    On two occasions now I’ve encountered stocking issues where I was informed *after* a purchase was made that the item I bought wasn’t in stock. Despite appearing to give me a choice to cancel my order or not via the notification email, the reality is that a cancellation and subsequent refund are the *only* approaches to rectifying said issue, even when the item is predicted to be back in stock shortly.

    There’s no excuse to tie up additional charges, however temporary, on my account when exchanges (or simply the exact purchase, applied at a later date) or store credit could be used as an alternative option in the way that many retailers offer instead of requiring that the customer accept the delayed refund only to circle back and repurchase later; particularly when it is a result of inconveniences that, though understandable, are in no way the fault of the customer. Customer service is friendly and prompt, but it doesn’t change the fact that this is a poor way of passing the buck and I’m over having to deal with the repeated headache.

    This was the worst experience I've ever had with a store. First they denied my prescription even though my vet approved it and we had to start the order entirely over. Then they put down the wrong shipping address (Why. I don't know as my address was listed CORRECTLY when I ordered this product online). Then it took 10 phone calls to get the address corrected... Nobody there seemed to care that they (Chewy) changed it internally to a wrong address after they cancelled it the first time by mistake. Then it didn't go out on time due to all the issues with Chewy. Finally, I needed this product desperately as it was a mare of mine that was having health issues and time was of the essence to treat her.

    The day they were supposed deliver the product the service they used did not deliver it to me (but stated it was delivered). I repeatedly had to call Chewy to locate the package. The manager was arrogant and basically couldn't care less of the urgency I needed this medication. He stated I needed to file a police report and email that in and the following week they would ship out the product. He did not want to help me whatsoever even though I stated this medication was for a mare whose health was declining and this delay was seriously affecting her health. I have witnesses who looked for the package earlier at the mailboxes (that is where they stated to have delivered it) and we also thoroughly searched around the house to make sure it wasn't put somewhere else.

    At about 6:30 pm I was advised by my neighbor (I had been making calls to make sure it wasn't delivered to someone else I knew in the vicinity) to go to all the subdivisions and check their mailbox stations. On my way out I found the package in the driveway (wasn't there when I came home at 5 pm or when the neighbor checked for me at 3 pm). All I can think is someone got the package by mistake at a different location and decided to drop it off at my address this evening. My entire experience with Chewy was absolutely HORRIBLE. The way they continually screwed up a time sensitive order then treated me as if I was the criminal that stole the package is unbelievable. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY IF YOU NEED MEDICATION THROUGH THE PHARMACY.

    Chewy used to be the place for products and great customer service. After the past couple months of getting spoiled (actually exploded in packaging) products, which were refunded, but they never resolved the issue with the warehouse after numerous requests for investigation, because you would order them and still were damaged before shipping. Prices on site, are not always honored. They reply it's only a certain size, or flavor even though you get an email with the price of the product. When speaking to customer service, if there's an issue, they rather be rid of you than try to resolve. After over 10 years of being an auto delivery customer, they couldn't care less or even ask why, when I asked to be removed. Certainly, things have changed, maybe they have enough customers now that they don't need to care.

    I want to give a HUGE shout-out to Chewy.com. I have used them for years for their convenience and prices but NOW.... They are an amazing company. 1. I called to say I just got an order in and it is unopened. That my dog passed. She was clearly understanding on the phone and refunded my money and asked if I would just donate or pass it on in name of our dog. 2. She stated they are open 24/7 and if I ever need to talk, they are here for me. 3. Yesterday when I got home from work, There was a bouquet of flowers waiting for me with their condolences. AMAZING!

    How could anyone give Chewy less than a 5 star review? We've been customers for 7+ years and LOVE this company. We've ordered dozens, if not hundreds, of items from them. They have real customer service- like, an actual person picks up when you call and deals with your ask right away, with clear communication. Or same over chat. If there is an issue with an order or you don't like a product, they will often just refund it entirely and ask you to donate the item rather than shipping it back. That's happened 3x to us. How amazing is that? I don't know how they stay in business being so generous to their customers but we are lifelong customers as a result.

    They almost always have the products we're looking for at prices as good or often better than the local stores. However, we also shop/ support our local pet stores as we like to support them, so try to balance both. Highly recommend Chewy to any pet owner. (I have zero affiliation with the company, just a happy customer).

    After being extremely happy with Chewy.com for years, they have a new security system, which for some reason red flags my orders requiring me to make several "verification" calls by phone. Often delaying my shipments by a week or longer. One order was delayed over 2 weeks. I am understanding of glitches in new start ups however every single order since this has been required, because one phone call never gets the job done. I have never cheated the company and this has been going on for months. They cannot give me a reason for the constant red flag which is unacceptable. I have canceled my Chewy account with great sadness but one morning it took over 30 minutes to get verified only days later still have the order remain canceled. I hope they get their security issues fixed but 2 months is too long being targeted when I know people that are not.

    I was a loyal Chewy customer for years for all of our pets, however, no longer. In the past several months, their customer service has gone wildly downhill. They used to have top notch customer support who would give really good advice and helpful input on everything from cat food to dog toys. No longer. Most of the time now, packages are never on time. I routinely receive notices that "your item has been damaged en route" with instructions to call Chewy to place a new order, which is a huge inconvenience. If the package is damaged en route and never arrives and the carrier notifies both me and Chewy, Chewy should take the initiative to send a replacement order (an apology would be nice, too, but you'll never get one). Then, you're on hold until someone who makes it clear they would rather be doing anything except customer service comes on to grudgingly replace your order.

    Chewy also recently opened an online pet pharmacy which sounds great and convenient until you try to use it. I had one good experience but, after that, it was a disaster. They lost my paper prescription that they required I send them by snail mail, at my expense, and then claimed my vet refused to approve two prescriptions. When I contacted my vet, they were shocked and said Chewy never reached out to them. They sent me an email confirming that, which I forwarded to Chewy. Chewy said there was nothing they could do. That makes no sense.

    At one point, I asked to speak to a manager. A very angry sounding woman who identified herself as Veronica or Victoria came on and said I was required to submit to being on a recorded line. I said no problem and I would record as well. She said she didn't consent to me recording; that only Chewy had the "right" to record (with?) and then hung up on me when I questioned that. Why so afraid? Because you know you're going to give terrible customer service? Everything you can get on Chewy, you can also get online from other providers or, better, from your local pet supply stores. The only thing Chewy had going for it was its convenience and, prior to a few months ago, the formerly good customer support. There's simply no reason to use this company any longer.

    I have been using Chewy for years!. They deliver directly to my front door. The deliveries are always fast and on time. If I have ever have a problem with anything, they fix it. If my cat or dog does not like the items I order for food. They replace it Free, and ask me to donate the product to a local Animal Shelter. Customer Service are always kind, understanding and just Fix it. I am disabled and cannot express how helpful this service is to me and my pets. Just love them.

    My dog has a progressive disease. I ordered the medication on 7/22 and as of today, 8/3, still have not received it. I am completely out of medication. I will NEVER order from Chewy.com again and warn others- if you are ordering medication, order from another pet med company or, if you’re going to take your chances with Chewy, order WAY, WAY in advance.

    Chewy auto shipped a product that I did not have an auto ship request for and will not refund the charge nor will they accept a return for credit. I would not have agreed to have the product shipped. They are being most unfair and I would suggest that consumers be very careful in using this company. They were in fact a good company to deal with but I believe this has recently changed dramatically.

    I decided to try Chewy's new line of dog food, "American Journey" limited Ingredient, Lamb & Sweet Potato. It's been a week and my dog is getting physically worse with his stools. Today he had severe diarrhea all over the house. At the end he produced approx. 2 Tablespoons of bright red blood. He's a 3 year-old healthy Pit Bull. I contacted Chewy to tell them how my dog was responding to their food and asked if they are outsourcing any ingredients from China. They gal looked into it and said, the last answer to this question was in 2020 and they stated they were getting vitamins and minerals from China. It's 2022 now and we know that it's even harder to get ingredients now, so how much are they getting from China now?

    In 2007 my little dogs almost died from what China was putting in dog food, Melamine. I had to give my dogs IV solution 2 x a day for months to save their lives, I was a part of that Class Action Lawsuit, I don't want to go through this again! I asked if they would pay for my dog to go to the vet. They told me, IF my Vet thinks it was from the dog food then the bills would go to their legal department to see if they would. I'm very curious what else they are now getting from China? I don't trust that government at all! We need to full disclosure for all our animals food.

    I tried this one because it "appeared" to be good. I will stick with the expensive high end food and no longer trust the Big Box or Chewy for my animals. I am also going to make his food, which will be $$$$ since he's young and 75 lbs. I contacted the FDA just in case. When you've gone through almost losing a dog due to American companies wanting to save money and there isn't really any oversight on our pet food, you become a bit paranoid. I just wanted to give people a heads up in case their dogs start having diarrhea or vomiting.

    I sent 2 prescriptions on 2 occasions to Chewy pharmacy. I call them and they claim they never got them. I had to drive 1/2 hr to vet to get prescriptions. This happened twice. I have spent 2 hrs trying to resolve issue today. I would not recommend using

    I recently lost my cat, Michka, who had been on prescription diet for years. Chewy gave me a refund for a new case I had just ordered for him, and also had me donate it to a local shelter. Then, today I received flowers with a very touching sympathy note. They certainly go above and beyond. I highly recommend them to anyone with fur babies.

    Same story as others, placed order as existing client. Vet was contacted and sent in refill. Days go by and I get Chewy email, no response from vet received and forward to the vet. Two days later receive the same Chewy email again and vet, THE SAME DAY, approved refill for the second time. 10 days later, no meds! Go to my Chewy account and pharmacy cancelled it, without notice claiming the vet didn't respond. I gave dates and times they refilled and surprised, they found the TWO refills approved by the vet. Now, instead of them seeing it as a duplicate, they interpreted their failure as a request for two of the same product, instead of refill it twice. Worse than that, they tried to claim they received them both "yesterday" yet they had cancelled the refill.

    That was Monday of this week. It is Thursday. Almost a full month since requesting the refill. Status on my chewy account shows they are claiming they received the Rx 3 days ago, not almost a month ago. They still didn't send it out until 3 days after their screw-up notification instead of making it a priority. It MIGHT be here before the weekend. Almost a full month after ordering and more than 3 weeks after the vet called in the refill twice because they claim the first was not received. They are sending me two, in error at my cost, instead of one refill and one held in abeyance. I decided rather than cancel the duplicate which they would surely mess up, to keep it and hope what they send won't expire. It has become a clown show at the pharmacy with no ownership.

    I've been using Chewy's autoship for cat/dog food for awhile now. I have 5 pets so the boxes are quite heavy. Every single month, the FedEx drivers leave these really heavy boxes all the way on the street instead of bringing it to my porch. My husband and I are disabled and cannot carry these, we usually have to wait for our neighbor to be available.

    Last month, I chatted with a Chewy rep and asked him if he can handle this or should I call Fedex. He promised me he would handle it and make a complaint to the higher ups at Chewy, he told me this would not happen again. Well, today the heavy boxes were left on the street again. I'm blaming Chewy since I was promised by their rep this would not happen again and since they choose to use Fedex for delivery instead of a better service. I cancelled my entire autoship order and will not use Chewy again since they cannot seem to ensure my boxes are left near my door (like the rep told me would happen). If you're disabled, or if you're unable to carry heavy items, Chewy may not be for you.

    They ship quickly and accurately. If there is a problem it is quickly resolved with a phone call. I once had a product damaged in shipment. One phone call and I had a replacement within 24 hours. Once during the pandemic, there were shortages of Henry's prescription food. I called and explained that I had completely run out of his food. The agent on the phone contacted multiple warehouses while I was on the phone and got me a partial shipment shipped that day. Henry was thankful and so was I. :)

    This is how every successful company should run. The customer service is beyond amazing and they immediately fixed a package that went to my old address where the person now there kept it and wouldn't give it back. Not their fault but the woman immediately arranged for the same items to be delivered to my current address. My friend said that when her dog died a few years back, they sent flowers!!!! I believe this is a family-based company and I love purchasing from "the smaller stores" (Even though Chewy is now huge. Lol.) They will have my business forever.

    I've been a customer of Chewy for a few years, and recently ordered $50 worth of pet supplies just after moving across the country. I realized the day the shipment was supposed to arrive that I'd accidentally sent the package to my old address, and contacted customer support to see if it could be redirected. Unfortunately it was too late, but they actually sent me another new box for free, even though it was 100% my fault to begin with! I'm shocked they'd just give out so much without so much as questioning it or even making me pay for shipping. Thank you Chewy!

    My dog is insulin-dep diabetic and requires Rx food. 2 week autoship barely has spare days in between refill. They notify me the day it ships, that they are out of stock. No early warning and all local out of stock too. Really upsetting since blood sugar levels can go crazy with wrong food. I no longer use their services.

