    I love Chewy. They go above & beyond excellent customer service. We've ordered through them for quite a few years & they have resolved issues from picky eaters, help with prescription refills and even refunded my purchase price when I made a mistake in ordering the wrong product. They truly care about their furry customers & their families. They have comparable prices & fast shipping that is free for orders of about $50. They have a great selection of natural remedies like Restorapet & Pet Wellbeing's Smooth BM Gold. I highly recommend choosing Chewy!

    I can NOT say HOW BAD my experience with Chewy Pharmacy has been...DO NOT USE THEM! Endless hassles, ultimately the pharmacy neglected to see that I had VALID refills on scripts. Long horrible story shorter is to say the INCOMPETENCE of the PHARMACY STAFF is very scary, can't read a prescription label? DON'T DO BIZ with their pharmacy unless you like having endless hassles and want your prescriptions canceled!

    We unexpectedly lost our dog after ordering expensive food because the vet recommended she just needed a special diet. Chewy.com gave us a refund on the food and sent flowers. I will always shop chewy.com. This is not the first time they went beyond expectations.

    Always have had a good experience with Chewy.com. Our 8-year-old lab has had several health issues including having to be on expensive prescription food for years. This year he has come down with cancer and hasn't been eating very much. His cancer is too progressed to save him, and so he is being put down this week. Today chewy.com went above and beyond by refunding my already shipped order for my lab (which is very expensive food). The representative on the phone could not have been more compassionate and caring, kudos to this company and their employees.

    I'm on autoship for Rachael Ray dog food. Last order not only that came incomplete, came so late, out of one of the boxes was missing cans, instead of 9 were just 6 inside. You guys waited days to realize that is not in stock, after that send an email that the order will be incomplete, and even the food that came was incomplete, and I was charged (instead of 9 cans that I was charged in the package were 6). And that with 2 warehouses in the area, one in Gardner one in Belton. I WAS A CHEWY CUSTOMER. Wait for my review. And actually the same food is same price or cheaper at Walmart. Shame on you.

    Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Chewy has always had A+ customer service and we are long-time customers. One of our cats, a 17 yr-old gray tabby named Lucy, was in declining health with kidney issues and lymphoma. She passed away Wed 5-19-21 while we held her in our arms. I had recently ordered more "potty pads" because she had been missing the litter box, but now had no need of them.

    I called Chewy to see if they would refund our purchase and spoke to an angel of a customer service representative named Haley (I believe she was in Texas). She could not have been kinder or more empathetic. She refunded our previous order in full and told me not to worry about sending back the product, but to donate it to an animal shelter. She said Chewy considers their pet owner customers as extended family and wanted to help by making the disposition and refund of my unneeded items as easy as possible. And within the week, a beautiful vase of flowers arrived at our door from Haley and Chewy with a handwritten note expressing their condolences and sorrow at our loss. We have never before had a business be so thoughtful and go so far to ease our sorrow as we experienced with Chewy and Haley. Thank you, Chewy and Haley, from the bottom of our heart for your kindness.

    On the Monday after a Memorial for my deceased husband, I saw a subscription order had been sent out. In all the confusion, I had not been checking my email & I called & asked if the order could be stopped (not items needed). The rep was helpful and offered his condolences. I was very close to tears explaining why. Two days later a dozen long stem roses arrived from Chewy's signed by the rep I had spoken to. I still find it hard to believe that such a beautiful display of compassion was shown. Barbara

    Have shopped at and auto shipped from Chewy.com for 4 years plus. This last year it has been a hit or miss service. We ordered meds for my senior dog to deliver to an air bnb, Chewy.com emailed to advise us it wouldn’t be delivered because there was a problem with address. But continued to charge us for it. Followed up, they just claimed it was delivered. The next time they were careless was when they delivered an empty box! It was not damaged or resealed. They failed to pack it. Reported, and they did what they are good at. Ignore you until you stop following up.

    This third time the delivery didn’t turn up, not even an empty box. Reported, and all they reply with is “it was delivered.” We are stuck without the meds for my senior dog and we are out of pocket again. Don’t let their marketing fool you. They do care about their customers or our pets. Be prepared when something goes wrong, they will ignore you until you give up. I will no longer shop with them. I’m done.

    Not big on writing reviews, but this company deserves one. I started using Chewy.com for my pets medicines about a year ago. I order the meds and they would reach out to the vet for approval and shipment. Never had an issue - meds were always on time - basically what you would expect from an online pharmacy. Now for what I didn't expect. My fur baby passed away recently at Blue Pearl Emergency Room (another amazing company) from complications with CHF. Chewy auto-shipped three of his four prescriptions and was notified of his passing when they reached out to his primary vet office to get approval to renew his fourth prescription.

    I received a phone message from them stating how sorry they were for my loss and that they had issued a full refund for the meds currently in transit. I was really surprised and appreciative. Two days later, I had a vase of white roses delivered to my door with condolences from Elliott at Chewy.com. What online pet store does that?! I am amazed at the compassion and customer experience from this company. I will NEVER use another pet store again.

    I could not be happier with the service from Chewy. They stand behind all the products they sell. Any issues I have had with an item, they are super quick to make it right. Their customer service is actually customer service. Their employees are always friendly and helpful. I can call anytime day or night to order. Their prices are competitive and reasonable. The delivery time is so quick on almost all the products I have ordered. It is my first choice to order any item I need for my dogs.

    I purchased the PetSpy M919 Dog Training Collars (2/set) for my two dogs on March 7, 2020. They worked very well for 13 months. One of the collars died - could no longer sync it with the remote - the sync button stayed depressed. Three days later, the remote died. I called Chewy to see if they would replace the set. I was told their computers do not allow them to accept a replacement for merchandise that was purchased longer than a year ago.

    I asked to speak with a manager, as it was almost exactly one year and one month since I purchased the set. The manager told me the exact same thing. I did my own research on the PetSpy website, and found I could not replace the remote battery because it's built into the remote, but they are made to last at least two years. I told the manager this, and he still would not replace the set. I've purchased several things from Chewy, but I won't again. I had just set up an auto-ship with them for dog food, and I canceled it. Very disappointed.

    I had to just stop auto orders from Chewy because our dog passed away. I was having trouble online so I called a customer rep. She was so very thoughtful and took care of everything. Imagine my surprise the next day when I answered the door and here was a bouquet of flowers sent by Chewy!

    We have a Cocker Spaniel with an itchy skin issue. We keep her well protected during the summer months with flea medicine, but she still winds up itching a LOT. The rest of the year is not much better for her. I give her special baths with soap specifically for the itching. It gives her a day, maybe two of relief. Now enter EverRoot Dog Skin and Coat Supplement Liquid Packs!

    The first thing that I loved about this product for her is that the oil is a bit thicker than I thought it would be, and it is peanut butter flavored. When I give the supplement to her before bed every night, she thinks that she is getting a treat and laps up the oil excitedly most likely because of the peanut butter flavor. It took a couple of nights but her itching has subsided tremendously! There have been so many nights that I thought someone was knocking at our bedroom door, but it was always just Mabel scratching herself right up against the door. The last few nights have been wonderful for all of us!

    I've also noticed when I pet her that her coat feels smoother and looks wonderful. The supplement comes in a box of 14 individual, easy-to-use packets; one for every day for two weeks. The product is well worth the cost to keep Mabel comfortable especially because even though she LOVES swimming, she is not fond of the bath, not to mention that any soap if used too often strips a dog's coat of its natural oils. We are so happy to have found EverRoot supplements for dogs. I'm excited to try a couple of the other types for our fur baby.

    I am not one to write reviews but felt compelled because of such great customer service. I had to put my sweet dog Dexter down last week. When I called to cancel the automatic shipments, Luis at Chewy.com, refunded the money for Dexter's food and he sent my condolence flowers! Luis and Chewy went above and beyond!     I bought a bird cage for around $100. While it was being shipped, sadly, my bird died. I was imagining a hassle shipping the cage back, getting a credit, etc. BUT NO! Chewy sent me a very kind letter expressing sympathy for the loss of my bird. They gave me an immediate credit and told me to donate the cage to a shelter. I've never had something like that happen before. Wow! How nice was that??

    I called the Chewy customer service on a Saturday morning in a complete tizzy over my pet. Angela at chewy was so patient and helpful. By the end of our conversation she had given me a few different options on how to get the medications my pet needed in a hurry. My situation is a complicated one and she understood exactly what I was asking for even though I was not very good at explaining it. From now on I will always go to chewy for my pets medications, food, toys and anything else concerning my pets. Thank You Angela and Chewy.com.

    I'm am so happy I discovered Chewy. I have 4 cats and now order all their products including canned and dry food, treats, litter and toys. The prices are better than my grocery store without all the heavy lifting and carrying. Free shipping starts at $49 which is easy to reach. I have always received my order in no more than 5 days. They have a great selection and the website is easy to use. Beware though, the boxes can get pretty heavy. My cats have lots of fun with the boxes and shipping paper. Very satisfied customer.

    I just wanted to share my thoughts about the incredible team at Chewy.com. I have been ordering prescriptions and treats from them for my lab for a while now and last week my 13 year old lab passed away. I contacted Chewy and spoke to Stacey, she showed such compassion on the phone and said she would refund my recent order and said not to worry about returning the items and suggested I donate it to a local shelter. Earlier this week I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers and the sweetest sympathy card from Chewy. They have gone beyond my expectations and I will be forever grateful. My husband and I love animals and in time we will be dog parents again and will return ordering from the very best Company...     I have always been satisfied with Chewy's selection, prices and delivery. This last time ordering litter, only half the order arrived, the other part was to be delivered the follow day(s). Then it appeared to be delivered but we didn't get it - probably delivered to incorrect home? No problem because they quickly responded and not only replaced the missing item but gave an additional one for good measure (no charge). No blame or shame - just good old fashion customer service and quickly responded. They deserve my business and I will be loyal to them because of how they reacted to a missed delivery.     So I ordered my dog's prescription medication online with them 4/4/21. I received no information from them during the week, so I assumed everything was good. I then contacted them on 4/9/21 to see why I haven't received it. They said they hadn't gotten approval from my vet. Called my vet, they didn't get a request. Chewy say they fax the requests in, but in reality, they use an online portal system. I asked if they re-sent it when they didn't get a response, and they said no. I then had to request them to do it manually while I had them on the line.

    After hours of this they finally sent it (for the 1st time, they lied about it). My vet approved it as soon as they got it. Now they say they will ship it within 24-48 hours, then it takes 3-5 days to get to me, so another week minimum. Meanwhile my dog is out, so I have to go in person to get it locally and pay double. Chewy offers nothing for their mistakes, and we pay the price, not even expedited shipping when they make an error like this. Needless to say I will never use them again.

    My dog, who had several autoship items, including meds, from Chewy, sadly passed away 11/12/20. I was so upset, and forgot to cancel her autoship. I sent Chewy a picture of her cremation certificate, explaining that she had passed and I didn't need the items that were shipped to me. Two days later, I had a beautiful bouquet of flowers delivered to me. When I saw that the flowers were from Chewy, I immediately began crying. Not only that, they refunded the items that were delivered without asking me to ship them back.

    I work at a non-profit Animal Rescue and I was able to donate the meds that I no longer needed. Chewy is an incredible company. They care about their customers and their beloved pets. I've never experienced customer service with any other company like I have with Chewy. Chewy is by far a model company and I wish more businesses lived up to their standards. I have since adopted another dog, and I continue to use Chewy.

    These folks are great. Their site has a wide variety of foods and other things for pets. The item gets delivered within 3 days. And if you have a problem with the item and need to return it, they give you a full refund and ask you to donate the item to a shelter rather than sending it back to them. I cannot say enough nice things about them. Awesome company.

