I buy at Walmart and I have a 12 year old very picky eater. I bought different kinds for him to try. He loves the chicken blend. Is not crazy about the beef or braised chicken. Do wish they offered samples. As it is kind of expensive to try and your pet not like. Overall best move I made for my furbaby. Would love to receive coupons. Overall a great product.

I'm very happy that I can pick up FreshPet at my local Costco. I have four dogs and 6 lb bag is just right. Feeding fresh can be costly and prepping food from scratch is time consuming. With FreshPet, it's easier than ever! It's healthier, convenient and affordable. Most importantly, all of my dogs love it!

We have an 11 yr. old Greyhound that has been such a picky eater. I have had to cook chicken and turkey burgers for her and feed her by hand. She would not eat otherwise. I supplemented her food with other fresh/frozen foods she did not eat. Since starting her on Freshpet she eats independently from a bowl!

I buy Freshpet all the time. It's the only thing my dog is able to hold down and eat. I think your product is a godsend. The only problem is it is always out of stock at every Walmart and Kroger location in the district. If I could order it straight from your site that would be amazing. I will give you five stars but for now I will give you two.

I thought my pets would love it. I felt like a good pet parent especially after seeing commercials about no pet should eat dry kibble for every meal but my cat won’t touch it and it gives my 10 year old dog an upset tummy. I even tried different flavors and bought the kind specifically for small dogs. But they just don’t like it. I even tried giving it to them as a “special lunch”.

My dog loves Freshpet. He will not eat dry kibble. Seeing him eat his fresh pet makes me feel better than seeing him leave his dry food in his bowl and then begging for my food. I know now that he is getting the nutrients he needs. We will keep buying!

Bandit liked the first order, was a little blasé at the second order, and I cancelled before the third order was due. Since he wasn't eating it any better than other foods we were feeding him, we saw no advantage in using your product. So we saw no need to purchase anymore product.

My cat likes the food. He was diagnosed with Intestinal Bowel Disease, and the food seems to work well for him. I am still determining if the diet I am giving him is the best for this condition. Could you help me with that? Also, the smell is good. Thank you.

My doxie is a picky eater but loves this food! Easy to separate into meals, and doesn’t smell like dog food - almost smells tasty for humans! She has primarily moved to this food and loves the variety - I switch up between 3-4 flavors and she loves the surprise! Will continue to buy!

Our dog was constantly having ear problems and hated when we would try to put ointment in them. We would be cleaning his ears out every day. As soon as we switched to Freshpet, we only have to clean them maybe once a month and he is a much happier boy! Unfortunately we are running to different grocery stores to try to find stock of it. Hopefully with more demand the stock can go up to relieve us from going to multiples.

I have small dogs with no teeth or very many teeth. This food is perfect for them .Most of the time I buy the roll and cut in small pieces and my fur babies are happy. I buy the bag every so often and they like it too. But the roll is a better deal to me. I have been using this food for a long time.

I have two dogs - a senior Maltese and a 2 year old retriever mix. My Maltie has always preferred the cats' food, but it didn't always prefer her. She has been enjoying Freshpet for small dogs. My retriever mix girl has been different. While she has liked other dog foods, they definitely didn't like her - giving her red belly skin and sometimes diarrhea. I finally started making her food myself. Then I found Fresh Pet! So far, she likes every kind I give her with no skin irritation and no diarrhea like canned dog foods gave her. The cost is similar to what I spent making Fresh food for her myself, but without the fuss!

My 10 yro Border Collie is the healthiest he’s been in years! He was getting to where his teeth hurt so we tried Freshpet as a supplement. He loves it! He’s dropped weight and all of his fatty tumors have significantly shrunk. Just wish there were coupons or a frequent buyer program available.

There are several flavors. Mostly chicken. My dog can’t have chicken and that’s fine. I get it. I was getting her the beef and bison but it’s in the rolls only and I’m not the only one that has a hard time cutting it up between carpel tunnel and arthritis. You have the chicken brands in a ziplock bag in larger sizes. It would be nice if you did the other brands as well especially the chicken free products. Thank you. My puppies were on this food from birth. Their breeder sent them home on this food and I have continued. They seem to be thriving; however, my vet and other vet consultants recommend they not stay on a grain free food. I have been taking time transitioning them but I will..

I ordered this in hopes my pups would love it because I have been making them homemade food for quite some time and it's so time consuming! I have 3 dogs but one of them is the most picky eater so I do whatever I can in order to get him to eat. I also did some mail order food for a while but it was super expensive so then I found this and they ABSOLUTELY love it and I'm so excited!! It's so easy, I just ordered it on Chewy, it came frozen in dry ice, and I have a bag in my fridge now that I just scoop out every morning over their dry kibble and it's so so so simple and they love it! Thank you Fresh Pet for making something that is healthy and that my doggies love!

We tried home delivery services. She was rather picky and she had allergic reactions to one or more recipes. Freshpet is the first dog food BeBe LOVES. She looks forward to her meals and enjoys every bite. She even licks the bowl inside and out. No major food allergies. Yeah!

Our lab mix, Buzz, was very unenthusiastic about his food until we tried Freshpet. He goes after the fresh pet beef and chicken with wild abalon. He loves it. Our mini-labradoodle started to become picky about eating his dry kibble. He is just not food-driven. Our mini-sproodle eats anything and everything with no hesitation. So we purchased the Chunky Chicken & Turkey Recipe roll and started giving them each a little bit mixed in with their dry food. Both love it and now our picky eater doesn't require any coaxing! I wanted to start my 12 year old pups on a fresh diet and was not comfortable doing the delivery route. Freshpet has made things so easy, I can pick it up at my favorite grocery store when I need it! My picky Beagle, does a happy dance at meal time now because he loves the food so much. Thank you for this wonderful food.

I have repeatedly, for the past several months, attempted to locate HomeStyle Creations Chicken or Beef burgers, however, no store in New England has them either "in store" or online. FreshPet has repeatedly told me that they are available and are being manufactured, however, every store that I've been to, either personally, or online, is out of stock and has no idea when they will be getting a restock of the product. It is ridiculous. I can only surmise that FreshPet no longer makes the burgers, but is unwilling state that they no longer make them. It would be very helpful if FreshPet sold this product online for a change.

