    While on a road trip away from home with my dog I received a call that my grandmother was dying - I needed a pet carrier urgently for our flight to grandma's house. When the delivery service did not arrive on time, not only did Chewy give me a full, no questions asked, refund but they also donated the pet carrier to the local animal shelter.     I have been ordering dog products, bird products and cat products from this company for approximately six years now and their service has been exceptional. I usually order online but if I have to call-in anyone you speak to is exceptionally knowledgeable, extremely nice and lovely to speak to. Their shipping is always fast. Usually two days and usually cheaper than what you can get it in any store. I'll never anything from anybody else and I always recommend it to all my friends. If you ever have a question you call them, they take their time with you and they will answer all your questions. I love Chewy, I had one of my dogs die and they found out about it and they sent me flowers, you cannot find any other business that will do that, and that's the truth. Oh by the way if you're shipping is over $49 your shipping is always free!

    After several years using Petfooddirect.com for my pets' needs, that company closed and accounts were directed to Chewy. Since then, I have repeatedly experienced problems with items that were not properly packaged. The boxes were too big, with no packing material to keep the product from moving, or were too small and split at the corners. Strong packing tape was not used, and the cellophane tape was frequently ripped. Often, the tape didn't even cover the opening in the box but was just slapped on haphazardly. I have complained several times by phone.

    Customer service has been unfailing polite, and damaged goods have been replaced. Other than the packaging, I am satisfied with the company, since their prices are reasonable, delivery is prompt, and there is good variety of products. But I am ready to stop using the company because of the problems with packaging. Despite regular complaints, there is no noticeable improvement, with at least half of my orders arriving damaged. The last one I received about three weeks ago had one bag (of three) of cat litter that was ripped, but I managed to salvage most of it and didn't complain.

    But the package that arrived today was worse even than usual. I immediately saw that the box was damaged, but the tape was mostly intact and nothing was leaking out, so I took it to my apartment without mishap. But when I opened it, I wound up with cat litter all over my floor. One of the bags had a large crossways slit in it, and about half the litter had spilled out. Also in the package was a container of Temptations cat treats, which are packaged at the factory in a very sturdy hard-plastic canister, that is sealed with a very sturdy plastic adhesive strip across the top.

    Under the lid is another clear flexible plastic cover that is to be removed so that the treats are accessible through a little flap in the lid. The container had obviously been crushed, and then there were several cracks down the side. Where the lid was supposed to be on the top, the strip that holds it on was damaged, and the lid was broken. Even the inside plastic film was ripped, and some of the litter from the ripped bag had gotten inside the treats.

    I am a senior citizen with some mobility problems, and rely on the internet for the bulk of my shopping. Chewy is the only merchant who has presented this kind of chronic problems. This also adds to the problem of having to clean up the mess when cat litter gets all over my floor. I'd like to stay with Chewy, but am afraid I will have to change. Now I see from other reviews that Chewy has been bought by PetSmart, which means I should beware of switching to that company.

    I loved Chewy so I'm actually really disappointed to be leaving this review but I don't want someone to end up in my situation. I've ordered from them at least ten times and they were usually good. Recently, I'd say the last three times, have been horrible. The cat food bag came ripped. And in another order, the litter box top was off so litter spilled everywhere in my house. The package it came in was really beat up and the litter that was spilled inside spilled out from the package too. And most recently, my order is taking over a week to come and it's not supposed to take that long. Their customer service is pretty good, they do deserve credit for that. But I am very busy and when problems keep arising I don't have time to call and have them resend stuff. Anyway, if things get better I'll leave a good review. I will give them another chance. But I sadly can't say I recommend them anymore at this moment.

    Excellent site with wide variety of quality pet supplies. They carry large (40 lb) Dr. Elsey’s Cat Attract cat litter which I couldn’t find in local shop. The prices are good and between stocking up on canned cat food and litter, it’s easy to reach their $49 minimum for free shipping. Shipping is 1 or 2 days and items are well-packed. I’m very happy with this vendor.

    I just got my puppy, so I had to buy everything for him. I researched in depth all the stores available nearby and online to ensure I was buying a product with the best price and the best quality. I think customer service in the United States needs intense improvement, a lot of workers are way too unhappy with their jobs to ensure the best service. However, Chewy.com has truly amazed me with their customer service experience. First, there is a big variety of products offered. After a lot of research, I noticed that the website also had the lowest prices available in the market. I ordered on Monday night, and by Wednesday morning I had already received my package. I am not a big fan of online shopping, so I called to ask a few questions about what I was buying.

    The biggest surprise was the phone barely ringed until a truly happy to help person answered the call, there was no talking to automatic messages at all. Only when I received my package I noticed a big 33 lb problem, I ordered the wrong puppy food. I had to call them, and my phone experience was again incredible. Someone was very happy to help me with my problem. The representant quickly found a very satisfying solution, they will give me a refund within 3-5 business days. The representant was also able to order the right small breed puppy food I wanted, as well as check out a toy I had left in the online shopping cart.

    Remember when Chewy had the best prices on the web? Well, no more. Chewy was bought by a large company and things at Chewy are changing and not for the better. I noticed my last auto ship order was $6.00 more than the last one. When I called to check on this I got the lowdown on how Chewy now prices things, and it’s not with you the customer in mind. If a Chewy competitor raises their prices, so does Chewy, but Chewy makes their price a tiny bit lower. I decided to check out if there was a source for my dog food with a better price. Well Walmart had a price of TEN DOLLARS LOWER A CASE. I always get two cases at a time so that’s A SAVINGS OF TWENTY DOLLARS OVER CHEWY! So look at Chewy’s prices then do your research. CHEWY NO LONGER HAS THE BEST PRICES!

    I ordered the Zymox topical spray for my dogs rash on his groin. Not the ideal situation. Got the package. Opened the box and the spray bottle's cap wasn't screwed on. What kind of idiots don’t know how to screw a lid on??? It leaked all inside the box and paper. Box was soaked and now I have nothing to give my dog. Horrible service!     I have two dogs of my own (50 lbs and 67 lbs), occasionally foster dogs and puppies, am a dog trainer with my own business, volunteer as a dog trainer with two local animal welfare groups, and am a therapy animal team with one of my dogs. Yep. Dog-crazy, and I go through A LOT of dog care supplies every year: Food, supplements, treats, toys, clean up, grooming, medical/health. The expenses really add up, and I have minimal free time most days, or even weeks.

    I've been a Chewy.com customer for a few years now. Their prices on almost everything I need are competitive and I use their mobile app to shop or add items to my auto-ship orders on-the-go. But the reason I'm writing this review is because their customer service is AMAZING. I've never had an issue with refunds/exchanges; if I have a problem, I email Chewy. They reply promptly and always offer a fair resolution. If you ever have a bad or even less than stellar experience, I encourage you to contact their customer support to see what they can do to resolve your issue!

    Shopping in general can be a pain, but shopping online can get tricky. Chewy.com makes my life easier; so much so that I wound up on this site looking for some ratings and decided I should give a shout out to them to say thanks for being so great! It's rare to find companies nowadays that are as eager to make customers happy as they are to make money.