    I have a dog with Cushings disease and she needs to take ** for the rest of her life. Needless to say I was very impressed when I seen that Chewy.com had the best prices I could find. I had my order auto shipped which saved a few dollars but also made it much easier to always have it on hand for my fur baby. I was so impresses that I told everyone on a Cushings support group about their amazing prices.

    Within a month of telling everyone their prices increased by almost 25% or more. I was shocked. I heard rumors from some people on the support site, but honestly didn't think to much of it. I never thought Chewy would do something like that. Needless to say when I received my email about the order getting ready to be processed. I would have been paying over $30 more from the previous month. They raised their prices as I had read. I called just to ask why and was informed that they sell it at what the manufacturers prices. Which I can tell you is a load of crap because when I first started to order it I looked at the manufacturers prices because I was looking for the best all around pricing.

    Needless to say I stopped my orders and now have found a new pharmacist who does have better prices and I have notified all the people on the Cushings support site in the hopes of helping them also. I am very disappointed with Chewy I am not sure why the sudden increase and at the high of an increase. But whatever the reason why I will not be purchasing medications from them ever again.

    • A living person answers the phone. Imagine that.
    • When my dog suddenly died in 2017, I'd just received a huge order of specialty dog food from them. I called to see if I could return it. They said No, just donate it. They also (unexpectedly) credited my account the full amount.

    • March, 2021: I thought only half our cat food order was sent, and called to ask to receive the other half. Turns out that another family member had stowed the second half of the order in a place it didn't belong. Meanwhile, Chewy sent more cat food, free of charge. They won't take it back. They won't charge me even though it was our error.

    This company's customer service is top-of-the-line. I can't say enough good things here.

    Chewy is unreliable, sloppy and careless. I have used them for a while, the last three auto ships I received came in heavily damaged. It seems they hire morons in their shipping department that can't even pack things well. Case in point, they put a 27 pound box of litter in with two flats of cat food. The box had one paltry piece of paper in it as "packing". Is it any wonder that as the UPS butchers used the box as a soccer ball, the litter crushed the cans? I wonder if anyone in Chewy knows what can happen with dented, violated cans? Then I saw their president came from Amazon. So, the same corporate focus of "customer be damned" that seems to pervade Amazon, now is the corporate motto for Chewy. I will never order from them again and I wouldn’t trust them to ship a flea collar without damaging it.

    I am so amazed at Chewy.com’s customer service representative, Alicia, and the entire company. The gratefulness I feel, I can’t put into words. After losing our Zach (12 years old and 60 lbs of love ❤️), I contacted the Chewy.com customer service department. I was hoping to return the potty pads, that had arrived the day prior to our loss. Not only was Alicia kind and compassionate, she took action. She refunded my order and allowed me to donate the merchandise. Then, a few days later, my husband brought in a box that had been delivered to our front door. Roses! ???? Unbelievable. I sobbed. Alicia and the team at Chewy not only remembered Zach, but they honored our fur baby and our family in our grief. I am grateful and humbled. I will FOREVER be a Chewy customer and I will continue recommend them to everyone I know. Amazing ???? 5 stars.

    The staff at Chewy are always professional and pleasant. Any issues with orders are resolved in my favor. We recently got a dog food order and unfortunately had to euthanize our dog before the bag was open. As noted in other posts Chewy refunded the cost and told us to donate the food to a shelter. But the topper was a few days later I received flowers from Baron at Chewy.com and a sympathy note. Thank you Chewy for be a caring company and fulfilling your mission. Thank you!!

    have concerns about Chewy's delivery practices. I ordered a bottle of ** at the same time as some toys, and they delivered the ** separately, in a small package with no warning label, in a bottle that was not at all dog-proof. The delivery person had apparently not been instructed not to throw toxic chemicals over 6-foot fences into yards containing dogs (while the owners were home, no less). He threw the box of ** into my yard (although they delivered the toys to my front porch), my dog got into it within 15 minutes and overdosed, and I'm stuck with $4,000 in vet bills.

    So far, Chewy has been kind but intermittent in their responses to my situation, and they haven't kicked in to cover any of my bills. Although I thought I was saving money by ordering from Chewy instead of buying from my vet, those 30 ** ended up costing me $4000. I'm including a picture of my dog with a feeding tube, courtesy of Chewy but not paid for by them.

    So I decided to purchase my dog's prescription eye drops on Chewy because it was cheaper and seemed like it'd be convenient. Boy was I wrong! It's been over a WEEK and still they have not shipped the order. I've emailed them several times asking why they haven't shipped it yet, they keep saying the same thing, which is that my vet has not approved the prescription yet and they're working on it. That is not the truth, I have contacted my vet and asked if they received a prescription order for my dog, and they said yes they have and they faxed back the approval to Chewy. They said they did that 4 days ago and Chewy still claims they haven't gotten anything. This is turning into a complete hassle for absolutely no reason.

    My dog NEEDS these eye drops, she has what my vet described as "German Shepherd disease", which is where GSDs get a film over their eyes that looks like cataracts but isn't. The eye drops are the only thing preventing my dog from being blind and Chewy is just playing games. I am so angry and frustrated at them. Oh, and they're still holding my $50.00 hostage while they "wait for my vet to approve the prescription." Ridiculous! Do not use Chewy for anything, their customer service is terrible and they do not care about your pet, they only care about money.

    Horrible! Out of stock items are never indicated when placing an order. Order is "shipped" without being able to substitute with something else. All "out of stock" items are automatically removed from customer auto-ship order page so customer must hunt their website for the desired products for the next order instead of simply being able to reorder. We need a better company to order pet products.

    My cat refused to eat the new batch of his cat food. I asked to return the 16 cases and was sent a return label. I was told FedEx would pick up the next day. The next day I found out from FedEx that the return was not scheduled. I scheduled a return which was picked up the next day. Five days later I called to check on my refund. Two days before a manager said the refund was cleared but there was no indication on their records of him doing this. Holding on the phone for over an hour this morning, the supervisor told me they never received the return and a case was opened to locate it. I called FedEx and was told that the package was delivered five days ago and was signed for by Chewy. I called Chewy and was told another tracking number which they said was given by FedEx and that was why it was not located.

    I called FedEx back and they had no record of the second tracking number and stated they do not give another tracking number. The supervisor left a message after that stating the package was still in transit. Another lie. I called back furious and now was told that the $325. was released and should be in my credit card within five days. Somehow I don't believe them. Terrible to do this to a good customer through the years making large orders every month. Just don't try to return anything or you will be given the same kind of response. Either all their supervisors do not know what to do or what I feel now, they are doing this to hold back the funds or hoping the customer will just give up and walk away. Terrible way to do business. Shame on Chewy.

    I have used Chewy for years for many dog items (including food, toys, medications, etc.) and the customer service has always been top notch. I had an incident where my dog had her food changed by her vet and I had recently ordered a new bag of her old food. I contacted Chewy about returning the bag and they refunded me and told me to donate the food to a person who really needs it (which I did).

    I recently contacted Chewy about my beloved dog, Roxie, passing away and needing to make her account and prescriptions inactive. The customer service representative was so incredibly friendly and expressed his sadness due to my dog's passing. He took the time to help me with anything I needed and I made the process much easier for me. The next day, a bouquet for beautiful flowers was delivered to my home from Chewy with a very heartfelt note expressing their sympathy. This was the truly the kindest gesture I have ever experienced from a company. They have made me want to stop shopping at big box pet stores and only shop through them. I can't imagine using any other company for another pet. I always recommend this company to everyone I know!

    I can’t say enough about this company!! They have been so accommodating and amazing to work with. Outstanding customer service! What really topped it off for me was the fact that we had to put my fur baby down and they went above and beyond to send me such compassion during this difficult time of my grieving. They have sent heartfelt emails, to giving me a refund of my dogs last food order that was barely used, to sending me a beautiful floral arrangement. I’m truly blown away and can’t thank them enough!     I had never ordered anything from this company, before signing up for autoship for Dr. Harvey's raw dog food. Before I got the first bag my dog passed away unexpectedly. I received the bag the day after he died. I emailed customer service and told them what happened and they credited my account for the food. They were so sympathetic, I was totally touched. After several thoughtful emails, I received a bouquet of roses with a sympathy card from customer service and Chewy. com. When & if I get another dog, Chewy definitely has my business.     I ordered ** 16mg for my pitbull and 5.4mg for my Dotson. My vet charges over $200 so I went to Chewy.com which cost a lot less. They have been on those meds for about a month the first batch they was still scratching and biting a little bit. The second batch are complete trash. I emailed Chewy about it. I had no luck there. They asked me to return the order for a refund, which I can’t because the babies used it all. That’s how I know it does not work. My babies skin is completely red from scratching and biting a lot so now I have no choice but to go back to the vet. When they took the first pill from the vet I can see the difference.

    This certainly isn't my first order for Chewy but this is my first review. Their Customer Service is UNTOUCHABLE! I have never in my entire life met a nicer crew than those who work for Chewy!! The friendliest, goes above and beyond for everything you need. I've ordered the wrong size before, I've ordered the wrong product, had issues with a card - Chewy took care of everything for me.     I have been a loyal customer of Chewy.com for over a year. I have never had any issues with the company until now, I have also never returned anything before. I purchased a dog coat and paw cleaner for my pup in December which fit her to large. I ordered the smaller size immediately, smaller meaning size large, even before returning the xlarge one expecting that I would just get a refund when they received it. It is now, February and have not received my refund. All I get from the people who answer the phone is the refund is pending for 3 weeks now. I have phoned customer service numerous times to no avail.

    Terrible customer service, no one is able to assist you. When you ask to speak to a manager, they say the manager will call you back in 24 hours. It's been 14 days no call from anyone. Really, really unhappy with the customer service. No one knows what to tell me about my refund. I can't get any answers to any questions. NO MANAGEMENT IN THIS PLACE. All I want is my refund for the items that I sent back. Think twice before shopping here especially if you are not sure about the item you are purchasing. You may never see your money again, after you send it back.

Amber wrote me a very sweet email being very sympathetic and refunding not only the meds I just ordered but some of the food that I had previously ordered.     Chewy is a real class act. We were not frequent customers, but we sure will be from this point forward. Recently, I make my first purchase and ordered from Chewy several hundred dollars of medications and supplements for our elderly and sick dog. Before we received the shipments days later, my wife made the agonizing decision to save our beloved dog from further suffering. Several days after the packages arrived, my wife called Chewy to ask about any return policy under the circumstances. Remarkably, Chewy's customer service representative advised my wife that there was no need to return the products. She told my wife that our account would be credited the full amount of the purchase, and we should donate the products to a shelter or other place that would give us peace. That was just awesome, and it reflects the generous and compassionate heart of this Corporate Citizen.

    But wait; there is more. The other day I looked outside the front door and there was a box addressed to my wife. She opened the box and, to her delight, there was a dozen beautiful, long-stem roses and a card from Chewy sending condolences for the loss of our cherished dog. That is just priceless. I applaud Chewy. It expected nothing and Chewy did so much. Certainly, Chewy is invested in the smallest customer it serves. That is truly special in this day and age. Thank you, Chewy.

    I literally just made an account here so I could review this company. They have went above and beyond every step over the last year. When shipping was a mess back in March 2020 they communicated amazingly and always made sure we got our products. We've had a couple packages say they were delivered but not and literally within 20 minutes they responded to my email and said they would send out a new package. They sent my entire order again even though it was just 1 out of 2 boxes I reported missing. I had a box of cat treats arrived broke from transport and I messaged them if they could add a little more padding next order. Not only did they but they sent me 2 more boxes of cat treats even though I was not even requesting a new one. Their customer service goes above so much that I'm taking time out of my busy life working full time and having a toddler to write this. This company rocks.