My Boston Terrier can be a finicky eater. He will quite literally put his nose in the air and wait until I find something he likes to consume. Like people food..99% of the time. Since I've started buying him Freshpet he now eagerly waits by his bowl in anticipation of food. It's wonderful! And I personally like that the smell of Fresh Pet is appealing to me as well. It doesn't have that pungent odor that most of the other dog food does.

I wanted to give our Socks something better than can food. The trainer we used for obedience classes used your treats so I thought we would try the food! Glad I did. Socks picks out the FreshPet first and then finishes out the dry food when he gets around to it. Thanks for making a quality product!

The food is good, my fussy beagle eats it well. She's not a huge fan of the chicken and turkey, but that's probably more her than the food. It would nice to have more advanced notice by email when the charge is going to hit rather than it being a surprise.

My 8lb dog will not consume a whole small roll within a week. The price when I started purchasing was only 3.99 now it's just under $5.00. Also if I pre cut it and wrap in bowls for some reason she won't touch it. I'd like to just purchase the shredded one and be done with it. Oz. Per oz. The roll is cheaper, however I throw away too much. On a budget.

I received a tube of bad food. The rep did say she was doing to replace it, sent me a coupon and then it wouldn’t work. I had to call back 2 more times to get it resolved. Obviously with the price you expect a quality product. Also the variety in my area is limited so I wish there was a different way to purchase.

I switched my 80/lb female German shepherd to Freshpet after we had an emergency vet visit for digestive issues. I was afraid she was bloating and might need surgery but her stomach just didn't like dry dog food. After she came home from the vet she still didn't want to eat so I bought her freshpet to entice her appetite. She LIKES freshpet. It agrees with her stomach and I've noticed she itches her paws and face less.

I started with Freshpet many years ago because chicken wasn’t listed as an ingredient in the beef option log for dogs. Now it’s listed and I can no longer use as my pet is allergic to chicken. I prefer not to do a no grain option and that is the only one that seems to have to chicken per ingredient list.

I love this food as a healthy treat for my dogs, even the cat loves it. The only issue I have is the expiration dates, not sure who stocks the display cases but I have learned to look closely. It appears nobody rotates the product. Thanks Freshpet for a very good product!!!!

We have a Doxon and a Walker Hound. We fed them Blue Buffalo prior to Freshpet. We do not regret switching. Our dogs love their new food. Our Doxon, who was very picky about his food, never leaves a piece behind and eats breakfast and dinner now. They seem to have more energy and their coats are soft and shiny. We will continue purchasing Freshpet for our fur babies.

The price is really expensive since I have three dogs and the food is only good for seven days. Although my dogs really like it I will have to find another option for them. I was using as a topper to save money but it still does not last long enough.

We switched to FreshPet from the Farmers Dog and couldn’t be happier. It’s a little less convenient but way more value. Duke our bluetickhound loves it and gets super excited for mealtimes. No digestive issues switching to this from Farmers Dog and Duke has a sensitive stomach diet for the last 10 years.

Had tried many "premium" pet foods and even the ones that develop a plan and ship to your home. All of which are very expensive and living on retirement income it isn't easy. Bought Freshpet at my grocery store refrigerated section, and she loves it. I mix it with a little kibble and she eats every bit. She remains healthy, energetic with no stomach issues.

My dogs love Freshpet. I have two dogs and one of them is extremely finicky, she eats every bite of the Freshpet twice daily and runs to eat it. Their coats have become so soft and shiny since starting them on Freshpet as well. I will definitely stick with feeding it to my pups even though it’s more expensive.

They need a small breed version of this. My pup is of the smaller variety and she unfortunately can't consume all of the bag before the recommended 7 days after opening. We have to cut it up into smaller chunks so she doesn't choke on it. But regardless she loves it and helps her gut run normally.

Pet owners beware! I have been buying this dog food for my dog for about one year as a supplement to her people food diet. Three days ago after a feeding we noticed her head bobbing slightly. She acted a little strange and we thought she was just tired. She slept most of the day. That evening, I fed her some chicken and supplemented it with this fresh pet dog food. Immediately after eating it, her head started bobbing again and she seemed off balance. She wouldn’t come to bed. She just wanted to lay on the couch. After about an hour, she came into the bedroom and started vomiting violently. Everything she ate that day came up and her whole body was having tremors.

I wish we can buy Freshpet online. My dog loves fresh pet. Wish there are coupons out there. Never can find the product. Always out in the stores, Walmart, Target, Stop N Shop. Please send coupons to the consumer. Also offer coupons to the consumer. I have a golden. He loves it. I mix it in with his dry. Thank you for the opportunity to write a review.

Unfortunately my dog would not eat it even though I mixed it with her usual food. Her previous owner spoiled her rotten! I’ve tried numerous other dog foods but to no avail so I thought Freshpet would be closest to the food she was used to. I do not know what to feed her.

I love the ingredients. I love how it comes in little balls it makes it easy on me to feed my dog. The quality of the food feels top tier. I have fed my dog Freshpet since she was a puppy and she absolutely loves it. I love that it's grain free. Every time I feed my dog Freshpet I feel good about myself as a pet owner because I don't feed her dry food. I believe dry food and kibble are bad for dogs.

It is hard to find the different flavors as they not located at all the stores. Puppy Food & Protein is only available at my local Albertsons, nowhere else. My dogs have to have protein & grain free, it is hard to find these. I have big dogs, as in 100lbs+, I have feed them big servings.

I’ve been buying Freshpet for about three years. That’s the only brand my dog will eat. I buy like seven rolls at a time, and I never had a problem with bad dates until like three months ago. One of my rolls were going to expired within two weeks of date I purchased. Forgot all about telling pet store. This time I pick up my order, get home and one rolls was going to expired in two days. And another one didn’t have a date in it. I hope the pet store will exchanged it with anoither one.

My 2 big dogs love the Multi-Protein food with chicken, beef, egg and salmon, that also has carrots. I especially like the convenience of FreshPet because I can chop it up and keep it in the fridge, ready to serve twice a day. I also add blueberries and fresh lettuce (they love crunchy iceberg lettuce).

Chico really enjoyed Freshpet, then he went off his food. We think that it was probably was the heat as our temperatures have been over 100 degrees. We're going to try again soon. Do you have coupons We can use to help with the costs?

I have 7 dogs and have difficulty getting food at times; This time had to wait 2 weeks and drove 5 miles each day looking! Would appreciate getting coupons as well! My dogs get excited when I tell them I am getting dinner ready! One of them twirl around, while another jumps up and down and the rest bark excitedly! I went and bought 12 and stored them in my freezer. Had no choice! I have told many people this is a good price and many have switched to your food! Bad move on my part! But want to see more dogs get good food!

