    Chewy.com have my pet's food at a lower price than any other place. And the delivery is very quick! I started ordering my pet's food thru this company. It's easy and the prices are great! I once received a bag of dry kitty food, and the bag happened to be open and spilled into the box. I emailed them to mention what had happened, not expecting them to send me another bag. But they DID! Great company!!!

    I've been a Chewy.com customer for several years, and am incredibly impressed with them. This is what an online merchant should be. They have very competitive prices, and their customer service (all English-speaking!) is second to none. They're available 24/7, there's never a wait time and they're all anxious to please, friendly, helpful, courteous and (most importantly) competent. Over the years there have been the occasional problem with breakage, or I've made a mistake when ordering something. The company is always willing - even delighted - to help rectify things. The company could easily serve as a role model for any online merchant. I use them not only for my own pet supplies, but keep my friends stocked up. The company gets a 5-star rating from me, and hopefully they'll continue to do well in the age of Amazon.com.

    Every order we have had there has been an issue with the billing. They attempted to bill a card they had on file that I had removed from the account each time. By the time I realize that they are not shipping our order we then have to buy food to supplement until it arrives. Then it says it is shipping and customer service says they don't ship on that day and that it is only being prepared to ship. Customer service was rude and blamed me for their mistake for their issue with the wrong billing and that their system says it is shipping. Called two separate representatives and neither took the time to resolve the issue. Canceled account and we will be using Amazon or another service.

    Delivery is quick and packed well. However, today when my husband went to lift the bag out of the box, the bag of kibble literally ripped in half and all the kibble ended up on the garage floor. I contacted Chewy and they are replacing the bag free of charge. Amazing!!! I cannot say enough good things about this company. I have 2 large German Shepherds and buying their food has always been something I dreaded. No more running around town looking for their brand of pet food. No more lifting 30lb. bags from pet store to car to home! My deliveries come right on time and the prices are good. I easily make the minimum for free delivery feeding 2 dogs and a cat. I LOVE CHEWY and highly recommend them to all you fur moms & dads. One less thing to stress about!

    I decided to give Chewy.com a try after receiving a $15 off coupon in the mail. I read several reviews on this site and everybody had good stuff to say so far. I placed my order on the internet to have a lot of cat and dog supplies sent to my house. I chose to take advantage of the discount to set up auto ship every month but I wanted it to ship on a specific date and that was not an option on the website so I called the number on the website. A very nice representative was on the line and was able to change the auto ship to a specific date and was very friendly and told me a little bit about the company and even told me about her animals and we talked a little bit about our pets. She also informed me when my items will arrive. Because of the holiday weekend it'll take an extra day. Great experience so far and very convenient to know that the items will arrive at my house and I don't have to go to the store. Give them a try.

    Chewy.com is far above any other I've used, now I won't use any other for pet needs. I find everything I could possibly want at Chewy.com & for a much better price. If the staff doesn't know about something, they will at least tell you they don't know & try to find an answer. Most companies won't admit they don't know & will give you an incorrect response.

    What tipped the scale for me already being fully stocked & honest was compassion for their customers. I had to call in asking about a refund since I lost my rabbit shortly after receiving my order. I explained to the rep that I already donated his treats because I knew they couldn't be returned since I opened the bags & put them in his treat containers. She was SO beyond kind & concerned for my loss, she made sure I got a refund for anything I ordered for my rabbit & told me I didn't have to return any of it. THAT is Way more than I ever expected & now I can donate the rest to someone else in need who may have just rescued a rabbit like I did mine 8 years ago. Thank you Chewy.com!

    When I first joined Chewy I was highly impressed with the great prices, fast shipping and personalized care. Chewy sent us a Christmas card and handwritten (yes, handwritten and signed notes) with our dog's name on special occasions. Later on, I had an issue with my order being delivered when I moved and the carrier had lost the package and would not do anything to resolve the issue. Chewy was fantastic and replaced the order immediately. This not only saved me a headache of back and forth emails/phone calls but ensured that my pet was taken care of! Thank you so much Chewy! I would definitely recommend to other pet owners.

    My fiancé and I have been using Chewy.com to order dog food for about a year now. We would order the food, 2 days later it would be at our doorstep, no problems. Recently, for the first time, we had a shipment problem; not only did we receive our food 3 days late, it was a completely different product than we had ordered. I called Chewy the next day and spoke to Collette. She had great customer service skills, she listened to my complaint and in addition the complaint that due to the delay in puppy food, our puppy had to eat the other adult dogs food, making us have to replace the adult dogs food sooner now. Colette not only replaced the missing puppy food but sent an additional bag of adult dog food for the inconvenience! We were amazed! Great customer service Chewy! Thank you.

    I stupidly ordered the wrong size bag of cat food. I was surprised when a such a huge bag arrived. I contacted Chewy.com, and they refunded the larger size, said to give it to a local shelter or vet office, and gave me free shipping on the proper size cat food bag. What a fantastic company! I will definitely keep using them for all my pet needs, especially since they also carry the water filters for the cat's water dish.

    First, my crate shipped very quickly. When it arrived, I realized what I had ordered was WAY too big. I called the customer service number, and the rep was VERY nice and easy to talk to. I let her know that I would need to order a new crate and she said my refund would be processed within the week. Here's the best part - When I asked how I could return the "too big" one to them, she said it isn't necessary and just to donate it to a shelter or a rescue or someone else who needs one. How awesome is that?!?

    I was first drawn to Chewy because the litter I buy is cheaper than PetSmart. I have come to love this company. I put some items on auto renew and realized it was too much trying to hit the minimum and have it delivered monthly. I was happy that they sent me an email saying my order was about to ship rather than telling me after they already shipped it so I was able to cancel it when I realized I had enough food and litter. The main reason I am writing this review is because I was amazed with how caring they are. My cat was diagnosed with diabetes so I called to return the food I just bought. She was very friendly and ask me about my cat, what his name was as such. What pet parent doesn't love talking about their animal haha. They told me they would refund me and to donate the food to a shelter. I looked it up to see if this is normal behavior for them and it is plus more. I feel they truly care about their customers.

