The cashier neglected to tell me the information I gave him was for a credit card. After I tried to pay for my purchase he said it was too late. It was already on a credit card. Well I moved out of state. My mail did not get to me and it totally slipped my mind till today. I see I was sent to collections. Never got the card. Tried to get a person on the phone. Good luck. If you swear you will get a person from sounds like Synchrony something Bank. The person is from India. Hard to understand him. After I paid my one purchase with an extra $30.00 charge. Told him to close the account twice. He tried to convince me to keep it open. Then I see there is a change to my credit score. Thanks Old Navy. I never wanted this card. I was lied to by one of your employees. Never again. Too smart for you now.

The Woodstock GA Old Navy has disgusting dressing rooms. I have been there to try on clothes first thing in the morning and the dressing rooms were filthy with smears all over the mirrors and gum, etc on the benches, but today...well It tops all! After trying on clothes I looked down and noticed blood all over the bench! You could see where someone has obviously had a menstrual leak everywhere and it had dried all over the bench. Sooo disgusting! My clothes had been on top of it and when I told the manager she hardly apologized.

Since we moved to Toronto about two years ago, my daughters and I have bought our jeans at Old Navy. I like this store because it offers trendy clothes at great prices for the whole family. My last purchase was two months ago. I bought two wonderful Curvy Skinny jeans, size 8, at the Eaton Center store. They are comfortable, sturdy and very versatile, as I can use them in casual moments in everyday life, such as at work, at school and even for hangout with family, friends or dinner with my husband. The color does not change after a few washes. Their fit on the body is perfect (I'm Brazilian, so it's hard to find pants that look good). The problem for me is that the pants are too tight at the hem. It is very difficult for the feet to pass. I suggest that you make them a little wider or maybe put a 10 cm zippers down the side. I am well pleased.

I went to the Old Navy store in my town on 10/19/19. My granddaughter had stayed with me and we were going to a Birthday party. She had put summery clothing in her overnight bag and it was cold and raining. We found jeggings with a big sign indicating the Jeans were $10. I got pants and found a shirt indicating the price would be $7. So we got shoes $34 with 30% off. Standing in line I picked up a pack of no show socks. $9. When I was next in line a man asked if I was paying with a card. I said yes, so I was asked to come to end. He rung my items up and it was $45. There was a sign up stating ask about 40% off if you use your old navy card. The guy asked the customer service representative next to him for a code and he entered it. The price didn't change so I just paid. The looking at the receipt, I noticed that I was paying $11.99 for the Jeans after the discount.
I asked him and he got angry. He had me take him to where I got the pants. When he saw the sigh he asked for my receipt. Looking at the receipt he said that the $11.99 was the price including tax. So I replied if that price included tax why was tax added at the end of the receipt. He took the receipt and went back up front. He walked very fast and spoke to me in a very rude tone. He did a transaction and the said "Here's your receipt, I credit your card $2". Didn't explain anything else. I was just stunned, why was he so rude? Finally I asked for the manager. He said "I am the manager and you got your credit". He proceeded to take another customer while I was still standing there, so I just walked out. But, apparently he didn't take a security take off so I had to go back. He completely ignored me until the representative next to him told him I had a security tag on something.
He took the bag and got the think off the shoes and hand me the bag. He never said a word. I was angry and really couldn't understand why I was treated so badly. I simply left the store with my granddaughter and called customer service. I told them what happened and she said they don't usually do that and she was sorry I had that problem. She then said I should go back to the store and speak with the manager. I had just told her he was the manager. So I repeated that statement and she asked me why I was treated that way. I said I really don't know, and the I said "Well I was the only ** person in the store". "So you think it was discrimination, hold on let me get my supervisor".
I don't use race as an issue but she wanted me to tell her why I was treated that way. The supervisor wanted me to tell her everything that happened from the time I walked in the door until check out. I was a little bit surprised but I did. Then she said I would receive a call within 3 business days. Apparently if you get poor service from that store no one cares unless it is a civil rights issue. I simply wanted to voice my dissatisfaction and get a sincere apology. Maybe have some one help me understand why a manager would be so very rude for absolutely no reason at all. My day was going great and I was having a great day with my granddaughter.

I really enjoy shopping at Old Navy. Great prices and associates. I shop at the Viera, Fl location. My biggest complaint is the dressing room size. I have an infant and due to her stroller I always need to use the handicapped dressing room to accommodate my daughter and I. There is only one available, the wait is long with all the moms shopping with strollers and only being able to use 1 dressing room.

I have been shopping at Old Navy for over 25 years. I have a credit card with their company and have for years. I have done most of my clothing shopping for my five kids, and now their spouses. Well I went in August to buy matching clothes for my whole family (9 people) for family pictures. I spent over $700 that day. I went in last week to return 2 pair of jeans and 4 blouses that didn't work, and all of them were unworn with tags still on them. I had my original receipt.
The lady at the register told me since it had been over 45 days, she had to give me the sale price. I told her that was fine, and asked why it wasn't 90 days like it was in the past, but that I understood the policy. Then she said she could only give me in store credit, and again I said it was fine, even though I would have preferred credit back to my Old Navy card. Then she rang it all up, and it came to just over a hundred dollars. She put the clothes behind her and then turned to give me my receipt and she said, "Oh I'm sorry, your return has been rejected." I asked her why and she said I would have to call the company on the receipt and there was nothing she could do. So I had her gather the clothes up and I left.
I had other errands to run and so I called while I was driving around. I was on hold with that company for 47 minutes. When the man finally answered, he asked for the transaction ID number. I gave it to him 4 times and he said there wasn't anything under that number. So he asked for my license, and he said the same thing. He said I had to go to the customer service counter at Old Navy itself to resolve it.
At that point I couldn't get back to Old Navy before it closed so I went again tonight. I explained to the girl at the register what had happened and asked if there was anything I could do to return the clothes. She said, "We can just return them as if you didn't have your receipt." Odd, because I did, but I said that was fine, please just return them. So she rung them all up and asked for my license. So I said, "Is my license going to be attached to the last time I tried to return them?" And she said No. But sure enough, it was, so my return was rejected again. She called her manager and he said there isn't anything he can do, apparently my license has locked me from being able to return anything at Old Navy because I keep trying without my receipt.
I am livid. I have never returned anything there without a receipt, AND they can look it up on my credit card statement. So now I have a bag full of clothes that don't fit, and Old Navy employees and managers that said it's out of their hands. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE in the world! Those clothes are still hanging in their store, they are from less than 2 months ago, not 2 years ago. To top it off, I went tonight to return a pair of jeans to American Eagle that I also bought on picture day and they happily gave me my money back. And then to JCPenney to return two shirts from the same day, and they happily returned those as well. If I could give Old Navy zero stars, I would. I am SO disappointed by the way I was treated in both stores and I'll do everything in my power to convince everyone I know to never set foot in another Old Navy again.

