I placed an order on 8/11/19. Received email confirmation which for some reason states in read "this is not a receipt". The email does not provide a shipping date. On 8/13/19 I check on the status and it has not shipped and is not expected to arrive until 8/20/19. That's too late for me. I call to cancel. Static and heavy metal music on hold. Could barely hear the rep who could have used an energy drink. I can't cancel the order because "it's in process". They could send a cancel request but can't guarantee cancellation. Old Navy has LOTS of online competition from Amazon, Zappos and Target with their quick shipping & processing.

Worst customer service experience I have had in years. The phone agent at the online order dept (Old Navy Canada) won’t stop shouting for no reason. All I asked for was to correct an address and her tone was so harassing my ears are still ringing from talking to her. This woman Mrs. ** needs some lessons on how to speak to people in a correct and polite manner before she is allowed to pick up that phone. Such a disgrace to your company to hire such aggressive people.

I’ve been an online and in store customer of Old Navy for 12 years. Ever since my first daughter was born. Over the past year, I’ve received multiple packages with missing items. I have 3 children now and the majority of the clothes they wear are Old Navy. I’ve always been treated respectfully when calling to let them know there’s been a screw up. It’s never been anything huge - a missing packages of socks or a hole in a sweater once. Until this last order totaling $200 in clothes for my youngest. There were 8 items missing out of 17!

When I called to explain, they opened up a case file to look into the issue further because this has happened before! So now, we wait. In the meantime, I stew and try to figure out ways I can prove the issue is with their shipping department and NOT ME. Don’t they weigh their packages before shipping? They could easily compare weights of what my package was VS. What it should’ve been with the proper amount of items. SADLY, I don’t think my family or I will be shopping, at least online from Old Navy again.

Each time I go to Old Navy to pick up an order I regret it. I say I won't go back. Ha! Generally they have 1 or 2 cashiers on with sometimes 10 customers in line waiting. This is inexcusable for a business to expect customers wait this long. There are always a few other employees on the floor doing other things. Why isn't at least one of them at the register until the line goes down? I don't get it.

I tried to return some clothes (some of them were gifts) to Old Navy today (04/22/2019) without a receipt. The cashier took my driver license information, the return went through ok, just at the last step something she did was wrong, so the return did not complete. So she did the second time, after she input my driver license information, the return got declined. So I called the phone number (1-855-828-9670) they gave me, the representative was very rude and unprofessional, the only thing he said was "You can not return them without a receipt." and I was asking for the supervisor, he told me the supervisor was not available. Here is Old Navy's return policy "You can return gifts without a gift receipt to stores. You will receive a merchandise certificate in the amount of the current selling price of the item(s) returned. Valid id required. Merchandise certificates can be redeemed in store at Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic or Athleta.

At check out I was offered a credit card short application and I was told that if I did then I would get a discount. I told the cashier that I don't like credit card and that I would probably never use it. She said I could just apply and not use it so I did get it just for the discount but paid cash for my purchase. Then few months after Experian sent me a notice telling me my credit went down about 50 points for not paying Old Navy. I called Old Navy credit card department and they told me that my side of the story was not true because they cashiers cannot accept cash payments. That the computer doesn't give them the option. So I had to pay for the same purchase again and my credit will stay low. I lost $146 to Old Navy. I went back and the cashier does accept cash payments.

I went to Old Navy on Saturday April 6. The clerk rang up my merchandise and then I gave him a coupon that I received via email. The coupon gave me the discount and a total came up. I ran my debit card and the machine said approved. Then the clerk said there was something wrong with the coupon and I needed to have an Old Navy credit card for the coupon. When I showed them that that was not a qualification on the coupon, they realized the clerk rang in the wrong code. So then they proceed to tell me that I need to run my card again. I asked why when the machine said transaction approved. They told me that the transaction wasn't completed and that it didn't go through because of the coupon error.

I pulled out my phone and look up my account and sure enough the money was already deducted from my account. They told me no it wasn't even though I showed them that there was a charge for $269.18... the exact amount that they wanted me to re-run my card for. They told me that if I wanted the merchandise I would have to run my card again. There was no way I was going to run my card again so that they could deduct another $269 from my account. So they called the manager who called customer relations and they claimed there was no such monies taken from my account and that if I wanted the merchandise I would have to run my card again. I refused. I told them I didn't want the clothes anymore and that I wanted my money back. They told me no and gave me a case number for the issue and that I would be contacted.

I called my bank and they told me that indeed they deducted the funds and that they were responsible for reversing the funds because I used a debit card instead of a credit card. I was told by the bank that the funds would finish being withdrawn by Tuesday and that if they continued with the withdrawal I could file fraud charges. I went back in to get the manager's name and realized that she never bothered to take my name or phone number and she still wouldn't take my name.

I called Old Navy to try to resolve it. The first person I talked to disconnected me. I called back and got someone else, but I was told that even though I was talking to customer complaints I would have to wait until Monday to talk to customer relations. I told her that, "I bet you don't have my name and phone number so how was it suppose to be resolved." She sat there silent. I said, "I see you aren't interested in taking my info either." She finally took my info and I told them that I wanted to hear from them first thing tomorrow. I am sitting here without my money, without my merchandise and a nightmare of a time trying to resolve this crap. I will never shop there again.

Hey y’all, don’t buy from this place everrrr online. I ordered items. Cost almost $200. I received it and realized the sizes were too big, so I exchanged it. And you won’t believe they made me pay about over a hundred for the stuffs I was exchanging & told me they would refund me once they receive the returned items. Ok so I paid the amount for the exchanged items. The items finally came and I noticed the bag felt very light, lo and behold the quality of the clothes were awful like awful awful. If any of you know the store ‘Rainbow’, it was lesser quality than Rainbow and I spent over a hundred on this. Now I’m waiting for Old Navy to refund me $311 cause I’m sending back the rubbish quality they sent. Horrible company, I deeply regret shopping with them! They suck!

I used to be a big Old Navy customer, and enjoyed using their credit card and building up points to earn "rewards". This went along fine for awhile, though using the rewards varied greatly by store/employee. You were limited how many reward coupons you could use (some of mine were $5). Ok, fine - not a big deal. Then one time I needed to return an item I had purchased using rewards - good luck! I could not exchange, rather, had to go online, fill out some essay style form. Not worth my time - donated the unwanted item to charity.

For the price point of the clothing, the quality used to be okay, though has cheapened over time. Admittedly, I have not been in one of their stores in a year or so, just checked to see what the limit was on my card (hadn't used in a while). Was closed. No notice or alert of any kind. So much for a loyal customer that always paid on time. Right back at ya, Old Navy. My recommendation to anyone reading - use another credit card and earn cash back or simply pay cash when shopping. Their crazy high-interest credit card is not worth the hassle!

Old Navy is by far my favorite place to buy clothes and shoes. I order at least bi-monthly online and stop in the store a few times a month and always make a purchase. Lately the quality of the products have been terrible. I ordered a cute blouse for the spring and it came in the mail extremely wrinkled and had a hole in the sleeve. On a separate purchase I ordered a pair of pink flats. The flats came with one shoe being a 8 and the other a 6 (My size is a 8). Overall the quality of their clothes is becoming disappointing. The clothes falls apart after a few washes. Old Navy used to be so much better!!! Another problem I have with Old Navy is the horrible customer service online and at the store.

I called to ask for a refund or exchange for the shirt with a hole in it and the 2 different sized shoes. Both employees I spoke to were extremely rude. I received a new blouse at no additional cost, but the shoe problem was never corrected. The man insisted that I could not possibly have 2 different sizes shoes. I returned them at my local store and received a credit. The employees at my store in South Louisiana are absolutely horrible. They are rude and have more interest playing on their phones than helping customers. It’s so sad that my favorite clothing store is turning into a very negative place!!!

Do not sign up for this credit card! I take extreme pride in my credit score. My scores are in the high 800's. When you sign up, it is a hard inquiry. Not even a light inquiry. I made a small purchase in December with the Old Navy card. I rarely use this card, (that has a 10,000 limit). I never received a statement. When I finally did. My 35.00 purchase, was now over 100.00. They had charged me late fees. Dinked my credit score 66 points!!! Who does that? No emails, no call. Nothing. Only a statement 2 months later, showing the apparent late fees from the missed payments.

I immediately paid the 100.00. Called to cancel the card. I explained to customer service, no statement had been sent. I have never had a late payment, on any credit card. Obviously, I have outstanding credit to be issued 10,000 limit, on a Old Navy card. I explained, "I want this corrected with TransUnion." Was told it will take 30 days. We all know, this is not going to be fixed. How they are able to continue issuing credit cards? I'm baffled by it. Worthless company.

