The account balance for one of my cards was reported in accurately (card was fully paid off, it was reported at 91% usage AFTER being reported at almost paid off..was paid off but interest snuck in somehow affer balance being zero.) so that dropped my score by 50 points. I filed a dispute, they took their sweet time reviewing only to say they found no errors. Had to redispute the same card company on Transunion's end. Over it.

My name is Denise **. Trans Union allow fraudulent reports on your account and want you to pay them to remove something that is reported to them and when they see that it's not yours, you have to pay them to remove it. That's wrong and unprofessional.

Horrible company. I have NEVER been late on a bill, in fact all bills are paid within 24 hours of receipt. All my homes and cars are paid in full. The score does not reflect my payment history. They are a totally incompetent firm in my opinion.

Again, one star is one too many. We just received 2 years coverage for free. We opened our accounts, completed all of the information and then are unable to log in to our accounts. The website says our IDs and/or passwords are incorrect. I spent 2 1/2 hours on the phone with 5 different people and was finally able to log in. No one could or would tell me what the problem was. My wife has spent the same amount of time on the phone and was finally told "It is a known problem with THE SYSTEM. Try calling back in a day or two." What kind of Company is this?

I made a mistake to do the freeze with them. Once you did it it impossible to unfreeze. No customer service and impossible to online. This freeze doesn't help. It only significantly complicates your life.

Is Transunion event legit? How is this organization lawful? I tried speaking to a representative, none of them can properly speak French or English. They are incredibly incompetent, arrogant and disrespectful over the phone. I am about to give up on fixing my credit score for theft identity as there is no issue with my Equifax report, only Transunion.

Trying to log into TransUnion to learn that their website is completely down. I called their service line which REQUIRED that I provide my private information in order to "not have to do it once their representative was on the line." Thirty minutes later, their representative came onto the line and began asking me the EXACT SAME private information that I had previously entered to be "verified" for the representative. I REFUSED to provide that information because it appeared to be a fraudulent individual on the line ("Ann" with a very Asian sounding accent!). If I didn't want to check my reports periodically, I would NEVER use any organization as incompetent as TransUnion.
BTW -- While researching the reason for their system being down, I learned that TransUnion had a major data breach in July, 2025, with 4.4 Million people having their private information (SS#, birthdates, etc.) stolen from their website! EVERYONE should FREEZE their CREDIT REPORTS with ALL of the incompetent credit bureaus!

This business is the worst. I was involved in a cyber incident involving their company. I tried calling them to discuss. After 2 hours on the phone, nobody answered. I tried reaching them again the next day and same. ZERO customer service. This company obviously could care less about their customers!

1 star is TOO MUCH, the website is a pain to deal with, phone numbers doesn't work and hang up automatically, the website is always saying that my information is incorrect. Literally can't see my credit score with them, but I have 0 ISSUES with Equifax and Experian, it's always these people that dealing with them is stressful.

Trans Union allowed a data breach. They sent out letter which I received 2 weeks after published date. They offered credit monitoring. 3 phone calls and 2 hours later, still can’t sign up. Total **. Won’t accept password. Contractors from who knows where can’t help. Have to push one for English? Letter sent in English…

This company sucks and exemplifies why monopolies are bad for consumers. TransUnion clearly does not have enough incentive to improve its systems or customer service. I shouldn't feel like I'm stuck in a credit report version of Kafka's The Trial. TransUnion messed up my credit report and then put all the responsibility on me to fix it. The worst part? I can't opt out of TU. There's only 2 credit reporting agencies and they need to fined and regulated for poor service. At least Equifax had my correct info.

I'm currently on hold as I type this review. I shouldn't have to go thru this.

Customer surveys to speak with a representative over the phone due to identity theft and fraudulent activity almost years ago still on my credit report has proved incompetency on their part. They do have someone in a cue that will text and fill your requests, but it can be 1-2 business days if someone calls you. This is beyond unacceptable, and the different links that were sent just opens it up to a hacker's paradise. Come on, you guys get with it. There's Americans that need help.