    I've never been a Chewy customer, so I decided to give them a try. Accessing their website was impossible, as every time I tried to I was redirected to an error page. After trying a few more times, I called the number that the error page offered, and the representative I got said there was nothing that they could do. I offered them the reference number the error page provided, but was instead reassured that they could do nothing about it. Seems like a major problem if prospective customers can't even get to the home page, but it seems they do not care.

    I used to like Chewy because of their 1-2 day delivery policy. This is what they posted. Then I noticed that deliveries were taking a week or more. I just gave them another chance and my delivery will be coming by truck from Florida to California and will take 10 days. I can get the same items, often for less cost, from Amazon in 1-2 days. Chewy has changed and the delivery claims on their website are dishonest.

    I can't say enough about how bad this vendor is! I ordered one 30lb bag of dog food and a box of poop bags on 06/23/2020. Five days went by and it hadn't shipped, so on 06/29/2020, I called Chewy. An agent informed me that because I was a new client, I should have received an email from their security dept., which would ask me to answer some questions, so they could determine that I was legitimate. I informed the agent that I did not receive the email. She checked her records, and verified that no email had been sent. She also stated that it looked like the security dept. had dropped the ball. With that, she asked me a few questions, which I answered correctly, and stated that the security dept. would review my answers. If all answers were correct, my order would ship asap.

    That night I received another email from Chewy asking me to change my password. I complied. The next day I received an email containing an apology and a little lecture explaining why I should not have ordered late in the week. I also received another notice saying my items had shipped. (Yay!) On 07/02/2020, the large Chewy box arrived with both items and no padding, consequently the dog bag had been ripped open, and some of the dog food had escaped. I sent a message to Chewy explaining how dissatisfied I was, and they responded by sending a replacement 30 lb bag. Big deal! What a pain in the you know what! My advice is to find a different vendor who has their act together.

    I have been ordering ** from Chewy and I received a bottle that was only a quarter full and was told they would replace it only to receive an email 2 days later saying they would not. They totally resented their offer of the replacement. The Pharmacy division is different from the retail side and do not uphold the 100% Satisfaction guarantee as the retail side does. After several phone calls even to their Florida Headquarters, no one called me back. This drug was over $227.00 and should have 4 ML in the bottle and barely had enough dose for 1.2 ML. I would NOT recommend the Pharmacy portion of this company. They are very rude and do not stand behind the 100% guarantee that Chewy.com so proudly advertises nor their word they would send it to me by two different Pharmacists and then did not. Also, very poor customer service on their part.

    I am not trying to be rude but the customer service needs to do a lot better. I placed an order on June 23rd for a prescription Nexgard flea medication for my 5 dogs who all weigh the same. For like 2 weeks straight they’ve been suffering from fleas and they keep biting and scratching on their bodies. It’s so bad you can see the redness on their tails and backs. I usually order the same flea medication from 1-800 pet meds but I decided to try something new after I saw your holiday deals. I am now sure I will never order from here again.

    After I placed my order on June 23rd I understood that before the order can go through they have to contact my vet and confirm the prescription. It took them all the way to June 29TH to ask me to verify my information even though I had already placed an order from this site before and I had no problems. I called out to y’all and I confirmed my information to a nice lady at around 10:38 pm and she told me my order would be shipped out shortly.

    The next day I get an email saying that my order has been canceled because I needed to verify my info even though I already verified it. I quickly sent out an email saying that I already verified my information and provided proof of it. Chewy emailed back saying that I was right about me verifying my information and asked me if I wanted to place my order again so I asked them to replace my order. Then the next few days the same email is sent out that my order has been canceled and that I need to verify my info.

    This has been happening every day since June 29TH and today I Decided to call again and I asked them to place my order again because my dogs are almost at the point where they’re bleeding from so much biting and scratching. I ask the lady how much longer the order was gonna take and she told me they haven’t even contacted my vet about the prescription. And that they probably won’t be able to reach out to the vet until after the holidays. Then she said I’m probably not going to get my order not this week coming up but the next. When this whole time they could have contacted my vet after June 23rd when I originally placed my order. I’m sorry but I can’t wait two more weeks for my dogs to get their flea meds when I placed it almost two weeks ago. I'm really disappointed with the service and that you guys are extending my dogs' suffering.

    I’ve been buying my dog food through Chewy for a couple of years now and it’s always been a good experience with unbeatable prices and fast shipping. Recently unfortunately, my beloved dog Emma passed away. She was the cutest chi weenie ever and looked like a puppy still at 13 years old… Anyways, I had her medication on Autoship with Chewy for only about 2 months but had to call and cancel the Autoship which was due to be delivered in two days. They were so kind and instantly refunded me for the medication whether it had shipped already or not. They just made it all so easy for me at a really difficult time.

    A few days later my doorbell rang and I received flowers in a vase and was in complete shock when I read the note that Chewy had written in condolences for my loss. To some people pets are just pets but to my family they’ve always been just like our children so Emma will be sincerely missed and it really meant a lot that Chewy took the time to make it important. It was very wonderful of Chewy to go to the lengths they did for us, I still can’t believe they sent us flowers, thank you so much, I will forever be a customer.

    Wanted to use Chewy because I was told by a friend that they work great and offer good deals while saving the time of not having to go to the store. First experience was ok. Discounts were good. One part of the order was quick the other took over a week. They ask to make a profile of your animal so they can better help you shop. I searched for Kong treat toys for my puppy and they showed me the small size. I have had these toys for grown dogs and assumed the small would be just that. My puppy on profile is a Saint Bernard. I didn't even know they made them as small as it was. He would have swallowed it instantly.

    The next time I ordered more dog food and started an auto ship with it. I had just swapped cards on my account with what seemed no hiccups. Then 4 days later I wondered why my order still said "preparing shipment". I called and they said my account was flagged for fraud because I changed cards. Both cards have my name on them that match my account info. At the end of a ** conversation, the person says it has been fixed and my order should get moving. 2 days later, still nothing. I call again and let them have it and all they say is sorry, they sent a message to the fraud department and should be fixed soon. No discount offer for the problems, No guarantee it will be here expedited. Nothing. Don't waste your money with these people.

    Chewy went out of their way to fix my problem. My order included a liquid pond chemical as well as a variety of dog and cat food and litter. When it arrived, I found the pond chemical had been crushed in transit and leaked all over the contents of the box. Apparently, FedEx reboxed the contents throwing all of the items into a large plastic bag, further making worse the problem with several of the cans of food being smashed. When I called customer support, the agent went out of her way to correct the situation, including resending the entire order which arrived the next day! I couldn't ask for better help and support!     Worst service ever. I've been trying to get auto ship setup for a medication I'm paying for on a friend's account who can't afford it. It took four phone calls to try and get it set up correctly and they still screwed it up. I told them after the second or third call on their recorded line, with my friend being on the phone with me, to have their supervisors pull the previous calls and fix the problem. I never heard back from them.

    Today, they charged my card before the first of the month, thereby overdrawing my account. When I called to get this corrected, they can't find either of our accounts under her phone number, my phone number, her email address, my email address, my mailing address or her address so, they can't even find the order. They said they would have to cancel the order in order to refund the money and then set it up to ship again on the 1st. Now, how do you cancel an order you can't even find? How do you put back in an order you can't even find? I'm definitely ditching this company as right now I would trust them about as far as I can throw a pregnant elephant, uphill, with telekinesis. Their level of incompetence is astounding.

    I used to be a loyal monthly shopper on Chewy.com. However, recently someone hacked my account on Chewy and made four distinct purchases, three of which were addressed to other individuals in two states where I do not reside. While chewy was sympathetic to my plight and closed my account, they have not reimbursed me for three out of the four orders. I will never order from chewy again if I do not receive reimbursement. Their site is not a well protected site from fraud.

    Truly a wonderful company that is helpful, courteous, efficient, thoughtful and most definitely compassionate. They truly have a wonderful customer service dept. I’m also extremely moved by their compassion and thoughtfulness at the time I lost two of my beloved fur babies 2 months apart. My husband and I were presented with flowers and beautiful sympathy card for our first fur love and a gorgeous painting of our 2nd fur baby.     Why isn't no stars an option? They say they will send medication to my dog every month, but the second monthly shipment will arrive 5 days late. I asked for two things:

    1) That chewy change the schedule so that my girl will get her medication at least 5 days earlier in the future. They refused, saying that I have to make a special request every month that this be done.

    2) I asked that a five day supply be overnighted to me so that my girl would have some of the medication until the late shipment arrived. This was also refused.

    Chewy.com sucks. I hope I can find the same medication elsewhere.

    We had never had a puppy and heard chewy had everything we needed. We ordered several bags of puppy food and several puppy needs. We got our baby but unfortunately she passed away after a month. Chewy.com actually sent us flowers when we sent them an email… Bot even our best friends did this. Chewy.com is now our best friends and we have a new puppy so we will only order from Chewy.com.     We have ordered our dog's prescription food in an autoship from Chewy for years. The level of service had always been stellar and we have referred many people to them. Recently our dog was diagnosed with Cushing's. The medication is $200 a month from our vet vs. about $140 from Chewy. Ordered the meds and the order sent to the vet showed a FL address. We, and our vet are in NC. The vet could not fill a script that was supposedly being sent to another state. I called three times and each time was told that the address the company showed was indeed a NC address however each time they sent the order to the vet a FL address appeared.

    Asked to speak to a pharmacy rep and was transferred to Tricia. Tricia clearly was annoyed as she came on the oh in and verified the order. As I tried to explain she interrupted and told us “there is no FL address on file so I don’t know what your vet is talking about.” I told her that a rep from our vet was online with us to try to help solve the problem and she yelled at me and told me “she didn’t have to do a conference call and could help me when I could help myself.” She then kept threatening to hang up. I finally told her to do so and she did. I could not believe the level of service that she offered and nor could the vet- tech. Fortunately, Pet Co offers the same products we need for both the meds and the food. They offer the same autoship option and the prices are identical. I choose where to spend my money and I choose to spend it where customers are treated with some semblance of respect.

    I have used Chewy for years without incident. However, lately their operation and customer service has fallen. I ordered two scripts of heart worm for my two dogs. As usual they checked with my listed vet and received approval. My credit card was charged $200 and the order showed shipped. Three weeks later, I had not received my order. I contacted Chewy on a Friday and was told they would do an immediate re-order. I explained that I was leaving on a trip and had to have the meds by the following Friday and was told it would be expedited. No problem. The following Monday, I contacted them again as my account still showed nothing. They again told me they would re ship. That afternoon, I saw a fresh order that showed their pharmacists were working on it.

    On Tuesday, still no progress. I sent another email and was told that I needed to call the pharmacy department as it was a separate department and that they were waiting again for my vet's approval. When I asked if they told the vet they had lost the first order and that was the reason why they were seeking another approval, I was told "I don't know". Wednesday, still no progress. I need the meds in two more days. Sent another email of complaint and stated I wanted a customer service supervisor to detail to me exactly what they were doing and why the order was not being handled. Customer service has yet to get back to me.

    Customer service failed on all levels. This was their mistake and they are not being accountable or making any expedited attempt to resolve the problem. Oh, but they have their $200 for a month now.

    I used Chew to order special, doctor-prescribed food and insulin when my little guy became diabetic. Not to run out, I purchased a case in advance of my reoccurring order. When we lost him this week, I called to have the order discontinued and request to return 1 unopened case. The lady over text chat told me to donate the food to a shelter and immediately credited my credit card. This was impressive. What was over the top was the next day when they sent us flowers and a lovely note for our loss. Unbelievable customer service! They have a customer for life!!

    I am extremely disappointed in the time it took for me to receive a vital prescription for my dog, Cloe. I placed an order on May 31 and I was due to receive it June 12. It finally came the next day. And that is only because I called to find out why it hadn't shipped yet. That's 13 days, not 1-3 days for meds as it states on their website. They held up my order of **, a vital medication my dog needs for her high blood pressure and Glaucoma, because of another order for another dog that is non-vital. I suppose they were trying to save shipping costs. As a result, I completely ran out of the medication waiting for my delivery. This medication is essential for for my dog's survival.

    I called twice and have written them three times. I got responses such as sorry for the confusion, I understand your concerns, and thank you for your feedback. I have used Chewy for years. I can get dog treats in 48 hours, but forget getting medications. I have removed all of my dog's future medication orders since I have lost all confidence in Chewy's ability to deliver them in a timely manner. I have switched to a more reliable source.

    Used Chewy.com Pharmacy for medication for 2 dogs. Initial order was great. Processed easily, received in a timely manner, affordable. Then I tried to reorder. Placed the order, notified it was delivered - not delivered to me. Placed the order again, making certain address, etc..were correct - notified it was delivered - again - not received. One of the medications is serious heart medication for my dog - so at this point had to obtain some locally or would have lost the the dog. More communication with Chewy over the course of TWO MORE WEEKS - meds sent to wrong address - twice. Verified on phone - it is coming. 2 days later - message - need to verify address again - will go out in 1-2 days.

