I’m in the midst of a nasty divorce so I needed to protect my account. LifeLock monitors everything for me. They pick up on things and their follow-through is wonderful. They would alert me even at night if there’s an issue. Once I got an alert that somehow I opened up and they called me about it saying they didn’t hear back and to make sure if it was valid or not valid. They have been very super nice and helpful. I've already told my family members about LifeLock.

Do not purchase service, far too expensive for the level of care you receive, you will be sent to India for help, then they want remote access, if you ask to speak with someone in the USA. Good luck, you will wait for days for that request.

My identity got stolen. The suspects tried to open up credit cards, bank accounts, and do something with housing and LifeLock alerted me as soon as the application was applied. If something happened on the first, they would alert me about it by the end of the first or by the morning of the second. They were easy to work with. Even if I may miss my deadline, because I'm on the west coast and I go to bed at a certain hour, they still notify me and a text comes in. I'm happy with that. But when I forget my password, they were like, "We can't go any further. So you need to go back and do what you need to do but we will not go any further." I was like, "Okay, thank you." Overall, LifeLock is good.

Somebody stole my Social Security number. They applied for something and I received an invoice from collection. Experian and Wells Fargo Bank told me to try LifeLock. I went to the internet and checked it, then I decided to call them. LifeLock always sends me alerts through my phone and internet when something happens or they find something under my name and my Social. When I receive a letter, I call the team at LifeLock and then they give me all the information. They're very friendly and very kind people. I would recommend LifeLock to anybody.

I routinely received solicitations to check out LifeLock and eventually decided that it was smart. I'm fairly savvy to the threat but had taken all precaution that individuals can without being a company like LifeLock. I eventually figured that I’ve run my luck as long as I can. There was enough that was happening via the different modalities that were not issues or threats a few years ago and I can't protect us as well as I think a third party could, plus continuing diligence on our part.
We had been working with another bank-based organization for a number of years that was originally included with a mortgage and eventually, it didn’t seem to be adequate and I wasn’t confident in the other organization. When I did the side by side comparison, the services at LifeLock were more expensive but were more comprehensive. I wasn’t out after saving nickels to lose dollars, so it was prudent to move to a stouter plan and not even the entry-level plan with LifeLock. We have a pretty a comprehensive plan.
LifeLock focuses on the type of transaction that could be fraudulent. There have been two specifically where credit applications were opened in our name that we did not open, and we were able to shut this down quickly and contact the vendor with LifeLock on the phone. It was seamless and painless. The LifeLock team was very concise and very business-like. It's exactly what I would expect. I'm not after somebody to make me feel warm and fuzzy. Rather, I wanted somebody looking out for us and it's been a positive experience for us. The apps for both our iPad and for phones and the site online are certainly user-friendly for our purposes and timely. I had it set at a fairly low threshold, so we hear about everything that’s $500 and more. It works in a timely fashion.

I love LifeLock. After the IRS notified me that my identity had been stolen, our accountant recommended it. LifeLock gives amazing peace of mind. There were many times that people have tried to open credit cards in my name since then and that always seemed to happen right when another emergency was going on. One time, I got called by LifeLock when I was at the hospital when my dad was dying, and another time when I was also at the hospital when my husband was in surgery. LifeLock has helped me and notified me and I know that they were on top of it. They talked me through it and they helped me 'cause I was at a loss as I've always been very cautious as a person.
The LifeLock team was exceptionally good, compassionate and patient with me. I don't know how they interview their salespeople or their customer service people because I work in the customer service industry, and I would love their tips since I have never felt like they didn't have the time or that I was stupid. They're A plus and I constantly recommend them to people and I even help them find it on their computer. I tell everybody that LifeLock is the best investment they can ever make.

Norton online security and transaction monitoring not working on website. Other than that I love the service and will be renewing it this year. I never had to use the service for any unauthorized transactions or attempt on the theft of my identity.

We sold our house in Florida and still had a lot of cash in the bank. And with all the fraud that’s going on right now, I wanted to make sure we're somewhat protected. LifeLock keeps an eye on my accounts. I know that and I like that. Even when I pay my insurance bill or whatever, they send me a notification. It feels good that there's another set of eyes looking at my finances that I could trust. After we sold our house and we moved, LifeLock sent me a thing, “Did you know your address changed?” I said, “No, I didn’t.” And they investigated it and found out my bank got a hold of our new address and went ahead and changed our mailing address without me knowing about it. LifeLock picked up on that address change, so that was a good experience.
There was one other issue regarding a credit card bill that LifeLock resolved where I had to talk to somebody on the phone. The lady rep was very nice and she contacted the credit card company. It turned out that there was really no record of it and I don’t know whether it was a blunder or a glitch but it was nothing. Yet they were still very good about it and followed up on it until the very end. I am glad I have Lifelock and I'd absolutely recommend them. I've had people tell me about Experian and other places that do kind of the same thing, but LifeLock has been around a long time and I'm pretty comfortable with them.

Someone with my previous last name had been trying to use my credit for many years, so I changed credit and I told my husband that I wanted to get LifeLock. I put all my credit cards and account numbers on LifeLock to be monitored. So, if anyone was trying to apply for credit, LifeLock would be able to notify me as soon as possible to make sure it was me. Their team was very courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. And when I spoke with them, they would contact the company that the credit application was placed with and we would conference and have that taken care of. They were also very punctual and alert, and they would take all the steps necessary to make sure that every transaction was handled the best of its ability in no time.

Exact problem with registration not communicated so I could remedy before being cancelled twice. Once accepted, could not access account because of previous info from cancelled tries. Poor customer service for customers with hearing and age related problems (especially computer speech clarity and volume ).

I had an issue and LifeLock stepped up and taken care of everything. They called me the next day after the issue happened. But I wished they would have caught them a day before, but so far so good. They have very good communication. I’ve been with them for about five years and they’ve been great.

My husband and I both have LifeLock and they are a lifesaver. In December, we received a letter saying that we bought two iPhones in our name, but we had not. My husband had his identity stolen by a gentleman in Kingston, New York and every time this gentleman tried to open an account, LifeLock would text and ask if that was us. We would reply no and then they would put a hold on everything then they would call and talk to my husband. And then they had called the company. It was an amazing experience. They are polite, courteous, helpful and they go above and beyond. We had a situation with someone who managed to get away with about $30,000 and LifeLock helped up us get that all taken care of. LifeLock is the best and we have recommended them to hundreds of friends.

I went through an ordeal with someone using my Social Security Number and LifeLock took care of it. It took quite a long time to resolve and I had to fill out all the papers but I was treated very well and I was very happy with what they did for me. That wasn't the first time and they took care of me before too. Also, dealing with the reps was wonderful. We’ve been with LifeLock for five years and I’ve told many people about how I was so thankful I had it because they were the ones who caught it. So, I recommend it all the time.

My husband and I both had fraud done to us for years and years. Somebody has got his social security number and his birth date, and it finally has gotten so bad I had to do something. And so I got LifeLock. At first, setting it up was a little frustrating because my husband does no computer stuff. I set it all up myself for him and me. And then there was a time that the LifeLock rep said they needed to talk to him. I'm like, "I set this whole thing, the passwords and all that." It was getting screwed up. And then, I'd have him call in. Then finally, I did a power of attorney, got that notarized and then they finally would talk to me.
And so now, any transaction over $10,000, LifeLock would notify me. When the fraud was being done, however, it was in small amounts, so that was harder to catch. But anybody who tries to take out a new application for like Lowe's, Home Depot, Walmart, Kmart, LifeLock alerts me. And then I have to go on the computer and tell them, "No. This was not us." Just today, I got a paper that somebody tried to get Sprint in my husband's name. I get it all the time. I usually call LifeLock or the company that they try to get an account with and I take care of it, and LifeLock helps me do that too. Working with them has been very good so I'd recommend them. I tell people that I have LifeLock all the time.

I had an identity theft recently but it started back in December. Someone opened an AT&T account in my name. LifeLock caught it, took care of handling the claim and then contacted the credit bureaus. Eventually, this guy tried to rent a car under my name from Enterprise Rent A Car. LifeLock took care of handling the claim on that side and caught this guy. It's all taken care of now but I never would have known about the identity theft if I didn’t have LifeLock. They’re pretty responsive too. You call them and get a claim adjuster right away then they email you. The whole process takes about a couple of days, gathering documents and information then sending it back to them. Everyone has also been super helpful and really easy to work with. They know exactly what to do with the situation where I would have no idea of what to do. LifeLock’s fee is the best 25 bucks a month I've ever spent.

Emailed customer service twice and called twice and twice was told the problem was on LifeLock's end. Still not fixed. I suspect LifeLock no longer supports Android 4.4.4. I was promised a fix in 24 hours but now seems to be a promise broken.

More and more breaches were happening and we kept hearing about identities being stolen. And since I've been a LifeLock member, there has been a couple of occasions where people have used my identity to try and get credit cards or set up cellphone accounts. And LifeLock called me, and sent me alerts to let me know that something was going on, and to respond to what was going on. And they stopped them before the things got set up.
If I don't get the phone call, LifeLock leaves a voice message to return the call. Their people were generally helpful. They get me in touch immediately on the three-way conversation with the company that somebody tried to set up with, and they take care of it on their end. LifeLock makes sure that I'm satisfied that it has been taken care of. It's a pretty easy process and I'm just satisfied with the service.

I had an account with LifeLock for six years. I had it so if anything happens, they would take care of everything. I know that we can do it all by ourselves but I don't have the time to be tracking down everything. I like the comfort of knowing that they are there. Their reps have all been very professional and very helpful. I received a couple of notifications from them when there was a fraudulent activity with my social security number and my date of birth. It's one of the best things about it. I like their proactive approach and that they take care of everything behind the scenes. It has been a very positive experience since day one.

Last September, I ran into some issues with my phone company. Somebody hacked into my account in Yonkers, New York so I worked with their fraud unit. Then I had to continue with LifeLock from there and up until two weeks ago, I’ve had issues with the people who tried to open accounts and get credit cards. And I have to compliment every area that LifeLock covers. I am greatly appreciative of all the work that the LifeLock staff has done, as well as their knowledge and professionalism.
They've been right on top of things. I just fill the representative in and most times, they connect with me to say that there's been an activity. It would pop up because they red-flagged all the credit bureaus. LifeLock's staff has been very informative and if they didn’t know something, they would check and get back to me very quickly. But I only ran into that once and that was early on. I felt comfortable working with any of the associates when they called because they would call the bank or the company and we'd have a three-way conversation which was great. They were also able to get through to people very quickly in any company whereas I would be struggling with that. It's heartwarming for me to know that somebody's looking out for me.

Someone has my social security number, date of birth, name, and address, and they tried to use it and when they didn't get anywhere with it, they took it to the dark web. I got alerts that my information is on the dark web from LifeLock. I signed up with LifeLock immediately after the first incident where someone opened eight bank accounts in my name. This trend has continued since September of 2015. And on the last couple of times that I've had contact with LifeLock, I wasn't very pleased at all with how they handled things. Typically, when I got something in the mail and I haven't heard from them about it, I called them. We did a three-way call with the institution where the accounts were opened in my name and talked to their fraud department and made sure that they were watching out for my information coming through when they closed the accounts.
In January, someone opened an investment account at Charles Schwab and LifeLock sent me an alert via email. I called LifeLock and we called Charles Schwab on a three-way and then in March, I started getting things from banks that I never heard of before. One came on a Monday and I got a welcome package from a bank that's on the East Coast, Virginia area. And this LifeLock rep said, "So did you call them?" I said, "No. That's what you do. You call them with me on a three way and we talk to them." "Oh no, you have to verify this." I said, "I have letters in my hand, a big envelope full of paperwork, where someone opened these accounts in my name, how much more do I need to verify?" I ended up hanging up on him.
By Friday, I got some letters asking for information from the Navy Federal Credit Union where someone tried to open accounts but were not successful because they didn't have enough information for the Credit Union to verify who they were. I called LifeLock and I talked to someone else and he was helpful. Then he turned me over to the department that usually does the phone calls. I talked to a woman who showed me how to freeze my Credit Bureau Reports so that when people use my Social Security Number, which they will continue to do, they wouldn't be able to open accounts because the Credit Union Reports will be frozen. And that's about the most help I've gotten from LifeLock in the last year.
I was very displeased with the service I've gotten over the last year. I keep getting alerts saying that they've spotted my information on the dark web and if somebody tries it, they don't get very far, then they go back where they got it and sell it to someone else. As long as I have that social security number, it's gonna continue to happen. And it's like being raped repeatedly. I get so upset that I freeze and I can't do anything. I become despondent because I go into panic mode.
I'm trying to get a new Social Security Number and we're going this month, with all the paperwork that I have. But I wanted to print off the alert that LifeLock sent me so that I would have evidence of this continued harassment. No one bothered to tell me how to do it and LifeLock wouldn't print them off for me. I can't get that information to take to Social Security with me and it really upsets me. I'm gonna take my computer with me and say, "Okay, let me log in using your Internet and you can work online to bring up the account, and you can see all of the incidences of their web activity and all of the alert that they've sent me."
I didn't save all of my paperwork over the years but I found the very first one from Bank of America where someone opened eight accounts in my name. I have the stuff from Charles Schwab, the Credit Union and the other bank in Virginia. Now the people can get into my Credit Bureau stuff and they're targeting my bank account, using my debit card to make purchases, and changing my passwords so I can't get in to my accounts online. It's the biggest freaking nightmare you can possibly imagine and LifeLock is really not responding. I signed up with Equifax and Experian and I'm gonna cancel my LifeLock account because I really don't feel like they're doing much for me anymore. It's been going on so long and they just blow it off. Initially, they were so good and they went downhill over time. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone now.

I was part of a big identity theft with TRA. My wife had seen a commercial for LifeLock and decided to use them. They also offered the highest rate of protection at the time. When I got them, I haven't been identity theft hit. But in the last six months, I’ve been hit five times. LifeLock notified me on two of them, and three of them, I ended up notifying them. But they were able to help me resolve the problem. I usually call their number that they give me when they notify me. And I talk to an agent and they take down all of my information and look into it unlike the last one. They got into a three-way conversation with the bank that had an account opened fraudulently with my name on it and were able to help me resolve it over the phone with the bank.

There had been several attempts wherein people tried to steal my identity and were using my name falsely with credit cards and stuff that I didn't create. LifeLock has been advertised for the longest time so I checked them out and I liked them thus far. I had a situation and they were good by alerting me of what that took place. I was able to contact the people where all of these were taking place for them to block anything that was trying to happen. LifeLock is on the job about protecting you and stopping what's happening to people. I'm sticking with them.

