the safety cap.

Next Problem: Called Questions or comments number at 18664672748 on 13 March 2024 at 9:31 pm EST, which the CSR instructed me to go back to the store I bought it from. I had already explained I bought it a month ago, with only one usage done and now it won't open. So I explained that again, and that I have to pay to catch a ride share or bus back to that store and there is no guarantee that they will replace it or give me my money back, plus it's been too long. I don't have the receipt anymore. So my sick child has to suffer through the night (No pharmacy is open in my community now. Even the grocery stores are closed) because Walgreens isn't standing behind their products.

I have never bought any cough medicine from Walgreens and I never will. Walgreens got my almost $9 for 4 oz of meds this time, but they will never again it. The worse part was the CSR didn't care at all. That attitude of, just go back to the store was foil. I had to ask him if there was an email address to send my complaint about the product. All he gave me was a phone number (**) and send text a picture with the lot number, expiration date, my name and address. That person just texted back to just push down on the top and twist. They clearly wasn't listening because that didn't help.

After 2 hours of pulling at it with the edge of a table the outer part came off. Another 30 minutes, a screwdriver and hammer later the bottom top came off. So Walgreens would a bottle severely close itself after only one dosage? Why Walgreens couldn't the CSR answer my question by calling the number listed on the medicine? Why was I sent a question telling me what to do when I clearly stated that method didn't work? Walgreen's has never been a good pharmacy and it has only gotten worse.

Usually as any relationship in life everything isn't perfect, but today I called into put in my regular refill and Pat the pharmacist tried to make me feel less than. She 1st stated I didn't fill my prescription at Walgreens, then stated Walgreens doesn't take my Insurance, when for years, I have been using discount cards and paying out of pocket. Then she continued on to state why are using Walgreens, anyway, I stated because my husband pays out of pocket for my monthly prescriptions with me having sickle Cell, my husband ask me, "Why is she interrogating and Gas lighting you."

I then check with my Doctor and she states, "Why are you questioning yourself," I state because this pharmacist is really trying to tell me she doesn't have refills for me and I didn't in the past or now use Walgreens. She advised to call back and express 1st the inappropriate unprofessionalism with her asking inappropriate questions. Then, ask her to check the date my Doctor gave me of last filled prescription. She stated she will call me back (the pharmacist Pat) and when she called me back changed every tune except an apology for trying to Gaslight me and down me as a patient. This is why some patients get horrible service, because some of the people in charge of our safety has no bedside manner and instead of owning up to their mistakes, choose to make us feel less. Hopefully Walgreens on J clyde will help the pharmacist and employees have more empathy for patients with health problems. Now I have to move on because according to Pat pharmacist my business isn't a factor or of any importance. Sad.

Walgreens Pharmacy in Covington KY. From the get go when I went to pick up my prescription, the attendant, a lady with a rather dry demeanor, looked at my bag and made a sound of surprise with her mouth in front of other customers, then proceed to ask me if I was aware of the price, like maybe I can’t afford it. There was a mistake in the prescription and the price was exaggerated, I tried to explain that was the second time filling out that prescription, but she, rather than apply a little bit of empathy or understanding and to find out why the discrepancy, she walked away and call the pharmacist, dismissing me; she didn’t want to deal with me.

The pharmacist, this evening, also came with an attitude and I have to remind him not to be that way because I was a paying customer who came to fill a prescription and nothing else, I was not using social services or insurance, so the attitude was not necessary, only then he try to help and I completed my business and went home with a bitter taste in my mouth for the way I was treated. I observe in this lapse of time how the lady who dismissed me treated other customers and she was smiling to the other people and jokingly calling one of them “troublemaker”. This is my last prescription at that Walmart in Covington, KY which I visited for many years not just for prescriptions; also won't even set a foot in that store for the rest of my natural life, I can promise them that, I am not going to use my money for them to treat me without respect or compassion. Went to the store and asked why my request was not processed as promised, the technician with an attitude didn’t have an explanation.

So I thought to give them one more chance and this time many weeks before running out of my meds I placed an order on Walgreen’s.com, one item was shipped within a couple of weeks but the second item showed “received“ but stayed in received status for days and weeks, I called to find out why is not moving to processing and shipping, the person answering my call said we are running behind and I should have it by the 11th of January. I called the number and it took about 15 minutes to just get through the painful automatic voice. I finally get a pharmacy tech on the line, I wish I would have gotten her name. She could not have been more disinterested if she tried. She yawned, mumbled and truly did not care whether I would be a potential customer.