    I have ordered from Chewy a few times in the past few months. I have yet to find better deals on items like cat food, fountains, litter boxes, and other pet supplies. They also have amazing sales like BOGO's or 50% off first bag discounts on fantastic brands of cat food quite often. I have also received a $15 off any $50 or off order from them, which I was able to combine with other promo discounts!

    Their customer service is also amazing, and they really show interest, care, and concern for furry friends. When I informed them that my elderly kitties were rejecting a bag of food that they regularly eat, a Chewy representative immediately sent me a replacement bag. I did not even have to ask! All they asked for in return was a picture of the kitties, if I had time to share one. I still have no idea what caused them not to eat the original bag, however they began eating the new bag with no problems. I will always order from them!

    I will have to disagree with the bad reviews written. I have been a customer of Chewy for about a year. I order from them A LOT, and I have never had an issue with receiving my order on time or early. You can't blame the company if the delivery system is having issues. I was shocked when I placed an order on a Wednesday afternoon and it was delivered Thursday afternoon. All of my orders have been received within 3 days. It is only common sense if a person expects a delivery on a Sunday. With the money that I save it would be worth it if I had to wait an extra day.

    I know usually customers take time to write bad reviews, but I really wanted to go out of my way to write a positive review for Chewy.com. They have done nothing but take care of their customers. I order all my dog's food, treats and toys at the best possible price out there. I don't have to go to a pet store, lug a huge 50 pound bag home every month. My package usually arrives the next day. I have heard of pets passing away and Chewy going above and beyond to apologize for their loss and usually send a memorial of their pet. On another occasion my friend ordered a high tech product to watch her dog while she is at work, someone in her building stole the package and they immediately sent a replacement to her work. Chewy truly cares about their customers and I would never step foot in another pet store again. I love them!

    Chewy.com is an amazing pet product online resource. The customer service is awesome. Their prices are also far more reasonable than many others. Their return policy is extremely helpful. When purchasing a cat food that a cat may not like or there are any problems, such as crushed cans, Chewy will credit customers without having to return these products. So if a cat won't eat a new food, instead they recommend donating the food to a shelter. We love Chewy and everything they do to help pet parents.

    This is my second time using the 2 days shipping, if you expend $49 dollars. The 1st time, I didn’t monitor the 2 days shipment, because I was gone. But this time I did, my package will took 6 days to get home (didn’t have to buy the additional stuff, just need my dog food), package arrive at the same time as regular shipment (without buy the extras). I call Chewy on the issue and this is the explanation that I got; 1st I miss the cut off time for the day (ship the next day), even in accordance with my time zone, I was still good, also I found out that FeDEx do not do home delivery on Sunday or If you check the website, nothing is mention about these issues, only that they are open 24 hours, 7 days and 365 days. Be careful is you are using the $49.00, for the 2 day shipment.

    Since the Petsmart buyout, Chewy.com has gone far downhill. I used to rant and rave to friends, family, coworkers, and even strangers about the excellent service at Chewy.com; fast shipping, awesome customer service, great prices and a pretty good online selection. Recently, my orders have been arriving late (they really should remove the "free 1-2 day shipping" slogan from their site), customer service no longer goes above and beyond to satisfy (they now give an excuse for every complaint you have), and prices seem to be mostly comparable to in-store items (if you shop in the right place).

    I recently had an incident where shipping took FIVE days. My order was over the $49 free 1-2 day shipping amount (as it always is, or was). When I emailed to complain, I was given an explanation of shipping guidelines and cut-off times and was told that if I want my order on time to order early on in the week! This is such a sad revelation for me as a long time customer of Chewy. Nothing gold lasts forever!

    Like many posting here, I was a happy Chewy.com customer for several years. That was BEFORE they were bought out by PetSmart. Now, orders are late, I get cases of food with many cans dented (sometimes to the point that the can is OPEN and the food spoiled), and now there are issues with my coupons being stolen. DO NOT SEND CHEWY.COM ANY COUPONS IN GOOD FAITH!!!

    I used to place orders and then send the coupons with a letter with the order and item numbers to apply the coupons, and in the past, a credit would show up like clockwork on my card within 5-10 days. About a month ago, I mailed in 2 coupons for Comfort Zone diffuser refills worth $5.00 each to be applied towards 2 items I'd just bought. I only received a credit for ONE of the coupons. I thought it was a fluke, but no... On my next order, I again sent 2 coupons worth $5.00 each - also for Comfort Zone diffuser refills, as this is something I order approximately monthly (but not by autoship). More than 2 weeks have now passed, and no credit has been issued. I called them to ask. The person looked on my account and could only tell me that they "hadn't been received yet". That's nonsense.

    The quality of this company continues to spiral downward. That's really PetSmart's goal, though, isn't it? In the end, PetSmart wants all these other little companies they bought to tank and die off, so in the end, they're left as the only alternative. I now can't even buy any Orijen products from Chewy because Orijen refuses to have their products sold by any PetSmart-associated company because of their association with puppy mills. I might as well buy locally though the product is more expensive, even with the coupons applied. Oh how I miss the old Chewy.com. :(

    After years of amazing service and savings on prescription dog food we had to put our pet to sleep. I contacted Chewy because I had 18 cans of dog food left and wondered if I could return it. Chewy sent me the sweetest email ever expressing their sadness over my loss. They refunded my full shipment amount and asked me to donate the food to a shelter. They have a heart.     I never have experienced so much care before with a company! I am a new buyer and when making my purchase I called and spoke to one of their customer service reps, Alexis. She did an amazing job taking care of my order and we spoke about her visiting out of town to my state. I told her some places to visit and a few weeks later I received a thank you card from her!     My first order came on time and all items ordered were there. Unfortunately UPS must have literally dropped the box on my front porch, because one of my large bags of dog food was busted open. No biggie. I called customer service and they IMMEDIATELY replaced it, and surprisingly enough the new bag arrived the very next day in less than 24 hrs after reporting it to customer service. Customer service was very understanding and polite, and I have nothing but good things to say about my first experience with Chewy.com. My two dogs also give you guys 5 stars or two paws rating lol. I can't believe so many people complaining about delivery cost when it says CLEARLY it's not free unless you spend $50 or more. To be expected of course. People just complain because they're obviously cheapskates and people have nothing better do apparently. Thanks Chewy.com. I don't care who owns your company, you guys rock.

    I ordered from Chewy and was told my package would arrive in 2 days. I contacted FedEx to track the package and it was never received. I spoke to three reps who all told me different stories. What happened to my package? I was told it was lost, damaged, on the way. I received so many different answers I don't know what to believe. I asked to speak to supervisor and was hung up on twice. Horrible service!

    CHEWY LIES! You do not get free shipping unless you spend over $49. I found this out when I tried to place an order. When challenged, customer service says that they put all qualifiers in their ad. Didn't see it? No? That's because it's listed in the last frame with lettering so small, coloring that blends in, that you have to sit right in front of the TV to see it. This may satisfy a 'legal' requirement, but outright deception is a bad business policy.

    Chewy is no more. It is now PetSmart. Good things always come to an end. The express shipping isn’t as express anymore. I’ve tried to place an order 2 times with no luck. Out of the blue after shopping with Chewy for many years, I’m told to reset my password. I have followed their instructions, with no luck. I can’t reset my password. So I have decided to shop at another business for my pet needs. I quit shopping at PetSmart many years ago, for many reasons. Too expensive and items out of stock. Now they are Chewy... I was disappointed to hear.