    We use Chewy for all of our pet needs and usually have no problems. One of our products needs a vet approval, so when it expired I received a message telling me approval was needed. We reached out to our vet and she said she would approve, so I made the order. Our order was then "in process" for a few days before I received an email again stating that approval was needed. I created a new order and again waited. In the meantime, I contacted the vet who confirmed that she had approved it through her online portal. Again, I received an email from Chewy a few days later stating approval needed. I called Chewy directly and the customer rep told me that it was good to go. Later that day I received an email stating that approval was needed!! Made a 3rd order. Confirmed that the vet approved it. Received an email from Chewy stating order was approved. Then received a 2nd order from Chewy stating that approval was needed??!!

    Went to Chewy and corresponded through their 'online chat" and was told that the wrong approval was obtained? I forwarded this to the vet who basically said, "WTF!!" There is only one way to approve it online. The vet actually advised us to order elsewhere as Chewy were being so ridiculous. She ultimately called Chewy directly and had it approved. What should have been a straightforward issue became a 2 week saga which took up not only my time but the vets as well. Clearly something is wrong with Chewy's process of vet approvals, as I have no doubt my vet approved this order 2x online. Notified Chewy of this and got a terse response stating that approval was obtained on the day of the vet call. Really poor and disappointing from Chewy.

    I was ordering American made chicken jerky chews for my dogs to the tune of 4 bags per month. I decided not to autoship because I didn't trust the company yet. Good thing I did, as I watched the price raise $2/bag on each order. Within a month and a half the costs increased 25%, from a start of $30 a bag, close to $40 a bag. It's likely that wouldn't have stopped either. I would never order from this company again until they ditch their price gouging habits. I go local now to avoid the internet wherever possible. I contacted the jerky company to let them know and asked if I could order direct. They suggested Amazon. I replied "no thanks", and have ditched the treats altogether.

    I have been using Chewy for years for my 3 dogs and 2 granddogs. Saturday we had to put out sweet 15 y/o Dachshund Cinni down. We are all devastated. I had two bags of her special kidney food left and emailed them to see if I could return one when I cancelled the auto shipment. They responded saying they are sorry for my loss and gave me a credit for the dog food and asked me to donate it to a shelter. Then the next day I received a bouquet of flowers with condolences.     I have used Chewy's autoship feature for years but cancelled today. I guess I was spoiled with 3 day delivery but this last one is supposed to be arriving 6 days after I ordered. Since Chewy says delivery in 1-3 days, that isn't quite holding up their end of the bargain. In fairness, I did order on Saturday, but even taking the weekend into consideration, that still doesn't meet their stated criteria of 3 days. Also, they offer no other shipping carrier than FedEx which is notoriously unreliable in my area. I have found the same product on Amazon for $10 less and with Prime shipping, faster turnaround time.

    I have been getting my dog’s prescription food from Chewy.com for a long time via their subscription service. The service has always been impeccable. I had just received 3 cases of food when my dog unexpectedly passed away. I contacted Chewy to cancel my subscription and mentioned that my dog had died. The customer service representative was so kind and compassionate, which was lovely. She then told me that I would be refunded for the 3 unopened cases of dog food and to just donate the food to a shelter. Wow. I was blown away by this kind of compassionate customer service, which is rarely seen these days. Well, today I received a delivery of a beautiful bouquet of flowers along with a condolence card from Chewy. Whaaat? I can’t say enough about this wonderful company. They’re doing it right.     I have been a customer of Chewy for years, off and on. My cat passed away very suddenly and I had just received an autoship. I contacted them to see about returning the unopened boxes (more than $100 of product). The representative that I spoke with was extremely kind and sympathetic and said they would refund me for the order and I should just donate the food to a local shelter, which I will absolutely do. Then to top it off, I just received a lovely floral arrangement from them.     I have been placing orders through Chewy.com for years and only recently have I had an issue that they stepped in to remedy far earlier than I would have expected. My standard auto ship order showed that it was delivered via FedEx, but it wasn't at my house nor my neighbor's. I filed a claim with FedEx and then emailed Chewy.com right away to let them know that the order didn't make it as expected. They sent a very nice response to my email within an hour saying that they replaced my order at $0 and to let them know when/if the initial package arrives. I responded to their email thanking them for the amazing customer service and they responded AGAIN with a wonderful message.     When I started using Chewy they were good. Stuck to their word 2-3 day shipping and never really any problems. Now I have gotten damaged products. Open boxes. Longer deliveries too. They sent almost a week ago. Kitty treats they sent to me have taken almost two weeks to get here and still have not been delivered and now I have cancelled my last order over taking entirely too long to get my fur babies their food. Even more ridiculous almost a week to get my money back. Absolutely unacceptable. This place has really gone down hill with their company.     My Dog was diagnosed with a severe heart condition. I was using Chewy services prior to this. Upon diagnosis, Chewy.com claimed they could contact my vet, get the prescriptions and prescriptive pre cardio food prescription in a timely manner. Long and short of it, they never contacted my dogs vet for a few prescriptions which are crucial and detrimental to her life. My vet confirmed they never had a such requests. To top it, I cannot give her her meds without her cardio food.

    Now, I was promised to have her food today... Only to find out FedEx will not deliver until January 6th.... This means I should starve her and not give her her heart meds that keep her alive. This company is a business... nothing less, nothing more. Negligent, careless, heartless, unethical to say the least. Terrible terrible company. Just another business in it for the dollar and full of malarkey when it comes to answering questions and following up. Will never use them again, and will let everyone I know to not use them. Don’t walk, run from this company if your loved pet has special needs.

    I recently used Chewy to compound a rather expensive heart failure med for our 11 yr old dog. When I received the medicine it had lost about 5ml. Of liquid during shipment.     Great customer service. I've been a CHEWY customer for years. I only had 1 issue with crushed cans which was immediately resolved and payment refunded. The customer service reps are extremely helpful and all seem very eager to help. Today I called to see if I could return some prescription cat food for my kitty that I had to euthanize this year.     I have always been very satisfied with Chewy until now. I ordered dog food for my puppy last week and was given a delivery date of 12/28. It did not come yesterday and when I called this morning the customer service rep was very uncaring and rude. Her supervisor was also very rude and unhelpful. I could not get a delivery date from them. They kept saying it should be here today but it really should have been here yesterday. I am going to have to go to the Petco in my area (which I always avoid) and put myself at risk for COVID. This is neither respectful or kind.

    I've been using Chewy exclusively for over 3 years and EVERY time I speak with a rep, it's like talking to a friend. Their reps make the company shine, with awesome customer service and a total willingness to help in any way possible. Delivery is also top notch. We get heavy stuff like 40lb pails of litter, cases of canned food delivered right to the front door-instead of dealing with in-store or curbside pick up issues elsewhere. (Plus, It's bliss not having to haul it all from the garage up 2 flights of stairs). Really, start using Chewy and you'll see for yourself how great of a time saver it is to get EXACTLY what you want, for a great price, in a fast way and right to your door.

    I ordered from Chewy when looking for a high protein dog food recommended called Victors. I absolutely love the food. It has done my Bully well. She's healthy. Has good definition in her build and a beautiful coat. I began order other things from Chewy as well. The services is awesome. They do have an autoship option however I don't like using those type of services. Yesterday I found I mistakenly failed to order her food and she was down to approximately 2 more feedings. While at work I went on and ordered after 4 pm. I did not ask for a rush or anything however the following day FedEx delivered her food at 1030 am. I love their shipping. It has always been quick and easy. If you want a great company to deal with Chewy.com is awesome. They even make getting My Bullies Bravecto easy. Definitely a 5 star company.

    Horrible experience again with Chewy. Placed an order, was 2 weeks late and never arrived. Was sent to the wrong part of the country and then to cover for themselves, Chewy removed my ability to even track the package. Wouldn't communicate they lost the package until I reached out twice. At which point they offered a refund. Waste of time to buy from them. Buy local or even at companies like Petco or better yet just buy from Amazon. Chewy is a bad brand.

    I have never written a review for a company before, but also not sure I have ever been quite as impressed with a company's customer service, compassion and kindness as Chewy.com. Their customer service and quick reply to any issue is commendable, but it was the sensitivity and kindness they showed me when I told them that our beloved dog had passed away so I needed to cancel her medications,- not only did I receive what seemed like genuine heartfelt messages of sympathy, they sent flowers to our home?? What corporate company does that for any customer? We have another dog, but I don't know if they know that - so as far as they are concerned I may have been a customer they would never have heard from again, but I can not speak highly enough of them... A wonderful company.

    I have never been treated so horrible in my life as I have over dog and cat food by this company. They first charged me almost $600 for my order (charged twice) turned around and after I complained about it even though they had gotten the money for my goods already stopped the shipment in the middle of delivery and never refunded me my money. Management did get involved and they are currently supposedly taking care of all of the issues but never again will I purchase from this company. Beware as I do not believe I am the only person they have done this to. Corporate will be investigating this at my request.

    I have had pets a long time and started using Chewy from a postcard mailed to me when I moved to Florida in 2003. Customer is King! If you need assistance with site or help deciding on a product, call Customer Service. If there is an issue with an item received, call. A real person quickly answers the phone and you immediately know their name. Yesterday I had to call about receiving a wrong size of a doggie bed. I was able to get the right product being shipped to me already out the door today! I was told I could donate the wrong size bed. Since I had adopted Lucky only days ago, I already have it ready to give to the small rescue from which he came.

    I complimented them on the other wonderful products I received, a crate that was easily assembled and the fabulous plush mat that goes inside the crate. They truly love pets, love to help and even empathize when you tell them about the loss of a pet that led to this adoption. Wonderful Customer Service ALL THESE YEARS!

    I ordered some medicine for my little Millie from Chewy to alleviate her allergies. When she died, I let them know to stop the order. I was so incredibly sad. She died in July and I still cry thinking about her. The people from Chewy sent me flowers and a sympathy note. I can't tell you how meaningful that was to me at that time.     I ordered 9 items to assist in setting up another aquarium. They threw all the items in a large box WITH NO INTERNAL PROTECTION like paper/foam peanuts/bubble wrap-NO SHIPPING PROTECTION from the ITEMS be bounced around during shipment. Maybe they think I didn't deserve good packaging as I used a coupon they sent me unsolicited. Now I wonder if the electronic parts of my order will function correctly or be short lived, not to mention that a 5 lb. jar of Charcoal was in there to bounce around and beat up everything else. In my 50 Years of Aquatics, This was by far the WORST packaging Or should I call it no packaging protection! UGH.

    As a two year customer always pleased with the results - no longer. Orders that took 3 to 4 days now take at least 14. I ordered dog food 11/5/20 - it hasn’t arrived and delivery is scheduled 11/19/20??? I will support my local pet store from here on. Chewy uses Fedex who then subcontracts with a much slower provider - On Trac... Anything they deliver I cancel - totally unreliable.

    I had ordered several Chinchilla products, 10 days later my 18 year old Chinchilla Jackie passed away. I thought no problem, I have Avalanche, he will enjoy the product. Well 2 days ago he passed away also at the age of 16, I called Chewy to see if I could return the product. They told me no need to return the product, they gave me my money back, they told me to give it to a rescue. I am sending the product to a Chinchilla rescue in Wilmington, il. Today! to my surprise I received a beautiful arrangement of an assortment of roses with a sympathy card. Thank you Chewy for caring.