I wanted an even exchange with my receipt and the Manager Cheesa in the Waterford Lakes in Orlando store refused to help me. She gave me a number to call in which I did and they told me that it was all up to the department store manager to approve it. I just placed an order from their APP, after placing the order I realized I selected the incorrect shipping and billing information. First, I couldn't find the order info on their order tab on the app (This hasn't worked on previous orders either) and there was obviously no order cancelation option. I called customer service and the girl who answered sounded like I had just disturbed her and woken her from a nap. I asked her to please cancel my order as I no longer live at that delivery address and that the wrong card was billed.

She said that they don't have a order cancelation option, but that she would submit a request and hopefully the order center will see the request before sending off the items, but that there's a possibility that I will be billed and the items will be shipped out and I'd have to wait till it was returned from the incorrect address to have my money refunded. This is the trashiest process on the planet. Most clothing distributors have a cancelation option immediately after placing the order. This is such an inconvenience and makes me not want to take a risk and order from them or their faulty app again!!!

The pathetic clerk kept telling me that the items were not on my receipt. I could clearly see 5 pairs of PJ pants and 3 tops (the other two had to be ordered). The girl insisted that I had purchased 3 pair of medium pants even though I had not. I wanted to exchange, but they no longer had the items, so she wanted to give me store credit, which I didn’t want because I do not regularly shop there.

I have placed FOUR orders for the above jeans. The first pair I received had defective flaws in the material. I called up and was sent a second pair. Same SKU number, same size. The second pair arrived and was the same as the first pair. Defective lines all through the jeans. I again called Customer service and was told that they would launch an investigation to look into this problem I am having and would let me know when it was done so that I could again order these jeans. Keep in mind each time I received defective items I again had to return to the store and return these for a Credit on my Visa. I receive an email telling me that the investigation is completed and I again order the jeans (I really want these jeans). Again nobody from Customer service requesting a picture of the defects in the jeans.

I am sent out a third pair of jeans. I received the third pair of jeans and again same problem. Defective material and lines all through the jeans front/back/inseam/pockets. I again call your Customer service and speak now to a fifth person and tell them they need to contact your warehouse that these jeans are shipping from and have someone physically go out and look at all the product of this size and SKU number, and see the problem I have described (again doesn’t ask for a picture of defective jeans). They say that this will be done and they will again let me know when I can re-order these jeans. Well I am notified again that I can re-order the jeans for the fourth time and that the problem has been fixed and that the wrong jeans were sent out the last three times.

I receive the fourth pair of jeans on Nov. 14th and again the same problem!!! What is wrong with your warehouse staff that they cannot do their job and investigate this batch of defective jeans but can still send me out again another pair with the same problems. I again for the fourth time have to return these to the store at my expense and inconvenience. I am very disappointed with this and again have to return to the store to get my Credit. I think you were sold a batch of jeans with defective material on all of them. I don’t know what is so hard about having someone actually physically checking this SKU number. I think that you need to be more diligent in what you are sending out to your Customers, especially for the fourth time around. These are definitely not what your website reflects these jeans to be. I ordered about 20 items for my daughter, and after having to call to verify my address and credit card info (2 times in 1 week) I finally get the order through, and ON sends my order in like 50000 different shipments. 2 shirts here, 1 pant there, 4 sweaters here, all with different delivery dates. Seriously? You can send everything in 1-2 shipments? ** stupid!

Also, they have introduced a order online, pick up at store system, which sounds great, but they are too busy flagging everyone's card for fraud, and store team is halfway aware of online orders, that it makes the whole thing pointless. I'm guessing this applies to GAP and Banana as well, since they are owned by same idiots. Please fix, get it together with the shipping and let folks combine bonus cash with promo codes. When I asked if maybe my paperwork got lost in the shuffle the rep told me it was possible that he didn't know. I advised that I received a generic email from Old Navy that my product should be to me within 30 days, but that's it. The customer service rep told me that they couldn’t help me until after the guaranteed ship date of 9/5.

After 9/5 I could call in and cancel my order, or he could resubmit my order and request expedited shipping. I expressed I understood delays, but this was getting a little ridiculous. He then proceeded to offer me a 20% discount off my next order. I advised there was no need because I will not be ordering from this company again when I can‘t seem to even get my first order. Once a company has my money I expect my product to be shipped in a timely manner or to get my money back. I don't have a problem waiting 2 weeks for my order to be delivered, however to not be communicated with as a consumer who has ordered your product based on a timeline your company advised, and then get the run around is ridiculous. Old Navy has been by far my worst online shopping experience and I have bought many items online.

I've been a casual Old Navy customer for a few years. Mostly shopping in their stores. But have been ordering online lately. Last Spring, I made an order and received an e-mail confirmation. The next day I get an e-mail saying it was cancelled with no explanation. I called and was on the phone with them for over 30 minutes. They said it was a problem with my credit card. Which I have had for 20 years and used with them each time. Finally they removed the block from my card and placed the order again. The same thing happened this week. When I called Old Navy, I told them that this has stop. It's becoming a huge inconvenience. And I needed this order before I left on a trip.

They apologized and said they would overnight the order at no charge. Four days later, no order. That was yesterday (Thursday), and I leave for my trip today. I called them again last night, they said the order had gone out that morning from NYC and I would have it today. I asked the Rep why it went it 3 days after the first Rep said it was going to be shipped. And she made up some excuse that overnight deliveries still take a few days. I informed this Rep too that I was leaving for my trip at 1:00 PM on Friday, so it better get here before then.

Well, today, Friday, I get an e-mail from Old Navy that the order was just shipped and I'll be receiving it on Monday (8/27). So, did the Rep lie to me on the phone last night? This is completely unacceptable and the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I'm done with Old Navy. Won't be shopping there ever again. I gave them a one star review because you can't give anything less. But they deserve ZERO stars.

On the 8th day, I called customer service to find out what was going on with the order. I was told since it was back to school they were very busy and that they would be overnighting my stuff and I would have it on Monday. On Sunday the 9th day since the order was placed, I get an email stating that they are out of stock on one of the shirts.

Here it is Monday and still, no shirts as I was told over the weekend they were being overnighted and delivered. I called customer service today and all I can get told is that they are very busy and there's a lot of stuff that has to go out. They should have said all of this from the get-go. I would have went elsewhere to purchase the school shirts. Now it has been 10 days and still nothing and nobody seems to have a clue about what's going on. Then to return I have to stay home for UPS for whenever (good they pick up) but your life gone waiting and waiting for return money pickups and you can't see the product if the same as it shows on the site or not then the sizes off and some really cheap material for the cost. I made the mistake of giving them my email thinking I would get an email every once in a while, but they took the opportunity to email me multiple times on a daily basis. Since I got tired of the amount of email I was having to remove from my inbox, I opted out of their email communications. That should've been the end of it.

Since March 24th, they have emailed me every single day and often multiple times per day. They have ignored my unsubscribe requests and their customer service ignores any complaints about spam or requests to have an email address removed from their database. Do NOT under any circumstance give them your email address. If you're shopping online, you may want to use a temporary email address that you do not need to check on a normal basis, otherwise you will be cleaning up a lot of spam.

Another time, I was told it was outside of the 30 day return window so they would not accept the return even though I had a receipt and the SAME item was still displayed and sold in the store. Paying for overnight isn't going to be overnight but it may not even be three or four days later and that is misleading. They asked, “What is your reason for the return” I said “These items were gifts sent to my niece, and they do not fit.” The receipt totaled $58.79. I was immediately told that due to the fact that these items were passed 45 days, I was receiving 1/2 the value. The next jaw stopping comment was they would mail me the money in a check, excluding the tax that was paid. I said, “I would like to speak to a manager.” I told the manager I wanted a store credit so I could get my niece something comparable, and I wanted the full value on the receipt. She said, "No!"

I told her I would be contacting the regional office for their complete disregard for customer service. I told them, “So instead of a merchandise credit? Of 58.79. I get to spend additional money for what I came in to buy??? And receive a check for 25.00 or less dollars in the mail, in 10-20 days or so." I walked the store in disbelief!!! The store looked like a hurricane blew through it, it took me 1.5 hours to find two semi-normal pairs of jeans for my niece, which I still had to pay out of my own pocket. I will never, I repeat never shop there again. If I had not just donated every small pair of jeans my niece owned, I would have just left, as it was. I exhausted myself looking for something that even came close to decent quality, it was the last stop of the day. I used to shop at my hometown Old Navy all the time, however I started to feel as if I could never find the sizes I needed inside the store when I went. My friends and family know where I shop for the kids and as a gift for my son's birthday. We were gifted clothes that were the wrong size. Most people don't want to make others feel bad and I just took them back to the store and no huge surprise the size needed they did not have. (This is MY experience @ the Vineland, NJ Old Navy) I walk in look for the size that they do not have and the guy at the counter is having a hard time checking out the customer. He has no idea what he is doing and you can tell he is new. Now I'm waiting in line, He is still having a problem and after a few more moments as he didn't know what 20% off the total bill would be... He had to call the Manager for help.

