Walgreens has a phone bank that is horrible. The website is even worse. The staff would rather you die while waiting for your prescription than show empathy and understanding. I have a life ending condition and due to Walgreens I have been without medication for 4 days.

Received a text message stating prescription was ready for pickup. Drove up to pick up the prescription, I used the drive thru area and I was told to come wait inside because it wasn’t ready. I waited inside for about 15-20 minutes and was then told they do not have the prescription and it would be difficult to get there, and they “may or may not have it on Wednesday” which is two days from now. I was then told the text message you receive stating it is ready is automatic and it does not mean they actually have it ready.

Took 2 scripts in to get filled. 1 was filled. The other was ordered and was to be in the next day. The next day they said the doctor was on a DO NOT FILL list, which was a lie. And if so why did they fill the 1st script? Went to another pharmacy who reached out to Walgreens and they told them the same thing. The med is a med you cannot just stop taking as it has severe withdrawal symptoms such as seizures and even death. They had no compassion whatsoever. DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY, they could care less about their patients. I ended up finding a local pharmacy. Oh and Taylor the Pharmacy Supervisor at that location shouldn't even be allowed in the Pharmacy industry. Talks over you and very condescending.

Simple terrible. I had hospital transfer medication order to Walgreens. Walgreens sent me emails they received the info and that I could go to the store I had picked, to pick it up last Sunday. I get there, nobody in pharmacy knew anything about it. I showed them the info I received from Walgreens. I still am out of my medicine, if I get sick due to this, Walgreens will know.

We didn’t choose Walgreens; we fell into it by a buy out of the Bi-Mart pharmacy in their store. There is a persistent personnel shortage. The person in front is woefully overworked and stressed. It comes out in a terse, dismissive attitude. Apparently there have been words exchanged with the customers; there is now a sign that basically states that we have to have mutual respect for each other. The hours were shortened. We now do not have pharmacy on weekends. We will be changing to a different pharmacy.

I am very worried about the vaccinations they give. I had a Nurse that seemed like she was spastic and spacey when I requested a flu vaccine and forgot which shot she was giving me. To be honest I came to Walgreens because it was a 24 hour pharmacy. If I am congested in the middle of night I am stuck waiting until morning because ** is held behind the counter. Also love it when Google hours are always wrong when it comes to them being open. There was a girl at the register that was trying to close a half hour early and her heart sank when I told her I was ready to check out. I can understand 5 mins before closing. I apologize for interrupting your work besties fun time counting the til. I didn't mean to be rude shopping for a medicine. I very rarely go to a Walgreens. I go to Albertsons because even though the prices are higher, I have better quality care and competent staff to take care of medical questions. Also they don't close early.

I was a Walgreens Pharmacy customer for years…Until I really needed a good pharmacy after my heart surgery I never realized how rude and incompetent the staff seems. I have a lot of issues and I’m on a lot of meds everyday just to be able to function at all. On refill day, when I pick up, it comes in a shopping bag with the paperwork stapled to the top. After being notified my prescriptions are ready I picked up and brought the bag home only to find 2 of my heart meds are missing. They had the order to refill for a week or so before they were ready.
So I called and they told me they tried to call the doctor but they never heard back..Meanwhile I have like one day's worth of these meds that I just can’t stop taking because they didn’t follow up on my order…that’s their job. So I called my doc's office and had them refill my scripts myself, which If they had called the day after they say they got no response I would have called. When I asked why they never mention that prescriptions were missing when they hand me my sealed shopping bag full of meds, they told me I need to assume the responsibility for my own meds, it’s not their job. They were fired on the spot…Me having to take responsibility cost them thousands between what I paid and my insurance paid. They also gouged the prices of diabetic supplies during the pandemic

I went through the drive-through to pickup my 90-day blood pressure RX. When I returned home, I realized that I only received 27 pills. I called the Pharmacist, who mentioned there was a machine count issue and agreed that I pick up the remaining 63 pills the day my additional pending RX would be ready. I returned to pick up the new RX and my missing blood pressure one. Ianna, who serviced me through the drive-through window, this day, didn’t see my old, missing order and advised me to drive around the parking lot so see can service others in line.
I asked her if she meant drive around until my RX was ready and get back in line. She confirmed yes’s and said I could come inside and wait. These are two mistakes and I was offended. There was no remorse on behalf of Walgreens at their fault. I told her I will send a review online. I suggested she send me a message that it’s ready. I should not have to spend my gas for their mistakes. Ianna called me when I was halfway home to inform me the RX was ready.

