I got hit and I already took care of one issue myself but there was some good information from LifeLock. They let me know of certain things and helped me solve another one of the issues. The gentleman that I talked to was very helpful and knowledgeable enough. But the other people know a little bit but it was like reading a script and it took a little while to get through the correct people. I have frozen all credit reports and I do not know what else to do but I keep getting hit anyway. I had to send a letter back in to verify that it was not me trying to open up a credit card. My credit has dropped 20 points because of this. My situation has been very stressful and it has been weighing on me for the last four months.
Despite that, I'd recommend LifeLock. It is good because it's like an insurance policy. Other credit bureau companies offer the same thing that LifeLock offers and they're $10 a month cheaper. They're also firsthand in knowing then LifeLock finds out after them. But I did not choose to go to the credit bureau because every time I called them, all I got were stupid recordings and I couldn't stand it. The recording would ask a question that was not really what I was trying to find out and it took forever to get to somebody to find out the answer that I was looking for. When something happens, you want to know something immediately. There's no time to waste because all it does is make the person’s stomach and everybody else feel terrible. I'd rather talk one on one with somebody instead of a recording. With LifeLock, at least you can communicate with somebody sooner and you feel like you're accomplishing something.

15 years ago, somebody had stolen my identity and bought a car. I took a long time to report it and it ended up being stuck on my account. It took all the way to 10 years for it to come off. Recently, somebody bought another car and used my name. I was able to report it and that was when I got LifeLock. The service is very good. I'm actually amazed. I had not had time to make phone calls so they reached out to me and called the places that involved fraud. They sat on the line with me and put me on three-way. They took care of everything, like the questions that the credit bureau or whoever I was talking to was asking. The lady who helped me out was very smart. She had the paperwork and the actual dates of when my identity was stolen. She was also taking down notes as we were talking. It was very impressive.

LifeLock’s marketing campaign with somebody driving around with their Social Security number written on the side of a truck was genius and I honestly thought they were the only game in town. One of my girlfriends told me that her identity was stolen. I called LifeLock and their price was reasonable so I signed up. I’ve had them for quite some time and interacting with their reps has always been very good. Recently, my identity was stolen and every single time now that there is any action related to that such as a random person opening a credit card in my name, I am alerted immediately. LifeLock has helped from destroying my credit because of my identity being stolen but I’m disappointed that they are connected with Experian. When Experian’s information was hacked, the LifeLock membership quadrupled. I thought that whole thing was an inside job and there was not a lot of integrity behind that.

A couple of customers where I work told me about LifeLock and I went with this identity theft protection company. I've had very good interactions with the LifeLock team. They either email or call me for notifications. They've always been very helpful when I called and I didn't feel like they were passing me around. When they said that they were gonna call me back, they did. The other day, my identity was stolen and Lifelock was able to call me. Someone had opened up one credit card in my name which slipped through. But on the second one, LifeLock prevented that person from doing so. I was very satisfied with what they did for me during my crisis.

We had an identity theft issue. Somebody got a hold of our information and tried to open some credit card accounts. My wife, who watches enough television had heard some LifeLock ads and called them to see if they could help us out. As we were getting letters from various credit card companies and so on, we would turn them over to LifeLock. They would do the research and circle around the whole thing. After a while, they contacted all the credit agencies and put stop on everything and it just finally subsided. It took a couple of weeks that we were getting phone calls and letters. The LifeLock folks responded well and followed through and helped us get everything squared away. They do what they say they’re gonna do. They’ve done their job well.

I’ve been a member of LifeLock for 13 years and back in the day, I started hearing about identity theft. It was terrifying to think that someone could steal my identity and have to deal with the issue. I remember years ago there being that commercial with the man who started the business, with his Social Security number all over the place. I thought that it was who I wanna work with and be with.
There was somebody who created a seller’s account on Amazon, and then Amazon sent me a text document saying that I sold $50,000 worth of items. It was challenging to start to open a case because nobody wanted to and getting someone to help me was frustrating. I finally called LifeLock late at night and begged the woman to help me. I asked her what I needed to do to open up a case and she told me. After that, it has been amazing. Someone called her a couple of weeks ago with the same issue and she told me that she was gonna help me in every way possible. She sent me email documents and her communication was outstanding. She was so passionate and I felt so relieved.
I had a cash form I had to submit and I didn’t fill it out right. She told me how to do it and she told me everything I needed. She never left my side. I would email her to ask if she could talk and she would get with it right away. She got the credit bureau on the phone and she did a seven-year thing where they said I would not get notices. She was amazing. I am grateful that I have LifeLock because I couldn’t have done it myself. It was the best experience I could ever have and I would tell my friends that they must join LifeLock. If ever they have identity theft, I’m gonna help them figure out how to open up a case. It’s so worth it to be a member.

LifeLock is the best in the business but with millions of consumers, they need to patch up and revisit their security software. Other than that, I’m too happy with them. They have this million-dollar plan and the people there are courteous. Then when this guy in another state had my social and ID, they were able to stop him within a day.

I’ve encountered a couple of little identity theft problems myself that didn’t go very far. Since I’ve reinstated LifeLock, they’ve notified me a couple of times. But because of my low credit rating, the people that had my information and applied for an auto loan were denied. The LifeLock team does a lot and they are very professional. I was very impressed with the way they handled themselves.

LifeLock has been really on top of things and they have responded pretty quickly when there was any suspicious activity. Their reps have been terrific. I’ve gotten so much peace of mind with LifeLock knowing that I have some back up in case someone uses my identity and that they would be able to help me out to get the problem straightened out.

I have been using and supporting Norton and Symantec products for over 20 years and have always trusted and found help to address scary situations. I thought I could trust Lifelock to support me if I had a problem since they are partnered with Symantec but apparently not. When I signed up I was looking for some risk avoidance in case of any issue that I could not anticipate.
However, now that I have a problem I was summarily dismissed by the "Restoration department" since my problem is not covered by the narrow definition of FRAUD that Lifelock uses to avoid helping people. I canceled my Lifelock Premium account to at least get back some money to defray my loss. However Help and Trust are two precepts lost on Lifelock, Money and Greed have replaced them.
LifeLock contacted the consumer on 08/09/2018 and discussed his concerns.

Knowing the way the world is today, I got identity theft protection as a precaution and the protection I've gotten from LifeLock is good. They've found a bunch of problems and they've helped. But I had an issue with the response I had on the phone. LifeLock canceled me a month after they received payment for the first time. So I called them back and they reinstated it. But when I got off the phone, they called me back and said the service had been canceled. They canceled and charged me three times. Finally, after about two months and 16 hours on the phone, I got it straightened out.
But I was a little disappointed because they couldn’t explain why they canceled me three times. They were always real nice about it but nobody there knew anything. Business today is not like it was 20 years ago. I was in business years ago and if something came up and somebody asked me a question, I wouldn't say, "I don't know." I would ask them to give me their number, get them an answer and call back. I didn’t feel that I was getting any of that from anybody at LifeLock. They kept transferring me from people to people.
When I asked them why they canceled me, they put me on hold. Then they came back and said that I had been canceled so they would sign me up again. They told me my first payment was gonna be $18 but I said I already paid for the whole thing. Then they put me on hold again. When they came back, they asked if I wanted do it yearly or monthly. I asked if I was speaking to the same person and the person said yes. They need to pay a little bit closer attention to what they’re doing. My needs weren’t met at first and it took some perseverance on my part. I almost came to the point of canceling because of the people that we were dealing with. It was totally confusing.
LifeLock contacted the member on 08/24/2018 and addressed his concerns.

Overall pleased with the service however, if you haven't already checked out the website, you need to be aware that there are three levels of protection and three different prices. Each level offers different services and not all are appropriate or necessary for everyone. They do not offer this information.

I had a family member use my social security number and make herself a credit card. I was getting frustrated because I didn’t know how to keep her from doing that. And then I saw a commercial for LifeLock and I got it. LifeLock helped me put my social security number and all my cards on lockdown. If anybody would use my name, my address, or my social security number, they would send me an alert, which has worked amazingly. They’re really nice and they helped me with anything I have problems with. They answer all my questions nicely and they don’t get frustrated if I have a lot of questions. And they get straight to the point.

My husband and I had an incident where somebody was trying to open an account and we felt fairly certain that our social security numbers had been compromised. There was another incident where someone was trying to change the password for our banks. So we decided to get identity theft protection. LifeLock has been great and very quick. Their reps were polite and efficient too.

I had my credit card hacked and after I got that straightened out, I contacted LifeLock for membership. Any time someone put a hit on my credit file or checking a savings account as opened or if I was applying for a loan somewhere, I would get a ding or notification from LifeLock to see if that was me doing that. I recently had an interaction three months ago with their team where someone was trying to apply for credit under my name and my social security number and so, they got it nipped in the bud. They were very helpful and explained everything that I needed to know and they gave me the links to the credit bureau to put a 90-day fraud alert on my account. They gave me some valuable tools to keep up with.

LifeLock has made everything very convenient. Everything that they do is something that’s accessible to me and I could have done it myself without having to reach out to them. Every week, there’s a new fraud alert and I try to do what I can to protect my family’s identity. LifeLock seemed to be the most reputable. I was a victim of identity fraud. Someone had opened up a line of credit and received goods, and it was the first that has ever happened to me. They were very knowledgeable and were able to answer some of the questions because I was not super familiar with going through the process. And they were very helpful with all the process to go through the exercise. They called the vendor and explained what was going on. They were also very informative. I like being alerted as opposed to just looking at my credit report through some of the other agencies that are out there. I already suggested them to my family and my friends and most of them have already signed up with them. They’re a good organization.

LifeLock seemed like a good deal when I saw one of their commercials on TV. I looked into it and eventually got it. When something came up here a while back, they sent me an email and a rep called me and asked me a couple of things. We talked about the issue and she did whatever it is that they do. Then, she called me back and told me that the issue looked like it must have been a clerical error because there wasn’t anything on my record that would show otherwise.

I’ve always had concerns because my credit has been tampered with before. People could get into my credit card and use the numbers, so I wanted to get protected. LifeLock has caught a lot of things and they worked with me before with the Credit Bureau. Somebody was trying to get a credit card a couple of months ago with my name on it, using my information and LifeLock stopped it. They’ve done a lot of great things and they monitor all the time my interactions with my credit. My credit has gone 400 points up with LifeLock.
Their customer service has been really incredible too. All the ladies that I spoke to there have always been very polite. I was on the phone for 30 minutes with the lady who signed me up just having a fun and light conversation. Right then I couldn’t afford LifeLock but they had deals with AAA that I was able to get great discounts, so I could continue to use LifeLock. I also like that I never get people from another country, everyone’s always here in the United States. So, they’re very easy to speak to, they’re able to identify with what I’m going through and able to communicate properly. I love LifeLock.

A friend recommended LifeLock to me. Shortly after I got LifeLock someone tried to get a credit with my social security number with AT&T. I became aware of it. But it was about the 10th time something had happened. They called me immediately. They contacted the three companies for me and as a result, I kind of credited them by getting the seven-year block on my credit because up until then, everybody had been dragging their feet. Even though I have a seven-year block, I just feel more comfortable with LifeLock. And with the most recent incident they were very prompt in contacting me and they were very helpful.
It might have been a coincidence, but immediately after my contract with LifeLock, I got the notification that I had a seven-year block on my credit without me being contacted first. And I haven’t heard from them in a couple of months. So I think everything is in place, but I have the number and I’m confident that if I need them or they find anything, they’ll call me. I had immediate results and they were positive and I’m very pleased and impressed with their efficiency.

When I started my new job, they offered LifeLock at a discounted rate to us, as a perk. I had my identity stolen last October, so I thought it was a great idea. I’ve enjoyed working with LifeLock. Their people are really very kind and patient. They’ve made the experience of having issues a lot less stressful. They’re really on top of stuff and give us notifications even if something doesn’t affect us and then when something has affected, they’ve been really quick to respond and help me. They also completely understand the situation. If they don’t have an answer, they’ll find it for me. They’re very good, knowledgeable and very professional. They’ve been really amazing.

I had my identity stolen - my credit card, and a few thousand dollars charged on it, so I wanted something to help and to have an extra layer of protection. LifeLock has been very helpful. They were very responsive and as soon as they gave me a notification and it was not something in the credit card that I put an application on, they immediately responded to me and we put a stop to it. They called me up, they got the other party on the phone where the credit was trying to be obtained from, and it got immediately taken care of so I’ve been very happy with them. This was the first time I’ve had my identity stolen in such a major way with multiple credit cards attempted, most of them online. And it’s been a lot easier than I thought it would be working with them to get things resolved so I honestly would recommend LifeLock to anyone.

I liked what I saw from LifeLock as well as their package so I got them as my identity theft provider. Then, I had a situation where someone stole my identity and tried to get through PayPal but it didn’t work. The guy then set up a PayPal account in my name and charged a bunch of money against it. The same day it happened, I was driving up to Canada and LifeLock called me and got the PayPal folks on the line and shut the account down. I also went to my credit card companies and the company involved with PayPal as soon as I got to a place where I can get on the telephone. LifeLock had to file paperwork but they did a nice job.
I found out that the crook was trying to purchase tickets to a professional basketball game where he was gonna sell them. And for some reason, I called the telephone that the folks that stole the cards called me and told me that it was a suspicious looking purchase. So, I called them back and I told them that it was definitely a fraud. It looked like it might have been an inside job. LifeLock and I did everything we could to stop it and I even gave the sheriff and the rest of them the phone number and the lady that I talked to at the ticket sales place. I wish that they could just go over there and stray them out. I was pleased with the way they handled the situation I got into. LifeLock takes good care of me and their team has very professional service. I never looked back and will never go anywhere else.