    We have placed 2 orders with Chewy and I can't tell you how pleased we are with them, and our dog gives his top paw rating as well! We had a size issue on one order, which was our fault, and they immediately took care of replacing it and did so without any issues or problems. The second order I placed I was having some trouble, called customer service and was promptly greeted by a very friendly and knowledgeable gentleman. He fixed everything for me and made me feel like a truly appreciated customer.

    I've been a chewy.com customer since before Petsmart bought them. Lately, I've had issues with being charged for items never shipped (auto delivery that was out of stock), double charging on shipments, and today, charged for an order in full although only part shipped and then being charged again for the part that shipped from another warehouse. When I used to work in retail, billing customers prior to shipment was illegal. When I talked to customer service I was told that it should clear itself up within 24 to 48 hours since it was only "pending". No offer to fix it right then, which is what they used to do. Essentially they get to use my money for the next 1 to 2 days while I do not. Very unethical business practices. No other online company that I deal with charges customer for orders that haven't shipped. I'm done with them. Back to Amazon I go. My advice, watch your bank accounts closely when you order with them.

    I have tried several different cat foods. My cat, Sam, did not like any of them. He refuses to even try soft cat food. :( He is missing many teeth and his coat is full of flaky skin cells.     I have been shopping with Chewy for almost a year now, since last September and my cat is a munchkin cat, once I got food (found out she couldn't eat dry and that she is super picky) and wouldn't eat the canned Blue Buffalo I bought her. Got her a very large case of it. First case was dented but they rushed me out a second case. It was fine. They made sure it was double packed. They told me also to donate the other cans that were non-dented and keep the good ones for her. Within a few cans (it also wasn't a variety pack) she was done with it. Go figure, cats right?) Anyway they recently (in the last few days), refunded me for the Blue Buffalo. Since I have changed banking info and debit cards. I called myself to the bank to make sure they would be able to transfer the 35.00 over to the new account.

    Lady at the bank told me they couldn't and didn't see the funds. And hung up... So I called Chewy and they requested to help me out. I am autistic and verbally have a small language barrier at times. And so I let her stay on the line with me and merged calls with them and my bank and they got it straightened out. They also had me send photos of my munchkin cat. Part Himalayan and ragdoll. I absolutely love this company. They make you (and your fur baby) feel not like an order number, but a person, and they treat you with sincerity and respect. I will be a customer of theirs for life. They have a wall they put your pet's photo on, and told me to send several photos of her to them. I have also had personal postcards written to Aqua and I from the people I talk to on the phone. They're so attentive and caring.

    Definitely choose Chewy. Those complaining about shipping issues, I have been ordering online for years because I can hardly get out of the house due to my disabilities, shipping isn't chewy.com’s issue (I have never had a shipping issue once in the almost year I've been with them). It depends on all kinds of factors, holidays, weather, you name it. Once it's out of anyone's warehouse (my parents worked at a warehouse trust me) it depends on the delivering service at that point to get that item TO YOU! There are natural disasters every day.

    You may get something from UPS and not FedEx or something from FedEx and not UPS because different hubs in different areas and the truck it's on may not be able to get to certain hubs that get that product to you in time. No matter if it's Amazon and you get something next day from over 2000 miles away, you still might not get it next day. I've paid next day shipping costs and I still sometimes don't get it next day. It depends on the time the truck picks the item up as well. So this is a whole other story. But Chewy is amazing. Give them a shot. Trust me!

    I have been a customer of Chewy.com for 3 years. Last week, I ordered a small bag of dry dog food and 2 different cases of canned dog food. My total was in the amount of 59.72. My debit card was charged for 59.72, PLUS additional charges of $22.71 AND $28.70. I immediately emailed customer service and sent bank records along with their own invoice which showed the same charges. I receive the following response from Jamie **, Customer service:

    "I'd be happy to explain the charges. When an order is placed, a pending hold is placed on your account for the total amount. In this case, the total was $59.72. Typically, orders ship out of whichever warehouse is closest to you, to ensure speedy shipping. On this rare occasion, some items are sold out of your closest warehouse and need to be shipped from a more distant warehouse. We never fully charge your card until the items have left our warehouse and are on their way to your door. You were fully charged $22.71, $28.70, and $8.31 for a grand total of $59.72. The original pending hold has been released by our system, so you should see the charge released back into your account within the next 24 business hours depending on your bank."

    So, the reasoning is because the canned food was coming from 2 different warehouses. But the fact is, I received both cases on the same day and both were shipped out of the same warehouse. While they did remove the charge after 48 hours, I'm disappointed they have started this new policy. They have never done this before in the 3 years I have been a customer. I have found the dog food I want on Amazon.com. Since I'm a Prime member, I get free shipping anyway so I won't have to adhere to a minimum to get the free shipping anymore. I guess since I only have a 4.5 lb Chihuahua, they won't miss me...

    We have been ordering up to $150 twice a month from Chewy. At first they were really fast (within their 1-2 day advertised delivery). And now I will be lucky to get my most recent order on the 4th day even though they told me they opened a new distribution center less than 50 miles away. When I called I was told that if you order on a weekend, FedEx will now only ship during the week. Why then should anyone rely on Chewy’s 1-2 delivery advertisement. Maybe I could just not tell my pets to eat for the extra 2 days. If I have to travel out and supplement my food order I might as well get everything for the next 2 weeks. So disappointed in them.

    We've done three orders so far with Chewy. 2 of those orders had to get returned due to damaged shipping. One bottle of Scout pet cleaner broke open in the package. Each time they re-shipped quickly and they even credited our entire order back on the last damaged shipment. I'm not going to dig into Chewy too hard for that since they can't control what happens during shipping. However, this is purely something for convenience. We order dog food, treats and toys and literally everything we order is the same price or cheaper at local stores.     Chewy was such a fantastic website. I mean top notch service, support, and products with the very best prices. Unaware of the PetSmart buy out, I placed an order a couple of days ago and noticed changes. The main one being almost 8 bucks in sales tax!! That alone is enough for me to find another online pet store to shop. The sales tax completely negates any savings I would normally have. I also noticed the short and robotic like responses to customers questions. They used to be so personable and helpful. They are also starting to carry more and more subpar products and the prices are rising. But the REAL reason I'm moving on to another supplier is I know how shady and fake these big corporate retailers are.

    I worked for Petco for 3 years and it would blow your mind how much perfectly good product they throw in the trash instead of donating it to rescue groups or at least mark down the prices and put on clearance. Any given week they throw away dozens and dozens of bags of dog and cat food. Along with just about anything else that is returned or is minimally damaged while being shipped to the store or is accidentally damaged while being handled at the store. It can be the tiniest rip or tear and in the dumpster it goes. I will not support companies that put on a fake front, if they cared so much about animals then they would donate all that merchandise to shelters and rescue groups. I just wanted to make people aware of these large retailer's hypocritical practices. It's such a shame that Chewy sold out, I'm very disappointed. If anyone knows of a website that's similar to Chewy and is still reputable please let me know. Thanks for letting me share.