I ordered clothes from oldnavy.com and I was very excited for my order to arrive. It arrived earlier than expected which was wonderful. However, two of the items that I ordered were the wrong size! I ordered large and they sent extra large. I called customer service and they informed me that because they were out of the size I ordered they must have thrown in whatever they had on hand!? Seriously?! So in order to get my money back I have to go through the hassle of sending these items back. Why do you think I shop online? I don’t have time for an extra trip to the ups store! It’s so frustrating and I will NEVER shop Old Navy again! You lost a long time customer...

I am very disappointed. This is the second time I ordered online and my order has been lost. When I call customer services they can resend me the order but again second time they do not have everything in stock. I also had ordered this to be here in time for the weekend for birthday gifts and now will not have them. This is now two times that I have ordered and have not gotten everything I have ordered because it was lost and they ran out of it. Then I was told this must be a UPS problem with delivering to your house. NO... I order from Amazon at least every other week and never have an issue with them. I have also never had an issue with Walmart or Target however the last two times with Old Navy I have had the same issue.
Then to be told, "The most I can do for you is to give you 20% off your next order" is like a slap in the face. You're telling me I have to spend more money to even get a discount for my inconvenience for a second time not even the first time my order is lost. When it happened the first time I was understanding. Now that it has happened again, and now I again do not get everything I ordered in the first place is very upsetting. With that being said it looks like I may need to order a dress from Target to make sure it makes it here on time for my daughter's school pictures because those items seem to be able to find my house no problem.

I will NEVER EVER order from Old Navy ever again, especially online. So I ordered some kids clothes online, two of the items I had to exchange for a bigger size. So I went to an Old Navy store just to exchange the two items in a different size. I wasn’t going in there changing it for something else. It was the same items, just a different size. The cashier took my items then told me I had to pay at that moment $17.90 for those items. I said, "Why do I have to pay when I’m just coming to change it to the correct size??? You guys already charged my card." She said that they are going to refund me the money to my card in 10 business days but I had to pay for the stuff now. I was so aggravated because why do I have to pay again just to change a damn size??? I will never shop here again. My experience was horrible. They made just going in to change a size so difficult. I just know I better have my money back in my card soon.

I ordered online and selected the wrong shipping address. I called Old Navy 2 minutes later to notify them of this error. I was told there was nothing that could be done even though the order hadn't shipped yet. I was also told to try to change address online. This didn't work. I called back and just cancelled the order the same day. The next day, I received an email stating that my order had shipped to the wrong address anyway. I called back and was told I would need to contact UPS. UPS couldn't do anything because I wasn't the shipper. I called Old Navy back and they said since the order already shipped they could do nothing. They also stated that I would have to wait until the order status was delivered and then call back and reorder. The same thing had happened to me twice before, and they were able to fix the situation by phone. Customer service has gotten lazy! What a nuisance!

I’ve had my Old Navy CC for about 2 years now. Here recently, I haven’t been using it & just paying the monthly payment. Well, I paid off the balance a few days ago, in full, but rather than showing my “available to spend” amount as the original amount, it’s showing a negative amount. I only use my Old Navy CC for the occasional shopping trip to Old Navy, and gas if needed. But now I’m highly considering closing my account.

The Puyallup WA location used to be one of my favorite Old Navy stores to shop at. Not after tonight. The cashier rang up an item I wanted to buy and then proceeded to mark it UP! The item had the correct tag on it. The item rang up at $.01, which happens pretty frequently at Old Navy. She then told me she had to change the price and mark it up to a higher price, because she claimed the $.01 was only due to a glitch in their POS system - yet only that one item rung up at that price. I am a frequent ON shopper and have had items ring up at $0.01 several times. EVERY time this has happened in the past, the employee said “Wow! You get to buy this for $0.01!”
When I explained that $0.01 seem to be frequent and that I’d been able to purchase items for that price before, she told me, “That's not my concern.” When I asked why (if this is company policy, as she stated) other employees aren't doing it for all purchases. She and the manager had no answer. When I tried to share with the employee and Manager that the store inconsistencies and marking up prices practice sets customers up for a negative experience in their store, they both replied with rudeness and unprofessionalism. I'm very disappointed in how I was treated and how the situation was handled overall. It's sad that customer service is dead.

I placed an order on 8/11/19. Received email confirmation which for some reason states in read "this is not a receipt". The email does not provide a shipping date. On 8/13/19 I check on the status and it has not shipped and is not expected to arrive until 8/20/19. That's too late for me. I call to cancel. Static and heavy metal music on hold. Could barely hear the rep who could have used an energy drink. I can't cancel the order because "it's in process". They could send a cancel request but can't guarantee cancellation. Old Navy has LOTS of online competition from Amazon, Zappos and Target with their quick shipping & processing.

I’ve been an online and in store customer of Old Navy for 12 years. Ever since my first daughter was born. Over the past year, I’ve received multiple packages with missing items. I have 3 children now and the majority of the clothes they wear are Old Navy. I’ve always been treated respectfully when calling to let them know there’s been a screw up. It’s never been anything huge - a missing packages of socks or a hole in a sweater once. Until this last order totaling $200 in clothes for my youngest. There were 8 items missing out of 17!
When I called to explain, they opened up a case file to look into the issue further because this has happened before! So now, we wait. In the meantime, I stew and try to figure out ways I can prove the issue is with their shipping department and NOT ME. Don’t they weigh their packages before shipping? They could easily compare weights of what my package was VS. What it should’ve been with the proper amount of items. SADLY, I don’t think my family or I will be shopping, at least online from Old Navy again.

