I paid for the trial service, completely assuming I would not get much out of this. I was okay with losing a dollar. I looked myself up to see how accurate this site is. Wrong address, and everything attached to me. I decided to look someone else thinking this might work, and decided to pay for the premium for it. They ended up charging me TWICE, and neither times loaded. I am furious and I want my money back.

The thing I cannot usually find is cell phones. Sometimes I know the person has moved, but the new address is unknown. Some people don't exist, even though I can find them on the local jail booking sheet. Batting 50-50 on finding information.

I liked dealing with Instant Checkmate. Although I frequently received requests to upgrade my account so I can get Premium Service, the information I got on the person I was checking was sufficient. This was the first time I had to use a site like this but it was worth it. It saved me from getting involved with a woman who could have easily ruined my life...

I fell for signing up for this service just to see how accurately they would report public records. They are way off. They reported inaccurate affiliated spellings of my name, wrong birth sign, phone numbers that did NOT belong to me, 3 criminal/traffic violations that had nothing to do with me, and no marriage or divorce records. I sure hope no one that ever truly needs to do a credible background check on me ever uses this service. What a waste of money!

I was referred to Pipl Search a free service by a feed I subscribe to. I'm not sure how I ended up at Instant... but I reluctantly agreed to an introductory offer costing $1.99, which became $19.99. This I did agree to - I'm not sure why but I did. However my account was charged $29 and then again $29. This was bad enough but the info provided is sparse. And guess what, it's not their fault they don't have any responsibility for what they provide. Only for what they charge you for what they aren't responsible for. Additionally they claim you can get the reports downloaded in pdf form but it doesn't work and you are prevented from using any other means such as Google Drive or Pocket or Evernote. This site is scam.

The initial charge of $20+ provides information that any Google search would reveal for free. Any additional information is an additional $20. I stopped there because there are too many scams out there that continue to charge you fees then more fees without providing any information. Beware and expect to pay $50 or more, any site that is not upfront with their fees I would not recommend and this is one of them.

Generally there is very little information unless you want to pay for premium services. Pretty much a big waste of money.

I was slightly upset that I could not get information for the price I paid. I felt that an additional $20.00 would be required was outrageous. Also, I already have PDF on my computer for reports and any other thing I have always looked up. Why do I have to pay you $1.99 for something I already have? Again, not satisfied. The information you did provide I could have gotten from another source for a one week trial of $4.95. Your information is not really current, nor did it contain many people I was trying to locate. People that are in their later years. There should at least be address records, they have land lines. I guess I just couldn't get that info that is unless I have to pay the additional fee to get current information. I ordered your service today and called to cancel it a few hours later. To make me happy you could refund my $29.85.

I can find most of whom I'm looking for, except for my biological parents... When I looked up my mother's name using the state and age, I still got a ton from everywhere else too. That is my only complaint besides not finding a lot of numbers.

I have checked several numbers including mine and my friends and every single one has errors. Mine didn't even have my name right! I have been getting calls from people I don't know and this site can't get one of those right. I have been looking up numbers tonight and you can't find them. I enjoy company sometimes these have numbers so I wanted to find out if they are real or is it a setup!! I paid for 6 months and am about to cancel, so far haven't gotten a penny's worth!

I found the link to Instant Checkmate via How-to Geek when looking for anti-virus information. It was recommended as an excellent website for checking for background information on people. It was easy to enter a name and request a report. When the report was completed - prior to getting the information you agree to terms, then select what membership package you will purchase before you can review the report. I had so much difficulty in completing the required information - that I had to open a live Chat. I was finally able to sign the agreement, enter my CC info and continue to try and get the report. I chose to view it via PDF file. That was an extra $1.99. I clicked and had technical difficulties, tried again - didn't work, so I cancelled that option and chose to read the report online.
After several attempts to try and read the report without a pop up dialogue box constantly appearing constantly - I closed the site and rebooted the computer. In the interim my CC fraud unit texted me asking if I made these several CC charges that appeared on my credit card. After getting that cleared up, I opened the website again and tried scrolling for the report information. The information was no more than you get from any people search: Name, address, telephone number etc. You then have an option to get Premier information for another $19.99. I tried that twice - more pop up dialog boxes with Continue. Constant looping without moving forward.
Another call from my CC fraud unit, as I was charged $1.99 twice in a row. This time they gave me the customer service number at Instant Checkmate and I called. The agent was extremely nice and very helpful. Bottom line: Never got any information beyond the type you get from people search and I cancelled my membership.

