LifeLock was something that we needed. I heard about them thru AOL, and I went with LifeLock because with AOL, they pay part of my amount monthly. I've had problems in three different times this year where somebody tried to open up different accounts in my name. LifeLock emailed me immediately when they found out about it, even before I had any idea that something was happening. They've got me through all three times, and I'm very happy with them. They've always been very professional and very positive. They do their job very well. I'd recommend them.

When my underage daughter opens two credit card accounts, I am not notified. When I call the excuse I'm given is that I approved a credit card for her recently, so that is the reason I wasn't notified. So I am to understand because I approved once it is good forever and no matter how many accounts she opens. That is one of the most lame excuses I ever have heard.

LifeLock is a proven product, and it makes me feel safe. Financially, if somebody is misusing my identity, I know that they have been very able to detect those things, immediately send warnings, and take the necessary steps. Their representatives have treated me nicely, and I’m happy with that. LifeLock is a good company, with a good product, and good services. If you can afford it, go get it.

My wife has a sister who's in and out of prison all the time. We're very concerned with potentially getting our identity stolen, because she had stolen my wife's identity once before. So, we figured to enroll ourselves up with LifeLock for a small amount of money. I've been with them almost eight years or so and there's never been a problem. But this year, there were four instances. Somebody got a hold of my Social Security number probably from the Equifax or Anthem hack. But either way, somebody tried to open cellphone and credit card accounts. I got phone calls immediately. We dealt with everything and shut it down. They're willing to put freezes on your account and everything just to prevent any further damage from being done. They're doing their own investigations now, so it's a pretty simple operation.
LifeLock has been good to me. They've handled every situation that I run into in quick timing. Everybody's helpful, very easygoing, dedicated to get the job fixed right away, and very polite. I would highly recommend them to anybody that's trying to make sure that their credit and everything stay in order.

There has been an identity theft issue in the past and LifeLock seems as though they've had history with the issue. I was pretty impressed with the promptness and that they reacted to the problem that I recently had. Also, that the people I dealt with were very informative and helpful. I thought they did a great job.

I received an email to update my billing credit card. It referred me to the member portal (did not work), app (did not work), phone LIFELOCK (AI did not work after I gave all of my information), transferred me to customer care agent who did not have the information I gave the AI. The agent told me she could not help me because they were going through maintenance. How was I supposed to know? She told me to call back in an hour or so. I asked how was I to be sure I would not get in the same boat. She told me to call back.
I told her I found it hard to believe that no one could take my information. She said they could not. I asked why having LIFELOCK call me was not an option, she told me she would create a ticket. Then she told me she could not give me the ticket number. I created a ticket on the member portal, it could not give me a ticket number. This is the company I have been paying for years to constantly review and protect my data. Not a very comfortable position at this time.

We had a break in at my work and the people responsible took my bag which had a lot of personal information in there like my birth certificate, my passport and my tax return. I got a credit card in there they were using. They tried to open my cell phone through my name. But LifeLock caught it and I had told them what happened. So I’m a true believer in LifeLock. They really helped me. Those people kept trying and LifeLock keep monitoring it. LifeLock called me. I said, “Nope. That’s not me doing it.”
The LifeLock team have all been great. Everybody’s been really super nice and really helpful. I couldn’t ask for anything better. I always get somebody when I call. The alerts have gone down but since the people who broko in at my work have the information I would never know when it’s going to pop up again. But It’s all just been a good experience with LifeLock. They’re right on it. And then I got it just before the Equifax breach. I think I was safe with that because I have them. I’m really happy with it.
I would recommend LifeLock. More and more things are getting hacked so maybe people need it a lot more especially if something has happened to them. LifeLock really protects you on the dark web. You just learn how your information could be used. It can really affect you and affect your credit scores so if you don’t have it I would say definitely get it.

With people hacking into systems, I thought it would be good to sign up with LifeLock and have some protection just in case something ever happened to me. I signed up and I’ve been a member for quite a while now. So far, LifeLock has been good. Recently, someone has gotten my information from somewhere and so LifeLock alerted me that someone was trying to open up an account with my name and information and would know if I was trying to open an account. I said no and they got that stopped and the people who were trying to open up an account were in the same town that I live. They tried a few more times and each time LifeLock stopped them. They didn’t get into my account and I owe it to LifeLock.
When I got the alert and when I called it in, they were very prompt. They had the information very quickly, they asked questions, and in that process, they go through several steps and they did it very quickly and easily and then they put me online with whatever company it was. We worked it out together and they understood too that that wasn’t me trying to open up an account. So, they quickly closed it and then they sent me letters about what they did and so forth. I wasn’t missing any funds out of my account and they weren’t able to charge accounts under my name. The process went very smoothly and I’ve talked to several different LifeLock reps because it happened three more times and each time it was stopped and it has all been efficient and quick. I’m certainly glad that I signed up with them. It’s been well worth it.

LifeLock has been great. I'd never had anything like it, and I wanted to try it this time because Christmas was coming up and I've had people use my identity before. Anytime anything comes up, they call me right away. They stop whatever transactions are going on and they explain to me what I need to do. They've called me three to four times when they have detected something on my credit and they take care of it right away. They have great service and reasonable pricing. I've recommended them to a lot of people already.

My car was stolen and some of my identifications were in it. As soon as we realized that some of that stuff was going to be at risk, we signed up for Lifelock. With the way it was advertised, Lifelock seemed like a good company to go with. They’ve already let me know two instances where people had tried to apply for loans and credit cards in my name. They have told me as soon as something happened and I always got a notification for it. Their representatives have been fantastic. They've always been understanding and made me feel that they care about making sure my stuff got taken care off. Lifelock quickly jumped on the ball about making sure that my identity was not compromised because of the credit card and loan applications. They were quick to get to me and they've been patient in making sure everything got worked out the way it should. I would definitely recommend and share my experience with it.

Years ago, I had an identity theft issue. After reading things saying it’s on the rise again, I thought it was time to put on a better security system for that. Based on researching a little bit and getting some feedback from other people, it seemed like LifeLock had a good reputation and a great guarantee, so I went with them. I’m 99% confident in their system. I had a couple of cases where somebody tried to apply for accounts under my name and LifeLock called me immediately and they put a stop to it. So, it has been productive for me.
Their team was great. If they couldn't retrieve something right away, they tried again. They sent me an email, had an alert on my account, and called me. They reached out in as many ways as they could and their responsiveness was outstanding. They exerted efforts to get something either affirmed and confirmed by me or get it resolved if I couldn't confirm it, one way or another. I also like the guarantee that they offer where if something happened on their watch, they are willing to back it up by correcting it with their funds. I'd tell others that they've got to have LifeLock. They can't take any chances with credit because in our economic world, credit is king and that's what people say.

Years ago I was doing a missionary flight work down in Mexico and my license number by the FAA pilot license was my Social Security number and I was giving that out agents down there. I had my pilot license number changed to a generic number. And since I've given my Social Security number out down in Mexico I decided that I would better get a credit protection.
Last month someone tried to get an account off AT&T through my Social Security number and Lifelock stopped it and got a hold of AT&T and had a three-way conversation with them. They stopped the application from a fraudulent credit attempt. And then they put a credit lock for 90 days. Once I tried to get legitimate credit myself and they stopped it until I verified it was me. I'm very happy with them and continuing.

LifeLock has been very helpful and did what they were supposed to do. And I've told people that I have a positive experience with LifeLock. I had a big deal at the end of December where somebody got my social security number, bought a set of tires and some stuff from Menards and tried to open up three accounts. LifeLock got a hold of me within two days and walked me through the deal where we called all the places and got that all taken care of.

LifeLock has been everything I thought they would be. When something came up, they were right on top of it and they helped me settle a dispute not too long ago. I used to be a member of LifeLock a couple of years until I cancelled my membership. And I went back to them after I had settled a suit with a payday loan company back in April that was filed against me in 2012. And I didn't know about it until I got a letter from the attorney that I owe them the money. Since then, another one has come up and I got help from LifeLock a couple of weeks ago to settle another payday loan that was in my name. And we got that settled over the telephone.
The people at LifeLock have been excellent. They explained everything and they were with me when I was talking to people over the telephone. We were on a party line. And then, when I finished what I've had to say, then they stepped in and made sure everybody was clear on things. I would gladly recommend them to anybody. Also, I looked at their advertisements on TV and saw how they've helped people in all walks of life. So, I'm thrilled that I went back to them.

I've had LifeLock for so long now. The news about people losing identities and not aware of it happening got me into getting one. In fact not more than three months ago, I had an instance where it looked like somebody got a hold of my Social Security number and LifeLock informed me almost immediately that someone was trying to apply for a credit card. The next week, someone else was trying to apply for a credit card. So, I was able to catch both issues and get credit stops under my account. LifeLock helped acknowledge there was an issue before something got worse.
Their reps have been good. However, they make it sound like that they provide all the solutions. But a lot of times, they're just a third-party type who knows how to get you in contact with the right person. For instance, one of my issues was someone tried to open a Best Buy account. They didn't really do too much but they knew who to contact at Best Buy so that I could talk to them on the phone and get it resolved, and make them realize it was fraud. So to me, they were not really fixing the problem, but they were making sure you were aware of it and got you to the right people to make sure that you could handle it yourself. Bottomline, they catch the stuff that needs to be caught.

LifeLock seemed to be the best of the lot. Given the world we live in, it's prudent to have everything that you can on your side, and LifeLock is absolutely a worthy asset. Their aim is to protect your financials and/or credit life. They have caught certain instances of attempted identity theft for me, so they're truly worth their weight in gold. The reps were genuinely interested in doing a good job as opposed to just going through the motions of a pre-scripted dialogue. They went above and beyond what I would have come to expect from others. They seemed to make it their business to do as much as they could do to help and/or mitigate the instance of downside to me as it pertained to any of these attempted identity theft incidents. They definitely did their due diligence.

I'm concerned about making a purchase if I'm on the internet. I then got LifeLock and their customer service team has been very good. There was a purchase that I did not make and they alerted me and they made it really easy for it to not get through and be taken off my credit report. I would recommend LifeLock to my friends.

I was provoked to get LifeLock after I was a victim of identity fraud wherein a lot of my credit cards kept calling me to verify that I made the purchases. So I went on LifeLock's website, read a little bit about them, and then I just wanted some protection. So I enrolled and registered with LifeLock since October of last year. Since then, they were the first to notify me if there was any suspicious behavior. They've been really good, professional, thorough, punctual and empathetic to my situation. I was very satisfied with them and would recommend them because they're really reliable. I even found out that my sister had it.

I heard about LifeLock from a friend. I trusted this friend at the time so I thought it was the best deal but I’m not too sure now. I got it for basic protection but it has helped me minimally. They just do basic coverage and I don’t think it’s the best, but it’s what I have now. I did have a credit card number that was taken and used and LifeLock didn’t figure that out. I was concerned about that and there were four charges put on my credit card. I ended up dealing directly with the credit card company and a couple of the retailers where the credit card was used to try to get information about who used the card, if they had videos, etc.
Their team was okay however, they should listen more and ask questions both in the onset of a conversation and when the conversation is done. They need to ask their client if they have any other concerns and any other questions. They seemed to just ram it really quickly and think that because they know what they’re talking about, that I understand it too. I had to stop them and ask clarification questions.

I've been thinking about getting a protection for quite a while. And then all of a sudden, I started getting all these problems with my credit scores going up and down and falling through the bottom. Before I signed up with LifeLock, I almost had an 800 credit rating. By the time I did, it was at 621. And so, I knew there was something wrong, but I don't know what it was. Once I got in touch with LifeLock, they started getting everything all straightened out and lined up for me. It's still not back up to 800, but it's now around 750. It improved a lot.
I've had dozens and dozens of calls from LifeLock because there's somebody out there that has my name and birthdate, and they keep trying to get the same credit card towards the same bank. Every couple of months they keep hitting it. LifeLock sent me an email telling me when I do need to get in touch with the credit bureau and file a police report. So, that will be my next step. I'm totally pleased with the LifeLock team. I really am so glad that I'm a member. I feel totally confident that if anything happens, they are going to notify me and get it taken care of. It has been an outstanding experience.