Each time I go to Old Navy to pick up an order I regret it. I say I won't go back. Ha! Generally they have 1 or 2 cashiers on with sometimes 10 customers in line waiting. This is inexcusable for a business to expect customers wait this long. There are always a few other employees on the floor doing other things. Why isn't at least one of them at the register until the line goes down? I don't get it.

So she did the second time, after she input my driver license information, the return got declined. So I called the phone number (1-855-828-9670) they gave me, the representative was very rude and unprofessional, the only thing he said was "You can not return them without a receipt." and I was asking for the supervisor, he told me the supervisor was not available. Here is Old Navy's return policy "You can return gifts without a gift receipt to stores. You will receive a merchandise certificate in the amount of the current selling price of the item(s) returned. Then few months after Experian sent me a notice telling me my credit went down about 50 points for not paying Old Navy. I called Old Navy credit card department and they told me that my side of the story was not true because they cashiers cannot accept cash payments. That the computer doesn't give them the option. I went to Old Navy on Saturday April 6. The clerk rang up my merchandise and then I gave him a coupon that I received via email. The coupon gave me the discount and a total came up. I ran my debit card and the machine said approved. Then the clerk said there was something wrong with the coupon and I needed to have an Old Navy credit card for the coupon. When I showed them that that was not a qualification on the coupon, they realized the clerk rang in the wrong code. So then they proceed to tell me that I need to run my card again. I asked why when the machine said transaction approved. They told me that the transaction wasn't completed and that it didn't go through because of the coupon error.
I pulled out my phone and look up my account and sure enough the money was already deducted from my account. They told me no it wasn't even though I showed them that there was a charge for $269.18... the exact amount that they wanted me to re-run my card for. They told me that if I wanted the merchandise I would have to run my card again. There was no way I was going to run my card again so that they could deduct another $269 from my account. So they called the manager who called customer relations and they claimed there was no such monies taken from my account and that if I wanted the merchandise I would have to run my card again. I refused. I told them I didn't want the clothes anymore and that I wanted my money back. They told me no and gave me a case number for the issue and that I would be contacted.
I called my bank and they told me that indeed they deducted the funds and that they were responsible for reversing the funds because I used a debit card instead of a credit card. I was told by the bank that the funds would finish being withdrawn by Tuesday and that if they continued with the withdrawal I could file fraud charges. I went back in to get the manager's name and realized that she never bothered to take my name or phone number and she still wouldn't take my name.
I called Old Navy to try to resolve it. The first person I talked to disconnected me. I called back and got someone else, but I was told that even though I was talking to customer complaints I would have to wait until Monday to talk to customer relations. I told her that, "I bet you don't have my name and phone number so how was it suppose to be resolved." She sat there silent. I said, "I see you aren't interested in taking my info either." She finally took my info and I told them that I wanted to hear from them first thing tomorrow. I am sitting here without my money, without my merchandise and a nightmare of a time trying to resolve this crap. I will never shop there again.

I used to be a big Old Navy customer, and enjoyed using their credit card and building up points to earn "rewards". This went along fine for awhile, though using the rewards varied greatly by store/employee. You were limited how many reward coupons you could use (some of mine were $5). Ok, fine - not a big deal. Then one time I needed to return an item I had purchased using rewards - good luck! I could not exchange, rather, had to go online, fill out some essay style form. Not worth my time - donated the unwanted item to charity.
For the price point of the clothing, the quality used to be okay, though has cheapened over time. Admittedly, I have not been in one of their stores in a year or so, just checked to see what the limit was on my card (hadn't used in a while). Was closed. No notice or alert of any kind. So much for a loyal customer that always paid on time. Right back at ya, Old Navy. My recommendation to anyone reading - use another credit card and earn cash back or simply pay cash when shopping. Their crazy high-interest credit card is not worth the hassle!

Old Navy is by far my favorite place to buy clothes and shoes. I order at least bi-monthly online and stop in the store a few times a month and always make a purchase. Lately the quality of the products have been terrible. I ordered a cute blouse for the spring and it came in the mail extremely wrinkled and had a hole in the sleeve. On a separate purchase I ordered a pair of pink flats. The flats came with one shoe being a 8 and the other a 6 (My size is a 8). Overall the quality of their clothes is becoming disappointing. The clothes falls apart after a few washes. Old Navy used to be so much better!!! Another problem I have with Old Navy is the horrible customer service online and at the store.
I called to ask for a refund or exchange for the shirt with a hole in it and the 2 different sized shoes. Both employees I spoke to were extremely rude. I received a new blouse at no additional cost, but the shoe problem was never corrected. The man insisted that I could not possibly have 2 different sizes shoes. I returned them at my local store and received a credit. The employees at my store in South Louisiana are absolutely horrible. Do not sign up for this credit card! I take extreme pride in my credit score. My scores are in the high 800's. When you sign up, it is a hard inquiry. Not even a light inquiry. I made a small purchase in December with the Old Navy card. I rarely use this card, (that has a 10,000 limit). I never received a statement. When I finally did. My 35.00 purchase, was now over 100.00. They had charged me late fees. Dinked my credit score 66 points!!! Who does that? No emails, no call. Nothing. Only a statement 2 months later, showing the apparent late fees from the missed payments.
I immediately paid the 100.00. Called to cancel the card. I explained to customer service, no statement had been sent. I have never had a late payment, on any credit card. Obviously, I have outstanding credit to be issued 10,000 limit, on a Old Navy card. I explained, "I want this corrected with TransUnion." Was told it will take 30 days. I just placed an order from their APP, after placing the order I realized I selected the incorrect shipping and billing information. First, I couldn't find the order info on their order tab on the app (This hasn't worked on previous orders either) and there was obviously no order cancelation option. I called customer service and the girl who answered sounded like I had just disturbed her and woken her from a nap. I asked her to please cancel my order as I no longer live at that delivery address and that the wrong card was billed.
She said that they don't have a order cancelation option, but that she would submit a request and hopefully the order center will see the request before sending off the items, but that there's a possibility that I will be billed and the items will be shipped out and I'd have to wait till it was returned from the incorrect address to have my money refunded. This is the trashiest process on the planet. Most clothing distributors have a cancelation option immediately after placing the order. This is such an inconvenience and makes me not want to take a risk and order from them or their faulty app again!!!

