    We received the wrong dishwasher from our original order. We ordered and panel ready and received a stainless steel Bosch dishwasher. Calling customer service was the worst experience because Sergio was uncooperative and wanted us to blame someone, but we could not say who caused the problem. Although the mistake was made by the company, no effort was made to resolve the problem without paying a 35% restocking fee. This company does not care about customer's satisfactions. This could have been easily resolved by replacing the dishwasher. We purchased several appliances and this was the least expensive one.

    Liars. I called them at 6:45 to see if they were still on the way for delivery, as they never called with any updates the day of delivery, which we thought was strange. We set aside 4 pm - 8 pm. They said they were finishing up drop 14 of 15. I then get a call at 7:07 telling me that they couldn't make it as lights not working. Then they said that they have to cancel 3 more calls, but how could there be 3 others to call if we were the last stop? When I pointed out that the 6:45 guy told me that we were the only stop left, he hung up. This has been 6 weeks left. Do not use AJ Madison or their delivery services.

    I ordered a Bosch cooktop and a downdraft hood from them. It took six weeks for it to get here. Then when I wanted to exchange a small item they stated they were not willing to. It has not been a good experience.

    We will never order from AJ Madison again, which is too bad, because if they had shown concern about the fridge we bought that was broken from day one, this could be a review about how they turned a problem into an opportunity to differentiate themselves with excellent service. But they did not. We bought a fridge that they said would arrive in a week, it was delayed and delayed - and though communication could have been better - we understand things happen. Weeks later it arrived and immediately started beeping that the freezer was broken. It was a Bosch fridge, which we think of as a reliable brand - and I assumed AJ Madison would help us replace or repair it.

    I could not get ahold of anyone in customer service to help - so I called the sales person, who immediately connected me with a customer service agent over the phone. I asked to speak with a manager and waited for 30 minutes before having to hang up to go back to work. I called back later and was told the manager was busy and would call back. They never did. No manager ever called back even after multiple calls, so I finally reached back out to the sales person via email and asked them to connect me asap with someone who could help, which he did.

    The woman appeared completely disinterested and disengaged - no empathy or sense of urgency. We were told we had to find someone to repair it - no suggested vendor or contacts. It took over a week to get someone out to look at the fridge, then they had to order parts which took longer, and then schedule repair - eventually it was "fixed" after a month, and three weeks later broke again.

    Other than our salesperson, no one at AJ Madison seemed remotely concerned about the fact that we bought a brand new fridge that did not work from them. They did not advocate for us in any way with Bosch other than telling Bosch the serial number. There was no sense of urgency or acknowledgement that this was an incredible inconvenience (except for the sales person who acknowledged "this is a pretty important piece of equipment to have working!").

    I have spent so many hours trying to get this resolved. It has now been 6 months of this - we still do not have a working fridge (had to buy a small fridge and freezer that are in the middle of our entryway). I finally got Bosch to agree to replace the current unit but AJ Madison was completely 100% unhelpful. I try to support companies that are outside of Amazon - but in this case it would have been better to go there because I am certain the customer service and support would have been better.

    I was sold a discounted unboxed dishwasher as a part of a $15000 kitchen appliance order, that was advertised as being in “working order.” Upon delivery, everything appeared fine, but when installation occurred, internal damage was discovered (the stainless steel frame was severely indented and covered up by the insulation)—damage that was not visible during initial inspection. I immediately contacted the company once discovered. Over the next several weeks, I made multiple phone calls and sent numerous emails with no response. I was repeatedly promised that a technician would come out, but that never happened. After weeks of trying to resolve the issue, I finally received an email stating that too much time had passed and that per their policy they were not liable for the damages. Their only offer was a 15% discount, which is unacceptable given the circumstances.

    What I find most concerning is that their sales department is extremely savvy and very prompt, yet their customer service for repairs and concerns was heavily lacking. This discrepancy feels intentional and, in my opinion, evidence of dishonest business practices. This experience has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I would never purchase from this company again and strongly caution others to avoid doing business with them.

    Their delivery and installation services were very poor. Also, I sent this message almost 2 months ago and have been getting the run around, but no refund ever since: I would like a refund of my installation charges. I am requesting this because the dishwasher was not installed correctly. I have two definite concerns regarding this, and a possible third issue. The 1st of the two definite concerns is that the bottom black plastic final was not properly installed. This is the piece that hides the legs of the dishwasher and prevents anything from being able to roll under there. The first time the dishwasher was opened after installation that piece broke off. The two notched metal pieces connecting it to the dishwasher snapped.