We have frequently had to wait in the pharmacy drive thru of the Fort Wright, Kentucky Walgreens for 28, 32, and 48 minutes for prescriptions that were called in hours before. Then when you get to the window and they close on you. What happened to serving everyone in line?? Today, I was told to come back in 15 minutes. I did and they closed 2 minutes early. I tried to run in the store and I had 1 minute left before closing time and they refused to open to give me my heart medication. This was the last straw. I plan to change to the Kroger pharmacy down the road. Shameful Walgreens!

I’ve been going to Walgreens for years. This is mostly because of the locations of the pharmacies, as many of them are close to my home. And I have to say, overall my experiences have been awful. And I’m not saying this based upon going there once or twice. I’ve gone there hundreds of time. And it’s no exaggeration to say that about 90% of the time there have been “issues.” Average wait time in a line of two to three people is about 20 mins. Everything is so slow: from the processing, to the tech having to speak with the pharmacist, to the tech/pharmacist checking out products that have nothing to do with a pharmacy at the checkout! Why do they allow patrons to check out non-Pharmacy related items?! To make the process more efficient, tell customers that you can only check out pharmacy-related It; anything else can be purchased at the register at the front of the store.
Another issue is that there have been many times when Walgreens simply does not have Medication in stock. And without exception, every time this has happened the response I get is, “that item is out of stock, It won’t be here for a few days.” There is no attempt by the pharmacist or tech to search other Walgreens Or even give a partial fill The medication. I simply have to wait sometimes 3 to 5 days until the item is back in stock. How and why this happens is beyond me. I get that you might run out of medication‘s that are in high demand here and there, but the medication I get are not high demand, nor are they Unpopular meds. Another issue is that of staffing. There’s usually one tech and a pharmacist on duty, no matter what time of day it is. Almost almost every Walgreens I’ve gone to is woefully understaffed.
And another Issue my Walgreens is horrible Based upon my experience, several times that the pharmacy staff simply can’t find my medication. It gets placed in the wrong bin, or is missing entirely, and they have no idea why. Needless to say, this is very upsetting. If it were possible, I would never again go to Walgreens to get medications. My hope is that many, if not all, medication will be able to get through the mail. And given how incompetent Walgreens is, I’m sure that they will mess this novel method of getting medication’s up royally. So much so, that other Beth companies will soon overtake Walgreens and they will hardly exist. Fingers crossed. And sure, there may be plenty of reasons why the above mention things happen. But the bottom line is, I don’t care. I would never recommend Walgreens to anyone— Ever. Their pharmacies are sloppy, unorganized, inefficient, And borderline negligent regarding keeping medication stocked.

I placed an order through this horrible app on Friday 4/12/24 prior to the store opening. I called Walgreens Customer Service number when I notice that the charge was applied to my bank account several times. I was told that this was an IT issue and that the funds should be returned to my account the next morning. I am a single mother on a single income so this was really stressful for me. I called back the next day and was told that I would receive my funds on Monday since this occurred on Friday.
This was different than what I was told yesterday and was extremely frustrating. I called back on Tuesday after still not being refunded my $80+ on Monday as promised and was told that it may not be refunded until Thursday but that she will put in an escalation ticket. I then asked for them to close my walgreens account because this is highly unacceptable, the app is a nightmare, and customers service reps has consistently provided false information. I may receive my refund on my next payday. This was a really hard week for me and it is extremely frustrating that Walgreens caused it to be so, and could simply care less.

The pharmacy never answers the phone in a reasonable time. It's taken over 25 minutes on several occasions to get someone to answer. When they finally answer they sound clearly agitated, rushed and extremely rude. I’ve been short on pain pills that were initialed showing double checked (they did correct this and were replaced). Very unprofessional, do not recommend. I don’t know how the rest of the store is run, but from what I can tell you, I would avoid this location's pharmacy.