Seeing commercials on TV where credit agencies are getting hacked and identity theft is all over the news, I need to be protected. I have been paying my credit card about $10 to cover any fraud, but that’s just for the card. LifeLock, on the other hand, covers a lot of other stuff for about the same price. I’ve had two incidents where people tried to start accounts, and LifeLock alerted me. They were very quick, and they made it very easy for me to resolve everything. We had to call a third party with whom somebody tried to start an account under my name.
The LifeLock agent called the company for me, got a representative on the phone, and made it really easy for me to talk to the third party and resolve everything. Everything has been very easy, and I have been very happy with the services provided by LifeLock. I’m very happy that LifeLock can monitor companies that have my name. So, I have peace of mind for when somebody starts a line of credit using my identity.

I had identity theft happened and my parents said LifeLock does a good job. It's worth having an identity theft protection. LifeLock notifies me if something happens so that I'm able to take care of it. And they'll help me contact the financial institution that I need to contact regarding that. However, if you get a lesser package, they only check one of the three credits and I wasn’t aware of that so I bought a smaller package first. I still had identity theft and I found out that they weren’t covering that other identity, so I upgraded the system. But other than that, they've been great.

After trying to sign up my wife and myself I kept getting an error message. Called the 800 number after several automated branches I was told it would be a 12-minute wait. After 15 minutes of terrible music, I gave up. Went back to the online site and went to the cancel membership page. Filled in I wanted to cancel, got an email that they would get back to me in one business day. Sent the same message on 1/15, 1/16, 1/18 and have had no response. They charged the credit card in milliseconds, but apparently trying to cancel is more of a job. Will cancel the card before I get charged again for this service.

I've been going through hell and high water trying to get some help with the identity theft. I've seen LifeLock on the TV and all the clients seem very pleased so I chose them. I haven't been with LifeLock long but so far, my experience with them has been very good. They're very efficient. I had spoken to another lady in restoration and to Carlos. He called me and he got Experian, the creditor. They put an extra alert on my credit reports where I won't be bothered for the next 90 days, which was very nice. However, I have different people calling so I guess the restoration person doesn't stay the same and my case goes to whoever picks up the case. Since I'm new to this, maybe the need to have a proof should be stipulated because I could assume they have my receipts and everything when I faxed them. Other than that, LifeLock has been great and I will recommend it when I can.

We have been victimized of identity theft and I've had to close a checking account that I've had for 20 years with the same branch and the same bank because it's been hacked. Also a couple of accounts have been attacked and it's just ridiculous so having LifeLock gives me some peace of mind. I had a better feeling about LifeLock than some of the others that promised everything and you're not really sure.
But there are some things that I'm wondering that I have not been contacted by LifeLock so I called them and they said, "We can't monitor everything." I'm paying probably top dollar for this coverage and I should be getting a better answer than that. They said that they can't monitor every single company and every single account so I'm a little disgruntled there. And I've been almost tempted to write a letter to LifeLock. The last person I spoke to appeared as though he was quite new. But other than that every person I've spoken to at LifeLock is very professional and very courteous.

I had some issues with Experian so I decided to get an identity theft protection. Other people had LifeLock service so I went with them too. They notified me of any kind of things that are going on with my accounts and their team has been very good. I would tell others to get LifeLock.

We all worry about identity theft and I wanted to protect myself from it. I've had LifeLock for years and they have served me very well. They're all very nice and I trust them to let me know if some red flag shows up. When somebody had used my debit card out of state and I was in Birmingham, Alabama, they contacted me. Recently, somebody kept trying to get AT&T phones using my Social Security. LifeLock called me and AT&T and we talked about the problem. They're good so far and I continue to use them.

We had one incident prior to taking LifeLock and we managed to get the problem taken care of, but we decided it would be worth subscribing to LifeLock to give us more protection. Our local bank offered it through our account there and they also offered us a discounted price. I had been seeing stuff on LifeLock so I knew a little about it. We subscribed and it's been a very good experience. They’ve taken care of us each time we've had a problem. Recently we had someone get a hold of our information and tried to set up accounts in various places and we were able to get that shut off with LifeLock. The service is worth it and we'd encourage others to seriously look at it.

We decided that getting LifeLock was the smart thing to do with all the things going on with identity theft. Last December, just before Thanksgiving, we got a notice from them that someone opened up a request for credit cards from Discovery Bank in my name. The next day, we got another notice from them on the computer that someone has opened up an account in my name at Barclays Bank. So, I called LifeLock and told them that we have not requested either of those events and they were potential fraud. They reported it to their Fraud Division and said they'd get back to us within a few days. Meanwhile, I was not willing to wait on that. I felt they might be too slow, so I called Discovery Bank and Barclays Bank, reported the same things, and they stopped all of those requests.
LifeLock's team was very healthy and very professional. My only complaint is that they should have been faster in addressing the problems. It took a good six days before a LifeLock person called us back from the Fraud Division. When their guy called us back the following week, we told him that we already took care of the problem so he just got on the phone with us with both Discovery Bank and Barclays Bank and made sure that they had stopped the issuance of those cards.
Other than that, LifeLock has been very instrumental in saving us from a disaster and we recommended them many times. I have gone and called Equifax and through their system, determined that my name and all of our data had been hacked. Barclays Bank told me they had my full name, address, Social Security number, and all the data that Equifax had. The only thing they didn’t have was my mother's maiden name. So we've been monitoring our accounts and we've frozen all of our credit scores. No one could inquire again about our credit.

My husband and I are victims of identity fraud. People have been trying to open credit cards using our information, and this has been going on since October. First, it was just me, and then they started using my husband's. I've been fighting this since then, and back then, I thought it would be a good idea to have LifeLock. And also, LifeLock was available through my Norton software. LifeLock notified me once, and I haven't seen any other alerts. I've had them do the dark web scans and they haven't found anything. I've had to go to the credit reporting agencies myself and set up fraud alerts. First for myself, and then for my husband. LifeLock has been good overall.

After a lengthy sign up process, I was promised to be upgraded from the Basic to Standard plan. After multiple phone calls this did not happen. Regardless, what really frustrates me is that when I try to use the privacy monitoring tool, I am shown a prompt: "LifeLock is undergoing scheduled maintenance to improve your experience. Please try again or call 1-800-LifeLock (1-800-543-3562) if you need additional support Our representatives will not be able to make changes or updates to your account at this time, but are available for general questions."
This is every single time. Complete garbage that Life Lock is undergoing scheduled maintenance everyday at every hour. Really? How about being honest and saying "This is not working for you. We have no idea why." After trying again as instructed, I emailed support. Support instructed me to call. So I call. They tell me, all I can do is submit an IT ticket. Just terrible. So much wasted time. I have not received an email back or even a confirmation that I've contacted Life Lock regarding this. Just a waste of money and my time.

There were three instances where my information was used to try and open an account. LifeLock reached out to the company to stop any transactions from happening and to put in a dispute for the inquiry, in a way to let them know that it wasn’t me and that it was an unauthorized opening of an account. LifeLock's representatives treated me fine. I've been with LifeLock since October 2017. And I’ve already referred friends to Lifelock and told them it’s a good way to be on track on what would be happening with their information and that they would get alerts right away whenever something happens.

I have a typical credit card fraud alert and whenever anybody wanted to do something with my information, LifeLock sends me alert through phone and they email right away. I confirm that it wasn't me, then they follow through and check whatever is being done. Then they notify the company that that person that’s trying to do that is not me and it stops. LifeLock is very good and it works just the way it is for me.

I have made 14 calls to correct my e-mail alert. I am still receiving them on my g-mail address. Your customer service people try but they don't listen. I get, "I can't fix the problem. I will need to have someone call you back." I have never received a call back.

I have had LifeLock services for quite a few years. In that time I have opened a couple of credit cards and taken out several loans for vehicles and at least one mortgage, but I have never received any alerts from them asking if it was me that is doing it. In the interest of being fair, I will say that I got my wife to sign up a few years ago as well and in that time she has received one alert from them. It came shortly after opening a store-specific credit card, but she has opened several other accounts and she did not receive any notification.
I recently asked them why I have never been contacted and the response was mediocre. Apparently, they have “a large number of companies in our network” (businesses and lenders) that they work with, but not all businesses and lenders. I get it. You can’t have every single business in your network, it just amazes me that I’ve never worked with a business that actually is in their network. My wife wants to cancel because she wonders what we are paying for. I guess we are just supposed to trust them that if there ever is a problem they will be there to help. I’m not 100% sure that is worth the money we pay every year.

Their response has been very fast. There was once when someone tried to use my identity through the credit card and LifeLock found out and they told me right away and it was resolved. LifeLock helps me keep track of everything. I get on there almost daily to make sure that nobody has touched my credit score. They helped me out once when someone was trying to get my credit cards that I currently have. LifeLock let me know that somebody got a hold of the company and they cancelled my current card and they even changed my address to their address and got the new cards right there. I was able to stop that and I cancelled the cards. Also, before the New Year, somebody tried doing something but they weren’t able to because I had my credit locked. LifeLock reps have been really cool and nice. They really helped me out and let me know right away when someone was trying to get my information. And so far, I haven’t had any issues with anyone trying to come after me.

I got a call from a collection agency telling me that my Comcast bill was overdue. They want my credit card number to pay it off. I thought it was a little strange so I didn't do that. But then when I got it the second time I had two bills. It turned out somebody used my name and my social security number and the same phone number to open Comcast accounts in Cicero, Illinois and in Lithonia, Georgia. I have their telephone number. I have the addresses for the fraudulent accounts. I had LifeLock for 10 years and the LifeLock team have been excellent. Every time I had to interact with them they've been very very helpful, very thorough and explained things very well simply.

I operate a small business and wanted to make sure my credit was okay. I was looking for a credit reporting agency and I liked LifeLock's service. Interactions with the LifeLock team have been excellent. I've had people try to get into my credit or inquires that should not even be allowed to go in without asking me first. LifeLock transfers me to people to talk to and I leave an alert. They're doing a great job. However, I was locked out of LifeLock. They should be able to be taken out of my credit card and I was paying it. I didn't drop LifeLock, but I don't know if they dropped me.

I had some identity theft a few years ago and signed up for Lifelock immediately. And since my identity have been stolen to do the tax returns, it was obvious that my identity was out there. There were a few more attempts to use my identity falsely that were stopped. Lifelock helped. Plus my wife got one too and we always file jointly. And we got the individual letters. So I knew right away and the IRS gets kudos. They were on top of it and were suspicious right away. I didn't lose any money or anything.
Every time I've called LifeLock I got a person who I thought was sane to be on the phone with me until we fix things. There was much that they could do in the first call. And they've been on the phone with me two times when I've had to call a third party. They coached me or walked me through it so they've been good. LifeLock is a good partner right now.

Received an automated voice call this AM for an alert on my LifeLock account. Called back and gave the automated system my relevant info, and was routed to a call center. Call center had to be in India or similar based on the employees accent. She was extremely difficult to understand; these employees should have a MUCH better command of the English language for servicing customers in the US.
Had to call back on a landline later and had the same experience with same or different employee. Extremely noisy in background and employee kept remarking that she was having a hard time hearing me(!). Employee couldn't even adequately explain what the next steps were regarding the fraudulent opening of a credit account in my name. Overall customer service extremely poor. Can't believe LifeLock outsources customer service to save labor costs... wonder if will still be profitable for this as they lose customers due to this issue. Not sure I will be renewing. Unreal.

I've recommended LifeLock to my family. We were getting ready to buy a house and we didn’t want our credit ruined 'cause me and my husband both have really good credit. Have had LifeLock for years now and this past year has been nothing but frustrating. My accounts seem to get "disconnected" and every time I go through the steps indicated all I get are error codes. My daughter and I have called several times over the past week reporting the error codes, going onto my accounts listed and updating them as LifeLock directed us to do and still can not get my accounts reconnected!!! Not only that, when we went to try everything they told us to do AGAIN, now another account has been disconnected. WTH! This is such a ripoff, what am I paying for??? I think it's time to look at switching companies. So disappointed. Giving 2 stars only because it used to be good. :(

I'm buying a house next year and I decided to get identity theft protection. LifeLock was the only one that I've seen widely advertised and my experience with them has been positive. The month in which I got their service, there were multiple attempts of folks either trying to open a credit card or steal my identity. LifeLock immediately called and helped me through each process of letting the businesses know that it was identity theft. Anything that ever comes up, their team calls and lets me know that I have an alert. There were a handful of times where we had to work with banks or credit card companies to let them know that it's not me. And they were very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and knew exactly what steps to take. It was very good. Having LifeLock was well worth the money and I haven’t had a major headache.