    I have nothing but GOOD experiences with this company! I often send pet supplies to my favorite cat shelter thru direct shipment and Chewy.com has never failed to deliver. Well-operated company!     Our cat needs special food due to him being blocked twice in two years. We have had no incidences since switching full time to a specific type of wet food. We always ordered from Pet Food Direct and never had issues for three years. We went to the website to reorder the food but it automatically brought Chewy.com up. I found out later they "partnered" with Chewy, which means they were bought out. We ordered on there, same price and everything, and then we went on our way.

    Hours later our vet calls, who we don't visit anymore due to the stress our cat endured while going there and in turn what caused him to be blocked, and said that Chewy called them for a prescription for the food. A prescription? We never needed a prescription before, why now? Our vet wouldn't sign off on the food until we came in. Of course we weren't doing that. We called Chewy up and they said they will not ship that specific wet food out without a prescription from our vet. We asked why they are doing this and if the vet gets a kickback now if they prescribe it, the lady on the phone was silent.

    What an annoying policy. Our female cat that has never had health issues also eats this "only prescribed" food and has been fine for years. Our vet in NYC told us it was fine if she ate it. So why is this now all of a sudden a prescribed food? Of course Chewy lost our business. Now we order on Amazon for a few dollars more per order. I'd rather pay the few dollars more than taking my cat to the vet, stress him out, and then pay thousands for another procedure. If I can get the food elsewhere without that hassle, why would I not go that route? Bye bye, Chewy.

    I am physically handicapped. Chewy is a blessing because all the products come to me at exactly the same price as pet stores. I can have a family member bring the cat products in for me. I do not have to depend on a family member to take me to the store. The automatic shipping is a great plus since I forget to order things.

    On multiple occasions I have received 5 star customer service. This site gives Amazon a run for their money. What really made me want to write a review for them is that if something is broken or arrives missing pieces (which happens!) they will replace it no questions asked.     I have been using Chewy for a few years now. I am a dog owner who thinks my dogs are family. They are a very good reliable company that delivers the food and also I can buy toys and other items if needed. I have 3 rotties and if I have any complaints about food or toys they take care of any issue without question. I highly recommend them. But to top it all off I received flowers today from Chewy to Thank me for my Business. I prefer to give my guys table food because I want them to have good quality food but I mix it with commercial dog food and Chewy is fantastic! A great Company that cares about their clients! Love them!!

    Last weekend my 18 month old French Bulldog choked on a edible bone that I had ordered from Chewy.com. I put a review about the item on Chewy.com and I got a call from a customer representative at Chewy. She was very concerned for Charlie. I wanted to make sure he was okay. They refunded me my money for all of the edible treats that I had purchased from them on my last order. Gave me some recommendations on some other items that they would send to me if I wanted to try them. And then a couple days later I got some beautiful flowers from them hoping that Charlie was doing well and that hopefully the flowers would ease my anxiety. That was one of the nicest things that anybody is done for me in a while.

    I had some issues with FedEx delivering my package to the front door. It was left downstairs in the rain. I am a senior and can't carry a 56 pound box upstairs. I notified Chewy and they promptly rectified the situation. They replaced the items at no cost and were extremely helpful. Awesome company. Will keep ordering again.

    I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars with Chewy.com for the past few years. I buy half dozen cases of wet cat and dog food virtually every other month and I have had it with their crushed and severely dented cans. When I called CS they told me their warehouse packs the cases and I told them that their warehouse staff should be fired for selling customers cases that have unusable food cans. They offered to give me some freebies and I declined. Don't trust them anymore. They are selling inferior product and clearly NO quality control at their warehouses. Buyer beware.

    I would highly recommend Chewy.com to anyone with a pet. They definitely go above and beyond. We recently had a beloved cat pass away. I contacted Chewy about returning 2 unopened cases, plus 2 opened cases, short 3 cans. They kindly expressed their condolences and promptly refunded us for 4 complete cases. They also said that we didn't need to return the food, but instead donate it. This really is great customer service! More companies should be like Chewy.com.

    I will no longer be ordering from CHEWY.com. I have two different dog foods I need. Strike 1: The first dog food is no longer offered because the new owners of CHEWY which is PetSmart is not an authorized dealer. Strike 2: The second dog food has been “temporarily” out of stock for over two months – all three size bags. Strike 3: The last time I ordered it took 7 days to deliver and the order quantity was well over the advertised $49. They are no longer competitive on their pricing, it’s less hassle and more convenient to pick it up at a local pet store. I have to go there anyway to pick up the one they no longer carrier so I might as well get the rest of my items from the same store while I’m there.

    I recently, July 26, 2017, ordered a product from Chewy.com. As has been the case the package was not delivered to my door but to the leasing office. I have had several discussions about these deliveries with customer service and was assured that this time it would arrive at my door. In the past my orders have been large and heavy due to the free shipping requirement. I am 69 years old and carrying a 50+ pound package up the stairs is a problem for me. On July 28, 2017 the package was again delivered to the leasing office and not to my door. My apartment is accessible directly from the parking lot and it is safe to leave packages at the door.

    Amazon and UPS have no problem with this. I again called customer service and was informed that even though they stated "Shipped to your door" on the website, it was up to the driver's discretion whether or not to deliver it there. I informed the customer service rep that this was not acceptable and that they should instruct FedEx to pickup the package wherever they left it. I was instructed to leave the package in "plain" sight so FedEx could pick it up. I did not have the package! I told Chewy.com that I did not have the package. At any rate, today the package showed up at my door and I again have to deal with this disreputable company! Do not buy from them, you can purchase the same products elsewhere and get reliable delivery.

    My first experience with Chewy.com was ordering cat food. Later I cancelled autoship by phone and was told it was cancelled. A month later I got an email saying my autoship was ready to be shipped, I called AGAIN and was assured shipment would be stopped and autoship would be cancelled. Next I got email saying package had been shipped. Now I'm getting angry. Called for 3rd time on this issue. They apologized and I was told to not accept shipment from FedEx, which I did. In checking my bank, I saw they had credited the cost of cat food but did not credit the $4.95 shipping charge. Called FOURTH time and agent told me $4.95 would be credited to my account. Way too much time spent on such a simple request. I will not be ordering anything from them ever again.