We've been members for a long time and I was really lucky that I have LifeLock because it was very useful. LifeLock is the only identity theft protection provider we know that does what it does and is not affiliated with a bank or a credit card. It's a good service and they were always quick to notify me if there was any activity in my credit. People know to start opening accounts on a Saturday when the banks are closed but still, I knew by Sunday. LifeLock was the first to bring it to my attention and it seemed to come through later from the bank.
In April, 10 accounts were applied for and LifeLock notified me. Their specialists were good too. They took over and handled the situation with the different parties. They coordinated the effort to shut it down, notified the credit bureaus and did some conference calls with the bank. It eliminated me having to do it all on my own with a bunch of individual credit card companies and businesses. They made the process easier. I can also log into my account online, look at my stuff so I can see if I have any more concerns, and manage my account. I'm really happy that I have LifeLock and I think everybody should have it.

LifeLock was available for me when my daughter stole my identity and they had been wonderful. They helped me to prevent going to court over one of the bills that my daughter had put in my name, and they took care of that with $675. I had no negative experience with them at all and I really like the rep that I dealt with.

I feel that my name is being protected for all, especially large, transactions that I do. I guess as a question, I am wondering if you have all the information on me, to protect me. Or is it just my name that alerts you to investigation? Please advise. I guess the most reassuring an outstanding experience I have had with LifeLock, is that the last time I purchased a car, a 2008 Honda CRV; I was making arrangements for the purchase with the car dealership checking to see if I had really made a loan application for 15+ thousand dollars! The people at LifeLock have been very professional with good customer service. I've been using LifeLock’s services for about seven years, and it's been reassuring that I get notifications when my Social Security is used, or bank accounts are being opened. It’s helpful to know that it pops up on their system and they notify me. LifeLock was mainly offered through work, and then after I’ve had a couple of calls with them, I decided to keep them. I'd tell others to do it as well.

LifeLock was the best identity theft protection offered at the time I got it and they saved me eight times within the last year. They would check for my social security number and everything that was out there and they would let me know. I have a counselor that monitors my account personally and anytime that there's an application opened up fraudulently in my name, they're on the phone with me with the company, and they just take control. LifeLock is a fantastic company.

I was a victim of identity theft and my company offers LifeLock among our benefits so I began using the service. On Christmas Eve while I was on my vacation home in Pennsylvania, my house was robbed and my tax returns were stolen. So there had been a non-stop flood of fraudulent activity but Lifelock was a delight to work with. When I get the alert, I tell them no and call them up. And every time I’ve called, they’ve been extremely polite. They would connect me with the credit company that the attempt was made on and do a three-way phone call to close the loop.
But when LifeLock can’t get through to the company within three to five minutes, they let me know and then try another two minutes. If they still can’t get through, they would call me back as soon as they get through to the company. They wouldn’t let me hold for 20 minutes. They would circle back and tell me they’re still trying. They know my time is valuable and what they would do instead is call me back at a particular number. They’re mindful of the client’s time as well as very diligent in following up with these different things. The service is fantastic and my credit score had not been adversely affected. I tell everybody to get LifeLock if they don’t have them. And everybody that I've had sign up with them has been very pleased.

Quite a while ago after my identity had been compromised, I went online and did some research. I found that LifeLock had good reviews and they were very clear about their million dollar guarantee. Two weeks ago, they helped me when someone applied for credit on my behalf and we got it shut off. Lucky for me, LifeLock was persistent in contacting me because I was out of the country at that time. Once I called back, they were clear about what they thought had occurred and I confirmed that it was not me. They were almost insistent, even given that I was in a somewhat inaccessible location, that I stay on the line with them. They contacted the bank and questioned while I stayed on the line and we clarified it. It took 45 minutes, but we got it corrected right then and there. I've tried to work with LifeLock including my family and there ought to be some sort of discount to do that, but they weren’t very interested in doing it.

My wife's company signed us up with LifeLock for free, and I will never go without them again. They have stopped three attempts of using our name and social. Two of that was for my wife and one for me. They got a hold of us right away to say what was happening. They were very friendly in customer service. The attempt on my account was at a dealership and LifeLock called them to say that the person applying wasn't me. They kept me in the loop all the time. They went back and forth and they had the dealership call me and we did a three-way phone call. And we were all on the same page that it wasn't me. Then the dealership ended the application process, which was within three hours of them applying.

I called LifeLock for last four days to find out why I haven't been alerted about something. The people from the Philippines answer the phone right away but they barely spoke English so I asked for somebody in the United States. They transferred me and I stayed on hold each time for over an hour before finally hanging up. I had gotten no help four different times, which is a real problem. When it with reps from the United States, the interactions have been great, otherwise it was not. A while back, I had one supervisor that went through all the credit union with me who was fantastic. That was three weeks ago and I never ever again spoke to anybody that was American after that. I had an identity theft problem and LifeLock has been helpful. Then, for some reason, every single night I get a LifeLock email that says, "Log into your Wells Fargo to make sure you could log in." LifeLock is serving a purpose, but it's conflictual because you can't talk to anybody.

LifeLock has been around a long time. I have known about it but I just couldn't afford it. Also, Rick Harrison has LifeLock also and I recommend what he has. Plus, LifeLock got a good report by Consumer Reports. They came and told me when somebody tried to register my social security. Also, I got notified that somebody was trying to open up a credit card. I was scored on the Black Web score and I like what they were telling me. They called me and verified what's going on. Anything that happened to my personal information, they let me know. They called up the store that tried to open up the credit card and resolved it. With LifeLock, I can find out my credit score without going to the website 'cause it's already on their record. LifeLock is great. I take it as my bodyguard. I love it and I'd recommend it to anybody. I got my wife, my son, and myself all on the same team. I'll keep LifeLock as long as I can afford it.

With everybody stealing somebody’s identity these days, I decided on getting protection and went with LifeLock. My sister said it was one of the best. I've been using it for about two years now and whenever I apply at anything, it alerts me automatically and if it's not me, they automatically get right on it. And there was one time that an Amazon account came through that I did not do and the LifeLock team jumped on it. They called Amazon's credit card company while I was on the phone and got the issue resolved and got it removed off of my credit. And so I'd recommend it highly to anybody because they're very quick and efficient on what they do and always very polite.

Very disappointed in this service. I opened a Firestone credit card through Credit First National. I fully expected to receive an alert from Lifelock. I received no such alert. I did receive an alert from two free credit monitoring services that I have. But nothing from Lifelock. When I sent them an inquiry asking why, I received a response saying that Lifelock does not monitor all transactions.
Say what?? If I cannot count on Lifelock to send me an alert when a new credit account is opened, what am I spending $90 a year for? It seems like Lifelock is nothing more than a bloated insurance policy in case your identity is stolen. They admit that they do not monitor all transactions. That means that you are at risk. I'm not paying for that!

I do a lot of shopping on the internet and at the time I joined LifeLock, it was the only provider offering to fully restore your identity and your credit to where it was. I wish that the service was priced a little cheaper but LifeLock has helped me very much. The service I received from their reps was fantastic. I've had a couple of bad experiences and in today’s society and market, we are out in public many times and everything is on the computer. So I thought it was a good idea to protect myself. I trust most of the people on the Patriot channel as well as most of their advertising so I chose Lifelock as my identity theft protection provider and I’ve had Lifelock for a little over a year now. I had an identity theft a couple of months back that we are trying to come up with a solution and get the case handled now. I went from an 800 and something Beacon to a 590. Lifelock is still up in the air right now to a 100% satisfaction. So, we'll see how they do and if they can get my credit back.

Since my credit card got compromised, I got identity theft protection. My wife had LifeLock and now I've had them for about three years now. It picks up any time somebody tries to open an account and it's been opening credit card accounts, but two or three times, LifeLock has stopped it. Their reps are professional to the point, get it done and move on each time. They've been really helpful and when you need to do paperwork, they get it to you and get it done.

My husband and I wanted a theft protection service. Lifelock is a name that we heard before and it had a good reputation. My husband signed us up with LifeLock and I have been very pleased with them. There was someone who had gotten hold of my information and was applying for cards. I got a few calls and notices about that and the person from Lifelock that I dealt with on the phone has been really helpful. I love how the Lifelock team calls me. They acted like my concierge and walked me through the phone call with the other bank and told me what the bank was gonna ask or not ask so that I'd feel comfortable with what I’ll share. They also seemed to know all the questions asked on the other side and made it go very efficiently.
I am really impressed with Lifelock between all the alerts that I get and the communications on email. Also, everyone I've dealt with on the phone has been really fabulous. I get a text and I'm happy enough with the computer-based thing. Lifelock is really worth every penny because I’ve five different things that happened now. There were a couple instances of two credit card applications. And every time, multiple notifications have come fast and I can reach people when I wanna reach them. I feel like everything is taken care of, they advised me on my credit fraud alert and everything I'm supposed to do. I have a great peace of mind with it.

With what's been going on with all these companies getting hijacked, we decided to get identity theft protection. I looked into other sites but LifeLock also covered what they did. So why would I do three when I can do one? And so far, our experience with LifeLock has been really good. About a month and a half ago, we had somebody try to get credit cards, have the name changed and use different addresses. But the guy wasn’t too smart because he put his home address in where he wanted them to go so it wasn’t too hard to find the situation. The LifeLock team was really easy to work with and pleasant. LifeLock keeps tabs fairly well and I'd recommend them to anybody.

I handle all of our affairs and there was a time when I noticed something strange on my husband's credit. There was a credit card applied for but my husband didn't even know how to go online and apply for it. So I decided to get LifeLock for me and my husband. The price is steep but it has been worth it. People don’t come and steal your money anymore. With today’s technology, it's easier for people to go online and steal everything you’ve got. I'm 60 years old and LifeLock has helped me a lot since I got it. Within 24 hours, they caught things happening in my credit and attacked it right away. They notified me and I took action. Still, their reps were even ahead of me. Whatever happened to me, they took it like it was happening to them. I was amazed that the company had enough manpower to do that. It's so comfortable when I have somebody like LifeLock behind me. It was not like going to lawyers where you are put behind a burner because they’ve got bigger cases. LifeLock took each one of the $1 deals like they were $1,000,000 deals. That was the first time I felt like I had a big brother watching me. I had used LifeLock a number of years ago but there was no real threat going on in my life so I discontinued the service. Then our identity was breached with the Equifax thing so I called LifeLock back and signed back on. They're fast, efficient, thorough and competent. I feel entirely safe in what they are doing for me. A friend of ours had his identity breached and had signed on with a different company but he was not happy. I told him it was not worth a cheaper price to go through that, and to call LifeLock because they would take care of him. LifeLock has the most outstanding people I've ever worked with in that kind of situation, and the customer service was awesome.

I like LifeLock a lot. My dad told me that he had it and that I should get it as well, following an incident of identity theft that I dealt with back in November. And now, every time that I get a notification that someone is using my information to get some kind of credit inquiry, LifeLock would call me in a day or two and stop it right away. Their team has been very nice to me and when I had problems with certain banks who have me on hold forever and then I would get upset, LifeLock will just stop it and they would say whatever to the bank and I would be like, "Okay, we're on the same page." I really like all the people that I've encountered at LifeLock. And so, I'm trying to get my Ma to get LifeLock too because it's very good. And if I have any friends that deal with identity theft, I'll definitely tell them they need to get LifeLock for their security.

Same alerts repeat 24-48 hours late, not smart software! I signed my wife and I up through work for the base service and they do nothing special from what we can see. Had to turn text off alerts off because they would go off in the middle of the night for transactions that took place from 8-36 hours ago. That is the other thing, the data is late not even within an hour of a transaction.
We have all our credit cards and bank accounts registered with them so this is useless. It also does not learn your transactions like our mortgage payment which is set up at twice a month so it always asks if this is legit. Is the dark web being monitored for our data maybe, but no alerts have turned up. And last don't believe the reviews on their website. They are all 5 star sunny skies reviews! I could not figure out how to leave this review on their website which is the truth. I will let it go for a year but will probably drop them in December as I see nothing useful from them.

Watching LifeLock commercials on??? Reminds me of a scam. Why? Cuz if you own a bank account and most people do the banks fraud dept Will alert you. If you have a credit card and most do the fraud dept Will notify you. LifeLock is not needed. It to me is a scam.

I want to gove a huge thank you for LifeLock promptly emailing me back about my confusing situation with an online and television shopping company that used my debit card for unauthorized activity even after I qualified for their method of payment (even without signing up for anything.) They never refunded me for one item and I have yet to see any apology or a refund for charging me the full amount for several items in one day putting my funds in the negative. Thankfully I was a member of LifeLock before this happened so I was quickly told of what happened to me was on the lines of identity theft. I called and emailed three companies that deal with corruption in companies to report the unauthorized use of my card. Thanks again LifeLock for being there!

I originally bought LifeLock thru Norton. I forgot my password, had to go thru Norton to change it which was ok, but then I was told that I had to go thru Norton to change my log on name. LifeLock gave me this log on name that was 36 symbols long. I never had a log on name that long as I'm sure not many others have either. No way for me to change my log on name on the LifeLock page. Very troublesome.

I don't really know why I pay for Lifelock. Since signing up, it hasn't notified me once when me or my wife has applied for credit. If it doesn't notify me of real credit apps, I am dubious that LifeLock will flag identity theft attempts.

I have used LifeLock for many years. Currently my credit union account is not connecting. Credit union says it's for Lifelock and Lifelock says it's for the credit union to resolve. Meanwhile my accounts are not protected. I was instructed to delete credit union accounts and re-enter them. System will not allow me to re-enter them.

I recently had some fraudulent attempts made using my social security number and birth name. LifeLock offered a broader approach to privacy theft, so I went with them. I’m still getting and handling some of my own complaints before LifeLock gets them. But when LifeLock gets involved, their staff is courteous and professional. They get right on trying to clear matters up and make sure that whatever fraudulent attempts are made are closed down. So, they're proactive in that. The representatives have always been good and my interactions with them have been outstanding. Due to my personal circumstances, LifeLock's service is something that I just have to have for this year.

I had just been hit by identity theft and LifeLock was an automatic upgrade with the Norton system. They have been very good too. They're fast and they stay on top of things. Plus they alert me and keep me informed. As soon as you get hit. They’re on the phone with you and they’re calling the company that had the application made. They’ll stay on the line and you talk to them about what's happening with the company. And then when it’s all said and done, they check back and make sure all your questions have been answered.