Amazingly enough, within a month after I subscribed to LifeLock, someone opened a couple of credit card accounts in my name. And LifeLock took care of it. It was very good timing and I’m very satisfied with the service I got from them. The LifeLock rep called the card company and stayed on the line while I talked to them. It was a three-way call and that was very helpful. I’m extremely happy that I signed up with LifeLock and I intend to continue my membership.

I’ve been having some problems for five or six months and so my daughter researched identity theft protection providers. She liked LifeLock the best as well as their whole package. So she said that LifeLock is the way to go and she helped me set it up. The part that I liked the best is it’s easy to talk to a person. I don’t have to go through push 1, push 9, push 12, push 15. I get right to a person and they’ve been very professional, courteous, and great to work with.
Six months ago, somebody got a hold of my credit. LifeLock got right there and called the people, eyes on the line, and we’ve got it all resolved. Then I also got merchandise that I hadn’t bought sent to me. LifeLock told me to send back the merchandise back and I remembered the guy said, “Well, you gotta send him a prepaid box or something. He shouldn’t pay for any of this.” There was a pause and they went, “Yeah, you’re right.” So, LifeLock helped me and really looked out after my needs. I would recommend them to anybody.

When I talked to LifeLock, they seemed to offer what we needed because at that time, we were working out of town and traveling. It was hard to keep up with everything and it protected our credit cards, our accounts and stuff that we needed to use. Every time anything showed up that wasn't supposed to or didn't match up or if they were concerned that it wasn't a typical shopping for me or use of my debit card or accounts, they contacted me. They have always resolved it and stopped it from going through on my credit so, I can't complain.
The reps have always been courteous and they have always helped me. At the time that LifeLock came out, we went with the one that was offered and we haven't increased it because we don't travel anymore. We're retired and it still does what it needs to do for us. Overall, the experience was excellent and I told my children and everybody that they need to get it. They need to protect themselves and they need to go with LifeLock.

I was a victim of identity theft and needed help trying to get everything taken care of, and consolidating and making sure that no one tried to use my information. People have tried but have not succeeded and that’s when I contacted LifeLock. They came in mind as their commercial really stuck in my mind. LifeLock has been wonderful. There have been times when I’ve been really frustrated, seeing that people are trying to get into my things, and they’ve managed to control and inform me every time someone’s tried to access my information to obtain credit cards. They call me right away, stay on the line, contact the people who have pulled my credit information, and ask to have everything removed from my profile. They’ve been wonderful. Their team is very patient, understanding, and professional. They give me peace of mind. If you’re going through a situation like mine, they’re the best people to call.

I tried several other identity theft protection companies and I was not happy with them. I saw LifeLock in a commercial on television and I’ve been with them for almost a year now. So far, I’m liking the service. For one, if you have a lot of inquiries and you don’t respond to the text messages nor take a look, they would call you. When you have a problem, LifeLock works with you really well to get it taken care of. I had an issue with identity theft and they worked with me hand in hand to get it resolved. My credit card wasn’t physically stolen but my number somehow got out and it was being used in Europe. They discovered it even before the bank did and got a new card sent out to me. LifeLock and the bank worked with me to make sure that all the things and charges were taken care of. I'm really satisfied with the service and I would recommend them to others.

I had a fraud situation where someone claimed I bought something and I didn't buy it. When I called LifeLock, they sounded like they were a legit company. I'd been hearing about them for a long time on TV and when my son had issues, he told me about how they helped him. And so LifeLock took care of the fraud situation for me. It was the first one I've ever had to deal with and I appreciate their help very much. When their people tell you they're gonna take care of something, they go after it to see if there's anything they can do to help and they let you know upfront. I respect a company like that and so I would always recommend them.

My identity was stolen more than twice and when I saw what LifeLock had and liked what they were promoting, I went with them. When they caught someone trying to use my identity thrice, they helped me easily and it's really painless. Also, their team is easygoing. They explained things to me and they were very helpful. They did most of the work and if anything, I will just have to talk to a credit card company that someone was trying to get under my name. I tell everyone to get LifeLock.

I'm very much a fan of LifeLock. I've been a victim of identity theft and fraud in the past, so I got their identity theft protection. They come with my AOL service and they're a one-stop shop. Whenever there is a problem, I can contact LifeLock and they can take it from there. The last time I used them was in June when someone opened accounts at Bank of America in my name. I contacted them and they advised me to have the credit agencies put a watch on my account. They've also been monitoring the accounts to see if there has been anything else happening on an ongoing basis. Also, the representatives are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable so I've been very happy.

When someone tried to buy a bunch of cars under my name, I knew I was compromised and called three different identity theft protection providers. They were all about the same price but LifeLock seemed to be the most well-known. When I've had to use them one time, they helped me dispute a cellphone that was trying to be bought by someone in my name. LifeLock's team was straightforward and professional. They sent me paperwork that I filled out and sent back after, then they told me exactly what to do and it is pretty much exactly what I expected for something that I'm paying for. I'm satisfied with my experience with LifeLock and I have no plans of getting rid of it.

LifeLock advertised on Rush Limbaugh’s clock radio and they had the best advertising ideas. But I was a little disappointed in the follow-up with their team. They detected some problems on using my identity and they notified me. I said it wasn't my activity and I've never heard much back. And then after an online survey, they let me know what happened.
They told me somebody had tried to obtain a credit in my name through a company but not exactly who it was or what it was like. I should get a little more information on what exactly the whole problem was. Apparently, LifeLock took care of it. I just didn't get the follow-up I would have expected for the price I paid for their service. They're kind of expensive and I can probably accomplish the same thing with doing credit freezing and I may do that in the future just because they're not the least expensive one. Also, the probability of needing their service is pretty low. But it made me happy that they responded.

My Social Security Number was used to take out two payday loans. They took out one and then tried to get a different one but couldn’t on the second one. I went with LifeLock as they're the most recognized name. Their representative handled contacting the two companies and making sure that they knew it was fraudulent, and stopping them from trying to collect money on the one. The other one was listed as fraud too, and they helped me with getting it off my credit report because the inquiry showed there. LifeLock has a friendly and very professional team. They were good at not making me feel stressed out about the situation and they're worth the money.

You hear all these horror stories and it seems like people had to go through so much with their identity being stolen. LifeLock has been prompt in taking care of things. Every time something goes on with my credit, I know about it immediately. I was out of town one time and was having problems with my card and didn’t know why. I went to get some gas and my card had shut off. I looked at one of the emails from LifeLock and it showed that they attempted to call me and let me know that there was something crazy going on with my card. I can be all shook up about it but LifeLock always reassures me right then that everything is gonna be taken care of and that I don’t have any second thoughts about anything.

The LifeLock team is very efficient and my interactions with them have been fine. LifeLock has stopped two things. Somebody tried to open up a credit card on me about two weeks ago and LifeLock called me and warned me. I called them back and they got a hold of the credit card company. We talked to them and it stopped. I also redid a Belks card a while back and just as soon as I signed the papers and sent it in at the store, I got an alert from LifeLock that somebody was trying to open a Belks card for me. They were on it very quickly and I hadn't even finished what I was buying.

Last year back in July, there was a breach in Equifax. I went onto their website and I saw that my name was one of the people that were leaked out so I proactively signed up with LifeLock just in case. Since then, they have been actively doing stuff versus just monitoring and alerting me. Furthermore, they helped me close a bunch of credit cards that were opened falsely using my information. Their texts and the app were really helpful and I don’t have to do too much work. They called me to reach out and help me work with all the credit card companies which I would not even know how to do by myself. Their team was friendly and they tried to make the process as easy as possible 'cause they knew it was really frustrating on my part. Overall, LifeLock is doing an awesome job.

My wife told me to get LifeLock as a precaution and the company has been very effective. We've had a couple of situations within the last 60 days when someone tried to do an identity theft, and it appeared that we were moving to a new home. I was advised by USAA that someone had penetrated my account and had tried to open a credit card with them in my name. At the same time I learned my primary email account had been hacked and I could not send nor receive and my password had been changed. I called Lifelock to advise them and the rep asked for my social security number, which I NEVER give out over an unsecure line. I had established a phone call only password which I assumed would be used to access my account via phone. When I told the agent this, she asked for the password, and then put me on hold. THIRTY minutes later I hung up to pursue the email and false cc problems. I did write to Lifelock customer support and was told that they do not tolerate such performance, but I remain underwhelmed by them.

LifeLock is the only identity theft protection provider I know. I want to protect my credit which I worked hard to rebuild and I want to insure that I can stay alert to any type of fraud. With LifeLock, I've learned that there are people who have actually tried to open up accounts in my name. I went in to my back office and set up what types of alerts I want to get. I actually have to use them and they're very good at following up with a email, a call or a text.
Their team is very professional, informative, and show concern. They're there to actually help and they will use other resources to try to assist if they can't help. Also, if they were not able to retrieve any information, they told me how to go about the process to get it myself. They offer other protection that I can possibly look into, such as contacting credit bureaus and implementing more protection where there's concern. So, it's been an awesome and fantastic experience. I've also told about LifeLock to my dad so he is looking into it too.

LifeLock is set up through United Federal Credit Union and they take out whatever cost every month for me and my wife. Every time we have problems, LifeLock is the first one to let us know via phone call or email. Two years ago, my wife had a fraud where they got her Social Security number and they tried to open up bank accounts. There was another incident last fall where someone got her identity. They also got mine in February and that's still ongoing. And during these issues, LifeLock has been very good. They take care of us and I would recommend them to anybody.

Blue Cross Blue Shield was hacked and LifeLock was recommended to me. Also, my IRS fraudulently collected my refunds a couple of years ago, so I had an experience where I needed to get identity theft protection. I speak with the LifeLock team every week and they're very nice, although it gets lost sometimes on who's doing what or what department is handling what. I can't even get into my account right now and I have an insurance claim case that I have no idea what's going on. LifeLock is not as advertised as I've had to do a lot of work.

I was right in the middle of having to deal with having my identity stolen and working with an attorney for a while, and it continues to happen. I was hoping that there's a better way to try to stop these crazy people who have my information. I talked to LifeLock and set up my account with them. However, LifeLock was not working as quite as well as I thought because I had a couple of other experiences and other places that I've also got information. They usually let me know before LifeLock. I was a little disappointed on that part that LifeLock wasn't staying on top of the issues that I thought was important to me anyway.
They notify me when I make my monthly mortgage payments, which is a big deal. I know I made that and that's not the issue but it's the people trying to establish a credit card under my name is the one I'm worried about. Another problem is, LifeLock would send a text that just says, "Did you make this financial transaction?" It doesn't tell you what it is so then you have to go to the app or online and figure out what they're talking about to find out whether, yes I did that or no I didn't.
Even so, a couple of the reps were very nice. I spoke to a gentleman and he was very helpful. However, the other day, I got notified by Experian that someone was trying to get a Chase credit card under my name. I finally called LifeLock after I talked to Chase, and took care of it myself. I told them that it wasn't me. It was the fifth time this has happened and the lady I got was not helpful at all. She asked what do I want them to do and I told her I want them to be monitoring my account. Then she told me that I had to call a different number and talk to somebody else.
This is the first year I've had LifeLock and I'm gonna have to see whether or not I'm gonna renew it or not because it's rather expensive. It's almost $300 a year and I can be using that for something else, if I have to do most of it myself. I realized they're supposed to have millions of people who they are dealing with but every one of us is dealing with the same sort of issues at least, with these crazy people out there, getting credit cards and using our information.
Other people said it's scary and you don't know what to do. I said you pull all the money out of every bank so that nobody can get access and keep it in your mattress and do everything by cash. Because before, I've had someone comes in the house and do some repair works. I used my credit card then the next day, I got a call from the credit card company saying somebody tried to use it six times in a row. The only place I'd use it was with the repair people. It's kinda scary how they get this information so fast.

Part of my experience with LifeLock was very bad and part of it was okay. The people who called me today to make sure I received the papers and see if I needed additional time to fill it out were nice to me. However, my experiences prior to getting the restoration or whenever I spoke to them and they sent those papers out was hard. I had problems last week and the week before last in trying to get things handled that I thought was handled a long time ago.
I put in a request about five years ago about Verizon. LifeLock was trying to say that I never filed a claim. They said that they see I had one on Sprint. However, Sprint and Verizon were on the same police report. Now, they're asking me to fill out forms which are 13 pages. It's hustling, disappointing, and a brutal experiment. When I told them about my problem, the guy I was talking with did not speak English that well. Instead of him taking care of the problem that I was calling about, he was trying to get me set up on the web. I ended up hanging up and not being able to get my problem taken care of. I did get on the web later that night though after making several, two to three hours apart, attempts. I kept having to call and talk to people until, finally, they decided to get Verizon.
The gentleman who was speaking with Verizon took down the information Verizon was persisting that I take down. However, he was rude to me and told me that I got to fill out those papers that Verizon wouldn't fill out. He also gave me information on the papers that they were gonna send me. I did get the information and I also have the papers but I have not had time to fill them out. I was very stressed, upset and feeling very anxious about all the things that I have to do like having something notarized and sending my identification. It was just overwhelming for me to even get started on all those papers. Plus, I'm sick. My husband is also ill and everything is on me to have a business justified.
I thought that LifeLock had my back when somebody was trying to file on me and get service in my name without my knowing. They were the first to receive my papers and dealt with Verizon on my behalf all those years ago. And now, they're trying to say they didn’t get the forms that I sent in the first place. I had to go and get another report. They said that I had to re-file my files to the old report. I felt that LifeLock failed me.