"Breakfast sausages" - BOTH small and larger/slices - are our ONLY choices for our older 'puppy' (have been for years), and she INSISTS upon a small sausage. I also buy chicken cat treats for our neighbour's kitten - they are a hit also, and tho they feed DRY food, they (and kitten) enjoy our fresh soft addition.

Dissatisfied with Fresh Pet. My fur baby loves it but it leaves him with an odor over time as well as bad breath. I wish I could recommend this product but I am sorry I can't. I will not buy this product again. I am very dissatisfied.

The gal I spoke with was very helpful however the coupons I tried to print never worked and on my 2nd try it said already used when I really was never able to print to use. In future I would like coupons mailed. I was able to return the defective logs and get my money back. But would have liked to use the coupons.

My 2lb chihuahua only wants to eat Freshpet SMALL DOG Chicken & Turkey Recipe, (with cranberries & spinach). Except we live in a small desert town where Albertsons carries sometimes. I have difficulty finding it, online and everywhere else. Where can I get it? We’re getting low. Eva

I will note that I have had to personally direct other customers to your temporary location for past few weeks in our local store: it appears your refrigeration unit in pet foods is broken. They have a sign on door sending people to aisle #25 (frozen/ dairy) Wrong. Your products on on the bottom shelf of a refrigerator door end cap case. Good luck. My dog will only eat Freshpet dog food. We have tried other brands but she will only eat the shredded chicken recipe and the turkey jerky treats. She is in excellent health and weight is perfect. She is in great shape. I'm not sure what else to say. It's the only dog food we buy.

First off I do not have an order number. I find the quality and freshness of FreshPet to be outstanding. The wholesome ingredients have my two Australian Cattle Dogs excited for meals. I use the tubes of beef or chicken. I like the multi meat but the higher cost and smaller tube size is a put off. I do wish the company would make coupons or maybe a frequent buyers Club type of discount available. That being said I have been purchasing Fresh Pet since at least 2014. It was a lifesaver for my first ACD who, at 14, had oral bone cancer and had her lower right jaw removed. Being able to cut the Fresh Pet into sizes she could easily scoop up with her tongue helped immensely. She even gained a couple pounds back. We were able to have another amazing 6 months with her before she passed. I know the Fresh Pet helped contribute.

I would have given a Very Happy if I could get the variety my dog eats with consistency. Sure hope my local stores get more in soon. Would also love to see coupons for the rolls. My dog, after almost a month still does her crazy dance when I am prepping the food. Usually the dance ends after the first week.

Our little dog will not hardly eat anything, until we gave him Freshpet, He Loves it. He is a Chorkie, (Yorkie -Chihuahua). Very picky about food, He would eat a little bit of dry food, but very little, we worried about him. I recently adopted a 8 yr old Maltese (from an animal shelter--she was a breeder dog). The only food she likes is the "Food for small dogs" both pellet and loaf. It seems that when I try to buy, it cannot be found. Please advise as to what I may do.

Best food for my active dog, I bought it originally as a treat to go along with dry kibble but will no longer eat the kibble and will only eat the Fresh Pet, begs for it!!!! His coat is extra shiny now and am so glad that I decided to try this for him.

Very pleased with the product. Purchased multiple food products for our pup and she loves them all. She would not eat other wet food & the consistency of this food is exactly what she likes. Doesn’t like to get her face dirty. Food is of quality ingredients and smells good.

Our 14 year old pup loves your product. Unfortunately it is a little too expensive to have for only food every day so we use it as a topper. Normally I prepare her food myself, but it doesn’t always work out time wise. So we are glad your product is readily available locally.

Hi there, I'm a first time user of Freshpet, and I must say my dogs absolutely love it! I have a very picky eater and he is just ecstatic when it's time to eat. When they see me getting Freshpet out of the fridge, they both start whining with excitement.

I bought Freshpet for almost a year and decided it has come up to a ridiculous price. It’s gone from $9.00 to over $22 for the large size. So although a great product my dogs loved it, it’s way too much.

I purchased my Freshpet at the grocery store. My pug is 12 years old and she loves it. She isn’t a fan of the green beans. I find them on the floor. I switched to Freshpet because Lulu wasn’t eating her kibble. The Freshpet smells awesome and is easier for her to eat.

I rescued Rosa 3 months ago. She is a Cavalier King Charles 6 years old, she was a puppy mill momma and was no longer needed. Her ribs were showing, her hair was coarse and thin. She had 20 teeth pulled after I adopted her. I fed her Freshpet and the neighbors are so surprised on how good she looks since I have her. I tell them about Freshpet. Her coat is growing and her weight is just right. She is happy. Thank you.

We have one dog who loves the special Sensitive Skin type - sometimes we have to seek it out at several stores - that’s our only MINOR downgrade. Our other dog LOVES the beef option and also likes the multi protein (beef/salmon/turkey). We probably won’t change dog foods ever, unless we simply can’t get the FreshPet options they prefer!

My little 10lbs Yorkie cross, Mia, stopped eating kibble and I tried other fresh foods and frozen foods and nothing worked. I saw an ad online and thought that I'd try it. She fell in love with Freshpet meat in the tube. She has maintained her weight, her coat looks great, and has lots of energy. I finally found a food that she loves.

I have 2 dogs, and she had puppies and a puppies or eaten Freshpet food too. My dog just love it, they go crazy on it. My daughter has 2 dogs and she's buying us fresh pet food. Too, and 2 other friends are buying fresh pet food too.

My 11 year old dog Luna loves this food. I buy a big bag & she eats it all up. Great food. This food is fresh & smells great. I even think Luna is losing weight from eating this food which is really good for her. Thanks again for coming out with this awesome food!

My dogs absolutely love Freshpet and always seem excited to eat it. It’s made of wholesome ingredients and I feel like it is a healthy alternative to dry or canned dog food. I also like being able to purchase it in the grocery store when I buy the rest of my groceries, too. I like the fact that it comes in a convenient roll, as well.

It seemed to be better quality when we first started using it. My dogs don’t like it as much now and I have started making my own food. At first it smelled good, like something homemade but later started smelling like canned food. Seems the quality just isn’t there anymore.