I explained to the young man this was a gift and I did not have the receipt. He never asked for ID. He asked for my name and address never saying why? It felt very strange to me so I did not give him the correct address. He then said my refund would be in the mail at the address I provided. Really?? The Manager had to be called and I again questioned why this was happening. Never has this happened to me before with returns... A lot of hassle to return a gift... They had to redo the translation all over again. Now there are quite a bit of people waiting in line. She asks me for my name and address. I do not trust people so I chose to write down my name and address and asked for her to return the paper never asking me for an ID. She explained to me this was how a return was done without a receipt. Really. Where and when? I've returned things before and was always asked for ID and a reason why.

I was told this was equivalent to a gift card and could be used just like one. HOWEVER it would look like junk mail? Wonderful well it came and My name is spelled wrong and IM shocked they even sent one at all. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. I tried to use it online. Yeah right. I bought a lot of items from Old Navy and I went to another country for 2 and a half months so I couldn't return them on time. And of course, I didn't realize they changed their policy for returning from 90 days before to 45 days. When I came to store to return, the cashier told me I can't return because it past 45 days. It is OK, I understand. I asked for credit store or exchange. And the price they return to me is ridiculous. For example, I bought a jeans $19.99, they offer to return me 7.49. And if I want to exchange with exact model but different size, I need to pay $26.99 - $7.49 (which they return from my original 19.99 jean). I still need to pay the difference. This is totally riff off.

I understand that because it's past 45 days so I can't get the refund but they should return to me what I paid in credit store. Anyway I will use the credit store to buy their products again. But they didn't do that. They just find ways to take our money. The cashier kept telling me that my jeans is an old model which is 2016. But I bought it in September 2017. How can they sell me the old product from 2016 in 2017, and in December 2017 they told me these are old style while in the store, the same product they sell it for full price? This is totally rip off. It is same thing with my jacket which I paid for 14.99 and now they offer to return for $2.49. I never had that kind of experience with the store like with Old Navy. My experience ordering online with Old Navy was awful. The order showed as shipped but each day I tracked it, it wasn't showing when it would be delivered but said guaranteed to be delivered by today. Something told me to call and check. Customer service said the item was never picked up by UPS. No phone call, no email, no phone call to tell me this so I could find the item elsewhere. I find this out on my own the day before I actually need the item. Meanwhile I ordered the item over 8 days ago. With that I asked which store I could find the item in to go buy it and was given three locations. Was told that all 3 locations were showing "in the green" meaning they have many of that item. WRONG!!!! Not one store has this item. Complete waste of my time and gas! And inconsiderate of them to make people run around when online shopping is supposed to make your life easier.

So, even though I could have had the same discount on 50.00, they now will only take items back for the sale price. THIS IS ILLEGAL. The Senior Customer Service advisor said no one else we could speak with and that that's how it works. So, basically then they took my receipt and now I'm home with no receipt from the Birch RUN outlets. Basically you need to know if you give any money to OLD NAVY you are screwed.

I replied that I did not do that, I always use my visa for everything then I don't have to worry about paying other things off. She suggested I would get more savings and I could go home and pay the card off. So I thought OK. So I did just that. Later, when I needed to return some of the items they would not give me cash but would only put it on the card that I already paid off. So I would only be getting store credit. I was sick about it and the clerk had never mentioned that would happen if I returned any of my gifts.

I also received other merchandise from OLD NAVY online and they were all wrong sizes. Now I am stuck with about $150 in merchandise that I will get back in store credit only. AND customer service rep Marisha #** was very cavalier about saying that the company COULD put all the returns on my visa because the online order was on that, but they choose not to, because they sell tender for tender. I called customer service two different times checking on the order & got two different lies. I sent two emails to customer service & NOTHING... My 2nd call got me a promise to deliver by 12/23 and a $8.40 discount which is not even close to the recent drops in prices for the items in my order. Calling customer service was 35 minutes for the 1st call & 15 minutes for the 2nd. This has been a horrible nightmare as these are items for my college granddaughter for Christmas. Needless to say, I'll not be shopping at Old Navy online ever.

Nor will I shop in the stores as the reason I shopped online is because the store Academy in Colorado Springs would not help me when I showed them the online prices which were lower than the store prices & simply blew me off by saying the retail stores have different prices than online. Well idiot you just sent me to online with a hope you close your store with such bad attitudes, but now the online experience is worse than the horribly frustrating in-store experience. I think Old Navy should be Old News & stop making promises it doesn't keep & for heaven's sake provide pricing for current products awaiting to be fulfilled for whatever century they'll be shipped.

I wanted to forward my emails to headquarters but there's not email publicized which shows they have way more complaints than they want to deal with or they just don't give a damn (bingo!). I have long been shopping at Old Navy and even opened an Old Navy credit card. I do have an issue with their shipping policies, though. I have several times placed orders and never received a shipping notification. I recently placed two Orders, one on November 25th, and one on December 4th. I haven't received a shipping notice for either order, but my concern was the order placed on the 25th. When I called the customer service line, after 20 minutes of being on hold the associate told me it would be here by the middle of next week. I asked if that was normal, because it has been more than 10 business days since I placed my order and I selected 5-7 day shipping.

She told me I did not pay for shipping (which is free with a larger purchase so why bring that up?) and at the time of purchasing there was an extended delivery estimate in the shipping window. I did expect delays for Black Friday, but my concern was a lack of a tracking number. She assured me it would be here by next week and didn't tell me when to expect a tracking number. Today I filled up a cart and took a look at the shipping option window, I often choose free shipping because I'm already spending at minimum $50. It reads "5-7 business days, arrives by 12/23". (See image.) Today is the 7th of December, seven business days from now is the 16th of December. I understand processing time, and think that the excess of a few days is acceptable considering holidays.

I find the 'fine print' strategy used when choosing shipping options to be shady, as it appears to contradict itself with no explanation. Other retailers add in a blurb about processing time, or holidays. Old Navy does not. I am away at work most days and shop online frequently, tracking numbers are immensely useful to me because I know to let someone at home know to expect mail or packages. Without a tracking number I have no way of knowing when the package will arrive, only the 'promise' that it will arrive by the middle of next week.

I received an email the next day saying my order had shipped. I then receive another email 2 days after the original one saying the order was on its way. That is when I discovered the address was incorrect. The items had been shipped to my old address. After calling customer service, they told me there was nothing they could do about it and that I should try calling up UPS to have the shipment changed.

I called UPS AND the US Postal Service (because my shipment was being delivered to a certain point and then being turned over to the Postal Service for completion). Both told me that the shipper (Old Navy aka Gap Direct) had made it so that if the package was deemed undeliverable it should be returned to sender. For 3 days I tried to get it delivered to the correct address, both UPS and the Postal Service told me that the shipper could call them and have the package redirected. I called Old Navy to inform them of this and they told me they couldn't do it and I would have to wait for the package to be returned to them and then they could overnight it back to me.

Today the package was returned to them. I call back again and they say I have to wait a couple more days for it to be shipped back out because the package goes back to the warehouse and they have to open it and blah blah blah, so it will essentially be another week at the very least, before I receive my items. I don't shop at Old Navy for myself because their clothing is ill fitting on me. The items I bought were for my toddler son for the Fall because Old Navy had a really good 40% off sale going on and a coupon for free shipping. I went to a different store in a different city. The Old Navy store in Melbourne Florida is about 160 miles away from the St. Petersburg Old Navy. I told the manager there and she explained sometimes they get a bad batch and she assured me I would not have the issue again. Well I exchanged all five pairs. Again they all tore in same areas and even in the front this time. This time I didn't wear the jeans I just washed them. I will never purchase from Old Navy again. It's embarrassing when you have to walk around with jeans that tear in the crotch area. I wish I could just get my money back instead of keep exchanging them.

Ordered online and went to the store to exchange for different sizes. Took some time to find the items since the store was a bit messy and unfortunately the one dress was only available at another Old Navy store so I would have to return the dress but exchange two shirts. Turns out Old Navy does not do exchanges. I was told that I would have to return all the items and repurchase the shirts. Really why? I asked if the refund would be put on my card immediately and the clerk did not know but told me she thinks it takes a few days. I asked because a friend returned items to Old Navy and it took months and a fight to get her funds back. Not sure if it's a problem with online orders returned to store but it's unacceptable. I ended up just returning all items because of that issue. Turns out I still don't have the refunded money while writing this review.