I utilized this service in an effort to verify my address history for the past 7 years. Unfortunately the public records this service searches did not contain the details I required; fortunately I had only utilized the 1 dollar 5 day trial (accessible by attempting to close the page after getting to the payment info/plan selection form) and the 1.99 pdf download add-on (offered after selecting a service plan, but before viewing the actual report). When I contacted the customer service to cancel the account to prevent the automatic billing of their monthly fee at the end of the trial period, I also requested that they cancel the PDF download administrative fee as I had not utilized that service at all.
Overall, although the service did not meet my needs, this could provide valuable information in the right circumstances, and the combination of the low-cost of the trial service and the customer service policies makes it a very low-no risk service to try to see if it will have what you need.

I went to instant checkmate because my 22 yr old male neighbor kicked in my door and beat me up. Local police are no help. I have filed or called 911 about 12 times since the first assault happened. His mom, dad, 2 sisters and grandma has harassed, threatened my life leaving messages on my daughter's phone and my dad's. Police will not give me the reports I need them. And the hidden price for more info and most is wrong. I PD for that on myself and is wrong and bull. I even called because I could not log on most of my month and was told too bad but she could tell that I was not on. I am poor with no locking doors. Need help and got none from this. I might go as far to say you scam money with false hope.

Well as I was saying when I paid the 10.71 to see all you said I would, I was a bit pissed off when NATURALLY you want more money. You should be more forthcoming with your customers. They may stay longer. I know I am cancelling my deal because all the graphic news. I didn't get what I was told I was paying for. So you should redo your sales lies and be honest. What scam. Don't waste your money. Repeated "But wait! We'll lower the price" as you click off the page. The only information I garnered about myself is 3 phone numbers that I haven't had in nine years, my work fax number, (yippie) as well as past addresses - that I have not had in years. Additionally I was given information on someone else with my same name, 10 years younger on the other side of the country.. Erm.. no.. That's not me.

I did not order the full report, but it would make me question any report. Yes, they do post a disclaimer, but once inaccurate information gets into an agency, it gets passed onto other agencies.

I only signed up for this website because it advertised itself on MSN.com as FREE. I got all the way through until it stated I would have to pay to receive information so I stopped and did not go any further, BUT the website already had my e-mail address and name. Since then I have received HUNDREDS of JUNK E-MAILS DAILY from various fake websites/people and there's no way to stop them unless I change my e-mail address. I would not recommend this website to ANYONE!

I ordered this to look up a particular person. I ordered the premium, which never downloaded on my computer. I called and they refunded me the money for the upgrade, but I still can't open the file or find it. Now when I put in the name lonnie ** (Ca) what comes up is a page that just keeps saying looking data for hourssssssssss. All I want is that one person. I've called again and they said it may be because he opted to have his information left out. But when I also did that no page opens and keeps saying downloading or checking for or looking for or anything. I am very upset.

Got charged the full $30, even though I only signed up for the $1 trial (they even charged me more than the $1 initially). Refund is nowhere in sight. Please, just avoid this scam.

I was disappointed in information for 24.95. Most was accurate. However, to get all information indicated initially, I had to spend another $19.99, which seemed deceptive. Charge one fee upfront, period. Don't string people along.