Went my local Walmart & tried the multi meat bag and my girl loved it. Next I tried the home cooked chicken and she loved that as well. Both of my dogs has always loved Freshpet so, it was a no brainier on what fresh natural dog food to buy.

I had gotten a German shepherd puppy who is extremely picky in what she eats and I tried the fresh pet chunky beef and it has been the only way to get her to eat. I do mix it in with her dry dog food since she is such a big girl already but I was so worried when she was not eating and finding this brand's food got her to start eating has eased all of my worries!

My dogs are happy with Freshpet roll of beef and turkey. They gobble it up when I add as a topper to their kibble. Using it as a topper helps me to keep the roll longer. If I use it as a meal replacement, the roll would be gone in two days! Both of my dogs are large, and I can only afford one roll at a time. I will still continue to buy it.

Freshpet chunky beef recipe. We tried others over the years and the freshpet seemed to be the best. It also made her health better. Overall it seems like a good dog food. It is very easy to prepare. Just get it out of the fridge and cut it into bite size pieces.

Freshpet food was equally loved by my two dogs when I fed it to both. I have a Beagle who loves it and a fiesty Chihuahua. The Chihuahua was a much pickier eater and would eat food so the beagle wouldn't eat it all BUT when I tried Freshpet for both, the Chihuahua would do this happy feet type dance that I NEVER saw him do with any other food. He even yelled at me if I wasn't getting it out fast enough to feed him. They both loved it that much and it was a hearty food for both.

My Bluetooth printer could not print out your coupons. It prints everything else. I find the food to be very expensive on a retirement income. My 2 year old dog loves this food. Started her on it as a puppy! She is very healthy, too. Could you send me coupons via USPS? Thank you.

My senior dog needs something soft, but yet nutritious and cost friendly. I cut the roll up and cube it for him. He loves it! I have been using this product for about 2 years now. I've also given him the small dog chicken bites and he loves those as well!

My dog loves FreshPet & could star in a commercial for the food. She cries as I am cutting it up to mix with her dry food & then basically inhales the food!. I would recommend this food to other dog owners. I buy the 4 Roo box at Costco.

My dog has always had issues with eating and constipation. Since he has been eating Freshpet he has been problem free. He gets so excited when it is breakfast and dinner time. He wags his tail and eats as fast as he can when the bowl hits the floor. He is a 12 year old dachshund named Buster.

Our pups love the beef roll, the chicken/turkey roll and the small dog chicken. I feed 6 chihuahuas this every evening in addition to their daily crunchy food that is left down 24/7. Seems to be sensitive for their stomachs and very little stomach upset, which is good. I wished you guys had coupons for your Freshpet though. It would help tremendously. Thanks!

Thank you for this great food. My dogs love it. It would be great if the local stores had more variety. I would also like to see more fish products. The raw so far has been their favorite. I would like to buy directly from FreshPet one day. The cat will even eat the dog food and loves it too.

I wanted to give my puppy a great start in life, so she eats a mixture of Freshpet Puppy and other puppy kibble twice a day. She's 9 months old and very happy, healthy, and energetic. She's a little terrier mix we adopted at 8 weeks old from our local animal rescue. She now weighs about 8 pounds! And she loves Freshpet Puppy!

Our 15 year old 10# chihuahua mix rescue began having bouts of pancreatitis. We switched him from a complete raw frozen mix to Freshpet on a recommendation from our holistic veterinarian. He *LOVED* it and I appreciated that the price was very reasonable compared to similar subscription services. Our pup did well for 3 months on Freshpet only but then had another bout with pancreatitis. In an effort to keep his dietary fat below 10%, I switched him to a home-cooked diet. I really believe that your product is a very good one. It sadly just seem to work in our situation.

We have three large dogs that get fed kibble and Freshpet. Our bulldog mix has had less gut/gas issues with Fresh Pet and all 3 dogs love the food (even the picky one). I love that I can get it at the local grocery store and it is reasonably priced. Thank you for creating good food.

I bought the 3 lb bag of the Fresh Pet multi protein complete meal. I thought it did not smell great but I fed it to my dog and he is sick from it. I doubt that I will buy any more due to the fact that it is unknown if the store kept the food cold the entire time.

We have been using Freshpet for several months now and our two dogs absolutely love it! I love being able to feed them a food that they love, and that we know is good for them. The product is always fresh, and I love being able to buy food from a company that we know we can trust for our fur babies.

My Sadie girl has been dealing with cushing's disease for 10 months now and has blindness due to symptoms. I swapped her over to fFreshpet vital hip & joint dog food. She only likes the chicken & salmon with cranberry and green beans bag and loves it. It’s helped her improve with supplements and bone broth quite a bit. It’s a little spendy and my store only has it 80 percent of the time so I have to buy it all when I go unfortunately or she will tolerate the digestion style one most of the time. Overall I’m happy with it so far.

My very particular pup loves this food. She "almost" eats it by herself whereas prior I've had to hand-feed her. She loves both the roll and piece meal products. Perhaps 1 day you can have it as a ship to home product. Cannot always find the flavors at the store.

I have a German shepherd and she is very, very picky plus a sensitive stomach so one day I was in grocery store and saw Freshpet so I purchased a small tube of the beef and she ate it. No issues. That was in may. She has been eating freshpet beef ever since. Her name is Shadow.

My Boxer is allergic to poultry so I’m forced to purchase the Beef. Although stores stock the poultry they typically do not carry the Beef. Why is that? I’ve asked two different stores to carry the beef but they simply don’t. I must drive quite a bit farther to Pet Smart and the price is so much more expensive.

Before I tried Freshpet I used other high-end dog good and my pup took a while to eat it. He would just let it sit there for a while and his poops were messy and smelly. Now that my pup eats freshpet he LOVES IT!! He gobbles it right up and is so happy after he eats it and now his poops are perfect, and they don't even stink like poop anymore and his coat is extremely soft, and everyone compliments him on that.

I have purchased the small bags of Freshpet for small breeds beef flavor. I have a small dog and oftentimes mix with other food. I have found that after having opened the bag in two or three days, it starts to get a very sour smell. And the color changes. I then toss it as I find the smell after a few days to be very noticeable and nasty.

I like to feed Freshpet chicken in the bag. I use it to top off my dogs' dry food. They really like it, and I like the convenience of scooping their proportions out of the bag. I like that this is the freshest food I can give them without cooking it myself!