    I had an awesome experience with Chewy.com's customer service through chat. Kevin ** was extremely tentative, quick to respond, caring, and went above and beyond to fix my CS issue. He asked me questions about my pup and I told him her birthday was the day we spoke, he wished her a happy birthday for me and we had a very positive conversation. Furthermore Kevin took our transaction a step further and hand wrote a birthday card to my pup which was extremely thoughtful and caring of him.     Within the past few months I have had several great experiences with this one-in-a-million company. My first experience was when I responded to their questionnaire and told them that the product "Angel Eyes" did not work well for my dog. They quickly got in touch with me and issued a full refund. Then when I received pads instead of diapers and just asked that I not be charged shipping, they sent the diapers with no charge. And finally, I had ordered a prescription dog food via autoship. Unfortunately I soon had to put my little Angel to sleep and contacted Chewy.com to stop autoship. No problems there. A few days later I received a FedEx package which had a dozen beautiful red roses, a vase, and a beautiful sympathy letter. Yes, Chewy.com is my "go-to" for dog products for life. They are a great company and I would recommend them to anyone who loves their dog(s).

    Let me first mention, I never do reviews for places unless I am very pleased! I have never had a bad purchase or slow shipment from Chewy. I am so happy I found their website. They always seem to have the cheapest prices along with the shipping. The dog food I recently started buying for my dog with allergies was found cheapest on Chewy (with the biggest bag) and you can always sign up for auto shipment. My dog needed a cone to not be able to lick his foot because he had an Acral Lick Granuloma. I found a soft, comfortable, and affordable price of a pillow-like cone for him and it has helped! I also just ordered a dog gate off of Chewy (with some toys for free shipping) and it was cheaper than the price at Walmart! I love ordering off of here instead of Petsmart. It makes me happy to finally find affordable necessities and toys for my dog being a dog mom. I hope others become aware of this great site for their animals. I know I did for my pup!

    OK. The first time I ordered from Chewy, the product arrived in two days, Saturday. The 2nd time, it came in four days. This time, and the last time, I placed my order on Friday 7/21/2017 around noon. I was told it would ship on Saturday with a delivery day of the following WEDNESDAY! I called Chewy and was told FedEx Home, did not deliver on Sunday or Monday but I should have gotten the order Tuesday. And I informed them that FedEx didn't go by their 1-2 day delivery as advertised but did it their own way, taking as long as they wanted. I cancelled the order and went to my local store and bought what I needed for my cat, dog and ten birds. I would not insult my critters by saying Chewy is for the birds because it is false advertising and they should have to change their advertising or make sure the orders go out on time and get the customer in 1-2 days, as advertised.

    Ordered 2 cases of cat food. Package took 10 days to arrive, cans had exploded and there was rotten food and juice spilled all over. Plus, it wasn't even the kind I had ordered! Second package, the "replacement shipment" took 7 days. Cans were extremely dented and again it wasn't even the kind I had ordered! Gross incompetence all around. FedEx told me they have had multiple problems with Chewy shipments as they do not properly pack their items.

    I was on the Chewy.com emailing list and received a flyer for 30% off of American made pet food on July 4th only. I was trying to order a brand that I have bought on numerous occasions that is made in America. When I put it into my cart and proceeded to purchase no discount was given. None. I called customer service and was told that the discount was already applied on that brand. I told them they were mistaken. That is the same price I have paid each time I have purchased it. And that price is also the same price that my local storefront vendor sells it for, actually two of them here in Gainesville Florida. I left them a message via link on the site asking them to unsubscribe me from their mailing list. I also told them I would opt to do business with a local business that would stand behind sale prices that they post in the future.

    I was contacted a day later by someone from customer support who acted excited and concerned and told me that they would straighten it out. I explained the situation and they told me no problem the price online already has the discount. I then told him no that's the regular price and if that's where you're going to leave it then we won't do business anymore. As I said I will opt to do business with local businesses. Better for the community. These guys are definitely not like reputable Florida businesses such as Publix or CVS or numerous others that will stand behind a price they post even if on second look they don't like the discount they claimed they would give you or made a mistake. For Pete's sake we're talking about the profit on a bag of dog food. One bag of dog food and losing a customer. Poor business practice.

    Chewy.com is always on time with their product, prices are better than pet stores. But mostly they have a great customer service. Recently my dog passed away and I had an unopened bag of dog food I wanted to return. I call and asked about their return policy and (of course) explained my situation. I spoke to a gentleman named Kurt, he was caring, asked about my dog, told me a little about his childhood dog and at one point we got disconnected and he called me back within a timely manner. By the time we got off the phone not only did he refund my money but also let me keep the dog food and suggested I donate it to a local pet charity (I did). Two days later I received flowers, from Chewy, for my loss. This was not only unexpected but the extra thoughtfulness and effort was greatly appreciated!

    Customer service via their chat was super quick. No dumb questions or wasted time. Plus, I was multitasking and forgot to respond for 5 or more minutes at least twice... they didn't disconnect the convo and didn't ask me if I was still there. They waited patiently until I remembered to get back over there and respond. I got in touch to return some unopened cans of dog food because my puppy is allergic. They refunded me for the number of cans I wanted to send back and when I asked where to send the cans, they said, "we won't ask you to ship it back to us, we would just ask that you donate it to a shelter in your area."     Chewy is amazing. I put an order in and the next day it’s at my door. Free shipping. The most recent awesomeness I experienced was Andre from customer service helped me. I called in to cancel one item from my order and he said since it’s already out for shipment I should donate that item to my local animal shelter and they still refunded my money for that item. Chewy is amazing and I'm a lifelong customer!!!

    They have an ad that states free shipping. Always not true. Only over $49. Called this morning and they did refund but how much have they made from folks that won't call. They acknowledge the ad is misleading but if you don’t call they're not offering to refund. Not good practice. With the shipping their dog food costs more than buying at Walmart. Although they responded appropriately I will no longer be using them.

    CHEWY.COM was once a competitive company... WAS. I have 12 rescues and order food three times a month. Their prices have skyrocketed. Greenies up almost 5 dollar a box. Their excuse... "we want to be in line with the stores"... wrong answer. They BRAG about convenience and cheap prices. Don't be fooled, they are no longer the best company with good prices. Going elsewhere now.

    I have had a couple of issues with Chewy's Autoship. When I called they were very pleasant and resolved the issues immediately. The last time I had forgotten to cancel my autoship due to having a triple bypass of my heart. When I had called the person on the other end (I'm sorry I can't remember her name) told me that she was very sorry that that had happened. She refunded all of the money from the order and said that when the order arrived I could either keep it or donate it (I donated it to my local shelter).