I had to cancel LifeLock after 6 weeks- they never gave me a 30 day trial and aren’t refunding the $. I had 2 things they never caught and thank goodness it was me tightening up my finances. I was never alerted when I closed a bank account and walked out with a 6 figure check. I was told they don’t catch everything and I have a million in protection. Every time that was their answer. I opened an Amex card online - same thing. The added answer was that don’t partner with all banks or Amex etc. My credit cards give me alerts on any credit score change by email and every transaction appears on my iPhone as well as my Visa and Amex’s have best fraud protection ever.
My finances are tied up so tight the military could get in and because I receive Medicare and disability they can’t monitor government insurance or income. Because my taxes are e-filed my accountant would know in seconds if someone else filed. I check every piece of junk mail. So if LifeLock doesn’t partner with anywhere I am compromised I’m screwed anyway. Given the difficulties I have no faith if I had to file a claim that it would be quick reimbursement or stress free. I am going to try a 30 day free trial of their biggest competitor - shame on LifeLock for despite guarantee not even refunding what should of be free and what they advertise on their own website!!!

Everything has been great with LifeLock. I had an identity theft protection issue and I decided to tackle it before it could get worse. When I called LifeLock in the very beginning, I spoke to someone who was rude and ignorant about what was happening. It only happened once though. Cecilia, the person who they have assigned to me, was pleasant and did a fantastic job. So far, LifeLock has taken care of different accounts that weren't mine. They have disputed and cleared them. However, I am waiting for them to restore my credit to be where it used to be as this would take a few weeks or a few months. But they’re working on that now.

My car was stolen with all my stuff in it, and my identity got used. I just got my paperwork sent in today. I haven't gone too far with any other service yet, but LifeLock is monitoring and helping me to see where else my information has been used. So far, learning about all the different reports and things that I wouldn't have previously known about or how to handle has been helpful. However, I've had a hard time getting a hold of a particular person that was helping me originally. But when I have spoken to him or when he has called me back, everything's been fine. And when I've talked to anybody else when I can't get a hold of him, everyone's been super helpful. One time, I left three messages in a week and he was never able to call me back, even though his voice mail says he'll call me back within 48 hours. Then I called again and a sweet woman answered the phone and was able to help me. She said she'd leave a note and let him know.

After Experian or Equifax got breached, we decided that we needed to do something. I've seen LifeLock's advertisements on TV and went with them. Although I haven't had them very long, I have been amazed with the times that they've already caught people trying to open accounts on me. I've talked to several reps, they'd get the bank or whoever it was on the phone, then we'd do the conference call and get it all straightened up every time. They took care of everything quickly and I was amazed at how well it worked. I've bragged to everybody about how LifeLock has already saved me and it's worth every penny I pay, and have told them that they really need to at least check into it.

Our daughter bought LifeLock in Walnut Creek and referred it to us. My wife and I both have it now. I needed it because I got robbed in my office and had my briefcase stolen where all my checks for my two businesses and tax returns were. So the robbers had everything they wanted including my computer and LifeLock has done a good job stopping all accounts. We stopped the computer the first day by calling at them and that was easy through Mac Care then my insurance replaced that.
But for the rest of it, LifeLock had a job on their hands and as far as I know, to this day, after over a year and a half, none of the checks that the robbers tried to forge went through any bank. And when they started going on the internet applying for cards from different accounts in my name, like Home Depot and Target, and opening accounts with various banks all over the country, all that got stopped. Lifelock's reps were very good and very efficient, too. I'm pleased with them and I’m a happy camper. I'd also recommend their service to anybody.

When I mailed in a payment (money order) I did not know that payments were only accepted by credit card, and such. So instead of you all mailing money order back to me you all properly disposed of it. Good right. No because now I have to wait 4-6 months for Money order to not be cashed. Keep my receipt, show proof and then wait 6-8 weeks for it to check out that I didn't fraud them then they will mail me a check to cash or deposit. So all the total time lost for my money. 1/2 of a year before I get my money back. Not happy.

LifeLock was included in another service that I signed up for and it was a good value for the price. They send me text messages whenever there's something suspicious. And it could help like sometimes the banks won't approve charges when they think they're suspicious. That interferes with our ability to be consumers because you get denied the charge at the register and we have to come up with a different credit card. By the time we find out that the bank thought that might be suspicious, that's already moot. We've already gone past that. I would just hope that they could coordinate better somehow with LifeLock and just use that to a way of notifying you after.
Their team has been great. They took ownership of my situation and wanted to help me all the way through. They were very positive with their attitude like they cared and that they were going to see me through the problem. They did everything that they could that didn't require me to have to do something. And they gave me the opportunity to do the thing that I needed to do.

LifeLock was the only one that came to mind when I found out that I had been a victim of identity theft. They were great. They've taken care of everything they needed to take care of and they've gotten things removed from my credit report. They also went to the companies and made sure I wasn't liable for payment of things that were opened in my name. Their reps were very professional and friendly. LifeLock is the company to go to if you're going through identity theft. The biggest deal was making you feel that you are not alone because that was what sold me.

Lifelock has always been held up as the ultimate protection device. In that I have had no problem. But I received a notice that my credit score had been updated - I went to check. Ah, "Sorry this service is not available, please check back later." 4 times - same response. Sent a message to the company and I got the standard read from the book replies - "Well, it's not OUR fault. Must be something in your system." And to my question as to whether agencies trying to check my credit got this - no answer. Absolutely not helpful. I wonder why I am paying for a service I cannot access.

I recently purchased LifeLock Standard to monitor my personal information. Within a very short time, I was shown where I had a medium risk factor that I needed to address. I accomplished the task in short order by Faxing an opt-out order to the website. I'm thinking of upgrading my current version of LifeLock. LifeLock was the most prominent one, to my point of view, and it still is. I got it for myself and my wife, and I got it for my parents, too. My parents just passed away, but they were protected by LifeLock, so it worked well for me. I have gotten contacted that somebody’s doing something that is not legal, and you folks took care of it very quickly. I suspect the problem that I have got now began with the hack of Experian. And after that, I began to get notices that people were using my identity for things that were not me, but that has been stopped. The people I’ve spoken with were very helpful. They have facilitated a conference call between the part claiming that I opened a credit card account, and myself. It happened once, and in other times, they ran the ball with another credit card operator, so that solved my problems.
They also gave me data for the contract, the involved credit bureaus, and looked at my accounts to make sure nobody was using them except me. They are very easy to get a hold of. I usually used the phone, but I’ve also used online and that’s fine too. They are like a program running in the background, you do not see it, do not hear it, do not know anything about it until something happens, and then they are all over it. They are fine the way they operate because if I do not hear from them, I have peace of mind that something bad has probably not happened.

My nephew's identity was compromised, and it took him forever to get it straightened out, so I joined LifeLock and I've been a member for over a year now. When my identity was compromised, they were very, very helpful. The reps were all very, very nice and very consoling. If they're busy, they call you back as soon as they can. I was debating whether I wanted to spend the money to do LifeLock but I'm really glad I use these people. That was the best money I ever spent 'cause you never know when something's gonna happen to you. If something does happen, I know that they can take care of it for me. I can just do my job and I don't have to worry about it. They have all my bank account information and they do the dark web monitoring too.
I didn't want to be hacked and I wanted to make sure that whatever money I was getting was safe. I wanted to go on LifeLock's reputation. I thought they might help me if I needed them, and they did. In January, I got hacked 10 times and it was probably last year when Experian got hacked. Somebody took my information and was trying get credit cards in my name. The LifeLock guys were great about helping me. They got on the phone with me immediately, asked me several questions, called the bank and resolved it right then. It was great. I didn't have to do it myself or worry about it. I don't have to worry about my bank accounts now so I really feel secure using it. I love LifeLock.

I'm getting older and starting to get things paid off, and I don't want to get into big household stuff, so I decided to get identity theft protection. LifeLock had a pretty good score on Better Business Bureau. I've had them for a long time already and they are the most well-known ones I know. There was someone using my Social Security number for a credit card in California, and they called it the next day. It’s well worth the money. Customer service was also great. They definitely wanted to make sure things got done and taken care of, and I easily got a hold of the right people to make sure there were no issues. They even did the joint call between me and the other people and it all worked out good. It was just a great experience, and I even got my wife on it.

My identity was stolen and someone charged all my credit cards. I saw LifeLock on TV and I've been with them since January. So far, they have been really great. My credit was hacked before I got them, so they couldn't help me with the things that happened before January. But they've notified me about everything that went on after. They've been on phone calls with different companies with me such as the credit departments in different stores to help try to clear things up. But I haven't heard from LifeLock in a month, so, I'm assuming that there's nothing else going on right now. I've recommended them to several of my family and friends, too. Their service is necessary nowadays and I wish I had them all along then none of that would have ever happened to me.

I had my identity stolen and an ID fraud. A colleague at work told me about LifeLock and as a result, I contacted them and signed up. This person who stole my ID tried to open credit card and bank accounts as well as take out loans and LifeLock helped me manage all that. They contacted different vendors and made sure that all these were tagged as fraud. Their reps were very good, cooperative, and very professional. For instance, when we called one vendor and there was going to be a 30 minute wait time, they stayed on the line where I was able to get off. Long story short, they’ve saved me. They’ve kept me from getting in a lot of trouble with all the issues that I’ve gone through. I would recommend them to others.

They've caught at least three different attempts at opening new accounts using my name. In one specific incident, a member of the LifeLock team got a three-way-call going with me and Fingerhut to where someone had tried to open an account in my name, and got it straightened out. It's been very professional dealing with them and I appreciate that. I've already recommended them to a number of friends.

I've had Lifelock for several years and have been very satisfied. I've had Norton Antivirus for several years and was satisfied with their product as well. When I heard the two companies had merged, I purchased a "bundled" package from Lifelock. Big mistake. They sent me a link to install a new version of Norton and remove the prior version. When I did so, I downloaded the software and thought everything was fine, only to discover nearly 3 weeks later that Norton Security Online is not actually working and I don't have virus protection. Since then, I have tried probably 10 times to install the software but have received error messages with frequent requests to restart.
When I called the Norton support number, they had no record of my new Norton License since they're not integrated with Lifelock. They gave me a "special" number to call for Lifelock customers. I called that number and had much difficulty understanding the broken English of the service rep. After a while, they told me that they only deal with Norton customers and I needed to talk with another special Lifelock representative. Then, they put me on an endless hold. So far, still no Norton protection. If I don't get virus protection soon, I am going to report fraud by Lifelock. They took my money for the bundle, but haven't backed it up with actual virus protection.

I was very pleased with the service that I received from LifeLock. It was AOL that I got involved with it and I was already with LifeLock when it happened. I was concerned at first because my son was a victim of identity theft and I knew how tough that could become. But in the end, it was a nonissue and that’s the best kind of result. Apparently, there was a mistake and it turned out that there was no attempted identity theft. LifeLock's reps were able to do follow ups and find out what was going on. They put me in contact with individuals that could give me some assistance on the issue and things worked out really well.

LifeLock has a million-dollar coverage and getting them for my wife and myself seemed to be a good idea. I've had LifeLock for about 6 years now and it's been good whenever we have had to speak with them. They've informed me. When I first started out, they had one plan and that's the plan I got on. Then they came up with another plan, and now they have three plans. The first plan covered everything originally but then it didn't anymore. Still, I'm going to need it for now.
I had my identity stolen but I was under the wrong LifeLock plan, so I had to upgrade. They didn't help me the first time when I got my identity stolen, and I got charged $4,000 on my credit card. LifeLock didn't protect me from them because I didn't have the right plan and I didn't upgrade. Now, I'm upgraded and they have contacted me when the identity thief applied for some credit cards and stuff, but then the identity thieves applied for savings accounts and they don't cover that. But it's no big deal and I'm being notified on all that and I cancelled things. But still, the identity thieves applied for American Express credit card recently and I didn't hear nothing from them all.

After seeing a lot of commercials of LifeLock, I thought it would be good for me during my situation. So, I called them. The representatives from LifeLock have been excellent. They're on time with calling me when someone is trying to use my information. And if somebody does use it and I have to battle, they're ready to go to court and battle to keep my credit in line. LifeLock is excellent to have. They work with you and they're very knowledgeable about what they do and say. They promise if anything happens that they'll take care of it.

We had a problem when our accountant had his computers hacked and the hackers got our information out of the computers. Somebody told my wife about LifeLock and she signed us up with them. LifeLock has been great. I’ve had numerous issues with people signing things up and LifeLock has informed me immediately each time this has happened, and they contacted the credit unions and got things put in place to take care of the issue. I’ve had several phone calls from the LifeLock team to make sure that it was my account that checked the information and then they always stayed on the line with me when I was talking to the credit report places. LifeLock has been on top of everything and they have stopped numerous credit card transactions and other things that we would not have known about. They have done a fantastic job for us and I couldn’t be more happy with them.

The enhanced monitoring package is well worth the added expense in terms of a more personalized and hands-on experience. I watched Fox News and I saw an advertisement for LifeLock and thought it would probably be a good thing for us to have since I work for the government and there was a DOJ hack and a lot of government employees lost their personally identifiable information. When I had my identity stolen about a little over a month ago, someone had a credit card in my name, and they notified me. I was able to cancel the account, filed a police report, put credit watches through all the credit agencies, except for Experian -- they were horrible and they told me just to contact LifeLock. But, everyone else was great, so I had a really good experience. The LifeLock team was amazing and helpful. They follow-up on everything and they answer my questions really quickly. The customer service was amazing. I never, at any time, felt like they were trying to rush me or put me off, so that was nice. I have recommended them to other people already.

I had received something in the mail and I thought I was at risk. It was for a bank account that I never opened. It didn’t have money in it or anything but I just thought getting a LifeLock was a good idea. I had been in and out of hospitals for surgery and I think that’s where my information was accessible to people. So, I just wanted to make sure it wasn’t an issue.
LifeLock would contact me by text to let me know as soon as they see something that’s happening that could be a potential risk. I'd get a text at 7 in the morning on my way to work saying that someone had checked my credit history or had tried to open an account like maybe a credit card. If there was an inquiry and I didn’t know about the inquiry, I’ll call LifeLock. They tell me what it is that they saw. At one point, I asked and I went ahead and put a block on TransUnion and all those different companies like Equifax, where you can’t just open a credit.
Their reps were great. I also thought that LifeLock was very helpful, that it wasn’t just something like, “Oh, you should contact..." The lady from LifeLock that contacted me did a three-way call, called the company and told them exactly what was happening and spoke on my behalf. They were very hands-on. I really recommend them to everybody. I tell them to get it so that if they need it, they already have it.

This criminal identity theft has been going on for more than 25/years. The courts have allowed these criminals to use my information and to say and do things to damaged my life. I cannot get anyone to do their jobs to protect me as a US citizen. It's like the criminals have more rights. The people the organization do not care if a criminal does anything to citizens. I have loss all jobs because they think she is the victim because they allowed it to continue for years. Allowing me to be a victim of ongoing abuse by others because of defamatory of my character.
I have 90, 000 in student loans I cannot pay. I do make 150,000 a year, I don't make anything because the courts hire immigrants that feel sorry for these criminals allowing them to hurt me. My credit is ruined. I've been injured several times. The courts serve the criminals. Not the victims. Bank of America has put seven years of bad credit that was not mine on my credit report under another birth date and social security. Thanks for nothing.