I have never ordered any product from you. My pup used to eat it. They rolled and it was all she liked as she was a very picky eater. Many times my local grocery stores wouldn't even have any in stock. Of course, that was when I had NONE in the house and really needed it. I then started to make her food at home. She was at the vet just over a week ago and he said she is very healthy and I was doing a great job feeding her.

My cocker spaniel is a very picky eater. When she gave up on her former food I was at a loss on what to try next. Since she is older I decided on Freshpet. She absolutely loves it and looks forward to eating again. I purchase fresh from the kitchen home cooked chicken recipe. Sometimes the chunks are too large for her and I need to cut them with a scissor.

I have one very spoiled puppy that I couldn’t get to eat any dog food I have used for years. After trying too many to count, I decided to try FreshPet. She loves it. Now it is the only food that she and other 2 dogs will eat. Had a large one go bad after a few days. Called customer service. They gave me a coupon to get another one.

Sometimes I could get the dog food of Freshpet that I wanted that my Pomeranian prefers to eat. And that is Freshpet® Homestyle Creations All Life Stage Dog Food - Fresh, Beef, Chicken & Turkey. It's never in stock at most of the branches of Pet Smart. It shows that there a few in stock. I order and they never seem to have this one only the Chicken and Turkey. I have get an expensive topper to add to coerce my 20 lb pomeranian to eat. I may as well be cooking for him special like I was. But it's the time. Now I spend all my time trying to find a place that will carry what I need. It says it's in stock but by the time ordered there are none. Usually only 1 if lucky and can never order more than 3 which is what I did and it's never in stock and they tell me they have none.

We’ve noticed a shinier coat, more energy and overall happiness since starting our dogs on Freshpet! They love it! My dog quit eating for days and I didn't know what to do. We tried Freshpet and he gobbled it up and has been eating twice a day since!! We mix the Freshpet with Stella and Chewy Super Beef dinner patties and he has gained 3 pounds. He is healthier than ever before. I just wish it was a little less expensive.

Did not provide any assistance in finding product locally. They only offered help finding the specialty items. I wanted to find the small breed recipe. Certain stores carry the other recipes but not all of them. Customers should be able to find specific recipes not just zip code guessing. We have had Poppy, our 8 year old dog for about a year. We rescued her and did not know any history of what she was fed. We tried her on a number of different wet and dry combinations, but she was a very picky eater. We finally tried her on Fresh Pet, and she loves it! Her stools are now firm and not runny. We are happy with her progress and will keep her on Freshpet.

Freshpet is the only dog food my GSDs can tolerate but I wish the bags were larger and the price was a little friendlier. My younger shepherd has a vitamin B12 deficiency and has a hard time putting on weight and my older shepherd has food allergies.

Went to your website only to find out that you sell all kinds of products/food. Only two of your products are available at Costco, which is where I’d buy your food. Wasn’t able to determine which ones they sold, and what might best suit my dogs. Seems like the one that your website says might be best for my dogs is not available at Costco.

My dogs went from cooked ground beef and ate it up. They have all four been eating it every day. I am sure that Freshpet is better for them compared with the ground beef. My dogs love Freshpet. I mix it with a small amount of dry food to make it last longer. My only complaint is that it is expensive and sometimes hard to find. I shop mostly at Walmart to save money and many times Walmart is sold out and I have to locate it at another more expensive store.

When I initially purchase Freshpet my dog gobbled it up like crazy but then after a couple weeks she no longer wanted to eat it just on its own, she would eat it on top of her kibble but even that she no longer wanted after a couple weeks. Then didn't want to eat any longer.

We have used various versions for sensitive stomach and skin for our dogs--both small, mixed breeds, adults--rescues. One is 8 years old and one is 4 (both ages are approximates as shared by the rescues from which they came). Both females and spayed. We mix the FreshPet with their kibble and a little water.

I have been buying Freshpet for my pets for many years now. There are a few that are different that my kids just can’t get warmed up to so I have to go all the way to the lower mainland to find that type which is usually chicken and then the beef and then the chicken and turkey. They don’t really care so much for the spinach and potato but I think if I said it out there and left it long enough, they would finally eat it. Wish you could bring down the price especially in your treats but I get it.

Best food for my dog ever!!! I’m constantly referring my friends to this food .. my dog always had digestive issues but now his tummy is good!!! He has also lost weight and his fat lumps have gone down… He gets so excited when it’s time to eat, I feed him twice a day. He is now 9 years young!!!

I specifically adopted a mega-e dog to rehabilitate and have for my own. Her eating Freshpet has been the best for her overall health but most importantly, her near elimination of reflux or regurgitation of any food. I truly believe the food is a lifesaver for her and am thankful for having it.

We use Freshpet daily in our house for two pets. Taco is a Husky Shepherd and Nila is a small dog. Their breakfast and dinner is Freshpet. Their health has improved and also their energy. Both actually look forward to their mix. We mix it with their hard food. Freshpet is purchased at Walmart and if we don’t go early in the week, the fridge is not stocked. That causes stress, so now we purchase two bags at a time. We love our Pet Food, Freshpet.

I have a 10 year old Male Keeshond who has always been a very fussy eater. After trying raw foods, dozens of dry foods, and canned foods I finally decided to try Freshpet. He looks forward to mealtime and my wife and I try to mix up the beef and chicken to give both my dogs a little variety. My second female 4 year old Keeshond rescue is not fussy at all and she too enjoys the food from Freshpet. I only wish that because I do have two dogs to feed that the packages were available in a larger size say 10 pounds which would help me with making it more affordable. I also found out that Walmart sells it as well but the Calgary stores never seem to have any inventory. It is too bad that there is not a subscribe and save offered with a discount monthly. When you have pets guaranteed inventory is so important.

I have purchased Freshpet Vital Grain- free chicken, beef, salmon, egg Kibble for the past 3 years. My dog loves it! But numerous times the food has gotten moldy. I keep in refrigerator with other food & there is no problem with the other food. It’s frustrating since I have to email your company about this & have to travel to get more food for my dog. I’m trying to not change his food since he loves it.

Love this product. My dog is having much better poops. They are perfect every time. He loves it. He loves the turkey mixed with vegetables. He is more active. He poops were always really watery when he was eating canned dog food. He is much happier. They said they do not get the food because low inventory. All of the other FreshPet food is in stock. The small dog loaf is never in stock due to the manufacturer.