    The refund popped two days later. About a week after the phone call I received a get well soon card from them (Chewy) with a statement of, "If there is anything we can do to help with your pets..." I can't tell you how much this kind of support from a web based company means to me. I will never consider going to any other site or service anymore. Thanks to all the folks at Chewy (I would have left this review on their site but they don't have a review of their service on the site). You guys are the best!

    Extremely happy with the service that I have received from chewy.com. I ordered shock collars. I was missing the control for one of them and the prongs weren't long enough for my smaller dog and I cannot buy a bigger one because how much he weighs. After letting Chewy know that the one shock collar would not fit my dog they asked me to please donate it to my local animal shelter which I gladly did and that they would reimburse me the full amount for both of the collars and they sure enough did.

    They then asked for a picture of my dogs and when I came home today they had portraits made of them. This is the most amazing customer service I have ever received. I give them 5 stars but I wish I could give them a million. I love my babies and will cherish the portraits forever. Thank you so much for going above and beyond and for donating to our local shelters??? Very impressed and they have gained several loyal customers. Shared my experience on Facebook as well.

    I had ordered a bag of dog food and it was shipped out as promised. FedEx on the other hand showed that they had delivered it to the correct address on the date it was supposed to be delivered. The problem was that my wife and I were home all day and FedEx never showed up. The tracking information showed that it was left at the front door (no signature required). Upon looking around and at the in-laws house the package was nowhere to be found.

    I called FedEx to have them track it and then sent Chewy.com an email just so they knew what was going on with the package. The next morning I received an email from Chewy.com apologizing and stating they will be shipping out a replacement order at no charge. Every time a carrier has mis-delivered or not delivered an item at all it’s normally a big song and dance to resolve the issue either with the vendor or the carrier. With customer service like this Chewy.com will most certainly be getting more business from me.

    I've ordered a few times with Chewy, two of the times plus today. DELIVERY BLOWS.. It comes from FedEx. And I will now stop ordering from Chewy because if they can't deliver it to my house then I will order from Amazon because I get everything delivered from them. Chewy needs to stop using this FedEx place. They are not delivering. And so to me, they are keeping it themselves. Yes Chewy sent it again but I cannot be the only one not getting my dog food. FedEx is a BAD JOKE...

    We're all human and mistakes happen. Not everyone clears those mistakes equally. Chewy.com addressed and got the ball rolling for a solution in 7 minutes via email. Seriously, by the time I could put everything away and tell my wife what was missing, the email was there waiting for me. I recently made an order for a couple bags of hard cat food and a few boxes of wet cat food, received it a couple days later, but one of the bags and some of the pouches were missing from the shipment.

    I emailed chewy.com, provided the appropriate information (shipment #, what was ordered and what was received). Hailey at chewy.com acknowledged that the mistake was possible in shipping, the missing items were shipped (and provided the replacement order number) and that the shipment will be a little delayed because of the July 4th holiday.     I've been a customer of Chewy.com for a few years. My German Shepherd, Ace recently passed away. I had just received a full bag of dog food & treats that I didn't even get a chance to open. I called to return the unopened items & they asked me to donate the food/treats to my local animal shelter. They credited my Visa account for the full amount! It's been over a week since my baby dog passed & today I received flowers from Chewy.com with a beautiful message! I can't believe how kind they are to their customers - you don't find companies like this anymore.

    Aside from their kindness, their customer service and prices are great! If anything is received damaged, they don't even question it - they just send out a new product.     I purchased a case of 24 cans of cat food and after receiving it my cat decided it was not a food that she liked. I left a 5 star review for the food itself but recommended finding somewhere that sold individual cans of the food. I hadn't looked into returning the food because their return policy stated the items be intact and I had already used a can. A couple days after leaving that review I received an email saying I would be refunded and they didn't even ask for me to return the product! Amazing company!

    I pulled up my account to get a shipping confirmation after placing an auto ship order for 2 large bags of dog food. I called customer service after discovering I had no pending orders in my account. Customer service advised they me called two days after me placing my order "to confirm my shipping address". I did NOT receive a phone call from anyone and did not receive any message advising of the cancellation. Customer service did not seem the least bit concerned and I told them since I didn't have any pending orders to just leave it as is and I'll continue to buy from grocery store. She never offered to reinstate my auto ship order and said goodbye.

    I just wanted to take a minute to say what a fantastic company Chewy.com is. I recently adopted two yorkie puppies and ordered two different kinds of harnesses for them on the chewy.com website. One pup is very tiny (the runt) while the other is normal size. One of the harnesses I tried was easier to put on the pups so I wanted to return the other one and order a second of the harness I preferred. Not only did Chewy.com's customer service make it easy for me to order the additional harness, they waived the shipping fee and told me to donate the other harness to a local shelter instead of returning it.     I normally don't write reviews, but after dealing with a hellish day of in-store returns, my last return of the day completely WOW'd me. I called the customer service # to return a harness I got for my cat. I was ecstatic to not only find that I got through to a REAL PERSON right away, but that they were a genuinely kind, efficient person! I explained the reason for my call, they asked for my phone #, immediately pulled up my account, and said my refund would be issued in 3-5 days. To top it off, they told me not to worry about returning the item and that I could simply take it to my nearest animal shelter/pet drive.     My experience with Chewy.com has been the best I have ever experienced with either a big box, small chain, privately owned or online store. They had my products in stock and shipping was as indicated on their website. My 12 year old Cocker developed kidney problems and had to go on KD food. He would not eat the KD so I ordered some wet food I knew he would eat. He passed away before the food was gone. Chewy reimbursed me for all of the unused food when I let them know Maverick had passed. I had emails from a few different members of the Chewy family and all of them expressed their condolences in their own way. They are the most caring and compassionate group I have ever dealt with.

    I have literally never written a review for a company but felt like Chewy needed to be recognized for excellent customer service. I have to buy special frozen food for my dog's allergies and the store near my home that sells it recently closed. It's become increasingly harder to find places in a convenient place to buy the food so I decided to try ordering online. The first shipment with Chewy was fine and as expected. I was excited about the free shipping and it got here really quickly - Which was great because I was almost out of food. The food arrived well packaged in dry ice to preserve the frozen food.

