I have been a Freshpet consumer for many years. My dogs are now older and I use Sensitive Stomach and Skin formula and recently notice big chunks of fat in the rolls...I am concerned that the quality has declined. I have begun using the Senior food formula which seems to be void of this issue. While I will continue to feed Freshpet to my two dogs I do think there is a quality issue with the Sensitive Food formula.

I almost bought this today for my cat until I read the ingredients and see you add GARLIC powder - this is TOXIC to cats. No wonder so many digestive issues for cats on various websites (I found after returning from store having not purchased). How can a pet food company be adding this ingredient to CAT targeted food??

Although my dogs love Freshpet, after 6-7 months they started developing stomach and skin issues. After several visits to the vet and changing their food to “Sensitive Stomach” they continue having diarrhea and throwing up. Looking at the ingredients, my vet said the only one that what cause those issues is CARRAGEENAN!! Why would carrageenan be added to food for sensitive stomach when it causes bloating, diarrhea, gut inflammation, skin rashes and more?? Please remove Carrageenan from their food, it’s only a food filler not part of healthy nutrition.

My Oreo loves the food. The cost of hard food was expensive and there $18 Freshpet food stays about 2 weeks. And I sometimes put it in the microwave which he loves as well. I leave it in the refrigerator not freezer. I wouldn’t mine paying more for a bigger loaf.

This food made my dogs sick!!! It had freezer burn. I contacted the company by email several times. All they did was cancel my subscriptions. This tells me a lot about the company. THEY ARE NOT TRUSTWORTHY!! BEWARE. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!

I feed FreshPet to my 12 year old English Cocker. He really likes it. But if you expect what you feed your pet to look like what they show on TV you will be disappointed: missing are most if not all of the Misc. colored items you see in the bag, the green, veggies, the grains the which is true for ALL the bags I have ever purchased.

My dog loves this food. Even with an obstacle bowl, he eats it pretty quickly. His coat is shinier, he’s super energetic and the gastrointestinal issues he had before are gone. You can tell that he absolutely adores the taste as compared to kibble. He’s running around with no signs of joint issues or fatigue. (He’s 15 years old!) This is the one!

We are very happy with the Freshpet products we buy for our Labradoodles. It took a while to find something that they would eat and it does not mess up their stomach. Once we started feeding them freshpet everything changed for them almost overnight. Happier dogs with satisfied tummies. Fresh pet is a little pricey, but well worth for my puppies. Coupons would be nice..

We have tried all of the Freshpet products, in the roll form. Angel loves the Beef the best, although she eats all of them. Our only complaint is that we live 65 miles to the nearest store that carries the Fresh Pet, and sometimes they are out of product. We usually get 2 or 3 rolls when available. Yes, there are still areas in our country, that are over an hour to the nearest Walmart.

I’ve been a customer for years now… for my 2 'lil rascals, Roscoe a parson terrier and my cutie pie Roxie a maltipoo. They love love their Freshpet chunky beef recipe… I buy them at walmart because.. it’s less expensive…. I am on fixed income so I always see to it that they always have their food before I ran out of money. 😘 Thank you guys…

I don't have an order number, I purchase this at Giant and Acme. I have 1 90 lb dog and 1 25 lb dog, I have to buy 2 big logs every week. It's kind of expensive for me. But they like it and I think this product is made in usa so I'm ok with it.

This is the only food my dog will eat. I have tried way more expensive food but she turns her nose up. The saying a dog will eat when it gets hungry enough is not true because my dog would not eat! I had used Freshpet before so I found a supplier and tried it and now I have not looked back. Sometimes I mix it with ground turkey or chicken to keep her interested. Thanks you making a delicious dog food.

The food is excellent, Jenny loves it, and it seems to be doing well for her. My only problem is the packaging. The “suggestion” of squeezing the servings out of the bag doesn’t work for me. I need to cut the bag open, which borders on impossible and has caused two knicks with the scissors.

Poor dog got diarrhea so bad for a couple of day. Had a mess to clean. Your chicken dog food was not good and the last time she was making all kinds of noises like she had something stuck in her nose or was allergic to the food. Lots of people tell you don’t give that to your dog. I know you are getting lots of complaining but you dog will get nothing.