Every bag I've bought has never lasted a week. It always starts to smell like it's gone bad after 3-4 days. After purchase, placed bags immediately in refrigerator. After 2-3 days (two different times an unopened bag was swollen to the max). Called the company, sent pictures and info from bags and was provided coupons for free bags. Disposed of bad bags each time. My 2 dogs love the multi protein formula! Availability is sometimes a problem.

We have gone through dozens of types of food, both dry and "fresh" toppings, etc. to no avail. I finally tried Freshpet for Small Breeds for our two shih tzus, Winnie & Reyna. They are both two years old, around 10 lbs and very finicky eaters. But we also give them regular-sized bits. Now they eat at every meal.

Well, I find there may be a bit too much salt in your dog food, as I find when my dogs are finished eating, they both need to drink water. A bit less salt would be a great idea, I don't think they need too much, do you? Other than that, great dog food!! My two love it!

My little Maltese I brought home from the shelter loves this food! She gets about 3/4 cup daily over two feeding periods. She had no difficulty adjusting to this food and has never had any issues with digestion. Stools were and continue to be normal. She likes the little bites but sometimes they are hard to find, but we always buy the chicken for her.

My Greyhound was having issues with canned wet food. Started with Freshpet food rolls. First he really enjoys the flavor and eats with enthusiasm. He likes all flavors especially the salmon. No more stomach issues, diarrhea, excessive gas. It is also convenient to cut up the rolls according to portion size he needs. Readily available in the small town I live in.

I don’t have an account number. I buy in the stores I would have given Freshpet a very high rating except that I have a hard time finding a supply. I am feeding my dogs, chunky turkey and chicken because the copper content is lower than in the others. Finding it has been so hard that I try to switch my dogs to another food. The one with liver problems was not having it. She wanted her food so I drove 35 miles and stocked up. Why does this have to be so hard?

My 2 pomeranian dogs love Freshpet. They shredded type. I was first given some at a food bank and now I buy at Petsmart or grocery store. I do also feed freeze dried raw..but supplementing with Fresh Pet. One of my Poms is 19 yrs old..way past his expiration date so good nutrition is especially important for him..he loves it.

I first got Freshpet for my dog as a cheaper alternative than wet food, BUT since I got that first tube of food I have learned that my dog absolutely loves the stuff! He's been on fresh pet for at least 6 months and has maintained his weight and it a very healthy dog.

My little miniature Schnauzer LOVES your dogfood. I'm glad of that because I tried to give her The Farmers Dog and she almost died. I followed their directions but she got terribly constipated. She was plugged up all night. I had to put olive oil on my finger to get the ROCK hard stools out. Poor little thing. They were as big as those large marbles. Told them about it and they apologized, gave me a refund and that's the last I've heard from them. THANK YOU FRESHPET!!

I’ve purchase this product for about 1 year. The last four bags I bought turned gray in the first couple of days. Also had a very foul sour smell. Sometimes I heat a little in my microwave to take the chill off. While in microwave the dog food started shootings sparks. Something is definitely not right!!

I have been buying Vital dog food for my 2 dogs. They claim it's organic and healthy. It came frozen when I defrosted the dog food. The food caught on fire. Started sparking. I had it tested and found Aluminum in the dog food. This is illegal and toxic and my dog has been very sick.

I have been feeding my dog Freshpet chicken dog food for approximately six months. I have had a repeated 15 minutes situation where the food spoils within 24 hours of the bag being opened. Our latest experience is that this food has made our dog very very sick. I suggest know when use this product. We will never use it again.

I'm only writing this review because the commercial made a serious illness, into "just old age". My 11-year-old cat started not eating as much (he looooved healthy cat food) and the commercial made it seem like that was just a normal thing... I had brought my cat to the vet twice over 2 months with concerns of weight loss. I spent 2 months buying every kind of food under the sun and Freshpet was one he ate for maybe a week, then stopped. I thought it was just old age like the commercial said, but he still kept losing weight... 3rd trip to the vet $$$ we finally discovered it was hyperthyroidism and stage 2 kidney disease. There should be a warning on Freshpet's misleading commercials that anorexia in pets is "NOT" just cause they're getting old, but should be seen by a vet first... Heartbreaking that I'm not an expert on animals. :( Such a sad ending for my favorite little buddy.

I have been feeding my dogs Freshpet dog food for years never had a problem till recently. My dogs got very sick after eating their beef, chicken and Turkey and chicken recipes. I reported the problem but Freshpet couldn’t care less and never open an investigation or anything. I will never feed my dogs that garbage again because they can careless unless threatened with a lawsuit or reporting the to FDA. In the meantime I am out of $100.00 worth of food and hundreds if not a thousand in Vet bills. I have having some of there food inspected by professionals of it comes back tainted I am not only going to sue them but I am reporting them to the health department and other government agencies. It is unacceptable that they allow these stores to deliberately sell bad dog food that can actually cause death in some dogs.. Absolutely unacceptable!!!

We have been feeding our dogs Freshpet for years. Lately I had been questioning the freshness as I've gotten slimy rolls and mushy rolls and my dogs have been sick randomly when I open new logs. I've returned some thinking it was a refrigeration issue but after reading all these bad reviews I'm concerned it's what killed my dog yesterday. I had a 7 yr old extremely healthy pekingese mix.

I have for several years gotten the six pound tubes of all the different types, beef, chicken, etc. Each time I bring the product straight home and refrigerate it. Three times now, including today, I've gotten tubes that upon opening are full of a thick white mucus like slime. This concerns me greatly as it appears very similar to the white slime you will see on uncooked chicken left too long in the refrigerator that is Salmonella. The first two times the company advised me instantly without hesitation to throw the product away and they sent me coupons for new product. So they know they have a problem but they refused to tell me what the white slime is composed of. They said if the package leaks and air gets in this will happen.

We are new to Freshpet and have purchased several rolls of the chicken and the beef recipe for our Shephard. She was enjoying the product, but we noticed this week for a few days she was lethargic, off her food and vomiting. No runny stools. But, definitely looking unwell. She has been on homecooked food for several years, but we thought with the price of meat that we would try your product. I have decided not to purchase in the future because the last beef roll (6#) was slimy. Only on the outside of the roll, but it was very concerning. I noticed other posts with the same concern and Freshpet's response was they would be contacting the customer. Freshpet's voicebox for customer service was full. I will be cooking her meals at home again.