I would voluntarily use Walgreens usually but recently I was forced to use them because I had trouble getting any medication from my usual pharmacy that actually delivers. Walgreens takes an eternity to do anything and the one I used actually lost my prescription from the doctor. How do you lose an electronic script? It’s also NEVER ready when they say it is. Then when it is ready they still take all day ringing it up. I hope the shortage on medication is over so I can go back to my old pharmacy because Walgreens sucks!

I use Walgreens to receive my medication. They recently took it upon themselves to split a 30 day prescription into a 15 day so they could charge me a second co-pay to get the remainder of my medication. I couldn't afford the second co-pay and had to wait for the next month to get a full prescription from another pharmacy. A second problem is that their automated system constantly notified me that my prescription was being worked on and when I would call to check on the status, they would later tell me that they hadn't received a script.

I had a prescription placed with Walgreens last night. It took until around noontime today for the prescription to be ready. That's fine. I selected same delivery and paid the extra $5.99 plus a courier tip so I would get my medication TODAY. Called the pharmacy at 5:15pm as it still hadn't been delivered and was told "the order never went through" (even though the website said that my order was waiting for a courier). Why the hell did I pay for same day delivery if there was no intention of getting me my prescription when I needed it?? That is really shoddy practices. They best reimburse me the same-day delivery fee and courier tip since I will be picking the prescription up myself tomorrow (I couldn't get there today, which is why I selected same-day delivery).

Walgreens Children's Cold, Cough & Runny Nose, had a Major Problem: Can not open bottle after first time use. Can't even cut open, can't hammer open, can't boil open, and multiple people tried opening it with nothing but a few drops coming out and that was with putting a screwdriver under the edge of the bottle. Cap upper part just spins, but nothing can open the safety cap.
Next Problem: Called Questions or comments number at 18664672748 on 13 March 2024 at 9:31 pm EST, which the CSR instructed me to go back to the store I bought it from. I had already explained I bought it a month ago, with only one usage done and now it won't open. So I explained that again, and that I have to pay to catch a ride share or bus back to that store and there is no guarantee that they will replace it or give me my money back, plus it's been too long. I don't have the receipt anymore. So my sick child has to suffer through the night (No pharmacy is open in my community now. Even the grocery stores are closed) because Walgreens isn't standing behind their products.
I have never bought any cough medicine from Walgreens and I never will. Walgreens got my almost $9 for 4 oz of meds this time, but they will never again it. The worse part was the CSR didn't care at all. That attitude of, just go back to the store was foil. I had to ask him if there was an email address to send my complaint about the product. All he gave me was a phone number (**) and send text a picture with the lot number, expiration date, my name and address. That person just texted back to just push down on the top and twist. They clearly wasn't listening because that didn't help.
After 2 hours of pulling at it with the edge of a table the outer part came off. Another 30 minutes, a screwdriver and hammer later the bottom top came off. So Walgreens would a bottle severely close itself after only one dosage? Why Walgreens couldn't the CSR answer my question by calling the number listed on the medicine? Why was I sent a question telling me what to do when I clearly stated that method didn't work? Walgreen's has never been a good pharmacy and it has only gotten worse.

Usually as any relationship in life everything isn't perfect, but today I called into put in my regular refill and Pat the pharmacist tried to make me feel less than. She 1st stated I didn't fill my prescription at Walgreens, then stated Walgreens doesn't take my Insurance, when for years, I have been using discount cards and paying out of pocket. Then she continued on to state why are using Walgreens, anyway, I stated because my husband pays out of pocket for my monthly prescriptions with me having sickle Cell, my husband ask me, "Why is she interrogating and Gas lighting you."
I then check with my Doctor and she states, "Why are you questioning yourself," I state because this pharmacist is really trying to tell me she doesn't have refills for me and I didn't in the past or now use Walgreens. She advised to call back and express 1st the inappropriate unprofessionalism with her asking inappropriate questions. Then, ask her to check the date my Doctor gave me of last filled prescription. She stated she will call me back (the pharmacist Pat) and when she called me back changed every tune except an apology for trying to Gaslight me and down me as a patient. This is why some patients get horrible service, because some of the people in charge of our safety has no bedside manner and instead of owning up to their mistakes, choose to make us feel less. Hopefully Walgreens on J clyde will help the pharmacist and employees have more empathy for patients with health problems. Now I have to move on because according to Pat pharmacist my business isn't a factor or of any importance. Sad.