    Since PetSmart acquired Chewy I have seen prices rise about $5.00 on dog food I have been getting from Chewy.     Every order is thrown together and the result is a lot of damaged pet food cans. Their idea of packing material is a flat sheet of brown wrapping paper, which does nothing but create more waste. Their product descriptions are mostly just press releases from manufacturers, so pretty empty of facts and full of exaggerations. One egregious case was they're recommending an inexpensive ordinary soft treat as a pill pocket: it does not work, moreover the manufacturer does not mention this usage anywhere. Nevertheless, when contacted Chewy insisted they are right and will not remove the pill pocket claim.

    Obviously, they do no testing of products but rely on customer reviews which they request almost before you can get the first can opened. Their prices have inched up over the year, plus they now collect tax, so there is little to no advantage over supermarkets, PetSmart or Petco. If you need a prescription diet because your pet has kidney or other disease, forget it, they give you fifty cents off on a case of 24 and still charge you the regular retail of $50 plus a case. When contacted on this point, why are they taking advantage, rather than discounting to parents with sick furbabies you get a runaround.

    This business continues to ship more than 40 or 50 pounds in one box. I am sure other customers have issues, especially our aging population, especially when our requests are ignored… This appears this is something the company does not seem to want to address. I have suggested they work with FedEx or whatever shipping service they have chosen, to develop a better way to protect their customers who are ordering TWO BAGS at one time… And the sooner they do this, the better!

    The boxes this company is using are not made for the heavy volume they have chosen as acceptable - they say they will only split the shipment if the order is OVER 68 pounds. They have said they will charge customers who request separate, lower weight packaging. I can't believe they have NO OBLIGATION TO SENIOR CUSTOMERS! When I (or any other senior) requests separate boxes, it’s for HEALTH AND MEDICAL issues, not just so Chewy.com can lose money on the shipping.     I have two dogs, every month I spend $100 on food (dry and wet). I being using chewy since 2014 you can make the calculations of how much business I had give to CHEWY. Last month I ordered the usual Natural Balance LI bag and just right after I submit my order I found another website that with a big bag of Natural Balance they will send you a complimentary 2 bags of NB treats!!! I paid chewy $75 something while the one with 2 bags of treats was $68 total. I contacted Chewy. I explained them what was going on and they just offered to cancel my order. I'm disappointed of chewy because they can clearly see that I had been ordering from them for YEARS and still I never received a damn toy as a gift or they don't even offer a rewards program.

    Also I want to mention that, the way they pack the boxes is just ridiculous because they place the big 25 pound of dry with my usually 3 or 4 boxes of 24 Cesar Wet Food, and in two occasions my wet food was spilled all over inside the freaking box, they replaced the items twice I don't deny that, but still they can do better.

    The overall site is better priced than most places, BUT say if you bought $82.53 worth of items and you had two shipments they take out the full 82.53 in pending status of your bank plus 50.86 for one shipment then another 21.08 for the other shipment so now instead of having a total of $82.53 being in pending status I have $154.47. Not sure how they get away with doing so. The rep just said because they are in ship status and the additional charges will drop in 24 to 48 hours. The only charge that should been taken place is the 82.53 no matter how many shipments they did.

    I'm reviewing this company because I am impressed by their customer service. I've had to contact them by phone twice. First because I'm not very computer savvy and needed to get a prescription to them. They made it so simple.     Had an auto-ship set up for special diet Royal Canin - the shipment was scheduled for 3/2; however, the label was only created on 3/2. The item was not to arrive until Tues evening - by then I would be out of food and she can't eat anything but this special diet. They fail to state on their website that they use FedEx Home and then forfeit Monday deliveries.

    They refused to honor the 1 - 2 day shipping/delivery. I then had to call my vet to get a prescription written so I can pick up the food at a local pet store. I will never use this company again! They are over $10 cheaper but I can't risk my dog's health if they don't deliver as specified. And the customer service agent couldn't even arrange an emergency shipment. If they are going to carry special diet food then they need to have some procedure in place to handle the situation. Horrible company.

    I called Chewy.com because one of my cats had passed, and I wanted to know if I could return the cat food I had ordered for her. The person I talked to was kind enough to credit my account and told me I could donate the food if I wanted to. Today I dropped it off at the adoption center at my local PetSmart. When I returned to my apartment there was a bouquet of flowers. Imagine my surprise when I opened the envelope and saw they had been sent by Chewy in memory of Gypsy. They even remembered her name. I am extremely touched by their thoughtfulness. It was signed by (hard to read the writing) Jelani and the Chewy Family (sorry if I got the name wrong). I am deeply grateful for Chewy's thoughtfulness. It's something I will never forget.

    I've been a Chewy customer for almost a year. Any time I've had a delivery, product or service concern, Chewy has stepped up and helped me. Once I ordered a box of cat litter but when it was delivered it was spilled and half empty. They replaced my litter for free. Last November my beagle got really sick. My vet said it was arthritis but it was kidney failure. We had to put him to sleep and had him cremated. I called Chewy, I was so upset but I needed to modify my order because I had one less pet. They went so far as to send me a sympathy card AND FLOWERS! What company does That? Chewy will refund or replace whatever you may have a problem with. The customer service reps are fabulous, caring and really sweet. They use verbiage like furbabies, aarf bark etc. It's very corny but cute. Plus they make it convenient free shipping over 49 bucks. Love Chewy. Recommend them always.

    I order a lot of cat food as a volunteer for a TNR organization and a cat rescue organization. Aside from low prices and speedy delivery which is standard for Chewy, I doubt that there is another online or brick and mortar pet supply company that provides customer service that is as good in every respect. The reps can answer any question you throw at them and they are not only familiar with cat food but with care of cats as well. They will do whatever is needed to see to it that the customer is totally satisfied. You can reach a rep 24/7. Need prescription food? No problem. They will contact your vet. Have an issue with an order? Again, no problem. A quick resolution is guaranteed. In short, you could not do better than Chewy if you own a pet.

    Every time I reached out to Chewy to ask a question they have provided TOP service! Quick to respond, and not only that, they go above and beyond. When I tried using a coupon that was only meant for 1st time buyers and didn't realize it, they honored the discount anyway. They are personal and I shared that my dog had recently been ill, and they sent a hand signed get well card!     My precious dog, Dayton... a Shiba Inu, was diagnosed with crystals in his stomach. I am a regular customer of CHEWY.COM. I have been pretty hysterical waiting for the results... which could have been better. He is required to now eat a special food that CHEWY sells and requires my vet's prescription.     I've been a customer of Chewy for about 2 years now, they've always been competitively priced and offer some brands that Petco and PetSmart do not. One such brand being Victor, which is, by far, some of the best dry and wet dog food I have ever found. They have a five star rating with Dogfoodadvisor.com and haven't had a recall ever, if I remember correctly. Chewy.com is the only place I have found this dog food at a very reasonable price. Then I found out they also have the Purina Pro Plan cat food I have my felines on, it's almost TEN dollars cheaper than PetSmart or Petco. So as you can see, Chewy has become almost my 1 stop shop.