LifeLock is the only theft protection provider I know and I recommend it to my friends and family. Most of their agents are good and I like that they do their job. There were too many credits under my name and when I reported that to any company, they kept telling me that it was my information so I had to pay the amount. Now when we call, LifeLock is really helpful. Plus, even though they are not 100% monitoring based on their policy, I have peace of mind knowing that someone can manage my information. I'm glad I found them.

In 2010, my daughter got arrested for fraud that she didn't do. After two jail services and the lawyer spending all that money, we had a hard time and she's been out before we got her free. Then she said, "Mom, maybe we need to go with LifeLock?" We got LifeLock and it has helped me tremendously. Their team has been awesome and has real concern. I've also been dealing with identity theft lately and I wouldn't have known it if LifeLock hadn't picked it up. There were about 12 accounts taken out on me from different banks online at night, and they knew it didn't look right. They called me, said that there was stuff going on, and asked me if I took out those accounts. They've been with me 100% and they walked me through taking care of it. I had to go to banks and show my identity, and they talked with the bank. I recommend LifeLock to anybody. I'm a pastor and I'm in over 10 churches and I've been telling everybody to get LifeLock.

My billfold was stolen while I was on vacation out of town and my Social Security and driver's license were in there. The people who used my card were very active and they started using it right away. So I decided the minute I got home, I needed something. I had heard about LifeLock from my brother who has used it as well and so I just called. LifeLock has been very alert. They kept an eye on the card. I notified LifeLock and I was quite comfortable after I turned it over. I liked what they've done for me. Also, everyone I talked to was very good, very eager to help and very professional. I work for an insurance company and they provided me with LifeLock. At first I didn't pay a lot of attention to it and then somebody broke into my house and stole the safe. I was just getting ready to call all of the financial bureaus the next day when the phone rang. I answered and it was LifeLock. They had contacted me because somebody tried to steal my identity so I had a very good experience. They said two banks in Maryland, our line of credit had tried to open a line of credit So they immediately shut down the three credit bureaus for me.
And then the next day they called me and had the lending institution on the line and said, “We can't speak for you, but can you hold on? We have them ready.” And I had to talk to fraud department so they would clear my account and they wouldn't try to give me a line of the credit. They took the steps for me and just had me up on the phone. They talked to me because I was inexperienced and told me what we needed to do. I've talked to a lot of people at the office about having this little burglary situation and they said they would sign up for LifeLock too. A little news clip was made about it and reinforced the good service that LifeLock provides. LifeLock is well worth the money because I'm getting ready to retire in a couple of years and I don’t need any financial troubles to unwind.

When I heard about the credit company that knew that customer information was compromised and did nothing about it, I decided that I should get LifeLock. I had gotten it through Norton Security and I did not have to pay, so I said yes. I had to send in 15 pages of papers with police reports, copies of my license and copies of social security. I had to go through all of that to let LifeLock know who I am. Other people can just go one, two, three and steal my identity. They don't have to go through all of this. I understand it, but it's time-consuming and nerve-racking. Every other day, I get something in the mail or email about my account and that somebody is trying to open up something in my name or trying to add their name to my credit card. Unfortunately, I'm sure this is how identity theft works.
This is my first experience and I never knew that others could try to do so much with my information. I'm just at wit's end and I'm relying a lot on LifeLock. They have a lot more work to do, but I trust them. I think they'll do the right thing and do what they can. I'm just waiting for them to do what they have to do and contact me again with what they've done and what else I need to do. So far, I'm pleased with LifeLock and I would recommend them.

I paid $25 a month for myself and $25 a month for my husband for the ultimate package to get our credit score and credit report anytime. I began complaining 6 months ago without results. I got identity theft protection to make sure I'm covered. However, my identity has been stolen twice since I've gotten LifeLock. They helped me the first time and handled the situation right away. But the second time, I'm still in the process of handling it. There have been some difficulties on my side getting them the information so it has taken a bit of time.
Also, I've dealt with their restoration team and their level of knowledge and professionalism is good. I was under a different impression with LifeLock as far as the promptness of getting notified if something was going on fishy with my credit. But the way that they are able to stay in touch with my credit or anything going on with my information is based on how quick whoever is in applying for it through a certain entity. If it's Wells Fargo, for example, the promptness of the notification is based on how quickly they post it to Wells Fargo and then once Wells Fargo uploads it, that's when LifeLock can see it. Still, I wish it was faster because I would have been able to catch the ** that took my stuff last time. Also, I wish it was easier to get a hold of the restoration department but that depends on the work day and how busy they are.

I've been hearing about LifeLock for years primarily on talk radio. I had plans with Equifax and Experian at one point just doing monitoring, but what I never found from them was any level of attention to detail. When AT&T had locked my account because they said there might have been some malware on my phone, I thought that was weird and I should do something that would give me a little bit more protection.
After I joined Lifelock, they caught one scenario where somebody had set up a cell phone account in my name. They were able to take care of something that I would have never had the time to do and the service was exceptional. The way they notified me and alerted me was prompt and convenient as I got messages through email and the app. It was quick. The resolution was also faster than I have expected. LifeLock's team was exceptional across the board too. Everybody I have worked with was professional, articulate, prompt, and courteous.

LifeLock is a nice third party and it isn’t tied to a credit card or a bank. My experience with them has been fine. They’ve alerted me on different things that have been erroneous and have kept me aware of things that are fraudulent. The reps have been good and I've had some stuff here and there that they’ve helped me with. I'd recommend LifeLock.

When I was living in Kansas City, I was all the time having problems with my credit card information getting stolen. So, I got LifeLock and I only had one thing happen since, but they took care of it. I had almost $800 stolen out of my savings and loan account in the place where I work. The Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad Credit Union allowed somebody without authorization to take $77 a month out for a year and a half before we realized it. We never approved it.
The credit union hired a lawyer to try not to make good on it. But the LifeLock lawyers convinced the credit union's lawyers that they had no basis for denying or giving us the money back. Then the LifeLock lawyers won and I got my money back. They did a wonderful job. They are also very knowledgeable and they return phone calls and answer emails. They speak in English and I'm very happy with their service. I mainly like LifeLock's reputation and it's impressive that the owner has a million dollar guarantee that he uses himself.

LifeLock makes everything easy for me and their customer service is excellent. In addition, they have online and app access. The online version’s a little better than the app though, and once I get past the online, I get a physical phone call and have somebody solve the problems for me. Nowadays, companies don’t want customers to talk to anybody. They want customers to do it by chat or email. So they get to sit there locked on to a computer. Still, LifeLock was user-friendly. They have helped us so far when our identity was stolen through tax returns twice. That's when we originally took on their highest level of service. Thereafter, my identity was stolen again and Lifelock got me on the phone. It was about as painless as they could do dealing with the actual place that my identity got stolen from.

At first, I wasn't really that happy with LifeLock's service. I call them and I'm on hold for 30 minutes. But since my identity was stolen, they have slowed down now. When it first happened, it was about 15 different accounts being opened in my name. In these situations, I get an alert on my phone and then I get a message and LifeLock calls me. It's a recorded message saying that there's been a breach of my social security number and to contact LifeLock.
I call them and they ask you a couple of questions, like for instance, a Sears card. They would ask you if you opened it and if you know anything about it. If you don't, a representative will call you within three or four business days. The last time one of them called me, she was very thorough. She stayed on the line with me, she got all the other parties on the line, and she got the trade commission on the line as well. As far as when you're actually talking to a person that does the actual helping to restore whatever, they've been pretty good.
However, I would've liked it better if the lapse between getting the, "Hey, someone's trying to open an account in your name," and actually talking to a real person would have been a shorter span because for four or five days you're like, "Oh, my God. They've opened this account." There was one here in my town where my account was opened. I was trying to get a hold of the manager and the I.D. stuff people with them. It felt like I was doing a lot of leg work myself. But as they caught up to it, they did fine.

We had gotten LifeLock as a benefit that we can contribute to at work. They were the only option and we get a discount so it looked like something that was worth giving a shot. In the beginning, I was turned off and was going to cancel the service. I had at least three interactions that were not positive, but LifeLock ended up being a very positive thing. On two different occasions, someone promised me that I'll get a callback before the end of the business day, but I didn't, which was a big turnoff.
Another time, there was an occasion when they said that I definitely did not need to have something notarized so I submitted everything. Sure enough, I got an email and a phone call saying I didn’t send it notarized. There was miscommunication so I was concerned moving forward. However, once I was assigned to a specific individual, she was wonderful and very easy to reach and communicate with. If I emailed her, I heard right back. Once, there was an incident with someone who used my identity and LifeLock was able to talk me through the process. We were able to get that straightened out, which was good. All in all, LifeLock helps make life easier and they have ways of taking care of issues that would involve a lot more time on my own.

My experience with LifeLock has been great. I'm in Northeast Ohio near Cleveland and someone went into a Sprint store in Alabama and walked out with five phones worth $4,910 with him. And then they were tracking me down. But finally, I got LifeLock, and they took care of it in one day. My interaction with their reps has been good too.

I knew LifeLock years ago and then I was out to dinner with a good friend of mine who told me how LifeLock saved him. Someone had taken his identity, but luckily he had LifeLock. So, I went out and I got it the following week. Everything has been great, but the one person that stands out above and beyond is Pedro in the restoration team. The guy is fantastic. LifeLock was able to put me in touch or stop the identity theft themselves each time. I've been very happy with them and I tell people all the time that I could have been in a heap of trouble without them.

I decided to go with LifeLock when I started getting a lot of inquiries on my report and I kept finding them through credit bureaus. LifeLock has resolved red flags several times already and everything has been great. When someone has my information, they usually consider it as fraudulent and I'm like, "Yeah. 'Cause I didn’t authorize it." They would call me up and whoever's had an inquiry on my name and go from here. Everybody at LifeLock has been helpful and the representatives had even given me their names so I could call back with the case number and it would be redirected right back to them. My experiences have been positive and I would tell others to try it out.

There were two incidents involving Direct Energy and TXU, and someone has gotten a hold of my name including my social security number and opened one account here in Houston, and another one in Dallas. It was really interesting. They came at two different times and I heard about it through the collection letters sent to me. The lady from LifeLock got the information, told me what to do, and took care of them both times.
The LifeLock team is good, but I hope their response time can be a little bit quicker. It takes them a day or two to respond but they are probably really busy doing a lot of stuff for people. It was a Friday when I got the first letter and the lady didn't get back to me until Tuesday. Other than that, I am perfectly happy with LifeLock. I've told a couple of people what happened to me and told them they need to get it as well.

I had LifeLock for a month in April 2018, I got rid of LifeLock because of a few reps who were incompetent and told me false stuff. In May I got an email begging me to come back and offered another free month and a $25 gift card. After setting up again, they couldn't get my credit score the second time. I escalated a ticket and got lied to and run around. Days later I got another ticket to supposedly fix it. Still cant fix it. I wasted over 17 hours on the phone with them, keep in mind I have all their calls recorded because they lie way to much. They basically bait and switched me to come back and wasted my first month while nothing worked. '
One rep gave me a second month because of the issue. No reps return calls, they all promise you one thing and when you call to follow up the reps act like it never existed. The reps have accused me of lying and not getting a free promo and had to show the idiots the email to prove they're wrong. They are rude and each call is roughly an hour of my time to get nowhere.
I have a promo that ends: 07/24/2018. Upon cancellation they now trying to renege and cancel me on 06/23/0218 which is fraud, a scam and breach of contract. Again I have calls recorded, screenshots of emails. When I canceled the rep was rude and laughing at me saying, "You must be broke if you cant afford to pay another month." Wrong. I can pay but you frauded me in my trial. I'm in the process of contacting the media, FTC, And attorney general because they have such abusive sales tactics and lies and that $100,000,000 fine didnt teach them a lesson.
*Update* They offered 2 years free LifeLock settlement in exchange to remove all my complaints and avoid legal action. Once I pulled my complaints, within a week they changed my plan to a lower plan even though I have emails, mail, recorded phone calls and evidence proving every single piece of this complaint.I have phone logs showing 17 hours wasted. When I called they put me on hold for 38 minutes then hung up.

LifeLock's identity theft protection service was offered through my employer. In the seven months that I've used the service, my experience with them has been great and it has provided me with support and direction, given me avenues, and facilitated understanding and some aspects, such as credit reports. But the biggest thing is that it has given me a sense of calmness in times of potential identity theft or issues of fraud.
Dealing with their team has been fantastic and Mary Ann, the rep that I've been working with, has been tremendous and she has done a great job. The best thing with the reps was that when I needed to reach out to somebody else, they stayed on the phone with me and they didn't just connect me with that other person and leave. They helped guide me with the things that I didn't know a lot about and I could complete whatever I needed to complete. They also guided the other organization or company to some level of satisfactory resolution.

Signing up with LifeLock was a good decision and a good choice. I was not aware of my identity being stolen and it had been turned over to the police. I received a notification on the weekend and then I contacted LifeLock. They were very immediate in helping me, in terms of putting me straight through to everybody. The person I spoke with immediately got Verizon on the phone so I didn’t have to hold. They also put me through to somebody that froze my credit for seven years. It saved me a lot of time and from a lot of stress in having to reach out to certain people on my own. They were also very polite and helpful. LifeLock was able to help me with the situation and I'm glad I had them. Unfortunately, it happens to many people so I would definitely recommend.

