    After reading back and forth reviews.. I took the dive and ordered 3 bags of bird seed. Could not be more happy!!!! Came the very next day. Seed was on sale as well. Would definitely recommend this company. I would add my receipt for a verified review however I did not keep it.

    I've been going through Chewy for a couple years now for my dog's medicine. My Foxy girl recently passed away and I had to cancel her future orders. Today in the mail I received a beautiful hand-painted rock with her name on it and a heartfelt handwritten card. ♥️ Thank you!! What an amazing company! Truly are awesome!

    Updated on 07/16/2024: While I had reached out to Chewy's customer support prior to leaving reviews, I was told inaccurate information. A person higher up at Chewy contacted me and told me that the autoship guarantees that they will set aside my order even if it says out of stock. It was a misunderstanding due to miscommunication.

    Original Review: I have used Chewy for years and have never really had an issue. I would have also recommended them to others in the past. If your pet is healthy and can eat alternatives to out of stock options, you can probably use Chewy without issue. That is not my situation anymore. My cat has IBS/Lymphoma and requires a prescription food that I have set on autoship from Chewy. On a whim, I decided to check on the food today despite the email from a few days ago asking me to review my upcoming autoship order. Nothing seemed awry in the email. I was shocked to see that the prescription food is out of stock. My cat gets really sick vomiting 6-7 times a day when not on this food. Chewy gave me no notice. The only reason I found out about it being out of stock is I manually checked on the food.

    So now I am less than 2 days ahead of the autoship scrambling to find food so my pet isn't sick. Chewy may be convenient but it is now unreliable. I cannot recommend them to people who need prescriptions of any sort. I also feel like their lack of communication is awful particularly when the well being of animals is involved. They clearly do not care enough about pets needing prescription diets to be in better communication about getting low in stock.

    Chewy Customer Service used to be great. If your pet had tummy issues with food they would immediately credit your credit card. Now they won’t do that. I am being sent a box to return an open and used bag of dry dog food via FedEx to return the unused food by the same shipper. Does that make any sense to you? What a waste of money. Customer Service is terrible. They don’t listen to your concerns or questions. No more Chewy for me.

    This company is so incompetent it's not even funny. I ordered my dog's eye medication July 5th. I got a call that afternoon needing to verify billing address. So I did. Now today is July 6th, and I am currently on hold with them as they have called me 4 times today to verify it again. In the meantime, my dog is not getting his much needed medication. They can not get anything right. I do not recommend Chewy.com at all. They don't care about the being of our furbabies.

    Chewy is an excellent company. They have a nice selection of products, have speedy delivery service and excellent customer service. I bought food, snacks, doggy beds, toys, crate, clothes, and prescriptions from Chewy for the last 4 years. I rate them higher than any other pet company I have ever bought from. They make getting my dog’s prescriptions so easy. They ship so fast that it saves me so much time not going to the pet store. If there is ever anything wrong with an order they fix it right away and refund me (Mistakes are rare and usually mine). They have chat and phone assistance available all the time unlike so many companies. Excellent company overall.

    We recently lost our 17 yr old little dog Queenie. We called Chewy about the unopened auto ship order we had recently received. They informed us that we would receive a full credit of $142 and recommended that we donate the food to our vet. We thought WOW! BUT WAIT! We had a beach trip already planned and the next day we left for 4 days. SURPRISE. When we returned we found a beautiful vase of flowers and a sympathy card for Queenie waiting on the counter. Thankfully our neighbor was able to be there when they arrived. It was so incredibly nice and meant SOOOOO much to my wife and I. CHEWY IS THE BEST!!!!

    Chewy is a great company and I have enjoyed doing business with them since 2020 when the covid pandemic started but the use FedEx for shipping and my shipments have been lost, stolen, and left places they should not have been. After dealing with the incompetence of FedEx for the years I have been with Chewy I have had enough and am suspending my auto shipments and will no longer be ordering from Chewy. What a waste! A good customer service oriented company losing business because of a terrible company like FedEx. Chewy, please wake up and use UPS or a better business for shipping, not an incompetent company like Fedex.

    I am really impressed with the service that I have been getting from Chewy.com. I have used them for over 2 1/2 years as my cat had prescription canned and dry food. I notified them that my cat passed away and they not only gave me credit for the food that I had ordered, but instead of returning it encouraged me to donate it to a cat shelter. They also sent me flowers as condolences for my cat's passing. Please use Chewy as they were fantastic company!

    Not overly impressed. First time ordering from this site. Was told 1/2 day delivery. Did call customer service. They were really pleasant but the delivery company they use marked it as tried to deliver at 5 am in the morning. Lol. Don’t Happen. Called again. Customer service did refund my money but as I’m checking again they haven’t even moved the product. Lol. I did get my money back but will never ever ever order from them again as my do did need what I order. Horrible service.

    Hello. I had a terrible experience with Chewy.com recently. After my priority mail took five days to get there (which was not their fault obviously) I reached out to them on the Friday that they got the script, explaining that I really needed the medicine as quickly as possible (because my dog leaks urine if she misses it) and that if they could process it and overnight if that would be great. The first person I spoke to apologized and said that would be no problem, said she made some notes on the account and that I would get an email when it was shipped.

    I didn’t get any email that day so I reached out Saturday morning to find out what happened. They told me that it was still in process. I explained again what was going on and also mentioned that there should be notes on my account. This time, the same thing… she Said that they reached out to the pharmacy and that it was being processed and that they would overnight it for Sunday. Sunday came and went and I still don’t have the medication. It is now Monday morning and when I go onto the app, it still says “preparing to ship.” What a disaster.

    I love Chewy. My AutoShip for Haley‘s prescription didn’t come last week. I was so caught up in work that I didn’t realize it was late until I ran out of her meds today. I called Chewy and not only did she take the shipping charge off she gave me another discount plus she reminded me I had a $30 gift card which she also applied. Anyway, it all brought Haley‘s $50 prescription down to $16. That’s why I keep ordering my pets’ food, medicine and other needs from Chewy. They are awesome!

    I can't for the life of me figure out where the bad reviews are coming from. I have been a customer with Chewy for years and their product selection and customer service are better than any online store I have ever ordered from.     Chewy is the most horrible service. Every time I order, my package is “lost”. It says it's delivered, and it's nowhere to be found… Keep in mind, I live in an apartment where packages are delivered INSIDE, so I know they are not stolen after delivery. Chewy has never compensated me. I get another delivery and that’s delayed too! Not even a treat for my baby. All I get is “I understand”.

    I order necessities for my dogs, heart meds and prescription food, things I can't just get anywhere. I think it's highly disappointing and devastating that my dogs’ lives could depend on it and Chewy doesn't care. I had to spend an extra $40 once because chewy lost my dogs' heart meds, and new ones weren't delivered until 3-4 days later.. meds he needs 2x a day, everyday, by the way. My dogs' prescription food just disappeared this Wednesday and I still don't have a replacement, because that got delayed too, and I don't even know if it will come tomorrow as stated, because it originally stated delivery would be by today. Once I get my dogs' food this is probably my last order. Worst customer service ever.

    I have been ordering my cat's prescription food from Chewy for a few years now. Unfortunately this week I had to euthanize my best friend. I called Chewy to cancel my Autoship order. I can not express how amazing the customer service agent was. I wish I knew her name so I can recognize her personally. Not only did she credit my account for the unused food that I donated to a shelter but when I got home last night I had a beautiful flower arrangement waiting for me. This goes way beyond incredible customer service. Thank you Chewy.

    Beware of Chewy, we have ordered several treat items and now tick and flee K9 Advantix...these items were delivered with expired expiration dates on them. Some over a year expired. Again this has happened on several orders. The tick k9 is the most recent... Chewy can not get a handle on this issue as they put the blame on warehouse associates. Sorry Chewy that's not good enough. We are done with ordering items from Chewy, so please customers beware of your expiration dates... Never again will I put my pups in a situation where they could get very sick from Chewy products. Not to mention the K9 Advantix...for ticks.