I made an online order at Old Navy on 11/15/18 expecting delivery on 12/17/18. On the day of the delivery I get an email around 1pm stating I would not get my clothing because my address was undeliverable. I call customer service to go over the information. The agent tells me my address is correct but he does not know why I didn't get my order. He had no information for me and did not have any of the clothing left that I ordered. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN.

I went to the store today to return two $7 PJs. You would have thought I was asking to return the Hope Diamond. I had my receipt in hand for one item and the other item they had ordered from in the store. Had the email confirming order and delivery of it. The pathetic clerk kept telling me that the items were not on my receipt. I could clearly see 5 pairs of PJ pants and 3 tops (the other two had to be ordered). The girl insisted that I had purchased 3 pair of medium pants even though I had not. I wanted to exchange, but they no longer had the items, so she wanted to give me store credit, which I didn’t want because I do not regularly shop there.
As the line steadily built behind me, she still refused to return my items for a refund. I was reminded why I quit shopping there many years ago. I left, livid that this was such a headache. I had to call their 800 number and then go to a different store since I refused to drive back over there to get a refund. Needless to say, I will not be going back after this experience.

The shipment that contains 12 of the 20 items never made it to my house but when tracked it shows “delivered to front door” (lies). Customer service said things get misscanned all the time & I needed to wait until the promised ship date to call back for a refund. They were very rude & not helpful at all. I can’t believe a big company like Old Navy would have sure terrible customer service in 2018. I will never make an online order with Old Navy again.

I ordered 19 items from Old Navy as Christmas presents for my kids. They canceled 16 of the items because they were sold out! Because of their poor inventory system, I missed out on other deals from other stores. One of the items ordered was a Christmas dress for my daughter and now I’ll have to pay full price for one. I am extremely disappointed with the Old Navy brand. I still cannot believe they canceled so many items! Now I have to try and find all new items for the same budget and most of the good sales are over.

I have placed FOUR orders for the above jeans. The first pair I received had defective flaws in the material. I called up and was sent a second pair. Same SKU number, same size. The second pair arrived and was the same as the first pair. Defective lines all through the jeans. I again called Customer service and was told that they would launch an investigation to look into this problem I am having and would let me know when it was done so that I could again order these jeans. Keep in mind each time I received defective items I again had to return to the store and return these for a Credit on my Visa. I receive an email telling me that the investigation is completed and I again order the jeans (I really want these jeans). Again nobody from Customer service requesting a picture of the defects in the jeans.
I am sent out a third pair of jeans. I received the third pair of jeans and again same problem. Defective material and lines all through the jeans front/back/inseam/pockets. I again call your Customer service and speak now to a fifth person and tell them they need to contact your warehouse that these jeans are shipping from and have someone physically go out and look at all the product of this size and SKU number, and see the problem I have described (again doesn’t ask for a picture of defective jeans). They say that this will be done and they will again let me know when I can re-order these jeans. Well I am notified again that I can re-order the jeans for the fourth time and that the problem has been fixed and that the wrong jeans were sent out the last three times.
I receive the fourth pair of jeans on Nov. 14th and again the same problem!!! What is wrong with your warehouse staff that they cannot do their job and investigate this batch of defective jeans but can still send me out again another pair with the same problems. I again for the fourth time have to return these to the store at my expense and inconvenience. I am very disappointed with this and again have to return to the store to get my Credit. I think you were sold a batch of jeans with defective material on all of them. I don’t know what is so hard about having someone actually physically checking this SKU number. I think that you need to be more diligent in what you are sending out to your Customers, especially for the fourth time around. These are definitely not what your website reflects these jeans to be. Unfortunately I cannot buy these petite size jeans in the store, another thing you might want to change to stock petite sizes in your stores.

Old Navy has the worst customer service when it comes to their online orders. First of all, if you are placing an order for pick up in store, they will only apply it to items you individually select for store pick up. Secondly, the hold to get a customer service rep was over 15 mins. After patiently waiting to speak to someone, they weren't helpful at ALL! Very frustrating OLD NAVY! Listen, I love Old Navy, they have great deals. But they have to do something about the way the handle online orders. First off, the shipping method is beyond ridiculous. I ordered about 20 items for my daughter, and after having to call to verify my address and credit card info (2 times in 1 week) I finally get the order through, and ON sends my order in like 50000 different shipments. 2 shirts here, 1 pant there, 4 sweaters here, all with different delivery dates. Seriously? You can send everything in 1-2 shipments? ** stupid!
Also, they have introduced a order online, pick up at store system, which sounds great, but they are too busy flagging everyone's card for fraud, and store team is halfway aware of online orders, that it makes the whole thing pointless. I'm guessing this applies to GAP and Banana as well, since they are owned by same idiots. Please fix, get it together with the shipping and let folks combine bonus cash with promo codes. Completely worthless if you can't even do that.