I've been a LifeLock member for many years now and I've had nothing but good experiences with them. They've caught everything. When I signed up for a charge card, I got a message right away that I could say it was okay. There has been so much breaches that I see in the news or I get emails about different breaches. So it gives me good peace of mind knowing that when that happens to me, LifeLock is going to call me, and they always do. That's the first point that really helps because then at least I know and I can do something about it.
Recently, somebody had gotten my information and used my identity to purchase a phone and then set up an account in my name. Those were two different times, and LifeLock caught it both times. LifeLock worked with me. They called and ask me questions, and then they said that they would investigate and work with Verizon. I haven't dealt with this kind of situation before, so LifeLock was guiding me through what happened. They set up a phone call with me and Verizon, and they knew what to ask for from Verizon to make sure the incident is off my record. So they were definitely very helpful in coordinating the calls necessary to get the issue taken care of.
I have recommended LifeLock to many people. When I hear about another security breach, I usually remind people that they really should get LifeLock because they'll know and then they'll have that peace of mind that no one's gonna steal their identity. You'd hate to have to go through what people go through by having to deal with one simple Verizon call. It took time out and it was a hassle, but I'm very grateful that LifeLock caught it. I've also referred my parents to LifeLock and they signed up, and they're grateful as well. Now, every time I hear about a breach, I always have this good feeling that I've got somebody taking care of me.

I got LifeLock's service as a precaution and the majority of my interactions with the reps are very good. LifeLock helps us monitor credit reviews. Any activity against any one of the three agencies is pinged through LifeLock, and we're contacted immediately. That's the biggest benefit for us. Also, we can have a credit freeze against all three agencies.

I was notified about someone opening up accounts in my name and this company recommended me to contact LifeLock. And I've had wonderful interactions with the LifeLock team. They're very good and they helped me tremendously. They notified me of another account, that I wouldn't have known about, that was opened in my name as well. We don't have a lot of money and we didn't wanna lose them. We got LifeLock and my experience with them has been real good. They've already picked up three or four things. Just recently, somebody tried to sign up for a credit card with our name and LifeLock got a hold of the bank and straightened it up. The only thing they could make better is for somebody to answer the phone instead of talking to the computer. I'm an old guy and I don't understand Spanish. I'm also not very computer-savvy and when I call, I don't like to play all these number games of pressing 1 for this and 2 for that before I eventually get to talk to somebody. Still, my interactions with the reps have been great. I have trouble understanding some of them but they're not as bad as most of them. Other than that, I'm gonna keep LifeLock and that's for sure.

I really like LifeLock. I've been blind for a few years and I depend on LifeLock. However, it's a little hard for me to navigate around the website, but that's because I use voice activation and all kinds of technology that they set up for. Other than that, they seem to be doing their job. I hear that some stuff is running rampant out there in today's society and because of my handicap and my blindness that I feel LifeLock has my back. I can't see everything that goes down, so I pay for a peace of mind.
I've had interactions with their team and they've always been good. However, a couple of people haven't been as knowledgeable as other people to help me navigate around because I call them on my home line and that way, they'll be able to hear what my cell phone is saying to me. Some of them are better at it than others, but that's to be expected.

When I got a notice from Equifax that I was part of the millions of people whose data was compromised, I looked into different identity theft protection providers. LifeLock had name recognition with me from advertisements and when I signed up with them, my information went through and they identified different places where my password and data went. They have been a big help in the last six months, such as when some people hacked my Netflix account and when somebody hacked my Spotify account, so I changed a lot of passwords.
Then a couple of people tried to open credit cards in my name and I got notices from LifeLock right away. I told the credit card companies that it wasn't me who did that and that they shouldn't uphold those transactions on my credit report. Then LifeLock gave me some suggestions, like putting a 90-day lock on my credit report. It would be nice if they had a family discount for putting other family members on the service too. Right now, I’d only sign my wife up with them if her information was exposed. But so far, I've been extremely happy with the service and their team was fantastic.

I'm very disappointed in the LifeLock service. I'd been a loyal customer for years, but when I finally needed their support, they let me down. All I got was a bunch of excuses about their lack of comprehensive coverage for credit card fraud. What are you paying for then? When I initially called to report a problem in early June, the person I talked to could barely speak English, but I did get the same excuses from her. I didn't even get the courtesy of a phone call when I gave notice of my cancellation.

I've been a LifeLock member for over five years and my interactions with their team have been pretty pleasant. I was a victim of identity theft and LifeLock referred me to a company. The company disputed all of the erroneous claims on my credit report. And from a 380, now I am over 7. However, there was something that slipped by LifeLock. It was in May when my identity was used in order to open up a Chase account and purchases were made on that and my credit card number was also used to make some purchases. Luckily I caught it within a day of the initial transaction so I was able to get everything resolved and I didn’t incur any fees. So I placed a seven-year credit lock on my account with the bureau and I should be covered now. I'm a satisfied customer of LifeLock.

Automated call stated credit breach and to call back. Called back and Associate was clueless about breach. Client portal unavailable and access to account denied. Associate stated we the customer had a problem. Told we had to speak to supervisor. 40 minutes on hold and then hung up on by Lifelock without speaking a word waiting for supervisor. Called back and denied access to Associate and Supervisor. Had to use another company concerning breach. We wasted almost $720 with Lifelock. Do not recommend this company.

I subscribed for the LifeLock advantage (middle plan). I thought I would at least be notified if credit was taken out in my name. I opened a 5 year no-interest account and in addition took out a home equity loan... Nothing from this company. Not a word. So if this wasn't me - after that they would spend their resources to find who did it? I say that's too little too late. To add insult to injury - I get a prorated refund? This company messed up and should have refunded my entire fee.
Their only response was that they don't notify a customer on all credit alerts. I had a cheap no name company for years who alerted me the minute a credit application was signed. The only reason I left was because it was hard to get a human on the line. Lifelock Customer service is like trained robots. They read you what they don't do. Not so sure how good they would be if something happened! Don't believe all their hype. There are companies out there for less money that are better. I should have burned my $200+ dollars rather than pay them!!!

Twice now in several months, someone has opened a Lifelock Account in my name. I know because the notifications are sent to my email address. Not only did I NOT open an account, but no one opened an account with my authorization or on my behalf. Moreover, I have a fraud alert that I have placed on all 3 credit reports to make sure that no one links to my credit without calling me first. My Yahoo account was one of the accounts that was hacked, and my information was stolen. And yet Lifelock, a purported "Identity Theft Protection" service, keeps helping an identity thief by opening accounts in my name!!! Presumably, the identity thief is trying to get established with a basic account so they can switch to the preferred account and gain access to my credit report for updated information... the same report that I have locked under Fraud Alerts with Experian, Transunion, and Equifax!
Needless to say, I am FURIOUS. Once was bad enough. But twice??? And I have yet to receive confirmation that Lifelock has closed this second account and contacted the bank that issued the credit card used to notify them that a stolen identity was used to open that account. I am ready to run this story with the press... and to start a lawsuit. If more people than just myself have gone through this, I will file a Class Action Lawsuit. On top of all that, I had to call Lifelock on 2 occasions on this matter -- having been cut off once and then made to wait on hold for 20 minutes to talk to a supervisor. This is absurd.

My identity was stolen and one of the neighbors said, “Why don’t you try LifeLock?” And I had never heard of them so, I looked it up and I’ve had LifeLock and they've caught several people since. My bank has IDnotify but I kept LifeLock because I’ve had such a good experience with them. If it wasn’t for them notifying me by email or text, I would have no idea my identity was stolen. And their team is wonderful. I thanked somebody several times for dealing with a slow old woman. I wouldn’t get rid of them ever.

My husband had LifeLock from work and he told me about it. He said that it was a good idea and I signed up with them. Just recently, I had identity theft. The process was long but I had a wonderful interaction with LifeLock's team and they were all very nice and attentive and helpful. I was on the phone with them for 45 minutes at a time while they call each bank and store. I was glad I signed up with LifeLock and I'd be screwed up if it wasn’t for them. LifeLock does a very good job. It was the only one I knew about and it was for my mom ‘cause she’s older and some people were messing with our credit. I like LifeLock's customer service and it was easy to enroll with them. Anytime that we have a problem, they send me an email and they call. And every time I call, I'm not on hold for a long time. We’ve had a couple of incidents with my mom and myself to where our credit was being ransacked. And then, LifeLock called and they stooped it. They’re doing what they’re supposed to do and they need to keep up the good work. I would tell other people to make sure that they keep their credit and their social security safe and use LifeLock.

I've been scammed and I've been compromised with the FBI, the Veterans' Records Section and with the OPM. I already receive free coverage from the government as I have 10 years of monitoring that comes free. But I still like the way LifeLock does it. Also, when I looked at other forms, their prices were at least at a par, if not more reasonable. Plus, LifeLock offered at the time a million dollars' worth of protection which was one of the aspects of their program.
When I had an incursion about six months ago, they caught it right away and called me. There were three attempts to open a bank credit card account in our names. Twice in mine and one in my wife's. We discussed the problem, then LifeLock made contact with the bank where the attempted incursions happened and we had a three-way conversation. It takes a three-way conversation to squash the incursion. We went through that three times with the three different attempts. LifeLock performed where they said they will and they were able to straighten it out. They were competent and they did their work well. They're the only ones that I really ascribe for continuous coverage.

A year and a half ago, thieves got my social security number off my Medicare card, so I decided to get LifeLock. Now, I’m trying to get rid of this PayPal issue and the LifeLock individuals I've spoken to have tried very hard to be helpful but the issue just keeps going on and on. Traditionally on January 28th or 29th, I get a notice that asks if it was me applying for credit and I tell them no and thought that that was it. But even if on January 30th I try to contact Paypal and say that it was fraud, I would still have to go the same process. Paypal has closed the account, but every two days I get a notice saying that they couldn’t process my order. So, every Friday afternoon since January I've sat down and written emails and made phone calls. I get these notices 36 hours after something happens and that's too late. Still, I'm gonna stick with LifeLock because of the quality of the people they have on staff.

I've had LifeLock for several years now but with my first identity theft issue, it didn’t help me much at all. I reported to LifeLock that I’ve had numerous IRS filings but I’m not so sure they'd be able to do in notifying me about it. About two years ago, I had somebody very nice file a tax refund for me from the state of DC, from Maryland, from Indiana, from Iowa, from Michigan and from Wisconsin.
All $1,500 usually just go through and they send you a check although everybody wanted more information except Indiana who sent me a one. So my lucky factor was, whoever has my identity wasn’t able to change the address of my IRS so everything came to me. That’s how I knew I was having problems with that identity theft. I notified LifeLock and they said okay and that they could show me where to get the papers. I told them I already filed that and they said that’s taking care of it. I thought it's not a big help but fine. And then, just before I started having these things that LifeLock started calling me about, I had somebody again file an employment request with the state of Maryland. I tried to get ahold of LifeLock but every time I did, it said, “Press this for this, press this for a person, all the lines are covered, call back later.”
I didn’t have anything other than go down through an unemployment office and not gonna travel over to Baltimore, Maryland to file a false claim. I also got a request from the state of Iowa and had about the same luck on getting hold of them other than when I was on the internet, making sure that the number that I had on the form was the right one because I never called. Somebody sends me a form and says call this number to make sure that this gets filed right. Also, instead of dealing with these fraud alerts, freezing the credit’s gonna be a better deal for me. Nevertheless, I’d recommend LifeLock to others. They have been the most proactive among all the ones I looked at.

My daughter’s got LifeLock and I’ve also seen it on TV. Then we got something in the mail or I got an email about a discounted price. I had heard good things about LifeLock and since we'e in this crazy world, we got their identity theft protection service. Someone accidentally keyed in a number wrong and used my husband's social security, and they alerted us immediately. We were at a racetrack on a Saturday afternoon and they called. They sent me the address to what I needed to do and I did what they told me to do, and nothing showed back up. Everything came out A-OK. They have great people to work with. They were Johnny-on-the-spot, very helpful and on top of it. You should get LifeLock. We haven’t had it long but we’ve had a great experience with them.

My experience with LifeLock is bittersweet. A long time ago Rush Limbaugh was talking about it on his show so I looked it up. And then I had it and then I dropped it ‘cause of money. And then I decided to get it again because I’m an IT and I’ve realized that you're just gonna have to force yourself to pay for something. The selling point for me was if someone is opening an account you’ll get a notification right away and I didn’t find anybody else that did it. I like also the fact that they’d have people to help you get that identity theft if it did go through. They would help you resolve it and get it taken care of.
The cool thing was I didn’t know my identity was stolen until it was on the app. And if I was gonna try it out myself, I would do it once a year or whatever with a free credit report and then by the end of it, it would’ve been too late. You have to see that response and I could say ‘No’ but it still got through. It was normally you would get shut down but it didn’t and it still went through, and I didn’t realize it until about a month later. I told LifeLock it wasn’t me and we got it resolved. The restoration team is really good. However, I was told that they were gonna fix everything and then all my expenses will gonna be reimbursed and that’s not entirely true.
It’s worth it but don’t get your hopes up over the one million dollar guarantee. That is kinda shady because it’s not entirely accurate. That’s not really why you’re doing it anyway. It’s just that normally, in our culture we always look at all the money side of it. If it happens, it happens. But the most important thing is that you have a team. The restoration team that was there, they know what they’re doing and send you a packet, you just give them the information, they’ll get it knocked out and you’re not going to worry about it. The only stress we have is running around trying to get all these documents that you have to do. But then you upload everything to the portal and you’re good to go.