    Chewy canceled my order just because they didn't like that I used the promotion code they sent me on email! I spent two days emailing them and finally bought the dog's food in another shop. I will never return to them, and will talk about these greedy people to all my friends. Choose another seller, these guys are just awful, don't trust them, your pets will never receive what they need. Customer service also didn't help. Just AWFUL.

    My cat was having urinary issues and I ordered prescription food through Chewy to help with blockages. Unfortunately, the issues were too extensive, and he passed before the food could arrive. I chatted with a representative who handled the food return quickly and compassionately. Despite the circumstances, it was a pleasant experience. Today my wife came home and announced I had flowers delivered. Figuring it was a mistake, so I opened the card. Chewy sent flowers and a handwritten note of condolences for my loss. Above and beyond what I would expect from a company anymore, and the reason I will always recommend Chewy for you pet needs.

    Today I had the most wonderful experience with customer service. Nancy helped me when I didn’t receive an item in my delivery. She was very sweet, apologetic, and fixed my order.     I called Chewy today and spoke to the best representative named Sharnetta. I had to order a cancer pill for my beautiful 12 yr old lab. This is a very difficult time. She was so informative, and helped me get the best price! Also, because this is a cancer pill, she really helped me as they are very expensive at other places. She was very sympathetic and being in the customer service field as well. I wanted to give her kudos to an amazing rep!

    TERRIBLE SERVICE. I just deleted my account with Chewy because of its unreasonable staff. I mailed in a 12-month prescription and was only given a 6-month supply because I opted in for the 6-month auto-ship. I have contacted them several times and they have said I only had a 6-month supply on file, but I checked with the vet and it showed a 12-month supply on the original.

    I do not understand how a multi-billion corp. is able to easily lose track of prescriptions and give customers false info. I even attached a screenshot of the original order with the prescription expiration date. AVIOD PHARMACIST RUTH!!! IF INTERESTED IN GETTING FLEA MEDICATIONS, I WOULD SUGGEST ANYWHERE ELSE THAT IS NOT CHEWY. Chewy does not have the best price nor do they have reliable service. This has not been my first rodeo, because the same issue has happened a year ago with the shipment delay on my dogs the prescription which ultimately led to my dog getting fleas and messing up our entire home.

    Absolutely disgusting company. They're supposed to make shopping for our pets easier, and more convenient. My experience was far from either. I ordered two bags of creature soil for my new tarantula, and they made me call them to give a verification of my shipping information. So I called and provided what they needed, and then I receive an email saying they needed another verification via email. I wound up providing this information four times, and then they still cancelled my order completely. I will NEVER shop with them again, and I highly advise anyone against wasting their time or money on this trash company.

    I received two coupons from Chewy in the mail for $20 off my next order of $40 or more; I tried to use the promotional code but the site kept saying my order was not eligible for the purchase. I checked the coupon with the code and my the code was not expired and I was not buying excluded products. So I called; and was advised the agent was getting numerous calls about the codes. I was offered either 10%% off - less than $20; or I could pay the entire amount and be credited $20 - neither were fair options in my opinion and I am feeling a bit scammed.

    Chewy has always been amazing, but today, they went above and beyond and helped us immensely! Our monthly supply of cat food arrived today, but it was damaged because the warehouse didn't add any packing paper stuff. There was gravy all over the box and it got all over the floor, so my husband got upset and threw everything in the dumpster. I contacted Chewy about this, and they replaced the whole order! This is amazing because we can't afford to place a new order to buy more food near us. This was unexpected and so helpful! Thank you Chewy!

    I will forever purchase any of my pet needs from Chewy.com. I had a medication for my dog that recently passed away on autofill and had to reach out to Chewy to cancel a prescription that was already on its way to me. The individual who responded to my request to cancel was wonderful, empathetic, and caring. Not only was my money refunded, the Chewy agent extremely caring and supportive, but today I received flowers to my door from the Chewy family to mine in support of such a difficult time.     I have nothing but high praise for all the purchases that I have made with Chewy. I have been using them since 2020. Their customer service is surpassed by no one. The staff is so kind and conciliatory. They have taken care of my girl’s every need with care and love. My little girl went to run on the rainbow bridge on 6/10/24. I sent my auto order back. In exchange, I got a refund and one dozen yellow roses. I have gotten down to 2 cries today until I received the beautiful roses. I will miss all the personal kindness that Chewy employees have shown me. I love each and every one of them. They are all as good as gold.

    I have never heard of a company sending bereavement flowers for pets before! I recently updated my settings to remove one of our pets that had passed. I had hesitated to remove her profile because I felt like I was just deleting her presence forever, however there is an option on the website for a memorial instead of just deleting your pet which I thought was so thoughtful to begin with. I then started a chat with a customer service rep to initiate a return/refund notifying her that I no longer needed that much of our product because one of our kittens had passed away. I came home today to find the sweetest little bouquet with a handwritten sympathy message for the loss of our kitten Dolly! I was in total shock and so impressed by this company. Wow wow wow.... They will definitely have my business for many years to come! Thank you to Olivia and the Chewy team for your compassion and kindness!

    I have been buying things from Chewy for many years. This last week my little 14-year-old Chihuahua passed away and she was on medication. I notified chewy and within a week I received a beautiful hand, painted rock with her name on it and a beautiful card. Chewy is the best!

    I ordered medication for my dog for the first time. The price was substantially less than the vet. It shipped right away. Today I received a get well card with 2 squeaky toys. My dog was excited when he heard the package squeaking. That was such a nice thing for them to do. I get my dog food on auto ship, and they always send the shipping information to let me know it is coming. 6 stars for Chewy!!!

    I an email with Cox.net and they no longer are handling email addresses. I needed to switch my account to my gmail.com account. I could not figure out how, so I sent an email to the Chewy.com service dept. They responded the next day and they had made the change. Wow! I was so surprised. I answered back to them with a thank you from me and my dog Lyla & included a picture of her. They responded right away with this...

    I was so impressed with the customer service! Lyla is also on daily meds and special dog food. I have a delivery set for every 30 days or so. If I am going to be traveling it is easy to change the delivery date. They contact her vet for me and send the supplies faithfully and have never been late and always notify me ahead of time before they ship just in case, I want to change the date or add or remove something from my monthly order. This helps with planning for trips, gives me a discount on her food and meds and Lyla has remained healthy and happy and oh yes, still so cute at 10 years old.

    Been with Chewy.com from the start of the company and as of late the on time shipping is very poor. Usually run out of what I need even when I set the order time correctly. They are very slow to get the product out the door which causes me to have to go to the pet store for my needs.

    Disappointing Experience with Chewy.com Promotion Codes. I have been a customer of Chewy for a while now, as they offer a wide selection of pet products at competitive prices. However, I have found myself increasingly frustrated with their promotion codes. On several occasions, I have attempted to use promotion codes advertised on their website or sent to me via email, only to find that the codes do not work at checkout. When I have reached out to customer service about these issues, the responses have been mixed. Sometimes the representative is able to provide me with a working code, but other times they simply state that the promotion has ended or that the code is not valid for my order, even though I have met the stated requirements.

    This inconsistency with promotion codes has left me disappointed. I feel that Chewy should honor the codes they advertise and send out to customers. If there are restrictions or limitations, those should be clearly spelled out upfront. While I still appreciate Chewy's product selection and generally competitive pricing, my overall satisfaction has decreased due to the unreliability of their promotion codes. I hope that Chewy can improve in this area to provide a better customer experience.

    I love Chewy! Plain and simple. I get Blue Buffalo hairball control for indoor cats for my six rescue cats and Iams for my little terrier who is a senior dog. I love the fact that I can just call customer service and explain to them what I need and they give me many options to choose from. Last time I spoke with Miranda, she was so wonderful. My dog Tater died May 3rd and Miranda was so sweet and kind and really helped me through a lot of the grief. Chewy and Miranda even sent me a bouquet of flowers in memory of Tater. I will be a Chewy customer for life! I know I can trust whatever food they recommend and no matter who you talk to at customer service they are all knowledgeable of their products.