The next day, I was sent the same generic email they send to everyone that asked a shipping related question, telling me to be patient, they have no control over anything, and that I would receive my order by the expected delivery date. The following day, I received an email stating it could take up to 30 days to get my items. I ordered clothes on August 24th from Old Navy, All items showed in stock at time of purchase. When placing order standard shipping was free due to price of my order, and showed items would be shipped within in 5-8 business days. Payment by company processed in full at time of purchase which is standard. As of September 5th I have yet to receive my items, and have called Old Navy's customer service department now 3x’s because a few items have yet to be shipped. All items were promised by 9/5 which is also past the 5-8 day advertised on the company's website.
I understand and expect delays, but their company website doesn't not update you with status changes nor can you get much information when speaking to a customer service associate. Old Navy CSR told that the items that still on a truck in one of the company's warehouses, but there hadn‘t been a status update beyond that, and that the company is behind with back to school orders. When I asked if maybe my paperwork got lost in the shuffle the rep told me it was possible that he didn't know. I advised that I received a generic email from Old Navy that my product should be to me within 30 days, but that's it. The customer service rep told me that they couldn’t help me until after the guaranteed ship date of 9/5.
After 9/5 I could call in and cancel my order, or he could resubmit my order and request expedited shipping. I expressed I understood delays, but this was getting a little ridiculous. He then proceeded to offer me a 20% discount off my next order. I advised there was no need because I will not be ordering from this company again when I can‘t seem to even get my first order. Once a company has my money I expect my product to be shipped in a timely manner or to get my money back. I don't have a problem waiting 2 weeks for my order to be delivered, however to not be communicated with as a consumer who has ordered your product based on a timeline your company advised, and then get the run around is ridiculous. Old Navy has been by far my worst online shopping experience and I have bought many items online.

The next day I get an e-mail saying it was cancelled with no explanation. I called and was on the phone with them for over 30 minutes. They said it was a problem with my credit card. Which I have had for 20 years and used with them each time. Finally they removed the block from my card and placed the order again. The same thing happened this week. When I called Old Navy, I told them that this has stop. It's becoming a huge inconvenience. And I needed this order before I left on a trip.
They apologized and said they would overnight the order at no charge. Four days later, no order. That was yesterday (Thursday), and I leave for my trip today. I called them again last night, they said the order had gone out that morning from NYC and I would have it today. I asked the Rep why it went it 3 days after the first Rep said it was going to be shipped. And she made up some excuse that overnight deliveries still take a few days. I informed this Rep too that I was leaving for my trip at 1:00 PM on Friday, so it better get here before then.
Well, today, Friday, I get an e-mail from Old Navy that the order was just shipped and I'll be receiving it on Monday (8/27). So, did the Rep lie to me on the phone last night? Since I got tired of the amount of email I was having to remove from my inbox, I opted out of their email communications. That should've been the end of it.
Since March 24th, they have emailed me every single day and often multiple times per day. They have ignored my unsubscribe requests and their customer service ignores any complaints about spam or requests to have an email address removed from their database. I was immediately told that due to the fact that these items were passed 45 days, I was receiving 1/2 the value. The next jaw stopping comment was they would mail me the money in a check, excluding the tax that was paid. I said, “I would like to speak to a manager.” I told the manager I wanted a store credit so I could get my niece something comparable, and I wanted the full value on the receipt. She said, "No!"
I told her I would be contacting the regional office for their complete disregard for customer service. I told them, “So instead of a merchandise credit? Of 58.79. Most people don't want to make others feel bad and I just took them back to the store and no huge surprise the size needed they did not have. (This is MY experience @ the Vineland, NJ Old Navy) I walk in look for the size that they do not have and the guy at the counter is having a hard time checking out the customer. I explained to the young man this was a gift and I did not have the receipt. He never asked for ID. He asked for my name and address never saying why? It felt very strange to me so I did not give him the correct address. He then said my refund would be in the mail at the address I provided. Really?? The Manager had to be called and I again questioned why this was happening. Never has this happened to me before with returns... A lot of hassle to return a gift... They had to redo the translation all over again. Now there are quite a bit of people waiting in line. She asks me for my name and address. I do not trust people so I chose to write down my name and address and asked for her to return the paper never asking me for an ID. She explained to me this was how a return was done without a receipt. Really. Where and when? I've returned things before and was always asked for ID and a reason why.

And of course, I didn't realize they changed their policy for returning from 90 days before to 45 days. When I came to store to return, the cashier told me I can't return because it past 45 days. It is OK, I understand. I asked for credit store or exchange. And the price they return to me is ridiculous. For example, I bought a jeans $19.99, they offer to return me 7.49. And if I want to exchange with exact model but different size, I need to pay $26.99 - $7.49 (which they return from my original 19.99 jean). I still need to pay the difference. This is totally riff off.
I understand that because it's past 45 days so I can't get the refund but they should return to me what I paid in credit store. Anyway I will use the credit store to buy their products again. But they didn't do that. They just find ways to take our money. The cashier kept telling me that my jeans is an old model which is 2016. But I bought it in September 2017. How can they sell me the old product from 2016 in 2017, and in December 2017 they told me these are old style while in the store, the same product they sell it for full price? This is totally rip off. It is same thing with my jacket which I paid for 14.99 and now they offer to return for $2.49. I never had that kind of experience with the store like with Old Navy. Never shop here again.

When trying to pay with $100 bill she quickly/loudly says she cannot accept the bill as she doesn’t have change! I ask if she’d rather lose a sale if I could not come up with lower bills to pay & she shrugs me off with a yes!! I could not purchase the blouse because the cashier could not change the bill!! I have never been to a retail store that has refused to serve a customer. She lost the sale & Old Navy lost a loyal customer. Do not shop in the Hickory NC store if you have cash money.

I brought two pairs of pants back to the store with my receipt showing I paid $18.74 for each. The pants didnt not fit my boys. I was willing to exchange them for a bigger size but they did not have them either. I came to the counter with four different pairs of pants and a pair of socks. Because my original purchase was just over 45 days, the manager was only willing to credit me the current sales price of the pants that didnt fit, $15.00. Furious, I decided to not purchase more from Old Navy and just asked for the store credit.
I was going to turn to the customer next to me and give that credit away as I will not support Old Navy any longer. Just then the cashier hands me a receipt that states I will receive my store certificate in the mail in the next 10 business days. I contacted customer service, she was wonderful completely understood and also thought that this was ridiculous, although she had no power to help she was transferring me to customer relations. I then speak with Alfonso from customer relations who stuck to policy 100% and would not credit me the funds that I had spent at Old Navy. This will go further.

