What is Instant Checkmate?
Instant Checkmate lets you look up a person’s information by typing in their name, age and location in the search console. Instant Checkmate asks you questions about the person as it searches databases to narrow results down to the right match.
Once you have a match, you purchase a membership subscription to access the report. A subscription gives you access to unlimited reports for as long as you are enrolled.
You can look up the following information and more using Instant Checkmate:

Strict guidelines dictate how and why you can use a public records search service. Instant Checkmate is not a consumer reporting agency, and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) prohibits using Instant Checkmate to look up any information governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). I accidentally opened a membership with you. I had gone to your service to find the date in 1979 when my divorce was final because my son was filling out forms for a background check. I put in the information, including my billing information, however I did not think I finished joining. I only realized that I had joined when I received an email yesterday thanking me for joining and offering the report. I spoke with Jay in your Customer Service today. He understood and cancelled my membership and reversed the charge. He was very understanding and helpful to correct my mistake.

Checkmate has a very good customer service. I didn't wait long and a customer service representative answered my call. The lady I talked with is knowledgeable and kind. Love the way I could look up people several different ways and found 95%!!!! Dead or alive. Really a good service. Only criticism is I would like the option of paying more or using it less to stay on board. I had to leave because I used it too much.

I have great service, and she answer all my questions. The service representative was professional and great great and she answer all my questions. I canceled my subscription for personal reason. Utterly and completely worthless. You would think it would find marriages, divorces and….I don’t know guilty pleasure for felonies but all it came back with was “nothing found”. Hell you can find more with a quick google search. Useless rip off. I was foolish enough to piss $30 away.

This site is absolutely worthless! Most of the reports are not supported by most jurisdictions. The information is all open source bot crawler search... Unless someone has a felony it is not going to give you anything. Don't waste your time or money... Big tell, they won't give you a free look at even a partial report. Save your money and just google the person.

Via a Google search, your company came up as a source for military record history. Your site also listed military records as one of the available reports. I joined but was unable to obtain military records and spent much time looking throughout the site and reports. I was unable to get chat, email or telephone help until I cancelled the account. The agent explained that you are no longer able to access military records. I requested a refund and he gave it to me. Only that part was satisfying.

I expected a refund as it was not helpful to me and did not get it. At the end of the report were pictures and I do on sex offenders which had no bearing on the report for the one person I had requested info about. I tried looking up an additional report but it did not work at all.