    Finally - last notification - will have to verify with your Vet (Vet had already verified 3 times - they were afraid I was overdosing my dog). Meds were never sent, and communication within the phone/pharmacy - was nonexistent. While those answering the calls were always polite - at no time was any concern exhibited by anyone - like have you gotten meds...NEVER. Finally have gotten verbal assurance that my money will be refunded - not yet happened. If you are in need of any pet medication in a timely manner, and from a reliable source - I would strongly urge you to go elsewhere - serious pet conditions are not addressed appropriately.

    If there had been a Zero star, I would have chosen it. I've spent thousands on food/RX at Chewy.com and have been a satisfied customer. However, my last shipment contained several heavy bags of sub-Q fluids for a sick pet and three small cardboard boxes containing Rx. The Rx boxes weren't separated from the heavy bags, so they got smashed. Initially Chewy agreed to replace the Rx. Now they want me to send them the damaged boxes before they replace the Rx. So I'm inconvenienced because their packers screwed up? Petty and cheap doesn't cut it.

    We've used Chewy for almost 10 years, and have always had an excellent experience - very large inventory of prescription and non-prescription items at great prices and extremely fast, consistent 2-day delivery. And their customer service is incredible. Two recent examples: 1) When FedEx failed to deliver a Chewy box of food, etc. on the expected date, Chewy immediately sent a second box of all the items and told us to donate them if the first box ever arrived (which it did and we did), and 2) We recently had to say goodbye to our 15 year old dog; when we notified Chewy online, we almost immediately received a long, heartfelt email from a customer service rep, and then they sent flowers to our home. We can't say enough about good things about Chewy, and have recommended them to everyone we know who has pets.

    I have ordered multiple products from Chewy and have found their prices to be the best. Recently I have been ordering prescription medicine for my dog. Chewy is better than the site attached to my Vet's website. They are less expensive, quicker and friendlier. We recently lost a pet and I had to cancel my order. There was no hassle and no problem to do so. Surprisingly two days later We received flowers from Chewy...signed by the staff member I spoke with.     I was a Chewy.com customer for years. I could rely on them to get my order right and received it timely. A couple of months ago I started having issues receiving my orders in two days as was their policy. Sometimes it took five days. Recently I received a call from OnTrac, the new carrier used by Chewy.com. They said they couldn’t deliver because they couldn’t find my address. It turned out that their system had a misspelling in the street name. The girl corrected their error and told me I wouldn’t receive the order until Tuesday since Monday was a holiday. I told her that it was unacceptable as I needed the order to feed three dogs. She said she would request a Saturday delivery but couldn’t guarantee it.

    Unfortunately the brand I have been feeding them was specific to Chewy and could not be purchased in a store. Switching the food suddenly to another brand would cause intestinal upset. Since I make some of their breakfast food and mix it in with some kibble I knew that was the only option. So I went to the grocery store to buy what was needed to get me through the weekend. I then received an email from Chewy stating my order was delayed and if I had any questions to call their customer service number. So I called it. The person answering my call mumbled something. I could not understand a word he said and told him so, he repeated it and I got about half of what he said the second time. Enough to know I was talking to a representative of Chewy.

    I told him I needed my order delivered by Saturday. He said that once the order leaves Chewy warehouse and was in the hands of the carrier there was nothing That chewy could do. He gave me the number to OnTrac. Their representative said that he would request the driver go back to pick up the order and assured me that food orders were handled with more expediency than other orders. He assured me someone would call me back. No one did. I gave Chewy another call. The young lady was apologetic and offered me a partial refund. Since that would not resolve the issue, I declined her offer. It has become obvious to me that Chewy doesn’t care about my pets as much as they claim to, or as much as they used to. I will select a different brand of food to gradually change my dogs to and I will no longer use Chewy.com for my pets needs.

    I have never had a company wait 3 days before telling me my order is running late. Then when I reply, "Well where is it currently" I received an email back stating it hasn't shipped. It's dog food. Apparently you have to call them and give them verbal authorization to ship you things but only after they already said your orders confirmed and ready to go. And they know they messed up and haven't really shipped it and need an excuse as to why they didn't. Never had bought one thing I have ever ordered need verbal verification to send it. It isn't a national security threat, it's dog food dude.

    I was out of town for almost 2 weeks due to my father's passing and while I was out of town I received a notification that 2 of my autoships were delivered. When I arrived home, I only found 1 package so I checked the app and found that my dog's heartworm/flea meds were delivered to my old address as I had recently moved. I called customer service and let them know what happened and they were so understanding and issued a replacement order for the meds. Today, I received a flower delivery with a personalized note saying that they are sorry for my loss and that they understand this is a difficult time for me and my family. I couldn't believe it! They truly went above and beyond to show that they truly appreciate their customers and I'll continue using them and recommending them to anyone I know with pets. I got two defective product from them. They apologize SMH said they will send me a refund. Never got it. Call back, said they'll send me a refund, never got it. Then they told me in addition to the refund they're going to send me the product I originally ordered at no cost. I was amazed like okay wow. Then that never came either.     I used to order from Chewy.com on a regular basis. My orders began taking well over a week to receive rather than their advertised 1 to 3 days as advertised. I gave them their final chance yesterday and I received a shipping notification today that I would not receive the order for 7 days. They are always full of excuses. This time they claim that the order is coming from Florida. In that case they should be shipping 3-day Express but of course they don't. I will continue to purchase from my new supplier who get my orders to me within 2 days. Chewy is shady and has false advertisements.

    Chewy was contacted after I received many updates from FedEx regarding shipping of pet food and supplies. My order went from Ocala, FL (Chewy headquarters) to Kernersville, NC (which is only about 2 hours from our home in NC). After sitting in Kernersville at a FedEx it then went on a truck to Hutchins, TX where it sat for a few days, then to Tuscaloosa, AL where it sat for a day, then back to Kernersville, NC then finally to Durham, NC where it was delivered 9 days after ordering. If Chewy is going to advertise 1 to 2 day shipping then do it! I contacted Chewy reps on 2 occasions and they both told me a whole different story. One told me if I did not receive the box by Thursday at 10:00 PM a credit would be issued to my credit card because "that was not their way of doing business".

    The 2nd rep told me they were sorry for it all and would give me a 10% (up to a $10 maximum) of a discount for my next order - even when I told them they lost me as a customer. This is NOT the first time this has occurred. Two more instances of bad delivery service and Chewy informed me they have no control over that. Yes, they do -- they can stop their contract with FedEx anytime they want. After getting so many complaints in NC one would think they would reconsider their shipping company.

    Another instance I received a box so badly damaged that it probably came from Chewy warehouse like that - the food was opened up and rancid which destroyed all the contents of the box. It was riddled with worms and smelled so bad! They did credit me for the whole box and resent the items within 36 hours. I did tell them this time around that I can't have this any longer. I depend on Chewy and so do my pets. They have lost me as a good customer for over 5 years.

    I'm done with reps that misrepresent Chewy and I'm done with anything to do with them any longer. This last shipping incident was the last! They tried to tell me that they were looking for the items in their warehouse and just "accidentally" put in the shipping information. I don't find that statement truthful because I had a tracking number and it was the same all the way through. Each warehouse in each part of the country issues tracking numbers. That box traveled all over the Southeast. I'm done with the awful shipping lately and the excuses of Chewy. And I'm tired of their "cutesy" talk - it's been "ruff" for a few days, etc. Yeah - I'd say so. Chewy is done for me! I'll go to a competitor or I'll travel around in my area to make sure I get what I need for my wonderful pets!

    I have been a customer for over a year, my dog's medication, food and clothing, supplies came from Chewy and my cat's clothing. In March 2021 I had spoke to customer service about my dog's meds. Not to charge or ship before the 3rd. I was assured I wouldn’t be charged until that date, I also requested a 15 day supply instead of 30 day. Explaining if it was charged earlier and more than 15 tablets it would create an overdraft and other problems like short on rent. The meds shipped before the 1st, it created a $45 overdraft and since they sent 30 days it also cost me a late fee on rent. To date their mistake has now cost me $240. I spoke to a pharmacy supervisor who refunded half the meds and also sent me 15 days worth of a costly med for April.

    I contacted the company a few days ago and the pharmacy supervisor was out of line. She told me they aren’t responsible for how I choose to take care of my bank account and she will not do anything to make up for my loss. The way she spoke to me is completely unacceptable for someone in her position. I’m contacting the Attorney General and filing a claim against this horrible company for not taking care of the losses due to their customer service person's negligence, as well as the pharmacy supervisor. I’ve since found my dog's costly medication elsewhere for almost $20 cheaper per month.

    Several times with my order I did not receive. I call to where my order is and find it has not been sent. WHAT. I PAID. My animals need to eat. Several hundred dollars is quite a bit of money for me. If I would have not called and waited how long? Why? They need to hire or not advertise 2-3 days shipping. That is wrong.     This company really goes out of its way to provide not only quality customer service BUT thoughtful caring gestures as well. As far as products go, this is the company I rely on hands-down. But what prompted me to write this overdue review is this- bear with me. I lost my mom a year ago. And then in the most tragic of accidents, our beloved Ruby Louise, a mixed terrier, in November of 2021. I had just purchased a DNA test from Chewy for my daughter's Christmas present. I called Chewy to ask about returning the test, I was so devastated and it was pricey. They said to donate to our shelter (I did) and refunded the money - but that's not it...

    One of my mom's favorite plant was her Christmas Cactus that she loved to display every holiday. When she passed, we gave it to her former caretaker. Lo and behold, around Christmas, Chewy sent me a condolence letter about Ruby along with...you guessed it - A Christmas Cactus. The same day - my mom's cactus' new owner, sent a picture of it blooming to me. I was a bucket of messy tears all over the place. I was so overwhelmed by the Kismet and the sentiment of Chewy. I think this company is so great.

    I am so impressed by this Company! In addition to great selection, prices and quick free delivery their customer service is above and beyond. Recently one of our pets passed away. I had just ordered food and wanted to return it. They refunded me and said I could donate it rather than have to ship back. On top of that they sent a floral bouquet to my home expressing sympathy for our loss. Such a nice touch, something you do not see in many companies anymore.     I have been shopping with Chewy for a while now. My orders usually ship with 1 to 2 busy days. Now it's been getting longer. My last order was a week out with pet food in the order for my pet. To where I had to go out a buy food for my pet. So it was more expensive for me thinking that the shipping like it says on the website 1 to 2 shipping days. So please if you are ordering food for your pet. Your best bet is going to the pet store. An unhappy customer.

    I write this completely exasperated, irate, writhing in pain since I am covered in fireant bites. As are my 3yr old child and 3 dogs. Once again, my dog food arrived completely infested in fireants. Now, so is my home even after spending 3hrs trying to clean them out. This same thing happened to me in Oct. It is apparent that the warehouse is being careless unloading these since I am finding box cutter slits in the bags and the boxes are then not shipped completely sealed. This was the final straw. I am done with Chewy. The savings have become negligible, if even at all, and I will not shake this horrific experience any time soon. My poor son has been whimpering and scratching all night. Please process a refund immediately. This was the final straw - goodbye chewy. I hope you step it up for the next potential victim's sake.

    My two dogs take **, at a combined cost of $150+ every month by autoship. About a year ago, I caught Chewy lying about getting approval from the vet. When I called them on it, they admitted their error and gave me a credit. Now they've done it again. My vet sent me a copy of the email approval they sent last week. Maybe they have new customer service policies or management, but now they insist that they didn't get approval until today (when I told them I will hold while they call the vet). And when I asked them to overnight the meds (for my extremely itchy dogs), they say the best they can do is 1-2 day shipping. UNBELIEVABLE AND UNACCEPTABLE.

    Chewy is the one place you can get all of your pet needs from toys and foods to medications. They are excellent in getting your shipments to you quickly and correctly. If there is a problem, they make it right immediately. They have a great selection at the best prices.     Chewy is one of a few online sites that I use for my animal's needs. Anyone that knows me knows that my animals are my kids in every sense of the word. My Birthday is on March 5th and, on this day, I went to open my apartment door and noticed a small package from Chewy, however, I didn't remember ordering anything. I opened the package and saw a wrapped gift inside along with a card addressed to me. My initial thought was a friend used an old Chewy package to surprise me with a gift.

    When I opened the card it was actually from the staff at Chewy. I proceeded to unwrap the gift and saw the back of a wooded canvas. When I turned the canvas over, it was a personal drawing of my cat, Tigger. My mouth dropped! It looked exactly like him to a T. All the way from the small stripes on his head to the shape of his mouth and chin and the color of his eyes. They used his picture profile from my account to do an actual drawing of him. It was absolutely amazing!! So much so that I began to cry and proceeded to message all my friends and family about what I had just received.

    I've been in the customer service field most of my life and am currently a sales coordinator for both Hilton and Marriott hotels. I was never so impressed with any retailer as I was in that moment. The time and thoughtfulness behind this gift was beyond any words I can bring forth. In that simple act Chewy made an impression on me that I don't believe anyone else will be able to top. Seriously, to all those at Chewy, and especially to the person who drew my Tiggy, thank you so very much! I love this picture and this has sincerely touched my heart!!