LifeLock is a company that seemed to know what they were doing, and we’d heard a lot about them over many years. We first noticed that somebody had tried to apply for a credit card at Capital One and we called Capital One because they said that our credit card had been denied and we hadn’t applied for one. Capital One said that the people who applied had my wife's name and mine and our social security numbers as well, but they had failed other questions with Capital One. But because somebody has our social security numbers, we decided to join LifeLock.
We had been with LifeLock for more than a couple weeks and we got a notice that we owed a $4,000 bill that we hadn’t paid in Utah. Somebody had borrowed money in our name using our social security number. It happened before we joined LifeLock, but we didn’t know about it until after we joined LifeLock because LifeLock was the one that alerted us. So, LifeLock took over and now, it was really nice to have them as an advocate and they took care of it. They told us what we had to do and we sent information in and some of them are taken care of and that event has been cleared off on my credit, but not on my wife’s.
We’re very pleased. Everybody was very pleasant and very helpful when we talked with them and they sent us information. They give us e-mails of the specifics and everything worked out great. We’ve already suggested them to other people. I tell them what happened to us and if we hadn’t had LifeLock, Capital One was nice enough. We were fortunate that they denied the credit. So, it was just an unfortunate incident, but I would’ve never known about the other thing if LifeLock hadn’t alerted me. They have an app that I put up on my phone and I happened to be traveling when I got the alert from them on my phone that somebody had a judgment in court against me for money that I hadn’t paid to a lending company in Utah that I hadn’t borrowed money from.
LifeLock is a bit pricey. But I don’t know what we would have done if we had to hire lawyers and then go through all the stuff that we had to go through to get the issue in Utah taken care of. I’m sure that paying LifeLock whether we pay them here would have been less than the lawyer’s fee for that. I’m kind of sold on for the rest of my life.

I wanted to protect my assets and my identity. I don’t trust the credit agencies like Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion, and LifeLock seemed to be more secure. It monitors my transactions, my credit, and I am also counting on them to monitor for unusual activity, so it’s helpful. However, the girl at the customer service is not good, and the wait times are not great -- it takes maybe 20 or 30 minutes. Also, the fees were a little high compared to other agencies. $29 a month is kind of excessive. Nevertheless, I’ve kept the service for a while.

With the situation that the world is in today, with all the hacking, it was wise to look into identity theft protection. I called LifeLock and was very pleased with what I was told by their personnel. Their reps were very professional and eager to answer all my questions. A number of years ago, a relative got a hold of my social security number and once he had it, I'm sure he never forgot it so I put a fraud alert on my credit reports. My mother had LifeLock and she told me about it, so I went ahead and got it as well. I’ve gotten a couple of alerts and they've called me or sent me emails. One time, somebody used my information to apply for a payday loan and it didn't go through. There was another issue with a service like that which LifeLock caught. Their team is pleasant. They would usually call, answer a few questions and inform me of what they found. They'd send me an email with what I need to do, if I need to print something out and mail it in and follow up with information. It’s usually just a few minutes, answering some questions to verify my identity, and then it’s all taken care of. It's a really good service and I highly recommend it. It’s also reasonably-priced for everything that you get. I love it.

Our LifeLock service was provided through our annual employee benefits plan. It was one of those things that we chose to have and right after we chose to have it, we had some security theft. Every time there's a credit hack, LifeLock tells us. We recently had an issue when my identity was stolen and somebody applied for a credit card in my name. LifeLock's reps called us and they were all pleasant and nice. They followed up with the necessary department, called the bank involved, and got the account locked down. Then they sent me a form that I could fill and claim any lost money, so, it was pretty good. Now, we have the entire family on LifeLock. Everybody should get it.

Ten years ago, people took business loans on my name for a total of 1.2 Million. I'm still fighting that. My wife and I have lost everything. We had two financial crimes at the same time. One federal judge cleared me of everything. The second federal judge won't accept it. And someone back in my hometown, was able to get my Credit Union bank account numbers. Someone back in Holton or Hancock, Michigan tried to pay their Charter's, their cable bill. They took my bank account numbers and according to Charter, they had checked me. So, when I got my bank, we got a hold of Charter and we got a hold of four different supervisors. Two of them said they would pay me out of cash management. The other two said they wouldn't pay me and didn't consider that fraud.
It finally came down to where they said they would like to pay me the $90, but I don't have an account with them and they will only give it to me in credit. And I said, "What if I was in California? And there was no Charter like here, what would you do?" He said, "Well they wouldn't get it." I said okay. So, when I got a hold of LifeLock on this, they took over and got a hold of Charter. And Charter said, "We won't pay you because you told us the people live down Burke Street in Hancock." My bank and I got back with Charter and said, "No. You volunteered that information." It was all the warrantor's subpoena. I can't find out who it was. Then I hadn't heard from the girl from LifeLock. During December, there were two weeks I didn't get answers or phone calls. So, that's when I called in for a different claim adjuster and the guys were all, "Did you fill out the paperwork for our insurance company?" I said yes and he said that I fax it to them myself so, I did.
Then I got a hold of a representative from the insurance company and he said they'd like to try one more time with Charter. I said LifeLock has told me Charter is the worst on the deal list. So a little while ago, Charter denied it again. And my claim representative turned it back over to the insurance company. And I heard from him today. But I haven't gotten my $90 yet. So, I'm waiting to see if I'm going to get paid.
Most of my interaction with Lifelock has been by email and the girl I know was getting frustrated with Charter. I said to her the bank will talk to her. And four times I said, "Here's the number on that." But she never called the bank. And I was disappointed on that. But I always tell people, they have got to get something with LifeLock because I let them know what has happened to me. We just have a new grandson and I asked my son, "Did you get him on your LifeLock plan? You newbies are prime target." I have LifeLock sometime ago. I didn’t have it when I got here, with all these financial stuff. After that, I got LifeLock back again.

Shortly after purchasing Lifelock for both my husband and I last year, my husband passed. I contacted Lifelock to cancel his account. I have been unable to get in to my account; everything continues to come to my deceased husband including surveys, billing etc. Very hurtful to a surviving spouse!

My Credit Score dropped 43 points. I was not notified of this. The girl I spoke with was polite, But, I asked how I could find out why it dropped. My perception was she didn't know how to find why and she wanted to get me off the phone asap. In this type of business perception is reality. The last time I had to call Lifelock about an issue, I was on the phone with a manager that also couldn't help. I will be dropping Lifelock at the end of the month.

I am a bit disappointed. Over the last year both my VISA and Discover cards were both used and this has happened 2 times to each card in about a year give or take a month. My reason for disappointment is LifeLock did not detect or realize this until I made them aware of it. First time it happened I caught it when I got my bill and was going over my statement before paying and there were tickets charged to Jet Blue airline. I think it was over $1000.00 so I called and notified VISA and they dealt with it. Then I attempted to use my Discover Card while shopping a day after the VISA incident and my card was refused in Walmart. I immediately called and sure enough someone had been buy electronic equipment. Discover realized it was not me and froze my account.
I thought having LifeLock would help prevent this but it did not detect either theft. Now a year later it has happened again to both cards in a 48 hour period. My wife does not even take her cards out of the house and my cards are in my wallet in a little protective sleeve that is suppose to prevent them from stealing or scanning your number. I wish that you folks at LifeLock would have caught these fraudulent activities I would feel I was getting my money's worth on my annual fee. I thought I should let you all know what has been happening maybe it can help prevent further episodes of theft. Thank you.

LifeLock sounded like it was the best. My credit card is always over there and many times I had problems with people using my credit card so I call and I cancel the card. But then I say it might get worse than that one of these days. I recently had someone stole my identity. With LifeLock I thought it would just say, “Give it to LifeLock, and they’ll do everything.” But no, there was lot of stuff for me to do like a lot of papers to fill out. But in the end I still felt comfortable having LifeLock in my corner. The lady I'm working with was very good. She would email me and she would tell me what’s going on. She would keep me informed and she would say that if I had any problems, I could just email her. I would recommend LifeLock.

I’m more of a high net worth individual, and my wife and I were concerned about identity theft. I figured I might at least have some protection. LifeLock advertised the heck out of it and my friend worked there. Initially, we got notice through email and text, and then after that, made the phone calls, then they arranged for a time to contact us. They did everything they told us they would, so I’m very pleased with the service.
LifeLock has identified three attempts to gain credit for mobile phone services. They stopped the attempts and got us in touch with the vendors that were solicited for it, and also helped me put a freeze on my credit. They absolutely took control. They treated us very well and we enjoyed the service. We’ve been there now for two or three years. I have had people ask for it, and I said I would recommend LifeLock. We recommend it to friends and family.

I’m a senior citizen and I've been listening to a local radio station in my area for years. Rush Limbaugh, the moderator, has the commercial for LifeLock saying that if I mentioned the radio station when I signed up, I would get a 10 percent discount, so I did it immediately. The money that I pay per month for their service is worth it in the end for aggravation.
I’ve had LifeLock for three years now and the past couple of months, I used them for the first time. In fact, I’m in the middle of them helping me and they haven’t completed that ongoing situation. They are very well regimented in that I got instant contact via email telling me what to do. Then I had a phone call subsequently. They're still completing the process and I don't know how long it'd go on. Their reps lent me their ear and they were understanding. They’re doing well and I hope things are satisfied for me very shortly. I’ve also told a family member about them.

Somebody was trying to steal our identity and I didn’t know if there was any other thing, but we had to move fast. When somebody pretended they were us and had opened an account or attempted to open an account, LifeLock knew before I did and they called me, gave me a message and asked if that was me. Then, they called whoever the company was with me there. So, I didn’t have to wait forever online and we took care of it right there and then.
LifeLock was very quick to respond to anything. I probably wouldn’t have known about some things that happened on the other side of the states or the other side of the country, but they called me very quickly or texted me. Sometimes it was 2:00 in the morning when somebody tried to open an account online and they asked if it was me. And then, I could call them whenever I could to get back to them. Their response time is very fast and they were very good about helping me and giving me advice with the credit agency.
I've had LifeLock since November and I'd advise them to anybody especially if you've ever had your identity stolen. It's very frightening and it's almost a full time job. All I did, eight hours a day, was get called when I got these rejected applications in the mail. I couldn’t have handled it the way they did. It was much easier when LifeLock would call and say, “This isn’t her.” I'd recommend them to anybody.

I heard about LifeLock a lot but I don't ever follow through on anything. Then I decided to get rid of AOL but they talked me into staying with them because they had a deal with LifeLock. So, I stayed with AOL. It was the best thing I could have ever done because when my identity was stolen, I wouldn't have had any idea and I would have been totally overwhelmed. So I'm so grateful for the way the fates took care of me there.
LifeLock's team made the phone call and told me what I needed to do. Then, they called all the banks and walked through the whole thing with them. I simply wouldn't have been able to do it. Then I froze the banking one that one of the banks told me about and put a fraud alert on that. As far as anything else, I have no idea what happens if some financial responsibility comes up in the future. But I assume I could call LifeLock and ask them. I wish I could tell all the old ladies in the world like me to get LifeLock. It would save them a lot of trouble.

I just bought LifeLock through Norton and cannot get it to go on additional devices that I paid for through Norton. Bought 5 additional devices. Spoke with Norton (after finding a person that spoke native English) and were not able to help me because they are not doing support for Lifelock yet. If Norton is selling the product why are they not doing the support? Norton also charged me for additional software that they said I needed to go with the package but already had so I was able to get a refund. Looks like one hand doesn't know what the other is doing. Norton rep did say they would have a Lifelock rep call me by the end of the week to figure it out. I do have Lifelock installed on my computer but still waiting to get it on my wife's computer and that is where I need it the most. Any chance on speeding this up?
Updated on 04/17/2018: After my review with LifeLock I found out many things as to how it worked that was not explained properly by Norton. After several conversations with Norton and LifeLock finally got answers as to why everything was so messed up. The biggest problem was Norton is selling LifeLock and are not up to speed on support. Also their salesperson had a very thick accent and was very hard to understand. This was a poor move on Norton putting the cart before the horse. To make a long story short the additional software sold to me from Norton was refunded twice when it should have been once. After explaining all the problems Norton gave me back my original software at no charge.
I did close my account with LifeLock because they don't monitor activity below 100.00 which is where I was having all my problems. If I have to monitor my own stuff why pay such a high fee for someone else NOT to do it! One last thing, I was told by Norton sales that I had to install it on my other computers which was not true. It doesn't even install as a monitoring software. The whole thing was very frustrating and will Not use LifeLock and will discontinue Norton, which I had been a customer with for 30+ years, after the subscription runs out.

Arrogance is rampant - It is obvious to me they could care less about customer satisfaction at this point. I am really concerned if any identity theft did occur they would help. They fall back "clerical issues" or me not knowing how to work with The Company.

I had a problem with identity theft and figured I ought to get protected. LifeLock seemed like a good way to do that. Their team was very helpful and professional. Every experience I've had with them has been very pleasant. They stuck with me and call whoever the problem is with. I get the problem resolved with me on the phone. They don't leave me out there on my own and give me a phone number. Before LifeLock, I didn't find out about problems until they went to collection. LifeLock is ahead of everything.

There was an infomercial for LifeLock on the television Rush Limbaugh and our lawyer suggested we sign up with them. We have a trust and he was a trust lawyer. He was a pretty good guy and he seemed to know a lot about stuff like that, so we took his recommendation. When we got a letter in the first part of February from a collection agency that said we owed PayPal roughly a $1000 for an account that we didn’t open, we decided to give LifeLock a call. The person we talked to, Chris, was outstanding. We came up with a plan and we’re working on how to react to this. He stepped up through the process and said that we had to get a hold of six different credit bureaus and file the statement with the Federal Trade Commission. He told us it'd be a little daunting but he'd be with us all the way. And so, at this point, we’ve gotten one of the credit reports out of the six. But so far, we’re absolutely tickled.
In the meantime, when we talked to PayPal, they investigated and found out that somebody had taken our identity, opened the account, and made charges against it. So, they wrote it off. LifeLock’s one of those places that you don’t really hope to have interactions with or hope to have to have it. But they sent us an email about Identity Theft 101 which had some of those things to watch out for that are very informative. My wife and I would both tell our friends that we’ve been delighted with LifeLock and that they’ve exceeded our expectations.