    The second definite concern is that when a plumber came in the afternoon, after the morning installation of the dishwasher, to connect the dishwasher to the water, it did not work. He then had to uninstall and reinstall the dishwasher. This was because a hose or tube (I apologize for my terminology being uncertain) had been installed so that it was pinched or crimped and the water would not flow. The third and less certain concern is that a plumber had to come at all after the installation. The installers communicated that they did not have the part necessary to do that. Now, my house was built in 1927, and has been extensively renovated, but there are questions about how thoroughly and recently all of that has occurred. So, I don't know if there truly was something unusual enough about my kitchen sink that made this connection impossible.

    I need to note, and I do feel bad in doing so, that the issues regarding the installation were made more difficult because neither of the men installing it knew English well enough to communicate with me directly. At their initiative we used Google translate on our phone, which raises concerns about how clearly and adequately we were able to discuss the installation. My old dishwasher was hauled away, so I'm not requesting the refund of that fee.

    Scammers. Don’t trust their website inventory. They don’t have anything in stock, and their link to their suppliers are wrong. Customer service will be hard to reach and won’t follow up with answers to questions. They delayed my house being completed with false promises. Using them cost me thousands more than I spent with them and I’m now having to start over from scratch and don’t have my money back.

    Ordered a whole kitchen. $30k. The GE double oven came and both doors were askew, uneven, not level or plumb. The opening was square and plumb. AJ referred us to GE. Had an approved technician come out twice, replaced hinges, still crooked. GE says it's cosmetic and no resolution, AJ says sorry talk to GE. Don't buy from either. Now we will do a merchant chargeback with the CC company to get a resolution. This process has taken 4 months.

    AJ Madison sells products that are often incompatible with other appliances and gives no warning before purchase. Their customer service is unhelpful. The return policy is only 15 days, with a 35% restocking fee, making it nearly impossible to resolve any issues. Once they make the sale, they take no responsibility. I will never buy from them again and strongly suggest others avoid this company.

    I ordered a refrigerator that was delivered damaged. I was pressured by the delivery company into accepting it with the explanation that it would be faster to replace the damaged piece than to get a whole new refrigerator. I agreed but was then told my old refrigerator was too heavy to remove and they needed to reschedule with 3 people instead of 2, at an extra cost of $225.00. I had paid for the 'white glove' service that included hauling away my old refrigerator. Nowhere in the contract did it mention they would only take away my refrigerator if it weighed under a certain amount. My refrigerator was a normal size with removable paneled front doors so should have been fine.

    Two months and countless calls (most of the time spent on hold) later, my refrigerator was still not re-delivered. It was one excuse after another ("it was lost", "it was sent back to the east coast", "we can't find 3 people".). I also requested 48 hours notice instead of the normal 24 hours as I had to coordinate with a plumber and others on the day of delivery. I was dealing with both AJ Madison and the delivery company. AJ Madison did absolutely NOTHING to help me get delivery of my refrigerator (still the damaged one) other than to parrot the excuses of the delivery company. I finally demanded a refund. Then suddenly, after at least a dozen calls, a manager got involved and did everything in her power to stop me from cancelling. The call I made to ask for the refund took 90 minutes! First I dealt with a customer service rep, then I was passed on to a manager. But I was most on hold for an hour an a half.

    The manager still couldn't assure me when I would get the refrigerator or if I would get 48 hours notice. And since I was still going to get the damaged refrigerator, I would still have had to deal with them fixing the damaged piece. Based on how ineffective it was to deal with them, I envisioned that to be another nightmare. I said I wanted a refund and explained all the reasons why I didn't want to do business with them anymore, and the manager just wouldn't let up. She offered me a 5% discount if I didn't cancel my order. I said no. Then she called me, emailed me... pestered me until I got very firm and said NO NO NO. I was finally given a full refund.

    AJ Madison has no say with AM Distribution, the delivery company. I tried to explain I bought the refrigerator from AJ Madison not AM Distribution, but they couldn't do anything to help. A manager, or someone with authority, should have gotten involved in my order a lot sooner. I will never do business with them again.

    If I could give less than a one star I would do that. I was called two weeks after my order and prior to delivery, I needed to pay additional fees for taking out the fridge and more install fees when I had already paid for those, apparently a fridge and freezer had separate charges. This was done two weeks prior to delivery. Delivery day; the driver stated: "We are only delivery people not installers". One week later and over 20 calls later, nothing is resolved. They are not on BBB (most likely for a reason). I am contacting my credit card company and an attorney for fraud. Do not ever purchase and waste your time!

    Terrible, terrible, terrible. I have ordered from these guys several times for different house projects over the years. But now they are charging $300 delivery fee to my area when they are advertising free nationwide delivery. Also, my items were supposedly on sale, but later the same day they were marked down $200 more & I had to fight to get them to honor the new sale. I tried for several days to get a hold of them & they were closed for a holiday & took a long time to get back to me. Seeing as they also advertise "WE PRICE MATCH", this shouldn't have been even a question. Super disappointed once loyal customer. Will definitely shop elsewhere moving forward. I'm pissed. I found this washer/dryer for the same lower sale price w/ no delivery charge at my local Lowe's after this. Never again.