What kind of company doesn't refund your money immediately and instead asks you to spend more money on items you already paid for? A bad one with horrible policies. Old Navy clothes are not the best but are trendy and I don't expect them to last but a season and I am fully aware of that but for a company to ask that you pay for things twice is 100% wrong. After spending time to purchase online then return to the store and find the shirts again, I left the store with no clothes and less money in my account. Buyer beware.

Yay Super Cash except it excludes damn near EVERYTHING at old navy. Online it says excludes everyday steals, hot deals, etc. Which is fine except during the super cash redeeming period stuff that normally isn't a "hot deal" or "everyday steal" magically becomes one. At least Gap allows you to use their Gap cash on majority of stuff and even Kohl's lets you use it as if it was actual cash. Pretty much every pair of kid's jeans and shirts turned into a hot deal rendering Super Cash pretty useless. You may as well just wait until they have 30 or 40% offers that say no exclusions. And what you can buy with Super Cash is probably what is not really selling for them and it's their way to get rid of old inventory. And I have like 5 pairs of their women's jeans that keep ripping. Their jeans should be $15 not almost 40 because the quality is just not there.

With only two registers open, it took at least 25 minutes before I was finally at the register. There was no apology for the wait made. My purchase was jammed into a bag. They have offers me to open my Old Navy card. I did not want to do it but as soon they told me I was going to save money, I say "sure". I was approve and had a great discount. I open my card in a different location but after that I decided to go to a different location because I had the end of the day to use my discount. I have decided to go the Moorestown location in NJ to try it out.

It was very clean. But not only that, I have a comment to say. Giovanna was very helpful. She could not help will all my question so she decided to call her Manager. Her name was Jodi. I can say Jodi was very helpful with me. All store should have manager like her. She have answer all my question and also had help me with my purchase. My partner used to swear by Old Navy's loose fit men's jeans and bought several pairs recently. However, after wearing one pair just a few times, I noticed a tear next to one of the rear pockets. Today, after wearing a DIFFERENT, NEWER pair there was a massive tear down the front next to the zipper. It was torn wide open from where the button was almost down to the top of the thigh area, simply from bending over while washing the car. We compared the pants to an older pair (one that lasted for years) and the quality just feels different, which is clear from the fact that the old pair is still in great condition while the new pairs are torn so badly they cannot be worn. Since we didn't keep the receipts, we threw the jeans in the garbage, but I took several photographs of the jeans. Again, these are the men's loose fit jeans. I think we will be staying far away from Old Navy unless and until the quality of their clothing improves.

When I went to ring up my clothes everything that I had was the fine print saying some exclusions apply. I don't know why you advertise with signs saying 30% or etc. and only one thing on the whole table to 30% off. It was 4 different items. Also, the salesperson who rung me up. He was flat out rude. I understand he had to hear my frustration when nothing I had was actually on sale, but when I looked at my receipt he rung me up for 2 articles of clothing I did not buy. And when I went back to tell him NOTHING. Not an "I am sorry for the mistake" or anything. Then when he rings it back up to return it he uses the sale price I thought it was originally.

I told him he told me that nothing I had in my cart was on sale yet when he rings it up he tries charging less for what I paid. Is this something Old Navy is trying to do? I never left the store during this whole process. The manager was no help and when I left the guy hist and said "what a" and I'm not going to finish that because it was flat out rude. I had my two year old daughter with me and he thought I did not hear him. I have mom ears. I heard it all. I will be sharing this post with my Facebook page and other pages on Facebook because how I was treated was completely disrespectful and I do not want anyone else to be treated like me. I went into Old Navy yesterday after seeing an emailed promotion that you will receive $20 in "Super Cash" for every $25 spent (they were calling it Double Super Cash). There were signs all over the store advertising this promotion. Obviously they know that people relate this to Kohl's Cash (where every dollar you earn is the amount that you can spend on merchandise, i.e. you have $20 in cash, you can purchase $20 in merchandise during a certain period of time... no further purchases beyond the $20 needed).

What a scam!!! I purchased $153 in merchandise. Only received a voucher for $60 in "Super Cash." (If it's as advertised, shouldn't that have been $140 in Super Cash if it's $20 for every $25 spent?) Then, when I got home & started reading the "rules" for redeeming the Super Cash, you have to spend MORE MONEY to get the amount listed (i.e. my $60 Super Cash is only applied if I spend ANOTHER $150!!!). What is that??? I have to spend a total of $300 in order to get the promotional discount? That is very shady promotion tactics on the part of Old Navy. Shame on you Old Navy!!!

I order over $100 worth of items off Old Navy's website with what should have been free 5 day shipping. On day 4, they sent me an email telling me that they cancelled half of my order because the items weren't available, but shipped the rest. I called to tell them that if they are going to cancel half of my order because items 'aren't available' (This turns out to be a TOTAL lie) that their website STILL says are available, they need to cancel my whole order. They said two things: 1) They can't cancel my order since they already shipped it. I will need to take time and money to ship it back to them. 2) The items ARE available, they just can't send some of them to a PO box. Well, GREAT - the Old Navy website is the one that insisted I put a PO box!

So, they re-order my items, now coming 5 days later than they should have (but they promise it will only take 3 and arrive in time for the trip I was shopping for), with a 10% discount...saving me a whopping 5 dollars! Considering I spent an hour on the phone and the items will now be 4 days late, this is NOT helpful - but I accepted it. Then, 4 days after that (still haven't gotten my original order) I get another email saying the same thing about one of the items I had to re-order - that it's not available. So, I call again, and AGAIN the item is available, they just couldn't ship it - despite having both a street address and PO box for me! All they can offer now is to re-order the final item, AGAIN, making it ten days late. And to top it off - both the first and second packages were shipped by USPS (meaning they could have used the PO box originally) AND neither arrive in time.

The worst part is - I was charged on my original order for shipping even though it should have been free! And they didn't refund the shipping cost the first time I called, despite me not getting ANY of my items in time. They offered me a whopping 10% off a future order both times they cancelled mine, as if I'm going to shop with their terrible company again. Not to mention - you can get a 30% off coupon just by joining their free newsletter, yet a paying customer gets 10% off after they screwed up their order twice? Old Navy is an absolute mess. They shouldn't be allowed to sell online as they clearly do not have the brain power to figure out how to fulfill orders and they don't care at all about their customers.

Finally I went on a Sunday but I did not have the receipt with me. The Cashier immediately ask for receipt and I told her that I did not have it. I spoke with a Manager and he told me that without the receipt, they will not remove the security tag. I asked the manager if do I have the appearance of a crook and he replied the same thing. I told him that I would go home and get the receipt then he needed to remunerate me for the time and gas expense because the security tag were their fault and not mine.

Finally he asked me for the credit card from which I paid the transaction and I gave them my card. Without asking me further questions he removed the tag and very upset replied to me to next time bring a receipt and threw the garment back to me. I never felt so humiliated by the manager's attitude instead of offering me alternatives to solve the problem. I love old Navy clothing, and have purchased hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of clothing from them online over the past year, but, it really annoys me the way they manipulate their prices based on what sales promotion they are running... Perfect example, just today, received an email today, regarding a major online sale, 40% off everything, with promo code, no exclusions... So, I immediately went to the site to take advantage of this deal. I already had several items that had been marked down in my cart... and figured the additional 40% off would provide a fantastic deal, only to find that all the items that just days ago were marked down...were now listed at their full original price.

So the huge 40% promotion basically would just put them back to the previous marked down price, and in several cases would actually be more expensive, even after the 40% discount, than the previously marked down price. I appreciate this probably is not unique to old Navy alone, it's just disconcerting, as a consumer to be made to feel like some kind of idiot... Just my 2 cents, food for thought. Still love the clothing, still will continue to wear the brand, but these deceptive marketing games really need to be toned down. Consumers are not idiots and it's insulting to be treated as one.

Not everyone is able to travel while pregnant, and not everyone lives close by an old navy store. Why not meet the expectations of your customers. We are, by the way what keeps your company up and running.

My daughter injured herself badly in this store, hitting her head on a shelf that protruded out in an aisle. I filled out an incident report and was told by the manager on duty - I would get a call from someone to see how she was feeling. That never happened. Also, several times I have been in this store I have been discriminated and not asked if I needed help but, followed. I also believe the manager Trisha is insensitive to her customers' needs. She offers no help and is lazy. She also meddles into people personal life when not asked. She even told me I should leave my kids at home. Not knowing my life! I absolutely want to boycott this store all together. However, I know one store may not embody the entire establishment.

I went into Old Navy yesterday to shop around for myself. The store was neat but I had questions and the only person I saw was at the register. When I ask her to show me where something was, she told me she would call someone up to help me but I don't know why she couldn't just help me herself. When I go to check out, I have 2 shirts that are the same but one is blue and one is pink. They were clearance but some stupid reason one said 3.47 and one said 4.49.