    Is a negative score available??? I ordered 2 boxes of car litter. I arrive home to see my screen porch door not shut all the way. The driver took a pic of del then the screen door slammed into the box and dented my screen guard. They blamed FedEx, who blamed their 3rd party delivery. Long story short, Chewy won't fix what they contracted out, the contracted out refuse to listen. Chewy should stand behind what they sell and guarantee that they will take care of the customers. They claim photo doesn't prove box made the dent.

    They had a deal for $20 off your first auto ship. Well it was my first order. I was ordering flea medicine and they kept calling me over and over claiming I had already used the promotion and they weren’t going to honor it. I didn’t use Chewy previously so it was just a way to scam people. I’m a cattery. I was planning to be a regular customer. I breed Persian kittens. I don’t think I want to risk something being wrong with a product from a cheater company and put the kittens at risk with a possible expired product. If they can cheat for $20 then they might with something else or even cheat my orders and leave stuff out! Very unhappy with the situation. They claimed I previously ordered dog toys. I am a cattery. I only have Persian cats. Nice try chewy. Way to cheat people. I saw the other reviews about how you only send people half their orders already and that’s why almost half of your reviews are only 1 star.

    If I would give 10 stars if I could! I forgot to cancel my autoship dog food order when my dog passed recently and received a bag of dog food on my doorstep. I called to see how to go about returning it, and not only did they refund my money, but let me donate the bag of food to a local shelter.     I can't say enough good things about the experiences I have had with Chewy. I recently lost my beloved kitty Ducati due to a tumor. I had just received a box of Royal Canon pet food (on autoship). I called Chewy to inform them and they refunded my money but then the sales person Katlin went a step further and about 2 days after I received a beautiful floral arrangement and sympathy card from Chewy for the loss of my kitty.     I needed a RX food for my dog. She had bad case of bladder stones. My first time dealing with this. Vet said had to eat special food so I ordered from Chewy my first time in years. Was supposed to be here 2 days ago. Still not here so had to go to vet and buy small bag when I was told the next day would arrive. Nope no food. Last night said here today. I’m not holding my breath because it still shows same thing online. I paid a 120.00 for this and bought bladder treats also. Still no food or treats. I usually go to Amazon for most everything because when they say it will be there it’s on your doorstep the next day. Never again. 123.00 for dog food.     I highly recommend using Chewy.com for your pets. I have used them for years and would have my dog's food sent every few weeks. You can always put a hold on the delivery, or change how often you want it delivered at any time. When my dog passed away, chewy refunded me the money on the last bag of dog food and because it was unopened told me to donate it to the pet shelter of my choice. Chewy.com makes it so easy.     I have been using Chewy.com for my sweet Havanese pups for years. Today I talked with an exceptional Chewy representative, Sierra. I had ordered some 40oz tubs of Maro Treats. The website indicated that if I bought 2 tubs I would get a 3rd tub free. I misunderstood the offer. It looked like if I ordered 2 tubs that they would give me a 3rd tub free. The deal was supposed to be ordering 3 tubs and you would only be charged for 2 tubs with the 3rd tub at N/C. The offer didn’t clearly state this in my opinion. When the order arrived today, I received only 2 tubs.

    I called Chewy and spoke with Sierra and she was so nice and said she would gladly send a 3rd tub to me at N/C. I asked her to have the sales dept be a little more specific in their promotion description and she said she would pass my suggestion to them. Chewy is a great company to serve your pets needs and they have awesome customer service representatives! Thank you Sierra!! You are the BEST!!

    Here's a fact! My dog dog with heart problems was given prescription for heart medication and was told to get it through Chewy which I did about two weeks ago and the heart medication still hasn’t arrived. My dog stopped eating today and now her breathing is out of control. She’s sitting on my lap right now and I'm pretty sure she will pass tonight and I can't help but feel upset at the fact that that heart medication would have made a difference if they delivered the gd things.

    I ordered two ESA dog patches. The description said they were loop and latch. They were not. They need sewn on by a commercial sewing machine or glued on professionally. I called Chewy, they said they would refund me. They did not. They gave me a gift card for the amount of money I paid and it can only be used on their site. Then today I look at my bank account and somehow there is an order for a dog harness which I did not order. I call Chewy again. Asked to cancel the order, they stated my money will be refunded, I made it very clear I did not want a gift card but the money is to be put back into my checking account. They said it will take 3 or 4 days to show up on my statement at the bank. It better or I may get the law after them for deceptive selling practices.

    I have done business with Chewy.com for 2 decades and 2 dogs, both yellow labs. My most recent lab, Bella, had to be put to sleep 1 week ago. She was a shelter dog, as all of my have been, and was 15+ yrs old. I am in my 70s with no family and this was devastating for me. Chewy sent me a dozen beautiful roses much to my surprise,.     I order from Chewy all the time and I have never had a problem!! Once I ordered about $60 in clothes for my Dachshund and if you have one they are hard to guess the size, needless to say not one shirt fit him, I called and Chewy sent the whole order in a different size and all they asked is that I donate the clothes that didn't fit to a local shelter! I want to add that I did not ask for that. I told them I would pay because it wasn't their fault!

    I also ordered 2 bags of treats and they were cut open but you could tell it was by a razor blade by accident and no questions asked I got 2 new bags the next day!! I will wrap this up with the whole reason I am writing this review, I got a new puppy and I ordered some things for him and some of my order got lost, well of course they replaced my order and I told her it was for my new puppy and after talking she added Riley to my profile on Chewy. I was sobbing and she comforted me and gave me tons of support. I called to cancel an auto ship order in which I couldn't find and later realized I didn't scroll down far enough.     Chewy.com is the most amazing company I have ever done business in. They truly care about their customers and our furry friends. I purchased all of my dogs food from them for years. She needed a canned dog stew rather than dry kibble because of a swallowing difficulty. Sometimes the cans weren't quite full. When I called Chewy they simply sent new cans to me, no return necessary. As my dog got older I needed a ramp for her to walk into my truck. The first one I purchased didn't work for us. I called Chewy about returning it. They said just donate it to a dog rescue group and they refunded my money.

    Just a few weeks ago I purchased a large amount of my dogs food because I was going out of town. Right after it arrived my beautiful sweet girl passed away. I called Chewy and asked if I could return the food. They told me to donate the food to a local dog shelter or rescue group. They then refunded $319 to my credit card for the food. I went ahead and left town. When I returned there was a box of one dozen red and white roses waiting for me. They were sent by Chewy because I lost my beautiful, sweet girl. HOW MANY COMPANIES WOULD BE SO CARING TODAY? ONLY ONE THAT I KNOW OF. THANK YOU SO MUCH CHEWY. YOU MAKE THIS A BETTER WORLD. ❤️

    I ordered medicine from Chewy for a few years. Once there was a shipping mishap with an order. There was no trouble getting a hold of them and working on a resolution. They are reliable, friendly and solution oriented. On Mother’s Day Reyna, our 15yo Labradoodle passed away. I was receiving emails from Chewy, as normal. I contacted them and told them what happened to our Reyna and asked them how to stop the emails. They were gentle and directed me how to update our account which would stop the emails.     I recently ordered a specialty dog food prescribed by our vet for my elderly English Bulldog, but the day before it arrived, we lost him. I received an email from Chewy asking about the efficiency of the shipment and I replied those shipment was great but that Hickory had passed away last Monday. Customer service rep Danielle B. wrote the most heartfelt and kind email back to me refunding the purchase price of the 2 cases of food, telling me not to return it but donate it to the vet in memory of Hickory.     Almost every order comes with many damaged goods. I order cans and almost every single one is dented which can make them subject to botulism. Plus, I should not be receiving any items damaged when I order. When they come damaged, they want me to package them up and ship them back before even considering a refund. Crummy service, supposed to be "convenient" but is barely so when I have to ship nearly everything back. I've asked them not to send damaged goods yet they do almost every time.