We are finding bone fragments and feathers in the food. We have 7 dogs. We use 3-4 loaves a week. When I complained your company sent us 3-1 dollar coupons. BIG DEAL. I’m in brick NJ. WE SPEND 60 to 80 dollars a week on the food. We are differently looking for a new dog food.

Jett is 16 years old and has digestive issues. He has gone through many types of dog food including Purina Pro Plan, Farmer's Dog and now Fresh Pet. He has had problems with everything before Fresh Pet. He has done well so far but he does not enjoy the chicken complete nutrition as much as he used to. He still loves the beef.

My Marley loves Fresh Pet, she only will eat this and the vet says keep her on it and I will. She is a Maltese and weighs 6 lb and her health is very important to me. I have tried other dog food but it wasn't anything like Fresh Pet.

My Remi, a Great Pyrenees, is a rescue and HW positive and a little picky on what she eats. As she continues to get stronger and healthier, we have been pleased to see how well she eats the Fresh Pet food that we offer her. She has been known to pick out the veggies we offer her but not a piece of her FreshPet food goes untouched.

I used to buy Fresh Pet for many years when I had my dog. Recently my son-in-law had a stroke and his family adopted a cat for him to help with his anxiety, her name is Nola. It's a bit expensive but I buy Freshpet cat food for her and she loves it. I am curious as to why Fresh Pet only has one food option for cats?

We are usually very satisfied with FreshPet. My only complaint is that we can’t buy the large logs anymore, which are more cost effective, because they go bad so quickly. So that’s disappointing. However, the small logs work well and our labradoodle, Apollo, seems to love FreshPet and is always so excited for his meals.

I buy in store, we live in a rural area and do not have delivery out here. I prefer to go into to town every few weeks and get what we need. My beloved Gizmo passed but I get for some of neighbors who are in need and can not drive.

I have had at least four bags get extremely puffy. I Googled it and your site said it was bacteria in the product. The purchases have all been made at Walmart so the problems could have occurred with transport or at the store. I have decided not to purchase it any longer. When the product was good, my dogs really enjoyed it.

Have been giving my pup FreshPet for about 1 1/2 years now and we absolutely love it! Her coat is softer and has really helped keep her weight down. We use the 6lb roll of the turkey or chicken with the brown rice and veggies. The quality is always consistent. FreshPet is the only choice for us.

Our pups love Freshpet. I love the delivery of the food. I love they tell me how much to feed them. Has made my life easier. We used to have run to the store when we were low on food, now I just check and make sure I am getting a shipment soon, or stop for a week and have it arrive when I am on my last two bags. Great deal! Great food!

I had to stop using your product because several times the variety without chicken was not available. Also several times I found mold in packages I bought. I could no longer chance my pups with allergies to try to buy your product. I switched to another company I feel more confident purchasing for my pups.

Lately the rolls that I've been buying have an odd smell like they are spoiled. All the rolls were purchased at Walmart. They had a pretty good date but smelled bad when opening. Some of it was slimy when opening and sort of discolored. I will not feed my dogs anything that doesn't smell or look right. These rolls are too expensive to buy and just have to throw away.

11 years ago, when I adopted a 2 year old Shih tzu and a lab mix puppy, I knew that I needed to find a food for them that wouldn't cause skin problems and would be good for them. I had skin issues with a my previous fur baby that I had tried different foods on, but nothing worked. So I saw FreshPet and thought that I'd give it a try. I mean why not, I had tried everything else. They loved it! Now, 11 years later, my shih tzu (Baby) has lost most of her teeth and is will be 13 this year and my lab mix, (Bella) is 11 and they still eat Fresh Pet daily. They have no skin issues, their coats are shiny and they are still happy dogs.

My dog Lou has been eating fresh pet for at least 7 years now. He will not eat anything else! The log mixed with chicken/ turkey bits with all the veggies does the trick! He also loves your treats! Love your products, I’d like to see some coupons.. Spending about 40 a month, takes its toll.. A little help would be nice..