Walgreens Pharmacy in Covington KY. From the get go when I went to pick up my prescription, the attendant, a lady with a rather dry demeanor, looked at my bag and made a sound of surprise with her mouth in front of other customers, then proceed to ask me if I was aware of the price, like maybe I can’t afford it. There was a mistake in the prescription and the price was exaggerated, I tried to explain that was the second time filling out that prescription, but she, rather than apply a little bit of empathy or understanding and to find out why the discrepancy, she walked away and call the pharmacist, dismissing me; she didn’t want to deal with me.
The pharmacist, this evening, also came with an attitude and I have to remind him not to be that way because I was a paying customer who came to fill a prescription and nothing else, I was not using social services or insurance, so the attitude was not necessary, only then he try to help and I completed my business and went home with a bitter taste in my mouth for the way I was treated. I observe in this lapse of time how the lady who dismissed me treated other customers and she was smiling to the other people and jokingly calling one of them “troublemaker”. This is my last prescription at that Walmart in Covington, KY which I visited for many years not just for prescriptions; also won't even set a foot in that store for the rest of my natural life, I can promise them that, I am not going to use my money for them to treat me without respect or compassion. It doesn't matter how light or small the extra item is. And they often have false deals, like this olive oil in clearance for example, if you add some in your cart and try to check out, it will always prompt a message saying you can't buy them regardless of the quantity.
There's one time I ordered some toilet paper from them and it advertised one equals 4 regular rolls. I only realized it's a total lie when the item arrived. She said, “Contact your new insurance and ask them”. I said “I did but as with most companies they want me to use their pharmacy & I wanted to use Walgreens.” She replied, “YAWN… Then I don’t know what to tell you.”
They absolutely have lost the opportunity to have me as a customer. I stopped using Walgreens pharmacy about 25 years ago because of the incompetence & lack of caring by Walgreens. I used to live close to three different brick and mortar Walgreens pharmacies in my area. There was 1 good pharmacist that worked in one store. When she left I gave up. I thought in 25 years time they would have certainly improved their customer service exponentially. I was wrong. They don’t care, aren’t friendly and don’t want your business. All she had to do was look at their computer and see if they accepted my new plan. She didn’t want to make that effort so I will find a company that will.

I can’t believe they handled my situation the way they did. They told me my RX could not be filled until the next day. The next day I called they told me they couldn’t fill it until the next day. Again. I talked to a guy and we finally figured it out. This was at 11:15 am. Then I received a text at 11:31 saying my RX was ready. Omg. I didn’t have a ride by this time to go get it.
My mom went at 2 today to get my RX abs. They told her it was not ready. What?? They ahead knew I have been waiting for this RX but they decided to wait until 2 to start on it. Who is running this circus? I don’t think anyone there could add 2+2 and get 4 with the way they handled this issue. Doing so there. This of one huge reason why I stopped having my RX sent to them. This is not the 1st time they have needed things up. Save yourself the headache. Trust me. Don’t ask for Vikki either, she is not professional at all. I have proof of these dates as well.

We both have Medicare and prescription coverage, but they kept telling us we were "TPR". We asked what that meant and were told it was 3rd party rejected. After 20 minutes, we left very frustrated. How many times can one pharmacy lose prescriptions?! Four times now I have had to have doctor’s offices resend prescriptions, after confirming the pharmacy had them, to resend them because somehow they were lost after I talked to the pharmacy. Add to it that this time they still have the prescriptions, they just didn’t bother to submit the refill?! I don’t understand. The pharmacist says the system has been acting weird. Really?! Since March of this year?! After they lost a third prescription in April, I asked the pharmacy cashier when I dropped off another prescription not to lose it and she told me that they don’t lose prescriptions. I told her they just lost three for my household IN A WEEK and she was not pleased with me. Here is a thought, “Walgreens, DO YOUR JOB!”

