I placed an order today to groceries at Target for pickup. The order is not seen on my app. Target took the money and when I call customer service the hold time to speak to someone is 62 mins. I finally get a person and she says, "Well there is an issue with orders not going through." I told her my money was deducted from my bank. She said wait to see if it gets refunded. She said there is nothing she can do to help me. Target is becoming so horrible. They just expect people to be ok with 212.45 just being taken. And they have absolutely the worst customer service. Target use to be so professional and a great place to shop. I will have to go to Walmart for now on. Shame on Target.

Ordered an iPad online for delivery from Target. Received an empty box that was retapped and a charge on my target card for the cost of the iPad. So far customer service has not replaced the product or credit my account. Supposedly they did an “investigation” but will not shared their findings. Still trying to resolve but have very little confidence target will resolve. Will need to engage an attorney and/or go to small claims court. Imagine Amazon, Walmart etc., delivering an empty box and not rectifying the issue. Now I know why target is a declining business.

Yes this Target is a Beautiful store. A great place to shop but only in the store. It’s definitely not a store to order products and have delivered. You can read the other negative reviews. I had the option of picking up this television within two hours and it was only 2 miles away. After reading the reviews how they come damaged I called a couple of hours later if I could pick the television up. Hannah at Target customer service said, "No. Your order it’s still in process and pending. There is no assigned driver but once you paid, we cannot cancel it. Feel free to return it if you want." Four days later, a message from FedEx that they’re looking to get me a replacement and a new delivery date. Another 24 hours no delivery date set. In my opinion definitely do not order from Target for the Holidays unless you want to take this kind of risk.

I had an issue with an item that I ordered at Target.com. I was sent the wrong item but it was labeled as the right item. After 2 days, 2 stores and several incomprehensible calls to Target.com, it was finally solved by a sweet woman at the second store. After all this I was sent an email to rate my experience. I definitely did not give glowing reviews. The experience was abysmal. The next morning I got a grotesque email (attached) from a target team member's personal email. She had gotten my info from the survey. It was a complete violation. I sent all this to Target but it doesn't seem like it's an issue.

Target means such a big chain of stores shocks me when they resell returned items that are broken. Beware when you shop here. You could be purchasing a large expensive item that’s already been returned and broken and target knows, but they’d rather just push it off onto the next instead of taking the lost themselves. Never shopping here again.

I called to CLOSE my Target Red Card account and received an email saying that "an authorized user had been removed from my account." That's weird because I was the ONLY person on the account. Two customer service reps continued the lie by saying, "I see that your account is closed." If that's the case, why can't you email me that it has been closed? It took two more phone calls and finally reaching a supervisor who admitted that my account had not been CLOSED. I asked the supervisor to repeat what she said to be sure that I heard her correctly. She confirmed that my account had not been CLOSED but that she would close it right now. This was a deliberate tactic of the two customer service representatives to keep my account OPEN. Is this Target's new plan to rebuild its business? BEWARE! If you want to close your Red Card account, insist on speaking with a supervisor.

This seems about right…. 1.7 stars. Obviously they are so big that they no longer care about taking care of their customers when an issue arises. I tried addressing my issue today with an employee and was quickly shut down as she cited company policy without listening to anything else I had to say. When I called to talk to a manager, I received the exact same treatment and was told I could find the number for customer service on the website before he hung up on me. In no world should a customer who shops weekly at ANY business and has spent thousands of dollars with, be shut down and treated with such little regard. Empty apologies & citing company policy is NOT customer service.

Whatever you do, NEVER trust this disgraceful store. They are nothing but money-hungry. They have people standing in line for Black Friday for a bag that they were never going to get. Doors open at 6 am, and they out here giving people gift bags at 3 am instead of making them wait in the cold until 6 like everyone else. The whole thing was a ploy to get people to waste their time to stand in a line in hopes of getting a bag that was already gone missing out on other deals. The staff was rude and inconsiderate.

I turned around and left because I refuse to give con artists my money. I am honestly not even sure if I want to give this corporation any of my finances going forward after this, and if so, it damn sure won’t be this ** store with rude management and employees. No one has an answer as to why it is taking so long to resolve the case. I have stopped shopping at Target.