I buy all my Freshpet products at my local Pet Supplies Plus.store. They have an excellent refrigerator and have always found Vital and Beef and chicken roll to be completely fresh. My cat loves both. I am of the school of thought that fish is potentially harmful to a cat's endocrine system leading to hyperthyroidism. Freshpet does NOT include fish as cheap fillers in their foods. I am so delighted. My cat loves both the Egg, Spinach and Chicken Vital, and the Chicken/Beef roll. I sometimes add Landmark chicken (grain and fish free) and Tiny Tiger Turkey (grain and fish free) to his beef roll for variety, but your products are the main foundation for his diet. Please know my niece has two labradoodles. After telling her about Freshpet, they are now eating only Freshpet in their diet.

Good food, but expensive!!! I use it to supplement kibble dog food. Too expensive to feed solely alone. Wish it was cheaper but don’t know what to do about it. I buy at the grocery store and kind of guess how much to feed. Overall it’s good but at 21.00 a loaf that’s a lot.

Both my dogs love Freshpet Small Dog small bites beef and egg food. My issue with the product; however, is the size of the pieces. My larger dog weighs less than 15 pounds and my smaller dog weighs less than 5 pounds. They both eat so fast that occasionally they choke and vomit unchewed pieces. I would prefer smaller pieces that still pour out of the bag easily. I stopped feeding Just food for dogs because it is gooey and the clean up is more difficult.

Hi I'm leaving a comment, not a question. My dog Petey loves your food. I wrote to you a while back because a vet tech said that it was dangerous to give him fresh food in case it has salmonella, but your reassurance helped me decide to continue on with Fresh Pet as Petey has been more energetic and very, very happy with his meals.

My 2 little poodles love the chicken Freshpet with their hard blue buffalo. We have recommended fresh pet to several of our friends for their dogs. We usually buy the small tube for 3.99. Wish it came in different flavors than chicken. We have been using fresh pet for many, many years. The quality of it is superb and cannot be compared to other food. Actually, my dogs will not eat their hard food. If fresh pet is not on top of it. Thank you and keep up the good work with this type of food

Tender Chicken 1# roll. My Yorkshire Terrier loves it and no more loose bowels from dry kibbles. I highly recommend Freshpet for everyone’s dog. Easy to serve. Readily available at Walmart and now at Publix where I shop. 1/8 ounce in the morning and 2/8 in the evening is all I feed her and she has maintained her weight for about a year now

I have fed Bowie, my four year-old terrier mix, Freshpet since he was a puppy. I purchase the small breed turkey/chicken formula. He always is eager to eat it; he has not liked other brands. There have been a few times in the past, where consistency was mushy. I let your company know and was compensated with coupons to cover cost. Which I appreciated. I wish freshpet would also make a multi-grain small breed. Bowie is happy with your product and I will continue to purchase it.

My dogs love it and I feel like I am feeding them healthier than regular dog food. You can see the fresh veggies as you cut it. Only thing is I wish that it had fresh fruits as well. The cost could also be a little less, it's hard when you have multiple dogs. I end up splitting each slice and mixing it with regular kibble to offset the cost my relative do the same thing I do with their dogs. A salmon flavor would be nice as well. Because my one dog is sensitive to chicken. Just a little bit makes him itch.

I fed my last two dogs Freshpet. They both weighed 16 pounds or less, small dogs. They lived to be 16 years old. My current dog is 66 lbs. Freshpet in the last 1.5 years has gone up over 25%. Freshpet is cost prohibitive.

My dog loves it and I can't get the bag opened fast enough before she starts barking and doing her happy dance. Also I know that it's better than can food. When I open the bags the fresh smell is more of a fresh meat smell and it doesn't have that canned food smell which kind of gags me.

I have two dogs, and this is the only dog food they will eat. Freshpet looks and smells like human food. I feel good about feeding my dog Freshpet because it has a great mix fresh ingredients. I also buy the Freshpet treats for my dogs and they love them. Sometimes it is difficult to find Freshpet at the store because I think more and more people are realizing Freshpet is an excellent product for their dogs.

Freshpet is a great product. My pitbulls love it! We feel good feeding it to them. The only thing I would change is the price of the bagged food. A little cheaper would be nice or even a rewards program. My finicky eater has definitely been enjoying it. I also like the fact that they are getting fresh vegetables.