I have long been shopping at Old Navy and even opened an Old Navy credit card. I do have an issue with their shipping policies, though. I have several times placed orders and never received a shipping notification. I recently placed two Orders, one on November 25th, and one on December 4th. I haven't received a shipping notice for either order, but my concern was the order placed on the 25th. When I called the customer service line, after 20 minutes of being on hold the associate told me it would be here by the middle of next week. I asked if that was normal, because it has been more than 10 business days since I placed my order and I selected 5-7 day shipping.
She told me I did not pay for shipping (which is free with a larger purchase so why bring that up?) and at the time of purchasing there was an extended delivery estimate in the shipping window. I did expect delays for Black Friday, but my concern was a lack of a tracking number. She assured me it would be here by next week and didn't tell me when to expect a tracking number. Today I filled up a cart and took a look at the shipping option window, I often choose free shipping because I'm already spending at minimum $50. It reads "5-7 business days, arrives by 12/23". (See image.) Today is the 7th of December, seven business days from now is the 16th of December. I understand processing time, and think that the excess of a few days is acceptable considering holidays.
I find the 'fine print' strategy used when choosing shipping options to be shady, as it appears to contradict itself with no explanation. Other retailers add in a blurb about processing time, or holidays. Old Navy does not. I am away at work most days and shop online frequently, tracking numbers are immensely useful to me because I know to let someone at home know to expect mail or packages. Without a tracking number I have no way of knowing when the package will arrive, only the 'promise' that it will arrive by the middle of next week.

I purchased several items on the Old Navy Website. The ease of navigating the site and getting to checkout was great until I went to check out my cart. Apparently I'd had an account before from years ago, so I had to change the password so I could log in. Once I did, I updated my address and personal info BEFORE even submitting the order. I received an email the next day saying my order had shipped. I then receive another email 2 days after the original one saying the order was on its way. That is when I discovered the address was incorrect. The items had been shipped to my old address. After calling customer service, they told me there was nothing they could do about it and that I should try calling up UPS to have the shipment changed.
I called UPS AND the US Postal Service (because my shipment was being delivered to a certain point and then being turned over to the Postal Service for completion). Both told me that the shipper (Old Navy aka Gap Direct) had made it so that if the package was deemed undeliverable it should be returned to sender. For 3 days I tried to get it delivered to the correct address, both UPS and the Postal Service told me that the shipper could call them and have the package redirected. I called Old Navy to inform them of this and they told me they couldn't do it and I would have to wait for the package to be returned to them and then they could overnight it back to me.
Today the package was returned to them. I call back again and they say I have to wait a couple more days for it to be shipped back out because the package goes back to the warehouse and they have to open it and blah blah blah, so it will essentially be another week at the very least, before I receive my items. I don't shop at Old Navy for myself because their clothing is ill fitting on me. I ordered clothes for my son and chose just the standard shipping which is supposed to be 5-7 business days. I didn't need the clothes for him for another 10 days so I felt that 5-7 days would be fine. I ordered my items at 9 am and the money was taken out of my account immediately but my items did not ship until 4 business days later. After it shipped it took another 7 business days for me to receive my items which was a total of 11 business days and I did not receive my items on time. If you are going to hold the items that long at least send it through a method that is going to ensure that I get my items in 5-7 business days like I expected.

Placed an order online and they immediately charged my account. Two days later when the order was shipped they charged me again! Now they are telling me it takes 3-5 business days for the first charge to disappear. The reason for two charges is they make sure the funds are available and then charge when it ships! What kind of company does that!? I shop many online stores and have never ever had this experience!!!

I order short every year for school for my son. This time I paid 22 dollars for next day. Ups say they tried to deliver to my home at 9:15 pm and no one was home. Lies. As a matter of fact I was home all day. I have a doorbell. No one EVER rang the door bell nor did they knock. Ups always leave a slip on the door telling you they tried to leave package but were unsuccessful and will return the next day and the time they will return. Absolutely nothing left in the door. I called Old Navy and spoke with Vince. He told me he couldn't give me my money back for shipping. The only thing he could do was to resend the package or give me a 20% off coupon for my next shopping.
Since I do not shop at old Navy often tell me what good it would do. I am very disappointed in the service I received. If Old Navy cannot deliver in one day they should not offer it and for them not to listen to the customer it really put a bad taste in my mouth. 22 dollars may not be much money to some but to other it is a lot of money. I know I am only one customer and one customer NEVER ORDERING FROM YOU COMPANY AGAIN WON'T MAKE OR BREAK YOU, but just maybe someone else have had or will have the same experience and horrible treatment as myself and they will speak out too.

I purchased five pairs of jeans from Old Navy in St. Petersburg Florida. All five pairs ripped on me right in the crotch area. I wore them just one time and washed them once. All five tore in same area. I returned the jeans and exchanged them. I could not believe that again they all tore in the same area. So I work outside and I travel for my job. I went to a different store in a different city. The Old Navy store in Melbourne Florida is about 160 miles away from the St. Petersburg Old Navy. I told the manager there and she explained sometimes they get a bad batch and she assured me I would not have the issue again. Well I exchanged all five pairs. Again they all tore in same areas and even in the front this time. This time I didn't wear the jeans I just washed them. I will never purchase from Old Navy again. It's embarrassing when you have to walk around with jeans that tear in the crotch area. I wish I could just get my money back instead of keep exchanging them.

Ordered online and went to the store to exchange for different sizes. Took some time to find the items since the store was a bit messy and unfortunately the one dress was only available at another Old Navy store so I would have to return the dress but exchange two shirts. Turns out Old Navy does not do exchanges. I was told that I would have to return all the items and repurchase the shirts. Really why? I asked if the refund would be put on my card immediately and the clerk did not know but told me she thinks it takes a few days. I asked because a friend returned items to Old Navy and it took months and a fight to get her funds back. Not sure if it's a problem with online orders returned to store but it's unacceptable. I ended up just returning all items because of that issue. Turns out I still don't have the refunded money while writing this review.
What kind of company doesn't refund your money immediately and instead asks you to spend more money on items you already paid for? A bad one with horrible policies. Old Navy clothes are not the best but are trendy and I don't expect them to last but a season and I am fully aware of that but for a company to ask that you pay for things twice is 100% wrong. After spending time to purchase online then return to the store and find the shirts again, I left the store with no clothes and less money in my account. Buyer beware.