I'd like to tell you about my most recent visit to a Target store. This was in Glen Allen, VA, across from what was once Virginia Center Commons Mall but for all I know is representative of ALL Targets. I walked in and there were no cashiers, only self checkout available. Major red flag. I kept going, because I was looking for something specific and I'd already checked Wal Mart. Not having any cashiers to ring me up was something I could worry about if I found what I was looking for. Place your bets at this point whether I did or not.

I wandered about a bit, looking for the specific section the device I was looking for -a vacuum sealer- was likely to be in. On my way, I passed the music and movies section. Since movies and electronics are the only thing of personal interest to me (with a single exception) in the entire store, I stopped to look. There were a few vinyl records. NO cd's. NO movies. Only books. I love books, but not THOSE books, and not when I'm looking for movies. Strike 2.

I finally found the section I was looking for(and it wasn't easy) but not the item. To be fair, a lot of stores carry items on their websites but not in stores these days and it was just as well because by that point I wasn't thrilled with Target anyway. But if I'd wanted to shop online I would have stayed home, not driven half an hour up the road. So strike 3.

On my way out, I stopped to see if I could find the one item I DO occasionally come into Target to buy, or at least I once did, because I could only ever find it at Target: Icebreakers duo in grape. This really isn't Target's fault, because I just now discovered that those aren't MADE any more. No one has them. Target couldn't have them in stock even if it wanted to. But this little detail did not mitigate my disappointment while ensuring that I found absolutely NOTHING I came in looking for or interested in. There was a huge lego tuxedo cat I found, which was cool... and I'll give Target that. If you have a mountain of money there are a few cool things to buy that you know you don't need... but it was way out of my price range as a non-essential item.

I ended up ordering said vacuum sealer from Wal Mart's website. It wasn't really any cheaper than it would have been on Target's website... but the important thing was that it didn't come from Target, if you get my meaning. I suppose I don't blame Target per se... The world is changing and all that. But they have nothing I want and no one to ring me up and I really don't want any of my money supporting that state. And, frankly, I haven't forgotten about the bathing suits for "trans kids," either, and I was none too happy about that even though that happened a while ago now, which is precisely WHY it was Target I checked last. Obviously I left without making a purchase. Take this as you will.

My husband and I ordered a Nintendo Switch for our son for Christmas. The total was $514.00. It was supposed to be delivered on October 31st. Instead, we received someone else's package. It has a totally different name and address on it and weighs less than half a pound. I called Target to get a refund or get a new switch mailed to us and they told us there was nothing they could do because it says "delivered." So now, we're just supposed to be "out" over $500. We are extremely upset about this. We have been Target customers for over 30 years, have a Target credit card that we use all the time and have never had any issues.

We are absolutely floored that after talking with multiple "supervisors" that we cannot get any help or a refund. We still have the other package, as well as a driveway video of the delivery driver dropping off one package that day, and it's not our package! Never going to Target again. Very, very disappointed that they would not help us, when this is clearly not our fault and we have overwhelming evidence!

Target has completely gone down the tube, they have a constant promotion that if you spend a certain amount you will earn target 360 for free for a year. So what they did was while making a purchase offer me a free 14-day trial of Target 360 that they then turned around and sent me an email stating I earned with that purchase a free year of Target 360 but it had to be claimed by a certain date they would not allow me to cancel my 14-day mind you to activate a full year that I earned and deserved! This is bad business to after the day passes I had to claim the free year by they then tell me because I did not I cannot. Does that make any sense? So definitely be careful if you're trying to honestly earn through their rewards program as it has become evident they'll do anything they can to get you to spend your money, screw you out of what you earned to tell you you have to spend even more money and start all over. I ordered 2 chairs from Target online for $140 each $298 total purchase. I paid $75 with a gift card and the rest on my debit card. After a dew days I check on the status of the order and it said they shipped one chair and the other was canceled. I contact customer service twice and they confirmed one chair was shipped and the other was cancelled because there was an issue with their inventory showing in stock. They never notified me of the cancellation otherwise I would have canceled the entire order, I'm looking for matching chairs, I don’t why it's so hard. I see the new receipt and it says they have now charge my debit card for one full chair $149 and kept my $75 gift card. Their solution was to find a me a similar item (mismatched chairs) or for me to refuse delivery or take the arm chair to a target store to get my money back.