I’ve seen LifeLock advertisements all over and there are a couple people in our office that have LifeLock also. I got it too and I've been using them for six months at the most. I’d gotten my identity stolen before and I was starting to get more of that, so I got LifeLock involved. They were very good. They’ve caught a couple of identity theft. In fact, they filled one out this morning that they caught and sent it back, so they’re doing well. My communication with their team has been very good. I appreciate their text alerts and e-mails and their staff has been very, very helpful when I talk to them. I’m really happy with how they’re working and handling things for me.

LifeLock has been awesome. They really held my back very well. They supported me in three different times that my identity has been stolen. They contacted people, and they would also lead me to people that kept me in the loop the whole time. When there has been an issue, I’ve been assigned to one person and we would communicate via phone and through email. However, some of the limits to what they can do are a little bit hampering and then a couple of times, I’ve needed them to be my emissary. But they said it was not something that they’re allowed to do. It would be nice if they had more of a presence but I know it’s coming along.

Is credit bureau fraud alert required if you have LifeLock? I was one of the 143 million Americans affected by the Equifax breach, and have been a Lifelock Ultimate customer since 2010 or so. I asked the question above to Lifelock by email and over the phone, multiple times, and can never get a straight answer. Answers are full of legal gobbledygook, should be a simple yes or no question. It is a pain to file a credit bureau fraud alert, and must be repeated every 90 days. I just wish I could get a simple yes/no answer or a statement of what each service (fraud alert vs Lifelock) does and doesn't do in protecting my identity. Disappointed.

From the moment we tried to set up two accounts, the process was extremely confusing, time consuming, frustrating, and disappointing considering their advertising. They never could get the mailing address vs. physical address correct which resulted in their mail going to wrong places! We really expected this to be basics and not an issue to have caused so many problems.
Our credit card companies identity security systems notified us when in seconds of credit bureau inquiries, on new accounts being set up and an auto purchase... yet NEVER heard a word from Lifelock. Finally the process of canceling the accounts was equally frustrating. We first tried to cancel online. We then called but they kept forwarding us to different departments and putting us on hold resulting in much more frustration on our part. Their last representative become sarcastic and rude which I truly do not feel represented most of their reps but was not a good time for it to happen.
Beware of LifeLock! Try security services that your credit card company might provide for free instead. The credit card companies actually watch multi credit bureaus and LifeLock DOES NOT. They only watch Experian. Many credit card companies security services also watch the DarkWeb on your behalf. Lifelock was Very Disappointing! I hope they get their problems resolved.

Recently somebody set up an account on LifeLock in my wife's name using her SS# and other private information. We believe this was an attempt for us to add more information to the account they set up to phish for more specific credit card and banking info. We have called 5 times to speak to agents then to supervisors in an attempt to try to find out if this is a known problem and or for more info to make a police report. I couldn't even get LifeLock to issue me a letter to give to the credit bureaus to get a 7 year fraud alert on my wife's credit. There is not one person who really cared about our problem and would not even forward our complaint to a higher authority! When I asked to speak to the fraud department I was told that "we don't have a fraud department"? I have read all these positive reports and wonder why I can't get someone to help me?

I've had LifeLock for around 12 years. I saw it on a TV ad and seemed like a good idea to me at the time so I joined and started with the lowest coverage, but now I got the full coverage. I went through a separation with my wife and she was one of those that still had money in the bank account as long as we had checks in the checkbook. I decided when she left that I did not want to have her take cards out in my name which I told her as well so I got LifeLock for that. All those years, I never had any problems with anybody taking my identity. But then this year, I had five different attempts. It was in November and it was a credit card with a home state in New York. They bought stuff in Atlanta which I didn't know until I got the first bill.
I got a hold of the LifeLock and when we started the whole thing, they caught one then three more popped up. So, I thought it was just the same person going in different places. And then, I even had one here in Arkansas that tried to change my address. They went through the post office from here to Atlanta, Georgia. We got all of that stopped. A lady and I were on the phone for two and a half hours calling different people, knowing where this person had tried to get credit cards from, canceling it and putting up the deal. She even went a step further. We talked to Equifax and put the alert down on it. I had really good service and they walked me through everything so it worked out great. I've recommended LifeLock to about 50 people that I know here.

My identity has been getting stolen. I went online, looked at the options, and then called LifeLock. I did their basic option because I wanted somebody to monitor new credit accounts if they were open. I was doing it myself, but it got to the point where I was wasting too much of my own time so I did it with them. They’ve been good and saved me time. Customer service has been awesome. When they called, they had about three or four accounts that this guy tried to open in my name. They got ahold of all the places they needed to and got the accounts shut down in one call. Every rep I’ve spoken to was pretty good. I’ve been impressed because when you’re dealing with a big service like that, they have a lot of employees. If somebody was going through an identity theft issue, LifeLock is a good option to help them deal with the problem.

There was a specific issue that happened that had to do with my income tax for my CPA. LifeLock has been very good, and they've called me whenever there's been a problem. They ask if this is a good time and whatever the issue is, they describe it and what action they will be taking on my behalf. They're very professional, courteous and competent people. My identity was stolen through the Equifax breached security and I first found out when I checked my mailbox. There were four pieces of mail saying where my credit cards were used and that my account had to be locked since my address didn’t match up. It was horrible and I spent so much time calling different people to let them know that I did not do this. I had to do my affidavits that came through the mail.
My husband said that the creator of LifeLock created the system that secured people’s credit and if anybody tried to steal their identity, it would be a lot harder with LifeLock. I've been a member for about three months now and it has made me feel so much better because I had been so violated. That’s been the best thing ever. My husband also got it and we’re going to keep it. We’re never going to cancel it and I’ll recommend them to anybody.
I tell other people of my experiences with Lifelock and how they've helped us. There was one time they sent me an alert on an online loan application that someone tried to open. They asked if it was me to which I said no. I also tell others of the packages that LifeLock offers. They have the small package, the medium one which is what we have and they also have another one. Others can get their package for $5 or $7 a month and it’s worth it. That way, they won't have to worry and LifeLock will do all the worrying for them. They send alerts, ask "Is this you?" and they shut it right down. They investigate and they’ll call you and the company. In my experience when I was doing it on all the other places like Macy’s and I was calling them to let them know that my identity had been stolen, it took me forever to get through the prompts. With LifeLock, I don’t have to do that. They call straight in. So far, it's been a great experience.

I had identity theft. I saw LifeLock's advertisements on TV and I liked all the things that they represented. I thought it would be a better choice for me so I used them. And I definitely made a good choice. They’ve already helped me three times. Somebody tried to use my identity and they asked if it was me and when I said no, they investigated. They talked to the place that somebody tried to get credit with. They decided that it was fraud and so they didn't process the application. They helped me straighten it out. Sometimes, I had a three-way conversation.
They follow through so it’s wonderful. I feel somebody is in my corner. When the identify theft first happened, I didn’t have them and it was a nightmare. Their team has been wonderful and they went out of their way to help me and made me understand what’s going on. I just wish that they follow-up every once in a while with their customers as I don’t really hear from them unless something is going on. It would be nice to know that my own representative that I have is still around and follows me. I know he is in the background but I never hear from him.

We were considering not renewing LifeLock. My identity had been stolen and all the advertising Lifelock does is not quite accurate, as the bulk of the work is done by the customer. So, I felt I could probably manage any future problems myself. When my husband called in, the company offered a very enticing price to continue using them. Since I am the primary, I had to answer security questions. I failed the security questions because the addresses they gave were the addresses associated with the persons who had stolen my ID! My own address was consider wrong!!! They thought I was the fraudulent person! There is no way I will ever use them again.

I like LifeLock. With everything that is going on in these days you never know. It's better to be safe than sorry. One time somebody tried to get credit and LifeLock asked if it was me. I did apply for the thing but not on the date and with the company that they were giving me. So they helped with that a lot and had that taken out my credit report. The gentleman who helped me do that was really nice. He was professional all the way and he helped me in every way he could. He stayed on the phone with us. Everything is good with LifeLock and I'm already trying to get my son to get it.

I was on the computer one day and I saw LifeLock on the computer and I went ahead and signed up for it. It sounded like a good idea. And it turned that it was because two weeks later we got hit. We had someone that was applying for credit cards in our name. We called LifeLock back when they called us and said this was happening. They did an excellent job. Every time we’ve had to deal with them they did an excellent job. Every time we had a problem they took care of it immediately and got the other people on the phone and took care of it while we were waiting. I would tell my friends that should sign up for it.

I was part of that Equifax breach and I was a big time victim of identity theft. I’ve known about Lifelock for a long time and I have them for a while now. I have their monitoring services and they've been great. Having them has been helping with my peace of mind and they really seem to care about the issue. Anytime I’ve had to interact with them, they’ve been very helpful. They’ve also called me a number of times for alerts now. They missed the Amex issue but they don't have a relationship with them. So Lifelock doesn't cover every single outlet but that's not their fault.

During the holiday season I received multiple bank account alerts from LifeLock. When I attempted to call LifeLock and investigate these alerts, I had all of my calls automatically routed to call centers OUTSIDE THE U.S. I was told the foreign staff members taking the calls that U.S. call centers were closed. This means ** during the BUSIEST SHOPPING TIME OF THE YEAR** LifeLock was not open to protect my ID. Instead LifeLock made all of my ID information available to unknown staff in foreign countries.

LifeLock has been tremendous. They did great the last time I needed them. I've been using them for 6 years and about three months ago, they helped me out when I had a little problem with my real estate company. I had a mistaken identity issue. LifeLock has been easy to get a hold of. They called me and said there was a court case but I didn't have much time myself. They contacted me at 6 o'clock in the morning the next day saying, they're trying to get me some representation at the courthouse before I showed up at my case with the court. They planned to do everything they can. But it was a short notice they couldn't get somebody there for me. Still, they've been very responsive. They were surprisingly effective and they did a really good job. They were like Tasmanian devils, they would do everything they could in such a short period. After it was settled or taken care of, they still check out for my family.

I called because it appears a new mortgage was taken out in my name. I have been a member several years and this is the first time I called with a concern, but they basically told me I needed to follow up with the bank on this. I don't know how and I thought this was the service they would perform. Not sure what I am paying for... guess it is for the insurance when/if this really is fraudulent since they don't seem to care to check if it is fraudulent.

Two years ago, I was robbed, and they got all my information. So, I joined LifeLock right away because I wanted to make sure that they didn’t go out there trying to do anything. I got the basic program where LifeLock monitors my accounts and credit cards, and if anybody is using my name. In fact, about two weeks ago, somebody tried to get a credit card through Synchrony Bank worth $20,000 line of credit under my name. LifeLock caught it, and they got a hold of me right away. I then called them, as well as Synchrony Bank and they asked some questions. I told them that I did not apply for any line of credit there, so they denied it.

LifeLock is very good, but it’s very frustrating. I keep looking at my record a lot and I go to this drill, five times a year. I’d love to know if they ever convicted any of these people. None of these guys is held accountable. For me, it’s like I haven’t had a mortgage in 30 years. I kept in my whole lifetime, I’ve been charged $2 in filing charges. LifeLock is a necessary evil. I didn’t get it until relatively recently and I thought that the day was going to come that I have to deal with this. It’s like you get casualty insurance for your home or your car or you get medical insurance. But their people are very professional. They’re very good, very efficient, and they know the drill.

With the experience I’ve had online with buying, I needed LifeLock. Because if something that was bought and it didn’t look quite right, LifeLock gets to it and they contact you. I had a discrepancy with some transaction. Somebody tried to get an account to JCPenny, and they used my information. LifeLock got in touch with me through email and I clicked and talked to somebody. They got in with the other company and we settled it right there. We were on hold for about three minutes waiting for the other company to come online, but it was well worth it. I won’t give up LifeLock for anything. It was awesome and I’m really satisfied.

LifeLock is trustworthy and gets the job done. I'm glad I trusted them more because recently, my daughter and grandson came to live with me. I went to Texas and got my daughter out of a domestic abuse. He's on drugs and he moved another woman in his house and they tried to open five accounts in my daughter's name in one day. I had put her with LifeLock on October 6th and that happened on October 16th but LifeLock called her right away. They also tried to open two on mine. Both my daughter and I had quite a lot of interactions with the LifeLock team about the different accounts and what we should do and we got copies of everything. Now, my daughter’s daughter who lives in Michigan doesn’t have LifeLock and they opened an account on her online and got her for $900. So, I'm thankful we got LifeLock and I appreciate them. They helped and saved us. I would recommend them to anybody.