    Took one of my 6 fur babies to vet today. Doctor noted my baby's teeth needed attention. With the supply chain problems, it's difficult to find supplies without going from store to store. But I was able to go to Chewy.com and get all I needed in one spot as I sat in my home. And with free shipping!!!!

    I have an account with Chewy and have ordered primarily cat food and cat litter many times. However, several months have passed during which Chewy has not had in stock the cat foods that I usually purchase (usually Friskies wet cat foods, boxes of 32 or 48 5 oz. cans. In fact, they have been out of stock of up to two dozen cat foods that they continuously advertise and that I would purchase if they were available. So, I either purchase only cat litter, or I simply log off and seek to purchase cat food through Amazon.

    Also, the "Temporarily Out of Stock" notification includes an option to notify me when available. I have at times checked off the box. When I recently received an email notification that an item was back in stock, I quickly went to the website, yet, the item remains out of stock. I am truly sorry to give such a poor rating, however, this is an ongoing problem. Additionally, every order of cat food that I received has contained one or more cans that were dented.

    I recently purchased a dander remover from Chewy.com. I meant to get a dog dander remover but received a cat dander remover instead. The bottles look very similar, and I'm pretty sure the mistake was on My end. I called Chewy.com customer service and spoke with Brian. He helped me get the correct item and refunded shipping costs even though it was likely my own error. He also advised that I give the product I had to a shelter at my own convenience.

    We spoke pleasantly about our pets during this process, and it is Very refreshing to speak with another Human Being on a customer service line that Actually cares about his customer and the pets his company is providing for. This is literally the Best customer service experience I think I have ever had. A polite human being that cares about his or her customer on the receiving end of a corporate customer service line is practically Unheard of in this day and age.     I have been an autoship customer for 3 plus years. The only change I make is when they decide to discontinue a product and I have to find a substitute. Starting a few months ago I received usual confirmation email saying my order was shipped. But when it arrived items were missing. When I inquired, was told items were out of stock. I questioned why I got confirmation email saying all items on order had shipped or why I wasn't notified some were out of stock. No satisfactory answer given. Over a 3 month period, 3 times different items were not included. Never explained why or given notice before items arrived.

    This week normal autoship confirmation was emailed to me giving arrival date. Did not arrive date specified. Received email after scheduled arrival date saying only items "delayed" (no reason or explanation). Since then have been given 3 more arrival dates each a few days in the future. Can not count on them shipping what they say they will and when they say it will arrive. I now have to go to store to buy dog food as I am out even though it was supposed to be autoshipped last week.

    The purpose of autoship is to not run out but that requires Chewy to do its part, which it does not now seem capable of. In the past year fulfillment service has gone downhill. I attributed some of issues to Covid but this latest problem of not having autoship order delivered near the date promised has caused me to lose all confidence in their abilities. Theft of product has never happened while I have been a customer. I most resent being sent emails saying your autoship order listing items is scheduled for a particular day and when that day arrives, only then do I find out some items aren't included, or worse yet, nothing is delivered. Aggravation is compounded by then being given subsequent incorrect delivery dates, and all without a reason for.

    If you read some of the other reviews about Chewy, you will see that they will stop orders, and do refunds, and send flowers when a pet dies. Mine is a little different. I ordered a no-pull harness for my GSD, When I received it I realized I had ordered the wrong size. I called to see if they would allow me to return it. The CSR (I'm sorry I did not get her name) told me to donate it to a local shelter and that she would refund the money to my card. The money was back in my account in three days. What other company does that when it is totally my fault?!?! The rest of their service is just as excellent.

    I've ordered from Chewy for almost as long as I've had my dogs. Most times they're cheaper, sometimes they're not. I'm a bargain shopper for sure, but the service is worth every penny over the price of other sites. When PetSmart bought them I worried they'd slip into a typical customer service pattern - thankfully, that didn't happen. I love my hand-written holiday card every year and how they always address my dogs in emails ("Give extra belly rubs to Sophie from us!").

    Last summer I totally messed up an order right before leaving for vacation. I DESPISE making customer service calls, EXCEPT to Chewy. The rep was patient, kind, and fixed everything. We even chatted about our pets while she corrected my mess. She followed up a couple of days later to tell me everything was ok because she knew I'd be away. You just don't get service like that anymore. Other companies would benefit from paying attention to the way Chewy does business. In a time when customer loyalty can be so fickle, Chewy has a lifelong customer in me!

    Chewy is more than a company I buy from. I had recently told Chewy our beloved cat, Butterscotch had passed over the rainbow bridge.     I have been ordering from Chewy for years. I can only say, that the customer service people I have talked to about orders and been really nice and helpful to me. I love the service, because the prices are really good and so convenient. You get 5 percent off your order if you autoship. I normally get my orders within 3 days of my order, which is nice. As for the products, I am really happy for them. It is so nice to have the orders of canned pet food and bags of food delivered to your door. It is so much easier to get the heavy bags from the porch into the house than from the car. Can pet food can be very heavy, as well.     On Jan 21, my dog's insulin was auto shipped. It was suppose to be overnighted and arrive Sat, Jan 22. That did not happen. FedEx held it in Memphis for 3 days for no apparent reason. (Btw, FedEx has been completely unreliable lately with this important delivery). With no delivery update, I contacted Chewy yesterday early afternoon to see if they could help. A very nice CS agent talked with the pharmacy and said that they would expedite a replacement but if I happen to receive that original shipment, and I felt it was safe, go ahead and use it for my dog. If I didn't feel safe, just throw it away.

    So today, I get an email from FedEx that the original order is on the truck and will be delivered today. Great! Well, after not receiving it, I checked the tracking. Chewy STOPPED the delivery and requested the medication be returned to them. I checked my order status (replacement) on Chewy's app and it says "preparing to ship". SOOOOOO, not only have they NOT shipped my dog's replacement insulin, they ensured that I won't receive the original order. This is unacceptable and I will NEVER give them another penny. I did talk to a pharmacy supervisor and let her know that lack of insulin could make my elderly dog sick or even cause his death. If that were to happen, this company would be responsible and I would hold them liable.

    I had been ordering my sweet baby girl a special food from Chewy for several months and it was so easy and always on time. One day she passed away, she was a rescue and very, very old, so I had to cancel the subscription for her special food.     I have purchased my dog and cat food from Chewy for many many years, but not once has the food product I use most often ever go on sale unless in 5lb bags, I always purchase the largest 24 to 28lb bags for I have an 80lb and a 10lb dog. I am becoming very skeptical that Chewy might just be keeping track of each customer’s brand preferences and never show that product for sale when that specific customer logs in.     I will cut companies some slack due to the weather and absence issues. That said, Chewy is just can't seem to get ADM Senior Glow delivered to my home anymore. This morning, I contacted ADM customer service and they provided an alternate distributor, but it is already too late for me to get the feed and I am in the process of switching to another that I know is available locally in many stores where I live.

    I have been trying to order ADM Senior Glo horse feed from them since Jan 4. That order is in limbo. Chewy shows it shipped on Jan 7 with ETA of Jan 9, which is still greyed out meaning they do not have a record of it being delivered. One replacement order was allegedly shipped and received. I was at home when I got the notification and went outside, checked all around my house and yard, checked with my neighbors. It looks like it was delivered to a completely different state. I called and they created another order on Tuesday, Jan 11.

    Even though they claim the item has shipped and is on its way, if you check the FedEx details, only the label has been created and FedEx says the information will be updated as soon as they receive the item to ship. So when you get the notice from Chewy, and they say the item "shipped", they mean the label was created, not that the item is in transit. I am supposed to receive the item on Saturday, Jan 15, but FedEx shows they haven't even received the package yet.

    Chewy's only solution to orders that never ship or get "stuck" or mis-delivered is to create another $0.00 order that also goes into a "label printed" limbo that never goes anywhere. I had to take off work yesterday and make an emergency trip to start mixing in another feed I can get locally because switching feed too quickly for a horse can result in colic. I am done with Chewy, and also with the brand of horse feed.

    Been using Chewy for as long as I can remember. Never had any problems but today they lost a very valuable customer!! I submitted an order on Dec 22, 2021 and it is now Jan 11th and I haven’t received my order. I repurchased it just because I needed soft senior food. I also called Chewy and spoke to a MANAGER named KAT. I provided her with a order# and all the info I needed and I’m being called a liar and told I never ordered the item!! I informed them on my app I can prove food was ordered and my bank account that money was withdrawn!! Still refused to help me or replace my items!!

    I have 5 dogs, 1 squirrel, 2 bearded dragons, 2 leopard geckos, and a ton of fish. Needless to say how I was treated on this call Chewy lost my business!! I DO NOT deserve to be treated so horribly and accused of LYING when I had all the proof on hand!! Horrible customer service and because how KAT the customer service manager treated me I am forced to leave this review, and will never shop with them again.

    On August 4th 2021 I lost my Little 4 legged Daughter, Titi (Maltese 16 years young). I miss her ever so much...Titi was the Heart Beat of this Home...She brought Life, Happiness and a Feeling that I just can't put into words. Not a Day goes by that I miss her...I look at pictures...videos and for a split second it helps and then reality sinks in.

    My debit card had been hacked and I had to get a new one and because I have auto ship I forgot to give the new one to Chewy. As soon as I saw the email that my debit card had failed I called them to give them my new card number. I received notice of shipment that was going to be delivered on Tuesday January 4th. I immediately thank them for the delivery and told them that Riley would be without his only and favorite treat for one day and before I could blink they had sent another shipment order notification that it would be delivered on Monday and that Riley would not have to go without his favorite treat at all. I also had an experience when my 17-year-old cavi died when I canceled my autoship and I was completely shocked when I received the most beautiful bouquet of flowers from Chewy!     I ordered & paid for cat food. I'd been shopping with them for a while. My package was due Friday, December 31 2021. I received an email from them stating it had been delivered that morning. I called our Security office from work. They had no record of it. They searched twice. I had several chats & a phone call to Chewy while I was at work. I was told by phone & in a chat if it didn't show up by 8pm they would re send it. Since they didn't try to help track at Fedex, I had to do that also (again from work). They had no idea. I called them back at 7pm & was told they would re send it. I didn't hear from them by phone or email.

    Today is New Year's & I spent a few hours running to different Stores. Couldn't find much....It's a holiday. I contacted Chewy earlier today to find out if they resent it.... No they didn't. Turns out they refunded me & they're out of stock. Here I was at work doing their job as if I work for Chewy. They're out of stock on almost everything but they told me & I recorded the call....they would re send the order but of course they can't. They wouldn't do anything to help me file a claim with Fedex. I guess they think it's self service now.

    Don't misread. Chewy.com as a company is great. No complaints on the company itself. The FedEx shipping they are using on the other hand is making me regret my decisions. FedEx had multiple excuses when my deliveries aren't going to show up almost monthly. Again I say.     I have been using Chewy for years for food and prescription deliveries for my Rudy Bear. Not only is their pricing the best, but they deliver everything extremely fast. I have always received ample communication if things are out of stock or delayed. I've accidentally ordered the wrong food and when I tried to return it, they told me to donate the food to a shelter and gave me a full refund. Every experience I've had with them has been overwhelmingly positive.

    My Rudy Bear, unfortunately, passed away last week and I missed an auto-ship to cancel. When I realized the order was placed, I reached out to see if I could cancel the order. Michael immediately shared his condolences and canceled the order as well as all future auto-ship orders. He was kind and sincere at a time when I needed it most. A few short days later, I received a surprise package containing a bouquet of yellow roses from Michael and Chewy. My husband and I were blown away by this gesture as it was totally unexpected but so very appreciated. We are not anywhere near ready for another pup, but when the time comes, we will come back as loyal customers. I also highly recommend Chewy to all of my friends and family for their pets' needs.

    I'll try to keep this brief. Recently we lost two of our fur babies Mugsy and Hazy about 2 months apart. So we decided we did not need our autoship order from Chewy. So I canceled it online and sent a message explaining why we canceled. Well to our surprise yesterday we received a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a heartfelt condolences note. We were blown away. We definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future. Prices are comparable to Walmart and service has been topnotch for the couple of years we used them.     I cannot express how amazing this company and the people working at this company are. There was a huge ordeal with my order (at no fault of Chewy, it was actually my horrible vet's fault) and they handled everything and were so kind and helpful even at times when I was freaking out, scared for the well-being of my pets. They are just so kind and sympathetic. I was calling and calling pretty much every day and everyone was so kind and understanding and helpful. I literally spent 10 minutes trying to find a place to write a good review because I am so impressed. And today I just received a call that my biweekly order might be delayed because of holidays and that they are willing to ship it early. Like that is so great of the company to call me and let me know ahead of time and try to help out. This is an amazing company with amazing people and I cannot recommend these guys enough!     Gotta give Chewy.com a huge shoutout. Several days ago, a subscription delivery of dog food from Chewy showed up at my door. I had neglected to cancel it after my 13 year old Maltese, Lici’s, passing the previous month. I called customer service and talked to “Kevin”. He couldn’t have been nicer and was sincerely empathetic to my loss. He refunded my purchase and suggested that I donate the bag of dog food to our local shelter in Lici’s name. THEN, a few days later, a beautiful flower arraignment arrived, from Chewy and Kevin, expressing their condolences. Damn. This is how you build loyalty in your customer base. I can never forget the kindness I felt from this big company that could easily, easily overlook my trauma. They took the time and spent the money and I’ll be grateful to the very end.