    Horrible experience!!! I spent @20,000 on appliances and cant get anyone to come out and install my refrigerator. My sales agent happily took his commission and regularly asks me to review him. Yet he won't call me back. I was forced to accept delivery early and then part of my order did not show for weeks. Do not use them!!! Customer service said they could not help with the issue and you can't directly call the store.

    This is quite possibly the very worst appliance purchasing and delivery experience that I’ve had in my life. For a North American order, the delivery took over two weeks to get to Houston and the last mile delivery service with AM Home Delivery has been terrible. The package has literally been in the warehouse for almost two weeks now and we can’t seem to coordinate a delivery window that is coordinated between your local team and what appears to be a call center in the Philippines. I keep getting mixed messages and my delivery has still not occurred. We are approaching 1 month from when I made the order and the transit times mirror shipments from overseas. This is the absolute worst management of a delivery I have witnessed and unfortunately this is my first and quite possibly the last experience that I will have with AJ Madison.

    I recently purchased an entire Fisher and Paykel appliance package. The refrigerator is leaking and AJ Madison has been absolutely no help. I spoke to Jonathon, Sheryl, Miriami and Santiago. Every time you call someone will be in a meeting and you will never get a return phone call. I’ve expressed the urgency many times to everyone and it’s been going on for 2 weeks. Just know that when you buy something from them your experience is over. Do not call for anything else is the impression I get. I wish I saw these previous reviews before I purchased my appliances.

    Buyer beware! I wouldn’t order a piece of bubble gum from AJ Madison. I recently ordered a speed queen washer from them. Deliver to approximately 3 weeks. Once the washer arrived it was leaking water on the floor. Called customer service at AJ Madison to return the defective washer and was told it wasn’t their problem I needed to schedule warranty service on a washer that couldn’t complete the first load of clothes. Do not buy from them they do not back the products the sell you.

    RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Do not slow down. I wouldn't order from this company if it was the last company on earth selling a product. I would find a different product. Their customer service is the absolute WORST I've ever experienced. Too bad there isn't such thing as a "zero" star rating. Also, be sure to look at other sites with reviews on this company. That is a lesson I learned too late. Google Reviews' 3.4 rating is SUPER generous. Trust Pilot and Consumer Affairs have ratings in the 1.1 to 1.6 range with a WHOLE lot more reviews than you see here. I wish I would have thought to look there before buying from this company. Their communication is terrible. They are RUDE and hang up on you and don't even try to work with you to resolve an issue. I ordered a range/oven. Following the order confirmation, I received an email saying the item would be shipped on Friday.

    Prior to that, I called because I actually needed to cancel my order because we ran into issues with other factors in our kitchen remodel. I figured if it hadn't shipped, then I should be able to cancel the order without any problem or restocking services/fees; however, when I called to ask them if I could cancel, they informed me that the item had already shipped so there would be a restocking fee. When I questioned the shipping date because they told me it was shipping later that week, the person hung up on me. When I got back on the line with them and spoke with Victor, he told me to send him the email that said the item was shipping on Friday and he would call me back. He never did. Instead I got an email from someone else explaining their return/cancelation policy and the restocking fee. The email also asked me to confirm that I was canceling within 48 hours so they could notify the shipping company.

    At that point, I just decided to take delivery of the range/oven and we would work out those other issues somehow. I did not call them back within 48 hours because they said it was already shipped and if I simply planned to accept the original shipment, what is there to notify the shipping company about? The shipping company (if never notified about anything) would simply ship and delivery as originally intended scheduled and would never know any different. Instead, the next thing I know there is a partial refund on my card and they went ahead on their own decision (NOT mine) to cancel the order and and only refund me my cost minus their restocking fee.

    Attempts to work it out with the company were met with them rudely hanging up on the phone and when I called back they simply did not answer the phone. I tried working it out through Visa, but Visa wouldn't take up the case because they said there was no way to prove what was said and who made decisions, etc. So, I guess I'm just ass out the money. There is no doubt in my mind that the "fact" that the item shipped two days early was complete BS and was just an excuse to be able to charge an exorbitant restocking fee without ever having to provide a good or service. Windfall for them. Do not even think about ordering from this company if friendliness, customer service, rapport and being able to work through issues is even the least bit important to you.