LifeLock is a safeguard for your credit to keep the credit score intact. Anything that I don’t authorize, they don’t authorize as well. They literally work hand in hand with me when a random situation arrived. They figure out if it was something that I did or somebody was trying to commit fraud. We’ve had two instances and LifeLock was very quick to catch it. One time, somebody wanted a cable and it was my SSN but it might have been an input error. The other time, somebody was trying to get a new phone with Verizon, which was weird because I already use Verizon. LifeLock let me know and then we shut the mess down before my credit goes out the window which was great.
Everybody there is very polite when I’m on the phone with them. I usually don’t have long hold times and the longest I’ve been on the phone with someone was about 20 minutes and that was because we had to connect with someone and have a conference call. Everything is taken care of very promptly and it’s really a very helpful service. I’m very happy with LifeLock.

I’m not aware much in the way of competition for LifeLock but I’ve been working with the credit bureaus and they don’t really do enough and I left like I needed LifeLock to help me correct errors and to follow up with any kind of creditor who is fraudulently being contacted using my information to try and rectify these problems. I signed up for 9.99 a month. A couple of times they’ve gotten on the phone with credit card companies that have been conducted fraudulently and we’ve worked through it together to get those inquiries off my credit report.
I’ve gotten text alerts on the phone. They call me and then they tell me who they wanted to bring in to the call. They follow up with Synchrony Bank or whoever it is, get them on the line, and I fill them in and then they get off and they pull in another one if necessary. I wish there was more that could be done. I was hoping that LifeLock would work with me in places like Synchrony Bank which handle credit cards for a lot of retailers to shut them down. What infuriates me is that I have to deal with some aspect of Synchrony bank every couple of months and they won’t put a lock on my information.
LifeLock has helped clean things up on the credit reports that might mount up in the long run just more timely. I wish they would be more of an advocate. It doesn’t seem like they have any power to do anything and I wish they would act more on my behalf with some of these creditors because they’re not providing enough value in that regard. I want them to empower themselves one way or the other, whether it’s through new laws or legislation or whether it’s just talking to politicians or talking to creditors about better protecting their customer’s identity and information. They could take a huge role nationally and help shut a lot of these problems down. My fear is that they don’t want to fix the problem too well because there may be added work. I wouldn’t encourage my friends to get LifeLock.

I started to get a lot of banks calling me to ask if I had applied for credit, and it was pretty clear that someone had gotten my information because when they repeated back the information that had been snagged, other than two more who use it, I don’t owe any money to anyone. LifeLock seemed to be the most popular identity theft providers and with all this online lack of security, it’s a necessary evil to protect oneself. But I think it’s a little out of way for an individual to compromise by a third-party in secure systems that are supposedly charging us for their services, and don’t reimburse us for it. I’d rather not pay $30 bucks a month but it is what it is in modern society. And if I got to pay someone, I’m more than happy to receive the service that they provide.

A friend of mine had LifeLock and she had very good reviews for it. She convinced me to get one too, and I’m very satisfied with their service. They did a great job, especially with the identity thing that came up, and I’m very grateful that they immediately notified me. The alerts that I’ve been getting from LifeLock has helped me a lot, and they handled everything pretty well so that I could get it resolved. When I received the email alert that they sent me, I immediately called them, and I was very happy with how fast they acted on it.
The following day, they said that they will follow up on it. Two days later, they put me into a conference call with the institution that was involved, and they were able to resolve the issue. They were also courteous, helpful, and even the follow-up after the resolution, was very good. After that, I immediately went to my co-workers and told them how the LifeLock team handled everything. LifeLock rocks! They’re doing really well, and they should continue with what they are doing.

I've been a LifeLock member since 2008. And the reason I signed up was the ads on TV. Also, I work for a US company, but I was stationed in Asia. And I had very several horror stories told me about credit card use in certain Asian countries. I really didn't know what LifeLock would do but I felt having something was better than nothing. And I've gone for it. I'm protected. And I finally returned to the USA from Asia in the end of 2016 and we had zero problems.
My membership renews in a year. I was thinking, "Should I continue this?" And I thought, yeah, why not? So, I paid the bill. Come April, I got hammered with identity theft. It wasn't the type where they actually got into my existing accounts. It was just a whole rash of applications for new credit. And the wonderful thing was LifeLock sends you an alert. It says, "Credit was applied for in your name. Was this you?" And you go yes or no, obviously. And, obviously, I go, no that wasn't me.
So, I hit no. And they go, "Okay." And this is all done on the computer. You then get a screen that says, "We will be calling you within the hour," which they did.They then get hold of the creditor, and explained to them that this application isn't me. I'm on the phone with them. I give my personal information to the creditor.
And I thought, without something like LifeLock, if you have a problem, you wouldn't know you had a problem till it was too late. And when you find out it was too late, you wouldn't know what to do.
LifeLock is very responsive and they're patient. Whenever you talk to any customer service person with any company, you get immediate survey. And they are set question.but when you call them, they give you a phone number that somebody answers the phone. You don't suddenly get put in a loop. And you get this message. "Your call is very important to us, but your wait time is going to 15 minutes." I recommend it.

Having LifeLock seems to make sense especially in a dangerous environment like America. I called them and their colleague took care of everything. So far, they alert me when somebody may have tried to open my credit card on my behalf. One time Comcast had already alerted me, and LifeLock made sure that nothing bad will happen. Their response time has been average, though usually when you call these services, you're on hold forever. There are also some unfriendly people in a call center, but their customer service was friendly and helpful. I'm satisfied.

AOL put LifeLock on my account and on the two occasions I had to deal with them because of issues, I received absolute excellent service and they were very thorough. Just recently, they guarded me on a credit card application. They notified me that a credit card has been applied for in my name, date of birth, etc. I contacted LifeLock and they set up a telephone conversation among LifeLock, myself and Capital One. Everything got resolved right on the spot and there were no problems. Right now, I’m very happy with the whole thing.

My bank OIB had LifeLock as a perk way back 2007. When they cut that, I called and got on it on my own so I wouldn’t lose my LifeLock protection since they do a really good job. And about 2014, somebody somehow got a hold of my debit card number. It was in my wallet, I hadn’t lost it. But they got me for over $700. But the bank made that good.
Then three weeks ago, somebody tried to open a GC pin in our Coles credit card. Somehow or another, they got the approval for Coles. They used my name and an address that I had, then they got the Coles credit card. So I called LifeLock and told them. Lifelock said that I had to send in something and I had nothing to send in except for with the bank.
So, as soon as the bank open that morning because I found out about it when I checked my online banking and I saw these charges that round up to a little over $700. Lifelock took care of it. I love it. I got everything that they said I'd be getting in the script in the bank. I got the letter the other day saying that through their investigation, they proved it wasn’t me. Lifelock's a great thing to have and I told two or three people that I come across. It maybe 10 years or over before you need it, like me, but if something ever happens, I said it pays to have it.

I’ve worked in a high-tech industry and healthcare, and I’ve seen the vulnerabilities in some of the organizations that I’ve worked with. The price at LifeLock was right and the fees are reasonable, so I took it as insurance. I’ve been a member for six years and it adds a sense of security. There have been a couple of times when LifeLock has helped me out, and they’ve always been very professional. They have valid concerns when they’ve contacted me and they’ve been able to help me resolve the problems.
Once you give LifeLock information, you can choose how much you want them to monitor in terms of credit cards and such. And if there’s a problem, you can contact them. I had a couple of attempts at my information, and LifeLock walked me through the process of shutting those two attempts found and then making sure that I had followed up with their recommendations. I’m at the entry-level and I realize they offer additional levels of coverage at different price ranges, but for an entry-level program, it’s excellent and I’m highly satisfied with it. I would definitely and have recommended LifeLock to others.

It made sense to have identity theft protection. Last month, someone got hold of some personal information of mine and was applying for credit. LifeLock took that up and warned me about it. I was able to change the appropriate things and got that solved. Their team was extremely helpful. It’s nerve-wracking when people are running around with your information. I wasn’t quite sure what to do, but they walked me through and followed up to make sure that things were working properly. They’ve accomplished all the things that I hope that they would and they couldn't have been nicer. I tell my friends that LifeLock works for me.

I didn’t feel the need for LifeLock until it was revealed that Equifax has been compromised, along with Home Depot and a couple of other things. I used Norton’s security products and they came up with a deal where they offered a LifeLock membership for so many dollars per year. I said, “Oh, well, this is about time to do that.” Then a year after a current account's fraudulent activity came about so the timing was good.
Apparently somebody also tried to arrange for a pre-payday loan but I'm retired and I don’t need a loan from anybody so I did not request such a thing. LifeLock called and I told them that the information that they mentioned were not initiated by me so they handled it. My experience with the people I talked with was quite positive too. They're definitely concerned about the issues that I might have been looking at as far as the fraudulent activity. LifeLock does what they claim they can do and everything has been quite good so far. When it comes time for renewal I'm quite sure I'll renew.

We've had LifeLock for quite a few years. With the internet and everything happening, we wanted some safety. They’ve caught a few folks trying to use our credit card in Arizona. We also had some in Florida, as well as in New Jersey. From there, they contact everybody involved, from the bank to the credit agency that rates our credit, and then they stop the transaction. I was on the phone with LifeLock and the bank, and the merchant where they were trying to apply for a credit card with my name. I'd recommend them.

LifeLock has been very helpful and has done everything I've asked them to do. The only problem I have is sometimes I have to hold for 15 to 20 minutes before I can get to a team member. But they're on the ball. If something’s done on my report, they notify me immediately. I've already recommended them to three people. I told them that I signed up on a Saturday night and by Monday morning, LifeLock was already sending me reports of what was going on, how it was happening and telling me what to do and what I should have on-hand. I love LifeLock.

I was younger when I got Lifelock because my identity was stolen. It just seemed the perfect thing to do at the time. Their service has been good because recently somebody ran into my information and I got the alert. I was at work so I'm like, "Wait, I didn't apply for this application." Lifelock went the whole nine yards to try to figure out what it was, if somebody did it. They called the place where the credit was run, which was Toys R Us, and they figured everything out. I spoke to two reps and they were both great. I love it. They were very helpful as well. For those who don't have Lifelock, they need to go out and try it out especially if they had identity theft protection issues before identity theft.

I saw the commercial where the LifeLock owner was driving a van with a social security number on TV. The advertisement gave me assurance that the owner will help if anything happened, and so I became a member and since then I have peace of mind having LifeLock. We had an issue about three weeks ago when somebody was trying to get a credit card on my social security. LifeLock sent me a text. So, I called them and they took care of everything. LifeLock keeps me updated by the minute and they call me whenever they do something. Their service is affordable for anybody who wants to do this. There are different levels though, depending on how much money you pay. I’m very comfortable with the level that I am in. LifeLock knows it faster than I do if there is something happening in my credit report. My daughter, my son, and my wife are with them, too. I’m very happy with it.

I've been notified by LifeLock about attempts to open accounts on my name that were not me. I get alert notifications so I respond to it and most of it has all been online. I've also called them twice and the times that I've dealt with them have been awesome. The process was just really simple and straightforward. There's not a huge detail of report to fill out. It's been really easy at least on my end and I hope LifeLock keeps up what they're doing and keep it simple. I would highly recommend them. They keep people covered, prevents any issues especially for friends with children. I've been trying to talk my children into it.

I’ve been a LifeLock member for a number of years. The people that I’ve spoken with at LifeLock have been friendly, helpful, and supportive. Most recently, I received an alert through my email indicating that there was an account that was opened up at Freedom Bank, and I didn’t recognize the situation or the time that I spent at this bank. I’m very responsive to these alerts because of all of the stuff that’s going on in today's world with dealing personal information. So, I called LifeLock and got in contact with their alert team, and they were very helpful in connecting me to the bank. They had me on hold, and then they conferenced me to the representative at Freedom Bank and spoke to them and then verified what the situation was.
LifeLock was able to take care of the issue on the spot. And what I neglected to recall was that, recently, I had been elected to the board of my local Homeowner’s association. And in doing so, I had the need to complete a lot of paperwork to get my name and information with a number of banks in case I had to sign checks for the association. Freedom Bank was one of the banks that our assistant had us complete paperwork, and once Freedom Bank indicated that I was a member, I completed it on behalf of my homeowner’s association. I would highly recommend LifeLock. I’ve had positive experiences and hopefully, I don’t need to use them, but they’re great.