    On 2/14/2018 I had a Chewy order delivered to my house and it was stolen by someone. Once I confirmed that the package was delivered and stolen, I called Chewy. The customer service rep was genuinely apologetic, her name was Janelle (sp?), and she did everything she could to remedy something that wasn't even Chewy's fault. Within a matter of minutes she had another order processed and it would ship out the following day. AT NO COST TO ME. This is "basic" customer service, but so many companies are losing sight of treating their customers like the people who keep them in business. But Chewy has always been on time, great prices, FAST shipping, and easy to work with. Now they're just at the top of my list of commendable companies. They've earned a review a long time ago; however, now I'm definitely a lifetime customer.

    I was extremely happy with Chewy's prior to the business being sold to PetSmart. Customer Service was efficient, and the delivery was extraordinary. Sales tax was not added, therefore the price was cheaper. I was willing to overlook the price increase and the sub-par customer service but cannot overlook the horrific FedEx delivery service. Deliveries are delayed no matter what your email states. During the holidays I waited a long time for my cat food but I understood that the delay was due to the holidays. This would not have happened prior to the new transition. My delivery has been delayed again by one day and there is no excuse for that since the shipment has been at FedEx in Roseville for 2 days. No it is not snowing there. This is bad management all around. I hope that customers fight back and stop ordering from Chewy's until management is more sensitive to our pets needs and stop being so money hungry. Prompt delivery is 100% important.

    My furry family member is on prescription dog food. I used to order her food thru the Vet's online pharmacy and for quite awhile they were cheaper. Then I get an email that the 27.5 lb bag of her food will be $82.95 and it took about 1 week to arrive. I decided to order her food from Chewy.com and received 20% off my first order and future orders will be $70.95 since I do auto ship. They faxed the Vet's office on Sunday and Monday I called to confirm this did happen. I can't believe my order shipped the same day the Vet approved it and I received it Tuesday.     The reason I began ordering the Milk-Bone Good Morning Total Wellness Daily Vitamin Dog Treats on Chewy is because stores near me stopped selling the 6oz bottle. My dog loves the product, but I am upset that Chewy had to higher the price. I used to do auto-ship on the product, but stopped when the prices went up. I'm just wondering, did the price go up because stores discontinued the 6oz. bottle? Will there be any coupon opportunities for this product? If so, I would continue purchasing this for my dog, grr.

    I recently lost my beloved Newfoundland Katie and had received an order from Chewy only a few weeks prior. I called them to find out if I could return the unused items. I spoke with a lovely man by the name of Maurice, who was as sad as I was once I explained why I was trying to return part of my previous order. Maurice went above and beyond any customer service I have ever experienced and I am truly grateful for his understanding and help. I was given a refund for the items I wanted to return and was asked if I could donate the items I no longer needed to a local animal shelter, which I did.

    A week after my phone call with Maurice I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers from Chewy sending me their deepest sympathies. I was bowled over by their touching gesture and then made a very tearful phone call to say thank you.     I'm recently on crutches and cannot get around. We got a $15 off coupon and free shipping. We order dog food because we're running low. Coupon only applies if order is over $50. Guess what, order comes to $49.99, which is $7 more than local Fleet Farm. I say, add a penny, but nope, gotta order something else. We ask rep about 2 day shipping and confirms it should be here by end of day Saturday otherwise we'll let you know. We get email and check FedEx and confirms end of day Saturday. It's Saturday, no dog food, no notice and FedEx site still says label created and no updates. We are out of food, so I will go out in subzero weather, on crutches to keep dog fed. Chewy, you suck. Major FAIL! Don't go here. Costs more and Customer Service fails.

    First time purchasing, and I tried it because they sent me a $15 off coupon. Great. I ordered two bags of 24-pound dog food and some treats. They offered half off one bag for my first order. Awesome. Well, the box came with just one bag of 24-pound dog food and the treats. Hmmm. No message about it the other bag shipping separately, I mean, shipping 2 bags would have been over 50 pounds, which I did not expect.

    Called them and they were confused as to why it did not ship out. No investigation, the guy on the phone said actually, "I am not sure what all the hubbub was about on your order." Hubbub? OK. In the end, he placed an order to ship another bag to me. Good thing I called, because if not, I never would have received my other bag of food! Oh, and he offered nothing to accommodate me for the problem or the fact that I had to call to get the product that I ordered. I probably won't be ordering from them again.

    I had a bag of dry cat food delivered with other products. It had a tear in it. Didn't lose a lot, maybe 1/2 cup. I let them know because I thought they might want to just remind the people who pull the orders to watch for rips or tears. The nice lady who took my notice sent a whole new bag to me, even though I told her it wasn't necessary. This company backs up their promises to deliver and more.     If you are buying medicine for a dog the delivery date is important. If they told me an accurate delivery date I would have gone with Amazon. I ordered on 2/1 for a 1-2 day delivery. Customer service told me I ordered at 4:15 PM so the 1st doesn't count and FedEx takes off Sunday and Monday so those days don't count either. She could not tell me where the box was in addition.

    I received a bag of dog food that was damaged when I opened the box. I sent the company an email with a picture of the bag and within 15 minutes of sending the email they had responded to me expressing their apologies and informed me that a new bag was being shipped. They went on to say that if the dog food was still in good condition that they recommended donating the damaged bag to a local rescue and I thought that was so thoughtful and generous of them. Based off of this experience I feel that they truly care about their customers and our fur families.

    Chewy is Amazing. I am not one to write reviews but their customer service deserves one. Not only is Chewy fast with their shipping. They are always on time with their Auto ship. This past order I had to provide new card info and accidentally placed my order twice in the process. I clicked the contact button on the app. I didn't receive an automated message; I actually had a person answer. Not only did she answer quickly she helped me promptly.

    My 2nd order was canceled and the money was back in my account by the end of the day (Even with her telling me it would be 24-48 hours) which is faster than any other company would be. My order arrived the following morning despite me needing to update everything. The woman was super helpful. I get well over 100 lb of food and litter sent to me every 12 weeks.     Chewy had placed me on auto-order for a veterinarian-prescribed food (Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein HD dog food) for my two dogs. Chewy sent me continued e-mails up until today, processing scheduled shipment (with option to ship today). Upon calling Chewy to explain I was completely out of food and that I wished a shipment today, Chewy reluctantly acknowledged that they have no product to ship - "for 1 to 2 weeks." This leaves me with no food for the dogs. I am left to source the product on my own. "Jessica" C/S "Supervisor" was of absolutely no help and was oblivious to my concern. She argued with me that this "only an automated message" - despite that it was fundamentally untrue. Shame on Chewy.

    I wrote a negative review of a product at Chewy. I love them, just not this particular product. It was a product for my 15-yr-old dog that didn't work out well. My dog died that week, which I mentioned in the review. I got an email within a day or 2 of the review from Maria ** stating they were refunding my purchase & asked me to donate or throw away the product and asked for a picture of my dog. I wrote back thanking them & included his picture with a sweet reply from another gentleman. I didn't expect a refund, nor did I ask for one, but I thought this was a really classy way to do business & was also helpful since we had to have our dog cremated that day. It didn't stop there.

    This morning FedEx showed up at my door with a box from FTD. I thought surely it was from my mom or maybe a coworker.     Firstly, I ordered Hill’s science diet cat food, dry and wet from them and was so surprised to receive it the next morning. It was amazing! Secondly, the customer service rep that helped me was so darn nice and helpful, it was another great experience. She recommended some probiotics that were just like the ones I buy at the vet, but much lower in price. Thirdly, I received my second shipment in a timely fashion which I had to accelerate because I was running out of dry food. In the fourth place, I had to communicate to Chewy by email that I wanted to put a hold on my next shipment cause I had to go to the vet. I wasn't sure that the food our cat was eating was doing the trick (intestinal problems, weight loss).