    Shortly after my second order I received a phone call from Chewy informing me that my package was marked as "Delayed in transit" by FedEx. They explained that they didn't want to risk the food being compromised (Thawing out) because of the delay so they sent out a fresh bag. They called me at 3:40 pm on Tuesday, followed up with an email and I received the food by 10 am on Wednesday. If you're skeptical about ordering pet food online or unsure about trying Chewy.com, don't be. You won't be disappointed.

    I first ordered from Chewy to get a vitamin powder called Nupro for our dog. We were happy with it, the results of it and our dog liked it. We were buying Blue Buffalo from PetSmart but then they stopped carrying the kind she liked. Bought another flavor but she spits the tiny little pieces and doesn't seem to like it.     I've been a customer for a long while now. Before them I got all my pet products from a small family owned store. I was given their name by the owner when he decided to close after over 30-40 yrs & becoming ill. I knew I was being left in great hands. Chewy.com cares a lot about their customers. They go above & beyond to satisfy you. I just had a situation where FedEx decided to wrote up they tried to deliver & I was not home which was a complete lie. I told Chewy.com via email & they replied quickly. They contacted FedEx on my behalf (though I already did). Doing that I know helped how the story ended.

    The manager of that FedEx station drove my package to me in his own vehicle since the driver signed out early. Wow!     Placed an order for $393.00 for cat food. One of the items were not in the warehouse so my credit card was charged again for the amount of the missing product to have it shipped from Texas. I was told they put a hold on my card (without my knowledge) basically paying for that item twice until they removed the hold. Why am I getting double charged for something I already paid for. Two. Chewy refunded me for the food I did not use and asked I donate it. What? I have never had such a hassle free experience. They are quick to respond whether it is email or just calling in. Then I went to place and order and start an auto ship and it did not take off the discount. Called in and phone was answered by a real person? Harrison to be exact.     I'm not really sure where to begin with this company. I have been ordering prescription dog food for my dog Jewlz since she had to be put on a renal diet. They were overly accommodating throughout the process of trying to find the right food for her, if I ordered one she wouldn't eat, they would refund me and ask that I donate the food to a local shelter (which speaks volumes in both customer service and their love of animals). Shipping was always fast and my order was always correct.

    Last week I received a case of food for my dog, and unfortunately she passed away last week which left me with a case of food that was not only not needed anymore, but hard to look at. I contacted customer service and immediately got a heartfelt email along with a refund for the case of food. I arrived home from work yesterday to find a beautiful floral arrangement on my front steps, and when I looked at the card it was from Kathryn and the rest of the team at Chewy. This literally brought tears to my eyes, I have never experienced such kindness and compassion from people I have never met. Thank you, everyone at Chewy!

    I never wrote any review, but I was looking everywhere, trying to write a review for Chewy.com. I admit I am a french dog, but Chewy is a perfect pet food company and I am 100 percent satisfied with them. l ordered three boxes (12 cases in each one) a week ago. I used one can out of two boxes, and left one box untouched. However, I did not like the product, so I was calling Chewy's customer services on SATURDAY 6PM, and I also thought I might not be able to return all three boxes since two of them are opened. It took literally 1 second for the customer representative to pick up the call, and it took 1 minute for me to return everything. Not only they offer to pay for the shipping, but also they said I can donate these products to local shelters if I want to. This is just one of the many good experience with Chewy.     I recently placed an order through Chewy - my first, as I had a $15 coupon. Order was placed on a Thursday, and the item was shipped before the day was over. FedEx Ground tracking showed that the package was delivered to my home on Friday at 1:30PM. The problem? I did not receive it... It rained Friday night and all day Saturday. Saturday evening, my doorbell rang, and a neighbor from three blocks away handed me a saturated package from Chewy.com, stating it had been delivered to his home in error. He was all apologies for handing me a wet package, but I assured him it was not his fault.

    In the meantime, I had contacted Chewy.com to let them know that despite the tracking showing delivery, I didn't have the package. Their immediate response was a heartfelt apology, and a tracking number for a replacement package. I subsequently advised them that FedEx mis-delivered the package, and a replacement was not necessary, but they insisted, citing the potential for water damage to the original package. My not receiving the package was entirely the fault of the FedEx driver, yet Chewy cared enough to make sure I was "made whole", and satisfied. In short, I am. I have given up on the big box pet stores, and will be placing my dog food and supply orders with Chewy. Finally, a company that practices what they preach in customer service.

    I have had a wonderful experience with ordering from Chewy for my dog. First of all the diet he was required to be on, could only be bought on line. No retailer in my area sold it. Secondly, I was able to change the automatic delivery very easily as his appetite diminished and it did arrive on the date that I wanted it to. I never experienced expired food. I have nothing but great and wonderful things to say about this company. Then when my best friend passed away I was devastated, but had to inform them to take me off the automatic shipping program. They were so understanding, compassionate to me they even sent me a lovely bouquet of flowers. I cried my heart out. You can't ask for better service. Thank you Chewy for always being here for me.

    I very rarely write reviews, positive or negative. When I deal with a company, I expect to receive good service so do not feel the need to write a positive review when a company lives up to what they are supposed to do. With Chewy, I had to write this review. I cannot say enough good things about Chewy. When my wife wanted to give Chewy a try, I did not understand why we could not just continue to buy our dog's food at the supermarket or pet store as we have done for the past 15 years. We took advantage of Chewy's free shipping and excellent prices and received the food within a few days - we were hooked by their service and selection.