My identity was stolen and LifeLock has been helping me ever since. They're doing their job of catching things and they've been terrific. I feel a lot better that they've been doing what I expect they could do. They let me know when somebody has looked or tried to get credit. I call them and they get on the phone with the company involved. LifeLock does this all within a very short time, maybe a day or less. They get to a three-way conversation and we get the issue resolved.
One thing, however, is it's very difficult to know exactly what is covered for each of their different plans. They have different price breaks and they say they do this for that and I can't tell. I took the middle plan and I'm hoping for the best. Other than that, I like LifeLock and would tell others that it has done a good job for me. In fact, my wife took LifeLock as a result of my having it.

There’s a lot of wrongful things out there, just in the cyber world and it's scary so I reached out to LifeLock for protection. A couple of loans or a couple of credit cards were trying to be opened, being pulled under my name and I didn’t authorize those so I called in and the LifeLock team resolved it. They reached out to the merchant, did their investigation and took care of it from there. I also get text and email alerts. They're very professional and helpful. They had great customer service.

I always kept hearing about people getting their identity stolen. And because of all the fraud that’s going on, I decided to get identity theft protection. I always hear good things about LifeLock, so I decided to go with them, and I’ve been with them for a while now. Somebody got my identity, and tried to open a credit card using my information. LifeLock caught it, and the process went pretty smoothly. I got a text, as well as a notification that popped up in my phone, since I also got the app. So, I called LifeLock, and they called it off and followed up on it. They handled it, and they were great. LifeLock saved me.

I’ve been with LifeLock for a while now, and it give me peace of mind. My credit card was compromised, and people were trying to get my data and do things. So, I wanted to protect myself, and decided to get some extra protection other than just the credit card companies seeing something and calling me to ask if I made a charge, which is pretty good. Just a month ago, I got an alert from LifeLock that somebody tried to lease two different vehicles at two different times, using my information. They had my name and social security number. But because some of the information wasn’t correct, the transaction didn’t go through, and that brought a flag. So then, I can change my password.
I also had a wonderful experience with their customer service. This last week, after the two attempts to lease cars using my information, someone called me and wanted to help me. So, we contacted Geely Motors, and the leasing company, Ally Bank. We were able to contact them and put the word out to make sure that they knew it wasn’t me. Geely Motors got it all squared really easily. On the other hand, we had to spend an hour and a half with Ally Bank, trying to get them to understand what we wanted to do. They couldn’t understand, and they kept transferring us to other people. But my LifeLock representative was so patient and understanding. She stayed with me until we finally had to hang up. She called them back, got a supervisor, and got it taken care of. She never stopped and let it get out of hand.
But I’ve also had a bad experience with LifeLock. One time, my credit card company called me to tell me that there was a fraudulent charge on my credit card, and I confirmed. Two weeks later, LifeLock contacted me on the same issue, and I told them that it was already taken care of. But I stuck with LifeLock even though I was a little disappointed, and things have been great since.

I’m an identity theft victim and if it hadn’t have been for LifeLock, I would not have known about all the people that had my personal information. I have had people that opened bank accounts and tried to open credit cards everywhere. And there were 15 since April, and I’m trying to get the credit bureaus to take of the credit inquiries because it hurts my credit. LifeLock and I called one business where somebody put an application in and I asked their rep what kind of information did the person has. She told me they have my name, address, birthday, social security number, and they have it correct. LifeLock has been very helpful and I’m glad I got them. I would recommend them to anyone.

I've been a LifeLock member for quite a while. I went to have an identity theft protection because a lot of people I knew had their identities stolen and had problems so I wanted to prevent that. LifeLock worked out good for me. Their team was really good, and they called me a lot. They are really friendly, were direct to the point, and told me what was going on. They have helped me twice. I had somebody try to take my identity and had actually put in for a loan. They have caught it and got a hold of me. We then called the place and got it straightened out and they took care of the situation. I'm happy enough with LifeLock that I'm going to put my wife on LifeLock too.

LifeLock pre-alerted me of inquiries on my my credit report and inquiries from banks. They’ve also reverted about four different occasions of people trying to open accounts in my name. They have been gracious enough to reach out and want to help with the process of me alerting the companies. But the following up part was probably the important. The process that they have is more than acceptable for me and I've been pretty content with them so far. I would tell a friend who'd ask about LifeLock to just keep monitoring their credit.

LifeLock's customer service is horrendous. I had an identity theft issue and they didn’t do anything. They do a good job at catching these issues, but once they catch it, they put the ball in your court to do all the work. They sent me a large package to fill out and it was a disaster. They won't even help you until you get it back to them. It took me three weeks and I had to call them every day. They don't return phone calls and they don't return to help. Once I got to the right person who was assigned to my account, it got better. But getting to that person was three weeks of painstaking holding, emailing and calling. Half the people were rude and the other half were unintelligent. They told me they wouldn't help me unless they got a police report done. There's no guidance. I contacted the creditor who had the account opened in my name and they helped me a lot faster than LifeLock did. I haven't cancelled LifeLock, but I will not recommend them.
LifeLock spoke with this member on 01/03/2018. He said that although he was not pleased with the amount of time it took to get to the right person, the agent working on his case has been very helpful. He advised that he would recommend LifeLock to friends and family, and he intends to remain a LifeLock member.

LifeLock was offered by AOL for AOL members so I participated. So far, my experience with them has been great. My information was used for a credit card in another state the other day and they alerted me about it immediately. I was really satisfied and impressed by it. I replied to their e-mail as instructed and they replied back and were on the case. Since I didn't make the charge, they checked to see what's going on. Each time they did something, they sent me a message on what's happening, what to do, and what to expect. Then they called me and did a three-way with the state where the discrepancy occurred. They were on top of it.

A little over a year ago, my wife’s wallet was stolen and we had some problems where people tried obtaining credit cards with her name. A friend of ours had recommended LifeLock because she said she had been using it for several years and she was very well satisfied. Knowing her, we would know if she doesn’t like something. She's been a member for a while so we decided to try it.
Within the last couple of months, the same attempts resurfaced with people trying to buy phones and do all sorts of things with her credit card and LifeLock was right on the mark. And one of the things they were able to help us do was to get a credit freeze put on my wife's credit report so that nobody could access the credit file without the pin number. We didn’t know it was possible to be done which was probably one of the best things that anybody has ever suggested and reporting it to the authorities was probably one of the worst. I did a lot of legwork and got the information over to the police department and they bounced it from one area to the next and did nothing. LifeLock was superior in everything they did. Everything they suggested to do, we did and had good results. They also were really helpful. They did as much as or probably more than anybody could have done.

LifeLock has been very good. They’re very on top of my identity for me and I appreciate it. I first heard about them from my job. A notice was sent to us about Lifelock and then I started with the service. I’ve been with them for about nine years now and they have contacted me on several occasions. The first time they contacted me was after I went to Sears to buy a refrigerator. I didn’t tell Lifelock that I was moving and they would not approve me getting the Sears account. I didn’t understand that. And then about a week later they called me to confront me with this. I told them that it was me and I was moving. They told me I had not let them know this. And so now I know that if I would relocate I need to let them know before I go and purchase something and have it sent to another address.
Then one time there was an account that was opened and it wasn’t me. Someone used my Social Security number. A couple of weeks ago, they contacted again about an account at Gap. I had told them at the Gap after I first said “Okay, I would open the account” and then again, Gap wanted me to put my Social Security number. I stopped and I said, “No.” I told them to forget it. Lifelock has been great. They’ve been very helpful and on top of my life and my business. I'm very glad I found out about them and I have recommended them to friends before.

With the crooks and hoodlums in this world we live in, it's foolish not to have some protection. I got LifeLock from Rush Limbaugh and my wife and I have been with them for quite a while. It's been a good experience. We also have the upgrade. LifeLock is on top of things because I had some things going on and was notified immediately. I had a few calls from them, we straightened out a few things and I'm really happy and very thankful. And when I call and they call me, we get on with business and it works well. Their guys are excellent. I talked to several friends about LifeLock and told them that in this day and age, one needs security and I know it works because I had the experienced with it.

I was previously a customer of Lifelock and I was a victim once years ago. Someone took out a payday loan in my name and I was going to pawn something and my credit got ran and that got flagged. The local police department handled it and they did an awesome job because they were right on it and an arrest was made and that’s what got me into them. But I stopped my service when I had some credit problems and could not afford it despite the small payment. But now my credit is getting cleaned up a little bit more and I decided to better make sure it stays clean. I know they do really good work and I joined back up with them.
When someone ran my credit through AT&T LifeLock caught it. The agent was on top of it and stayed with it until it was all resolved. It took three days for it to finally get resolved where she got the answers that she was satisfied with. I told people about my experiences with them. They were impressed and I’ve recommended LifeLock to them.

I got a free one year membership with LifeLock when I bought my Vivint Home Security System. When I had an issue with the Equifax where there was a security breach and my identity was affected, LifeLock has been helping me lead through the mess. Their team has been incredible and everybody that I've ever spoken with has been excellent to deal with and have been very helpful.
Everything that I've needed to be done, they've done for me. They've really gone above and beyond even though it was a free membership. They treated me like I'm a paying person and they've done everything they possibly can to make sure that everything is working out for me. I'm still working with them on a regular basis because there are always new credit inquiries on my stuff because my information is still out there. Anybody that has any issues, I give them the number for LifeLock. I tell them that it's a great service and they have different levels of service. The plan that I'm on with them is the lowest level but I receive the top customer care.

LifeLock was widespread and we needed identity theft protection for our overall financial situation. The alerts have been good in terms of people trying to apply for credit under our stuff, but with the compromises of various credit cards that are out there, LifeLock was one place that was good to go to. The people on the phone have been great. Since I almost never have my passwords, I need to work through some of the issues which never happens at very opportune times, but they have been kind and diligent.

I've been a LifeLock member for at least 15 years. I had something through another company and they were okay but LifeLock seemed better and the price wasn't bad, so I thought I'd give them a try. If anything happens like when I try to open an account somewhere, I get a call on my home phone and my cell phone, and text messages right away.
Recently, there was a charge on my account but it wasn't me. Somebody tried to hook up a cell phone on my account. I told them about it and they stopped it instantly. I didn't know who those people were but they did. For me to hunt around trying to find the phone number wasn't worth it, but they get to the right people in a minute or two. Then the LifeLock person, the person at the credit card company and I had a discussion on the phone. LifeLock handled everything so I just sat there and listened. Their reps were very courteous and very business-like. They knew the ins and outs and made recommendations on what to do.
Also one time, they offered my wife a big discount opening an account with a store. If somebody else was trying to open an account in my name, I wouldn't want them to do that. There's a price to be paid for securing your identity and part of that price is there may be a time when it might be a little inconvenient. But we got it worked out. LifeLock's great and they're better than what I expected.

LifeLock is certainly better than no protection. However, most financial firms are moving to "two-factor" authentication at login (this is a good thing!). At this point it appears this disables LifeLock alerts and makes the service much less valuable. LifeLock needs to work with companies to figure this out. Otherwise, they will lose when a competitor figures it out.

I've been with LifeLock for about five years, but I never had to contact them for anything. Until December of last year, I found out somebody had evidently purchased a telephone somewhere using my identity. It ended up getting charged to my checking account and I caught it right away, the very day that it happened, because I check my checking account almost every day or every other day. I contacted the bank and said I didn’t do that. The bank took care of it. We created a new checking account, transferred all my money over there, they canceled the payment of that bill, and everything was fine. But then about June of this year, I found out that somebody had opened up some utility bills in St. Louis, Missouri. There was a gas bill, an electric bill, a cable bill, everything all in St. Louis, Missouri.
That’s when I decided, I better see if LifeLock can help me with this. At that time, I was unaware of the different levels of support that LifeLock supplies. I didn’t have a support where they monitor things to contact me if something happens. But as soon as I found out about that I owed some money to a creditor out there, I checked into it and found out it was a gas company in St. Louis. I did further checking and when I talked to the people at the gas company, they said, “Well, if this person did this for the gas company, I’m sure they did it for the electric too.” So I called the electric company and they said that I have a bill. That’s when I decided I better call LifeLock and find out what can be done with it.
They sent me forms I had to fill out. And they’ve told me that I should contact my local police because to have a police record. I was always in contact with the same person at LifeLock, which was nice. This person really knew as soon as I told him who I was. If I was calling, they would respond knowing what we’re dealing with. They took care of contacting these companies and verifying that it was identify theft. And then, one by one, these companies would agree. The person at LifeLock would send me an email saying that the company agreed with me, and that I’ll be receiving a letter from them. And each time that would happen, they would notify me ahead of time and sure enough within a day or two, I received a letter from this company saying that my bill was canceled because they recognized it as an identity theft.
It worked out well. There were friends of mine that had said that they had problems with identity theft in the past, and it took them years to get things straightened out. It all started a year ago this month and then I didn’t know anything until June. But back a few weeks ago, I got the last letter saying that I’m in the clear for now. I also notified LifeLock that I wanted to go the next level up where they would be looking at this stuff ahead of time so I would know what’s going on and if anything unusual happens. I’m very satisfied with LifeLock.

