My 11 y/o German Shepherd Dog was really slowing down. He only walked once daily, did not play anymore and went to bed at 7 pm. After two days of Fromm lamb, I walked him 3 times. I adopted Vinny when he was 8 y/o. He was also abandoned and heartworm positive so I was not used to a very playful dog. After we got healthy, we went for a long walk once daily and two or three shorter ones. Time passed as it will and he started getting slower in his movement. His hind legs were beginning to give out and I was searching for a pill that would make him live for at least 10 more years. I know he had already lived a little longer than some of my other GSDs, but after he was not eating anything.

Quality food that dogs like. Can be helpful for dogs with sensitivities. The human at the store even snacks on it. Real ingredients and different lines to accommodate your needs. Good fish options, so you can get those benefits too.

Tried a lot of brands in the last 5 months since adopting our picky eater Golden Doodle. This is the only brand he consistently eats and it is affordable. I have tried some very expensive foods but will stick with Fromm.

We have a 10 year old German Shepard. The breeder and trainer both recommended Fromm when he was a puppy. That is all we have ever used. Recently our Vet convinced us to switch him to a high end Purina kibble. Disaster! He lost 10 lbs in 6 weeks. His coat looked like crap and he was having 4-5 very loose stools a day. When we took him back to vet, they didn’t believe this was from the feed. We changed him back to Fromm. We added a little more protein in the form of eggs and chicken and added a probiotic. He is doing great! Took him back to vet 2 weeks later, he had gained 6 lbs and his stools are normal again. NEVER will we change his feed again!!! Keep up the great work! All future dogs will be Fromm Dogs!

My 2-year-old giant Schnauzer has been eating Fromm brand since birth. I am in the petconomy business and recommend Fromm to all of my customers. I just came across a second bag of bad dog food. This is absolutely unacceptable. The first bag that was spoiled last year I received no response from the company. I also received no response from the store where I purchased at Hollywood Feed.

I’ve been a loyal customer to Fromm since I brought my gsd home 5 years ago. Recently, I purchased 2 bags of food. After opening the first bag, I noticed something was severely off with this bag of food. The smell was quite rancid; the best way to describe it is moldy, dirty socks, but worse. Thinking it was just a bad bag, I opened the second to find the same putrid smell. After doing more digging and finding similar recent reviews, I see that this is an issue that is more than just a bad batch. Something has changed with the Fromm formulation for the worse, and I simply cannot risk feeding my dog something that makes me sick to my stomach just to smell. The lack of response and accountability from the Fromm Team to multiple customers, is beyond something able to overlook; this is not a brand I can continue to support.

We’ve been feeding this to our golden retriever by recommendation of breeders as a premium dog food. We purchased a new bag from PetSense in High Springs, FL and upon opening was hit by an extremely pungent odor that is not the usual smell associated with the product. Thereafter for the next week our poor dog proceeded to have severe diarrhea. We discontinued the food after two days and have been feeding a bland blend since. Upon further inspection of the food, some of the bits had some find of small white particles clustered on the food. Reading other recent reviews there appears to be an obvious problem.

We currently have three German Shepherds and have feed this particular food for around 20 years to all our dogs. The last two bags I have gotten smell rancid or sour. My husband described it as yeast(y). I returned the first bag but upon opening its replacement, it had the same smell just not as strong (yet). The whole family thinks it's such an off putting smell while it's in their bowls. I don't know what's going on with the food as this has never been a problem before and we have always loved this food for our dogs. I'm wondering if their manufacturing experienced a humidity problem. I'm hoping this won't be a continuous issue or we will have to look for an alternative.

After opening a recent delivery of Fromm dog food, I was immediately hit with an overpowering, rancid smell. My husband suggested it might be due to being shipped in the summer heat, so I hesitantly fed some to our dog. Shortly after eating it, he became sick—a clear sign that something was very wrong. The smell of the food only got worse over time, and it became undeniable: the food was spoiled and completely unfit for consumption. For the record, we store our pet food in a cool, temperature-controlled room, so storage conditions were not the issue.

This is a customer service review and one product review. We are happy w/ FROMM wet dog food and dry. We've been using them for years and our vet approves. HOWEVER, customer service is difficult. I order direct to save money and they are incapable of crediting payment when a VALID promo code for some reason did not apply. I ordered treats for the very first time because the promo code required they be purchased w/ wet and dry food. I received them yesterday 11/7/2024 and they are NOT at all soft. In fact they are very hard. I wrote to FROMM and I'm jumping thru hoops over an $8.00 bag of treats. Pics of bag and I added a video to prove they were bricks!! They also requested I save they in case they want them back! Ok sure no problem, but I requested a prepaid USPS label so I can leave for our mail carrier. It's unfortunate CHEWY.COM does not carry this product line.. They have the BEST customer service.