My experience with LifeLock has been very good. They're there when you need them. When you call, they're always there and they never put you on hold. They always answer the phone and try to address your concern. I had one conversation with one of the representatives and she was on the line with me with one case I have. I'm in the process of figuring out what's going on, and I had to call them and give them some information about a couple of things that happened that I know they're not aware of, or maybe they are aware of but waiting for me to say something. LifeLock has been excellent. I recently was a victim of identity theft and a credit card was opened in my name. When they noticed that a new account was opened in my name, they called and asked me if it was me. I responded with a no, and it was sent to the bank and then we had a three-way call and they explained everything. They sent me some papers to fill out and encouraged me to file a credit report and send them a proper report. And then they'd inform me, advise credit, and notarize to give them the authorization to act on my behalf like a power of attorney, so they could ask the case for me.
They followed up with me to find out if I have heard anything. And everything was cleared. They made sure to ask if I had any out of pocket expenses, too. I was extremely happy with LifeLock. They were truly professional, competent, and courteous. They notified me and made sure that my name was cleared and that the fraud account was removed from my credit file.

Back in December, LifeLock had a year-end special discount. I'm in banking and we were looking at the different companies out there for our preventive identity theft measures. So, I took advantage of the deal and signed up. LifeLock monitors the credit bureaus. I can also put in my mainly used credit cards and they have that information on file as well for additional monitoring. Their representatives have been polite, friendly and were able to answer all my questions.
Identity theft is evolving and getting more complex. Nothing gives me greater peace of mind for less than $10 a month. LifeLock has been so great with alerting me whenever there has been credit inquiries and we've been able to nip things right away. Unfortunately, I'm a victim. As a precautionary measure I have LifeLock and the company has been very effective in preventing additional losses. I'm not ultimately going to be responsible for it and it's just a matter of what I'll pay for at the end of the day.

Some years back, when I heard LifeLock with Rush Limbaugh, I feel like it was good and was like an insurance-type thing if my identity was compromised. Recently, I had my identity theft issue. And so, I called them. They didn't necessarily raise the alarm about it. I found it out through AT&T. They apologized. They're not able to monitor every transaction, but they were able to put that instance in their files. And they keep track of it. They sent me a note. So, after this incident this last year, I'm watching to see how well they are with how they respond and the insurance that comes up. But so far, it has been good.

I saw LifeLock's ad online and I tried it. I fell in love with it and I’ve used it ever since. I used two or three different companies, but the best one is LifeLock, so I discontinued using the other ones. I’ve been a victim of fraud for the last two months. In fact, I’m in the process right now of freezing my account because of the credit bills. I get a call from LifeLock almost daily telling me about a new fraud that has come up. They explain what it is then we go to that particular credit card company. We have a three-way convo and they close it out as a fraud. So, it’s taken care of right then and there over the phone. Most of the other companies want you to mail your concern and they want you to do this and that. But LifeLock takes care of it directly. I’m happy with it and I wouldn’t change.
I did a phone call with them saying that there was an inquiry from Discover Card that somebody was trying to open an account in my name. I told them it was not me, that I had several credit cards with Discover but I don’t need it anymore and I don’t plan on opening any. They said we got to call in to make sure that Discover knew it was a fraud alert. So they put me on hold and called Discover Card. Then they got somebody from Discover online who asked me if it was okay for them to talk with LifeLock and I said sure. So, they gave me the information that they had and I disputed it because it was not me. Fortunately, the guy tried to use my name but he didn't get it right. And he used an address which for some reason, he couldn't change. So I already knew his address because there has been a couple of times when I was told what that address was and it’s close by. It’s crazy because he lives in the town next door.
That incident happened three other times with Sears, Wal-Mart and a bank out in New Jersey where he was trying to get a loan. So he kept on trying. He also tried to change my address but he couldn’t do that because I have a special verbal password. So if they asked him for it, he doesn’t know it and the company would tell him, “No, sorry, you’re not him”.

When I went to the state police to get an incident report filled out, they said that it would be a good idea to call LifeLock. I’m 80 and my wife is 72. We’re still working fulltime to maintain our home. We make just enough to get by, and it was a hard thing for us to pay just the amount that bought the lowest protection from LifeLock. We would have gone for it if it was more in our price range. If the price range would have been like, $400 or $450, we might have been able to afford that without putting a lot of extra pressure on us.
We took the least expensive one that was around $300. For that, they gave us vocal help. They let me know what needed to be done. And their suggestion was to go to the credit bureaus, particularly TransUnion because they will automatically give it to the other two. I thought I was going to get the help where they made the phone calls and checked the credit bureaus and so forth. But we were able to do it.
We would have been happier if they would have done it because it was a tremendous learning curve and it came at a bad time of the year. Nothing like this ever comes at a good time, but we just didn’t feel like we could spend the money, and so, we did without rest for a couple of weeks trying to get it all taken care of. That doesn’t make us angry at them, they have a business to run. But it would have been nice if we would have known ahead of time, but somehow, it got lost.
I’ve talked to them twice since then. Once within three days from the beginning to go over the checklist, which I haven’t done anything recently on it, except just look at the credit reports periodically and see if there’s anything in there that doesn’t look right, notify the banks to make sure that they are protecting my accounts, that nothing comes in that looks suspicious. And we also shut down our checking accounts at one of the banks. So far, since then, we haven’t had anything happen untowardly. I am happy with them and I realized that I got what I paid for. I'd still recommend them.

She told me that everything was resolved and she helped me set up a seven-year plan so that anybody trying to get information on me would be blocked. And she said that it all should be done and I should not have to worry about this particular incident again. It was handled very professionally and quickly, and I'm very satisfied with them. Anybody can get their identity stolen and LifeLock can help you out if that happens.

I was experiencing some ID theft and LifeLock was recommended to me. I had to report to LifeLock that I was having an issue. I was a member for almost a year and never heard from them. And then when I called to tell them about the activity going on on my credit card, they said they didn’t look into it because it was not considered identity theft because it was an existing account. And that somebody just stole my information and was able to go online and order some stuff. So, that was disappointing but I was given a lesson on what it is that LifeLock does.
Subsequent situations arose where people were trying to open accounts in my name. I was in the Equifax hack so my information ended up on the dark web. The LifeLock team has been wonderful and very professional. I have told a lot of people about LifeLock and I actually got feedback from them as opposed to me giving it to them. So, they all recommended that I contact the credit bureau to put a halt to anything that way.

I had been compromised three times so I started looking into identity theft protection. The main thing is that we can’t do all this by ourselves and we need the support of professionals that understand the system. And interestingly enough, when I went to the police department where I live, they just said “Do you have LifeLock?” and I said “Yeah”. I like that LifeLock notifies me if there’s a change. Like, for instance, I’m in the process of moving right now, so each bill that comes in, I change my address. And when that is reported, they send me an email or I get information through an app on my phone. They also have a bureau where I can look at my credit reports. And the people that I talk to on the phone seem to be very rather knowledgeable, very pleasant and helpful. Overall I’ve been satisfied with the service.

I've started building my credit back up and I start getting scared with me being a business owner, that somebody would hack into it, and they did. My social security number has not been used but somebody went in to a T-Mobile store, and bought two of the iPhone X, the most expensive phones, and put a $500 down payment and then for the rest, it's all in my name. I went to the license branch and they couldn't do anything. I said, "Somebody's walking around with an Indiana State ID with my name on it and their picture, and you can't do anything?" They said. "No."
I contacted Lifelock and I've got a fraud report out. If T-Mobile makes me pay for it, they'll pay it. It's the way I understand it. The lady did a three-way call and helped me shut down my Equifax and my TransUnion or Transamerica. And I had already shut down my Experian thinking that would do all three of them but she said no and that I had to go in and put a lock on the whole of them. She helped me with that and was very, very informative. She told me to go file a police report and told me not to worry about it.
It's just a hassle after shutting down the credit and do a police report and T-Mobile can't even tell me what store they went into in Indiana. I've been with T-Mobile for 16 years and they sent me a bill for what those thieves didn't pay. But Lifelock has been very, very good and educated me on what I need to do. They're very professional and detailed. I really like working with them. They got several other products too. With the cyber-attacks and everything that's going on, it's scary, and everybody needs to be protected, even my grandchildren. Lifelock is a precautionary I want to take on myself. I'm not spring chicken anymore.

LifeLock was my provided by my company when they had all of my information stolen, including my Social Security number, from their payroll account. Recently, I had someone use my Social Security number to try and open up an account for a jeweler. It was on a Sunday morning and LifeLock texted me at around 8 o'clock asking if I trying to open up the account. I simply texted them back saying that I wasn't trying to open up any kind of account. Then they emailed me to verify who I was. Apparently, that someone wasn't fraudulently trying to use my Social Security number but the one he used was one number off from my mine. But even if he used my correct Social Security number, I would never have known about it without LifeLock.
Every time I dealt their reps, they have treated me very nicely. I'm not the most computer-literate person in the world but they went through everything with me, explained how they were going to double check my identity and the identity of everyone concerned. So, it's been excellent every time. When my employer is done after 10 years of paying for the service for me, I will start paying for it for myself. LifeLock does exactly what they say they would do in the commercial and they're worth every dime.

We’ve been with LifeLock for a long time. My husband had just seen them and heard of them. He has been in the software industry and they were a very reliable company. I have a current issue going on and LifeLock has been excellent in helping me. They have caught the potential threats, have helped me with contacting the different companies and then they’ve also set me up with a restoration person. They also gave advice on what else to do. They’ve also contacted me, then they’ve done three-way calls with the actual companies, so it’s been very helpful. I certainly would recommend using them.

I have LifeLock Ultimate Plus membership. When events happened, I do not get notified until 30 days or later. I disputed my personal information changed with a Bank, that was not me... LifeLock did nothing. Weeks later, I verified with my bank; information was in fact changed without my consent, I had to go fix it. I also disputed a credit inquiry, LifeLock also did nothing. 15 days after I disputed with LifeLock, I received a new credit card that was applied on my behalf. Again, LifeLock did Nothing. I also disputed a new Application Alert... that I have not hear anything from. I question LifeLock's ability to protect. They have NOT done ANYTHING for me.

I've been a LifeLock member for years. It was something my husband decided on having. It's a wonderful service that alerts you in an event that you're being violated. They alert you to let you know if your identity is being used in any way. They give you the information to contact the person. Recently I was in a bad situation where I wasn’t able to speak because my husband had just had emergency surgery that morning. They wound up calling me but I haven't communicated with them completely.
I got so stressed out that I haven't even looked at the package. I haven't checked what my next step is but LifeLock is a real good service. Someone is lurking on the web and hey target folks with decent credit. It was making me more to wanting to have it. Anytime our social has been used in the past, we've been notified. I recommend having it.

I have LifeLock and I have Discover. And I think very highly of both of them. I'm very, very positive about LifeLock and I was bragging about them. I had called Comcast and I asked what their price was for a bundle with phone and they said $44. AT&T has reneged on it and I'm paying $83 a month, to AT&T. I said, "Well, I will be calling you when I move or change, but thank you." And LifeLock called me before a week was over. Someone had claimed they were me. Comcast has a new phone that they give and they had claimed to be me. So LifeLock caught it right away. When I communicated with them, it went very well. They're very cooperative and helpful.

We sent and email to LifeLock expressing our dismay with their decision to cut ties w the NRA. 24 hours later we received an electronic notice that our membership was cancelled. I was bullied by customer service and had to convince them I was a "regular person" (not the NRA) and that our cancellation was not at our request, but one that followed our unfavorable email. I wanted to know if this was the action of a rogue employee or a company policy to punish ideological dissent. After an hour on hold, waiting to speak with a manager, I was disconnected - never having aired my concerns. After 8 years well, I would have said they have a role, provide a worthy service and justify their cost of. Now, their integrity is in question and their politics suspect.

LifeLock's founder was willing to drive his Social Security number painted on the side of the truck around downtown where I live. It was persuasive combined with what the Glenn Beck Program had to say about it. I've been a LifeLock member for a lot of years and I have the ultimate plan. I've had four identity theft attempts over the last three years and one of them was just before Christmas. Six accounts were opened with my information. I have no doubt that it was at least in part due to the hack on Experian. LifeLock called me in the middle of dinner one night on a Saturday about 8:00 and told me they just wanted to know if it was me trying to open an account. And when I told them it wasn't me, they shut it down. Then an hour later, I got another call. They handled it all.
Everybody I've dealt with at LifeLock has been very professional and seemed to care. The last fellow that I dealt with went above and beyond. Apparently, they now have an insurance claim where one can make for their time wasted protecting their identity. I didn’t bother to make a claim, but I was impressed that they made the offer. I look at LifeLock as kind of an insurance policy. Anytime there’s been a need, they’ve been there. I have friends who had their identity hacked and didn’t have LifeLock, and their life became a nightmare.
If there was a way that LifeLock could deal with the ratings agencies without us having to be on the line, it would be really helpful. The ratings agencies and credit card companies don’t really seem to give a crap. There's one piece of information in my profile, which is an address that I never lived at, and one of the credit rating agencies just won't seem to take it off. Other than that, I tell friends regularly when the topic comes up that LifeLock is the least expensive insurance they can ever buy. I also have it on everybody in the family.

We had so many other problems that we experienced with or observed in just a year. On a number of occasions, LifeLock has called me to verify whether purchases were indeed ours which they were in the first scenarios. And then, just recently, around the holiday area, there was an instance where someone had gotten part of our identity and they made a purchase, and LifeLock made sure it was invalidated. That someone tried several avenues to get more credit and each one of them failed because of LifeLock.
We dealt with a number of people where it was repetitive. And then, we finally had a gentleman, a case manager, who called us from what we considered to be the main office. He was very professional and he might have spent an hour on the phone with us going over the materials. He gave me all the procedures that we were supposed to go through. So, we were most appreciative. I would recommend and have recommended them.

I had to become an independent contractor in the type of work that I do. So, I had to open up additional bank accounts and the gentleman that I bank with thought that it was best to keep things protected and he recommended LifeLock. I've already had three attempts to breach my credit and they stopped them all. It is crazy but it's real stuff. I get on the phone with the LifeLock team and they contact the people. They're involved with the accounts that were open and they're pretty much my liaison to go between getting me all set up to do all the right stuff. They’ve been great and hopefully, I don’t have to use them again. But if they're there, I know that they are.

In general, I am happy with what I hope is decent service from LIfelock, although recently I am a bit worried. I got a notification from LifeLock of a change of address, as reported by one of the credit reporting agencies. The new address had NOTHING to do with me, and I appreciate the heads up, but all LifeLock could do was give me the number of the agency to dispute the "change". They are also still marketing to me, after I have been a subscriber for over a year, offering me the benefits of membership I already have. This is irritating spam, and indicative that their system lacks fundamental sophistication, if they are still marketing to email addresses that are already paying members.