TransUnion is the ghetto of all the credit reporting agencies. I don't understanding why business are even using the ghetto reporting agencies. Compared to Equifax and Experian is scary. How can you place a freeze on your report and still get soft inquires with freeze on the account.

Transunion is horrible. Their software never works. Their programmers must be the worst form of incompetent "individuals". Any time they do any kind of software changes it breaks everything. Their customer service is subpar. You call the support number and ever 10 seconds (I'm not exaggerating) it says all reps are busy please hit 1 to remain on hold, or 2 to get a call back. Call backs from any service never work I've found. In between those 10 seconds before the message repeats it plays a loud screechy humming song sound. I have to assume they are trying to get you to hang up. No other logic explanation.

If you’ve been harmed by TransUnion, it’s time to speak up. They’ve been: Placing fraud alerts without consent. Blocking access to credit reports. Re-inserting deleted accounts. Ignoring disputes. Causing housing denials, loan rejections, and financial loss. This isn’t a glitch — it’s been happening to people for years. ✅ Report them to the CFPB here: **. 🧾 Choose “Credit Reporting > Problem with investigation” and tell your story. They’ve hurt me. They’ve hurt others. Let’s hold them accountable together. Share this. File a complaint. Make noise. #TransUnion #CreditReportingAbuse #FCRAviolations #ExposeThem #CFPB #ConsumerJustice

Absolutely horrendous website and customer service! Discrepancies all over my report, and I'm not able to do anything about it. My credentials stopped working right after I created my login, so I had to call and recreate them. I was offered a paid version multiple times. Once I recreated my login and submitted a dispute—because TransUnion has multiple discrepancies on my report and shows my credit score 80 points lower than the rest of the bureaus—they sent me an email saying it was successfully resolved. But when I logged in to check on the results, the page said they are not able to process my request at this time. Then, I received an email saying my dispute was successfully canceled by Me, which I never did! And this is the source lenders refer to decide whether or not you qualify for a loan or credit. How is this even possible?

Trans Union implemented a “new” website. But it’s total and complete garbage! Can’t login anymore, no matter what I do. Changed my username. Changed my password. Nothing I do matters. Tried to call them, they intentionally disconnected me. Tried to call again, they hung up again. I signed up for free credit monitoring for two years because my landlord’s website got hacked. But what good does Trans Union if a customer can’t even login?

This place doesn't look into nothing. Neither does the BBB or consumer affairs. All a joke so now my lawyers going to handle it. I went to tmobile and upgraded 2 phones. They did that but added 2 extra lines. I messaged immediately to fix the problem. Tmobile WILL NOT release the transcripts. That automatically should make them lose the dispute. Why won't they show it? Because for over 2 years I attempted on 45 occasions to fix it. They'd never get it right, they never tried to fix it. So my 3 year contract is up and I go to another company. Up till this point I have $0 balance. They even let me keep my numbers. Then they send a bill and I call and they say they had a e- signature to add 2 lines. E signature isn't you writing your name. It's a box you check on their tablet. Anyone could've checked that box.
Tmobile is currently in 24 lawsuits. Because they overcharge. Now it affecting my credit. If I owed them $890 how did I keep my phones connected through all that? If I really owed that I'd a had my service disconnected. But no, I paid my bill all 36 months then they tried to bill me. Because I left tmobile. They also tried to add a phone on my bill I bought cash. And Transunion didn't look into none of this or contact me. You get 3 sentences to try to explain how you got ripped off. But the company can send in letters and made up stuff. I'm not paying it and my lawyers bringing me in tomorrow to pursue criminal charges on tmobile and file a lawsuit on transunion. They're only on the side of these businesses. I've paid every bill I have for the last 7 years, never been late. So why would I do this with no reason? I wouldn't. My lawyer will go from here.