The second was a couple days ago I opened my box and my bag of cat food ripped open. I hate customer service but what. I called Chewy. I look forward to it. Very nice. Very respectful.     I recently removed my cat from my pets profile list at Chewy.com because she passed. When I did that, I was asked the reason why. I replied that my cat had passed. A week went by and I noticed I had received a refund from Chewy for some meds that I had purchased for my cat before she died. Chewy had quietly refunded that purchase on their own and without my request. I am blown away by the kind and thoughtful refund gesture made by Chewy. I have never seen such class and kindness from any merchant in all of my years on the planet. Thank you Chewy for your selfless kindness and genuine customer appreciation. I will never ever forget!

    Customer service that sticks to a script over chat and isn't helpful. I placed an order and noticed that even though the item hasn't shipped, the price has gone down. When I utilized the chat service to both check in on why it hasn't shipped and to see if a price adjustment was possible, I was told that it was out of their hands. Very unclear that 3rd party vendors can sell on the Chewy website and the fact that I can't even cancel the order to take advantage of a sale is ridiculous. I would have to wait to receive the product, then initiate a return to basically receive a price adjustment since their policy is so strict. No ability to simply cancel the order despite the fact that the order has not even shipped. Complete waste of time. I am officially done purchasing with Chewy.

    I had placed 4 orders with Chewy, however, 2 of those were for a senior pet that died shortly thereafter. Chewy not only refunded the money but had me donate the food bought for him to a shelter. Added to that they sent us a bouquet of flowers in his memory. Then I placed 2 new orders for kittens but got adult cats. Again, they fully refunded my money and asked me to donate the food. No questions asked. I am 60 years old and have NEVER dealt with such a great company. Just when I thought customer service was non-existent they proved me wrong. I no longer buy food locally at big box stores it all comes from Chewy.com. Great job Chewy!!!

    Dear Chewy, I am a veterinarian who actively supports you and your services routinely but in my personal and professional life. I recently ordered a product online and had my staff approve the prescription item the very next day. I waited for the approval email but never received it. I then waited a few days and the rest of my order (all non prescription items) were delivered. I logged into the portal on Sat to confirm my order was approved. I called customer service and was advised by 2 different reps that my order was cancelled because my vet didn't approve the product. I was then told that it was cancelled because it timed out after 5 days (also not true because the order was placed and I called within 5 days).

    I understand mistakes happen but 1. Please take accountability for your mistakes and stop blaming the vets who support you. 2. Make it right. Don't just argue with me then offer me 10% off after I tell you what shoddy customer service you are providing. By the time I asked for some kind of compensation I was already so frustrated I vowed to never order scripts from you again.

    Signed up as a new customer with Chewy.com on Friday 11/12. I ordered some items as a one time purchase and then signed up for their autoship option for my cat's litter and food. On their website, they have advertised that it's 1-3 day shipping. I received a portion of my items on Sat. 11/13 but some items were missing. Checked my order on my account and the remaining items are scheduled to arrive on 11/17. So their guarantee of 1-3 days shipping is a lie.

    Secondly, Sunday night I was checking my bank account online and noticed many charges from chewy.com. I had not ordered anything else besides my original first order. Confused, I call their customer service and was told that chewy.com will do what they call pre-authorization charges when items are shipped from their warehouses. The rep told me that since my items were shipped from multiple warehouses, that I should expect to see many charges, but that they would "drop off" in a few days. So I have all these chewy.com charges to my account, along with the initial payment that was taken when I first made the purchase. None of these charges add up to the original purchase amount. I've heard of gas stations doing pre-authorization because you will not necessarily know how much gas you will get. But for an online pet store to do pre-authorization charges is ridiculous. Canceled my auto-ship order and will never order from them again.

    I don't write many reviews but I want people to know what a wonderful company Chewy is. We have been using them for around 2 years. We normally shopped at Pet Smart but my daughter used Chewy for her dog food delivery. I went online and found out the food I bought was cheaper than at the store. Plus the toys are a whole lot cheaper and my animals love their toys. I like that you can set up auto-ship and not have to worry about placing an order each month. It's really easy to add to your auto-ship if you want to order a toy, extra treats, or a bed they have it all. I usually get my shipment the next day. Although I have had to wait for 2 days before. Shipment is truly extra fast.

    One month we received our dry dog food, and it had an opening in it. So we called customer service to find out how to exchange the bag. Unlike other companies, there was no wait to speak to a customer service representative. The representative told us not to worry about returning the bag. To throw it out and they would get us a new one out that day. They also refunded the price of the food just for the trouble. Tell me what other company does that.

    My 84-year-old mother started using Chewy because of the great service I had received, plus she didn't have to go out each month for supplies for her dog. She has an older dog and ordered a set of steps to help her get up on the bed. These were not cheap stairs. They were made of wood and cost over $100.00. Well, I went over to put them together for her, but they were way too big for her bedroom. So we called Chewy and explained the situation. They immediately refunded my mother's money, (she had it in 2 days) and told us to give the stairs to someone who might want them or to a local animal association that could use them. I recommend Chewy to everyone I know or talk to that has a pet. I love Chewy and their customer care is wonderful!

    I'm not one to leave reviews but it is my pleasure to praise the help and 'above and beyond' treatment that we received from Chewy! We have been receiving a "Prescription Diet" food via autoship for our arthritic dog for 6 months. The process was easy to set-up and manage. I had just received notice that my last shipment had left the warehouse-when a quick decline in our Boxer's health called for us to make the decision of easing the burdens of his pain. We scheduled a peaceful 'in home' euthanasia.

    The next day I cancelled my autoship, contacted Chewy, asked how to return my current shipment and collect a refund. Expecting to be given the runaround, I was very surprised to be contacted by customer service agent Teresa G. She had typed a very heartfelt condolence letter. She informed me she was trying to intercept delivery and had initiated a refund (which I received in record time). All of this took place on October 28th...on October 30th we opened our door to a beautiful flower arrangement. The condolence tag was signed by Chewy Customer Service. I was very touched. The service, help and personal contact we received at our time of grief was very unexpected and very much appreciate. A 5 star review is very graciously bestowed upon Chewy by the entire ** family.     I have been ordering from Chewy for years and I choose Chewy over any other method of getting supplies for my cats. The autoship makes keeping up with their litter/food/misc. easy & the reminders of when the next shipment is coming up allows me to push it back if I don't need the order at that time. I also save money using autoship so it's a win-win. Their prices are competitive and I've found products with them that I couldn't find through any of my local pet stores. Their customer service is quick to respond to messages & I have always had my issue resolved. I recently ordered a new cat food flavor and my cats reacted poorly to the rice in it. Not only was Chewy willing to allow me to refund the full boxes & the loose cans from the opened box, but they recommended I donate the extra cans to a local shelter and did not ask me to return the food. I see Chewy as a business that genuinely values animals and providing quality products to animals.

    Keep in mind that I am writing this review to WARN others about this '3 day delivery guaranteed' policy. I buy dog food, and lots of it. I buy well over $400 a month, and on subscribe and save. The first delivery came right on time within the 3 day delivery guarantee as promised. When it was time for the next subscribe and save delivery, not so lucky. Not only did they not have the dog food (yes, hard to believe that of all things, they were out of stock on something I had on order for subscribe and save four weeks prior), but the next time my delivery came up it was a 6 day delivery wait! Not 3, but 6!

    Today, it was puppy food. Yes, once again, a $241. order of dog food with only a partial delivery today which is the 4th day since the order was made, and the remaining half will not arrive until tomorrow. Now, I don't know about you, but most folks know what the results are when dogs have their diets changed suddenly. When I run out, it's disastrous. There is a thick brown sludge in every nook and cranny of their dog run and ball playing field. Now mind you, I live very remotely. About 1 hour away from a major city, and finding the specific dog food that I buy is not generally an in-store option.

    I understand that Chewy is an AZ company. And I am a native Arizonan. Normally I would be quite proud of this fact. But, sadly, after calling Chewy, complaining, trying to fix it so it is more convenient for them to get my much and only truly needed commodity on time, they continue to drop the ball and disappoint. I'm tired of hosing down sludge. And with bag dog food, I don't like to 'store' specifically due to the fact that it can become stale very quickly in AZ under our severe heat conditions. There's just no excuse.

    A dog company should at least be prompt and always have dog food in stock. It's a Purina brand, for crying out loud. We're not talking puppy pads, puppy toys, cute dog Halloween costumes. Just good old fashioned dog food. The breakfast of Champions! Not to mention honoring their 3 day delivery guarantee. The necessities should always arrive on time. When this company first started out they were much more efficient, and like all companies that grow and become in demand, they start dropping the ball. So, it's back to the competition for me. I know I will never win this battle, but Chewy will have one less auto-delivery customer because of it. I know it won't break their bank, but it makes me feel better.

    We have had ongoing problems with Chewy, but they have always seemed to take care of the problems. Namely, ordering dog food received with holes in the bags. This happened numerous times. It seemed when the next contact was made to address a new problem, they would say "let me review the notes" and that was reason for them to be a bit hostile toward a customer who has experienced quite a few problems? This last event was enough to say "no more". We had placed a 200 dollar order on October 16th, 2020. Generally, we have always received the product within 3 days. That is the main reason why this disabled person orders through them. I immediately noticed the orders were broken up in two shipments between FL and AZ. No problem. However, while the FL order had been shipped out, the AZ order was just sitting in AZ.

    When we were given the arrival dates for shipping, My pet was not able to wait for the 20th. I contacted them through chat and asked "why" the delay? I was told because of inventory. I thought that was weird since the dog food was made here in TX. I said "why didn't you have the courtesy to post something on your website?" (Were they worried people would not wait and therefore go to the local pet store?) They told me they would only post something if the inventory was out. That doesn't make any sense because late is late. "1- 3 days shipping" is why I shop there! I was told I could run to the local store and purchase a bag to get us through. While that was nice, I responded with "if I do that why not just order everything at that time and be done with it?

    I was upset. In my day "COMMUNICATION" went a long way toward customer service. The rep disconnected from the chat. Of course, a customer trying to make things right loves to be hung up on. I contacted the Supervisor and explained I was just hung up on. I asked her to cancel the order from AZ and continue to ship the order from FL. It was not a pleasant conversation. Of course I was angry. Now I have to go to the local store when I personally like not having to go out during Covid. I verified they refunded that particular shipment.

    My order was due on the 20th. I thought everything was taken care of until the 21st. I saw the order had made it all the way to my area on the 20th (within 5 miles) but was recalled. I contacted Chewy. She, was nicer than the Supervisor I spoke to and seemed to have an interest in helping. She would/could not tell me why the order was returned. I suspect it was a vindictive move on behalf of the supervisor.

    Nobody would tell me who authorized the order to be returned. Not even FedEx would tell me. They said that information is between Chewy and FedEx. (I don't care what you call it, but free shipping is NOT free. It is factored into the product price and you pay for it, you just don't see it and psychologically it makes you feel like you got better deal.) Nevertheless, FedEx refused to tell me who did the return even though I paid for the shipping. I am done with Chewy and I want the world to know this whole situation could have been avoided by using good customer service and communication. However, snotty attitudes, being disconnected, sabotage of an order and just a lack of old fashioned customer service is not how I do business. It is discouraging to think this is the way big business does things today and forever.

    Chewy is a great company that provides excellent service to customers, but they also are sensitive to pet owners. When I called Chewy.com to inform them that they needed to remove my name from their mailing list due to the tragic loss of both of my cats, I was touched by the compassion expressed to me by their agent named Cherisse. She was extremely kind and even refunded the total amount of my last order as a means of expressing sympathies. The next day I received a bouquet of flowers in memory of Baxter and Minou with a meaningful note from her! My husband and I stood there in utter disbelief. Thank you, Cherisse! I called all the pet owners in my family and they switched to Chewy.com. They stand head and shoulders above all major companies. We'll be back, but need more time to heal...

    This company used to be stellar but my last two interactions, one involving life-enhancing prescriptions medications were abysmal. It felt like no one was at the helm here. I got contradicting information from different employees and rudeness when I tried to ferret out the real situation.     After I had a tragic loss to my prize dog, I have tried in vain to have Chewy send 5ge parakeet in the Manu box. They said they could not so I tried to have their box correctly packed. They continue to send both parakeet and cockatiel treats improperly packaged and they are crushed in. I'm disabled. Can't physically return and this all my birds eat. I spend 200 a month with them.