I wanted to make sure that my bank accounts and credit cards are all protected and an identity theft protection service seemed like a good idea. I had a long-standing problem with someone who had stolen my identity and had accessed funds in my name, had all my information, my social security number, where I work, telephone number, address and date of birth. It was affecting my credit so I called LifeLock and they told me what the process was and what steps I could take. I did those and the problem got resolved. Thereafter, I got a letter from the company that was chasing me which said that there were no more problems and it was taken off my credit report. Everybody that I've talked to at LifeLock was very knowledgeable, helpful, thorough and professional. LifeLock is affordable and when I needed it, it was effective. I've already recommended this company to a bunch of people.

I had gone through two credit card fraud situations. US Bank was very good at dealing with them but it was getting to a point where I just thought we needed something more so I went ahead and took out LifeLock. It was the best that I've heard about from other people. They thought that LifeLock was good and I didn’t have any better alternative so I went with them. LifeLock's notification trigger, the alerts, helped us. We've had not many but probably four or five alerts and some of them were just mortgage companies requesting a credit check which is no big deal but we have had two situations where we had someone trying to apply for a credit card under my name. My interactions with their team were all excellent. I recommend LifeLock all the time.

There was an attempt at a credit card in my name and LifeLock alerted me. They put me in touch with the particular bank and they knew what they were doing. They set up a time for a conference call with the bank and the bank recognized it as a fraud as well. LifeLock monitored what they were supposed to monitor and they were prompt. Also, the agents that I spoke with were courteous. It's worth the money against fraud and theft and to protect your identity.

I had an identity theft situation and LifeLock was the best identity theft protection provider that I could think of. I had a stolen identity situation, so I contacted LifeLock. Their products and services have been able to help me a bit. They are always there to help me and they do an intervention where they interview the other party that I have a problem with. They would really take care of everything. I enjoyed talking to their staff. They were very knowledgeable and very helpful. Emailed LifeLock Customer Service letting them know I cannot input my bank password as the field does not allow enough characters. The CSR's response was for me to change my password, make it shorter. So why does LifeLock offer account monitoring at all then if it cannot make a simple programming change to allow additional characters within the password field? Not at all acceptable by me - if LifeLock can't fix this soon, then I will discontinue using their services and sign up with Experian which will cost me more money but like they say, "You get what you pay for" and I'm certain Experian can do better.

It seems that the president of LifeLock put his social security number on a truck and drove it down the city streets of New York, and that was the first time I saw that, so I chose them to be our identity theft protection provider. So far, we've had two or three incidents where our security has been breached, and they were quick enough to get two of them stopped. With one of them, we had to completely lock down our credit reports and I just got a resolution on this last one today.
They were the muscle and they had more leverage in talking with the creditors that got their attention. The last creditor didn't want to talk to me and they said that we were just trying to duck out, but when LifeLock got on the phone with them it was a completely different story. I've been very pleased with everybody that I've talked to there. One thing that I like about these folks is they have an understanding or an empathy. It was really frustrating on my end to be going through some of these incidents and they were able to work out our way through these once step at a time, and they brought the issues to a resolution every time. Out of the three identity theft incidents that we've had, we got 100% success three times.

My experience with LifeLock is a nightmare right now! LifeLock has lost their connection to my bank account due to system updating on their part, and they are not sending me transaction alerts! When I phoned them 3 times for help, they did absolutely NOTHING to help me! None of my questions were answered definitively either by their office in North Idaho or by their office in Manila, Philippines! They could not even give me an APPROXIMATE date as to when they would be able to send me Transaction Alerts again, nor would they even send me an email to confirm that they were giving my account priority status and creating a case regarding my problem!
Chloe in the North Idaho office told me that I would be able to correct the problem by deleting my bank account and then re entering it... this did not work, so NOW my bank account and the accompanying debit card is not even on my LifeLock account! A rep told me 48 hours ago that she would return my call in 10 minutes and I never even heard from her! DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE! DO NOT DO IT! :(
Updated on 6/20/2018: Today I received a phone call from Lifelock's headquarters which resolved my problems over the past 5 days.

We had LifeLock for quite a while since initially, they were the only one. Now, Experian and TransUnion have gotten into the industry which is a joke because Experian mixed my husband and his identical twin brother's credit reports in 2015. We still have the repercussions because things went into the databases but never went away. Then, some things were going on that it seemed like getting an identity theft protection was a smart thing to do. Like when our friend's parent’s social security numbers were taken. We then decided to go back to LifeLock.
Recently, my wallet was stolen and within literally minutes, LifeLock was alerted that two of my credit cards were trying to be used. Initially, we get alerts for the email address, and our social security number. Then, we were out of town from May 21st to May 22nd, and when we walked into our bank in Chicago, we filled out blank withdrawal forms and took cash out of two accounts. In the morning of 23rd, I saw things that were not right. As I was talking to the bank, LifeLock alerted that on the 22nd, someone was trying to open a credit account in my name.
LifeLock was right there and eventually, the identity theft stopped. Their personnel called on the phone with the Comenity Bank that was approached by the credit card with a three-way call. We went through everything, and we did an alert from Comenity saying that it was a phony application and that their inquiry was going to be removed from our credit bureaus.
I had the basic LifeLock plans and currently upgraded because of this latest incident. I had to send them all the individual credit card numbers and they froze all the credit bureaus which prevented us from moving out of town next month. Now we’re pushing it till next spring because frozen credit bureaus are not helpful if you have to get utility use. The plan includes more financial things to make sure that we write this out and that we could roam next year.

I feel really good about LifeLock. The fear that someone could empty my bank account or charge something on one of my charge cards without me knowing convinced me to use their services. Also, they were one of the first that offered this kind of service. Others offered the same type of service, but I didn't know if they would do as good of a job. I like the fact that LifeLock backs you up if something does happen. But so far, they've caught everything before anything ever happened. I get a text message usually which lets me know immediately that someone is trying to open up an account in my name. They also tell me to call them to see if it was me or someone else. Then they put me in touch with that provider and shut that application down.
Right now, I've got a fraud alert with Experian out there to make sure that nobody is trying to open charge cards in my name for the next 90 days. But every time it comes off, some person would try to open another charge account in someplace. I've shared the information about LifeLock at church with some people and told them that nowadays, you never know what's out there and who can take advantage of you. There were at least three people who said that they've got to get Lifelock and that it is a good idea.

Somebody stole my husband’s identity or got his information and bought $400 worth of grocery with his card, so we decided to get identity theft protection. My husband has since then passed away, but my identity was stolen. And I had been dealing with this since February, and LifeLock has been very helpful. We've gone in, and we've proven to these companies, except for Fingerhut, they're still trying to bill me for something I never even got. I don’t even use Fingerhut and they keep sending me these bills. So that one is still an uphill battle. But I absolutely love LifeLock. They’ve worked hard for me and it's wonderful. I recommend them to everybody I talk to and I tell them, “If you don’t have LifeLock, you better get out."

I like to keep my information protected and private. I saw LifeLock's commercials and they cover more things while other identity theft providers just cover the credit part of it. Majority of the people from LifeLock who I've talked to when I called them were very knowledgeable. The rep I've had was very professional too. With LifeLock, I truly trust that my information is secure. I get a notification when someone tries to get a credit in my name right at the moment that it's happening. The price isn't high as well. For $29.99, it’s convenient and affordable to protect your information versus not getting anything then having people pay out with your information. I'll tell people the benefits I get from being a LifeLock member and encourage them to trust them like I do.

One of my husband’s credit card had been hacked three different times. We had to get his card changed, and I thought it was probably time to get identity theft protection. I recently had an alert where somebody tried to open a credit card with my information online and it wasn’t me. When I called LifeLock, they were able to stop the card from going out. We had a situation where all the W2s in the company were sent out so, they purchased the plans from LifeLock for us and we didn’t have a whole lot of say in who we were dealing with. LifeLock calls me as soon as there’s an issue, sort it out with just the vendor on the phone, get it all handled and move on to the next time. Somebody’s trying to steal my identity all the time and it’s been happening every other week for me. They’ve been on top of everything and it saved me from a lot of issues.
When somebody opened an Old Navy account online in my name and purchased a couple of hundred dollars’ worth of stuff, LifeLock flagged that and got Old Navy on the line and we had all that taken care of. So they’re very valuable and they are protecting my bank accounts. Why Old Navy would open an account just online is beyond me, but everybody else has been stopped dead in their tracks. I’ve had people try and open all sorts of account under my name. When resolving an issue, LifeLock emails you first asking if it was you. When you say no, they would call you and discuss it. While on the phone, they get the vendor as well and verify that that was not you. After that, they get with Equifax and the other two credit agencies and make sure that it’s taken off your records so it doesn’t affect your rating. You don’t have to do any of it and it’s worth 30 bucks a month.
Google yourself, put your name into the internet and see what comes up. People can easily get your age and where you have lived over the course of your life. Your information is all over the place. They know everything about you and they get your social security number. I keep hoping that the government is gonna, at some point, address this and assign new numbers to us because it’s so common. So, if they can get to that, think of all the other experts can get to a lot of other things. It’s pretty much a free for all and it is so easy for people to get information on you, it’s not even funny and it’s frightening.
It’s a real pain when identity theft happens to you. It’s horrible and to have somebody do it is devastating because you’re always nervous and you know that there are things out there and somebody’s trying to do something. A couple of weeks ago, it was somebody in Arizona and a couple of weeks before that it was somebody in Florida trying to open something. These people just get better and better in getting to your stuff all the time.
LifeLock has been fantastic and everybody else I talked to has been very helpful, friendly and knows what they’re doing. There was one person who called in the evening. I usually get calls during the weekday and the kid just didn’t seem to be up to speed with what he should be doing. It was totally different from anything else that I had experienced with them since it has happened often enough with me that I know the drill. But LifeLock has been really good and my employer paid for that for us for two years and now we’re on our own, so I upped my plan to include all of my investments portfolios. There is nobody else to compare them to and I would recommend them to anybody.

We had some friends that had some problem, so we decided to get LifeLock. There was one rep that I dealt with mostly and she took care of things right away. As soon as I told what was going on, they shared everything and they told me what I needed to do as far as taking care of stuff and they made sure that I get the rest of what I was dealing with. I've had experiences in the past where my credit card had been used and I wasn't the one doing it. Somebody got my number. I wanted to make sure I would be protected from anything like that so I went to LifeLock. Right now, I got a notification about a charge that shouldn't have occurred and nobody has reached out to me about these issues so I'm disappointed. My credit card company and LifeLock should have been part of that notification and were not so I'll see what happens next. Other than that, the team at LifeLock are professionals and very nice.

Everybody else is getting in trouble and I figured that I better get some protection and LifeLock was over the place. Their ads were on TV, over the radio and in emails. I tried LifeLock out and it seemed to be working so I kept it. One time, somebody made an application for a credit card but I didn’t do it. LifeLock sent me an email, then I told them that it wasn’t me and that was the end of it. LifeLock stopped it for me. My credit was never affected and nobody got caught using my name. LifeLock did what they were supposed to do. LifeLock works for me and it will work for anybody.

A friend told me about how LifeLock monitors activities for him, credit-wise. Things happen to this world so I need to be very careful. I cannot trust anybody. I had briefly lost track of my laptop and I was worried about the security of the information on it. I was able to get my laptop back but it made me so worried. Security breaches have become quite widespread and every day you learn of one. It made sense to protect yourself. I've had my credit compromised through Experian and I've also been a United States government employee, so I had the OPM breach affect me. I have locked all my credits after the Experian happened so nobody even knows I exist. I locked so nobody can make a credit inquiry. I couldn't apply for a new loan and I couldn't do anything. Because if anyone does a credit inquiry of me, I don't exist. I also had the Home Depot breach affect me. I have TrustedID and I also had CSID. Then I also got US ID from the VA, where I had worked. But then that expired and I didn't renew it. I have multiple people monitoring stuff.
I've been with LifeLock since 2013. However, they gave a lot of erroneous alerts that drive me crazy. Sometimes it's just an alert. Sometimes it's credit line notification made on the credit something. It's just tough that it uses terminology that I don't understand because it's the kind of terminology that is utilized in the finance industry and I don't know what it means. There were a couple of times I just said, I'm kinda done with this. And then their customer service is inconsistent. You'd occasionally get someone who understands what's going on and get things done. Otherwise, people make it hard for you.
They started at 7:00 am on Pacific Time, which is already 9 am for us here in Central Time. Then they say they can't take care of something first thing in the morning. Then if you'd call in the afternoon and when you come home at 7:00 o'clock, and you're trying to resolve something with the third party, then you typically get the call center of that third party, and the LifeLock folks can't help. All of the LifeLock reps are very knowledgeable and effective so I think they must have just grown so rapidly as a company that they haven't adequately trained their workforce. I'm always on the edge about renewing and wondering if there are better products out there or better customer service.
The people who answered the phone need to be consistent. I'm a premier customer and sometimes I get the wrong line, and then I get the wrong information, and then I get to another line. The latest issue was a Victoria's Secret credit card, apparently opened in my daughter's name. They had run a credit report but then accidentally entered my daughter's social security number rather than the other person's and it created an alert. But then when LifeLock finally got in touch with Victoria Secret, they just said, "We realized we've made a mistake. It was just a false credit inquiry." But that took me so many phone calls to resolve. And in the end, there was nothing to worry about. In a sense, it was an alert that didn't matter.
There must be a lot of garbage errors that are occurring in the background continuously that I probably don't need to know about. I couldn't separate from what I heard, whether it's just a credit inquiry versus an actual issuance of a credit card with the social security number. And then they try to sell me more stuff when I was calling them. I've been broadly disappointed and it's a valuable service but I'm on defect.
I've got so many different responses from their folks and there are times I'd be grateful because I've been relieved, that it was nothing. Like when the doctor comes and tells you that, "We opened up your belly and it wasn't cancer" you're very grateful but then, two days later you'll say, "why did the doctors open up my belly?" One time, they just said, "You're gonna have to take that up with the Credit Bureau." I said, "Wait a second, you offer me a one-million-dollar credit clean-up guarantee and you want me to call up the Credit Bureau?" The idea of the service is very good but I don't know what it has prevented and I don't know what it has really done.