    Our family’s dog started having issues with not wanting to eat. Our vet prescribed a critical care wet dog food to help us syringe food her to help keep her comfortable. There was a delay in receiving the food which was on my vet office’s end and not Chewys. Our dog had passed away and the representative I talked to was so kind and sympathetic that they gave us a full refund, canceled the autoship for us, and had us donate the carton of food to any shelter of our choice in our dog Chelsea’s honor. Then a few days later we received a beautiful bouquet of flowers with a nice message of their condolences on our loss. My family and I never thought a company would so compassionate and go out of their way to help us in our time of grief. I highly recommend and encourage everyone to shop through Chewy.     I have been ordering from Chewy.com for many years. The entire company, from ordering, to shipping, to customer service has never disappointed. I have switched my dogs' foods many times and have never had any issues with quality. Their shipping is the quickest I've ever seen as well (sometimes even faster than Amazon). If there has been any issue, such as ripped bags of food or damaged product, they are quick to reship out a new item at no cost. If I have ordered a product and needed to return, their response has almost always been to donate it and they will issue a refund. Their customer service representatives are always friendly and helpful as well.

    To top off their amazing services and products, I checked my mail today to find a small package from Chewy. I knew I didn't order anything and was a bit weary. I opened it to find 2 wrapped squares in wrapping paper and when unwrapped were these two adorable painted portraits of 2 of my dogs. It came with a card thanking me for being a loyal customer. I have never had a company send me anything (without being purchased), let alone a personalized portrait of my 2 dogs (which could not be replicated as a stock photo). Even though almost all of my pet product purchases come from Chewy anyway, I will make sure to use them for all purposes.

    I wanted to express my experience because I order from Chewy and this was my first time having a problem. I emailed them and explained that two outfits were not the size I expected. Immediately I got an email that said I would receive a refund and asked me if I wanted the correct size using the card on file and said they would not charge me shipping. They also said to give the wrong size to a shelter or someone in need because they did not need me to return the items. (I expressed that I wanted another size I thought would work for my dog in my original email) I looked at my account and the refund was already there.     Watch your auto ship carefully! 3 Chewy reps tell me the packages can be delivered on different days & it was suggested that I have a backup bag of cat food just in case. Sure didn’t mind hitting my bank account monthly for up to $200 a month though. Kitten dry, adult cat dry, 2 tubs of cat litter, huge bag of dog food & Feliway diffusers in last order. Yet I find the cat litter on my doorstep & informed other box will be here tomorrow. My animals’ health & wellbeing are a priority for me but not for chewy. Buying in bulk for the month failed dismally after only a few months. I can not think of a single reason to continue to have Bon Bon’s auto ship in the future when there are other companies such as Petco. After all, everyone offers a discount of some sort when buying on a repeated basis. Don’t learn the hard way like I did, tonight.

    I dont really leave reviews but after realizing what an amazing company Chewy.com is I had to. I've always gotten my products from chewy up until my dog passed away. They helped me with everything and even sent me flowers when she passed. I thought it was super thoughtful of a top corporation to do that when they didn't have to. They refunded all the recent purchases I made without a hassle. It was truly thoughtful and the customer service is amazing with anything you need or if you want to vent. This will always be my place to shop when I'm ready to get another pet.     Watch your bills. California does not charge tax for pet medications. I noticed tax in the amount of $9.90 was being charged on my last order of medication for my dog. I wrote customer service and was told I am correct but they do not have the authority to refund the tax and that it would have to go to a supervisor for approval. A week went by, no response and no refund. I called customer service and was told I was being refunded the tax. No apology and as of now, no refund. I started looking at other invoices and have discovered more tax charges. I can't even imagine how much money they are making off of people not noticing or knowing about California Tax. Isn't this how class action lawsuits come about?

    This past year when the pandemic hit, it became hard to buy cat food in the stores and online. They frequently were out of the kind I needed to get or they had restrictions on the amount I could buy. At the same time, my 6-year-old cat was diagnosed with cancer. I needed to keep his weight up with his favorite kind of foods.

    Enter Chewy.com to the rescue! I discovered that I could buy cases of my cat's favorite foods online and have them auto shipped at the frequency I chose. This was such a welcome relief. I could even go in and change quantities and advance shipments when I wanted to.     Have been ordering from Chewy's for a couple of years. Lately it been a nightmare to deal with them. Something is wrong with the ordering system. They lose orders placed online. It's a constant problem that has lead me to believe somethings is wrong with this company. When I talk to customer service everyone tells you a different story for the failure to process the order. It has happened to me and friends. I will no longer order from them. Found Amazon is cheaper on pet supplies and quicker.

    My roommate's puggle passed away recently after we had just bought it food from Chewy. When I called to ask about a refund they were like, "Absolutely. Just go ahead and donate the food and your card will be refunded." No run around, no attitude just acceptance and support. Plus they answer the phone when you call them and you don't have to deal with any automated garbage or being put on hold forever. The last thing still brings tears to my eyes.     My twelve year old cat Beau suddenly went blind last week and suffered neurological complications then sadly passed away Tuesday this week. I had made a large order for supplies with Chewy to help in caring for him a blind cat. After Beau's passing I decided the next day to return items not used. I call Chewy customer service and spoke to Siearrah. To my surprise she not only was so sympathetic and kind to authorize my return she told me not worry about it and just donate the items. I am planning to donate next week all the items to the same shelter I adopted Beau from. :)

    If that alone was not awesome, yesterday I received a beautiful boutique of flowers with a lovely note from Siearrah. This is a amazing company that really cares about their customers furry and human.     I recently purchased bladder support pills for my dog, Breeze. Three days after I placed the order, she unexpectedly passed away. I contacted Chewy’s support team to try and refund the pills, and they gladly refunded me and said I could either donate them to a rescue or humane society, or use them for other pets. Not only was I pleased with that, but they also sent me flowers and a letter expressing their condolences.     I ordered a large hamster wheel and received a small. After contacting the company, they told me I would receive the correct size. Wring size came again. They told me they didn't actually have the size I wanted and told me they would refund me. They told me I would receive over $12 for my refund, but I received less than $8 due to a coupon used. The representative told me the amount I would receive though and after calling to make this right, was told they would not give me the amount promised and wanted me to spend more money to try and get the correct wheel. I was so disgusted by their lack of trying to make things right and will never buy from them again.

    Today I placed my last order with Chewy due service issues encountered in the last six months. When I said that I spend $4k a year but was finished due to issues,, the person on the phone at Chewy said "Awesome"... Which tells me they failed to listen or just don't care. I spend over $4K a year at Chewy and resent the lack of consideration for the customer, Between the double orders and blanket cancellation of orders and the response from Chewy when I called to complain? One star - they are the best unless there is a question, then Chewy is the worst. UPDATE- when I canceled the order, "Awesome"... but now I see it was not canceled, but billed and shipped. For six years, the best customer service...

    After paying for a prescription with funds from my PayPal account, Chewy never notified me that they couldn't fill it. I cancelled the undelivered portion of the order and asked for a refund. It has been just under 4 weeks of the runaround from their "customer service" department. I placed an order for Lily on Sunday, Sept 27th, and on Tuesday, Sept 29th our beloved Lily died from the heart complications. We were absolutely heartbroken.     Chewy could be a great deal if they could get their orders correct when shipping. I have ordered from them at least ten times and four out of the ten orders I received are missing items. When you call to inform Chewy the order was missing items, they do replace the items, but who wants to keep calling after you receive the order to inform them of the error? The last time I called, I received one of the two items I ordered was made to feel like I was lying. My expectation is that I receive the items I paid for. This company is very lax, with no oversight which makes it very frustrating for the customer. I can no longer order from Chewy the hassle is not worth it.

    I want to be fair about this company. I have been ordering products, like food, toys, harnesses, etc. for both my dogs and my daughter's cat for a long time and have always had great service. However, for the first time, I tried ordering pharmaceuticals. My dog is diabetic and we just moved from one state to another. My old vet carried insulin and I was able to purchase whenever I needed with just a day's notice. I discovered in my new state, vets don't carry medication for sale.

    I called everywhere (except Costco because it hadn't opened yet in my town) and none of the pharmacies, Walmart/Sam's Club/CVS, etc. did not carry insulin for dogs. I could only purchase online. I ordered with Chewy because they had the best price. At this point, I had about a week supply, so I thought that was plenty of time. Each day, I checked on my order and was told, it would ship tomorrow. 6 days later and it still has not shipped!! I am dangerously low now.

    On the weekend, I called other Costco's and there was one in another town that had it in stock. I asked my vet to call in another prescription because I am about to run out and Chewy still hadn't shipped. Luckily, I got another bottle at that Costco. What is up with Chewy?? Don't they realize it's life or death if my dog doesn't get her insulin?? I did try to speak with a supervisor twice when I called, but each time placed on indefinite hold and finally hung up. They are great for other things, but if you need meds for your dog, I would suggest trying to be a month in advance because they obviously have no sense in the timeliness of important medication.

    I placed an order on 09/24/2020 based on 1-3 shipping that they advertise. According to their own website the order did not ship until 09/25/2020 and they say I should receive by 10/02/2020, however FedEx website says 10/01/2020. I tried to send an email voicing my displeasure as now I have to go to the local pet store and pay more money to get food to hold me over until then and got a generic automated response. Tried to go online and chat with a customer service rep about it and she disconnected the chat in the middle of me typing a sentence.

    Called the 800 customer service line and was basically told it was Fed Ex fault and the person I was talking to did not to even seem to care and told me to call FedEx. Their prices are about the same as my local pet store, so I will go back there for my supplies in the future. Chewy.com gained and lost a customer within the course of 48 hours and I will make sure I tell all my friends and family of my displeasure. What has customer service come to these days????

    We were victims of one of the August 2020 fires on the West coast - losing everything we owned in a matter of minutes. We were suddenly out of a home, ending up in a hotel with our 3 dogs in a neighboring city. The dogs' flea and heartworm meds that we'd purchased months prior from Chewy.com were also lost in the fire. I had emailed Chewy.com telling them about the fire and the loss. They immediately said they would replace the meds free of charge - which by itself was a huge gesture of kindness! As promised, new meds for the dogs soon arrived at our hotel (and thank you Luke, Britnie and Carlos for your heartfelt messages!).

    But wait - there's more... In addition to quickly sending out the replacement meds, Chewy also sent flowers to us with a kind note attached. That really touched us - brought us to tears to think that a corporation would do something that personalized and special. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. In a time when you're usually just a number to a big company, Chewy.com was really there for our pets, and us - so compassionate - and added those personalized touches that will make us loyal customers for life.     I used to be a big fan of Chewy but their service and customer service has plummeted over the past year or two. Recently they have sent many overpacked boxes, causing damage to the products, and then demand that I spend my own valuable time and resources RETURNING the ruined products to them before they will refund or replace! As if I work for them when I have PAID for these goods and have not received, they put conditions on KEEPING UP THEIR END OF THE BARGAIN by replacing the unusable product. Eventually they did replace the product but only after about six conversations up the supervisor chain. A ridiculous waste of time. And not even a $5 coupon for all the hours wasted on their mistake....

    Repeat complaints do nothing, they do not appear to care about retaining customers anymore. Moved most of my orders to other retailers, only keeping Chewy for items that cannot be found elsewhere because PETCO now owns Chewy. Very sad and disappointing, another good company ruined by selling itself to the highest bidder.

    I sent in my dog's life-sustaining med script to Chewy.com 7 days ago, drove to the post office mailbox to make sure it went out that day. Double checked that I used correct address, wrote order # on script, and recorded it ALL in my book. Got email they didn't receive it. Called, they couldn't find it, said maybe their pharmacy didn't get it?!? They haven't figured out how to communicate with their pharmacy yet? Haven't been in pharmacy business long, and obviously they haven't gotten it right. I switched from 800 pet meds. That was a precious script I drove to Vet cardio to pick up. Just read they are owned by Petsmart. I should have stayed with 800 Pet Meds, they have no business being in important medication business. Now I have to beg a closer vet to let me buy it there today while my dog is coughing without his med. DO NOT USE CHEWY.COM FOR IMPORTANT MEDS! Save your pet.