    I had purchase Dog food from them in the past and made sure to cancel the auto shipments once I found out that it was causing issues for my dogs. Every so often Chewy would try to charge my credit cards and start the auto shipments again. I have made several attempts to stop this. Recently on Sept 21st I get an email stating that they are charging my credit card for the same dog food, I contacted them and they canceled it, then on Sept 25th they do it again. Again I contacted them and they stated sorry it was for a different dog food. Last on Sept 28th they charge my Credit card for both types of dog food which they claimed that they canceled. I contacted them and they refused to cancel it stating that it is too far in the process. This was at 3am and I called them at 3:28am? I argued with the lady for a few minutes and she refused to cancel nor refund. I contacted my Credit Card company and filed Fraud with them. About 30 minutes later I get another email stating they are shipping the dog food. What the Hell!

    I've been a Chewy customer for quite some time now, and love the ease of simply ordering my cat's favorite food, treats and toys online. Shipping is fast (usually) and if there is ever a problem, the customer service agents are so nice and will make it right for you. I've only had one issue with a delayed shipment, but Chewy took care to make sure my order made it to my door. I'm happy to be a customer and recommend them for all of your pet's needs.     I used to buy from them all the time and would even recommend them to others. NOT anymore!!! Used to take a couple of days to receive items but now it is weeks most of the time. Customer service does not exist there any longer. Tried refilling prescriptions for my puppies but got the worst runaround ever. Vet's office sent prescriptions to them but they kept telling me they never received and the vet's office told them to never contact them. Really? If you need something in a timely manner, definitely don't order from them.

    Hello; I am a disable war vet with a service dog. Back in 2019 I received a new service dog & US War Dogs Assoc paid for 1 yr. of Ziwi Venison raw food 5.5 lb bag. From the start of autoship in 2019 there was issue with deliveries & many phone calls to the company. Even emailed the CEO with no reply back in 2020. "Mario" their C/S Head Manager called me on 2/20 & told me he will take take of my issues & I'll get food delivery to 2/21 Food delivery & the same issues happen again and food was cut off on 6/20 because he was no longer working for Chewy.com. I called & emailed the CEO of the parent company who own chewy.com. Never any reply back even the CEO of chewy.com, I live on a very fix income. I had to spend over $1200 on other raw food from another company. Chewy.com owes me 10 bags of food, plus! Now they want to offer me 1 free bag of food just for me to go away and I refuse to do that and they lie too!!

    I want to give a huge shoutout to Chewy.com. This is the online company that we bought our dog food from. I received a shipment the day before our beloved dog crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I contacted them and they said to donate it to charity and they would refund the cost of the goods. Done, no questions asked. Impressive!!! The following morning when my husband I got up there was a box from Chewy. It was a dozen yellow roses from the company with a card expressing their condolences.     We've been long time customers of Chewy and use the Autoship for our food. Lately we have experienced some issues with shipping time from Chewy and/or from FedEx. They used to be very apologetic and would offer something for the inconvenience. Lately they say "we are normally on time" and offer nothing except that "maybe you should order sooner". Chewy is a nice convenience, but if their customer service is going down then I would rather pay $1 more to go with someone else. They have gotten huge and are now falling into the corporate America mindset. They care more about getting more new customers than their long time existing customers. They look at you as just a number. Also, I am tired of everybody using "supply chain" of "COVID" excuses to make up for incompetency.

    Chewy is my go-to site for all of my pet's needs. Their customer service is beyond word I can describe. I recenty loss my beloved Joe to cancer.     I had gotten new vet and Rxs. I had 1 refill of a valid Rx left from the old vet. Chewy won't refill the valid refill left that they refilled previously because a new vet was obtained. So I paid for a prescription with refills for one year but Chewy won't honor it. People Rx's aren't treated this way so why should they treat my pet Rx differently? Are they money makers for vets or a pharmacy?

    We do not believe that we can express our thoughts, gratitude in words for “Chewy” but I will attempt. This company who states there are available 24/7 is just that. Chewy went above and beyond our expectations. My family recently lost our beloved 13-year-old dog, Sadey. During our time of grief, Chewy sent the most beautiful bouquet as well as a genuinely sympathetic card. We cannot describe our feelings at the time being overwhelmed, is best said.

    Chewy also touched us by unexpectedly refunding an expensive order received before her passing, with only one request if not needed, then donate to a Shelter, at which it was, and accepted with joy and many wagging tails. I write this not necessarily as an insightful review, but instead as a testimony to Chewy’s Characteristics of Good Customer Service, something not found as often as it should be.     It's a waste of time to get prescription meds from them. They do not process them in timely manner. Meds are not shipped as they should be. Overnight gets shipped via ground and it takes 2 weeks to get spoiled medication. They don't care if product gets to you on time or not. They do not make inquiry on your behalf because shipping is free. Since it's a corporation they do not care about the consumer only about the amount that passes through their hands. Complaints do not work at all. What a waste of the country where person who pays for services is not being treated as person only as a milking cow.

    As a non-profit, we get gift cards donated to us for use towards the animals in rescue. Chewy limits gift cards so you can only use one per order. This means that to cover the order of $30 for one bag of food, we can use our $25 gift card and pay shipping or add more to the order and get free shipping, but have to pay the balance. This is super inconvenient and controlling of how we use our money we were gifted. Now we have to dip into the money we could use for other animals to pay for shipping or the remaining balance of another item added if we want free shipping. My suggestion for everyone is to not buy gift cards or use Amazon if you want to use gift cards and not be restricted.

    I placed an order that included the Pet Parents Male Dog Wraps and I accidentally selected the wrong size. Using the chat feature on Chewy.com, I communicated with a customer service rep who refunded me for the purchase and stated that I could donate the item to a shelter or someone who could use the wraps. She then placed the order for the correct size for me and waived the shipping fee (I would've had to spend $49 to get the free shipping). I am very impressed with their customer service and love that they give back to the community.

    A few days ago I ordered a pet ramp to help my Golden Retriever get into the car more easily as she has been exhibiting difficulties recently jumping up. The ramp arrived within a few days, but when we went to test it, it did not work with my car. Not the ramp maker's fault, it just is not compatible with my car. So I called CHEWY to start the return process and this is what they told me...

    The customer service representative (Shana, I may be spelling it wrong) first said she had processed the refund and that I should see it in my account within 3-5 business days and then she said, PLEASE DONATE THE RAMP TO A LOCAL SHELTER! So they didn't require I send it back and they trust me to make the donation. I am truly impressed and love that CHEWY has such a commitment to both customer satisfaction and to the animal care community. Thank you CHEWY, I will make sure our local shelter knows that this gift is from you and not me. Because of this one experience I will absolutely try to use Chewy more often for our pet needs.

    LADIES BEWARE! April, I had a UPS driver come to my home - first time, verbally abusive - second time, literally threw freight at my home doing damage. Thankfully, the lady from Chewy was on the phone with me and worried about my safety she recorded the call. I was told by Chewy to get a police report to release the call. I DID! Since then, now August, nothing but the run around. They will NOT release the recording or help me in anyway. So - Chewy does not care about your safety or even providing the proof to protect you!     I've been dealing with this company for about 1 year for my cats food, litter, and other items.     We purchase dog food with auto-delivery monthly. Our dog has become ill and needed to change her food. Chewy had just delivered a bag of her food. I called to see if I could exchange it for her new prescription food. The representative said they would credit our account for the food that was just delivered and suggested we find a local place to donate it to. They seriously care for our pets more than money.     Customer for life!! Sadly my daughter's horse passed away recently. He would not eat. We later found out it was due to the cherry tree we put his water bucket under. Those trees are highly poisonous to horses. I went to Chewy.com to stop my order. My horse feed was set to go out that day. I called and asked if they could stop the order. Nick, the guy I spoke with was so kind. I told him my horse did not eat any of the last order but we did open one bag. I asked if I could possibly return it. He gladly gave me a refund and told me I could give the feed to a local shelter or someone who may need the help for their horse. So he stopped the current order, gave me the feed to help someone else, and refunded me almost 200.00 for the feed I had purchased. That is not it.

    My daughter who is 12 was so sad about her horse dying she asked me to get flowers. I purchased some dollar store flowers for his grave and she thanked me but asked if we could have real flowers for him. The next day a FLOWER BOQUET showed up at our house and a note from Nick from Chewy.com saying, "We're so sorry to hear of your loss of Star, and our hearts go out to you. We know this time is tough, and we're always here if you need anything". Can you believe that? What company does that for their customer and their horse at that!! My daughter and I were delighted.

    They took the time to seek out a florist near me, order flowers, and have a note sent. Yeah, I'm not going anywhere else, ever. This is a great company. If they didn't already do a good job already with competitive prices, an easy to use website to adjust an order, good customer service, they also put a cherry on top and show they care about my pet. Good job and thank you very much Chewy (and Nick) for your generosity. It was truly a blessing to us.

    If the item you ordered comes directly from the manufacturer, beware. It took over 4 weeks to get the items, and when I did it was only partial. In speaking with Chewy, they put the responsibility on the manufacturer, and did not step up to ensure the missing item was expedited. A manager was to contact me, but I never heard from them.

    I have been using Chewy for my dog's prescription foods and hard to find treats for a long time, as well as cat and aquarium supplies. At one point I had ordered the wrong food. Chewy replaced it with the correct food at no extra charge and asked that I donate the other food to a shelter. A few days ago my beloved dog died and I had to cancel his auto-ship dog treats. I let them know that I had lost my baby. Today I received a beautiful vase of a dozen roses and a beautiful note. This was so unexpected and very touching. I will forever be a Chewy customer.

    I placed an order online on Tuesday, 8/3/21 for some ear medicine for my golden retriever. The poor doggie has an ear infection that needs urgent attention. The medicine I order from Chewy's has proven effective in relieving the symptoms of the ear infection and healing the problem. As of today, Thursday, 8/4/21, I haven't received any acknowledgment of my order from Chewy's. They have done nothing, so far, to deliver my order. I'm disgusted. Chewy's is all about media advertising and nothing about customer service. They have shown me utter disregard for placing an order with them.     When you set up auto-ship with a company, you are to choose the day and frequency, so say you have set for orders to be sent on a date that falls on a Tuesday and to be sent every four weeks from that day... The company (Chewy) insists to send the orders earlier than the day you have set, so the future delivery, four weeks ahead, is changed to that earlier day, and each time they do this, the order is changed to be sent on the earlier day, moving the future date back to an earlier day, for every future date...

    Example: Order to be sent on Tuesday, gets sent out on Monday. Four weeks from the day you set is a Tuesday, but it has now been changed to a Monday. So, when that four weeks arrives, they send the order out a day early, which will fall on a Sunday or Saturday or Friday, depending if they work on Sunday and Saturday ... And so, four weeks ahead gets changed to 'their' day, not your day. And as they continue sending orders a day early, the day sent gets set back in this fashion. And for every time they do this, the order is moved back earlier and earlier and earlier... Get what I am explaining?

    So, why bother having it where people are to schedule their ship date, when you choose to ignore the customer's ship date and send the orders when you want to send them and change the future delivery dates, for every time you go early with the orders, making the orders arrive earlier and earlier? And forget emailing customer service with this, because I am getting nowhere. I have told them one simple solution is for them to follow instructions and stop sending the orders earlier than I have them scheduled. They cannot seem to comprehend that setting up auto-ship is supposed to mean you are to ship the orders on the day the customer has scheduled.

    Second Complaint - And again, no sense in dealing with customer service, they do not care. Sometimes, Chewy will ship four cases of canned cat food, 24 cans at 5.5 ounces in two separate boxes, so four per box, and the food arrives safely. Other times, Chewy decides to place six to eight cases in one box. Obviously, as it goes through hands during shipping, these heavier boxes are too heavy and get dropped, so I get crushed canned foods, with maggots, arriving in very heavy boxes that are sometimes busting open because they have obviously been dropped because they are too heavy. I have thrown away so much canned food because of this. I have thrown my money in the trash due to the incompetence of others.

    It is not for me to put myself out to have to take these damaged items, with maggots, to a Fed-Ex drop off. I should not be having to go through the nasty mess at all. Chewy sent the heavy boxes that arrive with crushed cans and maggots, Chewy should figure out how to get it sent back to them without my having to leave my home. It is not my job to do their job.

    I have been shipping with Chewy for over 5 years, and historically I have had nothing but wonderful things to say. Recently however their customer service has taken a decline. Hopefully this is a one off and does not happen again but it left me in a very compromised situation. I always order with a week buffer for my dog's food as he is on a script and can not eat anything else. I placed my order with plenty of time, I thought, but for some reason my order was not shipped through the usual distribution center and somehow got routed to go to the east coast prior to Turing around to me, on the west coast. Sure FeDex is responsible if this issue, HOWEVER, I have made 4 separate calls to chewy trying to resolve this, and here 12 days later it has still not arrived, NOR had a resolution been reached.