The identity theft protection program sounded good to me and I know that identity theft is pretty big right now so I wanted to try and be protected by it. I've been hit already at the beginning of May and I got four alerts from LifeLock that people were trying to get into my stuff. I had to change all my accounts. LifeLock has been on top of it so I'm so happy with LifeLock and I'll stick with them as long as I'm in business. The LifeLock team has always been very professional. They explained everything to me and made everything clear. They took care of business really fast. I was really impressed with them and I've already recommended LifeLock to a lot of other people. Never once have they failed me and the program was worth every cent that they charge.

I’ve had a positive experience with Lifelock. People need to sign up because cyber security is a new crime today and people are more and more being victimized by identity theft. Also, it’s something that people seriously need to look into. I had an investigation with the identity theft and the investigators responsible for the case suggested that I purchase an additional security measure to enhance the effectiveness of the investigation. I did that and it seemed to me that LifeLock is a good choice after reading and hearing positive results of LifeLock consumers. I subscribed and I’ve had some extraordinary and beyond exceptionable result from their key personnel until their restoration unit. And consistently on a daily basis, my credit is being restored.
Lifelock’s team was all web-based inquiries. Some were actual credit card inquiries and I would receive an alert after I logged in, and after reading the alert it would ask me, “Did you actually attempt to apply for credit or not with this agency,” and I would select yes or no. Then, during the day, a restoration team member would have some mediation with some creditors and we would get the fires put out and it was very successful. I’m at the end of my identity theft. However, I’m gonna keep the service just to be pro-active in case the identity theft happens again. And I’ve sent my claims keyed-in. All the key personnel and people were very polished, professional and they knew what they were doing. They politely interacted with the creditors with my acknowledgment and they did all the legwork. It was a real relief because I’ve spent a lot of time on the phone trying to get some issues resolved and their service was very helpful to me.
LifeLock is a valuable tool to restore your credit and it should be part of everybody’s financial aid or tool to put in place, to make sure your identity and credit are good on a daily basis. People should sign up because it’s a good program and LifeLock does what it says it’s gonna do. LifeLock has put out a lot of fires in advance from someone attempting to open credit and they restore your credit.

I'm a security type of person. I feel safer having LifeLock knowing that they monitor my social security number. I also really liked the comments that my friend gave about them and the easy access to personnel with compliance. Since I've had LifeLock, they have contacted me on three separate occasions because someone had attempted to open an account using my number. One of them was me, but still, they flagged it because it was at an unusual location.
The last time I dealt with LifeLock was a little long because of Verizon, which I dealt with them after LifeLock contacted me. I still had to deal with Verizon for a little while, and I finally got a LifeLock employee even though LifeLock had contacted Verizon and denied the claim for me. I wound up having to be on a conference call with LifeLock and Verizon, and we discovered that the reason I couldn't get on those calls was that the Verizon employee did not enter the proper information into their computer. Nevertheless, LifeLock got that squared away while I was on the phone. I'm really pleased with their performance and I would recommend the LifeLock Standard membership. They monitor your Social Security, and if anybody opens a card and it's unusual, they will contact you. They can also monitor your bank.

I felt that identity theft protection was necessary nowadays so I got LifeLock. I heard about them on The Sean Hannity Show and their team was excellent. They helped me, sent information and I've been enjoying it ever since I've had it. My social security number has been used twice and I've gotten an alert the same number of times. It was taken care of quite rapidly so, everything was fine on that end. It was one of the best choices I've made in my lifetime. I've never had a problem with LifeLock and I've had a pleasant and excellent experience.

My wife passed away and my account has been hacked a couple of times, and so I thought that LifeLock could help me. I called LifeLock and they helped me get back on track. But when I went to the police officer, he asked if I have LifeLock and I said yes. He then asked if I was notified by LifeLock and I said no. I just paid for another year last week. I was thinking they could give me a discount on that because they messed up.
As a matter of fact, another consumer called me and told me I owe them $107 for T-Mobile. But I said that I don’t have T-Mobile, I got Verizon. They gave me my Social Security number and everything, so these people got everything on me. I called LifeLock and asked them why wasn’t I notified and they said that sometimes it falls through the crack. I told them that as much as I paid for it, it shouldn’t fall through cracks. I got my bill for next and it's still as much as it was before. This should've gotten me at least a little discount since it was scary knowing that I got hacked, and they didn’t know it. I wrote to LifeLock and gave them my complaint saying that if this happens again, I would definitely gonna drop them and go somewhere else. I shouldn’t have to worry.
Nevertheless, when I got hacked twice by the same thing from T-Mobile, LifeLock called me the first time, and I told them that I don’t have T-Mobile, and so they dropped it. The second time, it was almost $200, and I told LifeLock again that I don’t have it. T-Mobile isn't researching to find out that it wasn’t me. These people are from New York and I'm from Florida. I told LifeLock that these guys are harassing me and I want this stopped. They called me three weeks later and told me that they took care of it and that these people from T-Mobile would not bother me anymore, which I appreciated. Nevertheless, I'm still comfortable with LifeLock because even when I pay my mortgage, they give me notifications and ask me if I did the payment. Also, I was happy with the woman at LifeLock who I dealt with as she was fantastic. She helped me get through all this and kept me in contact.

A small issue made me realize that I needed to protect my identity and I started with LifeLock. I have been with them for about 15 years now and they’ve been great. In the past six to 12 months, they caught a couple of things and their customer service has been outstanding. I had to call in once or twice and I have such good things to say about everyone I worked with. And in the couple of times they've reached out to me, they've always been more than understanding and willing to get to the issue at hand. They've also been super proactive in helping protect my identity. Their prices are pretty reasonable, too. I would recommend LifeLock to anyone. In fact, my husband joined before we were married based on my recommendation.

With so many people who have had their identity stolen, I thought about getting identity theft protection. So I looked at different companies and LifeLock was the best bet for me. I had very positive experience with their team. I also like that if somebody tries to take out a loan or open up a credit card in my name, the LifeLock team contacts me right away. And I've had at least six occasions where someone was trying to open up a credit card in my name and they caught that right away. So I'm glad I joined LifeLock. Everybody should do the same because identity theft is a big problem and people may end up with bad loans on credit cards. They gotta protect themselves. And with LifeLock, their identity is protected.

I had a problem with my account and your customer service is awful. First they tried to authenticate me by asking about a person I currently live with or lived with recently. They referred to Jeff, who is my college roommate from 1993. This is certainly not “recent or current”. They also asked where my social security number was issued. This happened when I was a baby, over 40 years ago. How in the world would I know where this was issued?!? Then I was transferred from enrollment to member services and back to enrollment and back to member services. No one could answer basic questions about my account. You should be ashamed of this performance.

Joined LifeLock because I wanted monthly updates from all three Bureaus. Come to find they only furnish reports from Equifax with the $200/year plan. Fine, upgrade to $300/year plan to get Transunion and Experian. ONLY then do you find out that the reports are updated only a yearly basis for Experian and Transunion. Called to cancel, and "Retention" specialist Nikolai felt the need to tell me that actually, their lawyers do a great job. I told Nikolai I don't care what he thinks of his lawyers and asked for his supervisor. Mr. ** was even worse, and actually laughed at me during the cancellation. I am beyond disgusted with these crooks.

We learned we were double-billed for Norton and contacted the chat line. Sunil on the chat line said the best thing was to combine the subscriptions. This placed our renewal for Norton to 2022. I asked about the LifeLock discount and Sunil gave me the number to LifeLock and told me to call them. I called LifeLock the next day and was told Norton should have given me a code for the discount and was told I would need to cancel my LifeLock subscription and contact Norton for the code and then give it to LifeLock. I found the bundle online in my Norton account and tried to purchase it. I received an error message and called the number for LifeLock I was given.
After multiple attempts of trying to explain the problem, a LifeLock representative said the problem was the extended subscription. She offered $25 savings. I saw where new customers were receiving the bundle for half the regular price. But as a long-term customer, I was offered very little and I was on the phone for 2 hours trying to resolve the issue. I am disgusted with both companies. I called for a refund the following day and was told that Norton can only refund to the latest charge within 60 days. The reps at each company said they were unfamiliar with the other company's promotions. Ridiculous for established companies to have the long standing customer work out the kinks in the promotions. This should have been better thought through before releasing it to the public.

I lost over about $700 in one shot over someone hacking my bank account. I signed up with LifeLock and I'm very pleased with their service. I have a lot of confidence in it. When there was someone who took out a loan in my name, before that loan can be granted, LifeLock caught it and stopped it immediately. It was very very good to know that I'm getting that service and the rep I worked with was very thorough. She got the other personnel online on the phone that was from the company that they filed for the loan and didn’t have me call them. She corresponded with the whole group and solved that issue. So, she was able to put me in touch with someone that I could talk to and correspond with to finish clearing up my report. She was very helpful and she stuck to it with me the entire way, which was good. All in all, LifeLock is excellent and I'd recommend them. They're worth every dollar and every penny.

I was a victim of identity theft and I wasn’t happy with the company I had. I read somewhere about the service that LifeLock provides so I decided to try them out and I’ve been very happy since. I like that when I had a problem, I got a call on my cell phone telling me somebody was trying to open a credit account on my name. I got in touch with LifeLock and from then on, they took care of getting the whole thing straightened out for me. It was great. In my other experience, the company never even notified me about the last three people who tried to use my name so that was very disturbing. I love LifeLock and my interaction with them has been terrific.

People were talking about identity theft protection and it was starting to become an issue back in 2006. At that time, LifeLock just had one level of protection and it was $99 per year. For the service provided, that was very cheap. So, I thought that even if identity theft never happened to me and I didn't need it, it was only $99 a year. It was like a home insurance policy. So, I got the LifeLock's service. But one thing I didn't like was that they changed the levels of their protection. In the beginning, the plan I enrolled in was $99 and it was supposed to be guaranteed for life. But all of a sudden, it didn't include all the benefits that it originally had. A lot of the services that was associated with it, as far as monitoring three credit sources and three credit reporting companies went away. So, I almost got rid of it, but I’m glad I didn't because this year I had my identity stolen when Equifax got hacked.
I got an email saying somebody applied for credit in my name in a bank in the state of Washington. Then I got a call from a very knowledgeable representative of LifeLock and she took care of the whole problem. We got a conference call set up and we talked to the bank out there and told them it wasn't me. This happened three times since then and each time, LifeLock has been on the ball as, otherwise, I wouldn't have known.
I was checking my credit reports every year, but then I’ve been kind of lackadaisical about that in the last couple of years. But now I’m back to checking my credit reports and I found one that LifeLock had not found yet when I got a credit report from Experian. I called up LifeLock and they said that since, technically, the credit hasn't been granted, they couldn’t do anything yet. But the rep gave me the number of whom to call. I spoke with the bank manager and she said that if I couldn’t resolve the issue on my own, then in the future when it gets to where they're issuing the credit, we were gonna do another conference call.
After the first identity theft incident happened, I upgraded to LifeLock's best plan. This costs $300 plus a month and I thought it’s definitely worth the extra money because they're now monitoring all three credit reporting agencies for me. Each credit report that I looked at wasn’t exactly the same as the others. One credit that the identity thieves had applied for in North Dakota showed up on TransUnion's credit report, but it didn’t show up on that of the other two credit reporting agencies. So, if you've just been monitoring Equifax, it wouldn’t show up on the others. Overall, LifeLock has been great.

I had a false report of a tax return in my name several years ago. I was told by different people to go with LifeLock and it will prevent any problems in the future. I signed up with them and I've been very happy. I had several credit cards opened in my name fraud for the first time in March. LifeLock alerted me and we were closing the accounts down as fast as they were opening it up. Two slipped by and got opened up. But LifeLock worked very hard and they were right on it. They sent me a packed and we filled all the information out. They represented me on my behalf to all the credit card companies and fixed the whole problem. They're top-shelf and I cannot brag on enough. They're very professional and they help me on anything I need and they get it done. I've tried to refer all of my friends all the way and they know what I went through. Several of them are already members and everybody I know is very happy with LifeLock.

My husband and I are on our 70's and we're retired. We can’t get around and we pay a lot of stuff on the internet. My husband has been hacked for three times since September then we began hearing stories and got a little worried about what could happen. My husband saw LifeLock on Facebook and we looked into it. Then, we decided to sign up with them.
Recently, something happened to me terribly. Someone made several attempts to open an account in my name with Capital One and Home Depot. All the attempts happened at 5 o’clock in the morning via the internet and I got an email from LifeLock at six stating that there were suspicious activities on my account. Luckily, I was up early and I told them that I didn't do that. Unfortunately, even though LifeLock notified me right away and I answered them right away, one account went through with Community Bank and a creep used that to put in an order for over $1,000 with Adorama, a company in New York City. Adorama called me and said that the shipping address looked a little fishy and they wanted to know if I placed the order. I told them that I didn't put in the order and to stop it. In fact, I'm filling out an affidavit and I gotta send it back to them.
Other than that, someone also tried to open an account in my name with American Express and the credit card company called me about it. I was surprised that it didn't go through LifeLock and they didn't know about that one. But we stopped that and canceled my old account with American Express. They’re issuing me a new card now. LifeLock's reps helped me and we put a freeze on my account. Even if I try to open up an account right now, I couldn’t do it without having to contact the credit services to unlock it. LifeLock provided a good service and I was very grateful. I would tell my friends to get their service as well.