    Chewy has long been my favorite source of cat food. When my cat got older, they also became my feline pharmacy of choice, as they were less expensive than the veterinarian. I really appreciated that they sent birthday cards for my cats! Last week, I lost my almost 18 year old boy. I was devastated. I called Chewy in tears, to let them know that I no longer needed the medication he was on. The representative I spoke with was very sensitive to my emotional state, and was very supportive.     About a week ago I adopted a beautiful cat, but she became ill so our vet recommended I buy a prescription food for her. I ordered it from Chewy. My new baby didn't get to try it because she passed away today.     I have always had great experiences with Chewy.com. When I had any problems, like FedEX not probably caring for my dog food package causing it to get two big holes punch into the box and one of the two dog bags. I called Chewy to let them know that they need to let FedEx know about their handling problems with their packages. I took photos with the damage. I told the Chewy staff member I might have lost a cup of food but if I had let the package sent out overnight we had storms and I should have been very concerned about the dry food getting wet and causing mold leading to either my dog getting sick or wasting up to 32 lbs worth of food. I said I do not need a replacement bag but I wanted to let the company know since Chewy has been good for me. That week I got a replacement bag free of charge. I greatly appreciated it.

    Also, just today, my mom got a box was Chewy. My mom was like, "I did not order anything that small." She opened the box. It had a Chewy cup with tea, honey, etc. in plus a great well soon card. My mom recently had to call them because we moved and changed banks so something with the order was going to be wrong and my mom called to correct everything before the next shipment went out and she just said, "Sorry. She was coughing during the call but she was sick." She never expected the gift.

    I have heard on TikTok that Chewy does flowers when a pet passes but I have not heard about the get well soon gift. It cheered my mom up and it made me help. It helped solidify my family's loyalty to the brand due to their great products, their great customer service, and now their great PR actions to make us feel like valued customers. Thank you, Chewy, for your business strategies. It has helped my family during this challenging time ranging from family members (pets and non pets) recent passings, a major move, and sickness in the household.

    Wow. I’m amazed by the wonderful customer service and values of this company. We had called to cancel a delivery because our yellow lab had passed away. They told us to donate the stuff and reimbursed us. They didn’t stop here, today we just received a handwritten note and a hand painted garden rock with our dog's name on it.     I have high standards when it comes to customer service, and Chewy has always excelled in meeting my expectations over the years. Too many positive interactions to mention, but I was completely blown away at their customer service when my twenty year old cat passed away.     I use to love Chewy but it's changed so much. Orders not right bothered me. My last order was my final order. Full of maggots and ate through cans. Food everywhere with maggots. Chewy did refund me some of the money. With that the entire order should of been refunded but it didn't happen. I'm really upset about it. $68 refunded. I had an issue with some cat food I bought and they reached out to me based a review I left about the food making my cat sick. They truly care about you and your pets. Customer service like this is extremely hard to come by anymore. I will never switch, I hope they never change.

    This review is partly emotional and partly customer service related. On Saturday, I lost my beloved companion of fifteen years, my amazing dog, Athena. My heart was shattered. Several hours after her passing a package from Chewy arrived on the doorstep. Who wants to deal with that after such a great loss? On Tuesday, I contacted the 24/7 customer service line for Chewy and the agent, Laurette answered the call. She was so kind, compassionate, caring and completely adept at providing the best customer service available. Not only did she credit my account, she also credited the shipping fee, basically unheard of, and informed me I didn't need to return the product! That is going above and beyond to help another person in their grief! They also sent a bouquet of flowers! I'm amazed. Due to Laurette's wonderful service, Chewy's culture of compassionate service and quality products, I am a customer for life!

    My family has shopped with Chewy for years but that's not going to be the case after today!!     As a first time customer, I am appalled at their service and do not know how they have any customers. I ordered **, which they kept telling me they were awaiting approval from my vet. After a couple of days of this I contacted my vet who says they had both emailed and faxed approval to Chewy.com. That was last week. I emailed Chewy.com yesterday to produce a confirmation of shipping and tracking number today or cancel. I was thinking this might actually spur them to ship…wrong. I received notification of my cancellation…but no word on a refund, of which they have had my money for a week! I will NEVER buy from Chewy.com again! One and done!

    Consumer warning: Chewy has changed their return policy. If an item is damaged en route and you want a return or replacement, chewy will require the WHOLE ORDER be returned. Doesn't matter how heavy, doesn't matter if you really needed the undamaged parts of the order, and based on those I asked, chewy has no intention of changing how they pack boxes. I guess I'm moving my pet needs over to a different retailer since chewy has never been super consistent in how they pack orders. If you call and bounce around agents, you may be able to do a single item return, but that's actually worse since it means these policies are arbitrary.

    My babies love Native pet products. The patiently wait at the food bowl while it's added in. I have 2 very picky dogs and now they eat so much better. I bought The Daily which they demand in their food. If I don’t add it they won't touch their food. We have added bone broth to their homemade food and they can’t wait for meal time.

    While my orders come timely, what is frustrating is as much money as I spend, their coupons always seem to never apply to my food. Recently, they offered a $30 ecard and did not state “exclusions may apply”. However, when I asked why it did not apply, I was advised that food was not applicable to the coupon. That’s not okay. Chewy needs to make offers for those who use them on a frequent basis.

We had to say goodbye to our 12-year-old lab and had ordered some supplies that were no longer needed from chewy. I called him to find out the return policy.     American journey dog food salmon and sweet potato packaging arriving defective. This occurred on two different deliveries. Both times the bag is open at the top under the seam where the corner thins in. If not careful you would miss this defect if you didn't examine the bag first. I'm not sure if someone's tampering with the bags or if it's just a defect from the new packaging change that they did back in 2022. We just started receiving the new packaging quickly noticed it. If you're not careful you can miss the packaging defect, so I would highly encourage you to examine your bag. If you find a product defect take pictures and submit to Chewy.

    I did call and speak with a supervisor. She had mentioned that other people were reporting of the same incident and so it would need investigation. They did reimburse us for the money of the product but it's now forcing us to go to a different product altogether. I did try on several occasions to put a review on the website and I believe they blocked me from doing so which I have screenshots of saying there's an error within their website. They probably don't want to panic people out there who buy the product for possible tampering.

    I have to say that for the most part, their customer service is excellent. On a few occasions where I got the wrong product, or had to return something, they were great at getting me a refund. I had meds that I couldn't use anymore because my cat had died, and they not only refunded my money, but also said I didn't have to return it, and suggested that I give the items to a rescue. They also sent a beautiful condolence card and remembrance item for my cat, I thought that was really nice. I had been a long-time customer, and will remain so.

    I ordered a product that was advertised on Google from Chewy.com that was marked at $12.77 marked down from $20. It said “discount given at checkout”…at checkout, the discount was NOT given. I placed the order without realizing that the discount was not given. Upon calling Chewy to find out why…I was told that that price was just for new customers, and when I logged into my account, they didn’t give me that price!! I told them that this was false advertising, and that they were running a scam by doing this! Needless to say, I canceled my order and canceled my account. I won’t do business with a company that practices such deceptive advertising policies. BEWARE when you order from them, and make sure they honor the quoted price. My experience proves that they don’t!

    This company is not pet friendly. They sell poison. They don't get the products or where they are coming from or if the item is what the manufacturer or wholesaler says it is. They advertised an indoor/outdoor enclosure as habitable for a bunny. Well, when it arrived, you could smell it was cedar, which is a toxic wood to bunnies. Bunnies happen to have teeth that never stop growing so they constantly need to chew to gnaw them down. One of the things they chew is wood. I'd love the genius who made this animal product for rabbits to explain why they would use a toxic wood for an animal that chews wood for health benefits?

    While Chewy did end up removing the product by listing it as out of stock, the price was reduced to half before that so they were still selling an item known to be harmful. As for me, I got no refund or credit or anything and the hutch I bought wasn't cheap. It was around $300. That's a fair amount to spend on a bunny home. I ended up making something myself so at least now I know it's safe for my bunny. I do not recommend this company or their products at all. I did end up taking my bunny to the vet because of the cedar exposure.

    So last Thursday I lost my dog, Buddy, in an accident. Friday, I had to call Chewy customer service to see if I could get a replacement bulb for our breaded dragon. While chatting with, Ashley, from their response center; we were chitchatting during the process and when she asked how my day was going I told her not good because I lost my dog last night. She expressed her sympathy and I appreciated it. Well, yesterday before work, I woke up to a box and to my disbelief (of the good in this world) they had sent me flowers for my "BUDDY". I cannot express how thoughtful that is and was. Chewy gained a customer for life ❤️.