LifeLock was the only one that I'd heard about years ago with the reputation for being able to protect us. They were also the first ones to come along with the follow-up of investigations when we were victims of identity theft. There was no doubt in my mind that they were the best in what they do and that’s what I like to hire. I’ve been the subject of identity theft twice this year, and they took care of it immediately. They connected me with the bank that was approached by the fraud, and then they also set up the warning on the Equifax and all of those that had to call me before getting out any information. Everything has been excellent and I couldn’t be happier. I tell all my friends and anyone that asks about it because LifeLock has been so proactive in getting things taken care of right away.

I had thought about getting identity theft protection for several months. And then I had a break in to an automobile in Dallas, Texas at a hotel. That theft took place October 16th and my wallet was stolen too. I didn't keep any valuables in there except for my social security card so I better try and get something to protect myself. I got LifeLock and I knew them from their advertisement when I listened to Rush Limbaugh summer. It is also on TV. I’ve been with them now for about a year and a half and my experiences have been fantastic. I've been treated very well. I've had a few occasions already where someone used my Social Security number. They tried to take my identity but I was able to stop it. It's not identity theft per se, they tried to use it for purchases, credit cards and different things in that nature and LifeLock took care of that for me.
They've been very opportunistic in such a way that they’re very alert to people using my information and in getting back to me in a very timely manner. They took care of all the issues and spoke with various vendors as needed. They answered my needs as I was expecting to and they’re very thorough with my business. They’ve done me very well and I'm very pleased to be a member, always will be. I'd tell friends that LifeLock is worth their money and the time that it takes to sign up. For any situation where one’s identity is threatened, it is the thing to have.

AOL offered LifeLock as a part of my membership and I accepted it. I had a fraud alert and LifeLock’s reps were very helpful, very kind, very friendly, and very nice. I bought a new set of tires at the Ford dealer and applied for a Ford credit card to get the rebate. I got a notice from my Discover card, who watches my everything, and sent an alert that somebody tried to open an account in my name in South Dakota and I didn’t know anybody in South Dakota. I called Discover and said I didn’t know anything about that. So, they started the fraud alert and we got the second and third notices. Each time I got a call, and the third time was down in Arkansas, she said, “Oh, that’s the bank that Ford uses.”

A few years ago, the government advised me that someone tried to file from my tax return and I've been using a pin for about five years. When we had the fraudulent account, LifeLock was very helpful in getting that resolved. They handled the fraudulent account in Florida and we went through a routine. I've had very smooth interactions with their reps. We're still in the first year with them and we’re very satisfied. LifeLock doesn’t press for additional coverage and they accept what we request then they follow through in everything they're supposed to do. They’re very helpful in time of anxiety.

I got LifeLock for was free through AOL since I'm paying for their service. I had an identity theft issue and when I called AOL, they first said I was covered with LifeLock. I started the process and forgot that I had LifeLock the first day but I called them because Sprint drag these things on for so long, and as an individual, you never know what they’re doing. The rep, Parker, gave me good service and I felt he knew what he was doing. The process dragged on but that wasn’t his fault. That was Sprint’s fault. He sent me an email saying they we’re checking on it and they’ll let me know as soon as possible. Then, he let me know when it was finished. I find nothing wrong with your company. You ask me to re-enter all my information, I do so, next day re enter all your information again. It never ends, every day I fill out new bank info. You evidently never receive the info I enter. I ask you to call tell what I am doing wrong. You say you are to busy to call? So what do I do? Just tell me why the info never enters the records?

I am 70, years old and need help with technology, I wanted to talk to someone and have a passcode. I was told I would be called back in 30 minutes. Instead I got text messages to get my credit card out and pay for a service I already had. I do have a problem with loading my bank account on the computer, but I am working on that. I never did get the call from you and it's been 2 hours.

Some companies use “free” trial offers as a lure, but don't make their cancellation policies obvious. LifeLock is such a company. They offer a 2 month money back trail but read the small print, unless you sign up and pay for an annual subscription (very small print) you will not get your refund. Based on my experience good luck getting your annual subscription refund if you choose to cancel. Remember these guys are owned by Equifax. Learn about credit freezes instead.

I work for the Stockton Police Department as a Civilian Responder so I had written thousands of ID theft and credit card fraud reports in the last 21 years. A lot of the credit reporting fraud services were literally like, “Hey John, the doors to your barn are open," but they do nothing to help you get your horses back. How many times identity theft happened, how long it took my victims to get their name cleared and how much it cost them financially were a royal pain in the ass. LifeLock seemed to be able to advise you when things are going bad and how to restore information in your good name so that’s why I went with them.
After the Equifax hack, my bank and personal account and my information were used fraudulently in attempts to open up different accounts with credit unions and banks. LifeLock assisted me getting the file started, contacting and getting the alerts established with all three reporting agencies and then actually freezing my information with those agencies. LifeLock took a lot of the legwork out for me and they were always sending me information via email and then snail mail. I also had a primary and a second person assigned and they were both extremely helpful. They probably had a huge caseload since the Equifax hack and they still took their time to help me solve my issues. LifeLock definitely appeared knowledgeable and the experience has been very reassuring. They were supportive in their counseling, as well as professional and polite. They're definitely one of the better companies I’ve dealt with in my career.

Typed e-mail documenting issue. Response didn't even address my issue. As if they did not even read it. Called customer support. Same issue. Took around 30 minutes to finally get them to start listening so they could look into the bug I was reporting. It should not be that difficult to let a company know of an issue they are having with their software.

I have gotten my identity stolen twice so I needed somebody who was really going to protect and back-up my identity. I've had my issue fixed as I've been with LifeLock and they seemed to be more professional and in-depth as far as protecting my identity and being able to guarantee that. I talked to live people, not machines and they were with me every step of the way. They helped me contact the Credit Bureau and I did everything LifeLock told me to do. I had to get a police report about it and LifeLock let me know what was going on the whole time. They got it resolved and if something happens again, they would go to no end to get it straightened out. I'm disabled so I don't have a lot of money to be spending on something that's not going to benefit me and I feel like this money was well-spent.

I had identity theft protection with Wells Fargo but they dropped it this November so I got LifeLock. I had some problems with somebody tapping into my account so I went to the credit card that we were using and then I called LifeLock. It was good timing since I had just started with them. Their restoration team was good. The people have been very responsive and kept me up to date on things. I'm satisfied with it.

I've had LifeLock for over 10 years now as a precaution. Back in July, someone from North Carolina opened an account with DISH Network with my social security number and I only found out about it because American Express told me there was a change in my credit report. It was knocked down 20 points which didn't hurt me none. But I went and looked at that and there was a collection agency looking for me but they had a North Carolina address and I never lived there. I contacted them and they gave me all the information. From what they told me, the guy only owed $300 and he had the account for a year. It was probably not a big enough amount to alert LifeLock.
I contacted LifeLock at a later day to handle it and the rep was real good. She emailed and also called me several times to find out how we were doing and making progress. Every time I called customer service, I didn't wait more than two minutes either and they were helpful. Luckily, with the affidavits, police report and LifeLock talking to DISH Network, they finally figured out that it wasn't me. We got it resolved within 30 days although it's not totally back to the way it was. They're still with the credit bureau to get taken off of the credit report. The rep had requested this credit report to be sent to me but they never responded. She tried the second time but I still haven't heard anything from them.
Two weeks ago, I went on the website of the credit union I belong to and I noticed there were some unauthorized charges as well. They think it was the card reader when I used the debit card to cut the information but they didn't charge all that much, maybe $400. I notified the bank right away and cancelled the card then they sent me a form to fill out. I notified LifeLock and they were helpful there too. I wanted to refund the money and they sent me the packet through the email for the insurance. I like the service and I've even recommended LifeLock to a couple of friends of mine.

I always had people trying to steal my ID before and I got scams coming up all the time, with the scammers telling me that they were monitoring my consumer credit, so I decided to get identity theft protection. I heard from other people that LifeLock was good, so I gave them a shot. They got right to the point and got everything done, and they did a great job. at one time, somebody bought some phones in Washington using my social security number. LifeLock told me about it and they asked me to confirm if I, in fact, got phones from Sprint, and I told them that I didn't. We contacted Sprint and LifeLock took care of all of the paperwork to make sure that this transaction was taken off from the credit report.

LifeLock has a very convincing commercial and it’s what my lawyer uses, so I called them and I was started on October 5th. Two weeks ago, my credit report showed things that are not true, and I immediately called my lawyer. I have been in contact with LifeLock about that a few times and the reps were as nice as they can be and they appear to have been able to pinpoint what's going on. Theoretically, these things in the credit report are going to go away if they’re proven to be fraud and that's what LifeLock is supposed to be doing for me. So, there's a lot of ‘supposedly’ and if everything that everybody is telling me is being done, then it's a fact because it's 100% not me. No one could dispute that to me because I know I didn't get these three credit cards from Office Depot, J.C. Penney and Khol's. Khol's is where one got $900 something worth and the other two were turned down, which kind of weirds me out because I have good credit.
I got a police report and the credit bureau did a 90-day freeze on my account. If LifeLock does what they say they're going to do and they have done what they said they did, then they're awesome. It’s their business, and as far as their kindness, they're perfect. They said, "Usually, you have to email something." And I said, "Well, that never seems to get me." And they give me some number that gets me right to a place where it made it a lot easier to get things done. They had great suggestions which they did and I did, and I really want the problem fixed.

The Rush Limbaugh show recommended LifeLock on the radio. I recently had my identity stolen in two cases. I was reported that I had subscribed to something which I didn't do. I also had a credit card charge that wasn't mine for $1000 trip. I called Lifelock about it and they made a case out of it. They put me on credit alert and they're watching my credit for me. The reps were very helpful and resourceful. They were also considerate that I was under stress and they handled it perfectly. LifeLock is a needed kind of thing.

We were concerned with the rise of identity theft, so we decided to get identity theft protection. LifeLock seemed to be the most convenient, and I also liked the services they provided with the app and online services. So, we went with them, and have been with them for at least three years now. Recently, I got a notification that somebody had opened up an account at Sprint in my name. LifeLock went to Sprint and also T-Mobile and I found out about it on the same day. I was able to file a police report and was able to have that account shut down on the same day that they were opened.
Then, over the course of basically a week and a half, they tried five more places. And they were all denied at each place they went because the fraud alert was able to be placed on my account. Otherwise, I would have had bills just piling up in my mailbox. When accidents like this happen, I get a case manager that I can email and I'm going to direct a phone number for. These case managers have been great as far as telling them that I can't talk until 11, and then they are great about walking you through.
They email you some resources you need to look at and some forms to fill out. But the biggest thing about them is the third-party calls. Like when they made the phone call to T-Mobile and they knew the phone numbers to use. And then they explained the situation to the operator so when you come on the line, the person is already aware why you're calling. You don't have to explain it for the 15th time. And they just take the necessary steps to get it corrected. Getting that same day notification was also huge because I was able to file a police report. My account was closed and it definitely saved me from all the hassle. I’d have had those bills showing up and I wouldn’t have known what to do. Overall, LifeLock was a lifesaver. It definitely made a difference in protecting my identity.