Now I have to wait on the holds to be released from my bank account so I can have access to my funds, wait on the chairs to be delivered so I can refuse delivery, start the whole shopping deal again and be without chairs when I needed them for an event. Of course nothing was offered for the inconvenience so I ask what could they do for me as an upset customer, Luis and Erick senior escalation specialist in guest services said there is nothing else they can do but a $10 gift and that they typically don’t even offer that because to them they resolved the issues. And Erik also advised me to call FedEx to refuse delivery, so I did, and I can’t refuse the item because it doesn’t require a signature so I must call the sender and see if they could do anything about or I have to wait around and catch them when they deliver it. If you don’t want the hassle pick a different online store.

I’ve been going back and forth between Samsung and Target for weeks, and this has truly been a nightmare. I purchased a Samsung tablet through the Target app—it was under a 1-year warranty and I’ve had it for less than a year, with minimal use. Despite that, the device locked up and became completely unusable. When I contacted Target, they refused to assist and directed me to Samsung. Samsung then informed me that the tablet is an international model and because of that, they are refusing to honor the warranty—even if I were willing to pay for repairs.

This is unacceptable, especially since the product was sold to me in the U.S. via Target’s official app. No indication was given that it was an international version or that it would not be covered by warranty. After countless hours on the phone and multiple escalations, I’m left with a $400 paperweight. This experience has completely destroyed my trust in both Samsung and Target. Buyer beware: Always double-check what you’re being sold. Apparently, even major retailers like Target can sell you international models with zero U.S. warranty support. I will never buy another Samsung product again—and I’m seriously reconsidering shopping with Target, too.

I found out upon delivery that I received the extension cord no microwave. I looked on line and found that the microwave was cancelled from the order. I assumed that that particular microwave was not available. Now while purchasing a $54+ microwave I found out that that $49+ microwave is till available on the website.

    Questions:
    1. Why was the $7+ extension cord delivered since Target states plainly that orders under $35 are not subject to same day delivery?
    2. Why did the shopper not informed me that the $49+ was not available at all. If that is the case Target was able to replenish their stock overnight?

3 The shopper is not allowed to let me know that the ordered item is not available so I could tell her to purchase a similar microwave? It was only one item not many to replace. One text I did not get.

You can imagine why I am mad at myself for leaving the minimal tip. That delivery deserved 0 tip!

A corrupt company inside and out. As someone who has spent tens of thousands of dollars at Target to have been put through what I've been put through today, it cannot be allowed to continue. I purchased an item that ended up being defective, the store rep told me to contact phone support, phone support told me she could've helped and that she gave incorrect info. I went back to the store, the "manager" Elissa, who has absolutely not business being in any kind of power role told me she would rather be doing something else than helping me. HER EXACT WORDS.

I have 3 kids, I would rather be changing diapers than dealing with her smug attitude and ego. She then decided she would help me, but then "suddenly" had an issue. I told her the person from phone support told me if any issues to contact them, which she didn't want to do, but I stayed and she eventually dialed. She whispered stuff with them, which was grossly unprofessional because you don't whisper if you're trying to do what's right. Eventually, after whispering and conspiring I was told she wasn't going to do anything, even though she told me she would.

I've been bullied by this company, been sent on wild goose chases, disrespected, told varying things, and not one person had the integrity to carry through with it. It's a very simple solution, it's a very easy task to make right, they decided to spit on me and treat me like garbage and intentionally try to bait me into something. I simply cannot believe how disgusting this company has become. Elissa should be unemployed, not exerting a power trip over people who keep the lights on. This needs to be made right asap, it's super simple, but the company instead would rather treat a loyalist like absolute trash.

I had $2 off coupons X 3 and those are to use one each per purchase. I was going to get one transaction each for two cans of coffee so I put a coupon each on top of each cans. The cashier instead rang two at the same time and told me that I can't use the second coupon. I explained I want two transaction and use two coupons. She cussed "Jesus Christ" with small voice. I asked her "Is there a problem?" then she got quiet and made two transactions. If I were a ** and older lady like her, she wouldn't say that I believe. She has no idea that hurt me so badly. She thanked me at the end. She tried to be nice I guess. But I was upset already, my body was shaking by anger. I told my husband what happened and he said she could be fired cussing like that. The rate could be worse than one star.