Yay Super Cash except it excludes damn near EVERYTHING at old navy. Online it says excludes everyday steals, hot deals, etc. Which is fine except during the super cash redeeming period stuff that normally isn't a "hot deal" or "everyday steal" magically becomes one. At least Gap allows you to use their Gap cash on majority of stuff and even Kohl's lets you use it as if it was actual cash. Pretty much every pair of kid's jeans and shirts turned into a hot deal rendering Super Cash pretty useless. You may as well just wait until they have 30 or 40% offers that say no exclusions. And what you can buy with Super Cash is probably what is not really selling for them and it's their way to get rid of old inventory. And I have like 5 pairs of their women's jeans that keep ripping. Their jeans should be $15 not almost 40 because the quality is just not there.

My partner used to swear by Old Navy's loose fit men's jeans and bought several pairs recently. However, after wearing one pair just a few times, I noticed a tear next to one of the rear pockets. Today, after wearing a DIFFERENT, NEWER pair there was a massive tear down the front next to the zipper. It was torn wide open from where the button was almost down to the top of the thigh area, simply from bending over while washing the car. We compared the pants to an older pair (one that lasted for years) and the quality just feels different, which is clear from the fact that the old pair is still in great condition while the new pairs are torn so badly they cannot be worn. Since we didn't keep the receipts, we threw the jeans in the garbage, but I took several photographs of the jeans. Again, these are the men's loose fit jeans. I think we will be staying far away from Old Navy unless and until the quality of their clothing improves.

I never write reviews or anything but my experience today was horrible. Horrible customer service and adding for your deals that are going on. I went to the store in Willow Grove, PA. When I went to ring up my clothes everything that I had was the fine print saying some exclusions apply. I don't know why you advertise with signs saying 30% or etc. and only one thing on the whole table to 30% off. It was 4 different items. Also, the salesperson who rung me up. He was flat out rude. I understand he had to hear my frustration when nothing I had was actually on sale, but when I looked at my receipt he rung me up for 2 articles of clothing I did not buy. And when I went back to tell him NOTHING. Not an "I am sorry for the mistake" or anything. Then when he rings it back up to return it he uses the sale price I thought it was originally.
I told him he told me that nothing I had in my cart was on sale yet when he rings it up he tries charging less for what I paid. Is this something Old Navy is trying to do? I never left the store during this whole process. The manager was no help and when I left the guy hist and said "what a" and I'm not going to finish that because it was flat out rude. I had my two year old daughter with me and he thought I did not hear him. I have mom ears. I heard it all. I went into Old Navy yesterday after seeing an emailed promotion that you will receive $20 in "Super Cash" for every $25 spent (they were calling it Double Super Cash). There were signs all over the store advertising this promotion. Obviously they know that people relate this to Kohl's Cash (where every dollar you earn is the amount that you can spend on merchandise, i.e. you have $20 in cash, you can purchase $20 in merchandise during a certain period of time... no further purchases beyond the $20 needed).
What a scam!!! I purchased $153 in merchandise. Only received a voucher for $60 in "Super Cash." (If it's as advertised, shouldn't that have been $140 in Super Cash if it's $20 for every $25 spent?) Then, when I got home & started reading the "rules" for redeeming the Super Cash, you have to spend MORE MONEY to get the amount listed (i.e. my $60 Super Cash is only applied if I spend ANOTHER $150!!!). What is that??? I have to spend a total of $300 in order to get the promotional discount? That is very shady promotion tactics on the part of Old Navy. Shame on you Old Navy!!!

I order over $100 worth of items off Old Navy's website with what should have been free 5 day shipping. On day 4, they sent me an email telling me that they cancelled half of my order because the items weren't available, but shipped the rest. I called to tell them that if they are going to cancel half of my order because items 'aren't available' (This turns out to be a TOTAL lie) that their website STILL says are available, they need to cancel my whole order. They said two things: 1) They can't cancel my order since they already shipped it. I will need to take time and money to ship it back to them. 2) The items ARE available, they just can't send some of them to a PO box. Well, GREAT - the Old Navy website is the one that insisted I put a PO box!
So, they re-order my items, now coming 5 days later than they should have (but they promise it will only take 3 and arrive in time for the trip I was shopping for), with a 10% discount...saving me a whopping 5 dollars! Considering I spent an hour on the phone and the items will now be 4 days late, this is NOT helpful - but I accepted it. Then, 4 days after that (still haven't gotten my original order) I get another email saying the same thing about one of the items I had to re-order - that it's not available. So, I call again, and AGAIN the item is available, they just couldn't ship it - despite having both a street address and PO box for me! All they can offer now is to re-order the final item, AGAIN, making it ten days late. And to top it off - both the first and second packages were shipped by USPS (meaning they could have used the PO box originally) AND neither arrive in time.
The worst part is - I was charged on my original order for shipping even though it should have been free! And they didn't refund the shipping cost the first time I called, despite me not getting ANY of my items in time. They offered me a whopping 10% off a future order both times they cancelled mine, as if I'm going to shop with their terrible company again. Not to mention - you can get a 30% off coupon just by joining their free newsletter, yet a paying customer gets 10% off after they screwed up their order twice? Old Navy is an absolute mess. They shouldn't be allowed to sell online as they clearly do not have the brain power to figure out how to fulfill orders and they don't care at all about their customers.

Finally he asked me for the credit card from which I paid the transaction and I gave them my card. I love old Navy clothing, and have purchased hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of clothing from them online over the past year, but, it really annoys me the way they manipulate their prices based on what sales promotion they are running... Perfect example, just today, received an email today, regarding a major online sale, 40% off everything, with promo code, no exclusions... So, I immediately went to the site to take advantage of this deal. I already had several items that had been marked down in my cart... and figured the additional 40% off would provide a fantastic deal, only to find that all the items that just days ago were marked down...were now listed at their full original price.
So the huge 40% promotion basically would just put them back to the previous marked down price, and in several cases would actually be more expensive, even after the 40% discount, than the previously marked down price. I appreciate this probably is not unique to old Navy alone, it's just disconcerting, as a consumer to be made to feel like some kind of idiot... Just my 2 cents, food for thought. Still love the clothing, still will continue to wear the brand, but these deceptive marketing games really need to be toned down. Consumers are not idiots and it's insulting to be treated as one.

