I've tried many brands but my dog can be very picky. When I tried the Nutro brand my dog actually liked it so this is the brand I'm currently use. Also my dog tends to put on weight so I use Nutro Lite & Weight Management dog food. It really helps control my dogs weight problem, which can lead to other health problems. I'm personally would like to see individual portion controlled packets based on the dog weight and breed, some dogs will eat everything in sight and I believe every pet owner should always keep an eye on their pets weight, so I think pet food manufacturers should keep that in mind.

I like that it has a high level of protein and that it contains no grain fillers. I also like that my dog likes the taste, texture, and smell of the product. It appeared to be a more nutritious choice for my dog and the flavors were appealing. My initial expectations have been met because my dog likes the food and it is good for him. But I would like to see more sales or coupons offered or an overall drop in the base price of it.

I feel that the Nutro Dog Food Original Formula is much more reliable with reputation for having natural ingredients and great tasting flavors than other brands. My dogs seem very happy when I buy this brand and if my dogs are happy I am happy. I am a fan of natural food so I like that it's natural. I also like that it is high in protein as well. And the flavors range are very good. Overall a great brand to buy. However, I think the meat sizes are kinda small which makes you have to portion larger amounts. My dogs really like Nutro High Protein-Grain Free. It was highly recommended by my veterinarian as well as a couple family members. I like that it is grain free and has a lot of proteins in it. I have big dogs and they have big appetites and a lot of energy. It also improves their coats making it shiny and much more manageable. It is well worth everything its costs as well. I would really like it though if they added more variety such as lamb and cheese or beefy stew flavor for instance. Also maybe they can make a gravy formula. I liked the size of the pieces of the Nutro Wild Frontier but I didn't like how dry it was. It should be moistened and somewhat soft to the touch with real meat inside not artificially flavored chunks. Also should have real vegetables inside with multi vitamins and protein. Me and my dog are not satisfied with this product. We are very unhappy. The meat was artificial and the veggies were also too dry, maybe old and stale. I purchased this brand because I saw a commercial about it but my dog didn't really like it. He flipped his bowl over and refused to eat it for three days. I would like my money back.

It's the most expensive of the same high quality competitors. The kibble size and shape is inconsistent as well. It looks different every time I buy a new bag. But I think is a great product and my dogs love it.

They also have a good variety of flavors and meats, chicken, beef, fish, no byproducts. I’m pretty happy with Nutro Dog Food, though they’re a little pricey. They could improve on lower prices, more deals, discounts, etc.

Very good product and dog seemed to like the flavor. But should be made for small breeds with smaller pieces. I think I also had to purchase a larger bag than I would have liked.

I am really glad they had the promotion that day because I might not have taken a chance on the product at the MRSP as it does cost a lot more than leading brands. However I do realize that the ingredients in this blend are very costly compared to corn rice etc so in turn cost more at retail.

We have two large Cane Corso dogs and it seems to satisfy them. The Lite & Weight Management product is advertised for large breeds and states that it includes wholesome essentials complete Dairy Nutrition, good grain, and non-GMO ingredients which I am sure is much healthier. They added rice to the lamb flavor which I know is especially appealing to our dogs. Wish the bag was not a heavy 50 lb bags. It would also be nice if they offered incentives on discounts maybe by UPC labels or something of that sort because it is expensive to feed two large breed dogs and the food does not last very long even in the 50 lb bag size.

My friends told me to give Nutro Lite & Weight Management a try and I am glad that I did. My dog loves it now. It's easy for her to eat and she doesn't have to have it watered down when I get it dry like most dog food. She is a picky eater but she will eat this dog food like it's the last thing she will eat. Recently after the product packaging change, two of my four dogs had skin issues, vomiting and general issues of lethargy. Since I was unaware of the change in formula I excluded everything else in trying to find the culprit. I have tried many brands and Boo loves the salmon and it's good for her. Boo Boo like fresh and as time goes by with bag falling apart it get stale!! I would like the resealable bags to work better!! There are few other things on proteins, meat etc. Price is little higher and if anything can be done with the prices, that will be helpful and more comfortable. I have tried other brands which are cheaper but my dog likes this brand and likes to eat their products.

It's specifically formulated for small breed senior dogs and it's easy for my dog to eat, but I wish it came in a smaller package and was less expensive... I realize 5 lbs isn't considered large. However, my dog only weighs 6 pounds and it takes him a while to eat a whole bag. I worry it might become stale and lose the freshness.