    Our dog became ill so we started feeding her more specialized food and we ordered some frozen meat to feed her different foods. The frozen meat came in a very well packed box with ice within 2 days. Unfortunately, our Millie, passed away this past week and we had a lot of unopened food left so we called Chewy and asked if we could return the food. They told us to donate the food to an animal shelter and they would refund us the entire amount of the last order. What great service!!! To our surprise, yesterday, we received a flower arrangement from Chewy for the loss of Millie. Unbelievable!!! The way Chewy treats their customers and provides a service is the way a successful company should be and other companies could learn a lesson from them.     I'm a first time buyer from Chewy.com and I'm very happy with their prices and extremely fast delivery. I ordered one day and received my order the very next day. I bought two 20lbs jugs of cat litter, two Skin & Itch for cats and an eleven pound bag of Beyond cat food all for $64.34. This is half of what I would have paid at my local pet shop or Walmart.     I ordered a flea and tick collar from Chewy on the recommendation of my dog walker. Within 12 hours, it was obvious she had a reaction to it. The Customer Service Representative told me I would received a credit within 3-5 days, and when I asked about returning it, she told me to donate it to a shelter.     Chewy.com is absolutely amazing. I have ordered at least 5 times in the past few months and love the prompt (and free) shipping. I accidentally ordered the incorrect cat food and quickly called to cancel my order. Customer service was quick to try and stop the shipment as well as credit my money back. The next day I saw that FedEx was still delivering the canceled goods and recontacted them and asked how I should return it and they told me to keep it and donate it to a local shelter.     Like many of the reviews I've read here, I am in total awe of the customer service Chewy.com provided. I bought replacements for my doggie doors (two different sizes) before finding out I ordered the wrong brand, which they at the time did not sell. They refunded my money, and said I could donate to a shelter rather than taking the effort to return via FedEx. I told them it was no problem, and they emailed me a shipping label (no cost to me) within seconds! I will check with the local shelters, but I'm not certain doggie doors are something that they are looking for. The young man on the phone was very helpful and very nice. In these days of dealing with "customer service" from airline, cable, and phone companies, this company knows what the real deal is. I will definitely be doing business with them again!

    I just ordered a 42" dog crate from chewy.com. Two days later I realized that I ordered a size too large. I called Chewy to ask if I could stop the order and exchange it for the proper size or how best to handle it. Since the crate was already in transit, the customer service rep said they would refund my money and process my order for proper size crate (also waived shipping on the new order even though it was below the free shipping min). And rather than returning the wrong crate, he asked if I would do him a favor and donate it to a local shelter. So I got my money back and the free crate to donate!     I have been their customer for a while now and they continue to amaze me every time. Their customer service is the best I have encountered from a company, I think ever. I recently order some shoes for my dog and when they arrived they were too big on him. I got very worried about returning them because they were kinda expensive ($53).

    I went on their chat and within 30 seconds I was speaking to someone (this is great because some companies that have the option of chatting, never actually have anyone respond.     On two separate occasions, I was sold dog treats that expired 4 years ago. On 1/13/17, I purchased several items from Chewy.com including Fromm Family Grain-Free Salmon Dog Treats. When the dog treats arrived, I fed my two dogs one treat each. They both became violently ill, vomiting and defecating several times. I then checked the expiration date on the dog treats and found that they had expired in 2013! I immediately called Chewy.com and they asked for a photo of the expired treats, which I promptly provided. I insisted that they throw the expired product out, as it makes dogs sick. They apologized profusely and assured me the treats would be removed from the shelves.

    On 3/27/17, I placed another order, and it again included Fromm Family Grain-Free Salmon Dog Treats. Again the treats arrived having expired in 2013. Chewy.com is purposely selling expired dog food to make a quick profit, and they must be stopped before dogs start dying. I will not withdraw this complaint until Chewy.com provides photographic evidence that they have actually pulled the expired dog treats from their shelves and disposed of it.

    I had ordered an anti bark (citronella) collar for my dog that I didn't have to use, and didn't open the package. I called customer service and instead of making me go to the trouble of printing a shipping label and sending it back to them, then waiting for a refund, they told me they will issue and refund and I should donate the collar to an animal shelter or organization. I love that I can order big bags of dry dog and cat food, and cat litter online and they deliver it right to my door - it couldn't be more convenient!     Over the summer I adopted a cat and I have been trying to find a food she likes. Spending countless dollars on food in random pet stores only to throw them away after she doesn't like them.     I could go on and on about how responsive the folks at Chewy.com have been to every issue I've brought to them, but it would fill a book. We have two dogs and a cat. One dog and the cat are on veterinary-prescribed diets. Not only are Chewy.com's prices very competitive, but they ship within hours of order placement, ship at no cost, and the shipments arrive in one day. I recently purchased an $85 order of Rx food for the cat. The very day it arrived, the cat was at the vet with a new medical issue, requiring a change of diet, meaning the shipment just received could no longer be used.

    Contacted Chewy.com to ask if I could return it. Yes, no problem. Asked if they could estimate how much it would cost to ship it back to them, because if the cost was too great, I'd just donate the food to a local animal shelter or rescue organization instead. They told me, first, they would NEVER let me pay for return shipping, they'd pay for it. Then, second, they suggested I just donate the unopened package of food to our pet shelter, not return it at all, and they'd credit the full cost of the purchase back to my credit card. Which they DID. I was stunned. They ate the $85 cost of this shipment, and asked me to donate it. Unbelievable.

    Then we had issues with the vet not properly confirming the new Rx for the new feline diet, plus another Rx at the same time for the canine diet, and Chewy.com called the vet themselves to verify the Rx in both cases, two separate times, so that I didn't have to bother with it. They called back within 5 minutes each time to say they had the vet's approval, the shipment was on the way, the shipments arrived the next day. Just tell me where you can find such incredible attention to customer needs. Anywhere.

    I am so used to dealing with customer service representatives who are not helpful, make excuses, don't know what they're talking about, don't know their own company's policies, can't follow through on anything -- and then there's Chewy.com, where every single issue is quickly resolved, courteously attended to, with humor and good grace and care and concern. FOR THE PETS, most of all. I will always turn to Chewy.com for purchases when possible. They are and will be my FIRST CHOICE.

    Also, I have a very close friend who began using Chewy.com after I told her about them... She RAVES about the customer service, and thanks me all the time for telling her about them. This is one professional outfit and I would urge anyone and everyone to give them a try. 100%. I see some of these negative or "not so good" reviews of Chewy.com and I must tell you, after dealing with them for a couple years now, I do not believe one word of what these reviewers write. Only because I have had a 100% positive experience, no exceptions, with Chewy.com from the first day. I'm sorry. They can't be treating me this well and have it be an anomaly.     I frequent the Dog Food Advisor website which is like the Consumer Reports of dog food. Chewy sells many of the 5 star rated brands that you won't find at Petco, and for the ones that Petco does stock like Solid Gold or Blue Buffalo - Chewy sells it cheaper. I got 20% off a 24lb bag of Solid Gold for trying the autoship function (don't worry, you can delay autoship orders from happening indefinitely or remove it entirely, so just take advantage of the discount).