After feeding my Shih Tzu Fresh Pet Select (roll) for 12 years now, I am highly suspicious that the last few purchases in the Phoenix area have cause my dog horrible health issues. Suddenly, he hates the taste and has been lethargic and lost all energy. Maybe it is just a coincidence, but as soon as I took him off the Fresh Pet, he started to behave much better and regained his strength. I wonder if the recipe has been changed or the shipment may not have been kept properly refrigerated. Anyone else notice this?

We have been purchasing the Freshpet select beef flavor "dog logs" for a while now as an additive to my dog's regular kibble. Usually the food is fine, and at first they seemed to really like it. However occasionally, as was the most recent purchase, the tubes have a mucus like slime all over the food, and all inside the package. You can literally squeeze it out. There is probably a 1/4 cup of slime in total. I don't want to feed this to my dog. I did feed them some once thinking it was a food additive or preservative, and my dog acted like he wasn't feeling well, and threw up the next morning. I wish I had trusted my gut and just threw it away. You cant tell if it's going to be a slimy one at the store until you get home and cut the tube open. This is such a waste, as these are a bit pricey, and have raised in price along with everything else at the store. I will not be purchasing these anymore, and wanted to warn others not to waste their money.

I have been using Freshpet for a few months now and no complaints. However when I cut into the latest loaf I purchased a mucus like slime came out and the product was very slippery/slimy to the touch with a slight brown tinge in color on the outside. This is the first time I've seen this and will not feed my dog this.

We wanted to give our new puppy the best dog food out there so we went to Fresh Pet. We thought it must be the best since it's refrigerated and carried at a LOT of places. We were wrong. We tried several flavors and our dog hated it all and wouldn't eat it unless she was starting to death. We think we know why... It's smells terrible, like it's sour or spoiled. Not just once but every new batch we got. No wonder our dog hated it. We feel bad we ever tried to get her to eat it.

Easy on a sensitive stomach, however lately I've noticed an excessive amount of carrots. In the smaller size bags, (1.75 lb) Home Cooked Chicken Recipe, I'm not happy about paying this much money for a serious handful of carrots in a cup of dog food. The larger size bags, (4.5 lbs) the proportions seem to be much better.

My dog has a very sensitive stomach. I chose Freshpet grain free and it's been amazing. To serve her fresh food every day and not have to cook it for her it's a real blessing. She eats it immediately and we never have tummy issues. She's a 15 pound Pomeranian so I get the package of grain-free chicken.

Freshpet is similar to homemade pet food. My rescue Shih Tzu enjoys it immensely. Tfhe first ingredient is the meat and all the grains appear fresh. My only complaint is that I can't find it just anywhere. It has to be refrigerated.

Been feeding Freshpet since my groomer recommended it a couple months ago but stopped this week. Dunce my dog had developed diarrhea twice while on the food. Made an appointment with the vet. And in the 48 hours before the appointment my dog's health went south. He became lethargic, drinking extreme amounts of water and shaking. The vet diagnosed pancreatitis, gave him meds, and IVs and we need to go back tomorrow for more of the same. He isn't severe enough to be hospitalized. I just stopped feeding the freshpet this week because I suspect it in the recurrent diarrhea. A cause of pancreatitis is high fat diet. Freshpet almost killed my dog in just 2 months. And cost my wallet significantly.

This is the only food my 3 dogs will eat it fresh and natural, they love the variety of cranberries and carrots. Price is reasonable and you can find it in the refrigerator in the pet aisle! Worth every penny.

I bought this to mix with kibble to give them a little healthy boost, just a few tablespoons not even a full serving. Next day they both have almost liquid diarrhea, with mucus and one is vomiting. Nothing else has changed and it has gone on all day. I have stopped the food and will be taking them to the vet if nothing changes tomorrow.

I had been giving my shorkie Fresh Pet for several months. I noticed he started vomiting and having diarrhea. He also wouldn’t touch his food sometimes. This is the only food I had been giving him because he liked it at first and was very picky. I took him to vet and they couldn’t find anything wrong but told me to keep an eye on him. That’s when I started paying attention to his food and decided to switch it because he wouldn’t touch it anymore. The vomiting and diarrhea stopped immediately. So I waited for a while and decided to try the fresh pet again. He vomited 30 mins after I had given it to him. So I don’t know if the formula or protein is too high for certain dogs. Or if the food was molded. I see it was recalled a few weeks ago but should have been recalled months before.

Our animals (1 dog, 4 cats) love to have a slice in the morning for breakfast of the rolls. For the dog, I buy the HUGE roll, slice it up, freeze it and it lasts about 4-5 weeks. Thank you for producing a great product.

My dogs love the loaves. Even my picky 12 year old Maltipoo! My other dog, a 14 year old Papillion, has an auto immune disease and it's a great way to keep her healthy. When it's dinner time they bark and whine, they get sooo excited!

While I cannot say definitively that this food was the cause, our previously healthy two year old toy dog ate this food and threw up a few hours later. She continued to throw up and couldn't even keep water down. We had never fed her Freshpet before. We took her to the vet who said she had a bout of pancreatitis. That was the first and last time we buy Fresh Pet. Again, while I cannot personally confirm the veracity of mold being an issue with this food, I've seen many discussions regarding mold problems associated with Fresh Pet.

I contacted customer care to inquire if they ever offered promotions or coupons on certain sites and they wrote me back stating that they would mail me some coupons! How nice is that!! This year has been So Hard and I love my little guys more than anything and they now love Fresh Pet food.. I am still unemployed and hopefully going back to work soon so them taking the time to mail me coupons means the world to me. :) Sammy and Joey thank you and I thank you too!! ❤️

I have been purchasing FreshPet for our 4 year old dog and when we first began he had lost interest in eating his regular dry food so I had always wanted to try this and it came to our nearby grocery store so I did, I purchased the tender chicken roll and he loved it and would eat his food right away when we fed him. The grocery store ran out of the roll so I purchased the bag and noticed afterwards that he had no interest in eating his food which we would mix with his dry food. He threw up a couple of times and was listless.

I found my answer why this is happening in your FAQ. My 4 pets love your Freshpet foods and it is really scary when I can't find it in the stores as they will not eat anything else. I really love the convenience of your foods also.

I love this and it has been such a life saver for my 16 year old Yorkie who has lost all his teeth and was such a picky eater but eats this and even stands and waits for it...I am so grateful I have found this and don't know how much longer my fur baby would have lived without teeth and being able to chew. What a great product. I am forever grateful.