I was signed up with a provider prior to LifeLock and that one expired on the provider’s request. They discontinued the service so I was left with what to do next. I was forced to have to consider doing something because I was a victim of identity theft. With my original provider, it was something that they thought was a courtesy to add on to my daily activities. I told them I would consider it and at that time, they were charging me $13 a month for that service. But at that point, I wasn’t a victim of identity theft. Then someone managed to get a hold of my identity and I had problems.
LifeLock had information and they had a way of contacting me in the event that there were problems. I would get a text message and they would follow up with a phone call and I would go from there. It was like an alert that they send me and then, I would just follow-through on different channels to take care of the problem. Dealing with the LifeLock team has been great and I’m happy that the service gives me peace of mind knowing that there is something out there to let me know and make me aware of any problems that are potentially happening. It’s good and spot on. Whenever I call LifeLock, they answer right away and they take care of everything.

I wanted an identity theft protection provider and I became fascinated with LifeLock from the commercial that I saw on TV, so I went with them. The employees that I've dealt with there have been friendly, knowledgeable, kind, and very helpful, and I appreciated that. Overall, my experience with LifeLock has been good and they've been able to help me greatly. They have been very instrumental in alerting me to any fraudulent activity that was going on in my name, then they called out the company and put the issue online with them to make sure that whoever was using my name to apply for a loan or a credit card was identified as fraudulent.

I got involved in a fraud and I heard about LifeLock on TV so I opted for their higher protection package. I’ve been with them for several years now and they’ve notified me several times on different credit cards that people were trying to put in my name. LifeLock asks about it and then I call in to say that I did apply for it or not. Their customer service is excellent. When I call, they’re very quick on the phone and I don’t have to hang on the line for 93 minutes. They‘re very willing to help and they go out of their way to make sure that everything is just as it should be and call back when they say they’re gonna call back. I enjoy working with them. In fact, I would tell a friend to get LifeLock.

I have been through various identity theft before, and one time, I was standing in the airport and then a guy was talking about LifeLock while I was behind him. He gave me his card and I checked it out. They were new in the market and there weren't any other options. I’ve been with LifeLock for a while. Recently, I had an encounter where somebody stole $28,000 out of my equity line. When I called in LifeLock to report the incident, they streamlined the process. They got on with the credit bureau and got them reported all at once. They were very helpful. I already started the preliminary report and still waiting for the bank to finish investigating so I can get documentation.
We had a little problem with one of the credit bureaus cause they wouldn’t give us some information. We called to get an update but because the credit report in the mail that I got had the wrong name on it, they said they could only talk to me and couldn't talk to LifeLock. In the end, the agent I was working with got the badge number of the employee from the credit bureau that was telling her that they couldn't talk to them.
In 30 years, I've been through this a couple of times and the process was much smoother with LifeLock. I like their expediency of taking care of things. In the old days, before computer, you had to do everything manually and it took days to get all the paperwork done. LifeLock was God-send. They make everything so easy. All in all, with life being so busy, people need to have LifeLock. For what they charge a month to monitor things and give alerts, I would strongly recommend they keep it. I was happy so I continued mine.

I was a victim of identity theft last year. Right after that, I decided to go with LifeLock 'cause it was an ongoing process for months. I spoke with my colleague who spoke highly about LifeLock. I had cases going on with the restoration agent from LifeLock, and in the beginning, it was great and they were helpful with my credit report. There were a few cases where I was on call continuously with the agents, and on my behalf, they were speaking with the other agents.
Unfortunately, the last few months with LifeLock haven't been that good. I had this other case since November of last year, and it took eight to nine months to solve the case, which it should not have taken that long. In between, there were a lot of issues. The agent who was helping me either left LifeLock or was transferred to a different branch. I was not given the complete information and for months, I didn’t hear back from LifeLock. That was a big major incident that was happening at that time. In the end, the case with the restoration was not successful, and the worst part is that the case was closed first and then it was informed to me. That was not proper protocol 'cause from the point of view of a restoration, if they're handling a case, they should always first have a conversation with their client and then decide whatever it is, maybe it's right, wrong, or the best course to take at that time.
LifeLock agents suggested for me to apply for an insurance claim, and see what happens. I took care of it but due to the wrong information provided to me by the agents, my insurance claim was rejected. The reason given was that the 90-day time period passed, which should have passed in November. The agent could have said to me in the beginning that LifeLock is gonna help me with this case, but this case doesn’t merit for insurance. Eventually, I had to pay the crediting company from my own pocket, which I should have never done that, but there was no other option. I'm not satisfied with LifeLock due to this past experience with them. I got a couple of cases resolved with LifeLock, but those were the minor ones.
Still, I would still suggest LifeLock to others at some point and at least have a talk with them and decide for themselves. If we're talking about something where it's just dealing with credit reports and bureaus, LifeLock is good with those, but if it involves major creditors, just make sure clients would follow up and make sure they ask the right questions to the agent at the right time.

I was notified by email that my credit card had been used with SSN and card number but no name. The note promised that someone from LifeLock would contact me by phone but it has not happened. Expensive service for what we are getting.

LifeLock was offered at my wife’s place and we said, “Yeah, sure. Let’s give it a shot.” And they were amazing. I've spoken to about three people from their team and they were just extremely nice and courteous. Every question or concern that I had, they took care of it. They were just awesome. They helped me in the instance where I was a victim of credit card fraud and someone had opened up a credit card in my name. It was $800 something. I contacted them and I signed some papers. Thereafter, I got a police report and they got everything taken care of. I was very satisfied with my experience with them and I recommend them to everyone.

My experience with LifeLock has been good. They have been monitoring my credit. They've been very professional and on top of things. They work really fast and they notify you, they give you the warning so you can check your records and see what’s going on. Actually, they just notified me that there was a breach. Somebody had stolen my identity and that’s what I’ve been doing for the last two months. The way they work with me is a very personable experience. They always answer when I call and I speak to a human, not a recorder or a machine. They also give me tips and advice on how to protect myself in different ways. I’m happy with what I’m getting. I'd recommend other people to get it. It's worthwhile even just to get into their basic service because it’s not that expensive.

To date, thankfully, I haven't had to make use of their recovery option. Anytime I've had to talk with someone there, they were always courteous and helpful. The only problem I have with them is their portal and its inability to accept my login info through Norton's ID Safe. I'm sure they have a logical reason for them, but It is frustrating having to locate my "backup" (read that as my hard copy) info. So much for computers making our lives easier.

I get frequent emails from LifeLock to check my login info with my Capital One credit card account. I was unable to add this credit card. I contacted Lifelock and was basically told they cannot monitor capital one cards. Makes no sense to me since this is my primary credit card.

I signed up as well, and I’m glad I did because I had someone trying to steal my identity in December and then not too long ago. And LifeLock jumped right on top of it and cleared it up so I'm very satisfied. The LifeLock team was very professional. I’ve had LifeLock five years ago. At that time, that was the only one I knew about. In the last six months someone, somehow, has gotten a hold of my social security number and my name. So, I’ve had about six or seven fraud alerts that LifeLock has caught and dealt with to clear it all up, and I couldn’t be happier. Their reps were always courteous, always polite and extremely knowledgeable about the problem. They were sympathetic and did a good job of directing, in my case, to the creditor or companies like Barclays or Chase to resolve the problem. Their reps were excellent.
When it started, to my mind, people weren’t knowledgeable. But at the time, there was a guarantee that if they screwed up, they would pass up their promises and so on. Fortunately, I’ve not had to deal with that. But when you have a company that’s willing to back up their service, that’s a plus. LifeLock is a good deal and it’s worth the price. It costs me 100 bucks a year and to avoid all the problems that I’ve had this last year, it’s well worth it. I've gone several years with no problems and when something happens, you’d say, “Oh my God, thank God I got a LifeLock.”

My friend got LifeLock for his family and I did the same for mine. I signed up last fall and come February, I got hit with a barrage of identity theft. I had about eight things hit all within six weeks. My date of birth, social security number, and everything was out there. They were going bank to bank, car loan to car loan, whatever they could open, and I’ve locked down everyone of them. I’ve since put a freeze with all three bureaus, so there’s no credit report and no credit score. LifeLock team helped and it could have been very ugly if I wasn’t alerted. However, I feel fundamentally that I’m paying for the service to protect me from their parent company. I was a victim of the Equifax breach despite me being so tight with my information. I don’t jump around with credit so I don’t know how my info has gotten out there. Nonetheless, LifeLock did a good job.

I was a LifeLock member for many years. When I needed them most, they failed me. I lost my purse and called them to report it so I wouldn't have anyone take advantage of credits cards, etc. They hung up on me a number of times, and after I was finally able to speak to someone, they said they couldn't help me. I called them again that evening and was put on hold for forever. It was a horrible experience! I canceled them and would encourage anyone to really investigate them before sending them your money. They were not there for me, didn't try to help and totally failed in customer service.
This consumer has not been a LifeLock member for more than 2 years. When the member called to report her lost wallet in 2016 she declined assistance from LifeLock. I saw a LifeLock commercial on TV back in the day, and at the time, I was trying to figure out what to do. I just started a new job and that job was gonna take me to Argentina. The government of Argentina requested a lot of personal information for me to be able to get a visa there to work. Then, when I started that job, it was the most money I've ever made in my whole life so I thought of signing up with LifeLock.
The guys from LifeLock are my stars. I've had at least four occasions where they have just flat stopped identity theft against me. When these happened, I got an email from them saying that we got a problem and they would explain to me what was going on. Then, they asked me if I applied for a credit card or if I did this or that. The most recent one was when somebody applied for a cell phone and LifeLock asked me to call them to confirm. So, I did and told them that I wasn't even in the continental United States that moment. They explained to me what they were seeing and if it was not me then they pretty much would take care of it. It's all been positive with LifeLock. They have the best reputation among the places that do identity theft protection.

I had gone through a horrendous identity theft and I knew that I had to get help. LifeLock would text and call me and immediately I would return the call and they would run down the transaction that was tried. Did I authorize this? And obviously my answer would be, "No, I don't know. No, I did not apply for that credit card." And they would contact the credit bureaus to not authorize any transaction that my name appeared on. I am so happy that I joined LifeLock and they have been a lifesaver. I've lost a substantial amount of money and they have blocked anyone down the road from doing that. That yearly sum that I spend with LifeLock is a pittance to my satisfaction.

Looks like I'm throwing away $10.00 every month! The canned BS response I received from LifeLock didn't make things any better.

LifeLock is a good company. They were always on top of things and also answered all of my questions. They did a couple of things that I really didn’t think that they would do too. I've used Walmart's website about once or twice and there was a breach, and they notified me about that. Also, when I refinanced my car, it was a lending institute that reached out and LifeLock told me about that. I really like them.

I had some fraudulent charges that were put on one of my credit cards and LifeLock was able to take care of those. I’ve had several other ones too, so they’ve been hard with me on making sure my credit is locked down and that anytime somebody tries to open a credit card in my name, LifeLock would be right on it. They’ve been taking care of whatever I need and they’re on top of it. I’m also thankful that they are really proactive. I get calls from them and they see things before I do. LifeLock has been excellent, as well as both of the account reps I've worked with.

I got LifeLock through my wife's business. Redmond hospital had it for everybody and it had a special feel, and we were looking for it, it popped up and we took it. We've been getting tapped quite a bit. We've been having some problems and LifeLock has thwarted quite a few things and they've done a really good job. The first thing they do is they call us and tell us what's going on. They dig deeper into it and if it's a small thing, they call the company and do a three-way, and if they can't get it solved right then, about four weeks later they have a follow-up. When they had this credit unlimited file for the loan, they called me up and then I had them take care of it.

Tim signed up for LifeLock and I have a Power of Attorney for the account. But the people who answer the phone don’t have any idea how to handle the account when you have a Power of Attorney. I got juggled around from person to person before I got to the person that I needed. So LifeLock has not been very helpful. My experience was not very good and I don’t recommend it.

I heard good things about LifeLock so I decided to go with them. I had an incident in which they caught and were able to correct quite quickly. A credit card had been opened in my name or had been applied for in my name and they had indicated that happened at 6:00 PM. LifeLock sent me emails on a Friday about 9 PM, which was when they reached out and caught it. And then they called by Monday afternoon and got me on the phone with the credit card service and we got it resolved.
The only thing that I didn’t love was that when I disputed the alert, they sent me a very generic email saying, "We’ll reach out in three to five business days." I get it that there was nothing they could do but it would have been nice to receive a call over the weekend even though it's just a person saying, "Don’t worry. Everything's okay." And just something more than that automated email like, "Here’s everything we're going to do. This is first thing Monday morning when everything's open again. We'll get on it." That would have been nice.
Generally my interactions with the LifeLock team are okay. But I had an issue where I was trying to have the higher level plan and they were having trouble. I had just moved and so the credit bureaus were reporting a different address for me than what my actual address was. I didn't know that it was their fault but LifeLock kept telling me I had to contact the credit bureaus and whenever I’d contact them, they said there was nothing they could do. Ultimately, LifeLock's answer was that I needed to downgrade my service. And I couldn't have the service then, so that was a little frustrating. But their people were helpful and I have since upped the service. And I haven't heard anything so I guess everything has corrected itself over time.
With LifeLock I have peace of mind knowing that they're watching and potentially able to help. And I'd tell my friends to get LifeLock or something like it, definitely. LifeLock is a good option and honestly, I have thought about cancelling it until the incident happened with me and now, there's no way I'm canceling it. In terms of them versus a competitor LifeLock is fine and they do a good job. I've seen little random things here and there but overall LifeLock is a really good service.