    AJ Madison has conducted an act of fraud against my company. On June 20, 2025, GSS ordered 10 dryers, 4 ranges, and 4 refrigerators for my customer. I expressed the importance of this shipment being delivered NLT July 7, 2025, so it would make the ship for departure supporting US Service Members overseas. My company was charged and paid extra to have the items palletized and scheduled items to be shipped to Virginia prior to July 7th 2025. However, AJ Madison, did not palletize the items and were unable to meet the agreed upon delivery timeline.

    In order to meet my customer requirements and GSS dedication to supporting American Service Members, we paid a team of 4 personnel to drive from Alabama to North Carlina to palletize the items. Additionally, GSS had to pay an extra $2200 for transporting the items to Virginia in order to our customer's July 7, 2025 deadline. I have requested to speak with a manager or someone in leadership at AJ Madison on numerous occasions and as of July 18, 2025, still no call. Buyers beware, this company is not ethical and will add fraudulent charges to your invoice.

    Wonderful product, poor customer experience. Go to Best Buy, Lowes, anywhere else, you will be much more satisfied. I ordered a cooktop with installation and additional accessories which was delivered in a timely manner. When the cooktop was delivered by the folks installing, I was notified that they could not help me because all they do is "plug in cooktop". For my example, I needed it hardwired into my electrical box which I was told they do not do. Unfortunately, this made me go out of the way and get an electrician for an additional cost to get this product installed. Second, if you order accessories MAKE SURE YOU NEED THEM. The accessory I ordered for the cooktop was a plug. This plug was never even taken out of the box, and when I called and asked to return the item, I was notified that AJ Madison does not accept return on accessories. Do yourself a favor and order from anywhere else. You will have a much better customer experience.

    AJ Madison delivered a Bosch dishwasher to our house in June but never set up installation. The dishwasher sat for a few days until we got an appointment scheduled. The first appointment day was missed by the crew because their truck broke down. The next day they arrived eight hours after schedule and installed the dishwasher. The crew left immediately after turning the dishwasher on. Within 20 minutes the dishwasher had an error code indicating it was leaking. I immediately called the company and did not get a return phone call for two days. I had to call about 10 times just to get AJ Madison to be aware of our property.

    A week later one of the crew members came out and verified that the dishwasher was spraying water out of the back of the dishwasher. AJ Madison said their policy was to call a Bosch technician to confirm that the dishwasher was defective. Ten days later a dishwasher technician finally arrived and confirmed that the dishwasher was defective. After nearly 7 weeks, we still do not have a dishwasher. My wife and I have had to call AJ Madison at least 70 times. Customer Service (Mariami) does not take any action immediately, they stall for days, and they always put the onus of getting the problem resolved on us. Now we can’t get a dishwasher until August so I am regretting that my wife chose AJ Madison without reading these reviews. Please avoid this company.

    I don't have a receipt as I spent 5 afternoons waiting around, the first microwave installed was faulty, the next time the guys didn't have "the right screw" to make it level, the third time they arrived at 4:50, 10 minutes before all workers have to leave a doorman building in Manhattan, the fourth guy Ray, knew what he was doing and ordered another microwave, but they left because I was 10 minutes late. Everything refunded and now I am delighted with one time P.C. Richards who installed without all the drama.

    Do NOT purchase from AJ Madison. I ordered LG washer/dryer from AJ Madison. The delivery wasn't as fast as they touted, but no matter. When it did arrive, I pointed out obvious damage to the dryer, but the AJM delivery simply.....left. When I turned on the dryer, it made a LOUD grinding noise. I called AJM within 10min of delivery to inform them of the damage and the improperly functioning dryer. Now I am trapped in corporate policy hell, needing to coordinate between AJM, LG, and getting a repair guy to come out to my home to diagnose the issue. Then AJ Madison 'will see' if they can replace the unit. I ordered a new, properly functioning LG dryer. Instead, I received one that wasn't working upon delivery--and the company is making it as difficult as possible to fix a problem they created.

    I ordered a Sub-Zero Column Refrigerator and a Sub Zero column Freezer almost three weeks ago, costing over 24K. I have called several times wanting answers on delivery. Was told someone would call me within 24 hours. No one called. I waited another day, no call. I am currently on hold for 55 minutes and counting trying to get answers to when I can get these delivered. The worst customer service I have seen. No one can get me an answer. I was told someone would get back to me within 24 hours. Unbelievable. DO not order from this company. I never get on reviews or say any negative things due to being a business owner myself, but this is unacceptable!!!!

For an on-site inspection of our cabinet for which a wall oven (if purchased) would be installed, the sales rep (Miguel) not only charged us for the site visit but also charged us a 6% state sales tax for it. After notifying the 3 Depts mentioned above of the sales tax erroneous add-on did they refund our debit card. It took almost a month for AJ to submit the correction. Caveat Emptor w AJ Madison.