We have an opioid crisis, but should law breakers and those with no personal responsibility remove the beneficial pain relief that many cancer and otherwise pain afflicted patients have. A study from the Cochrane Review found that fewer than 1% of pain patients without prior addictions get hooked on opioids, yet they are the ones hurt by the often arbitrary restriction on their use. Is the Hippocratic Oath of relieving pain and suffering an artifact of the past? In what bizarre world does the DEA have the ethical and/or legal right in 2016 to limit opioid production. Limited supply by some questionable agency only results in increased prices and unwarranted pain for many with chronic pain.
My brother, who has brain cancer (diagnosed in 2008 at MD Anderson) has been on a regimen of one 5 mg ** per day, yet in the last few months we have requested an increase to two a day. Silence was the only response we received. We would gladly forgo the medicine if a cure was offered, yet none has been in sight and the disease progresses, while my brother suffers more and was only offered a reduction to ** and ** when he went to the pain clinic at MD Anderson.
Is it any wonder that we went to another closer and highly recommended pain management clinic? Upon seeing the Doctor, who is an Anesthesiologist, he immediately prescribed two ** a day and an increase from 5mg to 7.5mg. I salute him for he has ensconced within him the true signature of a healer. Hours later after checking the prescription status at Walgreens we are notified that the prescription is under review. The following morning I called and discussed the issue with the Walgreens pharmacist who explained that he had just been given fifteen 5mg pills (one/day) on September 30 and since this was Oct 5th we would have to wait until Oct. 15 before the new prescription for pain could be dispensed.
Do our pharmacists understand the horror of pain and the very human reaction to remove it at any cost—thus the reason my brother took more than one pill a day. He also noted that the prescription was from a different doctor to which I explained that we were unhappy with the former pain clinic. I guess this is what the faux DEA agents at the pharmacy call a red flag. Finally the pharmacist noted that the strength had been increased-a real Sherlock this one is-yet another red flag.
The detectives at the pharmacy also failed to notice that we have been customers of this drug store for years—we did not change pharmacies. We are not Doctor or Pharmacy shoppers, unless shopping for competent and compassionate care are now indicators of illicit drug use. If opioids are the terror that we have been told, then why hasn’t a replacement been formulated or are the geniuses that wish opioids gone incapable of devising a replacement. Is eating, also an addiction that needs regulated, as it makes most of us feel better.
Once again we are penalized for doing it the right way. Is it any wonder why others use less legit avenues of procurement, often without help of medical professionals or insurance. Do we as a society think that pain remains a constant during the progression of a disease? Why is it such a crime to increase the frequency or amount of a drug if it helps a suffering patient? Why do patients suffer if some doctors or pharmacists turn their practice or store into a pill mill?
This logic, if you can call it such, poses the question of who is better prepared and trained to help a patient. I firmly believe that the training and education of our physicians far outweighs that of any pharmacist or government official. This further begs the question of why go to the doctor if the final decision is made by a pharmacist or government employee.
To further elucidate the damning ignorance of those who write and enforce said laws, as I prepare to take my brother to the emergency room for his headaches (of the monumental kind), the ER physicians will surely medicate him with our requested medication, or if like the last time we went, with **. Doesn’t this seem a little hypocritical? The holes in medical prescription of opioids seem laced with as many holes as a chunk of Swiss cheese. We punish the needy for the acts of the criminals, junkies, and the unfortunately addicted.
Has the addition of numerous government agencies, policing authorities, and adjudicating pharmacy programs decreased addiction or death? If you watch any TV news program the answer is simply a resounding no, yet we punish those with a real need, as if this reduces any of the continuing problems. The sacrosanct medical oaths have been preached but forgotten. The only logic I can see in all of this is when you follow the money.