    First rep told me to call back system was down, second rep states I needed to prove I was purchasing food through me vet for partial refund. I wasn't able to provide as I did not get a receipt. Third rep offered 30 $ refund, on a 99$ item. Fourth rep promised to expedite an order for overnight delivery, two days later it was barely sent today, and will be here in 2 days, so 3 put of the promise. Original order never arrived. No refund offered for those missing items. Will be calling a fifth time today to try and get this resolved. Thing is my dog has run out of food, and I can not order through my vet til tomorrow and can't pick up til the end of the week. So I obviously can no longer rely on chewy for scripted foods. Which totally sucks for me as I am disabled and can not left over 10 lbs, which is why I started ordering in the first place.

    We recently lost our beloved 11 yr old golden retriever. She had been taking prescription wet and dry dog food for about 9 months and then we had to go to a feeding tube using dry food. I had 2 cases of unopened canned food that had cost $100. I called to order food for our other golden retriever and asked if I could return the canned food. Customer rep said she needed to look at our account and then said no. She was sorry we couldn’t return the food but she would be glad to to refund our money if we made sure to donate the dog food to animal clinics. I was very surprised and pleased. I told the customer service rep that I would be happy to comply. The money was refunded to me the day I called. What a great company. I will continue to use Chewy. They were good about originally getting prescription. I didn’t need to do anything. Excellent customer service. Great company policies.

    I placed a pharmacy order Jul 22, received an email that it was on the way on Jul 24 and would arrive the 27th. I received an email on the 28th stating my order was late. I have tracked it for 4 days and it is always "out to be delivered" but never arrives. I have spoken with 4 Chewy reps in the last 2 days and all but the first have been bordering on rude and not helpful. Chewy said they would contact the delivery service but I have no proof that they did. They said the delivery (On Site) company would call me but they haven't. Now it is Saturday night and the service is closed till Monday. My order is medication and my pet is ill! I will never use Chewy again!

    I placed my order for heartworm prevention for two of my dogs on July 13. They assured me that they would contact my vet for authorization. I immediately notify my vet after placing my Chewy order so that they know to expect a request. After a few days without an update, I call Chewy’s customer service for the second time. They tell me that they haven’t heard back from my vet. So I call my vet. My vet states that they have not received anything from Chewy, whether it be via email, fax, or call. My vet also firmly states that they only accept calls about authorizations during certain business hours — I prominently relay this information to Chewy. They reassure me yet again that they will have their pharmacy CALL the vet.

    It’s now July 21, a week since I’ve placed my order when Chewy sends me an email about my order soon to be canceled due to lack of Rx authorization. I frantically call their customer service as well as my vet to see what the hold up is, especially since my dogs are going unprotected from heartworms due to their delay! The vet verifies that they still haven’t received a call. Chewy then changes their story to say that they didn’t call my vet. Instead, Chewy sent a request to my vet via an online PORTAL. I specifically stated to them that my vet will only accept phone call authorization requests. Moreover, the request over the Portal is deemed useless as my vet doesn’t have access to that since their change in business ownership.

    I call Chewy for the countless time and spoke to a rude male customer service representative from Dallas that said to me, “I’m surprised Chewy hadn’t canceled your order sooner as this request for authorization has carried on longer than it should have. Your order will be canceled, and that’s just what’s going to happen since there’s no authorization. You can get your vet to call us.” Excuse yourself.

    Not only did I get reassurance from previous representatives that they would make a phone call to request authorization, but also, it is Chewy’s/their pharmacy’s job to reach out to the clinic/doctor. Not only did they not place phone calls as claimed, but they refused to call the vet after repeated reminders in order to get the authorization. Had I known the process would be a lengthy waste of my time receiving the run around, and that they wouldn’t actually do phone call requests for authorizations, then I would have gone somewhere else instead of having my dogs be at risk without protection.

    I have been a Chewy customer since 2014, and cannot say enough good things about them. Our dog has a sensitive stomach and the vet recommended some pretty pricey dog food which we had a hard time finding. Chewy had it and was competitive in their pricing and their customer service can't be beat. I was totally wowed when I got two hand wrapped presents for my birthday. They were handpainted canvas pictures of our dog, and my daughter's pup. I couldn't be more impressed. What a thoughtful, well done gift. I swear, I nearly cried!

    I purchased the following toy for my lovebird, "Super Bird Creations Crinkle Crinkle Little Star Bird Toy, Small By Super Bird Creations". This toy has a ball of twine in the center. My lovebird's foot got tangled in the twine and needed to have intervention to untangle. Had I not been present I believe my bird would have been seriously injured or even killed by this toy. Chewy was immediately notified and has yet to remove the toy from their website. The manufacturer of the toy "Super Bird creations didn't even have the courtesy to reply to my messages. Please do not buy anything from Chewy as they simply ignore reports of dangerous products and keep selling them.

    I very carefully shopped around several online places. I compared prices, read many off-site reviews from all 5 star ratings, but kept coming back to Chewy.com. Their listed price for the Purina One Live Clear cat food (that my two cats now needed to have), was listed as 16.58/ 3lb bag - $6-8 LESS than local stores!! The $5 shipping was worth it for 2 bags. I even had a personal recommendation from a friend, who had bought off their website before. I called to set up the auto-ship order with customer service. I was really leery of doing that - from a horrid experience years ago - where the price I authorized payment for DOUBLED a few months later. I was assured by this "Chewy representative" that the $16.58/ 3lb bag was their everyday price - not a special or sale price, and that it would NOT be yanked up on me.

    I set up every 4 weeks to have two 3lb bags auto-shipped. SURPRISE! 4 weeks later - I get my email that my 2nd order has shipped. I open it... and those two 3lb bags are now on sale! They proudly announce that I saved $2.16 by using auto-ship - making the price of each bag only $20.50!!! WHAT? Just 30 days ago, your "everyday price, that won't get yanked up" was $16.58 - now it's $21.58? $5 more? So, you bet I call Chewy! And I get told that "Last month that WAS the price, THIS month there is a shortage of supply - so the price for THEM has gone up". That "Whoever told me it wouldn't get yanked up, should never have said that. It's just like steak in the supermarket. Sometimes it goes up". WHAT? FIVE DOLLARS IN A MONTH?

    I've been looking at the price of this food in 2 pet stores I frequent - I also have an aquarium. The price has remained steady. LIES! I canceled my auto-ship then and there, and demanded a refund - with emails containing a return shipping label, confirmation of the cancellation of my auto-ship account, and that my refund had been processed. I was told I would have the emails within an hour. I only got the email stating my account had been canceled. Today, 2 days later - the day after the shipment was supposed to be delivered (and wasn't), I called good old Chewy. I was told "We didn't send a return label, for all the trouble - just go ahead and donate the food somewhere. Your refund was processed and you'll have it in your credit union account 3-5 business days - we don't send out refund emails".

    I call foul - EVERY business sends out refund emails!! It WAS nice of him to say to donate the cat food - I told him I would do so. Tonight I called FedEx when I saw the tracking # for the package now said "No delivery date". They told me Chewy stopped delivery and ordered it returned to them!! MORE LIES!! At this point - I DON'T BELIEVE THEY EVER REFUNDED MY $49.56!!! If they had - they would have SENT that email! CHEWY.COM RIPPED ME OFF!!!

    I've been buying from Chewy's for several years and had always trusted the site. I recently purchased flea drops for my pups and cat. While on their site decided to cruise around the "buy one get one". There were a number of sales going on so decided on 3. On this day it was buy 2 get one. Checked out and didn't pay much attention to the details in the cart. After checking out I looked a little closer and had only received the discount on the cheapest item I purchased. Called the customer service and they informed me that if you look at the little blue label next to the discount on each of the items and open up "details" you can read that it is only one discount on the cheapest items per order. Needless to say my trust level has gone way down and will definitely be reviewing my bill much closer from here on.     TO ALL MY ANIMAL LOVERS! I have to say how AMAZING Chewy is. After this last week having to put our dog Bink down after 17 years was very emotional. Then to top it off we had just received our auto ship food for Bink. I called Chewy to cancel the auto ship and I actually talked to a REAL PERSON right away. Ironically her name was Karen and she was nothing like the “Karens” everyone talks about. She was so genuine and sympathetic for our loss. Not only did she refund our auto ship.     I was already so choked up just talking about the loss of our dog, to actually have someone who genuinely seemed to care was very moving and more than enough for me.     Love the idea of this, but your delivery company is horrible and I watched this on my camera. The delivery guy throwing them up on my deck then stacked them side ways and 2 boxes crushed and two rolled down the stairs, taking out flower pots, one hand rail and loosened the other and a few deck boards throwing them and busted open. The driver left them there busted open at the bottom of my stairs and left walking around it to leave, crushing more flowers. We notified Chewy within minutes and assured me last week that FedEx was going to call in 24 hrs, they must not have watches. Cause they sure don't know what time it is so we canceled our subscription to chewy again, yes this is our second time. Get a new delivery and I will come back.

    Always have had a good experience with Chewy.com. Our 8-year-old lab has had several health issues including having to be on expensive prescription food for years. This year he has come down with cancer and hasn't been eating very much. His cancer is too progressed to save him, and so he is being put down this week. Today chewy.com went above and beyond by refunding my already shipped order for my lab (which is very expensive food).     I'm on autoship for Rachael Ray dog food. Last order not only that came incomplete, came so late, out of one of the boxes was missing cans, instead of 9 were just 6 inside. You guys waited days to realize that is not in stock, after that send an email that the order will be incomplete, and even the food that came was incomplete, and I was charged (instead of 9 cans that I was charged in the package were 6). And that with 2 warehouses in the area, one in Gardner one in Belton. I WAS A CHEWY CUSTOMER. Wait for my review. And actually the same food is same price or cheaper at Walmart. Shame on you.

    Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Chewy has always had A+ customer service and we are long-time customers. One of our cats, a 17 yr-old gray tabby named Lucy, was in declining health with kidney issues and lymphoma. She passed away Wed 5-19-21 while we held her in our arms. I had recently ordered more "potty pads" because she had been missing the litter box, but now had no need of them.

    I called Chewy to see if they would refund our purchase and spoke to an angel of a customer service representative named Haley (I believe she was in Texas). She could not have been kinder or more empathetic. She refunded our previous order in full and told me not to worry about sending back the product, but to donate it to an animal shelter. She said Chewy considers their pet owner customers as extended family and wanted to help by making the disposition and refund of my unneeded items as easy as possible. And within the week, a beautiful vase of flowers arrived at our door from Haley and Chewy with a handwritten note expressing their condolences and sorrow at our loss. We have never before had a business be so thoughtful and go so far to ease our sorrow as we experienced with Chewy and Haley. Thank you, Chewy and Haley, from the bottom of our heart for your kindness.

    Have shopped at and auto shipped from Chewy.com for 4 years plus. This last year it has been a hit or miss service. We ordered meds for my senior dog to deliver to an air bnb, Chewy.com emailed to advise us it wouldn’t be delivered because there was a problem with address. But continued to charge us for it. Followed up, they just claimed it was delivered. The next time they were careless was when they delivered an empty box! It was not damaged or resealed. They failed to pack it. Reported, and they did what they are good at. Ignore you until you stop following up.

    This third time the delivery didn’t turn up, not even an empty box. Reported, and all they reply with is “it was delivered.” We are stuck without the meds for my senior dog and we are out of pocket again. Don’t let their marketing fool you. They do care about their customers or our pets. Be prepared when something goes wrong, they will ignore you until you give up. I will no longer shop with them. I’m done.

    Not big on writing reviews, but this company deserves one. I started using Chewy.com for my pets medicines about a year ago. I order the meds and they would reach out to the vet for approval and shipment. Never had an issue - meds were always on time - basically what you would expect from an online pharmacy. Now for what I didn't expect. My fur baby passed away recently at Blue Pearl Emergency Room (another amazing company) from complications with CHF. Chewy auto-shipped three of his four prescriptions and was notified of his passing when they reached out to his primary vet office to get approval to renew his fourth prescription.

    I received a phone message from them stating how sorry they were for my loss and that they had issued a full refund for the meds currently in transit. I was really surprised and appreciative. Two days later, I had a vase of white roses delivered to my door with condolences from Elliott at Chewy.com. What online pet store does that?! I am amazed at the compassion and customer experience from this company. I will NEVER use another pet store again.

    I could not be happier with the service from Chewy. They stand behind all the products they sell. Any issues I have had with an item, they are super quick to make it right. Their customer service is actually customer service. Their employees are always friendly and helpful. I can call anytime day or night to order. Their prices are competitive and reasonable. The delivery time is so quick on almost all the products I have ordered. It is my first choice to order any item I need for my dogs.

    I purchased the PetSpy M919 Dog Training Collars (2/set) for my two dogs on March 7, 2020. They worked very well for 13 months. One of the collars died - could no longer sync it with the remote - the sync button stayed depressed. Three days later, the remote died. I called Chewy to see if they would replace the set. I was told their computers do not allow them to accept a replacement for merchandise that was purchased longer than a year ago.