Identity theft protection is very important. LifeLock is worth the money I paid for me and my wife to get it. If you get your identity stolen once, it would cost you a whole lot more than that. My identity was used on a credit card and LifeLock notified me of it way before I would have known. They're investigating it right now and interacting with them has been easy. They called on the phone and followed up with an email then they gave me a direct line to contact them.

My brother, Wes, has LifeLock and when I first experienced identity theft, he told me about them and explained to me how it works. I called them and used the promo code, Rush Limbaugh, then they told me I was all set up. They asked if I wanted to add my wife and I agreed for 10 extra dollars. Then, LifeLock offered us an upgrade, so I wound up upgrading my wife and myself.
I’m really blessed that we have LifeLock because not too long ago, my wife's identity got compromised so she called LifeLock. On the other hand, I got a letter this weekend in the mail from Bank of America asking if I authorized a new credit card to be sent to Miami. I told them I didn’t and that I didn’t know anybody in Miami. I told them I had LifeLock but they said I have an existing account and LifeLock wouldn’t know anything about it because the social security number wasn’t being used. It’s been a nightmare but LifeLock was on top of it and I feel thankful that they are on my side helping me.
Their people were very one-on-one in terms of our interactions. I’m not trying to be cheesy, but when I called and talked to someone over there, they really seemed to care about me and my problem. And I’m sure they talked to a lot of people, but they gave me my individual focus that I needed. By the time I got off the phone with the individual that I was speaking to, I felt a lot better and a lot more calm because I was very high-strung.
At another time, someone tried to open up an account with Verizon in my name. LifeLock called me and I told them that wasn’t me. So, they got a hold of Verizon, then the next thing I know, I was on a conference call with LifeLock and Verizon, getting down to the bottom of it. That made me feel good. It was almost like I had my own personal attorney with LifeLock. I was also telling my brother, Jeff, about LifeLock and he’s planning on getting their service because of my experiences. So now, all three brothers have LifeLock.

I ran into an identity theft and I didn’t have LifeLock then, so I signed up and I've been with them for five years now. This is my second episode with them and they let me down. I thought they were more forward-thinking, but I've changed my mind. My first experience seemed to go okay. It was an identity theft and somehow, it was taken care off. I didn’t have any issues and I didn’t have to take the lead for it. I didn’t have to write pages of faxes and proof, documentation where my FICAs were or where the in-file credit with an address I've never even lived at was. It was resolved fairly quickly and it was done very well.
The second time, it was like they laid down and didn’t know anything. I ended up writing into a company called DTE in Detroit, Michigan. I've never set foot in Michigan. They had a utility account set up for me that was overdue by $2,000 from years ago, and somehow they matched up my phone number and Social Security number. Every time LifeLock called them, they’d say, “It's going to take more time.” It started in the beginning of October and I finally had enough by January and February. So, I wrote to BBB in Detroit and the attorney general in Michigan and in turn, they turned things over to the Board of Utilities, and it got solved in a week.
The first thing the rep did was totally different than my first episode with LifeLock. First, she said I had to send a police report in. That’s wrong, making a request. Then she said the police report had to list the business. She was also wrong about that because they don’t list it in a police report and they don’t give it to anybody else. Week after week after week, there was just, “They're working on it.” This is one of the few times in my entire life where I had to step in and take control. I shouldn’t have to do that. That’s what I'm paying LifeLock for, not just to protect my identity but to get things straightened out. It was very unfortunate and frustrating. And it was 180 degrees out with my first experience. I wouldn’t recommend them at all because if the client has to go in there and take control and then all of a sudden it's solved after a week, and it had been five months by the time it was solved, something is wrong.

I had someone use my name to open a few credit cards. After that, my friend referred the LifeLock and then I used LifeLock protect. I called them, I explained that I had that problem and that I need to protect before they open a new credit card then they protect for that one. After that, I didn’t issues anymore.
I called this member and addressed the review. He advised me that he did not intend to give LifeLock a low score and advised he is happy with the service.

I appreciate how quickly I can get ahold of a human over the phone. I've seen so many automated services fail me, so knowing a person is a few steps away is really comforting. I don't have much in the line of assets, but knowing what little I have is protected helps me sleep easy. It may be impossible to stop theft altogether, but this service does one better and helps you back on your feet. 10/10.

I still hope for good service and protection from Life Lock. However, I am experiencing communication problems. Life Lock has asked repeatedly for me to supply better information about connecting to my bank accounts. I have complied with their instructions to the best of my ability. They have asked again in the same words. I have tried again. I have sent messages telling them what I have done and asking them why it is not yet satisfactory. They just send me the same original request with no explanation.

Your company would be great if you could get your service to work. You have spent 7 weeks not calling me back about problems with my service. Fix it and you might get 3 stars. My service never tracks all my accounts. More than 3/4 of the time it only tracks half of them. Every representative has promised a call back from technical service and have yet to receive a call back at all.

They have helped me with possible fraud when people have tried to apply for loans. For example, it happened in the recent past and they have used my Social Security number. And so LifeLock intervened and called me and warned me by email and followed up with a phone call. They have treated me very well and I am very glad that we have subscribed to LifeLock. I'm very happy about my experience with them. I would tell my friends to subscribe and it is worth the money and definitely do it. There's just too much out there that is dangerous, risky and people trying to steal your identity. I would highly recommend LifeLock.

I was offered a really good pricing on LifeLock's service and this is the first year I've used it. Within two months of getting set up, they already caught an identity theft occurrence and that was pretty productive. But from the experience, I was initially informed of a breach and LifeLock did not reach out to try to remedy this situation for eight days. There was a lot that could have happened from when they knew about the incident and it was very concerning and disappointing that they waited that long to figure out the situation. I want some clarification on how they handle things when they know there's a breach and why it took eight days. But I’ve called several people about it and no one has explained to me why it took that long.
Other than that, the individuals that I dealt with were very helpful, just from talking with them over the phone. I would also recommend them to people because the service is going to catch stuff and I don't know if there's a better service out there that is willing to go above and beyond that LifeLock has not. Plus, they're branded so well and the service served it's purpose when I needed it.

I thought it might be a good idea to have LifeLock after someone had tried to get on my credit cards. The fraudster charged a considerable amount of money on one. They have all my information. They used it with Kohl’s department store, and I haven't been in one of their stores for years so I knew something was wrong. It happened several times and we got it settled.
LifeLock seemed to have a good reputation. They gave me a lot of good information and were very helpful. In fact, one representative called on one of the credit agencies, and I was very pleased with the way she handled it. She knew what she was doing. I eventually found out that the issue wasn’t hurting my credit, and it was taken care of. If people are having the same type of problems I've had, LifeLock is a good idea. It's a very cheap way to go-- about $19 a month and it was well worth it.

I suffered identity theft. We've heard so many good things about Lifelock and some of our other colleagues have them. At the beginning, I was frustrated because I would call and I would have to leave a message and no one would call me back. I'm a physician and I don’t have time. And the hours were a little bit off but then after I got to connect with someone, it was perfect. I got a dedicated person to help me and he's been amazing. I think it was Chris who's my account person. He stayed on the phone with me for three hours to resolve my issues. But I haven't followed up with him 'cause he emails some things that I have to fill out and get done. But they've been awesome. They're monitoring. If there's any activity, they reach out to me and they make sure that it's kosher, and that's huge. I would tell a friend to definitely go with them.

Dave Ramsey endorsed LifeLock. I had a lot of good success with other EOP's that he recommended, or his group recommended. So, I didn't go any further and went with Lifelock. They emailed me and said, "Hey, are you applying for this?" I said no. It was really easy to click in and answer all the questions and then within moments, I got an email that says, "This is what’s gonna happen. This is what you should expect." In the end it was quick, easy, and the follow through was amazing.
Then we had a second one. I got a weird text the other day about Wells Fargo. And the lady I worked with was really great and she went ahead and put through a request. And I got an email or a letter saying that didn't go through or couldn’t be completed and for me to give them a call. But communicating with LifeLock team was great, very easy and professional.
I work for Grainger and there's been a few times when we had a potential cyber alert. And when we do, my company offers the first year free to the employees that may or may not have been breached and I've been able to speak on behalf of LifeLock through that. I've recommended them to all my employees and people across my corporation. I have known people in the past, who have had identity theft. And it took them years to recover from it. And some of them didn't. It was a big problem. So, I share that experience. I say, "This is why I signed up for it because I heard and witnessed other people going through it." So, for the price, and for what's at risk, it's really something that I encourage.

Where'd my Social and ID go? Cause since I faxed it to LifeLock nobody there can seem to locate it. It's great, ya know, cause I went to LifeLock because it appears while I live in my mother's spare bedroom with a 552 credit score somebody in Vegas bought a $185,000 house in my name. So I complete a legal name change and inform all the credit bureaus, Should be in the clear, until I fax my new id along with the old id and the certified letter from the court stating I've done a legal name change along with the Social Security number which goes with it to LifeLock. Huge mistake. They told me to fax it in then call them back. Then they said it, "It takes a day or so, call back tomorrow," then again, "Call back tomorrow", then it was, "It takes four to five business days, call back later this week." Then I received another email, requesting the same information. So I called again, and was told it takes four to five business days.
Then I received an email stating the information had been received and I could move forward with the extended coverage. So I called again today and was asked to set up passcodes I already had and once again informed I was required to fax in the same documents I faxed in last week. Which is when I became upset and asked to speak to a manager to straighten out where my documents were and so I could close the account. I was transferred to another agent to close the account instead of the manager as I requested. That agent became offended that I was upset and hung up on me. I called back and did reach a manager. He was able to close the account, but I still have no idea where my fresh, clean and sparkly new very very very sensitive information got off to. Fail. Fail. Fail. Seriously, You had one job. Just one thing you are responsible for attending to.

I first had a very inexpensive plan, from AOL. I think it was free. And then, from there, it just grew. Until now, it's not inexpensive anymore. LifeLock has been wonderful and extremely helpful. They have a good name recognition and I got their identity theft protection service when I got divorced. Twice I've had people open up accounts with my information. They're small accounts but they are accounts and LifeLock notified me immediately and they were able to clear it up.

Getting an identity theft protection was a big deal for us. I'm an insurance broker and I see a lot of identity theft claims and problems going through, and I know the insurance policies don't help. My husband was most impressed with what LifeLock offered and also based on word-of-mouth. With LifeLock, I felt a little safer and I like that I would get alerted. Someone hacked into my Xfinity account before and ordered four new iPhone Xs and attached them to my account. LifeLock sent an email saying, "You may have a breach." And then, they said, "It's resolved. It wasn't related to your Social Security number. We're fine."
I started watching my Xfinity account and it really wasn't resolved. So, I called Xfinity and I was on the phone with them for seven times, for hours, and couldn't get anything resolved. I called LifeLock and said, "We need to re-open this. Here's the issue.” This lady from LifeLock, Andrea, was fabulous. Apparently, they thought it was resolved because of the way Xfinity responded back to them. Nonetheless, she got it resolved within an hour and their follow-up was impeccable. It was worth all the fees not to have that aggravation and to have that safety. I've told everybody about LifeLock since then. I tell them that for years, we paid for it and didn't use it, but for that one time, I realized how useful it was. Their reps were nice, calm and professional. If we had a real identity theft problem, I would trust LifeLock to handle it and the stress involved with it would be greatly reduced.

LifeLock is the best thing that I ever had. They saved my life and they’re the best because they’re low-rated, like the payment is good and they fight for you. I’ve seen them on the TV and I contacted them and they helped me. I couldn't get credit and I’ve been a victim of fraud and identity theft. For instance, someone’s got me living in a whole other address, and I never lived there. LifeLock contacts me and lets me know when something’s going on with my credit, unlike all the ones I had that didn’t let me know nothing until it was too late. Get Lifelock because you need it.

LifeLock is excellent. It's well worth what I'm paying for it. I've had some issues and Chris has worked really hard to help me get through some of the credit issues that I've had with the problem. Somebody has a tax ID number that matches my Social Security number that caused me a lot of problems and LifeLock worked so hard to clear it up. I plan on staying with LifeLock.

I signed up with LifeLock during the promotion with American Airlines. The deal was 10k points, and they said it would take 6 weeks. Well, it's been 10-12 weeks and nothing. I've contacted them and I get a canned "we've sent this to the appropriate department." However, I have no way to follow up, and they closed the ticket. As to the service, I have found free services that actually give me more protection – I liked the idea of LifeLock because I thought the customer service would be a nice thing to have, but there is no customer service. The three times I've contacted them, they simply did not care.

I liked what I read about LifeLock and I had been compromised so many times already, I figured enough was enough. Having them gives me more peace of mind. They've helped me out lots of times. They either phone me personally without a robotic call or give me a text message, or I get an email.

I had a case of identity theft last year and whoever did it was successful. It was all completely stolen and I went on a rampage for about a month. I didn’t have anything like LifeLock prior. I was just monitoring my credit reports via TrueCredit and I didn’t start getting any mail about all the inquiries and the open accounts until it was too late. Then I got LifeLock and it's been good. Every experience I've had with their team has been really good. When I first got the account, they assigned a special restoration specialist to me and they helped me to get everything off that was initially on there. I had some other stuff popped up from April of last year that they helped me to get off again. Then in November, I found some more that got reported later and they helped me to get all of that off as well.