When we spoke to the pharmacist she states that a simple generic cough medication such as ** was not covered my most insurances (which we knew she was lying, we had prescribed other patients this medication and had no issues picking it up from other pharmacies). We asked that could it be possible, the patient has Medicare and Medicaid. She had not even try running the claim through Medicaid. We then were informed by the pharmacist that it is not covered and she can use a coupon to lower the price, which was $56.
We called a different pharmacy (local one) the pharmacist was so kind to process the claim and realized that the only reason Medicaid was not paying was because due to the patient having also Medicare as primary insurance, she also a managed plan to pay for her medications (Empire Plan) which the pharmacist informed us that it lets whoever runs the claim know about such plan. Thanks to them patient was able to obtain her medication at no cost.
So, all WALGREENS DRUG STORE #03102 had to do was do right by the patient and ask her to provide the Empire Plan card which has all the information needed in order to process the claim for the medication. 1. Staffing shortage - Every store, not just one. I actually feel bad for the pharmacist and technicians. The phone consistently rings because no one can answer it. If you call a store be prepared to wait, sometimes over a half hour. The shortage makes a hostile working environment and a bad experience for the customers.
2. Product shortage - A lot of times medications are on back order and it may take over several weeks to get one prescription filled. If you get a partial order, the rest of your order is cancelled then you have to get another prescription from your doctor. Time after time this makes me run out of my medications and I get sick or go through withdrawals. Some of my medications takes 3-4 weeks to start working again. The shortages of medications are adding to the pharmacy's bad reputation.
3. After I get my last prescription filled, I'll be switching pharmacies. It's to bad. I looked up how much I spend just in prescriptions per year and it's around $10,000. So I've been getting my medications for ten years from the same store. So by me switching stores, Walgreens pharmacy just lost $100,000 in a ten year period. That's a bad business practice if you ask me. Something else, more and more people are doing the same thing. No wonder Walgreens is failing.

Walgreens in Madison Ohio really sucks. They don't do what they say, bill the wrong part of my insurance constantly and I still haven't gotten my scripts yet. Still waiting. I won't not recommend them at all, but I have to use them for my DME. I have never seen a pharmacy that is incompetent like this one is, don't think they know how to bill insurances correctly. It's all I've gotten from them is the complete run around for almost a week. They obviously don't give a damn if their customers have what they need and rely on to live. I get better service from Wal-Mart's pharmacy. At least they do their job and do as they say. Unlike Walgreens who doesn't, they told my Dr's office they would send over the prior authorization papers so I can get my DME and they never sent them over. So aggravated and fed up with them and their **. It's really bad when you can't get your diabetic supplies that you rely on especially to survive.
I would have told this Walgreens off but I didn't want to get kicked out of the store., they have employees who are not sure if they submitted your insurance correctly. Really are you kidding me seriously!?!? They constantly have a billing error where my insurance will not cover them, when especially my insurance has told them numerous times of what it has to be billed under. And they refuse to listen and I'm in the middle of all of this. If they did their job and do what they say this wouldn't be an issue. Not to mention the stuff I need for my diabetes is over a thousand dollars and they are playing with my life by not filling what I need.

I was ordering my prescriptions in Mesquite NV until I learned they were ripping people off. I switched all my prescriptions over to Amazon and saved $3,966.15 per year and yes Amazon can ship refrigerated drugs and they're delivered the next day to your front door. So there's also the fuel savings on top of prescription savings.

Always having scripts not in stock and having to wait until they order them and then sometimes they don't come in. Having to go without my heart medicine for a couple days because they didn't have in stock. Then they made a mistake when they gave me a parcel and now having trouble getting my insurance to cover it. This goes on all the time, it is just one example.

I made an appt at my usual Walgreens for a COVID-19 booster shot. It was a Sunday and the place was deserted. The pharmacist said she was too busy to honor my appt. I scheduled another appt an hour later at a different Walgreens and got a similar refusal. Tried once more at another Walgreens and got an argument about not meeting the criteria. It was yet another excuse to avoid doing their job! I finally scheduled one more time at a CVS pharmacy. Also very deserted but I was vaccinated immediately by their pharmacist without any hassle or delay. So I decided I will never give any Walgreens my business again.

I was very confused on some pricing but overall the experience was amazing thanks to one employer Diane. She stayed with me on the register and explain to me about offers and deals that I had. She even showed me how to use the app. Thanks to her I will be coming back to the store more often. Hopefully I get to see her again. Also thanks to Jacobe for running around the unlock things for us.

I've been a customer of Walgreens since 1975. In the Chicago location that I used for 20 years the service was awesome and efficient. Now back to Texas using the Colleyville location I leave frustrated every time which is about 3 times a month. There was a young new employee today who said she couldn't hear me (even though she repeated my address to me) and asked for identification. I was in a hurry and had been waiting in line a long time so I wasn't pleased that I had to rummage through my purse for my license when no one had asked for that before. Every movement she made was without any level of urgency. I don't know the reason but I see service going downhill every time I'm there. Maybe it's just time to move on.