    If I could give 10 stars, I would. My cat was diagnosed with diabetes about a month ago and needed diabetic management food which is when I turned to Chewy.com...They were the cheapest! I ran into a snag when getting the approval for the prescription diet due to my maiden name being listed with Chewy.com and my married name with the vet hospital BUT Chewy emailed me with status updates and after a few days I called them and a real person answered the phone! Within 1 phone call the situation was solved and approval was received from my vet while I held for a few minutes. They even gave me a discount due to the delay.

    About 3 weeks later my cat, Chunk, stopped eating for 2 days which is when we found out he had a large mass in his stomach, fluid in his abdomen and lymphoma. I called Chewy.com to cancel my autoship order since we had to send Chunk to heaven. This is where the 10 stars comes in...3 days later a beautiful bouquet of flowers was delivered from them with condolences regarding Chunk. I think it says a lot about a company when they pay attention to detail, discount your order for a minor delay (which was my error), customer service is a human and most importantly the care they show for their customers. What an incredible company which I would highly recommend to anyone! Plus they deliver (added bonus)!

    I placed an order for a 6 month supply of HeartWorm prevention for 4 of my dogs. While filling out the order I was asked for my vet info and you are given the option to send the prescription in or have Chewy contact your vet for approval. The site says it is faster if you allow them to contact your vet. I did this and waited, and waited, and waited. I never got an email or a phone call to let me know of any issues that they were having but this order was not being filled. The order just showed "Preparing to ship" in the status.

    I called and was told they were still trying to get approval and would try again and it should ship out soon. This did not happen! a week later I called again, same story! I then called my vet to check with them and make sure there was no issue there they informed me that many of their patients had reported similar issues with Chewy RX.

    I called Chewy back and this time was not hanging up until it was resolved. That rep was amazing and she called the pharmacy while I was on hold and she got to the bottom of it. I now have the pills I ordered just 1 month after placing the order! this is uncalled for! I also ordered a shower tool for bathing the dogs that was received 1 day after placing the order! I may order food treats toys and grooming tools in the future but it will be a cold day in hell before I order meds again! it is not worth any discount you might get from them I had to work hard to finally get the meds sent to me! I hope this will help future shoppers.

    I have been using Chewy for many years now and for the past year started ordering ** for my dog. I would receive the order on time every 2 weeks with no issues. Since Covid hit it has been a very bad experience. While I understand circumstances have changed, my dog getting his life sustaining medicine should not be compromised. Every time the autoship was placed it would just state preparing to ship and nothing after that. I would place the call a week later and am told the Pharmacist is waiting on the doctor for the RX. However when I call my doctor's office, they have not contacted them. After getting verbal approvals, but order is still not being worked. I was told by the Customer Service Rep that a Pharmacist would call me back and again a week later...nothing. I cannot believe that I get no phone call or responses to my dog's needs. Never again will I use them.

    I just lost my 15 year old rescue dog "Rosie" and was absolutely heartbroken. She had stopped eating her dog food for the last couple of months.     I attempted to have 2 prescriptions filled by Chewy and ordered some pizzle. Well after processing the first script for 9 days we finally called (after also receiving out box of pizzle filled with ants but I'll get back to that). First we were told that they could not get through to our vet, then they said that our vet had requested chewy not contact them any longer for prescription verification. Well which is is?! You can't get through to them or they told you not to contact them? Furthermore as you have had these prescriptions for 9 days now, when were you planning on informing me there was a problem and that I would need to mail in the original scripts?! Now the ant problem, I ordered some loose pizzle. These were just thrown in a shipping box. Ants had invaded the box and 100s of ants were inside unknown to us, which proceeded to get all over my kitchen because that is where we opened it. I'm still killing random ants the following morning.

    They offer free shipping on orders but they don't show up. My package was out for delivery on the 22nd of this month. It was delayed to the 25th.... Today is the 28 and it has never been out for for delivery again! DO NOT buy from here if you need you pet's medications on a schedule as they use the worse delivery option available (now over a week past promised delivery date).

    Here I sit waiting a week later for my dog’s prescription. The vet was completely aggravated that I requested Chewy instead of buying the meds from him ($100 at vet, $25 at Chewy - same meds). So, he refused to fax the prescription to Chewy (he provided a written Rx). Instead, I was required to mail the written prescription by USPS to Chewy. I have inquired numerous times this week from Chewy customer service. I am 99% certain that Rx was in their hands by Monday. However, a week later... I still do not have the important meds for my dog. Customer service has not been helpful in this regard. With pet foods and other items, the customer service has always been great. Not this time!

    Chewy.com has put a hold on my bank account. Like many Americans living pay check to pay check - this puts undue burden on. My pharmacy order was cancelled last Friday, A hold was put on my account for this cancelled order two days later on Sunday, I chatted with two representatives that shared the hold would come off within 24-48 hours, that would be Tuesday. It is now Thursday and the hold is still on my bank account. The rep I chatted with today stated I would have to contact my bank, then get on a three way call with Chewy to resolve this??

    I ordered formula probiotics and bottles for my foster kitten. They have always been great so I wasn't worried. I still had a whole can. The next evening I check my order and it's not shipped! I check my email. Nothing beyond thanks for the order. It's not my bad they took the money. I called customer service. They held my order until I verify my security information. Ok cool. Would have been nice to be informed of this when I ordered. But no. So my kitten is on puppy formula cause that's all I could find until tomorrow when I can take the hour drive to a bigger town. Never again will I trust this company with my pet's safety. They did cancel my order finally.

    Thanks to the customer rep., @Chewy.com, my 19+ year old cat may have an extended quality of life! He was on thyroid meds for years and we were unable to have the prescription refilled again unless he made a vet appearance. Due to his age and issues, decided not to do so and let him go naturally. I heard that there might be a natural thyroid option for him to take in liquid form. The product was suggested and our Sammy is doing so much better in his later years. Thank you so much!

    I order 2 large boxes of cat litter and a large bag of cat food. 1 box of cat litter will come wrapped individual in a slippery box. And the other box of litter will be with the large bag of food. Too heavy to lift. You have to tear the box open just 2 get it off my porch. They are too cheap to box each item individually.

    I started shopping at Chewy.com several months ago, when Covid took over. I have had to contact their support team several times, mostly because I messed up my orders, but every single time they have 100% helped me out, no questions asked! A few weeks ago FedEx left my box outside and it rained all day long. By the time I got home, the water broke into the box and actually soaked into my bag of dog food, which ended up making my dog food mold. I filed a claim with FedEx, it's been 3 weeks and they still have not responded. I emailed Chewy about it, sent in pictures and within 24hrs, they replied to my email and immediately sent me another bag for free. I'm going to continue shopping with Chewy, I can't say anything bad about my experience the last 5 months.

    I ordered 3 prescription products from Chewy for my dog that has CHF and an enlarged heart. I ordered Heart Care Dry Food, Liver Care Canned Food, and treats ALL prescription. I've never ordered prescription dog food before. I spoke to my vet and they said they would be contacted and give them approval. So I made my purchases. Filled out my vets information and waited. After a couple days I called my vet and they had heard nothing. I called Chewy and they said they had faxed twice. They assured me they had my vets fax number and said they would try again. Few days later still nothing.

    So I speak to Chewy again and they have me on the phone for nearly an hour and while I'm on hold, they get verbal approval from my vet for unlimited ordering. Finally! In the mean time, I have a sick dog who needs that food. So a couple days later I get a email telling me that my order would be cancelled due to no vet approval! So I call Chewy AGAIN and speak to a manager. I tell her all about it and she puts me in hold. (Each time I called about this order which looking at my phone history was 9 times within two weeks!) So this manager looks everything over and says she can tell by who all was involved with my previous call, that they had contacted my vet but never documented the approval! I am livid at this point. So she says, "This is clearly our fault. I am going to close this out and make sure you get this order sent to you, free of charge." I said thank you, this has been pretty ridiculous.

    So at this point I have the fax number in front of me so I compare it with her and that's fine, so she says it will all be taken care of. A few days later I had an appointment with my vet so I just ask them while I am there about it but they STILL had received nothing! I ask them to just give me the written RX's figuring I will just upload them when I get home. When I get home and sign in, I find out that because the manager closed it out so they could comp me on it, I couldn't upload it. So I call them yet again. On the phone again forever and the guy I talked to got verbal approval AGAIN from my vet. I also found out that they did NOT have the correct fax number even after we compared numbers on one of my earlier calls.

    So I explain to this guy my order was covered free per manager so-in-so (have her name) so he says he will now send it to those who take care of that. Said he would call me the next day to be sure it was straightened out. They all said that but no one ever called. So I finally get a email that my order shipped! I look at it and it's for one bag of dry food. No liver care food or her bag of treats. OMG! So yes, I call again. I am informed that this is all they are sending me free. So after all their continuous screw ups, they finally secure the scripts then refuse to keep their word. I GAVE them the name of the manager who closed out the order and told me it was being comped. The guy was really snotty with me.

    This is by far one of the most outrageous situations I've ever dealt with from any company. Worst part is for them, my dog is followed on social media by thousands and has a reach of over 10 thousand per week. They stand to lose a lot more than if they had simply kept their word and honored their solution to the level of multiple and repeated incompetence I was subjected to. I had planned to buy it or I would not of ordered it. But after all that BS, I accepted their offer to comp my order as I felt it was the very least they could do. My uncle is loaded and has a large property in PA. They have over 30 cats living on their property each and every one gets vet care and has been neutered or spayed. They WERE getting large orders from Chewy each month. WERE. I plan to post this review EVERYWHERE that reviews companies. My followers will also be advised to avoid this company. They messed over the wrong person this time.

    Started the process to order Heartworm preventative July 19. Pharmacy called vet after closing at 5 PM, phones forwarded to the Emergency Clinic, who said I was not a regular client. Talked with the vet and two techs at the vet clinic, said no problem. Will certify for sale. Advised Chewy to call the clinic when it is open. Chewy was declined because only one of the two dogs was blood tested for worms. Two Chewy techs said they had fixed the problem, and didn't.

    Changed the order to the one blood tested dog. Waited, not sent, this was because Chewy said they could only hold the credit card for 48 hours so order canceled. I canceled and reordered, told by the Chewy tech that approval was already on file, and should have med for one dog in three days, Tuesday. Call Chewy again because no notice of order sent, and was told there was no info for vet on file with this most recent order, (same vet for all prior orders) and no approval on file for the same dog that supposedly had approval on record on Friday (now it is Monday). Chewy pharmacy said they only had an order on file for the one dog that was denied initially July 19, nothing for the approved dog. July 19 until August ten, no progress. Not worth the effort.

    We used to LOVE Chewy! We could find anything for a fraction of the costs! For nearly six month, Chewy has been out of all four types of dog food we bought. We would think it may be a distribution problem but WalMart and many others are carrying the products just fine and now their prices are the same as Chewy! Unfortunately, specialty animal supplies (guinea pig supplies, etc.) are about all we can use Chewy for. What used to be $300-$400 every other month is about $50/mo now. Disappointing.

    I ordered medicine July 31st which was supposed to be arriving every 6 weeks with auto-ship. When tracking it was sitting in the pharmacy warehouse for 6 days with USPS saying they were waiting for a shipping label. They were already four weeks late with auto shipping when I called. The customer service rep on July 31 at was very rude when I called to inquire why it wasn’t auto shipped last month. Since their reps have been working out if their homes due to COVID it seems there is no monitoring their calls so they can be as rude as they want. I called again yesterday asking where are my dogs Eyedrops and this rep kept interrupting me passing the buck.