    Then I made an ultimate discovery: American Journey. A 5 star rated brand apparently owned by Chewy, relatively new, and Chewy frequently offers you 50% off your first bag. So I put it in my cart and bought a 28lb bag of dog food for $20. Mind you, my orders always have the free shipping. Chewy estimates the $49 free shipping requirement BEFORE any sales are applied, so the American Journey original price of 39.99 plus 10 bucks of other items met the shipping requirement, ultimately paying 30 bucks for my dog food and miscellaneous treats or shampoo.

    After I placed this order I noticed that if I check American Journey food products daily, one day (twice in the same week) Chewy randomly marked it on sale again for 50% off first bag, so I did it again. I got a 2nd bag of 28lbs dog food for 20 bucks. Hey if they want to keep selling me one bag at a time for 20 bucks, I will keep ordering when their mood strikes to put it on sale. This is the most economical dog food I have found without compromising quality. And if your dog is a picky eater, you can make them eat any dog food by coating in chicken broth or sprinkling kelp/seaweed etc.

    Chewy allows me to shop smart for my animals and they eat the cost of FedEx shipping straight to my door. I've seen reviews on here regarding mishandled credit card info - hasn't happened to me yet and I'll keep an eye out. But so far so good as long as I always check out with $49 or more of product original price but I wait for stuff to come on sale and I don't pay that amount. Autoship can also be exploited for additional 10% off as long as you don't mind clicking in your phone to manage and put off future shipments indefinitely. Basically getting 60% off American Journey dog food.

    I have had very good interactions with Chewy.com. They have a huge selection of dog food, including food that I would have to get directly from my vet (BIG $$$). Shipping is ok. It's no Amazon.     I ordered a bird cage for my daughter for Christmas & received it quickly. It was only 2 or 3 days before Christmas so I wrapped the box & put it under the tree without opening it.     They have 1-2 day shipping posted all over their website for items over $49 to be automatically applied at checkout (they don't give you a shipping option). Ordered a $79 item only to find out they shipped it via the slowest snail mail possible. It took over a week for my item to arrive long after it was expected ruining the surprise gift it was going to be. Checked their website but there was no fine print or reasoning for the delayed shipment. After calling their customer service they had no justification for the delayed shipping other than it had to ship from a certain location.     I recently moved. I went online and changed my address on the chewy.com website. It should be that simple right? It was not. After three days the delivery of food for my little yorkie Jack still had not arrived. I called the toll free number. I was told that they were so sorry, and that they would give me a $10 credit for the mix up. They also said that there were two different sites that I had to go to to change my delivery address! What??? I patiently took the time, talked to the lady, and updated my address. She explained that another delivery of food was being sent out right away. 4 days later? Still NO FOOD DELIVERY! I called again, only to be told that the order was mysteriously lost and they had no idea where Jack's dog food was. WOW!

    Again, they apologized, and promised his food would be here by three days. Three days later? NO FOOD! I checked my email, and carefully looked at the tracking on the order, and guess what? THEY SENT IT TO THE OLD ADDRESS AGAIN!!! This time I was extremely frustrated. I called again. I expressed my displeasure with the whole experience, and even more disappointed that they just couldn't seem to get it right. I was told that they were very sorry and that they would be sending the order out AGAIN right away. I pressed for clarification on the delivery address. I was assured that the old address had been completely removed and that a new order of food was on the way. I guess it won't be until next week since this is a Friday. What a mess.     I remember a strange time, the so-called 'good old days' when, in my ignorance, I paid more to do all the work myself. Happily, those days are gone for good! With 2 dogs of our own and a steady stream of fosters, I once felt as if I were at the pet store constantly, wincing at the prices and lugging 30 lb. bags of food.     Chewy.com knows how to do customer service right! There was a minor problem with our autoship order (the first problem we've had in over two years of ordering from them). I called customer service at 7pm on a Sunday night yet was able to get to a live person immediately, and she completely resolved the issue in less than 3 minutes. No matter what company you use, simple mistakes will occasionally happen -- what matters is how the company handles that mistake, and Chewy.com handles it well.

    I've had one other occasion to call customer service. I misread the ship date on my autoship order and thought we had missed a shipment. I realized my error while I was on the phone with the customer service agent, apologized, and told him there was no problem after all.     Chewy I order filter for my fish tank Saturday Feb 5, came in next day. Sunday I did a quarter water change put new filters in etc. Monday get home from work noticed my clown loach was dead and my 2 goldfish weren't doing so good either. So I treat my tank with tetra lifeguard. Well it's now Wednesday and I've lost both my goldfish I have had for 7 yrs. I really upset my fish were fine and healthy.     So I ordered ** tablets from Chewy.com. The box arrived, and when I opened it, it was empty, nothing but the paper filling. I was about to contact Chewy.com, but I thought, maybe I should double check, just to be sure I wasn't missing it.     The best company I've ever purchased from!!! I rescued my Great Dane mix 8 months ago and was tired of spending an astronomical amount of money on his food every month and not being able to find what I always needed for him in pet stores. I discovered Chewy.com a couple months after rescuing my dog Maverick. I was absolutely amazed and beyond impressed by the amount of things you can find on their website. There has not been one thing I couldn't find for my dog. I've enrolled in autoship to receive my dog's food and other items monthly. It is so convenient and my order is shipped and received very quickly. FedEx can be a bit frustrating from time but that is no fault on Chewy.com part.

    I've only had to contact customer service once in the last 8 months and it had nothing to do with my order. I purchased the wrong size booties for my dog and was just calling to return them. The customer service was fantastic!!! He was super friendly and instead of me dealing with returning my item he offered for me to donate my booties and immediately refunded my money.     I've used Chewy to order prescription dog food for my senior yellow lab for a few years. I've always received my order promptly. The last order I made I traced the package (2-25 lb bags of dog food) and FedEx indicated it had been delivered. It had not and my husband was home on the supposed delivery date. I contacted FedEx who were very nice and thoughtful. I even received a call from someone at FedEx saying they were looking into the matter and I should hear from them in 2 days. Well, 2 days came and went and I heard nothing.

