    I am a member of LifeLock. During January 2016 I received a credit alert from them. Upon investigation it was determined that two applications for credit cards had been made. One of which was approved and the card had been issued and the other had been disapproved. LifeLock took action to resolve the problem, making sure that my credit was still intact and the issued card was cancelled.     For several months... actually over a year, I have had difficulty adding and/or maintaining banking connections to the protected accounts. Each time I seek help with LL, it is a frustrating experience. This is not due to agent helping but the fact that nothing ever gets resolved.     LifeLock is so good at their business. I was alerted to a possible fraudulent Checking/Savings account opening using my social security number and other identity information within hours of the account setup. I responded immediately and within days we had conference calls with the Bank, also the Credit Bureau and the accounts were in process of being investigated and closed. We also had a 90 day alert for all the Credit Bureau's setup and an FTC (Federal Trade Commission) ID Theft Affidavit completed which will extend the Credit Bureau Alerts to 7 years. Plus the FTC has also offered free services to further help protect my identity. Life Lock also immediately released to me an Insurance claim form to recover any losses incurred during this process.

    The LifeLock response process was extremely fast and thorough and prepared for any foreseeable consequences. But the greatest of all was the professionalism of the Specialists who helped me on the phone, via emails and texts and the folks behind the scenes who develop the technology and apply it to the Life Lock system management process. I responded back that it wasn't me and they notified the appropriate company not to make the loan.     When I first opened the accounts for my husband and I your company would call us whenever I tried to open an account. Now I never get a phone call and very few alerts by email/text.     I was notified that a credit card was applied for with just my social security number. No name or Date of Birth.     My last dealing with LifeLock was simply to change my password. Other than dealing with a stubborn machine, the task was accomplished successfully but it wasn't as simple as I thought it should have been. On several attempts in providing my chosen password (which received a high rating on feedback); when trying to activate the new password it was rejected by the machine program given that all the prerequisites were met. It took several attempts, always ensuring all the proper requirements were properly met that the machine finally accepted my choice.     I've been with LifeLock for a few years now. What I like the most is how they protected my cards over the banks. The banks say they can protect your cards. They say similar to LifeLock. Don't listen to the banks. They are wrong. I just went through a bad experience with bank with their fraud division. Even after I answered all the bank's security questions they still did me so very wrong.

    With LifeLock when you say yes it was you and answer the security questions they are very kind and just say, "Thank you." But the bank think they own you and your money. The bank will cut off your account and not tell you. The banks are rude people but LifeLock are always kind. They had never cut me off. In fact if I am ever confused about something LifeLock is very good with explaining things to you if you have a question about your account. LifeLock, you always get someone on the phone. They don't give you the runaround like banks do. I've had many bad experiences but with LifeLock I feel so secure that no one will steal my identity again. I almost became homeless because someone stole my identity in my past. If you value your identity and your money then get LifeLock. They really are a peace of mind. I now can rest at night knowing I have LifeLock.

    While I understand the need for protection of my personal information, I have found out that if you do not live in a large city and do not bank at one of the 8,000 banks in the data bank of LifeLock, you might not have all of your financial information protected with this enhanced product as you thought you would after all. I have been trying for months now to get my bank inserted into this database and, yes it is a small bank in a sparsely populated area of our country, but it would really have been nice if these restrictions had been made known to a prospective customer before they paid the extra monies for the enhanced product. I do understand that I am trusting the people at my bank and at LifeLock to get the necessary paperwork processed for this connection, so I guess this is just a classic case of buyer beware.