    I purchased the 61” Frisco cat tree, I expected the quality to be better for the price. We had to puncture our own holes through the fabric of the condos for the screws to go through. Once we were more than halfway done building the tree, we realized that the square condo doesn’t align properly on the board. There were 2 vertical holes on the condo and 2 horizontal holes on the board. Unfortunately my condo can’t be aligned correctly like the picture..

    I called customer service and they were more than willing to help. The rep asked if I wanted to return it and they’ll send out a replacement. I told her it was a hassle to take apart the tree and send it back and asked if I can just get a partial refund and I’ll try to drill the hole myself. The rep wanted to ask a supervisor if it’s possible to send out a replacement part but unfortunately they don’t have parts. She ended up just sending me a replacement tree and told me to keep my current one for parts or donate it.

    Check your bill - I have been using Chewy for years and since my credit card renewed I had to update my information for my next shipment. To my surprise when I checked the price, it was higher that stated on the website. I checked previous orders and and not that the price varies but I noticed that they overcharge a little and it makes me mad that they take advantage of this and probably make $$ from this with all the people they rip off. Wish there was a better way to get this message out for people to beware of the advantage they are taking. Just a few bucks a month from their subscribers is a lot. THEY ARE BANDITS.

    I placed an order for Heartgard online. The company then said they were unable to get through to my veterinarian on the phone. Later, they change the story to say that the veterinarians office said they could not authorize a prescription as the vet did not see my dog. I contacted my vet to confirm that my dog had a complete exam on May 7. The vet requested that I sign a release since the vet was unable to do a heartworm blood test as the exam was conducted outside during COVID-19. I made another trip to the vet office and handled the paperwork as they requested.

    Chewy.com said they still have not heard from the vet. I called my vet again and they confirmed that they had spoken to a pharmacist named Rick at the company. I even got Chewy.com on the phone, while having on another extension, the veterinarian’s office. Several company representatives said they would follow up and call me back. Never got the call and never got the product. I was left hanging and wasted almost a week. I finally ordered the product from another online vendor. My recommendation is to not use this company for ordering pet medications.

    I've been shopping at Chewy since they were born and they USED TO BE fair in their pricing and courteous/responsive in their customer service. Since they were bought out by PetSmart, they've become intolerably greedy with their price markups and refusal to lower them. Their claim that their prices "reflect market fluctuations" is totally BS.... THEY set their prices and they're REAMING the consumers with their markups. I KNOW the cost of manufacturing/importing AAFCO-rated pet food and I also know the distribution/wholesale costs for this market. CHEWY IS GREEDY!!! That the only conclusion any market analysis will show. They're in it for the PROFITS, not the PETS.

    The day my husband and I had to put our beloved 18-year-old cat, Magellan, to sleep, we returned home, tear-stained and sniffling, to discover a huge box of his prescription food from Chewy sitting on our front porch. About $250 worth. The following day, I pulled myself together to call Chewy.com and find out if I could return the food. Not only was customer service representative empathetic, caring and helpful, she issued me a full return on the entire shipment, plus an additional return for a bag of food that we hadn't opened yet. When I asked how I should return everything to them, the customer service agent said that I could keep it all.

    Keep in mind that this happened as the COVID pandemic was first peaking, so not having to go to the post office to mail large, heavy boxes was a relief. Even better, when I said I would like to donate the food, they encouraged me to do so. They literally donated $300 dollars of expensive prescription cat food to us and we passed it on, along with dozens of unopened cans for which we hadn't requested a refund, to the Pinellas Humane Society. The total donation was about $500 of both dry and canned food, and Chewy.com made most of that possible.

    If this didn't sell you on ordering your pet products through Chewy.com, this will. A few days after Magellan's death, the Chewy's customer service representative sent us an incredible bouquet of flowers because of our tragic loss. I was without words and that doesn't occur often. I'd only recently begun ordering from Chewy.com, but now I'm a customer for life. The best part is that Chewy.com's prices are better than any of the big name pet stores I've visited, and they really do treat their clients like family. Thank you, Chewy.com. You and your team made a terrible day better for us and for the all the kitties at the Pinellas Humane Society. You are truly wonderful people...and I will never stop sharing this story of your incredible generosity and kindness. Cristy, Tampa, FL

    7/14/2020 I placed an order with Chewy, veterinary diet that required authorization which I submitted and Chewy contacted my vet's office. It never shipped. Chewy said they never got authorization. Not true. Finally on the 20th they said I would have my order in about 2 days. On the 21st it still hasn’t shipped so I call CS again. They tell me there’s a problem with the payment. No, they already charged my payment method on the 14th and than tried charging it 13 more times on the 21st which inevitably was declined after so many tries which resulted in my order being cancelled. That day I spoke at least 9 Chewy agents with no resolution. This is food my dog needs to help manage her diabetes so I will no longer order anything ever again from them. I emailed corporate and am still waiting to hear back. Seriously doubtful that will happen. No more, I’m done.

    I wrote a review on Dental Cat treats. Prices were $4.93 for a 13.5 tub. They stop selling the Tub, so 1.8 oz was $1.72 for 1.8 oz now the same size bag is $3.91. I put the review on Chewy, but they did not publish it. My cat better start liking other cat treats, because he will never get them at that price again..     I have had an auto shipment with Chewy.com for my dog Waco for a little over a year now. We received his auto shipment the week previous to when we had to put our sweet dog down. I called Chewy.com to see if they would take a return and instead they gave us a refund and asked us to donate the food to an animal shelter or organization of our choice in Waco‘s name (Which we did). The girl on the phone was very compassionate and very sweet and I was truly impressed. Not only did I get my refund but the next day I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers with a handwritten sympathy note inside! I took pictures of the bouquet of flowers and put it out on Facebook and several friends made comments of how impressed they were and that they would be ordering from Chewy.com!     I have been getting food for my cat from Chewy.com for over a year now, sadly my cat Boinky has passed away with kidney failure...I received his new order a couple of days prior...But this company is one of the best when I first started using it. My cat was really finicky, and he would not eat the food I bought him here. I called them up to see if I could mail it back. And they said "Why don't we give you a refund and you can give the food to a animal shelter or something."     Chewy is a great pet food company with great pet food and prices, and they deliver to your door. We love Chewy and have purchased prescription cat food for our cat for years. When Leo died recently I sent an email to Chewy to cancel the automatic order. Trish’s (Service Dept) response was very kind and compassionate, and she definitely went above and beyond ordinary customer service. But that was not all, the following day I received a delivery of beautiful flowers from Chewy, which was a total surprise and this has never happened to me before! Chewy deserves even more than 5 stars! And we definitely will be ordering from them again when we get another pet.     I have been ordering from Chewy.com for about 2 years. Their service has always been super fast and accurate. Once I received a shipment and the bag of food was busted open, they replaced it the very next day! During the pandemic, service got very slow so I stopped my auto ship and opted to purchase in person to get my food quicker (yes, I wait until the last minute and kitties are hungry!). But I tried again last week (end of July 2020) and service was back at it's super fast pace. I ordered a ton of food Saturday at 9:30 pm and it was delivered by 8:00 am on Sunday the next day! Free shipping too! You cannot beat Chewy, they deliver!

    I've been a loyal shopper with Chewy for several years (since before PetSmart bought them). Today I went to order shampoo for our 2 Border Collies. I was STUNNED to see that a 64oz bottle of dog shampoo would be $45.36. I did a quick web query and was equally shocked to find it from the manufacturer and 3 other resellers for $16.00 a bottle less. Of course I pinged their online help and asked if they price matched. "NOPE.. we don't do that they replied... anything else I can help you with??"

    Buyer beware. This is simply theft. I get capitalism, but the uninformed buyer should not become the victim... What's worse, when I went to put a comment on their website regarding my issue with their pricing policy and this particular product, Their system "experienced an error" and could not allow my review to post... However after I changed my rating from 1 stars to 10, all of a sudden their system was working again... DONE WITH THEM.

    I order from this company often and have to say they are wonderful. I recently had a shipment that never arrived, despite Fedex claim of delivery. I reached out to Chewy customer service and within minutes they worked to resolve the issue and set up a replacement order, free of charge, without my asking for replacement. Incredibly understanding and pleasant representatives. One other time I had an issue with a damaged delivery (again, FedEx fault), and they replaced the item quickly and even sent a little extra treat for our pet.     After years of getting dog food from Chewy, our dog needs a prescription med so we ordered it from chewy. They require written confirmation of the script from the vet and the vet emailed it to chewy with a copy to me. My cc of the email shows it was sent and to the correct address. Because our dog needs the med right away, when I got the emailed copy of the script, I contacted chewy to confirm their receipt. Customer service told me they couldn’t confirm and that someone from pharmacy had to and I’d get a callback.

    Three days later after no word, I call again and now they tell me they don’t have the email/script and their ONLY solution is to rerequest it from the vet who won’t respond instantly and who knows how much longer this whole process will take? I’m ending my relationship with chewy. The supervisor said I’d get a cancellation confirmation email shortly. Not only have I not gotten confirmation of the cancellation, I checked the website and my order still shows as pending. Chewy used to be good. Their success has overwhelmed their ability to handle it.

    Stella and Chewy’s freeze dried raw cat food has been the best discovery for my cat who has multiple allergies. It is freeze dried, raw food that contains no grain, fillers or added hormones or antibiotics. It is gluten free. It includes probiotics to aid in digestion as well as taurine which is an essential amino acid. It also contains vitamins. It is very easy to prepare. You just rehydrate with cool or warm water, mix and serve. It is well tolerated and comes in multiple flavors. My cat’s favorite is salmon and chicken. And it comes in an easy open, resealable bag.

    My husband and I are both unemployed now. We have a cat and a dog on prescription medications and food. We have autoship and save very little, but we asked for 10% more off and Chewy would NOT honor that. We spend over $250 every other month at Chewy to keep our pets healthy. We've been loyal customers for at least 5 years! They hardly offer any coupons anymore and customer service agents brush you off, even when you're crying. Sad and depressing.

    I adopted my pitbull Kaine, a few months ago. I broke my leg in an accident and also totaled my car, so I was stuck at home and that's when I started using Chewy.com. Back then the orders took a bit longer because of the severity of the pandemic but now I get my order in 2 days, even if I order in the middle of the night. Like seriously?? They are the Amazon of the animal world! I can walk and drive now but I use auto ship on my pet foods and save a few more dollars, it's convenient and cheap. Love you guys!

    For years I have been getting one of my furry kids (a small cat) her medicine from Chewy. It is not as expensive in Chewy as it was from the vet. But the vet said to use Chewy. I was extremely glad to use them.... until now. Recently I got an email saying that there is a possibility they will go out of stock for medicine. That did not bother me much. I responded saying that it was okay, I understand because of the virus how bad things are. And I told them when they notified me that they were out of stock, I would get it from the vet.

    BUT!! They sent me an email saying they would not notify me (or anyone) if they were out of stock, but only when they were back in stock. People who get the medicine from them could lose their pet if they are not notified it was not in stock allowing people to find somewhere else to get the medicine from in time to give it to the pet when they need it. To me this is cruel.

    I have been a customer of Chewy.com for many years now. They started off excellent and kept strong for a while. For the past year and especially recently they have declined from 4 stars to zero (0). The reason being is that most of the essential inventory items a pet owner needs to keep their pets healthy, such as food, vitamins, health and wellness products, prescriptions, etc. are always always out of stock. They do not have a clue on inventory management or inventory control. They let food products and vitamin products go down to a zero quantity level before, if at all, they replenish or restock their inventory. Then it takes months before they come back into inventory. This leaves the customer waiting and waiting and waiting and calling for weeks on end for essential items that are necessary to keep their beloved pets healthy.