In general I like your program very much and it gives more information than other programs I have used for previous reunions. Not in order. I don't need much of the basic info but would really like to get email addresses - I am just collecting contact information for classmates but I do occasionally look at relatives to verify I have the correct person or to find a spouse' name. Your site wording led me to believe that for $19.95 my account would be upgraded to give me emails - not just for the current one. You tend to leave off some address data like apartment numbers and street directions like N Main vs S Main. Your desktop option is a nice idea but hard to use as the direction and order of the list changes every time you touch anything. Your selection list for states is not in alphabetical order. When I have to make several tries to find one person, I wish the input line didn't always clear.
Occasionally when I tried entering a new name, the first section would refuse new input and kept changing back to another first name out of the history list. I think the rest of my annoyance is due to information that is unavailable or wrong with whoever or whatever supplies it to you - not your fault. Thank you for a great utility that is new to me.

Do a search for "instantcheckmate scam" before you visit their website. I wish I had, it would have saved me time. The sign-up process takes a really long time and there is no option for you to keep your email private or to opt out of receiving SPAM from them and the affiliates they sell your email address to. You can also find many people who have had issues of being overcharged and recurring charges on their credit cards, so keep in mind giving this company your credit card information is just asking for a bunch of headaches and hassles. Maybe after calling customer service multiple times and much teeth gnashing they might decide to issue you a credit. But probably only if they think you could win if you brought a lawsuit to court. My advice is to do some research and stay away.

When I looked up my personal information it was so inaccurate I would not have recognized myself if I had not been the one to pull it up. Others, that I know, have criminal records, they do not show up. The address information does not make clear which is oldest to most current. Basically, it is useless information that I could have gotten free from Yahoo White Pages.

I am not getting any important Information! I paid $22.89 to get information as advertised but not getting it. It sounds so totally complete: $1 for a 5 day trial for tons of information. I wanted to view my own records so went along with the search for a 5 day trial. All was fine up until the point where you have to pay $1.99 for the pdf copy of your report. Okay, no choice so I agreed and looked at my report. But when you want the real meat and potatoes of it, you have to pay for a "premium" report. I did not and will not go for that. I just got ripped for $2.99 and almost an hour of time! Don't go for it folks...It's dishonest!

I chose to do a check on myself and once the lengthy 5 minute show was over I was then advised to pay the $20+ monthly membership premium. I then reviewed the information and halfway down the page was sported for another $19 fee to see the gritty information... and a while more down the page found it was necessary to pay an additional fee. I found the information on myself was outdated, inaccurate, and sketchy. I still have not received a receipt or confirmation of payment via email from this site. I am very disappointed that I wasted more than 30 minutes and $27 on this site and am considering calling my bank to prevent any additional charges and change my credit card numbers since this site clearly appears to be a fraud.

Confusing sign up process - premium service is not what you pay for services for one month service. You get charged an additional $19.99 per report for premium service. The service you get for the monthly fee is the same information you can get from a google search and most of the information is inaccurate anyway - mixed in with some accurate information. And there is an additional charge to download the information you just paid to get (twice!). I called and customer service was very nice, but stuck to the fees. Agreed to cancel for next month because when you purchase one month service they really mean one month at a time and they will continue to hit up your card month after month unless you do cancel.

My newborn granddaughter was recently placed in the hands of a 2-time felon. Unable to afford a lawyer I thought it would be worth the money if I could find what I needed to fight this. The information was lacking even the fact she had been in prison twice. All the phone numbers and addresses were dated. They did find her ex-husband but had no information showing he's in prison. I paid for premium but got less than basic. I paid for pdf and was unable to get this either. I'm so disappointed and hoping to get a refund of my money.

They charge you for a service, don't provide the complete service. With the partial service they say you can have the complete service if you upgrade to Premium Service. By that time you're already out your initial fee that you cannot get back.