    I asked to speak with a manager, as it was almost exactly one year and one month since I purchased the set. The manager told me the exact same thing. I did my own research on the PetSpy website, and found I could not replace the remote battery because it's built into the remote, but they are made to last at least two years. I told the manager this, and he still would not replace the set. I've purchased several things from Chewy, but I won't again. I had just set up an auto-ship with them for dog food, and I canceled it. Very disappointed.

    I had to just stop auto orders from Chewy because our dog passed away. I was having trouble online so I called a customer rep. She was so very thoughtful and took care of everything. Imagine my surprise the next day when I answered the door and here was a bouquet of flowers sent by Chewy!

    We have a Cocker Spaniel with an itchy skin issue. We keep her well protected during the summer months with flea medicine, but she still winds up itching a LOT. The rest of the year is not much better for her. I give her special baths with soap specifically for the itching. It gives her a day, maybe two of relief. Now enter EverRoot Dog Skin and Coat Supplement Liquid Packs!

    The first thing that I loved about this product for her is that the oil is a bit thicker than I thought it would be, and it is peanut butter flavored. When I give the supplement to her before bed every night, she thinks that she is getting a treat and laps up the oil excitedly most likely because of the peanut butter flavor. It took a couple of nights but her itching has subsided tremendously! There have been so many nights that I thought someone was knocking at our bedroom door, but it was always just Mabel scratching herself right up against the door. The last few nights have been wonderful for all of us!

    I've also noticed when I pet her that her coat feels smoother and looks wonderful. The supplement comes in a box of 14 individual, easy-to-use packets; one for every day for two weeks. The product is well worth the cost to keep Mabel comfortable especially because even though she LOVES swimming, she is not fond of the bath, not to mention that any soap if used too often strips a dog's coat of its natural oils. We are so happy to have found EverRoot supplements for dogs. I'm excited to try a couple of the other types for our fur baby.

    I am not one to write reviews but felt compelled because of such great customer service. I had to put my sweet dog Dexter down last week. When I called to cancel the automatic shipments, Luis at Chewy.com, refunded the money for Dexter's food and he sent my condolence flowers! Luis and Chewy went above and beyond! They have my business!! Thank you for making such a hard time a little more bearable.

    I bought a bird cage for around $100. While it was being shipped, sadly, my bird died. I was imagining a hassle shipping the cage back, getting a credit, etc. BUT NO! Chewy sent me a very kind letter expressing sympathy for the loss of my bird. They gave me an immediate credit and told me to donate the cage to a shelter. I've never had something like that happen before. Wow! How nice was that??

    I called the Chewy customer service on a Saturday morning in a complete tizzy over my pet. Angela at chewy was so patient and helpful. By the end of our conversation she had given me a few different options on how to get the medications my pet needed in a hurry. My situation is a complicated one and she understood exactly what I was asking for even though I was not very good at explaining it.     I'm am so happy I discovered Chewy. I have 4 cats and now order all their products including canned and dry food, treats, litter and toys. The prices are better than my grocery store without all the heavy lifting and carrying. Free shipping starts at $49 which is easy to reach. I have always received my order in no more than 5 days. They have a great selection and the website is easy to use. Beware though, the boxes can get pretty heavy. My cats have lots of fun with the boxes and shipping paper. Very satisfied customer.

    I just wanted to share my thoughts about the incredible team at Chewy.com. I have been ordering prescriptions and treats from them for my lab for a while now and last week my 13 year old lab passed away. I contacted Chewy and spoke to Stacey, she showed such compassion on the phone and said she would refund my recent order and said not to worry about returning the items and suggested I donate it to a local shelter. Earlier this week I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers and the sweetest sympathy card from Chewy. They have gone beyond my expectations and I will be forever grateful. My husband and I love animals and in time we will be dog parents again and will return ordering from the very best Company...     I have always been satisfied with Chewy's selection, prices and delivery. This last time ordering litter, only half the order arrived, the other part was to be delivered the follow day(s). Then it appeared to be delivered but we didn't get it - probably delivered to incorrect home? No problem because they quickly responded and not only replaced the missing item but gave an additional one for good measure (no charge). No blame or shame - just good old fashion customer service and quickly responded. They deserve my business and I will be loyal to them because of how they reacted to a missed delivery.     So I ordered my dog's prescription medication online with them 4/4/21. I received no information from them during the week, so I assumed everything was good. I then contacted them on 4/9/21 to see why I haven't received it. They said they hadn't gotten approval from my vet. Called my vet, they didn't get a request. Chewy say they fax the requests in, but in reality, they use an online portal system. I asked if they re-sent it when they didn't get a response, and they said no. I then had to request them to do it manually while I had them on the line.

    After hours of this they finally sent it (for the 1st time, they lied about it). My vet approved it as soon as they got it. Now they say they will ship it within 24-48 hours, then it takes 3-5 days to get to me, so another week minimum. Meanwhile my dog is out, so I have to go in person to get it locally and pay double. Chewy offers nothing for their mistakes, and we pay the price, not even expedited shipping when they make an error like this. Needless to say I will never use them again.

    My dog, who had several autoship items, including meds, from Chewy, sadly passed away 11/12/20. I was so upset, and forgot to cancel her autoship. I sent Chewy a picture of her cremation certificate, explaining that she had passed and I didn't need the items that were shipped to me. Two days later, I had a beautiful bouquet of flowers delivered to me. When I saw that the flowers were from Chewy, I immediately began crying. Not only that, they refunded the items that were delivered without asking me to ship them back.

    I work at a non-profit Animal Rescue and I was able to donate the meds that I no longer needed. Chewy is an incredible company. They care about their customers and their beloved pets. I've never experienced customer service with any other company like I have with Chewy. Chewy is by far a model company and I wish more businesses lived up to their standards. I have since adopted another dog, and I continue to use Chewy.

    Hands down Chewy.com is the place to order all of your pet's needs. They have excellent customer service. You receive a live person when you call their 1-800 number. They auto-ship and deliver quickly. They go above and beyond and even sent painted portraits of my pups from profile picture I uploaded under my account. Highly Recommend!

    These folks are great. Their site has a wide variety of foods and other things for pets. The item gets delivered within 3 days. And if you have a problem with the item and need to return it, they give you a full refund and ask you to donate the item to a shelter rather than sending it back to them. I cannot say enough nice things about them. Awesome company.

    I have a dog with Cushings disease and she needs to take ** for the rest of her life. Needless to say I was very impressed when I seen that Chewy.com had the best prices I could find. I had my order auto shipped which saved a few dollars but also made it much easier to always have it on hand for my fur baby. I was so impresses that I told everyone on a Cushings support group about their amazing prices.

    Within a month of telling everyone their prices increased by almost 25% or more. I was shocked. I heard rumors from some people on the support site, but honestly didn't think to much of it. I never thought Chewy would do something like that. Needless to say when I received my email about the order getting ready to be processed. I would have been paying over $30 more from the previous month. They raised their prices as I had read. I called just to ask why and was informed that they sell it at what the manufacturers prices. Which I can tell you is a load of crap because when I first started to order it I looked at the manufacturers prices because I was looking for the best all around pricing.

    Needless to say I stopped my orders and now have found a new pharmacist who does have better prices and I have notified all the people on the Cushings support site in the hopes of helping them also. I am very disappointed with Chewy I am not sure why the sudden increase and at the high of an increase. But whatever the reason why I will not be purchasing medications from them ever again.

    • A living person answers the phone. Imagine that.
    • When my dog suddenly died in 2017, I'd just received a huge order of specialty dog food from them. I called to see if I could return it. They said No, just donate it. They also (unexpectedly) credited my account the full amount.

    • March, 2021: I thought only half our cat food order was sent, and called to ask to receive the other half. Turns out that another family member had stowed the second half of the order in a place it didn't belong. Meanwhile, Chewy sent more cat food, free of charge. They won't take it back. They won't charge me even though it was our error.

    This company's customer service is top-of-the-line. I can't say enough good things here.

    Chewy is unreliable, sloppy and careless. I have used them for a while, the last three auto ships I received came in heavily damaged. It seems they hire morons in their shipping department that can't even pack things well. Case in point, they put a 27 pound box of litter in with two flats of cat food. The box had one paltry piece of paper in it as "packing". Is it any wonder that as the UPS butchers used the box as a soccer ball, the litter crushed the cans? I wonder if anyone in Chewy knows what can happen with dented, violated cans? Then I saw their president came from Amazon. So, the same corporate focus of "customer be damned" that seems to pervade Amazon, now is the corporate motto for Chewy. I will never order from them again and I wouldn’t trust them to ship a flea collar without damaging it.

    I am so amazed at Chewy.com’s customer service representative, Alicia, and the entire company. The gratefulness I feel, I can’t put into words. After losing our Zach (12 years old and 60 lbs of love ❤️), I contacted the Chewy.com customer service department. I was hoping to return the potty pads, that had arrived the day prior to our loss. Not only was Alicia kind and compassionate, she took action. She refunded my order and allowed me to donate the merchandise. Then, a few days later, my husband brought in a box that had been delivered to our front door. Roses! ???? Unbelievable. I sobbed. Alicia and the team at Chewy not only remembered Zach, but they honored our fur baby and our family in our grief. I am grateful and humbled. I will FOREVER be a Chewy customer and I will continue recommend them to everyone I know. Amazing ???? 5 stars.

    The staff at Chewy are always professional and pleasant. Any issues with orders are resolved in my favor. We recently got a dog food order and unfortunately had to euthanize our dog before the bag was open. As noted in other posts Chewy refunded the cost and told us to donate the food to a shelter. But the topper was a few days later I received flowers from Baron at Chewy.com and a sympathy note. Thank you Chewy for be a caring company and fulfilling your mission. Thank you!!

    The best customer service...Ever! They went far beyond every expectations. When my dear doggy passed away a week ago, they actually sent me the most heartfelt condolence email, and today they actually surprised my family with a beautiful floral arrangement and card with their sentiments.     have concerns about Chewy's delivery practices. I ordered a bottle of ** at the same time as some toys, and they delivered the ** separately, in a small package with no warning label, in a bottle that was not at all dog-proof. The delivery person had apparently not been instructed not to throw toxic chemicals over 6-foot fences into yards containing dogs (while the owners were home, no less). He threw the box of ** into my yard (although they delivered the toys to my front porch), my dog got into it within 15 minutes and overdosed, and I'm stuck with $4,000 in vet bills.

    So far, Chewy has been kind but intermittent in their responses to my situation, and they haven't kicked in to cover any of my bills. Although I thought I was saving money by ordering from Chewy instead of buying from my vet, those 30 ** ended up costing me $4000. I'm including a picture of my dog with a feeding tube, courtesy of Chewy but not paid for by them.

    So I decided to purchase my dog's prescription eye drops on Chewy because it was cheaper and seemed like it'd be convenient. Boy was I wrong! It's been over a WEEK and still they have not shipped the order. I've emailed them several times asking why they haven't shipped it yet, they keep saying the same thing, which is that my vet has not approved the prescription yet and they're working on it. That is not the truth, I have contacted my vet and asked if they received a prescription order for my dog, and they said yes they have and they faxed back the approval to Chewy. They said they did that 4 days ago and Chewy still claims they haven't gotten anything. This is turning into a complete hassle for absolutely no reason.

    My dog NEEDS these eye drops, she has what my vet described as "German Shepherd disease", which is where GSDs get a film over their eyes that looks like cataracts but isn't. The eye drops are the only thing preventing my dog from being blind and Chewy is just playing games. I am so angry and frustrated at them. Oh, and they're still holding my $50.00 hostage while they "wait for my vet to approve the prescription." Ridiculous! Do not use Chewy for anything, their customer service is terrible and they do not care about your pet, they only care about money.

    Horrible! Out of stock items are never indicated when placing an order. Order is "shipped" without being able to substitute with something else. All "out of stock" items are automatically removed from customer auto-ship order page so customer must hunt their website for the desired products for the next order instead of simply being able to reorder. We need a better company to order pet products.

    My cat refused to eat the new batch of his cat food. I asked to return the 16 cases and was sent a return label. I was told FedEx would pick up the next day. The next day I found out from FedEx that the return was not scheduled. I scheduled a return which was picked up the next day. Five days later I called to check on my refund. Two days before a manager said the refund was cleared but there was no indication on their records of him doing this. Holding on the phone for over an hour this morning, the supervisor told me they never received the return and a case was opened to locate it. I called FedEx and was told that the package was delivered five days ago and was signed for by Chewy. I called Chewy and was told another tracking number which they said was given by FedEx and that was why it was not located.

    I called FedEx back and they had no record of the second tracking number and stated they do not give another tracking number. The supervisor left a message after that stating the package was still in transit. Another lie. I called back furious and now was told that the $325. was released and should be in my credit card within five days. Somehow I don't believe them. Terrible to do this to a good customer through the years making large orders every month. Just don't try to return anything or you will be given the same kind of response. Either all their supervisors do not know what to do or what I feel now, they are doing this to hold back the funds or hoping the customer will just give up and walk away. Terrible way to do business. Shame on Chewy.