Not everyone is able to travel while pregnant, and not everyone lives close by an old navy store. Why not meet the expectations of your customers. We are, by the way what keeps your company up and running.

My daughter injured herself badly in this store, hitting her head on a shelf that protruded out in an aisle. I filled out an incident report and was told by the manager on duty - I would get a call from someone to see how she was feeling. That never happened. Also, several times I have been in this store I have been discriminated and not asked if I needed help but, followed. I also believe the manager Trisha is insensitive to her customers' needs. She offers no help and is lazy. She also meddles into people personal life when not asked. She even told me I should leave my kids at home. Not knowing my life! I absolutely want to boycott this store all together. However, I know one store may not embody the entire establishment.

I went into Old Navy yesterday to shop around for myself. The store was neat but I had questions and the only person I saw was at the register. When I ask her to show me where something was, she told me she would call someone up to help me but I don't know why she couldn't just help me herself. When I go to check out, I have 2 shirts that are the same but one is blue and one is pink. They were clearance but some stupid reason one said 3.47 and one said 4.49.
I tell her they are same, they should be the same price but she said "Well one of the colors is older and the other one just recently got marked down." So I said, okay so change the price because customer is always right. She called a manager to ask if she can do that manager said no the prices are as marked. I was not happy. I also tell cashier I have Super Cash and she says I can't use it. Apparently, it hasn't started yet but when I got it, they didn't tell me the date it starts. I look on my phone for coupon and she tells me they don't have any coupon today but I found one, then she tells me it is a online only coupon so can't use it in store. I am so mad at Old Navy, I will never shop there again. They need to get their employees trained better!!! I will tell every person I know to never shop at Old Navy.

I purchased a pair of sneakers from Old Navy. When I received my bill it had the purchase of two pairs of sneakers on there. Unfortunately, I did not have my receipt, but I have never shopped at Old Navy until they had the flip flops for $1.00. I contacted Cust Serv and they told me that they had to investigate. When I received my next bill, the charge was still there. I will not pay this charge and I also agree that the interest rate is high, although my credit score is good. I will not be using this card anymore and I am going to cut it up. It is such a ripoff. Also, you cannot pay your bill in the store. Old Navy suck!

They lowered my credit limit to the max I have $65.00 available. They told me because of 2 or 3 late payments. I have never missed a payment or ever been late with any payments. I was just approved for a home loan. I will be paying Old Navy off and not using it anymore.

I placed an online order for some uniform pants. They were too small. They were taken to the location in Security Square Mall in Maryland. My cousin was told by the manager that the pants could not be returned in store. My cousin called me and told me what was said. I told her to go back and show the manager the receipt/invoice that says they can. My cousin called me back and said the manager said "It doesn't matter what the receipt says, that's not how it's done." So they left the store with no uniform pants for a child that had to go to school that Monday. I called the customer service line that night to verify how my return/exchange could be handled and I was told my purchase was eligible for in-store returns/exchanges.
I called the store the next day to see if I received the same answer. I spoke with the manager and sure enough I was told the return/exchange could not be done in-store. "They have to be returned the same way they were purchased." I called the customer service line again to speak with someone in the Customer/Store Relations Department. I was given the option of shipping my items back. I said "no, I want to return in-store as my receipt says." The rep gave me a case number and told me to call them when I got to the store to make sure my return/exchange was done. She also offered me a $10 off coupon towards my next online purchase. I never received that by email.
I decided to do an experiment. I called three different store in my area and ALL said I could come in and return/exchange my purchase. So the issue is, why is the Security Square Mall location different? They blatantly disregard store policy and in doing so breached a binding contract. I called the Customer/Store Relations department again and told them the $10 off coupon which I did not receive was not enough compensation for this breach of contract. I told the rep I wanted my purchase comp'ed, I wanted my pants exchanged and I wanted an apology. I was offered a $15 store credit instead. I said that's not enough compensation for my aggravation and inconvenience. I was told if I had an Old Navy credit card I could get more of a compensation. I was then offered a $20 online credit. I wasn't happy with that either. I asked for both and was told I couldn't have both so I didn't take either.
This was a total breach of contract and not one person I spoke with was willing to take ownership!!! I told them I would take this to the media and find a lawyer. I meant that!!! I went back to that store this morning and returned/exchanged with no incident. The associate didn't even know what I was talking about. Did exactly what I was told should have been done the first time. If they did this to me, there's no telling how many others they've done this to. I'm not done with them. I will follow through with contacting lawyers and the media. No one could give My contact information for the District Manager. I was offered a 15% off coupon by online sales. That one I received. Go figure.

This is message from Old Navy shoppers - please be sure what You buy from Old Navy. Returning very difficult. I bought kid's uniform pant wrong size. Today went to even exchange. She need original bill for even exchange for a different size but I don't have the bill. She told me I can return but I will get my money by mail that was 67 cents for a $10 pant. It made me very disappointed for such a big company could be bad return policy. This was the last purchase of mine at Old Navy.

I opened an Old Navy account back in March. I have never used my card. Then in August I get an alert from my credit monitoring system that my account had been closed. After an hour going through a rude representative, I finally get transferred to another dept. I was informed that a credit risk was done on my acct and it was closed. I asked why was a risk assessment done on my acct I have never used. He stated that a derogatory acct had been listed. I informed him that it was fraud and I had disputed it, and why I was not contacted prior. He stated that a letter was mailed out Friday AFTER it was closed. And it was their choice to close it or keep open! How they close an acct that has no negative activity based on an unauthorized credit pull 6 months later and in incorrect information! Worst company I have ever dealt with and will never shop Old Navy again!