Paraphrase from supervisor Shenay: "If someone has used your personal information to create a fake ID and make fraudulent purchases YOU need to take care of it". (emphasis added). (I took notes but could only talk and write so fast). Background: Four weeks ago I had a data breach and thousands of dollars of merchandise was charged in my name. LifeLock caught it 48 hours after it started and helped me deal with the fallout. I was really impressed with the help. Today we found out from T-Mobile a driver's license was used to fraudulently purchase two cell phones in my mother's name (we're on a family plan) 11 days ago. I get on a conference call with my mother and LifeLock. Had to call twice b/c a manager can't initiate a conference call at LifeLock.
Was told that the email information I got with the URLs to freeze your credit cannot be sent to my mother because using a fake license in her name is not, I repeat NOT, identity theft. It is only attempted identity theft so she is not eligible for the URL links to the credit reporting agencies to freeze her credit. It is not identity theft b/c we are not yet being held responsible for the charges. I was also told that we couldn't prove identity theft b/c we did not have a copy of the fraudulent license actually in our hands. We're in Pennsylvania and the theft took place in Texas. I got the number for the T-Mobile store in Texas and they confirmed that an ID (comparable to, but not limited to, a Driver's License would be required to purchase goods on someone's accounts).
Was repeatedly told that only the Restoration Team had access to the list of things one can do if their identity has been compromised and told my mother could call the credit reporting agencies and have them mail her a report to see if she'd been compromised. Was also directed to the LifeLock account page for my mother to look at her credit report to see if there was an issue without being told that that information was only updated once a year. Sidenote: My credit report was updated Mar 26, 2017. If my mother's is the same and we had taken the agent at her word my mother may have incorrectly believed that to be up to date information. I only got the "once a year" information by pressing the agent on it.
I am incredibly offended by being told repeatedly that someone using a Driver's License with my mother's information to fraudulently purchase goods IS NOT identity theft - it is just attempted identity theft because the company is still investigated and has not yet confirmed we will be charged. They said they wouldn't charge but so did Kohl's in my case and then sent me bills for the stolen goods. So, until the investigation is completed, I can't be sure I won't be charged. According to its employees, LifeLock is only a Restoration business. They do not help with identity protection unless you can prove financial liability. They do not help you with resources to check your credit. They do not provide victim's assistance or information on how to protect yourself when you've experienced a breach beyond telephone numbers for the credit agencies where we could request that credit reports be mailed out (likely a 5-7 day delay).
I called a friend of mine who dealt with identity theft independent of LifeLock and she sent me URLs to request free credit reports that we can view online. I can't find the email I was originally sent from LifeLock but was told that's what I needed to do if I wanted my mother to have access to that information. Was also corrected when I said "only certain types of people can get that information from LifeLock" with the response that that's not true. Only "people who could prove they were being held responsible for the purchases" could have the information. << That's a type of person. Wouldn't it be nice if the 'type' was people who have LifeLock accounts? When I said I was going to file a complaint I got the snarky response that that was "great, really great." This is an indicator to me that LifeLock employees do not care about the level of service they provide and that complaints directly to the company are not followed up on.
There is also no concern about complaints to the BBB (which is my next stop). My experience with the staff told me one thing for sure, it is going to take a lot to get something other than a scripted response repeated over and over from LifeLock. And final insult "Let me know if I can help you further." No help was given in the first place. Just script read responses and absolute disinformation about what constitutes identity theft. Help me out here, a fake ID and personal account information were used to purchase two iPhones in my mother's name. No one caught this as fraud but my mother when T-Mobile sent out a survey asking about her in-store experience. The store confirmed that an ID in the requestor's name would have had to have been used to purchase the phones. And that does not constitute identity theft according to LifeLock.
We called stressed and concerned because we see what happened to me four weeks ago playing itself out again and got nothing but scripted responses about how identity theft is not LifeLock's concern just financial restoration. We're Ultimate Plus members and the plan says you get to talk to an Identity Protection Agent. How was anything that occurred above protective? We reported an incident that we uncovered and got scripted responses and, as our frustration grew, condescension. The website says that this plan can "help protect against criminals building fictitious identities to open accounts or commit fraud." But I was repeatedly told we needed the stores to charge us to get even a pre-formatted email with helpful information on protecting her credit. How is that protective?
We have good reason to believe her data was breached and wanted to proactively protect her identity and were repeatedly told we were on our own except for phone numbers to agencies that are closed but we could them write down and call when they're open. Here's where I have a real issue. We were repeatedly directed to out of date and unavailable avenues to deal with this issue when there are efficient available resources. This was done by the SME's on identity theft that we pay for their expertise. So the customer support agents aren't even remotely well informed about identity theft protection.
From the LifeLock description of our plan "If your identity is compromised, an Identity Restoration Specialist will personally handle your case and help restore your identity." According to multiple employees we spoke with today, that is not what LifeLock does for someone whose personal information was used to fraudulently make purchases until it is definitively proven that that person is being held responsible for the charges. We asked for a pre-formatted email for help in protecting my mother's identity. Just doesn't seem like too much to ask for. I am at a loss here. All the goodwill this company built up handling my case has been undone. I just can't believe how different this experience was from the ones I had just a few weeks ago.

Someone tried to take out a credit card. I got a notification and it was denied. So, I decided to get identity theft protection and went with LifeLock. When we had that identity theft issue, their guy was great. He walked me through all the steps and we put a freeze on my credit. However, when I got the problem with the AT&T, LifeLock did not pick it up. I got this huge bill for some three phones that were taken out in my name and I didn’t quite understand why LifeLock didn’t find it, to begin with when they were trying to get the credit. But the bottom line is, once the problem occurred, they were great. They handled everything and got my credit reports and all the stuff that needed to be done, so it was all resolved. They’re professional and they did an excellent job.

There was a slight problem with my identity. After I provided all the information that LifeLock requested, they resolved the problem. So, everything was back to square one. Their team seemed to be very helpful and had the intent of resolving the problem. I was happy with LifeLock. They worked effortlessly to protect my identity if the need ever occurs. At this day and age with all the break in the security out there, protection is very important if you have any assets or charge cards or anything you want to keep out of the hands of people who want to steal it.

Not being notified when credit is pulled, not being notified when credit card charges meet amount we requested a notification. Response from Life Lock was cut and paste paragraphs which didn't answer my questions. They did send me a notification my credit score changed. Doesn't LifeLock know this occurs continuously? Husband is also with LifeLock but receives solicitations to sign up. They should know he already has paid. Hard to believe there is any monitoring. Will not re-up.

LifeLock has been excellent. I went through a big rigmarole recently and they definitely backed it up. T-Mobile was saying that I owed them money and I had a lawyer coming after me. I had a lot of problems with people using my name. The LifeLock representative that I had was excellent. She was on the game and I felt the confidence level. They took me right to where I needed to be, and we got it all cleared up. If anybody out there has identity theft, they should really look into LifeLock because they stand behind you and get the job done. It’s a good product and I would definitely recommend them.

LifeLock is the best at what they do. I had my identity stolen and several accounts opened in my name, and they helped me get those resolved. Their people were great, especially the identity restoration specialist who had been really awesome. Instead of making me make the calls, they made the calls and put me on the line with the people I needed to talk to. So, they made it so much more simple because they work with these people all the time. They got them on the phone and they prepped me for what questions they were going to ask and then I was able to authorize them to do the things they needed to do to help me.

An ad on television indicated all sorts of information on how LifeLock is going to protect a person, and I thought it was a good idea. I got LifeLock and I've had a good experience. They notified me of three fraud events where my ID was used. One was at Home Depot, and the other ones were at Best Buy. They advised me of an opening of an account at Best Buy, which I never did. They told me who to contact, I got credit reports back, and they cleared those two. It worked well and I felt really good with the team at LifeLock. The only issue I had is the police department that I filed a report still has not contacted me and my biggest concern was how the thieves were able to open an account in my name over the internet without me even being there. But in reference to LifeLock, they helped me have those credit cards cancelled. I'd tell my friends to get LifeLock.

So far, they've helped me with a fraudulent claim. They took care of all that. They took a power-of-attorney and called the companies and got it removed from my records, credit report, etc. Their reps were very professional, very thorough, and very helpful. LifeLock has been very good regarding bank checking account activity. But no monitoring of my credit card activity at all. That really concerns me. I have had some recent very significant credit card activity and no contact from LifeLock questioning these transactions which is indicative that my credit card transactions are not being monitored. I believe credit cards are more subject to fraudulent activity than bank accounts.

I received a fraud alert regarding a Citibank card. The fraud came from one of the credit bureaus. I contacted LifeLock. The LifeLock agent told me that I should get my credit report. I asked if she could do that. She said she could not do it for me. I have the upgraded plan, yet I was told there was nothing they could do to help me and that I need to take care of it myself. Why am I paying LifeLock to do nothing more than state the obvious?

I had an identity theft, and LifeLock was able to catch it immediately and stop it. The LifeLock team has been good, but one thing that I really like and would want to have is one person handling my account if I'd have an identity theft or questions. And I would prefer if I could get this person's direct extension, so I don’t have to talk to anyone other than him. If I get any kind of call with an issue, they should immediately say, “This is the direct person that you're going to be dealing with.” I don’t have to call and explain everything. They're going to know my information and story. So if having one rep could be possible, it would be the best thing in the way it should be handled. But they're trying really hard.
They aren't perfect, but they notified me that someone did four things in hours trying to open up credit cards under my name, and they were all shut down. The only thing I didn’t like was some of the agencies won't work with LifeLock, so I had to make the phone call to Equifax and another one. Macy’s wouldn’t talk to LifeLock, which I understand. So they talked to me. I would tell my friends that something is better than nothing, and I'd recommend LifeLock. But if they don’t want to go with LifeLock, then they could go with Costco which has the same kind of thing. It's something one has to have today. People are mean out there.

The world started getting worse with fraud, and we are living in Miami and it is really bad. And then, my sister and I were not on good terms and our social security numbers are identical except for the very last number. And she had a history of doing things like using my social security number. I then wanted to protect my identity and my credit. I joined LifeLock and I've been with them for at least seven years and they've been good. I've had my identity compromised three times in the past five months, and LifeLock helped me immensely in every aspect and kept me calm. They've been guiding me, helping me take care of everything, and they made sure that nothing stayed on my credit report.
On the first compromise that I had, somebody opened up a credit account in my name and maxed it out. LifeLock stepped in immediately and contacted the person who established the credit and canceled everything. They made all the phone calls and had me on a conference call. They knew what to do. A regular citizen like me would freak out. We don't know what to do right away to start fixing or stopping what's in the process. And LifeLock does. They were able to stop the process before everything that they maxed out was sent out because everything that the person who opened the account purchased was online.
Also, LifeLock was able to get everything taken off of my credit report. And they have my fraud alert for seven years on all the credit bureaus. So, at any time anybody tries to open anything, and then even myself, it won't go through until whoever is giving the credit reaches out and calls me. The LifeLock team has been very thorough, professional, very kind, and compassionate. They're a great team. And if there's anybody out there who worries about the same things that I worry about, I would always recommend LifeLock as protection and help.

I had LifeLock years ago and never needed it then, and I wasn’t sure of any other company that did the work that they did so I went back. On August 27th, I was alerted of my identity being compromised. I'd received several alerts and several different credit cards had been tried to be opened under my name. LifeLock helped get those removed off of my credit report and worked with me in establishing the fraud alert on my account. Then about two months ago, there was a Target account that was opened under my name and they helped to remove that. Their team is outstanding. They handle it all and I don’t have to stress over it. That’s what makes paying the monthly fee worth it.

I have been like a lot of other victims where I find out when I get that bill on the mail and I'm trying to explain, "It's not me." I had my identity compromised so I said I got to do something and I hear good stuff on the radio and TV about LifeLock so I called them. Thank god I made that phone call and this year has been a blessing to have them. Someone had taken my identity and tried opening credit cards online. Before I get this nightmare build up, I didn’t have anything to do and I get a text from them because they're monitoring things and saying, "Is this you?" And I said no and asked them what I'll do next. They knew what to do next.
So we called the creditor which would have been the people that issue the credit cards out. Lifelock was with me while these calls were being made and they walked me through everything. They were right there with me. As soon as I called, someone's very concerned for me. And the thing is right off the bat and it's like, "We’re taking care of you. This is going to be okay." They give me the confidence in what they're saying. I'm 63 years old and when I go through this and have people that are trained, I know they know what to do. Each one of their members is an asset to the company. It's better to have LifeLock than not have and I've let different people and my family know what has gone on.

I worked in the Department of Corrections, so I worked with people that stole people's IDs. So, when I did my route, I've listened to these men that steal IDs and I've learned their trade. I did a research and found out that LifeLock is the number one in the nation. So far, I like their service, it works. In fact, they're working on a case right now that people had abused some information and had opened up a false account.
Also, I found out I was pregnant in Texas and didn't know it. Then, I was a six-foot-tall, black guy with a bad driver's license in Maryland. Then, I have a loan account with the fire department in Anaheim. Some bank did a credit check to get my credit report and we found a lot of stuff. I had to go to the police department and prove to the DMV that I wasn't a six-foot-tall black fellow in Maryland that got a ticket back decades ago.
However, they sometimes didn't pick up all the security things. They don't cover all the bases. In some ways, it leaves people vulnerable because there's a lot of loans and things that I did, which they had no idea about because they don't cover those certain types of banks. They don't get issues with them. And that's a breach, but that's something they are working on. They don't cover everything, but I like that they're there. Nonetheless, LifeLock reps have always been friendly and informational. They listened and did what they could. Everywhere I go, people ask me what I use, and I tell them about LifeLock.

LifeLock is the most advertised identity theft protection provider and I'd also heard from other folks in my life that they had it. And with all the breaches that we've had over the last few years, I decided to get it. I had a breach this year and LifeLock jumped on it right away. They notified me of it and took care of things right away and made it easy for me. LifeLock's team has been very knowledgeable, professional, compassionate, and they walked me through everything. I'm glad I have LifeLock and I've told everybody to get it if they don't have it.

I had been hacked and my identity was stolen, and I was really upset. It was from the data breach in early fall, and I'm super careful when I travel abroad and I do very little online shopping. A friend of mine where I volunteer at and I went to lunch and she told me about LifeLock. I needed to get protection ASAP and I liked LifeLock's $1,000,000 protection. I've been dealing with a young man named Stacy and he's been so helpful. He deals with people that have gone through this every day, and he was very sympathetic. So, I really appreciated that he didn't put me off.
I've been with LifeLock since January 2nd. I called them and then, they returned my call. They helped me contact TransUnion. And then, they put somebody from TransUnion on the phone. And so, I have a seven-year fraud protection with TransUnion because I've been hacked. And then, TransUnion was supposed to contact the other two credit bureaus. I was worried since my parents just died, and I inherited a lot of money. And I still have it in the checking account. And so, I've been a little nervous. And Stacy told me too that I should take all that money and maybe put it in a money market.
I've already recommended LifeLock to a lot of my friends and told them about the $1,000,000 protection. I also told them that my bank told me too that I'm insured up to a certain amount. The friends that I have are my age and they've also just inherited money. And so, they don't want to lose that money. One of my husband's friends at work told him that he got hacked. They stole $17,000 from his bank account, which is the same bank we bank at.

I signed up for LifeLock after my identity was stolen and a high limit credit card account was opened in my name. They are supposed to reach out to you every time you have a credit report pulled on you. I bought a $30,000 - didn't hear from them until a week after the purchase was complete. I just took out a $25,000 line of credit for my home a week ago - and STILL haven't heard a peep out of them or gotten an alert. But someone once tried to open an online credit account for $100 and they were all over that. Now I ask you - which is more impactful to someone? A loan that can cloud the title of your home or a Walmart CC?
I was unable to locate an account under the email address or phone number that you provided in your review.

I bought a membership and after two weeks, I still didn’t get a credit report. I called and asked why it’s taking too long and I was told that I should wait a couple of more days. It’s unacceptable. Terrible customer service.

I wanted to switch my monthly payments to where I could control them and make them but LifeLock wouldn't let me because their policy of Automatic Withdrawals was final and they would rather lose a customer than allow me to change my monthly payment options.