Navigating is a little cumbersome, but can be accomplished with lots of concentration. Basic info is good and probably useful. Listing locations in sequence by date would be a great improvement, because a primary use of your site is probably to locate a current address. In this instance, I was looking for (and you found) a high school classmate of mine and my wife's who continued to be a friend while she still lived in Memphis, TN. The references to sex offenders are probably useful to youngish customers checking on neighbors, but you might consider asking whether a customer has an interest in that info before spending connect time searching for it - for example, I had no interest in sex offender info (both we and the subject are in our late 70s).

I am not pleased at all with this site. I could find any of the information that you provided (and more) on Google for free. While it was my poor decision to purchase your product, I see that I also have a credit authorization of $19.99 for premium data which I DID NOT request, and I expect this to be released from my credit card immediately. There was nothing in the popup that indicated I would be charged for this, and I DID NOT authorize the charge of $19.99.
I have already reported this fraud to Capital One and will take any additional route necessary to have this fraudulent charge removed, and will contact the Better Business Bureau if necessary. I cannot believe that MSN referred me to this site. I have contacted them as well, and am so disgusted that I have changed my homepage and will no longer read their news... Your company is a complete ripoff.

I purchased this to look for a old friend. The information is completely inaccurate. All the info I could find online. I also called when I purchased this and spoke with a Latisha and was told I would get a refund. When the email came I clicked on a button that I thought would take me to the page but it was to purchase a $1.99 pdf which I did not want. She told me she would refund the amount along with the $14.84 because I was unhappy and that was on 8/18/15 and I am still waiting for the refund. My only concerns thus far are that I haven't been able to successfully download in PDF format yet, but your service department said they are working on the problem currently. The only other thing was that when I pulled my own report it only showed residences for the past 17 years, whereas on other search services I received results going back as far as 30 years.

I have been very happy with the results. I am part of my high school reunion committee and I'm responsible to verify addresses. I have found that some of my classmates have moved in the last 5 years and most have remained the same. I have also encountered a good handful who have passed away. If I have any complaints at all, it would be that I haven't been able to print a pdf report, even though I've reported it twice and I have now been temporarily suspended twice, due to my searching. Other than that, I'm happy.

As test cases before embarking on the search that prompted this membership, I searched for my husband, my children and myself. The information was highly inaccurate and in my own case suggested a completely non-existent criminal history. Three of us have an active presence on Facebook. That did not show up. As a matter of fact, one of the three did not show up at all. However, many pictures of other people did show up. You did manage to display my personal Amazon Wish List - which is nobody else's business. There is a multitude of extraneous items that are irrelevant and to get any really important information, I would have to pay an additional $20 for each search. The constant reminders that I am not really getting all the available information and the hints that more important information is being withheld are annoying.
I paid for pdfs and asked that they be downloaded. Where are they? I never received a single one. I think your service is highly over-rated. I paid almost $50 for it including one "upgraded" report, just to see what it would show. It shows that I wasted my money. This will be my one and ONLY month as a member. And I regret it, because had I known how inaccurate you are, I would never have paid a penny. I have had better results from Google searches.

Multiple times I have had difficulty downloading the PDF version. Received an error message. Emailed the problem and only once was it taken care of and that was when I called and spoke with a rep on the phone. As this problem continues I will be having to cancel my membership.

Didn't see that much but, to be fair I didn't go for premium. There are 3 Robert ** mixed up. Robert Arthur ** might be Robert **'s brother by his father and a woman in southern Iowa that his fathers family suspects but doesn't know for sure. They look very similar but not sure, like I said. I wish there were more info here because I know an arrest of Robert ** in late 90's or 2000 that isn't here.

NO-thing is free. Your prices are exorbitant. The info you provided me was Nil, Nada. 1 result. Pay, Pay, Pay for more information. Maybe you should develop a sliding scale, for people that want to see their own information, versus what a corporation could afford to pay. Also there seem to be number of really bad guys that share my name... YOUR VERY SITE Could be the reason I have lost out on jobs, because I have been confused with people in states I have never even been in. Alas. WHY isn't there a section to put in my social security number. Wouldn't this save confusion and prevent a company from making mistakes about my person?