My dogs 3 Yorkshire terriers depend on the Fresh pet. Sometimes I have to go miles and miles to get a fresh pet. I usually get the big chicken and turkey rolls. Now their favorite is Spinach and potato. My little guy has a shunted liver and Fresh Pet dog food saved his life. He's only 3 pounds but he's the boss and he let us know when he wants his fresh pet.

My little Pom chi’s are finicky eaters. They gobble this up!! I love that it’s fresh and natural, and provides what they need and like. Sometimes I have to buy a big bag, but I just portion out a weeks worth at a time and store in the freezer.

Small dog food bags. Very hard to find at grocery stores. Very expensive at pets stores actually twice the price. This is all my dog likes to eat. Easy for her because of her age and teeth. Have been running around to different grocery stores and walmarts. Always out.

I would like to say that my dogs love Fresh pet! When the pandemic hit it became harder to get the rolls for my three. I called one day and spoke to a wonderful kind caring customer representative who told me she apologized for the inconvenience and would like to send me a coupon to help us out for our troubles. As of today I'm extremely upset with this company due to the following inactions of their customer service. My dogs have been eating this since they came out with Fresh from the Kitchen [which no longer has any cranberries in the bag. That's the only brand I give them. When I could no longer find this anywhere, Target, Walmart, Shoprite, Amazon, I switched to Multi Protein bags.. Now I cannot find that anywhere and I've called Customer Service numerous times to no avail. Today I phoned Secaucus where they are based and I received no apology, no plausible reason for their refrigerators to be empty for the last 6 weeks.

My mom has two elder dogs that have diet restrictions and Freshpet rolls are the one food that they can tolerate and love!! The dogs have lost most of their teeth since they are 14 and 13 years old and have a hard time chewing. The rolls have been been able for them to chew and tolerate.

We have been feeding my service dog, Meli, Freshpet for over a year. Prior to changing from a limited ingredient kibble she required 2 allergy pills every day. They are $2.50 each, now she takes 1/2 a pill and is much happier. We tell everyone about Freshpet.

FreshPet Food saved my babies life. I struggled finding tender kibbles for my cat because she has lost quite a few teeth. Pate food is what I have to feed her and she ends up getting sick. FreshPet food honestly smells good enough for human to eat. My cat (Meeso) was a rescue cat. She has no claws on her front feet and someone just dumped her to fend for herself. We have had her for 3 years now and can’t seem to get her to gain weight. I just started her on FreshPet kibble this week and she LOVES it. She’s been eating and keeping it down. We have 2 dogs eating Freshpet. We've noticed that one of them gets extremely constipated if we feed her Freshpet chicken. When I go to purchase Freshpet, often. Beef is the only one left. I'm wondering if others are having the same problem with the chicken. If we stick with Freshpet, we'll only purchase the beef. However, at this time, I'm not sure we should stick with the brand.

I have 2 senior dogs that have had most of their teeth extracted. They use to only eat dry food. But since a friend gave me Freshpet to try they both can easily eat Freshpet food and love it!! I have a dog who is a very finicky/spoiled eater. Other family members spoiled her as a puppy with human table scraps and it's been a struggle ever since. She began refusing to eat her dog food, wet or dry. I tried making her food myself for years, but it was still hit or miss. Sometimes she would go days without eating anything. I would cave in and give her a few treats because I felt so bad when her little stomach would growl or she'd heave up bile. I recently decided to try FreshPet Vital in hopes of getting her back on track. This is the first time in 5½ years that I haven't had to fight with, bribe, or trick my dog into eating her food. I have a 12 year old pug who has been struggling lately with eating his kibble (good ole pug teeth :)). I was nervous about switching over to fresh food after all these years of him on the same kibble, but I decided last night to buy a small bag to try it out. After days of turning his nose to his food, I gave him a small amount of Freshpet in his kibble last night and then again this morning. He inhaled his food! It has only been a few meals, but I am feeling good about it so far. I am hoping that once we move to 100% Freshpet and no kibble, that he will have an easier time eating his food.

I bought the FreshPet chicken for my dog. He loved it but after a month of eating it he became very ill. US$2000 later he is still recovering. He was vomiting every 10 minutes and I had to rush him to the ER three times and twice in one day. On the way to the ER he vomited in the car and was very sick. He weighed 7 pounds and after vomiting so much he went down to 5 pounds. They had to treat him on meds and fluids in order to help him recover. This happened in August 2020 and today (Dec 19, 2020) he is on less medication but nonetheless, my dog was in perfect health before. Now he is taking meds every day. I found that he had similar symptoms that others had posted in their review. This cost me so much money to get him back to health. I would never recommend FreshPet. I think it poisoned my dog.

My pups love Freshpet. I appreciate the coupons being sent. Prompted attention to my e mail. Fresh pet has been a god send to my pups' digestive systems plus they absolutely love it! I can’t say enough about how fresh pet has changed them. One is 8 yo and the other 7yo. They have their puppy energy back.

Recently, my dog experienced a very serious bout of gastroenteritis which left her quite Ill. I won't go into detail as it was pretty gross (HGE). However, after a vet visit for rehydration and injections of probiotics, antibiotics, etc., we brought her home with several meds. She would not permit us to give pills after the first one was forced. Anyway, I purchased Freshpet for Sensitive Stomachs and Skin and fed small amounts to her with white rice when she wanted to eat again. It contained everything she needed apparently (probiotics, Omega 3 and 6, brown rice, etc) and gradually, after small meals, she was able to enjoy it with her regular kibble. She is healthy now and I could not be more grateful for this wonderful solution to a life-threatening illness.

Customer Service was very quick to reply to my email request for coupons. Thank you so much for the quick reply. I Can't wait to get the coupons. Our Maltese-Pom loves the turkey-bacon treats, and I'm so glad to be able to feed him something that is better for him.

My American Bulldog was about 15 lbs overweight and the vet recommended changing her food to a healthier fresh menu instead of the dry kibble she had been eating, although it was a high-end brand she loved. I slowly switched her over to FreshPet simply because the ingredients looked good and it was a lot more affordable than other fresh pet food delivery options online and it was readily available in my local grocery store.

I reached out to FreshPet to see if they had free samples or coupons so that I could trial the product with my pet. They responded promptly and professionally and will provide me with coupons. Great customer service. I'm looking forward to trying FreshPet.