I received a text stating there was an attempt to open a new charge card in my name on February 1st. I responded it was not me who made that request. I expected a call back. 1 1/2 hours later I called LifeLock. The text told me to log in to LifeLock to review my next steps. I logged in and found nothing referring to this alert and no directions on what to do next. I questioned where the attempt was made. I was told it was attempted 6 days ago at Dick's Sporting Goods. Six days ago!
It took LifeLock 6 days to tell me an attempt was made to open an account in my name! I am paying $25 a month for my husband and myself! I was under the impression any attempt to open a new account was going to trigger an alert! I asked why it took a WEEK to send me an alert!? She could not answer that question. I wanted to speak to a manager. No one was available so I was told I would receive a call back in 24 to 48 hours! What a joke! Someone could have been using a card in my name for a week and I would have had no knowledge of it!
By the way the attempt to open an account was my attempt the week before. I had placed a credit freeze on my account- nothing to do with LifeLock. I assumed the request for the charge card did not go thru because of LifeLock. LifeLock wasn't even monitoring my accounts!!! The application was rejected because I personally had placed a credit freeze for myself and my husband as suggested by my son who works for a bank. I am canceling LifeLock immediately. A bunch of empty promises on their website. You notice they really never tell you how they are going to protect you...

Got LifeLock through employees benefits. I am paying monthly Sign up for myself & 2 children. Got email asking for info about my dependents. Your website wouldn't allow me to enter info get subsequent email canceling dependent 'cause I didn't get info to you. Then you tell me it's up to me to straighten it all out! Horrible customer service. You owe me a month's service for my kids.

Attempted to reduce the level of my LifeLock coverage. Got charged for the expensive plan that I cancelled! Agent demanded my CC # and promptly billed me for the hi-price spread that I didn't want! No refund in site. Was kindly informed that my wife and I now had the "basic" coverage.

Somebody opened a bank account in my name. I went online and did a lot of research, and LifeLock was one of the few companies that offered something really specific. And they also were more interactive in helping you get the issues resolved. I've had many fraudulent applications made in my name and LifeLock has worked with the banks to get those collected. And with the credit used, they got them removed as inquiries. LifeLock's team has been really professional. They stay on the line the entire time that I am talking with the bank and they don't leave the call until after I am comfortable. I'm happy with their services.

Like most Americans, I have received letters from various employers, vendors, and business associates that say, "Hey we are really sorry but we had a breach and your stuff was taken." I've had my info compromised by my last two employers and various vendors. I got a letter recently from a small company in California and that company has lead to some identity theft which is why I have been working with LifeLock. As of March of last year, I've had a number of breaches of my stuff. The person who got my info chose Verizon and Comcast. I've got eight Comcast accounts although I've never done business with Comcast in my life.
With Verizon, LifeLock was able to help me on the phone with the Verizon rep and they just took care of it on the spot. But I was a customer of Verizon. So, it kind of made sense and maybe my info might be in their system. With Comcast, I don't know what this company thinks it's doing. They might have a system set up where people get commission based on setting up new accounts. They will not let you kill an existing account. What happened with Verizon which took like ten minutes is impossible with Comcast. I've had a notarized affidavit done but the LifeLock team says Comcast requires a police report. Otherwise, they won't listen to LifeLock or companies like LifeLock who help prove that they're legitimate working with a customer. Comcast doesn't care. So, I'm up to number eight in terms of showing Comcast accounts that have been created in the last two months.
But LifeLock telling the customer there's nothing they can do without a police report is not true. I'm a lawyer so I know this. They can send letters and they can contact the customer and say, "The following eight accounts are fraudulent. Here's a signed affidavit from the customer who's being defrauded." Comcast can't just throw that in the trash and say, "We don't listen to anybody unless it's a police report.
I understand Comcast is difficult to work with but I feel like it's being used a little bit as an excuse. When you're in the business of helping people with identity theft, you ought to have an existing relationship with the Fraud Department at Comcast and probably major companies across the country because that's what you do. You're always talking to fraud office of various places and you should have a way that says, "I'm from LifeLock," and Comcast says, "Okay, give me your vendor ID number," or whatever system Comcast uses to show that the person that they're talking to really is from LifeLock.
Once they know that, they should be able to say, "Look, here's a list of names, these are all bogus accounts." Comcast doesn't necessarily have to take that as gospel but at least they said, "No, these are legit." If I work at LifeLock, especially if I were in the Legal Department, I'd say "Comcast is a pain in the butt. We have to do something, hire and better for our customers." That particularly challenging situation should fall on LifeLock. They're paid for the service.
But I don't blame LifeLock, I blame Comcast. I had the same person creating phony accounts in two different utility companies and with Verizon, they'll knock it down in one phone call in a day. Also, their service is generally good and it's been great with their team. But it's also difficult because sometimes they call me during business hours which fine but sometimes I've got a chunk of time and sometimes, I have no time at all and they get my voicemail.
The way their system works is that they send you an email but you're not working with any particular person, you use their call center. I know they probably have an internal system that says, "Bill is working with Roger on this one. So I might as well turn this back over to him." I just wish they could have an actual email because they email me and they have a person's name, so I know I'm dealing with Nicole. Then, I talk to her, which is great, and I have some stuff back, email back, and I think it gets to her. But it would be easier for me if Nicole had an email address that was unique at LifeLock so that I can just email it back instead of sending it back to the call center. I've worked in teams that managed call centers so I get that maybe that how they streamline everything - put it through one single point of contact so that they can manage it better. Although that's good for the company, that's not so good for the customer.

There was a couple of times when someone tried to apply for a loan in my name and LifeLock notified me right away. It apparently never went through, but they were good to keep watch on my transactions. The people at LifeLock have always been very thorough and quick to answer me and to see what my needs are. LifeLock's the only one I trust because of what I know about them and what I've learned over time. I would tell my friends that they need to look into it. In today's world, we need to be careful with everything all the time.

I’m in tax repair and I see lots of identity thefts so for peace of mind I availed of LifeLock's services. A friend of mine uses it too. I had it for a year and nothing happened. And then all of a sudden, I got a note saying someone was trying to access credit on a new credit card. Neil was really helpful and was able to fix it. A week later, someone was trying to do another credit card so I went and put a freeze on my credit line. The LifeLock people were excellent. We were on the phone in a three-way conversation with a couple of the credit card companies and we recognized that we probably won’t be doing business with them. They were so uncoordinated. The Lifelock people were assertive and nice and got the job done. I was very impressed.

I got my identity stolen. It took me two years and I never want to go through that kind of experience again. Then, I was in the military and in the military, we travel quite a bit. You're put in terrible countries and you're stuck in places that are unhonorable. Then, you have to use a credit card. You've got to be very careful because you don’t want these people to know private information so that they can damage you financially. And then you put extra security on these things but it's difficult sometimes when they won't accept this credit card with a bogus region. I got LifeLock just for protection because all the military members were talking about it.
Someone stole my wallet at a Walmart and I thought, "I have LifeLock." Then, they tried to open up a credit card and buy a house and a Cadillac. I kept getting notifications. Thank God LifeLock said, "Are you doing this?" I said no so, it was automatically shut down. I guess there's a code that you send out which locked them out of the system which is wonderful. That was cool so, I've always kept it. Then about two months ago, here we go again. I got notified that someone was trying to get a credit card, buy a house, and get a truck driving license in my name. We shut all that down and if I wasn’t getting the notifications from LifeLock, I wouldn't have known. I'm protected because I'm notified. And what I appreciated is that they said that if they don’t catch it, they'll pay to fix it.
If there's an issue, I call LifeLock and they get on it. I don't have to send them reminders. Also, their people have always been very courteous and I appreciate when they take the time to talk to me. They have a wonderful representative who talks to me and tells me she'll check it out. To me, that's why I've kept it because I don’t have time for this stupidity. It saves me a lot and I have recommended it to my military buddies.

My credit score was getting up on the 760's and I was afraid that somebody might hijack my identity. I was looking to protect myself for the near future if I wanted to buy a house or a car. I never thought in my life I would need LifeLock but apparently, I was right that somebody was going to take over my credit and I got them six months before this happened to me. They stopped someone from taking over my identity. They alerted me that somebody was trying to open a credit line from the Macy's store. I decided to let it go for four days and they were doing their investigation. It was over the weekend and then, on Monday, they reached out to me and asked if I had contacted the store. Then, the rep put me on the line with the customer rep from Macy's and we were able to lock it down and close that fraudulent identity.
LifeLock's reps are professionals. Up to a certain point, they couldn't give me the information of the credit address. Macy's had the address of the person trying to take over my identity and I was asking for the address. Obviously, they cannot give me that without a police report or something to that effect. I felt kind of violated that I couldn't get the address. But I'm happy I got them. It was a good choice and I do recommend them. I tell everybody that I like that I think need protection about my experience, especially homeowner friends that I got. People kind of don't want to get into this, thinking it's not going to happen to them but I'm persistent on people that I know. Also, I'm very happy that whatever I'm paying is not compared to the headache I was going to go through shutting it down and trying to prove it wasn't me. I saved time and effort calling in and being persistent.

I got a credit report and it said that there were several things on there that I had never ever done. They should be checked into but I haven't gotten to it. I got LifeLock now and so far, everything has been wonderful. The thing I appreciate the most is that they put a free use for the next seven years and I don't need all these things from the bank and credit card companies.

I had a call from a collection agency and found that somebody had stolen my identity and taken out a loan. I wanted to make sure that it didn't happen any more after that. The guarantees and the popularity of LifeLock had a good track record, and the prices were reasonable. I signed up with them thru their app, and after I did, somebody had tried to go in an open another account. LifeLock alerted me, I let them know that it wasn't me, and it was shut down. After I entered the information from the false accounts that were trying to be opened in my name on my cellphone, to state that it wasn't me, a few days later a representative called me up. Then they went in with the service provider that the fraudulent activity was going through and, with me on the line, talked to them, together, to verify that it was not me that was trying to open an account. LifeLock has worked for me and I'll continue using it. I've already recommended them to a friend and family.

We've had several instances of identity theft and we heard an expert in cybersecurity say to get a LifeLock because that's the best identity theft protection out there right now. And so, we did. It's just reassuring to know that they've been there and that they let us know when something comes up. Most recently in the last couple of months, something has come up and they had looked into it. They've been very responsive and they've gotten back to me about things. And thankfully, we were able to resolve the issues. But for me and my family, it's just wonderful to know they're there and they're looking after us. The LifeLock team has been wonderful, very understanding and very patient. We recommend them to everybody we know and it's amazing how many people are clueless about all of the issues that are out there.

A few years back I had a little issue with identity, but I didn’t think of it because it only was a one-time thing. So I decided, maybe I should try it. I liked what I was hearing on the advertisement about LifeLock so I went with them. It was more than what most of them would actually pay and they're true to their word. Then all of a sudden, sure enough, right after I got the LifeLock is when I had a very bad experience with identity theft. I was pretty much having calls from LifeLock just about every other day. I had people trying to take loans and credit cards under my name, and all kinds of stuff. I had major issues of identity theft and I'm glad I started with LifeLock.
LifeLock helped me with a few of the credit card companies that would not even attempt to remove the inquiry on my credit. We had to negotiate with them and prove that it was identity theft. But they came in handy with that. And their app is very good because I keep an eye on all my credit scores and everything that I'm using. The application is very well done and very well made. When the LifeLock team calls, they're very cordial. They're pretty much down to the point and caring, on top of that. I've literally had them hang up on credit card companies that were just giving me the runaround and then have them call again and have another person from that company call me. They're the best thing I ever did. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. They are lifesavers, as far as I'm concerned. They saved me quite a few times from identity theft and having to deal with it and the headaches that come with it because they're there for you, so I'm happy with that.

I've already had problems with my credit card during the first part of 2017. My card was compromised four times which meant I had to throw away that card and cut it up. The first one was somebody made a purchase in Florida. Then, somebody purchased something in Denver. And the third time was somebody in Japan. All this time, I didn’t have to pay for it but every time they texted it, I had to change the card. So, that meant I have to go and call the people who I had the card on.
LifeLock came along and I put all the information in. I had a problem getting on the first couple of times but there was a typo on my end. I thought I was putting in the right information but the guy informed me that that was not what I put on. So we went over it again and they were very kind and courteous and we got it done. I'm pretty much okay with it and I like the way they explain the credit score. I went on a couple of days ago, checked out my credit score and wanted to know. I asked the person I was talking with to walk me through it. They have the three different branches and you see how all the different branches score you in different things which is very, very good.
So far, my card hasn’t been compromised. I was very, very happy because they informed me that I applied for a card from Macy's and they said if I did apply. I canceled my Macy's card because we had problems and if you purchase something right after New Year, you get almost $30 to $35 off on top of all of the discounts. I said, "Go ahead," and they did it. So I got my $35 discount and now, I'm waiting to see if they approved my card. Also, I would rather have an email if they need to inform me. I did have an email but I still get the calls. But it has been very good, so far, and I would highly recommend them.

Not sure exactly how long I have had LifeLock, and I encouraged my daughter to also join Lifelock. However LifeLock in my opinion does a very poor job in staying in-touch with their clients. The only time I hear from LifeLock is when they are getting ready to draft from my account their yearly fee. That my friend is very poor business ethics.

My parents had an identity theft crisis three times within three months, so my dad was getting on me to get protection. I'd heard about LifeLock on several different podcasts so I decided to sign up. My credit card comes with identity theft but LifeLock seems like the most coverage for a reasonable price. There's also the timeliness and the ease of using the website. Lastly, I wanted to get it because my assets have been increasing over the past few years. I told myself I'd try it and if I liked it, I'd stay with it.
The LifeLock team is very helpful and is emailing me constantly. I had my identity stolen in December, but they caught it fast. I put an alert on my credit for the next 90 days, but they helped me through the process. Valerie helped me with everything and she was a wonder. Any questions I had, she had an answer. I also love that they were dealing with the other credit people during my credit dispute. They're all great and it's been a relief. I recommend them to all my friends.

I signed up with LifeLock as a preventative measure for any hacking experience, but I was hacked shortly after signing up. Someone tried to use my cable company to purchase a phone and a program using my name. The LifeLock rep got on the phone with me and loaded me with info and then they got in touch with the company, and all three of us got it resolved the issue in about two minutes. It was impressive. The first rep that I was on the phone with was all nice, she was great. But then they sent me an email saying I needed to contact a certain department, and the guy that I got on the phone with when I called was an absolute imbecile. He told me that the permit didn't exist, I ended up writing a complaint and got a follow-up apology email. We're square now and I still value the company. In this day and age, people need added protection so I would urge others to sign up with them.
