My veterinarian recommended that I start feeding my dog Nutro Ultra Senior Dry Dog Food about a year ago. It seems to have made quite a difference in my dog's overall health, plus, she no longer has super smelly farts as she did with other, cheaper brands. I like that it is made of all natural products and is specifically made for older dogs. It has no gluten, wheat or protein and it has glucosamine, which is great for my dogs joints. The only thing that I really dislike about the Nutro Senior Dog Food is that it's so darn expensive. Sometimes, I forego buying myself the healthy food I need in order to be able to afford Nutro Senior Dog Food for my dog.

I made this choice because it seemed like a fair decision since it said grain free and was a decent price range for what I was looking for at that time. A lot of dog foods are not grain free and that is not something I want for my dog. But I still think they could do better in terms of the ingredients because there are still some better foods out there but they are more expensive, and sometimes I don't feel like I can spend that much on brands such as Blue Buffalo.

Nutro High Protein-Grain Free: Quality seems to be greater than other brands. I feel like my dog really prefers the taste of this product over other brands that we've tried feeding him in the past. My pet loves to eat it and I really enjoy feeding to him. I also like the product design and branding. Price could be a little more reasonable as I have a very large Lab that requires quite a lot of food on a monthly basis. I'm willing to pay for the high quality though over other cheaper brands. When I initially purchased, the dog food was on a great sale and so I gave it a try. My pet has loved it ever since so it's not that big of a deal.

Original Formula - Our dog is getting up in age and this product was recommended by our veterinarian. Senior brand of dog food has met our expectations, and more importantly, our dog enjoys it. I chose to purchase Nutro Grain Free because I thought the price was cheap and it could provide the nutritional value these two dogs need to help them grow bigger!! The ingredients in it are edible for them to digest!! The flavoring is kind of boring and not too many selections to switch up for my two dogs!! Also, the size of the food could be more worthy I think.

Without a doubt Nutro grain free dog food definitely has met, in fact, more than met my initial expectations. I originally chose Nutro dog food for its premium quality and flavor, it also came in grain free option which is so important as my dog has itching and an allergy to grain products. It is made with natural ingredients. My dogs seem to really like the chicken grain free variety and in fact is one of the few flavors they will eat. With a premium brand they do not need to eat as much either as it is not filled with empty calories. The price is the only area that could be improved upon. It's a little expensive. We were switching our pitbull to Nutro Wild Frontier and as soon as we switched he started throwing up yellow bile in the middle of the night/early morning. He did this for several nights until we saw complaints/reviews on here of the same thing happening to other dogs. We switched him back to his old food immediately and the problem went away. I would not recommend this food to anyone, especially after reading other reviews and seeing the other nightmarish stories from other dogs who experienced negative things from eating Nutro.

I figured this brand (Nutro Lite & Weight Management) would be more productive in helping manage my dog's intake and weight gain. He was on a steroid for bad skin allergies at the time, and the medicine made him eat a lot more than he normally would. Thankfully this food helped him eat less, feel full, and not gain as much weight or at least not gain MORE weight in fat (more muscle). My dog (Shih-Tzu/Lhasa Apso mix) seemed to really enjoy it, and it definitely helped him keep full and stop going to his food bowl so often. More filling food = less consumed, less weight gained. He was happy, so I was happy! He even seemed more excited to eat this food compared to his normal brand. As long as my little guy is happy and healthy, that's all that matters to me! I would recommend it to anyone that wants to moderate their dog's intake and weight gain for the sake of their health. I actually HAVE recommended it to a few friends, and they seem to like it as well.

Nutro's High Protein-Grain Free is ONE of the closest to total grain free I have been able to find when I was originally looking for it and am still looking for low-cost total grain free no by-products meal of any type and use more pumpkin, sweet potato, blueberry. Still use rice and type of flour which is not grain free flour, is made of some type of grain and or by-product meal so short of feeding my dog RAW food is only way to give him proper nutrition. Unknown why companies think grain free has to be $50+ for feeding our pets correctly as if we won't eat it. Why should our pets?

My cat liked it so I also purchased it for my dog and other cat, the wet food looks good enough to eat myself and I like all the varieties. I like that it has natural ingredients, limited ingredients and good for my dog. I am really concerned about fillers. Also, I would like to be able to buy it in more place like a grocery store or a warehouse store instead of just Petco or PetSmart or Pet Supermarket.

My friend gave me the food one day to give to buster and he really likes it. He prefers wet food so I was surprised that he took to it. My dog is really picky by the way so I was surprised. Nutro Ultra dog food (Original Formula) is a high quality product and a good investment for my dog. Louie the beagle is an overly loved (read spoiled) dog. He did enjoy the Nutro Ultra Chicken flavor for small dogs. In all honesty my recent purchases of Nutro Ultra Dog Food were due to coupons available on coupons.Com. More, better, and bigger incentives would promote a large customer loyalty base. My only dislike about Nutro Ultra Dog Food is the price and availability in retailers. I would really like to continue to purchase Nutro Ultra for Louie the beagle.

Nutro Grain Free Dog Food was recommended to me by my dog's vet. I had a list of 3 foods and Nutro seemed to be a good one for my dog's needs but if it doesn't taste good a dog won't get any of the benefits from the food. I liked the grain free option for my dachshund as he has stomach problems and has already had kidney stones removed when he was 5 years old, he is now 7. I like foods that have natural ingredients but also ingredients which are good for my dog. But, I am assuming the flavor was not good because my dog refused to eat it. I tried for over two weeks and nothing changed. Possibly more flavor should be added to the recipe to entice dogs to eat food that is good for them.

The Nutro Dog Food has a good smell and look plus my 4 dogs can't get enough of it to eat. Their poop is less and doesn't turn to mush or diarrhea. The size of the pieces could be larger and different shapes for different breeds of dogs because some shapes make my boxer throw up and to stimulate my dog's eating to reduce boredom. Nutro is one of my choices for the dog food I purchase for my four dogs to eat because of its nutrition and it meets my standards to a medium level but I actually like Pro Plan much better.

Nutro (High Protein-Grain Free) is all natural dog food. It is better than the low quality dog food that you buy at the big box stores. I really like the ingredients in the dog food and that it is fresh. It helps keep my dog healthy and that makes me and my family happy. But it does have some filler foods in it to make up weight. I also dislike that I generally cannot get coupons for this brand of food but it has worked well for my pet and will continue to use it despite these issues.

Nutro Original Formula has healthy ingredients, like real chicken or lamb and whole grains. I like the variety of grains and real products good for my dog. But I prefer the real chicken for my dog. I have never fed him lamb. Just beef or chicken. I watch the ingredients so carefully and it is one of my top 5 I choose to purchase for Dexter. It is easy to store. Food for every stage of a dog's life. It has a good price for the quality of food for any dog. I would rather spend a little more to know he is getting the best quality of dog food.

The Nutro brand has fulfilled these need. It's grain free and also is high protein which I like for my little fellow. I feel these are best for my dog to keep him happy and healthy for a long, long time. It is at a reasonable price to purchase as well. It is a high quality dog food that my dog likes.