    Fifthly, I had an online dialogue with Jahnay, a customer service rep. In that communication I explained the problem: my best friend of 52 years had just died, and I was up in the air about what to order as I had to see the vet. I couldn't get to the vet until this week. She wrote back and told me what to do and sent her condolences for our loss. NOW: this morning the doorbell rang, and what to my wondering eyes should appear but a lovely, fragrant bouquet. Guess who it was from? Jahnay and the Chewy family. I was absolutely blown away by this thoughtful gesture. I know no one will believe me, but honestly IT IS TRUE! I have never heard nor seen a company do this...

    Anyhow, I just want to say that this is unprecedented, and what a sweet thing to do. Chewy has got me, and my friends for life! PS these are the only flowers we have received, go figure!     My first few orders with Chewy had no problems; however, I recently made a purchase where they shipped the wrong color item, so I emailed and asked for the correct color. They responded within an hour (on a Sunday evening!) and shipped a replacement that night, reassuring me that they had double checked the color this time.     Everyone expects to receive terrible customer service: it is a new normal that we love to hate. So, when I had to call to try to cancel a shipment that appeared to have already left, I expected to be chided and informed of all the things I *should* have done, and I expected to be told I was too late. None of that happened. I was greeted cheerfully by a young man whose name I was too stressed to remember (I apologize, sir), and in less than five minutes, he let me know he would refund my money, try to stop the package - and if he couldn't, how to have FedEx send it right back. He was efficient, he was non-judgmental, and perhaps most importantly, he was KIND. It matters, people...

    It has been 9 days since I placed my first order with Chewy.com and I still do not have my complete order. Four times I have had to call customer service over the past week trying to track my order. This would upset anyone HOWEVER when I call, a live person picks up the phone after at most three rings. They are very pleasant, professional and willing to help. This goes miles with me. As much as FedEx has buffooned the delivery of what I have paid for, Chewy maintains dignity and does not bad mouth FedEx and has made many attempts to right the ship and try to accommodate me in any way they are able.

    Will I use Chewy again? Absolutely. But, beforehand will make sure that I am not dangerously low on pet food, litter, etc. and expect that there may be a repeat of this experience. At this point I feel confident that whatever occurs, Chewy will do everything in their power to fix things. Now, if after three or four times this happens then I would consider not ordering in the future unless they can arrange for alternate delivery options. To customer service at Chewy, I sincerely appreciate your efforts in getting to me what I have ordered and paid for.

    I had one of the best experiences I've ever had with Chewy's customer service. I contacted them to inquire about returning a crate pan that did not fit my crate.     My order with Chewy has been fraught with the most frustrating customer service I’ve ever had the displeasure of experiencing. My cat recently had a major surgery and requires prescription food to maintain his health. Whenever I see that he’s running low on food, I order that day so that he never runs out. I am new to Chewy and thought I’d give them a try so I called my vet and had them fax over the prescription per the guidelines. Because this food is so important to my cat’s wellbeing, I decided to call Chewy’s customer service in order to confirm whether or not the prescription had been received and more importantly, when I could expect the delivery. I spoke with a representative who told me that he had received the prescription and that the food would be delivered two days later.

    This was confirmed through both my name and phone number. 

Imagine my surprise when I received an e-mail the next day informing me that Chewy had not received a prescription and was waiting to ship my order. I called to make sure that there was some kind of mistake and I found that no one had made a record of my call or sent any kind of confirmation that we had spoken. There are a few possibilities here, so let me lay out for you why you shouldn’t trust this company with anything important: The person I spoke to flat out lied to me. This wasn’t a case of a mistaken account. He confirmed the order and details through my phone number and name. When someone tells you that your vet’s order was received and that you will “absolutely be receiving your order on Wednesday”, I’d imagine you’d be inclined to believe it. Either the representative lied to me or their shipping system is clumsy and inefficient.

    When I called to confirm (and find anything BUT confirmation) I had to speak to two different individuals to discover that the original representative had not made any kind of record of the call. Not only did someone give me misinformation and tell me that documents existed that DID NOT exist, they conveniently left out any trace of my call. I suppose this could be an infrastructure problem at the call center, in which case… There is zero accountability. Chewy’s representatives can lie to you, withhold information, and prevent your pets from receiving medication but doesn’t suffer in the slightest. Nothing was done to make the situation right, no real interest was taken in the claim. I was just told to “have the vet send it over.”

    It is up to a company to fix its mistakes, but if no system of accountability exists, whoever you speak with can immediately claim that they aren’t liable for their own misinformation and failures. When it’s your pet’s health at stake, remember this review. Find a better supplier — a supplier that cares more about you and your pet than covering themselves and their employee’s incompetence.

    FedEx kept not delivering my packages from Chewy. FedEx is useless. Chewy will lose my business because of FedEx. Chewy should give options for UPS. I'll even pay for delivery.     I've been ordering from Chewy for about 8 months to a 1 year. Today is my final straw. I order the same stuff. 40 lb bag of dog food and cat litter, give or take on how many and pounds. This order. I needed 25 lb (litter) and it was on sale. Everything came in one box! 65 lbs worth!!! I am a 5'4 lady and in winter storm, trying to haul this box inside! Not fun! Box fine, but in shipping. My bag of dog food was damage and dog food in the box. I am assuming from the cat litter sharp corners. I called Chewy. Lady was very nice overall. But what got me was her first question, "Was the box damage?!" How about my back? Overall dog food replaced. Cat litter should be shipped separate!!!

    I placed my first order with Chewy.com on August 24, 2017. I was charged 15.30 that month. When I received my shipment in November and October, I was charged 17.20 for the same product. On December 28th, my most recent order, the price was raised to 18.50 for the exact same product. They never put the amount charged to your card on any of the shipment information so unless you go into the system and look it up, you will not notice the gradual price increase. The thing that makes me the angriest is I went online to price the very same product I have been getting and they are charging 11.29 for the very same product they just charged me 18.50 for. I canceled my future shipments and will no longer do business with them. They did refund my credit card the 18.50 they charged this month so I did get my money back for December. I have to look my order number up and will send it under separate cover.

    I did a test order to see how their service was. Quite good as it turns out. Fast delivery left right outside my door. Being as it was a couple 40lb bags of cat litter, I appreciated not having to lug it in and out of my car. Environmentally speaking, I wish things did not have to be in big boxes - but I know many products would never survive the transport process otherwise...     I ordered two items from them on a Tuesday morning. They take the money immediately to process your order. Thursday afternoon I find a small box out on the road by my mailbox; had the dog food arrived they would be forced to deliver in the back by a porch. Clearly it was a partial delivery. No one told me when I ordered that the dog food wouldn’t be delivered! I pull-up my order and it says ‘shipped’?? Now you have to call someone - more time wasted. I call and NOW I’m told it’s on back order - a WEEK! Shouldn’t I have been told that when I ordered? I told the woman on the phone and I quote ‘CANCEL IT - ISSUE A REFUND - I CANNOT WAIT - WHAT LOUSY SERVICE’!!