I have been dealing with this pharmacy for over a year and nothing changes. Do not try and call because you will waste at least an hour of your day and they are unbothered by the lack of customer service as well as getting your medication on time. They treat people as numbers and have no empathy for your situation or your needed medication. I have had enough with this company and have since switched over to Publix where they treat you with the utmost respect and actually care. Walgreens needs to close down what a disgusting way to treat people who just want their medication filled on time and with a smile. Is that too much to ask? YES IT IS for this company! 24 hr Walgreens on N. Main St. Summerville S.C. 29483.

Month after month. Whether my prescriptions are controlled substances or "just" life saving Diabetes meds. Walgreens ran our "Family owned pharmacy" out of business in the name of Big Pharma. Ever since, my family and I have had nothing but trouble getting prescriptions filled. They outright lie about why the scripts are late, being picked up early, need a doctor's referral Etc. Ever since the Left has taken over our government they claim it's all about Equity. That would be accurate if ALL ** were equal. I have been told they are out of stock for ** (long acting insulin) only to have a person of color pick up the same script early.
Also have picked up scripts for my disabled wife only to have to drive back to Walgreens to take back someone else's prescription who most likely needed it for a serious condition. Yet a week later they lie and claim that never happens. They (Walgreens) are very much like our Lying Government, Lying CDC and corrupt FDA and DEA! Scary times we live in. We tell them the truth as we are looking for help and Guidance and they throw us under the bus. Why do we keep accepting this behavior?

The pharmacy sent me a message saying my meds were ready. I wasn't able to go and pick them up until 3 days later because the only hours they are open are the hours that I am at work. I sat in a 30 minute line only to be told the meds had been "put back" and they would have to reorder them. Excuse me?? I need this medication to survive. It's on automatic reorder and I have 10 days to pick it up. The tech was EXTREMELY rude, flailing her hands around and saying to me, "Well, you should have picked them up on time." Lady, those meds have been on automatic refill for FOUR YEARS and I've never had to pick them up immediately. She then started telling me that 2 other meds had been picked up at a different location. Yeah, that was LAST MONTH and had nothing to do with what we were doing now.
She went on to raise her voice and tell me there was nothing she could do. The other tech were no help at all and no one seemed to know why my medication wasn't there or what had happened to it. I now have to wait 3 days until they can reorder it. It might be here by then. It might not be. No one seems to know! I'm now worried I won't have my medication in time and missing a day is not an option. This lady was so utterly rude, I seriously wanted to scream back at her. Do not EVER get a vital prescription filled at this pharmacy. Choose a smaller business.

Any time the prescription cannot be filled due to some issues, the pharmacy should be reaching out to the doctor instead of telling the patients that unable to fill the prescription. Every time our office tries to call PHARMACY to answer their phone calls, or call in prescription, we go on answering system that makes us wait more than 30 to 40 minutes (same message, every call ”there are more than three calls waiting ahead of your call”). Many times we hang up because we have no time to wait anymore. They need to have somebody answer the phone calls from physician’s offices, quickly rather than making them wait 30 to 40 minutes.

I have been refilling a prescription for over 2 years now, every month, same Walgreens. Each month I call before I go wait in line for 45 minutes, to make sure the prescription is ready. They have never answered in less than 30 minutes, and it can take up to an hour on hold. Even though they have had the prescription for more than a day, they haven't bothered to order the medicine until I call. Sometimes calling doesn't help, because when I arrive, it was entered into the computer wrong (as cash pay) and they didn't fill it because it was too expensive for 'someone' to pay.
Had they checked my account, they would see it's me. Same prescription, same insurance each month. So I spent 45 minutes in line, and another hour or more waiting on the prescription. Last time I went in and had to wait for them to fill it (after my normal phone call before I came in), they didn't give me the full prescription. I was not notified that it was short, and I was not advised on how to pick up the remaining prescription. I was hoping that after going there for more than 2 years, they would treat me as a good customer, but I was wrong. I am just one of the crowd.