    Chewy has great products at reasonable prices but their packaging/shipping is horrendous. I understand they want to be conservative on the amount of boxes they send, but putting a heavy box of litter, a big bag of food, a little tube of laxatone, and 2 small boxes of litter deodorizer is not smart. The little items get crushed and blown open causing a mess. Not to mention FedEx is the worst courier. They just throw stuff on or near your door without any care. I'm tired of it. It might be time to switch back to Amazon.

    I recently received a box from Chewy that I didn't order so I called customer service. I spoke to a gentleman named Aaron who was a breath of fresh air in the world of customer service.     My dog takes ** because her pancreas does not work correctly. The medicine is very expensive and requires a prescription. I was told when the medicine was due to ship that the prescription had to be handwritten and sent to Chewy. I did this and had it sent priority mail. It was delivered this morning to chewy and I called and asked them to please find it and get the Medicine in the mail today because I’m almost out. Well guess what? It didn’t happen. The only reason why I stay with Chewy is because that’s the cheapest place to get the medicine. Now I feel like they don’t even care about my animal because if they did, they would’ve made sure that medicine got out today. I made extremely disappointed and chewy.

    I've never had an experience with any other pet store that shows the compassion and care for its customers like Chewy does. We lost our 11 year old mini-Schnauzer and they expressed sympathy by sending us a bouquet of flowers. They have always stood behind every product we've bought from them and if we find our dogs don't like it then they refund the money and we pass on the generosity by donating the products to animal rescue groups.     Chewy has always been our favorite pharmacy for our little Lucy (13 yr old toy poodle). The Customer Service is the BEST in the business. Lucy is a type 1 diabetic and her ** is always packed well and delivered in 2 days. We pay ZERO for Shipping and have not found any place that sells and delivers for less. Chewy often e-mails me some great codes for price reductions of items on their website. My Vet's office tried to get us to switch to their pharmacy that they use but it cost $12 more and I am staying with Chewy (VERY SATISFIED)!

    Chewy has the best customer service of any retail store I have ever shopped! Brittany answered my questions in a super friendly and knowledgeable way. During the course of the discussion, Brittany asked me how my cats Tesla and Jellybean were doing. When I told Brittany my Jellybean had passed away, she was sympathetic and apologetic, but I chalked it up to just being "customer service nice." Then Saturday morning, I received flowers from Brittany and the Chewy family and I broke down in tears! I'm not used to this level of caring, especially for the loss of my kitty. Brittany wouldn't know it, but Jellybean's passing broke my heart and I have been so despondent because of it. Needless to say, Chewy has earned my undying loyalty and I will no longer purchase any pet supplies products from anywhere else!     Chewy is an amazing company. Along with the autoship features they have some great products. I have never been let down by Chewy. I recently skipped my monthly autoship but a week later realized I needed some dog food. I told them at 1 PM I wanted my autoship and 2 hours later I was told it was getting packaged and shipped.     I want to thank everyone for the kind words of comfort during this difficult time of saying goodbye to Bella. As some of you know, Bella was my mother's dog and Grace's sister.     I just had a remarkable experience with CHEWY. I had an error while ordering several items for my new home. I had changed my default mailing address to the new one, but the page defaulted to the old address. And I did not catch it until I got a notification for the delivery of the first half. I called, and Chewy rushed to fix it. They notified FedEx to return and pick up the first part. And they called to stop and turn around part two to come to the new place. I just got a call today that everything should be here Monday. I had expected a total loss - a $ 220 order, too. And instead Chewy saved the day.

    Constantly out of stock, having to switch dog food constantly from order to order causing digestive upsets in the dogs and on the spot testing never tried before dog food that caused a reaction. My dog licked his paw raw having a reaction for the first time in his 8 years. Being notified back in stock only to find it's out of stock. No prior notification that your auto ship will be canceled ((after)) it' was expected to be shipped and already on it's way that you have to order on the spot so food will be on it's way. Since Jan 2024 and it's getting worse when you can't make it to check out before a food is now listed out of stock.

    I cannot say enough good things about Chewy. I use them for many years. I had several dogs and several cats throughout the years. I had things on subscription that would come periodically as needed. When I lost my last pet earlier in 2024, and I canceled my subscription, they asked me what my reason was and I told him that I had lost my last pet.     I have used Chewy on and off with cats. I recently got my first ever puppy. She unfortunately did not develop correctly and passed away unexpectedly.     I am so extremely impressed with Chewy. I've always been satisfied with the products I buy from them and their prices. However, recently, I messaged them to return a product as the pet I bought it for passed away. Not only did Chewy respond quickly with an extremely kind message, they processed the refund without even requesting the product back.     Bought a $150 tower for my kitty. Delivery was fast. The packaging was impressive. Clear, vibrant colors and crisp, clean lettering. However when the actual product arrived, it was missing quite a few nails and washers required to put it together. All three of the scratching posts were not properly put on, so we actually had to go out and buy a staple gun and nails that fit. Once we finally had what was supposed to come with the tower and started to put it together, the holes on the second floor base for the screws were not cut in the right sections. After that, we tried to call them to get a replacement tower, to no avail. I called three times and my boyfriend called twice. They refused to send a replacement or to give us a refund. At this point, all we have to say is, if you truly are a pet lover, do not shop here. You will end up paying extra just for tools and screws. I really wish there was an option for zero stars.

    I have run a large e-commerce company in the past for 10 years- served on boards of multi-billion dollar companies- and No One manages their customer service as deftly, as personally, or as well, as Chewy.com. As a long time Chewy customer, we get everything from very specific dog and cat food, to kitty litter from Chewy. They have replaced damaged product, told me to donate dog and cat food to local shelters, and even sent us flowers when our dog tragically died. Chewy started out as an economical decision for high end dog food but has become as much a part of our animal family as they make us feel our pets are part of their family. If you ever had a problem with anything from Chewy, and contacted them, you would feel as we do, just super happy customers. Thanks guys- and I'm sorry we missed your original round of investment.

    I've been shopping with Chewy for several years now. They've always been reliable providing nothing short of excellent customer service and products. One of my cats, Cosmo had a urinary tract disorder and I bought all of his prescription food through this online store. He was the little love of my life and when he passed last week, I had two bags of prescription cat food for him that I got from Chewy. I called them to find out if I could return the food and get a credit and they told me that they would give me the credit for the two bags and let me donate them to a local shelter rather than having to mail them back. I was so grateful for their support during such a difficult time. Tonight when I got home from work I found a vase of beautiful fresh flowers on my doorstep.

    When I opened the card that came with the flowers I was so surprised to see that it was from Chewy. In the card that came with the flowers, the Chewy staff expressed their condolences while mentioning Cosmo as a member of my family. Although I've always recognized him as a member of my family, many people do not. I am so touched and moved by the kindness and compassion expressed to me from this fine company and I will continue to shop with them for the rest of my life.

    Very poor service. Ended up getting shipped another person's order due to it being packed incorrectly at the Chewy warehouse. They were unable to help or fix other than creating a new order with no expediting. When I asked if they need the other order number we were shipped to contact that customer and let them know their pet's food would not arrive they said they could not.

    They sent me a discount and I decided to make an order on this site for the first time. Not only does the site not work correctly. I placed the order with difficulty within an hour. Website and app pages are constantly glitching. So the store could not confirm my prescription for food at the clinic. I've never had a problem with this anywhere. I couldn't upload the recipe because the website is so glitchy. They simply canceled my order and voided my discount! I do not recommend this store to anyone!

    We have used Chewy for approximately 3 years and we have always had great customer service. Recently, we lost a pet and Chewy went out of their way to express great kindness. Unfortunately this was not the only family member passing recently. A few days later I get a floral arrangement delivered from the Chewy family. More businesses should operate like this.

    This company is a JOKE. They mailed out 2 different coupons to try to earn back my business and after several emails and my time, they say I can’t use them because they have already been used. What a joke I literally just received one of them yesterday and the other within the last week so how could it have been used. I have not ordered from them in over 6 months because of an issue trying to get my email corrected. Buyer beware. I will not waste my time with this company again. Petco and Petsmart are so easy to deal with and prices are competitive.