I tell her they are same, they should be the same price but she said "Well one of the colors is older and the other one just recently got marked down." So I said, okay so change the price because customer is always right. She called a manager to ask if she can do that manager said no the prices are as marked. I was not happy. I also tell cashier I have Super Cash and she says I can't use it. Apparently, it hasn't started yet but when I got it, they didn't tell me the date it starts. I look on my phone for coupon and she tells me they don't have any coupon today but I found one, then she tells me it is a online only coupon so can't use it in store. I am so mad at Old Navy, I will never shop there again. They need to get their employees trained better!!! I will tell every person I know to never shop at Old Navy.

When I received my next bill, the charge was still there. I will not pay this charge and I also agree that the interest rate is high, although my credit score is good. I placed an online order for some uniform pants. They were too small. They were taken to the location in Security Square Mall in Maryland. My cousin was told by the manager that the pants could not be returned in store. My cousin called me and told me what was said. I told her to go back and show the manager the receipt/invoice that says they can. My cousin called me back and said the manager said "It doesn't matter what the receipt says, that's not how it's done." So they left the store with no uniform pants for a child that had to go to school that Monday. I called the customer service line that night to verify how my return/exchange could be handled and I was told my purchase was eligible for in-store returns/exchanges.

I called the store the next day to see if I received the same answer. I spoke with the manager and sure enough I was told the return/exchange could not be done in-store. "They have to be returned the same way they were purchased." I called the customer service line again to speak with someone in the Customer/Store Relations Department. I was given the option of shipping my items back. I said "no, I want to return in-store as my receipt says." The rep gave me a case number and told me to call them when I got to the store to make sure my return/exchange was done. She also offered me a $10 off coupon towards my next online purchase. I never received that by email.

I decided to do an experiment. I called three different store in my area and ALL said I could come in and return/exchange my purchase. So the issue is, why is the Security Square Mall location different? They blatantly disregard store policy and in doing so breached a binding contract. I called the Customer/Store Relations department again and told them the $10 off coupon which I did not receive was not enough compensation for this breach of contract. I told the rep I wanted my purchase comp'ed, I wanted my pants exchanged and I wanted an apology. I was offered a $15 store credit instead. I said that's not enough compensation for my aggravation and inconvenience. I was told if I had an Old Navy credit card I could get more of a compensation. I was then offered a $20 online credit. I wasn't happy with that either. I asked for both and was told I couldn't have both so I didn't take either.

This was a total breach of contract and not one person I spoke with was willing to take ownership!!! I told them I would take this to the media and find a lawyer. I meant that!!! I went back to that store this morning and returned/exchanged with no incident. The associate didn't even know what I was talking about. Did exactly what I was told should have been done the first time. If they did this to me, there's no telling how many others they've done this to. I'm not done with them. I will follow through with contacting lawyers and the media. No one could give My contact information for the District Manager. I was offered a 15% off coupon by online sales. That one I received. Go figure.

I traveled today to my local Old Navy store based on an email advertisement I received that offered a host of discounts - including "Uniforms on Sale" which was consistent with my needs. In particular, the uniform configuration pictured at the upper left of the provided picture - emailed to me on July 12, 2015 by Old Navy - was within the dress code requirements of my daughter's school. At checkout, I was dismayed to discover that the button-down white uniform shirt -- pictured clearly in the ad -- was not discounted.

Discussions with the cashier, assistant manager and manager resulted in the same "party line" - that they could not honor a discount that was not in their "system" regardless of whether it was to protect against a clear FTC violation. My threat to take the issue up with social media resulted in the provision of a $5 coupon by the manager - but no acknowledgment of the mistake that was made by both Old Navy corporate and this particular unit. I would like an explanation from Old Navy as to why they sent me a misleading advertisement and an understanding of how they wish to remedy the situation - not just with me, but the hundreds of shoppers who were overcharged during this weekend's sale.

Bad customer experience at Old Navy. My wife is the one that always shop at the Old Navy Outlet in Auburn, today I decided to go with her as we were spending some time together. My issue is not with the company but the employees. My experience there was one with mixed feelings. As my wife was standing in line waiting to be checked out and I waited at the other end I noticed one cashier walking back and forth while two other cashiers were assisting customers. So I watched in disbelief not wanting to believe what I was seeing or what I was thinking.

Finally my wife was called next by another cashier and as soon as she was called the other cashier just stood at her register then proceeded to call the next customer in line. Now my wife is ** and I am a mixed ** male. After seeing this I joined my wife at the register and asked "what just happened it seemed like she didn't want to help you?" And she just said "you know I felt that same way and thought it was just me".

So now we are checking out and I notice that the cashier handling my wife's purchase over charged her by double scanning an item. So I bring it to his attention by saying "I seen what you just done", the look on his face was one of like "damn I'm caught". Now mind you I was already feeling a little perturbed by the first incident now this, so my wife swiped her card and said "wait it does say on the screen at the bottom 8 items" when she only had 7. So he said "we will go through the transactions in a minute cause it had already began to process her debit card".

The cashier tried to act dumbfounded as if he didn't know what was going on. I repeated again "you know what you just done and I seen you and you were not going to even correct the mistake you've made?" I was just beyond mad cause of the whole experience and threw the clothes at him and told my wife to leave "we don't have to deal with people that are like this", but she stayed patient and calm through the whole ordeal. I had to walk away to cool down cause I just couldn't believe our experience there.

As my wife stayed at the counter the cashier had to find the items to scan for the refund and tried to add some items that were not the ones on my wife's purchase. She informed him that the items he retrieved behind him were not all the correct items, the cashier then found the correct items with my wife's help then said he couldn't find the item he had scanned twice, my wife said, "I don't see how it has to be on there". They went through scanning the items 3 times then finally he says "oh here it is". My wife made sure the full transaction was canceled and the funds were refunded back to her card.

When we got home she called and asked for the district manager's phone number as well as the corporate office's for their complaint department. She ended up holding for about 4 mins and then a general manager came on the line, asking what was the issue. She explained the whole ordeal then was given a number to 800-old-navy. Finally, my wife called them just so they could have documentation of what's going on at the Old Navy at the New Outlet Collection.

What I would like to do is first warn customers to pay attention to what's going on with purchasing items cause you never know how long this employee has been doing this. This could be an isolated incident but then again I just don't think so. My wife informed the general manager at the store and the customer service rep that they need to review their cameras to see the entire incident. I really hope they review those cameras to see how she was treated, and our overall visit there.

Only when I thought it could not get any worse, it did - there were sale signs all over the place. I didn't know what was on sale and what was regular price which made checking out a struggle.

After finding a couple of cute outfits for my son I went to look for some clothes for myself. As I stood in line for almost for a changing room since the workers controlling the fitting rooms decided to eat, drink, dance, and socialize. If I had to wait another minute I would have changed right in front of the other customers. OH MY GOODNESS the line to check out was so long, I'm talking about longer than the Twilight Saga midnight premiere. Finally beginning to checkout the cashier begins to go on and on about some credit card. After repeating "NO" seven times the cashier still continued to ask me almost making me feel pressured into getting a card. After arriving home all I could say to myself was so much for a stress free day. Oh and all the managers seemed too busy to continue their irrelevant conversations rather than help customers.

I was finally after many many emails explained what a few things are and was finally given the price adjustment. The last person to reply was very kind. Truly it become not about the money but the lack of communication and "consistent & fair" practices they were talking about... when they were not being either of those. I would have accepted not getting the price adjustment had things been explained truthfully the first time around.

I still do think that the whole idea behind super cash really is not fair to the "valued customer" but do appreciate that fact that OldNavy does provide good quality clothing at a fair price and most times they do try to offer discounts.

In the end I just think they need better wording on policies listed online and that they truly practice their Consistent & Fair policy a little better.

    Original Review: June 10, 2015

Old Navy had the Super Cash promo going. I had spent enough money to earn myself 3 separate Super Cash Voucher, which in turn meant I needed to place three separate orders to use my Vouchers. I placed the three orders, they arrived in great time and the items were in great quality. No sooner does the Super Cash promo end and the prices of all the items I purchased dropped significantly... I am aware of the Price adjustment policy they offer and have had no prior issues using it. So I send two separate emails in regards to a price adjustment on two separate orders. The first email is replied to telling me I do qualify for a price adjustment and the amount it given.

I then received the second email regarding the second order telling me I DO NOT qualify for a price adjustment as I used SUPER CASH. So I inquire as to why one order qualifies and not the other. I get the runaround and no straight answers. Then I am told that they need to be "CONSISTENT & FAIR AT ALL TIMES," even though they are not being consistent. The website clearly states there will be no price adjustment for promotional discounts but that REWARDS CERTIFICATES & FREE SHIPPING ORDERS will qualify. SUPER CASH = REWARDS CERTIFICATES. It was not a discount code/coupon code. It was spend a certain amount of money this month and next month when you spend $75 you will be able to deduct $30. Not a % off deal.