    Now one would assume someone would do that? My husband got in the car and drove an hour and a half each way back and forth to get whatever he could off the shelf. We are feeding our dog this food as a special diet. He has a brain tumor. Has seizures. Watching him die. Other dog has Cushings. Is pretty hairy around here with two sick dogs.

    No reply from Chewy. I wrote today. In CAPS. Angry. Rotten service. That shipment is coming from somewhere? Hasn’t been stopped? Coming from Iowa? FedEx? I’ve now told Chewy three times, "I don’t want your lousy dog food." You don’t bother to tell me you don’t have it? I don’t want it? And if by your lack of any follow through it gets here? It’s going right back? Chewy sucks. Period.

    Wow... so, aside from the next day shipping, great prices and great selection of all things related to pets, Chewy.com has outstanding customer service. Somehow, I had unintentionally added a Serresto collar to my auto-ship. I looked at my bank account expecting a charge for $60 for pet food but instead saw that $119 had been deducted. I wasn't happy. I immediately attempted to modify the order, but it had already shipped.

    So, I steeled myself for an argument, expecting that I would be told that I had to pay for shipping to return the item, and then I would be refunded. The exact opposite happened. Not only did I get ahold of a rep immediately, without navigating an annoying automated system, but she was friendly and easy to understand. I explained the situation, without hesitation she stated she already issued a credit for the $54.00 for the collar. She then advised me that since the collar had already shipped, they would normally request that I return it, but since it was close to the Holidays, that I could go ahead and donate it to a local pet shelter in my area.

Anyways I called the man I was talking to helped so much.     I have been using Chewy.com for some time now. We have used it for our dog. They have accommodated our auto ship schedule and some changes over the years. They have provided handwritten Christmas cards over the years and expressed their appreciation for our continued loyalty. Sadly we have lost our Lily this month.     I have 2 cats. They are indoor cats, but one likes to venture outside a lot and came home to bless my home with fleas. A coworker's daughter is going to school to become a vet, so I asked her for some recommendations on ridding these pests from my home (the fleas, not the cats).     My order was supposed to arrive Wed, but the information on my tracking changed the date of delivery to unknown. I emailed customer service and they immediately sent out a replacement order. Both orders arrived Friday. I contacted customer service again to arrange a pick up of the double order and they said to donate it to a shelter. Westfield Homeless Cat Project is getting $63 worth of Blue Buffalo this Christmas. A few months ago, I was sent a survey on a new brand that I bought and I responded that my cats did not like and I would go back to my original brand. I immediately got an email from Chewy's and they wanted to give me a credit. I said that it was not necessary, as it was great food but my cats just did not like. What kind of company does this? I tell everyone to use Chewy - great company.

    I finally ordered my rescue pit/Corso a bed - even though he takes over mine, he still needs one of his own. I was torn between ordering him a jumbo or large bed. I ended up getting the large thinking eh he will rarely be in it anyways. I got the bed the next day (they always ship right away and get it the next day or in 2 days) and the bed was too small for my dog. I emailed chewy.com asking how do I go about returning the item.

    They got back to me within minutes and states that “they have refunded me the money for the bed and already ordered the jumbo,". My favorite part about this is that they also stated “donate the large bed to a shelter under my dog’s name, they need it.” I am a huge rescue advocate and thought this was the most beautiful thing. This company has a heart of gold and the employees who work there are amazing as well. THANK YOU CHEWY FOR EVERYTHING! And to helping out a shelter in need. :)

    I recently placed my very first order through Chewy.com. Having just gone through a major hassle with another retailer to purchase a few things online, I was a bit jaded, frustrated, and wary about what the result of this undertaking would be like. Sure enough, there was an error in the shipment confirmation that was sent to me, where it indicated fewer items were being shipped than I had actually paid for. Normally I wouldn't have been too concerned, but since I had recently lost many hours to recovering missing items from another online order through a different company, I decided that I just needed to get it over with, be proactive, and give their customer service line a call.

    To my absolute surprise (and delight), I was greeted by the friendliest CSR I think I've ever spoken with to date! She was extremely apologetic about the error with items being displayed improperly in my shipping confirmation, but she assured me that on her end they had processed the correct number of items. I suppose their computer just wasn't counting the duplicates of certain purchases when it generated by shipping receipt... or, at least, that was her explanation. I haven't received my actual parcel/shipment yet (it's due tomorrow, so I guess we'll see what the final verdict is), but I was so taken aback by her thoughtful responses and willingness to look into things for me, that I just had to take a moment to leave them a positive review. Even if my order isn't perfect, I still appreciate a company that employs courteous CSRs. It truly can make all the difference.

The prices are comparable to Amazon and even less. They have a wide variety for products and brands.     My dog sadly passed away from kidney disease, while eating Purina's NF Kidney Diet from Chewy.com. All I wanted was to post an honest review about my experience with the food.     I order dog and cat food on 11/29 it showed on truck for a few days, Said I was not home but was here. When I called customer service they were really bad, made excuse after excuse, they finally refunded money. Then they send me a free order as a make up, which I thought was really nice, Then when they realized what they did they called it back again when it was on truck. I emailed the president, of Chewy.com. He never even replied, Funny they say they love animals, I guess just hate people. WOULD NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN, easier just to pick up in local stores.

    About 8 months ago, a friend of mine raved to me about Chewy.com. Said that she was set up on auto-ship and that her items would automatically arrive each month. She raved about their customer service and how easy it was to change an order from month to month. I have had shipments arrive flawlessly. This month, I clearly received an order that wasn't mine. I have three dogs... And I received 5 cases of Fancy Feast Cat Food. I immediately went online to the Chewy.com site and talked online with a rep (Janny) who quickly re-ordered my pet order AND told me to donate the 5 cases of food to local shelter! I was thrilled at that request and was almost happy that the mistake was made. I give Chewy a 5 paw rating! Customer service is AMAZING and I am thankful not to have to pick up big bags of dog food at the store. Love having it on my doorstep. Highly recommend. #pawtastic.

    I am so extremely satisfied and happy shopping with Chewy that you're going to think this might be a fake review but I promise on my life that it is not!! I literally made an account here just to express and give my praises to Chewy. They run their business with 100% integrity and I will ONLY buy my pet's products from their site as long as I live now. Let me tell you why I'm so happy. I ordered a crate off their site and I realized that I underestimated how much extra room my dog would have in there and it was just too big. I called Chewy to ask what their return policy is and they sent me a whole new crate to my door with FREE 2 day shipping!!! I donated the extra crate to a rescue in need.

    This time around I ordered a BOGO dog food and one came perfect but the other had a tiny tear in the corner. I assumed the dog food was still perfectly fine but I contacted them because better safe than sorry. Don't know how long that little tear could've been there for and if that corner of the dog food might've gone bad or stale. They sent me a replacement bag with free 2 day shipping to my door with no hassle!! That's the way customer service should still be nowadays and it's sad that more companies aren't following in Chewy.com's footsteps.