After that big Equifax to-do last year, I called LifeLock to see what kind of membership and price points they offered. It was concern that finally made me decide to go with them. Not too long after signing up with them, I ended up as a victim of identity and fraud issues. LifeLock stepped in and they’ve been very useful and helpful. So signing up with them was a good move on my part.
The only thing that I had a hiccup with was communicating the initial alert to me at the beginning. They had sent a couple of emails which unfortunately ended up in my spam folder and I didn’t catch them in time. But they followed-up on that and made a couple of phone calls. Maybe it was because I didn’t respond to the email or it was just to be redundant and doubly safe. I wasn’t able to grab my phone but my voicemail picked up and this was where I saw a problem. They did not leave a message. They could have simply said it was LifeLock calling, that they had detected something that could be a problem and that they need me to call them back. But I just had to hung-up a call from a number I didn’t recognize and I called it as dropping off the ball.
What happened was someone was trying to open a credit card in my name and as soon as the credit check went through, it alerted LifeLock. That was how it was supposed to work. They were monitoring and they did their job. But if they had left me that message, we could have cut this off right at the beginning. Instead, the credit card application went through. The person had the card and ran up thousands of dollars. But beyond that, LifeLock had been absolutely outstanding. They had been there every step of the way and they worked tirelessly. I spent a lot of time on the phone with them. They had been very polite with me and understanding. The conversation was just between LifeLock and myself and in some cases, with a third party that they were advocating my behalf with.
The service is a good value and it’s really worth the money. It doesn’t even cost a whole lot per year to be a member with their basic service and you still get a good deal with their basic service. They don’t cover some of the things in their basic service like monitoring credit cards but the bank probably is monitoring that anyway so I don’t need to pay someone for that. LifeLock is a good company to have. If something goes wrong, they will work all the way to get everything set back right.

I had some issues with the financial institution where a credit card was opened up. It wasn’t even a credit card; it was an account that was opened up under my name. They called me, and I told them it was not me and to not open the account. They asked for a police report and I did not have one. I said, “Look at it. It’s not me, just close it and we don’t need to do anything more”, and they agreed. But they didn’t close it because I never sent a police report and then someone used the account. I called LifeLock and told them what was going on and they immediately took over. They called the financial institution, talked with their fraud department and did all the legwork for me. In the meantime, I had also done split credit freezes with all the credit bureaus. So when all of this was done, they helped me release the freezes and get through the loan process. They did all the behind-the-scenes work and I didn’t spend any time on it.

My Social Security number was stolen a couple of times and I had to do a police report. My husband recommended me to LifeLock and signed me up. He told me that I would be very secured with LifeLock and that it is something that I would need in the future. And he was right. I haven’t had any problems whatsoever with the security. When I reported something through LifeLock several months ago, they responded immediately and everything turned out to be the correct way to do it. No one is using my Social Security anymore and I feel more confident now. LifeLock is doing a very good job and I’m really happy with the service. Thank you, LifeLock. I’m going to continue using the service and I would recommend them really highly as well.

Someone in the office was fired and stole a lot of the IDs and charged my business charge card up to about 30 thousand dollars. I just retired so I needed help. I joined LifeLock so I would be safe the next time around and so far, I've been very satisfied with them. I'm very pleased with how their customer service people handled my situation. They called me when transactions were taking place and I wasn’t aware of. They would ask if it is me. It's important and very helpful. I highly recommend LifeLock for everybody. In fact, I have my son on it.

I got a note from Experian and I didn’t have any problems, but because we have some assets that could disappear and I didn’t want that to happen, I needed to have identity theft protection. Also, I’m 73. If I lose everything I've worked for, it won't be a good situation. LifeLock has worked well and I love it. They've found about five things where my name or social security number was used to try to get a credit card or a loan. I would have never caught any of the stuff they caught and if they’ve been too late, I would’ve been paying somebody’s loan. There was one case where I bought a television for somebody in Florida and when I talked to the company, I told them that if it’s paid for, they should send it to me, but they didn’t do that.
I also really like that LifeLock would not just tell me about the situation, they would stay on the phone with me, listen while I was talking to the different banks or the loan companies, and help me say the right thing. Each one of the issues has been resolved in minutes and I’ve heard other stories where it would take months to get that stuff resolved, so I’m never gonna leave LifeLock. I’m happy with them and the reps have always been so polite. Plus, they always do follow-ups via email or phone to check if everything has worked out. I tell everybody about LifeLock. It’s been a good experience with them.

I heard horror stories from people that had identity theft happen to them so I decided I better do something. LifeLock did a good job. A couple of times people tried to open an application for credit and LifeLock has called me right away. We’ve been able to shut it down and mark how it happened. I get financial alerts about stuff that’s happening and, in some cases, it’s not bad because my son has the same name but I’d rather know about it and it doesn’t bother me. LifeLock’s team has been great and super helpful.

Identity theft protection was getting more and more to be an everyday thing and I didn't want to worry about it all the time so I got identity theft protection. LifeLock seems to offer the most widespread and effective coverage and I also had read that their customer service was really excellent. Since I signed up, I've had a few times when someone had tried to use my information, social security number and maiden name to open some credit account. LifeLock had been on top of it and called me, then conference called with those companies to get everything cleared up very quickly and easily. They took care of everything so it’s taken the stress off of me.
Every time I have to deal with somebody from LifeLock, they're very friendly, professional and helpful. If I have any questions I just ask whatever so I feel very comfortable and feel like there is somebody on my side every time. It's doing an excellent job and I would recommend them to anybody. I have recommended them to several members of my family so that they have that peace of mind. And if somebody asks me about them, I will tell them that the minimal cost of LifeLock is worth it to not to deal with the stress and know that someone's looking out for them.

I like what LifeLock offers and I’ve heard good things about them. They’ve helped me with several things including credit card fraud and it was very good with their team. I got to the Alert Team and they seemed to know what they were doing. They call if there has been a hit on my ID and I like how they treat me. I heard about LifeLock through my coworker and he had really good things to say about them. So, I got it to prevent identity theft. Since using it, I've been very pleased with LifeLock. I always get alerts when something different is happening with any of my accounts and I feel a whole lot safer. When I apply for a new loan, I get alerts right away to double-check that it is me doing it and not somebody else. And there has been a situation not long ago where somebody used my Social Security to try to open up another account that was not me. I have peace of mind with LifeLock.

Someone stole my identity and I was getting bills in the mail from credit card companies. I was hyperventilating and having anxiety attacks. I knew nothing about LifeLock but I read the reviews and had them take care of one of the issues for me. The young lady that I worked with was Laneeva and she was excellent. She was a very upbeat person. I’m 67 years old and I don’t know anything about identity theft and she was very reassuring that she would take care of everything. She did everything that she told me she was gonna do. She put a fraud alert on my credit card so no one can take out a credit card in my name unless they call me. I have another issue and if it won't get settled, I’m gonna turn that over to LifeLock also. I’m very pleased with what LifeLock did and I’m probably gonna be a member a long time. In fact, I told a bunch of friends about this company.

It's great having LifeLock watch my back. I love the phone updates. I love the things that anything over a certain amount is checked off on any of the accounts that we have. We had Experian before and why we went with LifeLock is if it wasn’t for the credit accounting office down in Florida checking to see the people that we're wanting credit using our name and stuff, if they didn’t call us directly that would have been given out to them. I had to alert Experian to that. They were not fulfilling the needs that was being paid because a bunch of accounts were taken from OSU University and they put us on them and we just went with them because after that year of free service from them I wasn’t upset with it.
I heard what levels LifeLock had and what depth they go and the 24 hours service knowing night and day that my accounts are honestly being monitored and my identity. I've experienced two identity thefts in my life right now and they have been tremendous on that. They have been on top of everything. Always a great response time and what's funny is they’ll sometimes call me before I get a chance to call them back on something to check up on things. The only thing is, I continue to get an error code for my bank statement. I know that I have the right password in there. I can get into it, and I don’t know why they can't. I rechecked it and my wife sees the statements all the time, so she does all that for us. I get the message, she doesn’t, but they're monitoring both of us so I know that the accounts are still being monitored, that’s why I really haven't reached out to them. They widen the spec.
But they've been great and I recommend it to people. My neighbors were experiencing something and luckily their bank has got it, but as you well know they don’t always use the thing. They’ll go for your credit card, your identity, everything, and I've only found LifeLock to be the one that monitors just about everything that goes on with my credit. After the second time my identity was taken, LifeLock froze my accounts for seven years. That is remarkable to have that kind of response to say anyone trying to run a credit on you, it's frozen. They have to come to me first.

I got a letter saying that my identity might have been compromised. So, I decided to go ahead and get identity theft protection. Since then, I've had a good experience with LifeLock. They sent me several alerts and helped a few times so it has been great. Also, the reps have been very nice. They're also very prompt, responsive to questions and concerns and they followed up when they needed to.

Beware of this company’s refund policy, and their overall service that's an enigma shrouded supposition. My reason for ending service was thoroughly reading the terms of membership for service, I was saddened and dismayed with the language used in the agreement, the agreement in general is nothing but a loophole offering nothing in return, you're better off using a free service, their credit monitoring is equal to, and in some cases superior to LifeLock. I purchased LifeLock on an impulse when one of my wife's credit cards was usurped, then I came to my senses and started reading and became disillusioned by the service. Think twice and really read LifeLock's policies of service.
We reached out to this member on 5/24 and 6/1 and are awaiting a response.

I’ve known certain people who are on LifeLock and are happy with it. My social security, driver’s license and name were taken so in order to try to get what was going on I got LifeLock. Whoever got my information from December to now, tried to get anything for about 30 times and I would never know what was going on if I didn’t have LifeLock. And it’s still going on. It seems to stop for a couple of weeks and then all of a sudden they try again and it’s overwhelming. But I’m 100% satisfied with LifeLock. They’re very helpful, knowledgeable and concerned about the consumers. I feel comfortable when I call LifeLock. I know that they’re gonna take care of whatever issue that arises. I would recommend this company.

A relative of mine was using LifeLock and it looked like a reasonable thing to do. I started using them seven years ago for preventative purposes and so far, so good. I haven't had a problem. There was an attempt to open a credit card account in my name that I did not authorize nor I didn’t do and they were right on it. They alerted me to that the day the attempt was made. The reps were helpful and very knowledgeable. I'm happy with the way things have been working with them.

Several years ago, my identity got mixed up with another person's because our first names are the same and our social security numbers are one digit apart. Hers was a 1 and mine was a 7. Somebody got all of our credit information mixed up and for years I tried to get it straightened out. And last time that it happened, I got the email notices that somebody has been looking into my credit and it wasn't anything that I did. I sort of picked the ball up and Laura from LifeLock helped me. She got a hold of the guy from Experian and was able to get all of that deleted or changed. So, for the last 13 years or more, I had somebody else's credit on mine and now it's gone. So, she's really helped me a whole lot and I appreciate it.
Someone also tried to steal my identity and spoofed my charge card. I talked to another rep at LifeLock who was as helpful as Laura was and she saved me from having to deal with all the backlash from having my credit card number stolen. She gave me a lot of tips as to who to contact and how to go about shutting down everything. She even reminded me of a few places online that I might not have remembered to get my credit card re-signed and I wrote all those down. I was able to get all that changed and it has made a huge difference.
So, LifeLock's reps went over and above what I expected, helped me get everything taken care of, and it didn't take a whole long time at all. They were also easy to get in touch with and if they said they were gonna call back, they actually did it when they said they were going to. Nobody else does these days. They've always been very professional and friendly, too. They're the best and I would never leave them. My LifeLock account has more than paid for itself in the three years that I've had it. My husband hasn't had to do anything with his but I've had to use mine a couple of times and it's been a pleasure.

I’ve heard of LifeLock from friends, saw it advertised, and I was aware that it had a huge market share. They had the best reputation. My identity was stolen and they’ve helped tremendously. I got hit probably 25 times with fraudulent credit card accounts that the criminals tried all sorts of things with. And in each case, LifeLock was able to alert me within hours. When that happened, they got on the phone with me to these various places and helped me get these things straightened out. It’s the best and I can’t ask for more. I’ve already told several of my friends and based on my experience with identity theft, they’ve gone out and signed up, too.

I was a victim of identity theft in the past. LifeLock was recommended by Rush Limbaugh so I signed up with them. They are a great company and when I had a problem, they did what they said they were gonna do. They identified situations that occurred that I wouldn’t normally be aware of and helped in notifying the bureaus. Then they called me and connected me directly with the vendor, which in this case was Capital One, and solved the problem right there and then. And I didn’t have to do anything more. LifeLock also identified options that I had, like freezing my credit for 90 days or putting alerts on it. While I could have figured things out eventually, it would taken an enormous amount of time. LifeLock made the process easy, plus, their team was excellent and very professional.