I wanted to see what info that had on me so I started the process but when it came to submitting my payment info I stopped. I get that everything cost money but I will pass when it comes to paying to see my own info. Anyway after that I starting receiving 50+ spam A DAY in my email acct, which was so annoying. I ended up deleting my email acct which involved updating my new email address on LEGITIMATE websites that I use. If I had given them my payment info I'd probably have fraud on my bank acct now.

The Information received on your site is better than most other similar sites with exact dates of birth, death, etc. However, the site is slow and difficult to even place in the names and other information. In fact, I am currently working on placing a name of an individual (Christopher **, Leesville, SC) since yesterday, and your site does show his name, address, and date of birth, but will never complete the loading process.

Was extremely disappointed at level of information available after reading all the hype and paying the appropriate fees. Instant Checkmate should have stated up front that court type and financial documents/information was not available with standard user fee. Public info is seriously deficient. People I searched were divorced over 10 years ago and no record of divorce or remarriage. Public records in total are nonexistent even on upgrade with the extra money. Highly don't recommend. Must be better services. This is slightly better than white pages. Save your $$$.

Be very careful if you use Instant Checkmate's services. I thought I was signed up for a one-time monthly access for $14.65, and, instead, without my consent or KNOWLEDGE, they set me up for a recurring monthly charge. Fortunately, I used PayPal, and PayPal sent me an email informing me of this, so I was able to cancel it. In my opinion Instant Checkmate is a very unethical company.

I signed up for $15.66 unlimited reports per month. Information was unclear. You search for a specific 43 y.o. person in a specific state, I got info for 23 year old across the country mixed in. Worse, they immediately start hitting you up for "Premium Upgrades" to get any useful information. I called "Shaquira" in customer service within 10 mins, said I was very unhappy with the "bait and switch" and she said "too bad, you downloaded one report, you're stuck for the month." I said I want to cancel, she said I'd get a cancellation "within 24 hours". Don't hold my breath. :( Total b.s. scam, not upfront with actual pricing and info, even charged $1.99 to "download the report". LOL.

Michael ** was born 12/11/1977. The birth date listed on report belongs to his father. The name Michael ** listed as alias is also his father and I doubt if Michael ** has ever used that. I had tried this site and didn't not get the information I was looking for. I had chosen the person I wanted to view and the site pulled multiple people with the same name. The information was very limited for the amount of money I paid. I had filed a complaint and the company was apologetic and offered me a full refund. I believe they stand behind their product and also want customers to be satisfied.

The home page offered several levels of membership, one month (Recommended), more time and even more time with more searches. At that page the depth of the data revealed was not in tiers as complete or incomplete, with or without criminal records or such. So, I paid the $8.99 and searched a name, and after paying the initial fee, then there was an additional $1.99 if I wanted to actually print out or download the info.
Then after being pissed, I agreed. Then the real screw was if I wanted the rest of the info that was advertised as part of what I paid, that was going to cost me an additional $19.99 or more than twice what I agreed to in beginning, and twice what I was already into now. But the tag below said "Small upgrade fee". This is bait & switch, plain and simple. In addition to that, this additional "Small upgrade fee" it stated "no other charges will be made for this service." "This service" I now think is just the download fee but more charges will be required to get what I was sold initially for the $8.99.

This service claims that for $15.66/mo it will deliver unlimited access to personal, criminal, social, etc...identity background information on anyone. It warns that what you are about to view "may be shocking" etc. Very little CORRECT info listed: aliases; the last 5 yrs of address; 4 out of a dozen relatives in immediate area. Birth date; and - prepare to be shocked! - SUN SIGN traits!?! A whole lot of: "Sorry! None found. No pictures. No social Media. No work history." All of which they promise to provide. (With everything on Facebook and job search sites? Really?)
Most or all police and other publicly available files are missing. THEN they claim to have "PREMIUM" records, Which they will reveal for $20. Again warning it may be shocking and again (in smaller print) may be inaccurate and incomplete due to agency errors and the limitations of their search abilities. There's no way I would make a 2nd purchase from these jokers! I will be asking for full refund. Wish I could get a refund on my time wasted.