    Chewy has no understanding or conception of keeping a safety stock level of products on hand. When it starts getting down to that level, that is when they should start the process of reordering their inventory, not after a long while of it being zero quantity. They have no clue or concept of supplies or inventory. It is often said that when a company starts getting big, that their quality, integrity, responsibility, and reliability to the consumer go out the window, they just do not care anymore, and that is the story of chewy.com. As the owner of three dogs, my dogs would be dead if I left it to the devices of chewy also with chewy's lack of supply and inventory management or inventory control. Chewy.com is horrific, abysmal, appalling and dreadful. I would gladly pay four times as much for each item from a company that values a customer's business and the needs of their pets.

    I have been ordering from Chewy.com for nearly a year for our dog Foster and have always been pleased. This past Saturday on July 4, it was apparent he was not well. He was old and had been diagnosed with Liver cancer as well as suffering from arthritis. We knew this day was close but still were absolutely heartbroken to realize the only loving and compassionate thing was to let him go so we did. He was tired and I truly believe he was gone before the final injection. We miss him more than I can even begin to put into words.

    I had received an order of prescription dog food from Chewy.com the day before and had not opened the packaging yet. My order had been a bit over $80.00 so I was hoping I could return it. Chewy.com said not to worry about returning the food and refunded not only that order but also the previous order from June!! I was stunned when I saw my banking the next day. I told Natalia at Chewy that I would donate the food to a shelter and found a rescue group that is also an old dog sanctuary that I will be donating the food to as well as various items of our sweet Foster. I was so impressed and had posted this experience to Facebook and had several friends mention that they were going to start ordering from Chewy after hearing about my experience.

    That went beyond my expectations. Well today a beautiful bouquet of sunflowers and a sweet sympathy card arrived and my husband and I were absolutely stunned at the thoughtfulness and compassion of Natalia and Chewy.com. I have had dogs and cats my whole life and have loved each of them but there was something a bit more special about Foster. Maybe because I am older and was able to spend more time with him but we adored that dog and this has been a tough week for us. I again went on Facebook and sang my praises for this wonderful company that went beyond what I ever could have expected. I cannot imagine buying my pets food and supplies anywhere else. I am forever touched and grateful. As long as I have pets (we also have 3 rescue kitties) I will be a customer. Chewy.com is the best!!!

    I have used Chewy for nearly two years using their Autoship option for food and medications. Last month my shipment arrived damaged and I informed Chewy and they were very apologetic and timely with responding to my inquiry, and appreciated the information I provided them. This month the same issue occurred and I reached out to them just to simply let them know it happened again. Even though this was not their fault and was more or less entirely the fault of FedEx, Chewy went above and beyond, not only responding quickly but already had my entire order replaced and shipped on it's way to me in less than a couple of hours, and again apologized for the recurring issue. Chewy customer service is setting the bar for other businesses to strive for, and even though I've been experiencing these issues, I will forever be a Chewy customer.

    I'm a bit shocked at some of the reviews I see here, but most of them pertain to prescriptions so maybe it's an issue with that specific department. I've had nothing but great experiences with this company, but my experiences were solely with ordering and receiving pet supplies (wet and dry cat food, cat litter, litter supplies). I've been using Chewy since last year, and I was very happy with their shipping services and auto-ship. I usually received my orders on the day promised, every once in a while a day later. Not a huge deal - I plan around that and always make sure I keep a couple extra cans of food on hand for delays.

    Once the pandemic hit, Chewy was (understandably) overwhelmed by the influx of people looking to order as many supplies as they could online. This caused my normal auto-ship to be severely delayed. After about 2 weeks of no movement on my auto-ship, I decided it would better to just stock up on food at the grocery store. I emailed Chewy to ask that they cancel my pending auto-ship since I was unable to do so through the website.

    It just so happens that the day a representative responded was the same day my order finally shipped. Since the rep couldn't stop it, they said they would refund me anyway and I was either welcome to keep it, or donate it to a local animal shelter if it wasn't needed. I was pleasantly surprised, and it was a wonderful gesture.

    I stopped any future auto-ships once it was clear that the pandemic wasn't going to be resolved anytime soon, and it was just easier to stock up every other week when I went to get human groceries. However, now that things are semi-normalizing, I decided to try auto-ship again. I placed an order at 11:27am yesterday. It was at my front door my 11:02am this morning. 24-hour turn around time - amazing! Great company, great people. Give them a try - you won't be sorry!

    Chewy always stands behind their products and customers. If something doesn't work right or your dog chews something up, they always refund the purchase with no questions asked. I had to put my Lady girl down as she had gotten very sick and we had just gotten 2 hugs packages of diapers for her. I called the next day and asked what can I do about the diapers. The first thing they said was how sorry they were for my loss and told me to donate them to an animal shelter which I did the same day. Not only did they refund me for the product in full but they sent me the most beautiful dozen roses, and gift card for Hello Fresh and and beautiful sentiment signed by the one who took my call. I do have another dog (who is still looking for Lady girl) so I did tell chewy they did not lose my business. I am so amazed on how this company is so generous and so compassionate to their customers. They are AWESOME!!!!

    Chewy.com is totally unreliable and the customer service is sub-par. My bank card was overcharged to the tune of $150 total in one week. The supervisor, Gabby, was totally disrespectful and NOT helpful. I will never do business with Chewy again. I suggest you think twice before you sign up for an auto-ship with them.     I am not going to repeat all the great reviews about this company's return policy. Not happy they'll refund your money. Even if you are happy but cannot keep what you ordered, they'll refund your money. That's the bottom line. This is about Crystal...who are you?? This company, the employees, I was sent a beautiful boutique of flowers. Shared a story about my dog getting hit by a car (yes, he was leashed) that I am caring for and poof, the flowers arrive! You just cannot be in a bad mood, sad, overwrought, whatever and get flowers. Automatically cheered up! Spectacular gesture. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Crystal and Chewy's.     I recently had to put my older dog Lucy down. I had just received a new bag of Sr. Dog Food and contacted Chewy to see if I could return the unopened bag. They said they would credit me when I disclosed the loss of Lucy and that I should donate the food in her name. They asked if I needed to return anything else and I said no thank you. 2 days later I received flowers for the loss of Lucy. The customer service they showed is above and beyond my expectations.     I have a prescription for my dog. It is to help with his aging-related heartburn and sour stomach. We are set to go on a missionary trip for 10 months. We ordered the medicine for him from Chewy 1 MONTH early and they kept saying they faxed in the RX verification to my vet but my vet never got it. My vet printed out the history for the entire 10 days after my initial order and NOT ONCE did Chewy RX team fax them. Also they said they CALLED my vet but again, the vet printed out the call logs and NOT ONCE did Chewy try calling them.

    I am not sure WHY the Chewy Customer Service agents kept lying but we had DOUBLE PROOF they didn't do ANYTHING. Now we have to cancel and RUSH an order from somewhere else because Chewy STILL hasn't done anything and we leave in 1 week. Pathetic. Will NEVER order a RX for my pets again. Other things we ordered that were repacked treats and toys arrived QUICK. Chewy has an UNethical business model. BUYER BEWARE!

    I have been using Chewy for nearly 5 years, with few problems. If product does not meet kitty standards, they kindly refund the cost. However, when you call or chat about other issues, someone answers with rote replies, using childish "meows" or "barks". Grow up. In addition, I have tried numerous times to leave reviews lately, and their system gives me an "oops" error message (maybe because my review is not a 5-star one?). Also, when they pack shipments, they don't understand that a 50-lb box is not manageable because FedEx doesn't drop it off at the door but leaves on the stairs. I have a bad back, and need to drag this box all the way inside my house. So I had to create a workaround and split shipments into 2 separate ones (that I was told cannot ship in the same week) which makes things very confusing. I've been happy until this year; seriously thinking of finding another vendor.

    I have used Chewy.com Autoship for many years with great results for my three dogs. A month ago I received notice of a shipment, but delivery was slowed due to Covid. Between the period between notice and delivery, I had to euthanize our 14 y/o black lab, Midnight, and when the shipment arrived I called to ask how to return it. Shelby is Customer Service was so caring and compassionate! Not only did she process a refund and instruct me to donate the shipment to the local Humane Society in Midnight's name, but she also sent me a bouquet of roses with condolences. Needless to say I was speechless!!! So I want to let everyone know of Shelby's kindness, and Chewy's great employees.

    I ordered insulin for my cat. 2 holds for $100 each were placed on my bank account for one purchase. I called and was told this was because it was shipped from a warehouse, and one charge would go through when delivered, and the other would drop off my account at the same time. The hold has not been dropped off my account and it has almost been a week since delivery.

    My email to Chewy was responded to by a generic response by someone who did not read my email. My bank said I have 2 more days until the hold expires and I can have my money available again (it's been 2 weeks since my initial order). Per my bank they receive a lot of phone calls about Chewy doing this. So... if you have a lot of money to spare and don't mind double the purchase amount being held on your card then Chewy should be fine for you. I personally think this is a shady business practice, and customer service has been unhelpful. Shame on Chewy for tying up people's money unnecessarily, especially during a pandemic. Never again!

    After one month of using Chewy, here is why I'm opting to buy the same medication for $40 more from 1-800-Petmeds. My dog needs critical medication. I placed an order for rush delivery (May 1st). I get an email saying it will ship once they verify the prescription. Neat. A week goes by with 0 communication. I call the vet to see what the hold up is; they hadn't heard anything from Chewy. I called Chewy, and they said they couldn't contact the vet, and asked me for their info. A full week of silence for that. It took 10 days to get a critical medication (May 11th). I decide that if this is how it's going to be, I need to stock up. I place another order two weeks in advance next time (June 5th).

    After a week (June 11th), it's lost in transit via USPS. While I normally wouldn't blame a shipper, the CS Rep told me verbatim, "huh,that's weird, we usually ship FedEx, I don't know why this went USPS". So, they put in a replacement order (June 12th) and put rush shipping on via FedEx. Neat....except...the medicine never shows. Instead, on June 15th, that replacement order is cancelled, and a new order is placed. No one I talked to could tell me why.

    When I described my experience to the supervisor, he gave no concern whatsoever. I asked him to cancel every bit of business I had there (pending orders, autoship, etc) he goes, "ok, anything else you want?" Nah dude, I'm good....except, as I sit here, I still see pending orders, and that my autoship is still subscribed. Chewy has been such a bad experience that I'm going to pay $40 more just to have some competence elsewhere. If you don't mind waiting weeks for nothing to happen, then Chewy is the place to be.

    We have been ordering from Chewy for the past 5 years. Today I realized that I had accidentally added 2 cases of pumpkin for my dogs food. When I realized it, it had already shipped. I emailed chewy and within an hour they had responded. They are reimbursing me the amount of the two cases of pumpkin ($76) and told me to donate it to the shelter instead of sending it back. It was a huge mistake on part and I wasn’t expecting how quickly it was fixed and the generosity of chewy. We love chewy and will always use them for our dogs, cat, ferrets, rabbit and snake needs.

    My wife and I shop on this site frequently for food and supplies, but they really blew me away (nicely) when I ordered the wrong sized dog collar, reordered then tried to return the original. They gave me the credit but let me keep the collar to donate to an animal shelter. People should not take advantage of this as a scam, but it just shows what a good company this is.