LifeLock helped me out a lot with the fraud that was on my account four months ago and they alerted me that someone was trying to check my credit. They caught it in time because I called up all the credit unions and put a hold on it for three months. There had been a couple breaches over the years and now it happened again with Equifax. This happened two times in five months, so it's got to be somebody I know that knows all my information. Someone ordered merchandise online from Saks and Equifax won't tell me where it was sent to. Equifax has insurance and they don't care. LifeLock cares but they're just an agency that monitors everything.
The team there at LifeLock was very good. I was on the phone back and forth with them because they had called all the consumer agencies like Dell Computers and they spent a lot of time with me. The people that I dealt with definitely had a high level of knowledge. They knew what they were doing and they point you in the right direction. The cost of the program in relation to the quality of service is fairly low, and for what I pay, it was worth it, because peace of mind is the main thing. As far as pressing charges, I went to the police and got a report but they said they would help me if I could get any information. I can't get any, so it's unfair if I want to do something. Now I have a hold on my account for seven years so nobody can do this for that period. Hopefully, it won't happen again.

I asked my partner if she would be interested in LifeLock, but she didn't feel ID theft services were worthwhile, and declined to sign up. I've had my identity tampered with multiple times, and someone stole my Social Security number and do phony tax files on me. My name and Social Security number is out there now, so we've had to lock down everything. LifeLock monitors checking accounts, which not all protection providers do, so my wife chose them. LifeLock identified this last time that someone was opening up a checking account on it. They notified me about it and we were able to capture it before it actually caused me a big problem. The team at LifeLock has been pleasant and they’ve been very responsive to emails, giving me all the right information and telling me where I needed to go. I would recommend them.

I've been a LifeLock member for so long. Getting identity theft protection seemed like a smart thing to do and they were the only one that I wanted to go with. Right now I have an identity thing going on. It's somebody who applied for FEMA and he was going to apply for a loan. I don’t think that would have alerted LifeLock to a problem because we had a hurricane here. So, I alerted them and they put an extra level of security on my account and I really enjoy working with them. Every time I called the customer service people are wonderful. They were all very knowledgeable and pleasant. I'm not the most computer literate person in the world and they worked with me if I'm trying to do something with my computer while talking to them. I added my husband last year and it was a very smooth and effortless transaction. I've just had an overall very pleasant experience and I've already recommended them to two other people.

Someone stole my identity and I was scared. I really didn't know what to do. LifeLock just went through the whole thing with me from the beginning to the end. They came in, start working with me, calling me and made sure everything was okay. My credit score is coming back up because it was 783 and went down to the low three. I'm receiving letters from different companies that LifeLock helped me with or they're telling me what to do and restore my credit. The reps were very nice and are pretty patient with me. The rep answered all of my questions. It wasn't about one or two, but she answered them right away. I wouldn't have been able to do it by myself. That's why I have talked to my employees to consider getting LifeLock.
One of my co-workers, went through something like I did. I had told him, "See there, if you had gotten LifeLock like I asked, you wouldn't have been going through all this by yourself and putting out all these ridiculous money and then still nothing has been done." I don't see how anybody can make it without LifeLock. I don't care how business savvy you are, you need protection. LifeLock is well worth the cost.

My fiancé has been a LifeLock customer for years now and she put me on her account. I've been doing most of my monitoring myself but I figured it'd be better if I have somebody watching me watching it. LifeLock was on top of everything and I had a fantastic experience with them. They know what they're doing, they're very personal about it, and they follow-up. They put me in all the right places at the right time with the Federal Trade Commission, the police, the two creditors that I've never asked for and the credit reporting agencies. LifeLock is one of the benefits that AOL offers. I've had a number of problems over the years where my account had been used by someone else and there were charges on my account that weren’t mine. When AOL offered it as part of the monthly amount that I pay for, I signed up for it. Recently, they contacted me and said that they noticed some unusual activity on my account. They asked me if it was a charge for an account that I had opened and I said no. So, they did the investigating. They sent me all the paperwork and I had to go to the police department and report a fraud on my account.
What happened with this recent incident was that someone had opened two charge accounts in my name. A store that I have never even heard of before sent some merchandise to my former office. They used the address of my former office and a package had gone there. I had just moved my office in April and the owner of the building called and told me I have a package there waiting for me. I thought it was maybe something I had ordered from Staples or something that just went there instead of to the new office.
When I went there on my own, I didn't even know what it was. That same afternoon LifeLock called and said they had noticed this has happened. They caught it quickly and were able to get any damages reversed. The accounts were both closed. They had it taken off of my credit report and they got in touch with the bank who issues the credit card for that company. They had me on the phone with them, talking to them, asking what had happened, etc, and it was all taken care of fairly quickly.
The reps are very knowledgeable and very pleasant. They follow everything up with emails, explaining everything with all the forms. They assigned someone from the restoration team to me so I can email or call them anytime I want or anytime I have a question. What I found out when I went to the police department to report this was the police looked it up and found a second account that was just opened at the same company in my name. So, I called LifeLock back and I told them, and then they proceeded to do the whole thing for the second account to make sure that one was closed out as well. And then, they sent an email but they also sent a letter through the mail telling me that the claim has been recovered and everything is all set and closed out. They're very good about it. They took charge of everything and did it all for me.

My dad signed me up with LifeLock after we found out that my social security number was stolen. I've had them since October 7 and it's helpful because they've alerted me every time a credit card has been opened in my name or, any type of my personal information has come up through an application. My case worker, Jennifer, is a sweet lady. She is marvelous. She did everything she could to help me when I presented my case of identity theft. She was the only one who gave any kind of positive hope. I went to AT&T, Yahoo, and even made a police report, and I kept going around in circles. Then, I remembered I have LifeLock which I’ve been paying for for years. I’m very happy that LifeLock cares as compared to everybody else that takes the report and does nothing. The experience with LifeLock has been very uplifting and wholesome. Unfortunately, there’s not a lot that they can do for me as they have gone through the motions. It is now up to me to sue these thieves.

I've enjoyed my experience with LifeLock immensely. I had my identity stolen twice, but LifeLock nipped it in the bud both times and I didn’t lose anything. Both were credit cards filled out in my name by other people. There's a little $907 damage on one but I kept telling the people that it's not mine and LifeLock finally got a hold of them. I had talked with a few of the people at LifeLock and they’ve always done really great. They’ve steered me in the right direction and took care of me. They’ve also been nice, friendly, courteous and business-like. I have the peace of mind that I don’t have to worry about people taking my goodies.

In 2015 when the IRS was breached, I was given a free thing for Experian and I also got an advertisement for LifeLock and I signed up for both. I had a couple of breaches and LifeLock alerted me in time to stop it and prevent any problems. The LifeLock team has been awesome. They were right there for me, they answered my questions, and they gave me numbers to call back so I'd know how to get them if I have other problems. I recommend people to look into LifeLock's products if they've been a victim of fraud or if their credit numbers have been stolen. They should check out what would work best for them and sign up with LifeLock.

The response I received from the customer service representative I first contacted was not helpful. Subsequently I was contacted by another customer service representative who explained the coverage I have with my subscription to LifeLock. In short it does include protection against property title theft. I appreciated the thoroughness of the second response. Too bad I had to follow up to get a complete response to my question. My fear is that most people will just accept the initial response which in my case was inaccurate and confusing and not pursue it.

I asked a question about title theft which is being discussed on the television and commercials where they’re selling title theft insurance. The representative told me my flock does not have such coverage and if I was looking for it I should contact some other company that offers such coverage. Offered no insight into the topic or the reality of such a “title theft” was something of concern. Very unhelpful. Very disappointed.

I had LifeLock for several years before and then I canceled it. The world just changed a lot and I felt the need was there to have LifeLock again and so I did. Then we had a problem so I'm glad I had it this time and I'll probably just keep it unless we get so poor that we can't afford to pay for it. It really saved us a bundle of money because our identity was stolen. The hackers had taken our name, our identity and made some purchases. LifeLock took care of the problem and our credit was restored. It wasn't a lot of money for others but to retirees, like we are, it was a lot of money. Although, I only had one problem. It's hard to communicate a lot of times when you want to communicate with them. But it worked out okay. I just sent the rep an email and he got my answer and emailed it back to me. A lot of times it was a lot faster than some service anyway.

I had a couple of my credit cards used fraudulently and I thought of having security to assist me with that because perpetrators were using them in Mexico and places that I've never been. I’ve got the $19.99 a month plan from LifeLock and they monitor all my credit cards and everything that I'm using. The setup was really easy. I did most of it online but whenever I have to call with one of the representatives, she was down to earth and very sympathetic with my situation. Also, I was able to reach out to her via email anytime I had a question. Her name is Nicole and I could contact her any time.
Recently, somebody opened a Comcast account in my name and charged up a thousand dollars on its bill. Then somehow Comcast started contacting me and letting me know that I need to pay this money. So I contacted LifeLock and Iet them know that there was a fraudulent account set up in my name. I worked with one of their representatives and she was really nice and easy to talk to. She was also courteous and gave me all the information I needed to fill out, which was super easy. Eventually, everything was resolved and I didn't have to pay any money for that debt that was owed. I'm happy that I had LifeLock because it's nice to have somebody that would help me with the process and work on my behalf. Plus, everything is monitored through the app and it is easy to use.

They start you free at top $1,000,000.00 and the credit report they ran from bureaus didn't reflect what I had rec'd from bank. Was told not to run my own, that it would be the same. Made me think, something was wrong. I paid for all 3 and scores were more in line, than theirs! And they do a scare tactic. I have AAA and can get free coverage Experian, they have (2) Accessible and the one for $1,000,000.00 for $8.95 per person, which I'm going to change to the $8.95. AAA has been around a lot longer than LifeLock and I don't like being told something that's not true and using scare tactic and they do that. My bank had recently run my credit and my score was not 30 points lower than LifeLock report from 3 Bureaus! The report I didn't print 84 pages.
UPDATE ON 11/19/2017: After using scare tactics, when I tried to cancel, the 1st month's free $1,000,000.00, I was told to call back, which the 9th of Nov. 2017, would be the 29th day, took coverage on the 11th of Oct. 2017. On the 9th, had to take mother to ER, which she remained until Sat., so, I forgot to contact LifeLock, was going to keep, but only $25,000.00 coverage and on the 10th of Nov. 2017, at 6:25 AM EST and saw I was being charged for the $1,000,000.00 on the 30th day, which was in pending and called only to find out, that to call to cancel entirely, due to charging before the free 30 days before a complete 30 days free of charge only to find out I'm speaking to the person in the Philippines, at 7:25 PM. This is supposed to be a US company, which has been bought out by another company, through Sally, who contacted me from Life Lock, because of me reporting this to ConsumerAffairs.
I will say that she said that the representatives needed more review of training of said person and other people who used scare tactics with me to keep the coverage of $25,000.00! My funds were reversed and I'm keeping AAA, free Experian coverage for right now and their 2nd tier of coverage, which is $1,000,000.00 for $8.95 because I am a member. These companies can pay for violation of your identity or your loss of funds and attorney fees, none of them can correct your credit standings, once you've been violated!

We wanted protection because we had our identity stolen and I remember seeing LifeLock’s advertisement. LifeLock was very good and it worked out wonderfully. When our identity was stolen, we had to fill up a police report and LifeLock took care of everything. Their lawyer, whom we became good friends with, was in communication with us. The bank came back and I think LifeLock said, "You have 90 days to pursue other actions," and the lawyer reminded the bank after 90 days. We gave all the information of the person to them but the lawyer really went to that. Then, the same person went back into the bank after nine days and applied for another credit card. The bank didn’t catch it, LifeLock did.

All other companies were only monitoring my credit and because I wanted someone that could handle my credit, I went with LifeLock. I got hacked in July of this year, and LifeLock investigated, got everything settled, and cleared my credit and any frauds that got claims off of my credit. Their team was always excellent. They handled everything to my satisfaction. Sometimes there were a lot of procedures but you have to do what was requested for them to conduct the investigation. I would tell people to get LifeLock. It’s better to have somebody work for you than somebody who gets your money. They will help to get your money back or clear it.

Somebody stole my identity so I got LifeLock. Everybody from there seems to be very nice. The young people that work there, Precious and Justin, have been very respectful and I really appreciate them. I got to call and talk to them today because they sent me a list of all the money that the persons who stole my identity had charged on the credit cards that they got. People out there are selling your identity and they're charging, so I told others to get protection and that Lifelock can help.

I've known about LifeLock for a while, and I've seen how they're advertising some stuff and I was going through a little identity theft so I decided to give them a chance. I liked their reputation, and they were better than other providers and were also cheaper, which was a good combination. I had an issue that popped up and the representative that I've contacted got the group on the phone. We had a three-way call and got the issue fixed. I got a letter from that company in a week stating that they got it taken care of. The outcome was better than I expected.
Anytime I've had to deal with the LifeLock team, it's been great. I hope that I'll never have to call them again. But knowing that there will be somebody that would be able to help me, helps me not to worry. And when I get a professional there to help me, it makes life easy. I'd tell my friends to sign up with LifeLock if they are constricted or concerned with anything about their credit history because they'll be there to help them.