    The reason for my five star review for Chewy when I signed up to get my pet's meds they were prompt and never late with delivery. When my Skye passed away they not only helped me cancel my dog's meds, gave me a refund then two days later I got flowers from them with a really nice card.     So I placed an order for kitty prescription meds two weeks ago. It still hasn’t shipped. Customer service keeps telling me “I understand”. Very friendly people, but if they actually understood, then I’d have the order in my hands already. The pricing is very good, but that is irrelevant if you can’t get the stuff that your pet needs. (Incidentally, we had similar experience with prescription pet food that Chewy couldn’t seem to keep in stock. We now buy that from PetCo.). The Chewy people also seem to keep canceling and re-entering the RX order too. Probably to “game” their own fulfillment metrics. Sheez. Very sad. Expected better.

    I needed to return/cancel auto ship prescriptions. Went to the live chat and spoke with the kindest representative. I told her that I needed to return because we were going to say goodbye to our precious girl Butters. She was extremely compassionate and promptly refunded the return.     I'm gonna sum it up but this is a huge appreciation post. I can't say enough about them and our amazing experience! I made a special order over the weekend for prescription grade cat food for Coco, only took two days! Needless to say we had to make a hard decision to relieve our cat's pain and suffering our boy had to cross the rainbow bridge and meet Jesus. But the Chewy fully reimbursed payment for the food then told us to donate it in Coco's name to any shelter we wanted and if that wasn't enough they even had flowers sent in our time of grief. I'm just absolutely blown away, for a big company like that they even offered my wife people to talk to in this hard time. This company has gone above and beyond and this kinda care is just unheard of in today world! The flowers made my wife's day and I can't thank them enough!

    My 17 yrs old Maine Coon, I've been trying desperately to save, although he cannot recover as I explained. I bought many foods to try to get him to eat anything. Two, pretty expensive. On a very fixed income, when he wouldn't touch them they cheerfully refunded me. Food is less expensive here than even Walmart, and litter in my opinion. Free delivery is great. I just had a conversation with a rep who listened patiently and offered true condolences as well as a supporting ear, today the very next day, flowers were delivered to me, as I wiped the tears of joy, finally I was anticipating, who would send these.

    I only have contact with 2 people! It was Chewy! Every time I look at the gorgeous arrangement, I will look instead as a celebration of his life, and MY Toby was all I have!!! Seriously I have never been treated so graciously, in the last 20yrs. Seriously they also will be in my heart ❤️ FOREVER, Miss D, You are the best, from the bottom of my heart!     I was assured that if a written prescription was received that the prescription would go out within 48 hours of receiving that Rx. I was never told they don't ship on Fridays and only ship on business days (mind you, Friday is not a business day in their minds). My dog really needed that antibiotic so I paid for certified mail and hopefully I will still receive reimbursement for that added cost. When I realized that it would be a full week before receiving the antibiotic after they received the prescription because they don't ship on Fridays, I cancelled the order. Now I have to get through my vet but honestly, the cost is only $10 more and I wish I hadn't used Chewy.com in the first place because my dog got sicker and sicker waiting for them to decide what a "business day" is.

    Been with Chewy.com for years with 4 rescue pups and then another 4 when they passed. Chewy was bought out by PetSmart a few years back and I kept waiting for the shoe to drop with poor customer service but it did not. Well, if finally did in the past few months. From delivering dog food in the rain to a shelter that is closed to dropping the ball yet again on our pups prescriptions, it was just one too many non-customer service events and I closed my account.

    So Chewy advertises "Let us contact your vet. It's faster." So I did. This script is for a cat that is in extreme pain without the med. Set up as auto ship, was setup for March 15. I reached out first to customer service shift supervisor Jessica and explained the situation - "Why have the food items already shipped and received today 3/15, but the one item I truly am in need of, still don't see that my script has even been processed?" Jessica discovers it was actually approved on Thursday the 14th so again "Why isn't it being prepared for shipment"? She finally connects to pharmacy supervisor Alyssa - out of PA USA.

    I explain, "My cat is out of its meds after today." and her response after I bring up the fact that I discover it was actually approved a day before and another pharmacist first told Jessica, "It probably wouldn't ship till Monday" - "WHY?" Why do I have to wait 4 days after a script was approved before it's shipped. Remind you it was 2:15 Friday afternoon and script was approved day before, Alyssa says "We have 3-5 days to process shipment once order is received." - WHERE is that info? I never seen that timeframe. Instead of showing some empathy and having an attitude to go above & beyond to make the customer whole I get "Well, I'll put in a request to get going on it" and "You should receive it by Tuesday the latest."

    Now I just received notification via email the expected delivery is WEDNESDAY. I see a shipping label was created but the script is still sitting in a warehouse, not shipped! Meanwhile I have to leave work early and drive two towns over before my vet closes to get a script to cover me until this one arrives! UNBELIEVABLE!!!! I am NEVER doing business with Chewy's pharmacy again. Such a lack of doing the right thing. This excerpt was copied from Chewy's FAQ under the pharmacy link: "We are working to get your approval to have your pet’s healthcare item shipped as soon as possible." REALLY,... This is not the definition of “As soon as possible!” NEVER AGAIN.

    I've used Chewy pharmacy 2 times in the last month. Both times have been a complete disaster. Chewy has a 100% fail rate with my pharmacy orders. My first order placed, and paid for ($170), on February 27th, somehow ended up in Florida...I'm in California. On March 7 after several phone calls and much frustration I was told they would expedite me a replacement order, I finally received it on March 11. While talking to the Chewy pharmacy representatives on March 7, I explained my other household pets also now needed the same medication (as they too were now having symptoms) and expressed my concern about placing a 2nd order with Chewy pharmacy since I still hadn't received the first order. I was assured the first order fiasco was a fluke, and I could absolutely have trust in their services with my 2nd pharmacy order. Well that was a huge mistake!

    Here it is March 17 (10 days and another $170 later) and after several frustrating calls I received an email today telling me the medication will be here on March 19...I'm not gonna hold my breath, we'll see. It took 13 days to get my first order and so far 12 days and counting to receive my 2nd order. To say this has been a maddening and disappointing experience doesn't even come close to explaining my feelings. No refunds, no credit, no we're sorry email, just one excuse after the next while my pets continue to NOT receive their prescribed medication. I will never use Chewy pharmacy service again.

    The people in the warehouses do not know how to verify to make sure that the item being picked and shipped matches what the customer ordered. The customer service line was very helpful in issuing replacements but when I get the replacement package and look inside, I am looking at the same jumbo nail caps for Dogs. I ordered Pink glitter for cats size med. I will be going back to ordering from Amazon. I got the same wrong item 3 times in a row.

    I received my order today. It was left at my detached garage far away and subject to the elements. Specific instructions on my account says to leave at covered front door. I have a replaced vertebrae and can't move them. Her solution. Print out a packing label and send it back???? Have spent over 5000 dollars with this company. 500 at Christmas time alone.     Chewy was recommended for wet diabetic cat food. I followed the recommendation and became thoroughly familiar with Chewy products and philosophy so started my initial online order but it was refused by the software. I changed credit cards. I changed delivery addresses. I couldn't figure out why my order was rejected. I called Chewy and Terri answered. She, too, couldn't place my order. She tried. Then, she found the issue. Chewy does not send products to all states. Chewy does not send to Hawaii! Why not put in bold type on the product page and order page to stop reading or ordering if you have a Hawaii address?! Simply. Honest. Transparent. Such disrespect for another's time.

    The worse company on the planet. I returned 2 Kitty Litter Robots, the buttons would not work. I was told by that operator to keep robot or donate it; I called 10 days later asking where my refund is and told, "You have to return the Robot"; thank god it was still in my garage & not thrown away. Sent back & waited, nothing; I call, "Oh your card was not working"; no call or email to tell me this, and this could have been cleared up weeks ago. I called today and Lexies the supervisor hung up on me because I was recording; THEY ARE RECORDING. Called back after Lexie hung up on me and chatted with a JIM. Still not happy I have to wait to see if they accept a new card to send money back. It's same bank. A call this afternoon I am told.