So many times it states my prescription is filling, then ready, go back double check since hadn't received a text and then it on hold, delayed or needs approval. Get 2 prescriptions every 30 days, yes guess controlled substances but NEED them to function and they've been saying it's too early to fill at 31days? Say what, see date on bottle from when picked up last as well as the app tells you when last received. But each month gets worse and worse. Then day actually need medication, had doctors appt at 1pm and was due for refill that day actually day prior l, so overdue. Called pharmacy after work so could pick up on way home, almost 5hrs after doctor called it in and they put me on hold for a bit, then said, "Yes we received it. Just need to fill it."
I explained wanted to grab on way home, she said, "Yes I'm doing now," that was over 2hrs ago and still waiting. BUT unfortunately can't get my prescriptions anywhere else now due to all these freaking restrictions on insurances, it definitely stinks for the people that really need it, heck and shouldn't matter if need or not, if prescribed to you by a doctor should be able to get...

Can someone please explain the definition of customer service? Apparently the Walgreens Pharmacy has now turned into CVS. I thought y'all were better than that. Shame on me.. People tried to explain to me that Walgreens Pharmacy was always the better of 3 or 4 different pharmaicis on the Fort. WRONG! How many times do I really need to get a pre-authorization from my doctor. Who has to argue about medication that YOU NEED? I wonder how many patients you've turned away because YOU can't find their information. It's sad. Good luck to whomever set foot there.

When large corporations cannot serve their community, they need to CARE ENOUGH about their customers to make arrangements to fill their critical scripts. I live in a small town and my SSRI, Effexor, was sent there. After several days of being "in process", they now post a "temporarily closed" sign with no instructions for customers on when or if it will re-open. This has caused me to go into severe withdrawal and has disrupted my work and basic functionality this week. This is a drug that should never be stopped abruptly.
I can't imagine some of the life-saving drugs that people had to jump through hoops to get scripts transferred, etc. They made no effort to transfer scripts to other Walgreens locations or to contact customers to instruct. THEY DON'T CARE enough to take the simple initiative to at least attempt to help people. They just closed and basically said, "You're on your own people". Very unprofessional and reckless!!!! I'm now on day 6 of no meds while my doctor's office scrambles to reallocate. The only good news about this is that I've been forced into withdrawal and I'm going to ride it out the best I can. I never want to be in this position again and my trust for pharmacies, especially Walgreens is completely gone. I'm sure they'll delete this because they'd never want their customers to know the truth. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU!

The main Walgreens.com and app has contradictory information. For example some prescriptions I’ve filled as of the last month and it shows last filled January 2023. My psychiatrist calls in refills every 4 months when I see him. Some of those show no refills when I know this to not be the case. They’re all prescribed together. My endocrinologist called in 6 months of ** a month ago, app shows no refills.
It’s a mess as well as the pharmacy itself is and issues I’ve had at the stores with a pharmacist not feeling comfortable refilling something vital to my diagnosis ordered by a psychiatrist/neurologist. The next day another pharmacist called the Dr and had to have the doctor reorder it because the woman canceled it completely. Ironically I’ve been on it 4 months and the same Walgreens filled it all those months with no issue. The app, the main .com and physical locations are all a hot mess. The .com often freezes. I need more ** and since their app shows zero refills instead of 5 I guess I have to call her office. I am done with Walgreens. Moving all my prescriptions…surely I couldn’t find a worse pharmacy. Also they think nothing of letting you sit on hold for at least 30 minutes and are often very rude when they answer.

This is for the pharmacy only, so my Dr sent the rx in yesterday and their system/app is always messed up and you have to call to verify if your order is done yet or not. Until today the past month trying to get through on the phone is 1-2hr wait. Which is another issue in itself. So my rx sent yesterday was pending got busy and didn't stop by. Today I call and they flat out told me the other patients meds are more important than mine and that's why they were not filled yesterday! Like are you seriously telling me I'm less important than others? What kind of customer service is that.
Amongst many issues I've had with the pharmacy I'd highly recommend going elsewhere for your meds. Especially the 13 south black horse pike Williamstown nj 08094 store! Horrible Horrible service and care there. Now I have to switch all my meds to another pharmacy.