I asked her “Yes ma’am I am trying to verify that you accept my insurance that is effective the first of the year”. She replied, “YAWN… I guess I can register you if you want.” I explained 3 more times that the insurance wasn’t in effect yet & I had already registered online. She then replied, “Oh. Well then you will have to wait until January”. I again explained the need to know now as I am disabled & have to have mail order pharmacy delivery. She said, “Contact your new insurance and ask them”. I said “I did but as with most companies they want me to use their pharmacy & I wanted to use Walgreens.” She replied, “YAWN… Then I don’t know what to tell you.”

They absolutely have lost the opportunity to have me as a customer. I stopped using Walgreens pharmacy about 25 years ago because of the incompetence & lack of caring by Walgreens. I used to live close to three different brick and mortar Walgreens pharmacies in my area. There was 1 good pharmacist that worked in one store. When she left I gave up. I thought in 25 years time they would have certainly improved their customer service exponentially. I was wrong. They don’t care, aren’t friendly and don’t want your business. The following morning I called and discussed the issue with the Walgreens pharmacist who explained that he had just been given fifteen 5mg pills (one/day) on September 30 and since this was Oct 5th we would have to wait until Oct. 15 before the new prescription for pain could be dispensed.

Do our pharmacists understand the horror of pain and the very human reaction to remove it at any cost—thus the reason my brother took more than one pill a day. He also noted that the prescription was from a different doctor to which I explained that we were unhappy with the former pain clinic. I guess this is what the faux DEA agents at the pharmacy call a red flag. Finally the pharmacist noted that the strength had been increased-a real Sherlock this one is-yet another red flag.

The detectives at the pharmacy also failed to notice that we have been customers of this drug store for years—we did not change pharmacies. We are not Doctor or Pharmacy shoppers, unless shopping for competent and compassionate care are now indicators of illicit drug use. If opioids are the terror that we have been told, then why hasn’t a replacement been formulated or are the geniuses that wish opioids gone incapable of devising a replacement. Is eating, also an addiction that needs regulated, as it makes most of us feel better.

Once again we are penalized for doing it the right way. Is it any wonder why others use less legit avenues of procurement, often without help of medical professionals or insurance. Do we as a society think that pain remains a constant during the progression of a disease? Why is it such a crime to increase the frequency or amount of a drug if it helps a suffering patient? Why do patients suffer if some doctors or pharmacists turn their practice or store into a pill mill?

This logic, if you can call it such, poses the question of who is better prepared and trained to help a patient. I firmly believe that the training and education of our physicians far outweighs that of any pharmacist or government official. This further begs the question of why go to the doctor if the final decision is made by a pharmacist or government employee.

To further elucidate the damning ignorance of those who write and enforce said laws, as I prepare to take my brother to the emergency room for his headaches (of the monumental kind), the ER physicians will surely medicate him with our requested medication, or if like the last time we went, with **. Doesn’t this seem a little hypocritical? The holes in medical prescription of opioids seem laced with as many holes as a chunk of Swiss cheese. We punish the needy for the acts of the criminals, junkies, and the unfortunately addicted.

Has the addition of numerous government agencies, policing authorities, and adjudicating pharmacy programs decreased addiction or death? If you watch any TV news program the answer is simply a resounding no, yet we punish those with a real need, as if this reduces any of the continuing problems. The sacrosanct medical oaths have been preached but forgotten. The only logic I can see in all of this is when you follow the money.

No wonder there are no customers. A lady with a cavalier attitude behind the counter told me my prescription would be ready in 1, maybe 2 or more hours. It was a take it off the shelf and put a label on it kind of prescription and they had had it for hours already. They were not busy either. So I came back in 1.5 hours and she bothered herself enough to talk to the pharmacist who said I can get this over the counter. I asked, "Why didn't you tell me that 1.5 hours ago and I wouldnt have made a second trip." She lit up with an evil grin and said "I didn't know it then". The pharmacist was peering out from his cubbyhole at me like "so whatcha gonna do"? Not one other customer was there and I can see why. That is my last time to give that Walgreens any business at all. Back to CVS I go.

You better love "elevator music". Never less than an hour on hold + factor in 1 or 2 hang ups. Asking when your Rx will be available THEY LIE! Only question is how far from the truth is their response--available in weeks, days or hours. A patient portal or message capabilities would resolve the issue - website could have been designed better by my grandson.

I’m at 1661 w Florida Avenue and I must say the pharmacist service really really really sucks. I have been waiting for an hour to get my medicine and I get back at 1:30 and the cynical woman tells me that she is out for lunch and I have to wait 30 more minutes to see if she has my medicine or if I have to wait longer. This is the worst place I.

After months of receiving the poorest of service, concerning my monthly refills,(call me stupid, for staying with them as long as I have, with this low level of service), I am finally moving my prescriptions. I was just told that if you have a very important prescription, (for me, I cannot miss one day of), that even if it is on automatic refill, they might not have it in stock. WTF.