    I looked up who owns Chewy and it is Petsmart the biggest scam company ever. I signed up my two dogs for their Banfield pet insurance. One dog died, I spent a day on phone try to cancel my dog's insurance, my daughter tried on another day, no answer. So I paid for a yr for a dead dog. Next dog died and I changed my CC due to theft, Banfield Insurance turned me over to collect for $35. Every time I applied for anything Banfield popped up on my credit report.If you cannot get a hold of them to cancel what are you suppose to do? 100% Scam company. I will not be using Chewy EVER AGAIN!

    Our family has used Chewy.com for our pet needs for about 6 years. We have never had any issues with our orders. We have always been very happy with the service. Recently, (on Valentine's Day) we had to say goodbye to our beautiful, sweet, 17-year-old rat terrier Roxee. She had developed kidney disease along with age-related heart failure. She was on a prescription diet which we ordered from Chewy. Her condition her to have very little appetite in her final days and we had recently received a 12-can pack of her food. When our girl passed we still had 9 cans left. I contacted Chewy and informed them of Roxee’s passing.

    The customer service agent (Bernard) was extremely compassionate and kind. When I asked about returning the unopened cans of food, I was told that they would refund my money but that it would not be necessary to return the food and that I could donate it to a local rescue. Then just 2 days later we received a beautiful bouquet of flowers, from Bernard and the Chewy team, expressing their sympathy at the passing of our beloved pup. That type of amazing customer service is rare these days and is the reason our family will continue to rely on Chewy for our pet needs.

    Chelsea, the CSR, went the distance. I was short on my purchase amount to receive the $30 e-coupon. I called for expiration date on coupon. My SS funds wouldn't arrive in time. We had a pleasant conversation, about me with 2 cats plus caring for my daughters, 2 cats during her crisis, and laughing how I often missed out on good deals in general (in supermarket also etc.). Chewy sent me my package immediately WITH the e-coupon. I cried. It felt like I won the lottery. I'm not one to win things... What she didn't know was how bad my year has been. My Mom passed, then my Son on Easter. I've had surgeries and procedures. I have become isolated with my grief.

    This month my vacuum broke, my heater and my fridge. And more negativity I won't go into. I sit in a chair all day. It is the cats that make me get out of bed. That Chewy delivery broke something in the air. The next day I fixed my vacuum myself and for a couple days deep cleaned my LR and kitchen. I feel like I lost 1000 lbs. of darkness. She didn't know that her actions would affect me this much. I guess I just needed 1 single nice thing to happen to me. This won't solve all my problems, but it was like an air hug and put me ahead a little with their food as I've been just getting by. Thank you Chelsea. Thank you Chewy. And anyone reading this, when you go out of your way to smile or chit chat or be kind to someone, it might be the only good that has come their way in a long time...

    It was my first order with Chewy. My dog had heart murmur for a while and he was taking medication for a while also so because of medication kidney got a problem. So I ordered kidney food for my dog. And after I ordered he only took two cans of them and passed away…. And I called chewy to return the food and they said just I can donate the food and they will fully refund.     As I wrote this I’m crying. I have had to put down two dogs in the 2/3 years. And both times this company has made me feel so heartfelt. Losing Dante was worse than my divorce to be honest and Nike was sooo difficult. Both times they treated me with compassion. Just today I was at work and my father messaged me about getting flowers sent to the house. I thought he was joking and requested me. He sent me a picture proof. I was so confused as to who would have sent me these. To my surprise had sent me flowers and apology note.     I have been a customer for many years and have had autoships for my Cole's (yorkie) prescription diet dog food. Cole went to the rainbow bridge last Saturday and I had to call and cancel the autoship. Kevin assisted in cancelling the autoship and he had asked the reason and I told him about Cole. Today while I was at work the doorbell rang at home and it was a flower delivery. I had to run home because I would not be home early and it was raining outside.     I have been a customer for several years ordering for my cats and have always been satisfied. The other day I had to call bc there was an error with my delivery bc I have moved. The woman I spoke to was so very nice, very helpful and solved the issue right away. She happened to notice that I sounded sick, I said yes I’ve had a cold for many weeks. To my surprise today I received a Chewy mug with some tea bags and two honey sticks along with a card to say they hope I feel better soon. I just couldn’t believe how nice the woman was that she took the time to notice and send something so very nice. I wish I could remember her name but I hope she enjoys her job as mush as I appreciate her attentiveness. More companies should take notice.     I've been a customer of Chewy for at least 6 years. They've always been wonderful, but they went above and beyond anything I expected. I contacted Chewy after my dog passed away expectedly. When I asked about returning some of the dog food that I had purchased, the Chewy representative expressed their heartfelt condolences, and offered to refund my entire purchase price, even for the products that were opened or used. They said there was no need to return any of the items, but instead just donate them to a charity of my choice. I was overwhelmed with how generous they were. To top it off, they sent me flowers the next day. Chewy is an amazing company. When the day comes that I'm ready to get another pet, I can guarantee that I will again be a loyal Chewy customer.

    I was drawn to Chewy by a promise of 50% off first order and an additional 5% off if I use Autoship. I setup my account and started to place my first order. When the amounts did not match the promise, I called their support number. Jada informed me that the 50% off was capped at $30. And, that I would not get the additional 5% of the first order. Based on this and poor reviews I canceled my account.

    On January 26th we had to put our German Shepherd down. On Saturday I called Chewy about a refund for the leftover cans of K/D I had purchased. The refund the money and I donated it to our Vet.     I have had such amazing customer service experiences with Chewy. My orders are always prompt and correct. Customer service is helpful and nice. Honestly, the customer service alone is the reason enough for me to never shop anywhere else for my pet needs. I can’t recommend them enough. Side note: I was even sent a hand painted picture of my cat (based off the Chewy profile pic I took) once with my order. That picture is displayed in my office. They are wonderful.

    We’ve been using Chewy for years. Our DIL sent us a gift from chewy and it came with a huge rip (dog collar) so I called to get it replaced. Aisha Couldn’t have been more unhelpful. So we sent our DIL a text thanking her for the thoughtful gift but suggesting she call for a refund - since we could not - and cancelled our chewy account and all our repeating orders. Chewy must be doing super well - so well that they no longer care about customer service but we’ve just replaced our standing orders through Amazon and don’t plan on ever using Chewy again. They’ve gone downhill in customer service so unless you don’t care that they ship broken unusually things buy elsewhere. Wish I could post a picture. Disgraceful that they sent us this custom item with a huge rip in it. Worse that the customer service person was just rude.

    I often add a product to the dog food that I receive for my pet. When it’s packaged right, all items are in good shape. But, increasingly, half of the shipments come in, looking smashed and damaged. I am very disappointed with the quality of their shipping nowadays.

    The cat products I’ve ordered are as good or better than expected and very fast delivery. Returns without question. Immediate refund and suggested to donate unwanted product to help a shelter. The best was their compassion and sympathy when I cancelled auto ship special food because my sweet cat passed away. Then 2 days later they sent a beautiful bouquet with a very sweet personally written sympathy note. Over the top sensitive to customer needs. Thank you. Thank you.

    This is the second time I have gone thru this with Chewy. I place an order for my cat's insulin needles and food. He is 15 and diabetic. I was 21 minutes past the shipping time and they would not even send it via overnight. If they don't have a script for the insulin but they have it for the food. This is insane. They literally just killed my cat cause someone in the vet services never called to follow up. They just canceled the order and never let me know. This is so wrong. I am contacting an attorney to sue them. In the meantime it's gonna cost me 5k to bring him to a hospital and hopefully they will be able to save him. This is heartbreaking. Please cancel all the Chewy orders. Use PetSmart or anyone else. Just not Chewy. They don't care about your pets.