    I decided to contact Chewy to see if they could help on their end. I contacted them through their online chat. Without missing a beat they said they were sending another order out to me. They also advised if I received the original order that I should keep the dog food or, if it was more than I needed, I could donate it. No additional charge to me beyond what I paid for the original order. That is what I call customer service. I've always been a huge fan of Chewy but they are top on my list for a lifetime.     I ordered two in stock items at 8 am on Thursday. One item arrived 2 days later but the second item, the one I really needed ASAP, arrived 6 days later. When contacted, Chewy tried to blame me for the delay saying I need to order sooner. When I provided all the details including FedEx report that the second item was shipped 3 days after the first, they had no answer except sorry.     I love this website. Most things are significantly cheaper than the competition. They usually have free shipping over $50 and it never takes more than a day or 2 to arrive.     I have been using Chewy.com for about a year now. While they are convenient to get everything shipped in one order or two to your house, they are highly undependable. The one consistent thing about Chewy is that they are inconsistent. Cat litter comes with holes in it, spills in my house, things are delivered to my Leasing Office when they are supposed to come to my apartment building (due to my back and elbow injuries), they can't find things in transit, etc. Literally every time I place an order with them, there is SOME issue that I have to call and follow up on. Who's got time for that? It's never just dependable, which I wish it were. If there were another service I knew of, I would switch to them. For now, I'm stuck with Chewy, because I don't have a car, and my injuries make it impossible to carry heavy items. They are always nice in emails and phone calls, but still, it's maddening. Just saying.

    This company is really nice to deal with. When I called with questions this morning, I got a rep on the 2nd ring. She was very courteous and was willing to work with me to set up auto-ship every 12 months for an additional 5% off halo & wellness cat food. She also told me that their stock sells out every 2 weeks so I wouldn't get stuck with old almost expired stock (like I did with PetFoodDirect). They also offered me free shipping and they don't charge California sales tax on online orders (unlike PetFoodDirect). When you get a company that goes out of its way to be helpful and offers the best pricing it doesn't make sense to even consider going anywhere else. Try them out, you & your pet will be very happy!

    Last year I changed my dog's food and he apparently was allergic or sensitive to it with out-of-control itching. I called Chewy to order something different. They comped it and suggested we donate the original bag (which we did). No hassle at all. This year, our order was delayed because of weather and we were about out. Chewy suggested we buy a small bag to tide us over and credited us for it. I was impressed beyond belief! But wait, there's more... We'd driven from CO to FL last weekend and I changed the shipping address beforehand, timing things so Louie's food would get here at the same time as us. Not only was it hung up by the weather, but the address wasn't changed on autoship (my bad?) and Chewy shipped a second bag to us in FL at no charge. No one - and I repeat NO ONE - has comparable customer service.

    When I have had problems with the product, the delivery, the condition of the delivery, they have been knowledgeable and tried to be accommodating. They have a great inventory and the service staff is very friendly, but delivery can be a problem. I live in the San Antonio, TX area - a big city - and what they promise as 1-2 days on their website is always 2-4 days or longer. When asked, they have no answer for this delivery time difference. Can be quite frustrating when ordering repeating, ongoing products like dog food.

    I had originally ordered a medication for my Pug Daisy. It stated that it was a chewable in the description. When I received the meds my Pug would not take them. I called to see what my options were and the person I talked to was SO HELPFUL!!! I didn't have to return the item and they gave me a full refund and also sent me another package with no shipping charge!!! The person I talked to said it would take possibly 5 days to get my refund. It only took one and he said that I should receive my package within 3 to 4 days and I have already received that also!!!     I have never experienced the kind of customer service that I have with Chewy! Every time that I bought anything from them and didn't like it, I was either compensated or told to keep the product and pay the difference of another product. They sent me a card welcoming us and Christmas cards as well. When I sent them a picture of my pet in her new little home that I purchased, weeks later they surprised me with a small handmade painting that was a perfect image of her!     I first purchased from this business in 2014. Excellent customer service, as advertised delivery on time. Last year they switched from ups to fed ex. Well first of all fed ex failed to put my purchase on the porch, I was spoiled by ups. It ended up by the trash can by the basement door. It did rain on one occasion and Chewy did replace the item. Now Chewy takes longer to get my orders out on time. I can expect at least a 3 day delivery estimate so far this year. Oh don't even try getting prescription food. So sad this company is failing to rise to better customer service. Must have changed company policies? Management?

    Awful customer service through chat. I had asked if they can place an order for me on chat and they said sure. Asked many questions to then tell me that I will need to call. I called, spoke to a manager there to tell them they have to train their reps better and she said YEP. She then decided to tell me she can't place my order because my card is linked to another account? Makes no sense why if I am buying something they won't take my order because I have two accounts. One is for me and one is for my sister. She simply stated since I already had an account I can't open up a different account because they will watch out for my order and cancel it. Nowhere on their site does it say you cannot have multiple accounts. How dare they refuse my purchase.

    The customer service is great. My pet is new so I have to call all of the time and ask for suggestions on different things for my dogs. They are great and I thank them for their time.     I can't speak as to customer service, but it was very easy to use the website! I have heard good things from other people though. I hear that if there is a problem it is usually taken care of very quickly. I went to the site looking for an obscure cat food as my cat has very bad allergies, and can eat very few brands, but I found it at Chewy.com, and it arrived in great condition. Great prices, often costs less than Amazon, even with Amazon's free shipping, especially now that they have raised the ceiling from $35 to $49. Easy to read the descriptions on the site and compare foods, good use of photos of the packages. Would definitely recommend for research.

    I had no direct contact with their customer service department. That was a good thing as my products arrived on time and in great shape.     I was asked if I needed help, I told them what I specifically wanted, they then gave me multiple choices with varying prices, but also gave me a brief pro & con of each.     Efficient, courteous, knowledge, overall satisfied. The sales person was very nice explaining the different foods for my pet, between the dinner variety and the great selection I was able to choose good quality items... Also I was able to choose different toys for my dog, which he loved very much. I choose different toys for my dog and cat, balls, stuff animals, teeth cleaning, chewy treats, different treats for in between dinner. Great tasty snacks. The value overall is fair and I will shop again. It is important for me to choose a company that my pets like not only for toys but also for food. I am happy that I have never had to engage their customer service as I have never encountered any problems. They have a great selection of high quality name brand products to choose from.