07/16/25. After spending over an hour shopping for 15+ items, I left the store without buying a thing. One manned cash register was open. I got in line behind a person with a buggy that was literally overflowing with many non-grocery items, such as socks, plastic dishes, clothes, etc. She was trying to count items and review sizes of what was in her buggy as we waited on the person who was checking out. I’m not sure if she was adding up prices or not. Realizing that it could be a very long wait, I moved my buggy and went to self checkout, which was not full. The 8-10 kiosks all had a sign ‘Express checkout 1-10 items only’. Hmmm. I went back to the manned register behind the person with the full buggy, who had started the checkout process. Two smiling employees came up to the cashier and told her they were there to relieve her.

One began introducing the other to the cashier. None of the 3 acknowledged me, smiled at me, apologized for my wait, offered to go with me to self checkout to assist, referred me to customer service for another checkout option, came and looked in my buggy, etc. At this point, I came to the conclusion that Target only wants customers who buy 10 or less items and are good candidates for their many express self checkout registers. I pushed my buggy to the side and left. I stopped and talked to one employee on the way out and told him the situation. He agreed that all available self checkouts were for 10 items or less and that I had no other option but that one register. He also did not offer another solution or apologize.

I usually do not mind waiting when the store is full and all employees and stations are busy. This was not the case. It was clear to me that I was not their preferred shopper yesterday. Target management needs to address customer needs with their checkout. As I drove off (3:13 pm on Wednesday), I called the corporate customer service number and spoke with Mark. He listened carefully. Thank you, Mark!

I received this guitar for my Granddaughter. Upon opening had scratches and the guitar bag had a broken zipper. So disappointing! It came from a partner/reseller of Target which is not clear with online orders. No help from customer support. I am reluctant to order online from Target since is not actually target I'm buying from.

NEVER GO TO THE SOUTHFIELD TARGET LOCATION!!! I was sold already opened, broken, incorrect merchandise with missing pieces and was not offered an opportunity to exchange or refund the broken merchandise. An employee in tech clearly substituted it because the tech was "locked" on the shelf. Today I bought an Xbox controller (white Xbox elite 2 controller) from Target Southfield, when I got home I noticed the tape on the box had already been ripped open, the controller was not even the correct color advertised on the box (it was black), it was also slightly damaged and had clearly already been used before - in addition it was missing the charging cable which was clearly stated on the box was included with the item. I went back to exchange the item expecting a full refund but the employees and manager said it was against policy, basically accused me of exchanging the merchandise with broken merchandise??

I got so frustrated I ended up having to buy a second white elite 2 controller without any refund for the tampered merchandise. I'm so livid I submitted an incident report with Target guest services. I'm convinced one of the employees in the tech sectioned opened the box and substituted the merchandise before putting it back on the shelf (as the controllers are "locked" on the shelf... and only a few employees have keys). I spoke with manager who didn't want to hear it and basically blamed me and said "there's nothing he can do." I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN.

I bought a $50 3-shelf furniture, small item, small box but it missed the hardware to put get assembled. I called the # in the brochure guide and explained to me that l could get my receipt to the store and easily will get the hardware only, Good and which I did it. First at all, the guy in the counter did not know what was a hardware and secondly, he sent me to get another box. After that, he wasn't at the area anymore and the next person told me that the only way is to put everything back in the box and bring it to them to get an exchange. 60 years old and put everything back, it was my fault. I got angry and dumped out. Happened in Target at Willowbrook Houston, Texas.

I bought a “5 Surprise Make a Racer Vehicle” online from Target.com. They charged to my Visa. I didn’t receive the toys so I cancelled the order. Still, I didn’t get the refund so I called the customer service to request the refund and was told I have to call Visa to get my refund and they even refused to resend the email which they said was sent to me for the refund confirmation. So to summarize my story “I was robbed by Target”. If you don’t want to get robbed by Target, don’t buy anything from them. I wish there were a zero-star rating for Target.