I was under the impression the policy was for my FAMILY - then when I got a letter from them telling me they needed more info on my husband, I logged in to learn he's not protected. I felt conned, so I called to cancel my membership. I got A LOT of pushback, but finally they processed my refund. For $9. On hold now with these dirtbags to get the rest of the refund. Of course, an very long hold time. I'm fuming.

After prolonged wait a fellow hung up when I tried to cancel my bogus account because he said my "service was bad". Then for sport I called to open account. But no one was available in that department... think I'll look elsewhere. Seems shady at best...

I'm a firm believer of LifeLock. I like what they do and I have given a lot of people their name. I've been in the insurance industry all of my life and a lot of people are having trouble with identity theft. I'm a person who likes to keep all bases covered and I believe in preventing so I bought a service that can provide that. I contacted LifeLock regarding billing and they got me to the right person. They're always very nice and prompt to reply. LifeLock is a great organization.
I just started working with LifeLock on a problem and they've been very cooperative, helpful and professional. I've been dealing with two exceptional people. I sent additional information through UPS and sent the rep an email telling her it’s on its way. Another person from claims wanted to know if I had any bills or expenses pertaining to the claim. I did so I faxed the information to her. They both replied to me and I like getting those replies because I feel there's someone alive on the other end.
I've told my sister and her husband about LifeLock. I made a believer out of them and they also subscribed to LifeLock. I kept my sister and her husband in the loop with everything that I do because they're the administrator of my estate. I send copies to them through email so they can pick up where when I leave and with LifeLock, I feel secure with my transactions. I like to be kept informed because sometimes it takes time for these things to be processed.
LifeLock has given me a new lease on life. I have been working on this project since February of '16. I've been trying to settle with an attorney. But I can't get an attorney that's as enthused about it as I am. There's not that much money involved by some of these attorneys’ standards. All of a sudden, I said, "Well, why don't I report this to LifeLock?" And so, I did. They did more work for me than two attorneys have done. I kept a folder with all the legal fees that I paid. And the young lady that called and wanted to know about my expenses said this was not final. She just wanted it up to date and made me feel like she was going to pay it. The other young lady I'm working with made me feel that she knows what she's doing and that something is going to be done. I know I'm not the only one LifeLock has on their desk but they make me feel important and the only person they’re taking care of.

We subscribed to CreditCheck Total for a couple of years and went through a situation where we sold and bought a house. I had a freeze on my account, and yet they had to take the freeze off. During the 60 days, we were in the process of moving and somebody stole my identity again. I was sending one kid off to Texas A&M and it was a crisis moment. CreditCheck Total was horrible and did not take care of me, so I cancelled them. My husband called LifeLock for me and asked what they can do for us. They do not normally cover clients if it is prior to the situation, but they asked to let them sign us up and they will see what they can do. They got their recovery people and they handled the situation for me.
I had stupid questions and LifeLock was the most professional, caring company I've ever dealt with. It was wonderful. When I needed them, they sent me alerts like something changed on my credit and my address was changed back. I've had to take care of just little things going through the whole process and they monitor everything. I got phone calls from the gal asking me if I was okay and if they handled it properly after the fact. They made sure everything was wiped off my credit. I have told so many people to sign up for LifeLock since then. They do everything they say they're going to do and they took all the stress off of me. I absolutely love them and we will never be without them.

The company that I’m working with had thrown out some old computers and they didn't wipe the disk. They notified me that my information like my social security number might have been on there and they offered a free service. I took that for a while and I didn’t feel safe with that, so I added LifeLock as an agent and they are very professional and courteous. They notified me of a fraudulent account that was opened in my name or social security number and it came up on my credit account as delinquent and it went to collections. I was very satisfied with the effort in how they were able to communicate with the parties that went wrong and I feel that it's resolved in a lot of ways reaching closure. I have already recommended their service to colleagues.

I had a business and we thought we needed LifeLock for that. We've been with them for 15 years. My identity was stolen three times and it's a hassle. We figured any little thing that could help not go through that again would be appreciated. Lifelock gives me a notification by email and by telephone when they see something unusual come up. Someone tried to hack my Verizon account two times. I got big bills from Verizon. The calls were placed on the East Coast and I live in California. They saw that happening, called me and then declined payment on the bills. They took care of all of that so it's a good service.
Before LifeLock, I have to file a police report and that's a pain. Also, I have to go through the credit companies and I got to jump through a bunch of hoops to make sure I am who I say I am. It takes days and days and repeated phone calls. LifeLock seems to take a lot of the sting out of it when it happens. They're always helpful and easily reached. They give me one person to deal with so I'm not dealing with a whole bunch of people who don't know the story. It's an easy way to go. Someone attempted to hack me two more times and LifeLock notified me right away. I'm very happy with it and I've recommended them to several of my friends. They're a good company.

I'm widowed and my husband took care mostly of the computers and our finances. So to me, it was all new when I took it over and I felt I should have some security. I got LifeLock and they helped me when somebody obtained my social security number and tried to open up credit cards in the summer of this year. It happened not only to one credit company but it went from one to another. LifeLock got a hold of it right away and they stopped it so I didn’t have any damage and I had no loss. Their customer service was very helpful and took care of me very well. I had a very good experience with LifeLock and I would recommend them if somebody asks me.

I had the Experian alert but it wasn’t stopping anything and I was dealing with everything myself. Then I had Lifelock and they’ve been excellent, especially Valerie. She works with me with my issues and she’s totally awesome. She got on the phone and put me in a three-way call just yesterday. This thing we're dealing with right now was supposed to have been settled two years ago but it's popped up for about the fourth time to bite me. Valerie has been very helpful with it. I'm very thankful I have LifeLock and I really like it. I won't be without it anymore. As long as I'm alive, I'm going to have it.

I had a good experience with LifeLock. I had minor red flags that indicated my information may be compromised. Things weren't right and I knew something was wrong. I wasn't too sure at that point, but my mom told me I have to get LifeLock to be on the safe side. Somebody I was dealing had behavior indicative of them not doing the right thing. The person who stole my identity is an extended family member. She was acting weird.
I was trying to help her but she ended up stealing my identity and opening an account without my knowledge. It took a while for the account to appear on my Credit Karma account and I didn't notice until a couple of days after I got LifeLock. Everything happened around the same time and luckily I had LifeLock and they were able to help rectify the situation. It took them a month to help me recover. Everybody was pleasant and professional. They did what they were supposed to do and answered all my questions. I was frustrated with the long process side of it though. But overall, I'm happy and satisfied with all of my encounters. I'd recommend them.

I don't go without LifeLock and I’ve had their service since February. It’s been a big help and it stopped and also corrected some things. I was in contact with Stacy in their services division and they call me if anything goes wrong. Then they start the process to investigate it, dispute and get it off my credit report.

I've had AOL forever and Lifelock is part of the package as an AOL member. The email server offers you that as part of signing up and I thought that was good. LifeLock's service started to appear as one of my possibilities and so when I needed it, I was glad it was there. My experience was initially very wonderful and the person, to whom I spoke, gave me a lot of help, and I was really happy to get that. But there were huge waits and all the rest weren't personally very friendly. I filled out the thing and went to the police station four times until I got a police report. The Lifelock rep had said to send emails and not call, so I sent emails. After all the emails failed, I called but there was no response either, so I gave up. I'm still dealing with all these forms even though I've gotten all the things in a row. I managed pretty much on my own, but their people should follow through. LifeLock was a disappointment.

I close my house all the time because I became a victim of identity theft. Then, when I was speaking to the police who were trying to catch these dishonest people in the country, they were talking about LifeLock. So, I went ahead and contacted them. It took a year to contract with them and since then, they've alerted me on a couple of fraud mishaps that happened to me. I have an agent and as soon as something happens, he notifies me right away and we go through the process of what we have to do with it and how we can get it under control. It works out tremendously. We caught one right away and got it straightened out. Also, I did something to myself and in two days, they told me about it. I had to go through some stuff to tell them that it was actually me who made the transaction. LifeLock is excellent and they've helped me. I've told people about my experience and they have looked into LifeLock. Some people that I know are going to get it.

My wife and I have been Lifelock members for many years. I recently opened a credit card with a major bank so I was expecting a notification that a credit card was opened in my name, never received an alert. Then my wife opened an account for a credit card with a major bank, she never received an alert either. I called LifeLock to inquire why neither of us had received alert and was told the major bank may not be in their network and not all such activities are monitored. I was shocked, that what I thought LifeLock does, notify it members if someone opens any credit in your name. When I asked if someone else would have opened an account in my name would they have caught it - not necessarily but I was reminded they have a fund to cover expenses.
I said I didn't want to go through that to begin with, I just want to know when my SS is used to open an account. I asked why I had not received any notification regarding Equifax and was told I might want to contact them as LifeLock doesn't have any information on my credit information. Not sure what we are paying for but the LifeLock agent did try to get us to upgrade our account but we think we need to shop around and see what else is out there. Not impressed!

LifeLock has been wonderful and my experience has been very satisfactory. My identity has been stolen at least three times and they have taken care of it every time. My credit card bank called and told me that my identity was stolen and LifeLock was very on top of it. My husband and I are members and I'm trying to get my daughter to make arrangements with them.

I’m not pleased with LifeLock right now. I’ve been with them for over 15 years, and hoping that they simply monitor my social security number. Had they been monitoring it, I would not be experiencing identity theft and fraud at this point. I discovered it myself while going to check my credit report. Chris said to give it time, 90 days is their usual process, and hopefully things would be resolved. But Equifax hasn’t removed that one simple thing on my report that’s been disputed. I have done all of the research, gotten all letters from TXU Energy on how to resolve the matter and that we weren’t the people who created these bills. I, in turn, faxed it to Chris but I’m going to fax those then to Equifax because LifeLock cannot do anything as the middle man.
I don’t think anything was corrected on my husband’s behalf because he sent out the extra paperwork to be notarized and sent back to him. I have not heard from Chis. When I called and talked to the manager in Restoration Department, he told me it’s going to take time. This is my first experience with LifeLock and I am so disappointed. I prefer it if it’s just shut. LifeLock has never even updated the credit scores on my name.

On 10/19, I filled out all the information to enroll me and my mother in Lifelock. On 10/23, I received emails from Lifelock saying that "there was a problem with the debit or credit card you provided, and we were unable to process the payment for..." I opened up my online Lifelock account but there was no way to update or change my billing information. Their website did not even show which credit card or banking information I had used so I could not call the credit card or bank and find out if there was an issue.
I work full time so did not have time to call until today, 10/27. After I finally got thru to a real person at Lifelock, she said that she did not know why my payment had not gone thru either. It just said "pending". I asked which credit card or bank account was used but she could not tell me that. She said I could call my bank and find out what the problem is, but how can I do that if she can't tell me which bank or account it is?
Then she said that the only thing she knew to do was to close out my accounts and open new accounts, then try the payment again. I asked if I would have to re-enter everything all over again and she said yes. I WORK FULL TIME. I don't have time to keep re-entering information into their website. Lack of time, is one of the reasons that I signed up for Lifelock in the first place... because I don't have time to personally monitor each and every account I have every day. This is ridiculous. And it makes me wonder how effective this company could be if they can't even tell me the company/account used for billing.

Somebody stole my credit card information so I set up a plan with LifeLock. My husband who used to travel a lot has it too and he made me set it up. However, LifeLock made it sound like if somebody stole my identity, I wouldn’t have to worry about anything and they would just take care of it. But that’s not the case. You have to do everything on your own unless it becomes something that’s going to be taken to court.
They told me to send them all the paperwork and they would send it to all the tech companies and get it figured out. But I got the letters from all these companies saying that LifeLock didn’t send the correct documents and that I needed to send it to them after I already sent the correct documents to LifeLock. It was frustrating. On the other hand, their team was really nice. It’s not everything that they made it sound like it was going to be, but it’s okay. I don’t think they did any false advertising. I just assumed that they were able to do a lot more than what they’re actually able to do. I wouldn’t have known that my identity was stolen too if I didn’t have LifeLock. I've never gotten any other notifications except through LifeLock, so it's definitely helpful.