You said in your ad that unlike other search products there were no hidden charges but I feel ripped off. You lead me to believe that I was going to get all of this info for one of the initial 3 price options available, but after signing up for one of them I was only able to recover 18% of the info available without signing up for a premium service at an extra cost and then another $1.99 to be able to store the data in pdf format. I will be cancelling at the end of my subscription before it automatically renews.

I know this person has several social media sites not shown on this report. I paid for this premium report to see if it would give me the information and it didn't show these as it should have. I could have gotten this info. from Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. and those subscribed media sites don't even show up. Phone isn't accurate, not very dependable at all.

So, to start out I would like begin by saying that this product is great. It can get a general basis for who you might be looking for with almost accurate information. I would like to see less "Upgrade this for that" type stuff. I get the initial fee's starting out and maybe having a gold, silver, and platinum plane is not a bad idea. But, do I really need a $1.47 upgrade fee for the availability to see the report from my phone? Especially since it crashes on my phone 10 times out of 10. IN FACT I found the website from a link I was looking at FROM MY PHONE and even after the $11.00 fee, the two 1.47 fees, I still could get the page to load or quit reloading for that matter. It's not my service or my phone. So maybe your IT guys should look into that. Now I have only bought the service for 1 month trial, so to speak. I may continue to use the service even after that if these problems are fixed. But we shall see. Hope this helps.

So the site says it can give me the most up to date information on a person. So I use it and once the report is ready, it can't even tell that it's the person I am looking for, only that they offer most likely matches. So I paid over $20.00 for a background check on someone who might not be the person mention in the report. Nowhere near what the site said it offers, it was more concerned with social media and sex offenders to tell me what I needed to know. And now I am out the money, I hate wasting money, I hate even more when something is not delivered. When I called in to cancel and get my money back I was only told politely that I would be helped with that but no refund. Worst company. I will not only not recommend them, I will jump into other people's conversations if I overhear them talking about Instant Checkmate and tell them what a horrible lying service it is and to save their money and get a real report ran.

A lot of data is incomplete; data in re: criminal arrests is often incorrect. Purchasing premium has proven to be futile on more than one occasion. I previously had an account with Instant Checkmate and canceled for that reason.

The person on the phone the 1st time I called did not do her job when I asked to cancel. The girl said she could not refund my money and I had to wait 2 weeks. My second call was successful, transaction was taken care of. They are not giving you what you pay for. They keep adding all these charges (1.99 here, 199 there) for every little thing. Did not like this at all.