I was feeding our dogs Rachael Ray but then Nutro came out with the grain free high protein then my dogs have really seemed to enjoy the taste completely and act healthier. I love the natural ingredients that add to his health, then the high protein to send it over the top. But I wish the package was different. I would like to see a resealable bag to keep it fresher and longer but the food itself is perfect.

We had another brand recommended by our vet but Iams quit producing that particular brand. We asked our vet and based upon her recommendation we selected the current Nutro max brand and formulation (Grain Free). We like the packaging in the 25 pound bags since we have two greyhounds and they eat a lot. We just started using it and the dogs really like the mini chunk dog food for adult dogs. But we have had a hard time locating a reliable supply until we checked with Chewy. We now get a steady supply twice a month. Also, the 25 pound bags are hard to handle.

Nutro Dog Food has a Toy Breed version with smaller kibble that works for my chihuahua. The formula has the right distribution of protein and fats. My local pet store carries this brand and often has coupons. It is not overpriced and my dog seems to like it. My dog has done well on this brand. I wish though that it was sold in even smaller packages since it becomes stale so quickly that my dog won't eat it after it has been opened more than 2 weeks. I would also like it if there was a smaller size container of moist food to supplement the dry mix.

I was exposed to Nutro Farm's Harvest for while and also bought through year. My dog likes the food and when I gave a different food with my pet they didn't eat it as well than Nutro food. The size of the kibbles work for my pet, it contains good vitamins and omega 3 and always provide what I want in a dog food. Nice packaging than other brands, easy to find and always in stock at my local pet store. But need little bit more variety and the price has got up a little bit through years but it's not a huge issue with me because the quality of the food has gone up.

The first bag went great but when I went to buy the next bag it was different. I thought it was just a bag change but they must have changed the formula too. Even though Nutro is somewhat more affordable it is still out of reach for many consumers. Nutro was initially a better option for selection & price than other similar brands. But I now find it generally on the same plane with most other brands & will use the brand that is the lowest cost grain free option at the time of purchase. I have a picky dog, so it is actually good to mix it up lest he get bored as well.

My dog liked the switch to lamb for a change which I bought with the generous coupon. I get small breed kibble that is just the right size for Daisy and I like the idea of farm raised chicken. Daisy likes sweet potato. It has a fresh aroma and Dog seems happy with her food. Also, Daisy's bowel movement is firm and regular and she is in good health. Nutro meets her needs, she likes it, and has met my expectations.

Nutro's Wild Frontier looked appetizing and our dog seemed to enjoy it. The food looked like quality, description on the sack was informative and the packaging was creative showing images of what is included but I think I would want to see more meat looking pieces… It all looks just like crunchy balls… If veggies I would like to see what the veggies are or fruits and let them be the real thing. I felt like this was a superior, high quality brand of dry dog food - our Sheltie seemed to like the food and the nuggets were not large which is good.

Nutro Dog Food has all natural real ingredients with no GMO or extras and no grain. They're real meats and veggies and made from a company that are experts on health need of dogs. It would be awesome though if they could design an easier type of packaging maybe a type of bucket with a handle that could be carried. Nonetheless, they have met my expectations. My dog loves it and she is very picky. The price is a little high compared to some of the other brands but the quality is great. The variety of dog foods is also great, and there are different formulas for whatever you feel your dog needs. I also believe it's been recommended by veterinarians. Nutro makes a quality healthy product for dogs of all sizes.

I buy grain free Nutro because my dog has had surgery on his ear because of yeast overgrowth caused by allergy to grain and corn causing yeast. My vet recommended it. I can tell a big difference since Boomer started on Nutro. He no longer itches and his skin problems have decreased significantly. Nutro has been a lifesaver for my Boomer. I wish I would have found Nutro before Boomer had surgery on his ears the second time. Also, I wish Nutro would make more grain free products such as treats, meatballs, chews,etc. I would buy anything Nutro would make that is grain free. It's really hard finding quality grain free foods and treats for dogs. I can't find anything especially in canned or wet food.

Original Formula - We use Nutro Dog Food because our vet recommended it and it has met my expectations. I like that it specializes in old dogs and good nutrition. It is also easy to find. While I’m buying toys and stuff for all my pets I can pick up dog food at the same time. It also comes in very big bags that lasts all month long. But I would like to see the food softer but not wet. We have an old dog and sometimes it is hard for him to eat. I would also like to have a brand line that helps dogs gain weight. As our dog is older he has a problem keeping on weight.
