    They are a horribly deceptive company. Ordered a Maytag washer which came three weeks later, broken, right out of the box. Mind you waiting three weeks for machine to come to do loads of laundry is unacceptable at best. They send a tracking number nearly two weeks after order, of course stealing your money in the mean time, which never worked. Sent email asking when I would be able to track, responded three days later with an obtuse answer. Never was able to track, suddenly delivery company calls and says they're only delivering sooner because AJ Madison put a rush on it. What? A rush three weeks later.

    When machine arrived, out of box doesn't work. Contacted them by email, never got a response, called them waited online for over 45 minutes to get a fool who said I needed to contact the manufacturer. Uh no, said I want a refund and they can come and get the machine. Here we are 6 weeks later and nothing has been done. Filed dispute with credit card, filed a BBB complaint, as we will pay not one dime for this piece of crap. Buyer beware, deceptive, fraudulent, and worthless customer service. A complete failure and deceptive vendor.

    This company is a classic example of doing everything possible to make you give up and keep a defective appliance. They do not return calls. Customer service is pathetic. Never respond to emails. State that they never receive emails within their "2 day" response time. Tell you to call back at 5:30 p.m. and they close at 5:00 p.m. They threaten you with a 30% restocking fee to return any item. I cannot stress enough that no one should ever purchase anything from AJ Madison. It has taken over 1 month of daily calls to get my issues partially resolved.

    Got an order shipped. Email two days after order placed. I waited 9 days before pursuing info about my order. I tried the ups tracking number. I was given and was told by ups it was invalid. I tried calling Aj Madison customer service and had great difficulty getting through. I finally did and was told they would have to contact their supplier and find out when I could expect shipping. I was confused because I had been told that it had shipped (which was also when my card was charged). They said they would email me what they found out. I knew that all if this was **. I've worked for companies that take online orders and I know that with certain info a person can in a few minutes on the computer find out exactly where an order is. I was told that in a few days it would ship.

    Another week and a half passed and nothing. I finally contacted them and threatened legal action if my order wasn't shipped by a certain day. I would have just demanded my money back and cancelled my order but I was afraid that that would have been more difficult than getting my item. Once I threatened them, suddenly I get an email with a valid tracking number. I was holding my breath until it showed up. I will never shop this company again. They never even apologized for all the difficulty I had in getting my item. Now I will have to have the installer come back out because it wasn't there when he was scheduled earlier. It took about a month to finally receive this item. Do not do business with this company. They are crooks.

    I am willing to overlook a few common mistakes, but this company made many. I placed a phone order a full month and a half before I need my suite of appliances ($6000.00 worth). First the order was incorrect, then the wrong card was charged. I was not notified an item was on back order. I received an email confirmation that they shipped via AM Trucking but never heard from the shipping company. I had to call a week later and was told they would call me next week and it was a totally different shipper. Two more days later no call. I called again and they stated someone would be calling me that same day or the next. Well they called, but instead of calling to arrange delivery they just showed up at my doorstep. (I was at work and contractors were not scheduled) They left! I will never do business with this company and will now make it a mission that others know of their poor service and completely inability to communicate with the customer and their own shipping company.

    6/20/14 called, talked to sales rep to confirm delivery date before purchase as stove was needed for 4th of July holiday. Was told it would ship Tues. 24th and deliver on Tues 1st of July. On Monday the 23rd received e-mail with tracking number and phone number. Over the following week we tried many times to track but it never changed. On Friday the 27 of July we called the phone number. All the man could tell me was it shipped and they would be calling to set up delivery. 7 of July tried tracking and nothing has changed. Called phone number to try to locate stove and pressed if it had in fact been shipped. All he could tell me was yes it shipped and they would call. At this point I filed a complaint thru Paypal since that's how I payed.

    8th of July tried tracking, no change. Called number once again, talked to lady who said it shipped, gave me a tracking number and new phone number to call. Man said it was in warehouse, they would call late next week to set up delivery. At this point I really don't believe it's even shipped or where my stove is at. After all this I spent time researching company (should have done that first) and there many horror stories just like mine and not all of them end well. At this point I would love to get my Money back and be done with this. At this point I will never be happy with this purchase.

    I posted a previous problem and am still trying to deal with the same headache!!! The delivery guy dented my door and they refuse to give me a new door! I went in spoke with Michaela who pretended to show concern over my complaint and would follow up with the MIELE rep for AJ MADISON but still have not heard from her or anyone!

    I purchased a whole kitchen worth of appliances and the delivery guy dented the fridge door panel at delivery. I even made him note it on the receipt. I immediately followed up and AJ Madison sent someone to fix some issues caused during delivery but not the expensive one, the door panel. I was not around during the repair and had to pay a contractor to be present. However, after I returned home from travel abroad 1 yr later, I saw the dented door was never replaced. I went into the shop at my earliest convenience and spoke with Michaela and although I explained everything to her, she said it was my fault I waited so long to complain. Hmm?!?! Way to pass the buck!!!