    I've been a customer of Chewy for years with no bad experiences. But recently I placed an order that never arrived. I have no mail box, so I use a PO box. For Chewy orders I put my physical address on one line and my PO box on another. Turns out Chewy now insists that it will not ship to a PO box. Seems okay, since they have my physical address, too, but no! I can't receive my Chewy order at all.

    Chewy's warehouses are now all shipping with carriers like FedEx, so for items coming from a Chewy warehouse, a physical address works. BUT if your order is shipping from a manufacturer, and the manufacturer uses USPS, then you will not receive your package if you have a PO box because Chewy has taken it upon themselves to remove any PO Box information you put on your delivery address. Your physical address remains, but no PO Box info. When a manufacturer sends your order by USPS, which many do, the package cannot be delivered because the PO box information has been removed by Chewy.

    I went around and around with my last order from Chewy, including having my order shipped again. I never received it, and more than one supervisor at Chewy has informed me that I cannot ever receive it. I can't help the fact that I don't have a mailbox, but now Chewy packages that come from a manufacturer and not the warehouse cannot be delivered.

    This seems like a very easy thing to fix. Chewy should just leave your address the way you put it in and not delete anything. But there is no way to get the message to Chewy. Customer Service has nothing to do with shipping policies, and there is no way to reach anyone else. Looks like Amazon will be getting my orders from now on. So long, Chewy.

    A while back my small dog had to go on heart medication. We got it from Chewy.com for a good price and to be honest we usually bought more than the medicine. Well a few days ago my dog died and we still had half full bottles of his medicines so my mother contacted their customer service, not only were they apologetic about our loss they gave her her money back on the medicine and a few days later they sent us flowers for our loss.     From DM in south western WI: Shout out to Chewy.com for its Customer Service. Just had a quick refund experience over the phone. They are sending me everything in my online cart without shipping costs, because it includes a replacement for my return item, even though I don't meet the minimum purchase amount requirement for free shipping. AND they don't want my return item back, they encouraged me to donate it to another pet owner or shelter. They even have a valid return reason as "pet destroyed the item." Their CS policies and training are fantastic.

    Previously, I've used Chewy.com because its pricing is competitive for dog food, they have a large selection, it's easy to purchase prescription meds and they're MUCH cheaper than through the vet, and the convenience of having items shipped to my home. As much as I like the company, I never took the time to review it before but it is totally deserved to do it today. This was my first time returning anything to Chewy. The experience exceeded my expectations in every way. I didn't even have to wait on HOLD.

    I had an autoship account with Chewy for a box of cat food to be sent once a month. I realized after a year or so that I had an excess, so I asked them to skip a month. Instead they sent an extra box. Every time I contacted them to try to get them to stop temporarily, they sent an extra box instead. I tried numerous times to cancel the autoship option altogether. Every communication resulted in another extra box. Last month when I complained AGAIN that they had sent another unwanted & unordered box, they sent a UPS label so I could return it, which I did. This month they sent another box. No matter what I say in my emails to them, THEY WILL NOT STOP. Something is seriously wrong with this company.

    This goes above and beyond fantastic customer service. I ordered canned cat food for my cat that has allergies. The food was $42.00 which is more than I have ever spent on cat food but I need to get his allergies under control. I fed him one can and he would have nothing to do with it! Guess he does not like health food lol! Anyway... I emailed Chewy in hopes of returning it and trying something else for my cat. Jessica B. answered my email within the hour and said that they would credit my card for the food BUT... she did not even ask for me to have to hassle with the post office to send it back, she told me to go ahead and donate it to a shelter/rescue!!! This is the most awesome thing to me!!! I live right by an animal shelter so that is where I will take this healthy food. Thanks Chewy!

    I have had an auto-ship order for dog food for a couple of months. Two months ago, my order arrived well short of what was supposed to be included, with no warning or note of explanation. This last month my order didn't arrive on time. After several days, I called Chewy's customer service, and after a 25 minute wait, listening to obnoxious "music" and a voice telling me every 60 seconds how important my call was, I was told that my order was being shipped the next day. Two days later I attempted to trace the shipment - it had not been shipped.

    I called again, and after a similar wait, I was again told that it would ship the next day as missing items had just arrived. It did not ship the next day, nor any day after that. A week later, unwilling to waste more of my time, I sent Chewy a direct message on Twitter, which was answered with the information that my order was being held because it was incomplete. This was three weeks after the expected arrival date. I canceled the order. I can understand any company having problems with filling orders during this pandemic, but to lie to me twice about it, failing to inform me of difficulties they were having, is simply unacceptable. I won't be using them again for anything.

    We have been ordering from Chewy for our 4 Chessies and our baby an English bulldog. Shipments have slowed recently but not by much. Our beloved Recon recently passed away and my wife called to have him taken from the list and ask he not receive another birthday card to open the wounds of loss. They were very sad to hear it and about a week later we received a floral arrangement of roses and a hand written condolence card.     Waiting for Federal Express to pick up 2 boxes of food (50 pounds and 17 pounds) that were left on and in the street instead of being delivered up my driveway to the front door. Chewy advertises front door delivery and the labels are marked front door. A previous delivery was stolen because of being left in the street. Each time I call, the representative says I will hear back from a supervisor after they speak the Federal Express. I’ve never received a call. Now they can pay to have it shipped back and restocked. When it gets costly, maybe they’ll revise their policy and actually contact Federal Express. I will no longer purchase from them. A $1000+ a year customer is apparently not worth it to them.

    Chewy.com has generally lower prices compared to Petsmart and Petco and they have great customer service. I recently had an issue with my pet food and they provided me with a full refund and it took about 3 minutes. I have tried calling Petco and Petsmart and I have to wait on hold and their agents are not always the most knowledgeable. I would highly recommend using Chewy.com for your pet needs!

    I have always used Chewy for my pet food and supplies. Great company and great customer service. Decided to try the pharmacy, although I have great luck with 1-800-petmeds.com, due to the 20% coupon. I mailed my script to the address listed. I got an email saying it was approved and ready to go, please place your order (which was already placed). Few days later, I got an email saying they never got the script. I waited for them to get their act together and called them a bit later. No they don't have the script. (Now my dog is out of her medication). They say "we'll wait till it (the script) shows up. You live in N, and that is far from Kentucky, during this Covid situation". I say I have ordered and received other meds from PETMEDs and they are in Florida which is further than Kentucky.

    "Can I fax you a copy of my original order to prove I have the prescription?" "No, it's against the law." "Well I didn't lose it and how am I going to find it? And who is this pharmacy tech that sent me my email that you got it?" We don't know, but wait and we will send the med when the script finally shows up." "But my dog needs it now, she is limping and I mailed it 5/11." So I cancelled the order, and got another script from my vet and will send to 1-800-PETMEDs who are completely with the program. Great customer service and never had a problem. Chewy is usually great, wait, give it time. The pharmacy might get better, just not now. Incidentally, I used them because of the 20% coupon, but it only allowed up to $30, so it wasn't even 30% off.

    I had an account with a regular delivery of food; I ran out of my dogs flea and tick med and went to Chewy's site to find a product to buy. I called to find out if I could get this product with my next automatic ship of dog food but was clear I did not want this product to come again and again with my autoships, and she told me, "Yes, no problem." We spent 10-15 minutes on the phone getting all order together, then at the end she tells me that I would have to call before my next autoship to cancel off the flea and tick med. It was like, "What? Huh? We talked about this." I ended up canceling that flea and tick order and told her I would just order that one item online from them and be done with it. So I went online and ordered it; I get an email from them that they need my vet's info because the item needed to get a prescription for it, no problem.

    A couple of days later I get a call form my vet's office telling me they can't fill this prescription because I had already gotten that type of product from them, which I had not; the flea and tick product I ordered that company that make it, also makes a heartworm med by the same name, and the idiots at Chewy when they called my vet's office, they did not specify flea and tick, so I ended up canceling all my business with chewy due to someone's incompetence. Never will I do business with chewy again.

    I’ve always had the best experiences from Chewy. My order has always been correct except for one time I was missing a 12 pack of cans. I emailed them and they immediately replied back and sent me a replacement which I saw in 2 days! Also for Christmas you get a Christmas card and I really appreciated that! I love Chewy.com

    I always loved Chewy. I never had a problem till about a year ago. This week was the last straw. My total was 60.22. They took it out of my account. They then proceeded to charge my account 29.95, 17.54 and 12.73. They told me when it was all shipped they would credit my account 60.22. Well my order shipped and they kept all the money. I am on a fixed income. I need that money. I am filing a federal report.

    I placed my 1st order over a week ago and it still hasn’t shipped. I ordered from them to support an online business during the pandemic & stay out of the stores. I received an email yesterday saying my “next” autoship was being sent in 20 days - when I haven’t even received my 1st order. I told them to postpone the autoship and worry about getting my first order out. They replied “you don’t want to do that, you want to get it on time”. ??? I told them If they didn’t ship it soon, I was cancelling. They said “I understand”. They still haven’t shipped it. I’m going to give them until 5pm today and then I’m cancelling.

    I ordered Advantage for cats. A day later they sent me an email telling me it may be a week late. Two days later, telling "we're working on your order". I finally received it in less than a week. And it came by FedEx truck. I loved how they kept me in touch. Save any coupons you get since they honored my expired coupon. Product was not crushed, etc.

    My Turkish Angora has been sick. Found out the lavender litter was the problem. Now she still has been not eating very much so I ordered 5 boxes of the fancy feast broth. Well it they claimed it was damaged. They would replace the order. Well still waiting. Now three weeks still nothing. Who would shipped a gallon of a chemical with food. CHEWY. Guess it opened up on my 5 boxes of broth. They sent it back mid-shipment. They gave me my money back but I wanted the order not the money. Can’t go out. I am 73. Chewy could care less. They sent me vitamin:minerals for my cat and it was oil and shaking. It didn’t help out the money unless I ship it back.

    Been with chewy 3 years and this is how they treat their loyal customers. Sad. Will be checking into other pet deliveries as it seems they don’t value us and they should be glad we are supporting them now. The TV AD says no problem you can donate it. Don’t believe it. Sent back 25 pound bag of bird food with bugs etc etc. I have a shipment coming today. Wonder what it will look like when I get it.

    I ordered dog food in bulk. It’s been 9 days since the order. That is ridiculous. The UPS tracking date they gave me came and went with no delivery. Why would anyone wait almost 2 weeks for a delivery just to save 25 cents per package? I’ll never do it again.

    I have been ordering from Chewy.com for a few years now. Everything I order comes super fast, usually in 2 days time. Their customer service is excellent as well. My cat passed and I had an order in transit. When I emailed them to ask for a return label so I could send the merchandise back, they sent me a very nice email telling me to keep the items and donate them to a local shelter. They would give me a refund regardless if I sent the items back. I just thought that was very nice and one less headache to deal with.

    We place orders about 2 or 3 times a month on Chewy, and we have several autoships set up to save even more money. Their selection & prices are always great, and the few times I've had a problem, their wonderful customer agents took care of it immediately. We have 3 cats, and I order litter, food, toys, condos & trees, supplements (probiotics, lysine) and even one prescription dry food from Chewy. They even make the vet-prescription ordering easy! Since we moved to a small town in eastern Washington from L.A., I don't know what we'd do without Chewy. And their agents are always the best! Friendly, helpful, professional, personable--I'd chat with their agents just for fun because they're always so nice, except that I wouldn't do that!

    I have been trying for weeks to get my flea and tick medication. They keep telling me they don't have the prescription from my Vet but I have emails confirming they do and they refuse to fulfill the medication. I will never purchase from their products again. Ridiculous!!!

    I placed an auto ship order in March and the dog food was 21.50$ a bag plus the 5% off for auto ship. The last two auto ships they have charged me 42.99 per bag without my agreement. Now they won’t refund.