    Also, when you call, they pick up the phone IMMEDIATELY. I have always gotten the phone picked up the second I dial and never put on hold. They make it right ASAP and it never takes more than 5 minutes. Thank you Chewy.com for selling with integrity and having the best customer service I've ever received. Extremely please. Will never shop anywhere else for my fur babies. I recommend shopping with them 10000%. They have a customer for life.

    One places an order on Friday and the order gets to you by Wednesday. That is 5 days. Not 1 or 2. Chewy goes into this explanation how FedEx does not deliver Saturday or Sunday and they pick up from them only certain days. Which is fine BUT they should not advertise 1 or 2 days.

    I would like to take the time to commend Chewy.com for their outstanding customer service. They go above and beyond out of kindness and selflessness. It is with a broken heart, I share the loss of my Catahoula Hound dog this past week. My Missy Mae fought a very hard, sick battle of Megacolon and after 3 surgeries and countless recoveries, medication and pure will to be strong, she no longer suffers. Miss required special dog food that I could only find from Chewy.com. Her gastrointestinal fiber response food was delivered on autoship every month and at the time of her passing on I had an unopened shipped bag that I no longer needed.

    When I called Chewy.com to inquire about returns, they were ever so kind and asked me my dog's name and offered to contact them any time. I may need even to talk as they are pet parents too. They proceeded to give me a refund for the dog food and asked that I donate the food. Returning it was not necessary. Yesterday I came home to a package at my door. Chewy.com sent me 1 dozen red roses in a beautiful glass vase with a sympathy card in remembrance of Missy Mae. My heart is a lot less broken from the kindness of the souls that make up Chewy.com and the world is a better place because of Janny and her coworkers. Thank you. I will never forget the gesture. A sick dog at the Palm City Humane Society is eating Missy's food this week. Thank you for all that you do. I will forever recommend Chewy.com and re-tell this story each time.

    I have never felt compelled to find a place to sing a company's praises before, but here I am. I reviewed a product on the Chewy website; it was from a major brand. My pet didnt like the new formulation, so I gave it one star. I get an email the next day from Chewy informing me that they've refunded the cost of the case of food to my account with their apologies. Who does that??     Upon opening a can of Weruva cat food I noticed it looked strange and can was dented... I then opened another of the same to check and it was drastically different... this one had mold and was brown. I then went into the case that Chewy sent and there were 6 dented cans. If my cat sitter would have served this and left I probably would have cats that were suffering or would have died from botulism or ptomaine. The person I spoke to was unsympathetic and offered me $11 for the 6 cans. I was shaking and so emotionally upset at what might have happened if I didn't notice or check. This is one of the many times I have gotten dented cans but this was the worst due to the possibility of my cats being fed this unknowingly, by me or the cat sitter.

    I recently ordered a cat tree from Chewy.com. It arrived quickly and was sturdy and well made; our cats love it! Imagine my surprise when a second, identical tree arrived the next day. I called them so it could be returned; the lovely customer service person assured me that they did not want it back as it was their mistake, and that I could donate it to a charity or family if I liked.     Chewy.com is one of the best companies around. Not only do they have a huge selection of products, they are consistent with their amazing service! I'm in the military and every time I move I have to find a pet store that carries my dog's all natural food. It's a tedious task sometimes and even when I do find a store, they don't always have the food I'm looking for in stock. Thankfully I gave Chewy a try and my order arrived two days later.     I absolutely LOVE Chewy.com! They have a huge variety of foods, treats, toys and more. I do wish they had vegan puppy food, but I did find another site for that. Chewy.com does have vegan dog food and treats, thank goodness. I am a dog walker and I have purchased many treats from this site for my babies. I stocked up on poop bags, 2700 for $45... can't beat that. My own pups have several Nylabones and other toys from here. I love the 2 day shipping, extremely convenient.     About 3 months ago I was placing an order on Chewy.com for my cat. I had to provide a prescription for the food. I called them, the number under their contacts, and a real person answered after about 2 rings.     I've never experienced such great customer service in my life. We've been using Chewy the past 6 months and we love the service. I ordered some more Canidae for our dogs last week, usually since the food is so heavy and I don't have anywhere to store it I just put the box in our front hall closet. Tonight I opened the box to refill their food and was surprised to see Purina dog food. I called Chewy and they immediately sent out a corrected order of Canidae and gave me a credit for a 15 pound bag since our dogs were almost out of food. The operator told me I could return the bag of Purina or donate it to a shelter. So we'll be dropping it off at Humane Society this weekend. Will definitely stick with the company and recommend it to anyone. We get a discount for auto shipping as well which is a plus. I'll definitely start opening my boxes right away though!

    Placed my first order with Chewy.com on one day, it was delivered the next. Problem was, FedEx delivered it to a house down the street. My neighbor had to track me down. I had to go pick up the 50 lb box. I am elderly and so is my neighbor. Not easy for us to carry it down the driveway and lift it into my car. I always have bad experiences with FedEx.     I actually created an account here just to praise Chewy for its most excellent customer service representatives (and policies). All of the agents whom I've been in contact with have been friendly and positive. I've had a couple issues with Feliway diffusers (since they're prepackaged, obviously a manufacturers issue) that were taken care of literally within minutes. I also purchase most of my kitten and cat food there, and recently added litter and toys to the list. The fantastic customer service combined with a great selection of items and great prices will keep me a loyal Chewy shopper!!!

    I am very disappointed in Chewy. I called and spoke to customer service about an 11 panel cover, mat and playpen for my dog. The agent spent a good 20-30 minutes on the phone with my discussing the size of the pen so my dog couldn't jump out of it. She saw my order and knew what I had ordered. Today the product arrived and all that was there was the cover and mat. She never once said that the pen was not included in the order I placed. She is pure misrepresentation. I called today to question them and all they did was give me back credit for the item. They don't even sell an 11 panel playpen. This was my first order and I will never buy from them again.

    I have only been ordering from Chewy for about a month and have NEVER had a bad experience! Last week I ordered cat litter on a Friday expecting it to arrive on Monday. I mean, FedEx charges extra for Sat deliveries so I wasn't expecting the delivery but as I was in my car leaving on Sat. I see FedEx pull up and when I got home my delivery was in front of my door. I was able to give the cats clean litter right away vs. having to buy some litter until my order would arrive! Today I ordered 2 extra's and CS called me to make sure I was the one placing the order since both orders had the same cat litter on each. I said I didn't mean to order the litter but have no problem accepting it. The CS rep said she would delete it from my order because Chewy.com didn't want me to receive anything I didn't want and immediately fixed my account. I love Chewy.com!

    I enjoy shopping at local stores but when it comes to price and experience no one holds a torch to Chewy.com. I absolutely love this company and how they truly care about their customers and pets. I had a cat tree that seemed to be wearing too quickly and I called to ask for their advice and they sent me a new one completely free! And when my dog crate took a week and a half (instead of the stated 2 days) to arrive they refunded my cost and told me to feel free to donate it to a shelter or rescue! The customer service is 24 hours 7 days a week and every single person I have spoken to has been incredibly friendly and I love using their service because I know I will get what I am expecting and what I need.

    When I discovered Chewy, it was like being told that the world really is a good place after all. These people really do care about your pets. And the agents who are ALWAYS THERE to help you, they have pets at home too! These are animal lovers who want nothing more than to make your home full of happy healthy pets. I am elderly, disabled with no family at all so this means a lot to me.