Regardless they then tried to tell me the only reason I was granted the price adjustment on the first order was as a "courtesy to me as I am a valued customer" which is a clear and blatant lie. I have asked multiple times if SUPER CASH does not qualify as a REWARD CERTIFICATE then what does - which I have not been given an answer. I told them had I known they were not going to give me the price adjustment I would have just re-ordered the items and sent back the original ones I purchased with the SUPER CASH. To which they told me it would cost more money (which is actually totally untrue). I could have purchased the items the day I sent the email without using SUPER CASH and the order would have been cheaper. What a great way to reward your valued customers.

The SUPER CASH is a scam in my opinion. In the end I had to spend $150 to save $30 - and that is just considering one SUPER CASH voucher I also had two others. Had I of known I would get better deals without the super cash I would have just placed orders as I saw the deals come up. What a terrible way to reward customers. Then have your customer service agents treat the customer like garbage, lie, skirt around questions and then just completely ignore the customer.

I had very shocking recent experience from Old Navy. I just need your suggestions people. Please help me suggesting my options as I am totally blank at the moment! I want to share story in short. I bought jacket which zipper was defective. I went to my local store but she was not able to return it as item was not in her system so talked to their customer service and they suggest me to take it to another store or stores until any of them found it in their system. I found this idea ridiculous and write their customer service that I am no more interested in their stores anymore with this poor quality and pathetic customer service. Then I received call from their OHIO store and their representative ** asked me to send the jacket to them and they will not only reimburse the shipping charges, they will also refund me the charges I paid for that jacket.

So I shipped from Canada to USA and paid around $30 for the shipping. Today I received call from Old Navy. A very rude lady first she said, "Even though jacket zipper was broken but we don't find it defective as it was not broke at the time of purchase." Anyhow, after a long debate, she said, "Ok doesn't matter if it's defective or not, jacket looks like 4 year old." I said, "Do you think your jackets will last for 4 year?" Anyways I told her that "I am not interested in your store anymore so don't care about the jacket, just reimburse my shipping charges." She rudely said, "You will not get anything from here." I said I want to talk to ** (the person I originally talked with). She said, "He will not contact you. In fact, nobody will contact you and you will not get anything back." She continuously saying that then I shut the phone.

Could anyone ever experienced this? It looks like I am living in a village with no rights at all. How come they back off like that. I have all the emails and case IDs with me. Could anyone suggest what should I do?

Pathetic! Ordered AFTER the holidays several items. It is now well over 2 weeks. When I call they tell me that the pieces ordered come from different places and there is nothing they can do about it. Dates promised are not true. They say that there are several packages coming, some are ready to be shipped (?) and some are somewhere?? No tracking. Another item was removed from my purchase. No email was sent to me and when I asked why it was removed (it was in stock) I was told maybe it was damaged and they didn't want to send it, which is fine but never notified. This is the worst company to order from and the WORST customer service. Very clueless people, including a supervisor who had no idea. Old Navy does not care, due to the fact people will still order from them and a few people complaining is no loss. Last time we order from them.

Because they are envious and jealous of the way I worked. Worst customer service ever. Must stand in a circle and talk about people. They sit in the back and talk about employees all day long also. I placed an order online with Old Navy on Saturday, December 13th. I ordered several shirts, hats, pullovers, and belts for my 16 year old twin nephews for Christmas. When I placed the order, I was told my shipment would be delivered between 5-8 days. 3 days later, on Tuesday, December 16th, I checked my order status and saw that my order had not been shipped yet. I called Old Navy customer service and asked when I would receive my shipment because I was concerned that it hadn't been shipped yet and I am scheduled to go out of town on December 23rd. She told me that the first promised delivery date in her system shows December 24th. I asked her why it would take so long to receive a shipment and she said she wasn't sure. Then I told her I would to cancel my order because the 24th would be too late. She told me that she could submit a request for cancellation but she couldn't guarantee that the request would be approved. I asked her why since the order hasn't been shipped and she replied that they may have boxed the order up already.

I then asked her if she could change the shipping on my order to 2 day or overnight and she told me she could, but I would have to pay for the order again (which was over $100) and then return the original items once I received them in order to get my money back from the first purchase. I then asked her if she could change the delivery address to my mom's house since that is where I would be traveling. Once again, she told me that she could submit a request but she couldn't guarantee anything. I asked to speak to a supervisor and the associate informed me that a supervisor would tell me the same. After getting absolutely nowhere, she offered to send me a coupon for 15% off my next purchase for my inconvenience.

As of the next day, I had not received an email from Old Navy or the coupon. So I wrote into Old Navy and explained to them the situation and the fact that not only was I not going to receive my order before going out of town, I wasn't even sent the coupon I was promised. Old Navy responded that night and sent me a coupon and also cancelled my entire order without asking. And the reason they gave for the slow delivery was that it is the holidays and order volume is high. I will never order online from them again or shop at their stores.

It was shipment pending until Dec 12th and calling them, they were less than helpful the woman says, "you got shipping for free, if you paid it would have been quicker!!!!!" I placed an order for Christmas gifts on Thursday, Dec. 11. I ordered gifts for family located about 600 miles away that I need to reship the items to. Thinking that I had plenty of time, I chose the free shipping option. WRONG MOVE!!! These items were shipped from the Old Navy warehouse on Friday Dec. 12 (I received email notification), but whatever FedEx delivery option Old Navy uses does not have them arriving at my house until Dec. 24, which, of course, does not allow me to have them to their recipients!!! Really - 2 weeks to receive my order??? They should tell you that when you choose that shipping option. I ordered a decal from China on Dec. 7 and it arrived yesterday with NO expedited shipping payment. Now their website is offering free 2 day shipping and 30% off the order??? I ordered my items a week ago and I won't get mine until Christmas; people can order the same stuff today and get it on Friday Dec. 19. This is BS. I will NEVER order from them online again.

Oh and I forgot to mention that I had an email saying that I had $30 in rewards toward my order, which prompted me to do the shopping. Then when I tried to use the rewards on the purchase, my account said I had $0. By then, I had already done the shopping and didn't want to have to find the items elsewhere, so I placed the order. Then I received a card in the mail 3 days ago saying that I have $5??? I am seriously thinking of cancelling this card. What a hoax.

First of all, I have worked in customer service and retail for many years, so I sympathize with people who answer customer service phone lines. But my sympathy could not make up for this worker's apathy, so here I am. I placed an online order on December 7, 2014 for 8 items (2 of which were from The Gap, and 6 from ON) with free shipping. One Old Navy item and both Gap items were shipped on December 8. I have received the ON item, and the Gap items are scheduled for delivery tomorrow. The other 6 items I ordered were still "pending shipment" so I called to inquire about when I could expect them to be shipped.

The lady who I spoke to told me that these items were scheduled to ship on December 23, 2014. I explained to her that I ordered these (IN STOCK) items so early so that they would arrive before Christmas and I didn't understand why these items would be shipped so late (therefore not arriving before Christmas). She could only say "I don't know what to tell you." I was on the website and they were advertising orders placed by December 20 would arrive by December 24. I asked if I were to re-place my order if it would get to me faster, since the website clearly advertised holiday shipping dates. She said I could cancel my current order and do that. She canceled my order, and never offered to place another one for me. I was so annoyed by the lack of customer service I received by this company that I instead spent 3 times the amount that I would have at ON and instead purchased my items at another retailer.

I have always been a fan of Old Navy and their products, but I will not shop with a company who doesn't know how to treat their customers. If you have a product in stock, mail it out. There is no reason to hold an item for 16 days before shipping it, especially around the holidays when you know people are giving gifts. The explanation of "I don't know what to tell you" just isn't good enough, you find a way to solve the problem. That's why it's called customer SERVICE.

I basically just ordered a pair of pants and a shirt shortly after black Friday using the coupon code: FLASH. First they randomly put a hold on the order until they could verify my identity which I thought was very strange. I had to call them and confirm I was who I said I was which was strange because I barely had a way to verify they were who they said they were. Then I decided that I was going to cancel the order for the pants because after a few days, the charge wasn't showing up on my card statement. Well as fate would have it, that would happen to be the same day they were shipped.

I was very unhappy to see that they could not recall the package. And dare I say to refund my charge because it still hasn't shown up. Then I went to check the tracking number for the pants and see they displayed as full price on the website, then I get a brief email explaining that they were showing the full price in error. I've had to contact customer service a total of three times. Everything was very “No no everything is fine.” But I can't understand how it would be considering how slap dash everything seems to be.