Instant Checkmate employs classic BAIT & SWITCH tactics, as well UDAP (Unfair and Deceptive Practices), in how it conducts its business. Instant Checkmate reels one in with an offering of unlimited, comprehensive, detailed background checks for individuals from numerous sources (private and government) for a supposed one-time charge. When one goes to pay, one cannot get a one-time charge, but instead a recurring monthly charge which, according to some testimonials, one CANNOT CANCEL. What one gets instead is a teaser message that insults the intelligence of the "member" who has just forked over money for nothing. It basically says, "The promised information (BAIT) you thought you'd be getting is NOT AVAILABLE in REGULAR reports, but (SWITCH) may be in PREMIUM REPORTS which require additional payment."
While viewing what passes for "reports," one gets AGGRESSIVE POP-UPS for these PREMIUM REPORTS that interfere with viewing said "regular" reports. These aggressive, recurring pop-ups cannot be cancelled, deleted or minimized since it appears their X is disabled. One has to REFRESH the page to temporarily REMOVE them but these aggressive pop-ups return with a vengeance.
When, as a paying "member" one seeks online HELP, that function also seems disabled. That is more than a technical failure. Hear this, Instant Checkmate, I will CANCEL my 5 day trial (which I got for $1 when you fought to keep me as a customer) within the 5 days of my "trial" membership. IF you block cancellation I will seek to form a CLASS ACTION and ask for $1,000/day as punitive damages for each day you have not honored cancellation.
Instant Checkmate seems to give some people what they want, or so the testimonials seem to indicate, but to get my TRUST, Instant Checkmate, you have NOT earned it with your DECEPTIONS and UNFAIR BUSINESS PRACTICES. LAWYERS: PLEASE INCLUDE ME IN ANY CLASS ACTION contemplated for Instant Checkmate. I signed up for a one-month membership thinking I would actually get a complete criminal record for an individual. But that is available only if you pay an additional $19.99 for EVERY PERSON you request one for. That may have been written somewhere in the small print, but I feel like I was scammed. I would not recommend this product to anyone. I requested data on a known convicted murderer, and Instant Checkmate returned ZERO criminal history. I just hope I won't have any problem canceling when my one-month period is over.

Upon purchasing a "one time report" Instant Checkmate continuously charged my checking account for the past 18 months at $22.86 per month. They never sent any acknowledgement of this membership account or the ongoing charges. They say they were unable to send their standard welcome email with their terms and conditions because I entered my email address incorrectly on the sign up page. They also acknowledged that I only received the one report on the day I signed up, so clearly this was never meant to be any ongoing membership.. I strongly discourage anyone from doing business with this company due to their unethical business practices with bait and switch tactics to trap subscribers into memberships!!

I opened a quick account on the 6th of August 2015. I paid $1.00 for one week's account. On the 9th of August I cancelled the account online. I followed it up 2 days later with a phone call. The woman assured me the account had been cancelled. The 13th, I discovered I had been charged 29.63 on the 11th. This was before my initial week was even up. I called customer service/billing and was told that the account did not show that I had ever called! He said it would mark my account if I had called. We both became a little angry. After much arguing he said it would be refunded. We will see.

This is no help. I turned to this site because I'm in a situation where I have to look up people with very questionable backgrounds for my safety in all sense of the word. Especially since the local police department and city employees and officials are part of the problem. Well, it seems to me or better yet, it was very clear they have more access to me than me to them which brings my security to zilch comparing to them because mine comes with a high fee to their reports of $19.99 each while them to mine will be $0.00.

I appreciate your company thinks that it is entitled to bill me because I clicked "I agree," but I followed your instructions. Called in and cancelled in Nov. of 2014 after I discovered 6 months of recurring charges. I reported it as fraud with Capital One and even cancelled my Credit Card to be sure. You created a 2nd account for me and went around Capital One to MasterCard directly in order to get my new credit card info and have been billing me for the past 17 months under a phantom account? Furthermore, the charges don't come in regularly so it is more difficult to detect, ie. June 11, skip July, August 11, etc. Your business is a racketeering scam and not only have I reported you again to the fraud department at Capital One, my local Congress rep's office is now getting involved. I offered your company the opportunity to refund me in full and you chose to deal with the Federal Government instead. Good luck!

I really like the detail of this report, however there are information that is missing such as military time, combat service, work, marriage and divorce, and places I have live and not lived. Plus no way or direction on how to correct it. If you had that this would be a golden services. Still a great start. Plus you did hidden charges of PDFs and premium report. When you advertise the opposite, little misleading.

I used Instant Checkmate to check into backgrounds on a family member to see what information was available to the public for this person. Not only did I not even find who I was looking for (which was weird) but Instant Checkmate advertised and told me I would only be charged for a total of $2.99 for the service, and they charged me without notice a few days later for $29.63. When I called to cancel my account and assert that I did not know I would be charged for this amount and that I didn't use the service enough to justify the charge, the customer service representative just hurried me off the phone and have no good excuse. I told him it was a little sketchy of the company and doing that to people is bad form. So beware, this company will charge you "on the down low" for no reason and give you service that falls short of your expectations.