    I am a long-time Chewy customer but service has significantly declined to what I’d call abysmal. I ordered some meds for my two dogs and asked Chewy to contact my vet which is recommended by Chewy. I didn’t hear anything about my order for almost 2 weeks. When I contacted Chewy they said they only had approval for one of the two dogs. I never was informed about this. Chewy sent a request to my vet again, who told me they never received the first one for that dog. The approval was sent and I again didn’t receive notification that the meds shipped. When I called, the customer service rep said she saw the approval in their system and didn’t know why their pharmacy didn’t see it. She transferred me to a pharmacy tech who rather rudely said both I and Chewy’s customer service rep didn’t know what we were talking about, they didn’t have the approval.

    When I insisted that they did, she went to talk to the pharmacist, and then came back to tell me I was correct, they did have the approval and were filling it that minute and immediately shipping the meds. It’s now more than 2 weeks later, and again I’ve heard nothing. No notification of shipment, no meds. My vet won’t approve a prescription to another pharmacy because she only can issue one for the same medicine. So my dog doesn’t have her meds and I’m dealing with a nightmare called Chewy. I won’t order another thing from this poor excuse for a customer serving company.

    My cat, Jasmine, was 18 years old and died this October. I had been getting her food and other supplies from Chewy for a number of years. I let the company know she had passed and to close my account. I received a kind condolence email from the company and a few days later I received a beautiful bouquet of yellow roses and a vase. I was quite emotional by such a wonderful gesture. Every year I receive a birthday card from them too.

    I don't know if this is the new practice, but I live in the country off a busy road. My driveway is long and has a gate up at the top. My Chewy.com boxes used to get left at the top by the gate. Lately they leave them at the bottom of the driveway or leaned up at the mailbox? This is just an invitation for theft. I guess I'll just hit the local pet store again what a disappointment that Chewy allows their carriers to do this. If you live where theft is common use someone else besides chewy or you're setting yourself up.

    VERY ANNOYING! I placed an Order 3 days ago, it would normally have been shipped already, I spoke with rep online and a rep over phone. They are refusing to send my order because I used my husband's card. Who is currently travelling, let's be serious. None of us have time to be CALLING THEM!!!! I have placed numerous orders always using his card. Never had issues!!!! I will be at Petco.com from now on.

    I tried to place an order for dog diapers, including some other items, and a lock was immediately placed on it because I used my fiance's credit card, so the billing address differed from the shipping address. We use that credit card in many other online shops and have literally *never* had this problem before. I had to call up Chewy on the phone -- was told I couldn't do it online -- and verify the order, having to recite my name, his name, the shipping address, the billing address, my email, my phone, and the entire contents of the order. I was then told it would be approved in 24 to 48 hours.

    I went to work and then received an email that my order was canceled, so I tried to log in online to check the status of the order and was unable to log in to my account. I clicked "Forgot Password" multiple times and received no password reset email, at which point I decided to call Chewy BACK on the phone to investigate. They told me that the order had been locked and I needed to verify it AGAIN, at which point I had to recite ALL THE SAME INFORMATION again. The customer service rep told me why it was locked (the difference in billing and shipping) and that I would need to wait 24 to 48 hours from *then*, at which point I should finally be able to log back into my account and place the order *again* because it had been canceled entirely. I said that my fiance and I would go elsewhere.

    We ordered dog diapers on Amazon instead and they'll be delivered tomorrow. I've used Chewy a number of times in the past and am sorely disappointed by the difficulty they caused us, making what should have been a simple task a much bigger and more time consuming headache. I would *like* to be a fan of Chewy, but this interaction has put me off ordering from Chewy for a while.

    I support 3 dogs and 2 cats that reside in 3 different addresses. The dogs eat prescription food. One of the dogs lives and travels with me between Florida and TN. I have been using Chewy's autoship for 3+ years for all my pet's needs, shipping to different addresses without a problem. Now Chewy has begun blocking the orders and expecting me to call and review my identity every time an autoship comes up. I was told by a rep this morning that if I cancel the autoships and placed the orders when needed the problems will go away. I did that and Chewy just blocked the 3 orders I placed this morning. No one seems to have a solution. This is unacceptable and unnecessary since my orders are placed AFTER I signed in to my account!

    Placed order, they sent email saying because it had been a year since I ordered from them (I found items locally or online cheaper) I had to reply to email or call them. I replied to email. Got another email saying I had to call. Rude woman asked me a lot of questions, said they would get back to me in 1-2 days. Did live chat today and told they are reviewing and order delayed 3-5 business days. Cancelled order. Appears outsourcing to India. Will be using other more reliable sources or local companies instead of ungrateful Chewy with poor service and treats you like a criminal if you only order once in a while. Guess what, it took you 2 weeks to send the donation to the cat organization but local company is now delivering it to them next day.

    Chewy has been our pet's food, treats and toys main supplier. Recently we lost our almost 13 year old lab Reese. I called to cancel her RX food order and not only did they credit us for the food purchased 2 weeks prior they sent us flowers and a card. The empathy they give to their customers is top rated and we will continue to support this company for years to come.

    My household has multiple people that made an individual account for their own pets, Chewy just cancelled all of our orders because "only 1 person per household can have the new customer discount." A rule that doesn't exist in any of the Terms and Conditions. Customer service did 45min of searching for an explanation only to come back with "It's not anywhere on our site but we can change the terms whenever we like, I'll see if we can update the site in the future".

    I have enjoyed having my dog food delivered consistently to my home until it wasn't. There have been a couple times the dog food bag was broken. Chewy replaced the bag. Recently however, the dog food was unavailable. If an email was sent, it was lost. There wasn't a flag on my account letting me know why I didn't receive the dog food. I had to call and ask and the attendant said they were out of stock. A bag was not sent once they received more product. They simply refunded the order and I was to wait until the following shipment and the attendant could not confirm the product would be there. So there was a chance I would be going another month without the dog food.

    My dog has a special health condition and I need to keep him on this food. I live very remote and so buying this food is challenging, especially around the holidays. The new order is on its way supposedly, but it will be a week later than I had planned. Again, there was no indication that this would be so late. I miss the days of actual customer service. A possible phone call, text message or alert on my account would have been very much appreciated.

    I have been using Chewy.com for many years. They have always delivered my products on time without any issues. I am especially pleased with the customer service. My senior cat passed away, so I called to find out if I could return the food he didn't consume. They let me know that I could donate the food and still get my money back, but most thoughtful of all- they sent me a bouquet of flowers as condolences.     They said they'd ship my prescription the day they got the script from my vet. They didn't and claimed they never do. Then they claimed they sometimes do, then they claimed they had, then that they hadn't tben a "request" was put in but they said that request could be denied. And they're rude. I begged them to just listen to the calls where I was promised overnight shipping and never got a straight answer. Chewy used to be great, now they're not. A new person was put in charge of customer service in 2022. He's from Amazon...go figure.

    I started using Chewy, exclusively, for my pet needs in 2018. Most experiences were positive. However, the last 2 months, they processed my order early, and withdrew money from my account before the scheduled date. Work in my state has been slow, and our budget has been tight. Both times, November and December, right at the holidays, they overdrew my account. They offered less than the overdraft fees as compensation.

    When I asked for a refund, they told me 6 to 10 days, in which I had no way to feed my dogs. Buyer beware. I see no reason for them to arbitrarily ship early, and withdraw funds before the date the buyer approved. This is at best theft, and more likely open embezzlement of customer funds. They have never saved me money, but the convenience of home delivery was awesome. The business model, and failure to provide compensation for their mistakes, and the failure to rectify mistakes, is unacceptable. The agent I spoke with claimed there was no record showing they made any attempt to prevent another early shipment, or early withdrawal from my account. I am more than disappointed with the service I have received the last couple of months.

    I ordered 3 times in the last month, only to have Chewy cancel my orders and refund me, after waiting a week for them to ship. No email. No explanation. Nothing. I contacted them and asked and I received no response via email. Terrible customer service. Save your time and money and shop at a store that values their customers.

    I placed an order with Chewy, after I didn't receive my order I contacted Chewy and I realized that my order was sent to a former address that was still on file. Not only did they delete the old address but, they actually were kind enough to send me a replacement package to the correct address. Any other company would have said too bad your mistake and I would have lost that money. I am still surprised, I have never received such awesome customer service in my entire life. Every time I have placed an order I get my shipment right away! They have great prices, great products, & the best service. I love this company and will continue to order from them in the future.