On November of 2013, I went to an Old Navy Store in the Seattle, WA area to buy some clothes. When I got to the register, the cashier asked me if I would like an Old Navy card. I assumed this was like my grocery store loyalty cards, merely providing a discount without any offer of credit. I consented to the card. The cashier then continued processing the card and he asked me a lot of questions. I didn't understand what all the questions were for, so I asked for clarification why he needed so much information.

It turns out that I had inadvertently consented to opening up a credit account with Old Navy and the cashier was applying my purchase to the account. As soon as I realized this, I made it clear that I did not want an Old Navy credit account and I requested that the cashier call in and both cancel the charges and close the credit account. The cashier did call in right then and supposedly cancelled my account, although I received only verbal confirmation of this. In good faith, I then paid for my purchase with my BECU Mastercard.

Old Navy has been trying to bill me for over a year on their credit account when I have already paid the bill with my Mastercard. They don't accept that I paid the debt with my Mastercard, even though about mid summer 2014, I faxed them a copy of my bank statement showing the charges at Old Navy on my Mastercard and they are still trying to collect the debt, which has now ballooned to almost $400.00, even though I have paid the full balance at the point of purchase and faxed records of paying to them. I have explained the situation to Old Navy collection staff several times and they never seem to be able to resolve it.

I am extremely displeased with the harassment I have received from Old Navy and their collections personnel and am of the opinion that they have been extremely difficult to work with since the dispute began.

I am a regular visitor and shopper at my local Old Navy store which is just 2 minutes away from my house. I had a horrible experience during my last (yesterday) visit with store manager, yes it is correct - STORE MANAGER, not store employee..here it goes....After my shopping I went to pay at the register and I asked for different color of dress which was not available in that particular store. First of all they don't suggest me other option but I am a regular shopper here so I know how things work here. I asked them to order me same dress in different color...the cashier was unable to help me so here comes so called "Manager" of the store. During the whole process he threw so much attitude on me and my husband that I decided to cancel the online order so to my surprise the manager threw my husband's debit card on the counter and said I can leave if you have problem with him and he literally left the place...we were right in the middle of paying for other dresses and he pulled 3 cashiers from the cash register to trouble us and make us wait even more.

I waited to pay for my dresses and the second I left all those 3 cashier who were not at the register before, came and started taking other customer. Is this for real?? How can he pull the cashiers away from register in the middle of my paying and a very busy store...is this how a manager show act with customers?? I am sure with this manager of yours present in the store, you guys have lost a very loyal customer. I WILL NEVER VISIT OLD NAVY AGAIN...thanks to your manager for the horrible, unforgettable and shaming incident. PS -The name of the store manager was Jamal.

Let me first start off by saying that I am an avid shopper of Old Navy, Gap, etc. and shop there for every occasion for most holidays and birthdays. Today, as I was in the Freehold, NJ store buying clothes for my little cousin, we saw a jacket that had a sign above it, "Outerwear 50% off". When we brought it up to the register, we saw that it was not on sale. The cashier told the manager and the manager said the sign was not supposed to be there, and was extremely nasty. We proceeded to say that since the sign is there, we should be given the discount. If you have a sign saying it's 50% off, it should be 50% off. It's not our fault your staff did not take it down from the day before. We should have been given the discount that clearly said it was on sale. Well, the manager refused. Any other store I've ever been in has honored the price that is shown. What horrible customer service!!!!

All within the same week, we had another incident with Old Navy, this time it was in Staten Island, NY. My 83-year-old grandmother was in the store with my aunt buying gift cards for Christmas. She was using her debit card so was asked to give ID. She doesn't drive, so she gave her Access-a-ride card which has her name as "Faye" and on her debit card it reads "Fay". The manager threw everything down on the counter, basically at her and with anger said "we cannot accept this." How dare the "manager" throw anything at a customer, let alone my elderly grandmother. She could have simply said "I'm sorry, we cannot accept this" and asked her for more ID. I am so disgusted with the customer service in TWO stores within one week. I will definitely not be purchasing anything further with this company. You need to hire people that know how to deal with people and should be given extensive training on how to give customer service.

I have not previously been a dedicated consumer of Old Navy. I always thought the quality seemed lacking and nothing is quite tailored enough for my taste, just the same I see the price works for the product. I recently visited Old Navy directly across from my home in Mount Prospect IL, the Randhurst location store number 03120 on three total occasions this past weekend. The first trip I went to find some outer wear as advertised for 30% off, as we are bracing for frigid temps in my area this week. When I walked in, the greeter told me there was a coupon for 20% off regular priced items, score! I purchased some polar fleece items, a pair of gloves and a scarf. Upon reaching the register, I am told the only a vest I chose would qualify for the original 30% discount, as the other outer items are considered "accessories".

Fine I still move forward with the transaction and wanted to use the 20% coupon for the other items I was given when I walked in the door. I was then told I could not use that coupon unless I used my Old Navy Credit Card. The greeter never said that. I did not have nor want another credit card, so I argued the greeter never said that and someone at the other register had the same argument. There was no rationalizing with these cashiers. However I had signed up for the "Old Navy e-mail rewards" while in the store. I received the welcome coupon in my e-mail just as I was attempting to pay, and told it would have to be toward a future purchase. I did not understand why and requested a clarification. I was not happy with the answer given by the cashier and asked for the manager. At 10:30 am on a Saturday, I waited nearly 15 minutes for a manager. When she finally arrived, she was unpleasant from the minute she stepped up.

Her stance was the coupon states "it may not be used on previous purchases". I had not paid yet, that made no sense I was still in the store. I was still in the store, at the register when the coupon they advertised in store came into my e-mail. We went back and forth until I finally said, "So you are telling me that if I walkout and come back in to purchase the same items you will honor the coupon?" She looked at me with a smirk and walked away. I watched her walk to the original cashier and say something. The cashier came back and asked for my coupon again. Oddest transaction I have ever encountered. The coupon took nearly 28 off my purchase. I received the coupon from Old Navy directly and entitled to use it. I am not sure what the issue was. Horrible experience 1.

I explained the issue to my husband and even though he was upset that the manager was so unprofessional, he was excited about the discount as he needed some items himself. We decided to bite the bullet and go back as the coupon was worth the hassle. My husband signed up received his coupon and we went shopping. This experience was fine less the extremely long line and lack of cashiers at 5 pm on Saturday night. Just the same we got what we needed and the coupon was accepted and saved us $30.

Now come Sunday, my husband informs me the pants he purchased were the wrong size. I had an issue with the scarf I purchased not being long enough. We went back Sunday and handled the return. The cashier was less than friendly and so not happy about working on Sunday as she mentioned on several occasions. Our total return was 22 and placed back on our card. Today is Wed, the return was done Sunday, but no credit has appeared on my card. I contact my bank and told they so not see any credit pending or processed. I go back to Old Navy, this morning and told they cannot help me. I am told to call 1-800-OLD-NAVY. I go to the parking lot and call the number only to find they gave me the online customer service number, this was after a 10 minutes hold time, only to be transferred to another department additional 10 min hold time. At this point I have lost all composure and then told the Old Navy policy for a credit return to my card is 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS!

I recently returned an item to Sears and Nordstrom (wedding gifts); worth way more than my $20 Old Navy Credit and it appeared back on my card the very next day. Why is Old Navy a huge corporation holding refunds for 7-10 business days? I lost it and let the person at their corporate office have it. She insisted it was not Old Navy but my bank that holds the funds. I checked back with my bank and they stated very clearly they cannot hold any funds. The merchant has not issued the credit, period. I believe my bank as the other merchants Sears and Nordstrom issued my refund immediately back to my card.

I am done giving Old Navy any business, for one the service is miserable, the quality is poor and now I know when I am not happy with a purchase it takes 7-10 business days to get MY money back? I am so sad this company is part of the GAP and Banana Republic, I love these brands but reconsidering giving them my business anymore. I know $20 is not a big deal for the refund but in three experiences I was just burned by this company. Service poor, coupon acceptance for their own coupon poor. The refund policy absolutely ridiculous. You would think I had written a check for the purchase.

Note to Old Navy catch up with the times and do not offer coupons you do not want customers to actually use. Also work on your lack of customer service and insane lines. LAST COMPLAINT YOUR GREETER IS HANDING OUT COUPONS FOR CREDIT CARD HOLDERS ONLY, SHE IS NOT EXPLAINING YOU MUST USE THE OLD NAVY CREDIT CARD TO RECEIVE THE DISCOUNT. POOR POOR EXPERIENCE FOR THE CONSUMER.