    However before I left she said she would resolve this issue and mentioned could I split costs. I was told she would not drop the ball and that I would hear back from her. In the spirit of compromise, I was willing to pay a portion of dented door since I "waited too long". It's 5 months later and once again emails and calls have gone ignored. They are just very dismissive (this is twice now) and have a horrible rep which I didn't google before going. Now I have a dent in my nice fridge they caused! Had I known they won't stand behind their mistakes at delivery, I would have taken my $$ elsewhere. True scam artists don't deal with them. As a business owner myself, I can say any potential saving isn't worth it if a company doesn't have good customer service and professionalism!!! Reality is, it's better to pay for quality in both merchandise and service!

    I added on to my home, extending the existing kitchen. The addition took approximately one year with the kitchen just about done. The cabinets just arrived and the appliances are going into their appropriate locations. I ordered a six burner with grill, stainless steel range (48" in diameter weighing almost 175 lbs). The item took an unusually long time to arrive considering all of their items are shipped within 1-2 weeks. The range took more than 5 weeks and they charged me back in the beginning of August for an item that was not received until second week of September.

    The item was delivered while contractors were here working. I left a note on the door indicating that there were workers in the back. You could hear the machinery running and the garage door was wide open. The company left the range on the floor of the open garage, without obtaining a signature. We opened the box to view the item; everything looked good. Now came time to place the item, unfortunately two months later, as cabinets were not in as of yet. As the three guys carried the range in, as it was big, bulky and heavy, it was seen that the bottom was falling out. When the item was placed on the cabinet, which would have become its new spot, it was seen that the range was dented from the top down. Using a straight edge, you could see the gap.

    This is not a fragile item, so it must have been extreme pressure on the item to cause this damage, which also broke the burner. This too was not detected until lifting the burner off the stove as it was neatly fitted like a puzzle piece. There was no visible damage to the box, so this looks like it had to happen prior to shipping. AJ Madison has a notice claiming that you must contact the seller within 48 hours of receiving your item to let them know the product is damaged. However, no one called within 48 hours to report this damage as the husband of the house would have had to lift a 175 lb item out of the box to determine this type of damage. Taking this item out of the box takes several guys. This range takes preparation before installing. Unfortunately, my cabinets just arrived and it is two months after receiving the merchandise. But the item was viewed and in the box, it looked perfect, so there did not appear to be any reason to return the merchandise.

    I have made contact with the seller several times and this is not acceptable, as this did not occur when shipping. The contractor has done many jobs and claims that this appears to have occurred before it was shipped. Now in reading other complaints about this company, all of this makes sense. I wish I read the reviews before ordering. The problem here is that I am out $3,000.00 and this is not acceptable. I ordered all of my other appliances from an Ebay customer and they came in beautiful within two weeks. Send me the email address so that I can send photos from my phone.

    I received the Frigidaire Mini Split Unit from AJ Madison in NY. It took them almost 4 weeks to get me the unit. I then called Frigidaire/Electrolux to refer me to a company that could install the product. They said they have only one representative in my area that could install. When I called them, they said they don't install Mini Split units. I was never, at any time, informed by Electrolux or Frigidaire to the fact that there were more than one company that install their products.

    So I called another company that specializes in installation of these units. When they got the unit wired and hooked up, after spending 500 (This was not their full price. They usually charge 1200.00 for installation.), I was told that the compressor was broken. I then tried to contact a representative at AJ Madison for "damages" and was sent directly to voice mail, every single time I called. No one ever called me back. So I sent several emails to AJ Madison including a copy of the bill from the company I used to install the product (Aire Serve), asking for a replacement of the unit and to have the installation of the replacement unit covered.

    No one at AJ Madison ever got back to me. When I talked to Frigidaire, they said they would cover a new unit and installation. So I waited a couple of days, called Frigidaire/Electrolux back and was told that they would not cover installation. This was all after talking to 6 people at Frigidaire; Three of the representatives told me that reinstallation would be covered and the other three said it would not. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against both companies, unless complete retribution/replacement/reimbursed installation/satisfaction is implemented.

    On 4/28/09, I made on online purchase for $2,069.00 with AJ Madison Inc. for a Jenn Air Stainless Steel, French Door Refrigerator. On 5/6/09 (days past the initial delivery date), the unit was delivered to my home in Atlanta, Ga. An exterior inspection of the unit was made, delivery team removed all packaging, crates/pallets, and signed paperwork indicating packaging removal.

    Note: AJ Madison's policy is not to remove any packaging from customer's home.

    The delivery team left quickly. Upon further inspection, while removing additional plastic wrap & styro-foam pieces from the interior unit, damage (a crack) was discovered to a corner area, located on an upper portion of the door. Contact was immediately made with the delivery team, along with company.

    The company advised that no returns could be made without the original packaging. I advised that the delivery team rushed away, removing all signs of packaging and crates. The company offered to replace the damaged door & advised that I would never know that the damage exists. Due to the location of the damage, internal damage may have resulted as a result. I advised that I did not want the door replaced, nor half off, but a full refund. Again, I was told that the unit could not be returned without the original packaging. Correspondence was made multiple times with AJ Madison Inc. via telephone, & email on the following dates & approx. times:

    I simply can't understand how AJ Madison can accept the return of the unit, yet fail to refund my money. Please help me... Again, I live in Atlanta, Ga.