Would like to see mother, father, sibling names; maiden name. If you knew a address from 1960 but lost track of individual over the years. Anything similar to this that would help you in finding the person we are looking for. I was at my 50th high school reunion and we brought up a girl whose picture was in the yearbook but she did not graduate with us due to the fact her father's job had changed and she moved up state, and all of us lost contact with her. We would like to ask her to the next reunion or at least find out what happened to her. When she attended our school she was popular. I am kind of annoyed, not angry, but I know the absolute full name of a person who I wanted to know his criminal past. I know he has one as he told me about himself, and tried to hurt me last night. Thus I wanted to know what exactly he is on the books for, and went to find out. Guess this site is a CRAPPY site to research criminal past as it couldn't pull up what I so horribly need and this is a matter of life or death -- how useless! I enter a full name, middle initial and full middle name even, address -- EVERYTHING -- still cannot get the details. A REALLY BAD SITE: Instant Checkmate. Don't even bother, just go to a better one which I am researching now. I hate bad sites.

I ran 2 reports on a friends who have both been arrested and gone to prison (more than once!!) and nothing showed up. Social media links weren't accurate but just if I just searched Google, the right links would show up right away. Overall, that was a complete waste of money! I wouldn't trust the site on having reliable criminal history information.

The website doesn't give what it says it would. For example it says on the ad that I would get Social Media information, and I didn't get not even one. Plus there is no place that we could say anything. I have been use the "found a bug" to say that the report is wrong but it doesn't work either. The member care doesn't have the assistance as well. My understanding is that I came to the wrong place because I was misled by the advertise. What a shame!

First, you get all these data summaries like you are going to get all the information once you've paid the subscription price. Then you actually do a search and all you get is the same information you could do via the White Pages or general public record searches through any city in the US. The information you do get is outdated and often wrong. Do a search on yourself or someone you know closely and you will see how inaccurate it is. Then they have the audacity to say "get premium upgrade" for more content for $19.99. You're kidding me, right!
And if you are dumb enough to pay for that it's only a one page report. It's not like you get the "premium" information for each search after that, you'd have to pay for it each time. I am considering asking for a charge back to my CC. Because I believe their practices are deceptive and unethical. The most important thing to get out of my experience is to NOT BUY OR USE THIS SERVICE!! I do not know how many shills this company must have hired to get the rating they have, but if you buy this, then you are a sucker just like me.

If you think you are going to get any real information for your $11.85 you are wrong. They claim it is not their fault that they are just passing a cost through but any real information will cost you an additional $19.99. I personally think this is a real case of nickel and diming because they were not honest upfront about the true cost of detailed reports. Oh, and this $19.99 is per report. Additionally, if it turns out that there is no additional information they will not refund your money. Their tech support is probably the best thing about this operation. They are open 24/7 and are very helpful. All in all the old adage applies... Let the buyer be aware. ICM does not give receipts, only congrats emails.

Interested by the advert on Facebook, I entered the site to see what it could dig up about me. After entering my basic information and waiting past 30+ loading screens and agreeing to various terms about discretion and warnings (Easily occupying 20 minutes of my time), the website prompted that there'd be one more wait as it sets up the information -- all the while I assumed my first search would be free of charge, given that it took so long to get to where I was -- it THEN asks me for my payment information to set up a subscription to view the information. Frankly, don't bother with the website unless you plan to open an account.

I have found Instant Checkmate to be useful when trying to find missing customer information and to verify other info like phone numbers. I would give it 5 stars except for following: 1. Having to log in every minute or two. Very annoying. 2. Too Many Popups. I also know what persons I need more information on. System should remember on my account how experienced I am with the system. All these popups and re-logins are ruining my productivity which costs me money. Other than that? Great service.