When I said I would not shop there again, she said she didn't care. After calling cust. Service a manager from the store said it showed wear & tear. Another lie. It was never worn or washed. Terrible place, I will never shop there again. That's how they treat disabled seniors. Also their policy says never a problem to return or exchange. Very rude & unprofessional!!!

I bought a skirt back in Old Navy showroom in Seattle. My aunt paid for it with her card later when we came back home we found a plastic tag still on in one of the items. We didn't understand why the beeper didn't go on. I was there for a vacation, while coming back to my place in Atlanta I tried getting it removed in the Old Navy store in perimeter mall area, there was this cashier and the manager who were giving me disapproving looks making it seem like I had stolen it. They asked for the credit card number and the receipt which by that time I had lost it during travel and the credit card wasn't with me so I couldn't help it.

I was on a call with my aunt trying to get her credit card number but somehow her credit card wasn't pulling the information. The manager was very rude as well as the cashier making it seem to me that they're doing a huge favor for me. It was totally disrespectful by the way they were handling my case. I'd have appreciated if they handled it respectfully and not making it seem my mistake. Old Navy has the worst customer services I've come across. I just know that I we had bought the item and the tag was still there then its their fault because of which I can't wear it anymore. I asked her to throw the dress away as it is anyways not going to be of any use to me if they don't remove it. For sure Old Navy has lost a customer today forever. Macy's you got more business coming from me.

Purchase made on 18 May 14 at Store 06039, Cashier ** - Once I got to the cashier, I requested to exchange 2 items that I bought online. First I was told that I couldn't do any exchanges or returns for purchases I made online. I called Old Navy and I was told that I could do it, so I went back to line. I was allowed to make a return, so I paid for the other items. I asked if I could get my military discount. The cashier asked the other cashier, who was right in front of him (only 2 cashiers), and he told him that Old Navy was no longer giving any military discount. So I explained him that I just called, and I was told that Old Navy did offer military discounts. He said what, I repeat, and he just turn around and ignored me.

I proceed to pay, and ask for the corporate office. Again my cashier asked the other one, and he just said we don't have it and started making faces and acting extremely disrespectful. I asked who was the manager and was the young lady next to them. She was there the whole time and didn't say anything. So when my cashier asked her about military discounts, she just said is on Monday. So I just said thank you and left. I felt completely disrespected. I had served for 18 1/2 years of Active Duty service, and I just wanted to know if I could get a discount. I made a purchase online and had a hard time in the store. I will never go back to that store.

Old Navy recently had 2 day shipping for free with a coupon code so I jumped on it. I ordered on a Friday & didn't get my things until the following Thursday. I've had issues before with shipping. I know it's free shipping for $50 & over for 7-10 days, but seriously two weeks to get my things? What the hell?

Got a card in Oct. paid in November. Then they claimed a late charge and kept adding charges to over 100 dollars with no charges being made. I will not shop with them and would not advise anyone to get a credit card.

I had made a payment on my Old Navy card of $216.00 and noticed on my bank account for several days the payment was never taken out. I have always had trouble before with this so since it had been so long, I made another payment for $216.00 and the next day, I saw on my bank account that there was 2 payments of $216.00 taken out so I called Old Navy (which I thought they could have figured out on their own not to take 2 payments out). I told the phone center employee the problem she was rude from the start of the call because she knew I would be upset. I suspect this happens a lot and told me I would get a check in 7-10 business day. They were able to take the money out of my account in one day but can't get the refund to me until 7 to 10 business days so I cancelled my account. She told me I may not be able to get another account with Old Navy. I said I know I will never want an account with Old Navy. They also add 35-dollar charge if you are ONE day late on a payment. I should get 35 dollars for their 7 to 10 business days. I will never shop at Old Navy again.

If you use a debit card for a purchase, Old Navy puts through the hold on your account immediately. Then, as it ships the merchandise, it charges you. Again. So if you've spent $100, you will have a total of $200 deducted from your account for a few days. (And, hey, I'm sure you're shopping at Old Navy because you're independently wealthy and unconcerned about your cash flow.) The company is completely unconcerned and says things like "oh, it will drop off in three or four business days" (translation, we get to keep your money for a week). Not concerned about changing the policy, which is technically illegal.

12/23/13 @ 1:22 p.m. In Orland Park, IL, I checked out at register with red hair cashier. She didn't give all our bags back, plus other items she didn't ring up. When we got home, we realize bags were missing. Contact ** (SAME DAY). AFTER TAKING MY INFORMATION, SHE KNEW THAT DRIVING BACK WAS FAR TOO LONG TO PICK UP BAG. She looked at video. 2 Thermal striped shirts (Red and Blue), Surplus militia Tan top, were missing. These were the 1st items ringed up. There was a white and tan off the shoulder top (XXL) and another t-shirt not ranged. ** said she will send items and discounts coupon. It will be after Xmas and she was sorry that can't make up for it. She thanked me for not being totally angry. (This was holiday seasons and I worked in retail and being angry gets you nowhere.)

When we receive items, the surplus militia top was missing. Contacted **. She said all the items were gone. That's hard to believe. She said she will refund me and send discount. Got refunded and not discounts. Contacted ** (** gave me her name) and she said ** would be in at 1pm and they would call back. Never received call. Never received coupons, which I went back to the Old Navy by where we live and wanted to buy a lot and realized that I still hadn't received coupons for my inconveniences. My gifts were not able to be given for Christmas and still had to go and buy something else for the missing items that I still didn't receive. If there is a bag behind the counter, where did it go and why was items missing out of it? Need I remind Orland Park that I paid over $100 for items. Maybe they need to take money first and then bag clothes to prevent this.

NEVER, EVER SHOP AT OLD NAVY! On 12-23-13, I fell in the store, directly in front of cashiers. Not one person from the store came to assist, offered help, or even offered an accident report. I asked for an accident report. The manager took my contact info and stated that someone would call me. The fall was serious enough to require dr. visit and use of leg brace. Follow-up tests are still to come. Since no one ever called, I called the store to advise them of dr. visit, they replied that they had lost my contact information, indicating that they never intended to file a report. After many 'documented' attempts to contact a company rep, I am finally told that they are not responsible and offer me a $50 gift card to sign a release form. If they are not responsible, then why do they need a release? I will continue to complete customer surveys EVERYWHERE possible for a company that has NO customer care!

I closed my account out over the phone and they sent me my last bill of $37.45 and month later they sent me another bill for the same amount and a late fee. I called my bank up to see when the check was cashed and it was cashed on time, but Old Navy claims that they didn't get it on time and now it's been months and now they claim that I owe them over $400.

These people harass me on a daily basis and I've called numerous times and try to straighten it out, but they refuse to cooperate. They've hung up on me, I've been on hold over forty minutes, customer service refuses to give me to a supervisor; only a manager, and now my good credit is no longer. This is why there are class-action suits because this is fraud and it shouldn't and won't be tolerated. I don't care if you’re a small business or a large business, consumers aren't going to tolerate injustice.

I applied for the Old Navy card back in March of 2013 and was approved with a credit limit pf $300.00. That was okay and after the first few months of the card, I did not charge much and what I did charge I paid in full but I made sure that my payments were paid on time. I would pre-schedule them online before the 15th of the month and finally after having the card for 7 months still not with a a high balance and available credit after making my payment for October 15, a week later, my account was lowered by $100.00. I just happen to be in an Old Navy to buy my daughter something and it came to $46.00 and when I swiped my card, I was told that the purchase was declined and I was, "What, I know I had available credit on the card," because I really had not used it. So I called the number on the back of the card and then I was told that my credit limit had been decreased so basically customer service was no help. They could not tell me why my limit had been lowered so they told me, "They will send you a letter in 5-7 days."

I finally paid off my Old navy card after raising 5 kids. Always made payments on time. Well 3 months after I paid it off I received a letter stating they were going to cancel my card. So basically making sure my payment was made on time for years and then not using it resulted in damaging my credit. I have over 51 friends that have quit going to Old Navy because of what has happened to them also. I think we need to start a facebook page that has an 1,000,000 mark

I had purchased items online and unfortunately the items did not fit. Per the Return/Exchange policy on my receipt, I went to a nearby store to do the exchange. I was informed by the cashier that I would have to return and then repurchase the items. Why does ON have such a ridiculous return policy? I have the required documentation for a return or exchange but they still make it extremely difficult. I was later told by a manager that there was a 'loop hole' which would have allowed me to do an exchange without having to return and repurchase.

Why aren't all ON employees trained in the same manner? This is a fairly successful company I'm assuming, but their policies are outdated and unaccommodating to consumers. My daughter is extremely picky about the fit of her jeans, and unfortunately ON is one of the few companies she likes. However, I would rather 'bite the bullet' and pay the extra monies towards Abercrombie Kids clothing. Their policies are more generous for consumers.
